- 1:12[SPEAKER_01]: There's no offense to like the Olympics we had, this pants on the peaks.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_01]: That was like the first one I watched on a long time.
- 1:18[SPEAKER_01]: Like I watched all of it.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_01]: And I was watching volleyball.
- 1:21[SPEAKER_01]: I was all in the Olympics.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_01]: The most recent one, not the winner of the Olympics, but the summer ones, yeah, the summer Olympics.

- 1:45[SPEAKER_00]: I think we got a couple of women's basketball games and maybe some volleyball games.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that's dope, bro.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, we're with.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_00]: And I guess they're trying to make it
- 2:00[SPEAKER_00]: free of cars around that time.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_00]: So like you have to take club and transportation to like all the events like you can't drive to any of the events and that's how they're trying to have it said.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, all that long talking if you are listening to us or watching us for the first time, please own YouTube, please like and subscribe.

- 2:34[SPEAKER_00]: So appreciate you all for joining us.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_00]: 28th is when the Saints of a poor for training camp.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_00]: So we're we're 25 days away from, yeah, market is a bus ball.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't want to drink another cut water.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_00]: And when I bought the cut water last night, it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was
- 2:59[SPEAKER_01]: You've probably chugged it up, Mark, over there, because Mark probably seen him cranky as with the buzz ball, you better.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_01]: It's chugged.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_00]: Instead of yelling on a disco, y'all know, just lost, just don't even worry about it.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_00]: So this episode, we're going to talk about the top 10 most important saints.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_00]: of the 2026 season just a fun little thought exercise I thought we would do, but before we get into that, can we want to just take, we already talked about World Cup yesterday on the hidden episode that is never going to get released and got deleted from our YouTube channel.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_00]: But can we talk about a little controversial story and just want to talk about a World quick work and it ties into like a bigger thing in that not all the time, but a good
- 3:50[SPEAKER_00]: Read on people, 10 tends to be pretty good, most of the time.
- 3:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_00]: If you don't get it, 80 to 90% hit rate, I can.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_00]: The pretty better than the same hit rates in drafts, I would say that.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, question.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_00]: Let's rewind.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_00]: This had to be 2012, 2013 was a Thursday night football game before Thursday night football became a big thing.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_00]: The jabs to play in an awful, you know, it was a bad Thursday night football game.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_00]: The jabs were playing someone, probably a H.C. South team, take a little J.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_00]: Take a little J, take a little J, take a little J. I think it was rough guy damn.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_00]: And I just remember, even back then,
- 4:37[SPEAKER_00]: Matt Miller and Aaron Nagler, if you don't know what Aaron Nagler is he was like a packer's blog guy.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_00]: And they were tweeting and kind of like having this conversation through tweets of just how like they were getting paid to like essentially cover football, but like just completely just shitty on the project.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_00]: Not to be fair, the product was shitty.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_00]: It was in the
- 5:04[SPEAKER_00]: But I just remember reading those tweets and I even responded and I was like, like the privilege of like, you're just, you're essentially getting paid to watch football.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_00]: Like, like, that is a dream job for a lot of fucking people.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_00]: That would love to do that job.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_00]: And just, I just remember the back and forth and I remember being blocked by Aaron Nagler.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_00]: And again, I won't say this in May 2013.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_00]: And since that day,
- 5:28[SPEAKER_00]: I blocked Aaron Nagler and I blocked Matt Miller.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_00]: And this is before Matt Miller has like blown to prominence of who like he is now.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_00]: This is way way way way.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_01]: And it's still a draft scout in the film.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's still way bad.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_00]: And now he is missing an arm and also may have tried to maybe kill himself because he was different people and fed it for police over 90.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_00]: Nigger.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_01]: And like some come out every day like some doopers
- 5:57[SPEAKER_01]: Did they talk about the time when he stiffed these people over this and that ran a fake charity?
- 6:04[SPEAKER_00]: The Missouri Attorney General is investigating him right now.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_01]: Weird, right?
- 6:12[SPEAKER_01]: It's a weird shit.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_00]: It's like me, hold on.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_00]: Well, if I'm going to do a live pull-up right now, does this nigga still have his gop on me up right now?
- 6:21[SPEAKER_00]: I need to know.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_00]: No, it's not.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_00]: No, it's not.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_00]: been paused.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, okay.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, been paused.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it is as a right now type of milk kind of dropped a good nice G on that was a thousand breath.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_00]: 51,287 dollars.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_00]: That's what I needed my uses to get out of touch.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just saying that's the easy APB brother like a white male in his 40s one arm like it's an easy APB to put out like he ain't gonna get bar Bigger he not gonna get bar Just say a bra is it's he's not anyway
- 7:05[SPEAKER_00]: I just all that to say, just sometimes just the vibes like if the vibes are just awful little bit, I got flagged, I've got flagged when I blocked Freddie on Twitter a couple of weeks ago.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_00]: Didn't I not?
- 7:18[SPEAKER_00]: I got flagged, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're dead.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_00]: Black flagged off.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_00]: I'm pretty proud.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_00]: I just want to write something about it, just fell off.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_00]: It just fell off.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_00]: Well, if I can't, I can't describe it.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_01]: I just like, can we have nothing at them?
- 7:33[SPEAKER_01]: Everything is like a plot.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I'm saying?
- 7:37[SPEAKER_01]: Like there's a subplot activity.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_01]: Can we have anything that's just nice, just a nice story?
- 7:43[SPEAKER_01]: Nope, nope, just like.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no, no, no, not today.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_00]: It then comes out like, anyway, delete it tweet up.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_00]: Delete it for a little.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, I'm just saying all that to say is that my block, my block meter, my feel for blocking is pretty good.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_00]: I once told this to,
- 8:05[SPEAKER_00]: Kevin Washington, this was years ago, but I said, remember that that tweet or whatever, whatever it was about like the really racist tweet about like we're like the black people were or whatever, then you commented on it and then blew up and you had to recently.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_00]: It was like an app or something.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, yeah, I've even figured it about it.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_00]: So years ago, my idea was to
- 8:31[SPEAKER_00]: If you're a black male, you would put the characteristics of white women in it and it would come back to let you know if she was down with this world or not, like you put like hairstyle, body tie, tattoos, you know, you just list them all and then it would come back and be like, you good to go, bro, she just shot it.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_00]: Like she will feel a buck with you.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_00]: And then it put like, oh, whoa, red flag, whoa, whoa, it feel like I'm a competitor at flag.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_00]: If
- 9:02[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just saying, I might need to bring that back because usually my intuition is pretty good, well, if like it's pretty spot on.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_00]: Bro, let's do it, bro.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_00]: We've got to go that thing up.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_00]: I'm telling you, I do numbers, too.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_00]: A nigga approached the world, right girl, and this nigga gets less in it.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, and it's because of me, bro, I don't want it, I don't want it on me, what?
- 9:25[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want it.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_00]: The app said it, she was better.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god, I don't want it.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god, just with James Smith said a snow bunny after crazy.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_00]: Is it though?
- 9:37[SPEAKER_00]: Is it really crazy?
