- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you, thank you for listening to Ryan
- 0:05Speaker 1: Air on Air on Air with a Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Because I'm doom scrolling. There's an app to help you
- 0:13Speaker 2: stop doom scrolling.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Now. Technically, doom scrolling.
- 0:17Speaker 3: Is when you just go down the whole like and
- 0:22Speaker 3: you just never come back, and it could be an hour,
- 0:25Speaker 3: maybe even more for some people of just scrolling and
- 0:27Speaker 3: scrolling and scrolling on TikTok Instagram.
- 0:31Speaker 1: It's amazing how we just get sucked into it.
- 0:33Speaker 3: You get sucked into your own algorithm, whether it's dog
- 0:36Speaker 3: videos or thrift halls, get ready with me, like all
- 0:39Speaker 3: that stuff and you just for me. It's like diy
- 0:42Speaker 3: house stuff. Yeah, And so you just get stuck into it.
- 0:46Speaker 1: So there's an app to help you stop now. It's
- 0:48Speaker 1: called the one sec App.
- 0:50Speaker 3: I haven't tried this app, and I'm more I read
- 0:52Speaker 3: about it, I'm like, man, maybe I should. You do
- 0:53Speaker 3: have to pay for it, I think it's like twenty
- 0:56Speaker 3: bucks for the year, so it's not completely like that expensive,
- 0:59Speaker 3: but it for you to take a quick pause before
- 1:02Speaker 3: opening up those addictive apps. So literally it's just a
- 1:06Speaker 3: few seconds and it tells you to breathe, so you
- 1:09Speaker 3: don't fall straight into the scroll because I feel like
- 1:11Speaker 3: for some of us, you pick up your phone to
- 1:13Speaker 3: text a friend back or to just see your text messages,
- 1:15Speaker 3: and then you went into something. Yeah, you get into
- 1:18Speaker 3: your doom scrolling and you even mean to do that.
- 1:21Speaker 1: All you want to do is just text somebody back.
- 1:23Speaker 3: So it breaks that reflex of opening up your phone
- 1:25Speaker 3: without thinking. Half the time after the pause, you apparently
- 1:29Speaker 3: didn't even want to open Instagram anymore at all. Plus
- 1:32Speaker 3: it shows you how many times you've stopped yourself and
- 1:35Speaker 3: how much screen time that you've saved, which can be
- 1:38Speaker 3: a little motivating.
- 1:39Speaker 1: So that's the one sec app.
- 1:41Speaker 2: All right, the one sec sec app if you want
- 1:44Speaker 2: to check it out.
- 1:44Speaker 1: But it's kind of cool.
- 1:45Speaker 3: I put some of the screenshots on here for you
- 1:47Speaker 3: can so you can check out what they look like.
- 1:49Speaker 3: And so it would be something like, okay, it's time
- 1:52Speaker 3: to take a breath, and then it would be like,
- 1:54Speaker 3: what's your intention of opening Instagram this time?
- 1:57Speaker 1: Oh? Caught? Like a feeling caught? Right? Are you bored
- 2:01Speaker 1: to escape or avoid something? Entertainment? What are you running from?
- 2:06Speaker 4: Right?
- 2:06Speaker 5: Well, I'm just like sitting at the vet waiting.
- 2:08Speaker 1: For my dog like read a book.
- 2:12Speaker 3: The other ones are five attempts to open Instagram within
- 2:15Speaker 3: twenty four hours. Last years was eleven hours ago. So
- 2:18Speaker 3: it told you last sid it's a gamekeeper, it's a referee,
- 2:21Speaker 3: it's a job. So you can click right there. I
- 2:23Speaker 3: don't want to open Instagram and then it'll shut the
- 2:25Speaker 3: app down.
- 2:26Speaker 2: I love I actually quite love it, because you're right,
- 2:28Speaker 2: I will open stuff up. I don't even realize i'm
- 2:31Speaker 2: opening it up, like I'm just like, I'm not imaginally grabbing,
- 2:34Speaker 2: reaching for it, opening stuff, checking stuff, opening stuff.
- 2:37Speaker 3: Yeah, so I went in to see I'm like, okay,
- 2:39Speaker 3: how much do I spend on social media?
- 2:42Speaker 1: I checked mine.
- 2:43Speaker 3: My average was an hour and twenty two minutes a
- 2:46Speaker 3: day on social media.
- 2:49Speaker 5: That's low.
- 2:50Speaker 1: What is yours?
- 2:51Speaker 5: I have no idea, but I'm sure it's high.
- 2:53Speaker 1: She doesn't want to know. You don't want to know.
- 2:56Speaker 6: Well, I don't want to get this app, because that's
- 2:57Speaker 6: how the whole thing starts with me. I have to read,
- 3:00Speaker 6: do my Apple, I upload my Gmail password, my screen time, Oh,
- 3:05Speaker 6: it'll pop right up.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Well, they do this fun activity.
- 3:08Speaker 2: We will take a quick break and coming up we'll
- 3:11Speaker 2: find out how much screen time, Tony has both of
- 3:14Speaker 2: you tab Actually, well, you have to tell me how
- 3:15Speaker 2: to find that.
- 3:16Speaker 1: It's pretty easy, Tony. You were checking your screen time,
- 3:18Speaker 1: what'd you find?
- 3:20Speaker 6: I'm in my social media apps an hour and fifty
- 3:23Speaker 6: two minutes, okay, which seems kind of low for me.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Honestly, it's two hours a day, Tony, Tony, it's a lot.
- 3:31Speaker 1: I'm in my settings. It doesn't give me any information. Yeah,
- 3:34Speaker 1: I don't know what your screen is. It says screen
- 3:36Speaker 1: time get insights, but there's no insights. Does it then?
