- 1:11Speaker 2: that would elevate you to a point where you're like, damn,
- 1:13Speaker 2: this person does more than my own my own dad,
- 1:17Speaker 2: but this person does more than my cousin. This person
- 1:19Speaker 2: does more. Guys, I don't have a dad, I don't
- 1:22Speaker 2: have a father. My mom's getting divorced from my stepdad again.
- 1:25Speaker 2: So that's two dads in my life that am I
- 1:27Speaker 2: gonna make excuse? Am I gonna cry about it? Yeah?
- 1:28Speaker 2: I cry about it. I get help whatever the case is.
- 1:30Speaker 2: But am I gonna Is that gonna prevent me from
- 1:32Speaker 2: doing what I gotta do? No, if you guys lose
- 1:34Speaker 2: a friend, if you guys go through a divorce, if
- 1:36Speaker 2: you guys go through a loss, if you guys go
- 1:38Speaker 2: through a separation, don't let that deter you from doing
- 1:40Speaker 2: what your ultimately to have to do. Look, I'm at
- 1:42Speaker 2: twelve years. I try to I try to commit suicide
- 1:45Speaker 2: years ago. What would have happened if I did that?
- 1:48Speaker 2: You know what I mean? I still battle it. But guys,
- 1:50Speaker 2: if you're not ready to handle what comes with being
- 1:54Speaker 2: in business for ten years, fifteen years, then stop. Go
- 1:57Speaker 2: back to you nine to five, go back to what
- 1:59Speaker 2: you're doing right now, and be like, you know what
- 2:01Speaker 2: I want the education, But you know what, I'm not
- 2:02Speaker 2: ready to make this leap yet. I'm not ready to
- 2:04Speaker 2: go into this area of my life where I'm going
- 2:07Speaker 2: to lose friends and and God is going to test
- 2:10Speaker 2: me in a way. I'm not I'm not. I'm not religious,
- 2:12Speaker 2: but I'm very spiritual. I'm wholeheartly believe in in having
- 2:16Speaker 2: a higher power, in God and believing that things are
- 2:19Speaker 2: meant to be you speaking into existence. Like there's things
- 2:23Speaker 2: in life that if you don't speak it into existence,
- 2:25Speaker 2: it's never gonna happen. You guys know about me, I'm
- 2:27Speaker 2: not cocky. I'm not. I'm not I'm not conceited. I'm
- 2:30Speaker 2: actually a little bit unsure of myself. I'm always nervous
- 2:32Speaker 2: when I speak. But that's okay because that's the credit dude,
- 2:35Speaker 2: you know what I mean. Like, I'm not going to
- 2:36Speaker 2: go up there and start flashing and black. That's not me.
- 2:38Speaker 2: But I'm telling you guys right now, whatever industry you're
- 2:41Speaker 2: trying to do, right, if your credit is messed up,
- 2:44Speaker 2: don't let your credit being messed up to tear you
- 2:46Speaker 2: from starting that business. Because I started the business with
- 2:50Speaker 2: a little bit of credit. And if I'll bankruptcy a year,
- 2:52Speaker 2: like a year after I quit my job, and for
- 2:55Speaker 2: five years I had bankrupcy in my credit report, you
- 2:57Speaker 2: know what I mean. So don't look at things like
- 3:02Speaker 2: you might have to leave this behind and get back
- 3:04Speaker 2: to it later, you know what I mean. You know what, guys,
- 3:06Speaker 2: I would have to leave my family in the back
- 3:07Speaker 2: burner for a little bit. Not immediate family, but like
- 3:10Speaker 2: my friends and everybody everybody at the club, pop and
- 3:13Speaker 2: bottle like guys, truth be told, swear to God all
- 3:16Speaker 2: my life. My first pair of Jordans that I bought
- 3:20Speaker 2: was for the Jacob Javic Center seminar. I think that
- 3:23Speaker 2: was December of twenty nineteen. That was my first pair
- 3:25Speaker 2: of Jordan's, first pair of air Jordans. And I didn't
- 3:28Speaker 2: even buy my wife did. I said, what are you doing?
- 3:30Speaker 2: You crazy? Are you crazy? But yet everybody that I see,
- 3:34Speaker 2: oh they got Jordans, but they got a five sixty
- 3:36Speaker 2: credit score. Like I literally was that person that was like,
- 3:38Speaker 2: I'm not buying any pair of Jordans because I don't
- 3:41Speaker 2: deserve it. You know what I mean. You're going into
- 3:43Speaker 2: a relationship, You're going into a marriage, You're going into
- 3:45Speaker 2: something like it was in the Breakfast Covey to day.
- 3:47Speaker 2: It was crazy. It was like, if you don't have
- 3:48Speaker 2: at least twenty five thousand dollars in the bank, you
- 3:50Speaker 2: shouldn't be with them. You shouldn't. What can you offer?
- 3:53Speaker 2: It makes sense to a certain extent, you know what
- 3:56Speaker 2: I mean. But you have to understand, like you are
- 4:00Speaker 2: are in control of every single Yeah. T. K. Kirkland
- 4:03Speaker 2: was the one that said it, so you guys can
- 4:04Speaker 2: check that out. The thing is, guys, you're in control
- 4:06Speaker 2: of everything in your life. Guys. My mom was the
- 4:08Speaker 2: one that told me, oh, you're crazy for starting your business.
- 4:11Speaker 1: You you.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Have health insurance with the government. What is wrong with you? Right?
- 4:16Speaker 2: And now we provide one hundred percent health insurance for
- 4:19Speaker 2: all our employees. You understand what I'm saying. It's like
- 4:22Speaker 2: I'm paying my momself. Like it's not to brag. I'll
- 4:24Speaker 2: say that here. I want to say that like on
- 4:26Speaker 2: instagrammer you too, because the people look at it. I'm
- 4:27Speaker 2: not bragging, but I'm just letting you know that your
- 4:30Speaker 2: parents never going to have bad intentions for you. They're
- 4:32Speaker 2: always going to want to play it safe. You know
- 4:34Speaker 2: what I mean. When I went to the breakfast club,
- 4:36Speaker 2: as I mentioned my dad, my dad said, He's like, yeah, man,
- 4:40Speaker 2: you know, just know that I always knew you were
- 4:42Speaker 2: going to be great because my blood runs through you,
- 4:45Speaker 2: and I knew you were going to be great. So
- 4:47Speaker 2: just don't forget where you got this idea from, because
- 4:50Speaker 2: if it wasn't for me, you wouldn't be here. Like
- 4:53Speaker 2: what type of person speaks that way? You didn't see
- 4:57Speaker 2: what I'm saying? So for me, am I at a
- 4:58Speaker 2: loss with my dad. I'm a block my dad. I
- 5:00Speaker 2: don't I don't I let him. I let him hit
- 5:02Speaker 2: me up. Hit me up, bro, Like, at least, at
- 5:05Speaker 2: least I know you're alive. That's how I know my
- 5:06Speaker 2: dad's alive when he hit me up for money. You
- 5:08Speaker 2: know what I mean? I can take that in soul.
- 5:10Speaker 3: It can be.
- 5:10Speaker 2: I'm like, listen, I've got bigger problems. I got a payroll,

