- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome, donal Lani. We were just complimenting James to give
- 0:03Speaker 1: him a big head. Yeah, we like him.
- 0:06Speaker 2: He's back. Wait will this be like on was that
- 0:10Speaker 2: South Park where their heads like inflated that one time
- 0:13Speaker 2: with those collars or whatever? Is that gonna happen? I
- 0:16Speaker 2: don't want to watch that.
- 0:17Speaker 3: I don't know. Don't worry. I have a deflator else. Okay,
- 0:22Speaker 3: I'm not gonna pop like a balloon. It'll be okay. Yeah,
- 0:24Speaker 3: good Well, you're a random hissing noise. That's just me
- 0:28Speaker 3: in the corner.
- 0:29Speaker 4: On the Lannai is part of the Odd Pods media networks.
- 0:55Speaker 1: Like Blanches Boobs in that one episode.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Oh god, yes, couple of weeks ago or no, gosh,
- 1:02Speaker 2: it was like half a season ago. Now the actor
- 1:05Speaker 2: actor where they're all trying to be in a play
- 1:08Speaker 2: with his famous TV actor and Be walks out or
- 1:12Speaker 2: not Be walks out with these giant boobs and he
- 1:18Speaker 2: pulls her in close in this scene and they pop.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Says I seem to have popped your bosom.
- 1:23Speaker 3: Popped your bosom, Oh god, place accident, right.
- 1:32Speaker 2: We had such a good time with you. We wanted
- 1:34Speaker 2: you to come back, obviously.
- 1:36Speaker 3: Thank you. For having me. I'm excited to be back.
- 1:38Speaker 2: We were going to talk about last time we were
- 1:41Speaker 2: with you. We were going to talk a little bit
- 1:42Speaker 2: about the Golden Girls Live thing, because two of the
- 1:45Speaker 2: four of us have seen the new show that is
- 1:49Speaker 2: sort of touring around laughs continue, And I haven't seen
- 1:53Speaker 2: that yet or might not see it at all. And
- 1:57Speaker 2: I saw a version that was actually the show that
- 2:00Speaker 2: we did when you were on last week. The fun
- 2:03Speaker 2: Aus Lounge did that exact episode. So I want to
- 2:06Speaker 2: hear about the girls' experience, if you can indulge us.
- 2:10Speaker 1: I love that well they are touring. I guess it's
- 2:13Speaker 1: been the same show two years in a row, but
- 2:16Speaker 1: I could see from online videos that the stage has
- 2:18Speaker 1: gotten better. They've upgraded the props and things so it
- 2:21Speaker 1: looks more authentic. It's like the living room and then
- 2:26Speaker 1: the kitchen right next to each other, and there's a
- 2:29Speaker 1: swinging door, but there's no actual wall, but they'll walk
- 2:33Speaker 1: all the way over to the swinging door, so they
- 2:34Speaker 1: go to the kitchen, which I love. And I don't know,
- 2:39Speaker 1: how old do you think they are? Christian Like? They
- 2:41Speaker 1: look like they're men in their thirties. They look like
- 2:43Speaker 1: very young men.
- 2:44Speaker 5: They looked they seem pretty young, like.
- 2:46Speaker 1: All of them, but they my god, it's a story
- 2:50Speaker 1: about without spoiling too much, is that Blanche and Rose
- 2:55Speaker 1: create an online sex app for seniors called Creaking, and
- 3:01Speaker 1: Sophia gets charged and is on the house arrest for
- 3:05Speaker 1: selling drugs at Shady Pines. Yes, she like, what did
- 3:09Speaker 1: she break her hips? So she got put in there temporarily.
- 3:12Speaker 6: Yeah, she had broken her hip, so she so Dorothy
- 3:15Speaker 6: temporarily had her at Shady Pines for like rehab, and
- 3:19Speaker 6: she started selling pot and LSD LSD yeah.
- 3:24Speaker 3: To the seniors, so once again pot is a gateway
- 3:28Speaker 3: drug spoilers.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Rose accidentally has some LST and it's gold. They have
- 3:35Speaker 1: one man playing Stanley, a love interest for Dorothy. Doesn't
- 3:42Speaker 1: he play someone else?
- 3:43Speaker 3: Evil?
- 3:44Speaker 1: An evil Rose LSD Rose.
- 3:46Speaker 6: There's only five actors to do the whole thing, so
- 3:50Speaker 6: it's the four girls.
- 3:51Speaker 2: And then this like the one guy that swings the.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Love interests of Dorothy's Burt Reynolds. For some reason, that's
- 3:58Speaker 1: what the name him. But it's no relation. Okay, But
- 4:03Speaker 1: the actor who plays Blanche like, I think so perfect,
- 4:09Speaker 1: don'trothy like, talk's all slow? But then we'll ad lib
- 4:13Speaker 1: as his own voice'll be like I'm gonna fucking slappy
- 4:16Speaker 1: bitch again. Like the audience goes nuts.
- 4:19Speaker 5: And they have a lot of physical comedy in it.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Yes, Rose did a death drop, a proper drag queen
- 4:25Speaker 1: death drop.
- 4:25Speaker 3: Yes.
- 4:28Speaker 1: And I took my mom with me, and yeah, there
- 4:31Speaker 1: was people of all ages at me.
- 4:33Speaker 5: He had a great time too. I was like, okay, Mom, usually.
- 4:37Speaker 1: I'm dressing up at my show. Maybe because it was
- 4:40Speaker 1: right for Halloween, but or no, it was right after
- 4:43Speaker 1: it was.
- 4:44Speaker 6: This was the funniest moment for me, just with experience
- 4:47Speaker 6: it with my mother, because they were making a joke
- 4:49Speaker 6: about pearl necklaces and.
- 4:53Speaker 5: I look at my mom. She goes, I know what
- 4:55Speaker 5: that is. I read fifty shits what I'm like, okay, Mom, okay, yeah.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Rose was like, I don't know. I had to kneel
- 5:05Speaker 1: down to get a pearl necklace.
- 5:07Speaker 2: I lived my whole life not having those conversations intentionally
- 5:11Speaker 2: with my family. I'm not trying to put myself in
- 5:13Speaker 2: that conversation my mom.
- 5:15Speaker 3: Oh I got forced into that one.
- 5:17Speaker 5: My mom, cool, we're buddies.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Were you attempted to ask her like if she got
- 5:22Speaker 1: in one crystal, like I.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Don't want it out.
- 5:26Speaker 5: I didn't want to know.
- 5:28Speaker 1: I could have had a brother, but he was on
- 5:29Speaker 1: your neck.
- 5:33Speaker 5: But it was a great show.
- 5:36Speaker 6: Like just before the intermission, they're like pulling stuff out
- 5:39Speaker 6: of Sophia's bag to like hawk the merch.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Oh yeah, it was like a five minute merch speech
- 5:46Speaker 1: was really.
- 5:47Speaker 5: Clever and fun.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Oh we should show our merchy up.
- 5:50Speaker 5: Oh yeah, I got my Saint Olaf clacky fan back in.
- 5:57Speaker 1: There was a there was like five Clacker fans. I
- 6:01Speaker 1: bought the I bought the gift bag that has the tote,
- 6:07Speaker 1: the t shirt. They all have the same image on them,
- 6:12Speaker 1: so you gotta really like that image.
- 6:14Speaker 5: We'll have to take pictures since it's hard for audio.
- 6:19Speaker 1: But but what you can't see this button when I
- 6:21Speaker 1: say it, I see it.
- 6:24Speaker 2: Just fine. What are you guys doing wrong at home?
- 6:26Speaker 2: We can all.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Which I don't know how. You gotta get good at this.
- 6:33Speaker 2: You're doing it with your right hand. I gotta do no, No,
- 6:37Speaker 2: you're fine. You just have to grab from the side.
