- 0:40Speaker 1: embrace the spook around For the Dads. I hope you
- 0:42Speaker 1: guys are too.
- 0:43Speaker 2: You guys need to be if you're about Papa Team
- 0:45Speaker 2: 6 and you're about Spooktober and you're about For the Dads.
- 0:47Speaker 1: We have new merch. We have new merch, Sherm. Show
- 0:50Speaker 1: them that merch. This is the official Papa Team 6
- 0:53Speaker 1: wear of Spooktober. You got bears. You got trick-or-treating going on.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Show them the little patch in the front, Sherm.
- 1:00Speaker 2: The little patch in the front, it looks beautiful. Hey,
- 1:03Speaker 2: let me read the top for you. Turn around. Turn around.
- 1:05Speaker 2: Do a little spin. Do a little spin.
- 1:07Speaker 1: It says, Trick or Treat Division, Papa Team 6. Who
- 1:11Speaker 1: wouldn't want a shirt like that? BWTB.com. Also, you see
- 1:15Speaker 1: For the Dads. You want wolf puppies?
- 1:17Speaker 2: Go ahead, Sherm. Oh, look at that. It says, For
- 1:19Speaker 2: the Dads. It's got a papa wolf. It's got a
- 1:21Speaker 2: baby wolf. I'm not talking into the mic. My apologies.
- 1:24Speaker 2: And then, this is one of my favorites. Like, literally,
- 1:27Speaker 2: I texted Deke, favorite of all time. The hat, Will. Oh, bro,
- 1:31Speaker 2: I know. Ghost face?
- 1:33Speaker 1: Ghost face, scream face. It's a little bear if you
- 1:36Speaker 1: couldn't tell. We have plenty of merch that you can
- 1:38Speaker 1: go shop, BWTB.com, embrace the spook with the boys, embrace
- 1:42Speaker 1: the spook with the dads. Be a dad and embrace
- 1:45Speaker 1: the spook. Or if you're a mom, if you're an
- 1:46Speaker 1: MT6 or out there listening, go embrace the spook. Dude,
- 1:50Speaker 1: I'll say this too, as far as our merch goes.
- 1:53Speaker 1: We're a smaller brand, and Deke, I'm looking at you
- 1:57Speaker 1: right now because you run the merch divisions.
- 2:00Speaker 2: In all of Bustin' with the Boys. Yeah, yeah.
- 2:02Speaker 1: We're a smaller brand, but my God, do we pack
- 2:05Speaker 1: a punch in merchandise and people embracing the brand of
- 2:09Speaker 1: For the Dads.
- 2:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:10Speaker 2: There's a lot of pride.
- 2:11Speaker 1: I don't know if anybody else feels it around the shop,
- 2:14Speaker 1: but there's a lot of pride with old Willie C.
- 2:16Speaker 1: When I see the For the Dads merch, we have
- 2:18Speaker 1: a lot of great merch with Bustin' with the Boys
- 2:20Speaker 1: and everything else. We got collabs up on the site
- 2:23Speaker 1: with awesome brands. Shout out Bud Light, no free shout
- 2:25Speaker 1: outs to Jack Daniels.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:27Speaker 1: But also, when I see our For the Dads stuff,
- 2:29Speaker 1: and what Deke got cooking up with Alex back at HQ,
- 2:34Speaker 1: there's like pride of like, I bet our audience shows
- 2:37Speaker 1: up on Spooktober better than any other brand that we
- 2:41Speaker 1: got going on in the busing world.
- 2:42Speaker 2: That's a shout out to the Papa Team Sickos because
- 2:46Speaker 2: it is crazy when we have some merch drop during
- 2:51Speaker 2: football season and Deke will print out the numbers and
- 2:54Speaker 2: it will be number one sellers, this guy mowing his yard.
- 3:00Speaker 2: And I'm like, man, Papa Team 6. Papa Team 6 shirt,
- 3:04Speaker 2: number one. Over, like, some of our football stuff. Yes.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Even the Husker gear. Sometimes I'm like, okay, I got
- 3:11Speaker 2: to get to, I got to let the people know.
- 3:13Speaker 2: Maybe they just forgot that we do Nebraska gear. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Huskers,
- 3:17Speaker 2: come on, show them. And then Papa Team 6 is like, hey.
- 3:20Speaker 2: We're at the top. Mowing the yard, man. Hey, being
- 3:25Speaker 2: at the top for the dads. Being at the top.
- 3:28Speaker 2: We're not at the top. But we're hearing the intel
- 3:31Speaker 2: telling us we're a top 10 dad pod. We're a
- 3:34Speaker 2: top 10 dad pod according to, I forget the publishing side.
- 3:39Speaker 2: According to Deke.
- 3:39Speaker 4: According to Deke. We're number one according to Deke. According
- 3:43Speaker 4: to the numbers Deke pulled, we're a top 10 dad pod.
- 3:46Speaker 4: We're a top 10 dad pod.
- 3:47Speaker 2: And you said the other ones, the ones that are
- 3:48Speaker 2: above us, they've been ripping for like five to 10 years. Yeah.
- 3:51Speaker 4: So the numbers that we pulled in here, most of
- 3:52Speaker 4: them have been going for five to 10 years. FTD
- 3:56Speaker 4: has been running for about 16 months and we are
- 3:58Speaker 4: top 10. And I'm going to say it out loud.
- 3:59Speaker 4: I've never heard of a single one in front of us.
- 4:01Speaker 4: Maybe that's because I'm not a dad.
- 4:02Speaker 2: No disrespect. No disrespect. We're not here. We're not. Listen. Fatherhood, it's.
- 4:08Speaker 2: He's my dad. Solidarity. He's my dad. Solidarity. Yeah. We
- 4:12Speaker 2: all stand together with people ripping dad bods out there.
- 4:15Speaker 4: Tribes of the same community.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:17Speaker 1: But if you are watching right now, if you are
- 4:19Speaker 1: listening right now, make sure you're subscribing. Make sure you're
- 4:21Speaker 1: following our channels on Spotify, Apple, wherever you can get podcasts.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Drop comments. These are the things that push us to
- 4:28Speaker 1: the forefront of the dad niche in the podcast world.
- 4:31Speaker 1: And also, fun stat. Honestly, the best stat that Deke
- 4:36Speaker 1: had that he told us is, what was it, 58%?
- 4:38Speaker 4: Yeah, 58.2 is a completion. So on our Spotify numbers,
- 4:43Speaker 4: that is from Spotify's account, Around 60% of people that
- 4:46Speaker 4: start our podcast listen in totality, which is unbelievably high.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Dude. It's awesome. Shout out, you guys, bro. That is them.
- 4:55Speaker 2: That's the people we know we're looking at but can't
- 4:58Speaker 2: see because we're looking at a camera right now. And
- 5:01Speaker 2: when I tell you that that is crazy numbers, you
- 5:05Speaker 2: only see that type of watch through with top five
- 5:09Speaker 2: podcasts in the world. Like you're talking like people watching
- 5:15Speaker 2: your episode all the way through like that. That's really,
- 5:17Speaker 2: really cool to see. I get my piss hot, man.
- 5:20Speaker 2: Can I throw one extra shameless plug in there? Dude,
- 5:24Speaker 2: throw a shameless plug. Oh, is this, this is on
- 5:26Speaker 2: our site, right? I saw you. I saw you post
- 5:28Speaker 2: a photo last week. I'm like, we got candles. We
- 5:30Speaker 2: got anti monster candles. And I thought no better way
- 5:34Speaker 2: to ward off the ghouls and the goblins than to
- 5:38Speaker 2: get our anti monster candles going. You need a light brother.
- 5:43Speaker 2: And hey, this product right here is how dads have fun. Yeah.
- 5:47Speaker 1: When you go a little too crazy on the site,
- 5:50Speaker 1: a wifey's like, why are you spending this amount of
- 5:52Speaker 1: money for the dad's merch in Papa Team 6?
- 5:54Speaker 2: And he's like, sweetheart, they got candles. I got you
- 5:57Speaker 2: a candle. I got you a candle, honey. We got embraces, poop.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Let's light it right now. Hey, you know when I
- 6:02Speaker 2: poop and then you're mad for the next 20 minutes
- 6:04Speaker 2: and you go, hey, it still smells like your poop?
- 6:07Speaker 2: I got candles. We got to get to a festivity
- 6:10Speaker 2: this weekend. Did you embrace a spook over the weekend?
- 6:13Speaker 2: I did. I did. What is the place that Klump
- 6:15Speaker 2: and I were both at? Golly. Lucky Lad? Lucky Land? Oh,
- 6:20Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 6:21Speaker 4: Lucky Lad Farms.
- 6:22Speaker 2: Lucky Lad. Lucky Lad. Lucky Lad Farms. Bro, you got
- 6:27Speaker 2: to go there. Is that our guy that is like
- 6:30Speaker 2: super social media prone?
- 6:31Speaker 3: No, no, no.
- 6:32Speaker 2: That's like the flower guy. Oh, that's the flower guy.
- 6:34Speaker 2: That's like the gardening guy. Okay, okay.
- 6:37Speaker 1: I don't want to butcher his name. But yeah, this
- 6:39Speaker 1: is different. This is Lucky Lad. You're going to go
- 6:42Speaker 1: about 40 minutes.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Actually, you might be close. It's in my neck of
- 6:46Speaker 2: the woods. Bro, you have to go. I'm talking petting zoos.
- 6:50Speaker 2: I'm talking slides.
- 6:53Speaker 1: You put the little sleeve underneath you when you slide down.
- 6:56Speaker 2: What's that thing called?
- 6:57Speaker 5: Sack.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Yeah, a little sack.
- 6:59Speaker 3: Yes, dude.
- 6:59Speaker 2: They got like a tractor train ride. Buddy, I'm about
- 7:05Speaker 2: 20 minutes from Lucky Ladd Farms. Playground. Bro, it is.
- 7:10Speaker 2: That's where you want to go. That's where we were
- 7:12Speaker 2: embracing the spook over the weekend. That's down there in
- 7:14Speaker 2: Rutherford County. That'll be perfect for us to go check
- 7:18Speaker 2: it out.
- 7:19Speaker 1: You guys will love it. Pumpkin Patch. Beautiful pumpkins, too.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Great photo ops there. It's a spot, if you're in Nashville,
- 7:26Speaker 1: that's a spot you want to go to. People, I'm
- 7:28Speaker 1: saying it, and they're like, oh, yeah, Willie boy, we've
- 7:29Speaker 1: been knowing about this.
- 7:31Speaker 2: They're saying it. Yeah, they're saying it. Yeah, they're saying it.
- 7:34Speaker 2: We've been a couple times, but yeah. Where was that,
- 7:37Speaker 2: where that picture of Scott Zilla in the leaves came from?
- 7:41Speaker 2: Where did that, that was some embracing of spooktober, my friend.
- 7:44Speaker 1: So, dad hack, this ain't a secret, by any means,
- 7:49Speaker 1: building leaf piles with your kiddos. That was at the house.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Oldest dad hack in the book. Oldest dad hack. I
- 7:55Speaker 1: pulled up yesterday getting home. And they're outside, Rue's just
- 7:59Speaker 1: scraping up a leaf pile on the concrete, like on
- 8:01Speaker 1: the driveway. I'm like, sweetheart, we got to move it
- 8:03Speaker 1: to the grass. You want to do it on the
- 8:04Speaker 1: grass because you guys want to be able to jump
- 8:05Speaker 1: in it. You jump, I'm telling you right now, this
- 8:07Speaker 1: isn't like a pillow of leaves that you're diving into.
- 8:10Speaker 1: You're going to hit the ground.
- 8:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:12Speaker 1: So I get out the leaf blower. We're brushing stuff
- 8:15Speaker 1: over there. Rue's got her broom out. We're building this
- 8:17Speaker 1: leaf pile. And then they're playing in it. And dude,
- 8:20Speaker 1: it was so funny because that photo with Scotty. Charles
- 8:24Speaker 1: like Scotty, like go ahead. You can lay in the
- 8:26Speaker 1: leaf pile.
- 8:26Speaker 2: And she's like slowly laying down. She just like lays
- 8:28Speaker 2: in there. She's just got like her eyes like staring up.
- 8:31Speaker 2: Obviously I'll get you the photo chef so you can
- 8:33Speaker 2: have that up. But so funny, bro. that was a
- 8:38Speaker 2: good one i uh for us embracing uh the spook
- 8:43Speaker 2: i was here uh doing some haunted house some haunted
- 8:47Speaker 2: house building yes you were i was with neighbor blake
- 8:53Speaker 2: who shout out neighbor blake shout out neighbor blake shout
- 8:57Speaker 2: out neighbor blake i told them we're up for neighbors
- 9:00Speaker 2: of the year People are saying.
- 9:02Speaker 1: So neighbor Blake, cause you came three days in a
- 9:05Speaker 1: row on the weekend to build. And now mind you,
- 9:08Speaker 1: if you're, if you're just a follower and listener for
- 9:10Speaker 1: the dads, go to the bus and channel on Instagram.
- 9:13Speaker 1: So you can check out this haunted house that we've
- 9:16Speaker 1: kind of turned our shop into. I had no clue
- 9:19Speaker 1: until this morning that you, that chef and that you
- 9:24Speaker 1: guys kind of built this entire thing up, but you're
- 9:26Speaker 1: telling me neighbor Blake was here.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Neighbor Blake. All three days. All three days? Yeah.
- 9:33Speaker 5: Neighbor Blake was instrumental in getting all this up. And
- 9:36Speaker 5: by the way, everything Sherm described about him when he
- 9:39Speaker 5: first moved in, all that talk, 100% on the nose. Like,
- 9:43Speaker 5: handsome dude, man's man, just kind of do it all.
- 9:47Speaker 5: Did you tell him you said you're a good-looking boy?
- 9:48Speaker 2: I think I did. I think he truly did. He
- 9:52Speaker 2: was like, you came as advertised. Sherm was not glazing. Like,
- 9:56Speaker 2: you are the real deal. He's just a dude. Just
- 9:59Speaker 2: a good dude.
- 10:00Speaker 4: We celebrated all this going well. He was waiting in
- 10:05Speaker 4: his driveway. He had two cold ones. He had one
- 10:08Speaker 4: waiting for me. And we cracked some cold ones in
- 10:11Speaker 4: the driveway together when I got home. He was stoked
- 10:15Speaker 4: on everything.
