- 0:38a doer? Yeah, I'm gonna go on the way you made Vegan.
- 0:42Welcome, Welcome, Welcome. You're listening to the Sport Shock Show. I
- 0:48am the Sport Shock Wayne Candy. Good morning to you. We're rolling into
- 0:52Super wild Card weekend. But we have had a super week of using story
- 1:00lines. I mean, each and every day that you have waken up since
- 1:06the end of the NFL season, something new has sprung up to report,
- 1:14and nothing bigger than the heavyweight coaches across the universe of college and pro football
- 1:26that have decided to retire, step down, whatever were you want to use,
- 1:34but the end of eras, at least for the moment and at least
- 1:41at the destination they are at now, are deciding to walk away for various
- 1:49reasons. I'm quite sure, not even sure, because the three biggest names
- 1:53in the last four to eight hours of Bill Belichick, Pete Carroll, and
- 1:59Nick Saban all are the same age. They probably good friends. They might
- 2:04have called each other and went in as a super pack, like man,
- 2:07that's just let's just go golfing and spend some of these billions of dollars we
- 2:13have made. We're tired of this new age athlete that needs a bib and
- 2:22two spoons and a whole bunch of reasons of why they can't succeed. Everything
- 2:30is about, as the bad producer loves to put it on the coaching,
- 2:32your failure. The athlete no longer has responsibility. Everything about his not being
- 2:40accountable is the team, the coach, the parents, Never just that the
- 2:47athlete itself is not trained properly, doesn't have the heart. But these guys,
- 2:55you know, and Nick Saban's case, you think, and we'll talk
- 3:00about it in great extent today. Maybe it is this whole nil. Maybe
- 3:04it is the transferred protocol. Reports are is that he was on some calls
- 3:07yesterday. Maybe he just maybe a parent said something stupid, a request that
- 3:14he was listening to from one of the scouts. I can see Nick when
- 3:17I heard that report, I could see him sitting there. He's filling these
- 3:21calls that he already don't want to take. And one of the scouts said
- 3:28something about a player wanting something, and he was like, you know what,
- 3:32I'm going home, because that's how the sensibilities of these young men,
- 3:39the parents, the attitude of the country. A lot of people want a
- 3:44lot of things that they haven't even earned. You want me to give you
- 3:46things at a college level that you haven't even came here and showed me you
- 3:52can do. You want it up front, So maybe that's quickly. Bill
- 3:55Belichick in New England, he was used to a different kind of athlete,
- 4:00even in the time that he was there. He would go find the different
- 4:04the chip on the shoulder, the guy that kind of really was based on
- 4:09professionalism. Him and his staff always did a good job of shifting through.
- 4:15They were okay not having the household name and going out and win with a
- 4:25lot of guys that you eventually learned their name, but you didn't know it
- 4:29at the beginning. Allah Tom Brady, you didn't know Tom Brady. Tom
- 4:33Brady. People at Michigan didn't know Tom Brady. But that's what Bill Belichick
- 4:39and for Pete Carroll, a guy who just wins out in Seattle, just
- 4:46stepping away, and the one common denominator they all have is their age,
- 4:50their mentality, and a lot of times, as we have seen through eras,
- 4:57and we've talked about a lot of times when the era shift a lot
- 5:00of people, you go back to certain personalities like a Bobby Knight. He
- 5:08was not really made for that shift where the parent got to come in and
- 5:14tell him how practice is going to go. Those kind of shifts and dynamics.
- 5:18But we don't know where are these guys. They all have had the
- 5:24greatest success that you could imagine, and we're going to talk about it on
- 5:30today's shows, comand You. Greg is in the building. The bad producer
- 5:33has brought his racist bag of tricks to the show all the way to,
- 5:40you know, wanting to make sure he can't wait till people mess up.
- 5:44Noah Kaniga name now for you that might not know the storyline. There's a
- 5:50young man out there. He's pretty good talent coming out of high school.
- 5:55His name is spelled in a way k and I g some people, most
- 6:03of them will All of the ones that have contacted me are black men who
- 6:09are sitting around with this need and want for some white broadcaster to mess up
- 6:20this man's name, which is spelled in a way that you could easily if
- 6:27you relax, say it wrong. But the young man on Robert Grifford Show,
- 6:33he made sure that people knew it's Kanika. But the bad producer is
- 6:42waiting for someone that didn't hear it the pronunciation so we can run with it.
- 6:46Because blacks spend a lot of their time waiting on moments where they can
- 6:55catch white people saying racist terms. It's like a highlight of their day.
- 7:03Is it makes them joyous to catch someone in that moment. I don't know
- 7:10why they sit there, you know, like this couldn't be. But the
- 7:15young man name is Noah Kanekat, and the bad producer, as you see
- 7:21him grinning on the screen, he can't wait for Bob Costas or some guy
- 7:28at ESPN three to mix it up so he can bring it to the show
- 7:33and it'sports shot shot. He catched the game the other night. He listen,
- 7:38listen, listen to that's what he wants to do, Like that's wud
- 7:42be breaking news that a man's name that's spelled in the way of the word
- 7:46could say it in a wrong improper way, BAPATICI to tell the people why
- 7:50that turns you on? Don't deny, hold on, hold on, hold
- 7:54on, because you don't do the bad producer thing where you act and deny
- 7:58as though it doesn't because I know that's where you're gonna start. You're gonna
- 8:01say something like, oh, no, sports, y'all get don't turn me
- 8:03on? Why because that's what you brought. You say, you've been holding
- 8:07it for a couple of days. Now, why does that possibility turn you
- 8:13on? I just thought it was funny because Robert Griffin made it funny.
- 8:18When I first heard the story, saw the kid's name, I just thought
- 8:22it was funny because because everybody was we just can't wait. I mean,
- 8:24it's just funny. I mean until we heard the correct way to pronounce the
- 8:31word and pronounce the last name. And like I said, good thing.
- 8:33Robert Griffin bought him on his show and they got an explanation for it,
- 8:39and it was pretty funny. Listened to his dad and parents talk about the
- 8:43different looks and different things they got. But he's a good athlete and I'm
- 8:46looking forward to just seeing the young man come out and doing this thing.
- 8:52Now, my other cast members are here, Big Kenny the funny man himself.
- 8:54Come on, it's in the building the funny. What happened over at
- 8:58the Laughing Skull? Did you find out his Yes? His rap name is
- 9:05mon? Yes? What is his government names? Greg Heard? I was
- 9:13expecting give it up first, Saucy ge, give it up, give it
- 9:18up first, Jane h. I didn't. I was out. I just
- 9:22man. I looked on the list and it was Greg Heard. Wait,
- 9:28we knew that, Like, he couldn't have said that on air because I
- 9:31was. I was involved, I was deeply involved. And it's just Greg
- 9:35Heard. Okay, you two gentlemen sat here and witnessed the bad producer get
- 9:39all excited about Noah Kuniga name right, Yes we did. Why do y'all
- 9:45think he was so excited for the possibility of someone saying the name wrong.
- 9:52Well, I would. I would blame some of it on what my mother
- 9:56says when she listens to the show that boys special. Outside of that,
- 10:03I really don't know. But you know that boy, especially lady, Yeah,
- 10:09Mama, he a little special. So I'm just guessing he said he
- 10:11thought it was funny. Now this is the thing that I think is funny.
- 10:16About him thinking that is funny. Any other thing that he deems racist
- 10:20is worth that person being canceled. So if someone had said it and got
- 10:26canceled, he would have thought they deserved that. That is so. But
- 10:31now because he thought it was funny, because he wanted to throw that out
- 10:37there for shock value, and we weren't shocked. Now it's funny, you
- 10:43know, I just want to see the man play. But if somebody had
- 10:48said that about an African American player, remember the baseball guy who went to
- 10:54the museum, he wanted that dude fired. He thought that dude should have
- 10:58been fired. And there's no way you can make a mistake like that in
- 11:03a situation like this. Why was he glowing this morning? Glowing glowing like
- 11:09he was six months pregnant. I kind of agree, Like I think he
- 11:15wants someone to just to make a mistake and for someone to pile on and
- 11:20to you know, just to get after someone who's who's messed up. And
- 11:30even though it has been put out there what the correct pronunciation is, like,
- 11:35well, it could still happen. I don't know. I think if
- 11:39the broadcasters are professional, uh, it just won't happen. So you're just
- 11:43gonna be waiting a long time. And you don't think that every single sports
- 11:48outlet has somebody from their Standards and Practices office send it out an email right
- 11:54now, like, look, we're gonna have some training on how to say
- 11:56this. Hey, No, no, you can't. You can't. It's
- 12:03going to be you. Yeah, you're gonna have to give that home.
- 12:07Can you have to do the lawn? No, you can't shorten that,
- 12:13could me. We'll be more than Sports Jock Show right as it is.

- 13:28foster care at fifteen years old. Her life was full of uncertainty. She
- 13:35thought she'd never have a permanent place to call home. Before I was adopted,
- 13:41I felt like I wasn't enough. I had this hole in my heart
- 13:43and I never knew what I needed to patch that hole. But when my
- 13:48mom asked to adopt me, that hole was closed. It feels so normal
- 13:52now to say that I'm a part of this family. I am surrounded by
- 13:56love, I feel safe, and that hole inside of me is gone.
- 14:01I am whole. I'm finally enough, just as I am. The Dave

- 15:11No, no, no, no, Now it's time to present the Jock
- 15:13of the Day on the Sports Jock Show. It's taken it to a completely
- 15:16different level this year where we highlight an accolade that has taken their game to
- 15:22the next level. Well back to this boy Shock show. I'm this boy
- 15:48Shock, Wayne Gandy, Good morning, tell you bad to be here with
- 15:52you. We are cruising along in the month of January twenty twenty four.
- 15:56Commands you, Greg bat producer, Big Kinny all in the building this morning.
