- 0:03Speaker 1: And now, the mob dies, Craig Coyenne is dead.
- 0:12Speaker 2: You want to.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Do it? Yeah, I'm Wayne Dolcefino. Craig Collins is off today. No,
- 0:34Speaker 1: I'm just kidding. You're right there.
- 0:36Speaker 3: Craig Collins A's.
- 0:39Speaker 1: I called you Craig Collins, didn't I?
- 0:40Speaker 3: You did. Yeah, you used a fake name. That's fine.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh.
- 0:43Speaker 3: That's okay.
- 0:44Speaker 1: I feel embarrassed. I'm so embarrassed.
- 0:49Speaker 3: That's okay.
- 0:50Speaker 1: I called you by your real name. Now people can
- 0:52Speaker 1: find you.
- 0:52Speaker 3: Yeah, I know.
- 0:54Speaker 1: We were talking before the break. By the way, time
- 0:57Speaker 1: goes really fast. Talking to the folks out there with you.
- 1:01Speaker 1: It really does. I just looked at the clock and
- 1:03Speaker 1: I said, have we already been on the air for
- 1:05Speaker 1: an hour this morning? And the people that are just
- 1:08Speaker 1: joining us missed some really good stuff. They did.
- 1:12Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:12Speaker 1: So for now on, get up.
- 1:15Speaker 3: There is like.
- 1:16Speaker 1: Six or so and then be ready.
- 1:18Speaker 3: Give me an opportunity. There is a podcast.
- 1:20Speaker 4: We actually also have a blog on our website that
- 1:23Speaker 4: describes what happened in the show and plays the audio.
- 1:25Speaker 4: And you can watch it on YouTube. Like there's a
- 1:27Speaker 4: bunch of places to get it. But you should also
- 1:28Speaker 4: listen to us live.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Is that is that AI that does that or no?
- 1:32Speaker 3: I don't want to answer that question.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Oh, no, I don't want AI paraphrasing some ridiculously offensive
- 1:38Speaker 1: thing I said.
- 1:39Speaker 3: Hold on. So it's not like that.
- 1:42Speaker 4: It submits it to me, and then I review it
- 1:44Speaker 4: before it publishes it.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Oh, that makes me feel a whole lot better. My gosh. Hey,
- 1:49Speaker 1: we were, because I, you know, I say things. People
- 1:53Speaker 1: have called me, you should not have said that. Okay.
- 1:56Speaker 1: And I'm going, I'm going like, who cares? Look, I
- 1:59Speaker 1: say what I think. If you don't like it, Go.
- 2:02Speaker 1: You know what?
- 2:03Speaker 3: I don't care.
- 2:04Speaker 1: I just don't care. And I'm and I'm not trying.
- 2:07Speaker 1: I don't care who I offend. I don't believe there
- 2:10Speaker 1: are any secret words or phrases. Trump was getting grief
- 2:14Speaker 1: on CNN the other day for calling some making some
- 2:19Speaker 1: supposed anti-Semitic comment. Yes. Called someone like a Sherlock. Yeah.
- 2:23Speaker 1: I got to be honest with you. And I heard
- 2:25Speaker 1: some commentator who's Jewish, who's Republican, but Jewish.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Sure.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Was really mad about it. I got to be honest
- 2:31Speaker 1: with you. I think people really need to lighten up.
- 2:35Speaker 1: I don't think I really do.
- 2:37Speaker 3: I mean, I'm, I'm, I.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Was raised in Jewish home when I was young and,
- 2:42Speaker 1: and I don't like, I, I wasn't like going, Oh
- 2:46Speaker 1: my God, I can't believe you said Sherlock. I mean,
- 2:49Speaker 1: We used to make fun of stuff like that. That
- 2:51Speaker 1: used to be a joke on TV. Yes. Like, just stop.
- 2:55Speaker 3: Yes.
- 2:56Speaker 1: It doesn't mean something said with some like animus. Right.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Like those darn Jews. I mean, it's not being said
- 3:03Speaker 1: like that.
- 3:04Speaker 3: No, no.
- 3:04Speaker 1: It's so ridiculous.
- 3:05Speaker 2: It is.
- 3:06Speaker 3: People want to overreact.
- 3:08Speaker 4: They desire to overreact. They desire to find something to
- 3:10Speaker 4: have a problem with. However, and we mentioned it before
- 3:13Speaker 4: the break, and I do want to pay it off.
- 3:14Speaker 4: I do want to play it. There are times when
- 3:16Speaker 4: you watch things and you're like, there's no version of
- 3:18Speaker 4: overreaction that's possible here.
- 3:20Speaker 3: Like, this is insane.
- 3:21Speaker 4: And I think this actually happened back in August.
- 3:24Speaker 3: So this video first went viral back in August.
- 3:27Speaker 4: It is making the rounds again now in October because
- 3:29Speaker 4: people are actually voting in Minnesota. And so a guy
- 3:33Speaker 4: showed up at a Minnesota voting place. And he said
- 3:37Speaker 4: he wanted to vouch for other people. And when they asked, like,
- 3:41Speaker 4: who the people were, I don't even know if they
- 3:42Speaker 4: did ask. He's like, they're members of Hamas that just
- 3:46Speaker 4: got here. And the vouching process, it's great. The vouching
- 3:53Speaker 4: process in Minnesota allows you to vouch for up to
- 3:55Speaker 4: eight people that you claim live in your community. And
- 3:59Speaker 4: so this is legal. You can have someone.
- 4:02Speaker 1: It's classic.
- 4:02Speaker 3: Yeah, okay. So let's go ahead and play on that audio,
- 4:04Speaker 3: and we'll go ahead and play that. If we have that,
- 4:08Speaker 3: I think. I think we have it. You've got to
- 4:10Speaker 3: hit play on it on X.
- 4:11Speaker 1: You've got to hit play.
- 4:12Speaker 3: Yeah, on X, and then it'll go.
- 4:14Speaker 5: These guys were actually members of Hamas.
- 4:17Speaker 3: They got here recently. I don't really know their citizenship status.
- 4:19Speaker 5: They're from the Gaza Strip, and they want to vote today.
- 4:23Speaker 1: That's okay.
- 4:26Speaker 3: I can vote, right?
- 4:29Speaker 2: Correct.
- 4:30Speaker 3: If he's vouching, you can vouch for up to eight people.
- 4:33Speaker 5: My friends here would need to show what? If you're
- 4:35Speaker 5: vouching for them, they wouldn't need to show anything.
- 4:37Speaker 3: They don't need to show anything.
- 4:38Speaker 5: Is that like a common thing for people to vouch
- 4:40Speaker 5: for Hamas members?
- 4:43Speaker 3: You can stop it. You can stop it there. That's
- 4:44Speaker 3: the very beginning of it, but you get it.
- 4:45Speaker 1: But you've got to go on Muckraker, and you've got
- 4:49Speaker 1: to watch the whole thing.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:51Speaker 1: Because even when the other– the part I really enjoyed
- 4:55Speaker 1: the best, because I was thinking, okay, these are just
- 4:58Speaker 1: some Yahoo election workers. No offense to election workers, but
- 5:01Speaker 1: they don't know the rules or whatever, right?
- 5:03Speaker 2: No.
- 5:04Speaker 1: And it's a weird thing, and it's awkward, right? But
- 5:08Speaker 1: even when they knew they were Hamas, the lady was going,
- 5:12Speaker 1: you don't have to show anything.
- 5:13Speaker 3: It's fine.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Right?
- 5:14Speaker 1: It's fine. Oh, just Hamas? As long as they're not ISIS,
- 5:18Speaker 1: we're cool.
- 5:19Speaker 3: And here's what's so crazy about it.