- 3:39Speaker 1: Know where to click? No?
- 3:41Speaker 2: I mean I can click. It's have to set it
- 3:43Speaker 2: up or something. Yeah, I'll let two point seven. It's
- 3:48Speaker 2: kiss FM. So this is big on TikTok. Mikayla's going
- 3:50Speaker 2: to help us with this because this was her idea
- 3:52Speaker 2: to bring to the show. She recorded herself singing backwards
- 3:55Speaker 2: reverse singing. It's challenging and people are having fun doing it. So, Mikaitla,
- 3:59Speaker 2: what did you do? Actually boys backwards?
- 4:01Speaker 7: Yes, yep, I sang it and uh.
- 4:05Speaker 1: What do you do? How do you do it?
- 4:07Speaker 7: So basically, you pick a song, like a sentence from
- 4:10Speaker 7: a song, you sing it and then it reverses it backwards.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Sing it backwards.
- 4:15Speaker 2: You you were You don't have to sing it live backwards,
- 4:18Speaker 2: it's just you reverse the audio.
- 4:19Speaker 7: You reverse the audio first, but then there's someone else
- 4:22Speaker 7: that has to sing it backwards to try to get
- 4:24Speaker 7: it to sound correct.
- 4:25Speaker 3: So you sing it backwards when you hear it, and
- 4:28Speaker 3: then you play that backwards and then that is technically
- 4:30Speaker 3: in the real.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Way to hear it. So here's the song that way?
- 4:39Speaker 1: Then you did this?
- 4:39Speaker 5: I want it that way.
- 4:43Speaker 1: That's pretty good. Let's go to the judges on that one.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Why do it cringe? That's harsh? That was so good?
- 4:50Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 4:51Speaker 5: That wasn't the best?
- 4:52Speaker 1: Say it's not for me?
- 4:54Speaker 8: Uh?
- 4:54Speaker 1: I mean this is the reverse trend? Okay? Right?
- 4:58Speaker 5: Hey, no where.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Are you singing that? Or did they? That's reversed? Yeah?
- 5:07Speaker 1: Automatic with the machine? Okay, God, So now we have
- 5:10Speaker 1: to all.
- 5:10Speaker 3: Take to try to take a shop re reenacting that. Basically,
- 5:14Speaker 3: can I hear it again?
- 5:16Speaker 1: Which do you want to hear? The reverse? The reverse?
- 5:21Speaker 7: Hey, no, you don't have to do that.
- 5:25Speaker 1: You have to sing it then we reverse c one.
- 5:32Speaker 1: This is a trend. He' no, now you're right? No where?
- 5:45Speaker 2: Hey, no language?
- 5:53Speaker 1: Why is this popular.
- 5:56Speaker 3: I watched so many of these videos because they're hysterical.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Me, why tell me why?
- 6:02Speaker 2: Two point seven? It's kiss off, m stick around because
- 6:05Speaker 2: we are not going on this.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Morning, all right.
- 6:07Speaker 2: So Mikayla has a great idea. How can you go
- 6:10Speaker 2: another day without participting this TikTok trend? What reverse singing?
- 6:13Speaker 1: What is it?
- 6:14Speaker 2: Well, you sing a song in reverse and then we
- 6:17Speaker 2: flip it to forward and see if you got it right. So,
- 6:19Speaker 2: for example, the backshi voice, she chose this way and
- 6:26Speaker 2: then she sang it like.
- 6:28Speaker 7: This, I want it that way.
- 6:34Speaker 9: Then it gets reversed like this, Hey.
- 6:38Speaker 1: No, will are we trying to mimic it?
- 6:42Speaker 2: We sang reverse and now we're gonna flip it forward
- 6:46Speaker 2: to see if we got close to correct correct. Here
- 6:50Speaker 2: we go, this is sisiny backwards cue.
- 6:56Speaker 1: One. So she did that live.
- 6:58Speaker 5: Oh that was the reverse like this is not?
- 7:02Speaker 1: No, that was.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Now we flipped it automatically forwards to see if we
- 7:06Speaker 2: get the correct version.
- 7:07Speaker 1: And here is the automatic flip No on, isn't it
- 7:15Speaker 1: the same?
- 7:16Speaker 8: Is that?
- 7:16Speaker 1: Every time I see it online like they nail it, Like.
- 7:19Speaker 2: How was that actually reversed automatically? That sounded like the original.
- 7:26Speaker 2: So Tanya live sang based on what she heard Live
- 7:30Speaker 2: sang the Backstreet Boys, I want it that way backwards.
- 7:34Speaker 1: He that was live earlier.
- 7:39Speaker 2: Now we automatically played it forward to see if she
- 7:42Speaker 2: says the English words.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't want to play mine. I feel like
- 7:56Speaker 1: yours might be the closest out of all of ours.
- 7:57Speaker 2: At this point, it's impossible. So all right, is it
- 8:00Speaker 2: TikTok trend? So here's me live singing what I think
- 8:05Speaker 2: is the reverse of the Backstreet Boys.
- 8:07Speaker 1: I want it that way.
- 8:09Speaker 2: Hey, No, here's this I'm about to play supposed to
- 8:14Speaker 2: be this, and here we go.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Oh you know where we went wrong on him? We
- 8:27Speaker 1: tried to sing it in the in the eye want.
- 8:30Speaker 5: Were singing it in the way the way.
- 8:32Speaker 1: And that's what happened. Accept the challenge and let's go
- 8:35Speaker 1: one more time. This trend.
