good evening here are the key points from today's train session on the ngx the ocean index fell by 0.53 the index measures the average performance of stocks on the exchange we had 535.5 million shares valued at 36.8 billion naira traded in a bit over 55 100 deals corn oil and prestige assurance were the best performing stocks today as the boats gained 9.79 percent

Conoy closing at 213 Naira a share while Prestige Assurance closed at 1.57 Naira. On the flip side of things, International Energy Insurance and Vitaform were the worst performing stocks today. Both stocks declined by 10%. International Energy Insurance closed at 5.76 Naira while Vitaform closed at 189 Naira a share. Esteline Financial was the most actively traded stock by volume with 100.9 million shares traded.

UAC was next with 49.3 million shares traded. On the value side of things, UAC took pole position with 9.11 billion Naira worth of shares traded while MTN Nigeria was next with 4.78 billion Naira worth of shares traded.
