- 0:02Speaker 1: Two teas in a pod with Teddy Mellencamp and camera Judge. Hey, guys,
- 0:13Speaker 1: it is Tamra Judge with two teas in a pod.
- 0:15Speaker 1: I have Whitney with me from Salt Lake City and
- 0:18Speaker 1: we are gonna recap Real House of Atlanta, Real Housewives
- 0:22Speaker 1: of New York and Crappy Lake.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Hey, Whitney, day Tama, thanks for having me back.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Yes, now, Whitney, do you watch all the Housewives shows?
- 0:33Speaker 2: Not all of them anymore. I used to, but once
- 0:36Speaker 2: I became a housewife, I'm a little more selective.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Yeah, it's not funny how that happens. Like I live it,
- 0:41Speaker 1: I know how it goes down. I don't want to
- 0:43Speaker 1: watch it.
- 0:43Speaker 2: It changed it for me.
- 0:45Speaker 1: Do you like watching yourself?
- 0:47Speaker 2: No?
- 0:47Speaker 1: I cringe?
- 0:48Speaker 2: Is anybody I have a few castmates that watched themselves
- 0:52Speaker 2: multiple times? Yeah? No, Yeah, I won't. I can't just
- 0:59Speaker 2: watch it to know what's in it, and then I
- 1:01Speaker 2: can never watch it again.
- 1:02Speaker 1: I watched the screener and I'm done. I never watch
- 1:05Speaker 1: it on the big screen. I watch it very little
- 1:07Speaker 1: on my phone and that's it, and I can't. I
- 1:10Speaker 1: can't even hear my voice, like sometimes I'll send it
- 1:12Speaker 1: to Eddie and he'll watch it, and I'm.
- 1:13Speaker 2: Like, turn it down.
- 1:14Speaker 1: I don't want to hear my voice.
- 1:16Speaker 2: I'm the exact same way. The other day there was
- 1:18Speaker 2: a repeat of salta Gon and I. It was just
- 1:21Speaker 2: on my TV and I was like, who turned this on?
- 1:24Speaker 1: No? Do your kids like to watch it or to
- 1:27Speaker 1: watch themselves? They love it?
- 1:30Speaker 2: Yes, I tried to. I used to screen the show
- 1:33Speaker 2: from them, but now they're old enough where they can
- 1:35Speaker 2: find bit so I just let them watch it.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Yeah. Now, have you been keeping up with Atlanta.
- 1:41Speaker 2: And Okay, so I've watched the last couple this season. Yes,
- 1:46Speaker 2: but I fell off Atlanta for a couple of years.
- 1:48Speaker 2: It used to be my favorite though I was a
- 1:51Speaker 2: diehard og Atlanta fan.
- 1:53Speaker 1: I feel like they need some tweaking on this cast.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Yeah, they lost me just for a minute. And I
- 1:58Speaker 2: don't know if it's just because I've been doing Salt
- 2:01Speaker 2: Lake City or what it is, but yes, what is
- 2:03Speaker 2: going on is okay, that's the essence.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Let's break it down. Now. Sonya takes a pregnancy test
- 2:10Speaker 1: and finds out she is pregnant. Now, she's been talking
- 2:13Speaker 1: about getting pregnant for a couple of seasons now, so
- 2:15Speaker 1: it's finally happening. Sonya and Ross tell her family by
- 2:19Speaker 1: making sure to that say, we're pregnant. So you saw
- 2:22Speaker 1: this episode right, yes? Yes, okay. So Sonya's parents and
- 2:25Speaker 1: sister tell her they are looking to get an apartment
- 2:28Speaker 1: to move into. Do you think at this time when
- 2:31Speaker 1: she's pregnant. She you know, she has had her family
- 2:33Speaker 1: live with them for a while, and I get it,
- 2:37Speaker 1: like you want you know, my mom lives with us,
- 2:39Speaker 1: but we have a casita on our property, so she
- 2:41Speaker 1: has her own entrants. Sometimes I don't see her for weeks.
- 2:45Speaker 1: But would you be okay with your in laws living
- 2:47Speaker 1: with you? And would you want that extra help with
- 2:49Speaker 1: a new baby coming?
- 2:51Speaker 2: Okay? So I wouldn't want my in laws to live
- 2:55Speaker 2: with me. My dad lived with me for a very
- 2:57Speaker 2: long time and it was very difficult helped her. As
- 3:02Speaker 2: someone who's had kids without family support, it would be
- 3:05Speaker 2: so nice to have family to help.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Yes, so nice, especially with a newborn and how busy
- 3:10Speaker 1: she is. Yes, and you know that girl is discipline.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Yeah, and I don't know how, like how she would
- 3:18Speaker 2: keep up with her life and not have help.
- 3:22Speaker 1: Well, she did say that she would talk talked about,
- 3:24Speaker 1: you know, hiring a nanny, but I feel like there's
- 3:27Speaker 1: such a nice calming feeling to know that your mom
- 3:30Speaker 1: is with your newborn or with your toddler or your
- 3:34Speaker 1: children in.
- 3:34Speaker 2: General at that So I never had that, so I
- 3:37Speaker 2: would crave that.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Yeah, my mom has always been around, so I've been
- 3:41Speaker 1: very lucky in that sense. Now Ross I would have
- 3:44Speaker 1: to say, was he's another one that I'm there's zero
- 3:47Speaker 1: douchebag And this guy when they found out, when he
- 3:51Speaker 1: found out that she was pregnant, he was so excited,
- 3:54Speaker 1: kind of disbelief, like what, yes, you're pregnant. Oh my god.
- 3:58Speaker 1: And I felt like the t shirts like, you know,
- 4:00Speaker 1: going into the family and like turning around and the
- 4:03Speaker 1: shirts say we're pregnant. That was a cute touch, right.
- 4:06Speaker 2: It was so cute. He's so endearing and you can
- 4:09Speaker 2: tell really tender he is.
- 4:11Speaker 1: He's super super sweet. I just think that Sonia, let
- 4:14Speaker 1: your family stay a little bit.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I that help at least the first six months
- 4:20Speaker 2: till the baby's on a sleeping cycle.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Yes. Yes, Now this next relationship obviously we know what
- 4:29Speaker 1: comes out of it. They're filed for divorce, but Drew
- 4:31Speaker 1: and Ralph go on a date. Drew brings up how
- 4:33Speaker 1: Ralph stopped marriage counseling. Ralph said he didn't like how
- 4:37Speaker 1: doctor Kin was holding him the accountable for his bad behavior,
- 4:41Speaker 1: Like who does he think he is? Even saying that.
- 4:43Speaker 1: He also feels that counseling brings up topics that lead
- 4:46Speaker 1: to divorce.
- 4:48Speaker 2: Duh, that's why you're there.
- 4:51Speaker 1: That's why you're there. I mean, why you have to
- 4:54Speaker 1: go to marriage counseling because you're in a bad spot
- 4:58Speaker 1: and the counsel is telling you you're an asshole, but
- 5:03Speaker 1: you just don't want to hear it.
- 5:04Speaker 2: She deserves so much better, just the.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Way he talks to her. And I know you haven't
- 5:08Speaker 1: watched the prior season, but back then he's just always
- 5:12Speaker 1: been so condescending to her and like saying things like
- 5:16Speaker 1: he did in this week's episode. This is a very
- 5:19Speaker 1: intellectual way what this is very intellectual what I'm saying.
- 5:23Speaker 1: It's like, Okay, what are you trying to say. I'm
- 5:26Speaker 1: not going to understand you. I would have popped in one.
- 5:29Speaker 1: I seriously would have krowne chopped him right into the
- 5:31Speaker 1: Adams Apple.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Yeah, and I especially did not like when she was like, Hey,
- 5:36Speaker 2: I just am for the next ten days, I'm gonna
- 5:38Speaker 2: be working on this video. It's todd and so I
- 5:40Speaker 2: just want to make sure you're good at home. And
- 5:42Speaker 2: he was when he's like, I've always been booked and
- 5:45Speaker 2: busy or whatever, he said to her, What.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Does he do?
