- 3:01Speaker 1: you is I have to record again in two and
- 3:02Speaker 1: a half hours, So as long as we're done by that,
- 3:04Speaker 1: I'm good. Yeah. The amount of rage, the amount of rage,
- 3:10Speaker 1: simmering rage. I'm just walking through my week with after
- 3:14Speaker 1: watching this, I know.
- 3:15Speaker 2: That you've already recorded for your show about this. Now,
- 3:19Speaker 2: does your recap uppear on Little Miss Recap or Prime?
- 3:22Speaker 1: Or where does it go? It should be on Murder
- 3:25Speaker 1: she watched, but it's going to be on a Little
- 3:29Speaker 1: miss recap behind our paywall. Yeah, okay.
- 3:32Speaker 2: So also, guys, I say you're listening on the free feed.
- 3:35Speaker 2: This will go next week behind the five dollars paywall.
- 3:40Speaker 1: There's two shows over there right now.
- 3:42Speaker 2: It's going to be this one, which we're in for
- 3:43Speaker 2: the long haul, and then there's a ninety day Hunt
- 3:46Speaker 2: for Love, which which is so good, which I'm also
- 3:48Speaker 2: covering with Amy, which is good, so good. Just watch
- 3:52Speaker 2: that last night And oh.
- 3:54Speaker 1: I didn't watch it yet. Is it a good week? Yeah?
- 3:56Speaker 2: I'm like, Wow, it's getting a real complex with all
- 4:00Speaker 2: these people. And by the way, this week, brand new
- 4:03Speaker 2: person who dis never saw Okay, a person appeared in
- 4:06Speaker 2: the hotep. I go, I've never seen her before, and
- 4:08Speaker 2: I don't think she's on.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Our murder board.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Okay, Oh that's just a sidebar. Also, guys, you know, look,
- 4:17Speaker 2: if you're here, you're here. If you've ever watched this show,
- 4:21Speaker 2: if you want to know why we're so mad, you're
- 4:23Speaker 2: going to.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Have to go back. It's a long we have a
- 4:26Speaker 1: long history with this family.
- 4:28Speaker 2: Long history me specifically Amy specifically.
- 4:32Speaker 1: All other podcasters have covered it. I think I came
- 4:35Speaker 1: in with you. I want to say season five maybe
- 4:38Speaker 1: we definitely covered six together. I want to say we
- 4:41Speaker 1: covered five together.
- 4:43Speaker 2: It could be because when Aaron was on the show
- 4:45Speaker 2: and she would take breaks, you would come in and help. Yes,
- 4:48Speaker 2: you know, you would come in on this show specifically, and.
- 4:50Speaker 1: Yeah, and list this show has been It's like Mary
- 4:55Speaker 1: Payne said, it's very hard to encapsulate the history in
- 5:00Speaker 1: the context in five minutes. But basically what you need
- 5:03Speaker 1: to know is these people are all pretending to be
- 5:05Speaker 1: people they're not. Yeah, that's pretty much it.
- 5:08Speaker 2: Yeah, and I did so if you're listening on the
- 5:10Speaker 2: Free Feet, I did a topper for this show, just
- 5:13Speaker 2: saying like, hey, this won't be here next week, blah
- 5:15Speaker 2: bah blah. And what I said in that topper for
- 5:18Speaker 2: the Freefee that you won't hear if you're listening on
- 5:20Speaker 2: Prime is I am friendly with Olivia. She's not my
- 5:24Speaker 2: best friend or anything, but we're friendly. We've had lunch,
- 5:26Speaker 2: we text sometimes. I believe every word she's ever told me.
- 5:29Speaker 2: I'm team Olivia. We always have been. I've never not
- 5:33Speaker 2: believed one thing she told me. Nope, nope. And as
- 5:37Speaker 2: far as what Veronica is doing, I'm not going to
- 5:40Speaker 2: address it, but you know, I believe her. Sure, maybe
- 5:44Speaker 2: just not the method to her mantic So Olivia is
- 5:46Speaker 2: a masterclass in how to handle this one percent.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Yeah she is.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Everybody could just sit down at her feet and watch
- 5:53Speaker 2: her go. Yeah, and she's a world traveler. She's very interesting.
- 5:58Speaker 2: She's very interesting for being so yeah, yeah, all right,
- 6:02Speaker 2: let's start, because we're gonna start.
- 6:04Speaker 1: All right, let's go.
- 6:04Speaker 2: You're going to be here for a long time.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Guys.
- 6:06Speaker 2: If you're not watching on YouTube, you're really gonna miss
- 6:08Speaker 2: something here because I got a whole slideshow.
- 6:11Speaker 1: I've got forty slides. Yeah, you need you need ingrid
- 6:14Speaker 1: to put I'm sure she does already put the YouTube
- 6:17Speaker 1: link in the show notes so people can think, go
- 6:20Speaker 1: right over there. It is.
- 6:21Speaker 2: The YouTube link is in the show notes, and that's
- 6:23Speaker 2: also free, and head over there. I think if you
- 6:27Speaker 2: see it on Prime there's no commercials. But that's just
- 6:29Speaker 2: part of the YouTube thing.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Guys. I can and you need to see my uh
- 6:33Speaker 1: teflon queen shirt that I bought from Janelle and her farm.
- 6:36Speaker 2: What does it say underneath it?
- 6:37Speaker 1: It says no longer making myself culpable for your shit.
- 6:44Speaker 1: That's the Sister Wives thing.
- 6:46Speaker 2: It's a very long tagline.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, about it from Data Farms from Janelle Tata. Yeah,
- 6:53Speaker 1: Tata Farms is the name of her farm, Hawi spelling
- 6:56Speaker 1: data t A E d A. Yeah, it's after the
- 7:02Speaker 1: pine that grows.
- 7:03Speaker 2: There so many extra vowels and words you just said.
- 7:07Speaker 2: And no, I'm not in the sister wife's world, guys,
- 7:09Speaker 2: but Amy is go check her out. I'm wearing a
- 7:12Speaker 2: pink shade T shirt because I slept in it. All right,
- 7:16Speaker 2: that's how we roll. So Season seven, episode one, The Boyfriend.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Okay, I even hate the title. Can we just start there?
