- 0:00Speaker 1: Oh, man, window, look out the window. No more, we
- 0:02Speaker 1: need it. I don't look out the window, but I
- 0:03Speaker 1: need that window.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Actually, it kind of freaks me out every time we
- 0:06Speaker 2: take off what we're doing. When I look outside and
- 0:11Speaker 2: you see how big that plane is, especially if it's
- 0:15Speaker 2: the bigger the plane, the more the thought is, you're
- 0:18Speaker 2: just like when you walk down, you're like, man, this
- 0:21Speaker 2: thing should not be able to remember when I worked
- 0:23Speaker 2: at Boring, we went to the big factory and everywhere
- 0:27Speaker 2: they work make like the seven seventy seven is and
- 0:28Speaker 2: the seven eight seven or seven four to seven. Man,
- 0:31Speaker 2: the engine is like three times you and it's just like,
- 0:35Speaker 2: how we It's so heavy and I get it like
- 0:40Speaker 2: I get it lift and velocity. Trust me, it's it's
- 0:45Speaker 2: a flying cigard to and the things are the alloy
- 0:50Speaker 2: is thin. It's gotta be like to be like, it's freaky.
- 0:55Speaker 1: Man.
- 0:56Speaker 3: Every every flight that I'm on, I look out that
- 0:58Speaker 3: window see us lift off.
- 1:00Speaker 4: I just be like, man, I go away from it.
- 1:03Speaker 2: At any moment, I go away from it because you're
- 1:06Speaker 2: just like and the thing is how quick the stuff
- 1:09Speaker 2: gets small.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 1:11Speaker 2: It's like when cities just look like square, like you
- 1:14Speaker 2: can see rids. We're just looking at grids and in
- 1:18Speaker 2: the car it started looking like you're playing the sims
- 1:20Speaker 2: and then you just can't see anything.
- 1:22Speaker 4: Then you wake up in your brother clouds. You're like,
- 1:24Speaker 4: I'm just.
- 1:24Speaker 3: Like I think about it every flight, every time, every time.
- 1:31Speaker 1: It's never been a flight helicopter.
- 1:34Speaker 2: I would buy it. It's small, it's got the one thing.
- 1:38Speaker 4: It's light. I get it, and it it goes.
- 1:40Speaker 2: Up straight like you can see, oh generating, it's pushing
- 1:43Speaker 2: down helicopter when I flew in.
- 1:46Speaker 4: That doesn't bother me. But plane, you.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Haven't been in a helicopter.
- 1:56Speaker 4: We were in Hawaii. Did the Jurassic Park? Uh, the fly?
- 2:00Speaker 1: Yeah, it's crazy? Is it scary?
- 2:03Speaker 2: Just like, man, this is beautiful. But but Lissa said Aftercobe,
- 2:05Speaker 2: She's like, we're never doing.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Oh kobead doors.
- 2:10Speaker 4: Oh you did the one with the Vietnam it's a
- 2:14Speaker 4: good morning ray cam.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Was your arm hanging out?
- 2:18Speaker 4: Were you strapped in.
- 2:23Speaker 1: What?
- 2:24Speaker 5: Cow?
- 2:25Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 2:25Speaker 4: You people.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Wow, there's no reason you should be in the helicopter,
- 2:31Speaker 2: no doors, with nothing. You should be locked into the
- 2:34Speaker 2: hardest seal me in nah Cam, I can't be in there.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Roll like that.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Lord that's that's the Vietnam extraction.
- 2:44Speaker 4: That's not that's the one song of.
- 2:46Speaker 2: You, my fa favorite part of the movie.
- 2:55Speaker 4: That way, they always get to the ladding. All right, Tucky,
- 2:58Speaker 4: drop your gear here, man, this is probably tie hairs.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Man, he's gonna show you up. Grab some child over there. Man,
- 3:03Speaker 2: we're gonna head off. It's always always chaos.
- 3:06Speaker 4: On the land when they get to the cab.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Yeah, man, grab you some ChIL mate, best lieutenant Dad,
- 3:11Speaker 2: make sure to keep dry, smoot day and be like, man,
- 3:14Speaker 2: y'all don't even have no warm up to the Vietnam
- 3:17Speaker 2: none of it.
- 3:18Speaker 4: They straight to the balls to the wall in man.
- 3:22Speaker 3: I love the smell of napalm in the morning. Yeah,
- 3:38Speaker 3: we out here is the thick of it. Baby, we're
- 3:41Speaker 3: in the thick of it now, baby.
- 3:43Speaker 4: Oh my god.
- 3:44Speaker 2: All right, welcome to the Bar Brothers Podcast with Kep
- 3:47Speaker 2: on stage.
- 3:47Speaker 4: And there we go.
- 3:50Speaker 2: We're doing this podcast because we're friends and we wanted
- 3:52Speaker 2: to do a podcast together. Because you're at work, likely
- 3:56Speaker 2: and you don't want to all right, turn that reform
- 4:00Speaker 2: didn't let it ain't gonna fire.
- 4:01Speaker 4: You quit your job, Quit your job. As long as
- 4:03Speaker 4: you don't quit our patreons.
- 4:06Speaker 1: The money, you get the money, how you get it.
- 4:07Speaker 4: But this podcast is just the reason for us to
- 4:09Speaker 4: talk about movies.
- 4:09Speaker 2: We disguised it with other topics to there's no disguise.
- 4:14Speaker 4: Top ten Black comedies of all time. This is tough,
- 4:20Speaker 4: all right. We gotta narrow and we might have to
- 4:22Speaker 4: argue on this one tone. We might have to argue.
- 4:25Speaker 4: We got to get the strongest list present to other cultures.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Because we're not doing the personal.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Now we're going together, okay, but we gotta If you
- 4:33Speaker 2: feel like keV, this is weak, put this on.
- 4:36Speaker 1: You gotta present to the other cultures.
- 4:37Speaker 2: Oh gotch okay, go go the white people, they're gonna
- 4:40Speaker 2: present their top ten.
- 4:41Speaker 4: We are the delegation for the Blacks.
- 4:43Speaker 2: For the blacks of the top ten comedies. We're stacking
- 4:46Speaker 2: up against the Latino comedies, agent comedies.
- 4:49Speaker 4: Let's get all right, who went first?
- 4:52Speaker 1: Last time? I did you kick it first? Kick it off?
- 4:56Speaker 4: I'm gonna go.
