- 0:00Speaker 1: Freedom is about to be lost in the next three
- 0:02Speaker 1: days when it comes to crypto. Let's break it down.
- 0:04Speaker 1: I do want to thank our sponsor and that is Tangent,
- 0:06Speaker 1: because this gives you freedom in self custody. You guys
- 0:10Speaker 1: need to take part in self custody right now. This
- 0:13Speaker 1: is one of the best things in crypto that you
- 0:14Speaker 1: can do, and that is getting your tokens off of
- 0:16Speaker 1: centralized exchanges. Put them in your own managed wallet. Very
- 0:21Speaker 1: easy to set up and super simple, three minutes to
- 0:24Speaker 1: get going here. It works like a credit card with
- 0:27Speaker 1: your phone and this is by far one of the
- 0:29Speaker 1: best platforms out there for self custody. Use it, guys.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Use our link down below to get a little bit
- 0:34Speaker 1: of a discount. Let's get into everything that's going on
- 0:36Speaker 1: with the Clarity Act because this is a huge, huge weekend.
- 0:40Speaker 1: If you look at what the current Senate Baking Committee
- 0:43Speaker 1: is doing right now, is we have a few more days,
- 0:46Speaker 1: three days to be exact, before Thursday at ten am
- 0:50Speaker 1: when the write ups and the markups will go into play.
- 0:53Speaker 1: And this is one of the most important times that
- 0:56Speaker 1: we have seen in crypto, and there's for many reasons,
- 0:58Speaker 1: and I'll break down a lot of things that are happening,
- 1:00Speaker 1: and there was a lot of drama over the weekend
- 1:02Speaker 1: right now. What's interesting, though, is a poly market is
- 1:05Speaker 1: now holding the possibility of a Clarity Act at around
- 1:09Speaker 1: seventy nine percent. I don't know if polymarket would go
- 1:14Speaker 1: stay there. I think it would go down after what
- 1:16Speaker 1: I'm about to show you here on today's episode, because
- 1:19Speaker 1: this is a critical thing when you look at this
- 1:22Speaker 1: new advocacy group, and this is the interesting point I'm
- 1:25Speaker 1: getting at Investors for Transparency. They're running primetime ads on
- 1:29Speaker 1: Fox News primarily urging viewers to oppose DeFi provisions in
- 1:34Speaker 1: the upcoming crypto market. So it's basically saying, don't let
- 1:37Speaker 1: DeFi get in the way of passing this, when in reality,
- 1:41Speaker 1: DeFi is one of the cornerstones of what this market
- 1:45Speaker 1: clarity bill is all about. And this going into the
- 1:49Speaker 1: primetime cycle to a Republican platform like Fox News tells
- 1:53Speaker 1: me they're trying to reach other Republicans out there that
- 1:55Speaker 1: haven't made their decision up on how they're going to
- 1:57Speaker 1: go on Clarity going forward. Here. Of course, with some
- 2:01Speaker 1: other things that happened, this of course was Heyen Adams
- 2:03Speaker 1: hitting on the same thing group DA Group named Investors
- 2:07Speaker 1: for Transparency running public ads. This divert deserves a Prometheum
- 2:11Speaker 1: style deep dive on crypto industry. And remember the last
- 2:15Speaker 1: time that we saw Clarity in the early stages, Prometheum
- 2:19Speaker 1: was one of the companies. And if you guys go
- 2:21Speaker 1: back and look at just search Prometheum on our channel
- 2:24Speaker 1: and you'll find out these guys were an actor, definitely
- 2:27Speaker 1: an op that was trying to thwart the movement of
- 2:31Speaker 1: what we would see in Clarity and furthermore even into
- 2:34Speaker 1: the Genius Acts. So this may be the kind of
- 2:37Speaker 1: thing that we're dealing with right here with this Avacy group,
- 2:39Speaker 1: because what we have not been able to do is
- 2:41Speaker 1: find out who these guys are, who's funding them, who's
- 2:45Speaker 1: behind them. It's almost like a black box. And they
- 2:48Speaker 1: popped up on Twitter last fall twenty twenty five, so
- 2:52Speaker 1: it's a brand new organization and a brand new thing forward.