- 7:31Speaker 1: And it is the Boyfriend? I guess? Is Zach right,
- 7:33Speaker 1: that's the one I guess?
- 7:34Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Also, I'm gonna make a prediction Amber's
- 7:38Speaker 2: fifteen season eight Amber Boyfriend.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Oh, I don't think there's gonna be a season eight.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Maybe girlfriend, there is gonna be a season eight. They're
- 7:48Speaker 2: contractually obligated to do, so.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Are you kidding me? Right now?
- 7:55Speaker 2: This is just something that I heard. Okay, they're under
- 7:57Speaker 2: contract for eight seasons.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Oh good lord.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Okay, but you know what I gotta say, going into this,
- 8:03Speaker 2: I was like, if we're not going to see Olivia
- 8:05Speaker 2: very much, I don't care.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Yeah, we need to have protected from this.
- 8:09Speaker 2: But yet there's a lot to still get mad about here. Yeah, yes, sirs, okay, okay,
- 8:15Speaker 2: So we start with somehow again, guys, slide show coming up? Okay,
- 8:21Speaker 2: we start somehow with Ethan being the narrator like a
- 8:24Speaker 2: fucking backwards Tony Soprano with his skin tight wranglers pulled
- 8:28Speaker 2: up into his manjihina smoking a giant cigar.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Okay, I need to go back in time and admonish
- 8:36Speaker 1: my past self forever thinking that Ethan was remotely attractive
- 8:41Speaker 1: because he is a trash human being right now. And
- 8:45Speaker 1: I am sorry, and I apologize. Okay, Okay, I won't.
- 8:49Speaker 1: I want just how to get that out of the way.
- 8:50Speaker 2: I won't point out the slides as they come up,
- 8:52Speaker 2: but there is one here. And when I say backwards
- 8:55Speaker 2: Tony Soprano, yeah, what is going on?
- 8:57Speaker 1: They're sitting in these plastic get around deck chair which
- 9:01Speaker 1: I mean, no shade, I own them too. I saved
- 9:03Speaker 1: my yard and no shade. I have a few like
- 9:06Speaker 1: if I was gonna be on TV, I might want to, like,
- 9:10Speaker 1: you know, upgrade my setting.
- 9:12Speaker 2: No no, no, no, no, they production did this on purpose.
- 9:15Speaker 2: If you don't think production did this on purpose.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Well, production hates them, well, allegedly, allegedly. I'm just assuming.
- 9:23Speaker 2: In a minute, I'll show you who production hates the most. Okay,
- 9:26Speaker 2: And so because you could, you can on all shows,
- 9:30Speaker 2: Bravo shows everything, you can always tell who.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Production hates the most. Okay.
- 9:34Speaker 2: So when he's like, here's what happened last season, my
- 9:37Speaker 2: mom bought a boat.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Ding, ding ding.
- 9:40Speaker 2: That's a lie. Mom didn't buy that boat. Mom never
- 9:42Speaker 2: lived on that boat, not for one minute. She lived
- 9:46Speaker 2: with Ken. When she got her GUI, she listed her
- 9:49Speaker 2: addresses Ken. She never lived on that boat. Nope, okay,
- 9:54Speaker 2: So my mom bought a boat. Mariah moved back home.
- 9:57Speaker 2: She's getting over a bad breakup. I ended my marre
- 10:00Speaker 2: to Olivia, which was a blessing. Also a lie.
- 10:03Speaker 1: You didn't end your marriage to Olivia.
- 10:05Speaker 2: They're not divorced yet, correct, they're not divorced, and you
- 10:09Speaker 2: begged for her to come back.
- 10:11Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, we see you, We see you.
- 10:14Speaker 2: All right, y'all. Summer is in full swing. I have
- 10:16Speaker 2: gotten so many cute things from Quin's. I've told you
- 10:19Speaker 2: all about the linen. I just went and looked at
- 10:22Speaker 2: my Quint's bag to tell you, guys, what I got
- 10:24Speaker 2: last week and what is coming. Okay, I've gotten this
- 10:27Speaker 2: popover dress that is long sleeved linen and maxi dress,
- 10:32Speaker 2: but these slits up the side. It's so airy, it's
- 10:34Speaker 2: perfect for travel. I've gotten these really cute and chic
- 10:39Speaker 2: black sunglasses that I'm sure everybody will.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Think I'm super cool.
- 10:43Speaker 2: And I got a set which is these like super
- 10:45Speaker 2: soft shorts and like a long sleeve sweatshirt to go
- 10:49Speaker 2: with it, because I like that at night, so you're
- 10:50Speaker 2: covered but yet you're not sweating.
- 10:53Speaker 1: You guys.
- 10:53Speaker 2: Quins has everything you need for summer. Everything and don't
- 10:57Speaker 2: sleep on their home goods either.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Guys. I just got the cutest candles for the beach house.
- 11:01Speaker 1: You know. They have the one hundred percent European linen tops.
- 11:04Speaker 1: They start at thirty dollars.
- 11:05Speaker 2: They have the washable silk dresses and skirts that are great.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Throw those in your.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Suitcase and when you arrive they look amazing. They have
- 11:13Speaker 2: those little soft cotton sweaters. They have these versattle pieces
- 11:16Speaker 2: that you're going to reach for again and again.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Because they're staples.
- 11:20Speaker 2: And the best part, everything is half the cost of
- 11:22Speaker 2: similar brands. Go check out that little table that they
- 11:25Speaker 2: have at the end of every item where it compares
- 11:28Speaker 2: to other brands, and you will just die at the
- 11:30Speaker 2: price difference.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Okay, So here's what I think you need.
- 11:33Speaker 2: To Go over to quints dot com slash pink shade,
- 11:36Speaker 2: and then I want you to tell me what you got,
- 11:37Speaker 2: because that's my favorite thing too, is discovering new things
- 11:40Speaker 2: on Quints. So give your summer closet an upgrade with Quint's.