- 10:17Speaker 3: That's the mayor of Atlantic City, that's the mayor of

- 10:35Speaker 2: if you can do Turo bakery business like, you know,
- 10:38Speaker 2: remove Turo and Airbnb because obviously a lot of people
- 10:41Speaker 2: think that Turo and Airbnb are one of the only
- 10:43Speaker 2: ways that can really make money. I have a personal
- 10:45Speaker 2: friend of mine, I grew up with her. Guys, she
- 10:47Speaker 2: owns a bakery company. Look her up Pretty Pops by
- 10:50Speaker 2: Jackie on Instagram. She left for nine to five. She
- 10:53Speaker 2: has three kids, and she has an amazing bakery business.
- 10:57Speaker 2: She was one of my first clients. She's getting approof
- 10:59Speaker 2: of credit left them right. She's like, oh my god,
- 11:01Speaker 2: I can't believe it. She started like a few years
- 11:04Speaker 2: after me, and she's like, I'm so glad I didn't
- 11:06Speaker 2: give up. I'm so glad you told me to stay,
- 11:09Speaker 2: tried to stand, you know. And now she's she's booked
- 11:12Speaker 2: out until April. It's February. She's booked out until April
- 11:16Speaker 2: with orders for for like what is it, the March,
- 11:21Speaker 2: marchild baby, Saint Patrick's Day, Valentine's Day, you know what
- 11:24Speaker 2: I mean? Like Easter, your Easter too, Like she's booked out,

- 11:37Speaker 2: what you got. And that's what I'm before I get
- 11:38Speaker 2: into my speech today. And you you have to make
- 11:41Speaker 2: it to where you would be the worst employee for
- 11:43Speaker 2: a company, right, you have to make yourself unemployable. You
- 11:47Speaker 2: gotta work the fifteen sixteen seventeen eighteen hours a day.
- 11:50Speaker 2: An employer's even be like, yoh man, you're working too
- 11:52Speaker 2: much overtime. I gotta let you go. You're costing me
- 11:53Speaker 2: too much money. But make that yourself. You know what
- 11:56Speaker 2: I mean. I would rather work eighty nineties dred hours
- 12:00Speaker 2: a week than to work for the government. Again. I
- 12:02Speaker 2: know what it's like being ONNED. I know what it's
- 12:04Speaker 2: like being in prison. I know what it's like being
- 12:05Speaker 2: on by the military, and I know what it's like
- 12:07Speaker 2: being on by the government. Because it's two different things,
- 12:09Speaker 2: you know. I mean, you have the military, yet that
- 12:10Speaker 2: I used to work for the government as well. You
- 12:12Speaker 2: have to realize, guys, get yourself to a point where
- 12:15Speaker 2: you are unemployable, and that is how you know you
- 12:18Speaker 2: will never fail at what you do.
- 12:21Speaker 1: You just realized your business needed to hire someone yesterday.