- 16:02We have to first and foremost salute and Auburg guys. The Michigan Wolverines
- 16:10winning the championship in impressive fashion against the Huskies of Washington, really taking them
- 16:18as they say out to the two Shed, giving them that real physical run
- 16:22game defense, smothering Michael Pennant's all night long. Jim Harball and his band
- 16:30of married men, finishing the deal at one of the most intriguing seasons you
- 16:37can have. When you speak about twice, Jim Harball, the head coach,
- 16:42was suspended twice, not once, in the same season. He had
- 16:49six games. He started the season on a three year three game ban,
- 16:53came back for about a month, and then they put him on another three
- 16:56game band. But they were able to bring home the championship. If I
- 17:02remember correctly, Big Kenny, commands, you went with Michigan the bad Producer
- 17:06was with Washington. If you know the bad producer, you know why he
- 17:11was with Washington. Only one reason. His quarterback, the quarterback, the
- 17:15color of the quarterback quarterback is why he was riding with Washington. Other than
- 17:19that it had no connection to the Huskies of Washington. He actually thought they
- 17:25were out of the Maryland area he did for a long time instead of the
- 17:29state of Washington. But the Wolverines taking it home winning a championship. Now
- 17:34the big question will Jim Harball state. Jim Harball has all the reasons in
- 17:40the world to stay. When you look at he is hometown talent. That's
- 17:45where he went to college. Now when you talk about full circle, for
- 17:49most coaches, finding themselves back at the college being the man in charge is
- 17:56something they all dream of about. Does he stay, does he go to
- 18:02the pros? Does he have something else to prove in his trick bag?
- 18:07We will see a lot of coaching jobs in the NFL are available as of
- 18:12this morning. That would make eight teams available. As I went to sleep
- 18:21last night, as I was at the Hawks game last night, that was
- 18:23a big conversation about the seven vacancies. Now we have an eighth vacancy,
- 18:30and if you do the math, that makes a quarter of the NFL jobs
- 18:37are open thirty two teams, eight of them are looking for coaches as of
- 18:41this morning. With Bill Belichick steck him away, and you will see teams
- 18:45probably go look for someone like a Mike Vravel. Be very easy to put
- 18:48him back in New England. He has that kind of Bill Belichick style demeanor
- 18:55that goes with the Patriot nation. But where will your team go? That
- 18:59is the Patriots. You have the Falcons, you have the Panthers, you
- 19:03have the Raiders, you have Seattle, correct, you have who else am
- 19:11I missing? Right there? The charge and commanders. Commanders, Yes,
- 19:18all open for business for trying to find a new head coach. I would
- 19:23imagine at least half of those jobs will be filled with some hot assistant.
- 19:30That people that's the new trend, some hot assistant and in some of them
- 19:33just based on what you already have in store. Or even here with Atlanta,
- 19:38if you're going with a quarterback at number eight with that pick, or
- 19:42you feel like you're going to move up, might go more of another offensive
- 19:48coordinator, Dan Quinn, who used to be here now at Dallas. His
- 19:52name is back in up for a head coach and does he want to do
- 19:56that again. I think some of these coaches are starting to choose happiness and
- 20:02comfortable over this carousel of leaving and then you give me twenty four months to
- 20:08fix a problem of the last president. Right. Always, I've always felt
- 20:15that to be the hardest thing that ever is cast upon the US president that
- 20:21I only had. I got forty eight months, and really thirty six of
- 20:25them because the next twelve, the last twelve I got to go try to
- 20:27get back into the right house. But I got to try to fix your
- 20:30problems, you know, especially if they didn't align with my sensibilities. Two
- 20:36in thirty six months, it's hard to do that. So the same thing
- 20:38with coaching now, you're not given a lot of time as regardless of what
- 20:44you have. Well, do you think it's likely that we're seeing reports that
- 20:48with like with dan Quinn, Seattle may reach out to him won the Super
- 20:53Bowl there with them, Even just as as we started the show, Rod
- 21:00Mayo, who's defense coordinator or linebackers coach with the Patriots. He may be
- 21:06the head coach for the Patriots, so they may go with a familiar face
- 21:11with the teams possibly going to familiar faces. Do you think that would attract
- 21:18like for a coach like I don't know if I want to be the head
- 21:21coach even though I was a coordinator or an assistant before with the same team.
- 21:26Do I want to be the head guy with the same team just because
- 21:30you know, I know everybody already. Well, you would know the owner
- 21:33and how he thinks, what leeway you might have. You would definitely know
- 21:41whether he's going to let you have some power. Certain jobs, certain teams,
- 21:47they don't extend a lot of power. I think here a lot of
- 21:51times with Atlanta Falcons, some of it is they feel like the head coach
- 21:56doesn't get a lot of say so into choices your team. The Cowboys has
- 22:02always been famously known to where you just get the coach right Jerry Jones does,
- 22:08Yeah, I'm down here at the unemployment window looking for a receiver.
- 22:11Jerry goes and gets a linebacker. But he wants me to win. As
- 22:17Jimmy Johnson talked about, he won't let me buy the groceries, but you
- 22:19want me to cook. And so it's based on where you like a jim
- 22:25Harball, you're going to bring Jim Harball. I would imagine at this point
- 22:29in this life sixty had an NFL career himself, he's gonna want a little
- 22:33more say so, he might not want to be the GM, but he's
- 22:37gonna want to have a little more power on who he brings in, whether
- 22:44it's his coaching staff or on the player side. Then certain teams might be
- 22:48willing to do it. Now, when you talk about the Patriots, I
- 22:52think Bill and Robert Kraft the last three or four days. To me,
- 22:59I would imagine they strategized this to start filling in. What would happen after
- 23:07almost a twenty five year I doubt he just Oh, Bill, get out
- 23:10the building. It started to become let's make some phone calls. Who would
- 23:14stay with this staff? If we put Jared Mayo, a long time linebacker
- 23:18in the league. I think he went to the University of Tennessee. He
- 23:22played for the Patriots, played on the Bill Belichick. We know that the
- 23:26Belichick Tree in New England, they love to just keep circling. They go,
- 23:33they get fired somewhere else to come back. That's how That's how they've
- 23:37been up there for since Belichick has been there. So it wouldn't be surprising
- 23:41to see someone with the credentials because a lot of those guys have had head
- 23:48coaching, you know, Josh McDaniel, bring them back. They just recycle.
- 23:52They have a certain philosophy. So we will see how this shapes up.
- 23:56With so many I don't know that the NFL has ever had eight jobs
- 24:02available at one time. I don't know if any league's ever had eight jobs.
- 24:10We have to actually do some research on that. We're at one time
- 24:12eight vacancies were allowed in one job in pro sports. CBS Sports had ranked
- 24:19the jobs with the eight Which one is like the best one out of all
- 24:23of them? Right now? They got the Seattle job is the best one,
- 24:29and second it's like Washington job. But the last is like the pathers
- 24:33In your opinion, which one do you think is the most the one that
- 24:37looks really good, that fancy car that you want to hop in if you
- 24:44was a coach. I can see the Seattle job because it seems to come
- 24:52with less spotlight, like it's a solid job. The owner seems like he
- 24:57lets you do your job with all that stepping in. We rarely hear about
- 25:03the Seattle Seahawks owner. I don't even know who GM making a statement.
- 25:08I don't know who they are. All you ever heard was Pete Carroll being
- 25:14there the panther job. I think just based on they their record, what
- 25:22they don't have as a team, and the turmoil at the owner. They
- 25:26just got rid of the old owner, now the new owner throwing water on
- 25:30people. I don't have no first round pick like those kind of things.
- 25:38And you asked me to come in here, and I know I'm gonna get
- 25:41fired. You want me to marry the girl that just got out. We'll
- 25:47be back more to Sports show right after this You Don't Go Away, or
- 26:07of the Sports Jock Show with Wayne Dambidia's coming up next. And now let's
- 26:11talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three quarters of Americans believe that coverage
- 26:15represents a critical piece of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 26:21life insurance. When I was twenty five, me and my wife were just
- 26:23getting started with our family and thought we lived forever life insurance. What's the
- 26:26last thing on my mind? What about you? Will you be leaving benefits
- 26:30or bills? When I was forty, with a kid in college and bills
- 26:33piling up, I was worried how my family will survive without me. That's
- 26:36when I'm in an appointment with the insurance informant. Information gives you power and
- 26:40life. Insurance gives your family security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 26:44Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I leave my family
- 26:47with bills or benefits. The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or
- 26:49fifty, whether you earn a little or a lot, all you need is
- 26:53the insurance informant to help you build a foundation of security, because without you,
- 26:57your family will have two options, benefits or bills. Which legacy will
- 27:03you leave behind? Log on today benefits or bills? Dot com? That's
- 27:07benefits or bills dot com. Hi, we're the Goo Goo dolls. We're
- 27:11fortunate that our daughters have what they need to grow and learn, but that
- 27:15isn't the case for nearly thirteen million kids in the US that struggle with hunger.
- 27:19Childhood hunger is a heartbreaking reality that Feeding America is working to change.
- 27:23Each year, the Feeding American network of food banks rescues billions of pounds of
- 27:27good food that would have gone to waste and provides it to families and children
- 27:30in need. You can help kids in need in your community by visiting Feeding
- 27:34America dot org. Brought to you by Feeding America and the AD Council.
- 27:42And now back to the sports, John Wayne Gandy in the radzo. If
- 27:52you're living life, what's your here here? What's your legal life? Don't
- 27:56stop rock if you clear the vibe up into your lay back in your get
- 28:02funk to five so so so so so so from what you hit? What
- 28:15much? Just for Shock Show. I'm this for Shock Wing getting a good
- 28:18morning to you. If you missed any of the show. After we go
- 28:22off, Greg is going to upload us. You can hear us on Apple
- 28:26Podcasts, Spotify, Audible, Deezer, iHeartRadio, and Amazon podcast Big Kenny
- 28:37Command you Greg bad producer in the building. It has been black week.
- 28:41It ain't just been Black Monday. Each and every day some coach has been
- 28:47fired. We have, you know, a long carousel. And when you're
- 28:52talking about job, that producer you have to put on that list. Alabama.
- 28:57The Alabama job has to be part of that almost NFL job because it's
- 29:02the same kind of prestige, it comes with the same kind of visibility money
- 29:07yep. So to me, that's you know, any of those coaches we
- 29:14mentioned getting fired could easily be asked to come interview for the Alabama job.