- 11:55Speaker 2: shade to get free shipping and three hundred and sixty
- 11:58Speaker 2: five day returns Quin's slash pink shade. Lie number two.
- 12:04Speaker 1: It took me a while to get over it, but
- 12:06Speaker 1: I did a Mary can. I'm gonna keep a tally
- 12:08Speaker 1: of the lies. Okay, So we're on two. We're on two. Okay, Keim,
- 12:13Speaker 1: you point him out all it, tally him up.
- 12:15Speaker 2: Okay, And here Kim goes, I need the name of
- 12:18Speaker 2: your lawyer.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Look at me.
- 12:20Speaker 2: I'm fun mom who drinks with my kids.
- 12:23Speaker 1: My number three. It jokes about divorce. Fun.
- 12:28Speaker 2: It's so fun. And here's where we see who production
- 12:31Speaker 2: hates the most, and it's Kim.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, she's a monster. Production hates Kim.
- 12:38Speaker 2: You'll be able to see why from this photo. And listen,
- 12:43Speaker 2: we've seen the evolution of Ki Kim over the years.
- 12:46Speaker 2: And you and I have ladies of a certain age
- 12:48Speaker 2: who are weight fluctuating. Can't speak to the horror that
- 12:53Speaker 2: you feel when you see an old picture or a
- 12:56Speaker 2: picture from twenty years ago.
- 12:57Speaker 1: You're like, why did a man look terrible? Look got great?
- 12:59Speaker 2: Up, looked Yeah, and then you see a current picture.
- 13:03Speaker 2: I'm gonna leave that.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Here, but it's not a great angle.
- 13:07Speaker 2: It's not a great angle. And Kim's hole, the kids
- 13:10Speaker 2: could Nobody can have alcohol, nobody can have sugar, blah
- 13:13Speaker 2: blah blah. And Olivia told me, and I believe she
- 13:16Speaker 2: said other places that the reason that was is because
- 13:19Speaker 2: Kim had self control issues, so if she couldn't have it,
- 13:23Speaker 2: nobody could have it. But also then she had it
- 13:26Speaker 2: like hidden in her bedroom. But since the wheels have
- 13:30Speaker 2: fallen off of Kim, she's just like fuck it.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Well, we did a rewatch of Season one uh huh. Okay,
- 13:39Speaker 1: I have not seen that season since it aired, Guys,
- 13:43Speaker 1: I highly recommend it's on HBO Max or whatever. It's
- 13:46Speaker 1: only six episodes. You need to go back to realize
- 13:50Speaker 1: Kim was a monster from the very beginning. Yes, always,
- 13:54Speaker 1: and sometimes I think, like my memory is, you know,
- 13:58Speaker 1: not great. And sometimes I'm like, was she playing like
- 14:01Speaker 1: was she trying to hide it? She never tried to
- 14:03Speaker 1: hide it. She was a monster from the very beginning.
- 14:07Speaker 1: I have zero empathy for this woman. I say, show
- 14:10Speaker 1: all the bad angles. Okay, I agree.
- 14:12Speaker 2: So production hates her and she's trying to be like
- 14:15Speaker 2: I'm fun bomb, I'm in the woods, I'm drinking.
- 14:18Speaker 1: Well, look at me. So the next.
- 14:21Speaker 2: Thing he says is Micah moved in with his beautiful
- 14:26Speaker 2: girlfriend Veronica.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Okay, there she is.
- 14:31Speaker 2: There are the two of them looking like a golden
- 14:34Speaker 2: Florida couple. Yes, And then because they can't leave it alone,
- 14:38Speaker 2: they have to make a joke about Veronica being tall
- 14:41Speaker 2: and Micah will never have to change another light.
- 14:43Speaker 1: Bulb and like what he still does because you know, bitches,
- 14:48Speaker 1: so say you're eight the voice.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Yeah, and Veronica was there for Mariah when she was
- 14:58Speaker 2: trying to leave her ex.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Uh.
- 15:00Speaker 2: And then Mariah and my mom decided to throw a
- 15:04Speaker 2: concert together for the family band, Kim says. The day
- 15:10Speaker 2: of the concert, Mariah gets back with her ex. But
- 15:12Speaker 2: we pulled the concert off in the end.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Oh that's lie number four right there, because we're not
- 15:17Speaker 1: calling we're calling that a concert.
- 15:19Speaker 2: Concert is four people singing on a roof deck with
- 15:22Speaker 2: three people slinging. Margarita's I mean it worked for the Beatles,
- 15:25Speaker 2: but this is not Apple Records.
- 15:28Speaker 1: I don't even they did the rooftop concert, remember.
- 15:32Speaker 2: No, okay, so uh, Ethan puffs on his cigar because
- 15:37Speaker 2: again Tony soprano, and he goes, it was a shit show,
- 15:41Speaker 2: and he just laughs like I'm so witty. Look how
- 15:45Speaker 2: fun it is to sit in the woods and drink
- 15:47Speaker 2: and smoke and curse with your mother.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Yeah, you wouldn't even know how to do any of
- 15:51Speaker 1: that if it wasn't for Olivia.
- 15:53Speaker 2: Correct, correct, Like she never, like, like Kim didn't steal
- 15:58Speaker 2: you have your education, stole your money, and treated you
- 16:02Speaker 2: in your spouse terribly.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Yep, none of that ever happened. No, none of it
- 16:06Speaker 1: ever happened.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Kim says. And then there's Lydia, and do you know
- 16:11Speaker 2: nothing much ever happens with Lydia.
- 16:13Speaker 1: Yeah, because she was cooking your meals while you and
- 16:15Speaker 1: Barry were playing backgammon when she was fourteen.
- 16:18Speaker 2: Also, what a dick thing to say about your kids.
- 16:21Speaker 1: I know we'll get to Lydia, but I need her
- 16:26Speaker 1: to break out and break free of this because she
- 16:28Speaker 1: has been Kim's victim in all of this. I agree,
- 16:32Speaker 1: entire life.
- 16:33Speaker 2: I agree, and Ethan goes until now puff. Okay, some
- 16:39Speaker 2: notes here, some notes about this scene. The new narrative
- 16:45Speaker 2: is that Kim is fun mom. Look at fun mom.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Drink it with my kids.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Gosh, waste one in.