- 4:56Speaker 1: I already know what you're doing.
- 4:58Speaker 4: You know what I'm going with. I'm still coming to it.
- 5:00Speaker 4: I knew it, I knew I knew you. I knew
- 5:04Speaker 4: It's okay.
- 5:05Speaker 1: To know known.
- 5:08Speaker 4: Marshanch Is gonna.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Run the Patriots? Who cares to you know? You still
- 5:11Speaker 2: gotta tackle them? You still run it four times? Man,
- 5:16Speaker 2: this is you know Michael Jordan's getting the shot. They
- 5:19Speaker 2: still passed it.
- 5:21Speaker 4: Who cares?
- 5:21Speaker 1: Coming to America? Is that move?
- 5:24Speaker 4: That movie? Comedy?
- 5:26Speaker 1: Perfect comedy.
- 5:27Speaker 2: The only problem I have with this movie, and it's
- 5:29Speaker 2: not the comedy. The last fifteen to twenty you fade
- 5:34Speaker 2: out by The last thing I remember laughing at and
- 5:37Speaker 2: enjoying is the train if you're really a prince out
- 5:40Speaker 2: Aria after that.
- 5:45Speaker 4: Started over.
- 5:47Speaker 2: I have a lot of comedies fail in the last
- 5:50Speaker 2: most comedies phase resolution. They they don't have them. We
- 5:56Speaker 2: up to the funny games too, they're right wrapping it up.
- 6:02Speaker 2: They'd be like, it's hard, it's hard, it's hard wrapped
- 6:05Speaker 2: jud Avatad does a hard turn. He always goes for
- 6:08Speaker 2: the heart strings for another forty five minutes, which works,
- 6:11Speaker 2: sometimes doesn't work, or what I think happens, there's just
- 6:16Speaker 2: not enough time, like people want to wrap it up
- 6:18Speaker 2: quicklyeah or there wasn't enough story told to make a
- 6:22Speaker 2: worthy wrap up in the third act, you know what
- 6:24Speaker 2: I'm saying. So, but all that being said.
- 6:29Speaker 1: I'm trying to think of what happens in the last
- 6:31Speaker 1: fifteen minutes.
- 6:32Speaker 2: So that's when he's when Amani is like, he's basically
- 6:36Speaker 2: chasing her. He's trying to get back with her because
- 6:40Speaker 2: on the on the train ride, he's trying to get
- 6:41Speaker 2: to her house.
- 6:42Speaker 4: And she's like, no, I don't want to I don't
- 6:44Speaker 4: want to be with you.
- 6:44Speaker 2: It's like that, and then they get married and they
- 6:46Speaker 2: got the wedding scene.
- 6:48Speaker 1: When did they have the issue at the mcdowald house.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Is that in the last.
- 6:51Speaker 2: Fifteen minutes that I believe is probably the last twenty
- 6:55Speaker 2: five I think that's before that.
- 6:58Speaker 4: That's the blow up when she finds out who he
- 7:00Speaker 4: really is.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, because his parents show up.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, But I'm trying to think of when that
- 7:06Speaker 2: moment you feel like it ran out.
- 7:09Speaker 1: I gotta look at it. I gotta look at coming
- 7:11Speaker 1: to the more.
- 7:11Speaker 4: The thing is no joke.
- 7:13Speaker 2: After that training scene, I haven't watched the rest of
- 7:16Speaker 2: the movie because I just was after a couple of times,
- 7:20Speaker 2: I was like, man, I don't really like nothing else
- 7:23Speaker 2: that happens, and I really like everything that happens up until.
- 7:26Speaker 1: That point of course.
- 7:27Speaker 2: So but anyway, still I'm not hard when I'm coming
- 7:29Speaker 2: to America. I feel like it's a flawless addition to
- 7:34Speaker 2: black cinema. It's got a great story for me, like
- 7:40Speaker 2: simple stories.
- 7:41Speaker 3: Story is simple. The characters are super likable. It's mad
- 7:45Speaker 3: likable characters. The quotables, the quotables are all the chain.
- 7:50Speaker 3: Just it's just it's perfect.
- 7:52Speaker 2: That might be my gun to my head. You have
- 7:54Speaker 2: to quote the most of any movie in the world,
- 7:57Speaker 2: probably like that. The barbershop sequence is yeah, Randy.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Every time we bring out by it right out loud,
- 8:07Speaker 1: so funny.
- 8:08Speaker 3: The movie I'm picking is probably can go toe to
- 8:11Speaker 3: toe on quotables.
- 8:12Speaker 4: Really yeah, really.
- 8:15Speaker 1: My first pick to is Friday. Down there. The whole
- 8:20Speaker 1: movie is quotables. Friday has to be on.
- 8:24Speaker 4: Friday nails the resolution it does.
- 8:26Speaker 1: The resolution is firing.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Friday nails it because you know you got the money stuff.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:34Speaker 4: But Craig and Dee Bowl has been building.
- 8:37Speaker 1: That's a great ending too.
- 8:39Speaker 3: I remember when I first saw Friday, I was at
- 8:41Speaker 3: a movie theater in Amarillo, Texas because it wasn't playing
- 8:44Speaker 3: in close. I was in close, New Mexico at the times.
- 8:46Speaker 3: We went to Amarillo, and when that scene came up,
- 8:50Speaker 3: he pulled the gun and he shot it.
- 8:52Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 8:53Speaker 3: I was like, oh, this movie just took a turn dark.
- 9:00Speaker 3: We just got Hood real quick. And this is at
- 9:02Speaker 3: the time when Hood movies was thick. It's all just like,
- 9:06Speaker 3: oh we we had to have this.
- 9:08Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:09Speaker 3: I was just like, damn. And then the switches it
- 9:12Speaker 3: was just him imagining that.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Oh my god. And then the fight was exciting.
- 9:18Speaker 4: And the pop pops lesson Yeah, win something you lose.
- 9:22Speaker 2: Here's the thing where I think Coming to America work,
- 9:24Speaker 2: but I do agree on quotables. Yeah, but the set
- 9:27Speaker 2: pieces in Coming to America was just like, man, the
- 9:31Speaker 2: whole all the barber shop scenes, Eddie our Sineo, even Clyde,
- 9:38Speaker 2: the other black dude, was just like, remind me of
- 9:41Speaker 2: the other dude in Harlem Knights who just shot the
- 9:43Speaker 2: gun the other barber. It wasn't Eddie or he was funny,
- 9:48Speaker 2: they were, but Brandy Watson. I remember being like the
- 9:51Speaker 2: first time I saw that, I was like, man, this
- 9:54Speaker 2: is just.
