• 3:00
Speaker 5: Good morning. How are things back in the Friendly Confines
• 3:03
Speaker 5: at eleven eleven Virginia Street E.
• 3:05
Speaker 3: Things are good. I've got to Rich the realtor in
• 3:08
Speaker 3: studio with me this morning. He was going to be
• 3:10
Speaker 3: standing by next Have you seen any leads on homes
• 3:13
Speaker 3: that we could possibly play a Rich the realtor sign
• 3:15
Speaker 3: in front of while you're out out on the trail.
• 3:19
Speaker 5: Well, I mean, if he's willing to work in the
• 3:21
Speaker 5: north central part of the state, I've certainly seen some
• 3:24
Speaker 5: good things. In fact, I just walked past a house
• 3:27
Speaker 5: with a lovely yard and a fence and a wonderful
• 3:31
Speaker 5: German shepherd completely flummeted by what I was doing. The
• 3:35
Speaker 5: dog could not seem to figure out that there's there's
• 3:38
Speaker 5: a human walking by. What's going on here?
• 3:40
Speaker 3: So Rich, there you go.
• 3:43
Speaker 1: Yeah, I appreciate that I should have bought ahead and
• 3:45
Speaker 1: give Robbed some of my cards. He could just pass
• 3:47
Speaker 1: them out along the way on along end like a
• 3:49
Speaker 1: sandwich board, like a like a walking sandwichboards.
• 3:51
Speaker 3: Yeah, just stop along the way.
• 3:54
Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'll be passing out along the
• 3:56
Speaker 5: way before this is.
• 3:57
Speaker 3: Where are you? Where are you this morning?
• 3:59
  Speaker 6: Rob?
• 4:01
Speaker 5: So I headed out of a crossed Clarksburg yesterday. So
• 4:05
Speaker 5: now I'm on nineteen, I've passed fifty. I'm on my
• 4:10
Speaker 5: way toward if you know, Shinston, I'm on that way.
• 4:14
Speaker 5: Enterprise is the target. But I got to tell you,
• 4:17
Speaker 5: with a short day yesterday, and I'm feeling pretty good,
• 4:19
Speaker 5: and mother nature has been so good to me. Mountain
• 4:21
Speaker 5: Mama has really been showing off. I might actually get
• 4:25
Speaker 5: farther than I planned for today. And the reason that's
• 4:29
Speaker 5: good news is we are well on track. Somebody knock
• 4:33
Speaker 5: on some wood to show up at WV. You meta
• 4:36
Speaker 5: some childrens with this giant check on Thursday, early afternoon
• 4:40
  Speaker 5: at this point.
• 4:40
Speaker 3: But you've got this thing knocked in the head right now.
• 4:43
  Speaker 3: I mean you're pretty close, right, I'm.
• 4:46
Speaker 5: Close enough to be a feared about it. I'm a
• 4:48
Speaker 5: little scared because just about everything is going right.
• 4:51
  Speaker 6: I know.
• 4:52
Speaker 5: When we talked yesterday, I talked about it being a
• 4:54
Speaker 5: day that we built in for Murphy and Murphy struck,
• 4:59
Speaker 5: but not the way I expected. I ended up having
• 5:01
Speaker 5: to deal with some uh some personal non work type stuff.
• 5:05
Speaker 5: Nothing bad, nobody's certain, you know, but it was just
• 5:08
Speaker 5: one of those that I had to take care of
• 5:10
Speaker 5: some paperwork yesterday or it was gonna be a real problem.
• 5:15
Speaker 5: So you know, when when you when you, when you
• 5:18
Speaker 5: give Murphy his respect, Murphy gives it back to you.
• 5:22
Speaker 3: And this is Murphy's law. We're not talking about Matt Murphy.
• 5:24
Speaker 3: We want to make sure people realize that not not
• 5:26
Speaker 3: not not reverencing mac guitar Murphy our employee here. And
• 5:30
Speaker 3: it's going to be another beautiful day. It is going
• 5:32
Speaker 3: to be a little bit warmer, which got me a
• 5:34
Speaker 3: little concerned about you because they did say that today
• 5:36
Speaker 3: or tomorrow, uh, we could possibly set records for high temperature.
• 5:41
Speaker 3: So so just be careful not to do and stay hydrated,
• 5:44
  Speaker 3: my friend.
• 5:45
Speaker 5: Thanks to the beverage market in Zenwater, I've been able
• 5:48
Speaker 5: to do exactly that, and I'm smart enough to dress
• 5:52
Speaker 5: in layers. That's been very important with us having basically
• 5:56
Speaker 5: winter in the morning, uh, spring by midday, summer in
• 5:59
Speaker 5: the a afternoon, and then fall in the evening all
• 6:01
Speaker 5: four seasons Parsley, Rosemary, Stage and time.
• 6:04
Speaker 3: All together altogether and on just be careful with the
• 6:07
Speaker 3: if you get really really warm, I don't we don't
• 6:09
Speaker 3: get We don't want to get an indecent exposure charge
• 6:12
  Speaker 3: on you.
• 6:13
Speaker 5: Okay, Yes, when I talk about going naked, that means
• 6:16
Speaker 5: no media, That means no earbuds and no devices or
• 6:20
Speaker 5: anything like that. It does not mean that I'm walking nicked.
• 6:24
Speaker 3: Nobody wants that. See, he's been in West Virginia long enough,
• 6:27
Speaker 3: Rich to say nicked and not naked. We appreciate that
• 6:30
  Speaker 3: you get n e kk. I d appreciate that. And
• 6:33
Speaker 3: big shout out to the folks of Panhandle Cleaning and
• 6:35
Speaker 3: Restoration because they're making this whole thing possible. Rob, be
• 6:38
Speaker 3: careful out there and we'll talk again this time tomorrow morning.
• 6:40
Speaker 3: Thanks my friend, Yes, sir, thank you. And a reminder,
• 6:44
Speaker 3: then again, if you're not following ninety six one kws
• 6:46
Speaker 3: on Facebook, make sure you do, because Rob has been
• 6:49
Speaker 3: posting all kinds of not of him nicked, I promise
• 6:52
Speaker 3: you that, but all kinds of pictures along the way.
• 6:54
  Speaker 3: And Rich, I mean, it's it's a beauty. If you
• 6:57
Speaker 3: got to walk twenty miles a day, would which is
• 7:00
Speaker 3: what he used to average it, it's a great time.
• 7:01
Speaker 3: Because his picture has been absolutely fabulous. Man sure has. Yes,
• 7:04
Speaker 3: that voice you hear is Rich, the realtor Meekes Realty Rich.
• 7:07
Speaker 3: Good morning, welcome to the show. Waking up a little
• 7:09
Speaker 3: happy this morning because of the Steelers win last night,
• 7:12
Speaker 3: I'm sure. Yeah, that's always a good day. You never
• 7:14
Speaker 3: know about that. Yeah, the wind was sealed by wvu's
• 7:18
Speaker 3: Beanie Bishop with the interception on that he's starting off
• 7:21
Speaker 3: really well. So all right, let's get to it. We
• 7:24
Speaker 3: have you in once aboch So to talk about things
• 7:27
Speaker 3: going on in the world of real estate overall. How
• 7:29
Speaker 3: is the market right now?
• 7:30
Speaker 1: Yeah, the market is still pretty strong. I mean, you know,
• 7:32
Speaker 1: there's lots of things out there that are you know,
• 7:35
Speaker 1: deterring buyers and you know, sellers are sitting on their homes.
• 7:39
Speaker 1: It's kind of the same way they have been since COVID.
• 7:41
Speaker 1: Really am I looked again this morning. We'll have like
• 7:43
Speaker 1: six hundred and forty three active listings within our whole
• 7:46
Speaker 1: Volleyboorg Reltors. It's eleven counties that we cover. Just for
• 7:50
Speaker 1: those who have not heard this before, we used to
• 7:52
Speaker 1: have carry somewhere around fifteen hundred active listings prior to COVID,
• 7:55
Speaker 1: and then the inventory levels just dropped radically.
• 7:58
Speaker 3: Why did the inventory levels drop because of COVID, You know.
• 8:00
Speaker 1: Because prices have gone up. People were afraid During COVID,
• 8:02
Speaker 1: people were afraid to move. They didn't want to get
• 8:04
Speaker 1: They want people in their house with the germ. They
• 8:06
Speaker 1: didn't want to go and look at houses with the
• 8:08
Speaker 1: germ all that kind of stuff. And then as the
• 8:10
Speaker 1: prices went up and people were trying to stay at
• 8:12
Speaker 1: you know, just it got to be a vicious cycle
• 8:15
Speaker 1: of seller sitting put.
• 8:18
  Speaker 7: So.
• 8:19
Speaker 1: But you know, and we were talking to Jeff on
• 8:20
Speaker 1: his way out that you know, for me, whether the
• 8:22
Speaker 1: rate is you know, seven percent or whether it's four
• 8:25
Speaker 1: percent or you know, hopefully gets down into the fours
• 8:27