- 6:41Speaker 2: I remember yesterday or the other day we were talking
- 6:44Speaker 2: about it.
- 6:45Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, there you go.
- 6:48Speaker 2: You gotta like just snap that one bit and snap
- 6:53Speaker 2: your wrists.
- 6:53Speaker 1: You gotta make like a sassy comment and then do it.
- 6:56Speaker 3: You gotta dive deep into yourself and find the inner
- 6:58Speaker 3: gay man.
- 7:00Speaker 1: I'll look for.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Him, the inner gay man, or Purdle. Purdle is exceptional
- 7:06Speaker 2: with her claggy fans. She also can I have a
- 7:09Speaker 2: friend that's a performer that is also a dominatrix. But
- 7:11Speaker 2: she can breathe or not breathe fire, she can eat,
- 7:14Speaker 2: she can breathe, she can fire dance. Fuck you get
- 7:19Speaker 2: off James's last show everybody he managed to get fired
- 7:25Speaker 2: from an unpaid gig.
- 7:27Speaker 3: She does the bare minimum. It's magnificent. It's just.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Tails carbon dioxide or dioxide, not monoxide.
- 7:37Speaker 3: Oh yeah, don't do that.
- 7:39Speaker 1: The only other thing I was like I had to
- 7:41Speaker 1: buy was Sophia and my Codd's so cute. It's a
- 7:43Speaker 1: little squishy like stress ball.
- 7:47Speaker 5: I love her purse.
- 7:49Speaker 1: And I've been playing with it. Yeah, if only someone
- 7:53Speaker 1: would just sell her freaking purse, we would all buy it.
- 7:57Speaker 1: I think James would buy it.
- 7:59Speaker 2: I think we all got really sad. Just now.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Make us the first James. We'll commission it.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Well, I learned last night, so I made these led
- 8:10Speaker 3: trays right for for this event, and I bought pre
- 8:14Speaker 3: fabricated LED strap. They're meant for guitars, but I just
- 8:19Speaker 3: liked their style and the way that they look for
- 8:21Speaker 3: these clear crylic trays to pass out caviar. I'm learning
- 8:25Speaker 3: very quickly that I need to make my own leather,
- 8:27Speaker 3: well not the leather itself, but like do my own
- 8:29Speaker 3: leather work, because waiting on another fabricator for their stuff
- 8:33Speaker 3: to get in in time caused some issues. And so yeah,
- 8:37Speaker 3: that might be in the in the pipeline, I'm going
- 8:40Speaker 3: to be making some clear acrylic LED trays and purses.
- 8:46Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, like stadium bag size approved made of stadiums.
- 8:56Speaker 3: I have dream.
- 8:58Speaker 1: That's right, is it wicker wicker camboo.
- 9:03Speaker 2: But it's that like I don't think hers is real wicker.
- 9:06Speaker 2: I think it's that like retro like plasticized.
- 9:11Speaker 3: Like what those launchairs were made out of.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Kind of yeah, like a thinner filament, yes, like that.
- 9:17Speaker 2: But I've found some like similar purses, but they're always
- 9:22Speaker 2: so expensive because people know what they have, And so
- 9:26Speaker 2: I have a black version of that clamshell type of
- 9:29Speaker 2: purse that's not it's too square, it's not the right shape,
- 9:34Speaker 2: and it was like forty or fifty bucks at a
- 9:36Speaker 2: vintage store. Hers always go for at least that much,
- 9:40Speaker 2: if not more.
- 9:41Speaker 1: I'm willing to pay.
- 9:43Speaker 2: I have to do a lot of work to get
- 9:46Speaker 2: it to have like the right trim and stuff. So
- 9:48Speaker 2: I've just not found one that's a good enough bass.
- 9:51Speaker 2: The handles are usually wrong, although in the episode we
- 9:55Speaker 2: watched last week, one of the beads on the handle
- 9:57Speaker 2: was missing, and then I was like, how many of
- 9:59Speaker 2: Sofia's persons where they're really?
- 10:01Speaker 3: Oh?
- 10:01Speaker 1: But there was a few.
- 10:02Speaker 2: Did they just repair it or what was the We
- 10:06Speaker 2: weren't as like like when I worked doing film costuming,
- 10:10Speaker 2: like for Would You Rather? Britney Snow had like six
- 10:15Speaker 2: of the same dress that she wore in that film
- 10:18Speaker 2: because we had to have one that had like a
- 10:19Speaker 2: hole in it from when she had stabbed spoiler. But
- 10:22Speaker 2: also that was a thirteen year ago movie.
- 10:24Speaker 3: Watch it.
- 10:25Speaker 2: And then we had one that was like bloodier but
- 10:29Speaker 2: had the whole I have one in my uh. No
- 10:32Speaker 2: one is buying on poshmark because the things that stories
- 10:36Speaker 2: wouldn't take back costumers usually end up divvying up, or
- 10:39Speaker 2: it goes to studio and that was an indie film,
- 10:41Speaker 2: So I have a size two lavender lace dress that
- 10:47Speaker 2: we didn't use that H and M wouldn't take back.
- 10:50Speaker 1: It's no, no, it's not screen used. It's just then
- 10:55Speaker 1: it might sell you know.
- 10:58Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:58Speaker 2: Anyway, long story short, too late period.
- 11:01Speaker 3: Yeah, we had to have was it six different Geppettos
- 11:05Speaker 3: like the puppets because it's spoiler alert. He goes into
- 11:09Speaker 3: the dogfish right, and so he's covered in just like goop.
- 11:12Speaker 3: So there's that Geppetto and then there's the like young
- 11:15Speaker 3: and vivacious whatever Geppetto early on in the story. Young.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I know a lot about other like Tim Burton
- 11:26Speaker 2: style stop animation. Did you have like a workshow? And
- 11:30Speaker 2: I probably could just go to PDX because I think
- 11:33Speaker 2: that little exhibit is still up in Pedio.
- 11:35Speaker 3: They just took it out. Fuck.
- 11:38Speaker 2: Tiny chef was there and I was trying to get
- 11:40Speaker 2: her to look at both of those things, and I
- 11:43Speaker 2: don't think she did because she was just trying to
- 11:44Speaker 2: get out of the airport and over to me that
- 11:48Speaker 2: hallway that that display is at the edge of that
- 11:50Speaker 2: hallway and you've just like run your marathon from that terminal.
- 11:55Speaker 2: It's it wasn't a you. It wasn't a place where
- 11:58Speaker 2: you were like, I'm I'm a stop hearing look at this.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Sorry.
- 12:04Speaker 2: It was like, oh, I'm so close to the front
- 12:06Speaker 2: door of my bag, I gotta go. It was that anyway,
- 12:11Speaker 2: were there tons and tons of like heads and things
- 12:13Speaker 2: like Jack had hundreds of heads for Nightmare before Christmas
- 12:17Speaker 2: because of the expressions.
- 12:19Speaker 3: Right, it depended on the character what's known as replacement animation.
- 12:24Speaker 3: So instead of like Geppetto had like little screws in
- 12:28Speaker 3: his head that you would rotate and that would manipulate
- 12:31Speaker 3: these little paddles that causes like the mouth to move
- 12:33Speaker 3: or the eyebrows to go up and down. There's Spas,
- 12:37Speaker 3: who was this little monkey character that was part of
- 12:40Speaker 3: the carnival from like the nose down, like this whole
- 12:44Speaker 3: jowl kind of area was replaceable and it was held
- 12:47Speaker 3: on with magnets. And so for every like mouth movement
- 12:50Speaker 3: or expression, you'd have to take that out and put
- 12:52Speaker 3: the next one in. So some characters, yes, had hundreds
- 12:56Speaker 3: upon hundreds of mouths or faces depending on what they were.
- 13:01Speaker 5: That's so cool.