- 8:43Speaker 5: Loves it.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Love this trend.
- 8:46Speaker 2: Try it yourself, send us talk back of you doing it.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Pick a song again. I have the equipment to reverse it,
- 8:51Speaker 2: and maybe you can do it your phone. Two point
- 8:53Speaker 2: seven kiss FM seacrest with you, Tanya Sicity in the
- 8:58Speaker 2: back room. I got Abby on the phone. Abby, you
- 9:00Speaker 2: say your husband, Hi, your husband got.
- 9:03Speaker 1: You a what.
- 9:06Speaker 8: An old dog?
- 9:09Speaker 1: And what's the problem.
- 9:10Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, Well, basically, I've wanted a dog for so
- 9:15Speaker 8: long and I've been trying to convince him, and he
- 9:17Speaker 8: finally caved, but instead of picking out a puppy or
- 9:21Speaker 8: like even just a younger dog altogether, he surprised me
- 9:26Speaker 8: and came home with a really sick, old senior dog.
- 9:31Speaker 8: And like his reasoning was just that every dog needs
- 9:34Speaker 8: a home, which I completely respect and I agree with
- 9:36Speaker 8: one hundred percent. But I'm struggling, and perhaps I'm overthinking it.
- 9:41Speaker 8: But I'm just wondering if maybe he picked a senior
- 9:45Speaker 8: dog on purpose that we wouldn't like have to be
- 9:48Speaker 8: responsible for it for as long. Like he gave me
- 9:51Speaker 8: what I wanted, but in a really temporary way, and
- 9:54Speaker 8: I feel really like bad and.
- 9:56Speaker 2: Guilty even saying that, I'm just thinking about your car
- 9:59Speaker 2: after that, I'm just thinking about your car, even if
- 10:03Speaker 2: you feel dog, saying it's another step.
- 10:08Speaker 1: It's a senior sick dog.
- 10:10Speaker 6: She's not upset about love dog, She's not upset about
- 10:13Speaker 6: the dog. She's upset about the frame of mind that
- 10:17Speaker 6: maybe her boyfriend is in thinking that maybe it's a
- 10:20Speaker 6: temporary relationship and he doesn't want to stick around for
- 10:22Speaker 6: too long.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Is overthinking it's her husband and maybe he doesn't want
- 10:27Speaker 2: to stick around.
- 10:28Speaker 1: But still that's also dark.
- 10:29Speaker 2: But Abby, we can't think of ourselves in this situation.
- 10:33Speaker 2: The dog is now with you. The dog needs your love.
- 10:37Speaker 2: The dog needs to feel love. We can't think about
- 10:39Speaker 2: this other stuff.
- 10:40Speaker 3: He give me the dog. I'll take the dog. I
- 10:42Speaker 3: just lost one of my dogs.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Either.
- 10:48Speaker 8: And I know I sound ungrateful or like hurtless, but
- 10:51Speaker 8: you know, I don't know or.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Ungrateful, just not.
- 10:55Speaker 3: I just think it's not what you had in your
- 10:57Speaker 3: mind of your story.
- 11:00Speaker 1: Just you got to take yourself out. It is the dog.
- 11:03Speaker 8: I'm also I'm trying to figure out how to wrap
- 11:07Speaker 8: my head around like being a new dog mom. But
- 11:09Speaker 8: also the loss might become coming a lot sooner than
- 11:12Speaker 8: I don't even.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Worry about that right now.
- 11:17Speaker 2: If you are not going to love this dog, Abby,
- 11:19Speaker 2: there are people that will love this dog.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Please love this dog. If not, please call us. We
- 11:23Speaker 1: will find this dog a home.
- 11:27Speaker 5: I love the dog.
- 11:28Speaker 1: That's not the problem. There's no problem. Got to move forward.
- 11:33Speaker 2: Yes, this is your life now. The universe brought this
- 11:36Speaker 2: dog to you for some reason.
- 11:39Speaker 1: What's the dog's name?
- 11:42Speaker 10: His name is buddy.
- 11:43Speaker 1: Buddy. Yeah, everybody needs a buddy, all right?
- 11:49Speaker 2: Yeah, Abby, thank you for your honesty, but go love
- 11:52Speaker 2: the dog.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Thank you, guys, you're welcome. Yeah, you can't say that's
- 12:01Speaker 1: sick dog, send picks. Why can't you take pictures of
- 12:04Speaker 1: the dog? No?
- 12:05Speaker 2: No, I feel bad that she's feeling that way. I
- 12:09Speaker 2: went the dog to find the love. So Abby, you
- 12:11Speaker 2: have our number? Yes, overthinking it? You're on kiss La.
- 12:17Speaker 2: Alex in Venice has reached out in need of some help.
- 12:20Speaker 2: So Alex, let me run this by everybody. She was
- 12:24Speaker 2: rollerblading down the beach in Venice. Second date update here,
- 12:28Speaker 2: and you were jogging so you kept up with her
- 12:31Speaker 2: for as long as you could. Wow, that's nice.
- 12:33Speaker 1: Good on you.
- 12:34Speaker 2: After three miles he kept up at a rollerblade pace
- 12:37Speaker 2: for three miles. She stopped. She said, Okay, I'm impressed.
- 12:40Speaker 2: That's cute. So into this story. We had two dates.
- 12:44Speaker 2: The second date, she spent the night at your place, Alex.
- 12:51Speaker 1: True yeah yeah, yeah, yes, yeah, so what went wrong?
- 12:55Speaker 1: Why don't you woke up the next morning? What happened?
- 12:58Speaker 10: So?