Speaker 1: again at some point. You know, the right time to
• 8:30
Speaker 1: buy is really when you're ready to buy, you know,
• 8:32
Speaker 1: and homes still are you know, listen, homes that are
• 8:35
Speaker 1: in good shape and are ready to go. There are
• 8:36
Speaker 1: still buyers out there for those homes. So when you're ready,
• 8:40
Speaker 1: make it happen. Thirty year mortgage is not really the same,
• 8:45
Speaker 1: you know, kind of finances that you have today, you'll
• 8:47
Speaker 1: be able to refi that home. You may your plans
• 8:50
Speaker 1: may change, you may sell, gain some equity. All that
• 8:52
Speaker 1: stuff will happen over that long period of time. So
• 8:55
Speaker 1: when you're ready, let's do it.
• 8:56
Speaker 3: Talking to Rich the realtor makes realty to Dave Allen
• 8:58
Speaker 3: showing five Indy Line, brightsh You and party Husband's pizza
• 9:00
Speaker 3: were this month as your favorite Hustan's get a large
• 9:03
Speaker 3: eighteenage Pepperoni pizza and an eight inch chocolate chip cookie
• 9:05
Speaker 3: only twenty three ninety nine.
• 9:07
  Speaker 5: Rich.
• 9:07
Speaker 3: As we head into the winter months, time change and
• 9:09
Speaker 3: thinks coming up this weekend, is there a time that's
• 9:12
Speaker 3: a better time. I know you said it's whenever you
• 9:14
Speaker 3: want to, but you're looking at the seasons traditionally, you've
• 9:17
Speaker 3: been doing this for a while. Is there a better
• 9:20
Speaker 3: time to buy home? And when, statistically do more people
• 9:24
  Speaker 3: buy homes?
• 9:25
Speaker 1: Statistically it's in the spring. There's just more sellers who
• 9:28
Speaker 1: are forced into selling where they may not want to sell,
• 9:30
Speaker 1: but they're you know, a job change happens and they're
• 9:33
Speaker 1: trying to move, trying to find a place to get
• 9:35
Speaker 1: to for the new school year, those kind of things.
• 9:37
Speaker 1: So the more sellers will list, which create an opportunity
• 9:42
Speaker 1: for you know, the buyers where there's just more inventory available.
• 9:45
Speaker 1: So statistically it's the spring. You know, we used to
• 9:50
Speaker 1: be that you would hear that, you know, during the
• 9:51
Speaker 1: holiday season, in the winter months, you just don't sell
• 9:55
Speaker 1: a lot of houses or whatever. But that with exception
• 9:58
Speaker 1: of one of my years in real estate, November December
• 10:01
Speaker 1: have been some of my busiest months. So you know, again,
• 10:05
Speaker 1: I just kind of say the same thing. If you're
• 10:06
Speaker 1: ready to buy, then you know, let's get it done.
• 10:10
Speaker 1: But it's statistically more houses will be on the market
• 10:14
Speaker 1: probably late February early March is when those sellers start
• 10:17
Speaker 1: making those decisions about their summer.
• 10:20
Speaker 3: Now, you know, because you're sponsor the show and every
• 10:22
Speaker 3: week or every day, I you know, I have some
• 10:25
Speaker 3: live copies we called into business to go over and
• 10:27
Speaker 3: I've been talking about this one house located at seventy
• 10:31
Speaker 3: five points at a drive in Scott Depot, fifty six
• 10:33
Speaker 3: hundred square foot home, six bedrooms, two laundry rooms, full
• 10:38
Speaker 3: house generated. This is this is nice home. I've seen
• 10:40
Speaker 3: the pictures of it online. Man, this is a nice home.
• 10:42
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's beautiful, and it's really about size and space.
• 10:46
Speaker 1: So if you're looking, if you have the family and
• 10:48
Speaker 1: you want the you want the space in your home
• 10:51
Speaker 1: for you know, children or live in parents or whatever
• 10:54
  Speaker 1: you need.
• 10:55
Speaker 3: This home has it.
• 10:56
  Speaker 1: It's just it's got a probably well not probably, it's
• 10:59
Speaker 1: got twenty three hundred square foot basement that's not included
• 11:02
Speaker 1: in that fifty six hundred square feet in that basement
• 11:04
Speaker 1: is just completely open to the to the exterior. It's
• 11:08
Speaker 1: it's got a full gym in there with a sauna.
• 11:11
Speaker 1: It's it's just staggering amount of space that's there. And
• 11:14
Speaker 1: it's it's ideally located right off of the thirty five
• 11:17
Speaker 1: interchange and sixty four interchange in say Scott Depot in.
• 11:21
Speaker 3: Putnam County, which is the place to be right now.
• 11:23
Speaker 3: It is it seems like because we've seen such an
• 11:25
Speaker 3: influx of people here recently. I know we talked about
• 11:29
Speaker 3: with economic development, you know, with New Core. Even though
• 11:32
  Speaker 3: it's one county over, there's a lot of people, a
• 11:34
Speaker 3: lot of people coming to Putnam County right now.
• 11:36
Speaker 1: There sure are, so you know, this one gets them
• 11:38
Speaker 1: on thirty five straight up there you can be you know,
• 11:40
Speaker 1: you can be a New Core in less than a
• 11:41
Speaker 1: half an hour from that location on points at a drive.
• 11:45
Speaker 3: Aren't someone rich the today to use the term buyers representation.
• 11:49
Speaker 3: What exactly does that mean? Buyer's representation?
• 11:51
Speaker 1: Yah, So this has kind of been in the national
• 11:53
Speaker 1: news and I'm glad you brought it up. It just
• 11:55
Speaker 1: kind of you know, first of all, everyone should know
• 11:57
Speaker 1: that for the consumer, the National Association of Realtors opened
• 12:02
Speaker 1: up a website. It's just facts dot Realtor, and it
• 12:05
Speaker 1: is real Tour, not real a tour. There's no such
• 12:08
Speaker 1: a in there, but real Tour. But you can go
• 12:10
Speaker 1: all the consumers can go to that website. Now you
• 12:12
Speaker 1: don't have to be a member and find all sorts
• 12:14
Speaker 1: of consumer information about you know, how it impacts sellers,
• 12:17
Speaker 1: how it impacts buyers.
• 12:20
  Speaker 3: The National or.
• 12:23
Speaker 1: The class action lawsuit had us start August the seventeenth.
• 12:26
Speaker 1: We started with we're not allowed to go into houses.
• 12:28
  Speaker 5: Now.
• 12:29
Speaker 1: There's a couple of changes that were mandatory, and I
• 12:31
Speaker 1: think probably the first thing to say is that all
• 12:34
Speaker 1: commission and everything in real estate is always negotiable, and
• 12:39
Speaker 1: it has been negotiable, it always will be negotiable. So
• 12:43
Speaker 1: they wanted the buyers to have a representation agreement in
• 12:47
Speaker 1: writing kind of outlining our fiduciary responsibilities to them. And
• 12:52
Speaker 1: our fee structure, you know, and then sellers, if they
• 12:55
Speaker 1: will still agreeable to pay that commission to the buyer's side,
• 12:59
Speaker 1: then that's great. If not, then the buyer will have
• 13:01
Speaker 1: to pay that side of it. We always try negotiate
• 13:04
Speaker 1: that with all parties, whether that's buyer seller, but we
• 13:08
Speaker 1: have to have that buyer's representation signed prior to any
• 13:11
Speaker 1: you know, the term is when we're working with the buyer,
• 13:15
Speaker 1: and that certainly starts with before we show a house.
• 13:18
Speaker 1: So we're not allowed to enter a house even virtually,
• 13:20
Speaker 1: we can't go into a house and show the house
• 13:22
Speaker 1: without that buyer's representation in place. So I would just
• 13:26
Speaker 1: encourage people. I'm certainly willing to answer this questions directly.
• 13:29
Speaker 1: You can call or text me anytime, but also the
• 13:32
Speaker 1: website of facts dot Realtor will help explain those things
• 13:35
Speaker 1: to the detail. You can read about the lawsuit and
• 13:38
Speaker 1: understand your rights. Keep in mind everything is always negotiable
• 13:43
Speaker 1: in real estate, and that includes the commission.
• 13:45
Speaker 3: And before you let you go into one of the
• 13:47
Speaker 3: remind folks that you also do commercial properties as well,
• 13:49
Speaker 3: not just residential. For sure, Yeah, for sure.
• 13:51