- 13:02Speaker 2: I'm fascinated. I like I like sculpting so much that
- 13:07Speaker 2: I made a hideous and I will never show it
- 13:09Speaker 2: to you, so we will not speak of this after
- 13:11Speaker 2: this show it. But I made a not exactly Jeff
- 13:15Speaker 2: Goldbloom looking giant wizard head last year I did a
- 13:18Speaker 2: wicked Christmas tree where I blended half pink half green,
- 13:21Speaker 2: and then I sculpted his wood gold face that comes
- 13:27Speaker 2: out and talks is the wizard in the film, and
- 13:29Speaker 2: put it on top of the very heavy I used
- 13:31Speaker 2: like air foam clay, whatever the fuck that's.
- 13:34Speaker 3: Called, and automagic.
- 13:37Speaker 2: I didn't use that one. I used like Jung Joe.
- 13:43Speaker 3: Tall ball.
- 13:44Speaker 2: I don't know, some random name from Amazon that, but
- 13:48Speaker 2: I it was neon green and I painted it gold
- 13:51Speaker 2: and I had a really good time doing it. I
- 13:53Speaker 2: love sculpting little things like that, but I don't know
- 13:56Speaker 2: if I could make a hundred look this ant. That's
- 13:58Speaker 2: why I've never finished my children's book, because I can't.
- 14:01Speaker 2: My polar Bear doesn't look the same page after page.
- 14:05Speaker 2: It looks like an eighties cartoon skill.
- 14:09Speaker 3: Yeah, I just remembered I have let's see, it'll show
- 14:11Speaker 3: up with the blur. Yeah cool from one of the
- 14:16Speaker 3: original molds. Yeah. Oh wow, he's so he's so upset.
- 14:20Speaker 1: Where'd you get that?
- 14:21Speaker 3: Man? I can't say?
- 14:23Speaker 1: Oh, fair, fair dam Burton's garbage.
- 14:30Speaker 2: All right, Oh, we've geeked out a little bit. Should
- 14:33Speaker 2: we maybe head towards episode Town episode down too?
- 14:38Speaker 3: I love that Town Lovely Coffee.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Shop Season two, episode twenty five is called a Piece
- 14:44Speaker 1: of Cake. The director was Terry Hughes, the writers were
- 14:48Speaker 1: Barry Fernaro and Terry Grossman, and the original lair date
- 14:51Speaker 1: was May ninth, nineteen eighty seven. So based on the title,
- 14:56Speaker 1: Kristen and James, what do you think a piece of
- 14:58Speaker 1: cake will be about?
- 15:00Speaker 3: Hi?
- 15:02Speaker 2: One other name?
- 15:02Speaker 3: Is your name?
- 15:03Speaker 1: Kristen?
- 15:07Speaker 6: Somebody spent all night making a cake and then the
- 15:11Speaker 6: next morning there's a piece of cake missing.
- 15:13Speaker 1: Oh who do you think? Hate it?
- 15:15Speaker 5: Somebody ruined that cake?
- 15:17Speaker 2: That asshole Lanche probably put all the food on the table.
- 15:19Speaker 3: Put Yeah, I think that it's the postman comes by,
- 15:33Speaker 3: uh comes by, and for whatever reason they open the door,
- 15:37Speaker 3: as he's always walking away, and so there's just, you know,
- 15:40Speaker 3: this opportunity that they could you introduce themselves to him.
- 15:43Speaker 3: But they think it'll be a piece of cake, but
- 15:45Speaker 3: it's not. They just want the cake.
- 15:50Speaker 1: I love that I need him to guess every episode
- 15:52Speaker 1: and we record it and play like, here's what James's
- 15:55Speaker 1: guest was.
- 15:57Speaker 2: I already was like, do we let James do the
- 16:00Speaker 2: villain this week?
- 16:03Speaker 1: I mean, if he's willing to, I.
- 16:06Speaker 3: Don't want to want Okay, sure, why not. Let's oh, Ship,
- 16:11Speaker 3: this will.
- 16:11Speaker 2: Send you extra hazard pay extra hazard pay two things?
- 16:16Speaker 2: One I forgot them and two. Uh I had already
- 16:20Speaker 2: said two things, so I had to come up with
- 16:22Speaker 2: something last minute. Yeah, Ship, what was it? It's gone? Nope,
- 16:29Speaker 2: all right, don't don't get.
- 16:34Speaker 3: Old step in front of that.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Bus, I guess, and Kristin, who do you in back? Sorry?
- 16:41Speaker 2: Really quick? Okay, yes, I almost spit take when James
- 16:46Speaker 2: was talking, and I just want to say I did
- 16:48Speaker 2: not remember to sip away from my computer.
- 16:51Speaker 1: She just got that new computer, James.
- 16:54Speaker 2: Oh no, yeah, anyway, sorry, okay, I'm done now.
- 16:58Speaker 1: And she already done this spit take on it already,
- 17:00Speaker 1: and we're like, you're going to ruin this.
- 17:02Speaker 3: New computer because of my tech issues. Yes, our last episode,
- 17:06Speaker 3: I have started looking at newer, better computers because I
- 17:09Speaker 3: think that that's that's my problem.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Oh, could be they go out of date so fast
- 17:14Speaker 1: as soon as you open the box.
- 17:16Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like rolling the car off the lot. It's
- 17:18Speaker 3: like it appreciate so fast.
- 17:20Speaker 5: Yes, exactly.
- 17:22Speaker 1: So if James is going to be the villain Aaron
- 17:24Speaker 1: and Kristin, who do you think the villain will be?
- 17:27Speaker 1: That would be hard for him to prove? Well, okay,
- 17:31Speaker 1: then just then, just Kristen.
- 17:35Speaker 3: Solutions.
- 17:36Speaker 1: I could I could help you. I guess, I don't know.
- 17:39Speaker 2: I don't want him to not ever come back, so
- 17:41Speaker 2: I don't want to pick something too hard.
- 17:43Speaker 5: Well, how about Blanche Blanche?
- 17:46Speaker 1: Sure, Blanch is fun.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Yeah, we don't have a Blanche. You're our honorary Blanche.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Now we had a Blanche and then she had stepped
- 17:54Speaker 2: aside some personal stuff going on, and and so we
- 17:58Speaker 2: went from four people to three people. So you can
- 18:00Speaker 2: be our fillin.
- 18:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Can you do a southern accent? James?
- 18:04Speaker 3: Oh? I sure can. Don't you even worry about it.
- 18:09Speaker 3: I can do it? Just fine?
- 18:11Speaker 1: Oh my god. I think he was in the stage
- 18:12Speaker 1: show we show, right, that was like perfect.
- 18:17Speaker 2: I'm not saying that James went to the same voice
- 18:20Speaker 2: acting academy I did where it's generic steel Magnolia's southern.
- 18:25Speaker 2: But I love it.
- 18:27Speaker 5: It's fantastic.
- 18:28Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like, whenever it's a more femine for character,
- 18:32Speaker 3: it's always like a Georgian Southern. But whenever it's a
- 18:35Speaker 3: male character, it's or male forward. It's almost always texting.
- 18:39Speaker 1: Oh okay, give us give us that.
- 18:43Speaker 3: Oh sure, a nice little text and accient. I could
- 18:46Speaker 3: do that for you all day.

- 19:05Speaker 2: That's what you said.
- 19:06Speaker 3: Yeah, but apparently my computer's processor. If I'm like doing
- 19:09Speaker 3: video call and that, you can't handle it. But if
- 19:12Speaker 3: I'm just recording audio, it's fine.
- 19:14Speaker 1: It's like, oh no, thank you, a very strong no,
- 19:17Speaker 1: thank you.
- 19:19Speaker 2: Your computer was like, don't be friends with this girl,
- 19:22Speaker 2: she's weird.
- 19:23Speaker 3: No, my computer is my wing man. Just like I'm sorry, sir,
- 19:28Speaker 3: you need to step away.