- 10:15Speaker 2: So we were doing that. However, we were also putting
- 10:20Speaker 2: decor up at the house. And Scarlett is big on
- 10:24Speaker 2: the front yard decor. We got like the cutesy inflatables.
- 10:27Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Like Hello Kitty with her little Halloween costume on. A
- 10:31Speaker 2: little jack-o'-lantern inflatable. And she just banging those things when
- 10:36Speaker 2: we bring her outside. And we have a new tradition,
- 10:38Speaker 2: I guess. Every single night before we go do bedtime routine,
- 10:42Speaker 2: we walk out to the front yard and we have
- 10:44Speaker 2: to look at all of our spooky decor. and touch
- 10:47Speaker 2: the spiders and the spider webs. That warms my heart.
- 10:51Speaker 2: It's good, dude. A lot of fun.
- 10:54Speaker 1: We, uh, you know what else, by the way, you
- 10:57Speaker 1: talk about spooktober embracing the spook and also PT fit.
- 11:01Speaker 1: We had a ride in PT fit. This is Jimmy
- 11:03Speaker 1: Carver on Spotify. I just want to, Quickly say this one.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Happy squat-tober, P.T.
- 11:09Speaker 5: Finn.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Get under the fucking bar, get your chili hot.
- 11:12Speaker 1: And go ask the grass in the world's largest knee-bending party, LFG.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Jimmy Carver is fired up. Squat-tober, spook-tober. Hey, that's electric.
- 11:26Speaker 2: What was the way, get your chili hot? Get your
- 11:28Speaker 2: chili hot. That's the first time I've heard that. I
- 11:31Speaker 2: love that. Get your chili hot, man. You know what
- 11:33Speaker 2: got my chili hot, truly, was the live rep. That's
- 11:38Speaker 2: probably the most I've had people- Reach out to me
- 11:43Speaker 2: from something that happened in the show and being like,
- 11:46Speaker 2: not only, hey, good job on the live rep, but
- 11:49Speaker 2: shout outs to the team, y'all being there for me.
- 11:53Speaker 2: And they were like, that was some prime. Willie sees
- 11:56Speaker 2: the head coach. Quarterback's coming, you know, to the sideline.
- 12:00Speaker 2: He's giving him the play. This is how I need
- 12:02Speaker 2: you to run it. Coach, what are you seeing out there? Boy,
- 12:04Speaker 2: you got it. And they said I went right back
- 12:08Speaker 2: onto the field and dialed it up exactly like Coach
- 12:10Speaker 2: drew it up. PT Sickos, we interrupt this episode to
- 12:15Speaker 2: bring you our good friends at Olipop. We love Olipop.
- 12:21Speaker 2: We love their new fall flavor, Caramel Apple.
- 12:26Speaker 3: And.
- 12:27Speaker 2: We love it when it's even in a float with
- 12:29Speaker 2: a little bit of ice cream. You don't have to
- 12:30Speaker 2: do that at home. We liked it when we tried
- 12:33Speaker 2: it here. Make sure that you go pick up an
- 12:38Speaker 2: Olipop today in-store because Olipop is still running there. Buy

- 13:16Speaker 2: they pay you back for one. Guys, we are also

- 13:23Speaker 2: I usually have the breakers right here, but guess what
- 13:25Speaker 2: I was doing this weekend? I was pitching Lucy to
- 13:29Speaker 2: the guys that were helping put up our haunted house
- 13:31Speaker 2: here in the shop. So all of our workers were
- 13:35Speaker 2: rocking Lucy this weekend because I was handing out breakers
- 13:39Speaker 2: like they were candy. We have our Lucy Espresso 12

- 14:20Speaker 2: By the way, we have, before we get into these follow-ups,
- 14:23Speaker 2: big time.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Shout out, Evie the Brave. Evie the Brave and her
- 14:27Speaker 1: dad sent in a gong. We now have a gong
- 14:30Speaker 1: on the For the Dad set. He did a little
- 14:32Speaker 1: write-in as well.
- 14:33Speaker 2: He said to every person who supported Everly, whether that
- 14:37Speaker 2: be donating towards childhood cancer in September, buying a Gong
- 14:40Speaker 2: Rips for Heavy shirt, sent prayers, positive healing vibes, or
- 14:45Speaker 2: put pink hearts in the comments, you helped a dad
- 14:47Speaker 2: in a time of desperation. In a time with so
- 14:51Speaker 2: much scary uncertainty, you all made one thing absolutely clear.
- 14:55Speaker 2: No matter what happened that week, Evy was in your hearts,
- 14:59Speaker 2: and I love you all for that. Stack those wins,
- 15:04Speaker 2: hit the gong, go be great, and take out the
- 15:08Speaker 2: damn trash. And yes, everyone's looking at you, Will. P.S. Deke,
- 15:12Speaker 2: I hope you put the shockwave out of commission last week,
- 15:15Speaker 2: you dog. And then P.P.S., Carlos... Please check in. We
- 15:21Speaker 2: miss you. We miss your voice, Carlos. And welcome back
- 15:24Speaker 2: to Deke. We missed you. The cards missed you. We
- 15:29Speaker 2: now have the font that are legible now. Good size.
- 15:35Speaker 2: Good reading right there. Thank you. We're going to get
- 15:37Speaker 2: into some cards and callbacks and follow-ups, everything. You want
- 15:40Speaker 2: a chance to be featured on the show. All you
- 15:42Speaker 2: got to do is write into the comments. Right in.
- 15:44Speaker 1: We're on all social platforms, all that stuff. We do
- 15:46Speaker 1: it every week. We love engaging with the community, but
- 15:48Speaker 1: we are happy to have you back, and so are
- 15:50Speaker 1: these cards.
- 15:51Speaker 4: Good to be back. Kat was upset. My wonderful wife.
- 15:56Speaker 2: Shout out!
- 15:57Speaker 4: She kept being like, you're not even sad we're leaving
- 15:59Speaker 4: our honeymoon. I'm just like, I'm excited to get back
- 16:01Speaker 4: to the.
- 16:01Speaker 2: Boys, babe.
- 16:03Speaker 4: You can only do parts for so long. Hey, also-
- 16:07Speaker 4: I had to explain to her what that was when
- 16:08Speaker 4: she saw the clip. She's a fan of the show,
- 16:10Speaker 4: but she was like, all right, give me the whole,
- 16:12Speaker 4: what's Will talking about? And I'm like, oh, you know Will, CTE.
- 16:14Speaker 2: He likes to use acronyms, breeding until dad said it.
- 16:22Speaker 2: I was very sad when I realized the cornrows weren't real.
- 16:27Speaker 2: I had the same, I thought the Willie C cornrows
- 16:30Speaker 2: pick was real- for a full year when i was
- 16:34Speaker 2: uh contracting for you guys blows my mind i thought
- 16:37Speaker 2: you put your hair in cornrows for a bowl game.
- 16:40Speaker 4: Has your hair ever been that long would be my
- 16:42Speaker 4: first question because that was most people were like you.
- 16:45Speaker 2: See the sleekness on the the head next to the
- 16:48Speaker 2: cornrows it's like their foreheads massive i can see i
- 16:51Speaker 2: guess i got a bigger forehead i can see it
- 16:53Speaker 2: now that i know you and i've seen you in
- 16:55Speaker 2: person and once i was told it was fake i
- 16:57Speaker 2: was like oh damn But just seeing it really quick,
- 17:00Speaker 2: like I saw Deeks, I was like, no, he did not.
- 17:03Speaker 2: It was just like a.
- 17:04Speaker 4: Couple of days before that I had this haircut getting
- 17:06Speaker 4: married and we posted all these wedding photos. And then
- 17:09Speaker 4: a ton of people were like, dude, it actually looks
- 17:11Speaker 4: really good. Like, good job. Like, where did the hair
- 17:14Speaker 4: come from?
- 17:14Speaker 2: People. Yeah, it makes sense now. It makes sense now.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Hit the gong. Yo, I love that we have the
- 17:21Speaker 2: gong now. We can use it for anything. I was
- 17:24Speaker 2: about to say new rule when people write in, if
- 17:26Speaker 2: they put a hit the gong, we just hit the gong. Yeah.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Or they write in, maybe you don't agree with what
- 17:30Speaker 1: they're saying. You just hit the gong. Or maybe you
- 17:32Speaker 1: do agree and then you celebrate or you hit the gong.
- 17:35Speaker 1: And then we might need a cut every time, whether
- 17:37Speaker 1: it's Chef, whether it's Matt watching. When the gong happens,
- 17:39Speaker 1: it's just an ISO shot on the gong getting hit.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Oh man.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Let's hit some follow-ups. Let's hit some PT six community.
- 17:50Speaker 1: I have one here from a race. Sean G 92
- 17:54Speaker 1: 68 on YouTube subjects, 24 year old ST six are
- 17:58Speaker 1: all the way out.
- 17:59Speaker 2: In the UAE. What is the UAE? United Arab Emirates. Oh, shit.
- 18:05Speaker 2: Where's that? That is in the Middle East. Okay. Very
- 18:09Speaker 2: close to Saudi Arabia. Got my amazing girlfriend holding it
- 18:13Speaker 2: down back in the States. Due February 15th with our
- 18:15Speaker 2: baby girl while I finish this tour and come back
- 18:18Speaker 2: in January. Been tapped in since the jump and it's
- 18:21Speaker 2: so refreshing to see you guys just being dudes and
- 18:24Speaker 2: chopping it up about being girl dads. Y'all fire me
- 18:26Speaker 2: up about this next chapter. So locked in.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Getting some uh pre-fire or getting some girl dad merch
- 18:32Speaker 1: because i love what you guys do keep it up
- 18:33Speaker 1: boys go ahead and get the spooktober merch.
- 18:36Speaker 2: Hit the gong man paul phelan uh said sherman kind
- 18:41Speaker 2: of got in his bag with how he operated live
- 18:44Speaker 2: on during air uh with the phone call with jill
- 18:48Speaker 2: 10 out of 10 inspiration bro thank you paul a lot.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Of good comments about the operation this outfit ran on
- 18:56Speaker 1: live on there because that's one you go in like
- 18:58Speaker 1: hey if it doesn't go we we cut it out
- 19:00Speaker 1: if we you know if she's calling in it's about
- 19:02Speaker 1: something else like we cut it out yeah that was
- 19:04Speaker 1: a great live rep that's the locker room man that
- 19:07Speaker 1: is the locker room just say hey boy boys you
- 19:11Speaker 1: know i i was kind of wheeling and dealing y'all
- 19:14Speaker 1: could see that wheels were spinning willie see hey.
- 19:18Speaker 3: Hey tell her you got it yeah tell her don't
- 19:20Speaker 3: worry about it once she heard that too I mean,
- 19:24Speaker 3: it was the whole pitch and tone of her voice was, oh,
- 19:27Speaker 3: husband's got it.
- 19:28Speaker 2: This is great. I don't have to stress anymore. Let
- 19:30Speaker 2: me go back to work and grind. Yeah. Got one
- 19:32Speaker 2: here from Slim Shady on YouTube. Went to four different
- 19:37Speaker 2: stores just to find the caramel olipop. Glad I did.
- 19:41Speaker 1: The caramel apple olipop. Glad I did because the caramel
- 19:44Speaker 1: apple floats went crazy. Hit the gong. Caramel apple floats
- 19:51Speaker 1: do go crazy. They do go crazy. I'm glad somebody
- 19:56Speaker 1: out there finally tasted it.
- 19:58Speaker 2: I have a wild connect, by the way, with, I
- 20:02Speaker 2: was keeping it a secret for a while because I
- 20:05Speaker 2: didn't want to make it like a big deal because
- 20:08Speaker 2: I was honestly worried about pulling some hammies and stuff.
- 20:10Speaker 2: But I joined a flag football team, a co-ed flag
- 20:13Speaker 2: football team.
- 20:14Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 20:14Speaker 2: Yes.
- 20:14Speaker 6: We're 0-5, I believe.
- 20:15Speaker 2: 0-5? 0-5. Yes. What are we doing?
- 20:17Speaker 5: Hey.
- 20:26Speaker 2: We're figuring it out. And I think we're having a
- 20:29Speaker 2: lot of fun. Listen, how old are you? 33.
- 20:32Speaker 1: You're 33 years old. It ain't about having fun and
- 20:37Speaker 1: getting a participation trophy. You're telling me we got to
- 20:39Speaker 1: pop a Team 6 outfit out there in Nashville and
- 20:42Speaker 1: we're 0-5?
- 20:45Speaker 2: I'm the oldest by seven years, I think, on the team.
- 20:49Speaker 5: No.
- 20:53Speaker 2: I'm out there to not pull anything into getting shape.
- 20:58Speaker 2: We got some guys that want to win for sure, though.
- 21:00Speaker 2: But I don't want to win. You don't care to win.
- 21:02Speaker 2: I do want to win. I do want to win. Now,
- 21:05Speaker 2: by the way, you're sounding you need to take up
- 21:07Speaker 2: my butt. My boy here talking about squat tober. Ask
- 21:10Speaker 2: the grass. Get your chili hot. I do need to
- 21:14Speaker 2: get my chili on. My chili is cold. I am
- 21:17Speaker 2: happy just being out there and not doing anything. I
- 21:20Speaker 2: got to start at slot, which I'm very happy about.
- 21:24Speaker 2: They got me playing both ways when they need the numbers.
- 21:30Speaker 2: So you come off the bench? On defense, yeah. On defense, yeah.
- 21:35Speaker 2: I told them I'm not playing both ways. Hit the gong.
- 21:40Speaker 2: You can miss me with starting both ways. I ain't
- 21:42Speaker 2: doing that. Is this a random team or how'd you
- 21:44Speaker 2: get connected with them? Very random. Okay. Jill's coworker. Well,
- 21:48Speaker 2: that's normal. I mean, truly.
- 21:50Speaker 4: LinkedIn ad. Normally when you're 0-5 on a flag football team,
- 21:54Speaker 4: it's because it is a bunch of free agents coming
- 21:56Speaker 4: together as opposed to you formed your team.
- 21:58Speaker 2: To give you some defense. It is all free agents.
- 22:01Speaker 2: Jill's coworker who's on the team, shout out Grace, they
- 22:05Speaker 2: needed guys. And she asked Jill and Jill was like,
- 22:08Speaker 2: Sherman needs an excuse to get out of the house
- 22:10Speaker 2: and go have fun. And he's also been, he wants
- 22:13Speaker 2: to get in good shape. And he loves flag football.