- 5:21Speaker 4: I'm sure the reaction to this back at the time
- 5:23Speaker 4: when it first goes viral is, well, that guy was
- 5:25Speaker 4: just trying to trick us and be an idiot, and he, like,
- 5:28Speaker 4: went to the polling place. But the difference is... that
- 5:30Speaker 4: people who do want to scam the system just wouldn't
- 5:33Speaker 4: be honest. I know I'm pointing out the obvious, but
- 5:35Speaker 4: they'd show up. They'd say, I want eight of my
- 5:37Speaker 4: friends to vote. All eight people get to vote in Minnesota.
- 5:40Speaker 4: And this then makes that entire election crap. This guy
- 5:43Speaker 4: was able to take it to the level of I'm
- 5:45Speaker 4: bringing recently traveled here Hamas members in to vote.
- 5:50Speaker 3: Is this OK? And the answer is yes.
- 5:52Speaker 1: I don't know if they're citizens or not.
- 5:54Speaker 3: I don't know anything about it. They just got here.
- 5:56Speaker 1: They just like got off the plane or the boat
- 5:59Speaker 1: or whatever they got there. And he, but he also
- 6:02Speaker 1: went out of his way to say, are you make,
- 6:05Speaker 1: are you sure this is okay? Yeah. Right. Yeah. Like,
- 6:08Speaker 1: I don't want to get in any trouble. I mean,
- 6:11Speaker 1: the guy was like begging them almost.
- 6:14Speaker 5: Right.
- 6:14Speaker 1: He went a lot farther than I would have. I
- 6:16Speaker 1: wouldn't have even said that. Yeah. I, but, I may
- 6:19Speaker 1: not have said they were Amos members either because I
- 6:23Speaker 1: couldn't believe that when they all just look like, well,
- 6:28Speaker 1: I guess not one of the rules. The lady literally
- 6:34Speaker 1: came out and said. Well, it's not on that sheet,
- 6:38Speaker 1: the sheet of rules.
- 6:39Speaker 3: Whatever you want to do. We don't have anything we
- 6:42Speaker 3: can say no to here.
- 6:43Speaker 1: We are so– can I say screwed?
- 6:45Speaker 3: Yeah, we are.
- 6:46Speaker 4: Well, and the other thing that's funny to me, and
- 6:49Speaker 4: I see this a lot, is when someone feels like
- 6:51Speaker 4: you're on the same team politically, they'll let you do
- 6:53Speaker 4: stuff that they wouldn't let the other side do. Like
- 6:55Speaker 4: if this guy had walked in and they immediately thought
- 6:57Speaker 4: he was MAGA and not just a guy trying to
- 6:59Speaker 4: help people that recently came from the Gaza Strip– I
- 7:03Speaker 4: think they would have rejected everything he said, even if
- 7:05Speaker 4: it was legal.
- 7:06Speaker 3: It's that they thought he was a.
- 7:07Speaker 4: Democrat who was trying to help people in Gaza where
- 7:11Speaker 4: they hear all the time people are taken advantage of
- 7:13Speaker 4: and treated that they're like, yeah, this is totally fine.
- 7:16Speaker 4: Like even if they could find a way that it
- 7:18Speaker 4: was against the rules, they probably still would have allowed
- 7:20Speaker 4: it to happen because they thought they were on the
- 7:22Speaker 4: same team.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. It's got a population of 9-11 cheers. Right.
- 7:27Speaker 1: And bring them in.
- 7:28Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 7:29Speaker 1: I think if a guy walked in with an American
- 7:31Speaker 1: flag and eight old white people that looked Floridian into
- 7:37Speaker 1: the Minnesota voting booth, they would have said.
- 7:41Speaker 3: Hey, we can't have this here. And none of these people.
- 7:44Speaker 1: These people aren't from Minnesota.
- 7:46Speaker 4: Yeah, like two MAGA hats on and they would have
- 7:48Speaker 4: been kicked out immediately because that's the other thing that's
- 7:51Speaker 4: so funny about this and when this went viral originally
- 7:54Speaker 4: and And how it's still a rule.
- 7:56Speaker 3: And I told you, I just.
- 7:57Speaker 4: Read a headline from NPR in Minnesota claiming that they
- 8:01Speaker 4: have the most secure voting system in the entire country
- 8:05Speaker 4: because of.
- 8:05Speaker 3: The vouching system.
- 8:07Speaker 4: They say the vouching system allows some person to come
- 8:10Speaker 4: in and be like, no, this guy lives here.
- 8:12Speaker 3: I'm telling the truth. It's totally fine.
- 8:14Speaker 1: But you know what? I guarantee you if I showed
- 8:17Speaker 1: this video, which I will, I will be required viewing
- 8:21Speaker 1: by my staff this morning. If I show them this video,
- 8:24Speaker 1: They will all accept that it's all just made up nonsense. Right.
- 8:29Speaker 1: That they're all like actors, like all those yahoos were
- 8:34Speaker 1: like actors in a play or there's more to it
- 8:37Speaker 1: or they would have never accepted the votes or they
- 8:40Speaker 1: didn't actually vote. They were just right. It's every excuse
- 8:44Speaker 1: in the book. I guarantee it. To justify that it
- 8:47Speaker 1: isn't what it is.
- 8:49Speaker 4: Well, and even more so than that, I think that
- 8:51Speaker 4: they wouldn't go look for the proof that they're right.
- 8:54Speaker 4: Like the biggest problem I have when I argue with
- 8:56Speaker 4: somebody about some of this stuff and they come back
- 8:58Speaker 4: with something like what you just said, Wayne, they're like, no,
- 9:01Speaker 4: that didn't happen. No, they probably threw the vote out
- 9:03Speaker 4: right after it got cast or something. they don't go
- 9:07Speaker 4: look to see if that's true. They're like, I just,
- 9:10Speaker 4: I know it is. I know that my side's not
- 9:12Speaker 4: the dirty side and you guys are. So we fixed
- 9:15Speaker 4: it somehow.
- 9:15Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 9:16Speaker 1: We caught it. Cause those people didn't actually vote. Right.
- 9:20Speaker 1: And so we caught it.
- 9:22Speaker 5: Right.
- 9:22Speaker 1: It was, of course we would have never let some
- 9:25Speaker 1: Hamas guy to come in on a Thursday and vote
- 9:27Speaker 1: on and register to vote on a Friday. But I
- 9:30Speaker 1: do think it's why I was frustrated that, that the
- 9:35Speaker 1: Republicans left in the fall without pushing the save act. Yes. Right. Yeah.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Because even if it went down, even if it went
- 9:45Speaker 1: down in defeat, it would show me that Republicans were
- 9:50Speaker 1: trying to do something.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:53Speaker 1: And I, I just thought it was a, and I
- 9:55Speaker 1: would have made it just citizenship. I wouldn't have worried
- 9:58Speaker 1: about the mail-in voting. You know, you're, away, you take,
- 10:01Speaker 1: take small victories, make it a simple up and down
- 10:05Speaker 1: vote on, on whether we should require proof of citizenship
- 10:08Speaker 1: to vote. Sure. Simple question. Yes. And let the, put
- 10:11Speaker 1: the Democrats into position, start changing some of those numbers and,
- 10:17Speaker 1: But we've got to, if the numbers are right, and
- 10:21Speaker 1: remember polls, Craig, they'll say, you know, she has 44
- 10:26Speaker 1: and he has 42. And then when you add those together,
- 10:29Speaker 1: it's 86, which means there's a whole bunch of voters
- 10:32Speaker 1: out there that they don't know how they're going to vote.