- 19:30Speaker 5: Sorry.
- 19:31Speaker 2: Do you take your computer like bars and stuff too?
- 19:34Speaker 3: There?
- 19:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I know your speed dating is a computer?
- 19:37Speaker 1: Like sorry, you like that movie her in your pocket?
- 19:42Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, make sure the battery is fully charged, and
- 19:46Speaker 3: just like occasional, I'll hear this voice say full stop

- 21:11Speaker 2: What was the name of the hospital yesterday?
- 21:14Speaker 3: I know? Fuck?

- 21:20Speaker 3: This game?
- 21:21Speaker 5: General hospital? I will never forget that again.
- 21:26Speaker 2: It's not a question. And also we can't use that
- 21:28Speaker 2: because I said yesterday, because I'm dumb. So make your note, Gina.

- 21:54Speaker 2: are the rules for those of you who are playing,
- 21:56Speaker 2: wait to try. Yeah, good luck you on her system.
- 22:01Speaker 2: Let us know how many you got right? Your name
- 22:05Speaker 2: is your buzzer. Let me read the question completely. Okay,
- 22:11Speaker 2: let's go. What does Rose call her balloon animal?
- 22:16Speaker 1: Gina? Yes, Scottie, yeah, yeah.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Okay, all right, what does Dorothy somewhat villainously change its
- 22:26Speaker 2: name to?
- 22:28Speaker 1: Gina?
- 22:29Speaker 2: Yes?
- 22:30Speaker 1: Garbage? Yeah, Now it's garbage.
- 22:38Speaker 2: And after after that, after that loss last week, I
- 22:41Speaker 2: could see.
- 22:42Speaker 1: How motivated cut me, Mike cut me.
- 22:46Speaker 2: What does Sophie as a Roberta still tries to find
- 22:50Speaker 2: on Sunday Nights on TV? James, Oh, Kristen was first,
- 22:56Speaker 2: but James was passionate and smoke.
- 22:59Speaker 3: Yep, yeah, that was one of my notes.
- 23:01Speaker 2: Okay, what is the name of the restaurant that Rose
- 23:05Speaker 2: throws Dorothy's party at?
- 23:07Speaker 5: Christina?
- 23:09Speaker 1: I think I thought it was Kristen.
- 23:11Speaker 2: I think it was Kristen.
- 23:15Speaker 5: Ha ha, ha has hot Dog Hacienda.
- 23:19Speaker 2: I'm gonna ask Gina for a ruling on this one.
- 23:23Speaker 1: Can you give us more? Christen? There's one more word there.
- 23:28Speaker 5: Ha has hot Dog Hoscienda.
- 23:31Speaker 1: And who is the person? What is his title?
- 23:35Speaker 3: The clown?
- 23:36Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 23:37Speaker 1: What's what's his title?
- 23:39Speaker 3: Ha? Ha?
- 23:39Speaker 5: The clown?
- 23:40Speaker 1: What do you call a gentleman?
- 23:43Speaker 3: Poor? No?
- 23:46Speaker 2: Uh, I don't know what to do here. It's got it. Yeah,
- 23:51Speaker 2: I guess we'll give you the point. But it's oh,
- 23:55Speaker 2: mister hot dog.
- 23:57Speaker 1: She looked at me like I was crazy.
- 23:58Speaker 5: She's like, oh my, don't what.
- 24:01Speaker 2: We're not?
- 24:02Speaker 3: I was a loss for you.
- 24:04Speaker 1: I was mis She got it right, apparently.
- 24:08Speaker 2: Yeah, apparently, Horror. I didn't know those words were interchangeable.
- 24:13Speaker 5: Amazing, hor Ha.
- 24:14Speaker 2: I'm gonna start sending out my email, my work emails.
- 24:17Speaker 2: Dear Horror, so and so you are anyway the gender
- 24:24Speaker 2: neutral term the genders it is.
- 24:26Speaker 3: It is gender neutral.
- 24:28Speaker 2: It is, yeah, right, along with slat. How much is
- 24:36Speaker 2: a mister Haha dog without the beverage?
- 24:40Speaker 1: Gina?
- 24:41Speaker 2: It was James.
- 24:43Speaker 3: Dollars seventy five.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Oh, no like Gina, Yes, Gina a dollar seventy nine.
- 24:50Speaker 2: Yeah, it was dollar seventy nine.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Marketing prices.
- 24:53Speaker 8: James, it down wrong, sorry, nine nine nine.
- 25:03Speaker 2: All right, let's try again, Well, not again. It's a
- 25:06Speaker 2: new question. When mister Haha asks Dorothy to go on stage,
- 25:11Speaker 2: what is the first response she has?
- 25:14Speaker 3: James, Yeah, Rose, you didn't.
- 25:18Speaker 2: No, because that's he she he hasn't asked Dorothy to
- 25:22Speaker 2: come up yet. After he says her, I'm going to
- 25:25Speaker 2: clarify this for you only because you're not normally here.
- 25:27Speaker 2: After because yes, she says that first, that is the
- 25:32Speaker 2: first thing that she says. But he hadn't said her
- 25:34Speaker 2: name yet, So after he says Dorothy's Barnac, what does she.
- 25:38Speaker 3: Say, James okay, strangles Rose. No, okay, she said something.
- 25:46Speaker 1: Okay, I think you get this point.
- 25:48Speaker 2: Yeah, I get this point. She looks. He comes up
- 25:50Speaker 2: to at the table and she says, get bent. Haha.
- 25:55Speaker 1: Oh yeah, sor right, that's okay.
- 25:58Speaker 2: We got more question.
- 25:59Speaker 3: Dang it.
- 26:00Speaker 6: It was just such a delightful episode. We were just
- 26:03Speaker 6: capting sad story.
- 26:05Speaker 1: That sad bit for these villain.
- 26:09Speaker 3: Bit though is beautiful writing.
- 26:12Speaker 2: Oh it was, yeah, but so sad.
- 26:14Speaker 3: And so well performed.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Oh yeah, made you feelings it did.
- 26:19Speaker 3: Actually, yeah, I got a little weepy.
- 26:22Speaker 2: I was like watching your face get like your louth
- 26:25Speaker 2: dropped further open and then you like went to holding
- 26:29Speaker 2: your face like. It was very sad.
- 26:33Speaker 3: Well, first I thought it was just you know, sad
- 26:35Speaker 3: because oh, like nobody is celebrating her birthday with her,
- 26:38Speaker 3: so she had to surprise herself. And then it went
- 26:41Speaker 3: into like the next level of grief where she's mourning
- 26:44Speaker 3: the loss and I'm like, oh, this is so sad.
- 26:47Speaker 5: Yeah, anyway, it was such a treasure.
- 26:50Speaker 2: Here we go. Next question. Dorothy can't shove her cake
- 26:55Speaker 2: in mister Haha's face because mister music is mister lawyer
- 27:00Speaker 2: his brother, But who does shove the cake in Haha's face?
- 27:04Speaker 3: And why James? Yeah, the kid with the receding hairline,
- 27:09Speaker 3: and because that's what she wished.
- 27:11Speaker 2: I'm going to accept that. I'm going to accept that answer.
- 27:14Speaker 1: Was it Brandon?
- 27:16Speaker 3: Bobby?
- 27:17Speaker 1: Bobby?
- 27:17Speaker 3: Bobby? Okay, bam.
- 27:24Speaker 8: He was?
- 27:25Speaker 2: He said that so lovingly, all right. Question eight? How
- 27:30Speaker 2: many months since Charlie's passing do we see Rose celebrating
- 27:34Speaker 2: her birthday alone?
- 27:36Speaker 5: James Kristen, Yes, fittingly enough. Question eight it's eight months?
- 27:43Speaker 2: Oh shit, totally unplanned? Yeah, purely an accident teacher's parents.