- 2:57Speaker 1: So I don't know, guys, this is a very peculiar
- 3:00Speaker 1: at a peculiar time. For sure. It boils down to
- 3:02Speaker 1: basically three elements, What if any in terms of ethic
- 3:06Speaker 1: rules will apply to public officials dabbling in crypto? This
- 3:09Speaker 1: is going to be a big deal, including the president,
- 3:11Speaker 1: which means if the President were to give up his
- 3:14Speaker 1: stable coin in a way of you know, kind of
- 3:16Speaker 1: as a sacrificial lump lamb, that may be enough for
- 3:19Speaker 1: this to pull over the finish line. Who wins the
- 3:21Speaker 1: great stable coin yield debate? This, of course, is either
- 3:24Speaker 1: going to be crypto or banks, or whether our compromise emergence,
- 3:27Speaker 1: which I think is kind of what's brewing right now.
- 3:29Speaker 1: I'll show you what I wrote about this weekend that's
- 3:32Speaker 1: specific to that point. And then also where Democrats and
- 3:35Speaker 1: Republicans land on DeFi, especially around securities trading and illicit finance.
- 3:41Speaker 1: So this whole issue with DeFi, which is the one
- 3:43Speaker 1: area that is trying to be protected, is pretty significant.
- 3:47Speaker 1: A couple of points that came out over the weekend
- 3:49Speaker 1: was Senator also Brooks put out a proposal to restrict
- 3:52Speaker 1: restrict yield transactions, one of the areas I have a
- 3:55Speaker 1: compromise that was aligned for this. This was a part
- 3:58Speaker 1: of a two part tweet that I put out out
- 4:00Speaker 1: around Senator also Brooks, if you guys aren't following or she,
- 4:03Speaker 1: of course, is a Senator from Maryland, and the idea
- 4:07Speaker 1: was really boiling around two frameworks, and this is in
- 4:10Speaker 1: reference to yields. One was the passive yield band, which
- 4:14Speaker 1: is kind of the bank shield. This would basically restrict
- 4:16Speaker 1: third party intermediaries such as exchanges to give not give
- 4:20Speaker 1: you yield, so that would be a no go. The
- 4:22Speaker 1: idea was is that it would go to an active
- 4:25Speaker 1: yield pathway, which means that you'd have to do something
- 4:28Speaker 1: with your with your asset, so staking lockups, doing things
- 4:33Speaker 1: like that, committing the fund for a fixed set of
- 4:36Speaker 1: terms like a seven to thirty or ninety. Those are
- 4:38Speaker 1: the kind of variations based on everybody that we've talked
- 4:42Speaker 1: to so far. And we had Senator Warren Davidson on
- 4:44Speaker 1: last week, we had the DeFi Education Fund. This is
- 4:48Speaker 1: something that both senators and congressmen are getting behind from
- 4:52Speaker 1: both sides of the aisle. So this would get a
- 4:55Speaker 1: little bit interesting as we start to see this go forward.
- 4:59Speaker 1: But again, and this is still very new, and it's
- 5:02Speaker 1: very possible that we're going to deal with something that
- 5:05Speaker 1: maybe is even more nefarious here when it comes to
- 5:08Speaker 1: the Clarity Act. One note that you can kind of
- 5:10Speaker 1: look at, and that is if they can ban stable
- 5:12Speaker 1: corn rewards The next up is going to be staking, rewards, lending, etc.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Pretty much whatever they want. It's about who sets the boundaries.
- 5:18Speaker 1: To the point I'm getting at. The one thing you
- 5:21Speaker 1: can do, and remember this is one of the things
- 5:23Speaker 1: that Coinbase did to help get Genius Act through. Is
- 5:27Speaker 1: this right here? Go overstand with Crypto You guys can
- 5:29Speaker 1: of course reach out to your senators. You join the fight.
