  [SPEAKER_03]: It is baseball season in the Wilson household that is pretty much in every single weekend event.

  [SPEAKER_03]: For us, pretty much the rest of the way, we do have a two week break around spring break in Easter that we're going to get, which is we're going to be much needed for the Wilson family from baseball, but it is full flood practices every night for somebody at least we're hitting most nights ever at the Wilson hit lab, we're over there.

  [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, we're hitting and throwing and catching in the

  [SPEAKER_03]: are getting in, you know, getting in the mode of baseball, man.

  [SPEAKER_03]: So it's cool to see on that front on the personal front, continuing the grind of the health side.

  [SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to continue to do it for accountability purposes for myself.

  [SPEAKER_03]: thinner as it can be used to go here, though, um, but on that front, feeling good, you know, went through a couple weeks where I don't know what they call those crap COVID 4.0, 5.0, 8.0, that came from China.

  [SPEAKER_03]: But whatever I had, it was not good and it, uh, I don't want to say, do you rail me, but I just didn't have the same momentum.

  [SPEAKER_03]: So feeling back the last week, feeling really good on the physical front.

  [SPEAKER_01]: A lot of national dealers, a lot of national guys.

  [SPEAKER_01]: It was a lot of energy on the show floor and it was funny, man.

  [SPEAKER_01]: A couple of people came up to me and they were like, I would love to hear recordings of Bubba before you grow on the air.

  [SPEAKER_01]: that I love when public gets fired up.

  [SPEAKER_01]: So it is, well, they actually want to hear it after the show.

  [SPEAKER_01]: It's kind of embarrassing, but it's just my body about four years ago.

  [SPEAKER_01]: I had a couple of cycles of gout, which is basically like a

  [SPEAKER_01]: And it's ridiculously painful, and it basically has to do with how your body process is like red meat and alcohol and sugar and stuff like this and so I've kind of got it under wraps for like four years.

  [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm honestly feeling good, no dietary changes, but this weekend of all things it flared up.

  [SPEAKER_01]: And so I have been hobbling around like pissed off and angry that I'm like, why am I, why is my body doing this, you know what I mean?

  [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, what is going on?

  [SPEAKER_01]: And so it's like reinvigorated me to kind of get my stuff in line.

  [SPEAKER_01]: We had to leave early, but anyway, all that said, just being transparent with everybody.

  [SPEAKER_01]: You know, starting to turn the corner a little bit and hopefully kind of get all that stuff in line, but a good reminder like we've been talking about just stay on top of your health, stay on top of your body, make sure you understand what your body's saying to you and you know, don't give it stuff that doesn't like man, it doesn't end up well in the end.

  [SPEAKER_01]: So all that said, the Charlotte car share this weekend was awesome man, just a little note and we mentioned it earlier when current was on there's been a lot of Connor Connor when you call it Connor hate Connor Jade.

  [SPEAKER_01]: And it's interesting because it comes from certain people and it's wild because you see a lot of people who normally buy cards staying away from Connor because they're scared of the comp structure.

  [SPEAKER_01]: You see a lot of I'm talking about repackers and stuff like this.

  [SPEAKER_01]: But dude, I'm telling you at the show, we had gotten some Connor shipped in.

  [SPEAKER_01]: And every single corner card we had sold and sold at great value.

  [SPEAKER_01]: And there's a lot of people who are really excited about, you know, what he's been doing and how he's kind of set in the trend for for baseball is that next guy.

  [SPEAKER_01]: So just food for thought, people are asking for content shows, people are curious, people are looking and, you know, again, that means when I was around him, it's a good time to stay liquid.

  [SPEAKER_01]: You know, I still think there's great long-term potential, but somebody asked us, are you still buying?

  [SPEAKER_01]: As far as the Hamhouse men do, we had a great show in Charlotte, sold a bunch of stuff, honestly buying opportunities are a little bit lean.

  [SPEAKER_01]: There was more Bowman on the show than I've seen in a while, because baseball's here and people were kind of bringing it out.

  [SPEAKER_01]: And so there was a couple of things we were able to pick up, picked up a chased a lot of gold, a Baba Chandler gold, some stuff like that.

  [SPEAKER_01]: But the big news at Hamhouse this week.

  [SPEAKER_01]: But remember the card we bought raw that we showed on the show last week.

  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, little Matt and I absolutely blessed.

  [SPEAKER_01]: We got a PSA4 on the star Jordan that we had bought raw and man it was just it was this I was a static and somebody was like No, I've never seen somebody excited over a four and I was like well, obviously you don't great high in cards Because the difference between a three and a four on a card like that could be you know multiple thousands of dollars and it was and and so as as kind of timing would have it

  [SPEAKER_01]: a star PSA4 ended on fanatics auction last night at like 42k.

  [SPEAKER_01]: And so it is the largest card that we've ever owned.

  [SPEAKER_01]: So to the moon friends for Hamhouse Sports and us being able to get that card in a forward.

  [SPEAKER_03]: Is this still hamhold for ever and see where it goes kind of thing or is this a see where the see where the weather blows that day you know Man, I'm gonna tell you a story.

  [SPEAKER_01]: So I was watching my favorite documentary I mentioned on the show before the defiant ones It's about how Jimmy Avvine and Dr. Dre founded beats by Dre and sold it for 4 billion up and there was a time when the record execs were trying to get Jimmy Avvine

  [SPEAKER_01]: to dump Dr. Dre.

  [SPEAKER_01]: They're like, he's trouble.
• 13:58
  [SPEAKER_01]: He's a problem or whatever.

  [SPEAKER_01]: And Jimmy Avine had a comment or a quote on that show.

  [SPEAKER_01]: He said, but it's the horse I wrote in on.

  [SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, man, you know what I mean?

  [SPEAKER_01]: Like, did something hit me when I listened to that.

  [SPEAKER_01]: He recently, the star Jordan is the horse we wrote in on.

  [SPEAKER_01]: It came to our door, little mat and I graded it and so hand house sports would not exist and so I mean it would exist, but it would not be what it is I don't think if we hadn't have gotten the media attention, the hobby connections when we had that first star Jordan, it catapulted us into a different stratosphere and so it's part of the legacy thing for me so my gut right now is in a hold pattern.

  [SPEAKER_01]: And I also believe if you look at the card and you look at the population and you look at the Jordan star compared to say a Mickey mantle rookie, which is the other iconic rookie, the star Jordan is a less populated card and a PSA 4 of a mantle rookie is going to do 100 grand.

  [SPEAKER_01]: So I still think there's just a viable market value in the star Jordan as a Michael Jordan first licensed product print it.

  [SPEAKER_01]: So I don't know my gut right now is saying hold, but that's not to say that if you know the time came little Matt and I came to a decision.

  [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, $50,000 as a dad of five kids with one getting ready to get his license and have all the things ahead, you know.

  [SPEAKER_01]: But my mind said is like, hey, let's hustle extra hard on the other cards to pay ourselves back for that.

  [SPEAKER_01]: because if we can pay ourselves back for that card two or three times over in the next six months, then we're net free in it.

  [SPEAKER_01]: So that's my kind of thought process.