- 12:58Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 12:59Speaker 11: I mean yeah, we like I said roller or she
- 13:02Speaker 11: was rollerblading. I saw her coming down. I was blown
- 13:05Speaker 11: away by her. I knew I had to meet her,
- 13:07Speaker 11: so I was just like running next to her, and yeah,
- 13:10Speaker 11: somehow it worked. So two dates. Our first date, I
- 13:14Speaker 11: took her to UCB. Thought it'd be fun and I
- 13:16Speaker 11: know a couple of the performers, so it was a
- 13:18Speaker 11: good time. Second date, we went to c and O
- 13:23Speaker 11: great meal, laughed the whole time. Brought her back to
- 13:26Speaker 11: my place, and you know, the second date, I figured
- 13:28Speaker 11: it was fine. And she spent the night, and I
- 13:31Speaker 11: mean at least a part of the night, because when
- 13:33Speaker 11: I woke up, she was gone.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Okay, I need you to like sort of look around
- 13:37Speaker 2: your house or your apartment. Is there anything that might
- 13:41Speaker 2: stand out as a.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Dick?
- 13:47Speaker 11: I don't think so. I mean, I think my apartment's awesome.
- 13:50Speaker 11: And I had liked the embarrassing stuff, So I.
- 13:54Speaker 1: What is the embarrassing stuff you here that you can
- 13:56Speaker 1: say on the air.
- 13:59Speaker 11: Honestly, nothing bad, like you know, I've got like some
- 14:01Speaker 11: like bobbleheads and trinkets. I got a bog you know,
- 14:05Speaker 11: But I figured we hadn't talked about.
- 14:07Speaker 2: That suf, so like maybe maybe she stumbled upon this
- 14:12Speaker 2: was your trash filled with crud?
- 14:15Speaker 11: No, No, I actually I got a nice place and
- 14:18Speaker 11: I thought we had fun. I you know, I've been
- 14:20Speaker 11: told I'm a good kisser, So if I honestly, if
- 14:23Speaker 11: I had any idea of what went wrong, I wouldn't
- 14:25Speaker 11: have reached out. But I'm kind of at a loss here.
- 14:27Speaker 1: How old are you, guys? I'm thirty thirty?
- 14:33Speaker 2: All right, Alex, what do you think the reason is
- 14:35Speaker 2: that you're thirty and single? I only asked this, and
- 14:38Speaker 2: as it probably I shouldn't even ask this because people
- 14:40Speaker 2: ask me the same question at fifty and I'm like, well,
- 14:43Speaker 2: why are you asking me that?
- 14:45Speaker 11: You know, you know, dating apps and all that. And
- 14:48Speaker 11: I thought, you know, this is great because it's kind
- 14:49Speaker 11: of the old fashioned way, you know, like what a
- 14:52Speaker 11: good like little meat, cute story. And yeah, I thought
- 14:56Speaker 11: things were going well.
- 14:57Speaker 1: I think she got college frat boy vibes from you.
- 15:00Speaker 1: All right, well let's find out.
- 15:00Speaker 2: Because it was doing well, and then she spent the
- 15:03Speaker 2: night and if you're good at all the other stuff,
- 15:04Speaker 2: then she sawnic or something happened at your place.
- 15:06Speaker 1: We're coming back.
- 15:07Speaker 2: It's a second date update with Alex on Kiss FM,
- 15:09Speaker 2: one of two point seven Kiss FM. All right, it
- 15:13Speaker 2: is time for a second date update results call. This
- 15:17Speaker 2: is it the results show episode. So Alex has reached
- 15:21Speaker 2: out to us. Dude meets a girl. This is a
- 15:22Speaker 2: really cool direction they're on. They're in Venice. He's jogging,
- 15:25Speaker 2: she's rollerblading. He goes three miles keeping up on her pace.
- 15:28Speaker 2: She turns to him and goes, I'm impressed.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Love it.
- 15:31Speaker 2: So they end up going out a couple of times.
- 15:32Speaker 2: She spends the night, then she totally blocks them and
- 15:36Speaker 2: goes him After spending the night, he says he's good
- 15:37Speaker 2: at all the things. But we think that there are
- 15:40Speaker 2: some artifacts or some items that he may have mentioned
- 15:43Speaker 2: right that are just like weird, weird to see, right,
- 15:47Speaker 2: Like I just think I think our hunch base on experience.
- 15:49Speaker 2: Here was there was an inck at his place.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Hide him, so she must have found them.
- 15:56Speaker 2: Right, or like little things can throw you off, like
- 16:00Speaker 2: sheets or smells right, or I mean just little things
- 16:06Speaker 2: can throw you. It happens. It's like a risk it
- 16:08Speaker 2: to somebody a dirty bathroom. It's a big risk to
- 16:11Speaker 2: take somebody into your place. Oh yeah, like oh here
- 16:15Speaker 2: comes the judgment.
- 16:16Speaker 1: I mean, I'm like that even when my friends come
- 16:18Speaker 1: over and like want make sure the house is clean.
- 16:21Speaker 1: So let's find out Alex. You heard all that.
- 16:23Speaker 2: I'm gonna get Jackie on the phone now, be very
- 16:25Speaker 2: quietly so you can find out.
- 16:26Speaker 11: Okay, all right, thank.
- 16:29Speaker 2: You, Hey, Jackie, Ryan Seacrestis, and Tanya. You're on the
- 16:33Speaker 2: erics M. Thanks for coming on with us.
- 16:36Speaker 10: Hey, of course.
- 16:37Speaker 2: So we're calling about a guy named Alex that you
- 16:39Speaker 2: met while you were rollerblading.
- 16:41Speaker 1: Do you remember this?