- 9:55Speaker 4: I was like, play so beautiful, don't you agree? Like
- 9:58Speaker 4: I was just like, it's just.
- 10:06Speaker 2: And I like even when in that song when they
- 10:09Speaker 2: go to the the other people and Randie's quiet.
- 10:13Speaker 4: It's still funny. He's staying on the low end, make
- 10:19Speaker 4: them easier. The way he was doing it, the way
- 10:22Speaker 4: he dropped the marcat.
- 10:23Speaker 3: Was like it was so it was so dramatic, random,
- 10:28Speaker 3: so much happening in that scene.
- 10:30Speaker 2: The dude put the chicken ball, Why would that be
- 10:33Speaker 2: the trash?
- 10:35Speaker 4: I thought that was a trash.
- 10:37Speaker 3: And and and them playing multiple characters was so seamless.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Or Eddie, it was so seamless.
- 10:45Speaker 2: And I loved that at that time my life. It
- 10:47Speaker 2: was Martin was doing all like for me. I didn't
- 10:50Speaker 2: watch Them to America when it first came out. I
- 10:52Speaker 2: watched it on the like later sold And when did
- 10:56Speaker 2: you first see Coming to America? Funny thing about it,
- 10:58Speaker 2: So I don't remember not not seeing it. I just
- 11:02Speaker 2: know it came out with eighty eight or eighty eight
- 11:04Speaker 2: eighty eight.
- 11:05Speaker 4: I know we didn't go to the.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Theaters and watch it, Okay, definitely, I mean at that
- 11:09Speaker 2: time I was going in theaters, was not.
- 11:11Speaker 4: We didn't go all the time.
- 11:14Speaker 3: Yeah, for sure, we're not gonna put our butts and
- 11:16Speaker 3: he's dirty secular seat.
- 11:18Speaker 4: We're gonna just watch the exact movie. Jesus would be here.
- 11:21Speaker 1: We're not gonna be there.
- 11:23Speaker 4: What's the same movie at home?
- 11:25Speaker 1: Though?
- 11:25Speaker 4: And it's totally fun. I ever tell you what end
- 11:27Speaker 4: up happening.
- 11:27Speaker 2: Why my family believe that My pastor said it was
- 11:30Speaker 2: a sin, just my personal pastor. Yeah, so I thought
- 11:33Speaker 2: it was a for all Christians. When I was older,
- 11:36Speaker 2: I asked my grandma what he was like. She was like, oh, yeah,
- 11:38Speaker 2: his son was having sex and movie theaters and I
- 11:41Speaker 2: was like, so so we all that became a because
- 11:46Speaker 2: we was on I just want to watch the Lion
- 11:48Speaker 2: King and stuff like I don't. I don't want to
- 11:49Speaker 2: watch sex movies. It was like everything our movies inherently, Yeah, theaters.
- 11:55Speaker 6: And seats you're sitting in watching your Lion King. And
- 11:58Speaker 6: then I went and had sex and MOVI you know,
- 12:01Speaker 6: comes back. But Noah, I think.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Even when uh, when the Key was talking about the
- 12:12Speaker 2: football game, they kicked an oblong ball through a giant age.
- 12:15Speaker 4: It was most exhilarator like.
- 12:18Speaker 2: And Sam Jackson was in there already he was he
- 12:21Speaker 2: was he was already old, no.
- 12:23Speaker 3: No nonsense from from jump you disease right now, pizzle pizzle.
- 12:30Speaker 3: I wanted to be the landlord so bad that's not
- 12:32Speaker 3: the character I want to play.
- 12:35Speaker 5: Man.
- 12:35Speaker 1: I wanted that role.
- 12:39Speaker 3: Falling down the stairs, crap on me, your wrints do?
- 12:46Speaker 3: I felt that in my soul because if you owe
- 12:49Speaker 3: me Rent and I say you falling down the stairs,
- 12:52Speaker 3: I'm not gonna show no compassion. I'm like your wrints due,
- 12:56Speaker 3: don't pull that falling down stairs. He was like, he's like, man.
- 13:04Speaker 4: And I love. When they traded apartments with him, Oh man,
- 13:08Speaker 4: it was like, this is really not he was living
- 13:11Speaker 4: in there.
- 13:11Speaker 1: He was in the Jacuzi art man. Well, he dropped
- 13:16Speaker 1: him off. He boys from Africa used to that like.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Super racist, now super super It hurt us growing up
- 13:28Speaker 2: in America with no concept of Africa fan.
- 13:31Speaker 4: The movie did not help.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 13:33Speaker 3: When they had on all their wares outside in the community,
- 13:37Speaker 3: that was so funny to me. They were just out there.
- 13:39Speaker 3: They had the first coats on the necklaces.
- 13:41Speaker 4: On the necklaces were big boxes.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Of gold with chilling out there. I was like, this
- 13:47Speaker 1: is hilarious.
- 13:49Speaker 4: Oh he had nothing but the entrepreneur nigga nice gotta
- 13:55Speaker 4: be eight dollars.
- 13:58Speaker 1: I mean, bro, yeah, those two, those two movies right there.
- 14:03Speaker 4: Go to other cultures. Are going to have a hard time,
- 14:06Speaker 4: all right. Number three, I'm gonna jump out with Life.
- 14:10Speaker 1: I like Life.
- 14:11Speaker 2: I'm staying with Eddie Murphy, really proud of Martin. Man
- 14:16Speaker 2: Martin was the perfect I'm sad they didn't do nothing
- 14:19Speaker 2: else together together after that boomerang in Life, but Man
- 14:24Speaker 2: Martin was great. Eddie was in rare form in life.
- 14:30Speaker 2: Life is a more tragic like actual story. Story are
- 14:34Speaker 2: telling super sad and the other resolution in life too, they.
- 14:38Speaker 3: Did, But the comedy in life, that's that's Eddie Murphy's
- 14:43Speaker 3: to me. That's my second favorite. Eddie Murphy coming to
- 14:46Speaker 3: America in life. Yes, Life is number two. Life has
- 14:50Speaker 3: slowly climbed up year after for me too. And every
- 14:54Speaker 3: time I watched Life, I'll be dying like I've never seen.