- 22:16Speaker 2: He did all the time back in Texas. Like Sherman,
- 22:20Speaker 2: you should go do that. And once I got green
- 22:21Speaker 2: light from wifey, cause it's late on like Thursday nights.
- 22:26Speaker 2: I was like, hell yeah. So Thursday nights are super fun.
- 22:28Speaker 2: Like it's a blast, but our, our quarterback, uh, Sean
- 22:33Speaker 2: is the Olipop guy that made all of our hats
- 22:37Speaker 2: for the show. Oh, no shit. Is that not crazy?
- 22:40Speaker 2: That is crazy. We need him to win some football games.
- 22:43Speaker 2: We do. We do. Can make an Olipop hat, but
- 22:46Speaker 2: not throw a football. Hey, but watch your mouth. That's
- 22:49Speaker 2: my team. That's my quarterback. You know what I'm saying?
- 22:55Speaker 2: That's my team. That's my quarterback, man. We talking about
- 22:58Speaker 2: my quarterback.
- 22:59Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 23:01Speaker 2: Sean's the man though. And yeah, we've been having a
- 23:04Speaker 2: lot of conversations about the Olipop flavors. It's been fun.
- 23:08Speaker 2: You got a, do you have another follow up? I do.
- 23:10Speaker 2: Sherm is executing that live rep and it was a
- 23:13Speaker 2: thing of beauty. Calmed wifey down. Let her know daddy
- 23:17Speaker 2: got this. Gave yourself options to handle said problem. Dan
- 23:21Speaker 2: Gable quote. There's nothing like success. That comes from PT6J
- 23:27Speaker 2: on YouTube. Shout out PT6J on YouTube. And a gong
- 23:30Speaker 2: rip for the Dan Gable quote, if that's okay. That felt...
- 23:35Speaker 2: But you're 0-5. I am. Like you need nothing but
- 23:41Speaker 2: Dan Gable quotes on Thursday night because we've got to
- 23:44Speaker 2: pick this shit up. No, I need Dan Gable quotes.
- 23:48Speaker 2: I need nothing but Dan Gable quotes. I see what
- 23:50Speaker 2: he's saying now. Missard. I got one here from Barbie Hayes.
- 23:56Speaker 2: Barbie Hayson. Whatever. 6286 on YouTube. Just an idea to
- 24:03Speaker 2: help Ru eat her supper. Here we go.
- 24:05Speaker 1: Start simple. You said you had meatballs, veggies, and rice.
- 24:09Speaker 1: Maybe if she helped make parts of the meal, she
- 24:12Speaker 1: would see her accomplish and want to eat it. They
- 24:15Speaker 1: have cutting knives for kids that aren't sharp enough to
- 24:18Speaker 1: cut them, but will cut up vegetables. She could measure
- 24:20Speaker 1: out the rice and put it in the saucepan. She
- 24:24Speaker 1: could help form a few meatballs. They may not turn
- 24:27Speaker 1: out round, but those would be the ones she could
- 24:29Speaker 1: eat because she made them herself. I know it will
- 24:31Speaker 1: take more time to make supper, but it might help
- 24:34Speaker 1: her eat.
- 24:37Speaker 2: We ain't got time. We ain't got time for that.
- 24:40Speaker 2: We ain't got time for that. Just a random gong hit. Yeah,
- 24:46Speaker 2: I'm with you. But also, how about eat what's on
- 24:49Speaker 2: your plate? Yeah. Yeah. Eat what's on your plate. Hey,
- 24:52Speaker 2: that got some clicks this last week. I was seeing
- 24:55Speaker 2: it get a little traction with the quote graphics. Shout
- 24:57Speaker 2: out the quote graphics. Hey, shout out.
- 25:00Speaker 1: It's just, you know, it's a tale as old as time.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Just getting the kiddos to eat.
- 25:05Speaker 2: And I'm just trying to enjoy those moments right now
- 25:08Speaker 2: when we're doing, God, I forget the name of the dish.
- 25:12Speaker 2: But we have like a little pasta dish last night
- 25:15Speaker 2: and Scarlett's just hounding it. And I'm like, one of
- 25:18Speaker 2: these days I'm going to, it's, you know, I'm going
- 25:22Speaker 2: to be fighting for my life like Willie C trying
- 25:24Speaker 2: to get her to eat her food. I'm sure you will.
- 25:26Speaker 2: Be stroking off. They just, they hit a phase. They
- 25:30Speaker 2: hit a phase where the simple things that they'll eat
- 25:33Speaker 2: all the time. whether it's your chicken nuggets, your pasta,
- 25:38Speaker 2: or noodles with red sauce, because it won't be all
- 25:42Speaker 2: the pastas. If it's something they got little green pieces
- 25:44Speaker 2: or little different colors that they're not familiar with, to them,
- 25:47Speaker 2: they're like, I don't like it. Well, you've never tried it. Yeah.
- 25:50Speaker 1: I'm telling you it'll be good if you just take
- 25:52Speaker 1: a bite. You trust mama and dada. What you got, chef?
- 25:56Speaker 5: At risk of throwing myself in fire here, do your kids,
- 26:00Speaker 5: just a question, do your kids like chicken nuggets at all?
- 26:03Speaker 2: Yeah. Would they like Italian-style breaded chicken nuggets, basically? Same thing.
- 26:11Speaker 2: Would they like chicken nuggets? Yeah, kind of like, but
- 26:13Speaker 2: it's a little variation. Italian breaded chicken nuggets? I'm sure
- 26:18Speaker 2: that they'd like... That's the idea.
- 26:20Speaker 3: Okay.
- 26:20Speaker 2: I just want to know. You're just asking a question. Well,
- 26:25Speaker 2: he's asking you a question of whether or not... He's
- 26:28Speaker 2: also kind of like, hey, would that help?
- 26:32Speaker 5: Like if someone were to bring... Thursday, for any reason,
- 26:36Speaker 5: like they had to come by your house.
- 26:37Speaker 2: Oh, no. I see. You're trying to come over for
- 26:39Speaker 2: some dinner. You're trying to bring some Italian bread and
- 26:41Speaker 2: chicken nuggets over for dinner. I'm coming for the bell. Oh, wait,
- 26:45Speaker 2: that didn't sound right. Answering the bell. You're coming for
- 26:48Speaker 2: the bell. Yeah, the belt. You're coming for the belt.
- 26:51Speaker 2: I'm not saying anything. I'm just throwing out there, would
- 26:54Speaker 2: they enjoy that with a marinara sauce? Yes.
- 26:57Speaker 1: If it's a chicken nugget and then there's red sauce
- 26:59Speaker 1: to go, absolutely. Those are two in the wheelhouse, right? Yeah,
- 27:02Speaker 1: that's what I was- But if you're wanting to get
- 27:03Speaker 1: your kids to eat variety and range, you got to
- 27:06Speaker 1: kind of force them or make them eat other food.
- 27:10Speaker 1: That's the predicament that we're in. It's good food- But
- 27:14Speaker 1: it's not the hits. You know what I mean? It's
- 27:16Speaker 1: not the pasta. It's not the chicken nuggets. It's not
- 27:19Speaker 1: the mac and cheese. Things that they will eat no
- 27:21Speaker 1: matter what. Like they see that on their plate, they're celebrating.
- 27:25Speaker 1: But they see something else, which is the majority of
- 27:27Speaker 1: the time, it's like, shut up.
- 27:32Speaker 2: Get up on your chair. You're going to eat what's
- 27:36Speaker 2: on this plate. Well, I think, but I think what
- 27:39Speaker 2: he's also, if we want to make this official, I
- 27:42Speaker 2: think he's saying he wants to bring dinner.
- 27:43Speaker 5: I hear what he's saying. I was throwing the idea
- 27:46Speaker 5: around last night. Like I was sitting there, I wasn't
- 27:48Speaker 5: going to make anything official. I was going to throw
- 27:50Speaker 5: it out. Hey, would they love like chicken cutlets and, um,
- 27:54Speaker 5: you know, a red sauce that for me is easy
- 27:56Speaker 5: to do. I know it's a hit whenever I make
- 27:59Speaker 5: it for my roommates all the time.
- 28:01Speaker 1: Chef saying that he might be coming over my house
- 28:03Speaker 1: for dinner. I was floating that around my head too.
- 28:05Speaker 1: If I wanted you around my kids.
- 28:07Speaker 3: Yeah, of.
- 28:10Speaker 2: Course. Uh, chef, he's traveling with me. I have too
- 28:15Speaker 2: much power with the go with the stick.
- 28:31Speaker 1: Chef's rocking with me this weekend because we're going to
- 28:33Speaker 1: be doing a For the Dads vlog where he's with
- 28:35Speaker 1: me around like the morning routine, going into the travel days,
- 28:40Speaker 1: like stuff that goes into that. But we will be
- 28:41Speaker 1: doing like a personalized For the Dads vlog. Keep an
- 28:44Speaker 1: eye out on that. But Chef will be staying at
- 28:46Speaker 1: my house on Thursday.
- 28:48Speaker 2: Okay yeah okay so maybe so maybe some.
- 28:52Speaker 1: Dinner yeah i was thinking in my head i'm like
- 28:55Speaker 1: okay well he lives all the way up there and
- 28:57Speaker 1: then i'm like oh no he lives in town now
- 28:59Speaker 1: yeah so he lives a little bit closer so he
- 29:01Speaker 1: could in theory come over after the kids go to
- 29:04Speaker 1: sleep should i invite him over then or should i
- 29:06Speaker 1: have him partake i was thinking.
- 29:07Speaker 5: About what you're gonna do too and i was like
- 29:09Speaker 5: i didn't just know i can i know any kind
- 29:13Speaker 5: of fire i'll walk in with a big smile But
- 29:16Speaker 5: I don't want to get in you and Charo's way either.
- 29:18Speaker 2: So I was thinking about it. You wouldn't be getting
- 29:20Speaker 2: in our way. We'd be having you over for dinner.
- 29:22Speaker 2: That'd be awesome. Yeah. Yeah. Is it official? Him coming
- 29:26Speaker 2: over for dinner? And him bringing cutlets? Possibly. Yeah, let's
- 29:31Speaker 2: keep it at a possible. I actually have very good
- 29:34Speaker 2: reason for the possibly, which we can talk about.
- 29:36Speaker 5: Got it got it got it i i too want
- 29:38Speaker 5: it to be a very nothing in stone yet i
- 29:40Speaker 5: wanted to throw it out there and just see where
- 29:42Speaker 5: yeah you're at on it.
- 29:42Speaker 2: Yeah kids would love chicken cutlets i was thinking about
- 29:45Speaker 2: what would they some red sauce what would they love
- 29:47Speaker 2: yeah and if you bring over some cookies to get
- 29:49Speaker 2: it for after i'm telling you it's a it's a
- 29:52Speaker 2: you'll get to see a dance party They love chocolate chip.
- 29:56Speaker 2: I have a from scratch chocolate chip recipe.
- 29:57Speaker 1: Scotty would just break off like a little piece of
- 30:00Speaker 1: the crust on the edge of any cookie to make
- 30:01Speaker 1: her feel like she's getting a cookie. If it's like
- 30:04Speaker 1: cookie after dinner, if you're part of the clean plate club,
- 30:08Speaker 1: Rue gets her small portion.
- 30:10Speaker 2: Scotty will just break off a little piece. Oh, Scotty,
- 30:12Speaker 2: you get a cookie too? She runs off and hides
- 30:14Speaker 2: in a corner. Oh my gosh. Well, just let me know.
- 30:20Speaker 1: Maybe you can do bedtime. One of the bedtimes. Maybe
- 30:23Speaker 1: like with Rue, I'll have you read her a book.
- 30:25Speaker 1: We can both sit in there together. I'll put you
- 30:28Speaker 1: in the chair. We're going to listen to Uncle Chef.
- 30:33Speaker 2: With Rue sitting in your lap, one million percent, y'all
- 30:37Speaker 2: on the ground and y'all are listening to Uncle Chef.
- 30:39Speaker 2: I'm guessing I get no say in what book is
- 30:41Speaker 2: going to be read. It's going to be up to her.
- 30:45Speaker 2: She might ask for a story to where you'll need
- 30:47Speaker 2: to think on your feet and make up a story.
- 30:49Speaker 2: She's asking for two books with this guy, maybe even three.
- 30:53Speaker 2: She'll want a story.
- 30:53Speaker 1: I'm telling you right now. She's a story fiend. Like
- 30:56Speaker 1: last night, she finally talked to me in a one
- 30:58Speaker 1: hall of fame story. By the way, I put on
- 31:00Speaker 1: an absolute clinic to where you could probably write a
- 31:02Speaker 1: movie script about it.
- 31:03Speaker 2: Okay. Okay.
- 31:04Speaker 1: But gave her a great story because she loves bad guys.
- 31:07Speaker 1: But part of me is like, you know, parents out
- 31:10Speaker 1: there know, like if your kids are like into bad
- 31:12Speaker 1: guys or I want something scary and it's like, yeah,
- 31:14Speaker 1: I know you do. But then when I tell you
- 31:16Speaker 1: this story, if it's scary or there's bad guys that
- 31:19Speaker 1: are kind of terrifying, like you might have nightmares or
- 31:21Speaker 1: then you're, you're, you're leaving your room after I leave
- 31:24Speaker 1: because now you're scared of the shadows.
- 31:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:26Speaker 1: Now you're scared of the wolves that might be outside.
- 31:28Speaker 1: And I, even though I told you that it was
- 31:29Speaker 1: purely imagination.
- 31:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:31Speaker 1: So you just got to like, there's a fine line
- 31:34Speaker 1: toward the one I said last. I'll give you just
- 31:36Speaker 1: a quick, quick synopsis. There's a diamond that Tigey wanted
- 31:42Speaker 1: to go get for her, for his mom's birthday.
- 31:45Speaker 2: Okay.
- 31:45Speaker 1: This diamond was, you can only find it at giant,
- 31:50Speaker 1: What was it that Rue came up with? I was like,
- 31:52Speaker 1: what do you want to name the island? Giant Mountain Island.
- 31:56Speaker 2: Okay.
