It means 'The butterfly has colorful wings.' Now let's try 'La farfalla vola in modo elegante' — 'The butterfly flies gracefully.' Repeat after me: La farfalla vola in modo elegante. Luna: La farfalla vola in modo elegante. That's beautiful. I can picture it floating. Lucas: Right. Next: 'La farfalla è bellissima' — 'The butterfly is very beautiful.' Say it: La farfalla è bellissima. Luna: La farfalla è bellissima. Lucas: And finally, a new one: 'Le ali sono variopinte' — 'The wings are multicolored.' Le ali sono variopinte. Luna: Le ali sono variopinte. Oh, I like that word — variopinte. It sounds so colorful. Lucas: It does. Let's imagine we're at the park. I point and say, 'Guarda! Una farfalla! La farfalla ha le ali colorate.' Can you respond? Luna: Uh, sì! La farfalla vola in modo elegante. È bellissima. Lucas: Excellent! And those wings — 'Le ali sono variopinte.' Luna: Le ali sono variopinte. That's a mouthful, but I'll get it. Lucas: You already did great. Let's say them all once more. Repeat after me: La farfalla ha le ali colorate. Luna: La farfalla ha le ali colorate. Lucas: La farfalla vola in modo elegante. Luna: La farfalla vola in modo elegante. Lucas: La farfalla è bellissima. Luna: La farfalla è bellissima.