- 5:48Speaker 2: I have no idea what he does.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Last I heard he was trying out from Magic Mike
- 5:52Speaker 1: in Vegas. That's everything. I mean, I'm sure I would
- 5:55Speaker 1: love for my husband to do that and that.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Yeah, good for you, sir, But Drew, like, you shouldn't
- 6:00Speaker 2: be asking your man. You should like he shouldn't be
- 6:04Speaker 2: telling you that. He should be saying, yes, I got
- 6:07Speaker 2: it covered, I have your back, good luck, what do
- 6:10Speaker 2: you need. It's gonna be stressful for you being away
- 6:12Speaker 2: from the kids.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Oh by the way, Ralph, those are your kids. You're
- 6:17Speaker 1: not babysitting. Those are your children. It kills me to
- 6:20Speaker 1: hear a man say I can't really babysit kids. Those
- 6:24Speaker 1: are your kids, You're not babysitting. Yeah, yeah, I feel
- 6:28Speaker 1: bad for Drew.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Bravo Khan and she was amazing. She's super sweet, white
- 6:36Speaker 2: and like so sweet.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Yeah, she's she's been on the pod a couple of
- 6:40Speaker 1: times and she's filled in for me and she's she's
- 6:43Speaker 1: just a very sweet girl. We did family feud recently
- 6:47Speaker 1: Atlanta versus Orange County and she was there. She's so kind.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Who wasn't there? Was Candy? Can you tells Candy and
- 6:54Speaker 1: Shamiya that she's thinking of having another baby with the
- 6:57Speaker 1: frozen embrose she had with x Mark. They bring up
- 7:01Speaker 1: Sarahgacy and Kenya says she would be worried that she
- 7:03Speaker 1: wouldn't get that she would get jealous of her sarrogate.
- 7:09Speaker 1: You did not go through any idea or anything like that, correct, Okay?
- 7:15Speaker 1: I mean the part of being pregnant. I mean it's
- 7:17Speaker 1: so fun until it's not fun, right, I mean terards
- 7:20Speaker 1: the end, but bonding and all that. I've always thought
- 7:23Speaker 1: about it, like, what would it be like to have
- 7:25Speaker 1: a saragate? Would you be able to handle that?
- 7:28Speaker 2: You know what? I at this point, I'd have to.
- 7:31Speaker 2: I had a hysterectomy at thirty five, So oh I did. Yeah,
- 7:35Speaker 2: I had to get an emergency hysterected me last year.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Yeah. So wait did we hear about this? Did you
- 7:43Speaker 1: talk about it all only.
- 7:44Speaker 2: On my podcast? Oh? Yeah, I haven't really publicly shared
- 7:48Speaker 2: too much. I'm still personally processing it. It's been a
- 7:52Speaker 2: little actually emotional and traumatic for me. I wasn't expecting that.
- 7:57Speaker 1: But you're good, right, you're good. Yeah, that's what's important.
- 8:02Speaker 2: I just had it had to come out like I
- 8:05Speaker 2: kind of yeah.
- 8:06Speaker 1: So I keep waiting for that.
- 8:09Speaker 2: I go.
- 8:09Speaker 1: My next appointment is September first, And I keep waiting
- 8:12Speaker 1: because my mom and my grandmother both had to have
- 8:14Speaker 1: hysterectomies because they had like tumors but they were benign,
- 8:19Speaker 1: but there were tumors and had to get ridmote.
- 8:21Speaker 2: But you don't want to mess with it.
- 8:22Speaker 1: I want to mess with that.
- 8:24Speaker 2: It's emotional, but I have to say it is amazing.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Like I worry, I whatever I want to wear all
- 8:32Speaker 2: the time and not stress. You know, vacation, no period,
- 8:36Speaker 2: no period, That's what I'm saying. I don't have to worry.
- 8:39Speaker 2: Beach the cool. But back to the Seriously, though, I
- 8:43Speaker 2: thought a lot about this because you have mothers who
- 8:46Speaker 2: raise adopted children and have a beautiful bond. You also
- 8:50Speaker 2: have others who never bond with their baby and neglect them.
- 8:54Speaker 2: You know, absolutely absolutely, lot of it is a lot
- 8:57Speaker 2: of the bond. Yes, there is something beautiful about having
- 9:01Speaker 2: the life inside of you. Yeah, but also I think
- 9:04Speaker 2: the bond is built when you're taking care of someone.
- 9:06Speaker 1: For sure, for sure, but sure yeah, yeah, But I
- 9:10Speaker 1: get what Kenya's saying. You know, it's it's it's different,
- 9:14Speaker 1: that's all it is. It's different. It's still your child.
- 9:16Speaker 1: You still love them if it's adoption and or serrogacy
- 9:19Speaker 1: or however it happens. But it's, you know, something to
- 9:22Speaker 1: think about, like having your hysterectomy. I remember at thirty eight,
- 9:28Speaker 1: I'm like, do I have another baby? Is this it
- 9:32Speaker 1: for me? Do you get a vasectomy?
- 9:34Speaker 2: Like?
- 9:34Speaker 1: What do we do? And then you realize at that
- 9:36Speaker 1: time like, okay, if you do that, it's permanent, and
- 9:41Speaker 1: the shop was closed, and in a woman's mind, it's
- 9:44Speaker 1: I don't know what it is. It's almost like what
- 9:46Speaker 1: I'm made to do, I can't do anymore.
- 9:48Speaker 2: And it's emotional, it's almost it's part of your feminine
- 9:52Speaker 2: energy and your power, and it's being able to create,
- 9:57Speaker 2: is you know, divine. So it's a hard I don't know.
- 10:02Speaker 2: I'm a very I can be a jealous person, so
- 10:05Speaker 2: it'd be hard for me. But I would just have
- 10:08Speaker 2: to really like focus on the positive of it, because
- 10:10Speaker 2: I always thought there was one more for me. Really yeah.
- 10:14Speaker 2: And I've had many like spiritual leaders say that they like,
- 10:17Speaker 2: since there's another baby.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Well maybe he'll adopt one day.
- 10:21Speaker 2: Yeah maybe, yeah.
- 10:23Speaker 1: You never know. But you know what, Kenya's house, I
- 10:27Speaker 1: didn't realize it before, is so beautiful.
- 10:29Speaker 2: It's gorgeous. Her front door is.
- 10:31Speaker 1: And I know, I'm like, holy shit, And I love that.
- 10:35Speaker 2: It's like in the trees, the woods, you know.
- 10:38Speaker 1: I know that's where I'm at right now. I'm in
- 10:39Speaker 1: my big bear house.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Oh you are?
- 10:42Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, we bought a house the beginning of the
- 10:44Speaker 1: month we closed escrow congratulators. Is his name?
- 10:49Speaker 2: Mark? Now? What's what's Kenya's mark?
- 10:52Speaker 1: I believe? Yeah?
- 10:54Speaker 2: Is he in the picture with her daughter?
- 10:57Speaker 1: I think he is, Yes, I think he is from
- 11:00Speaker 1: she said, But I don't know if they're on good terms.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Like I can't imagine, like if you're on good terms
- 11:07Speaker 1: with your ex and you're like, you know, I want
- 11:09Speaker 1: another you know, Brooklyn went to a sibling like you know, yeah,
- 11:14Speaker 1: but if you're in bad terms, that can even cause
- 11:16Speaker 1: even more problems. But I mean, I hope it works
- 11:19Speaker 1: out for her for sure. Yeah, but ken Yell, let's
- 11:22Speaker 1: move on. Kenna says Martell didn't pay for Charis Charret's
- 11:25Speaker 1: birthday dinner. It costs fifteen hundred dollars. He asked all
- 11:28Speaker 1: the ladies for their cash app to chip in. Now,
- 11:33Speaker 1: should a boyfriend be asking, shouldn't.
- 11:36Speaker 2: They be pain they shouldn't be paying?
- 11:39Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know his financial situation. But and
- 11:42Speaker 1: also did he arrange this, Like if you arrange a
- 11:45Speaker 1: birthday dinner, like my husband arrange a birthday dinner for me,
- 11:47Speaker 1: invites everybody, he will pay. He's gonna pay. Absolutely, they
- 11:52Speaker 1: didn't really say it. I don't know why they didn't
- 11:54Speaker 1: film it because her birthday was during filming time.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Oh, I wonder if it's one of us they're going
- 12:00Speaker 2: to flash back to.
- 12:02Speaker 1: I don't know. I mean I think that a boyfriend
- 12:04Speaker 1: that if he invites the women and he's a party. Yeah,
- 12:09Speaker 1: because if.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Someone invites you to dinner, they establish at the beginning,
- 12:14Speaker 2: like oh, we're going to do separate checks, or I'll
- 12:17Speaker 2: pay the check, can you vendmo me? But if it's
- 12:20Speaker 2: for your girl's birthday and you're with successful women like
- 12:24Speaker 2: you should be paying even if you can't afford it.