- 27:56Speaker 1: Can we have homework this weekend?
- 27:59Speaker 2: Oh, it's tradition that Rose gets the rose on her cake.
- 28:05Speaker 2: But what color is that? Rose?
- 28:07Speaker 1: Krista couldn't tell.
- 28:09Speaker 5: Yes, was it pink?
- 28:11Speaker 2: Pink? And green?
- 28:13Speaker 1: Oh? Like her sweater.
- 28:15Speaker 6: I always pay attention to the roses because my mom
- 28:17Speaker 6: does cake decoration for fun, and I always look at
- 28:21Speaker 6: the roses.
- 28:23Speaker 3: It is such a skill. I had to make a
- 28:24Speaker 3: bunch of fake pies for a production of Waitress, and
- 28:27Speaker 3: like some there was some piping involved.
- 28:29Speaker 1: Oh man, what do you make that fake pie on us?
- 28:32Speaker 3: So? Remember how I said I love model magic? Oh yeah,
- 28:35Speaker 3: so I use that pink insulation foam, like the board
- 28:38Speaker 3: that you put in your walls, So that was kind
- 28:40Speaker 3: of like the inner foundation. And then I used model
- 28:42Speaker 3: magic for the crust, and depending on what the filling was,
- 28:46Speaker 3: I would use either fake fruit or other materials to
- 28:50Speaker 3: emulate that. And then it was kind of like watercolor
- 28:53Speaker 3: painting where you do schillac. I used the amber colored
- 28:56Speaker 3: shillac and while it was still wet, I would take
- 28:58Speaker 3: in a wood stain and model that in there, so
- 29:02Speaker 3: it would give you that like golden crust.
- 29:04Speaker 1: Shit. You're working hard than making a real pie. Okay,
- 29:08Speaker 1: do we.
- 29:08Speaker 2: Just become best friends? Because in high school I had
- 29:11Speaker 2: to make dozens of foam turkeys with my dad because
- 29:15Speaker 2: I used to do props in a previous life, and
- 29:18Speaker 2: then eventually I went to costumes and now I just
- 29:20Speaker 2: do art stuff for fun. But I made we made
- 29:23Speaker 2: like I think either, I was like twenty four turkeys
- 29:28Speaker 2: for all the chorus dancers and Hello Dolly and Harmonia Gardens,
- 29:33Speaker 2: and we just glued foam soft like cushion foam together
- 29:37Speaker 2: and cut them till they look like it, and then
- 29:39Speaker 2: we spray painted them and glued the little feet on
- 29:42Speaker 2: and it's a lot of fun to make stuff. I'm
- 29:44Speaker 2: very jealous of your life and we'll probably force myself
- 29:48Speaker 2: into it more. You're welcome, You're welcome for me.
- 29:57Speaker 5: Get to keep on giving, wait.
- 29:59Speaker 2: Till I ask you to stay. Had a podcast with me?
- 30:01Speaker 2: All right? So what does Sophia and.
- 30:05Speaker 1: Say making crap with Aaron and James.
- 30:07Speaker 2: What does Sophia say She always wanted to be Yes.
- 30:12Speaker 5: A ballerina?
- 30:13Speaker 2: Yes, right at forty eight.
- 30:18Speaker 5: Hey, she would have had fifty yeah, two more years
- 30:22Speaker 5: to dream.
- 30:23Speaker 3: She could pull in the lane stretch.
- 30:26Speaker 2: God, that woman. Yeah, she worked up until, like I'm fifty,
- 30:32Speaker 2: the last minute possible she was. She spit fire, all right.
- 30:37Speaker 2: Why won't sal come out of the bedroom?
- 30:40Speaker 1: Gina? Yes, and Sophia hit him. Yeah, I don't know
- 30:46Speaker 1: if you want the rest of it.
- 30:47Speaker 2: I did want all of it with a piece of bread. Yeah, yeah,
- 30:51Speaker 2: five day old bread, which as someone who's dog high
- 30:57Speaker 2: bread all over the house because she's an asshole. It's
- 31:00Speaker 2: always very sharp, just fun fact. It's essentially biscotti at
- 31:04Speaker 2: that point, and if you step on it, it don't
- 31:06Speaker 2: walk painful.
- 31:08Speaker 3: Yeah, So it's like bread legos.
- 31:14Speaker 2: Kristin. I have an idea for a product. Let's make
- 31:16Speaker 2: legos out of bread.
- 31:18Speaker 1: Lego, it's lego.
- 31:19Speaker 2: She's like, here's all the nine reasons you can't.
- 31:21Speaker 1: Have Okay, sanitary purposes, free bread. If you step on bread,
- 31:28Speaker 1: would he give you wouldn't irritate your skin?
- 31:32Speaker 5: Maybe I don't.
- 31:34Speaker 2: Maybe I don't know that you've rubbed bread on your
- 31:36Speaker 2: body before. No, we can find out. Let's find Colorado.
- 31:40Speaker 1: It's giving me pen ready.
- 31:42Speaker 3: Camera pants to the side, soft haze covers the screen,
- 31:46Speaker 3: and it's just Kristin rubbing bread on herself in a bath.
- 31:49Speaker 1: Just like, oh, you're saying we need only fans for that.
- 31:55Speaker 1: With your feet though, people love feet.
- 31:58Speaker 3: So it's two feet holding a piece of bread rubbing
- 32:00Speaker 3: it on Christen's body.
- 32:02Speaker 1: Oh god, my feet are rubbing it. Oh yeah, oh
- 32:04Speaker 1: I like it.
- 32:06Speaker 2: James is full of amazing ideas.
- 32:08Speaker 5: Yes, you're not rubbing bread on me.
- 32:11Speaker 1: Come on, we gotta know what's for science.
- 32:13Speaker 6: I'm Celiac, so I get really sick with gluten.
- 32:17Speaker 1: Yeah, even if she has her husband and he's had bread,
- 32:20Speaker 1: it affects her. So I bet I bet rubbing it
- 32:22Speaker 1: on her would do it.
- 32:24Speaker 2: What if we put you in like a gimp suit
- 32:26Speaker 2: and then just like rubbed it around on the suit.
- 32:29Speaker 6: You'd have to pay me tens of thousands of dollars.
- 32:34Speaker 2: Whatever, let's just finish this quiz instead.
- 32:38Speaker 3: Yeah, Blanche, surprise persons like genuinely afraid that we're gonna
- 32:43Speaker 3: rub bread?
- 32:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I would you come at me with that bread?
- 32:49Speaker 3: You see a mysterious man hiding behind a dumpster with
- 32:51Speaker 3: a loaf. It's not me.
- 32:53Speaker 2: She came up here and got me hooked on a
- 32:56Speaker 2: gluten free bakery. I don't even need to buy eighty
- 32:58Speaker 2: six dollars pastry. He's like, I can, I can. I
- 33:01Speaker 2: have to eat gluten, but I can. And yet my
- 33:06Speaker 2: favorite keysh is down at hole is hold the wee?
- 33:09Speaker 2: Is that?
- 33:13Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 33:14Speaker 2: And it's all like seventies like pink and orange like kitchen,
- 33:19Speaker 2: but it's very cool place. Yeah all right, So Blanche's
- 33:23Speaker 2: surprise party was a real surprise that first year. But
- 33:27Speaker 2: why Kristin?
- 33:30Speaker 5: Yes, because Blanche hates surprise parties.
- 33:34Speaker 1: Gina, Yes, Gina, because they invited the guests out of
- 33:38Speaker 1: her little black book.
- 33:40Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, okay, only invited her little sex buddies.
- 33:45Speaker 3: Who's gonna spank me?
- 33:46Speaker 1: First spank line?
- 33:51Speaker 2: Yeah? What were big Spen and Little s Fen celebrating Kristin.
- 33:57Speaker 5: Yes, they're smoked herring HOGI.
- 34:01Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it's always hairy.
