- 0:20Speaker 1: Close your eyes and make yourself comfortable. Take a deep
- 0:27breath in through your nose and slowly let the breath
- 0:34out through your mouth again. Take another deep breath in
- 0:42through your nose and slowly and gently let the breath
- 0:50out once again. Deep breath in and slowly breathe out.
- 1:08Now imaddin yourself standing on a beautiful beach, glorious white sand,
- 1:17and you can hear the calming sounds of the ocean.
- 1:22You can hear the waves as they gently come into
- 1:25the shore. As you listen to the waves, breathe in
- 1:32deeply and then slowly breathe out, breathing in cool, refretching air.
- 1:45And every time you hear the waves breaking on the shore,
- 1:50you become more and more relaxed, more and more calm,
- 1:55and more and more peaceful. And you look out over
- 2:03the ocean and see the amazing blue water. It's so
- 2:09calm and peaceful as the waves gently come up onto
- 2:13the sand and then slowly slide back down again back
- 2:20into the beautiful blue ocean. And the day is warm
- 2:27and fresh, and the sun is shining high up in
- 2:31the sky, with only a few fluffy white clouds drifting
- 2:36on by. Now further up on the beach is a cave,
- 2:44and you get interested, so you go and take a
- 2:46look at it. The cave is warm and the air
- 2:51is moist, and it's actually very light inside it, so
- 2:56you can see where you're going. You walk through to
- 3:01the other end of the cave and you see it
- 3:04comes out into a lovely tropical forest, and you can
- 3:10hear the sounds of the forest birds singing. You can
- 3:14even feel a gentle breeze on your face and it
- 3:17feels ever so nice. You can hear the sounds of
- 3:22small animals scurrying through the undergrowth as they go about
- 3:27their daily business. As you walk further in, you see
- 3:33a large rock room in this enchanting and amazing forest,
- 3:39and he has a very large tree standing next to it,
- 3:43and some of its branches are hanging low over the water,
- 3:49and it's then, thinking noses, it's actually a banaca tree,
- 3:53and you can see lots of bananas hanging down and
- 3:56they look very tasty too, and you are a bit
- 3:59hungry greener, so you decide to pull a few bananas
- 4:05off the tree for your lunch. When suddenly a small
- 4:10fish leaps out of the water and pulls a banana
- 4:13off the tree and it disappears back into the water. Wow,
- 4:17a banana eating fish. You didn't think fish ate bananas,
- 4:23Well apparently this one does. You pull off a couple
- 4:28for yourself and sit down to enjoy the tasty bananas.
- 4:34And as you sit there, the little fish again leaps
- 4:38out of the water, rabs a banana, and goes back
- 4:41under the wash again. Oh my, do you wonder what
- 4:46kind of fish it is? Clearly it likes bananas. How strange.
- 4:55As you sit eating your bananas, a little head up
- 5:00out of the water and stares at you. It's the
- 5:04little fish again. He smiles at you and says, alone
- 5:10and talking fish that eats bananas. What next, you think
- 5:15to yourself. The little fish tells you his name is Pete,
- 5:22and he tells you that he is a piranha. Oh no,
- 5:27you think to yourself, a piranha. You're very sure that
- 5:31they eat people.
- 5:33Speaker 2: The little fish see.
- 5:35Speaker 1: He's your look of alarm and tells you that he
- 5:36doesn't eat people. Nobody he knows eats people. Besides, he
- 5:42says they don't taste very nice. He only eats bananas.
- 5:49They are his favorite food. Well, the only food they
- 5:53would eat, really, He tells you that his family and
- 5:58friends only eat fish, and they think he's very strange
- 6:03because he eats bananas, so strange in fact, that they
- 6:08don't talk to him anymore, and this makes him very sad. Indeed,
- 6:16Pete asks you if you would like to come for
- 6:19a swim with him, and you say yes, of course,
- 6:24as long as you don't eat me, and you both
- 6:26give a little laugh. So with a big leap, you
- 6:32jump into the rock pool with an enormous splash. You
- 6:36swim around for a little while, and then Pete asks
- 6:40you if you would like to meet his friends who
- 6:42live deep within the ocean. Well, you say yes, but
- 6:46you don't think you can hold your breath that long.