- 10:35Speaker 1: So there's always time to get a last minute surge.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Like Trump, Trump just posted something that everyone's apologizing to
- 10:45Speaker 1: him for the waiver deal on diesel fuel because they
- 10:50Speaker 1: got that American guy out. Yeah. Right. That it was
- 10:54Speaker 1: part of the negotiation of a hostage exchange. Yes. And
- 10:58Speaker 1: if that's true, then you don't have to say people
- 11:01Speaker 1: are apologizing to me. You say this is why. You
- 11:06Speaker 1: need to trust me. I know things and I was
- 11:09Speaker 1: doing things that I couldn't tell you about. This is
- 11:13Speaker 1: what a president does every day. This is why I
- 11:17Speaker 1: made the decision in Iran. There's so many ways to
- 11:21Speaker 1: message this in the right way. Yeah.
- 11:25Speaker 3: There are, for sure.
- 11:26Speaker 1: I just throw my hands up.
- 11:27Speaker 4: I did get a message from a listener that they
- 11:29Speaker 4: want us to play it again. So we're going to
- 11:31Speaker 4: hit a break. We'll come back and we'll play it
- 11:32Speaker 4: again because it's real. It's definitely real. And it went
- 11:36Speaker 4: viral once. It's going viral again because it's ridiculous.
- 11:39Speaker 1: It's hilarious. It is. It's actually scary. It's not. It's...
- 11:43Speaker 1: It's not funny. It's sad.
- 11:45Speaker 4: It's terrifying and hilarious because people deny that this sort
- 11:50Speaker 4: of thing happens.
- 11:51Speaker 3: That's why it's the hilarious part. But all right, we'll
- 11:53Speaker 3: come back in a bit.
- 11:54Speaker 4: KSEV Radio, the voice of Texas.
- 11:56Speaker 3: We are the Mob Guys, and we are thrilled to
- 11:59Speaker 3: be here with you. I do know before.
- 12:03Speaker 4: OK, I do know before we take a break, actually,
- 12:04Speaker 4: we should say a couple of things about American medical plans.
- 12:07Speaker 4: For a long time on this radio station, you've heard
- 12:10Speaker 4: Chris Salcedo sing the praises of American medical plans. And
- 12:14Speaker 4: one of the biggest reasons why is that Obamacare sucks.
- 12:17Speaker 3: It's terrible. It's horrible.
- 12:20Speaker 4: And if you change to an American medical plan, you
- 12:23Speaker 4: are likely to save 60 percent on what the typical
- 12:27Speaker 4: Obamacare plan would be for anybody in a situation where
- 12:30Speaker 4: you're going to that open market and looking.
- 12:32Speaker 3: This is likely to be the amount of savings. It
- 12:34Speaker 3: could be more, could be a little less.
- 12:35Speaker 4: And the biggest reason why is because the guy involved
- 12:38Speaker 4: at American Medical, the guy in charge there, he'll go
- 12:41Speaker 4: over everything with you. Scott will take you from piece
- 12:44Speaker 4: of information, a piece of information. And my favorite part, Wayne,
- 12:47Speaker 4: talking to him the other day, is that Scott will
- 12:49Speaker 4: even bring you into the American medical, or excuse me,
- 12:51Speaker 4: into the Obamacare system and show you. Like, these are
- 12:54Speaker 4: the plans you could have chosen here, and they're awful,
- 12:57Speaker 4: and they're terrible.
- 12:59Speaker 1: They really are. And my daughter has Obamacare, and she
- 13:02Speaker 1: says it's, like, disgusting. And one of the great things
- 13:06Speaker 1: about American medical plans is that, and it's something I
- 13:09Speaker 1: think that is the solution, really, is.
- 13:14Speaker 1: I don't need insurance to have a baby, right? I
- 13:18Speaker 1: don't need that pregnancy stuff, right? So why should I
- 13:22Speaker 1: pay for it? Why should I have to get an
- 13:24Speaker 1: insurance plan that makes me pay for my maternal care
- 13:28Speaker 1: when I'm not a maternal?
- 13:29Speaker 3: When you can't have one.
- 13:31Speaker 1: And Scott knows that. Scott's a smart guy. He knows
- 13:34Speaker 1: how to work the insurance plan that works best for you.
- 13:38Speaker 4: Yeah, well, and the best thing about, if you call
- 13:40Speaker 4: Scott Ferguson and his team at American Medical Plans is...
- 13:43Speaker 4: You're actually going to reach him or somebody else. You're
- 13:44Speaker 4: not going to get AI. You're not going to have
- 13:46Speaker 4: to talk through a bunch of robots.
- 13:48Speaker 1: And Craig won't answer either.
- 13:50Speaker 3: I won't answer either. You'll get to talk to somebody there.
- 13:52Speaker 1: Can I give Scott's number over at American Law? Sure,
- 13:55Speaker 1: go ahead. Is this his personal cell?
- 13:57Speaker 3: I believe it is.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Okay, it's 833-500- PLAN, P-L-A-N, 833-500-7526. Yes. Or you can
- 14:10Speaker 1: go to the website, Greg, at what?
- 14:13Speaker 4: At AmericanMedicalPlans.com. That is AmericanMedicalPlans with an S dot com.
- 14:18Speaker 4: The most important part is that it's health care chosen
- 14:21Speaker 4: by you, not the government.
- 14:23Speaker 3: KSED Radio, 700 AM. The voice of Texas. We are
- 14:29Speaker 3: the Mob Guys. He is Wayne D'Altofino. I am Craig Colonnade.
- 14:34Speaker 3: Thrilled to be with you.
- 14:37Speaker 4: I got a message from a listener saying we have
- 14:38Speaker 4: to play this again. The clip of the day from
- 14:41Speaker 4: Wayne is, it went viral back in August and it's
- 14:44Speaker 4: viral again.
- 14:46Speaker 1: I'd never seen it. I watched it last night.
- 14:48Speaker 4: I went, what the hell? And we're just playing the
- 14:52Speaker 4: intro to it. It's honestly like a nine minute long video.
- 14:55Speaker 4: You can go watch a bunch of places, including just
- 14:57Speaker 4: on Twitter. But here we can go ahead and play
- 14:59Speaker 4: it one more time. This is the beginning setup of Hey,
- 15:03Speaker 4: I want to register these Hamas guys to vote here
- 15:05Speaker 4: in Minnesota.
- 15:06Speaker 3: These guys were actually members of Hamas. They got here recently.
- 15:09Speaker 3: I don't really know their citizenship status. They they're from
- 15:11Speaker 3: the Gaza Strip and they want to vote today.
- 15:14Speaker 1: That's OK.
- 15:14Speaker 2: I can vote, right? Correct.
- 15:21Speaker 5: If he's vouching, you can vouch for up to eight people.
- 15:24Speaker 3: My friends here would need to show what?
- 15:26Speaker 4: If you're vouching for them, they wouldn't need to show anything.
- 15:28Speaker 3: They don't need to show anything.
- 15:29Speaker 5: Is that like a common thing for people to vouch
- 15:32Speaker 5: for Hamas members?
- 15:33Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, that's it. That's good. It's ridiculous, man. It
- 15:37Speaker 3: is insane.
- 15:38Speaker 1: I don't know what to say.
- 15:39Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know what to say to that.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Yeah. I really, I think, look, unfortunately, there are states
- 15:46Speaker 1: in this country, you know, I left my door open
- 15:50Speaker 1: back there. There are states, you can see the garbage cans. Nice, nice, nice,
- 15:54Speaker 1: nice visual. Um, But there are states in this country
- 15:58Speaker 1: that I think have gone insane. And what scares me
- 16:03Speaker 1: is that there are actually enough people to say, yeah,
- 16:07Speaker 1: that's a good idea. There was no outrage. The reason
- 16:13Speaker 1: I never heard about this is because at the time
- 16:16Speaker 1: they didn't.
- 16:17Speaker 3: Yeah, it was more of an Internet thing.