- 9:38[SPEAKER_00]: It's not crazy at all.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure there's something like that already.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just saying like I had this I did like add this I see you like do you just do it up or you would know Not anymore.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_00]: What's God damn bro?
- 9:51[SPEAKER_00]: Just just but no, I don't know anyway
- 9:56[SPEAKER_00]: So, we, again, we had this idea talking about the top 10 most important Saints handed to the 2020 season.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_00]: So, before we get into that, let's have our first breakout episode, we'll come back and then after we come back, we'll dive into the list and kind of break it down.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_00]: They won't take our second break and last break of the episode after player number five and then getting to the rest all up to player number one.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_00]: So, we won't take our first break and we'll be right back after this.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_00]: what you know something that we don't talk about enough is football fans, people in general, getting enough sleep.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_01]: And it's weird, bro, because I'm kind of known, look at my sleep all, but it ain't, it ain't sleep sleep, but it ain't that sleep sleep, that good good sleep.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_00]: And because of that, we are happy to talk about our new sponsor, and that is
- 10:52[SPEAKER_00]: Some sleep is a sleep aid that you mix in contains melatonin, contains magnesium, and it will help you get that good, good sleep throughout the night.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_00]: If you are a Saints fan at night time, you're thinking about Marcus Williams, missing that tackle.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_00]: You're thinking about that.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_00]: No call.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_00]: You're thinking about burning Davis.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_01]: Or I'll be sitting there for you.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_01]: Just looking at the ceiling.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_01]: Angola, I was trying to skip a little bit because it's clutch bro, like, you know, it got it.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_01]: It calms you down.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_01]: You take, you know, you just drop it in some water by eight ounces of water.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_01]: About 30 minutes before you go to sleep, stir it up, push some ice in there, knock it back.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_01]: It tastes good.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_01]: It got all kind of different flavors.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_01]: No, there's a range of green and mango.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_01]: This is a very mixed right here.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_00]: You're not gonna calm you down to get you ready for sleep And then you just like out at that peaceful sleep and because there are new sponsors That means if you are listening to this podcast if you go to get some that is G
- 11:53[SPEAKER_00]: ETSOM.com and use the code word block party.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_00]: You get 10% off of your first order.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_00]: So we are hooking up our viewers and our listeners of the podcast.

- 12:28[SPEAKER_00]: We are back.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_00]: Don't they say speaking of snow bunnies is Adam going to speak on the toilet with wetting?
- 12:36[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, I don't know when what world Taylor Swift is a snow bunnies in any type of capacity.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not going to speak on the wetting.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_00]: I'm honestly very tired and just tired of just hearing about it.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_00]: So I just, no, it's not going to do it.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_00]: Shout out to our, our 15 concurrent viewers, true of yo, truly, some sickos, the, the day before, for to july.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_00]: from Razer for a Kathleen Miller.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_00]: She might be implicated.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, let me let me let's stop.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_00]: So, shout out, I want to give Wolfish out off for setting up this slideshow.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_00]: And if you're watching this, you're currently probably maybe look at it and be like, hey, like, this reminds me of being back in school when I'm be like, I don't really care.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_00]: It's how we doing it.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_00]: So, let's just go through it.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_00]: I, I, I, I, I, I changed it up a little bit.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_00]: Player 10, the 10th most important player ahead into the 2020 pop season, the only did it is we broke it up that we each did our list and then we kind of compare it in contrast exactly like who fires work for WIP, who the players work for me and then there you go.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_00]: Also, I will say that because the screen is up, if whatever's being said in the chat, can't see it.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_00]: So if you're saying stuff in the chat, we'll get to it after we get through the first five of the players.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_00]: So your tent player was cool at McHenstree.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_00]: My tent player was Charlie Smith.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_00]: It does give some hints of who maybe, oh my God.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_00]: That's a lot about it.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_00]: He had to float one.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_02]: He had to float one.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_02]: He had to float one.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_01]: That's Alabama now, bro.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_01]: That's fine, bro.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_01]: I'd be pretty sure that's why it works.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_02]: That's what the fuck it works in the house?
- 14:24[SPEAKER_00]: Run.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm sad, that's not it.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_00]: Has anyone ever livestreamed in guys shot during a live stream?
- 14:36[SPEAKER_00]: Like, that would be some shit, bro.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure, bro, my kid got the foot, bro.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_00]: My kid at the top of the stage is just looking,
- 14:46[SPEAKER_00]: And I wasn't even there, anyway, as you, as you can see, Kiloit McCrinch, she was my fourth spoiler alert.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_00]: It says in the slideshow.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_00]: My fourth overall player for who I used the most important.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_00]: But I want to Charlie Smith.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just going to speak on Charlie Smith just a little bit.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_00]: there are so many points left on the board last season by Blake groupie and just special teams in general, but just especially Blake groupie and there were games where because the offense, just in general was struggling so fucking hard to score points and get over 20.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_00]: Don't care if it was shook in, don't care if it was rattler.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_00]: Let him go.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_00]: rallyer and the the offense struggled to score points and it was even compounded even more that they would get into the opponents, you know, side of the field, you know, 40-yard field go, you know, whatever.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_00]: And then Blake Rupert would just fail to put points up on the board.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_00]: I believe at one point at what I got up to.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_00]: I think he had a count it for like,
- 15:49[SPEAKER_00]: 15 points on the season that they didn't have, or maybe with 18, I forgot what the number was.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_00]: So Charlie Smith and him just being consistent overall throughout the season is so important because this team is going to need to score points.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_00]: especially depending on how the defense does.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_00]: And so we saw some great things to really good things from him last season.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_00]: We also saw here I believe he missed to kind of give me feel goals.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_00]: And so his importance for just them to be good in terms of special teams and just adding additional points on the board is crucial.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_01]: and just think about how many close games we had last year, even last year, the team wasn't even good, but then a lot of games were, you know, six points literally could've, you know, got them a W, you know, I'm saying, really could've had them, you know, in the mix for the playoffs, you know,
- 16:43[SPEAKER_01]: So it's extremely important, you know, will Charlie spit be the guy?
- 16:47[SPEAKER_01]: Will he be the kicker?
- 16:48[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I think I think they want him to, but I think right will approach it as like, yes, they want to get a kicker at something.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_01]: Like, they want to get this figured out, you know?
- 16:57[SPEAKER_01]: And I mean, for me, for picking cool lady in the country, um, look at me, he's just, he's one of, they, the hope is he is one of those court players going for.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, the hope is,
- 17:09[SPEAKER_01]: going into next year, you were talking about, you know, trying to get him an extension and feeling like he's a part right now.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_01]: You just can't really say that right now.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_01]: You just, and it's not that he's been bad.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_01]: It's just kind of like,
- 17:26[SPEAKER_01]: And I think he's in a good spot to like show and prove, you know, second year, second year in his defense, because he had, you know, his first season, he had, you know, Dennis Allen in his defense, his first year in the second year, he's got, you know, Brandon Stanley.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_01]: third year back in the brand of stealth defense.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_01]: So hopefully he's able to build on this, you know, I'm saying like hopefully he's able to just build on it at B.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_01]: shut down number one corner.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_01]: I don't just don't think that's him, but like just be like a really good corner.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_01]: Like a corner.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_01]: There's like, you know, that people look at us like, okay, this is like a good quality NFL corner, starting corner back, perimeter corner back, you know, for our team.