Speaker 3: mister cole Off. Uh so, uh, how's the campaign been
• 18:09
  Speaker 3: so far?
• 18:09
Speaker 12: Well, I mean, for me, it's been it's been great.
• 18:12
Speaker 12: I've talked to tons of people and knocked on a
• 18:14
Speaker 12: bunch of doors, been to a bunch of meetings, and
• 18:17
Speaker 12: I have stayed Dave, I've stayed positive throughout this whole campaign.
• 18:21
Speaker 12: I've heard you talk I think you have a couple
• 18:24
Speaker 12: of folks running for kind of commission on next week,
• 18:26
Speaker 12: and I've heard on your show a couple of times
• 18:28
Speaker 12: you said that you know, in your perception, that's been
• 18:30
Speaker 12: a clean campaign, which is what I've run. And you
• 18:34
Speaker 12: can anyone out there can fact check me right now.
• 18:36
Speaker 12: My social media is all positive, my website is all positive. Uh,
• 18:42
Speaker 12: you know you're not going to see any negative attack
• 18:45
Speaker 12: ads from me. But one of the reasons I'm on
• 18:48
Speaker 12: here today, Dave, is because that is not the kind
• 18:51
Speaker 12: of campaign that my opponent is running. I've tried to
• 18:55
Speaker 12: stay away from that as best I can, And there
• 18:57
Speaker 12: are multiple reasons. One is I just don't think people
• 18:59
Speaker 12: like it, especially at the local level. National politics, we
• 19:02
Speaker 12: can't resolve those issues here locally. I think to make
• 19:05
Speaker 12: things positive, we've got to build from the ground up.
• 19:08
Speaker 12: We have to see compromise and realize that we're all
• 19:10
Speaker 12: friends and neighbors here. You know, this isn't Donald Trump
• 19:13
Speaker 12: from Florida and Kamala Harrison California and neverthe two shall meet.
• 19:16
Speaker 12: I mean, we all live and work in the same place.
• 19:18
Speaker 12: So one of the things I always try to do
• 19:20
Speaker 12: is I try to get along with everybody, whether you
• 19:22
Speaker 12: vote from me or not, whether we agree on issues
• 19:24
Speaker 12: or not. I use an example all the time. No
• 19:26
Speaker 12: one I love more in the world than my wife, Dave,
• 19:28
  Speaker 12: but she and I don't always agree. We've got a
• 19:30
Speaker 12: compromise on issues as well, and as voters and representatives.
• 19:34
Speaker 12: We have to do that as well. For four straight
• 19:37
Speaker 12: weeks now, Dave, four straight weeks, my opponent has run
• 19:41
Speaker 12: a hyper negative campaign against me. She doesn't talk about
• 19:45
Speaker 12: her own platform or ideas. I know the reason why.
• 19:48
Speaker 12: But the last time I was on your show, it
• 19:50
Speaker 12: was at your request to discuss the stay at White
• 19:52
Speaker 12: press release that she signed off on, which was a
• 19:56
Speaker 12: just a really strange in my opinion, you know, really
• 19:58
Speaker 12: negative strange press relie.
• 20:01
Speaker 3: So I came on.
• 20:01
Speaker 12: That was the very first time that I talked about her.
• 20:04
  Speaker 12: I haven't brought her up since I haven't done one
• 20:06
Speaker 12: negative attack out on her.
• 20:07
  Speaker 3: Zero.
• 20:08
Speaker 12: All my mailers are about me, my platform, and my family,
• 20:11
Speaker 12: my ideas. All my social media has stayed positive. I
• 20:15
Speaker 12: keep it pretty lighthearted when I can. I joke on
• 20:16
Speaker 12: there when I can, just to try to bring people
• 20:18
Speaker 12: together and unify them. My opponent sends out negative mailers
• 20:22
Speaker 12: about me every single week over the past month, and
• 20:25
Speaker 12: she's now running negative TV commercials about me. And this
• 20:28
Speaker 12: is one aside from knowing that voters don't like this, Dave. Again,
• 20:33
Speaker 12: we live here together, and you know, this woman and
• 20:35
Speaker 12: I don't hang out together, but we know each other.
• 20:38
Speaker 12: She has a kid who lives here, a teenager. I
• 20:42
Speaker 12: have kids, I got one in college, but I have
• 20:44
Speaker 12: two teenagers. You still live here. For the past two weeks,
• 20:47
Speaker 12: my kids have come home and told me that they
• 20:49
Speaker 12: have seen negative ads about me, where they do things
• 20:51
Speaker 12: like they photoshop you and make you look terrible in
• 20:54
  Speaker 12: a picture, Like they'll pick out like a where you're
• 20:56
Speaker 12: on a TV interview and they'll they'll make us your
• 20:58
Speaker 12: face looks bad where they freeze the frame and you
• 21:00
Speaker 12: look bad, and they'll make it granny and black and white,
• 21:03
Speaker 12: and then they'll put up negative comments about you on
• 21:05
Speaker 12: the ad, and my kids have seen those. Just last night,
• 21:08
Speaker 12: my kids friends, a couple of them texted my kids
• 21:11
Speaker 12: and said, hey, I saw a commercial about your dad
• 21:13
Speaker 12: on TV, saying that he was a terrible person, just
• 21:15
Speaker 12: kind of joking about it among themselves. But it's still
• 21:17
Speaker 12: not the kind of thing you want to see. And
• 21:20
Speaker 12: I've stayed away from that again, recognizing that this woman
• 21:22
Speaker 12: and her wife and their child live here in this community,
• 21:24
Speaker 12: and I don't want to be negative towards them and
• 21:26
Speaker 12: upset her family, who I also know. But that's not
• 21:29
Speaker 12: been her attack. So my focus is always to try
• 21:32
Speaker 12: to talk about jobs need economy, talk about education, talk
• 21:36
Speaker 12: about infrastructure, because I know, Dave, that those are the
• 21:38
Speaker 12: issues that matter most to voters. That is what they
• 21:41
Speaker 12: want us to focus on as representatives. They want us
• 21:43
Speaker 12: to seek positive change for them and their families on
• 21:47
Speaker 12: those issues. And far and away the number one issue
• 21:50
Speaker 12: for voters at jobs need economy. We already know that
• 21:52
Speaker 12: from common sense, but I've also polled it myself because
• 21:55
Speaker 12: I want to make sure that I accurately represent my district,
• 21:58
Speaker 12: and jobs need Economy leads. That leads all the issues.