- 16:18Speaker 4: It wasn't even talked about by a lot of places
- 16:21Speaker 4: on television or radio at the time.
- 16:23Speaker 1: I don't know why we wouldn't use stuff like this.
- 16:26Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 16:27Speaker 1: And I don't understand why we didn't take advantage of
- 16:31Speaker 1: these kinds of things.
- 16:32Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 16:32Speaker 4: Well, And I would go back to something you said,
- 16:35Speaker 4: because there are places in this country now that are crazy.
- 16:37Speaker 4: They're sort of defiantly and intentionally crazy. They share the
- 16:43Speaker 4: message of and they like shape their message to their
- 16:45Speaker 4: base of we have to fight fire with fire. Like
- 16:48Speaker 4: in California right now, they are thrilled at the idea
- 16:51Speaker 4: that Tallarico could get elected as senator here and be
- 16:53Speaker 4: a representative of them. Like when that message goes out
- 16:56Speaker 4: that you'll have a third senator from California, the California
- 16:59Speaker 4: people are like.
- 17:00Speaker 3: Great, this is wonderful. We love it.
- 17:02Speaker 4: Even though it's upending the system that the founding fathers
- 17:04Speaker 4: built for us.
- 17:05Speaker 3: Screw that part. We don't care.
- 17:07Speaker 1: I'm sure it wouldn't be constitutional, but I don't care.
- 17:10Speaker 1: I'll do it anyway. But why do we allow people
- 17:13Speaker 1: who live in other states to vote? Look, again, if
- 17:16Speaker 1: I ran for office, I'd want my cousin Vinny to
- 17:19Speaker 1: give me a thousand dirty money, right? Launder it into
- 17:22Speaker 1: my campaign.
- 17:23Speaker 3: I get you.
- 17:24Speaker 1: But really, we could just say, Vinny, I'd love you
- 17:27Speaker 1: to help me, but I can't take money from out
- 17:29Speaker 1: of state. Why do we let like another state like California?
- 17:34Speaker 1: And I don't know why we're not even why no
- 17:37Speaker 1: one's even done that story. I think someone's done it,
- 17:40Speaker 1: but not really like. How much of his campaign money
- 17:44Speaker 1: is coming from California? He's running to be their senator.
- 17:48Speaker 3: Not ours.
- 17:49Speaker 4: I guess my only response to you, and this is
- 17:52Speaker 4: just an assumption, not actually something I've done enough research
- 17:56Speaker 4: to know for sure, but I wonder if it would
- 17:58Speaker 4: be too hard. I wonder if that money could still
- 18:01Speaker 4: be filtered from California in some crazy way.
- 18:05Speaker 3: Go ahead.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Sure it could, Craig. I get it, right? Vinny could
- 18:09Speaker 1: give the money to Craig, and Craig could give it
- 18:12Speaker 1: to Pablo, and Pablo could. Sure. But you can't stop
- 18:16Speaker 1: that ever. But people are required to put their names
- 18:20Speaker 1: on the stuff. If you stop that, you would at
- 18:23Speaker 1: least stop a lot of the money. You wouldn't stop
- 18:26Speaker 1: at all. People would play games.
- 18:29Speaker 5: Right.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Sure. They'd circumvent the system. We would make it a
- 18:33Speaker 1: crime to do that. I don't think it would hold
- 18:35Speaker 1: up constitutionally because, you know, First Amendment, all that stuff.
- 18:39Speaker 1: Citizens United. And look, I think all of it's a
- 18:43Speaker 1: little out of control. I don't like the answer of
- 18:46Speaker 1: public money.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Sure.
- 18:49Speaker 1: You know, being put into campaigns.
- 18:50Speaker 3: Sure.
- 18:52Speaker 1: I would be in favor of limiting campaign contributions.
- 18:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:57Speaker 1: Yeah. Like there aren't a lot of judges.
- 19:00Speaker 4: Honestly, I think I just saw it yesterday, too, that
- 19:03Speaker 4: Tallarico is out there now saying that he's running against
- 19:05Speaker 4: Elon Musk. He's not even claiming that he's running really
- 19:07Speaker 4: against Paxson anymore because he says Elon Musk is funneling
- 19:09Speaker 4: all this money into the campaign in the final hour
- 19:12Speaker 4: to try to push Paxson over the hump. And he's
- 19:15Speaker 4: mad about that. But isn't that just fighting fire with fire? Like,
- 19:19Speaker 4: isn't that the same thing that was happening for Tallarico's
- 19:22Speaker 4: campaign and all the crazy money that came in? from
- 19:25Speaker 4: left outside sources that have nothing to do with the
- 19:27Speaker 4: Texas race.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Look, it happens every 15, 20 years. People get overly
- 19:31Speaker 1: mad at the rich people. I think people are frustrated
- 19:34Speaker 1: because it is expensive.
- 19:36Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:37Speaker 1: But it was Biden who made it expensive.
- 19:40Speaker 3: That's true.
- 19:40Speaker 1: Now, does Trump made it a little more expensive for
- 19:43Speaker 1: some things? Yes.
- 19:45Speaker 2: Right.
- 19:45Speaker 1: But your gas prices are not even as high as
- 19:48Speaker 1: they were during the Biden administration. Well, and the funniest
- 19:52Speaker 1: thing is people are freaking out like it's the like.
- 19:55Speaker 1: oh my God, like there's like 5,000 people in line
- 19:58Speaker 1: at the Exxon.
- 19:58Speaker 3: Right, yeah.
- 19:59Speaker 4: Well, and the funniest thing too is for a little
- 20:01Speaker 4: while there before the fight with Iran did happen, things
- 20:03Speaker 4: were getting cheaper. And so I think that that's a
- 20:06Speaker 4: easy demonstration that things will get cheaper again in the.
- 20:09Speaker 3: Very near future. And then they'll all shut up.
- 20:11Speaker 4: Like the funniest part about the crazy people who get
- 20:14Speaker 4: so mad is that the minute that they actually don't
- 20:17Speaker 4: no longer get the thing they want. They never admit
- 20:19Speaker 4: that they were, you know, that it's been fixed. They'll
- 20:22Speaker 4: never go back to that. They'll just go on to
- 20:23Speaker 4: whatever they say the next horrible thing is. But I
- 20:26Speaker 4: think that in the very near future, gas prices will
- 20:28Speaker 4: actually go down a lot because the fight with Iran
- 20:30Speaker 4: will be over.
- 20:31Speaker 1: Well, I mean, look, they're saying the next president is
- 20:34Speaker 1: going to deal with it. I don't think so. The
- 20:37Speaker 1: reality is, I believe after the election, you may see
- 20:43Speaker 1: other countries getting in because they kind of like that
- 20:46Speaker 1: Trump's been beat up and they're kind of hoping that
- 20:49Speaker 1: 26 will be a harbinger of 28. Yeah. I don't
- 20:53Speaker 1: think it will be. Um, I not a huge fan
- 20:58Speaker 1: of the way the Republican thing is setting up only
- 21:01Speaker 1: because I'm not a huge fan of JD Vance. I mean,
- 21:04Speaker 1: I think he's very smart. Um, I think he's kind
- 21:08Speaker 1: of a little biting.
- 21:09Speaker 3: I'm, I'm personally, I like him.
- 21:12Speaker 1: You do. You're, you like him.
- 21:13Speaker 3: Well, I don't know if this is the right way
- 21:15Speaker 3: to say it.
- 21:16Speaker 1: You're from up in that world. Yeah.
- 21:17Speaker 4: Well, I don't know if this is the right way
- 21:18Speaker 4: to say it, man. It just, it feels like the
- 21:20Speaker 4: right way to say it for me. I would like
- 21:22Speaker 4: a candidate in their 40s or, you know.
- 21:24Speaker 1: I get that.