- 16:52Speaker 1: The photo you're showing look at fun mom sort of
- 16:57Speaker 1: interacting with her emotionally, completely destroyed daughter who doesn't know
- 17:02Speaker 1: how to go through life and handle things because you've
- 17:06Speaker 1: hobbled her from day one and.
- 17:08Speaker 2: Kicked her out and kicked her out when she was
- 17:09Speaker 2: seventeen because she wanted to.
- 17:12Speaker 1: Go bowling with them from where ting top right? Yeah?
- 17:17Speaker 2: Okay, So the new narrative is that Kim is fun mom.
- 17:20Speaker 2: We're supposed to forget all the other seasons. Kim is
- 17:23Speaker 2: fun mom. They've made fun of Veronica's height, which I
- 17:28Speaker 2: don't like at all.
- 17:29Speaker 1: I don't either.
- 17:31Speaker 2: They made fun of Lydia being boring. Yeah, okay, they
- 17:36Speaker 2: basically call Mariah a psycho. Now she is, but like
- 17:41Speaker 2: you pointed out, how does she get that way?
- 17:44Speaker 1: Mariah is? My heart just breaks for her.
- 17:48Speaker 2: I mean, she is a psycho, but she got that.
- 17:50Speaker 2: She is that way for a reason. Okay, they broke her. Yeah,
- 17:54Speaker 2: and no mention of Ken. Yes, Ken was storyline last year.
- 18:01Speaker 1: You're huge, but then we're not going.
- 18:02Speaker 2: To mention him. No mention of Kim And are sport
- 18:06Speaker 2: wearing Margarita love and Hot Girl summer last year?
- 18:09Speaker 1: Don't mention know that? No, not a sport to be
- 18:13Speaker 1: seen so far, so far, no sports.
- 18:17Speaker 2: We are not here for this was revisionist history. Bullshit
- 18:21Speaker 2: that Ethan is now cool? No, in a rebel look
- 18:25Speaker 2: at it. No, I just want I want to punch
- 18:27Speaker 2: his face.
- 18:29Speaker 1: We're not here? Are we here for this guy? Are
- 18:32Speaker 1: we here for back with Tony Soprano? No, we're not
- 18:34Speaker 1: go to the gym and your jeans? God all right.
- 18:41Speaker 2: Now?
- 18:42Speaker 1: We open in Crawfordville, Florida.
- 18:45Speaker 2: This appears to be an offshoot of Tallahassee I tried
- 18:47Speaker 2: to look it up.
- 18:48Speaker 1: I got bored.
- 18:49Speaker 2: But Kim has a new house hoods and she still
- 18:53Speaker 2: has that giant water thing on the counter.
- 18:57Speaker 1: Oh you're kidding me from the farm. Oh there it is, yep.
- 19:02Speaker 2: Now, if you guys don't remember, the fundamentalists use this,
- 19:06Speaker 2: it's about four hundred dollars on Amazon.
- 19:08Speaker 1: It filters the water.
- 19:09Speaker 2: I guess, of the things that give you the dementia
- 19:11Speaker 2: and the devil.
- 19:13Speaker 1: She's trying making up her own vaccines in there now
- 19:19Speaker 1: with apple cider vinegar.
- 19:21Speaker 2: Barry has one too, and some funding have its die hard.
- 19:24Speaker 1: I guess.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Okay, so they're all like, well, mom, the food looks
- 19:29Speaker 2: so great. She goes, yeah, I can cook now that
- 19:31Speaker 2: I don't have all these kids. Before Lydia was cooking
- 19:35Speaker 2: all the food, I'm telling you, and we still have
- 19:39Speaker 2: all the kids.
- 19:39Speaker 1: There is an episode where Lydia is like really having
- 19:43Speaker 1: a hard time in the kitchen. She's exasperated, she is
- 19:46Speaker 1: like sweating, and she's trying to whip up this entire meal,
- 19:49Speaker 1: and Barry and Kim are sitting right outside the kitchen
- 19:52Speaker 1: playing backgammon, and Lydia is like fifteen.
- 19:57Speaker 2: Is Hosanda the shortest one of them all.
- 20:00Speaker 1: She escaped. She escaped.
- 20:01Speaker 2: I got a whole section about her coming up. I
- 20:04Speaker 2: know it seems like it just started, but summer will
- 20:06Speaker 2: be winding down soon and for me that means a
- 20:09Speaker 2: new college dorm room to furnish. And also I'm still
- 20:12Speaker 2: working on the decor for this beach house. Wayfair has
- 20:14Speaker 2: been my life saver, all right. So my son is
- 20:17Speaker 2: moving out of a dorm room and into a room
- 20:19Speaker 2: at his frat house, and you know, as a mom,
- 20:22Speaker 2: I want his space to look nice and of course comfortable,
- 20:24Speaker 2: but on a budget. Okay, it is a frat house.
- 20:27Speaker 2: I went to Wayfair and it was one stop shop.
- 20:29Speaker 2: I got for his new room a rug, a bed frame,
- 20:32Speaker 2: a dresser, a side table, a mattress, all of his
- 20:35Speaker 2: bedding and sheets. And I could have gotten some really
- 20:37Speaker 2: fun stuff to hang on his wall, but he wants
- 20:39Speaker 2: to do that part of himself. So I got everything
- 20:42Speaker 2: he needs, literally except for his clothes. I got it
- 20:44Speaker 2: one stop at Wayfair. It was so easy and it
- 20:47Speaker 2: didn't break the bank. And man, oh man, Wayfair has
- 20:50Speaker 2: saved me on updating this beach house to core. I
- 20:52Speaker 2: got the most amazing rug for our living space. Again,
- 20:55Speaker 2: it's in a beach house, so I didn't want to
- 20:57Speaker 2: break the bank on it, but it just updated the space.