- 31:57Speaker 1: So the diamond is on Giant Mountain Island. There's two
- 31:59Speaker 1: options for Taiki. He could either buy this diamond, but
- 32:02Speaker 1: Taiki has no money. And Zooey and Princess Rue, they
- 32:06Speaker 1: were all figuring out how Taiki could get this diamond
- 32:09Speaker 1: for his mom's birthday. Taiki's like, I don't have any money.
- 32:12Speaker 1: So they did some research. On their own, they went
- 32:15Speaker 1: to the library, was reading some books, and Zooey was like,
- 32:18Speaker 1: you can go find this diamond on Giant Mountain Island.
- 32:21Speaker 1: Lion will lend us his boat. So the entire goal
- 32:25Speaker 1: is to go get this diamond on Giant Mountain Island.
- 32:27Speaker 2: Yeah. The lure is there's giants on the island, but
- 32:31Speaker 2: nobody knows for sure. Is it myth? Is it real?
- 32:35Speaker 1: So Lion lends them the boat. They tell their parents
- 32:37Speaker 1: they're going to go play outside. Yeah. They hit the dock.
- 32:41Speaker 1: Lion's waiting on the boat. Are you guys sure you'll
- 32:43Speaker 1: be able to get there and back?
- 32:44Speaker 2: We're sure. Princess Rue, she's going to drive the boat.
- 32:47Speaker 2: There's two.
- 32:49Speaker 1: adversaries are two points of adversity in the story. The
- 32:52Speaker 1: first one is taking the boat. All of a sudden
- 32:54Speaker 1: the storm comes in. They got to figure out how
- 32:56Speaker 1: to still get to the island, but a little Cardinal bird,
- 32:59Speaker 1: you know, you want a mentor or a guide in
- 33:01Speaker 1: every story.
- 33:02Speaker 2: Cardinal flies over, just get to the rock. It'll block
- 33:04Speaker 2: the wind. We'll get you safely to shore. They get off.
- 33:07Speaker 2: They're terrified to go into the jungle now to go
- 33:09Speaker 2: find this diamond. Yep. But Cardinal says, I haven't seen
- 33:13Speaker 2: any giants here. Like that's folklore for the mainland. Yeah, yeah.
- 33:17Speaker 2: Everybody thinks there are. They're not giants. They're gorillas.
- 33:19Speaker 1: The gorillas are blocking the caves that the diamond's in.
- 33:22Speaker 1: They have to distract the gorillas. They throw a stick.
- 33:25Speaker 2: Gorillas run.
- 33:25Speaker 1: They go in the cave. But now that they got
- 33:28Speaker 1: the diamond, now they got to come out of the cave.
- 33:30Speaker 1: But the gorillas are now back and are there. But
- 33:32Speaker 1: Princess Rue, they pack snacks in their backpack. And Princess
- 33:35Speaker 1: Rue had a. a batch of bananas to give to
- 33:38Speaker 1: the gorillas. So they ended up nice. So you get
- 33:40Speaker 1: a little, I trust me. I was setting her up
- 33:42Speaker 1: to where she was like scared.
- 33:43Speaker 2: Like, okay, now they got it. The gorillas are there. Yada, yada.
- 33:46Speaker 2: So either she's kind of terrified, but then it's like, Oh,
- 33:48Speaker 2: they gave him the bananas. Now they're nice gorillas.
- 33:50Speaker 5: Uh-huh.
- 33:51Speaker 2: You get back, give the mom the birthday gift.
- 33:54Speaker 3: Uh, it was.
- 33:55Speaker 2: Yeah. That's a clinic. If you want to talk about
- 33:58Speaker 2: riding the fine line of, am I going to have
- 34:01Speaker 2: to have my daughter sleep in my bed tonight? Because I,
- 34:04Speaker 2: I went a little too OD.
- 34:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 34:07Speaker 2: And it was boring. It wasn't scary enough. You rode
- 34:10Speaker 2: the line of the perfect story.
- 34:11Speaker 5: See, that's where I'd be terrified, is that I would
- 34:13Speaker 5: go too far, and then I got Will looking at
- 34:16Speaker 5: me going, what the fuck, dude?
- 34:18Speaker 2: Like, my kid won't go to bed now because of you.
- 34:19Speaker 1: I would only do that to bust your balls. I
- 34:21Speaker 1: would know, because I've been in those pockets where I
- 34:23Speaker 1: choose to go... there was one where it was like, it's,
- 34:26Speaker 1: it's a guy with a mask and he's trying to,
- 34:28Speaker 1: he's trying to kill. I'm realizing that I'm getting a
- 34:32Speaker 1: little too out there.
- 34:33Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 34:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 34:33Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 34:34Speaker 2: It's where I need to reel it in. Cause she's
- 34:36Speaker 2: going to have a lot of questions. What were her
- 34:39Speaker 2: questions after that one? Why did he have something sharp
- 34:42Speaker 2: or a knife? And I'm truly trying to talk her
- 34:45Speaker 2: completely away from... It's a fake knife. Did I even
- 34:49Speaker 2: say knife? I don't think I said that. It was
- 34:51Speaker 2: a butter knife.
- 34:52Speaker 1: It's always three characters, Zooey, Princess Rue, and Tigey. And
- 34:55Speaker 1: in that particular story, the masked person kidnapped Tigey. And
- 35:02Speaker 1: when Princess Rue.
- 35:05Speaker 2: They were all having a snowball fight outside. I love it.
- 35:12Speaker 2: This is a horror film. And then when Princess Ruins.
- 35:15Speaker 2: This is what Scotty wants. When Princess Rue.
- 35:19Speaker 1: And Zooey went to find Tigey, they came across this cabin,
- 35:22Speaker 1: smoke coming out of the chimney.
- 35:24Speaker 2: They lean up. There's a fireplace inside, so you get the.
- 35:27Speaker 1: Orange lighting coming out of the window, and you peek
- 35:28Speaker 1: above the window. Tigey was in a cage, and the
- 35:31Speaker 1: masked man was there sharpening a sword.
- 35:35Speaker 2: That's so good, though. It's so good, though.
- 35:39Speaker 1: And how Princess Rue met these wolves that was about
- 35:43Speaker 1: to attack him, but Rue was kind of like in
- 35:45Speaker 1: Jurassic World.
- 35:46Speaker 2: With what's his name?
- 35:48Speaker 5: Yes.
- 35:48Speaker 2: The Velociraptor. Chris Pratt. Calming it down.
- 35:51Speaker 1: Princess Rue does a superhero, calms the wolf down, lets
- 35:54Speaker 1: him with her friends. The wolf saves the day on
- 35:56Speaker 1: the masked man with the sword and takes down the
- 35:59Speaker 1: masked man.
- 35:59Speaker 6: Good.
- 36:01Speaker 2: But all to say, Chef, I've been in those pockets
- 36:04Speaker 2: where you're trying to think and you don't know. You
- 36:06Speaker 2: only know what you know. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 36:09Speaker 5: Is it a good idea to like emulate a story
- 36:11Speaker 5: you already know that they won't know and just change
- 36:13Speaker 5: names and change locations?
- 36:15Speaker 2: Like I've done Lion King. I've ran some of those playbooks.
- 36:18Speaker 5: I'm thinking like magical princess trapped in a castle with
- 36:21Speaker 5: like an evil witch and the hero's tie comes in
- 36:25Speaker 5: and then there's like a big monster. There's a river
- 36:28Speaker 5: monster in the moat. They have to get over that.
- 36:30Speaker 5: No one has passed in hundreds of years, you know.
- 36:32Speaker 6: Yes.
- 36:33Speaker 2: You're on the right track. You're on the right track. Oh, hey,
- 36:37Speaker 2: there was this banker who killed his wife. Well, he
- 36:40Speaker 2: didn't actually kill his wife. So Tyge finally gets out
- 36:44Speaker 2: of the clink and doesn't know what to do with
- 36:46Speaker 2: his life. So Tyge hangs himself. I hate to say that.
- 36:50Speaker 2: But before he did it, he carved in Tyge was
- 36:53Speaker 2: here in the raptor.
- 36:57Speaker 1: The things you got to think about are the interactions
- 37:00Speaker 1: between the bad guy and the hero, whoever's the hero
- 37:03Speaker 1: in your story.
- 37:04Speaker 2: Those are the only details.
- 37:05Speaker 1: Because if you don't have a plane going in, you'll
- 37:07Speaker 1: lean on things that only it's like violence or.
- 37:10Speaker 2: Defeats or punching.
- 37:12Speaker 5: You need something like where like the witch is only
- 37:14Speaker 5: the witch because of like, she doesn't have any love
- 37:17Speaker 5: in her heart because something happened. And the key to
- 37:19Speaker 5: getting back was to learn to love that person again.
- 37:22Speaker 2: And you teach a lesson at the end of the day.
- 37:25Speaker 2: And the third character... Uh, not Princess Rue or Tigey.
- 37:29Speaker 2: What's a- Zooey. Zooey. And what is Zooey? Is Zooey
- 37:32Speaker 2: an animal?
- 37:32Speaker 1: Zooey, like, if I saw, say I go into a story.
- 37:35Speaker 1: The same way, chef, and I'm sitting here, here's how
- 37:37Speaker 1: you game plan ahead of time. So for any of
- 37:39Speaker 1: the dads or parents out there going through a phase
- 37:41Speaker 1: like this. When I get to a spot, it's like
- 37:44Speaker 1: the island. Aru wanted me to read her a story.
- 37:47Speaker 1: I thought already about the ending. I'll have two spots
- 37:50Speaker 1: of friction to try and get to this diamond. Because
- 37:53Speaker 1: I don't want to go full bad guy or full
- 37:55Speaker 1: something scary. So the bananas, given the bananas, the grills
- 37:58Speaker 1: were nice. They just don't know humans, so they were fearful.
- 38:01Speaker 1: But then they realize that they're your friends. And then
- 38:03Speaker 1: the other one was just the storm. Are they going
- 38:05Speaker 1: to make it through? And the cardinal comes and tells
- 38:07Speaker 1: them to drive over here. But when I get to
- 38:10Speaker 1: whatever the island's called... I didn't come up with that
- 38:14Speaker 1: part ahead of time. Those things I allow Rue to name.
- 38:17Speaker 1: So if there's three friends, like she made up Zooey.
- 38:20Speaker 1: I'm like, what do you want the third friend to be?
- 38:22Speaker 1: There's Tigey because she has her little Tigey. It's Tigey
- 38:25Speaker 1: and Princess Rue. But who's the third friend of the story?
- 38:27Speaker 1: What do you want her name to be? And she's like, Zooey.
- 38:30Speaker 1: And then if I'm describing details, like on Princess Rue,
- 38:33Speaker 1: I'll know some of Rue's favorite colors. With Taiki, it's orange,
- 38:37Speaker 1: it's black, it's stuff that like Taiki, he's a tiger.
- 38:40Speaker 1: With Zooey, I'll just be like, what's Zooey's favorite color?
- 38:43Speaker 1: And so then she'll give me a color and then
- 38:44Speaker 1: I'll intertwine that into the detail. So that way Rue's
- 38:47Speaker 1: making up the story as well. Like the island, hey,
- 38:49Speaker 1: what do you want to call the island? She's like,
- 38:51Speaker 1: giant mountain. And I was like, giant mountain island.
- 38:55Speaker 2: That's what it's called. Yeah. And then you just, that's
- 38:57Speaker 2: how you introduce it in the story. Yeah. You have
- 39:00Speaker 2: them make stuff up.
- 39:00Speaker 4: What's the redeeming quality of the axe murderer? Because like
- 39:03Speaker 4: the gorillas, they find out they're their friends and all
- 39:05Speaker 4: this stuff.
- 39:06Speaker 2: Where was that one, dude?
- 39:06Speaker 1: That was one where I went into, she wanted a story.
- 39:09Speaker 1: I just, I wasn't thinking. So I was like, I'm
- 39:12Speaker 1: going to come up with something. They're playing outside. You
- 39:14Speaker 1: got three friends. You introduce the scene. They're all hanging
- 39:17Speaker 1: out at the house. They're going to have a weekend together.
- 39:23Speaker 1: They're all playing outside a snowball fight and they're all
- 39:26Speaker 1: kind of hiding from each other. And then all of
- 39:28Speaker 1: a sudden a masked man walks up behind taiki taiki
- 39:32Speaker 1: looks up and by the time he looks.
- 39:33Speaker 2: Up He puts a mask over his head and drags
- 39:38Speaker 2: him out. Dies his hands and legs and drags him
- 39:44Speaker 2: to the cabin. Hey, good Stranger Danger. Introduction to Stranger Danger.
- 39:50Speaker 2: Good dad act. The only way they got him back
- 39:53Speaker 2: was they ate a full plate of food. Yeah, there
- 39:55Speaker 2: you go. That was the ransom. You can't get out
- 39:59Speaker 2: of the cage until you eat your meatballs that your
- 40:02Speaker 2: mom made for you. Oh, man, Tyge. It's like I
- 40:06Speaker 2: knew going into that one, I was going to have...
- 40:11Speaker 2: I don't even know. I don't even know. I don't
- 40:13Speaker 2: even know how to talk around that one. But the
- 40:16Speaker 2: whole bad guy thing, it was distract from somebody who's
- 40:18Speaker 2: very scary. Yeah. And then we'll get him up out
- 40:20Speaker 2: of there. Yeah. And I just lost.
- 40:23Speaker 5: I don't.
- 40:23Speaker 1: This is experience from a dad who lost his way
- 40:26Speaker 1: in the middle of story time.
- 40:27Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 40:28Speaker 2: You were waxing poetic. Hero's journey. You have the mentor.
- 40:31Speaker 2: It was perfect. I think you crushed it. Then the
- 40:34Speaker 2: one was a horror film. Yeah. I told her a slasher.
- 40:37Speaker 2: I gave her a slasher. We are embracing Spooktober. Sue me.
- 40:40Speaker 2: It's Spooktober.
- 40:40Speaker 6: Spooktober.
- 40:43Speaker 2: Oh my gosh. I don't even know where we go
- 40:46Speaker 2: from here. Dad losses? I mean, that kind of is
- 40:49Speaker 2: a nice little segue. A big month.
- 40:53Speaker 1: Charo is going all in on costumes. Rue loves Where
- 40:57Speaker 1: the Wild Things Are. We've seen the movie. It's a
- 41:01Speaker 1: dog shit film. Don't watch it. The book, you read
- 41:05Speaker 1: the whole Where the Wild Things Are. We read that
- 41:07Speaker 1: a lot.