- 21:26Speaker 4: I would like a candidate that's closer in age to me.
- 21:30Speaker 4: No offense to Trump. I voted for Trump three times.
- 21:32Speaker 1: So if I ran, you would not.
- 21:33Speaker 3: No, I would vote for you. I would vote for you.
- 21:35Speaker 4: But I like the idea of someone who just differently
- 21:39Speaker 4: articulates the same problems because I think that it does
- 21:42Speaker 4: reach people.
- 21:44Speaker 3: In my generation more.
- 21:44Speaker 4: And I think my generation is really one of the
- 21:47Speaker 4: biggest problems to getting more Republicans elected. Like I truly think,
- 21:51Speaker 4: and we went to the faith fest here in Texas
- 21:53Speaker 4: and we heard from people that were saying Gen X
- 21:56Speaker 4: or Gen Z, excuse me, is doing a better job
- 21:58Speaker 4: of understanding some of these issues and voting, you know,
- 22:01Speaker 4: more on the right than in previous generations. It's really
- 22:04Speaker 4: millennials who are screwing this up the most for everyone.
- 22:07Speaker 3: And so J.D.
- 22:08Speaker 4: Vance, Marco Rubio, some people that get bounced around, They
- 22:14Speaker 4: seem to do pretty well with millennials.
- 22:16Speaker 1: Yeah, I know. When I say I'm not happy, I'm
- 22:19Speaker 1: a Marco Rubio fan. I just feel like they've got
- 22:23Speaker 1: to figure out how that's going to work out because
- 22:25Speaker 1: I think Marco Rubio is more palatable to middle voters.
- 22:32Speaker 1: And I think in a way the party is going
- 22:35Speaker 1: to have to, don't get mad at me, return a
- 22:37Speaker 1: little bit to a more, I call it compassionate, but
- 22:42Speaker 1: a little more A different way to say the same thing. Right.
- 22:46Speaker 1: Not change America first, because America first is the answer. Right.
- 22:51Speaker 1: To me.
- 22:52Speaker 4: Yeah, deliver the same message differently. But it's the same message,
- 22:55Speaker 4: same policies, same behavior.
- 22:57Speaker 3: Yeah, everything.
- 22:59Speaker 4: Yeah, and Vance is more similar to Trump than Rubio is.
- 23:04Speaker 1: Good news, if the Democrats do take over, they're going
- 23:07Speaker 1: to screw up and remind people how screwed up they are. Yeah.
- 23:10Speaker 1: Maybe it's not the end of the world.
- 23:12Speaker 3: I'd like for that not to happen. All right, quick break.
- 23:14Speaker 3: A lot more. I know Wayne would, too. Quick break.
- 23:15Speaker 3: A lot more. KSEV Radio, the voice of Texas.

- 24:04Speaker 4: Craig Colonese. He is Wayne Dolcefino. You can call in
- 24:08Speaker 4: and be a part of the show if you want to.
- 24:10Speaker 4: We're not trying not to take phone calls.
- 24:12Speaker 3: 832-258-5738. Did I get that right?
- 24:16Speaker 2: 832.
- 24:16Speaker 3: No, that's a totally different number.
- 24:18Speaker 1: Whose number is that? Is that your number?
- 24:20Speaker 3: I don't know. No, it's not my number.
- 24:21Speaker 5: It's 281-558-5738.
- 24:21Speaker 3: Okay, I thought I said it that way.
- 24:22Speaker 2: 281-558-5738.
- 24:22Speaker 1: No, you said 832.
- 24:31Speaker 3: Oh, my bad. Don't call that other number.
- 24:35Speaker 1: I hope there's some 80-year-old woman who's in a wheelchair
- 24:39Speaker 1: who has to get up to answer the phone.
- 24:41Speaker 3: My brain blanked for a second there.
- 24:42Speaker 4: I think 832 is an Illinois-based number, but it is
- 24:45Speaker 4: not mine.
- 24:45Speaker 1: 281.
- 24:45Speaker 3: Okay, now you're showing.
- 24:46Speaker 1: That you're still a yank. Yeah.
- 24:51Speaker 4: 832 is a Houston area code.
- 24:55Speaker 1: Oh, is it? Okay. It's 281-832-713-346.
- 24:59Speaker 3: Man, I really hope I didn't give my Texas phone
- 25:01Speaker 3: number out on air.
- 25:02Speaker 1: I think you just gave your home number.
- 25:05Speaker 5: All right.
- 25:06Speaker 2: I'd like.
- 25:08Speaker 1: I'd like you to call that first number to call Craig.
- 25:12Speaker 1: I'd like the calls to start around midnight. Okay.
- 25:16Speaker 3: Thanks, guys.
- 25:17Speaker 2: 281-558-5738.
- 25:17Speaker 3: I did get a Texas number when I moved here.
- 25:19Speaker 1: I did.
- 25:20Speaker 4: I have a long, long time phone number that's actually
- 25:23Speaker 4: a Google voice number. And then I always have like
- 25:25Speaker 4: a real number that's the iPhone number that I never use.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Wait a second. I just got a text. I've been
- 25:32Speaker 1: deputized by the guy Huffines, who's running Don Huffines, who
- 25:39Speaker 1: is a boy. He's a patriot.
- 25:41Speaker 3: We got to get him on the show.
- 25:44Speaker 1: I would love to get him on the show because
- 25:46Speaker 1: he's going to have a whistleblower portal. It's a new
- 25:50Speaker 1: whistleblower portal to send your tips directly to law enforcement investigators.
- 25:56Speaker 1: I am hoping that when he comes in, we'll get
- 26:00Speaker 1: some more cooperation from the controller's office. You know, I
- 26:02Speaker 1: think I've called the controller's office, and I know the controller.
- 26:06Speaker 1: We don't hang out or anything, but I know who
- 26:08Speaker 1: he is. We went to the same church in Katy.
- 26:11Speaker 1: But every time I've called them, they've never called me back.
- 26:17Speaker 1: They never call me back. The guy that's being paid
- 26:20Speaker 1: never called me back. You know, I've been asking for
- 26:23Speaker 1: records in Corpus for seven months, getting ready to do
- 26:26Speaker 1: another story on them. And The city secretary, I've called her,
- 26:30Speaker 1: I've threatened her, I've cajoled, and seven months, never called
- 26:34Speaker 1: me back. Wow. That's crazy.
- 26:37Speaker 3: Yeah, that's crazy.
- 26:39Speaker 1: They're paid to call me back.
- 26:40Speaker 3: And Don Huffines will help fix this.
- 26:42Speaker 1: And so I would like to get Don on the show,
- 26:45Speaker 1: and Mays will give him another chance. He must have
- 26:47Speaker 1: been out last night.
- 26:48Speaker 3: Something happened.
- 26:49Speaker 1: Who knows? But vote for him. And look, I've told
- 26:53Speaker 1: him I'd like to speak to all my fellow patriots.
- 26:57Speaker 1: And I like that word, patriots, because I think that's
- 27:00Speaker 1: what we are. I think that's who our listeners are, right?
- 27:04Speaker 1: That we want America to be strong and free and prosperous.
- 27:12Speaker 1: And we think these other people are nuts. Look, it's
- 27:17Speaker 1: really great to promise everybody free grocery stores and free buses.
- 27:23Speaker 3: It is.
- 27:24Speaker 1: Right? It is. I'm not even sure I would have
- 27:26Speaker 1: buses if I was running a city, but that's another story. Sure.
- 27:31Speaker 1: I would have a few buses, but not that train. Nothing?
- 27:33Speaker 3: You wouldn't have any?
- 27:34Speaker 1: Nothing.
- 27:35Speaker 3: Man, I don't know. Take an Uber.
- 27:37Speaker 4: I miss trains. Being here in Houston, man, I like
- 27:42Speaker 4: the trains.