- 34:07Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 34:07Speaker 2: I mean I think I'd rather have a smoked hearing
- 34:10Speaker 2: HOGI than a cup of potato juice and a vat
- 34:13Speaker 2: of fish.
- 34:14Speaker 5: So I guess.
- 34:16Speaker 2: So, yeah, I guess that's the fun you knew to
- 34:19Speaker 2: town if you had to.
- 34:20Speaker 1: Choose, choose.
- 34:24Speaker 3: Vat of fish.
- 34:26Speaker 2: Roberta who never arrives for her own party was never
- 34:30Speaker 2: coming because the party was actually for who.
- 34:32Speaker 5: Kristin, Yes, Blanche, Yes.
- 34:37Speaker 2: Okay, Now we do a super fun say loop. Hi,
- 34:42Speaker 2: I've learned how to talk. This is my first podcast. Everybody,
- 34:46Speaker 2: we play a game here occasionally called last line. That's
- 34:48Speaker 2: part of the quiz, and so I just need to
- 34:50Speaker 2: know who said the last line of the show and
- 34:53Speaker 2: what it was.
- 34:54Speaker 5: Kristin, Yes, was it Sophia. It's konga time.
- 34:59Speaker 2: Yes, Sophia said, then say it's congo time. And then
- 35:04Speaker 2: the men came out and the changed the clubs.
- 35:07Speaker 5: I wrote down it's congo time. I remember who said it.
- 35:10Speaker 5: I'm I'm pretty sure.
- 35:14Speaker 2: Okay, So then this last question is a no stump
- 35:17Speaker 2: bonus point. Now, James these are harder questions that are
- 35:22Speaker 2: cumulative and require some effort. I made sure that this
- 35:26Speaker 2: one was cumulative, that you could participate. You what does
- 35:32Speaker 2: this episode have in common with last week's episode?
- 35:35Speaker 1: Uh?
- 35:37Speaker 3: What, James? They mentioned shady pines.
- 35:42Speaker 2: No, but I think you deserve a point for that.
- 35:45Speaker 2: That's not it. But yes, sure, I'll just tell you
- 35:48Speaker 2: guys because the two people that go here all the
- 35:52Speaker 2: time look confused. Also, both episodes had a character named Bobby,
- 35:58Speaker 2: the little.
- 35:58Speaker 3: Boy at the oh that is a deep dive.
- 36:02Speaker 2: And then the cop played by loon Dog dog Dog
- 36:07Speaker 2: the new sex position cloon Dog. Both of them played
- 36:10Speaker 2: a character named Bobby. It was back to back Bobby.
- 36:13Speaker 2: So I'm guessing someone in the writing staff knew of
- 36:16Speaker 2: Bobby because that's pretty quick turn around to you.
- 36:18Speaker 1: That is part of the trivia.
- 36:21Speaker 2: So yes, oh no, did I take the trivia?
- 36:24Speaker 5: No, it's fine, stop Aaron.
- 36:27Speaker 1: Sometimes things overlap. So who won?
- 36:30Speaker 2: That's it?
- 36:30Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 36:30Speaker 2: Who won?
- 36:31Speaker 1: I know?
- 36:31Speaker 5: I did?
- 36:31Speaker 6: Okay, Aaron had one point two, I got five, and
- 36:39Speaker 6: Kristin got eight.
- 36:41Speaker 1: Fuck you wow, congratulations is what I meant to pronounce
- 36:44Speaker 1: that maybe.
- 36:44Speaker 2: I shouldn't let her take the score anymore.
- 36:47Speaker 3: Like it was eight.
- 36:48Speaker 5: You can do it if you want. I'm eight months of.
- 36:51Speaker 3: Morning eighth question eight points. Gosh, Kristen, you are just.
- 36:55Speaker 2: Like on it, honestly.
- 36:59Speaker 1: Yeah, get a lottery ticket of all EIDs.
- 37:01Speaker 2: That's okay, we'll give We will give James a chance
- 37:04Speaker 2: to redeem his score in a later episode at some point,
- 37:07Speaker 2: because hell yeah, I don't know if you've noticed, but
- 37:10Speaker 2: I've already told you forcibly that you're my friend. So
- 37:14Speaker 2: we'll just bring.
- 37:15Speaker 3: You back package by the front door. It looks gun shaped,
- 37:19Speaker 3: so I think, oh yeah, yeah.
- 37:21Speaker 1: Yeah, all back, good work.
- 37:26Speaker 2: No, because our listeners know there's no way I went
- 37:29Speaker 2: to the post office that quickly.
- 37:34Speaker 1: Then you'd buy a lottery tickets, don't Yeah, don't open that.
- 37:40Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, just don't ask for any gibbets. Those take
- 37:44Speaker 2: a long.
- 37:44Speaker 3: Time again gibbets, Yeah, like a year or something, right,
- 37:47Speaker 3: still waiting, still waiting. It's the perpetual, never ending story.
- 37:52Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, it's been a whole week and I
- 37:54Speaker 2: didn't send them. Basically, jack ass, anyway, that's it.
- 38:00Speaker 1: You're not You sent me a lovely present.
- 38:02Speaker 5: Yeah, you're sweetheart, we love you.
- 38:05Speaker 2: I'm all right, And she.
- 38:06Speaker 1: Sent me a bluey horror art. Have you seen Blooey James?
- 38:10Speaker 1: It's amazing.
- 38:11Speaker 3: That's the kids show right with the Dog. Yeah, I've
- 38:14Speaker 3: not seen it.
- 38:15Speaker 5: It's delightful for.
- 38:16Speaker 1: Yourself a favor.
- 38:17Speaker 2: He doesn't James doesn't stream. He's so busy working all
- 38:20Speaker 2: the time. He doesn't have.
- 38:22Speaker 3: I'm one of those monsters. Yeah.
- 38:23Speaker 1: Oh, you don't have any streaming. Oh.
- 38:25Speaker 3: The only streaming that I do is basical music. Oh okay, okay, yeah,
- 38:30Speaker 3: while I'm working and whatnot.
- 38:32Speaker 2: Do you own? Do you own a TV?
- 38:35Speaker 3: I do? Actually, Okay, I do so, Like occasionally, if
- 38:40Speaker 3: I have to watch something because it's like reference material
- 38:42Speaker 3: for either a character I'm playing or something that I'm
- 38:44Speaker 3: working on, then I'll buy it, Like whatever that particular
- 38:49Speaker 3: ip is, I'll just buy that and then watch it.
- 38:52Speaker 3: Ok So it's on my docket to watch Demon Hunters
- 38:56Speaker 3: K Pop demon Hunters.
- 38:57Speaker 2: Because it's so good.
- 38:58Speaker 3: Everyone talks about how amazing it is. And so when
- 39:00Speaker 3: I'm doing all these mc gigs, part of my improv
- 39:04Speaker 3: and like repertoire with people and talking and stuff is
- 39:06Speaker 3: I need to be up to date on pop culture.
- 39:08Speaker 3: And for the most part, I could just do Google
- 39:10Speaker 3: searches in that spine or brief YouTube clips, but for
- 39:13Speaker 3: K pop there's just so much.
- 39:15Speaker 2: Yeah, it's really good. It's a really cute movie. I
- 39:20Speaker 2: don't typically prefer anime style myself personally. I just I
- 39:25Speaker 2: like softer angles. But it is beautifully animated. The songs
- 39:29Speaker 2: are catchy. I was singing now reference this to the
- 39:33Speaker 2: fact that you know that I can't stop singing songs
- 39:35Speaker 2: from Shocked right now, so I'm very impressionable.
- 39:38Speaker 3: But independently Owned is so good.