• 22:01
Speaker 12: It's not even close close second. So that's what I
• 22:04
Speaker 12: have talked about. I just want to preface what I'm
• 22:07
Speaker 12: about to say next because I want your listeners to
• 22:10
Speaker 12: know that that is what I've done ever since day
• 22:12
Speaker 12: one when I started this campaign. It's what I focused
• 22:14
Speaker 12: on the legislature. But at some point you've got to
• 22:17
Speaker 12: respond to the negativity, and so my opponent has gone
• 22:21
Speaker 12: hyper negative on me. She's accused me of things that
• 22:24
  Speaker 12: are just.
• 22:25
Speaker 3: Flat out not true.
• 22:27
Speaker 12: And the reason why she has to attack me, Dave,
• 22:29
Speaker 12: is because she can't talk about her own ideas. It's
• 22:31
Speaker 12: my understanding. She'll be on here later this week. So
• 22:33
Speaker 12: I'm going to talk a little bit about her platform
• 22:36
Speaker 12: or the people who support her, and then if she
• 22:38
Speaker 12: wants to discuss that herself, she can.
• 22:40
  Speaker 5: So.
• 22:41
Speaker 12: One of the groups that endorse my opponent is a
• 22:44
Speaker 12: It is an openly socialist political organization. Again, I've never
• 22:47
Speaker 12: brought this up, and I wouldn't have. I would have
• 22:49
Speaker 12: never talked about my opponent if she hadn't been doing
• 22:51
Speaker 12: this for a straight month on me. But I've got
• 22:53
Speaker 12: to do a compare and contrast now because at some point,
• 22:56
Speaker 12: I think voters expect you to respond, and you got
• 22:58
Speaker 12: to fight back and defend yourself at some point. So
• 23:01
Speaker 12: I focus on jobs in an economy. She's been endorsed
• 23:04
Speaker 12: by an extremist socialist organization, and she put that endorsement
• 23:08
Speaker 12: up several months ago on her social media, but she
• 23:10
Speaker 12: never puts it on her direct mailers. I don't see
• 23:12
Speaker 12: her putting that on her TV commercials. She knows that
• 23:14
Speaker 12: the voters in this district do not support that, and
• 23:17
Speaker 12: you can't campaign on that, so she chooses to attack
• 23:21
Speaker 12: me instead in a personal way. These have been personal attacks.
• 23:25
  Speaker 13: You know.
• 23:26
Speaker 12: She has a radical agenda on just about every issue
• 23:30
Speaker 12: that you can think of if you look at her
• 23:33
Speaker 12: public filings for her political donations, Dave, this is all public.
• 23:37
Speaker 12: You can look at mine, you can look at hers.
• 23:40
Speaker 12: My donations, Dave, close to approaching ninety percent. It's well
• 23:46
Speaker 12: into the eighties. Close to ninety percent of my donations
• 23:49
Speaker 12: come either from in the district or definitely within the
• 23:51
Speaker 12: state of West Virginia. You've got some like I've got
• 23:53
Speaker 12: some friends I went to school with who donated to
• 23:55
Speaker 12: me from out of state. And there's some business organizations
• 23:57
Speaker 12: and some labor organizations too that donated to me out
• 23:59
Speaker 12: of state. But those are the exception to the rule.
• 24:02
Speaker 12: Close to ninety percent of my donations are in district
• 24:04
Speaker 12: or in state. The overwhelming majority of my opponent's donations,
• 24:09
Speaker 12: somewhere around sixty five plus percent, are not only not
• 24:13
Speaker 12: from our district where we live, Dave, they're not even
• 24:15
Speaker 12: from West Virginia. So one question I think my opponent
• 24:19
Speaker 12: should want to answer, since she's taken this money and
• 24:22
Speaker 12: she seeks it, is why have the majority of her
• 24:25
Speaker 12: donors donated to her not only not from where we live,
• 24:29
Speaker 12: but outside of West Virginia. And the answer is, I'll
• 24:32
Speaker 12: answer the question for her is because she is a
• 24:34
Speaker 12: radical activist, and the activists have to raise money from
• 24:37
Speaker 12: somewhere else than where we live because locals do not
• 24:42
Speaker 12: just the average everyday voter in our district does not
• 24:44
Speaker 12: support her position, especially on economic issues, because she's been
• 24:48
Speaker 12: endorsed by an openly socialist organizations, So she gets to
• 24:51
Speaker 12: get those activist dollars from somewhere else. So that's the
• 24:55
Speaker 12: first thing I will bring up, is that, you know,
• 24:57
Speaker 12: why is it that an activist client is so interested
• 25:01
Speaker 12: in seeing her get elected and trying to pick off
• 25:04
Speaker 12: just a local legislative seat in the state of West Virginia.
• 25:06
  Speaker 12: They can't win the governor's mansion, they can't win a
• 25:08
Speaker 12: US senator's race. So the activists are trying to win
• 25:11
Speaker 12: some of these local races, including mine, and she's their candidate.
• 25:16
Speaker 12: One of it's based upon her platform, and you know,
• 25:18
Speaker 12: part of her platform, for example, Dave, is she openly
• 25:22
Speaker 12: advocates for the concept of equity. Now, equity is different
• 25:25
Speaker 12: than equality. I am one thousand percent. It's not a
• 25:29
Speaker 12: real number, but I'm still one thousand percent in favor
• 25:31
Speaker 12: of equality. My job as a lawyer, I actually represent
• 25:35
Speaker 12: people who've had their equal rights violated. That's part of
• 25:38
Speaker 12: what I do. I live this. I don't just say it,
• 25:40
Speaker 12: I live it. So I'm a thousand percent for equality.
• 25:42
Speaker 12: That means everybody gets a fair shot. That's the way
• 25:45
Speaker 12: our country should work. That's the way our states should work,
• 25:48
Speaker 12: and our districts should work. Equity is different. She's for
• 25:51
Speaker 12: the concept of equity, which is toxic. Equity means you
• 25:54
Speaker 12: actually don't take a person as you find them and
• 25:57
Speaker 12: judge them individually based upon their merit. You actually pick
• 26:00
Speaker 12: people who have historically said they've been marginalized somehow. You
• 26:04
Speaker 12: pick another group of people, and you take the other group,
• 26:07