- 18:13[SPEAKER_01]: That's, you know, that has a promising defense, a promising young defense.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_00]: I'm trying to think of a player that like fits that description,
- 18:23[SPEAKER_00]: And it's like, I guess, I guess the, I guess the player I could, I think about, but even, okay, what, what is, what isn't it going to do in there?
- 18:35[SPEAKER_00]: What is going on?
- 18:37[SPEAKER_00]: But even this, like, this player was like, was a, a two, like, opposite of Martian, a lot more, I was going to say, Jackrabbit, I don't know.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_00]: I can't, I can't think of a,
- 18:47[SPEAKER_01]: corner, maybe, maybe, sneak in his everyday's like the derriest need like if he could beat that, you know what I'm saying?
- 18:57[SPEAKER_01]: Like that would be that would be great.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I'm saying?
- 19:00[SPEAKER_01]: That would be great.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_01]: It was a big day type of player.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's it.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_00]: It's probably as close as the comp I'm going to we're going to get.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_00]: Let's go to number ninth player.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_00]: You went.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_00]: I went Travis HN.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_00]: who you put at seven and the you went Jordan Tyson.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_00]: I just feels like everything that Kellen wants to do offensively.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_00]: It's really centered on the offensive line.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_00]: It's centered on having a strong running a game, running attack.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not saying that he wants to rebuild piece by piece.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_00]: What he had with the Eagles, but I do think there are some similarities just in you work see how the team is built with the offensive line, with,
- 19:47[SPEAKER_00]: Travis H. and with the right receivers that there are a lot of similarities in terms of the Eagles offense and offense and what he run when you want the Super Bowl and the same's office, I think the biggest difference is quarterback and just in terms of how they play and I think like this is like with this offensive line assuming it hits this is a real opportunity for Travis H. and to
- 20:10[SPEAKER_00]: kind of break out of the mode and kind of maybe even be higher in terms of like running back rankings of how people think of him because I think people think of him just like a decent fine running back good complimentary piece to a team, but if all goes well like he's going to be like the center piece, you know, the center piece of the running game and the foundation of the running game.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_00]: So having him is going to be very important to what
- 20:37[SPEAKER_01]: for question for no question about it.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_01]: I think Travis H. and got a chance to really like, I get already started building like last year.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know, with the Jaguars, but I think really this year, you could be viewed as like one of these, like a, you know, like a centerpiece running back, you know, to say the centerpiece 14.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, so, and like you said, Kelly Moore, I think ultimately that's what he wants to do for it.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_01]: the way to make a life easier for you quarterback is to be able to run the ball.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_01]: And also killing more understands that you have to be able to attack teams, different type of ways to be able to run a opponent.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_01]: Some weeks, you're going to run the ball 25 times, you know, saying 28 times, some weeks, you're going to run the ball to the run the back, you know, saying, which Travis, each hand could do that also, you know, so he gives you that.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_01]: And we watched the clips from OTAs, man, he was getting a lot of work.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_01]: It's a lot of a lot of work for a past game and a run game, you know, as much as you could do in the run game and OTAs because it's a little Paz and nothing but he, he, I feel like he's going in like ready to go.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_01]: But I picked Jordan Tyson.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_01]: I know some people are very feel like, man, it's kind of a little, they picked him high in the draft.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_01]: He should be higher.
- 21:53[SPEAKER_01]: I just feel like right now, like just going into his rookie year, he kind of has to work his way into being in that echelon.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I'm saying?
- 22:03[SPEAKER_01]: Because we just haven't seen him, we haven't seen him in those years yet.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I'm saying?
- 22:08[SPEAKER_01]: So he's working his way in there.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_01]: I do feel like,
- 22:11[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like he has the ability to be like probably like top three eventually.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_01]: You know Sam, but right now, right now, I'm just looking at him like he's in that top 10 because they need him, like they need him to really like come through and produce.
- 22:25[SPEAKER_01]: But we don't need him to be like, you know, twelve hundred yards of receiver coming into the season.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_01]: Really just want him.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_01]: The goal to this season is one of him to stay healthy.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_01]: Two, take some pressure off of Crystal Lovies of Crystal Lovie could eat and just expand the past game completely.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_01]: Like you get a player like Tyson who was really out there running routes.
- 22:47[SPEAKER_01]: And you got Crystal Lovie.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_01]: And you got the ball, Veli.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_01]: And you got maybe Polka Brown or, you know, who are very slanted, whatever.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_01]: Man, you've got a past game right now, bro.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_01]: And we're talking about the takings and all that shit, bro.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_01]: Like, come on, man, I need it.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_01]: I need it, I need it, I need it, I just can't wait to see him in training camp.
- 23:08[SPEAKER_01]: I just can't wait to just see him run around.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_00]: a route and like that first clip of him catching the touchdown and training camp in the end zone.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_00]: He like is levitate like it's it's going to do numbers.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_00]: I can tell you it's it's going to do number.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_00]: It's low.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_00]: It's okay.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_00]: So when we're finna I did this exercise.
- 23:28[SPEAKER_00]: We didn't like compare notes.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_00]: We did I did my list.
- 23:31[SPEAKER_00]: He did his list.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_00]: And so, very interesting that we both came in consensus with Eric McCoy as the eighth overall player heading into the season.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_00]: He really, to me, is kind of like, I, you could argue, you, you, you killed him, bingsers.
- 23:47[SPEAKER_00]: a more important lichpin, but to me, like Eric McCoy is so important because he ties everything together.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_00]: And the things got lucky, they got lucky last season with Folkner after McCoy went down.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_00]: And as much flack as we give the team, like that Folkner for, um,
- 24:08[SPEAKER_00]: Pinky trade was a fantastic move that they did because Fulton was able to kind of come in and stabilize the center position after Eric McCoy went down, but you can't deny that when he is plain and he's healthy of how much that helps everyone else on the offensive line and just over loss of better offensive line and that if he can be he can give you in a 17 game season, if he could give you 12 13 games and maybe he misses some here and there,
- 24:36[SPEAKER_00]: but that helps out so much in terms of the entire office of the line and it helps Tyler shook as well because even though you're too, he can maybe start making more calls, calling up protections, changing, changing line, moving the sliding in the line from left to right, depending on the defense, just having Eric McCoy makes everyone's job offensively, so much easier.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_01]: So much easier, Brian.
- 25:05[SPEAKER_01]: him and David that was next to each other like that level of football IQ and intelligence and ability to, ability to just read defenses and give a heads up to, you know, give a heads up to the quarterback, give a heads up to Caesar, you know, Caesar, you know, but, and that's another thing like Eric McCoy being there will at least maybe help out
- 25:34[SPEAKER_01]: because every required no season to help, bro.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_01]: You got to help, you got to help season off.