- 5:33Speaker 1: It gives you some things to put into that. We're
- 5:35Speaker 1: going to actually show you the three things that you
- 5:38Speaker 1: need to have addressing all of your senators and congressman
- 5:42Speaker 1: out there in being able to get them aware of
- 5:45Speaker 1: where you stand. And I'll show you that at the
- 5:46Speaker 1: end of the video. Another thing I want to go
- 5:49Speaker 1: to is a clip.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Now.
- 5:50Speaker 1: This clip is Charles Hoskinson talking about David Sachs. He
- 5:53Speaker 1: is the cryptosar and aisar and whether or not he
- 5:57Speaker 1: is successful or not successful all based on Clarity take
- 6:01Speaker 1: a look.
- 6:02Speaker 3: But here's the reality of the situation. I don't think
- 6:04Speaker 3: Clarity Act is going to pass in this quarter, and
- 6:06Speaker 3: because it's an election year, if it doesn't pass this quarter,
- 6:09Speaker 3: I think Sachs should resign. He's utterly failed US as
- 6:12Speaker 3: an industry. How could he control what Trump did before
- 6:16Speaker 3: he was even in office. He was selected before Trump
- 6:20Speaker 3: launched trump Coin, And what he should have done is say,
- 6:23Speaker 3: if you do this, I'm going to resign. That's the
- 6:25Speaker 3: part of all this is that he's so poorly advised
- 6:27Speaker 3: by the people around him. If his goal is just extractive,
- 6:32Speaker 3: he could have made so much more money doing it
- 6:34Speaker 3: after the framework, because the new framework would have supercharged
- 6:37Speaker 3: the markets and brought a lot of money into the markets.
- 6:39Speaker 3: And you're launching a coin into a bull market. And
- 6:42Speaker 3: also the Democrats can't complain. Here's another thing that David
- 6:45Speaker 3: up on. It is so bad, it's so bad. What
- 6:48Speaker 3: are the standards we're going to be writing RFPs at
- 6:50Speaker 3: the State Department? So how do we distinguish Solana from ethereum,
- 6:53Speaker 3: from bitcoin, from Cardino from anything else?
- 6:56Speaker 2: You can't.
- 6:57Speaker 3: So it's just bribery. It's just one oh one stuff.
- 7:00Speaker 3: And I guess he's doing that and he's the AI
- 7:02Speaker 3: guy at the same time, And what are the KPIs?
- 7:05Speaker 3: But most people would say passing the Genius Act and
- 7:07Speaker 3: passing clarity from an outside perspective, right, And what do
- 7:11Speaker 3: we get with genius? We got fan service for banks,
- 7:13Speaker 3: but by no means it is that a retail bill,
- 7:16Speaker 3: and you know it does is centralizes the industry around
- 7:18Speaker 3: black Rock and canter and you know Goldman Sachs and
- 7:22Speaker 3: huzzah great.
- 7:23Speaker 1: I agree with almost everything he's saying there. The big key, though,
- 7:26Speaker 1: to me, would be the position of Sacks. Sachs is
- 7:29Speaker 1: in David Sacks, the cryptos are he is in control
- 7:33Speaker 1: of the White House or at least the administration when
- 7:35Speaker 1: it comes to educating Congress and the Senate. Now I
- 7:38Speaker 1: get it, there's a lot of mistakes that happened, but
- 7:40Speaker 1: at one point he is going to have to be
- 7:43Speaker 1: called to the floor to either win it or lose it.
- 7:47Speaker 1: If he loses it and we get a bad Clarity Act,
- 7:51Speaker 1: that's the worst thing that can happen for crypto. It
- 7:54Speaker 1: may be good for banks, or it may be good
- 7:57Speaker 1: for enterprises, but it's not going to be good for freedom.