Speaker 12: you take something away from them, and you give it
• 26:09
Speaker 12: to the person who says that their group has somehow
• 26:11
Speaker 12: been marginalized. And of course we know people who have
• 26:13
Speaker 12: been marginalized in this country. That's true in the past.
• 26:15
Speaker 12: That's not in debate. But the answer to that past
• 26:19
Speaker 12: issue is not to take things from people today. And
• 26:22
Speaker 12: for example, say that if you are someone who wasn't
• 26:25
Speaker 12: marginalized one hundred years ago, you know, allegedly, or your
• 26:28
Speaker 12: family wasn't someone people you never even met, that we're
• 26:31
Speaker 12: there for going to take from you and give to
• 26:33
Speaker 12: someone else. To make up for that past sin. Basically,
• 26:36
Speaker 12: that's equity, it's toxic, and she's openly for that platform,
• 26:40
Speaker 12: which most voters that you overwhelm me, majority of voters
• 26:42
Speaker 12: in this district are not for that. Again, I wouldn't
• 26:44
Speaker 12: have brought this up if she had not been attacking
• 26:47
Speaker 12: me for four straight weeks now. So I'm completely against
• 26:50
Speaker 12: that part of her platform, just like the voters of
• 26:53
Speaker 12: this district are, which is why she has to seek
• 26:54
Speaker 12: out of state activist dollars. One of the issues she's
• 26:58
Speaker 12: also discussed, Dave, and keep saying this over and over again,
• 27:01
Speaker 12: is she is saying that I'm in favor of banning books,
• 27:05
Speaker 12: and that's all over her negative attack ads. So I've
• 27:08
Speaker 12: brought some excerpts today, Dave, that I'm going to show
• 27:11
Speaker 12: you from a couple of the books that were discussed
• 27:13
Speaker 12: during this paston legislative session. And I want folks to
• 27:16
Speaker 12: know one hundred percent that I never, not once ever
• 27:21
Speaker 12: said we should ban any book whatsoever. This discussion we
• 27:24
Speaker 12: had in the legislature on this issue was only about
• 27:27
Speaker 12: whether some of these materials should be in school libraries
• 27:31
Speaker 12: or the children's section of public libraries. I was always
• 27:34
Speaker 12: in favor of people wanted these things. If you want
• 27:36
Speaker 12: to buy them. I never opposed that not one book
• 27:39
Speaker 12: was going to be illegal. You can get them off
• 27:40
Speaker 12: Amazon or a bookstore. They could still be in the
• 27:42
Speaker 12: adult section of the public library. The only discussion was
• 27:45
Speaker 12: whether these things should be in the children's section or
• 27:47
Speaker 12: a school library. So I'm going to slide across the
• 27:49
Speaker 12: table to you, Dave, while we're sitting here, excerpts from
• 27:52
Speaker 12: a couple books, and these were in These were public
• 27:55
Speaker 12: hearings we had at the legislature, so these were publicly
• 27:58
Speaker 12: disclosed documents. We had evidence, cheery hearing with witnesses. These
• 28:01
Speaker 12: are the materials that my opponent is saying that I'm
• 28:03
Speaker 12: trying to ban from West Virginia, which I'm not never
• 28:07
Speaker 12: said you should ban them. I just said these aren't
• 28:09
Speaker 12: appropriate for children. So I'm going to hand you a
• 28:12
Speaker 12: couple of these, Okay, So I'm gonna let you look
• 28:16
  Speaker 12: at those.
• 28:16
Speaker 3: I wish we were on TV at this point, but
• 28:18
Speaker 3: we will be in a few months. We'll go ahead.
• 28:19
  Speaker 12: I don't think well, I'll tell you we couldn't show
• 28:21
Speaker 12: these on TV. No, you're right, okay, so listen, I'm
• 28:24
Speaker 12: not asking you to take sides here, all right, but
• 28:26
Speaker 12: you give your opinion on issues all the time.
• 28:27
  Speaker 3: I mean, what I'm seeing, h a delegate, is obviously
• 28:31
Speaker 3: very sexually explicit material. I mean it's cartoony. I mean
• 28:36
  Speaker 3: it's uh, it's it's graphic. It's it's graphic graphic, so
• 28:39
Speaker 3: to speak. Yeah, this is this is not this is
• 28:41
  Speaker 3: not good stuff.
• 28:42
Speaker 12: Okay, So you are a very moderate guy. You're not
• 28:44
Speaker 12: a Trump guy. You've said that openly. You seem to
• 28:48
Speaker 12: be pretty moderate, middle of the road guy from what
• 28:50
Speaker 12: I can tell. So what I just gave you, Dave,
• 28:54
Speaker 12: those are direct examples of what we had our discussion
• 28:58
Speaker 12: on during the legislative session. All Right, the Charleston Gazette
• 29:02
Speaker 12: tell me if I'm right roun wrong, Charleston Gazette can
• 29:04
Speaker 12: not publish that in the front page of the page. Now,
• 29:07
Speaker 12: our local TV stations three, eight, and thirteen, they couldn't
• 29:09
Speaker 12: broadcast those, could they.
• 29:10
  Speaker 2: No.
• 29:11
Speaker 12: And in fact, there have been some media sites nationally
• 29:14
Speaker 12: because these books have caused controversy in other places that
• 29:16
Speaker 12: have published these excerpts, but they always censored them. They
• 29:19
Speaker 12: blur out what's on those pages. This is what I'm
• 29:21
Speaker 12: looking at here, delegate is not censored, right right, Well,
• 29:23
Speaker 12: that's what I gave you. I gave you the actual
• 29:26
Speaker 12: excerpts from the books that we looked at and we
• 29:28
Speaker 12: had hearings on these, Dave. And again, I never said
• 29:31
Speaker 12: that any of these should be banned. I just said
• 29:33
Speaker 12: these don't belong in the children's section. One of those
• 29:35
Speaker 12: excerpts I gave you from one of the books. You
• 29:37
Speaker 12: don't have time to read all this, and let me
• 29:39
Speaker 12: tell you this, we can't even read the words on
• 29:42
Speaker 12: there over the air on some of that stuff. And
• 29:46
Speaker 12: one of those books gives instructions to children, because these
• 29:49
Speaker 12: are called young adult books, which the Library Association says
• 29:52
Speaker 12: young adult is down to age twelve, but once you
• 29:55
Speaker 12: get to age twelve, that goes in the children's section
• 29:57