- 14:57Speaker 2: It, dying like I never seen it holds up partly
- 15:01Speaker 2: because of the period piece.
- 15:02Speaker 3: The ending is strong. Ray said, when they get old,
- 15:06Speaker 3: it gets even funnier.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Than all they went to and again we said, the
- 15:11Speaker 2: third act is tough. Martin old with the toe in the.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Oh my god, this got a toe in the bottle.
- 15:18Speaker 3: And I love the fact that Martin was the straight man,
- 15:21Speaker 3: the cranky man.
- 15:22Speaker 1: All the way up. But then when when they.
- 15:25Speaker 3: Got old, Eddie's now cranky and Martin was hilariously loose,
- 15:31Speaker 3: and I was just mart Man.
- 15:34Speaker 4: The pot was too hot hot.
- 15:38Speaker 3: That argument they have in the bedroom. Just about to
- 15:42Speaker 3: say that that scene is perfect. I know it word
- 15:45Speaker 3: for word, though, He's like, what you're looking at?
- 15:48Speaker 1: Ray?
- 15:49Speaker 4: Just what the fuck you looking at? Ray? I noticed you?
- 15:54Speaker 1: And uh, just keep going.
- 15:58Speaker 3: Not a friend and lady man. What y'all want to
- 16:01Speaker 3: be a couple or something? Y'all got brewing? When I
- 16:03Speaker 3: got brewing?
- 16:04Speaker 1: What I got brewing?
- 16:05Speaker 4: Ray? You tell me.
- 16:10Speaker 3: I got a ass whooping from brewing for you? Ray,
- 16:12Speaker 3: you don't quit fucking me. He just an old man.
- 16:15Speaker 1: I like to talk.
- 16:16Speaker 3: That's all that is. That's all that Oh here, old
- 16:19Speaker 3: man like to talk. Well, I'm a old man. I
- 16:21Speaker 3: like to talk to What you.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Wanna talk about?
- 16:23Speaker 3: What you want to talk about, Ray, I'm wanna talk
- 16:25Speaker 3: about the plan you've been working on.
- 16:29Speaker 1: I know you, Nick, I know you got something he
- 16:35Speaker 1: was looking at. I know you need.
- 16:40Speaker 3: He was like, kiss my ass right? Want you just
- 16:42Speaker 3: go to sleep, man, I'm gonna go to sleep. I'm
- 16:44Speaker 3: gonna go to sleep. I'm gonna go to sleep, and
- 16:48Speaker 3: he was like, you pissed the bill that week, ass batter, Yo,
- 16:52Speaker 3: what if I do? If I do, then I'm gonna
- 16:54Speaker 3: put the sheets on you. And you can see Martin crack.
- 16:57Speaker 3: You can see him cracking that bro, I wanna put
- 16:59Speaker 3: the sheets on.
- 17:01Speaker 1: He's like, tight, n cut the light off.
- 17:05Speaker 5: That scene is perfect, My god, I love the scene.
- 17:11Speaker 2: I want to actually recreate this with you. We talked
- 17:13Speaker 2: about doing for the ball when they try to get
- 17:16Speaker 2: the whites only pie and Eddie is Martin's not assessing
- 17:20Speaker 2: the situation.
- 17:21Speaker 4: No, I know.
- 17:22Speaker 2: I washed it back again. I'm like Martin never looks around.
- 17:26Speaker 2: He's like, I want the pie.
- 17:27Speaker 1: I want the pie.
- 17:28Speaker 4: Man, I got to do all this for some damn pie. Ma'am.
- 17:33Speaker 1: We want to get Billy.
- 17:35Speaker 2: We want my name, he says on your shirt.
- 17:40Speaker 4: Oh y'all, boy can read so good? Did you see
- 17:43Speaker 4: side colors?
- 17:46Speaker 1: The casting of that white woman was perfect because.
- 17:50Speaker 4: She was my Marge.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Marge, you ain't read that sign over there, like, oh.
- 17:59Speaker 3: Okay, taking to these whites only pie.
- 18:03Speaker 1: How about I tear y'all in the nigga pie?
- 18:06Speaker 3: So you say was still pissed.
- 18:09Speaker 2: Bro Eddie snuck in a little joke in that scene.
- 18:14Speaker 2: It was about the recipe or something.
- 18:15Speaker 4: He was like, why would she know that he's snucking
- 18:19Speaker 4: in on the cools. Eddie was looking around.
- 18:21Speaker 2: He's like, I don't think we know, man, I'm hungry, man.
- 18:25Speaker 3: I know y'all was a serious about your pies. That
- 18:32Speaker 3: movie is so good.
- 18:33Speaker 4: Uh And we only talked about Eddie and Martin. When
- 18:38Speaker 4: they get to the jail.
- 18:39Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 18:41Speaker 2: They had every great black comedian all but they had
- 18:47Speaker 2: Joe Tory got to I'm sorry, got Tori.
- 18:51Speaker 5: And and and he baby Anthony. They had Bernie, Bernie
- 18:57Speaker 5: mac they had Miguel Nuna Junior man, Bernie matt As
- 19:04Speaker 5: Jangle lag oh man, how many times?
- 19:06Speaker 4: How long we.
- 19:10Speaker 2: Years?
- 19:13Speaker 1: And it was like the scene, the scene.
- 19:16Speaker 3: That's perfection to me as far as a comedic ensemble.
- 19:20Speaker 3: One scene is fired when you know Eddie Murphy is
- 19:23Speaker 3: reading the letter to one of the inmates, just like who.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Else want we reading now?
- 19:29Speaker 3: But the scene that's perfection is when everybody's revealing what
- 19:32Speaker 3: everybody did to get put in jail, and it's going
- 19:36Speaker 3: back and forth. It's just like you the one made
- 19:38Speaker 3: a jacket out of him. I'm the one and that
- 19:41Speaker 3: which one of you niggas killed Santa Claus. Well, I wouldn't,
- 19:44Speaker 3: Santa Claus. It was he was just wearing the suit
- 19:46Speaker 3: and ringing the bell. It was just like boom boom,
- 19:48Speaker 3: boom boom. Every day he was just bringing the bed.
- 19:54Speaker 3: So it was just perfection, a comedic.
- 19:58Speaker 4: And that and one of my favorite just feel good
- 20:01Speaker 4: scenes and Martin ruins it is the boom boom room.