- 41:07Speaker 2: Oh, got it. Like the live action. Yes, yes. You'll
- 41:11Speaker 2: watch it and you'll be like, we're wasting our time
- 41:12Speaker 2: right here. Okay. It's kind of weird. It's kind of
- 41:14Speaker 2: one of those ones where you're like, ew, like they
- 41:16Speaker 2: did that? Yeah, yeah, yeah. But Charles making.
- 41:21Speaker 1: us all where the wild things are like characters and
- 41:24Speaker 1: she's like she's doing the costumes herself like paper mache
- 41:28Speaker 1: mass like she's going all in that's what she says.
- 41:30Speaker 4: No because last year to bring everyone back you were
- 41:34Speaker 4: very upset for which emotion you got.
- 41:37Speaker 2: You were you were fear i believe yeah i was
- 41:40Speaker 2: fear hey you crushed the execution you crushed the execution
- 41:48Speaker 2: Get Matty O to throw that pick up. Oh, man. Oh,
- 41:54Speaker 2: but yeah, dad losses, man. Charla's in her bag with that. Yeah, look,
- 41:59Speaker 2: it hasn't been done yet. Yeah.
- 42:01Speaker 1: She knows she's got to put a lot of time
- 42:02Speaker 1: into it, but she's like, I want... I'm trying to
- 42:05Speaker 1: go all in. Dude, I actually do kind of have
- 42:07Speaker 1: a dad loss for that. Just segueing into the Halloween
- 42:11Speaker 1: and dad losses. We have a wedding in Chicago that
- 42:15Speaker 1: Jill and I are very excited for. We're not upset
- 42:18Speaker 1: that we're going to this wedding, but it's on Halloween night.
- 42:23Speaker 6: What?
- 42:24Speaker 2: I know.
- 42:24Speaker 4: Is it themed? Is it themed? Because I went to
- 42:26Speaker 4: one and it wasn't and I was pissed off.
- 42:27Speaker 2: The way you're missing out. Fully agreed.
- 42:32Speaker 4: But if they're really cool people and they make it
- 42:34Speaker 4: a Halloween wedding, I at least feel like you went
- 42:37Speaker 4: to something on Halloween. The people we went to, it
- 42:40Speaker 4: was just a normal, stupid wedding.
- 42:41Speaker 1: Yeah, you're saying at least you're aware that you're making
- 42:44Speaker 1: everybody come to your wedding on a holiday.
- 42:46Speaker 2: Deke, the vibes of this couple. Are very fun and
- 42:51Speaker 2: very cool. And I'm hearing rumors of stuff at the
- 42:56Speaker 2: reception that would be Halloween themed. I'm hearing rumors. Jill
- 43:01Speaker 2: and I aren't. What we're sad about is exactly what
- 43:05Speaker 2: Will was saying. The trick-or-treating with Scarlett. Getting her in
- 43:09Speaker 2: that costume. But Mama Lisa is, Gammy, is coming to
- 43:16Speaker 2: town and she's going to be watching Scarlett at the house.
- 43:19Speaker 2: They will be trick-or-treating. That's fine. Gami will have a
- 43:22Speaker 2: great time having that one-on-one time. She'll love it.
- 43:25Speaker 1: But just as parents, and you got one-year-old Scarce. And
- 43:29Speaker 1: she's just now walking. Yeah, getting to put her in
- 43:31Speaker 1: an adorable costume.
- 43:33Speaker 4: Yes.
- 43:34Speaker 2: So a dad loss, but with silver lining. You're finding
- 43:38Speaker 2: the silver lining. We're finding the silver lining. You have to. Yeah,
- 43:41Speaker 2: you have to.
- 43:42Speaker 1: We got a couple bad dad loss write-ins here. I
- 43:47Speaker 1: got a really bad one. I'm going to start here
- 43:49Speaker 1: with Gary Smith. He sent it via email. 601thedads at gmail.com.
- 43:53Speaker 2: What's up, boys?
- 43:54Speaker 1: Gary here from Kent, Ohio. Day one sicko. Boys, I
- 43:59Speaker 1: got myself in a situation. I have a nine-year-old boy, Caleb,
- 44:02Speaker 1: and a four-year-old boy, Crew. I love the boy-dad life
- 44:05Speaker 1: and raising young men. But as you could guess, sometimes
- 44:09Speaker 1: things get a little wild around the house. Dad may
- 44:12Speaker 1: have slid in a Deez Nuts joke. With the older boy, Caleb.
- 44:18Speaker 1: Caleb is nine.
- 44:19Speaker 2: Okay.
- 44:19Speaker 1: Some might say it's a little soon with him only
- 44:21Speaker 1: being nine. But if you were there, some might say
- 44:25Speaker 1: it was the perfect opportunity for a Deez Nuts joke.
- 44:28Speaker 1: Either way, I got my full circle moment because about
- 44:30Speaker 1: a week later, mom gets a call from the principal.
- 44:34Speaker 3: Oh.
- 44:35Speaker 1: Thank the Lord he is a friend of mine and
- 44:37Speaker 1: we coach a little league baseball together. Either way, here
- 44:41Speaker 1: I am sitting at work thinking my lady is calling
- 44:44Speaker 1: me to say she loves me or ask me what
- 44:45Speaker 1: I want for dinner.
- 44:47Speaker 2: Buddy, I was wrong. Your boy got a 10 minute
- 44:50Speaker 2: lecture of why I'm a dumbass.
- 44:53Speaker 4: Oh, perfect.
- 44:54Speaker 3: Good.
- 44:54Speaker 1: Long story short, ended up getting home, tail tucked between
- 44:58Speaker 1: my legs as I opened the door, fearing for my
- 45:00Speaker 1: safety and my oldest boy's safety. End up getting the
- 45:04Speaker 1: you're a dumbass look when I walk in. You boys
- 45:06Speaker 1: know what I'm talking about. And another five-minute lecture in
- 45:10Speaker 1: the bedroom later that night. Oh, T's and P's to
- 45:13Speaker 1: my boy Gary.
- 45:14Speaker 4: Buddy.
- 45:15Speaker 1: As I'm cooking dinner that night, it took everything I
- 45:17Speaker 1: had of me not to ask Caleb what setup was
- 45:21Speaker 1: used for the Deez Nuts joke.
- 45:23Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 45:23Speaker 2: If I don't comment on next week's Sode, send help.
- 45:26Speaker 2: Sicko out. What I was about to say, I mean,
- 45:30Speaker 2: we got to know what the execution was.
- 45:32Speaker 1: Yeah, because if you're standing there with Caleb and you're like, hey, buddy, listen,
- 45:36Speaker 1: you can't do that again.
- 45:37Speaker 2: But also, how'd you set it up? Like what happened?
- 45:40Speaker 2: Did you set it up clean? Like, did you ask
- 45:44Speaker 2: him or did you tell him you saw their friend Phillip?
- 45:46Speaker 2: Maybe they were like, who's Phillip? Or, you know, something
- 45:51Speaker 2: like that. Like, hey, who's the great linebacker number 52
- 45:53Speaker 2: for the 49ers? Patrick.
- 45:56Speaker 5: Oh.
- 45:56Speaker 2: Did you hit him with that? Or what's that new
- 46:00Speaker 2: film that just came out? It's like the big epic.
- 46:01Speaker 2: You'll have to read it for summer reading in high school. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 46:05Speaker 2: Did you ask him, do you know anything about tapes
- 46:06Speaker 2: and CDs? Maybe.
- 46:12Speaker 5: Maybe.
- 46:12Speaker 2: Hey, but also stop talking about it. Yeah, yeah, don't
- 46:15Speaker 2: do that. Don't do that. This one comes from Jordan Skaden.
- 46:20Speaker 2: Before I read this, I just want to issue a
- 46:22Speaker 2: blanket apology. Blanket apology goes out from me. And now
- 46:27Speaker 2: I will read this dad loss. Okay. Fellas, hope y'all
- 46:30Speaker 2: are absolutely ripping. I've been suffering from a dad loss
- 46:33Speaker 2: for the past few months and wasn't sure whether to
- 46:35Speaker 2: blame it on the pod or myself. The week may
- 46:38Speaker 2: have been two weeks before Mother's Day. My wife was
- 46:41Speaker 2: out of town for work. Must be nice. So as
- 46:44Speaker 2: any great dad, he wrote that. So as any great
- 46:48Speaker 2: dad would do, I took it upon myself to drive
- 46:52Speaker 2: my twin three-year-old boys to school. It's a Wednesday at
- 46:55Speaker 2: 8 a.m. So you already know I have the pod on.
- 46:58Speaker 2: It's blasting because I don't want to hear those feral
- 47:01Speaker 2: hogs in the backseat. All of a sudden, I hear
- 47:03Speaker 2: on the pod, oh my fucking God. Not to name names,
- 47:07Speaker 2: but it may have rhymed with Herman. I thought to myself,
- 47:12Speaker 2: oh shit, we're eight minutes out from school and the
- 47:14Speaker 2: pod is dropping F-bombs. I look in the rear view
- 47:17Speaker 2: mirror and it appears the boys don't hear it. And
- 47:20Speaker 2: then an oh my fucking God is dropped not once,
- 47:25Speaker 2: but two more times. Oh no. I immediately turn it
- 47:30Speaker 2: off and say, all right, boys, time to listen to music.
- 47:32Speaker 2: 15 seconds later, I hear from the back, oh my
- 47:35Speaker 2: fucking God, oh my fucking God, on repeat.
- 47:41Speaker 6: Oh no.
- 47:43Speaker 2: Side note, at least he didn't say, oh MFG, we
- 47:46Speaker 2: don't say, oh my God, in the house. Oh, so
- 47:50Speaker 2: he was just saying, oh my fucking, oh my fucking,
- 47:52Speaker 2: is what he was saying. Oh, that's good. Okay, okay.
- 47:55Speaker 2: Don't want to use the Lord's name in vain. Yeah,
- 47:56Speaker 2: don't use the Lord's name in vain. So at least
- 47:59Speaker 2: he wasn't saying OMFG because we don't say, oh my God,
- 48:02Speaker 2: in the house. So that's a win. I correct them
- 48:05Speaker 2: and say, we absolutely do not repeat that. Show up
- 48:09Speaker 2: to the carpool line. Teacher gets them out of the
- 48:12Speaker 2: car and I say, so sorry if they dropped the
- 48:14Speaker 2: F-bomb today. I was listening to a podcast and thought
- 48:17Speaker 2: it was family friendly, but apparently I stand corrected. They
- 48:21Speaker 2: have been on me for not taking into account the
- 48:23Speaker 2: name of the pod is for the dads. Anyways, I
- 48:26Speaker 2: told my wife that ain't on me. P.S. My wife
- 48:31Speaker 2: is 10 weeks pregnant and I told her we absolutely
- 48:34Speaker 2: need a girl. Twin boys are no joke. Told her
- 48:36Speaker 2: the statistical research the pod has done and that we
- 48:39Speaker 2: need to look at each other when we are approaching
- 48:42Speaker 2: the top of the hill climb on the shockwave. Boys,
- 48:45Speaker 2: I'm here to report is a scientific fact that we
- 48:48Speaker 2: are having a girl. Let's fucking go. He used the
- 48:51Speaker 2: F word there. I just want to say. He dropped
- 48:53Speaker 2: a lot of F bombs in the whole read. But
- 48:55Speaker 2: he specifically used it right there. He spelled it out.
- 48:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 48:59Speaker 2: And keep doing what we're doing. It's working. Jordan Skaden, Charlotte,
- 49:03Speaker 2: North Carolina. That's tough. I don't know if we've ever
- 49:08Speaker 2: said this is kids friendly. I don't know if we've
- 49:11Speaker 2: ever said that slash I believe we have an explicit
- 49:14Speaker 2: E next to us on Spotify. And also we might
- 49:17Speaker 2: say often this is a kid show. Jokingly. When we
- 49:22Speaker 2: do curse. When we- Yeah, kid show. Kid show. Yeah.
- 49:26Speaker 2: Kid show. Or like when we hit the gong. Yeah.
- 49:30Speaker 2: Maybe we'll just have to do that. Like, oh my-
- 49:35Speaker 2: I can't say the G one either because they don't
- 49:36Speaker 2: say that in their house. I know. Oh my- My
- 49:41Speaker 2: fantasy league has a swear jar for our group chat.
- 49:46Speaker 2: I'm sure it does because you're 0-5. You guys ain't
- 49:49Speaker 2: cussing enough out there. No, my fantasy league. My fantasy league. Yeah,
- 49:54Speaker 2: my flag football team has a swear jar. Y'all need
- 49:58Speaker 2: to be cussing way more. That is good, though. I
- 50:09Speaker 2: will bring up to the team, we do need to
- 50:11Speaker 2: cuss more. Yeah, I got a cuss jar here. And
- 50:13Speaker 2: I got some chew. Grace, put that in your lip.
- 50:22Speaker 2: We're going to win a football game tonight. We're on
- 50:29Speaker 2: the call back to Grace. That was great. Let's go, man.
- 50:33Speaker 2: We locked in. I got a dad hack here from
- 50:35Speaker 2: Corey Nassette on Spotify. Dad hack.
- 50:38Speaker 1: Can't take credit for it. But saw someone online say, oh,
- 50:41Speaker 1: this is embracing the spook right here. Tell their children
- 50:45Speaker 1: that the ice cream truck plays music when they are out.
- 50:48Speaker 2: Of ice cream. Read that one more time. Well, I'm
- 50:53Speaker 2: so sorry.
- 50:54Speaker 1: Can't take credit for this, but saw someone online say
- 50:56Speaker 1: that they tell their children that the ice cream truck
- 50:59Speaker 1: plays music when they are out of ice cream.
- 51:03Speaker 5: Oh, no.
- 51:03Speaker 1: You don't want your kid out to just see, here
- 51:06Speaker 1: comes the ice cream machine.
- 51:07Speaker 2: Let's go get ice cream. Oh, music. That means they're
- 51:09Speaker 2: out of ice cream. Dang it. And they can't kidnap you. Yeah,
- 51:13Speaker 2: and they can't kidnap you. We have Mr. Joe Danger here. Mr.