Speaker 12: of a library, school or public. One of those books, Dave,
• 30:01
Speaker 12: it's right there in front of you, gives instructions to
• 30:04
Speaker 12: children on how to search the internet for hardcore pornography
• 30:08
Speaker 12: without your parents knowing about it, and how to keep
• 30:11
Speaker 12: it to yourself. It tells you to look up certain
• 30:14
Speaker 12: pornographic websites for advice on how to find things that
• 30:17
Speaker 12: you might enjoy online as a child. So again, Dave,
• 30:21
Speaker 12: I'm not a prude, buddy. If you're an adult and
• 30:24
Speaker 12: you're consenting and no one's getting hurt, you do whatever
• 30:26
Speaker 12: you want. I'm pretty libertarian on that when you're grown up,
• 30:30
Speaker 12: this belongs nowhere within the school library or a public
• 30:34
Speaker 12: library and the children's section. I never said to ban
• 30:36
Speaker 12: a single book. So when my opponent says that I'm
• 30:39
Speaker 12: wrong when I say that shouldn't mean the children's section
• 30:42
Speaker 12: of our school libraries or public libraries on Thursday, I
• 30:46
Speaker 12: want her to defend herself and say why she believes
• 30:50
Speaker 12: that belongs in front of other people's children. Now she
• 30:53
Speaker 12: wants to buy it and show it to her child,
• 30:55
  Speaker 12: that's her business.
• 30:55
  Speaker 3: Okay.
• 30:56
Speaker 12: Again, I'm not banning that and never wanted to. I
• 30:58
Speaker 12: didn't try to ban anything, and it was never banned anyway.
• 31:01
Speaker 12: I just said this shouldn't be in front of someone
• 31:03
Speaker 12: else's children without their knowledge and consent first, because what
• 31:06
Speaker 12: was happening was we had reports from people who brought
• 31:08
Speaker 12: this to us. Again, Dave, I wanted to focus on
• 31:10
Speaker 12: jobs and the economy, but when you have constituents who
• 31:12
Speaker 12: come to the legislature and say, Delegate, this is in
• 31:15
Speaker 12: my child's school library. Am I supposed to know you're
• 31:18
Speaker 12: saying this is actually in this This was verified to
• 31:22
Speaker 12: have been in public libraries and school libraries in state
• 31:25
Speaker 12: of Wasutria. I'm not saying all one hundred percent, but
• 31:27
Speaker 12: it wasn't some ok I'm not going to name the
• 31:28
Speaker 12: cities right now, right but we had someone from the
• 31:31
Speaker 12: State Library Association who testified under oath, Dave, this is
• 31:34
Speaker 12: not me making this stuff up. Someone testified under oath
• 31:38
Speaker 12: that this was age appropriate for public libraries in the
• 31:42
Speaker 12: children's section. Okay, I'm not saying these books you are
• 31:45
Speaker 12: in every library, but they are that we have found
• 31:47
Speaker 12: them in some. And when your constituents come to you,
• 31:50
Speaker 12: and they didn't come to me like, this wasn't my bill.
• 31:52
Speaker 12: This is someone else who proposed this, but I had
• 31:54
Speaker 12: to vote on it because I'm there. But when they
• 31:56
Speaker 12: come to you and say this is in our libraries
• 31:58
Speaker 12: and we can't get any help locally, will you help us?
• 32:01
Speaker 12: You can't blow these people off. As much as I
• 32:03
Speaker 12: want to focus on taxes and jobs and infrastructure and
• 32:06
Speaker 12: sewer and water and recruiting businesses, when your constituents come
• 32:09
Speaker 12: to you can't say sorry, I don't have time for
• 32:12
Speaker 12: you on this. If your child sees this, that's not
• 32:14
  Speaker 12: my problem.
• 32:15
Speaker 3: You have to respond.
• 32:16
Speaker 12: So I want my opponent on Thursday when she comes
• 32:18
Speaker 12: in to explain why she thinks that that graphic sexual
• 32:21
Speaker 12: material which the Charleston Gazette couldn't publish and three eight
• 32:24
Speaker 12: and thirteen here locally couldn't put on their TV stations.
• 32:27
Speaker 3: If you can't put it in the news.
• 32:29
Speaker 12: Day or on TV or on the fromt page of paper,
• 32:31
Speaker 12: why is she advocating the children should see these things? Okay,
• 32:34
Speaker 12: so that's number one.
• 32:35
Speaker 3: Okay, we just try to wrap it up here, Delegate.
• 32:37
Speaker 12: Yeah, so it's just she damn just telling you, buddy.
• 32:41
Speaker 12: And then we have a school choice issue she talks
• 32:43
Speaker 12: about all the time. I am for public schools and
• 32:47
Speaker 12: I'm for school choice. Both I advocated for increasing Funny
• 32:50
Speaker 12: for both of those things. All three of my kids
• 32:51
Speaker 12: are publicly schooled. She exercises school choice. So on Thursday
• 32:55
Speaker 12: she can explain why she chooses to send her own child,
• 32:58
Speaker 12: which is I have no problem with this, it's hertual
• 33:00
Speaker 12: out of district to a different school. She exercises school choice.
• 33:04
Speaker 12: He criticizes me for advocating for school choice. Which most
• 33:06
Speaker 12: people in this state are for because education is not
• 33:09
Speaker 12: one size fits all. All three of my kids go
• 33:11
Speaker 12: in district to their public school, but I think other
• 33:13
Speaker 12: people should have options. That's all I say. So, Dave,
• 33:15
Speaker 12: let me just finish. Okay, we need to come together.
• 33:18
Speaker 12: This negativity is terrible. It helps no one. These cultural
• 33:22
Speaker 12: wedge issues that she is the one bringing up don't
• 33:24
Speaker 12: solve people's real world problems on a daily basis.
• 33:27
Speaker 3: I want to go back.
• 33:28
Speaker 12: To the capital help people with positive economic issues, focus
• 33:32
Speaker 12: on jobs and economy. That's my goal. I represent the
• 33:35
Speaker 12: interests of this district. My opponent does not. She's funded
• 33:38
Speaker 12: by out of state activists. I'm funded by the people
• 33:41
Speaker 12: who live and work here, and I'm going to do
• 33:43
Speaker 12: the best job every single day to fight for your interests.
• 33:45
Speaker 3: And that's who I am. I appreciate you, Jbacres, appreciate
• 33:49
Speaker 3: you being there back after this and the Voice of
• 33:50