- 20:04Speaker 1: When they think about that boom.
- 20:05Speaker 3: Boom room and the heavn's just like, tell me about
- 20:09Speaker 3: that boom boom. Yeah.
- 20:11Speaker 1: Oh man, man, you.
- 20:12Speaker 4: Know what I'm saying. You gonna have gambling there.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Oh you knew, just for you. I made that steak
- 20:17Speaker 1: just for you. Cookie. Martin shows up like go get get.
- 20:23Speaker 4: Us, yardbird boy.
- 20:27Speaker 2: Martin shut up trying to hear all man, man, you
- 20:30Speaker 2: shut up, man, you.
- 20:31Speaker 4: Talk about the boom boom room. Man, it was so
- 20:36Speaker 4: so good.
- 20:37Speaker 2: The story is good, but the just funny wise this
- 20:41Speaker 2: I say this all the time when they was we
- 20:43Speaker 2: can't get right. They got him to play baseball and
- 20:46Speaker 2: the white you took the dreams like he walked.
- 20:47Speaker 4: Off spool with my drink and it did walk. He
- 20:50Speaker 4: noticed it.
- 20:50Speaker 1: He was like he won't gonna smool my drink man.
- 20:54Speaker 4: We was trying to all ge out of jail, like
- 20:55Speaker 4: we can get him, you know what.
- 20:59Speaker 2: A dog?
- 21:00Speaker 4: So good? All right, so you're up.
- 21:03Speaker 3: Okay, number four, number four, I'm putting in Uh, I'm putting.
- 21:12Speaker 1: House party in there. Okay, I'm putting house party.
- 21:16Speaker 4: How many alone?
- 21:17Speaker 1: Yep? Okay, house party. I watched that now, still laugh.
- 21:23Speaker 4: You're talk about the one with.
- 21:25Speaker 1: Original Robin Hell No, I didn't know.
- 21:29Speaker 3: I just want to make sure absolutely now nineteen ninety

- 21:45Speaker 4: Show Robin Robin Harris Man when.
- 21:49Speaker 3: He got to the party and started roasting them up
- 21:51Speaker 3: in that party. Oh, I should have known.
- 21:53Speaker 1: You was here.
- 21:54Speaker 3: I've seen you're dripping from the driveway. Ain't had no
- 21:57Speaker 3: problem family follow That was a J.
- 22:00Speaker 1: Johnson. He was roasted. Yeah, yeah, the curl. That was
- 22:04Speaker 1: AJ Johnson.
- 22:06Speaker 2: Oh, house saw that movie, man perfect, That whole movie is.
- 22:12Speaker 4: He just wants to sneak out and go to He.
- 22:13Speaker 3: Just wants to go to the party. He got in
- 22:14Speaker 3: trouble for fighting his school. It wasn't his fault. The
- 22:17Speaker 3: bullies was on the bullies is still on them all throughout. Yeah.
- 22:22Speaker 3: I don't know why these old ass niggas is in
- 22:24Speaker 3: high school. First of all, I don't know what They.
- 22:27Speaker 2: Thirty five years old playing football for the University of
- 22:30Speaker 2: Miami and they' supposed to be sixteen seventeen and we
- 22:34Speaker 2: were just like right, sure.
- 22:36Speaker 4: But only thing worse than that is the people in Greece.
- 22:38Speaker 1: Oh yeah, Greece. They were.
- 22:40Speaker 2: I said, this is a woman is forty eight years old.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Nobody's young but Rizzo.
- 22:45Speaker 3: Rizzo, Oh my god, all up in there. He's a
- 22:49Speaker 3: lunch lady, Like, what is happening here?
- 22:51Speaker 4: You're dropping out, ma'am. Forty eight years old?
- 22:56Speaker 1: Locked on crack.
- 22:57Speaker 2: That white woman was forty eight, she was she was
- 23:00Speaker 2: old house. No, no, no, nothing from me. I'm gonna
- 23:04Speaker 2: throw this in. I know how you feel. But for me,
- 23:07Speaker 2: this was my favorite movie for a long time, little
- 23:10Speaker 2: parody film called I'm Gonna Get You Sucker.
- 23:12Speaker 1: Oh, yes, well, I love welcome.
- 23:16Speaker 4: I'm Gonna Get Your suck. Yes, that movie.
- 23:20Speaker 1: Let's get it, the Let's get it.
- 23:23Speaker 4: There's so many funny things. Chris Chris rocks. One rib,
- 23:28Speaker 4: one on the ribs. That scene is so long, so
- 23:32Speaker 4: short because he's like the fribs. His face was one rib.
- 23:45Speaker 4: How much for the soda dollar?
- 23:47Speaker 1: Just my hand, pour it in my hand for a dime?
- 23:52Speaker 2: You get your man pulled out when he put out
- 23:55Speaker 2: the water watery. I I thought that that was comedy personified.
- 24:02Speaker 3: That was my intro to Chris Rock Me Too, You
- 24:04Speaker 3: Got changed one. Even though he was in Beverly Hills
- 24:08Speaker 3: cop to as a valet. I didn't remember him from that,
- 24:12Speaker 3: but I remember him and I'm wanna get you because
- 24:16Speaker 3: the faces he was making and while he was talking. Man,
- 24:18Speaker 3: it was so funny to me.
- 24:20Speaker 2: One rib because hammer and Slammer they had no customers
- 24:25Speaker 2: pissed off.
- 24:26Speaker 4: You want one slice of a rock?
- 24:28Speaker 1: Was always funny about that scene.
- 24:30Speaker 3: Though they give him a big ass bag or something,
- 24:34Speaker 3: he leaves there with a big ass bag, Like what
- 24:37Speaker 3: what did he put in that bag?
- 24:39Speaker 1: He left with a big ass bag dog.
- 24:42Speaker 2: The scene where kenan Ivy Wayns is with the light
- 24:44Speaker 2: skinned girl and nothing is real, My eyes aren't really
- 24:49Speaker 2: green and she took the button off, she.
- 24:51Speaker 3: Took a booty of titties was all once she took
- 24:54Speaker 3: that leg off, and she.
- 24:57Speaker 1: Had the leg.
- 25:00Speaker 2: And the sound effects they had her when the butt
- 25:04Speaker 2: hit the groundles are pink Tony.