- 21:00Speaker 2: It looks so crisp and clean. I love it. There's
- 21:03Speaker 2: something for every style and every home, no matter your
- 21:06Speaker 2: space or your budget. And did you know about Wayfair's
- 21:09Speaker 2: free and easy delivery. No more huge delivery fees for furniture.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Get big stuff like sofas, dining tables, beds, desk and
- 21:17Speaker 2: more shipped for free. Seriously, Wayfair has it all and
- 21:21Speaker 2: free shipping. So get organized, refreshed and back to routine
- 21:25Speaker 2: for way less. Head to wayfair dot com right now
- 21:28Speaker 2: to get all things for your home.
- 21:30Speaker 1: That's wayfair dot com.
- 21:32Speaker 2: Way fai r dot com. Wayfair Every style, every home. Okay,
- 21:39Speaker 2: So anyway, I would like to note that they were
- 21:42Speaker 2: eating frozen vegetables. I'm just noting it because isn't she
- 21:46Speaker 2: a natural path and she's all about clean, healthy living
- 21:50Speaker 2: off the land. And you just eat off the land
- 21:53Speaker 2: and don't register your children's births.
- 21:55Speaker 1: She feels like that hard? Does she know how hard
- 21:58Speaker 1: it is to live off the land? No, because her
- 22:01Speaker 1: kids always did the work for her. Frozen vegetables. Yeah,
- 22:05Speaker 1: that looked terrible. I mean, I'll eat a frozen Look,
- 22:09Speaker 1: she was just they were just sawtanging them up and serving.
- 22:11Speaker 1: She lives somewhere where she can get fresh veggies most
- 22:14Speaker 1: of the year.
- 22:15Speaker 2: My point is, what was what was this dish? Your
- 22:18Speaker 2: sawtang vegetables in a pan? You're gonna serve soggy, wet,
- 22:21Speaker 2: hot vegetables.
- 22:22Speaker 1: No, I have no idea.
- 22:23Speaker 2: Fuck off, Kim, all right, sorry, it's just I mean, okay.
- 22:28Speaker 1: Let it, let it, let it come. Okay, it's okay,
- 22:33Speaker 1: So I'm talking head.
- 22:34Speaker 2: Kim goes Hey, the boat was fun, even though I
- 22:38Speaker 2: never actually lived there. Was living with Ken, but I
- 22:40Speaker 2: moved to a house with lots of bedrooms and bathrooms
- 22:44Speaker 2: because I stole all my children's TLC money to do.
- 22:47Speaker 1: We need to know, bunkies, we need to know it,
- 22:49Speaker 1: says North Crawfordville. We need to know are there records
- 22:53Speaker 1: for her owning this house or is she renting it
- 22:55Speaker 1: and TLC is paying for it? Oh?
- 22:57Speaker 2: TLC is definitely not paying for it.
- 22:59Speaker 1: I just need to know if this is really her house.
- 23:02Speaker 2: But she's still married to Barry, so she's getting money
- 23:04Speaker 2: from him. She has no apparent job, no and never did.
- 23:10Speaker 2: And listen, you're raising a bunch of kids is a job.
- 23:12Speaker 2: Although we know she didn't do that. Those kids raise themselves.
- 23:15Speaker 2: And she's, from my understanding, allegedly has never paid these
- 23:22Speaker 2: kids out.
- 23:24Speaker 1: Oh no, from TLC.
- 23:26Speaker 2: Yeah right, no, she's taken all that sweet sweet TLC money.
- 23:30Speaker 2: It's going to be a Brielle in Kim Zolciak Beermann
- 23:33Speaker 2: situation if you know, you know, okay.
- 23:35Speaker 1: Or a ground situation if you know you know?
- 23:37Speaker 2: Yeah, right, Ken and I are friends and we don't
- 23:41Speaker 2: kiss or have sex for now, Okay.
- 23:45Speaker 1: I almost died when she said we don't have sex?
- 23:48Speaker 1: What is going on?
- 23:50Speaker 2: Are we supposed to believe you were having sex before?
- 23:55Speaker 2: I thought you were staying in the guest room.
- 23:57Speaker 1: And I can't even believe she would say that word.
- 24:01Speaker 1: I mean, she wouldn't let Mariah wear a tank top.
- 24:05Speaker 1: I can't even believe it.
- 24:06Speaker 2: They didn't even tell Ethan what sex was before his wedding.
- 24:09Speaker 1: Oh right, Kim told him on his wedding night.
- 24:13Speaker 2: And by the way, you know, they didn't tell Housannah.
- 24:15Speaker 2: She was just like, Oh, what's this guy gonna.
- 24:17Speaker 1: Do to me? Yeah? Yeah, It's just like on the
- 24:20Speaker 1: Gilded Age, and they have no access to the Internet
- 24:22Speaker 1: or any kind of materials. They're not looking up porn.
- 24:27Speaker 2: So she's invited her ex Barry.
- 24:30Speaker 1: You know, I'm just fun loving Barry, Barry, the king
- 24:38Speaker 1: of the day, joking. Look at me, Look at my
- 24:41Speaker 1: stupid face. I like the pump iron love Berry. I'm
- 24:45Speaker 1: dead at the year now.
- 24:47Speaker 2: I gotta tell you something, though, It's gotta be sweet,
- 24:49Speaker 2: sweet revenge for Barry to see how he has had
- 24:54Speaker 2: in his mind I glow up and in his head,
- 24:57Speaker 2: and Kim has had quite a glow down.
- 24:59Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I mean these two are super petty,
- 25:02Speaker 1: these two I call them. I always call them the
- 25:06Speaker 1: couple in court splitting up the beanie babies before the judge.
- 25:09Speaker 1: That is their divorce. They are here to destroy one another,
- 25:14Speaker 1: and I'm here for it. So let it keep happening.
- 25:17Speaker 1: If Barry being nice is just to annoy him, I'll
- 25:21Speaker 1: take it. Yeah, I agree with all that. So she goes.
- 25:26Speaker 2: Barry and I aren't a great place, but we can
- 25:27Speaker 2: be together around the kids. You know, we aren't divorced yet.
