- 1:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, maybe you'll fall by Alex Andrew.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you'll pop parent in 2020 summer of 2020.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_01]: So nothing else going on.
- 1:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's normal time.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_01]: Sure.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_01]: The punchline is a blast from the past.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_02]: What?
- 1:25[SPEAKER_02]: What did the, what did grandma find when she was cleaning out her old ice cream freezer?
- 1:33[SPEAKER_01]: A blast from the path like a like a sonic blast like a sonic blast.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_01]: That's good.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_01]: I do love that.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_02]: No, I'm pretty funny.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_02]: A blast from the past.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_01]: I'm pretty fast.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_01]: A blast from the past.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_01]: If I say it in a funny voice like that is that help.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_01]: A blast from the past.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, okay.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_02]: No, I want to change my answer to you.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_02]: You must find the funny.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_02]: Well, you sound like Optimus Prime.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_02]: Is what you sound like?
- 2:02[SPEAKER_02]: Great, no.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_02]: I like that.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_02]: Autobots roll out.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_02]: You sounded less like Optimus Prime when you tried to sound like, but that was more rip-torn.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_02]: That was more waterburger guy.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_02]: It was a little waterburger guy.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_02]: Like that guy.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_02]: That's it.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_02]: There he is.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_02]: Let's bring it.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_02]: I'm gonna say, what do you say when you see one of your college buddies round town?
- 2:23[SPEAKER_02]: A blast with a blast.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_02]: A blast with a blast.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_02]: A blast with a blast.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_02]: A blast with a blast.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_02]: Boy, howdy.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_02]: A blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a blast with a
- 2:53[SPEAKER_02]: Thanks.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_02]: That's what Alex gets on her shoulders when she doesn't shower.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_02]: Alex Andrew.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_02]: That's so good.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_01]: We just farted around.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_02]: We just asked for the past to make a better joke.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_02]: Immediately.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_02]: Immediately.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_02]: I'm Carter that we just blast from the present.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_02]: I'm Carter and there's a bit of a movie news in general.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_02]: First of all, we won't get too much into it.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_02]: It has happened.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_02]: Kind of what felt like I don't know where, but I'm not, I'm not all in the threads.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_02]: Like I know some people in our discord were that kind of new brandos been working on this, but Brandon Sanderson of the Cosmere of Stormlight Archive of all these wonderful things that we've talked about.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_02]: The Cosmere on this podcast has signed a contract with Apple.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_02]: to basically give them the Cosmere, but he has full raid, which I think is, yeah.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_02]: It's different between any of these big fantasy turned media type things before, because our Martin really never had Rowling had not.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_02]: I don't feel like pretty unprecedented.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like I'm getting to have the control he wanted.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_02]: I think he likely had a certain amount.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_02]: The most involved in anybody had had something like this.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_02]: But I doubt that he had the control he probably would have wanted.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_02]: It seems like Sanderson has kind of put his foot down and said, this gets made if I have say in what happens.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_01]: These are my stories and nothing happens that I don't give you a thumbs up.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_01]: It's more than just being in the room.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, how could you not be protective over your characters?
- 4:29[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
- 4:29[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I totally agree.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's a direct result, too, of the Wheel of Time.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_01]: Adaptation for Manifel.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_01]: Sure.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_01]: Because he was consulted for that, as you guys both know he was chosen by Robert Jordan's.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_01]: We don't have finished that series, and so when Amazon bought the rights to adapt it into a TV show, they did consult him.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_01]: He's got a consultant credit on the show, and they're like, Brandon Sanderson, what should we do this?
- 4:52[SPEAKER_01]: And he was like, no, you shouldn't.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_01]: And they're like, okay.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_01]: We're gonna do it and they did it and the show's terrible people don't like it at all.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_01]: I can't speak to it.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_02]: I haven't watched it But I really I think a conversation that I would like to have and and not really so much With the three of us because I don't know that we've got the insider knowledge necessary here But the conversation I would love to have would be with like high level execs at You know Amazon Netflix and just the question of like What led you guys to making there's so many there's so many examples
- 5:24[SPEAKER_02]: of people that don't have the passion or the inside knowledge to make these shows, doing such a bad job that the fans of the books hate the show and people who didn't read the books also hate the show.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_01]: So why does it's a short, why do you keep doing it?
- 5:39[SPEAKER_01]: You do my like, like the Witcher.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_01]: Let's take the Witcher.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's a perfect example.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_01]: of like we can make a fantasy show.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_01]: There's a fantasy hole in the television market.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_01]: Game of thrones just ended.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_01]: Let's make this right.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_01]: We don't really have to market it all that much because people like the shows and the frames and then we don't really have to put a lot of effort into writing it because people will watch it because it says the witcher on the on the bus.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_02]: That's what I'm saying is who actually thinks that.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_02]: because it of course is going to work for one season.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_02]: Everyone knows anything will work for one season because people will check it out.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_02]: But eventually what's going to happen is you're going to run out of runway on goodwill.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_02]: And this mindset that studios seem to have that.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_02]: Consumers are Generally stupid.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_02]: It's clearly not true.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_02]: And I do think there is a market for Slap.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_02]: Hell, I'm part of the market for Slap.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_02]: I love watching.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I love reality TV and like I love that stuff, but when I watch something that I want to be good.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, surprise, I'd like for it to be good.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_02]: And when it's clear that the people making it don't care about it aren't passionate about it and didn't really plan They're just building the road as they drive.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_02]: Why would I waste my time?
- 6:48[SPEAKER_02]: It's so funny.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, in the whatever's breathing down their neck, competitiveness of it all, it seems like a lot of these big execs feel like we've got to get something out quickly.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_02]: You know, it's like any mess that we get at all in the current state of our world is like it's got to be quick and we can only have their attention for so long.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_02]: And so that they push these things, but all of the most thoughtful rider directors are the ones making the movies that stick and legitimately make the most money for you.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_01]: We're talking about our not those shows, you know, like white lotus was not interested in you being able to pay attention to it while you stare at your phone now in the streaming market though, I think it's really different like it it's still something that is weird That like me watching the Witcher on Netflix doesn't really pay the casting crew and writers of the Witcher right like it is the feedback loop is broken there because it's like
- 7:42[SPEAKER_01]: Number one, can you produce a season and recoup the cost?
- 7:45[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_01]: How do we measure, like, am I subscribing to Netflix?
- 7:49[SPEAKER_01]: Because I want to watch Queer Eye or because the Witcher Season 2 just came out.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_01]: You don't really know that.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_01]: So how do we allocate this money?
- 7:55[SPEAKER_01]: It just, uh, the separation of the, uh, the feedback loop there.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_01]: I think is, is part of the culprit.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_01]: And then also, like,
- 8:05[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, the truth is like, maybe you can produce one season.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_01]: And then that's enough to recoup your costs.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_01]: And it's like, well, this is just part of our library now.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_01]: And rather than valuing the Witcher as its individual show and season three is good, it's like the Witcher is an asset in our media portfolio that includes queer eye and stranger things, and it's a reason people might subscribe.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_01]: If that's just embarrassing, I think it's what I'm getting at.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_02]: And it's a part of the reason that I'm thrilled that Apple TV.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_02]: And when we've had conversations about,
- 8:33[SPEAKER_02]: You know, Cosmere moving to TV shows and movies, what we said is we hope Apple TV gets the, the contract here because Apple TV seems to be more focused on quality.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_02]: And it really feels like Apple TV is reminding me a lot of HBO, circa 2014, that they've got the hands that care and the budget to make something truly good.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_02]: It's where I hope Red Rising goes as well when, frankly, like, yeah.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_02]: I think that HBO and Apple are pretty much the only two streamers that I'm trusting with a quality show.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_02]: If you want to crank out like some random BS reality show, then give it to anybody.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_02]: But well, for actually give it to peacock, frankly, they're the only ones really killing it.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_02]: I'm really excited about this.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_01]: And I think the fact that it's going to Apple is giving me a lot of hope here.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_01]: I think a huge reason that it's going to Apple that makes me excited about Apple is that things like Mistborn are going to be movies.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_01]: You're not going to be television shows and no other streamer is committing to the theatrical release when no the way that Apple is.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_01]: It's an Apple movie.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_01]: But it got a theatrical release.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_01]: It is getting Oscar buzz.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_01]: Like their Apple seems to also be taking the movie theater experience seriously.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, whereas, you know, things like that's something that we've said is a bummer about knives out is that that franchise is now like it's going to be in theaters for like a long weekend, but it's not pretty much a small screen franchise from no one right.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, for sure.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_02]: I quick aside before I get into some other big news, on the Martin of it all, in HBO, nine to the seven kingdoms is really good.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_02]: There's only been two next few episodes and the third episode comes out this week.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_00]: It is pretty good.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_02]: And we're just following novellas and it's incredibly thoughtful.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_02]: This is the novellab, the hedge knight.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_02]: And to give you a vibe, in general, a bit of a spoiler for like one of the first scenes when we meet Duncan, the tall, who's the main character in this movie, or in the show.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_02]: There comes a moment where he does something, and then we start to hear the game of Thrones music, the old Game of Thrones music, and then it immediately cuts to him, projectile, pooping, like sideways, and just having an offer reaction to that, because he's got basically diarrhea.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_02]: And that, as a whole, was a massive risk.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_02]: And they're pulling it off even after something like that.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_02]: I thought that was hilarious.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_02]: And so I heard somebody play that as a whole.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_02]: Westerosi, a night's tale.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, for sure.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_02]: Cool, that that's what the show feels like.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's one of the hardest.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_02]: And it's charming and it's, it's really good.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_02]: And it feels enough removed that it doesn't have to be something that's filling the whole so that you know the lore of what's about to happen in Game of Thrones.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_02]: Like, it's there if you want it, you don't need to have it.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_02]: And so if there are those of you that, house of the dragon is too big, you know,
- 11:35[SPEAKER_02]: And you were broken by the end of Game of Thrones.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_02]: Then this might, yeah, I'm not asking you to ask you in the story, though, honestly.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_02]: But it'll be good.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_02]: Other big news in the franchising of it all are final, they're calling it.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_02]: They're calling it the final fast and furious movie.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_02]: Fast forever has a release date.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_02]: Fast forever.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_02]: Fast forever is the next one.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_02]: In 2020.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_02]: March.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_02]: I think.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_00]: Whoa.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_02]: That's so far away.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_02]: And we've got, you know, our our cast is there already, Mamoa.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_02]: We knew that Dwayne Johns would be in it.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_02]: He's there.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_02]: He's actually there for fast forever.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_02]: Beef has been squashed.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_02]: Of course, all the big names will be there.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_02]: But fast forever is coming.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_02]: The beef has been squashed.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_02]: Dude, who knows what we're doing at the Hoover Dam?