- 16:43Speaker 11: Oh?
- 16:45Speaker 10: Uh, that was the guy on the beach right, Yes,
- 16:48Speaker 10: you were rollerblading, he was jogging.
- 16:50Speaker 2: He sort of like kept up and then you said
- 16:52Speaker 2: you were impressed and went out with him a couple
- 16:53Speaker 2: of times.
- 16:55Speaker 10: Yeah. Wow, this is it's really weird that you're calling
- 16:58Speaker 10: me about a guy I went out with twice?
- 17:00Speaker 1: Well, did anything advanced happened with this guy?
- 17:08Speaker 10: Did anything advanced?
- 17:10Speaker 1: Question?
- 17:12Speaker 2: What do you want me to ask? I'm trying to
- 17:13Speaker 2: find out what happened on the second date? So Jackie,
- 17:16Speaker 2: what happened on the second date?
- 17:17Speaker 1: Then?
- 17:19Speaker 3: Sorry?
- 17:21Speaker 10: Yeah, so well I don't know like how much you know,
- 17:25Speaker 10: but yeah, so I guess we ended up back at
- 17:28Speaker 10: his place. After the second date and we were like
- 17:32Speaker 10: kissing or whatever, and we you know, we went to
- 17:36Speaker 10: the bedroom and I like started to pull the sheets back,
- 17:41Speaker 10: you know, to like get under the covers, and he
- 17:44Speaker 10: stopped me and he was like no, no, no, no, here
- 17:48Speaker 10: and he threw me a blanket. Okay, so whatever, right.
- 17:52Speaker 10: So so then after I'm like, okay, can I get
- 17:55Speaker 10: under the covers now? And he was like no, I
- 17:58Speaker 10: just sleep with a blanket that way, I don't have
- 18:00Speaker 10: to wash the sheet.
- 18:02Speaker 1: That's what he said. All right. So here in lies
- 18:05Speaker 1: the plot thickening. And that was an dick.
- 18:11Speaker 10: It was quite an ick. Yeah, I mean it just
- 18:13Speaker 10: seemed like juvenile and honestly kind of insulting, like like
- 18:17Speaker 10: am I not worth like washing your sheets for?
- 18:20Speaker 1: You know? It's very weird that it's strange.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Alex is on the phone. This is a pretty direct
- 18:26Speaker 2: response request, Alex, what do you say to Jackie about this?
- 18:29Speaker 10: Now?
- 18:29Speaker 1: You know why she blocked you? Oh?
- 18:33Speaker 11: I mean yeah, I don't know. Maybe I didn't mention it,
- 18:36Speaker 11: but uh, the washer and my machine or the washer
- 18:40Speaker 11: my my building is broken, so I have to use
- 18:43Speaker 11: the laundromats.
- 18:44Speaker 1: Still, Okay, who cares?
- 18:47Speaker 5: What okay, maybe you like to go there?
- 18:51Speaker 10: Am I not laundromat worthy?
- 18:53Speaker 9: Like, I don't know you.
- 18:53Speaker 1: That's over that you were into?
- 18:58Speaker 11: Yeah, I mean, yeah, yes you are. I just I
- 19:00Speaker 11: wasn't thinking. I was just caught up in the moment.
- 19:02Speaker 11: I've just been using the blanket. So it's, you know,
- 19:05Speaker 11: not that not that big of a deal though.
- 19:10Speaker 2: I heard of like stage design and set designers in
- 19:14Speaker 2: Hollywood and stuff like that. You know, they they just
- 19:18Speaker 2: they kind of set up an environment that is full proof.
- 19:23Speaker 2: I feel like, if you're going to invite a new
- 19:25Speaker 2: person like Jackie over, you gotta set the stage a
- 19:28Speaker 2: little bit. Since lighting blankets things like.
- 19:32Speaker 1: That, right, being able to in the sheets.
- 19:36Speaker 2: Because otherwise go to hers, I bet it's I mean,
- 19:39Speaker 2: on average, probably cleaner over at hers and her friends
- 19:42Speaker 2: and yours, you know what I mean.
- 19:45Speaker 4: Yeah, but I don't know.
- 19:46Speaker 11: I mean, that's really like the rest of the date
- 19:49Speaker 11: was nice, so it was all I.
- 19:54Speaker 10: Mean, listen, it was nice. But now that we're I mean,
- 19:57Speaker 10: now that we're hashing this out, I mean you you
- 20:00Speaker 10: took home my leftovers for yourself. Oh yeah, and the
- 20:05Speaker 10: free garlic knots, and I just remember so the bill
- 20:10Speaker 10: it came to like seventy eight whatever and sixty nine cents,
- 20:15Speaker 10: and you thought that was hilarious because you're just like
- 20:19Speaker 10: two years old. So then, I mean, you might be
- 20:23Speaker 10: a good dude and whatever, but I don't know. I
- 20:25Speaker 10: don't know. I just think you're not like a fully
- 20:28Speaker 10: formed human yet, Jackie.
- 20:32Speaker 2: I mean, I don't seldom as a human. But I
- 20:34Speaker 2: think Alex has a lot to learn here and for
- 20:37Speaker 2: sure not working out.
- 20:39Speaker 1: We have clarity, and.
- 20:39Speaker 2: That's good news, right all right, Jackie, thank you for
- 20:44Speaker 2: your very vague candor and uh alex teaching moment.
- 20:51Speaker 11: Indeed, I guess so I thought it was funny.