Speaker 14: been incomplied since I was elected twelve years ago. You

Speaker 7: putting money back in your pockets through tax cuts, fixing childcare,

Speaker 7: protecting our kids from abuse and neglect, and just making
• 34:44
Speaker 7: sure that everyone's getting along by working hard for you
• 34:46
Speaker 7: instead of culture wars that make your life worse, not

  Speaker 7: work to do.

• 36:25
Speaker 3: let me Welcome to the show now, Senator Joe Manchin,
• 36:28
Speaker 3: Senator Mansion, good morning, Welcome to the show.
• 36:31
Speaker 6: Hey body, how you doing, Dave?
• 36:32
Speaker 3: I'm doing fine. I want to talk about this event
• 36:34
Speaker 3: that you're taking part in, the Night Dannuel Ride for
• 36:36
Speaker 3: Fallen Service Heroes to benefit gold Star families here in
• 36:39
Speaker 3: the Mountain State. Pretty big event and pretty important, sir.
• 36:43
Speaker 6: It's our ninth one, Dave. We do it, try to
• 36:45
Speaker 6: do it every year. We missed on COVID, but other
• 36:47
Speaker 6: than that, we do it. All the proceeds go to
• 36:50
Speaker 6: helping these gold Star families who have lost a loved
• 36:53
Speaker 6: one while serving our country. It's the least that we
• 36:56
Speaker 6: can do, and it's the showing our appreciation. But so
• 36:59
Speaker 6: many people that's sacrifice, losing a loved one serving their country,
• 37:03
Speaker 6: and then sometimes they have some challenges that they need
• 37:06
Speaker 6: help with. And we've been doing this and we enjoy
• 37:09
Speaker 6: doing it. And we have riders from all over the
• 37:11
Speaker 6: state that come in and it's just going to be
• 37:13
Speaker 6: a great thing. We do it Thursday morning. We'll be
• 37:17
Speaker 6: gathering at the gold Star Monument the Capitol anywhere around
• 37:21
Speaker 6: ten nine thirty ten ten thirty. We'll start to ride
• 37:24
Speaker 6: at eleven o'clock. We'll ride then to the Veterans of
• 37:28
Speaker 6: Oil Arch in Huntington and we'll end with a little
• 37:31
Speaker 6: picnic there in a little ceremony. But it's a wonderful
• 37:34
Speaker 6: way to really show our appreciation and gratitude for all
• 37:37
Speaker 6: those who have sacrificed for all of us.
• 37:40
Speaker 3: And I know you love to ride, Senator, but this
• 37:42
Speaker 3: is a great time because mother nature has really been
• 37:45
Speaker 3: showing off this autumn.
• 37:46
Speaker 6: Oh boy, oh boy, Dave, she's really treated us right.
• 37:50
Speaker 6: We've written all kinds of weather. But we're going to
• 37:53
Speaker 6: have a great day Thursday morning. I think Thursday evening
• 37:56
Speaker 6: you might have a little rain moving, but we'll be
• 37:57
Speaker 6: done by then. But it'll be a wonderful time to
• 37:59
Speaker 6: get together with all of our friends and Motorscocal writers
• 38:02
Speaker 6: are the best of the best. They come from all
• 38:04
Speaker 6: over but basically most of them and a lot of
• 38:07
Speaker 6: them are veterans themselves, and they know the sacrifices have
• 38:10
Speaker 6: been made. They've made them and they continue to give back.
• 38:14
Speaker 6: But it's just a wonderful time. And our sponsors have
• 38:17
Speaker 6: been great. Every year helps so many people, you'd be surprising.
• 38:21
Speaker 6: It's just a great way to say thank you and
• 38:23
Speaker 6: our appreciation and also note for the sacrifices that they've made.
• 38:29
Speaker 3: Sound like you're a little under the weather, there, you ok? Senator?
• 38:32
Speaker 6: Well, yeah, I'm good. You know I got I got
• 38:35
Speaker 6: kind of stopped up. I feel great. I just got
• 38:37
Speaker 6: this congestion, David, and.
• 38:39
Speaker 3: Just the time of year away.
• 38:42
Speaker 6: Working on it, won't it won't slow me up.
• 38:44
Speaker 3: I'll be riding, I have no doubt. Dave, Dave Allan
• 38:47
Speaker 3: and five Any line brought to you part by Morgan
• 38:49
Speaker 3: to Morgan. If you're injured hired Morgan to Morgan, America's
• 38:51
Speaker 3: largest injury law firm. So people want to get involved
• 38:54
Speaker 3: with the ride, Senator, I'll post some information on my
• 38:57
Speaker 3: social media immediately after the show. But what do they
• 38:59
  Speaker 3: need to do?
• 39:00
Speaker 6: They just show up, just show up, show up, this
• 39:02
Speaker 6: is up, just shure up. There's no charge, no cost
• 39:06
Speaker 6: at all. We always passed the hat to help because
• 39:08
Speaker 6: people feel like they want to get more than just
• 39:10
Speaker 6: being there, and that's fine too, but we just want
• 39:13
Speaker 6: them to participate. We're riding basically for all the sacrifice
• 39:17
Speaker 6: has been made for all of us, and this is
• 39:19
Speaker 6: a way to give back to So it's just going
• 39:22
Speaker 6: to be a great time. Every year we get a
• 39:24
Speaker 6: couple hundred motorcycles show up. We'd like to see that
• 39:26
Speaker 6: many again this year. Coming up Thursday, ask a great
• 39:29
Speaker 6: time to get out and enjoy this beautiful weather. Like
• 39:32
Speaker 6: you said, the Good Lord has bussed us, so let's
• 39:34
  Speaker 6: enjoy it.
• 39:35
  Speaker 3: I know you're on a very tight schedule. I just
• 39:37
Speaker 3: want to ask you one other question away from this.
• 39:39
Speaker 3: We are one week away from the election. Of course,
• 39:42
Speaker 3: early voting is already underway in West Virginia. The clerks
• 39:45
Speaker 3: tell us that that we've seen record numbers already. Your thoughts,
• 39:50
Speaker 3: because a lot of people are concerned that whomever loses
• 39:54
Speaker 3: the election, that it may not go pretty afterwards. Your
• 39:56
  Speaker 3: thoughts on that.
• 39:57
Speaker 6: Before we let you go, sir, I would just say this,
• 40:00
Speaker 6: we have always as the United States of Americans, and
• 40:03
Speaker 6: as Americans, we've always protected and stood for our country.
• 40:08
Speaker 6: I believe there'll be a lot of disappointed people either way,
• 40:11
Speaker 6: whatever happens. But the bottom line is we are the
• 40:15
Speaker 6: United States of America. We can't allow this to be
• 40:17
Speaker 6: the divided states. We must come together. We always have.
• 40:21
Speaker 6: We've lived, this country has survived some of the most
• 40:25
Speaker 6: greatest challenges that any country could ever have, and we're
• 40:29
Speaker 6: still standing. It's still an experiment being governed by ourselves,
• 40:33
Speaker 6: electing who we want to represent us and making sure
• 40:36
Speaker 6: they answer to us and not the political parties or
• 40:39
Speaker 6: not the special interest groups. That's the most important thing.
• 40:42
Speaker 6: And the only way you can do that is to
• 40:44
Speaker 6: go vote day. Get involved. Don't stand back and curse
• 40:48
  Speaker 6: the darkness.
• 40:49
Speaker 3: Get involved, all right, Senator Manchin, we wish you the
• 40:53
Speaker 3: best of luck on the ride on Thursdays. So the
• 40:55
Speaker 3: way that looks good. If there's any rain, looks like
• 40:57
Speaker 3: it's going to be closer to trick or treat time,
• 40:59
Speaker 3: you'll be wrapped up by that. Good luck. It's a
• 41:01
Speaker 3: great cause. Glad to help you promote it, sir, Thanks a.