- 12:31[SPEAKER_02]: I will be so messy and I'm so excited.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_01]: I will remember that, like probably every four months or so.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_01]: Every 120 days, I'm like, oh, yeah.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_01]: There's a major, fast and furious cliffhanger of the Hoover Dam is exploding, and Dom Toretta was driving his car off a bridge away from the water.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_02]: Is that how fast X ended?
- 12:50[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, that's so funny.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_01]: Do you think there's any chance?
- 12:56[SPEAKER_02]: They just start they just like start a new movie Yeah, I want all of it like they yada yada it or don't even address it at all
- 13:06[SPEAKER_01]: They just start with the barbecue and Dom's like, it's crazy, it's crazy.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_01]: I drove away from all that water.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_01]: I think that might be what it should.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_02]: I think that might be what happens.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_02]: There's nothing, I think I've decided that I hate a long sequel weight that picks up right where the last one left off and it's like, I don't remember this.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, what do you want me to do?
- 13:26[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he will be gonna go back and watch this next thing.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_01]: His kid is in the passenger seat.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_01]: His kid will have aged half a decade in the middle of an eye.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_01]: He's sitting on the car with his dad.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_02]: Do you think they have the footage of what they want the end of that to be already filmed?
- 13:40[SPEAKER_02]: And they just didn't include it?
- 13:41[SPEAKER_02]: Or do you think they were like, cut?
- 13:42[SPEAKER_02]: We'll pick up later.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_01]: We're not gonna wear it.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, we're done.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, okay, I'm done.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_02]: What are the chances of making it's creative wins day?
- 13:50[SPEAKER_02]: I got to go close.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_02]: I want a percentage chance from each of you that like dumb dies, but dies dies 100 Yeah, I mean it's high Dies dies like you're one-hours forever alert for our last day no Craig bond.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, sorry I'm gonna go zero actually because he's going to retire off-screen to go hang out with
- 14:15[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly with Brian with Brian.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_02]: That's what's going to happen.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to retire with Brian in the final shots going to be Paul Walker's brother as Brian's silhouette and the two of them leaning on a leaning on a railing looking out over the ocean drinking Corona's and then they're going to clear glasses and that's how it's going to end so that the end of Dom's story is that him and Brian are still hanging out and it's going to be Vince like catharsis.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to be beautiful action.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_01]: I might tear up.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I will cry actually if that's great.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_02]: That's exactly that's exactly going to be what happens.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_01]: I think we're going to get an ending pretty similar to the Dark Knight rises because he's such a good friend, a fairly breaker dude, a fairly breaker.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_01]: I think, genuinely, I think he's going to appear to die in the final conflict.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_01]: And then somebody, I don't know, maybe ludicrous is going to be sitting at a cafe and just see the back of a bald head.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_02]: No, no, it'll be the front of a bald face in the back of a Paul Walker head.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's a cheering table together and let he let he will be there probably.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_02]: That's amazing.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_02]: I did let he died.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_02]: I don't remember.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_02]: She turned evil at one point.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_02]: I don't remember.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_02]: The further I give from these movies, the less I like them.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_02]: And then I start them again and I'm like, oh wait, no, these were all the same.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_02]: Um, we have, we've done a star was born a lot on this podcast.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_02]: We also talk about supernovas.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_02]: These times when big artists, we lose massive artists from the movie and TV industry.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_02]: Catherine O'Hara on Friday, January 30th, we lost.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_02]: And that's devastating.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_02]: 71 years old, I mean, this was, I think the closest I have felt about this specific vibe of losing someone, this person who,
- 16:00[SPEAKER_02]: had iconic roles in each decade of my life that I kind of grew up with was Robin Williams.
- 16:05[SPEAKER_02]: And this was the last time that I felt like this, and to lose Catherine O'Hara was such an absolute bummer and it's just, it's kind of hard to read, you know, the Dan Levy's of the world in McColle-Colkan and they're like, goodbye, Stark.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_02]: It's just, it's really heavy and massive.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_02]: I think there's something about losing someone who was,
- 16:25[SPEAKER_02]: So funny, you know, there's something about losing a funny person in a time that's honestly Pretty shitty right now and so it's just kind of like man you were a big help, and we don't have that anymore You know with like line-less losing his blanket a little bit But she's so wonderful we just watch the studio I think if you want to watch something new and you want to give a little homage To Catherine O'Hara the studio is worth the watch and it's very much her and she does a great job on that, but
- 16:54[SPEAKER_02]: I wanted to do an extra credit to mourn the loss here, and maybe make you feel worse than you do.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_02]: But let's play the extra credit.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_02]: I want to have to do.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_02]: I've gone through and handpicked some of her movies.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_02]: Her extra credit itself, her top four, semi-impossible.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_02]: We've got a mighty wind is in there and maybe best in shit.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_02]: But the other two are going to be just really too hard.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_02]: So we're going to do a little bit of journey through time for those of you that have, no shit's left.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_00]: You can credit it.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_02]: It's not.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_02]: Isn't that crazy?
- 17:22[SPEAKER_02]: I wouldn't see.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_02]: I would have lost on that.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_02]: I've never heard of that.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_02]: What is that?
- 17:27[SPEAKER_02]: It's crazy.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to go through four movies, hands selected here, or four things.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_02]: She's done obviously.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_02]: Shit's Creek will come up.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_02]: And then you get to pick any one individual from that.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_02]: To play extra credit for those of you that maybe have not heard us play extra credit.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_02]: One of the more popular games, or the more torturing games here on this podcast, which I think it's so funny that Jordan ends up being the person who is always, every any list, any extra credit, Jordan is always there to play the game and get frustrated with whoever it is, who's not hosting it.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_02]: That is, and that's a lot of fun.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_02]: We use the IMDB algorithm over here on the extra credit game.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_02]: What we have to do here is we have four, four, four, six, six, six,
- 18:08[SPEAKER_02]: different actors or actresses that we're trying to guess their top four credits that you might have seen on IMDB.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_02]: If you have the app or if you go online or even if you've got the the person in your family that calls it IDMB or IMDB or IMDB or IMDB or IMDB.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_02]: I got the right one.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_02]: Um, you go look at that and we're going to try and guess their top four credits.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_02]: You only need nine.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_02]: So you need to guess three of the four for this and actually we're done.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_02]: We do, sorry.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_02]: We do three actors.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_02]: It's three.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_02]: Do you have to guess three of the four if you get all four?
- 18:39[SPEAKER_02]: You get five points.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_02]: You can get 15 points.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_02]: You only need nine.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_02]: We'll start with 98.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_02]: The year I was born.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_02]: Beetlejuice.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_02]: In Beetlejuice, we have capital here, which I've already told you.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_02]: Don't do that.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_02]: Don't go that way.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_02]: Alec Baldwin, Gina Davis, Michael Keaton, I know the writer.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_02]: It's a pretty tough start.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_02]: You do either of these.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_02]: You can do Tim Burton if you wanted to.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_02]: Mike Keaton, Mike Keaton, I think we get Mikey Keats.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_02]: Gina Davis has my all-time favorite celebrities reading mean tweets.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_02]: It's just Gina Davis is a real man's man.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_02]: And she left so hard reading that.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_02]: And I think I love anybody being a good sport about trash talk.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, let's do Mikey Keats.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_01]: Here is something crazy I will say.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_01]: The founder.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_01]: You've never seen a Michael Keaton movie.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_01]: I knew it.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_01]: Here's the crazy I was saying.