- 20:53Speaker 1: I mean, all right, I think it's back to the trail,
- 20:56Speaker 1: back to the path of venisonce thanks a second on
- 21:01Speaker 1: air with Ryan Seacrest, It's kiss. Now. Do you sleep
- 21:10Speaker 1: with a sound? No silence in my room? Okay? Do
- 21:14Speaker 1: you sleep with a sound? Tanya?
- 21:16Speaker 9: Oh?
- 21:16Speaker 1: You bet you what kind of noise? We'll color noise.
- 21:20Speaker 5: It's like we have the hatch and it makes some
- 21:22Speaker 5: sort of like brown noise.
- 21:23Speaker 1: I think is that an app like a child night?
- 21:30Speaker 1: I can't live the child? So she and cute it is?
- 21:32Speaker 2: So have you tried. Have you tried soggio frequencies? Never
- 21:37Speaker 2: to be sad of that?
- 21:38Speaker 1: All right?
- 21:39Speaker 2: So soggio frequencies. There are nine specific sound frequencies. It's
- 21:43Speaker 2: a new trend. People are sleeping better with these sounds.
- 21:47Speaker 2: They believe to have a healing and balancing effect on
- 21:49Speaker 2: the body and of the mind. So they're supposed to
- 21:51Speaker 2: relax you and heal you while you sleep. Here's what
- 21:54Speaker 2: they sound like. Here's an example of a blue one
- 21:59Speaker 2: blue sound, so feggio frequencies.
- 22:05Speaker 1: You can't do that. It gives me anxiety. You guys
- 22:07Speaker 1: like I can just give you anxiety. I don't know.
- 22:08Speaker 1: I don't like it. Well, here's green sound. That's the same. No,
- 22:14Speaker 1: it's a little higher, little higher. You don't feel this
- 22:16Speaker 1: in your heart. My heart is like that.
- 22:19Speaker 10: No, I don't.
- 22:20Speaker 6: I'm not sleep to.
- 22:21Speaker 3: This does not relax me because I don't know what
- 22:23Speaker 3: it's going to end. I don't like how not I
- 22:25Speaker 3: don't know.
- 22:25Speaker 2: Here's the brown sounds so feggio frequencies. I like this too.
- 22:33Speaker 2: I haven't the playlist of these, which is why we're
- 22:35Speaker 2: hearing this. Here's the yellow one, Sisney, don't belittle it.
- 22:40Speaker 2: This helps a lot. It relaxes.
- 22:43Speaker 5: I could sleep with this because it's like I'm going
- 22:46Speaker 5: to church.
- 22:48Speaker 1: What is your church sound like?
- 22:50Speaker 9: Just like it sounds like everyone gather around.
- 23:01Speaker 1: That's what it's supposed to sound. Hit a dong, by
- 23:03Speaker 1: the way, I'm happy we are not roommates. Oh it's
- 23:05Speaker 1: a gongs. I think it's very hypnotizing.
- 23:10Speaker 10: I do do.
- 23:11Speaker 5: I like it. I wonder if my hatch has it.
- 23:14Speaker 2: I'll bet your search it's s O L F E
- 23:17Speaker 2: G G I O frequencies. So veggio a new trend
- 23:21Speaker 2: right now. People are sleeping great with these sounds.
- 23:23Speaker 1: Is it Italian? Well, I'm guessing so veggio must die.
- 23:33Speaker 1: There's not a lot of science mind it, but some
- 23:35Speaker 1: scientists do beilee.
- 23:36Speaker 2: The vibrations can change the brain weave activity and activate
- 23:39Speaker 2: the parasympathetic nervous system, which is the body's natural rest
- 23:43Speaker 2: and relaxed mode. I think there's no downside to try it.
- 23:47Speaker 6: No anything that's going to improve my sleep. Sign me
- 23:51Speaker 6: up at a number one.
- 23:52Speaker 1: Hit music station.
- 23:53Speaker 2: We are on streaming on every device you have on
- 23:57Speaker 2: the Ihearts radio app. If you're going out of town,
- 24:00Speaker 2: take us with you don't have to miss a thing
- 24:02Speaker 2: plug into la no matter where are you're going. Mom
- 24:06Speaker 2: listens to us in the morning while she takes her
- 24:07Speaker 2: walks in Atlanta.
- 24:09Speaker 1: She was texting me like.
- 24:10Speaker 2: During the show, comments but random, like you know, we
- 24:14Speaker 2: talk about something. And she's like, that's right, what are
- 24:17Speaker 2: you talking about?
- 24:19Speaker 1: She was, that's funny. I'm like, what, Oh, listen to you, guys.
- 24:23Speaker 1: I know it's part. My sister does that a lot too,
- 24:25Speaker 1: like no context. Yeah, and then.
- 24:26Speaker 3: I'll get it like sometimes I'll see you like an
- 24:28Speaker 3: hour half later and no idea.
- 24:29Speaker 2: What you And by the way, I don't remember what
- 24:32Speaker 2: we talked about anyway. Yeah, So listen to this. Tell
- 24:35Speaker 2: me where you stand.
- 24:36Speaker 1: All right? I already know where.
- 24:38Speaker 2: So there's a woman that posted this on TikTok. It
- 24:40Speaker 2: inspired a huge debate. Her name's Carra Ca. Call her Kara,
- 24:45Speaker 2: car Kara, Karra.
- 24:46Speaker 1: What do you like? I would have said, Carra, Carra, fine,
- 24:48Speaker 1: let's call her Kara. I don't know her.
- 24:49Speaker 2: But she was waiting to board at the Tampa Airport
- 24:52Speaker 2: a plane, and she asked a woman another passenger there
- 24:55Speaker 2: at the airport, sitting near her, if she would watch
- 24:58Speaker 2: her carry on while she went to the bathroom, so
- 25:01Speaker 2: that alone, I would not do.
