- 0:27Hey, everybody. Good morning from the chicken
- 0:29coop. So today we're talking about how
- 0:33sometimes the wrong choices make us end up with the right
- 0:39lessons. They provide us the right
- 0:41lessons. So these wrong choices, are they
- 0:43really wrong? So I've had quite a few people
- 0:46talking to me about this lately where they'll say things like,
- 0:49oh, that was the wrong choice. Or I did something and it was
- 0:54not right. I shouldn't have done it the way
- 0:55I did it. And I I made a choice and I
- 0:58stayed with this person or I went to this job or I, you know
- 1:01did this interview, whatever it might be, and they feel as
- 1:05though it was the wrong choice. But the truth is sometimes those
- 1:09wrong choices, and I'm air quoting the word wrong here.
- 1:12By the way, I'm not just a choice that.
- 1:17Is wrong. It's really something that's the
- 1:19bigger thing is. It provides you with the right
- 1:21lesson that you needed for life. It provides you with information
- 1:24to take you to the next level. It gives you things that you
- 1:27would have never gotten without it.
- 1:29Often some of the deepest things that have happened to me in my
- 1:32life have come out of situations like that and have provided me
- 1:37with huge growth spurts. So, you know, do we want to look
- 1:42at it as though it was wrong? Do we want to say I've wasted so
- 1:46much time? That's a real killer of a
- 1:48statement. When we mentioned that, we'll
- 1:50say no, I wasted so much time doing this.
- 1:53And did you waste time? I don't think anything is a
- 1:56waste of time if it brought you to a new level of awareness and
- 1:59brought you to a place of being, a higher state of evolution,
- 2:05higher you know, place of feeling like your soul is
- 2:09evolving. That it's not a wrong choice.
- 2:12It's not a bad thing. All it is is, you know, the
- 2:16lesson evolving. And sometimes we have to go
- 2:19through the pain in order to get to the pleasure, and sometimes
- 2:22we have to go through the pain in order to understand our true
- 2:25gifts. So when you start thinking about
- 2:28this in your own world, in your own sphere of influence, and you
- 2:32start thinking about what have you actually labeled as a wrong
- 2:37choice? Go back and keep you know,
- 2:40search through it and keep a keen eye out for what am I
- 2:44labeling as a choice like that. You know, I will tell you this,
- 2:49The more time you spend looking backwards and critiquing
- 2:54yourself and finding fault with it, all the more time you rob
- 2:59yourself at this present moment and moving forward.
- 3:02And nothing could be worse for your soul than to stay in the
- 3:06past. Because quite honestly, it's
- 3:08done. And it's time to move forward.
- 3:10It's time to go in a different direction.
- 3:12It's time to create something new in your life.
- 3:15And it's not time to stay in the past.
- 3:17It's definitely time to evolve out of it.
- 3:21It's gone. So you take the good, you figure
- 3:24out what you learned and you move forward.
- 3:26And that being said, one of the most important things that you
- 3:30can do for yourself. One of the most important things
- 3:33that you can do for yourself is give yourself the freedom of
- 3:37forgiveness for thinking that way.
- 3:40Not for the actions, but for thinking that way.
- 3:43Forgive yourself for thinking the negative thoughts about
- 3:46yourself. Forgive yourself for having bad
- 3:48dialogue about yourself. Forgive yourself for picking on
- 3:51yourself for being that mean boss that you would never work
- 3:56for, but yet you do it to yourself.
- 3:59It's not about forgiving yourself for the mistake or the
- 4:02belief about it, but forgiving yourself about being so hard on
- 4:06yourself. Because it's all just a lesson.
- 4:09It's all just part of the process.
- 4:11It's all part of the education. And when you essentially
- 4:15understand and let that piece go, it changes everything in the
- 4:19world. It changes everything.
- 4:21So today. I'm going to encourage you to go
- 4:24back, look, see what's there, see what you can find.
- 4:28Dig through it all. Don't.
- 4:29Don't mess around spending too much time.
- 4:33Just forgive yourself for it all and let it go and realize they
- 4:37brought you the huge lessons. Sometimes it's nice too.
- 4:40Can you hear this baby chick? Like, right up against the
- 4:42phone? She's fascinated by the phone
- 4:43right now, watching the little thing as we record.
- 4:48Needless to say, sometimes those lessons are the biggest ones
- 4:51when you write them down. What did I learn from this?
- 4:53The biggest pain point turns out to be the biggest lesson.
- 4:57So apparently she agrees. So go look for him.
- 5:00Correct yourself, correct your vision of it and allow yourself
- 5:04to forgive yourself. I hope you guys have a very,
- 5:07very blessed day and I will see you tomorrow.
- 5:09Bye.