- 29:22That's what's so interesting. Now there's a lot of crossovers. It's not as
- 29:26defined as you're a college coach you're a pro coach anymore. So very easily
- 29:34you can go as Pete Carroll to come to Tuscaloosa and run things. It's
- 29:38about management and recruiting. I know that's just, you know, a big
- 29:44thing, and we I hopefully we will find out. I've heard different scenarios
- 29:48with Nick Saban the Great that some have said that maybe it's a medical thing
- 29:55with a family member, and some people have mentioned just the whole embodiment of
- 30:00how college football and the whole n I L and recruiting it has gotten away
- 30:06with what Nick would have known to be college football. I know, it
- 30:11seems that a lot of people are excited about this new It just functions more
- 30:15like pro miss semi pro. To me, doesn't even really have college.
- 30:22The only only thing that's about it that's college is the name of it.
- 30:26The teams, the thing the thing about it, the name of it,
- 30:30the brand of it. It says college. But going to class and and
- 30:33really representing the school in this kind of I'm a student way doesn't even really
- 30:40matter anymore, the student athlete as a thing of the past and the and
- 30:44then and then, like people talked about how I and t Uh the young
- 30:51running back I can't say his name A ten. Yeah, who would think
- 30:55which one? The younger brother that's played at Florida? Okay, who would
- 30:59think you would jump in the transfer portal and go play with your rival.
- 31:03So there's a lot of people like, you know, this is something's wrong
- 31:06if you if you jump into transferred portal, like you said, it's not
- 31:10No, it's not about the school anymore or the college. It's just like
- 31:14semipro because hey, I'm gonna go up here and play with Well the receiver
- 31:17for Georgia transferred to Alabama last year. Yeah, and that's why I said
- 31:22Burton. Wasn't that his name something? Burton so so and you you mentioned
- 31:27that job. And it was crazy how just watching everything and seeing social media
- 31:33react to Nick Saban and like the state of half of Alabama was split,
- 31:38you know, Auburn side they was like, hey, shall keep rolling Alabama.
- 31:44People were like they upset. But my thing is like, like you
- 31:48said, it's a very beautiful job. It's a great job. And we
- 31:49just talked about Hardball being a at Michigan and everything that's just happened. When
- 31:57the last few years at Clemson with Dabbos Sweeney, Dabbo being an Alabama grad,
- 32:01Alabama born and raised. It's only a million dollars just to buy out
- 32:07his contract. That just he just signed a big contract with Clemson. How
- 32:14far do you think they would go or how would you think Dabbo would want
- 32:17to go home. I don't think he's going to go leave Clemson to go
- 32:22to Alabama. I think they might go down to Florida State. Grab Mike
- 32:25Norvel bring him up there. He knows how to play the nil game.
- 32:30Jim Harball is not going to leave Michigan to go to Alabama. Well,
- 32:35I wouldn't saying harborll. I was saying that how Harball went to Michigan went
- 32:38back home, as you said earlier, and you won there, and you
- 32:42would think the Dabbo w want to go back. But that Novelle is interesting
- 32:45because of the fact that he played in the state of Alabama in college.
- 32:50So Nick saban out and these guys are in their seventies. We talked about
- 32:54Bill Belichick is like seventy two. Nick Sabans like seventy two, Pete Carrol's
- 33:00like seventy two. So we kind of saw the writing, even though you
- 33:05don't want to see it. At any moment, they might decide, Hey,
- 33:09I want to enjoy life. I'm tired of this day to day about
- 33:14three hundred days out of the year work scheduled, right, So then a
- 33:19lot of it falls apart when this kid thinks that he can go and make
- 33:22life better for himself somewhere else. What you said by saying Norvel, that
- 33:28means open at Florida State. So what does that mean? What? I
- 33:35don't understand the question. You looked at me. Well, another black coach.
- 33:40He's talking about Dion Sanders. Oh what they go get? Dim Why
- 33:46don't you just say that what do you think they get? Dian? We
- 33:50had to do the whole Joker riddler. If opening comes at Florida State,
- 33:57who will go before it gets to it? It's the same thing I'll asked
- 34:00you about Jameis Winston last show or the show before that. I'm totally with
- 34:06you in a lot of the names and even sometimes the ability, but Deon
- 34:15didn't win at Colorado. So as an alumni, you want us to go
- 34:20hire a guy that hasn't won. What what is it about not actually showing
- 34:25what you can do that you still will go get a guy because most people
- 34:31won't go get the losing coach. But you said the portal game, he
- 34:37understands. He understands Dion understands this new way of what they're doing. So
- 34:42and he has something he was best recruiting. He's done some of the best
- 34:45jobs of getting the tap talent there to Colorado and to Jackson State, and
- 34:51at Colorado he still hasn't won. That's what I'm saying. I got all
- 34:55the grosser bought myself. He went there. He still did have a whole
- 35:00recruiting his kids. I mean he's there, goes the defense again. He
- 35:06he knowed n I L game, but he still didn't have It's either Florida
- 35:13State if they if Norville. What sports jock just said, if if Alabama
- 35:16was to go get Mike Norville, you would be foolish as an alumni anybody
- 35:22else not Florida State not to go get Deon Sanders. That wouldn't make it.
- 35:24So why in any kind of if I, if I if I raced
- 35:29and took and stratched his name out and we went by the stats. What
- 35:37makes you so blind to the stats that you don't that the name overshadows.
- 35:45Why are you so because coming to me and you're telling me you won't need
- 35:47to give this money to a guy on four games, Well, he gonna
- 35:51I mean, he's gonna help make he's gonna help make, he's gonna help
- 35:53make, he's gonna make help of that money, make that money for the
- 35:57college. He's gonna the brand is gonna make money. The brand is gonna
- 36:00plan. They never struggled with money. What you mean they don't need and
- 36:06they don't need him. Okay, they've never struggled with alumni donations STA I'm
- 36:14not saying that, but at this but no, they just got back up.
- 36:20They have been down the last few years. I'm just saying their fan
- 36:23base, they they have been that. I don't think that they Nobody from
- 36:28Florida State this time around will not will not let them say we're not gonna
- 36:34look at them. So what if they interview him and they deem that he's
- 36:37just not what we want? Then what happens they racist, and they and
- 36:42then what if Colorado go, oh, you tried to leave us, so
- 36:45we'll cancel your contract here, But then what are they racist? Just got
- 36:50a buy out, so it'd be you know in that situation. I'm just
- 36:52we just talked. I just never I don't know you to take the side
- 36:57of anybody, babroducer. If they came and said they won four games last
- 37:01year, I don't know that you go hire somebody at a prestigious college that
- 37:07at the college they were at last year, they were four and eight or
- 37:12four to nine. This ain't the swack that that might fly there. That
- 37:16might fly at the swack where they go, oh yeah, and then the
- 37:21profile that he brings in the money that he brings, because before we were
- 37:24dealing with a financial deficit, we were dealing with a t a talent deficit.
- 37:30That's not Florida State's issues. Okay, none of those hypothetically asked your
- 37:34question. If it was Deon coaching that undefeated team last year, you don't
- 37:37think they wouldn't have still put them in the playoffs. If if was a
- 37:42fifth nah, I mean, come on now, I not if not,
- 37:46if Jordan Travis was hurt Okay. I mean, well, it's just tough
- 37:55for me to see if if that happened, if Alabama would go get a
- 37:59mite for Florida State not to attempt to bring coach Sanders to Florida State,
- 38:07and you would only say that about coach Sanders. And that's where we are.
- 38:09That's all we're saying about your bias. You have a bias that is
- 38:14so entrenched in you that anyone else that would come to you with a four
- 38:19and eight, four and nine record, who was three and one and then
- 38:22lost like eighty last nine games or something like that, you wouldn't be considered
- 38:28them for a job of that caliber on that record. If you an alumni
- 38:32from there, if you play there, That's that's where I'm talking about with
- 38:37Dan him being up from playing at a Florida State. You know. But
- 38:43but I'm just saying Jim Harball was like eleven and one at Stanford or something
- 38:50when they asked him to come coach. He didn't come there with two leans
- 38:55and low key took us to the vortex. You did more after this checking
- 39:07I got that you look to write to but you'll talk is what your wood
- 39:14with me, and your is your correct way to get your groove homes and
- 39:17not pay the costs to be the boss as a kid. Now, I'd
- 39:21be the one that you can mess with. John Borlwayne bar of the sports

- 42:17Between between a lock on, say you can see a sports jaint,
- 42:32I'll sing even very canny, Welcome back to this boy, shock show.
- 42:37I'm this one shock Wayne Gandy sad news. If you haven't heard, I'm
- 42:43quite sure. NBA is front and center, but our man John Morint had
- 42:45season ending shoulder surgery this week. He will be out for Memphis. We
- 42:52know the Memphis team without Job because they had a good chance of showing for
- 42:58twenty five games without him there. Uh, they are not going to make
- 43:04the playoffs unless something extreme happened. He's just one of those guys you can't
- 43:10It's hard to make anything in the NBA without your star player, and he
- 43:15is their star player along with Jared Jackson. But he is what makes him
- 43:20move. You felt like they could make up some ground if he was out
- 43:23there, but he's having shoulder surgery. Tough year for joh Morant and Memphis,
- 43:31but he's a young player. It's John twenty four, twenty five years
- 43:36old, so he should heal quickly. But he is gone. I'm glad.