- 25:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so I thank you, Dan, if he starts, if he's able to start like, most of the season, and I hope it's, I hope it's the full season.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_00]: Mine, I hope.
- 25:51[SPEAKER_00]: Man, it's like, it's such a huge domino for the whole universe of mine, huge domino, bro.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_01]: Honestly, he probably should be higher on his list, but just like once you rank everybody out, I think I just felt like I felt like eight this is very spot for him.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I would probably agree with that.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_00]: Like when you really think about it, like how important he is to the opposite line, he probably should be higher, but I just, it's kind of the same thing.
- 26:18[SPEAKER_00]: Like I just, I went with A to number seven.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_00]: So you would Travis H and at seven, we already kind of hit on him.
- 26:24[SPEAKER_00]: I went Christian Miller.
- 26:26[SPEAKER_00]: And to me, his important,
- 26:30[SPEAKER_00]: is just overall just the overall importance of the saints need someone in the interior of the deepest of line to be a plus player.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_00]: And if you kind of like list all the players that they have Miller, Rodden,
- 26:47[SPEAKER_00]: I guess, gotcha, I guess, Nathan Sheppard, like he's easily the most talented player.
- 26:54[SPEAKER_00]: All beat or rookie, they just need someone, like if y'all could just give something up the middle on the interior, can we get something?
- 27:02[SPEAKER_00]: John Ridgeway, but he to me just represents like,
- 27:08[SPEAKER_00]: this imported, and they invested a high second round picking him, like a high second round pick.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_00]: And obviously, you know, I went in at length of, I forgot who the player was from Arizona, who the Raiders drafted, that they really went to draft until the Raiders kind of sniped them for them.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_00]: But Miller is a player that you would hope, you that you would hope, add some just
- 27:36[SPEAKER_00]: impact and just for, you know, just this ferocity and the interior of the Diffus alum that they desperately been missing and been trying to find it on numerous facts and numerous ways.
- 27:47[SPEAKER_00]: And so I just put them at seven just because they need that push, they need a good run stuff or from the interior and he kind of is like the symbol of that.
- 27:59[SPEAKER_01]: And somebody just don't get moved, like, you know what I'm saying?
- 28:02[SPEAKER_01]: Like, two million times, watch the same defense guys just get moved out the spot too easily.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_01]: So we just need an anchor up in there.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_01]: Somebody is just going to squat down and be like, oh, and if he gives you some past rush, which I think if he eventually can, you know, as he learns, I think you can give you some of that.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that'll just be a plus.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_01]: But also like,
- 28:23[SPEAKER_01]: And he's got to start hitting on somebody's delining, where I'm like, hey, we're hitting all of them for years now, where I like to receive.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_01]: He's shown flashes, but still, when it was players, kind of like, cool, they were like, man, yeah, I see some flashes, but I went more, you know?
- 28:39[SPEAKER_00]: So like, how excited is it that I went in names like the interior defense alignment and like, preceded like, they didn't even basically, they didn't even
- 28:48[SPEAKER_01]: You know, it's like they really need to start hitting on these guys like with as much as, you know, Jeff Highland, you know, he does pretty good job, you know, especially in the second area, you know, had a pretty good job to me, they got a award from last year's draft, but you know, what what's the one player in last year's draft was like,
- 29:17[SPEAKER_01]: So he don't use de-lime and bruh and Christian Billy is one of them that I, you know, I hope it is a hit.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_01]: I'm hope hope hope yeah.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_00]: He has all the talent to be like it's a little he does he has a little concerning that he really didn't do much, you know, whatever.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_00]: Like come training camp, it's on keys full, bored to go like I'm not tripping on it, but
- 29:37[SPEAKER_00]: We already kind of hit on HN.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_00]: So I had him at nine.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_00]: You had him at at seven just in terms of he's the importance going into Next season.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_00]: So you just had him hide your on your ranking then then I did let's get to ranking six So I had Jordan Tyson at six.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_00]: You had Sanker at six and then again the spoiler.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_00]: I have Sanker at five I don't want to belabor the Jordan Tyson point, but I just will say that
- 30:04[SPEAKER_00]: besides a lot of days, like first season, like the, you know, we need to play with Michael Thomas, even that was truncated.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_00]: And I guess you play with him kind of like year two when he can't win, but like he has just not played with the consistent number two.
- 30:23[SPEAKER_01]: And that's no respect to like Rashid Shaheed and what have you.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_00]: But he just had to play with the consistent number two.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_00]: health and everything is going and training the right direction.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_00]: The fact that he might be able to play with a number two receiver and who knows, Jordan Tyson like it could be the fact that you this would be the best case scenario that the Saints have essentially how kind of two and if changeable drivers see for ones.
- 30:50[SPEAKER_00]: But like just the pressure that Jordan Tyson can alleviate
- 31:00[SPEAKER_00]: element to the offense that was just sorely missing from this offense without the Jordan Tyson.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_00]: And it's again, it's a lot to put on him, you know, having him at six as a rookie, also with injury concerns.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_00]: But I think he's just such an important piece of what they want to do offensively in terms of their team building.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_00]: So that's why I had Jordan Tyson at six.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_00]: But I see speak about thinker being at six for you.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_00]: Because he's at five for me.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_01]: Man, dead.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_01]: You know, right now he's that nickel spot.
- 31:30[SPEAKER_01]: He's replacing a lot to tell at that stop position the nickel spot.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_01]: He's gonna be that move around chess piece defensive player.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_01]: You know, he did it.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_01]: Did a little bit of it in college.
- 31:41[SPEAKER_01]: He's up for the test.
- 31:43[SPEAKER_01]: I know like like from a speed standpoint, Ross Jackson was talking about this like the same.
- 31:47[SPEAKER_01]: He's keep like all like a board on like
- 31:50[SPEAKER_01]: the fastest players on each practice, because you didn't have to track us on them.
- 31:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yep, no, no, no, no, no, no, I was proud of whatever.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yep, and he said, John, John the Sanker was like, number one, like most of the practices.
- 32:02[SPEAKER_01]: I guess, as far as like running the fastest at each practice or whatever.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_00]: So I used to say, you saw some of it, like it appeared on film during games.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_01]: No questions last season.
- 32:14[SPEAKER_01]: No question about it.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_01]: So it's just, it's gonna be so fascinating.
- 32:18[SPEAKER_01]: Because I mean, look, even my date might uncover some, but even my, even that's where it'd be like, really good at the position.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_01]: It's just one of those things where it's like, like, we know that they had heavy interests in other corner banks this all season.
- 32:32[SPEAKER_01]: So it's not like they went to this season, like, oh yeah, you know, the only circles gonna be our stars.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_01]: It kind of like just kind of played out like that.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_01]: So it's just gonna be so fascinating, bro.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_01]: But he has a, he has a, he has a chance to really like really change the game.
- 32:48[SPEAKER_01]: Like make a lot of money too if he, if he, if it goes very far, it's going to be interesting to just to see how he plays out.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_01]: I can't wait to see, you know, him in the preseason, you know, any practices, because that position is just so.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_01]: It's such a difficult position, man, because you've got to be good in a run game.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_01]: You've got to be able to play a man in a man.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_01]: You've got to be good in such and out all these like weird zone coverages.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_01]: It's a bunch of formations that come out, you know, you've got to be, you've got to be really smart.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_01]: So it's tough.