- 12:27Speaker 2: Be a baller and just like front it from me.
- 12:30Speaker 2: Just charge it, seriously, just charge it. Doesn't successful rich
- 12:36Speaker 2: friends like, come on, dude, But did.
- 12:39Speaker 1: You hear Chara say, I got a Oh god? What
- 12:42Speaker 1: was the person he bought her? Alexander m which is
- 12:45Speaker 1: better than between purse, But you know he's not into
- 12:50Speaker 1: high end stuff. That is kind of a high end.
- 12:53Speaker 2: First girl, it is high end and McQueen's one of
- 12:56Speaker 2: my favorite designers actually, but I laugh set the shade
- 13:01Speaker 2: of that.
- 13:01Speaker 1: That was, Oh my god. So Ralph shows up to
- 13:06Speaker 1: Drew's mental health retreat and hugs all the women before Drew.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Drew says, Ralph has been distanced since date night, and
- 13:14Speaker 1: this is typical Ralph acting cold with her instead of
- 13:17Speaker 1: speaking his mind. Did Drew now I saw him walk in.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Did Drew actually ignore him by hugging Ross or was
- 13:25Speaker 1: it intentional? Did you pick up on that?
- 13:30Speaker 2: I didn't pick up on that, but that's a fair question. However,
- 13:35Speaker 2: like she hugged Ross's that's one person.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Yeah, it was kind of like it.
- 13:40Speaker 2: As he was walking in, sitting down the line of women, like,
- 13:46Speaker 2: I don't know I feel like even if she did
- 13:48Speaker 2: ignore him or give him the cold shoulder, it was
- 13:51Speaker 2: one person versus like seven or eight.
- 13:54Speaker 1: I'm going to say, Ralph clearly purposely walk past his wife.
- 13:56Speaker 2: He's doing with it.
- 13:58Speaker 1: He's yeah to be a little bit. She's what he
- 14:00Speaker 1: was being. Marla pulling up Drop It with Drew website
- 14:06Speaker 1: made me laugh. There was no website.
- 14:10Speaker 2: It was not the floor notification.
- 14:13Speaker 1: The notification no longer. Do you think Drop It with
- 14:18Speaker 1: Drew is just for TV? And do you have any
- 14:21Speaker 1: be on your cast?
- 14:22Speaker 2: It?
- 14:22Speaker 1: Does that like where they just bring up certain things
- 14:24Speaker 1: or businesses just to promote on TV, but they're not
- 14:27Speaker 1: really affiliated with it. You got a noise the shit
- 14:30Speaker 1: out of me.
- 14:32Speaker 2: And if even just looking at jen Shaw, she had
- 14:34Speaker 2: like five businesses.
- 14:36Speaker 1: But did she really no? No, Okay, did you notice
- 14:41Speaker 1: Cynthia in the background. I did.
- 14:44Speaker 2: I love Cynthia.
- 14:45Speaker 1: They need her back so bad. I think they need
- 14:47Speaker 1: her back and they need Porscha back. Yes, absolutely, I
- 14:51Speaker 1: love Phaedra as well, But I don't think she's moved
- 14:54Speaker 1: on to married with medicine. I think so. I don't
- 14:56Speaker 1: know if she will come back.
- 14:58Speaker 2: The O G cast. I'm telling you that first couple
- 15:00Speaker 2: of years. We're the best. I know.
- 15:02Speaker 1: Hold on to that snowflake because the OG's are always
- 15:05Speaker 1: the best.
- 15:06Speaker 2: Yeah. I love Portia doing Girls Trip with her. Oh
- 15:10Speaker 2: that's right. Yeah, we did Girls Trip and I just
- 15:14Speaker 2: like respect her so much. She's such a good housewife.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Well, I'll tell you my experience with her. I did
- 15:20Speaker 1: a commercial in Mexico City and she was in the
- 15:22Speaker 1: commercial as well, And I was always very intimidated by
- 15:26Speaker 1: her because she's such a big personality, and I thought,
- 15:28Speaker 1: oh god, she's not gonna like me. She's not gonna
- 15:29Speaker 1: like me, Like I was really worried about it. She
- 15:32Speaker 1: was the most girls girl I've ever met in my
- 15:36Speaker 1: entire life. Let me fix you, let me do this.
- 15:39Speaker 1: Oh your booty's so cute, let me show some more boobs.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Like she was so sweet, sod yes, and she's like
- 15:47Speaker 1: she loves her girls. She's sweet, you know. I mean,
- 15:50Speaker 1: unless you're on the show and she's throwing shade at
- 15:52Speaker 1: you that I just love it.
- 15:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I got I got shade from her
- 15:56Speaker 2: just for a couple of minutes. But other than that,
- 15:58Speaker 2: like she and I was so thats the same way
- 16:00Speaker 2: I was nervous because I went with some big personalities
- 16:03Speaker 2: and I was nervous about it. But Portia was the
- 16:07Speaker 2: most supportive, Like she's the glue of the group, Like
- 16:10Speaker 2: she really brought it, and she if someone's having a
- 16:13Speaker 2: hard moment, she'll she'll come for you, but then she'll
- 16:16Speaker 2: build you right back up. You know.
- 16:18Speaker 1: I hope she comes back and robo hire her back. Please.
- 16:21Speaker 1: She's killing it.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Do you watch her social media?
- 16:24Speaker 1: I do she do? She's always killing it. Now, I
- 16:28Speaker 1: noticed that Candy was not invited to Charre's birthday party,
- 16:33Speaker 1: and Charay had the best comeback ever. Because you don't
- 16:36Speaker 1: know this because you haven't really been watching, but Candy
- 16:39Speaker 1: really is too busy to film. She's got so much
- 16:42Speaker 1: going on that when they have group events, she's like,
- 16:44Speaker 1: oh I got to leave early, or she's not at
- 16:46Speaker 1: a dinner or something. She's always she's too busy. So
- 16:49Speaker 1: Chari says Candy can't show up for the group, she
- 16:52Speaker 1: won't show up to my party. Clearly she was referring
- 16:55Speaker 1: to she can't even show up the film. Yeah, you
- 16:57Speaker 1: an invite her to my birthday party?
- 17:00Speaker 2: Yeah, what do you think Candy's holding on to? Because
- 17:02Speaker 2: it's not.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Like I think Candy's oh you mean staying on the show.
- 17:06Speaker 2: Yeah, because she is so busy, she has so many
- 17:08Speaker 2: other things going on.
- 17:10Speaker 1: Well, I don't think it's the money. I'm sure she's
- 17:12Speaker 1: paid amazingly, but she obviously is self made and worldwide
- 17:16Speaker 1: and all those things. I just think that it's a
- 17:19Speaker 1: really good platform. It is, you know, I know for myself,
- 17:23Speaker 1: Like even when I was gone through the two years.
- 17:25Speaker 1: You know, people you start to dwindle a little bit.
- 17:28Speaker 1: You try to make keep yourself relevant, but it's not
- 17:30Speaker 1: always that easy. It's one of those things in reality TV.
- 17:32Speaker 1: Out ofside, out of mine. So I don't know. Maybe
- 17:36Speaker 1: she enjoys it. Candy's so like there's no expression ever,
- 17:43Speaker 1: best poker face ever. So I don't know why.
- 17:46Speaker 2: When I think of Atlanta, I think of Candy. For sure,
- 17:50Speaker 2: I'm a big fan of hers, but like, yeah, I
- 17:53Speaker 2: just think if you can all you can kind of
- 17:56Speaker 2: tell that it's like she's not her heart's not there
- 17:59Speaker 2: right now.
- 18:00Speaker 1: It doesn't seem like it, that's for sure, but it
- 18:03Speaker 1: has to.
- 18:03Speaker 2: Be just keeps holding on to it. I mean, I
- 18:05Speaker 2: get it.
- 18:06Speaker 1: And I love her banter with her husband Todd because
- 18:09Speaker 1: you know the backstory about Todd.
- 18:10Speaker 2: Right, and like when they first started dating.
- 18:15Speaker 1: Yes, so Todd worked for production.
- 18:18Speaker 2: No, I did not know that.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Yeah, so Todd worked for production. This is ten years ago.
- 18:22Speaker 1: So he was part of the production team and I
- 18:24Speaker 1: don't know if he producer or what exactly his role was.
- 18:26Speaker 1: I think it was producer. And they fell in love
- 18:29Speaker 1: and they've been together ever since. So he went from
- 18:31Speaker 1: behind the camera to in front of the camera.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Oh, how did I not know that?