- 43:40I'm glad I got a chance to get the sin. Yeah before is
- 43:45it the shoulder attached to his shooting hand, shooting hand? If you pulling
- 43:52gods off, get it. Rent. We talked about Chris Paul out for
- 44:02four to six weeks and Draymond Green has been reinstated. I'm not sure which
- 44:08game they have put on tap for him to come back, but in Draymond's
- 44:15words from what I was reading, he's he's reflected in the twenty one twenty
- 44:22two days he's been away. He sees how he has let his team down,
- 44:29and he's making more of a commitment to cut out the antics. Oh
- 44:32my goodness, of how he plays. I'm not encouraged. I mean,
- 44:38because there's a person who's been in trouble before. I said to myself,
- 44:42as long as he don't come back and say he reflected, because that's just
- 44:45me. I'm gonna do what I'm gonna do, but I want to sound
- 44:49like I ain't gonna do it, and yeah, well I will give him
- 44:52this. It will be easier in this era to live by that plan because
- 45:04he's kind of the only person that's on the court that plays in antics all
- 45:10the time. Yes, so he's not going to necessarily get someone to antagonize
- 45:16him right to get back into that guard. There used to be guys everybody
- 45:22had a guy on their team who blowing your eggs. Yeah, who will
- 45:25come and pull on your shorts, say honey, enough cheerios. You know
- 45:30what I'm saying, something to get under your skin. Now when you watch
- 45:31the court, there seems, Draymond, you're the only one out here with
- 45:36these little games. Nine generation don't really do the They do cash to you
- 45:43and something to their hair and wear different colored shoes, but they don't do
- 45:49the gainsmanship right. Kind of little things to try to get on your nerve.
- 45:53One of the few people I ever see it is is here in Atlanta,
- 45:57Trey Young. He has a little that old school where he tries to
- 46:00get little files and you know, and and kind of that's kind of a
- 46:04part of his game. Antagonized people get the just constantly needling. Yeah,
- 46:08He's very few teams have that. Most of them are like Jason Tatum,
- 46:14They're very boring. But well, see that's that's that's that's bullying. No.
- 46:20No, when I was growing up, that was called honestly, they
- 46:23changed the name of the bullying now but but not interesting. And now you
- 46:30feel attacked. Remember I gave you the thirty two points though they were thirty
- 46:36two vanilla. There were thirty two very uninspiring points and you know that.
- 46:43But it was you wanted me to elbow somebody. No, I ain't say
- 46:49every once anile. You should just say it's an accident. Years through the
- 46:55last couple of years you have I have noticed like those what he's saying,
- 46:59most the guys and what you said, these younger guys that more needle and
- 47:04acting crazy. It's more off the court. They don't use them on court.
- 47:07They're like mild mannered. Hey buddy, that's what I'm saying. You
- 47:10can mom. You remember we played a you together a couple time played against
- 47:15you know. It's more like that friendship instead of like, man, I'm
- 47:17going to get you tonight. You got Trey Young. I'm just still out
- 47:21a couple of names. Tray Young, you got Patrick Beverley, Draymond,
- 47:30Marcus smart Market. That's what I'm saying. It's so limited that play with
- 47:37that kind of get on your try to wear you down mentally, and those
- 47:40other guys like a Tatum Boring. He might give you thirty two points,
- 47:45but outside of that, there's no impact on the game. Nobody's filing out,
- 47:49nobody's getting off of their rhythm because they have to deal with him.
- 47:53If they can contain the thirty two points, we got a fighting chance.
- 47:58But with guys like the Draymond, with guys like the Marcus Smart, once
- 48:01they get in your head, then we got other problems now because now they've
- 48:07contained the thirty two points, and he's filed out, now he's gotten a
- 48:09tech. Now, it's all of those different things, and some of that
- 48:14to me seems like lack of effort. If I can't hit thirty two,
- 48:17then y'all just gonna have to take it come. And the only reason I'm
- 48:21saying that with Draymond, and if he made a commitment, it would be
- 48:24easy because there's not a lot of players out there that's gonna go back and
- 48:28forth with him with that kind of stuff that's gonna push the ball in his
- 48:31chest. Right. They too cool for that, Like they just they don't
- 48:35do that. They too cool, And you would think I'd be looking for
- 48:38that from my halts. They may file somebody, you know, I mean,
- 48:42I don't really mean foul in a sense of now we mean not a
- 48:45Bill lamb not a Bill lambierd choke you with two hands, filey. That
- 48:52ain't even bast They help each other up. They be helping the other team
- 48:55off the court, and it's like, where's that started? Like we come
- 49:00from an era like we noticing out here a lot of old school players,
- 49:04and you, being a big man, was playing download. You never let
- 49:06nobody run the bottom of the baseline. Like they let them run down,
- 49:08you will chuck them or you here, they just let them run through in
- 49:12different things. So it's that point of playing basketball. Hey hey, buddy,
- 49:15let me see you get off tonight. How much you're gonna get off?
- 49:17And then you see that a lot of times that Plus I'm quite sure
- 49:22in this time Draymond did the math. And sometimes the math comes up like,
- 49:30okay, it was worth it, right, losing three million dollars was
- 49:36worth it some I mean, said somebody. And then some time three million
- 49:39dollars don't ever add up to me to loose. But maybe one time you
- 49:43did do the math. And it was worth it, And then other times
- 49:45you thinking I'm so stupid, I'm be tripping, I'm really stupid. My
- 49:51mom gonna keep looking at me like I can't believe you. You know you
- 49:54tripping. We'll be back with more than Sports. John Shud lost three million

- 52:22take a seat, late back and listen. This wais what shock show.
- 52:25This what shock Wayne came a good morning. Tell you once again, a
- 52:30lot of coaches are stepping away from some prominent jobs. Uh. In the
- 52:36world of prayers. All we could do is maybe wake up a year or
- 52:40two from now, and Bill Belichick and Nick Saban have decided to go coach
- 52:46somewhere together. Who am I some big news? Just go coach somewhere together?
- 52:52You know, is that legal? You never be an antitrust law.
- 52:57Itst that like they'd investigate if that was atro. We can just go coach
- 53:01together somewhere, right, So Amazon and Mata just gonna join up together and
- 53:07start a business. And ain't nobody gonna get involved and be like, hey,
- 53:10you can't do that. Maybe that's one of their drinks. They're best
- 53:14friends. We hang out all the time. Maybe they want to coach together.
- 53:16Sporting World couldn't they couldn't take especially, No, no, they wouldn't.
- 53:22They had reported that Nick had just bought a last summer a new house
- 53:27in Palm Beach and searching as Bill bought the house and Palm Beaches anybody else,
- 53:31So you know, you know, if they shot Bill membership, they're
- 53:36there, them, those two coaches being friends. And that's why I said,
- 53:39I don't know where Pete Carroll stands with them as far as friendship.
- 53:43They're all of the same age group. They all could be friends. They
- 53:46could all talk on the phone. You just feel like Bill Belichick, Nick
- 53:50Saban could have reached that same point in dealing with what we call that new
- 53:53mindset of the athlete, the new rules of which they have to play under,
- 54:00the hours that they have minimized. Uh, you know a lot of
- 54:05criticism, not necessarily in a negative way, but how they run their programs
- 54:10have been put out there in the spotlight, the the old you know,
- 54:15rules of especially if you're Nick Saban with the college landscape, you are so
- 54:22far removed from coaching now that you might have forgotten what coaching is. The
- 54:30way that they you're like really just a corporate right, company runner, You're
- 54:36just the CEO. Your little minutes of coaching is only for when would you
- 54:42get around to actual coaching. You meet the guys for the first time at
- 54:45the company orientation, for the for the for what the head coach has to
- 54:51do at a university. Now, when are you actually the X and O
- 54:55guy And you see him out on the field like that, like he's you
- 55:00know, he's still yelling at the players, but he might not have a
- 55:05real feel of what the strategy of the plays are because he's so and which
- 55:09are about men who used to it was just them and three other coaches coaching
- 55:14a whole football team. Now it's I got assistance to the assistance to the
- 55:20the the you know, I got guys up in the booth. That's just
- 55:22here for consultations, right, There's so many coaches in here that all I
- 55:29get to do is go to this meeting. So you never know how that
- 55:31might be. They might want some ground roots, yeah, in a year
- 55:37or two. But with Pete Carroll, he was emotional like maybe he was
- 55:40caught by a little surprise with that the job in Seattle, I expect him
- 55:49to easily get some interviews. Could you know Atlanta might be a good spot
- 55:53for him. He seemed to have that kind of charisma where he speaks to
- 55:58modern day language of the players. Would you like him in Atlanta? I
- 56:04don't. I'm not. I have to think about that a little bit more,
- 56:06okay, because I mean he's not. I'm sorry. I'm going to
- 56:12say wait, and I was gonna say, what what are the what are
- 56:15the points about his resume that you are pondering most well, I mean the
- 56:22age factor is one thing, and then basically Pete Carroll, I'm not for
- 56:27sure if I mean he he's not going to have that say so like he
- 56:32had with Arthur Blank and the other gym of the GM that's in right now
- 56:38and with Rich McKay. So, he's gonna have to share a little bit
- 56:42of that thought power as far as like what he wants to do and what
- 56:45he can do. And I think that's be So who would you like out
- 56:50there right now? Who would you like to put in your falcons headset?
- 56:55Man? It's tough. It's a lot of good candidate. Well, you
- 57:01ponder on that while we keep the show going, and I'll come back to
- 57:04you a little later. You you hadn't thought about it, seeing as how
- 57:07your coach is already fired. I've thought about it. I mean just just
- 57:12just thought about that thought about quarterbacks. You know what to do with the
- 57:15draft? You know where we are, Like you shake your head. You
- 57:20want what I'm saying. If you thought about it, then give us one
- 57:22of those, even if it's an incomplete thought of your thought. I was
- 57:25going to not just put it out there and then it comes back to haunt
- 57:30me and y'all want to throw it in my face. I'm not gonna do
- 57:31that right now. But delicate, How can a wish list be thrown back
- 57:37into your face. Man, you guys hit that delicate. I mean,
- 57:42you can say And then you said you don't want to say nothing that's gonna
- 57:45come back to haunt you. I almost called you Caniga and said, Caiga
- 57:52please. You always say stuff that comes back to haunt you. And now
- 57:58you don't want to speak on your beloved Falcons. And of all of these
- 58:02coaches, you don't see one, not even you don't have a coach or
- 58:07do you have? You said a quarterback? Who would you like to be
- 58:09the quarterback? Well, like I said, I told you that. The
- 58:13other day I had three James got xed out because of that situation with the
- 58:19other two. It was I said, let's look at fit justin Fields and
- 58:23possibly Cousins and Russell. Now, if we could get Russell to come in
- 58:31and Pete come with him, that might that may work. But other than
- 58:37that, you know, a Raider fan from New York said, you were
- 58:40talking about harrorball on Monday. He did say hardball. But I mean,
- 58:45I'm just gonna because but you do know, before I can get to the
- 58:47quarterback, I got to get a head coach. Yeah, I understand that.