- 51:21Speaker 2: Joe Danger. Will will not be a fan of this
- 51:23Speaker 2: dad hack. Oh, no. But I could stand corrected. Hey, boys,
- 51:28Speaker 2: PT6 are here with three girls. My seven-year-old is in
- 51:31Speaker 2: picky phase as well. But my dad hack is that
- 51:36Speaker 2: you can eat what is cooked for dinner or you
- 51:38Speaker 2: can have a PB & J. That is always an
- 51:40Speaker 2: option in our house. The kids don't have to like everything,
- 51:43Speaker 2: but they always have an option to ensure they're eating
- 51:46Speaker 2: some protein. Hope this helps, boys. Dinner much easier now. Oh,
- 51:54Speaker 2: so we do like it. I don't mind it. Okay,
- 51:57Speaker 2: we don't mind it.
- 51:57Speaker 1: Some people believe in, hey, you should get some type
- 52:00Speaker 1: of food. Some believe that you're not going to starve.
- 52:04Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah. And if you are starving, you had
- 52:06Speaker 2: your opportunity to figure it out at dinner. So it's
- 52:09Speaker 2: PB & J or this, which now that I'm reading
- 52:12Speaker 2: that and I'm thinking, I'm like, I think I did
- 52:15Speaker 2: have a PB & J back in the day. Think
- 52:19Speaker 2: of that as your fallback, bro. You're going to get
- 52:22Speaker 2: a PB & J? Yeah.
- 52:24Speaker 1: Oh, I don't like what mom made tonight. Oh, I
- 52:26Speaker 1: don't like what's on the dinner table. I'll take a
- 52:27Speaker 1: PB & J.
- 52:28Speaker 2: Yes. I think I did do that. Hmm. and now
- 52:33Speaker 2: i'm i'm i'm on five now i was gonna say
- 52:36Speaker 2: share your flag football record i'm on five now so
- 52:41Speaker 2: bbj's you want to go on five you want to
- 52:44Speaker 2: what you should be doing is you should eat your
- 52:46Speaker 2: dinner and then you should eat a pb and j
- 52:48Speaker 2: and drink a big old fat glass of milk before
- 52:51Speaker 2: you go to bed bro my high school coach make
- 52:53Speaker 2: weight Pound three peanut butter sandwiches at night before bed
- 52:57Speaker 2: with a glass of milk. That's what- To just put
- 52:59Speaker 2: on weight and just start stacking. That's what our football
- 53:01Speaker 2: coaches said too. They're like, and right after dinner too.
- 53:04Speaker 2: That's dessert. Yeah, yeah. That's dessert, man. You just ate
- 53:08Speaker 2: some PBJs. And they would pull dads after practice too
- 53:12Speaker 2: and tell them, hey, get some PBJs in them before
- 53:15Speaker 2: he goes to bed.
- 53:15Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah.
- 53:16Speaker 2: Let's get that weight up on them. Bonus dad hack.
- 53:19Speaker 2: Changing on the ground. Changing tables out. Scarlett's like officially
- 53:26Speaker 2: changing table done. So we've just been putting her on
- 53:29Speaker 2: the ground and doing changing there for anyone at home
- 53:32Speaker 2: that is struggling with getting their kids change. Just put
- 53:36Speaker 2: them on the ground. Yeah, you just do it on
- 53:38Speaker 2: the floor of their room. You gotta change them. Yeah,
- 53:41Speaker 2: you gotta change them. For some reason, she loves it
- 53:44Speaker 2: on the floor instead of the changing table. but the
- 53:48Speaker 2: low back issues getting on the ground. Yeah. You're giving
- 53:51Speaker 2: a dad hack. Like here's how you uplift quality of life.
- 53:55Speaker 2: It has for, for me, it has for me. Cause
- 53:59Speaker 2: it's either five for five minutes or get it done
- 54:02Speaker 2: in one. And I'm, and I'm out. Oh, and five. Oh,
- 54:07Speaker 2: and five. I like how that's just, but I also,
- 54:10Speaker 2: I am. Oh, and five. We'll be, we'll be on
- 54:13Speaker 2: a call, like an actual business call. And I pitch
- 54:15Speaker 2: an idea and it's guys. I just want y'all to
- 54:17Speaker 2: know Sherman's black football team is. Oh, and five. If
- 54:20Speaker 2: y'all are not crazy about that idea, we don't have
- 54:22Speaker 2: to run with that. Trust me. They're struggling right now.
- 54:28Speaker 2: Oh my gosh. Crack a cold one? Yes.
- 54:30Speaker 1: The crack a cold one brought to us by Olipop,
- 54:33Speaker 1: but specifically caramel apple Olipop. Go get that in the fridge.
- 54:36Speaker 1: Go make you a caramel apple Olipop float. My crack
- 54:40Speaker 1: a cold one is Scotty elevating in the world. I
- 54:44Speaker 1: alluded to it at the top of the episode, but
- 54:46Speaker 1: Scotty is now swimming with just the teacher at our
- 54:51Speaker 1: swim lessons.
- 54:52Speaker 2: Not with mama.
- 54:54Speaker 1: Not with any of us that go to the swim
- 54:57Speaker 1: lesson with her.
- 54:58Speaker 2: But now she is solo with the teacher. So she's
- 55:01Speaker 2: bumped up. They're like, hey, we can raise her up
- 55:02Speaker 2: a notch. I think she can swim with the big boys.
- 55:06Speaker 2: But with the big boys, like still have her being held. Yeah. Sorry,
- 55:11Speaker 2: I ask this all the time. How old is Scotty?
- 55:13Speaker 2: Scotty is going to be two in November. That's big, right? Yeah.
- 55:19Speaker 2: Like for being able to do solo swim. Before two? Yeah,
- 55:24Speaker 2: she's with the teacher. Yeah, yeah. She's not like swimming
- 55:27Speaker 2: on her own. Guiding her.
- 55:28Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 55:29Speaker 2: I think that's huge. She's a little stud. Yeah. Scotty's
- 55:33Speaker 2: a little stud. She's a little menace. Is that the athlete?
- 55:35Speaker 2: Are we thinking? I don't know. I don't know. Like Rue,
- 55:37Speaker 2: Rue's got a lot of good ability. Rue can swim too. Yeah,
- 55:40Speaker 2: Rue can.
- 55:41Speaker 1: Now that I think about it. Yeah, Rue can swim.
- 55:43Speaker 1: You saw, well, it was Klump. I saw her dive
- 55:45Speaker 1: down for that story I told a few episodes back.
- 55:47Speaker 2: Yeah. Rue can swim. Even six months ago and you're
- 55:51Speaker 2: introducing the Torpedo tour and stuff Just in y'all's backyard
- 55:55Speaker 2: pool Yeah Girl can swim Yeah I don't know who's
- 55:58Speaker 2: gonna be the athlete Yet somebody will show themselves Maybe
- 56:00Speaker 2: both Who knows Yeah I was about to say Maybe
- 56:02Speaker 2: both Some are saying But yeah that's my That's my
- 56:05Speaker 2: uh Crack a cold one And by the way Just
- 56:07Speaker 2: to let my wife know Scotty's birthday is November 12th
- 56:11Speaker 2: Good Good I think July Hang on hang on July
- 56:17Speaker 2: 3rd is I can't help you Is Scarlet's Oh shit
- 56:20Speaker 2: Oh no I believe it's the 12th. This might be like,
- 56:23Speaker 2: we have to cut this. Chef, final. I don't know.
- 56:26Speaker 2: I don't even think it's a joke. I can like
- 56:27Speaker 2: leave this one.
- 56:28Speaker 1: I told the seizure story before and said, well, I said,
- 56:33Speaker 1: I alluded to it, I think on last week's pod,
- 56:35Speaker 1: didn't I?
- 56:36Speaker 2: Yeah, you did.
- 56:37Speaker 1: And kind of recap that whole thing again. I want
- 56:39Speaker 1: to say you asked about what age she was and
- 56:41Speaker 1: I was like saying like close to two. I think
- 56:43Speaker 1: I've done that exact same thing earlier.
- 56:45Speaker 2: Really early in the pod. Deja vu, but Rue was
- 56:48Speaker 2: eight months old when the seizure took place. Not two
- 56:51Speaker 2: years old. So again, my wife, she was corrected in
- 56:52Speaker 2: the APR report.
- 56:55Speaker 1: And I'm sitting there and I'm like, I think I
- 56:56Speaker 1: did the exact same thing and also had to correct
- 56:59Speaker 1: myself the next week.
- 57:00Speaker 2: That's what happens, fellas. I do want to... November 12th.
- 57:05Speaker 2: November 12th. Yes. Okay. Yes, sir. And I want to
- 57:08Speaker 2: lock in final answer to Regis. July 3rd is Scarlett's birthday.
- 57:15Speaker 2: Just to lock that in. Just like that. Just to
- 57:17Speaker 2: let our wives know we are on top of the birthdays.
- 57:19Speaker 2: We're on top of the birthdays. I have a holiday
- 57:20Speaker 2: to help me though. It makes it kind of easy.
- 57:24Speaker 1: My, my, my rolled X's is ruse four, three, two.
- 57:27Speaker 1: So four, three, 2022. And Scotty's is.
- 57:30Speaker 2: 11, 12. Oh, that is 11, 12, 11, 12, 11, 12.
- 57:34Speaker 2: And I have happy birthday. Will happy birthday, Jill, but
- 57:38Speaker 2: flip that. Yeah. Yeah. Understood. Um, my crack, a cold one.
- 57:42Speaker 2: I got my first kiss from Scarlett. I got my
- 57:47Speaker 2: first kiss from Scarlett. How'd that feel?
- 57:49Speaker 5: Unreal.
- 57:50Speaker 2: I actually, and this is not for the cameras. I
- 57:53Speaker 2: teared up because it was awesome. Like I tried to
- 57:57Speaker 2: kiss her on the cheek and stuff. And she's in
- 58:00Speaker 2: pull away phase, like big time with mom and dad,
- 58:03Speaker 2: like trying to give her extra cuddles because she's like,
- 58:05Speaker 2: I can walk now. I'm a big girl. I don't
- 58:07Speaker 2: need anybody touching me and let me do it. And
- 58:12Speaker 2: we're sitting at dinner and she loves dinner. She's a
- 58:16Speaker 2: big eater right now. Thank God. Knock on wood. And
- 58:21Speaker 2: she loves talking to us at dinner too. Like she's
- 58:23Speaker 2: showing us her food and like, you know, yeah, that's right, honey.
- 58:29Speaker 2: Eat it. And then, you know, well, whenever she does
- 58:32Speaker 2: take bites, we always go like, goodbye. And so now
- 58:34Speaker 2: whenever she takes a bite, she just starts going like that,
- 58:38Speaker 2: like goodbye, goodbye. But mid dinner, she looks over at
- 58:42Speaker 2: me and she goes, okay, which she rarely does the
- 58:47Speaker 2: hold me or pick me up to me, especially during dinner.
- 58:51Speaker 2: And so I go, oh, what do you want food-wise, Scarlett?
- 58:55Speaker 2: Because sometimes she likes stuff off dad's plate. And she
- 58:58Speaker 2: just goes, I'm like, oh. So I close my eyes
- 59:04Speaker 2: and go, and then open my eyes to see if
- 59:07Speaker 2: that's what she was wanting. And she kept leaning. forward
- 59:10Speaker 2: and going, I gave her a little kiss on the nose.
- 59:14Speaker 2: I love that. It was wild. When was this? Saturday,
- 59:19Speaker 2: this Saturday. First win? That was after Thursday night. You
- 59:30Speaker 2: think it's like a sympathy kiss? But I'm saying sympathy kiss,
- 59:34Speaker 2: but we got a game this Thursday. Yeah, we got
- 59:36Speaker 2: a game this Thursday. So it could be the first win.
- 59:39Speaker 2: It could be the good luck charm that we need.
- 59:41Speaker 2: Maybe she doesn't know you're 0-5. Maybe you wouldn't have
- 59:44Speaker 2: got the kiss. I think she can tell body language wise.
- 59:47Speaker 2: That I was a little down. Yeah, she sees me
- 59:49Speaker 2: around the house a little bit and it's like, I
- 59:53Speaker 2: don't have tape to watch. Work in the door frames
- 59:55Speaker 2: a little bit. I think. Got to get our first win, though.
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: We really do. We got to figure something out there.
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: You guys talk about it as a team. Like, you
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: bring up the 0-5. Are you guys all like, oh,
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: we should just get a beer and hang out after? Like,
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: what's the Maround vibes of the team? You know they
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: don't bring it up. Come on. You heard the way
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: that they were talking about having fun. He's not going
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: to throw his team under the bus. He doesn't want
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: to pull a hammy. Yeah, he doesn't know them. I'm
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: not going to throw my team under the bus. But
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: I will say this. There's a lot of going. It's
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: a lot of young energy and singles wanting to meet singles.
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: I'm the only married guy on the team. I'm the
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: oldest by like seven years. It's a have fun vibe,
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: but there were armbands with plays on them for like
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: the first couple weeks, which I've played in flag teams.
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: I've never, ever done that before. And we did have
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: wins on those other flag teams. You know, I'm there.
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: I'm just happy I'm not pulling anything. I'm having a
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: lot of fun doing it. so your team's worried about
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: chasing tail more than they are catching worried about chasing
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: tail make maybe making a little too complicated on offense
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: with calling plays between each thing like everybody else in
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: the league does not have play call.
- 1:01:11Speaker 5: Sheets oh wait you guys are the only ones wristbands
- 1:01:14Speaker 5: in your own five yeah oh that's brutal It.
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: Could not be a correlation because, you know, you got
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: a lot of girls that nothing against our ladies on
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: our teams, but they didn't grow up playing football. So
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: if you're going like, hey, stick, you know, hitch, blah, blah, blah.
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: They're looking like. And looking at the cards and hey,
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: even routes are always in odd routes are always out.
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: I know on the tree it might not look like,
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: you know. It might look confusing because it's pointing that way.
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: But just remember, if you're lined up on the left,
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: it's an even number. It's going in. I'm just kind
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: of sitting there between plays like, oh, man, we got it.
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: We got to get we got to get open. Somebody's
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: got to take charge. We got to get open. Somebody's
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: got to take charge.
- 1:01:58Speaker 4: They need a coach.
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: Well, sounds like.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: Yeah. We. Yeah. Fun time is over. Yeah. Fun time's over.
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: You know why they brought me in? Because you guys suck.