- 19:35[SPEAKER_01]: I love Michael Keaton in everything he's ever done particularly during my life.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_00]: Who is he?
- 19:42[SPEAKER_02]: I thought he was really great in Keaton and Peel.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_02]: He was great in that.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_02]: Great sketch comedy guy.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_01]: He's like, look for real.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_01]: I think that we've, I think we've certainly got a Batman.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_01]: I think Birdman, I think you think we got a bat in a bird.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_01]: I think Birdman, I think Beetlejuice, I think maybe spotlight, yeah.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_01]: You don't think McDonald's movie.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_01]: You don't think the, I've never seen it, but I'm open to it.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_01]: I also haven't seen it, but I just feel a founder energy.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_02]: Or am I geeky, but do you want to start with who, sorry, what, what, ah, yes, yeah, when do I want to start with, or perhaps sometimes why, how do you, how do I want to start, why, why don't we start with the founder, you feel an energy, I like to roll with that, I'm a momentum guy, let's go founder.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_02]: You said it, don't get over here.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_02]: I heard you're laughing and knew this is what was going to be.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_02]: He couldn't even complain before we lock it in.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_02]: He's not totally sure.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_02]: Lock his plate in there.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_02]: He's paid to do the skydive.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_02]: He's in the plane and he's like, maybe not.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_02]: Lock in found.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_02]: Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, number six.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_01]: Well done.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_01]: He heard me and I think I always knew it would be there.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_01]: Birdman.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_02]: Birdman, lock it in.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_02]: Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, number one.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_02]: Hot start.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_01]: Hot start.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_01]: We got Beetlejuice, we got Batman, we've got Mr.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_01]: Mom.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_01]: It could be Mr.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_01]: Mom, Jack Frost.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_01]: I don't usually get like all sorts of frosts.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_02]: I don't usually get like all sorts of frosts.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_01]: I don't usually get like all sorts of frosts.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_01]: I don't usually get like all sorts of frosts.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_02]: I don't usually get like all sorts of frosts.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_02]: I don't usually get like all sorts of frosts.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_00]: I don't usually get like all sorts of frosts.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_00]: I don't usually get like all sorts of frosts.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_00]: I don't usually get like all sorts of frosts.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_00]: I don't usually get like all sorts of frosts.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_01]: I don't usually get like all sorts of frosts.
- 21:30[SPEAKER_01]: I don't usually get like all sorts of frosts.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_01]: I don't usually get like all sorts of frosts.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_01]: I don't usually get like all sorts of
- 21:34[SPEAKER_01]: Knock it in.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_01]: Bangle juice.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_02]: Wow.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_02]: Bangle juice.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_02]: Dude.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_02]: Bangle juice.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_02]: Not Bangle juice.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_02]: It's some Bangle juice.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_02]: You'll need to get one more here.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_02]: I think I got pretty trashed on Bangle juice and college a couple times.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_02]: Too much Bangle juice.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_02]: What about?
- 21:52[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, man.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_02]: I do think I mean, spotlight is one of my favorite Michael Keaton movies.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if it'll be.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_02]: Have we already said Batman?
- 21:59[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_01]: Let's do it.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_01]: Do you think Batman's in here?
- 22:04[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, I mean, Batman.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_01]: Batman, lock it in, lock it in.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_02]: That's the right Tim Burton movie for him.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_02]: Bing Bing, number four, you got three or four.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_02]: Number one, bird man, number two spotlight.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, come on.
- 22:20[SPEAKER_02]: The founder, and number four Batman, you said them all, you chose three.
- 22:25[SPEAKER_02]: Very good job, we got three there.
- 22:27[SPEAKER_01]: I love so, I go, I mean, heavy, but it's a good movie.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_01]: Honestly, I stand by those four choices, though.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_02]: I still think I would choose those four, which before we picked or the four, the four that we picked.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think I was spotlight as in there, I would have said, I think I probably would put that not in there in place.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_02]: Having never seen the founder, I can only speak to what I know, which is that I would pick spotlight over founder, put Beetlejuice in there.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_01]: Have you ever had a big Mac?
- 22:52[SPEAKER_02]: How a big Mac guy, if I'm being honest with you.
- 22:54[SPEAKER_01]: Have you ever had McNuggets?
- 22:55[SPEAKER_02]: My feedback on the Big Mac is that dry.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_02]: That extra bread is dry.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_02]: Why do we do this?
- 23:01[SPEAKER_01]: I just, what I'm trying to get at is, I think in some way you have seen the founder.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_01]: I believe he lives in all of his creations.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_02]: You fell to the founders.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_02]: Home Alone 1990, we won't do that one, because it's basically like just her again, or McColikolkin.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_02]: You're so pesky, I guess you could have done peshy.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_02]: Home Alone 2 came to your...
- 23:19[SPEAKER_02]: He had a quick data stern, extra credit.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_02]: Nightmare before Christmas.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_02]: My favorite actor after that.
- 23:27[SPEAKER_02]: She did tales from the crypt, some episodes, incredible career doing all sorts of stuff.
- 23:31[SPEAKER_02]: Outer limits, man, mad TV, best in show, that was so fun.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_02]: Orange County, I forgot she was in that.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_02]: Surviving Christmas, series of unfortunate events, monster house, she was a voice on a lot of those.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_02]: Fun, claymation, guys.
- 23:53[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, our next one is gonna be,
- 23:58[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, heard of it.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_02]: You can pick any of them in there in the shit's creek.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_02]: That's pretty tough.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's hard.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_02]: That is hard.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_02]: That is hard.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_02]: That is hard.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_00]: That is hard.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_02]: That is hard.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_02]: That is hard.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_02]: That is hard.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_02]: That is hard.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_02]: That is hard.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_02]: That is hard.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_02]: That is hard.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_02]: That is hard.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_02]: That is hard.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_02]: That is hard.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_02]: That is hard.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_02]: That is hard.
- 24:25[SPEAKER_02]: That is hard.
- 24:25[SPEAKER_02]: That is hard.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_02]: That is hard.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_02]: That is hard.
- 24:30[SPEAKER_01]: But Eugene Levy's top four is pretty similar to Catherine Mehera's top four, actually.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_01]: Probably, probably.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_02]: And that, yeah, shit's Creek is a tough one in terms of extra credit.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_01]: Hmm.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_01]: I think Dan Lerocanate is difficult.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_01]: Because they're our Canadian.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_02]: And I've never heard of anything they've done.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think it's real.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_01]: The great white mystery to our North is what they call it.
- 24:57[SPEAKER_01]: On the other side of the wall, it's like, I think any Murphy would be pretty difficult, too.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_02]: It would just be like, shit's Creek and what is it?
- 25:07[SPEAKER_02]: Kevin can have himself.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_02]: We could do another random thing she's done, but with just more.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe that would be easier because the thing about shit's creek is a lot of those people are front like they're from the same family of movies and stuff they trap kind of travel together throughout it's it will it's a real it's a real town they're not act yeah it's just I don't have the extra credit for real life in 2019 she voiced in the Adam's family movie
- 25:34[SPEAKER_02]: Grandma.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_02]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
- 26:04[SPEAKER_01]: What do you think about?
- 26:06[SPEAKER_01]: So I think that Finn Wolfhard's only been in three things.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_01]: I think we could get all three of them.
- 26:14[SPEAKER_01]: Oscar Isaac could be fun.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_01]: Could be dangerous.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_01]: Could be fun.
- 26:18[SPEAKER_02]: Could be dangerous.
- 26:18[SPEAKER_02]: Could be fun.
- 26:23[SPEAKER_02]: Oscar Isaac just inside Lou and Davis four times.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_02]: What if we did, I mean, Martin Short could be fun, but I mean, what would it this is Santa Claus 3 4 times it's probably the Santa Claus 3 would be my guess why don't we do and then my my I'm produced spec script for the Santa Claus 4 Chloe Grace Morets, we fun
- 26:49[SPEAKER_01]: I think she's, uh, she's like the child CEO in 30 rock, right?
- 26:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_01]: That is the only thing I think of for her.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_01]: I know she's, I know she's done other things, but she's done a couple of everything.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 27:03[SPEAKER_01]: Disappears into that black hole for me.
- 27:05[SPEAKER_02]: She's done at least a couple other things, which Titus Burgess could be fun.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_02]: Why don't we do, why don't we do Finn Wolfhard?