- 25:02Speaker 1: I don't know who's the person. What I do that
- 25:05Speaker 1: all the time a stranger. Yeah, I don't want to
- 25:08Speaker 1: watch someone.
- 25:09Speaker 2: Are you allowed to even watch someone's bag? What if
- 25:11Speaker 2: it's a bag with something bad?
- 25:12Speaker 1: Exactly?
- 25:13Speaker 5: It gives my carry on into them?
- 25:15Speaker 1: Then what if they don't come back? I'm like, now
- 25:17Speaker 1: you need to leave.
- 25:18Speaker 2: What if it's got something bad in it and you're
- 25:20Speaker 2: watching the bag, then you've been set up.
- 25:22Speaker 6: I assessed the situation, and I trust that my TSA
- 25:25Speaker 6: has protected me.
- 25:26Speaker 1: Have you not seen that movie in the airport that
- 25:28Speaker 1: carry one he's watched? Yeah, you should watch that movie.
- 25:33Speaker 1: You really learn a lot Netflix security safety. I started
- 25:36Speaker 1: watching Oxford. What's Oxford? Yeah?
- 25:39Speaker 2: That guy's could looking. I get frustrated. He's very cute, cute.
- 25:43Speaker 2: I couldn't be so cute. I couldn't watch him like
- 25:45Speaker 2: he's so charming and cute.
- 25:47Speaker 1: I couldn't watch Is that a guy thing?
- 25:51Speaker 2: Like when guys are so good looking and charming, I
- 25:53Speaker 2: can't watch the whole thing.
- 25:55Speaker 1: Really, it's very fast on. Have you've been watching the
- 25:58Speaker 1: summer return?
- 25:58Speaker 5: Pretty?
- 25:59Speaker 1: Because I wonder if you'd but to get through that
- 26:00Speaker 1: summer I turned pretty No, oh, it's so good right now,
- 26:03Speaker 1: there's like two or three episodes left. I started all recommended,
- 26:06Speaker 1: and the guys are so good looking. I had to
- 26:08Speaker 1: stop Love Island. Maybe I don't know.
- 26:10Speaker 2: Anyway, back to the story, Okay, so the woman said,
- 26:12Speaker 2: the stranger said, no, you got to take your bag
- 26:14Speaker 2: with you. I can't watch your bag and the bathroom
- 26:16Speaker 2: just a few steps away. She didn't take the bag.
- 26:19Speaker 2: But people are all up in arms about this, saying, well,
- 26:21Speaker 2: was the woman's so rude? Yeah, the others are saying, well,
- 26:23Speaker 2: you don't leave your carry on bag with a stranger.
- 26:26Speaker 2: I don't think the airport lets you do that, wants
- 26:28Speaker 2: you to do that unless you know the person, or
- 26:29Speaker 2: unless you know what's in the bag, because don't they
- 26:31Speaker 2: ask you did you pack your bags that've been with
- 26:32Speaker 2: you the whole time? Like it doesn't seem like it's
- 26:34Speaker 2: safe to just.
- 26:36Speaker 3: It's nice, nice, and then you don't know that person
- 26:39Speaker 3: that was quote watching your bag put something in your bag,
- 26:42Speaker 3: and you.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Know it's just keep your bags to yourself.
- 26:45Speaker 2: But everyone was all on different sides of this. I
- 26:47Speaker 2: think it's your bag you gotta take away.
- 26:49Speaker 3: You look it's just like here Tanya doesn't see an
- 26:51Speaker 3: issue with it, where you and I are.
- 26:53Speaker 5: Like, hey, I don't want to roll my bag into
- 26:55Speaker 5: the bathroom.
- 26:56Speaker 6: I don't have to, like I already have to wet
- 26:58Speaker 6: ones wipe all my luggage.
- 27:00Speaker 5: I get home anyway.
- 27:01Speaker 1: But do you go to a stranger to watch your back?
- 27:04Speaker 5: Yeah? I usually ask a woman. I never I have
- 27:08Speaker 5: never asked a guy.
- 27:08Speaker 1: Actually, why is that interesting? Very intr We're not trustworthy.
- 27:13Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 27:13Speaker 5: It's just like a natural instinct.
- 27:15Speaker 2: So you it's just okay, you're afraid to leave it
- 27:17Speaker 2: with a guy, but not afraid to leave it with
- 27:19Speaker 2: a strangers.
- 27:20Speaker 3: Feel it's kind of not nice to make someone watch
- 27:25Speaker 3: your bag.
- 27:25Speaker 1: It's not okay.
- 27:26Speaker 5: It's not just me. I'm not gonna go pick up
- 27:28Speaker 5: a sandwich, get a coffee.
- 27:30Speaker 2: Why I I think if I work at the airport,
- 27:33Speaker 2: I'm telling you it's not safe.
- 27:34Speaker 1: You don't know the person, you don't know what's in there.
- 27:36Speaker 3: If somebody asked me, I'd be very annoyed. I'd be like, oh,
- 27:39Speaker 3: but you would say yes, and I would be very annoyed.
- 27:43Speaker 1: Because then I'm like, when are they coming back?
- 27:45Speaker 2: He'll be right back, Kiss, Kiss FM. Seacrest with you
- 27:49Speaker 2: one eight hundred and five to one oh two seven
- 27:51Speaker 2: is our number into the studio, keep it handy, send
- 27:55Speaker 2: when we give away stuff. Damien in Pomona, Good morning, Damien.
- 28:00Speaker 1: How are you?
- 28:01Speaker 4: Good morning? I'm doing good. How about you?