- 25:30Speaker 2: It's been three years, and it's hard. It's hard. We
- 25:34Speaker 2: see his talking in he's like, yeah, we're on the
- 25:37Speaker 2: opposite ends of the Grand Canyon and it's rough, but
- 25:41Speaker 2: we can be together for the kids, for the family. Okay,
- 25:46Speaker 2: we get a flashback of se for the shows, for
- 25:48Speaker 2: the show we're getting paid, So yeah, we get a
- 25:50Speaker 2: flashback of seven years ago, when all was peaceful and
- 25:53Speaker 2: idyllic on the platform, when the children of the corn
- 25:56Speaker 2: the minions, ran out to greet their Lord and savior,
- 25:59Speaker 2: their older brother Ethan and his beautiful wife Olivia. Okay,
- 26:03Speaker 2: and this is what it looks like just seven years ago. Guys,
- 26:07Speaker 2: I hate his face, just seven years ago. Please everybody
- 26:12Speaker 2: get to your YouTube and take a gander with these
- 26:16Speaker 2: two looks like seven years ago.
- 26:18Speaker 1: They are broke down versions of themselves.
- 26:20Speaker 2: Now wow, Well, first of all, he's gained fifty pounds
- 26:24Speaker 2: of muscle.
- 26:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean all he does is go to the gym.
- 26:28Speaker 1: He's lost rage lift, like he just thinks about PBS
- 26:35Speaker 1: and ELM and the gays and just rage lifts his weights.
- 26:40Speaker 1: And she is just I don't know, I'll drink in
- 26:42Speaker 1: every single night and partying and wearing sports. So this
- 26:46Speaker 1: is what happens.
- 26:48Speaker 2: Strangely, he looks younger now. Now now there yeah, I.
- 26:55Speaker 1: Should we just go back to what we just go
- 26:58Speaker 1: back to that. Yeah, it just means me to even
- 27:00Speaker 1: look at Barry's face.
- 27:02Speaker 2: I know, listen, No, there's no winners here, no winners.
- 27:05Speaker 1: So okay, here we are covering every minute of it. Yeah,
- 27:10Speaker 1: here we are, you guys, I mean the.
- 27:12Speaker 2: Amount of rage text I have sent to you, to Matt,
- 27:16Speaker 2: to Jake over the last week, you guys.
- 27:19Speaker 1: I took.
- 27:22Speaker 2: Very close to four hours taking these no yesterday because
- 27:24Speaker 2: I was doing a lot of screenshots and pictures. Normally
- 27:26Speaker 2: I don't do that, and my husband left and came
- 27:29Speaker 2: home and was like, you're still working on the same show.
- 27:31Speaker 1: I was like, seven minutes ago. I couldn't. I didn't know.
- 27:40Speaker 2: I didn't know how much there was going to be here,
- 27:42Speaker 2: and I didn't know how mad I was gonna be.
- 27:45Speaker 1: I know, I understand. Okay, I got you.
- 27:49Speaker 2: So, Micah says, you know, growing up, it was eleven
- 27:52Speaker 2: people on the farm in the middle of nowhere, and
- 27:55Speaker 2: life was very different. And even though I hated Micah's
- 27:59Speaker 2: long hair, is really.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Speaking to me. Michael looks good. He okay, let me
- 28:04Speaker 1: say this. Michael looks like something's wrong. He looks broken,
- 28:09Speaker 1: but physically he looks good.
- 28:11Speaker 2: He's dead behind the eyes.
- 28:12Speaker 1: Yes, but physically he looks amazing.
- 28:16Speaker 2: Everything with him seems to be a pose. Yeah, everything
- 28:20Speaker 2: he does seems to me like he's posing. I don't
- 28:22Speaker 2: mind it because I love him, okay, But also he's
- 28:27Speaker 2: a monster.
- 28:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, this is how they get you.
- 28:30Speaker 2: I'm aware that he's a monster, just like you used
- 28:33Speaker 2: to love Ethan and we'd be like, he's gross, and
- 28:35Speaker 2: you're like, I can't help it. Now you've come around.
- 28:37Speaker 2: I'll come around on Micah eventually, I will.
- 28:39Speaker 1: I would like to defend myself, I would believe by
- 28:42Speaker 1: the end of this episode. But yeah, I liked Ethan
- 28:44Speaker 1: when it appeared he was escaping the cult with Olivia,
- 28:49Speaker 1: and by Olivia's own admission, she did a lot of
- 28:52Speaker 1: and I get this, I was in a bad marriage too.
- 28:55Speaker 1: She did a lot of like making it look better
- 28:58Speaker 1: for the cameras and hiding a lot of the bad stuff,
- 29:00Speaker 1: do you know what I mean? Like, yeah, yeah, I
- 29:02Speaker 1: totally get that. I'm not saying anything bad about our queen,
- 29:05Speaker 1: but like, so I fell into the trap and I
- 29:07Speaker 1: thought he was getting away from the and he was
- 29:10Speaker 1: gonna go and be a good human being.
- 29:12Speaker 2: Iro No, no, somewhere he got on some website men's rights. Now, Okay,
- 29:20Speaker 2: So anyway, we get lots of flashbacks of good, clean
- 29:26Speaker 2: fun around the dinner table.
- 29:27Speaker 1: Sure, Dad jokes.
- 29:28Speaker 2: Kids just think that Ethan.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Is so funny.
- 29:31Speaker 2: So Mariah calls and in the talking head, Kim says,
- 29:38Speaker 2: so a couple of kids are missing. Ethan is in Minnesota,
- 29:42Speaker 2: and Mariah is working tonight. So I guess what we've
- 29:46Speaker 2: decided is that this child no longer exists. This child's
- 29:51Speaker 2: whose name was Susannah.
- 29:53Speaker 3: Nope, no, she wants nothing to do with the show,
- 29:57Speaker 3: and I'll blame her. She said two kids are missing too.
- 30:00Speaker 3: Kids are missing. Okay, well there's really three, but okay.
- 30:04Speaker 1: Yeah, So.
- 30:06Speaker 2: Micah says I'm in town. He live there, lives in Boca.
- 30:11Speaker 2: He says, I'm in town to pick up Amber and
- 30:13Speaker 2: take her to Boca to spend time with me and Veronica.