- 27:43Speaker 1: Look, they built our rail. First of all, we waited
- 27:46Speaker 1: too long, right? You did. Second of all, because things
- 27:49Speaker 1: got too expensive. We should have done a monorail a
- 27:52Speaker 1: long time ago. I thought we should have done a
- 27:54Speaker 1: monorail in this town. I don't know whether the technology
- 27:59Speaker 1: would work. It's done in other places. I thought it
- 28:01Speaker 1: would have been very cool. And I would have extended
- 28:06Speaker 1: it to suburban lines.
- 28:07Speaker 3: Well, and traffic wouldn't be as bad.
- 28:09Speaker 4: If we had a train system like New York or
- 28:11Speaker 4: even Chicago has one, it would reduce the amount of
- 28:15Speaker 4: traffic because a whole bunch of people would get up
- 28:16Speaker 4: on the trains.
- 28:17Speaker 1: Yeah, and it would also, like, I lived in Seven
- 28:20Speaker 1: Meadows in Katy for years. I raised my kids there.
- 28:23Speaker 1: And I would drive in to Channel 13 every morning,
- 28:26Speaker 1: and it would take sometimes an hour and a half.
- 28:29Speaker 1: So it's not just about, it's also about time. I mean,
- 28:33Speaker 1: in my world, I think about time a lot, right?
- 28:36Speaker 1: And that's just a lot of time. That's like three
- 28:38Speaker 1: hours of my life every day.
- 28:40Speaker 3: Right, and traffic.
- 28:41Speaker 1: And I'm sitting in a car yelling at the crazy
- 28:46Speaker 1: person in front of me who cut cut in front
- 28:48Speaker 1: because they could get there five seconds quicker, right?
- 28:52Speaker 3: The jerk that did that, yeah.
- 28:54Speaker 4: No, that's the only thing that I really miss about
- 28:56Speaker 4: other places. Like, I've really enjoyed living in Houston. I
- 28:58Speaker 4: really enjoy living in Texas. I like the weather. We
- 29:01Speaker 4: joked about that the other day, that the weather's awful here.
- 29:03Speaker 4: I think that's something you said, but I like it
- 29:05Speaker 4: comparatively because, like, when's the last time you were in
- 29:07Speaker 4: a snowstorm.
- 29:08Speaker 3: Just out of curiosity?
- 29:11Speaker 1: It's been a few years.
- 29:12Speaker 3: See, exactly, yeah, which is great.
- 29:15Speaker 1: I think I was visiting New York.
- 29:17Speaker 3: I was.
- 29:18Speaker 4: We did move here just before it snowed in Houston.
- 29:22Speaker 4: Not this past winter, but the one before.
- 29:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 29:25Speaker 4: And it was to me as somebody from the north,
- 29:28Speaker 4: a little amusing at how much, you know, it shut
- 29:31Speaker 4: stuff down for a day. But it was just a day.
- 29:34Speaker 4: And up there you have like a month of that,
- 29:37Speaker 4: two months of that where it's just horrible. So I
- 29:39Speaker 4: think that's one thing. people don't understand is so great
- 29:42Speaker 4: about living in the state.
- 29:43Speaker 1: Okay. So I have a horrible story to share. So
- 29:46Speaker 1: speaking of, of snow years and years ago in 1980s,
- 29:50Speaker 1: my father died in 1980s, but years ago, um, a
- 29:55Speaker 1: woman was killed by a guy in a downtown office building.
- 29:59Speaker 1: And I, got their time to get him coming out
- 30:02Speaker 1: to ask him and he confessed pretty much right on
- 30:05Speaker 1: camera right it was a pretty big story so that
- 30:09Speaker 1: woman and i can't believe i can't remember her name
- 30:11Speaker 1: right now um that woman is buried next to my
- 30:14Speaker 1: father wow and that's why i it coincidentally coincidentally That's crazy.
- 30:21Speaker 1: I don't know why that's an important story, why I
- 30:24Speaker 1: even remember it. Sure. But I don't remember a name
- 30:27Speaker 1: because I don't really go to cemeteries much. I don't
- 30:29Speaker 1: really think I need to go to a cemetery. Well,
- 30:32Speaker 1: I just don't think I need to go there to
- 30:34Speaker 1: let my mom and dad know that I wish they
- 30:38Speaker 1: were around. All my mom's friends, my mom died. 29
- 30:42Speaker 1: years ago, all our friends are still rocking and rolling.
- 30:45Speaker 1: They're all in their eighties. Virtually none of them are gone. Wow.
- 30:49Speaker 1: And I'm going, what a shame for her.
- 30:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:52Speaker 1: But yeah, this woman is buried next to my dad
- 30:54Speaker 1: and it was a really bad snowstorm that day. And
- 30:58Speaker 1: people were crashing into everything. Cause you know, here, if
- 31:02Speaker 1: it just rains, people start running into stuff like me.
- 31:06Speaker 1: I'm one of those people.
- 31:07Speaker 3: Well, the infrastructure is not here.
- 31:09Speaker 4: Like the other thing that's funny about it is I
- 31:10Speaker 4: think we saw a plow that was stuck in the snow,
- 31:13Speaker 4: which was amusing to someone from up north to see
- 31:16Speaker 4: a plow in Texas that can't get out of the
- 31:18Speaker 4: snow itself.
- 31:19Speaker 3: That seems that seems like a poor use of the plow.
- 31:21Speaker 1: We don't do snow well.
- 31:22Speaker 2: All right.
- 31:23Speaker 4: Well, but you don't have it, which is wonderful. And
- 31:25Speaker 4: this this winter, it didn't really happen. So, you know,
- 31:28Speaker 4: it'll be great. And I look forward to no snow again.
- 31:31Speaker 4: People don't understand how good that is.
- 31:33Speaker 1: Well, on a happy note, it's the fall, and the
- 31:38Speaker 1: weather here is great in the fall.
- 31:40Speaker 3: It's amazing.
- 31:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:41Speaker 3: Are you a golf guy? I don't think I've asked
- 31:43Speaker 3: you that.
- 31:43Speaker 1: I used to be a golf guy until my wreck,
- 31:47Speaker 1: and I just can't. My feet just don't work that
- 31:51Speaker 1: way anymore. But I used to enjoy playing golf. In fact,
- 31:55Speaker 1: the undercover unit at ABC 13 was famous for our
- 32:00Speaker 1: golf games.
- 32:00Speaker 2: Nice.
- 32:00Speaker 1: We used to. it was part, it was when we
- 32:03Speaker 1: would think about what we were going to do next. Um,
- 32:06Speaker 1: we would go play golf.
- 32:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:08Speaker 4: Um, and you know, who was the best golfer out
- 32:11Speaker 4: of the names people would remember?
- 32:12Speaker 1: I was never the best golfer. No, I didn't go out.
- 32:15Speaker 1: I would just go with my guys. I didn't, I
- 32:17Speaker 1: didn't really hang out much, uh, with the other party.
- 32:20Speaker 1: We were all buddies and friends and we'd go drink together,
- 32:23Speaker 1: but I didn't like, um, go play golf with them.
- 32:25Speaker 1: I played golf with my photographer and my producer. Um,
- 32:30Speaker 1: and we'd go screw off, I.
- 32:33Speaker 4: Do have a question because like I knew a bunch
- 32:35Speaker 4: of Tribune writer people like when I was working in
- 32:38Speaker 4: at WGN, we had a bunch of contributors who were
- 32:41Speaker 4: like longtime newspaper guys. And the newspaper guys would go
- 32:45Speaker 4: to the same bar just under the the Tribune Tower.
- 32:49Speaker 4: It's Billy Goat Tavern, the one they made fun of
- 32:51Speaker 4: on Saturday Night Live with the cheeseburger, cheeseburger, cheeseburger thing.