- 33:18[SPEAKER_01]: And you've got to be physical at the point of taking a play against tight ends.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_01]: You've got to blitz pressure to quarterback.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you know, so it's going to be a challenge for them.
- 33:28[SPEAKER_01]: But.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_01]: That's why he's, you know, he's up on his list for both of us, man, because it's like both of us.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_01]: Huge.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_00]: It's huge for him, man.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to go to five, you have to walk at five.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_00]: I have Sanker.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_00]: So the reason I have him that just everything you said, but also we know how important that star position is in Brandon's daily defense.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_00]: And to me, it's so important because
- 33:58[SPEAKER_00]: Like five is like, so this is 10 players.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_00]: So he's like the fifth player on my list, just because he's such a unknown at that position in this defense.
- 34:10[SPEAKER_00]: I know he played a little bit of an in college, but it's such a key piece not to just, it's a key piece of any defense.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_00]: Like the nickel slot position is such an important piece in the modern defensive schemes, but in brand-ass daily defense, it's like super, super important.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_00]: And it's one of those things where like you said like it could be like a revelation where it's like holy shit like we got this shit right, but like the downside I'm not trying to make this a pessimistic podcast but like the downside is like like one of he's just not cut up for the nickel position the stop position and then it's so that's why it's just to me it's just so important because
- 34:51[SPEAKER_00]: To be a good defense in the NFL, you have to have a good slot.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_00]: I don't care.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_00]: I don't care.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_00]: You have to have a good slot.
- 34:57[SPEAKER_00]: You don't have a good slot, like it's hard to consistently put out a good defense.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_00]: And so I'm excited about like his potential other position, especially his athleticism.
- 35:07[SPEAKER_00]: I do think he's
- 35:09[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's football IQ, and it's not the like belabor, you know, a lot of tea.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's football IQ is just in general, like better than a lot of days was, but he still has to put it all together.
- 35:21[SPEAKER_00]: He still has to show it in a position that's pretty relatively new to him.
- 35:26[SPEAKER_00]: So let's talk about for Waga at five and then we'll take our second break of the show.
- 35:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, if Waga got going into his third year, his first year, you know, played left tackle was, you know, pretty much excellent play through, like, I think, again, like back issues is working here, but he still play well second year dealt with, like, foot knee leg injuries, affected his play, like you could see in effect this play, especially early.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_01]: He was able to bounce back a little bit towards the, you know, end of the season.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_01]: and play well, but it was still one of those just entry play seasons where he just never got ready.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_01]: He was at the music, right tackle.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, he kind of struggled getting comfortable there.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_01]: So, the hope is with him is just that he kind of just solidifies this, but has a good healthy season.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know,
- 36:21[SPEAKER_01]: like that, like along with the rest of the offensive line, you just solidify a whole uni.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, talk about, you know, talk about Tyler's shop.
- 36:32[SPEAKER_01]: We need to, like he was one of the most precious quarterbacks, both quarterbacks, one of the most precious quarterbacks last year, apparently.
- 36:38[SPEAKER_01]: So like this year, you really want to see this alpha to blind, take it up like a couple notches.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_01]: I just wouldn't ask for like a couple of notches.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_01]: This should be what they've invested in this alpha to blind should be a top 12.
- 36:52[SPEAKER_01]: You should be a top 10 unit.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm saying top 12, just to give them a little, it's a little leeway, bro.
- 36:59[SPEAKER_01]: And for Wagga, it's like a huge part of it.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_00]: A huge part.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_00]: he is absolutely so i didn't i didn't rake him like i didn't rake him or banked and i think part of that is maybe
- 37:14[SPEAKER_00]: not downplaying their importance because they're super important.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_00]: I think I'm a little too in my head.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, I think we're going to be okay there.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I just have this, I just and that's the optimistic side of me is like, I think we're just going to be okay at those positions.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_00]: But not to downplay the importance because they're both super fucking important.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_00]: Like, extremely extremely important.
- 37:39[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm just hoping that they're
- 37:41[SPEAKER_00]: going to be okay there.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_00]: So let's take our final break of the show.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to come back and get to our rankings for Player 4 through Player 1 after this break for the top 10.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_00]: Most important Saints players head into the 2020 season.
- 37:53[SPEAKER_00]: We'll be right back after this.
- 38:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yo, what up, Wolf?

- 40:02[SPEAKER_00]: 2% would be my guess.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_00]: 10, that's it, too.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah, trading students, thank you.
- 40:11[SPEAKER_00]: 10, E. B. Tar said, nah, 12 sex season from broad and trust.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_00]: I don't trust that one foot.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_01]: Well, dope, dope, dope, dope, dope, dope, dope, dope, dope, dope, dope, dope, dope, dope, dope, dope.
- 40:29[SPEAKER_00]: That that that that hope is just perm I love it.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_00]: I I would love to see it.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_00]: I love to see it.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_00]: I love to see it.
- 40:35[SPEAKER_00]: Ranking number four.
- 40:36[SPEAKER_00]: We kind of we you don't cool aid.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_00]: You have Jason on that for I haven't met three just for me for cool aid.
- 40:42[SPEAKER_00]: It's a big variance is just that.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_00]: For for me for this, especially for the defense to be like really, really good.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_00]: Like to me, Kool-Aid really has to take like a step forward.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_00]: Like he has to take a leap, you know.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_00]: Like he has to make a jump.
- 41:01[SPEAKER_00]: And we talked about it a little bit earlier.
- 41:03[SPEAKER_00]: It's just like, it's just super.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_00]: And again, a lot of this is so funny because
- 41:09[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of our perception of quarterback play has been altered dramatically because of March on Latamore.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_00]: It's just a bit of altered dramatically because of it.
- 41:19[SPEAKER_00]: Even to like a degree of like a Diabari Greer during the Super Bowl run too.
- 41:25[SPEAKER_00]: So like.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_00]: because before Jabari, we were like quote, why don't we went through so many, for like, Fred Thomas, Jason David, like, he rocked like, we just had so many.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_00]: And so when we finally got one, even with the gear days, it was like, oh, this is great.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_00]: And then,
- 41:44[SPEAKER_00]: I would say talent-wise, Martian, it was a better player than Greer, although I would say Greer was a better technician, that's the position, yes.
- 41:53[SPEAKER_00]: But when you like, there were games that like you've said, like you could just put like, hey, 23, you got him.
- 42:01[SPEAKER_00]: And like, there were games where we were confident that that side of the field would just be taken care of.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_00]: Which is a missed those days.
- 42:10[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not saying that cool late needs to get to that level, but if this defense and just a team or rocks assess is gonna be what it needs to be, he has to like raise it up a couple of echelons in terms of his play.
- 42:24[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm not saying he has to be a true shutdown corner because those are just few and proper tweens.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_00]: There's very few true shutdown corners in the NFL.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_00]: but he just has to be more consistent and just and just better as a whole for this brand and daily defense to not not even not not grasp, but just take a step forward and be better than they were they were last season.