- 27:14[SPEAKER_02]: The guaranteed three.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_02]: Do you want to go ahead and hear Martin
- 27:20[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 27:21[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 27:21[SPEAKER_02]: I'll just give you his number two, the Santa Claus 3.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_02]: That's easy, really.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_02]: Dude.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_02]: That is wild.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, Finn Wolfhardt.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_02]: Here we go, boys.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, strange thing.
- 27:29[SPEAKER_02]: Give me stronger tanks, stronger tanks, stronger things, stronger things.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_02]: Lock it in.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_02]: He's a strong guy.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_02]: He's a strong guy.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_02]: He's a strong guy.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_02]: He's a strong guy.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_02]: He's a strong guy.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_02]: He's a strong guy.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_02]: He's a strong guy.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_02]: He's a strong guy.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_02]: He's a strong guy.
- 27:37[SPEAKER_01]: He's a strong guy.
- 27:37[SPEAKER_01]: He's a strong guy.
- 27:38[SPEAKER_01]: He's a strong guy.
- 27:38[SPEAKER_01]: He's a strong guy.
- 27:38[SPEAKER_01]: He's a strong guy.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_01]: He's a strong guy.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_02]: He's a strong guy.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_02]: He's a strong guy.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_02]: He's a strong guy.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_02]: He's a strong guy.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_02]: He's a strong guy.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_02]: He's a strong guy.
- 27:43[SPEAKER_02]: He's a strong guy.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_02]: He's a strong guy.
- 27:45[UNKNOWN]: He
- 27:45[SPEAKER_02]: I'm kidding.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_02]: Wouldn't that be crazy?
- 27:46[SPEAKER_02]: Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing
- 28:12[SPEAKER_01]: got to be in a flashback.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_01]: Actually, yeah, he is in a flashback.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, it chapter two.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, because there was a bunch of controversy when that movie came out, because when they showed the flashback of the kids, they filmed it obviously like a year or two later, and they de-aged the kids digitally a year, so that they would look more like their itchapter one selves, rather than like, I went through, I went through 11 months worth of puberty.
- 28:38[SPEAKER_01]: I did puberty.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, itchapter two.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_01]: Do we do we do anything cautiously here?
- 28:45[SPEAKER_01]: Nope.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_01]: There's no there's nothing it chapter two like it in It's like it in yeah one more guess so what else is this guy?
- 28:52[SPEAKER_02]: Don't have you got to stop being like let's do this and then be like now you do it No, no, I thought for sure we'd have it one it to it stranger thing it two was your third guarantee that you said Yeah, because he hasn't done anything else.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_01]: I don't even remember it is being in it chapter two honestly.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_01]: What's his name in it?
- 29:12[SPEAKER_01]: Mike.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_01]: What's the character?
- 29:13[SPEAKER_01]: What?
- 29:14[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, it is Richie.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_01]: Richie.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_01]: He's been Mike and Richie, and that's it.
- 29:18[SPEAKER_01]: Richie was Bill Hader.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_02]: I see two more.
- 29:27[SPEAKER_02]: Two more.
- 29:27[SPEAKER_02]: Sure you do.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sure you do the problem is I don't know what they are.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_01]: Is there any other stranger things like stuff?
- 29:39[SPEAKER_01]: the game.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_02]: I just feel like it's gonna be like the tonight show as himself or something like that.
- 29:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_02]: Saturday night.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_02]: I see nothing of himself here.
- 29:46[SPEAKER_02]: I know him.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_02]: Nothing is himself.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_02]: I know that I have, I think I have sat by all in the theater and we watched a trailer for this movie that is his second credit.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_02]: And we were like, there's no way.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_02]: We're not gonna watch that.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, but what is one of the leads in that?
- 30:01[SPEAKER_02]: What movie did we pull this from?
- 30:03[SPEAKER_02]: Adam's family?
- 30:05[SPEAKER_02]: Mm-hmm.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_02]: Oh.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_02]: Lock it in.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_02]: Lock it in.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_02]: No.

- 30:11[SPEAKER_01]: Thing.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_02]: Credit number one hit credit number two ghost busters after life.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_01]: Oh.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_02]: Right.

- 30:20[SPEAKER_01]: I'm listening.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_01]: Listen.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_01]: Infinite monkeys.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_01]: Infinite typewriters in my brain never could have gotten after life.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_02]: Number three was Stranger Things.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_02]: As Mike Wheeler.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_02]: We saw it take nine years for him to get through high school.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, Pinocchio.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_02]: He was the voice of Candle Wick.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_02]: Pinocchio.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, man.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_02]: Great.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_02]: Number four.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_02]: Was that only our second person?
- 30:44[SPEAKER_02]: Only your second person.
- 30:45[SPEAKER_02]: So you got to be person here.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_02]: You got five points.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_02]: And let's pull from, you could do the last of us.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_02]: We could do Wild Robot.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_02]: You could do the studio, which the studio has
- 31:01[SPEAKER_02]: That's Rogan.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_02]: Is there anybody there that you think we could get perfect?
- 31:03[SPEAKER_02]: That's Katherine Holtz, maybe Seth Roges.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, like Baron Holtz, Seth Roges.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_02]: Katherine Han, perhaps, even a Franco Brian Cranston so he craves at least a Gilroy, that's so fun.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_02]: Ice cube, I think it's swing at Katherine Han, probably, right?
- 31:23[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, how last week you could take a I don't you've done it before, but you could do Pedro Pascal and hope that things are remembered or that things have stayed the same.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_02]: Neither is true.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_02]: Robot, if you don't remember, that had Lupita Noongo Pedro Pascal again in that one.
- 31:45[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, Bill Nyey.
- 31:47[SPEAKER_02]: Matt Barry.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_02]: Science guy.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_02]: Mark Campbell's in there.
- 31:54[SPEAKER_02]: Hmm, heard of him.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_02]: A lot better be to more candle.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_02]: Why don't we do, why don't we do like, uh, why don't we swing at, uh, every cavel Sam Rockwell.
- 32:07[SPEAKER_02]: Bryce tell us how word.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_02]: What is this?
- 32:11[SPEAKER_02]: What is this?
- 32:11[SPEAKER_02]: Our guy, Richard Grant, John Cena.
- 32:14[SPEAKER_02]: Hmm.
- 32:18[SPEAKER_01]: I say either Catherine Han or Seth Rogan.
- 32:21[SPEAKER_01]: How confident, rank them, which one do you feel more confident in for yourself?
- 32:24[SPEAKER_01]: Seth Rose, I feel about the same on both.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_02]: Seth Rose, I feel about the same on both.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_02]: Seth Rose, I feel about the same on both.
- 32:29[SPEAKER_01]: Seth Rose, I feel about the same on both.
- 32:31[SPEAKER_01]: Seth Rose, I feel about the same on both.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_01]: Seth Rose, I feel about the same on both.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_01]: Seth Rose, I feel about the same on both.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_01]: Seth Rose, I feel about the same on both.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_02]: Seth Rose, I feel about the same on both.
- 32:42[SPEAKER_02]: Seth Rose, I feel about the same on both.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_02]: Seth Rose, I feel about the same on both.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_02]: Seth Rose, I feel about the same on both.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_02]: Seth Rose, I feel about the same on both.
- 32:47[SPEAKER_02]: Seth Rose, I feel about the same on both.
- 32:48[SPEAKER_02]: Seth Rose, I feel about the same on both.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_02]: Seth Rose, I feel about the same on
- 32:51[SPEAKER_02]: awards awards awards.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, there's that, but I think it's probably too new to
- 32:57[SPEAKER_02]: I'm thinking for Sethi Rogues.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_02]: I think there's a decent chance we got at neighbors.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_02]: I think there's a pretty good chance.
- 33:04[SPEAKER_02]: I know.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_02]: Probably pineapple Express.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_02]: Let's go with that.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, pineapple Express.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_02]: Lock it up.
- 33:09[SPEAKER_02]: Being being being being number two, our three, number two, or three, number three, number three.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_01]: Being being being being being being being being being it's somewhere between one and four.
- 33:18[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think it's going to be like the one or the years.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_02]: I think probably, um, we could have like, I think I feel pretty good about neighbors.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_02]: Actually, it's got, you know, him and Zac Efron and Dave Franco and was at Roseburn.
- 33:39[SPEAKER_01]: It's a pretty strong film.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_01]: Pretty popular.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_01]: Has he done anything where he's like really serious?
- 33:49[SPEAKER_01]: And it's like, wow, I didn't expect this from Seth.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_02]: Wasn't he the green Hornet?
- 33:53[SPEAKER_01]: was trying not to suggest the green hornet.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_01]: There's no way it's not here.
- 33:57[SPEAKER_01]: Definitely not.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm thinking any his equivalent of like, wow, I didn't know Seth had it in a studio.
- 34:03[SPEAKER_01]: Honestly.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 34:05[SPEAKER_02]: And there is certainly a chance that the studio is there.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_02]: It is pretty big right now.
- 34:10[SPEAKER_02]: It's like less than a year old.
- 34:11[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_02]: It happens.