- 32:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 32:55Speaker 4: And that's just what they do. They would all go
- 32:57Speaker 4: as a group. They'd hang out all the time. And
- 32:59Speaker 4: they didn't even really consider each other friends. Like the
- 33:01Speaker 4: funniest part is like, oh, your buddy. He's like, that's
- 33:03Speaker 4: not my friend. That's just the guy that I drink
- 33:05Speaker 4: with after work. Was that a thing that happened a
- 33:08Speaker 4: lot in television?
- 33:08Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. Kay's Lounge on Bissonnette. So there was Kay's Lounge.
- 33:13Speaker 1: It was about, I don't know, a mile or so
- 33:16Speaker 1: from the station. And we'd get off the air at 1030.
- 33:19Speaker 1: And Dave Ward and I would be at Kay's Lounge
- 33:22Speaker 1: by 1032. And there came a point where we would
- 33:28Speaker 1: park our news cars out there so much that there
- 33:31Speaker 1: are some nights when in front of Kay's lounge, there'd
- 33:34Speaker 1: be three or four channel 13 news trucks. And at
- 33:38Speaker 1: one point the station manager said, You guys need to
- 33:41Speaker 1: go park in the back.
- 33:42Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, because otherwise people think something's happening there.
- 33:46Speaker 1: Or that we were just a bunch of drunks.
- 33:48Speaker 3: Well, I don't know. But I think that's great.
- 33:51Speaker 4: Because I do think a lot of people need to
- 33:53Speaker 4: go get a drink with their coworkers sometimes in order
- 33:55Speaker 4: to not hate each other.
- 33:56Speaker 1: We do that.
- 33:56Speaker 3: Yeah, we do. We're going to do it soon. A
- 33:58Speaker 3: quick break.
- 33:59Speaker 4: A lot more KSEV Radio, the voice of Texas. We're
- 34:02Speaker 4: the mob guys. I see we got at least one
- 34:04Speaker 4: call on the line that called the right number and
- 34:06Speaker 4: not probably my Texas cell phone. 281-558-5738 is the phone number.
- 34:15Speaker 2: 281-558-5738.
- 34:15Speaker 4: We'll be right back after this. Unless you want to
- 34:19Speaker 4: talk about it on the air. KSEV Radio. Okay, you
- 34:21Speaker 4: really don't care about talking about anything on the radio.
- 34:24Speaker 3: KSEV Radio. It's the voice of Texas.
- 34:26Speaker 4: I am Craig Colonnade. He is Wayne Del Cefino. We're
- 34:28Speaker 4: going to get to a phone call first, and then
- 34:31Speaker 4: we're going to talk about the thing we were talking
- 34:32Speaker 4: about off air. Because I got another message from a
- 34:35Speaker 4: different listener that accused us of something, and I kind.
- 34:39Speaker 3: Of was surprised by it.
- 34:41Speaker 1: I'd love to hear it.
- 34:42Speaker 5: Yeah, okay.
- 34:43Speaker 4: I'll read the whole message. But first, let's get to Lee.
- 34:45Speaker 4: Lee is calling about Ken Paxton. Lee, what do you
- 34:47Speaker 4: want to say?
- 34:49Speaker 2: Good morning. CNN, when they talked to Drunk Dave, they
- 34:53Speaker 2: forgot to mention that Paxton just won a statewide race
- 34:57Speaker 2: and was just reelected when he decided to do this
- 35:00Speaker 2: failed attempt of impeachment. And by the way, Wayne, your
- 35:04Speaker 2: SpaceX stock is up 13% this morning.
- 35:07Speaker 1: Yeah, baby.
- 35:08Speaker 2: That should make you happy.
- 35:10Speaker 1: Yeah, baby. That's good. Yeah, baby. I bought that at $ 100,
- 35:13Speaker 1: so there you go. Oh, that's awesome. Awesome. You know,
- 35:17Speaker 1: like I said, I always come in late. Like I
- 35:19Speaker 1: bought it the day the IPO came out, and then
- 35:22Speaker 1: three days later I added to it, which was my mistake,
- 35:25Speaker 1: and then it went down a lot. But like I said,
- 35:29Speaker 1: don't ever ask me for financial advice. I'm not the guy. Okay,
- 35:33Speaker 1: who's complaining about this?
- 35:34Speaker 4: Lee, thank you very much for the call. Unless you
- 35:38Speaker 4: want to say something else. Whatever else you want to say, Lee,
- 35:39Speaker 4: we didn't hang up on you yet.
- 35:41Speaker 2: No, I'm going to tell you again, I'm a big
- 35:44Speaker 2: fan of Chris, but I really like what you're doing, Craig.
- 35:47Speaker 3: Oh, thank you very much, man. I really appreciate that.
- 35:49Speaker 3: Thank you very much.
- 35:51Speaker 1: Thank you, Craig's brother, Lee.
- 35:54Speaker 4: I have no family in Texas. I have no family here. So, yeah,
- 35:58Speaker 4: I want to tell you that. I got a message.
- 36:00Speaker 4: So at Radio Craig C is where you can find
- 36:02Speaker 4: me on social media. My Facebook page is like 2,000 followers.
- 36:06Speaker 3: Wayne has 100,000.
- 36:07Speaker 2: 126,000.
- 36:07Speaker 4: Excuse me, 126,000. I think if you wanted to actually
- 36:13Speaker 4: talk to us, you should probably go to Wayne's pages
- 36:15Speaker 4: because I don't even really monitor mine.
- 36:17Speaker 1: I don't want more hate on my page. I've got
- 36:19Speaker 1: so much hate already.
- 36:20Speaker 3: No, it's fine. I don't monitor mine as much as
- 36:22Speaker 3: I should.
- 36:23Speaker 4: But I got a message a couple days ago from
- 36:25Speaker 4: someone that was accusing both of us of being a rhino.
- 36:28Speaker 4: I don't know if you want me to give the
- 36:29Speaker 4: guy's name or anything about him.
- 36:31Speaker 1: I don't care. Tell me his name.
- 36:32Speaker 3: His first name's John.
- 36:33Speaker 4: And John said that, you know, I've been listening recently
- 36:36Speaker 4: to KSEV and The New Morning Show with you and
- 36:39Speaker 4: Wayne Dolcefino. And I just have to say that both
- 36:41Speaker 4: of you seem like liberals and not conservatives.
- 36:45Speaker 1: Yeah, that's me. OK.
- 36:46Speaker 4: And then it went on and on about something that
- 36:49Speaker 4: either you or I said that.
- 36:50Speaker 3: That he took is as anti-Trump.
- 36:53Speaker 4: And so the thing I would say in response on
- 36:55Speaker 4: the air, I voted for Trump three times.
- 36:59Speaker 3: I don't know how to be anti-Trump.
- 37:01Speaker 4: When I vote for him three times, I'm not, I'm
- 37:03Speaker 4: not sure if it was you or me that they
- 37:05Speaker 4: were accusing.
- 37:05Speaker 1: Well, it probably was me.
- 37:07Speaker 2: Okay.
- 37:07Speaker 1: But, but let me tell you, I, I'm, I'm not,
- 37:11Speaker 1: I look, I'm not here. I'm not doing this to
- 37:15Speaker 1: be like, and if that's what people wanted, then, then
- 37:19Speaker 1: I'm not that guy. Am I going to get on
- 37:21Speaker 1: and not criticize things that I think could have been
- 37:25Speaker 1: done better? Right. Like, there wasn't like a thought in
- 37:30Speaker 1: my mind that I was going to vote for the drunk,
- 37:33Speaker 1: stupid woman for president.
- 37:34Speaker 3: Right.