- 25:07Speaker 3: The way he kicked off the wig when she threw
- 25:09Speaker 3: it on me. He kicked the wig off like it
- 25:15Speaker 3: was a creature.
- 25:19Speaker 4: And she had that little piece with the bread.
- 25:22Speaker 1: The little girl she was hopping over to home.
- 25:26Speaker 2: I used to watch that at my Sady's house every
- 25:29Speaker 2: single day. Man, when when Jim Brown's told.
- 25:32Speaker 3: Got you've been that stiff my bunny, the last shout
- 25:37Speaker 3: of it looked like it was about the diden.
- 25:38Speaker 2: They it was like, and damon Wayne's him and Kadem Harrison,
- 25:44Speaker 2: Oh my god, that's a little hinchman. When when the
- 25:46Speaker 2: girl gets her period, which was the first time I
- 25:48Speaker 2: ever heard of that, so it like scarred me a little.
- 25:50Speaker 3: Crash and he started screaming, Hags.
- 25:55Speaker 4: I wasn't screaming. I was whistling. I was whistling.
- 26:00Speaker 3: Those two as the thugs was mad funny than me.
- 26:04Speaker 1: Thog he was like you always and they take the sticks.
- 26:10Speaker 3: That time when Bernie Casey was coming down the rope
- 26:14Speaker 3: with the dynamite and it blew up before he got
- 26:16Speaker 3: this death. That was applied twist. I did not see coming.
- 26:21Speaker 3: He was repelling down there, the music going in there by.
- 26:27Speaker 4: You just don't expect that to happen. He blew up.
- 26:30Speaker 4: Oh my god, man.
- 26:32Speaker 1: I'm gonna get you suckers fire.
- 26:34Speaker 4: I love that movie.
- 26:35Speaker 2: The underrated scene is the black dude, the super black
- 26:40Speaker 2: dude with the white girl.
- 26:41Speaker 1: My white.
- 26:44Speaker 4: Let's do it. They had bean soa. He's like, but sir,
- 26:47Speaker 4: I just can't do it right?
- 26:49Speaker 1: You like, yes, yes, well it was like we went
- 26:56Speaker 1: in there with.
- 26:57Speaker 3: Guns, came out with jobs. Williams the third oh yes, yes, wow.
- 27:09Speaker 1: You see.
- 27:11Speaker 2: I wanted to make parody movies forever because I just thought,
- 27:15Speaker 2: I'm gonna get you suck and I never The funny
- 27:17Speaker 2: thing about that movie is I didn't grow up watching
- 27:19Speaker 2: black supportation films, so I didn't even know they were
- 27:22Speaker 2: parroting the genre.
- 27:25Speaker 1: Never solve it because it's funny on its own themes.
- 27:28Speaker 2: I found that out later in the documentary. Because I
- 27:31Speaker 2: was born in eighty three, the movies were like seventies
- 27:34Speaker 2: Dola my, that was a, you know, very important part
- 27:37Speaker 2: of our culture. But I didn't watch any of those.
- 27:40Speaker 2: I just thought that was I didn't know none of
- 27:42Speaker 2: the tropes.
- 27:42Speaker 1: I was just like, man, they together had their own
- 27:46Speaker 1: theme music. It was just it was perfect. That made
- 27:53Speaker 1: me laugh so hard when I first saw the job.
- 27:55Speaker 4: I love it.
- 27:55Speaker 2: I want the Ways to get they deserve a documentary
- 27:58Speaker 2: for their contributions to hundred percent black comedy, period, but
- 28:02Speaker 2: especially black.
- 28:03Speaker 3: It would be a fire documentary because it's so deep
- 28:06Speaker 3: into comedy streets from working with Eddie Murphy and all
- 28:09Speaker 3: this other stuff and then coming through I'm gonna get
- 28:11Speaker 3: you sucking to the living color, to the post.
- 28:13Speaker 1: That is man, it's so thick.
- 28:17Speaker 4: Just I want to make it so thick.
- 28:19Speaker 2: I don't know how to make documentaries though, and I
- 28:21Speaker 2: feel like all the comics would know. One would turn
- 28:25Speaker 2: you down if you got an email like, hey, we're
- 28:27Speaker 2: doing a documentary on the Waynes family, you should make this.
- 28:31Speaker 2: I don't know how to make documentary. We can find out,
- 28:33Speaker 2: there's a certain like it's a skin.
- 28:36Speaker 1: We know enough people the way we can get this
- 28:38Speaker 1: documentary made.
- 28:39Speaker 4: We probably do. And I want to do it while
- 28:41Speaker 4: they're alive.
- 28:42Speaker 1: Yeah, we got to do it now.
- 28:43Speaker 4: Because Kenyan is like sixty seven.
- 28:45Speaker 1: He is in the sixties for sure.
- 28:47Speaker 4: He looks it looks.
- 28:48Speaker 1: I feel like he's gonna be here for a long time.
- 28:49Speaker 4: Yeah, me too. Their family was living long.
- 28:51Speaker 2: But damon Marlin, like I was watching I'm More Money,
- 28:56Speaker 2: I was watching that early.
- 28:58Speaker 4: I don't remember not knowing.
- 28:59Speaker 1: That ninety two. That was ninety two movie, that was nine.
- 29:03Speaker 4: I was all in on the wings from jumping on.
- 29:06Speaker 1: I couldn't get enough.
- 29:07Speaker 2: I thought it was so funny with Mind put his
- 29:08Speaker 2: leg up and you had to watch on his leg I.
- 29:10Speaker 3: Said, how does he get his leg up like he
- 29:13Speaker 3: was like nineteen?
- 29:14Speaker 1: Yeah, he was young, baby, when he was fresh in
- 29:17Speaker 1: the game. All Right, you're up in that same vein.
- 29:21Speaker 3: We're still in the keenan ivory because he helped right
- 29:25Speaker 3: this as well.
- 29:26Speaker 1: Hollywood Shuffle.
- 29:27Speaker 4: I love it.
- 29:27Speaker 2: I feel like this movie doesn't get talked about it It doesn't.
- 29:30Speaker 3: Hollywood Shuffle is, pound for pound, one of the funniest
- 29:33Speaker 3: movies breathing, and it's so relevant even even to this day.