- 18:37Speaker 1: Well, it was still it was ten years ago. You
- 18:39Speaker 1: were very born, you were only you were only five then, little.
- 18:44Speaker 2: Girl, little girl, a girl.
- 18:46Speaker 1: No.
- 18:47Speaker 2: I just remember the family really giving her a hard
- 18:49Speaker 2: time for dating him.
- 18:51Speaker 1: The mom, Mama Joyce, has never accepted him, and I
- 18:54Speaker 1: think that she expected Candy to marry like some multi millionaire.
- 19:00Speaker 1: And Todd works, you know, and he takes care of
- 19:02Speaker 1: the kids. So evidently that's what Drew said, daddy daycare.
- 19:05Speaker 1: But you know, I don't see a problem with it
- 19:08Speaker 1: where there's you know, it's balanced. There's a lot of
- 19:11Speaker 1: men that make tons of money and the women don't
- 19:13Speaker 1: work at all, or they don't make as much money,
- 19:15Speaker 1: does it. I don't think that people have to marriage.
- 19:18Speaker 1: Couples have to have like, well I make this much,
- 19:21Speaker 1: so you should make that much.
- 19:22Speaker 2: Yeah. No, we've evolved wavy on that.
- 19:26Speaker 1: Yeah, we've gone up and down. When I met Eddie,
- 19:29Speaker 1: I was barely making anything on the show, and he
- 19:32Speaker 1: was working at his dad's law firm making a ton
- 19:33Speaker 1: of money. Then he left to go start cut fitness,
- 19:37Speaker 1: and salary went down, then went up and then down.
- 19:40Speaker 1: Like you know, it's partnership, yeah, especially being an entrepreneur too,
- 19:44Speaker 1: Like a lot of money comes in and then no money,
- 19:46Speaker 1: then a lot of money, then no money, maybe a
- 19:47Speaker 1: little money. So it's all relative, you know. I think
- 19:50Speaker 1: as long as they're happy and they're doing their thing,
- 19:53Speaker 1: that's fine. Let's talk about being called a bitch. Manyatta
- 20:08Speaker 1: brings up how Courtney called her cousin in law a
- 20:10Speaker 1: bitch talking about Drew. She made a comment like this
- 20:14Speaker 1: bitch even questioned me. Courtney denies it and says she
- 20:17Speaker 1: would never use the word bitch. Moments later, they see
- 20:22Speaker 1: her on the mic saying bitch. Was Courtney using the
- 20:26Speaker 1: word bitch derogatory in a derogatory way? I mean, I'm
- 20:31Speaker 1: not offended by that word.
- 20:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree, I'm not really offended by it's a
- 20:36Speaker 2: slang word. You can it all depends on the tone.
- 20:39Speaker 2: But I do appreciate a good flash too. She I
- 20:43Speaker 2: think she was using it in a derogatory way, and
- 20:47Speaker 2: because it wasn't like like a bitch or like like
- 20:52Speaker 2: it wasn't bad bitch, It was like, can you believe
- 20:55Speaker 2: this bitch? Is how she said it? I think right right?
- 20:58Speaker 1: I mean, are using word bitch is not necessarily a
- 21:02Speaker 1: term of endearment. No, But like you said, when it
- 21:06Speaker 1: comes to the tone and how you say it, like
- 21:09Speaker 1: you can make it sound really bad. You can make
- 21:11Speaker 1: anything sound really bad with your tone. So Courtney watched
- 21:15Speaker 1: out for those flashbacks because they will always come and
- 21:18Speaker 1: bite you in.
- 21:18Speaker 2: The ass'll haunt you, I know.
- 21:21Speaker 1: So fan thoughts, why is Charret always dating broke men?
- 21:27Speaker 2: Now?
- 21:27Speaker 1: I don't know that he's broke. I don't know that
- 21:29Speaker 1: much about him, but I guess she has a passive dating.
- 21:32Speaker 1: But didn't she date a professional athlete he wasn't broken?
- 21:35Speaker 2: And I don't know. I think there's a difference between
- 21:37Speaker 2: broke and like cheap exactly. Yeah, maybe he's just brugal, Yeah,
- 21:44Speaker 2: I mean, I maybe.
- 21:45Speaker 1: It wasn't his idea to throw the party. Maybe the
- 21:47Speaker 1: girls threw it and he showed up.
- 21:49Speaker 2: I still think he should have just charged in it
- 21:51Speaker 2: and been a baller, But you know, I don't know.
- 21:55Speaker 2: Sary is intriguing to me though, with her dating life.
- 21:59Speaker 1: I love her, huh, I absolutely love her.
- 22:02Speaker 2: She's justuous.
- 22:03Speaker 1: Have you met her in person?
- 22:04Speaker 2: Yeah, yep, I met her, Bravo Khan.
- 22:08Speaker 1: Yeah, if you spend any amount of time with her.
- 22:10Speaker 1: She is so soft spoken, so sweet, rarely says anything
- 22:13Speaker 1: bad about anybody, like she's just really a good girl.
- 22:17Speaker 1: Now people think that Courtney needs to go. I'm going
- 22:20Speaker 1: to agree with that. Another comment was Drew and Ralph
- 22:23Speaker 1: are so passive aggressive with each other. Well, I think
- 22:26Speaker 1: that their relationship obviously was really bad and they were
- 22:29Speaker 1: just doing the best they can on camera. And somebody
- 22:33Speaker 1: said they want Cynthia back. So it was nice to
- 22:36Speaker 1: see Cynthia. She's just so beautiful, so sweet, so funny.
- 22:40Speaker 1: So that's it for Atlanta. We are going to move
- 22:43Speaker 1: on to my new favorite. Have you been you have
- 22:46Speaker 1: to be watching this?
- 22:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I've been watching New York.
- 22:49Speaker 1: Okay, Real Housewives in New York reboot is freaking amazing
- 22:54Speaker 1: and I just I'm excited. It's one of those shows
- 22:57Speaker 1: that I'm super excited to see. Now here's the thing.
- 23:00Speaker 1: I love all the Ogs, and I love that show too.
- 23:04Speaker 1: This one, to me, almost feels like it's a totally
- 23:06Speaker 1: different show.
- 23:07Speaker 2: It's totally a completely different show. I think that it's
- 23:11Speaker 2: a breath of fresh air, and I really enjoy that
- 23:14Speaker 2: there are the natural friendships, just like the Ogs.
- 23:17Speaker 1: Yeah, and I think that the natural friendships, the different backgrounds,
- 23:22Speaker 1: the you know, it's just an amazing cast. So Brent says,
- 23:26Speaker 1: when she was in first grade, she drank a bottle
- 23:29Speaker 1: of diamond tab cough syrup because she wanted to sleep forever.
- 23:32Speaker 1: When she was a senior in high school, she got
- 23:34Speaker 1: a call from her dad that he was dying in
- 23:36Speaker 1: the ICU from liver cancer. Went up. She went up
- 23:40Speaker 1: every weekend and developed a relationship with him. This scene,
- 23:43Speaker 1: like seriously broke my heart. It made me appreciate Brent
- 23:47Speaker 1: even more, understand her a little bit better. You know,
- 23:53Speaker 1: obviously she had a really bad relationship with her dad,
- 23:56Speaker 1: but you know, at the end of the day, it's
- 23:58Speaker 1: still her dad. Yeah, it's still her dad. Now, what
- 24:01Speaker 1: have you forgiven your father?
- 24:03Speaker 2: If you were brand You know what, I think that
- 24:07Speaker 2: her forgiving her father says everything about her. I think
- 24:10Speaker 2: that she needs. Forgiveness isn't always about the other person.
- 24:14Speaker 2: It's about right too. I think for her as a
- 24:18Speaker 2: woman and moving forward from that, her trauma, her child
- 24:21Speaker 2: of trauma and abused, the neglect, she needs to forgive
- 24:24Speaker 2: her father and understand that he was doing his best. However,
- 24:28Speaker 2: my father's still alive. I don't speak to him, so
- 24:32Speaker 2: see that. Watching her in that moment made me cry.
- 24:35Speaker 1: I you know, I thought about you because I knew
- 24:37Speaker 1: you were going to be on the podcast today, so
- 24:39Speaker 1: I thought, oh god, this has probably got to be
- 24:41Speaker 1: a really tough moment. I didn't know where you stood
- 24:43Speaker 1: with your dad right now. What we've seen in the past,
- 24:45Speaker 1: you know, it hasn't been great, no, But I.