- 42:45[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_01]: And just just give me up a little too much, like give up a little too much man, especially some of the easy stuff.
- 42:52[SPEAKER_01]: I just want to see him
- 43:00[SPEAKER_01]: I miss obviously when he's like, you know, he's arguably the best player on the defense.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_01]: He's the pass for showing the defense.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_01]: Super important.
- 43:10[SPEAKER_01]: If this defense is going to be any good, it's going to be, like, chase him, it's going to be like, when it's a main.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_01]: He components up, you know, and if the defense isn't good, he's going to be one of the main owners of why it's not a good like he's a Linchpin on this defense, right because he used the only one bringing pressure we can't weak out once he got healthy last year And he's, you know, he's really taking on a bigger role as a leader this offseason
- 43:37[SPEAKER_01]: You see him chatting it up, chatting it up with the team, you know, pushing the team, pushing his defense and all that stuff, which is a good thing.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_01]: He's healthy, he's ready to go.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_01]: So like, the hope is like he continues to build off what he did, and those 10, 11 games he played last year, and really just takes it to like a new level where he's one of the premier past wrestlers in the league, you know, I'm saying he's close to it right now.
- 44:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think I think people want to see,
- 44:05[SPEAKER_01]: I'm included, just want to see him kind of build on it and do it like a full season and really be like, that guy that was picked, you know, number two overall, the couple of years ago, that people thought it would be like a real, like a real true legit game changer.
- 44:20[SPEAKER_01]: And I think he could do it, bro, it's just we got to see it more long-term and consistently.
- 44:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 44:25[SPEAKER_00]: That's the big day.
- 44:26[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, I've met three, you have Chris Alave at three, everything you said
- 44:34[SPEAKER_00]: can how he finished the last half of last season can that be extrapolated over a full season?
- 44:42[SPEAKER_00]: And even it is, is there even like, can he get to that level where he's talked about of like,
- 44:54[SPEAKER_00]: Not saying that he was going to be one of these guys, but just whispered to like the Nick Benito's, the Nick Boses, like that echelon of a past russure, like I'm not like Will Anderson, just in regard, I'm not saying he's going to get to that level, but can he become that kind of household name or he's feared as one of those, like not top, I don't know, I'm top of team, like top 10 edge russure.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_00]: in the league.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_00]: Um, because if he can hit that ceiling, I think that would just change things just so much, so dramatically for the defense, um, overall.
- 45:36[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, you got Chris Alabe at ranking three.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you know, what else can we say?
- 45:42[SPEAKER_01]: You know, Chris O'Live, he's, he's, how wide was he from one?
- 45:46[SPEAKER_01]: People argue about, is he, is he a wide receiver?
- 45:50[SPEAKER_01]: One blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 45:51[SPEAKER_01]: He is the same wide receiver one.
- 45:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_01]: And I think what he showed with Tyler shook once he finally got some consistent quarterback play.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_01]: I think he showed what he could do.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_01]: And once he got over, you know, some of the time.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_01]: PTSD or whatever you want to call it from, you know, those hits, and he took two years ago, I think he really showed what he could really beat man like.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_01]: Don't care who you go listen to, mad, harm, and any of the ball knows you can think of.
- 46:22[SPEAKER_01]: You go listen to them, talk about Chris O'Lavey, that man can run routes.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_01]: Since he hit the field, that man is one of the best rival owners.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_01]: He's one of the best separators.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_01]: Consistently beats man, consistently beats zone.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_01]: He gets open so quick.
- 46:36[SPEAKER_01]: That's why you needed a quarterback like Shut that just going to turn the loose.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_01]: It's why, you know, you saw some of the struggles with Rallard because Rallard, Rallard had like this hint of hesitation in his game, but with Crystal Lobby, he's open and you got to hit that through ASAP.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_00]: We won't talk.
- 46:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you did.
- 46:57[SPEAKER_01]: And that's why he excelled when he played with Tyler Schuff, more than he did with Rallard.
- 47:01[SPEAKER_01]: And that's why he didn't excel much with Daryc all either, because, you know, Daryc all had the same problems when you just got like, yeah, you know, so yeah.
- 47:10[SPEAKER_01]: So I mean, the sky's a limit for Chris brother.
- 47:13[SPEAKER_01]: I really feel like if he goes to this season, healthy, gets paid, he could have an even better season than he had last year, which was a, you know, said the team all proceeds.
- 47:23[SPEAKER_01]: He's wrong.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_01]: So, and you know, that was with, you remember, like after the New England game was like, man, man.
- 47:31[SPEAKER_01]: Get him out.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_01]: Get him out of here where I'm done with Chris and that was half through like the very point of the season Bro, it was such a bad game.
- 47:38[SPEAKER_01]: It was such a great game.
- 47:39[SPEAKER_01]: And we were there like everyone in the world He did he did he turned it around?
- 47:43[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not imagine if he's able to have like a full season of that What we saw in the last half you know saying just a full season of that man?
- 47:51[SPEAKER_01]: That's that's really gonna change the game bro change the game
- 47:55[SPEAKER_00]: piece if that's the case he's talked about as being maybe a top 12 while receiving the league if he can.
- 48:01[SPEAKER_00]: He has that ability.
- 48:03[SPEAKER_00]: He does.
- 48:03[SPEAKER_00]: I haven't met two and you haven't calmed and banked it at two.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_00]: Thanks.
- 48:10[SPEAKER_00]: Everything you said about Chris a lot of a, I agree with
- 48:23[SPEAKER_00]: Can he dispel the notion where there's the base of he's a wire receiver water not because I think going into this upcoming season
- 48:32[SPEAKER_00]: If he can do what he did the second half of the season, which shook over a full season, that debate could completely go on.
- 48:40[SPEAKER_00]: Like that is no longer a question whatsoever.
- 48:43[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously his health is important.
- 48:45[SPEAKER_00]: And also I think something that's really important that it gets done.
- 48:48[SPEAKER_00]: I think it will before the season.
- 48:50[SPEAKER_00]: Also, can we talk about how it's a little ass-in-ine that
- 48:54[SPEAKER_00]: CalPITs has a contract extension before Chris Alavey like come on like Drake London and Drake London All right, okay, Drake Drake London.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_00]: All right, fine.
- 49:03[SPEAKER_00]: CalPITs that that to me is is is like disrespectful, but I Think a sum of this contract extension is done where there's before training camp where there's entraining camp whatever That That also potentially could help just alleviate so much like
- 49:23[SPEAKER_00]: pressure and just anxiety from him.
- 49:26[SPEAKER_00]: And I think about that, Jamar Chase season where with the Bengals, where there was all that contract talk before the season, and they didn't, they didn't get an extension done.
- 49:37[SPEAKER_00]: And then like the season started, and things were just off.
- 49:40[SPEAKER_00]: I really do think that the contract extension gets done with the Saints, it kind of just helps, you know, whatever, you know, alleviating anything that may be going on psychologically with him and then you can just play free man and it was so crazy to see the chemistry that him and Chuck had in very limited time on task and so for them to have like a
- 50:05[SPEAKER_00]: I know he's not been in teams, but having like a full off season, a whole training camp together to really find, to really find, to timing on this route.