Speaker 3: of texts to get to on the Jbacres interviews. Let
• 43:52
Speaker 3: me try to read some of those before we go
• 43:54
Speaker 3: to break, and I'll continue after the break. Texas, JB's
• 43:57
Speaker 3: opponent is a radical from the activist class. With politics,
• 44:00
Speaker 3: she plays around the extreme edges that most people can't
• 44:03
Speaker 3: relate to. JB is simply a West Virginia family man,
• 44:07
Speaker 3: says a Texter on the books that jb Acres reference
• 44:11
Speaker 3: text says they would eventually talking about that. I'm presuming
• 44:14
Speaker 3: the kids in school they would eventually figure it out
• 44:16
Speaker 3: for themselves. Text says JB is the hell of a guy,
• 44:19
Speaker 3: nothing like what the mailer I got painted him as
• 44:22
Speaker 3: the son of Satan. I have not seen these mailers,
• 44:26
Speaker 3: of course, I don't live in Kanaw County in that district.
• 44:28
Speaker 3: I would hope that they didn't spend their money to
• 44:30
Speaker 3: send them to Taye Valley, where I live, But I
• 44:32
Speaker 3: have not seen the mailers. Have not seen any of
• 44:34
Speaker 3: the commercials that Delegate Acres was referring to Texas. Bravo

• 45:11
Speaker 3: and hope all voters are vigilant and report bad actors

• 45:20
Speaker 3: I'll throw an editorial comment. If what this text is
• 45:22
Speaker 3: saying is true, that's one hundred percent illegal, and I
• 45:25
Speaker 3: hope she gets busted. And I don't care what side

Speaker 3: this text is saying is a Republican you number one

Speaker 3: can't wear campaign materials inside a polling place. That's illegal.
• 45:36
Speaker 3: So whoever this person is has got a world of

• 50:55
Speaker 3: it was not. It was campaign's here. Red white, blue
• 51:00
Speaker 3: does not constitute campaign material, Okay, Texas. I voted last

Speaker 3: Friday voter registration. Witness a woman where a Harris Wall's

• 51:15
Speaker 3: it was against the law, but she said, I'll take

Speaker 3: that particular person was breaking the law. It's very simple.

Speaker 3: You cannot wear any sort of campaign material into a

• 51:49
Speaker 3: I can get to my thoughts on another time. I'm
• 51:51
Speaker 3: more interested in what you have to say. Text says
• 51:53
Speaker 3: if this person jumped the line at voters Registration office,
• 51:56
Speaker 3: wouldn't the office employees have detained her? Well, I mean
• 51:59
Speaker 3: they should have. I don't know about detained. They should
• 52:03
Speaker 3: have stopped her. But I mean again, I'm only basing this.
• 52:07
Speaker 3: I wasn't there. I was only based on what the
• 52:10
Speaker 3: texture to the show said, and it said it has
• 52:13
Speaker 3: been reported. That's what the texture said. I'm presuming that

Speaker 3: this person means it was texted or reported. I should

Speaker 3: say to the Secretary of State's Office, Texans, Dave going