- 8:00Speaker 1: And I think that's the biggest issue. You probably could
- 8:03Speaker 1: have seen things starting to showcase a little bit when
- 8:06Speaker 1: Bohines left. Not saying Bohines was an answer to it,
- 8:09Speaker 1: but the fact that we started to see a weakness
- 8:11Speaker 1: in the administration that started probably should have given us
- 8:15Speaker 1: some indication that something was brewing there in DC. Another
- 8:19Speaker 1: thing that you got to concern yourself with. And this
- 8:21Speaker 1: is where it gets a little dicey, and this is
- 8:23Speaker 1: the Trump administration going to Davos. This concerns because it's
- 8:27Speaker 1: likely that he's probably going to bring up crypto as
- 8:30Speaker 1: a key point at the Davos event. How he does,
- 8:34Speaker 1: it will be interesting to see what he announces beyond
- 8:38Speaker 1: the Lookout, because that's coming up just here in a
- 8:39Speaker 1: few weeks. That also may have something to do with
- 8:43Speaker 1: what's going on in DC around the Clarity Act. And
- 8:46Speaker 1: I would rather see a good bill that gets denied
- 8:50Speaker 1: and US kind of work through that than a bad
- 8:53Speaker 1: bill that makes it through. So the compromises are an
- 8:56Speaker 1: absolute no. Many of these things are all about freedom
- 8:59Speaker 1: when it comes to crypto. Speaking of freedom, you have
- 9:02Speaker 1: to consider one of the things that X has brought us,
- 9:05Speaker 1: and I feel like it has been an era for freedom.
- 9:08Speaker 1: And the problem is is that X themselves said, well,
- 9:12Speaker 1: while all of this is going on, which is first
- 9:14Speaker 1: next two few months is going to be critical for
- 9:17Speaker 1: crypto narratives to be able to get out in the open.
- 9:20Speaker 1: And if they're doing this, which is the statement right
- 9:23Speaker 1: there from one of the developers. Truth be told, Yes,
- 9:25Speaker 1: we had X are heavily focused on removing bubbles such
- 9:28Speaker 1: as crypto Twitter from our app. Now, I don't know
- 9:31Speaker 1: if this is a conspiracy, if there's something going on,
- 9:34Speaker 1: but what you have is you have a shadow organization
- 9:37Speaker 1: in DC marketing to Republicans who knows where that money
- 9:43Speaker 1: is coming from. Then you have pretty much the guy
- 9:46Speaker 1: who is behind most of the proliferation of crypto information,
- 9:50Speaker 1: which has done and been through X pretty much for
- 9:54Speaker 1: the most part over these last few bull runs. All right,
- 9:57Speaker 1: so let's go to one other point here. This, of course,
- 9:59Speaker 1: with Salana jumping out there and saying, all right, EX
- 10:02Speaker 1: to launch smart cash tags. This is kind of something
- 10:05Speaker 1: that has been out there, but you guys probably saw this.
- 10:07Speaker 1: It does start to accelerate more information, but I don't know,
- 10:10Speaker 1: I think this was just kind of a you know,
- 10:12Speaker 1: a false giving from X to say, hey, you know,
- 10:15Speaker 1: crypto crew, settle down a little bit. So one of
- 10:18Speaker 1: the things that was concerning was the actual developer of
- 10:21Speaker 1: this was where he says, hey, my bags are literally
- 10:24Speaker 1: in my bio if you look at his bio, well, yeah,
- 10:26Speaker 1: his bags are in he's an advisor with Solana. So
- 10:29Speaker 1: this is a concern again because it gets into kind
- 10:31Speaker 1: of that corporate issue and enterprise slop that kind of
- 10:35Speaker 1: see seems to be moving around. And I think the
- 10:38Speaker 1: point behind all of this so when you look at
- 10:40Speaker 1: what the potential has been for ACTS in terms of innovation,
- 10:44Speaker 1: they basically lined up these things here and that is
- 10:47Speaker 1: new user spend forty three percent more time in the app,
- 10:50Speaker 1: so that's more money. Existing users spend twenty percent all
- 10:54Speaker 1: time high downloads are up sixty percent, so they're selling
- 10:57Speaker 1: more because you're paying to get the app itself. Well,
- 11:00Speaker 1: subscriptions cost one cross one billion. Again, these are great