- 34:14[SPEAKER_02]: But not often.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_01]: It happens if you're Avengers Infinity War.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, let's say neighbors.
- 34:22[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
- 34:24[SPEAKER_01]: Live action, Lion King.
- 34:26[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, let's do that and said, no.
- 34:28[SPEAKER_01]: Neighbors, lock it in.
- 34:30[SPEAKER_01]: Neighbors, lock it in.
- 34:32[SPEAKER_02]: Bung Bung, not like a good neighbor.
- 34:35[SPEAKER_02]: It was a great for the studio.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_02]: Lock it in.
- 34:40[SPEAKER_02]: We got one more guess.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_02]: Studio lock it in.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_02]: Bung Bung, number one.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_02]: This is the end.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_02]: Number two, three bad.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, number three, pineapple express, number four.
- 34:49[SPEAKER_02]: sausage party.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to jump to a break.
- 34:51[SPEAKER_02]: I should have thought of the interview too.
- 34:53[SPEAKER_02]: We're just going to break.
- 34:53[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to use some ads and then I'm going to present them with something an extra credit that they've never seen before on the other side of this that should be quick right before we talk about the most recent episode of Traders.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, my cliffhanger.
- 35:20[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, welcome to the middle part we've to every time it's an announcement.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_02]: I couldn't never, I couldn't come down from it.
- 35:31[SPEAKER_02]: I stay in disguise.
- 35:32[SPEAKER_02]: You get stuck up there.
- 35:33[SPEAKER_02]: That's a big risk.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_02]: I got stuck up there in the sky.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_02]: Would you listen to Imagine Dungeons?
- 35:39[SPEAKER_02]: We have begun our next season of Imagine Dungeons.
- 35:41[SPEAKER_02]: I next season, and it's a great one.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_02]: We continue to have so much fun.
- 35:46[SPEAKER_02]: What a special thing to be able to do to play imagination with our friends and get it really jazzed up and produced up.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you, Doge, for all of the music, and putting that stuff together.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_02]: It's lovely.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_02]: And if you still haven't listened to that, there's a little behind the scenes, which is kind of just a good introduction, maybe.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_02]: episode zero to an extent maybe before.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_02]: There's a few supportlies in there, but it's still a ton of fun.
- 36:12[SPEAKER_02]: Let's do Imagine Dungeons and obviously keep listening to two chunks.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_02]: Let people know about this.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_02]: Head on over.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_02]: I got a feeling here in the future we're going to we might turn in to a 80% survivor season 50 podcast.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_02]: If you like survivor, now's the time.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_02]: I've got an idea maybe for the three of us to do a little fun little draft.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, to see how our people are doing, to be a come in and be the experts for our person on those episodes and hope that they do, well, maybe they'll be some incentives to win.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_02]: Who knows, but there's going to be lots of fun there.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_02]: If you want to jump over into the discord, we've had lots of great conversations.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_02]: As soon as the Brandon Sanders and News broke, our discord blew up and it just ends up being almost investigative journalism at that point.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_02]: There's just so much stuff that comes in that maybe I hadn't seen yet because different people have different sources and so I was just really cool.
- 37:01[SPEAKER_02]: I just really love that community.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_02]: So if you want to come join that community, please do so.
- 37:05[SPEAKER_02]: Otherwise, rate and review us, if you can, it is a very easy process, you can do on Spotify, you can do it on Appaliteans, check on both of them.
- 37:15[SPEAKER_02]: You might have done one and not the other, it's really good regardless, but love that.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_02]: Let's go.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_02]: Now I'm going to go present them with a never-before-seen opportunity in extra credit.
- 37:25[SPEAKER_01]: All right, we're back.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_01]: I want to say now that now that we're back in the show, I want to say Carter, you did all of shout announcements by yourself.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_01]: And it was like I was watching the X games and a guy dropped into the half pipe and did this historic run of like, oh my god.
- 37:39[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god.
- 37:39[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_01]: He's nailing it.
- 37:41[SPEAKER_01]: He's nailing it.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_01]: He's nailing it.
- 37:43[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god.
- 37:43[SPEAKER_01]: And it's just every trick.
- 37:45[SPEAKER_02]: He's more radical than the last jeans fell off.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_02]: And then he picked him up.
- 37:49[SPEAKER_02]: and still guy, good scores.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_01]: So guy, good scores.
- 37:52[SPEAKER_01]: Well, is the guy, what was the guy who fell out of orbit and his shoe came off?
- 37:56[SPEAKER_01]: You remember that?
- 37:57[SPEAKER_01]: He fell so far and his shoe came off.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_02]: Which really, the shoe coming off with skaters feels like that's not that hard.
- 38:03[SPEAKER_02]: I don't even know why they wear them.
- 38:05[SPEAKER_02]: I guess for weight or something.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_00]: They're barely on.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_02]: They're barely on.
- 38:09[SPEAKER_02]: They're barely on.
- 38:09[SPEAKER_02]: I have a full protection to give us more time to talk about traders.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_02]: Let's just jump into this, the special offer I have for you.
- 38:17[SPEAKER_02]: Catherine Han was one of the other options that you had.
- 38:19[SPEAKER_02]: You're between Seth Rogan and Catherine Han.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_02]: If you can guess one of her top four, I'll let you win this round of extra credit.
- 38:29[SPEAKER_01]: That doesn't inspire confidence at all.
- 38:31[SPEAKER_02]: And that's it.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_02]: What an amazing opportunity.
- 38:34[SPEAKER_02]: We have here.
- 38:37[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, man.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_02]: OK. One of her top four.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_02]: That means it's not going to be like, did they ever make that agatha show?
- 38:47[SPEAKER_02]: They did.
- 38:49[SPEAKER_02]: They did.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_02]: They did.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_02]: So it's not going to be that.
- 38:53[SPEAKER_02]: Seems like it's probably not stepbrothers.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_02]: because that would be pretty obvious.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_02]: Kass is amazing, man.
- 39:01[SPEAKER_02]: She truly, truly is.
- 39:03[SPEAKER_02]: What did she get cast for recently?
- 39:05[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, she's cast is Rapunzel's mom.
- 39:07[SPEAKER_01]: And the action tank was awful.
- 39:08[SPEAKER_01]: Mother, she's awful.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_01]: Perfect casting for a movie I wish didn't exist.
- 39:13[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 39:13[SPEAKER_02]: I will see that one.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_02]: I saw the how to train your dragon, and it was a lot of fun.
- 39:19[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'm sure it was, because they had a pretty good blueprint to go off of, which is, they did.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_02]: They did.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_02]: Other movie that's exactly the same.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_02]: It's not shocking.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_02]: She was a Doc Ock in into the spider verse.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_02]: She was.
- 39:31[SPEAKER_02]: That was cool.
- 39:32[SPEAKER_02]: What if we just guess that?
- 39:36[SPEAKER_02]: No, there is no.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_01]: I was like that.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_02]: I watched recently with Cali that was like 90s or early 2000s kind of more traditionally like girly movie that she was in that I feel like it's probably.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, she was always that.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_02]: And I feel like it's probably one of those.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_02]: She was the, I can't for the life of me, remember.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_02]: She was the therapist on How to Luzegai in 10 Days.
- 39:59[SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_02]: She was the bartender in Sweet Home Alabama.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_02]: She's like best friend and something that I'm thinking of that I can't really best friend.
- 40:12[SPEAKER_01]: Sweet Home Alabama, it's pretty wild that we did watch that.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_01]: And there's an hour-long episode of our podcast on the internet of me talking about it.
- 40:21[SPEAKER_01]: Could not tell you a single detail of that movie.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_01]: I could not tell you the first thing about sweet Home Alabama.
- 40:27[SPEAKER_01]: That's good.
- 40:27[SPEAKER_02]: We called it sweet home babbling forever.
- 40:29[SPEAKER_01]: We heard it.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_01]: So that she could make it.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_02]: That's all I remember.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_02]: She's got a head back home and make sure she gets a divorce.
- 40:35[SPEAKER_02]: She can't marry him until she's divorced.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_02]: That's right.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_02]: That's how it goes.
- 40:39[SPEAKER_02]: That's right.
- 40:40[SPEAKER_01]: Whatever you say, man.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_01]: That's right.
- 40:42[SPEAKER_02]: I'm thinking, I want to bring in any bills.
- 40:45[SPEAKER_02]: I'm thinking for Katherine Han.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_02]: Here's what I'm thinking for Katherine Han is.
- 40:50[SPEAKER_02]: Probably what I'm thinking it probably is for her.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that was helping that would work.
- 40:54[SPEAKER_02]: I was really hoping that would close some time.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_02]: Out of me.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 40:57[SPEAKER_02]: You got to my head, man.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_02]: Now, everything I'm thinking of that sheet set, brother's locker room.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, let's block in the brothers.
- 41:04[SPEAKER_01]: Lock the brothers in to their room.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_01]: The bomb bomb.