- 29:38Speaker 3: To this day, when you when you're in the in
- 29:41Speaker 3: the Hollywood Shuffle, you're like, yo, this is this is
- 29:44Speaker 3: dead on and so and so. Now you know, back
- 29:46Speaker 3: then it was like pimps and drug dealers that now
- 29:49Speaker 3: would be like wearing a dress.
- 29:50Speaker 1: So that would be the so.
- 29:52Speaker 3: But Hollywood Shuffle makes so many points. But it's so
- 29:56Speaker 3: funny though, funny man from top to bottom, the slavery
- 30:00Speaker 3: sketches and the sneaking into movies and all that, and
- 30:04Speaker 3: the and the cookie Head Jenkins, the murder mystery. So
- 30:08Speaker 3: funny topped bottom with a great message, a great story.
- 30:11Speaker 3: Independent filmmaking at its finest. Hollywood Shoffle was one of
- 30:15Speaker 3: the funniest movies when we don't.
- 30:18Speaker 1: You got John Witherspoon.
- 30:19Speaker 3: In there, you got keenan Ivery Wins in there, you
- 30:22Speaker 3: got Robert Townsend doing this thing.
- 30:24Speaker 1: Damon Wayans is in there. Yeah. So you just see
- 30:28Speaker 1: all of this just just building.
- 30:30Speaker 2: And he was saying that that it was like born
- 30:33Speaker 2: out of his experience at the moment. Right he was like,
- 30:38Speaker 2: I'm auditioning, I'm getting this stuff, either not getting the
- 30:41Speaker 2: rolls or getting them in there like this, and he
- 30:43Speaker 2: was like, man, I'm gonna make this.
- 30:45Speaker 1: I'm gonna make this movie.
- 30:46Speaker 2: And the fact that they could play updated right now,
- 30:49Speaker 2: you could play you could make that movie.
- 30:51Speaker 1: Absolutely all right.
- 30:52Speaker 4: Now, Okay, now here's what it's gonna get tough.
- 30:57Speaker 3: It's hard coming up. I think it's a snap. It's
- 31:00Speaker 3: been playing all the whole time.
- 31:02Speaker 2: I'm trying to so let me ask you, does Major
- 31:05Speaker 2: Pain count as a black comedy?
- 31:07Speaker 1: I don't think so. Why I don't consider it a
- 31:09Speaker 1: black movie?
- 31:11Speaker 4: Why?
- 31:11Speaker 1: Though?
- 31:11Speaker 4: What makes a black movie a black movie?
- 31:18Speaker 1: The cast is predominantly black?
- 31:21Speaker 4: Which major?
- 31:21Speaker 2: Which major is the only is the main white dude
- 31:25Speaker 2: in like two maybe three cadets are not black? Because
- 31:30Speaker 2: there was a main the older one. I can't think
- 31:32Speaker 2: of his character name. He was the main one. There
- 31:35Speaker 2: was another one. I think there was only two white
- 31:37Speaker 2: kids in there. Vam Bam Bigelo's in there, but he's
- 31:40Speaker 2: a cameo.
- 31:42Speaker 3: I mean, if you say it's a black movie, I
- 31:45Speaker 3: won't be disgruntled. But it doesn't feel like a black
- 31:49Speaker 3: movie because it just it just happened. It doesn't and
- 31:55Speaker 3: it just happens to have a black lead.
- 32:00Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 32:01Speaker 1: I don't know either.
- 32:03Speaker 4: There's way more white people. There's all kind of white
- 32:05Speaker 4: kids in there. Oh okay, it's like five of them. Okay,
- 32:12Speaker 4: so we can't have it.
- 32:13Speaker 3: I don't consider it a black film, all right, but
- 32:19Speaker 3: I could be mistaken, you know.
- 32:21Speaker 1: I don't know how.
- 32:24Speaker 3: Because I because I asked my viewers about Major Pain
- 32:29Speaker 3: before and they said they didn't really consider that a
- 32:30Speaker 3: black movie.
- 32:33Speaker 2: It does fit the type of movie that was coming
- 32:35Speaker 2: out during that time, for sure, you know what I'm saying.
- 32:37Speaker 2: Like Little Giants, it was like they made a lot
- 32:40Speaker 2: of movies, so they just stopped making that those movies.
- 32:43Speaker 4: I think it's I blamed Toy Story.
- 32:45Speaker 1: This is my because Toy Story came out. The cartoons like.
- 32:49Speaker 4: They was like, and I don't know why, because animated
- 32:52Speaker 4: is way more fun.
- 32:52Speaker 2: But we had from the Goonies to Little Giants and
- 32:56Speaker 2: all those kind of kids movies.
- 32:58Speaker 4: They just were like, all right, we don't do that with.
- 33:00Speaker 3: The kids in the adults unless the kids gonna be
- 33:02Speaker 3: cussing exactly.
- 33:04Speaker 2: Okay, let me sink because that was gonna be one
- 33:07Speaker 2: of mine. Let me put it off to the side.
- 33:08Speaker 2: From my personal list, I really enjoy Don't Be a Menace. Okay,
- 33:18Speaker 2: Love Don't Be a Menaced. I did grow up watching
- 33:22Speaker 2: those movies, so I had seen Boys in the Hood, uh,
- 33:28Speaker 2: the Woman Kane, New Jackson, Society, New jack I saw
- 33:33Speaker 2: all though, so you you knew what they were.
- 33:35Speaker 4: So now I'm like, okay, you're getting every joke now,
- 33:38Speaker 4: Oh my god.
- 33:40Speaker 2: And Marlon, Wayne's Martin and Sean just they made a
- 33:44Speaker 2: lot of funny movies to me, which makes me wonder
- 33:46Speaker 2: just white chicks a black movie?
- 33:48Speaker 4: No, but Don't Be a Minaces? What's the difference.
- 33:53Speaker 3: It's the same people, because Don't Be a Menace is
- 33:55Speaker 3: specifically targeting black movies, okay, and it is a black
- 34:00Speaker 3: movie targeting black movie, so it's ultra.
- 34:02Speaker 4: Black okay, okay, but Don't Be a Minutes? I thought had.
- 34:09Speaker 1: It was just I can't so many laughs in this movie.
- 34:12Speaker 2: It's just Martin's face. His hair looked off, his hair
- 34:16Speaker 2: when he had to missile.
- 34:18Speaker 4: Do we had a problem?
- 34:23Speaker 1: I mean, And the ensemble is great.
- 34:25Speaker 3: Man Darryl Heath is ice pick pick Chrispin says, super
- 34:30Speaker 3: woke dude.