- 24:48Speaker 2: Think that forgiveness isn't always about the other person. It's
- 24:51Speaker 2: about ourselves, and it's about killing our own hearts too,
- 24:55Speaker 2: And I really respect that she has grown and has
- 25:00Speaker 2: the courage to do that.
- 25:01Speaker 1: I think she's such a good character on the show.
- 25:03Speaker 1: I mean, it explains a lot. While she's always so
- 25:07Speaker 1: funny and lighthearted and joking and all the things she's done.
- 25:10Speaker 1: It's like, I feel like people that are like that,
- 25:12Speaker 1: they try to mask a lot of pain from the past,
- 25:15Speaker 1: and you know, they don't want to talk about serious
- 25:17Speaker 1: things because you know, it's so heartbreaking. And last week
- 25:21Speaker 1: we saw she talked about her you know, just growing
- 25:23Speaker 1: up in her parents and being raised by her grandparents,
- 25:25Speaker 1: all that stuff. It's just really sad. I did like
- 25:28Speaker 1: that all the women were sweet and supportive and nobody
- 25:31Speaker 1: threw any shade because you know, it doesn't matter what's
- 25:35Speaker 1: going on, somebody can always throw shade on housewives.
- 25:39Speaker 2: Oh when I shared because for legal reasons, I chose
- 25:44Speaker 2: not to share details of my childhood abuse, and my
- 25:50Speaker 2: casters shade.
- 25:50Speaker 1: At me for it. See that's just wrong, questioned it.
- 25:53Speaker 2: They didn't acknowledge it, And I thought it was so
- 25:59Speaker 2: beautiful that they all supported her off life needs right.
- 26:03Speaker 1: Now, right That's what stood out in my head when
- 26:07Speaker 1: I saw this. It's like everybody rallied around her, supported her.
- 26:11Speaker 1: Nobody had any shady comments in their interviews. It just
- 26:15Speaker 1: was like it just made it even that much more real, Like,
- 26:18Speaker 1: don't make somebody question it by somebody's shady comment. You know,
- 26:23Speaker 1: in confessionals, but I did like the brand said something
- 26:27Speaker 1: that I tell my kids all the time, you choose happiness,
- 26:31Speaker 1: Like it's not easy to be happy all the time,
- 26:33Speaker 1: but you have the ability to wake up and go,
- 26:35Speaker 1: you know what, I'm going to be happy today. No,
- 26:37Speaker 1: life isn't perfect, but I'm going to try to make
- 26:39Speaker 1: the best of it. And it shows because she's just
- 26:42Speaker 1: from what we see on the show, she's just happy,
- 26:44Speaker 1: go lucky.
- 26:46Speaker 2: Watching her, especially when she gets around the other women's kids. Yeah,
- 26:51Speaker 2: I'm a big kid. That always makes me smile.
- 26:54Speaker 1: Yes, I know. Now Jessel calls the ladies cackling old hags.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Would you be offended by that?
- 27:03Speaker 2: You know what? I have been called so much worse,
- 27:07Speaker 2: so I would not be offended by that. And I
- 27:09Speaker 2: understand like the British humor. One of my good friends
- 27:13Speaker 2: is from England, and I mean she calls everyone a winker,
- 27:17Speaker 2: you know, so I guess I'm just used to it.
- 27:19Speaker 2: I didn't see any offense in that. I feel like
- 27:22Speaker 2: they're reaching for a reason to be mad at her.
- 27:25Speaker 1: For sure. I am not easily offended period. There's very
- 27:29Speaker 1: little that Well, you know, that's your opinion and that's
- 27:32Speaker 1: what you think. Then whatever. I don't really give a shit,
- 27:34Speaker 1: But I mean, if somebody comes after me as a mom,
- 27:36Speaker 1: I think that's the one thing that I will get
- 27:37Speaker 1: offended by.
- 27:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:39Speaker 1: Sure, So Jessel tells the ladies that she went to
- 27:42Speaker 1: work to work dinner after the Hampton's trip. Aaron asked
- 27:45Speaker 1: if she's working now, and Jessel is offended by Aaron's comment.
- 27:49Speaker 1: She finds it condescending since she has been a fashion
- 27:52Speaker 1: publicist for years. I personally did not find it offensive.
- 27:59Speaker 1: She admitted that she was on maternity leave. She has twins.
- 28:03Speaker 1: She never talked about going back to work. Do you
- 28:05Speaker 1: think Erin was being shady?
- 28:07Speaker 2: I don't think Erin was being shady. I don't either. Yeah.
- 28:10Speaker 2: I felt like that entire conversation was them just not
- 28:13Speaker 2: listening to each other.
- 28:14Speaker 1: And I feel like Aarin, if she's being shady, she'll
- 28:17Speaker 1: just be like straight out shady. She doesn't care for sure. Yes,
- 28:22Speaker 1: So I didn't think she was trying to offend anybody.
- 28:24Speaker 1: She was on maternity leave into story, stop it. I
- 28:27Speaker 1: feel like this girl gets offended over everything. I've watched
- 28:31Speaker 1: every episode, and I could have told you that she
- 28:34Speaker 1: thinks she's a princess Jessel thinks she is a princess.
- 28:38Speaker 1: She didn't have to tell us that. We already know it.
- 28:42Speaker 2: Yeah, and like what she just needs to own it.
- 28:46Speaker 1: I know. But I think Jessel has a lot of
- 28:47Speaker 1: issues because she's got built up anger inside because she
- 28:50Speaker 1: hasn't had sex with her husband yet and it's been
- 28:53Speaker 1: two years or something crazy like that. Brenn says that
- 28:57Speaker 1: hand jobs are back, Are they? Well, I'm going to
- 29:01Speaker 1: talk to you about that in a second, and Ituba says,
- 29:03Speaker 1: anything with a job in it just doesn't want it.
- 29:09Speaker 1: Are you giving hand jobs? Because I feel like he's
- 29:11Speaker 1: got his own hand he can do his own job.
- 29:13Speaker 2: Sid I the hand jobs are so like twenty years ago, Like,
- 29:18Speaker 2: I don't don't do hand jobs anything what you do
- 29:20Speaker 2: when you're teenagers? Me? Why would I.
- 29:25Speaker 1: Were gonna get things going? Maybe a little rugby w dub,
- 29:28Speaker 1: but I'm not going to sit there to the finish
- 29:30Speaker 1: in to do a hand job. A happening that warm up?
- 29:32Speaker 2: Like hi, are you there by the way?
- 29:35Speaker 1: And if you're doing a hand job, on't you go
- 29:36Speaker 1: on to the doing the deed?
- 29:38Speaker 2: Listen? I'm not doing the deed unless I'm benefiting too.
- 29:41Speaker 2: So yeah, I have to be a win win.
- 29:45Speaker 1: I mean, this is not something I'm going to add
- 29:46Speaker 1: to my list of things to do. I'm not going
- 29:48Speaker 1: to be.
- 29:48Speaker 2: Like nowadays, like I don't know about you, but I
- 29:51Speaker 2: like at the end of the day, after being on
- 29:53Speaker 2: my phone and computer, like, yes, I'm thinking about is
- 29:56Speaker 2: another way to work out my hands?
- 29:58Speaker 1: Yeah? Nope, not doing it. Don't need any extra carpal
- 30:01Speaker 1: tunnel pain by giving a hand job not happening.
- 30:03Speaker 2: I hope that she figures it out though, I mean,
- 30:06Speaker 2: it's it's her relationship, but I do feel like she
- 30:09Speaker 2: projects a lot of those pains on to the other women.
- 30:13Speaker 1: Yes, And I know from personal experience, when you're in
- 30:16Speaker 1: a bad relationship and you're filming it, it comes through.
- 30:22Speaker 1: It'll come through, and it's coming through, And I feel
- 30:24Speaker 1: like watching her and her husband to gather in scenes
- 30:27Speaker 1: is extremely painful. Just the way she looked at him
- 30:30Speaker 1: for having a carrot inside of his champagne, which is
- 30:33Speaker 1: weird anyways, but I probably would look at Eddie and
- 30:36Speaker 1: be like, what are you doing? Well, what's that all about?
- 30:39Speaker 2: Yeah, or just ignore it so no one brings attention to.
- 30:41Speaker 1: It, I know, but she wants to you know, throw
- 30:44Speaker 1: them under the bus and roll them over right. See.
- 30:47Speaker 2: I don't have a strong opinion about her yet. I
- 30:49Speaker 2: really don't. I have compassion. I can see that she's
- 30:53Speaker 2: probably just coming out of postpartum stuff whatever. I don't know.