- 58:51I understand that until you have no thoughts on the head coach, worry
- 58:55about the raiders. Yeah, I got some thoughts. He's right. I
- 58:59will love to you know. Okay. Another listener from Florida said, bad
- 59:06producer, stop being sensitive. We'll be with more of the sports Talk show

- 1:01:23Tell you out there listening land super Wildcard weekend. At the end of the
- 1:01:29show, we will talk about, UH some of those games. Can the
- 1:01:34Green Bay upset the Cowboys? What can Miami do in four degree temperature in
- 1:01:40Kansas City? Can the Stellers get any pressure on Josh Allen without TJ Watts?
- 1:01:49Uh? Put all the playoff games coming up this weekend? Uh,
- 1:01:52starting on Saturday, ending on Monday night. So Super Wildcard. We been
- 1:02:00a super week in sports, with some legends of the games now stepping away
- 1:02:05from at least for now, Bill Belichick stepping away after twenty four years with
- 1:02:09the Patriots winning all those Super Bowls. Really an iconic dynasty that you could
- 1:02:17name Bill Belichick Stadium at Tom Brady Field, or you could turn it the
- 1:02:23other way, tom Brady Stadium at Bill Belichick Field if you Robert Kraft is
- 1:02:30something that you could think of completely and just name it after both, or
- 1:02:35just name it Brady and Belichick Field or something. But both of them deserve
- 1:02:40something we haven't seen and really may never see again when you talk about the
- 1:02:45world of football, that long of dominance, and as much as you want
- 1:02:52to discredit them, they were able to do it in so many different various
- 1:02:57ways under just that same kind of mentality of what they call the Patriot way.
- 1:03:04Candidates as Comanche Great mentioned Jared Mayo, who was a long time Patriot,
- 1:03:10has been there as an assistant here a couple of years. The disciple
- 1:03:15like Rabel being let from Tennessee, that's possible that firing or could have been
- 1:03:21what sparked Belichick two step away. I feel like the Patriots and the way
- 1:03:25that they converse, all those things could be stitched together. They looked like
- 1:03:32a planning organization to where Bill and Craft would use that firing to bring Vrabel
- 1:03:43back to the fold. When you look at how their team is just they've
- 1:03:46they've always been that way. Josh McDonel's leaves, Josh McDaniels might show up
- 1:03:52as the offense coordinator next year. Matt Patricia left, Matt Patricia ends up
- 1:03:58back as the linebacker coach. You know, it's just they just keep They've
- 1:04:01had that going on for a while now, so very likely that this could
- 1:04:09be something where Mike Rabel or Jared Mayo and Mike Rabel will come the line.
- 1:04:13They just seem to keep it in house. They seem to really what's
- 1:04:17what's the Illuminati? It seemed to have like this illuminati feel of that whatever
- 1:04:27happens somewhere else, you still are part of this. This is your first
- 1:04:33No matter what happens, you get the circle back to the week obligation.
- 1:04:36We will see how that works. Alabama letting Nick Saban retire. We have
- 1:04:43no real reason why. Only Nick wouldn't know, and knowing Nick, he
- 1:04:49most likely won't tell us rumors maybe that someone in his family has been ill,
- 1:04:56but it could have been just this off season. And I say that
- 1:05:00because one of the great players I played with Quartes. Kennedy still was able
- 1:05:08to play. He was about year nine, year ten, and he said
- 1:05:13he went to start training for the next season, went to the track,
- 1:05:20jogged the first lap, and when he got around to the second lap,
- 1:05:25he was like, what, I'm going home, so you don't know,
- 1:05:31I'm going to call my every chauffeur. Everybody's waiting on this injury or this
- 1:05:38great dramatic moment, but you don't know when that little feeling like you just
- 1:05:42don't want to go. And I could easily see someone like a Nick Saban
- 1:05:47sitting there filling these calls. And then some kid that said they was going
- 1:05:53to come started talking about wanting to park. He's gonna need something like that,
- 1:05:58I need a parking space with my million dollars in because that's already he's
- 1:06:02accepted that part. Okay, the million dollars, but I want a parking
- 1:06:05space right next to yours. You know what, I won't be here.
- 1:06:10Have you heard that he's supposed to be going to college game day in ESPN?
- 1:06:15What's my lee corso I believe is that the guy that picks the and
- 1:06:18puts the heads on. I think he's supposed to be taking his place on
- 1:06:24college and game. Yeah, that could be just a break from the day
- 1:06:27to day. And that's why I said, get maybe some more family time.
- 1:06:30And both him and Belichick have been done documentaries where they talk about how
- 1:06:33much they have missed because they are like almost addicts when it comes to coaching.
- 1:06:42They want the whole just enough time to sleep and they want to coach.
- 1:06:46So we will see Pete Carroll going from Seattle. That's a great job
- 1:06:53to have out there. A lot of interesting jobs now with Belichick and New
- 1:06:57England, the Raiders. Where were the Raiders go? Pete Carroll is a
- 1:07:00raider type guy to me, and and when you talk about it, it's
- 1:07:05not Pete Carroll like the raider type head coach. And I think it's interesting
- 1:07:10that he player coach. Yeah, that they kind of seem like they want
- 1:07:14in Vegas. It's still West coast. Excuse me. I said he'd fit
- 1:07:18that environment. But man, producer, you talked about possibly Russell coming here.
- 1:07:25What if uh, Pete Carroll came here and bought Russell. That's what
- 1:07:30That's what That's what I was saying. If Pete and Russell, that would
- 1:07:32I said that in the last same if if Russell would be here and Pete
- 1:07:36he could bring it in work. But even if Vegas pick up, try
- 1:07:41to go after Russell and bring Pete Carroll. I mean, anytime, you
- 1:07:45gotta look at that possibility right now of bringing them two back together. We
- 1:07:48don't know why they separated in Seattle, if it was money management or whatever.
- 1:07:54Maybe they're whatever that relationship is, so it could be Pete Carroll realized
- 1:07:59that there's nothing left in Russell and it's time to dig new paths. Russell
- 1:08:09hasn't had a lot of success since he left Peat, and maybe it's time
- 1:08:13to get That's what I'm saying. Probably it's a possibility get back to that
- 1:08:16ear. And that sounded like you traded him because he had nothing left.
- 1:08:20He got traded because Russell Wilson. If I have already had a team where
- 1:08:29I had all the parts, Russell Wilson is somebody I would go get.
- 1:08:30He's a veteran guy, think I can trust. He can no longer do
- 1:08:34it himself. He would need to be where everything else is already. I
- 1:08:42already got receivers, I got an O line. Sounded like a Joe Flacco
- 1:08:45situation. The Cleveland Parts are there. They just need someone to be able
- 1:08:48to execute it. But in Atlanta, I don't know because Atlanta's talent.
- 1:08:55As I keep trying to say, I think the players are talented, they
- 1:08:59haven't played the talent. On the field. You got Kyle pits that runs
- 1:09:04a four to four, but on the field looks like he runs a five
- 1:09:08to one. You try to remember a play where Kyle Pitts was behind somebody.
- 1:09:15You can't the field. You forget it. On the field, he's
- 1:09:18never behind anybody. So you don't have that aspect. You don't really have
- 1:09:24an explosive, big play player. So it's more to us the failure of
- 1:09:29Atlanta than they couldn't figure out the quarterback and they tried. That's what the
- 1:09:33IF album fans. They did try to go fix their quarterback situation. People
- 1:09:38always forget they pushed the chips in for de Shaun Watson. Yes they did,
- 1:09:43but people talk about the organization as though the organization didn't try to get
- 1:09:45a quarterback because they didn't want to go to a quarterback through the draft.
- 1:09:53That doesn't mean that they didn't try to get a quarterback. Two years ago.
- 1:09:56They tried to get a quarterback. They just want to go through a
- 1:10:00quarterback through a draft. That's not that they wanted to change philosophies. You
- 1:10:05do have to kind of consider that. Do you the same thing with the
- 1:10:09Justin fields? Do you want to gamble on somebody that's four or five years
- 1:10:12got a little seasoning? Right? I like the best chicken it is the
- 1:10:17second batch. Yeah, when you fried chicken, the first batch of chicken
- 1:10:21fried in fresh grease. No too light, it's too light, too light.
- 1:10:26You need to hit this sweet spot. That's that second and third when
- 1:10:30you drive it, they start getting the flavor. Amen. Because from the
- 1:10:41restaurant business, that is called when the grease hits the sweet spot where it
- 1:10:45is fried just enough chicken that it gets the chicken golden brown and seals in
- 1:10:49all of the flavor. And that is only achievable after the second or third
- 1:10:56batch of chicken is dropped. So it's scientific, isn't that? Yes?
- 1:10:59You want to you want that's the You're wondering why that second batch so's there
- 1:11:08still sitting now? I'm I'm because some of these quarterbacks are so young and
- 1:11:13so that first two or three years, like with Jordan Love. That's why
- 1:11:17I tell people some of the best quarterbacks you've ever Patrick Mahone was not a
- 1:11:21day one starter. Neither was Aaron the Great Aaron Rodgers. These guys they
- 1:11:28got a little seasoning in them and then they took over. So but I
- 1:11:32just know here in Atlanta they had like the Falcons organization didn't make a move.
- 1:11:38They did make a move, they just didn't. That guy didn't want
- 1:11:44to come and then we were stuck trying to get what we could get.
- 1:11:46And now, so you know, it's your philosophy. So Pete Carroll,
- 1:11:50Jim Harball, Alabama Auburn fans, slap yourself if you were down there rolling
- 1:11:59tumor corner. That ain't championship football. You want a big beat Nick Saban.
- 1:12:08If all you're thinking about is Nick Saban is gone, now you can
- 1:12:11win. You a coward. I want to beat the BAMA team with Nick
- 1:12:17Saban as the coach. I don't take no real Nick gone, and now
- 1:12:23we can win a coward league. Maybe maybe too. Yeah, that's I
- 1:12:29guess people do want to score out of victory reformation. I guess they do.