- 41:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm glad you took your stab at it.
- 41:09[SPEAKER_02]: Number one, after noon delight, sure.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_02]: Number two, transparent.
- 41:14[SPEAKER_02]: She was on five seasons of a show called Transparent.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_02]: Number three, free agents, two seasons of that show.
- 41:21[SPEAKER_02]: And then number four bad moms.
- 41:23[SPEAKER_02]: I thought that might be the closest.
- 41:24[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah, couldn't done bad.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_02]: I could probably get a God.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_02]: That moms would have been epic.
- 41:28[SPEAKER_02]: If you would have guessed bad moms, but that's extra critical.
- 41:30[SPEAKER_02]: It would have been so epic.
- 41:31[SPEAKER_02]: And you do very special.
- 41:32[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe that comes back, but I could not believe.
- 41:35[SPEAKER_02]: Usually when you get between two or three, I go look at them.
- 41:37[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, like man if they go as feet take speaking of free agent left at the fork feels like hers might be free with how bad They've done of setting up her I am to be top four.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_02]: Let's get you a paid agent Katherine.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_02]: Let's see if maybe I don't do it We'll do it.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_01]: Let's make a pivot.
- 41:51[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you already got a free one.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_02]: I'm on your age stuff.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_01]: She's done What if we were the first podcast of eight of agents?

- 42:09[SPEAKER_01]: Let's talk.
- 42:10[SPEAKER_01]: We were promising of speaking of secret agents.
- 42:13[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
- 42:14[SPEAKER_02]: We were promised drama, and drama we received.
- 42:18[SPEAKER_02]: Holy moly.
- 42:19[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_02]: It doesn't make sense to talk about this episode without first talking about the outfits, the looks that walked into this bang, wait, am I?
- 42:30[SPEAKER_02]: This is...
- 42:32[SPEAKER_02]: What it's about?
- 42:33[SPEAKER_02]: What good TV, man?
- 42:35[SPEAKER_02]: What great television in general?
- 42:37[SPEAKER_02]: What at most excellent competitive reality TV we have going on here.
- 42:41[SPEAKER_02]: This season has figured it out and I don't understand how, but they have cracked the Trader's code and the Trader's code is keep the drama high, pick traders that will at least start by working together.
- 42:54[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 42:55[SPEAKER_02]: And give people opportunities to turn a look.
- 43:00[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_02]: Just give people opportunity to dress up and look crazy.
- 43:04[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna show you guys a photo.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna hold my camera up, hold my phone up to my camera.
- 43:08[SPEAKER_01]: Sure.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_01]: And I want you to tell me who's outfit this was exactly.
- 43:13[SPEAKER_01]: This is Mother Nature from the Santa Claus too.
- 43:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's Candace so good.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_01]: A hundred percent.
- 43:18[SPEAKER_01]: Also, a hundred percent.
- 43:20[SPEAKER_02]: Also, Candace was giving, I think it's Queen of the Damned.
- 43:25[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 43:26[SPEAKER_02]: Which I might have been what she was actually going for.
- 43:29[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, Candace's was over the top, Lisa, obviously coming in with the cursed Amulette.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_02]: She was the right person to give the Amulette to.
- 43:38[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, our hooded figure standing behind Allen, who is having the time of his life.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_02]: This was made at six years old with my stuffies.
- 43:50[SPEAKER_02]: Just lining up and coming up with the most ridiculous extravagant.
- 43:55[SPEAKER_02]: Like, situation of my life.
- 43:57[SPEAKER_02]: It was like, it's a good job to have you.
- 44:01[SPEAKER_02]: It was just so good.
- 44:02[SPEAKER_02]: But like, I cackled.
- 44:06[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm on, you know, I'm trying to be pretty regular about acupressure mat.
- 44:11[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if I've talked about that on the podcast maybe I have, it's basically like acupuncture, but you just lay on a bunch of spikes.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_02]: on this map and it's just good for blood flow, whatever.
- 44:20[SPEAKER_02]: I'm laying there and it's best not to move in this scenario.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_02]: And Jam Jam looks over and he says, don't want to hold my hand, bitch.
- 44:28[SPEAKER_02]: And I am laughing and jiggling so much.
- 44:32[SPEAKER_02]: It's causing me pain because it's like I'm having to start over the whole process.
- 44:36[SPEAKER_02]: This whole thing, you have thrown a match on gasoline with all of the different things.
- 44:43[SPEAKER_02]: And the production did such a good job.
- 44:45[SPEAKER_02]: He knows so much else happened.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_02]: We knew that production was going to feed us the things that they end up arguing about around the table.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_02]: So many moves happen here.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_02]: Kristen, just taking it.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_02]: Johnny just grabbing the potion and giving it to Kristen because he believes her, people at this point are doing exactly what you need them to do to where they are just making moves to win.
- 45:08[SPEAKER_02]: What do you do at 24?
- 45:09[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, I'm, I'm susin it out.
- 45:10[SPEAKER_02]: I've got no idea what's going on here.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_02]: But now that we've cut the whole cast about 13, yeah.
- 45:16[SPEAKER_02]: It's brilliant, and it's just so, so fun, Natalie, just demanding it.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_02]: You started to see, like, here is the person, we never got to see Natalie be like this on survivor, right?
- 45:29[SPEAKER_02]: No, not really.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_02]: Because she was in control a lot of the time, but all of a sudden, she's not.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_02]: Like this thing has just been sprung on her, and now we get to see like what does someone who really, really, really, really wants to win do when they're back as against the wall and she just strong arm did comes back.
- 45:44[SPEAKER_02]: But Natalie.
- 45:46[SPEAKER_02]: I love that Natalie knows herself well because when she said typically I'm at my best when I'm a little angry.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_02]: I looked at Cali and I was like true, I mean, Natalie, whenever she's got some sort of crusade that she's on for revenge is when she becomes this like unstoppable juggernaut in any game that she plays, I'm thinking of her coconut run in 40, I'm thinking of her twin getting eliminated and she just says like that's a big mistake.
- 46:11[SPEAKER_02]: Like you guys just made a huge mistake and just shoulder-checking her way through an entire season.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_02]: And so here,
- 46:17[SPEAKER_02]: You know, back against the wall, and Natalie just says, dibs, dibs, I'm fighting for it.
- 46:22[SPEAKER_02]: And you can always count on Natalie.
- 46:23[SPEAKER_02]: If there's immunity available, you can count on Natalie to be like, that's what I'm about.
- 46:28[SPEAKER_03]: That's what I'm about.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_02]: But the fight over the potions is not even the moment that rings the strongest, the loudest for me.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_02]: What rings so loudly for me is jam jam.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but still being correct.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_02]: And as his chair is being dragged out of the room, looking at everybody saying, it was Lisa.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_02]: It's Lisa.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_02]: It was Lisa.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_02]: Lisa did it.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_02]: She kissed me.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_02]: It was Lisa.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_02]: That was crazy.
- 46:51[SPEAKER_02]: OK. That was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that was, that
- 47:01[SPEAKER_01]: the live, I guess, technically in the, in the, in the parlance of the traders, the live execution of Jam Jam.
- 47:08[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 47:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 47:09[SPEAKER_01]: Was was so wild.
- 47:11[SPEAKER_02]: And he was so, but leave him.
- 47:13[SPEAKER_02]: And he was so hurt when it was his name.
- 47:16[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 47:16[SPEAKER_02]: When Alex had Jam Jam and Jam Jam was face fell and he just started his release.
- 47:21[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, it was Lisa.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_02]: It was Lisa, Alan is so perfect for this, because at this point too, he hardly ever, anytime he shows remorse as the host, it's sarcastic.
- 47:31[SPEAKER_02]: And so for him to be in this moment, and you know, tell the history of this, which that, uh,
- 47:37[SPEAKER_02]: ancient like Scottish story is basically I think with the red wedding with the red wedding yeah yeah and so to come in and just like persecute like point right at him and then he's just taken away and it's so that's one of the best things because you know we play D&D together and there's times where I'm just there the same kind of feeling that you get at the movie theater we all you see is the screen sometimes you're so deep
- 48:01[SPEAKER_02]: in the story that people feel it.
- 48:03[SPEAKER_02]: And so that's why sometimes to an extent, I get it.
- 48:05[SPEAKER_02]: When people say things, yeah, that make you chuckle.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_02]: And there's like, I almost died.
- 48:09[SPEAKER_02]: No, Natalie didn't technically write their in their in your anatomy of it all, did not.
- 48:16[SPEAKER_02]: But they're literally feeling these things of like this, this is the end.
- 48:20[SPEAKER_02]: This is it.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, just absolutely incredible.
- 48:25[SPEAKER_01]: I think this week was an absolutely masterful play.
- 48:31[SPEAKER_01]: by Rob.
- 48:33[SPEAKER_01]: The board.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_02]: He's already writing.