- 30:16Speaker 2: I guess this is like when the kids get to
- 30:18Speaker 2: a certain age they're allowed to escape for a weekend.
- 30:21Speaker 1: Yeah. Remember, like season one was a lot of Micah
- 30:24Speaker 1: turning eighteen and he was like, I can do whatever
- 30:27Speaker 1: I want now, I can go here, I can go like.
- 30:29Speaker 1: I think Bury and Kim are the kind of parents
- 30:32Speaker 1: that have a real tight rain on you and then
- 30:33Speaker 1: the minute you're eighteen, go do whatever you want. Well,
- 30:36Speaker 1: she's fifteen, really weird.
- 30:37Speaker 2: Amber's fifteen, But fifteen is the new eighteen because Kim
- 30:40Speaker 2: is the new Kim. Yes, yes, so pretty soon, Amber,
- 30:43Speaker 2: Cassia and Mercy will also get to escape to Boca.
- 30:47Speaker 2: Yeah okay, so he says, I'm in town to pick
- 30:51Speaker 2: up Amber, take her to take her to Boca to
- 30:53Speaker 2: spend time with me and Veronica, and uh.
- 30:56Speaker 1: Shocking.
- 30:57Speaker 2: I know nobody's gonna believe this, but the family, especially
- 31:01Speaker 2: Mariah and my dad have turned home. Veronica, who would
- 31:04Speaker 2: have seen it coming?
- 31:05Speaker 1: Wow? Wow, wow, Zach, are you ready? Yeah? Coming back?
- 31:11Speaker 1: Turn's coming, Bud.
- 31:12Speaker 2: I don't care how smiley and skippy you are.
- 31:15Speaker 1: Okay, So.
- 31:18Speaker 2: They pray and they eat, and in the talking head,
- 31:21Speaker 2: Berry says, I think Mariah is moving forward in healthy ways.
- 31:28Speaker 2: She's single, she has new friends, and we've got changes
- 31:32Speaker 2: in additions to our family. Isaac has a new girlfriend.
- 31:38Speaker 2: Isaac' nineteen. He has a new girlfriend. He still lives
- 31:41Speaker 2: with Barry, but he banks his girlfriend in our house
- 31:44Speaker 2: and we don't mind because we're fun bearings.
- 31:46Speaker 1: Now he's also banging that girlfriend in the tractor, let's
- 31:49Speaker 1: be clear.
- 31:50Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, they're just slamming down some Chicken fil
- 31:52Speaker 2: A nuggets and going at it. So Lydia, who's twenty,
- 31:58Speaker 2: lives in Tallahassee now, and she's a town because she's
- 32:00Speaker 2: got a special visitor coming.
- 32:04Speaker 1: Okay, she's gorting, she's corking.
- 32:08Speaker 2: So Ethan calls and more than once they do this,
- 32:15Speaker 2: they play this rock and roll type of music under him.
- 32:19Speaker 2: Because he's a rebel with a crazy mustache and his
- 32:21Speaker 2: pants pulled into his vagina.
- 32:23Speaker 1: I hate him, and I want to ask you if
- 32:25Speaker 1: you notice something during this scene. Okay, Amanda did not
- 32:29Speaker 1: notice it. I ask everybody to notice it because I'm
- 32:33Speaker 1: a psychopath and this is what I pay attention to.
- 32:36Speaker 1: The entire time Ethan is on the phone, Micah does
- 32:39Speaker 1: not say a word. He does not say hello to him,
- 32:42Speaker 1: He does not say what's up, Ethan, He does not
- 32:44Speaker 1: say goodbye to him. When they're all saying goodbye to him,
- 32:47Speaker 1: he just looks down, doesn't even smile. It's very strange
- 32:54Speaker 1: because you know, Micah, Mike would be like, oh, hey,
- 32:57Speaker 1: Ethan or you know by Ethan or nothing nothing? Well,
- 33:05Speaker 1: you know, I wonder if Ethan said something about Veronica.
- 33:09Speaker 1: She's tall? Who you need to change his light bulbs?
- 33:11Speaker 1: What's this woman with these opinions? These woman she's got
- 33:14Speaker 1: a job. You think she could bear children? Which so tall?
- 33:19Speaker 2: So here's Ethan here on our screen screen, and I'm
- 33:23Speaker 2: gonna tell you something right now. If you don't think
- 33:25Speaker 2: that guy would try to burn down the capitol. I
- 33:27Speaker 2: don't know where was he on January sixth, No one knows.
- 33:32Speaker 2: He doesn't want the government to know how much money
- 33:34Speaker 2: he makes. That's why the divorce is taken so long,
- 33:37Speaker 2: because he does not want to claim any income. Yeah,
- 33:41Speaker 2: and is he gonna end up in a shed in
- 33:44Speaker 2: the woods stockpile and his weapons and uh railing against
- 33:48Speaker 2: gay people?
- 33:48Speaker 1: Probably? Okay, probably Ruby Ridge coming at you. Yeah, that's right.
- 33:53Speaker 1: It's gonna be Plathorridge. Here we go.
- 33:55Speaker 2: So anyway, Ethan goes, Yeah, I'm in still in Minnesota,
- 34:02Speaker 2: and I'm at peace. But you know, I got a
- 34:04Speaker 2: good relationship with my family. I'm a free man. And
- 34:08Speaker 2: yeah yeah, and here the production says to him, Ethan,
- 34:12Speaker 2: so what are you out there looking for and what
- 34:14Speaker 2: does he say, Amy, I forget what he says, big boobs.
- 34:20Speaker 1: Oh that's right, that's right, because I was so disgusted
- 34:25Speaker 1: by it, I must have blacked it out.
- 34:27Speaker 2: Ladies, big boobs is what he wants, because again, he's
- 34:31Speaker 2: a thirteen year old boy.
- 34:33Speaker 1: Oh, let's be very clear, he wants big boobs on
- 34:35Speaker 1: a very thin woman. Oh well, duh, duh. No, no
- 34:41Speaker 1: fatties for this guy, No, no, no, no. He's the
- 34:43Speaker 1: kind of person who would drive around with the sticker
- 34:45Speaker 1: that I once saw in the back of a pickup
- 34:47Speaker 1: truck that said it's lifted because fat chicks can't jump.