- 1:18:28getting ready for the Super Bowl halftime show, which means that his shirt's coming
- 1:18:31off. That's what. That's what. When I'm reading that, I'm like,
- 1:18:34okay, sir, coming off in a speedo. He's gonna throw the
- 1:18:38speed of no alcohol. That means he's getting ready for shirtless and he does
- 1:18:43one of those intestinal vacuum processes two to make his abs come out and show
- 1:18:54more. They do a process where they flood, because why would you give
- 1:18:59up alcohol and sugar sugar if you're gonna take your shirt off? Buck necket
- 1:19:02he in somebody next to Kiki Palmer. Watch, it's gonna be somebody mad.
- 1:19:09Come the next morning, Monday morning, somebody gonna be looking for us.
- 1:19:14Usher's doing the halftime show this year, and Big Kenny says that n
- 1:19:18w a uh Kniga with Attitude will be getting a Lifetime Achievement Award from the
- 1:19:30Grammy. From the Grammys, and I used to think that they hated the
- 1:19:33Grammys. I used to think that they were anti Grammy. That was the
- 1:19:38whole platform when they were selling millions of albums and anti establishment, anti establishment,
- 1:19:45especially places like the Grammar. So I wonder who they're gonna put together
- 1:19:49the do you know used to they usually have a performance, you know,
- 1:19:53the younger artists or whatever, and just who's gonna if all of them will
- 1:19:58show up together on the They trust me, ice Cube gonna do his parts.
- 1:20:02Oh he ain't not gonna nobody else. I don't think ice Cube gonna
- 1:20:05trust nobody to do his Dren his car this part, Rin could do.
- 1:20:11They I mean they're still in w A now, They're still relevant, That's
- 1:20:15what I'm saying. These aren't people like they're doing tributes to Tina Turner.
- 1:20:19Beyonce's supposed to a tribute Tena Turner for obvious reasons, she won't be there,
- 1:20:25but the rest of them are still present and relevant. Doctor Dre still
- 1:20:30produces, ice Cube is still at the forefront of the music production and movies.
- 1:20:34So I'm looking forward to the performance myself. I want to see what
- 1:20:39they do and how they pull it off. Because of course, they gain
- 1:20:43their fame as the middle finger to the establishment and now you're presenting this on
- 1:20:46live television where there isn't much room even in these days for their lyrics.
- 1:20:51And you also have to give them the d of you say, n w
- 1:20:58A. But I don't have to just hold you to that. Your impact
- 1:21:02as entities of n w A is what really garners you this lifetime achievement that
- 1:21:10it doesn't just have to be as the group itself, right, But the
- 1:21:14people from that group went on to take over music. They could bring out
- 1:21:18gwyn Stefani, They could bring out Eve and Marry J Blige and all of
- 1:21:25the people that Doctor Dre has produced and and you roll back and even I
- 1:21:29came out as a group with you sneak somebody like a Kendrick Lamar in there
- 1:21:33to do easy e park if you just needed to do the song the song,
- 1:21:38that's what I'm saying. A song. They're gonna do the NWA songs,
- 1:21:41That's what I'm saying. I mean, but just those different parts and
- 1:21:44bring them in there. But they could That's what I'm saying. Q could
- 1:21:46come do a song. Drake could come to a song, and they could

- 1:25:06have been given full access to the players lounge on the Sports Jack Show with
- 1:25:11Wayne Gandy. Welcome back to this boy talk show. Good morning, tell
- 1:25:39you glad to be here with you. Last night, the Atlanta Hawks having
- 1:25:44enough in overtime to beat the Philadelphia seventy six ers. Jolo Beib did not
- 1:25:49play, but it was a great game, went to overtime. Jayalen Johnson
- 1:25:55playing huge last night for the Hawks. In the game, it was a
- 1:26:00good game and that's all you can ever hope. Regardless of who hits the
- 1:26:02court, the Hawks did win in the game. Interesting they play a game
- 1:26:10where one of the players does like a breakdown of competition of different Sometimes it's
- 1:26:19food, sometimes it's actor. Sometimes you know those kind of got to be
- 1:26:27jolly ranchers versus sneakers. They just keep asking them Sneakers versus and last night
- 1:26:31it was rap right and the player it came down to. And it's just
- 1:26:39so funny. When I continued, I laughed all night. The last two
- 1:26:44participants in the rap of the hip Hop was Ghanna versus Outcasts. Yes,
- 1:26:56you already know I'm going with this. I feel like I know how this
- 1:26:59went now I'm there with my man Falcon great, rowdy white no more.
- 1:27:14And the player, young player, I cannot remember his name. I think
- 1:27:19it was the first the first round pick from Duke that they never play.
- 1:27:24Oh aj Griffin Okay, and he said Ghane, the whole arena boot him
- 1:27:34boom, fifteen thousand people, the visitors, the buildings. Yes, I
- 1:27:43know you didn't take uh Atlanta's most storied sons in hip hop music, Southern
- 1:27:50player list of ka like music, who put us on the map the South
- 1:27:54got something to say? You made everybody aware that and put him up against
- 1:27:59the dude to put one of Atlanta's ratings sounds of hip hop pushing PRIs pushing
- 1:28:04p and said he's the better one. He said that, Yes, and
- 1:28:10they break it down. It's a cute game and they don't do it every
- 1:28:13game. But about every other game they have some kind of you know,
- 1:28:15and more of the interesting ones are they'll do like a cereal right where they
- 1:28:21keep going and it starts off with maybe you know, twenty six twenty eight,
- 1:28:27and they keep breaking it down so you keep going, so it just
- 1:28:30keeps going. Last night was hip hop, so you might start off with
- 1:28:33t I versus Gezy, right, and then you pick from that one and
- 1:28:38it just keeps going. So it got to the last one he said.
- 1:28:42It was Gunna over Outcast, and the reaction of the stadium told the whole
- 1:28:47story. They started wrapping in women, white black, he said. And
- 1:28:57the song what you mean, what you mean did they drop it? Did
- 1:29:04they drop the Gunna song? At the it was boo. They were trying
- 1:29:09to play the song, but nobody could understand how you picked Ghanna over outcasts?
- 1:29:15Over five the coming the number Let never know who to hate? That
- 1:29:19they to your ego. So Atlanta's on. I don't know what what it
- 1:29:24is about the outcast that people in this city don't get that. That is
- 1:29:30the beacon of what said we were in the music game, Yes they were.
- 1:29:36Was the beacon that said its careers, yes, and they won't be
- 1:29:42the last, but they were the beacon as Big Kenny even alluding to as
- 1:29:46we all know that said, hey, we here, we here. I
- 1:29:50mean to say, we're not just passing through. Y'all gonna have to come
- 1:29:56and see what we're talking about. And look at what their profile gave,
- 1:30:00the opportunities that gave music artist out of at for a group. I didn't
- 1:30:04because at first I couldn't even figure out how he kept moving Ghana alone when
- 1:30:10I I don't know a Ghana song. So I didn't even know how Ghana
- 1:30:17beat t I or Jesus. He just kept moving him along, and I
- 1:30:24just I was lost. I'm quite sure if you put on a song you
- 1:30:29you might be I wouldn't know it was Ghana. I might just have don't
- 1:30:32heard the song, you know, the one that car spot So no no
- 1:30:39no, I thought, okay, Ghana is no no, no no,
- 1:30:49that's a little baby. Oh I'm sorry, okay, pushing thought that was
- 1:31:00that U is gonna in future? Wi? What's oh this is gonna?
- 1:31:08No? No, no, huh, that's it. Okay. I knew
- 1:31:15it. I knew, I knew, I knew wanted song. You would
- 1:31:17I get the artists confused like you. I got him confused. So that
- 1:31:23was that last night's game, A great crowd. Uh. That was this
- 1:31:27thing that stood out the most of the whole game. Nobody, It was
- 1:31:30a great game. People getting dunked on last second buzzer beaters, tyrrun Maxie.
- 1:31:36Uh got hot dunked on like three people. He's only like six.
- 1:31:41Two went down the middle dunked on three of our players. And the thing
- 1:31:45that stuck out the most of the whole game was this man picked gunner.
- 1:31:49Did he have to sneak out? Did he have to sneak out of the
- 1:31:53arena? Like, look, man, I ain't leaving till all these people
- 1:31:55beave. Uh. I looked at the box scorer this morning like he didn't
- 1:31:59play. He didn't know. They couldn't put him in the game. Yes,
- 1:32:03that's the only reason I knew it was him, because I had tell
- 1:32:05her, I said, who is that? Because usually they put somebody up
- 1:32:09like a Jamonte Murray or one of the players, you know, Clinton Capella.
- 1:32:15I didn't know who this guy was, but I could tell who he
- 1:32:17was picking. He was younger because he kept going with Lil YACHTI over Jermaine
- 1:32:24dupri He was just picking people. I'm like, oh, he must be
- 1:32:28twenty one. He had to be born in two thousand, you local weekend.