- 11:04Speaker 1: money making, but it doesn't necessarily solve the real problem,
- 11:08Speaker 1: which is being able to get a true platform out
- 11:10Speaker 1: there for freedom of speech but also freedom of engagement
- 11:14Speaker 1: and being able to own and hold your own and
- 11:16Speaker 1: I don't know whatever get there for social media. I
- 11:18Speaker 1: think that's going to be the next era of legislation
- 11:22Speaker 1: battle that we will see. So it is a big
- 11:24Speaker 1: issue right now as we start to move to the
- 11:26Speaker 1: next level. And this clip is about an enterprise company
- 11:30Speaker 1: that happened to be Israeli that wants to actually take
- 11:33Speaker 1: away free speech. Take a look, and I.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Know it's difficult to heal, but it's time to limit
- 11:39Speaker 2: the First Amendment in order to protect it. What do
- 11:43Speaker 2: you mean, I mean that we need to control the
- 11:47Speaker 2: platforms and take control over what they're saying based on
- 11:53Speaker 2: that ranking government the government, Now I should do that,
- 11:58Speaker 2: and I assume you have some of those ways. So
- 12:00Speaker 2: and that drives the next generation of companies such as
- 12:04Speaker 2: wiz crowds like Keto networks on the network that our platforms.
- 12:10Speaker 1: China, which obviously already is using AI to control the population,
- 12:14Speaker 1: and so we're not as interested in regulation right now,
- 12:17Speaker 1: certainly not at the state level, for example.
- 12:19Speaker 2: And that's a big mistake because if China has a
- 12:22Speaker 2: single narrative that protects its inner stability and the US
- 12:26Speaker 2: has multiple allows for multiple narratives, it puts them in
- 12:31Speaker 2: an unfair advantage that long term is going to cause
- 12:34Speaker 2: the stability of the nation.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Man, I am so glad nobody's listening to that guy,
- 12:39Speaker 1: because he's basically saying, no, we don't want to hear
- 12:41Speaker 1: from any of you guys. Just shut up and listen.
- 12:44Speaker 1: Is pretty much the case. And it's more from a
- 12:47Speaker 1: side of the enterprise kind of going in this direction.
- 12:50Speaker 1: And remember this has all been about being open, and
- 12:54Speaker 1: one of the things that Elon was supposed to do
- 12:58Speaker 1: was get us a very open look into our government.
- 13:01Speaker 1: You guys, remember Doje We failed at that. He's the
- 13:04Speaker 1: guy that could pull this off unless he's actually in
- 13:08Speaker 1: there trying to figure out how to angle in and
- 13:11Speaker 1: benefit what's going on at Tesla and SpaceX and all
- 13:14Speaker 1: those places. So it is a problem for sure. All right,
- 13:17Speaker 1: if you kind of consider openness and freedom, you have
- 13:19Speaker 1: to kind of look at what's going on in Iran.
- 13:21Speaker 1: And of course this was all about the fact that
- 13:23Speaker 1: they had their internet cutoff. And if you look at
- 13:26Speaker 1: this of what's going on now, granted, Starlink was the
- 13:28Speaker 1: one area that was going to be the advantage for
- 13:32Speaker 1: the Iranian people, But the real question is is what
- 13:35Speaker 1: is available out there in terms of an open social
- 13:38Speaker 1: media platform. There really isn't any available right now. When
- 13:41Speaker 1: you think about it. Elon owns X, You've got the
- 13:44Speaker 1: Ellisons owning other outlets out there, including TikTok. We know
- 13:48Speaker 1: what Meta is doing, we know what Google is doing.
- 13:50Speaker 1: We understand that. I think the real question here is
- 13:53Speaker 1: when at one point will we ever get an open
- 13:57Speaker 1: social media platform? Now, Elon made this statement, We'll make
- 14:01Speaker 1: a new x algorithm, including all the code used to
- 14:03Speaker 1: determine what organic advertising posts are recommended to users. We're
- 14:06Speaker 1: going to make that open source in seven days or
- 14:08Speaker 1: so on. We'll repeat every four weeks. Comprehensive developer notes.