- 30:57Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that she's the least strongest character on
- 31:00Speaker 1: the show cast member on the show. To me, I'm
- 31:04Speaker 1: very invested in all of them. I do feel like,
- 31:07Speaker 1: I mean, I like her, but I feel like she's
- 31:08Speaker 1: not as strong personality as some of the other girls. Now,
- 31:12Speaker 1: Aaron and Jessel meet up to talk, which I thought
- 31:15Speaker 1: this was an epics scene. Jessel says, Tribecca is really
- 31:18Speaker 1: up and coming and has potential. Aaron says, as a
- 31:20Speaker 1: real estate person, Jessel's comment is ridiculous and comes off
- 31:25Speaker 1: like she knows nothing about New York City. Aaron tells
- 31:28Speaker 1: Jessel she thinks she is used to being treated a
- 31:31Speaker 1: certain way and a princess, Jessel says, a princess who
- 31:35Speaker 1: doesn't work. Apparently. She tells Aaron that she embraces women
- 31:40Speaker 1: who are working, and Aaron tells her to watch it.
- 31:45Speaker 1: This whole scene was bizarre to me, and funny and
- 31:48Speaker 1: good in all those things. But first of all, Aaron
- 31:53Speaker 1: Jessel wasn't born and raised in New York, right, I
- 31:57Speaker 1: don't know how long she's been in New York. I
- 31:59Speaker 1: didn't catch that, but she probably obviously doesn't have her
- 32:02Speaker 1: burrows down in New York and Tribecca obviously is an
- 32:07Speaker 1: amazing place.
- 32:08Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's like established old money.
- 32:11Speaker 1: Right yeah. I mean it's where you want to be
- 32:14Speaker 1: and that's where Aaron is. So you're shitting on Aaron's
- 32:17Speaker 1: hood right now, is what you're doing.
- 32:19Speaker 2: Who is a proud New Yorker?
- 32:21Speaker 1: I know, I'm raised, I know, I mean, I don't know.
- 32:26Speaker 1: And then she goes on. Aaron goes on to call
- 32:30Speaker 1: Jessel a lunatic as she walks out the door. She's
- 32:32Speaker 1: a lunatic. Now, whose side were you on in this conversation?
- 32:36Speaker 1: Like we talked about it a minute ago. She wasn't
- 32:38Speaker 1: trying to shade her in any way. She thought she
- 32:40Speaker 1: was on maternity to leave. She clearly knows that she
- 32:42Speaker 1: has a career, and at her party we see how
- 32:45Speaker 1: big her career is because there's a lot of big names,
- 32:48Speaker 1: huge names.
- 32:49Speaker 2: I think that it was one of those moments where
- 32:53Speaker 2: Jessel just didn't have She's not standing in her power.
- 32:56Speaker 2: She's not standing on her own two feet. So when
- 32:58Speaker 2: someone else is coming at you strong in their conviction,
- 33:01Speaker 2: it's easy to kind of backpedal. Right, Yeah, So I
- 33:04Speaker 2: think it comes back to what you said earlier. She's
- 33:06Speaker 2: just not as strong, but she clearly has it because
- 33:10Speaker 2: in this conversation, I've when I first watched it, I
- 33:14Speaker 2: was more with Aaron.
- 33:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I can.
- 33:16Speaker 2: I have sympathy for Jessel because I see that she's
- 33:19Speaker 2: just trying to own her power and it's hard to
- 33:21Speaker 2: go against someone who's strong and erin.
- 33:23Speaker 1: I agree on that. I agree on that, and Jesseel,
- 33:26Speaker 1: I mean she is a mom of twins, one year
- 33:30Speaker 1: old twins, so I mean there's so much going on
- 33:34Speaker 1: in that brain right now, and then not having a
- 33:36Speaker 1: great relationship with her husband and all this. And I
- 33:39Speaker 1: don't think that she was trying to shade by saying
- 33:42Speaker 1: that tried Mecca is an up and coming she just
- 33:45Speaker 1: didn't know. I think she just didn't know. So I
- 33:48Speaker 1: don't know. I mean at first I thought for sure
- 33:50Speaker 1: I was on Aaron's side, but now after talking to you,
- 33:52Speaker 1: I'm like, you know what, maybe you know I'm not
- 33:55Speaker 1: on anybody's side. Yeah, I'm not on anybody's side. But
- 34:00Speaker 1: at Jesu's party, they FaceTime Jenna to ask her where
- 34:03Speaker 1: she is, and she shows she's decorating her Christmas tree. Now,
- 34:07Speaker 1: Brinn says she thought there was an event Jenna had
- 34:10Speaker 1: to go too, and it's not an event in their minds.
- 34:14Speaker 1: It is decorating a Christmas tree at her house with
- 34:18Speaker 1: her family. I don't know if they were all family,
- 34:20Speaker 1: but her son.
- 34:21Speaker 2: Was there, her son and her god children.
- 34:23Speaker 1: God children. Okay, so I mean she didn't say where
- 34:27Speaker 1: the event was, it's still an event she had, Like
- 34:29Speaker 1: it looked like a party to me. She had a
- 34:31Speaker 1: chef there, she had people there, they were decorating the
- 34:34Speaker 1: Christmas tree. She also said that she doesn't spend that
- 34:37Speaker 1: much time with her son. She doesn't get to seem
- 34:38Speaker 1: very often. So if she had to choose decorating Christmas
- 34:42Speaker 1: tree with her family or going to a fashion party,
- 34:46Speaker 1: I'm sure she goes to a lot of.
- 34:47Speaker 2: Fashion parties absolutely, And what we've seen so far, like
- 34:52Speaker 2: everything is an event for John, Like she goes all
- 34:55Speaker 2: out for everything.
- 34:56Speaker 1: Everything. Yeah, well, Brent calls her Jenna Lyon instead of
- 34:59Speaker 1: Jena Allons, and I don't think I think she was
- 35:02Speaker 1: just being snarky. I don't think she was lying. She
- 35:05Speaker 1: just couldn't attend because she had an event at her house.
- 35:09Speaker 2: Yeah, she was spending Christmas with her son and her
- 35:12Speaker 2: god children. I think she just didn't I mean, when
- 35:15Speaker 2: she first said she had something and then she's like,
- 35:17Speaker 2: I don't know, she was kind of shady in her bit.
- 35:20Speaker 2: She's like, I don't know what I have, but I
- 35:22Speaker 2: have something. So she just didn't want to go number one,
- 35:25Speaker 2: which is fine, right, So, Yeah, it's holidays with your
- 35:29Speaker 2: son you don't see all the time. That's an event.
- 35:31Speaker 1: But I kind of feel like Jenna doesn't even know
- 35:35Speaker 1: what this reality show is about. I feel like a
- 35:37Speaker 1: lot of times she's there like huh, what what huh?
- 35:41Speaker 1: She as this look on her face, like what did
- 35:42Speaker 1: I sign up for?
- 35:44Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 35:44Speaker 1: All right, absolutely, But so the event was at her house.
- 35:47Speaker 1: Get over at Girls. Aaron then wines about the two
- 35:52Speaker 1: buck chalk wine at the party and Brent say's I
- 35:56Speaker 1: with two buck chuck. She never has a shortage of
- 36:01Speaker 1: one liners. Ever.
- 36:03Speaker 2: No, she kind of reminds me of Heather in that way.
- 36:05Speaker 2: My Heather.
- 36:06Speaker 1: Yeah, Heather does have great confessionals.
- 36:09Speaker 2: Always on it, Like with the one liners.
- 36:11Speaker 1: I mean this party, the fashion, the guest. I feel
- 36:14Speaker 1: like I buy my clothest target after watching all these
- 36:18Speaker 1: things so dressed up. When that one lady came in
- 36:21Speaker 1: with the I don't even know who she is.
- 36:23Speaker 2: She is editor or something, an editor, a big editor,
- 36:27Speaker 2: editor for Vogue, I think, or major magazine.
- 36:29Speaker 1: Yeah, the red dots and all that stuff, and I'm like, wow, I.
- 36:33Speaker 2: Would never know who that is, would you?
- 36:35Speaker 1: No, I wouldn't. And they, I mean, their style, their fashion,
- 36:40Speaker 1: everything on the show is just so pointed on it,
- 36:43Speaker 1: and I'm like, how do they do it? I just
- 36:45Speaker 1: don't know. I don't have the brain to sit there
- 36:48Speaker 1: and try to pick out outfits when I have to go.