- 28:03Speaker 1: I'm all right?
- 28:04Speaker 2: So it says here on the screen she unmatched me?
- 28:07Speaker 2: Should I still show up to date? What happened?
- 28:11Speaker 4: Yeah? So I matched with a woman on hinge and okay,
- 28:15Speaker 4: we had a great conversation on and off for like
- 28:19Speaker 4: a few weeks, and I asked her out and she
- 28:21Speaker 4: seemed excited about it, and we made the plan for
- 28:24Speaker 4: tonight at six and we confirmed last night. But I
- 28:28Speaker 4: woke up this morning and she unmatched me. So my
- 28:31Speaker 4: question is should I still go?
- 28:35Speaker 1: Yeah? Well, Tony says yes, why she.
- 28:38Speaker 6: Probably unmatched you because she has high hopes for this
- 28:41Speaker 6: date and she's like, I don't need this happen anymore.
- 28:43Speaker 5: I found the one Wow.
- 28:45Speaker 1: That is showing to a conclusion. Yeah, I don't know.
- 28:49Speaker 3: So if she unmatched you, does that mean you can't
- 28:52Speaker 3: contact her at all?
- 28:55Speaker 10: Right?
- 28:56Speaker 1: Weird? I think it's weird. I don't know if I
- 28:58Speaker 1: would show up, right, it sounds like she's a goner. Yes,
- 29:04Speaker 1: she's moved on from you. It sounds like no.
- 29:06Speaker 3: But if you're necessarily is that what you did when
- 29:08Speaker 3: you went out with Robbie?
- 29:09Speaker 2: Yeah, to you, because she met her husband on Hane
- 29:11Speaker 2: how to work for you? I, well, we weren't just
- 29:14Speaker 2: talking in the app.
- 29:14Speaker 6: We had each other's phone numbers, so even if I
- 29:16Speaker 6: would unmatched him, I still could have been able to
- 29:18Speaker 6: contact him. But yeah, maybe she's just excited about the
- 29:22Speaker 6: day and she just wants to be off.
- 29:24Speaker 5: She thinks you're it, but.
- 29:25Speaker 1: Then there's no way to contact him. If she's running
- 29:27Speaker 1: late or whatever.
- 29:28Speaker 5: Well, don't be late.
- 29:30Speaker 1: If you have, you made the plans. You made the plans.
- 29:34Speaker 1: Just show up. See how it goes. Roll the dice.
- 29:35Speaker 1: Let's see what happens.
- 29:36Speaker 6: Worst thing, you get stood up, and then maybe you
- 29:38Speaker 6: find maybe you were meant to be at this bar
- 29:40Speaker 6: and the person you're supposed to be with is also
- 29:42Speaker 6: getting stood up at the same time, and then you
- 29:44Speaker 6: meet her, and then there's your love story.
- 29:47Speaker 2: That's our fairy tale name Tanya, that would be Daman.
- 29:51Speaker 2: Go for it, edible, show up. You've made the plans.
- 29:55Speaker 2: Let's play it out. Then you'll know for certain if
- 29:58Speaker 2: it's on or off. Let's have clarity. I love you
- 30:00Speaker 2: for Colin, Thank you very much, good luck.
- 30:03Speaker 4: Thanks dating.
- 30:04Speaker 2: You can hear the depression in his voice. It's just
- 30:07Speaker 2: not fun, yeah, an enthusiastic Exactly. It's not good until
- 30:12Speaker 2: it's good.
- 30:13Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 30:13Speaker 5: You just gotta find the right one.
- 30:14Speaker 1: You gotta find the wrong one.
- 30:15Speaker 2: Dam it, get out there, Okay, go for it. I
- 30:17Speaker 2: changed my swing. Take the swing.
- 30:19Speaker 1: I would not want to date again. Sorry. As I
- 30:28Speaker 1: was saying, I was like, oh, this is not gonna
- 30:29Speaker 1: come off like to brag about. Well, you're just saying
- 30:34Speaker 1: how much like it sucks. And I'm like, yeah, you're right, Yeah,
- 30:38Speaker 1: I don't make it up. Yeah.
- 30:39Speaker 6: My girlfriend doesn't even want to do it alone anymore.
- 30:41Speaker 6: She's like, you're all coming with me.
- 30:42Speaker 2: I don't want to go out alone either. Let me
- 30:45Speaker 2: go with her. Well, that is going to wrap it
- 30:47Speaker 2: up for us. Hey, if someone assistant Tony, if someone
- 30:50Speaker 2: you used to like told you they had feelings for
- 30:52Speaker 2: you today, would you be flattered or annoyed?
- 30:55Speaker 6: Tanya, I'd be flattered and I'd be like, I'm taking baby.
- 31:00Speaker 1: I wouldn't feel a thing like I wouldn't feel annoyed.
- 31:04Speaker 1: I wouldn't feel flattered. I feel nothing. I feel both.
- 31:09Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, I think both right, right, they.
- 31:14Speaker 1: Wouldn't bother me.
- 31:16Speaker 5: But it's also like, why are they coming to you now?
- 31:19Speaker 1: It's a hypothetical, guys, it's not happening. I just want
- 31:21Speaker 1: to feel out. I imagine they all do anyways.
- 31:24Speaker 2: So right, I mean in Sisty's had, she's got her
- 31:27Speaker 2: movie written. Tomorrow, we're back. Thank you, back room, bye my,
- 31:31Speaker 2: thank you bye, and.
- 31:33Speaker 1: Thank you for listening. Sissy's gonna take it till eleven
- 31:36Speaker 1: o'clock on Air with Ryan Seacrest