- 1:32:34So that's what happened at the Hawks and the Hawks tomorrow night here against
- 1:32:40the Indie and Pacers as well. Pat McAfee and Aaron Rodgers are not going
- 1:32:45to be on air anymore this year from what the reports are all stemming from
- 1:32:53the Jimmy Kimmel incident a couple of weeks ago, where Aaron Rodgers eluded that
- 1:33:00maybe Jimmy Kimmel was on the Jeffrey Epstein lists, and as we talked about
- 1:33:05with Big Kenny and he admitted that most comedians are very sensitive. Super Jimmy
- 1:33:12Kimmel didn't take that to be funny at all at all, and he said
- 1:33:15stuff like that one hundred times in his monologue, but he ain't like it
- 1:33:18when they said about him, like I told you, comedians are tend to
- 1:33:23foot. It's okay for Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, oh yeah, and
- 1:33:29be roasted for the whole week that that story is relevant. But hey,
- 1:33:32Aaron Rodgers said something on a channel of a platform way far away from where
- 1:33:38Jimmy Kimmel works, and he noticed and threatened legal actions, even did a
- 1:33:43monologue with Aaron Rodgers and called Aaron Rodgers Karen Rodgers. Uh So, now
- 1:33:48ESPN who didn't concede. It's not like they conceded that. They just have
- 1:33:54decided that we just won't bring Aaron Rodgers on. You know, for a
- 1:33:59little while on the Pat McAfee show, even had Pat McAfee having to defend
- 1:34:03him his position. Yeah, and I ain't say that. He tried not
- 1:34:10to get shut y'all already took my shirt. Well, I watched the it's
- 1:34:15called Aaron Rodgers Tuesdays. On Tuesdays they do where he come in on the
- 1:34:19second half hour. They've been doing it for a long time. And as
- 1:34:23we know, Aaron Rodgers, he the other day he said he felt that,
- 1:34:28like a lot of things he spoke on, I'm not just a dumb
- 1:34:31athlete. I'm more than that. I read, I study. Uh he
- 1:34:34felt like that, like you said, you can joke about everybody else,
- 1:34:38you joked about me for when I said I wasn't gonna take the vaccine the
- 1:34:42shot, and you clown. You know, that's where he said. It
- 1:34:45all started with Jimmy Kimmel high he was they were constantly clowning him, saying,
- 1:34:48oh, you're gonna get people, You're gonna kill people. Aaron Rodgers,
- 1:34:51you're wrong for saying that you don't need to go get the shot and
- 1:34:55things like that, and Aaron Rodgers like, hey, I've did research,
- 1:34:58I've talked to doctors, I called people and you know, into the dark
- 1:35:00room. And then he said, you know, even to the point that
- 1:35:04he was even making fun of Jimmy Kimmel saying, yeah, I went to
- 1:35:08junior college, but I went to Cal at the well only my junior college
- 1:35:14education along with my Cal education, I'm very dumb, Jimmy Kimmel. So
- 1:35:17I think, just in the climate we in right now, it was a
- 1:35:20smart move by ESPN to pulling back you know Rogers like I say, still
- 1:35:28playing and stuff, and a lot of people sensitive about to think some of
- 1:35:30the things that he said. And you know, he has a platform besides
- 1:35:34this football. Well I don't get as I said, well, you get
- 1:35:38to say things. Your whole late night talk show monologue is about making and
- 1:35:44mocking and comedy of what happens to people during that day or during the week.
- 1:35:50But then you're sensitive to somebody looping you into a joke, right,
- 1:35:57And for Aaron Rodgers, I'm a little just appointed in ESPN that they wouldn't
- 1:36:01let him stand on. It was a joke. Pat McAfee curses live on
- 1:36:05the show, his guests cursed Rogers, and nobody's ever had a problem with
- 1:36:11that, so a joke. And for you to to restrict him or sideline
- 1:36:16him because of that, I think it's giving too much power to whining on
- 1:36:20the behalf of Jimmy Kim. Yeah. I would have just let Aaron Rodgers
- 1:36:24if he had some kind of contract or it's this Tuesday thing, I just
- 1:36:28kept him on. If Pat McAfee can do his show and a wife beat
- 1:36:32him, oh yes he could. Jimmy. If you got a problem with
- 1:36:42it, comes to the dark room and see me about it. That's what
- 1:36:45I'm saying. That's basically what Aaron Rodgers said on Tuesdays, like, hey,
- 1:36:47man, meet me at Joshua Tree. Did you not see Jeopardy Man?
- 1:36:54Look a look at commands you had that looked like you know about Joshua
- 1:36:57Yeah? Yeah, who told you water bring up josh Tree all the time.

- 1:40:21The legend of Tiger Woods being connected to Nike has been put on pauls after
- 1:40:28twenty seven years. Basically, since Tiger Woods walked out on the greens,
- 1:40:34he has been as a pro. He has been under the umbrella of Nike
- 1:40:41twenty seven years. So basically they caught Tiger when he was first legally able
- 1:40:47to drink at twenty one, and they have made a lot of money.
- 1:40:53I really broke the world into the world of golf. You think about it,
- 1:41:00Golf world used to exist and it always has existed, as you there's
- 1:41:08a reason why they tell you this is the one hundred and nine nineteenth hundred
- 1:41:12Masters. It's not like it's a new thing. But Nike and Tiger Woods
- 1:41:16joining kind of introduced it to the masses that it didn't have to necessarily have
- 1:41:21to be just regarded as a Saturday evening thing. You can grab your clubs,
- 1:41:28put it in the car, and if you got an hour for lunch,
- 1:41:30go down and hit some balls. That was the kind of mindset that
- 1:41:35got introduced with the young Tiger Wu and Nike Geinny. It was almost like
- 1:41:41mass production titleists. Those companies were always around, but Nike made it seem
- 1:41:45like it could be done more by the common man. But the longtime relationship
- 1:41:51between them. Not sure where Tiger with his son now starting getting to that
- 1:41:58age. I think he's about sixteen years old in the sun somewhere like about
- 1:42:04fourteen fifteen. He's not a fifteen yet, okay, but he's charge.
- 1:42:09Yeah, he's a freshman in high school. So never know, Tiger might
- 1:42:13be forming his own company or you know, putting a little more pressure on
- 1:42:18Nike to do something else. Never know, if it's just as a renegotiation,
- 1:42:23but that relationship bared a lot of fruit and really changed, in my
- 1:42:30opinion, the way golf was dealt with in our society. Tiger, that's
- 1:42:36his biggest achievement, if you ask me, more than just the green jackets
- 1:42:42and all. That was how he brought the common man thinking they could be
- 1:42:48golfers or at least playing them, even if it wasn't in a hobby way,
- 1:42:56instead of just going out and played basketball or something like that started golfing.
- 1:43:00And then he bought a certain celebrity element from hip hop to also infuse
- 1:43:09golf into their wraps, their presentations, in their videos. They really expanded
- 1:43:18the game of golf under Tiger Woods. Unbrother, Yeah, what do you
- 1:43:23think about that relationship? I mean, you hate to see something like that
- 1:43:27go away. The Tiger Woods, the tw brand, that was as far
- 1:43:32as the shirts and the shoes and everything. And then, like I said,
- 1:43:35Nike tried the clubs. Tiger did his best to play with those clubs
- 1:43:40as much as possible, even though there was other people constantly wanting to say,
- 1:43:44hey, we're building this for you, Tiger, he did stick with
- 1:43:45Nike did a great job with him. I think that what's hurt Nike as
- 1:43:50far as on that side because they got rid of the club part of it
- 1:43:53about five maybe about six years ago, and then they decided to stay on
- 1:43:57the retail side as far as selling the shirts, the shoes and different things.
- 1:44:01And some of it's going was going pretty good. The Tiger Woods shoe
- 1:44:05line and all that stuff never did uh, it started just fading away.
- 1:44:10A lot of people like I had several of the Tiger Woods Nike golf shoes.
- 1:44:15So, but Nike has what they realized and I was just telling Kenny
- 1:44:18the other day, they have realized that what has taken off is the Jordan
- 1:44:24brand and the East Side golf. These guys they have put a lot of
- 1:44:29ish eyesight on that brand as far as with the as far as selling golf
- 1:44:34shoes and apparel and different things. And Nike at the end of twenty twenty
- 1:44:39three mentioned that they were going to cut back, they were going to make
- 1:44:44a big hue with their endorsements and things like that. It was going to
- 1:44:47really cut back. Nobody understood how they were going to make cuts. A
- 1:44:54lot of them thought it was going to be more firing of employees. But
- 1:44:56they did make mention that they were going to cut back and probably retool.
- 1:45:00When you talk about the world of sports and Nike, Nike's done this before.
- 1:45:05There was a time where Nike had everybody had a shoe right right.
- 1:45:12Some people missed that time where they had about fifteen different guys that had their
- 1:45:15own signature shoe that was branded and sole in the store. And likely this
- 1:45:23is what it is now that there's like, I mean, there's some players
- 1:45:26now, like especial with NBA players that have their own shoe. Like you're
- 1:45:29saying then it was leonn Sanders and Kingerfree Junior had a shoe, Barry Sanders
- 1:45:33had a shoe, But there's aren't those players in other sports outside of basketball
- 1:45:41that have that marketability. Oh, let's go get their shoes. And another
- 1:45:46thing Nike noticed too that they were down in the running part what they originally
- 1:45:51came in like Hoka, am I'm saying that brand correctly, h ok And
- 1:45:56it's another brand that it's taking over the run run that's running and they hit
- 1:46:00like, hold up, we need to get back to the the the drawing
- 1:46:03boy, but the beauty of the golf shoe. Nike with the golf shoe
- 1:46:06they did make a difference even with their shoes because of their technology on knowing
- 1:46:12the shoe and how your feet moved the way it should move. You got
- 1:46:15to give them the innovation on that. They do that with all their sports.
- 1:46:18They they study the athlete's foot and so I would recommend anybody if you're
- 1:46:23gonna get a pair of golf shoes, anything he or any kind of sports
- 1:46:27shoe, Nike really puts that technology in there. Charles Barkley, have any
- 1:46:31of you seen the Charles Barkley and Gail King King Charles Show? Is that
- 1:46:35the name of it? King? Charles? Okay, anybody seen that show?
- 1:46:41I have not watched it. No, sir either. I was.
- 1:46:45I was. I was gonna get an update on it. There was a
- 1:46:49show I didn't know they actually had begun that conspiracy on that with the with
- 1:46:55this show. No please, I'm just saying that. You know, they
- 1:46:59just signed to get Charles off of TNT. Remember they bought Dwayne In said
- 1:47:02he was gonna leave, and I think maybe they've tried to, oh,
- 1:47:04we're gonna give you this show on trying time seeing in with Gail King and
- 1:47:09try to exit Charles out. And I thought that an experiment like that was
- 1:47:14going to be somewhat dangerous in that either Charles will have to water himself down
- 1:47:17or Gail's personality will have to be spiked, of which it still will come
- 1:47:23across as disingenuous to most viewers, which it does. That's what I'm reading.
