Ep 66 | Comedy G.O.A.T.: Dave Chappelle’s Controversial Netflix Special Is the Bravest Stand-Up Ever
With media pressure to cancel comedian Dave Chappelle, Whitlock stands up for the stand-up legend. Chappelle’s new Netflix special, “The Closer,” roasts the feminist and LGBTQ movements. How are his jokes also a defense of black manhood? Are Chappelle’s Jewish jokes really anti-Semetic? Joining Whitlock in this discussion are sports journalist Steve Kim and “Informed Dissent” host Leonydus Johnson. Does Kim find Chappelle’s Asian jokes funny or offensive? How does Christian podcaster Johnson compare disgraced comedian Bill Cosby to Chappelle?