- 6:50But Pete says not to worry. He has a magic
- 6:53sweet you can eat and it will let you breathe underwater.
- 7:00Pop the sweet in your mouth and dive deep under
- 7:03the water. Wow, you can still breathe. It's just like
- 7:08breathing air, only it's all watery up, and you can
- 7:12also talk too. Pete takes you to the deep ocean
- 7:19floor and to a little cave. Here is where his
- 7:23friends live, and just then a big squigly tentacle slowly
- 7:31slides out of the cave, followed by a rather big octopus,
- 7:38who is then followed by many, many smaller octopus. You
- 7:43try to count them, but there are just too many
- 7:45of them. Pete gives a little laugh and tells you
- 7:50that his friend, Olivia the big octopus has two hundred children. Wow,
- 7:58that's a lot of children. Olivia smiles, and she says
- 8:04she would like to show you around the cave where
- 8:06they all live. And then she suggests she takes you
- 8:10on a tour of the ocean floor. How fantastic is that?
- 8:18So just for a little while, go with Olivia and
- 8:21Pete and all the little octopus and see where they live,
- 8:27see how they live. Then you can have a wonderful
- 8:33tour of the ocean floor. Go and see what else
- 8:37lives at the bottom of the ocean. See how many
- 8:39different creatures you can find, and have fun. Now you
- 11:01all returned to the cave. How wonderful that was to
- 11:07see all the other creatures that live in the ocean.
- 11:12What kind of creatures did you see? Where did they live?
- 11:20How many did you see? Pete the banana eating banana
- 11:30tells Olivia the octopus about the banana's heats, and he
- 11:36tells her how tasty they are, and he teaches them
- 11:41how good bananas are for them, very good for the bones,
- 11:46Pete says. So Olivia decides that the next time she
- 11:52surfaces above the water, she will give these tasty bananas
- 11:56a try. Pete is ecstatic because he knows that they
- 12:01will love them just as much as he does. But
- 12:08now it's time for you to return home. So you
- 12:12say good bye to Olivia and her children, and Pete
- 12:16guides you back to the rock pool. You climb out
- 12:21of the water and turn and say good bye to Pete,
- 12:25and you really hope you can see him again soon.
- 12:30Pete tells you that you can come and visit him
- 12:33and his friends any time you want, So you wave
- 12:39goodbye to Pete and begin your journey back home. As
- 12:45you walk, breathe in deeply, filling your lungs with the wonderful, fresh,
- 12:52clean air, and your mind gently begins to drift into
- 12:59a lovely comfortable silence, just letting all the thoughts pass
- 13:05on by and watching any of those sorts just drift away.
- 13:13Breathe deeply as you allow the sounds of the magnificent
- 13:18ocean to wash over. You can you hear the gentle
- 13:24sounds of the waves. They're still there. Breathe in deeply
- 13:32and slowly and gently breathe out, and you are very
- 13:39sleepy now.
- 13:41Speaker 2: So tired, so sleepy.
- 13:45Speaker 1: You've had a long day. And then you realize that
- 13:50you are back in your very own bed now, and
- 13:55you wonder how that happened.
- 13:58Speaker 2: It's a kind of magic.
- 14:03Speaker 1: You snuggle down and get very comfy, and you feel
- 14:08yourself going deeper and deeper into beautiful, blissful sleep, feeling
- 14:18so peaceful, so calm, so relaxed, and you can still
- 14:26hear the waves. With each passing wave, your body becomes
- 14:33lighter and lighter, and you have become like the waves,
- 14:42one with the ocean. So just listen to the sounds
- 14:48of the beautiful, deep eocean and.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Just rest, just sleep.