- 1:47:28But oh, okay, you read because I said you said you didn't
- 1:47:30see it. I didn't see it. I've read. That's what the show
- 1:47:33like right there. It's like sitting in the room with this man. I
- 1:47:38was thinking it might just be two older personalities to take a seventy year old
- 1:47:44person and with Chaw sixty sixty one, that's kind of a that's an old
- 1:47:48combination. Gail seventy, she's like seventy. So she niged out it would
- 1:47:56be back more than Sports Shock Show. Right after this man model to a
- 1:48:00kid looking up to me, life ain't nothing but girls and money because I'm
- 1:48:05the type of brother that's built to laugh. We have some in the present,
- 1:48:09some in the past. Don't go away, or of the Sports Jock
- 1:48:14Show with Wayne Gams. Videos coming up next, and now let's talk about
- 1:48:17something exciting. Life insurance. Three quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a
- 1:48:21critical piece of financial security, Yet only forty nine percent actually have life insurance.
- 1:48:28When I was twenty five, me and my wife were just getting started
- 1:48:30with our family and thought we lived forever life insurance. What's the last thing
- 1:48:33on my mind? What about you? Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:48:36When I was forty, with a kid in college and bills piling up,
- 1:48:40I was worried how my family will survive without me. That's what I'm
- 1:48:43in an appointment with the insurance informant. Information gives you power, and life
- 1:48:45insurance gives your family security no matter what stage of life you're in. Now
- 1:48:49that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I leave my family with bills
- 1:48:54or benefits. The answer is easy. Whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 1:48:57whether you earn a little or a lot, all you need the insurance informat
- 1:49:00to help you build a foundation of security, because without you, your family
- 1:49:04will have two options, benefits or bills? Which legacy will you leave behind?
- 1:49:10Log on today benefits or bills dot com. That's benefits orbills dot com.
- 1:49:16Here's a fun fact for you. The average chameleon can point their eyes
- 1:49:20into different directions. On the other hand, the average human can't, so
- 1:49:27unless you're a chameleon, there's absolutely no way you can focus on texting and
- 1:49:31driving at the same time, so don't do it unless you're a chameleon.

- 1:50:25the school board when we put a spin on life and sports and how they
- 1:50:30intermingle on The Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy. Woke up quick at about
- 1:50:40noon, just stuff that I had to be in Compton soon. I gotta
- 1:50:43get drunk before the day be kids, before my mother starts it about my
- 1:50:47friends about to come and Damni, we'll great to the boy shock shop,
- 1:50:51this spot shock Wayne, Candy, command you. Greg wants all of you
- 1:50:56to know that if you see George Carlisle, is that his name, Carlin
- 1:51:02Carlin doing any comedy special, that's the AI all AI correct, Yes,
- 1:51:09it is, Okay, So it's an AI show out there for George Carlin,
- 1:51:12which is basically how I guess you do. The algorithm and the computer
- 1:51:17would put the joke together that they feel George would tell. And this is
- 1:51:23new material, which has disturbed me greatly. Yeah, what he would say
- 1:51:27about the new thing if he were alive, I write it of what how
- 1:51:29he used to do is comedy, right, and then I take that and
- 1:51:32I plug in the what's going on in the new world, And this is
- 1:51:38how he would have made the joke at My mama called that lion on me.
- 1:51:41Excuse me, my mother calls that lion on me when you say stuff
- 1:51:45that I said that I never really said. I don't understand that. I
- 1:51:48don't understand. And as a comedian, everything we process a lot of now
- 1:51:54is lies. I suppose everything is photoshopped, and I don't do photo shopping.
- 1:52:00I don't do the spray thing on my hairline. I don't, but
- 1:52:05for this particular situation, it's a trigger to me because George Carlin is one
- 1:52:11of the people who inspired me to get into stand up comedy as a child.
- 1:52:15I loved his point of view. I loved how raw and open and
- 1:52:18honest he was. And now they're just speculating based on clips and bits.
- 1:52:25And then I'm sure the AI has been programmed to keep this time's political sensibilities
- 1:52:33intact too, because George Carlin was very political, he was very socially conscious,
- 1:52:40and I'm just wondering how they will do his art justice some decades after
- 1:52:46he has passed away. And then too, I wonder who's getting the money
- 1:52:50for this was it would have to go to the licensing of his family a
- 1:52:56certain part of it. It's like any artists, whatever family would have as
- 1:53:00far as your agreement, Yeah, they probably went to the family. And
- 1:53:05according to a statement from George Carlon's daughter, it doesn't seem like that that
- 1:53:11happened. There was no like they gave their blessing or there was any kind
- 1:53:15of So she's going to sue them. I haven't seen that but it looked
- 1:53:19like she could. The computer was like, you don't want this smoke.
- 1:53:25Well, a lot of people do things knowing they're going to be sued,
- 1:53:28but figure they can profit. Yea, I can make ten meal and pay
- 1:53:31you three. It's worth it. It was worth it. Yeah, I
- 1:53:36mean that. Unfortunately, that's the where we live in that's where we live.
- 1:53:43I expected he was gonna come for some Yeah, so I already said
- 1:53:45that three right. Just what asks for forgiveness later? Excuse me, just
- 1:53:49go ahead and do it. Asks for forgetting, to ask for permission,
- 1:53:53just ask for forgiven? Robin thinking, who was that TI? Yeah?
- 1:53:57Did that song? Big song? They had? Yeah lines and got sued
- 1:54:00by Marvin Gay's family and paid them, paid them and still won a Grammy
- 1:54:04for the song. Baltimore hosting uh No One this weekend. They have a
- 1:54:13bye along with San Francisco, but we do have some games on tap as.
- 1:54:17We called it Super wild Card Weekend. Guys, uh the Rams visiting
- 1:54:24Detroit indoors, Matt Stafford who used to play for the Lions, Jared Goff
- 1:54:31who used to play for the Ram doing pack Yeah ay. The Algorithms Weekend.
- 1:54:44The algorithm put it together. Oh that's how you see it. Yes,
- 1:54:48And I honestly want to see Detroit win that one, do you.
- 1:54:54Yeah, Well, just they struggled for a long time and I got a
- 1:54:59lot of friends is from Detroit and Midwest. Guy, I just kind of
- 1:55:04want to see them get one. I'm going for my Rams, you know,
- 1:55:08of course, from Rams, my first team in that game, Matt
- 1:55:12Stafford and those receivers taking on She'll be a good game. It sets up
- 1:55:16to be the best game of the weekend as far as records and comparable teams
- 1:55:26when you look at it, so Philly and Tampa Bay. That will be
- 1:55:30Monday night. The Philly team of the first ten weeks, you would imagine
- 1:55:36would blow Tampa out. The Philly team of the last six weeks with all
- 1:55:41the injuries and things like that, you don't really know what's going on.
- 1:55:45Tampa Bay just as a gritty team, nothing necessarily special about them. Baker
- 1:55:50Mayfield just making plays when he has to. Won the NFC South barely got
- 1:55:57into the playoffs. The Eagles in that game. It's a lot of injuries,
- 1:56:02so it's a tough game. We will see. I don't know if
- 1:56:06A. J. Brown is he back for this game, I have not
- 1:56:12seen it. And Jalen Hurts had a hurt finger, right, he hurt
- 1:56:15his finger feeling playing feeling. It's hurt. That's all. Green Bay versus
- 1:56:24Dalla. I think the badducer is writing things down thinking I'm gonna give him
- 1:56:27some picks, like we're in Vegas over there. But I'm just going through
- 1:56:30how the games are. Green Bay versus Dallas Dallas. The big thing they
- 1:56:35have for them is they haven't lost the game this year at home, so
- 1:56:41and if Dallas Dallas shows up, you imagine Green Bay we'll be in some
- 1:56:45trouble in this game. Command you, Greg, good luck on Sunday.
- 1:56:50I know your Cowboys are dear to your heart. Buffalo and Pittsburgh. Josh
- 1:56:57Allen hosting Pittsburgh and without t J. Watt. That's the thing. It's
- 1:57:04tough. It's gonna be tough. It's for the one person I need in
- 1:57:10the game in this kind of game to get at the Josh Allen is going
- 1:57:14to be missing. That's no knock on the rest of the defense. They
- 1:57:17do ball out, but making Josh Allen running him down things like that just
- 1:57:25tough for Pittsburgh in this game. Against Buffalo on the road. The weather
- 1:57:30and all that doesn't really matter. This is not a weather game. Okay,
- 1:57:36it's eight degrees. Okay, so it's eight degrees in Pittsburgh too.
- 1:57:41So but without t J. Watts tough sledding Houston and Cleveland would be more
- 1:57:47intriguing if Deshaun Watson was playing, because Deshaun Watson is in Cleveland and he
- 1:57:54used to be in Houston, and now Cleveland is going to Houston to take
- 1:57:59on CJ. Out what you're about to say, Comttion, It was too
- 1:58:01late to change the script l had already been approved. But Cleveland and Houston,
- 1:58:09Joe Flacco in a groove, this should be a good game as well.
- 1:58:15And why is the Shawn Watson not playing again? He had hurt his
- 1:58:18shoulder. It's like a broken moaning his shoulder. And Miami at about four
- 1:58:26degrees in Kansas City, the Chiefs have not played well. But Miami,
- 1:58:30with the temperature and the injuries, you just don't feel like they will be
- 1:58:36able to hold up to the Chiefs up there in that cold weather. I
- 1:58:40think they said something out there and six in any game in freezing temperature of
- 1:58:45the last ten years, so we will see how that works out for them.
- 1:58:47And we are in the ocean. The truth is he will throw your
- 1:58:54in the ocean. It's time to rap things. So on the Sports June
- 1:58:58show, candy for you the Sounds of the Ocean and it gives a soy
- 1:59:08shout just a minute to bit. We'd like to thank you for tuning in

- 2:01:09the double Big macrow. Remember a couple of years ago there was selling
- 2:01:14salads the double four all be pass poor. Yeah, they had a whole
- 2:01:29thing of Big Mac special a couple of years ago. I forgot. It
- 2:01:31was like bacon, a whole different lineup from the Sports Shock Show. Have
- 2:01:40a good Super wild Card weekend. We'll see you in the future. Peace,