- 34:31Speaker 1: The lights white?
- 34:32Speaker 2: Excuse me, geok back, you took that white girl right there.
- 34:36Speaker 3: I love the way his sons man like, oh man,
- 34:40Speaker 3: y'all ain't.
- 34:40Speaker 4: Never looked at no money in the shop.
- 34:42Speaker 1: Just me.
- 34:43Speaker 4: He's in Black Dynamo Militant, the Militants walking walk.
- 34:49Speaker 1: That's him. Daryl Heath, he was on death jail. Hilarious day.
- 34:54Speaker 3: And Bernie mag Another scene steal for him is that
- 34:58Speaker 3: the racist cop. He's it's great hat with the gold
- 35:02Speaker 3: bird's lips. I hate the black the back of the
- 35:05Speaker 3: forth neck. No, why he do the extra dump. It's
- 35:11Speaker 3: so funny when they go to the hospital and they're

- 49:14Speaker 3: This is a lot for me because I already we
- 49:17Speaker 3: already got pudding, we already got bananas, we already got cream.
- 49:22Speaker 3: Now we need whole wafers decorate the alice.
- 49:26Speaker 1: You need some structure, crumbs you can.
- 49:30Speaker 3: I'm fine with the crumb wafers, just the whole wafer.
- 49:33Speaker 2: What else is vanilla wafer's gonna be if they're not

- 51:48Speaker 2: you was hungry, now eat it. He made me eat
- 51:51Speaker 2: that whole banana and that was the last and I
- 51:55Speaker 2: was just like, I don't want to. Why are you
- 51:56Speaker 2: punishing me for being hung We've been in the car

- 59:53Speaker 2: gonna be on there. I'm not living for you absolutely,
- 59:56Speaker 2: I'm gonna tell you what, no whipped cream. It's my
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: whole October through the end of the year. If I
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: couldn't have punkin pie, I would be delirious. Because the
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: rest of my deserts are year round. I'm not eating
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: pumpkin pie until October first. But it's part of the
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: changing of the seasons. It's like eggnog Christmas time, like,
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: outside of that season it's weird, but in the season
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: I like it.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: It's not too sweet. Punkin Pie is a good time.
- 1:00:24Speaker 4: My thing about the blacks, most of them haven't even
- 1:00:27Speaker 4: had it.
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: If you're being honest, sweetpeato pie and punkin pie are
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: not that far off.
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: They were the same thing growing up.
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: The sweet tato pie is usually just a really sweet, sweet,
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: sweet tasting pumpkin pie. They're not that off packet jewey,
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: It's not that but have you tasted it?
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: I'm just saying I hate it when people judge stuff
- 1:00:49Speaker 3: with no experience.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: That's one of my pet peeves. Did you watch it?
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: No, it's not that different, it's not I thought they
- 1:00:58Speaker 3: were the same thing for you.
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: A lot of people did.
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: I was like, wait, there's a difference.
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: Yeah, and sweeping toato the pipe having the strings in it,
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: you had time And if you're gonna make me my
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: grandma Billa May did it when your grandma left the
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: strings in it.
- 1:01:14Speaker 4: Now I'm doing this gross. It's gross. But I do
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: like sweet potato pie. Shut the hell up. I like it.
- 1:01:21Speaker 4: I'm like pumpkin.
- 1:01:22Speaker 3: I love sweet potato power. Sweet potato pie is better
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: than pumpkin than me. But I feel you on the
- 1:01:27Speaker 3: pumpkin ask if you if you.
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: Don't, I respect, But most people I talked, Yeah, did
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: you taste it?
- 1:01:33Speaker 4: No, you don't, just know. You can't just know.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: I just I can just feel it in my watch out.
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: Taste both of them, and then tell me you hate
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: you If you love sweet potato pie. It's hard for
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: me to believe you hate pumpkin pie. If you hate
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: sweet potato pie, I could see you hate it. But
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: they're not that far off.
- 1:01:50Speaker 4: Cousins. First, cousins, I feel it.
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: Your final one to my final one I'm gonna go with.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: I'm back on bananas again.

- 1:02:26Speaker 1: A comfort bowl.
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: Gosh, hey, Toots, Toots, let me get a slice of
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: that banana that is that dated dessert it is. I
- 1:02:36Speaker 3: love it though that because I was I was gonna
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: put apple cobbler in here, but I was like, but
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: banana cream pie is the one I be.
- 1:02:43Speaker 4: Really, you go to House of Pie.
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: I used to go to Baker's Square back in the
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: day in Chicago.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: Let me get that banana cream pipe.
- 1:02:51Speaker 4: Really.
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: Yes, I love bananas though, and so you know I.
- 1:02:58Speaker 3: Was gonna also honorable man, your homemade rice pudding almost
- 1:03:02Speaker 3: made the cut to you is homemade though. When you
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: when you get rice pudding anywhere else, you're gambling with
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: bullshit for to gam rice pudding. Usually it takes a fail.
- 1:03:17Speaker 3: But the rice pudding we grew up eating the homemade recipe.
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: It'll give your diabetes instantly, but it's delicious.
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: I think my my I got to probably Anama mentioned
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: and this is your version of banana pudding.
- 1:03:31Speaker 4: I like lemon meringue pie. Take the meringue out.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: My oldest brother that's his favorite pie.
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: I hate meringue. Yeah, but the lemon. The meringue is silly,
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: like a sliver of meringue the whole.
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: The big, big meringue. That meringue be this stick.
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: Get it out, but like a little local cover meringue
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: with the lemon, just to cut the sweet. Because lemon
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: by itself that is too sweet. But the meringue by itself.
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: That all said the lemon us, but it's way too
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: much Blemma meringue is cool. It's like Oreo cookies for me.

- 1:04:20Speaker 1: look at crumble.
- 1:04:21Speaker 4: The apple pie at the top is more dowe.
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: Yeah, there's something about apple pie.
- 1:04:26Speaker 4: It's doing too much over apple pie. Gasp apple apple pie,
- 1:04:35Speaker 4: baseball the wackest things.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: Yeah, give me the apple.
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: Crumbled apple is an infinitely better dessert than apple. I mean,
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: it's run circles around. They ain't got the marketing. Apple
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: pie is the best thing the little look.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: At the lines going on.
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: You see the apples and the the cherry pie. To