- 48:35[SPEAKER_02]: He's already writing his round table persecution of Lisa.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_02]: When Jam Jam is putting that nail in the coffin.
- 48:41[SPEAKER_01]: Every step of the way, like things went perfectly for him.
- 48:45[SPEAKER_01]: The things that he couldn't control fell into place perfectly for him.
- 48:48[SPEAKER_01]: And the things that he could control, I don't think he could have played them even 1% better.
- 48:53[SPEAKER_01]: No, like I agree.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_01]: I as his trader's professor give him a perfect 100% on this week of traders.
- 49:00[SPEAKER_02]: Full of great.
- 49:01[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he did so as his round table play.
- 49:06[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, and I don't really get to the kind of jump.
- 49:08[SPEAKER_02]: Can we get to a smaller, more ancient table first, the dagger guess?
- 49:14[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, man.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_02]: I honestly think it's kind of dangerous how good he was at that because, yeah, I would be like, whoa.
- 49:24[SPEAKER_02]: Pulling everybody in and being like, hey, we don't tell anybody before we get in this mansion.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_02]: Like, he's so good at this.
- 49:33[SPEAKER_01]: It's like watching Surrey like genuinely it's like at this point it wouldn't surprise him if he went all the way to the end with no heat on him at all, right?
- 49:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, well win the thing, so after the round table was crazy, somebody brings him up a Candace at the brings him up at the round table and then on the way out there are faithful with Candace like Rob really that was your like
- 49:55[SPEAKER_02]: The heat is so far off and his name's boiler, I guess, for conversation we could have, but his name is brought up officially for the very first time the entire season this episode, and I don't think it's actually going to be dangerous.
- 50:08[SPEAKER_01]: I think if anything, it helps him that his name was brought up because it's like, this is the only episode where he's led the charge on an evicting somebody.
- 50:16[SPEAKER_01]: And it was a trader, and then next week, it's very easy for him to be like,
- 50:20[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, man.
- 50:21[SPEAKER_01]: Like it was really weird that Candace brought my name up.
- 50:23[SPEAKER_01]: Or somebody else say that.
- 50:24[SPEAKER_01]: Like right.
- 50:25[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think he should go for a trader two weeks in a row.
- 50:28[SPEAKER_01]: But if Colton brings up like, do you think it's odd that Candace randomly threw you in?
- 50:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he's like, I don't even like, yes, yeah.
- 50:35[SPEAKER_01]: I think there was no way you were gonna go home.
- 50:37[SPEAKER_01]: It was so weird.
- 50:37[SPEAKER_01]: All the votes were for Lisa.
- 50:39[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, why wouldn't she do that?
- 50:40[SPEAKER_02]: My algorithm has fed me.
- 50:43[SPEAKER_02]: not since any presidential election, have I seen so many people so firmly on opposite sides?
- 50:53[SPEAKER_02]: What has happened with the Candice Against Rob is our our bravo sphere people, right, that that love the traders for the bravo of it all, right, which yeah, this is a greater big conversation about the traders,
- 51:10[SPEAKER_02]: because I think both a competitive reality camp and a Brawlsphere camp claim the show as their own, right?
- 51:18[SPEAKER_02]: Sure, we're not for Bravo, traders wouldn't exist.
- 51:20[SPEAKER_02]: We're not for these competition shows, traders wouldn't exist as a competition.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_02]: So what has happened with Candace bringing out Rob and calling him a snake?
- 51:28[SPEAKER_02]: is I'm starting to see like fan art of the people that love housewives that are like have a snake wrapped around robes, neck and he's poisonous and he's so he's the worst at this game because also the great thing is like this is nom nom's for the bravos here, bravos for you love someone to hate, for you know, the perfect conduit is Candace for you is the burn at all of housewives.
- 51:53[SPEAKER_02]: You come for me.
- 51:54[SPEAKER_02]: Do you know who I am, right?
- 51:56[SPEAKER_02]: She's not claiming it like Lisa did before she walked out.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_02]: But Candace has a lot of heat.
- 52:02[SPEAKER_02]: And it's really the first reality show.
- 52:05[SPEAKER_02]: Y'all, even sports show personalities that are just taking an aside to talk about this.
- 52:11[SPEAKER_02]: They're interrupting your program and to talk about the Super Bowl to be like, are you all watching the traders?
- 52:16[SPEAKER_02]: Anyone who competes?
- 52:18[SPEAKER_02]: Rob is being put on a competitive reality TV show, legitimately pedestal.
- 52:23[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that I have not seen as a competitive reality slut certified.
- 52:30[SPEAKER_02]: Rob has my full attention.
- 52:32[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I cannot believe it.
- 52:34[SPEAKER_01]: I just saw.
- 52:35[SPEAKER_02]: I just saw Yeramy.
- 52:38[SPEAKER_02]: drag Olivia up a mountain as a face and win the challenge and Rob is a little bit more impressive to me at this point and it's unbelievable.
- 52:50[SPEAKER_02]: But what's so fun too is that I think Rob, he would be getting the respect to the competitive reality TV people.
- 52:56[SPEAKER_02]: But they kind of are like, it's not a cheap claim of him because I guess you could call Love Island competitive reality TV.
- 53:03[SPEAKER_02]: He's also perfect for this.
- 53:04[SPEAKER_02]: What a perfect champion.
- 53:06[SPEAKER_02]: This guy who's in the middle, because part of what this is with Robin, so impressive, is it's a surprise to an extent for whatever reason, not because you just can't be some dumb hick.
- 53:17[SPEAKER_02]: But it's like, wait, what?
- 53:19[SPEAKER_02]: The love Island people are just
- 53:24[SPEAKER_01]: I was disappointed when they picked the traders this season.
- 53:27[SPEAKER_01]: Like when they first announced the traders, I was like, oh man, it's kind of all like Bravoey.
- 53:32[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 53:32[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't seem like there's a thinker.
- 53:33[SPEAKER_01]: Like it doesn't seem like there's going to be strategy.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_01]: It's just going to be like, no you.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_01]: But Rob, Rob has blown me away.
- 53:41[SPEAKER_02]: To be fair, and I would do want to give credit to Candice, who is thinking and plotting.
- 53:45[SPEAKER_02]: Sure, and so on.
- 53:45[SPEAKER_02]: She's planting these seeds about it, you know,
- 53:49[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's kind of odd.
- 53:50[SPEAKER_02]: It is odd, isn't it the him, you know, him and Colton work together and I feel like she's doing so well.
- 53:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 53:55[SPEAKER_02]: So it is this perfect, I think we're about to see this proxy war between the two traders.
- 54:01[SPEAKER_02]: We're neither of them wants to be the one to bring up the other one, but they're going to try and lay the groundwork for other faithfuls to catch the other person and it's just going to be like, who's better at rallying their people without having the
- 54:16[SPEAKER_02]: Well, who started the idea?
- 54:17[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I heard it from Colton.
- 54:19[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but Rob's the one that told me like they want to avoid that conversation It's so interesting way a season of traders could go for sure.
- 54:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it was like we're we're using the faithfuls as our meat shields to try and get each other out Yeah, I mean, that's amazing.
- 54:33[SPEAKER_02]: It's sort of like John Wick in that nightclub with the silenced pistols where they're just shooting in each other while the music plays
- 54:39[SPEAKER_02]: I had someone, I had read a take that someone had that was like, okay, I don't know if this was as calculated as it could appear, but Candace going ahead and just quote unquote wasting a vote on Rob.
- 54:51[SPEAKER_02]: Yep, does.
- 54:52[SPEAKER_02]: I think it is going off.
- 54:54[SPEAKER_02]: enough to be able to be like, well, let me tell you why.
- 54:57[SPEAKER_02]: Like, she just kind of 100% a lot easier to start to talk about him because you voted for him at the round table than to just bring Rob up out of nowhere.
- 55:06[SPEAKER_02]: Then I think I think what she did and I fully believe this is calculate she is on top of it.
- 55:11[SPEAKER_02]: So I have no problem believing that this is on purpose.
- 55:13[SPEAKER_02]: It's a little bit mutually assured destruction.
- 55:16[SPEAKER_02]: Because the Jack, okay, well, we got Lisa and then if we immediately get Candace, well, who did she say last Rob?
- 55:20[SPEAKER_02]: Why?
- 55:20[SPEAKER_02]: Was that a warning shot?
- 55:22[SPEAKER_02]: Was that her being like, don't mess with me?
- 55:23[SPEAKER_02]: So like, I think it was very calculated that she threw quote unquote through her guess away on Rob.
- 55:29[SPEAKER_02]: And if I'm Rob, I'm panicked about that.
- 55:31[SPEAKER_02]: Which he is said like, yeah, okay, it's on.
- 55:34[SPEAKER_02]: But that's that's very scary.
- 55:36[SPEAKER_02]: And I do want to say, you know, as we're kind of coming to a close here, I want to utilize Lisa Rina for just a minute, because
- 55:43[SPEAKER_02]: That's how you leave this game as a trader.