- 36:50Speaker 1: Like if I'm traveling and I have to pack my suitcase,
- 36:53Speaker 1: it's torture to me. Torture.
- 36:56Speaker 2: Are you like me? I have a closet full of
- 36:59Speaker 2: clothes and bags and I go in there and I'm like,
- 37:01Speaker 2: I have nothing to wear.
- 37:02Speaker 1: That's how I am. And then if I have it together, yeah,
- 37:05Speaker 1: I don't know how to put it together. And then
- 37:06Speaker 1: if I have an event or something I have to do,
- 37:09Speaker 1: I'm like, I never shot my own closet. I just
- 37:11Speaker 1: go on Revolve and just buy a new outfit same
- 37:14Speaker 1: then sometimes I buy two or three. Then I hang
- 37:16Speaker 1: them up, I wear one of them and I forget
- 37:18Speaker 1: the other two or even there, and.
- 37:19Speaker 2: You forget to return them, and then you pull them
- 37:21Speaker 2: out and you're like shit, I couldn't wow.
- 37:23Speaker 1: And then I'm like, oh, this one's out of style. Now.
- 37:25Speaker 2: Well, listen, Salt Lake City isn't really known for its fashion.
- 37:29Speaker 2: We don't even the nicest store we have. We have
- 37:32Speaker 2: one Louis Vuitton and Saltlake Oh really, and then we
- 37:36Speaker 2: have north Strown.
- 37:37Speaker 1: Yeah, well that's yeah.
- 37:39Speaker 2: Billard's, Macy's, you know, like we don't have It's not
- 37:43Speaker 2: really a thing here.
- 37:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I get it, Orange County. I mean it could be,
- 37:50Speaker 1: but I'm not really like a I'm not one that
- 37:54Speaker 1: is going to put labels all over my clothes. I
- 37:57Speaker 1: like nice shoes, I like nice belts, my life's handbags.
- 38:01Speaker 1: But when it comes to I'm not the one that's
- 38:03Speaker 1: going to be wearing Louis Vuitton shorts. It's not they're cute.
- 38:06Speaker 1: I love them, but I feel like they're so out
- 38:08Speaker 1: of style, so quick and so expensive that I would
- 38:11Speaker 1: rather just keep my money in the bank.
- 38:13Speaker 2: Well, look at it's I think wealth is shown in
- 38:15Speaker 2: different ways. I mean, look at your house. You have
- 38:17Speaker 2: a beautiful home. You just got your second home. I
- 38:20Speaker 2: would argue that both of us are similar in this.
- 38:23Speaker 2: I probably eat. I'm more expensive food than like all
- 38:26Speaker 2: my all my money goes to food because I eat
- 38:29Speaker 2: organic and healthy.
- 38:30Speaker 1: And yeah, and that's expensive. And traveling. I love, we
- 38:33Speaker 1: love to travel, so we'd always take one or two
- 38:35Speaker 1: big you know, European vacations every single year for a
- 38:40Speaker 1: long step during COVID. But so it depends, you know,
- 38:43Speaker 1: I don't know. I just don't want to Well, I
- 38:48Speaker 1: don't know.
- 38:48Speaker 2: It's all any It all comes down to your lifestyle too.
- 38:51Speaker 2: You're active, you're fit, You're always on the go like
- 38:54Speaker 2: you're you know what I mean.
- 38:55Speaker 1: If I could wear sweats every single day, I'd be happy.
- 38:58Speaker 1: I know, that's sad.
- 39:00Speaker 2: It's either I'm like full workout or like cocktail. I
- 39:03Speaker 2: don't really have an in between.
- 39:04Speaker 1: I don't that's my problem. You know what I don't have.
- 39:07Speaker 1: I don't have shirts. I have workout clothes, and I
- 39:11Speaker 1: have dresses, and I have jumpsuits, but just to wear
- 39:15Speaker 1: like jeans and I'm like, I don't have any like blouses.
- 39:18Speaker 1: I don't ever buy them. I don't know I need
- 39:21Speaker 1: I need a stylist.
- 39:24Speaker 2: Listen, I think you're doing great.
- 39:26Speaker 1: Can you get thank you? Can you get like stylists,
- 39:28Speaker 1: like interns, Like you know how Sonya on New York
- 39:32Speaker 1: used to get interns and have to pay them and
- 39:34Speaker 1: they would do everything for her.
- 39:35Speaker 2: You need stylist interns.
- 39:39Speaker 1: But I'll have to say, I'm gonna give it to
- 39:41Speaker 1: Brand for having the best line out of the episode.
- 39:44Speaker 1: And when they were talking about how uh how Jenna
- 39:47Speaker 1: had an event and then she said, well, I guess
- 39:50Speaker 1: she calls it an event at her house, and Brinne goes,
- 39:51Speaker 1: I guess this morning when I took a ship, I
- 39:54Speaker 1: had a gala gala And I'm like, oh my god, God,
- 39:58Speaker 1: oh my god. Just works over time with humor. She's
- 40:03Speaker 1: so hilarious. Is so fan thoughts. Jessel is the new Ramona.
- 40:09Speaker 1: I could see that. I could see that Ramona is
- 40:12Speaker 1: just not self aware and says things and doesn't okay,
- 40:15Speaker 1: take ownership. I think that's what it is. The conversation
- 40:19Speaker 1: between Aaron and Jessel was amazing TV. I think it
- 40:22Speaker 1: was too. I think it was. It was good. It
- 40:24Speaker 1: was you know, they're definitely not they're fake friends. They're
- 40:27Speaker 1: not friends, but it was a good conversation. This one.
- 40:30Speaker 1: Jessel is becoming the star, so I think people are
- 40:34Speaker 1: starting to really see her now, where she's kind of
- 40:36Speaker 1: been in the back burner a little bit in the
- 40:38Speaker 1: first few episodes. Jenna needs to own up to things more. Well,
- 40:42Speaker 1: I don't know what she needs to own up to.
- 40:45Speaker 1: I think she just needs to realize she's on a
- 40:46Speaker 1: reality show.
- 40:48Speaker 2: Right when you say it that way, it makes perfect sense. Yeah,
- 40:52Speaker 2: she needs to know what the assignment is, right.
- 40:54Speaker 1: Right, She's just there. She's just so famous in New
- 40:59Speaker 1: York City, and does she just oh, Okay, this is
- 41:02Speaker 1: just another event that I need to go to. Everything's
- 41:04Speaker 1: an event. Okay, let's take a break and then we're
- 41:08Speaker 1: going to come back with Crappy Lake. Okay, so you
- 41:22Speaker 1: haven't seen all the episodes, but let me just tell you.
- 41:25Speaker 1: I like that it's only thirty minutes. I like that
- 41:28Speaker 1: it's quick, it's fast, there's not a lot of drama.
- 41:32Speaker 1: I think that they could have wrapped this up in
- 41:33Speaker 1: six episodes, but we are still on episode eight or
- 41:36Speaker 1: something like that. So the best moments where the motel
- 41:40Speaker 1: has been has new carpeting, new paint. Sonya and Luan's
- 41:44Speaker 1: sweets are done and there are a new there are
- 41:47Speaker 1: new gutters, so that's very exciting there in a crappy
- 41:51Speaker 1: lake wherever they're at, and Sonya says that it's the
- 41:54Speaker 1: fastest renovation she has ever seen in her life. While
- 41:58Speaker 1: moving furniture in Sonya gets under the bed frame and
- 42:01Speaker 1: jokes she's behind bars again. She jokes her husband came
- 42:05Speaker 1: and she asked for a muffin and her makeup kit.
- 42:09Speaker 1: So when she was in jail, when he came to
- 42:10Speaker 1: pick her up from Jael, she wanted a muffin and
- 42:13Speaker 1: a makeup kit. She says. No one picked up Luian
- 42:16Speaker 1: in jail. She laughed in her flip flops. Oh my god.
- 42:20Speaker 1: First of all, have you ever been to jail?
- 42:22Speaker 2: No?
- 42:22Speaker 1: Okay, thank you either have I and I don't want to.
- 42:25Speaker 1: I'm in a knock on wood. Did you never know
- 42:27Speaker 1: what's gonna happen while filming? But no, Sonya is crazy.
- 42:34Speaker 1: She's batshit crazy, but in a good way. She's so funny.
- 42:39Speaker 2: She's hinged at all times.
- 42:40Speaker 1: At all times, at all times. Now the sweets looked better,
- 42:47Speaker 1: but they still look like shit.