- 50:15[SPEAKER_00]: I want you to be here, cut, cut this way on the zone, it's like the sky's really is the limit for for a lot of agencies in which the Saints fan, I think you would have to be excited about.
- 50:25[SPEAKER_00]: But big, big, big, big, big set at two.
- 50:29[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks, boy, that's all I left tackle, bro.
- 50:32[SPEAKER_01]: I'm excited for, thanks, man.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like he could be, he has the ability to be one of those left tackles.
- 50:38[SPEAKER_01]: He does, man.
- 50:40[SPEAKER_01]: I think he just has that mentality about him.
- 50:42[SPEAKER_01]: He has this grown man personality about him.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_01]: Just watching him week to week last year.
- 50:48[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't perfect.
- 50:49[SPEAKER_01]: He lost some matchups.
- 50:51[SPEAKER_01]: He got beat sometimes.
- 50:52[SPEAKER_01]: It's stuff like that.
- 50:52[SPEAKER_01]: But I was never really worried with him about that.
- 50:55[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I'm saying?
- 50:57[SPEAKER_01]: I just knew he would even if he got beat, he was going to just pop that up the next play and battle it out.
- 51:02[SPEAKER_01]: You never felt like you remember watching the whip pinning where he get beat is the first game was.
- 51:09[SPEAKER_01]: You'd be like, man, it's about to be a long game.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_01]: Or if because he just, he'd get beat and he would never recover.
- 51:15[SPEAKER_01]: He would never recover.
- 51:16[SPEAKER_01]: He was just bad in the rest of the game.
- 51:18[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, when a cornerback, like Patrick Robinson, we used to get beat.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_01]: As a cornerback early, and you do, just news over, he was about to get beat like a drum in the whole game.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_01]: You never felt that would happen.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_00]: You describing, and it just goes to show,
- 51:34[SPEAKER_00]: just how crazy NFL valuations are.
- 51:37[SPEAKER_00]: And this is not the right off will Campbell, because I know for sure that will Campbell would have felt like he would have been a saint.
- 51:43[SPEAKER_00]: But...
- 51:46[SPEAKER_00]: The way you just described Trevor Penning, in terms of how he would get beat and he would just be down, you know, it's almost eerily similar that Will Campbell in the NFL has been almost like the same way.
- 51:55[SPEAKER_00]: And like as a rookie.
- 51:57[SPEAKER_00]: Like if he got beat, it was just over for him, over.
- 52:02[SPEAKER_00]: And I talk about like that evaluation just in the sense of,
- 52:08[SPEAKER_00]: I just, at St. Span's like, it, like you said, I couldn't, wasn't pretty, but like when I was on the games on Sunday, like I, I just wasn't really worried about, you know, Calvin Banks, like I just, I just wasn't.
- 52:19[SPEAKER_00]: And that's like the most complimentary thing you can say about an offensive line.
- 52:24[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, like, especially a tackle, but especially tackles that are like completely left on the island, like, Kelli Moore, leaves, banks, and things.
- 52:34[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you for raising that point.
- 52:35[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you for that point.
- 52:38[SPEAKER_01]: Pick figured out, that's what people, that's what people don't really understand, it's like these dudes out there, so low-dolo, you know what I'm saying like, like killing Moses out there like man, you better go out there and just win, you know what I'm saying, win that match up and Kevin Vex was out there winning, but he was winning, he was figuring it out as he went along, like he was like I'm going to, I'm just not going to let you to quarterback period, I'm going to do whatever I gotta do to not let that happen
- 53:04[SPEAKER_01]: And I appreciate that it, you know, in his going into his second year, he's working with Toronto instead, you know, all season, you know, trying to pick up tips that he takes his craft really, really seriously.
- 53:14[SPEAKER_01]: He does.
- 53:15[SPEAKER_01]: So I just appreciate that, but that about him, I'm not worried about him, you know, being a good player, that this question is like, how good can he be?
- 53:23[SPEAKER_01]: Like, can he die in the park?
- 53:24[SPEAKER_01]: One of those top five love tackles that's just like,
- 53:29[SPEAKER_01]: Rock solid you don't have to think about for the next 10, 15 years you know what I'm saying is this rock solid racking up principles and all pros and all stuff to go you know what I'm saying can you be that guy can you take it to that
- 53:41[SPEAKER_00]: Because if you can, like, that is such a, oh my God, such a huge fucking thing, like a huge thing.
- 53:48[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, ranking number one, you got to be a fool, it's tallish luck for her.
- 53:54[SPEAKER_00]: Like we, we talked about it so much on this podcast.
- 53:57[SPEAKER_00]: He's obviously the most important player going into next year, and we talked about it.
- 54:02[SPEAKER_00]: It's just like,
- 54:03[SPEAKER_00]: how good is he, how good can he be, how good is he gonna be, end year to going against, you know, better teams, you know, going against better teams defensively.
- 54:15[SPEAKER_00]: Now there's, quote, unquote, there's more film out on him in terms of things.
- 54:20[SPEAKER_00]: So, and that's also, that's also kind of goes into like kind of like Kelli Moren being able to keep, you know, keep it fresh and not, you know, being predictable.
- 54:29[SPEAKER_00]: But it really is,
- 54:31[SPEAKER_00]: him being able to cement himself as like a true capital F franchise quarter back and
- 54:42[SPEAKER_00]: It's a tough, it's a tough, tough thing to do.
- 54:46[SPEAKER_00]: But, and I'm not saying this, but like we've seen it so often across like just time, perfect, perfect example of that comes to mind right now was like CJ Strahd, of how he came out, like Game of Us, it's his rookie season, like,
- 55:02[SPEAKER_00]: People are always like people were having CJ strada like a top eight top nine quarter back after after his rookie and because he played so spectacular and then he has just been just to see it in consistency ever since then.
- 55:17[SPEAKER_00]: So at the quarterback position, especially, you just have to consistently be good to great year after year.
- 55:26[SPEAKER_00]: And so it's so important for Tyler's Chuck to continue to build on the season he had last season.
- 55:32[SPEAKER_00]: And how does he deal with that added kind of pressure because he like it was very pressure three for him going into last season.
- 55:41[SPEAKER_00]: He didn't get named his daughter.
- 55:45[SPEAKER_00]: You know, when you're not named a starter, you kind of come in and you already have this kind of built in kind of, um,
- 55:51[SPEAKER_00]: cashier because like you're looked upon like well you can't be any worse than the guy that was starting to work so he's going into this season as a submitter starter there's some expectation for the same's going into next season not everyone's saying like they're going to be a for sure playoff team but like this expectation from then be better than they were last year so like how does he handle that mentally with that additional added pressure and
- 56:18[SPEAKER_00]: It all starts and ends with number six.
- 56:23[SPEAKER_01]: Starts and ends with him, burn like that.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_01]: That is what this season is all about.