- 55:46[SPEAKER_02]: She knew that people wanted their moment.
- 55:48[SPEAKER_02]: So she gave them the, you gotta trade her.
- 55:51[SPEAKER_02]: She marched herself off that set with all that attitude in the world and then in her interview, her talking head interview at the end she was just like, I have loved this experience.
- 56:02[SPEAKER_02]: I loved playing.
- 56:03[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 56:03[SPEAKER_02]: I'm so glad I get a chance to like come in and be Lisa Renna come in and like do my thing.
- 56:09[SPEAKER_02]: And I think that she was just a phenomenal choice for a trader that I didn't know would be phenomenal.
- 56:14[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 56:15[SPEAKER_02]: And so it's just that's how you leave this show for sure.
- 56:18[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, I think in the what he thinks is the middle of it all, but as actually now officially the periphery, the coltine of it all to just.
- 56:27[SPEAKER_02]: Expect people to celebrate him after Lisa leaves.
- 56:31[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, dude.
- 56:31[SPEAKER_02]: He's such a dirty guy.
- 56:33[SPEAKER_02]: Which Rob is the only reason she's gone.
- 56:38[SPEAKER_02]: But he's like, I told him to be so confidently and correct him down to the next limb being.
- 56:42[SPEAKER_02]: Go ahead.
- 56:44[SPEAKER_02]: Just his next call shot is so confident and also incorrect that he's just like, he's like, now that I've got their trail, I know exactly what it's going to be and I'll tell you.
- 56:52[SPEAKER_02]: I'll tell you exactly.
- 56:53[SPEAKER_02]: Like it's so funny, dude.
- 56:55[SPEAKER_02]: A guy, yes, to tell a gold medalist, like, we're pretty much the same.
- 57:00[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think he played football for 14 years.
- 57:02[SPEAKER_02]: He's never been professional.
- 57:04[SPEAKER_02]: That just means he played from seven to like,
- 57:08[SPEAKER_02]: 21.
- 57:09[SPEAKER_02]: He played into college and didn't even finish there, you know, right.
- 57:12[SPEAKER_02]: I played football for a genius.
- 57:14[SPEAKER_02]: Like, didn't he not ever play in the NFL?
- 57:16[SPEAKER_02]: No, this dark dude, you can't claim to be your claim to fame can't be football player unless you like want a college national championship or something.
- 57:26[SPEAKER_02]: No, yeah.
- 57:28[SPEAKER_02]: At this point, you're just famous for jumping offence and stalking.
- 57:32[SPEAKER_02]: Um, yeah, this season is phenomenal.
- 57:34[SPEAKER_02]: I can't believe we're this far in and it's still this good.
- 57:36[SPEAKER_02]: That has not been the case since the first season.
- 57:38[SPEAKER_02]: Give me a lot of hope.
- 57:39[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like they've figured out some balance, which, you know, we've said, okay, she was he played for the, he played for the Vegas Raiders.
- 57:46[SPEAKER_02]: He was on their like practice squad.
- 57:48[SPEAKER_02]: So he got, okay, the NFL for just a little bit.
- 57:50[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, good for him.
- 57:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, practice squad practice practice.
- 57:53[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, if, if you was like,
- 57:55[SPEAKER_02]: You know, we've talked about the show desperately needs a revamp in terms of balance.
- 57:59[SPEAKER_02]: It needs to be a little easier to be a trader and a little harder to be a faithful.
- 58:02[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like they have struck that balance.
- 58:04[SPEAKER_02]: I actually feel like we've talked about it.
- 58:06[SPEAKER_02]: The secret trader thing is a good twist if they pick better.
- 58:08[SPEAKER_02]: Donna Kelsey was a hero.
- 58:09[SPEAKER_01]: It's great.
- 58:10[SPEAKER_01]: Donna Kelsey was a bad call.
- 58:11[SPEAKER_01]: I think the traders,
- 58:12[SPEAKER_01]: what I am learning about it is that it has more in common with big brother than survivor.
- 58:17[SPEAKER_01]: Where it's like the game itself.
- 58:19[SPEAKER_01]: The game itself is pretty good, but the game itself is not going to be enough to keep me invested unless they just knock it out of the park with casting.
- 58:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think they did that this season.
- 58:29[SPEAKER_01]: No, that's incredibly fair.
- 58:30[SPEAKER_02]: I think I agree.
- 58:32[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, what a great cast.
- 58:33[SPEAKER_02]: What great traders.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_02]: What great TV.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_02]: This is this is so much fun.
- 58:36[SPEAKER_02]: I'm still
- 58:42[SPEAKER_02]: Um, good job traders.
- 58:44[SPEAKER_02]: Great job Alan.
- 58:45[SPEAKER_02]: Thanks, Peacock.
- 58:46[SPEAKER_02]: Good stuff.
- 58:47[SPEAKER_01]: We know you listen.
- 58:48[SPEAKER_01]: Alan.
- 58:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 58:50[SPEAKER_01]: We're big.
- 58:50[SPEAKER_01]: We're really proud of you.
- 58:51[SPEAKER_01]: Hit us up again.
- 58:52[SPEAKER_02]: If you ever need any advice, we'd be happy to offer it.
- 58:54[SPEAKER_02]: Um, always know you could do it.
- 58:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 58:56[SPEAKER_02]: Well, definitely keep talking about the traders.
- 58:58[SPEAKER_02]: Um, until until that's done, that should lead us straight into survivor 50.
- 59:02[SPEAKER_02]: So we're getting good.
- 59:03[SPEAKER_02]: We are getting very much so good today.
- 59:06[SPEAKER_02]: Today's episode.
- 59:07[SPEAKER_02]: I'd like for each of us to say our name and who from this cast?
- 59:10[SPEAKER_02]: Let's say two each.
- 59:11[SPEAKER_02]: Who from this cast would we nominate for a Trader's all-star season?
- 59:15[SPEAKER_02]: Let's say faithful.
- 59:16[SPEAKER_02]: Let's do faithful each that we would nominate to come back for like a Trader's all-star season.
- 59:22[SPEAKER_02]: So far.
- 59:24[SPEAKER_02]: For two chunks, I'm Jordan.
- 59:27[SPEAKER_02]: I'm thinking for me, I gotta, I gotta see Rob C get to actually play the game.
- 59:33[SPEAKER_02]: I'd like to see Session, you know, get to actually play the game, but I'm not gonna pick him because I don't feel like he paid his dues this season and has earned the right to come back.
- 59:40[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm gonna say, give me Jam Jam one more time and also give me Monet exchange.
- 59:47[SPEAKER_02]: The show, the one, the one vacuum of personality here that has really been left has been Monet.
- 59:52[SPEAKER_02]: Monet leaving was a huge dip in personality power.
- 59:56[SPEAKER_02]: So I think I'm going Jam Jam and Monet exchange.
- 59:59[SPEAKER_01]: I'm Dosh, I was gonna say Jam Jam and Monet as well.
- 1:00:02[SPEAKER_01]: Man, because when I think of this season, like one of the presences that looms quite large is Colton, but I think that I've seen all the game that Colton has here.
- 1:00:11[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want Colton to come into an all-star season and do the same thing again.
- 1:00:14[SPEAKER_01]: I think the interesting players that have more game to play are Jam Jam and Monet exchange.
- 1:00:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 1:00:21[SPEAKER_02]: I would, I'm Carter, and let's go ahead.

- 1:00:34[SPEAKER_02]: Him and Tara.
- 1:00:36[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't even know they knew each other.
- 1:00:38[SPEAKER_02]: Wow.
- 1:00:39[SPEAKER_02]: Are going to be commentating for figure skating for the Winter Olympics?
- 1:00:42[SPEAKER_02]: Shut up in BC.

- 1:00:46[SPEAKER_02]: It's good you're to be Johnny.
- 1:00:49[SPEAKER_02]: as much as people hate it.
- 1:00:52[SPEAKER_02]: If you bring rap a poor back.
- 1:00:54[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

- 1:01:07[SPEAKER_01]: I haven't seen him bring him back.
- 1:01:09[SPEAKER_01]: His back has been upturned.
- 1:01:10[SPEAKER_02]: Here's the thing.
- 1:01:11[SPEAKER_02]: I'm only here.
- 1:01:11[SPEAKER_02]: It doesn't matter if he gets out in the first episode because people like please can we just get him out of here?
- 1:01:16[SPEAKER_02]: It's this.
- 1:01:17[SPEAKER_02]: It's what we're talking about right now.
- 1:01:18[SPEAKER_02]: If you say that he is on an all-star season, there's going to be so much conversation online before we even get there that it's good for the show.
- 1:01:27[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just thinking of what's good for the show.
- 1:01:29[SPEAKER_02]: Fair enough.
- 1:01:30[SPEAKER_02]: Fair enough for the game.
- 1:01:32[SPEAKER_02]: Good for the show.