- 39:41Speaker 2: It's a fucking killer song. There's another song in the
- 39:45Speaker 2: show that the lead male sings about if she doesn't
- 39:48Speaker 2: want me, somebody will. That's just like gout wrenching, and
- 39:52Speaker 2: I like that song as well. Capop demon Hunter are
- 39:55Speaker 2: two of the songs. I ended up throwing them on
- 39:57Speaker 2: my just my regular genera throughout the day doing stuff playlist,
- 40:02Speaker 2: and it's fun. I mean, you're not gonna probably go like,
- 40:06Speaker 2: get a tattoo of it unless you're impressionable like me,
- 40:09Speaker 2: and then you have random, weird tattoos all over it.
- 40:13Speaker 2: Can you tell us about the villain? Jack?
- 40:15Speaker 3: Absolutely so the villain for this particular episode is absolutely,
- 40:21Speaker 3: without a doubt Blanche. It might be her birthday, but
- 40:24Speaker 3: she is a villain. I cannot even tell you how
- 40:28Speaker 3: disappointed I was that she would that she would be
- 40:32Speaker 3: so ungrateful to her coworkers, right, I mean, they put
- 40:37Speaker 3: in all of that effort, and she just hated it.
- 40:40Speaker 3: She threw up all over the place, or she could
- 40:42Speaker 3: throw up. I mean she probably did so ungrateful. And
- 40:48Speaker 3: then she lied about having fun at the Haha hot
- 40:52Speaker 3: Dog Hacienda. I mean she lied to her friend's faces.
- 40:57Speaker 8: Yeah, that's I mean at that point we should call
- 41:01Speaker 8: her dad, like big Daddy. They lied, Okay, and then
- 41:08Speaker 8: like she has all of these men there for this
- 41:11Speaker 8: surprise party that they've invited into the house. She did
- 41:14Speaker 8: not extend an invitation to any of her housemates she loved.
- 41:18Speaker 8: There's all of these fun fellows and she didn't invite
- 41:22Speaker 8: them into the room.
- 41:23Speaker 2: Yeah that's true.
- 41:25Speaker 3: What if Rose wanted a piece of cake, huh?
- 41:28Speaker 1: Or or you could share?
- 41:32Speaker 3: I mean, blench is so inconsiderate, greedy, She's greedy. She's
- 41:36Speaker 3: so greedy. She is just food, all the men out
- 41:40Speaker 3: bottomless hole of greed. For the For those of you
- 41:46Speaker 3: that like mental images at.
- 41:47Speaker 1: Home, stretched out bottomless hole.
- 41:50Speaker 3: It's kind of like an inflated balloon that you deflate
- 41:52Speaker 3: and it's just kind of like this never goes would Yeah,
- 41:57Speaker 3: only speaking from personal experience.
- 42:01Speaker 1: You read it in a book once.
- 42:03Speaker 2: I'm gonna inflate some balloons and just like let them
- 42:06Speaker 2: go and just leave them around all wrinkly and loose.
- 42:10Speaker 3: That's a fetish, Is it really? Really?
- 42:12Speaker 9: Oh?
- 42:13Speaker 3: Yeah? Oh, there are people that have balloon fetishes that
- 42:16Speaker 3: like inflate balloons and then like rub them on their
- 42:18Speaker 3: bodies or like purposely pop them, and like the popping
- 42:21Speaker 3: is like a thing, Like the feeling of the deflated
- 42:25Speaker 3: balloon is a thing.
- 42:26Speaker 2: Oh, okay, Well, I'm gonna have to start my only
- 42:30Speaker 2: fans when we hang up today.
- 42:31Speaker 3: Okay, with bread rubbing and balloons. Yeah, and Bobby.
- 42:38Speaker 1: Yeah, oh you pop the balloons with five day old bread. Yeah,
- 42:42Speaker 1: over yourself with balloons and it's like a burletque show.
- 42:44Speaker 2: Yeah, Burdle did that actually. So our friend, uh, a
- 42:48Speaker 2: friend of the show, Purtle, who's been on a couple
- 42:50Speaker 2: times during COVID. She was doing burlesque socially distanced and
- 42:55Speaker 2: people were paying her, and so she'd go over to
- 42:57Speaker 2: someone's house and do a very small like strip teas
- 43:00Speaker 2: or balloon dance on their porch but at a distance,
- 43:04Speaker 2: or would do it virtually for them. And so she
- 43:06Speaker 2: made all these outfits and she would like colely like
- 43:10Speaker 2: pop the balloons until she was mostly naked and.
- 43:14Speaker 1: Nice.
- 43:15Speaker 3: I love this so much.
- 43:17Speaker 2: I don't creative, Like, I don't know how we would
- 43:22Speaker 2: like actually get a show done. But I do feel
- 43:25Speaker 2: like if James and Kristen were on the show, that
- 43:27Speaker 2: they would also get along. She is, she's a big.
- 43:31Speaker 5: Personal Yeah, she's also Kristin.
- 43:34Speaker 2: When I'm on the phone with either of them, the
- 43:37Speaker 2: other one gets called other Kristen because it just makes
- 43:40Speaker 2: it easier.
- 43:41Speaker 3: That Yeah, that could be really confusing. Yeah, covid was
- 43:44Speaker 3: wild for creativity. A friend of mine who's a drag
- 43:47Speaker 3: queen that loaded the back of their like pickup truck
- 43:49Speaker 3: with all this pa music equipment and then would drive
- 43:53Speaker 3: to people's houses and do a drag show.
- 43:55Speaker 2: Like cool, It's incredible, And.
- 43:58Speaker 3: So yeah, we shut down used to live in Southeast Portland.
- 44:02Speaker 3: We shut down our street and they parked their truck
- 44:04Speaker 3: in the middle of the street and then like all
- 44:05Speaker 3: the neighbors came out. We had this neighborhood drag show.
- 44:10Speaker 2: That's lovely.
- 44:12Speaker 3: Had I known Purdle Curdle, Yeah, had I known this person,
- 44:16Speaker 3: I probably would have tried to book them for a She.
- 44:18Speaker 2: Would have flown. She flies all over.
- 44:21Speaker 1: She's in.
- 44:23Speaker 2: But she flies all over doing burlesque shows and she's
- 44:28Speaker 2: pretty accomplished. She toured Europe for a while, She did
- 44:30Speaker 2: her domb stuff in Europe for a while.
- 44:32Speaker 1: Like, oh I didn't know that cool? Yeah.
- 44:35Speaker 2: Yeah, we had trackers on her so that we knew
- 44:38Speaker 2: if someone murdered her since she was taking like.
- 44:40Speaker 1: Free clim in Europe.
- 44:43Speaker 2: Yeah, well, we didn't know if she was taken. I
- 44:45Speaker 2: want her to get kidnapped or murdered, so if her
- 44:48Speaker 2: track stopped.
- 44:49Speaker 1: Moving, Yeah that's good, that's smart.
- 44:52Speaker 2: Yeah, we're protective of her, protect the purtle. Anyway, that
- 44:59Speaker 2: was amazing. I can't say enough nice stuff about you,
- 45:04Speaker 2: mister sharing housen.
- 45:05Speaker 3: Ah.
- 45:07Speaker 1: Well, thank you for me, thanks for doing our guest villain.
- 45:11Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, well done.
- 45:14Speaker 3: Awesome, thanks as thank you and y'all are just lovely,
- 45:21Speaker 3: like this has been experience.
- 45:23Speaker 2: Thanks.
- 45:24Speaker 1: We gotta do trivia.
- 45:27Speaker 2: Oh shit, fuck, sorry that I will not do.
- 45:35Speaker 1: That is on my firm, no list.
- 45:37Speaker 3: Okay, for sure, you don't like skeats, give me a.
- 45:41Speaker 2: I was terrified at my last surgery. I was going
- 45:44Speaker 2: to pope on the table. Just a fun side note there.
- 45:47Speaker 2: I was like, I have to go to the bathroom
- 45:49Speaker 2: and she was like, no, no, we'll get you there.