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: I'm just looking to have fun, and I'm having a
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: lot of fun. So it's been good. But they need
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: a voice. Just saying. You have fun losing. They need
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: a voice. Speaking of voice, should we do voicemails? Yes.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: Should we do some call-ins? 601 The Dads, you want
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: to be featured on the show? Drop a voicemail, vent,
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: say whatever you want to.
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: Yes, and of course, dad call-ins are presented by Gravely.
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: We want to thank Gravely. We have two call-ins this week.
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: If you've got a lawn, a property, or you're out
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: there mowing for a living, you need to know about
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: these guys. Gravely's been building mowers since 1916. We're talking,
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: that's World War I era, chef. That's crazy. Over 100
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: years shaping the American landscape. Still family owned to this day.
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: That matters because you're not dealing with some major corporation.
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: You're dealing with a brand that's been doing this the
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: right way for generations. Their whole thing is built to
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: mow the distance. That's not just a tagline. That is
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: the mentality, guys. These are built for people who need
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: a machine that shows up and performs day in and
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: day out. No excuses. So if your mower's on its

- 1:03:32Speaker 2: for the long haul, go find your Gravely. And the
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: reason I'm giggling is because if Will had a Gravely,

- 1:03:45Speaker 2: at if he had a Gravely. So you can head
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: to gravely.com forward slash bussin'. That's gravely.com forward slash bussin'.

- 1:04:09Speaker 2: Took the trash out on the first try. Good juju
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: in Spooktober right now. Good job, Uncle Mitch. Well done.
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: Shout out, Uncle Mitch, man.
- 1:04:22Speaker 6: Oh, yeah.
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: Next one is Deep in the trenches.
- 1:04:30Speaker 6: It was currently 2.17am Just got out of the shower
- 1:04:36Speaker 6: Got yacked on By my three week old Daughter Yeah
- 1:04:45Speaker 6: I completely covered in puke Good Good Um, wife comes
- 1:04:51Speaker 6: in to my, to the bathroom in the shower. Tells
- 1:04:55Speaker 6: me she thought I puked again all over the bed.
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: Good. Get out.
- 1:05:04Speaker 6: And she puked again all over her.
- 1:05:08Speaker 6: Tangerine mat.
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: Good. This dude is defeated.
- 1:05:11Speaker 6: Wife's hungry now. And everything's closed.
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: Guess who's cooking? Good. Good. Do y'all remember that voicemail
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: that went real viral when we were like in high
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: school and over? Yeah, that one's over. You remember that
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: one that went really viral when we were in high
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: school and middle school? That was the girl that got
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: broken up with. She's like, I love you and I
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: miss you. That's what that reminded me of. We need
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: a little more enthusiasm. That dude is defeated right now.
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: They puked again.
- 1:05:53Speaker 6: Good.
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: I got to begin on the change of mind. They
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: puked again. Good. He needs an lollipop. He needs an lollipop.
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: He does.
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: He needs an lollipop. Throw on a spook. Oh, dude,
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: I can't wait to start ripping. We might need to
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: for a hobby in Nebraska this weekend.
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: Halloween Town. It's Halloween Town vibes, dude. Coleman had that
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: playing at his desk yesterday on mute. And Jill had
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: it playing when I got home, actually. You want to
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: talk about an entry? That should be the entry into
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: Spooked Over. Yes, man.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: Easy one for kids. Also, if you're listening right now,
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: in the comments section, drop Movie Wrecks. For some Halloween
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: spooky vibes that kiddos can watch.
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: That kiddos can watch. For, you know, four years old,
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: I got a four and a two-year-old. Four and a one-year-old.
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: And put a pumpkin next to that comment so that we,
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: it would be a little bit easier to find. Yeah,
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: I'll stop, scroll fast, stop when you see a pumpkin. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: I like that. I'd love to see the Rex. And that,
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: of course, was this week's Dad Call-Ins presented by Gravely.
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: Click the link in the description below of this episode
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: to find Gravely Mower. All right, I got emails.
- 1:07:08Speaker 3: Emails.
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: Email 601thedads at gmail.com. This one is subject, need advice.
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: It's from Colin Wilson. Fellas, this is Colin Wilson again
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: from O'Fallon, Missouri. Some Missouri boys chiming in on this episode.
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: M-I-Z. You talking about Austin Simmons right now? Come on. Drink.
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: Drink's probably listening. He said, finally, they talking about us.
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: He saw my breakdown of the Mizzou, Florida game on Bustin'
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: and Paid on Campus. Oh, yeah.
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: By the way, we'll be in Lincoln this weekend, this Friday.
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: But he saw it and he was like, you were
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: spot on.
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: And I was. He DM'd you that?
- 1:07:51Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: Did that get you juiced? Hell yeah, it got me juiced.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: Because what I said was like, I think the whole
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: thing is I got to believe after four weeks of
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: film that somebody's going to figure out tendencies in this
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: run game.
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: Because essentially it's like make Aaron Philo beat you. He's
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: thrown the ball 87 times. And out of those 87,
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: and I know I'm getting off the email right now
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: from Kyle Wilson because I'm starting to wax poetic on
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: some ball talk. But the Mizzou Tigers that are tuned
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: in right now. But out of Aaron Philo's 87 throws,
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: I want to say it was, it was like 46
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: were play action, 27 were screen plays. Out of those
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: 87 throws, so what is that, north of 70? Yeah,
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: I mean.
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: He's only had to drop back like 13 times because
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: that run game is so dynamic. Yes.
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: So if you win on first down, oh, by the way,
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: number one first down team in the SEC was the
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: Missouri Tigers. If there's something formulated in those first four
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: weeks to where you can shut down and win on
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: early downs and.
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: Make Aaron Filo... play quarterback. I'm not saying he's not
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: a good quarterback, but he hasn't had to win you
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: a ball game yet. Yeah. And can he beat you
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: if you just slow down Jaden Ball and Clark, which
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: they did.
- 1:08:59Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: Because this offense and Austin Simmons, he can dish it around. Yes.
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: And not to get off of the email, but to
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: your point of everybody looks at a football season like
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: every single game is the same. The games at the
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: beginning of the season, you were finding tendencies of teams. Yeah.
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: To that point, Florida had not been found out yet. Mizzou,
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: and that doesn't make them a bad football team. It's
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: just Mizzou said, hey, that game plan that's working really
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: great for them right now, they're about to have to
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: go back to the whiteboard after they play us. Because
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: we're about to- We're not a football show. We're a
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: dad show. We're a dad show.
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: When I would break down, like when we break down
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: film in college, NFL, it doesn't matter. You're always looking
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: at the last, it's a four-week sample size.
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: Yes. You're looking at the last four weeks.
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: Now that four weeks have been played- Cause say you're
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: in week two and it's a new, cause what is it?
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: Faulkner is the OC for Florida.
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: Don't know.
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: Either way, if it's new staff, new coaches, new coordinators,
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: stuff like that, you're looking at old footage from like
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: the years before on what they've done at other programs.
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: Now that you had four weeks, it was screaming Mizzou
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: at me. I had to make a flip and go
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: Mizzou plus five and a half the day of the game.
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: But it was like, my spidey senses were going off.
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: I'm like, man, that, And Austin Simmons performed open heart
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: surgery on that defense. He was dialed.
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: And before we get into email, very short quote. Very
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: short quote. This comes from Neighbor Blake. Life is all
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: about getting punched in the nuts. And right when you're
- 1:10:35Speaker 2: getting back from getting punched in the nuts, guess what's
- 1:10:38Speaker 2: going to happen, Will? Can you guess? You're going to win.
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: You're going to win, but you're going to get punched
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: in the nuts again. The nut punches keep coming. You
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: got to respond to them. Amen. Now back to Colin
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: Wilson's email from O'Fallon, Missouri. Oh my God. We didn't
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: even read it. I saw O'Fallon, Missouri and you said
- 1:11:02Speaker 2: Missouri Tigers. And I'm like, Oh, let's talk about the game.
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: My oldest daughter, Charlie started third grade this year. Recently
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: her and I were talking about her day and she
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: told me there's a boy in her class that likes her.
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: and wants to kiss her.
- 1:11:18Speaker 5: Oh, God.
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: I know you guys aren't quite there yet in fatherhood,
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: but it's coming. Could you let me know if I
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: handled this wrong and let me know how you guys
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: would handle it?
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: Oh, God. The guys that don't have a third grader yet.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: When she told me she wants to kiss her, when
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: she told me he wants to kiss her, I said
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: the first thing that popped into my head was, if
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: he wants to kiss you so bad, he's going to
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: have to kiss me first, which ain't going to happen.
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: I tried to keep it cool, though, and then... I
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: went on to ask her if she likes him at all.
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: And luckily she said she only likes him as a friend,
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: but I don't think this is going away anytime soon.
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: Any advice will help.
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: Side note, wore my for the dad's hat to the
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: BMW championship golf tournament, figuring there will be a bunch
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: of dads there and maybe I can put them on game.
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: It worked.
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: Got some compliments on it. And a couple of people
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: asking me what that hat is from. And I told
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: them all about the pod. Keep up the good work.
- 1:12:11Speaker 6: What?
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: Shout out.
- 1:12:14Speaker 5: Gong it.
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: Yeah, gong it. Gong it. Gong it. Gong it. Gong it. Oh,
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: Willie C. Right?
- 1:12:23Speaker 6: Wrong?
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: Dude, I don't know. I don't know. I haven't been
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: in that pocket yet. It's something I think about a lot.
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: I do like the he's going to have to kiss
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: me first. I like that. But then what if the
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: boy comes up and he's like, I got to kiss
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: you because I'm trying to kiss your daughter.
- 1:12:36Speaker 4: Hey, Mr.
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: Compton, I'm trying to kiss Rue, so I heard.
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: You know, let's just make it short and sweet, man.
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: Pucker up. Let's get it over with. And yeah, I mean,
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: that is real. That's a, that's a real situation. Cause
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: I feel like at that age, I'm trying to remember
- 1:12:52Speaker 2: my young self.
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: It's all about being able to say stuff like, Oh,
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: that's my girlfriend. But they're not really, you know what
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: I mean?
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. They're your girlfriend at the playground. Yeah. And
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: that's about it, dude. I don't know what to say.
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: I mean, that's, I think telling the daughter, you got
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: to ask my dad's permission for that. But what if
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: he comes and asks permission? Well, she said no. He's
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: dropping nuts. And it's like, hey, respect. But it's a
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: third grader. But you can say no to the third grader.
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: Dad can say no. Because if third grader drops his
- 1:13:29Speaker 2: nuts and goes and asks dad and says, can I
- 1:13:32Speaker 2: kiss your daughter? Your answer could just be no. We're
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: not doing that. I don't know. I don't hate the
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: he's got to kiss me first. I don't hate that.
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: I don't hate it. I don't know how to handle it. Yeah.
- 1:13:48Speaker 5: I could just see that backfiring if the little kid
- 1:13:50Speaker 5: went back to his dad and said, Mr. Compton said
- 1:13:54Speaker 5: I had to kiss him and then nothing else. Like
- 1:13:58Speaker 5: I could see that just going so bad.
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: Gong ramp. Gong ramp. Trying to kiss my son? Hey,
- 1:14:06Speaker 2: dad podcast, get over here. Oh, shit. Yeah, I don't know, man. Like,
- 1:14:13Speaker 2: a part of me would like to think, like, I
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: want to talk to the parents so that way we
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: can both sides handle it on the back end.
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: Yeah, then they go, yeah, I think a kiss would
- 1:14:25Speaker 2: be great. What do y'all think? Yeah. It's just a lose, lose, lose. Yeah,
- 1:14:33Speaker 2: I don't know. Maybe that's another thing. You're trying to
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: teach your daughter, like, oh, teaching her to tell the
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: boy no. Yeah. You know what I mean? Like, you know. Yeah.
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: Kissing is just for my mama and dada.
- 1:14:44Speaker 4: Sounds like the next bedtime story, the slasher. Tries to
- 1:14:47Speaker 4: go in for a kiss.
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: Yeah, you tell a story.
- 1:14:50Speaker 4: You kill him.
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, you try to teach a concept of like
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: saying no to stuff like that. Then he got murdered.
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: He got killed. Yeah, the kiss is poisonous. Oh, yeah.
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: And so, Rue, he got stabbed 32 times because he
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: tried to kiss Stygie. We can't say that. and it
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: was you know just torso blows nothing to the face
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: but it was 32 steps so just i would keep
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: that in mind i don't know yeah yeah i feel
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: like the answer in there somewhere is like empowering your
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: daughter to like say no if she feels uncomfortable about
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: hearing a question like that like having her you know
- 1:15:32Speaker 2: Feel strong to say, just tell the young man no.
- 1:15:35Speaker 4: Has Rue read The Power of No yet? It's a
- 1:15:36Speaker 4: good book.
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: Not yet. Not yet. We'll get her read. That is
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: one that Gammy got Jill on pretty early. She was
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: having those conversations around that grade, like third and fourth
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: and fifth grade of boys are going to try and
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: kiss you or hold your hand or blah, blah, blah.
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: And you need to... you know, be able to tell
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: them no, if you don't want to. And right.
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: And if they keep trying, you go and tell the
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: authority figure, whoever the teacher is uncomfortable.
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: Which I'm sure everybody's going to have their own playbook.
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: They're probably not like, will Sherman help? Clearly, by the way,
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: we just kind of, I don't hate that you got
- 1:16:13Speaker 2: to kiss me. Honey, don't worry. I got it. Hey, Joey,
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: how about you come kiss me? What the fuck? Idiots, man.
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: I have an email as well. I have Quentin Kibulka.

- 1:18:27Speaker 2: you picked up Kevin's Natural Foods at the grocery store.
- 1:18:31Speaker 2: Their refrigerated entrees give you a legit, clean ingredient, restaurant-quality
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: meal in just five minutes. All you have to do

- 1:18:51Speaker 2: I've gotten the chicken dish, the Hawaiian-style chicken, I've gotten
- 1:18:56Speaker 2: a couple sides to go along with it for that
- 1:18:58Speaker 2: last second. You know, wifey's asking, what's for dinner? And
- 1:19:03Speaker 2: I come in and save the day. This is not
- 1:19:06Speaker 2: just a story that we tell on the podcast. This
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: is actual real life application of Kevin's Natural Foods. It
- 1:19:14Speaker 2: has saved the day for me. Now I'm telling you guys,
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: Kevin's is a move. They've got flavors like Thai style
- 1:19:19Speaker 2: coconut chicken. Korean barbecue style chicken and teriyaki beef. The
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: Hawaiian style chicken that I just brought up earlier is
- 1:19:27Speaker 2: always a hit in our house. No matter what flavor
- 1:19:30Speaker 2: you choose, Kevin's Natural Foods makes dinner quick, delicious, and dad-proof.