- 14:13Speaker 1: This will be interesting. I want to see this happen.
- 14:15Speaker 1: That might be a step in the right direction. But again,
- 14:18Speaker 1: this is such a mess right now in terms of
- 14:21Speaker 1: how we are starting to see the clamps coming down,
- 14:24Speaker 1: not only for crypto, but I think crypto is exposing
- 14:27Speaker 1: a lot of this stuff. Right here. Here was Vitallic
- 14:29Speaker 1: hitting on this. If done properly, it's a good move.
- 14:32Speaker 1: I think he's responding to that. I hope it would
- 14:34Speaker 1: be verifiable and replicable, meaning let's just do it all.
- 14:37Speaker 1: This would not solve problems, but it would definitely very
- 14:40Speaker 1: effectively address concerns about algorithmic transparency. But it's all about executing,
- 14:45Speaker 1: and I think he is right dead on. Batallic also
- 14:48Speaker 1: goes in here and he talks about these kind of
- 14:50Speaker 1: things that this was the term I think should be used,
- 14:53Speaker 1: and that is corporal slop includes things like this. So
- 14:56Speaker 1: if you're seeing this, guys out there, you already know
- 14:58Speaker 1: you're part of the corporal situation, which is social media
- 15:01Speaker 1: that maximizes dopamine outrage. You know you've seen that all right,
- 15:05Speaker 1: needless mass data collection. You know seen that wall gardens.
- 15:08Speaker 1: We know we're there. Hollywood released in seven sequels, some
- 15:11Speaker 1: tired franchise, yes, and then every corporation that rallied around
- 15:14Speaker 1: slogans of diversity inequity. We all know all this stuff
- 15:17Speaker 1: was corporo slop. So if we get clarity through with
- 15:20Speaker 1: a clean bill, the real question is what wins. I
- 15:23Speaker 1: think when you consider sovereignty, meaning the flexibility, Ethereum is
- 15:28Speaker 1: the one that is suited to win. I would agree
- 15:30Speaker 1: with vitallic on that there will be others that will win,
- 15:33Speaker 1: but I do agree that Ethereum is one of the
- 15:35Speaker 1: best out there in terms of an open, true sovereign
- 15:38Speaker 1: blockchain going forward. If all of that does not happen, though,
- 15:42Speaker 1: this is what is at risk in three days, and
- 15:44Speaker 1: that is the wealth gap widening considerably because remember all banks,
- 15:49Speaker 1: credit cards, they've paved the way for the greatest redistribution
- 15:52Speaker 1: of wealth. You look at this in comparison to subsidize
- 15:55Speaker 1: what you're doing. In terms of just the credit card interest,
- 15:59Speaker 1: this would be enough to do a redistribution of enough
- 16:02Speaker 1: to do universal basic income for about one point three
- 16:05Speaker 1: million people. That's the kind of gap that is being
- 16:08Speaker 1: created right now. And really Crypto was supposed to solve this.
- 16:12Speaker 1: It was supposed to give the everyday person the ability
- 16:15Speaker 1: to bring themselves up and move to the next level.
- 16:18Speaker 1: But again, this is enterprise banking system, et cetera putting
- 16:23Speaker 1: so many barriers in front of us that we can't
- 16:25Speaker 1: get that done three days. Guys, that's what you have.
- 16:28Speaker 1: I want you to go over and stand with Crypto,
- 16:30Speaker 1: and this is the way you're going to put They're
- 16:32Speaker 1: doing it as protector rewards, because that's kind of the
- 16:34Speaker 1: sticking point right now. Put your name in there, and
- 16:36Speaker 1: then what you want to do is put in the statement.
- 16:41Speaker 1: And what I've got is a link to just a
- 16:43Speaker 1: perplexity run on the three things we think are most
- 16:47Speaker 1: important right here, full self, custom, interoperability, and freedom. This
- 16:51Speaker 1: is the thing kind of if you don't know what