- 42:49Speaker 2: Absolutely, like Sonia didn't even try to like upgrade Beadyk.
- 42:54Speaker 1: I mean the carpet that was put and the carpet
- 42:58Speaker 1: that was put in was freaking ugly.
- 43:01Speaker 2: It looked like they ripped it out of an office
- 43:03Speaker 2: that was closing.
- 43:04Speaker 1: Yes, I'm like, why didn't you just at least put
- 43:06Speaker 1: down some you know, luxury vinyl flooring that looked like
- 43:10Speaker 1: wood And you know, I said it last week. That
- 43:13Speaker 1: way you can mop up the GI's on the floor
- 43:15Speaker 1: instead of just looking at it from one of those.
- 43:17Speaker 2: Lights, like it's just paint the walls.
- 43:21Speaker 1: Paint the wall. I mean it was not good. But anyways,
- 43:25Speaker 1: Luanne and Sonya put on sexy Christmas costumes for Christmas
- 43:28Speaker 1: in July. Sonya usually goes commando shocker, but they are
- 43:33Speaker 1: in Benton, so Benton, so I think she wore underwear
- 43:39Speaker 1: because her dress was so short.
- 43:42Speaker 2: Yeah, well I remember the woman commenting saying she bent
- 43:45Speaker 2: over and you saw her thong.
- 43:47Speaker 1: Well, the people in Benton talked about how short Sonya's
- 43:49Speaker 1: dress was and how they can see her thong when
- 43:52Speaker 1: she bends over. One guy went as far as to say,
- 43:55Speaker 1: when they walked up, they looked like hookers. They looked
- 43:59Speaker 1: like hookers. Sonya says, she's trying to be sexy, but
- 44:02Speaker 1: the kids are laughing. I don't know why she wants
- 44:05Speaker 1: to be sexy for Christmas, but okay, and then Sonya
- 44:09Speaker 1: says news lort. Luanne thinks everyone knows who she is
- 44:13Speaker 1: because her head is so big. I think these two
- 44:17Speaker 1: are starting to get sick of each other.
- 44:19Speaker 2: It seems like it. It seems like they're like sisters
- 44:22Speaker 2: who've been staying together for too long.
- 44:24Speaker 1: Now. If you could do a crappy like show somewhere else, obviously,
- 44:31Speaker 1: who would you want to do that? It's I think
- 44:33Speaker 1: it's like a six or eight week commitment. You go,
- 44:36Speaker 1: you stay in a hotel. Who would you want to
- 44:39Speaker 1: do that with?
- 44:42Speaker 2: From my own cast or anyone your own cast? Your
- 44:47Speaker 2: own cast, probably Angie catch Nabus for sure.
- 44:54Speaker 1: I love Auntie.
- 44:55Speaker 2: You would have so much fun.
- 44:57Speaker 1: It is really a great concept for show, and I
- 45:00Speaker 1: really hope that they franchise it or every season it's
- 45:05Speaker 1: somebody new, a new couple of girls from Housewives. Like
- 45:09Speaker 1: I think it's a cute concept.
- 45:11Speaker 2: But like I said, if I was renovating. I would
- 45:14Speaker 2: really renovate, like I'd put a lot of energy into it.
- 45:17Speaker 1: Well that's my jam. I love to renovate. I was
- 45:20Speaker 1: up here at Big Bear last week, stripped wallpaper painted.
- 45:24Speaker 1: I did. If I could do Florine, I would do
- 45:26Speaker 1: Florin too, But it's so hard to get contractors up here,
- 45:29Speaker 1: so I have to wait until somebody. I'm like, I
- 45:31Speaker 1: can't just sit and look at this shit. I have
- 45:33Speaker 1: to start working. So Luanne and Sonya give a speech
- 45:38Speaker 1: the town during the Christmas in July event. Sonya says
- 45:41Speaker 1: Luanne thinks everyone knows who they are because because we're
- 45:45Speaker 1: heading is so big. Sonya says that therapists calls it illusions.
- 45:49Speaker 1: D grandor are Sonya and Luanne. I think they're starting
- 45:53Speaker 1: to get fed up with each other, is what I
- 45:54Speaker 1: think is going on.
- 45:56Speaker 2: You know, I haven't seen all of the episodes, but
- 45:58Speaker 2: watching just that one for sure, like you can tell
- 46:02Speaker 2: they're starting to pick on each other a little bit.
- 46:04Speaker 1: I mean I couldn't. Let's say I did with VICKI
- 46:08Speaker 1: I spent a lot of time Vicky, but I think
- 46:12Speaker 1: tight quarters like that six weeks, we get on each
- 46:15Speaker 1: other's nerves. And people want to see that. I think
- 46:16Speaker 1: that's normal.
- 46:17Speaker 2: Well, you and VICKI have the history of that, right, yes, yes.
- 46:22Speaker 1: So what is not normal is Paula Abdul's showing up
- 46:26Speaker 1: to Crappy Lake. She surprises the group of girls dancers
- 46:30Speaker 1: who are training for the show. They have Paula take
- 46:32Speaker 1: a picture with the girls so it will get people
- 46:35Speaker 1: to buy tickets to the show. Are you a Paula
- 46:38Speaker 1: Abdul fan? And do you have a favorite song?
- 46:41Speaker 2: Yes, I'm a huge fan of Paula Abdul. I grew
- 46:44Speaker 2: up as a dancer. You Yeah. I remember going to
- 46:48Speaker 2: my friend's houses to watch her music videos because we
- 46:51Speaker 2: didn't have MTV or TV, so I would go and
- 46:54Speaker 2: watch her music videos. And I love all of her
- 46:57Speaker 2: videos because of the dancing.
- 46:59Speaker 1: Amazing dancer.
- 47:01Speaker 2: Yes, even though my favorite album that she released, I
- 47:06Speaker 2: was only two years old, but I would. I watched
- 47:09Speaker 2: it all through like my teenage years too, because she's
- 47:11Speaker 2: such an inspiration in the dance community. I love Rush Rush,
- 47:17Speaker 2: the one where she's tap dancing in the beginning, straight up.
- 47:20Speaker 1: Telling me do you want to love me forever?
- 47:23Speaker 2: Yeah? The opening tap Yes, Well she's tapping and she's
- 47:27Speaker 2: doing all.
- 47:27Speaker 1: That's my favorite. By the way, her standing next to
- 47:31Speaker 1: all the other girls there. I didn't realize she was
- 47:33Speaker 1: so tiny.
- 47:34Speaker 2: She's teeny tiny.
- 47:36Speaker 1: She's the tiny, short, little, tiny but little thing. She's
- 47:39Speaker 1: so cute and has it really aged at all.
- 47:42Speaker 2: No, we need to know her secrets.
- 47:43Speaker 1: I know, I don't know where she lives, but I
- 47:45Speaker 1: feel like she could be on a housewive show.
- 47:48Speaker 2: She absolutely would rock it as a housewife.
- 47:51Speaker 1: Well, she did have a show on Bravo. I don't
- 47:53Speaker 1: know if you remember this called Hey Paula. It was
- 47:56Speaker 1: back in two thousand and seven, right, I know, so
- 48:00Speaker 1: she's basically technically a Bravo leberty yea, because she's been
- 48:05Speaker 1: on Bravo before. But yeah, but that was the end
- 48:09Speaker 1: of a crappy lake cute episode. I think one or
- 48:13Speaker 1: two more to go. Fan thought Sonya goes too far.
- 48:17Speaker 1: She's still a vulgar, vulgar and I just think that's Sonya.
- 48:21Speaker 1: I think it's funny. Maybe Sanya is not everybody. I
- 48:25Speaker 1: don't think she's too vulgar. I just think she I mean,
- 48:28Speaker 1: you have seen every orifice, every naked part of that
- 48:30Speaker 1: girl's body on the show, and I like that. I
- 48:32Speaker 1: don't know. I would love to see Paula Abdul as
- 48:35Speaker 1: a housewife. Somebody said, I said the same thing. Not surprised.
- 48:39Speaker 1: Lane has never heard of Christmas in July. I had
- 48:43Speaker 1: never heard of it either. But when I did Ultimate
- 48:45Speaker 1: Girls Trip, we had Christmas in I don't know, September
- 48:49Speaker 1: or whatever it was. It's kind of a cool concept.
- 48:52Speaker 2: Yeah, it is a cool concept. I'd never heard of
- 48:55Speaker 2: it either. But don't we sell our great independence? Dy