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: Don't miss out on Kevin's. Don't have another dad loss
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: because you didn't pick up the Kevin's, guys. Stock up
- 1:19:45Speaker 2: on their entrees in the refrigerated aisle at your local
- 1:19:48Speaker 2: grocery store. Let's get back to this episode. Hey, Sherm. Hey, Willie.
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: Two shelves. I'm a believer in people. I apologize in
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: advance for the long message. I've been listening to for
- 1:20:01Speaker 2: a couple of months now after randomly throwing on for
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: the dads at work. Full disclosure, I'm not a dad, thankfully.
- 1:20:08Speaker 2: I'm only 24, but I am a funkle to a
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: four-year-old nephew and a two-year-old niece. I keep listening because
- 1:20:14Speaker 2: I genuinely enjoy the stories and the camaraderie that y'all
- 1:20:18Speaker 2: bring to the table. I've especially appreciated all of the
- 1:20:22Speaker 2: light that you have shed recently on childhood cancer. Specifically,
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: the absolute dog that is Evie the Brave. Gong rip. Unfortunately,
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: that's an area my family knows pretty well because my
- 1:20:35Speaker 2: older brother went through childhood cancer himself. I wanted to
- 1:20:38Speaker 2: reach out because I think y'all would appreciate this dog's story.
- 1:20:42Speaker 2: Spelled it D-A-W-G. Even if it's only ever for your
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: own eyes and ears. My brother's name is Sammy. At
- 1:20:50Speaker 2: age 16, he was diagnosed with an ultra-rare aggressive cancerous
- 1:20:53Speaker 2: tumor in his shoulder, estimated to be 1 in 2 billion.
- 1:20:58Speaker 2: They labeled it rhabdomyosacarma.
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: I think you're saying it right. Somebody that wrote in
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: not too long ago, it was like the same word.
- 1:21:14Speaker 2: That's right. Okay, but even the doctors weren't completely sure
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: what they were dealing with after months of silence after
- 1:21:22Speaker 2: a biopsy. He went through a full year of aggressive
- 1:21:25Speaker 2: chemotherapy with radiation layered on for the first several months.
- 1:21:29Speaker 2: Over that time, he'd spend weeks at a time in
- 1:21:32Speaker 2: some holidays in the hospital. He'd come home attached to
- 1:21:35Speaker 2: bags of fluid. He lost feeling in his hands, his feet.
- 1:21:39Speaker 2: He lost his hair and dealt with pain I can't
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: even begin to imagine. Through it all, the doctors and
- 1:21:45Speaker 2: nurses kept telling him the treatment would probably take longer
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: than a year. They figured that he'd eventually need to
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: take a week off, miss a session, or simply not
- 1:21:55Speaker 2: be physically capable of showing up. They had no idea
- 1:21:59Speaker 2: who they were betting against. Every week, Sammy showed up
- 1:22:02Speaker 2: wearing a different jersey counting down the treatments, but always
- 1:22:05Speaker 2: with the same smile on his face. He'd sit in
- 1:22:08Speaker 2: the waiting room, coloring with the younger kids. He'd never complain,
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: and he never missed a single week. A feat that
- 1:22:15Speaker 2: had doctors and nurses in awe. When he finally walked
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: out wearing a number zero UCLA Westbrook jersey for his
- 1:22:23Speaker 2: last chemo treatment, there wasn't much debate left about who
- 1:22:26Speaker 2: had won in the A-gap. And somehow, while all of
- 1:22:30Speaker 2: that was going on, Sammy still found a way to
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: make it about more than himself. During the treatment, he
- 1:22:37Speaker 2: became one of the hospital's spokespeople for fundraising, delivering powerful
- 1:22:40Speaker 2: speeches left and right, and helping raise money on behalf
- 1:22:44Speaker 2: of all the little ones he was battling alongside every week.
- 1:22:49Speaker 2: While he was getting chemo, radiation, and fighting his own fight,
- 1:22:52Speaker 2: He was standing in front of the rooms full of
- 1:22:54Speaker 2: people telling their stories too. In the middle of the
- 1:22:57Speaker 2: hardest year of his life, he was still finding ways
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: to fight for the kids sitting next to him. Sammy
- 1:23:04Speaker 2: is the type of person anyone would want beside them
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: in a foxhole, and the amount of support he received
- 1:23:09Speaker 2: during that year reflected the kind of person he is.
- 1:23:12Speaker 2: For some context, before his diagnosis, he was an outgoing
- 1:23:17Speaker 2: three-sport athlete. He played strong safety and led his football
- 1:23:21Speaker 2: team in tackles despite missing the first four games. He
- 1:23:24Speaker 2: was a basketball captain and floor general point guard, ran
- 1:23:27Speaker 2: track and competed in the decathlon. Sports has always run
- 1:23:31Speaker 2: through his blood. Even his make-a-wish was an SVP experience,
- 1:23:36Speaker 2: which was unbelievably dope, by the way. Shout out SVP
- 1:23:39Speaker 2: for that. That's really cool to hear. The rehab afterward
- 1:23:43Speaker 2: was a whole different beast. After more than a year
- 1:23:45Speaker 2: of his body getting put through hell, He basically had
- 1:23:49Speaker 2: to build himself back from the ground up. He was
- 1:23:51Speaker 2: never physically quite the same after losing his middle delt,
- 1:23:55Speaker 2: but somehow he worked his way all the way back
- 1:23:57Speaker 2: and made a basketball team again. He hasn't slowed down since.
- 1:24:01Speaker 2: Now he's still a tank in the weight room, runs constantly,
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: and does Ironman triathlons because he just does not know
- 1:24:08Speaker 2: how to relax. The dude lives in the A-gap. Today,
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: Sammy is healthy and pursuing his dream of becoming a
- 1:24:14Speaker 2: sports journalist and entertainer. I mainly wanted to share his story,
- 1:24:19Speaker 2: but I also wanted to pass along his page at
- 1:24:22Speaker 2: Chibolka Media or Sibolka Media. I hope I'm saying that correctly.
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: I will spell it C-I-B-U-L-K-A Media on Instagram and all
- 1:24:34Speaker 2: the other platforms in case you want to check out
- 1:24:38Speaker 2: his work. I highly recommend it. Willie C could probably
- 1:24:42Speaker 2: even tail a couple of his picks and end up
- 1:24:45Speaker 2: a few units richer. Let's go. Appreciate the ride-in, brother.
- 1:24:50Speaker 2: Great ride-in. Yeah. 24-2, just watching the Sodes. That's an
- 1:24:54Speaker 2: ST sicko, dude.
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: ST sicko. We're going to get into a lesson. I
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: know you have a lesson, but I do have a
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: shout-out here because we're shouting out a birthday for Corbin
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: on his 12th birthday. I feel like Austin Delaney wrote in,
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: and he has a good small lesson for.
- 1:25:10Speaker 2: All the dads out there. Hey, boys, love the pod.
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: October 10th will mark my 12-year anniversary as a PT6 veteran.
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: I remember watching college football. Dak Prescott on my Mississippi
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: State Bulldogs.
- 1:25:20Speaker 2: Hail State. Oh, come on.
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: From the hospital room while wifey rested with our newborn
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: son laying on her chest. From that day, our life
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: has been a nonstop adventure that we could have never predicted.
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: Twelve years later, and I laugh every time you guys
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: tell stories about your little ones, remembering those years and
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: what a journey it's been.
- 1:25:36Speaker 2: Take it from me.
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: Those stories do not stop coming. It seems like he
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: was just learning to walk and ride a bike and
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: going to his first day of kindergarten. Nowadays, we spend
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: every fall Saturday watching our young man dominate the C-gap
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: or the edge and make QBs run for their lives
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: in his fourth year of youth tackle football. Next year,
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: he'll be in junior high and is already making plans
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: for playing after high school. Let me tell you, boys,
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: time flies. I can't believe I have twice as many
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: years of memories made with him as I do to
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: come before he heads off into the world on his own.
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: My only hope is that as a dad... I will
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: have been a good example, even if sometimes that example
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: is what not to do. So he's ready to take
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: on the world when that day comes. Cherish every moment,
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: even when they get old enough to think that they're
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: older than they are, and challenge you every single damn
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: day and every single thing that you say. So boys,
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: will you please shout out my man Corbin for his
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: 12th birthday. Shout out Corbin. Happy birthday.
- 1:26:37Speaker 2: Hit the gong. Happy birthday, Corbin.
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: He listens to all your content with me and even
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: hit the Willie C flex in his recent family reunion photo.
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: He's an absolute dog and I love him more than
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: I could have ever thought. I've had the capacity of loving.
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: Keep it up, fellas. This is the best bot out there. Sincerely,
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: Austin from Wyoming.
- 1:26:54Speaker 2: 307 Bulldog on X.
- 1:26:57Speaker 6: P.S.
- 1:26:58Speaker 2: Sherm, your X content is elite. Wow. And I know
- 1:27:03Speaker 2: he spelled dog D-A-W-G. You know he spelled dog D-A-W-G.
- 1:27:06Speaker 2: Very quick birthday shout out. This comes from Alyssa Vitzthum.
- 1:27:10Speaker 2: Alyssa wrote in and wanted to wish a happy birthday
- 1:27:14Speaker 2: to her husband, Logan. His birthday is October 8th. Happy birthday, Logan.
- 1:27:19Speaker 2: Happy birthday, Logan. We love you, baby. Maybe we OD'd
- 1:27:25Speaker 2: the gong. No. No? Okay, okay. It's for Evy. It
- 1:27:30Speaker 2: is for Evy, for sure. Can I tell you something
- 1:27:33Speaker 2: right now before any comments float in about the gong?
- 1:27:37Speaker 2: I am pro-gong. Pro-gong? And I am pro-gong living by Will. Okay.
- 1:27:42Speaker 2: And I am pro-Will getting so passionate talking to Chef
- 1:27:46Speaker 2: that he starts shaking the mallet at Chef. Like, everything
- 1:27:49Speaker 2: about the gong, I am pro. Okay. What kind of
- 1:27:57Speaker 2: cutlets are we talking about? Okay. My lesson of the
- 1:28:00Speaker 2: week comes from Lou Holtz and it is his five rules.
- 1:28:05Speaker 2: So Lou Holtz, I'll read the five rules and I'll
- 1:28:09Speaker 2: go into them just very quickly. Attitude, passion to win,
- 1:28:14Speaker 2: purpose and focus, grow, don't maintain, and choices. For attitude,
- 1:28:20Speaker 2: the only thing you can control is your attitude. You'll
- 1:28:25Speaker 2: get knocked down. The choice is whether you will stay down.
- 1:28:29Speaker 2: You can succeed when no one believes in you. You
- 1:28:31Speaker 2: have no chance if you don't believe in yourself. Passion
- 1:28:35Speaker 2: to win. That means sacrifice. There's a price to pay.
- 1:28:40Speaker 2: and killing excuses. So can you live with losing? Can
- 1:28:44Speaker 2: you accept mediocrity? That tells me everything about you. It
- 1:28:47Speaker 2: sounds like I'm preaching to the choir here. All I'm
- 1:28:51Speaker 2: thinking about is this is your speech for your team
- 1:28:55Speaker 2: on Thursday night. This is, this is. Purpose and focus,
- 1:28:59Speaker 2: keep it to two mandates and execute them, which I
- 1:29:02Speaker 2: love this. When I was thinking of ways to apply
- 1:29:05Speaker 2: this to fatherhood, I often find myself describing an elephant
- 1:29:10Speaker 2: of a problem and not segmenting that elephant, you know,
- 1:29:14Speaker 2: one bite at a time. So finding two mandates that
- 1:29:16Speaker 2: you can execute on, uh, and having purpose and focus
- 1:29:21Speaker 2: to constantly be executing on these two mandates, they are
- 1:29:25Speaker 2: your constants. Grow, don't maintain. You're either growing or you're dying.
- 1:29:31Speaker 2: Four things fill the void. Something to do, someone to love,
- 1:29:35Speaker 2: someone to believe in, and something to hope for. And
- 1:29:38Speaker 2: then choices. Life is the result of choices, which we've
- 1:29:42Speaker 2: talked about this on this podcast. So life is the
- 1:29:46Speaker 2: result of choices, not circumstances. He ties this to three rules.
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: Do what's right. Do everything to the best of your
- 1:29:54Speaker 2: ability and show people that you care. Um, I thought
- 1:29:58Speaker 2: there was a lot of good that could be applied
- 1:30:01Speaker 2: to fatherhood as far as a synopsis there. Cause I
- 1:30:05Speaker 2: feel like that was almost six of our, you know,
- 1:30:09Speaker 2: lessons of the week that we've done on this podcast
- 1:30:11Speaker 2: into like a little tight five. Um, I don't currently
- 1:30:16Speaker 2: have this printed out, but I kind of do after, uh,
- 1:30:19Speaker 2: it was sent to me, shout out my dad, Papa Sherm.
- 1:30:22Speaker 2: Shout out Papa Sherm, man. Who sent it to me, uh,
- 1:30:25Speaker 2: on Monday morning. Just a little reminder. Five points. Five points.
- 1:30:32Speaker 2: And that's it. That's my lesson of the week. Passion
- 1:30:34Speaker 2: to win. Passion to win. What am I doing? Full circle.
- 1:30:40Speaker 2: That's a great lesson. Full circle. Great lesson. Speaking to yourself.
- 1:30:44Speaker 2: Speaking to your team. Yep. I'll have it printed out
- 1:30:47Speaker 2: for this Thursday. Put that on your wristband. Put these
- 1:30:50Speaker 2: five keys. Hey, Sherman. Sheet A, play six. Come on, Lou.
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: What do we got?
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: Take out the trash. Appreciate you guys tuning in. Make
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: sure to leave comments. Make sure you're subscribed, following, all
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: the fun stuff.
- 1:31:07Speaker 2: Embrace Bigtober. We love you. We appreciate you. We will
- 1:31:10Speaker 2: see you next week. See you next week.