- 37:35Speaker 1: I'm not, I wasn't going to do it. Uh, I
- 37:37Speaker 1: agree with 95% of Trump's policies.
- 37:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 37:42Speaker 1: Maybe, maybe a hundred percent.
- 37:44Speaker 3: Maybe a hundred percent.
- 37:44Speaker 1: Yeah. I don't, I look, I'm very, I'm a, I'm
- 37:48Speaker 1: a bit of a war hawk. Um, I believe in a,
- 37:52Speaker 1: a kick in somebody's butt. If you're messing with us,
- 37:55Speaker 1: I don't believe in big government. Um, So I don't
- 37:59Speaker 1: know how that makes me at all a rhino, except
- 38:04Speaker 1: that because I've been in the media for 50 years
- 38:07Speaker 1: and because I'm not stupid and because I see things
- 38:10Speaker 1: that I think are wrong, that I think are hurting us. Look,
- 38:15Speaker 1: I want conservatives to win. I want us to always win.
- 38:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 38:19Speaker 1: I want us to understand whether we like it or not. Yes.
- 38:24Speaker 1: Some crap we're not going to undo. Yeah. We're not
- 38:27Speaker 1: going to deport. Look, I'm just trying to be totally
- 38:30Speaker 1: honest here. No. We're not going to deport everybody who
- 38:35Speaker 1: goes to Walmart and Home Depot. We're not going to
- 38:38Speaker 1: do it. All right. Sure. And the Democrats who make
- 38:42Speaker 1: such a big deal about this, they're the ones that
- 38:44Speaker 1: have these sanctuary cities, which should be we should not
- 38:47Speaker 1: send any federal money to any place that is sanctuary
- 38:51Speaker 1: cities or states. Well, nothing.
- 38:53Speaker 4: The thing I wanted to say in response to it
- 38:55Speaker 4: is sort of, again, and I know I use this
- 38:57Speaker 4: term a lot when I talk about this, but like
- 38:58Speaker 4: a high level, like a macro discussion of it, because
- 39:01Speaker 4: if we get into the specifics, the listener doesn't even
- 39:04Speaker 4: say what you or I said that was specifically anti-Trump.
- 39:07Speaker 4: It's just an overarching idea that there's an accusation that
- 39:11Speaker 4: we might be. And so here's the point I want
- 39:13Speaker 4: to make to a lot of people. And I don't
- 39:16Speaker 4: know how to not make it another way. So I'll
- 39:18Speaker 4: make it this way. I think there are people who
- 39:21Speaker 4: do things that are fake in media all the time.
- 39:23Speaker 4: And I think like Megyn Kelly, for example, now, I
- 39:26Speaker 4: don't know if the real her is finally coming out
- 39:29Speaker 4: or the real her. was a few months ago when
- 39:31Speaker 4: she liked Trump. But now she hates the guy. Tucker
- 39:34Speaker 4: Carlson is all over the place with what side of
- 39:36Speaker 4: the aisle he seems to be on. And I think
- 39:39Speaker 4: a lot of those people do that somewhat performatively to
- 39:42Speaker 4: chase views, to chase an audience.
- 39:44Speaker 3: Wayne and I don't do that.
- 39:46Speaker 4: Neither one of us from from knowing you as well
- 39:48Speaker 4: as I know you so far and knowing myself obviously
- 39:51Speaker 4: pretty well. We're just going to tell you what we think.
- 39:54Speaker 4: And so I feel like it's important to draw that
- 39:57Speaker 4: difference because when people are accusing someone of being a rhino,
- 40:01Speaker 4: I think one of the biggest things they're accusing them
- 40:02Speaker 4: of saying is a lot of stuff that they don't believe,
- 40:05Speaker 4: whether the belief is all the positive Trump stuff or
- 40:08Speaker 4: negative stuff. Everything we say we believe. And this is
- 40:11Speaker 4: the other thing that's important. Trump doesn't deliver messages.
- 40:14Speaker 3: Great all the time. No, he doesn't.
- 40:17Speaker 1: He doesn't.
- 40:17Speaker 3: Do I find them personally funny? Did it change my
- 40:22Speaker 3: support of Trump? Never. It is not.
- 40:25Speaker 4: But when I say that, I understand how someone can
- 40:28Speaker 4: more easily attack the way Trump delivers something than say,
- 40:31Speaker 4: as you mentioned a few minutes ago, the way Marco
- 40:33Speaker 4: Rubio does. And a masterclass happened when Rubio went and
- 40:38Speaker 4: spoke in Europe to all of the other countries about
- 40:41Speaker 4: how much they were failing us and how much they
- 40:43Speaker 4: needed to be a part of the team with us.
- 40:46Speaker 3: And they stood up and applauded him.
- 40:48Speaker 1: Yeah, it was it was blunt, but classy.
- 40:51Speaker 2: Right.
- 40:51Speaker 3: It was so classy, but so specific.
- 40:53Speaker 1: The same thing.
- 40:54Speaker 2: Right.
- 40:54Speaker 1: You do the same message. Yes. Right. Right. Look, I'm
- 40:57Speaker 1: in that business to a large degree. Right. Yeah. It's messaging.
- 41:01Speaker 1: It's trying to communicate to people. So when I criticize,
- 41:07Speaker 1: it's not policy. In fact, I'm probably to the right
- 41:11Speaker 1: of Trump on a lot of things. Sure. I really
- 41:15Speaker 1: am not everything. Right. And like I said, I think,
- 41:19Speaker 1: I think if people believe that we should treat any
- 41:24Speaker 1: president or any party as infallible and just come on
- 41:31Speaker 1: the radio and, You just say, hey, everybody, everything is great.
- 41:36Speaker 1: It's just not real. Right.
- 41:38Speaker 2: Right.
- 41:39Speaker 1: What's real is is winning.
- 41:41Speaker 5: Yes.
- 41:42Speaker 1: And the way you win is not to alienate the
- 41:46Speaker 1: people that. aren't necessarily in lockstep with every single thing
- 41:53Speaker 1: you do. And so if that makes me a rhino,
- 41:57Speaker 1: then come on, baby. Who cares? That's all bull.
- 42:02Speaker 4: The other thing that you said that was so great
- 42:03Speaker 4: there is if you tell me everything's great and in
- 42:05Speaker 4: my own personal life it's not great, I already know
- 42:08Speaker 4: you're lying. If I look at my own experience and go,
- 42:10Speaker 4: wait a minute, it doesn't match the rhetoric, then I
- 42:13Speaker 4: distrust you more. So it's really important to be honest
- 42:16Speaker 4: in those moments and So you can still reach people
- 42:19Speaker 4: that will write you off.
- 42:19Speaker 3: Yeah, absolutely.
- 42:20Speaker 1: So in the meantime, as we go, everybody needs to
- 42:23Speaker 1: get off their butt in Fort Bend County. I'm told
- 42:26Speaker 1: that the Democrats are voting like 60-40. Okay.
- 42:29Speaker 3: So we need.
- 42:30Speaker 1: To get people out in Fort Bend, in Harris County.
- 42:35Speaker 1: In Montgomery County, they're pretty reliable. But if you want
- 42:39Speaker 1: what we all want sitting here, then you've got to
- 42:43Speaker 1: get out and vote. If you stay home and the
- 42:45Speaker 1: other guys win and you didn't vote, you can't blame
- 42:49Speaker 1: me and Craig.
- 42:50Speaker 3: We're not the ones who.
- 42:51Speaker 1: Are going to stay home.
- 42:52Speaker 5: Amen.
- 42:52Speaker 3: We try.
- 42:53Speaker 5: All right.
- 42:53Speaker 3: That's it.
- 42:54Speaker 4: That's the whole show. KSV Radio, The Voice of Texas.
- 42:56Speaker 4: The Mob Guys, back tomorrow.