- 56:27[SPEAKER_01]: Last season was figuring out if he's a guy, this season is figuring out if he is vegan.
- 56:35[SPEAKER_01]: That's the answer to the question you try to get when the season wraps up.
- 56:40[SPEAKER_01]: And he has all the tools done, bro.
- 56:42[SPEAKER_01]: I find it funny.
- 56:46[SPEAKER_01]: ball knows out there in the NFL, you know, people that studied tape.
- 56:50[SPEAKER_01]: You know, they didn't watch no Saints last year.
- 56:52[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, as all season, you see that they started digging at some same table and they didn't like damn.
- 56:58[SPEAKER_01]: Down the shop, actually good.
- 57:00[SPEAKER_01]: Like this is really, actually good, all the hell up.
- 57:04[SPEAKER_01]: Even like Greg Rosenthal, you know, he was somebody that wasn't a fan of Tyler Shuck, like it's a draft pick, it's a prospect and then like that.
- 57:10[SPEAKER_01]: Then he finally got around like,
- 57:15[SPEAKER_01]: to his legit.
- 57:16[SPEAKER_01]: And it is, it's just the thing that gives me confidence with him.
- 57:20[SPEAKER_01]: It's like the things he's good at or like legitimate things.
- 57:23[SPEAKER_00]: He aren't like a spooky thing.
- 57:25[SPEAKER_01]: He's like hunting accurate, being accurate over the middle on intermediate routes, you know, arm strength is
- 57:33[SPEAKER_01]: What shocked me the most was his ability to hang that in the pocket and get hit and you know wait until The throw is there and making the throw and on times, you know getting the throw out early To guys like Chris a lot of me to get up that get open quick to do the wrong feeling on third name like his start his third and Long numbers were among the best in the NFL not just among the boys.
- 57:57[SPEAKER_01]: He's like a bunch everybody.
- 57:59[SPEAKER_01]: It was top five It was just crazy so
- 58:03[SPEAKER_01]: With all that said, it's like damn, but it was only 10 games.
- 58:05[SPEAKER_01]: So like, was that just like a statistical anomaly, you know, against, you know, kind of weak teams, the stuff like that, or is this something that we can extrapolate over like my own term, can't be consistently, can he do that consistently?
- 58:18[SPEAKER_01]: We can't wake up going against tougher defenses, teams that have tape on you, you know what I'm saying?
- 58:23[SPEAKER_01]: All that stuff is going to be interesting, bro.
- 58:27[SPEAKER_00]: And also like I think this was a kind of like a big thing to you talking about to like the things you can't teach and it just I think one of his better strengths last season that hopefully won't have to be a strength for him in just in terms of the team is built around him is like he just made other players around him better and that's like and you cannot teach that quality as a quarterback so.
- 58:49[SPEAKER_00]: the vision going again like there is there the vision that we see like the vision going into your two is that well what if the people around him are just good to right like Chris a lot of a Jordan Tyson the offensive line comes together Travis H and you know more
- 59:07[SPEAKER_00]: president, you know, in terms of what they can do from for patiently with having gone 13, you know, 13 person, you know, what no offense and the Oscar dealt.
- 59:13[SPEAKER_00]: Like, what if it's so much of it doesn't have to be on him, and he can just be a point guard.
- 59:19[SPEAKER_00]: But like, maybe there are some games where he, like, and I know what people are going to say, well, it was just a Tennessee Titans or whatever.
- 59:24[SPEAKER_00]: But like,
- 59:25[SPEAKER_00]: Even though it was quote unquote, just a Titans like what he showed in that game also showed so much that when he needs to go out and go banned for ban and just put kind of the office on his back and just do what he needs to do it like he did that and he did that he he shown that he can do that so it's just as huge as it's exciting to see how it plays out.
- 59:48[SPEAKER_00]: and all of that.
- 59:50[SPEAKER_00]: But obviously for, you know, he had to be our number one guy.
- 59:53[SPEAKER_00]: So this is what just the priority of the boards.
- 59:56[SPEAKER_00]: This is my list is Wolf's list.
- 59:59[SPEAKER_00]: You have the players that we kind of aligned with Tyler Schuck, Chris O'Livey, he's my two's Wolf's three, Jason with my three, he was four and then you have players that like, I didn't have a mind.
- 1:00:10[SPEAKER_00]: So I had Chris and Miller on my list,
- 1:00:13[SPEAKER_01]: I wouldn't have any of those players on his list and then conversely he had to waga on his list and kill the banks on his list I had number off and so much Book off and so I just feel like I feel like we're like it's all really everything tied back to shock man like all kinds of lines and yes skill position like it's all tied back to shock cause like
- 1:00:35[SPEAKER_01]: If it's all about getting that answer, it's all about getting that answer today, quarterback position from like, it's so hard, I'll watch from the video a couple of days ago talking about how to say, you know, just been going through quarterback purgatory or whatever.
- 1:00:50[SPEAKER_01]: And it was just, it was just going through all the different quarterbacks that's been started since Drew Breeze retired, I was just like, hey, I'm boy, we didn't, just in this little start time, we didn't been through it, right?
- 1:01:00[SPEAKER_01]: It feels like it's been longer.
- 1:01:02[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 1:01:04[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like, I'm just hoping for it.
- 1:01:06[SPEAKER_01]: This is it.
- 1:01:06[SPEAKER_01]: This is it at least for you guys for at least the next couple of years and have this kind of figured out.
- 1:01:13[SPEAKER_01]: Because it's a weird league now, but it's like a lot of like,
- 1:01:17[SPEAKER_01]: Rosenthal was talking about this like this is like a lot of like decent to good quarterbacks of the.
- 1:01:21[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I'm saying?
- 1:01:22[SPEAKER_01]: Like it's just it's where we think about like you feel like to if you rent quarterbacks down to like to the 20s pretty much everybody's like at least like pretty good.
- 1:01:31[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I'm saying?
- 1:01:32[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 1:01:32[SPEAKER_01]: It's not a lot.
- 1:01:33[SPEAKER_01]: There's not like Jimmy Carlson's out there and shit like no sand is like teams have kind of figured out how to at least get solid quarterback playing.
- 1:01:40[SPEAKER_01]: If you could get one that's like
- 1:01:42[SPEAKER_01]: in the top 10 one of those guys, bro.
- 1:01:45[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah.
- 1:01:45[SPEAKER_01]: Don't know if just one of or I've just run a Super Sam.

- 1:01:48[SPEAKER_01]: Don't know.
- 1:01:49[SPEAKER_01]: Just run a Super Bowl.
- 1:01:51[SPEAKER_01]: So, man, you can get a guy, bro.
- 1:01:53[SPEAKER_00]: You can't ask for more than that, changes everything, it changes everything.
- 1:01:59[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, just the exclusives, like I said, Chris, in my little mind, Travis Mithon, mine, Kevin Bingson, Wolfs, Waga, and then we had eight.
- 1:02:07[SPEAKER_00]: So pretty impressive that we didn't like compare notes, but we still had eight players that we had ranked kind of together.
- 1:02:16[SPEAKER_00]: So that was our top 10 players heading at the season, let me catch up on