- 45:52Speaker 2: And yeah, I didn't pope on the table, but they
- 45:56Speaker 2: did cathereter me, so I guess I might appede on them.
- 45:59Speaker 2: It's real life.
- 46:00Speaker 3: I feel that. I had a surgery on my lower
- 46:02Speaker 3: back and so I had to like go completely out.
- 46:04Speaker 3: And I remember vividly telling the hospital staff and I
- 46:08Speaker 3: was like, if I fart on them, will you apologize
- 46:10Speaker 3: for me? Please? I'm so sorry.
- 46:14Speaker 2: You're checked in so early in the morning and then
- 46:17Speaker 2: they hook you up the stuff and I.
- 46:18Speaker 3: Was like, I've had a fiber.
- 46:21Speaker 2: I didn't poop you.
- 46:22Speaker 1: Today my morning.
- 46:26Speaker 3: Move.
- 46:27Speaker 2: Okay, ma'am, you can tell the nurse on the admissions desk.
- 46:31Speaker 2: I'm gonna have to poop, ma'am. It's fine. Tell the
- 46:34Speaker 2: nurse I have to poop.
- 46:37Speaker 1: Declare to everyone there, I have to poop.
- 46:40Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, speaking of pooping, some trivia, Okay, pop it.
- 46:46Speaker 3: Out, pinch it off.
- 46:49Speaker 1: Lenny Green was young Dorothy. She plays her four times.
- 46:54Speaker 1: I think they all all the times. I believe Alan
- 46:57Speaker 1: Blumenfeld was mister hah h. He's done a lot of
- 47:01Speaker 1: TV guest spots like Cheers, Remington Steele if you remember,
- 47:05Speaker 1: he was Lou the Plumber in episode nineteen of last season.
- 47:09Speaker 2: Yeah oh with the toilet in the living room.
- 47:11Speaker 1: Low boy boilet Ye. Jeffrey Weber was Bobby, his only
- 47:17Speaker 1: credit on IMDb.
- 47:18Speaker 2: Unfortunately his hairline went further back and no one would hired.
- 47:25Speaker 5: Before Benjamin Button.
- 47:27Speaker 1: Sid Melton plays sal He plays him eight times, but
- 47:32Speaker 1: we only hear him this time. I do believe we
- 47:34Speaker 1: saw him. This is the first of three times. It
- 47:37Speaker 1: feels like more. Estelle Getty is without her old lady makeup,
- 47:41Speaker 1: with their beautiful red hair. The kids with mister haha
- 47:45Speaker 1: were characters named after people who worked on the show.
- 47:48Speaker 2: So ah, you were right there.
- 47:51Speaker 5: So there was a Bobby.
- 47:53Speaker 1: This is the first appearance of Sid Milton stal his
- 47:56Speaker 1: voice only roll. This episode aired four days before sixty
- 48:01Speaker 1: fifth birthday. Now things that were referenced in the show.
- 48:06Speaker 1: Trader Vix was a Polynesian themed restaurant and bar chain.
- 48:10Speaker 1: Yeah Gun Smoke was a Western TV show that ran
- 48:13Speaker 1: for twenty seasons. Wow Rose had an oofed a mug
- 48:18Speaker 1: in her kitchen. Chris Jeff they mentioned him was leader
- 48:22Speaker 1: of the Soviet Union for a while. Your Show of
- 48:25Speaker 1: Shows was a variety show in the fifties with Sid Caesar.
- 48:30Speaker 1: They mentioned Ralph Edwards, an American radio host of Truth
- 48:34Speaker 1: or Consequences, and they mentioned Francis Farmer, who is an actress.
- 48:41Speaker 1: That's only half for you.
- 48:42Speaker 5: Nice.
- 48:43Speaker 3: That's a good trivia.
- 48:44Speaker 2: Hey, that was excellent.
- 48:46Speaker 5: That was great information.
- 48:48Speaker 1: Next week, fucking strap in because it's a backdoor pilot.
- 48:53Speaker 2: Oh that's right, Yeah.
- 48:55Speaker 1: That's what they're called back door body.
- 48:57Speaker 2: Oh yeah, so.
- 48:59Speaker 3: Next the way you phrased it, it's like that fucking
- 49:04Speaker 3: we're not even gonna spit on. This thing.
- 49:08Speaker 1: Is gonna run over you.
- 49:09Speaker 2: Braw doug it. Yeah. I'm I don't remember. I watched
- 49:15Speaker 2: The Golden Girls all the time, obviously, Like this show
- 49:18Speaker 2: was largely created because I forced you guys to want
- 49:21Speaker 2: to watch this. I think I don't remember exactly know
- 49:23Speaker 2: I love this show, but like I don't feel like
- 49:27Speaker 2: I see this next episode that we're gonna watch next week.
- 49:31Speaker 2: The I don't think I've seen the Empty Nest backdoor
- 49:34Speaker 2: pilot episode as much as some of the others. Like
- 49:37Speaker 2: I've definitely seen this Birthday one like a thousand times
- 49:40Speaker 2: because everyone thinks that the Mister Hahas hot Dog Hacienda
- 49:45Speaker 2: is hysterical.
- 49:46Speaker 1: I would eat there.
- 49:47Speaker 2: I would eat there. I also would want to wear
- 49:49Speaker 2: that hat, even though I can tell the prop person
- 49:52Speaker 2: just like staple two dots onto that cheap party store hat,
- 49:57Speaker 2: like you could see the Staples on screen. But the
- 50:01Speaker 2: Empty Nest spin off pilot I don't know anything about.
- 50:06Speaker 2: I can't wait to actually prep for it and like
- 50:09Speaker 2: write the quiz because I don't remember that episode at all.
- 50:11Speaker 1: And that's the season finale too. Yeah, they're like, we're
- 50:14Speaker 1: gonna end this season and try to spin something off.
- 50:17Speaker 1: At the end of season two, they were getting like
- 50:20Speaker 1: full of themselves.
- 50:22Speaker 2: Well, James, where can people find you? I will post
- 50:26Speaker 2: a link in the description of the episodes that you
- 50:28Speaker 2: were on, by the way, thanks to whatever social media
- 50:32Speaker 2: or whatever you would like us to place in there.

- 50:53Speaker 3: comes to social media, so it hasn't been well updated.
- 50:58Speaker 3: I should say. There's a lot of posting that other
- 51:00Speaker 3: people post of my stuff. I'm a stilt walker, I sing, dance,
- 51:03Speaker 3: and act in musical theater, and so you'll see a
- 51:06Speaker 3: lot of that stuff on there. And then I also
- 51:08Speaker 3: do props and set designs for various productions as well
- 51:12Speaker 3: as specialty events, and so you might just see me
- 51:14Speaker 3: around and I'll be nine feet tall, nipe, all right.
- 51:19Speaker 2: I mean there's that, then there's that well, because I
- 51:24Speaker 2: have a friend that does stilt walking at Universal Studios
- 51:28Speaker 2: in California, and whenever I'm around him on stilt, it's
- 51:32Speaker 2: like the most uncomfortable conversations I've had because he tries
- 51:36Speaker 2: to like get down on my level and like crouch
- 51:39Speaker 2: and I'm just like, you look like you're gonna tip
- 51:42Speaker 2: because your butt's too far behind your legs, Like he'll
- 51:45Speaker 2: do that. Kristin, where can they find us?
- 51:49Speaker 5: They can find us across all social medias at on

- 52:04Speaker 9: Hi, I know I got that cheesecake out, but it's
- 52:08Speaker 9: still frozen. Oh no, yeah, I told the box to
- 52:14Speaker 9: let it go.
- 52:17Speaker 6: Oh yeah.
- 52:24Speaker 5: On that note.
- 52:27Speaker 3: That cheesecake needed to go into the unknown.
- 52:34Speaker 1: That bye friends, Bye,