- 34:51Speaker 1: So that would be Ethan's truck driving around. M Yeah,
- 34:58Speaker 1: I just took me a second. I had sa woman,
- 35:00Speaker 1: I almost burned that guy's truck to the ground when
- 35:02Speaker 1: I saw it.
- 35:03Speaker 2: I you would have said it's lifted so I can
- 35:06Speaker 2: put a lulled off cocktail under it easier, Okay, okay,
- 35:13Speaker 2: And the talking ed Micah says, all the siblings are
- 35:18Speaker 2: not going down the same roads.
- 35:20Speaker 1: Things were crazy for a while.
- 35:21Speaker 2: People were pushing boundaries and cutting ties with the family
- 35:24Speaker 2: and uh, it's rough. You know, we're all learning new
- 35:28Speaker 2: skills and trying to cram knowledge into our head like
- 35:30Speaker 2: all this pop culture.
- 35:32Speaker 1: That was further evidence for me that something is broken
- 35:35Speaker 1: with him and Ethan.
- 35:37Speaker 2: There's something broken with Micah period. And I agree, maybe
- 35:41Speaker 2: by the end of the season, when this big fight happens,
- 35:43Speaker 2: we find it out.
- 35:45Speaker 1: Maybe not.
- 35:46Speaker 2: Yeah, we do know that one of the reasons that Isaac,
- 35:52Speaker 2: another Plathorridge occupant, went crazy is because Micah or Ethan
- 36:04Speaker 2: called Isaac's girlfriend a whore. One of the boys called
- 36:09Speaker 2: Isaac's girlfriend a whoror I'll have to try to remember that,
- 36:13Speaker 2: and I covered that on my episode where I covered
- 36:16Speaker 2: my lunch with Olivia, So I'll have to go back
- 36:18Speaker 2: and try to remember that. Okay, Okay, that's what That's
- 36:24Speaker 2: what kicked off the big hillbilly melee at the wedding. Okay,
- 36:28Speaker 2: so seven years ago we see, you know, they didn't
- 36:32Speaker 2: know Tom Brady, they didn't know Spider Man. Now what
- 36:35Speaker 2: they're doing now is there juxtaposing this with the family
- 36:40Speaker 2: doing current day charades, and one of them does like
- 36:43Speaker 2: a Spider Man thing and they get it right away,
- 36:45Speaker 2: and then another one does Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
- 36:47Speaker 1: They're getting the pop culture. Don't forget that money Python
- 36:51Speaker 1: and the Holy Grail is the only point of cultural
- 36:54Speaker 1: reference that Barry knows. Remember, didn't he get one of
- 36:57Speaker 1: them a gift.
- 37:00Speaker 3: About that?
- 37:01Speaker 2: Wasn't it plants or something?
- 37:03Speaker 1: Wasn't it Lydia? It was Lydia.
- 37:06Speaker 2: I do not enjoy those money pipe I mean I
- 37:10Speaker 2: watched them in college.
- 37:11Speaker 1: Whatever, but whatever, that's his one cultural touchstone with Lydia. Yeah,
- 37:16Speaker 1: it's not for me. I don't know, is it? Are
- 37:19Speaker 1: there sexual jokes in there? I would live goa approve?
- 37:21Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 37:22Speaker 2: Okay, So I would like to now show you this.
- 37:27Speaker 2: This is Micah before and after.
- 37:31Speaker 1: Wow, he really his face did not age that much.
- 37:34Speaker 2: Well, it's only seven years, and you know he's still
- 37:37Speaker 2: very young.
- 37:39Speaker 1: But who let me tell you what.
- 37:40Speaker 2: Guys, if you're out there and you're thinking, I'm an
- 37:42Speaker 2: ugly duckley and I've got my hair greased back, I
- 37:46Speaker 2: got no chin, and my jeans are pulled up into
- 37:48Speaker 2: my vagina and I just live.
- 37:50Speaker 1: On a farm, you too could be a supermodel. Look
- 37:52Speaker 1: at this guy. Yeah, his neck was very thick in
- 37:55Speaker 1: that first picture, wasn't it.
- 37:57Speaker 2: It's interesting too, because now he's like super super buff.
- 38:00Speaker 2: He was buff then too, but.
- 38:03Speaker 1: He was like a farm boy. Then yeah, okay, and
- 38:08Speaker 1: then here we have a.
- 38:10Speaker 2: Picture of the family. Now I'm going to see if
- 38:13Speaker 2: I can name these children from left to right. So
- 38:17Speaker 2: we're gonna have from left to right. We're gonna have Isaac,
- 38:21Speaker 2: We're gonna have Amber, Hosannah, rip Amber, Cassia or Mercy.
- 38:29Speaker 1: We've got that's Lydia right with their arms around her. No,
- 38:34Speaker 1: because where's Mariah. That's that's not Hosannah, that's Mariah.
- 38:40Speaker 2: No, we've got Isaac, Mariah. Hosannah is above Mariah. Oh,
- 38:47Speaker 2: you're right, you're right. And then we've got Amber, and
- 38:49Speaker 2: above Amber is Lydia. Then we have no because Lydia. No, no, no, no,
- 38:56Speaker 2: because Lydia is younger than Mariah, isn't she? Yes, that's
- 39:03Speaker 2: Mariah next to eat. Then I think I don't know
- 39:06Speaker 2: what looks like Lydia. Though, let's try it again. Isaac Lydia,
- 39:17Speaker 2: Maybe Isaac Lydia, Hosannah.
- 39:21Speaker 1: I am Hosannah's next to Ethan.
- 39:25Speaker 2: No, you're wrong. Zannah has a very different face than
- 39:28Speaker 2: the rest of the family. She's between the littles. Quit
- 39:31Speaker 2: quit throwing me off. Isaac, Mariah, Isaac, Lydia Hosannah, Amber, Mariah, Ethan, Micah,
- 39:49Speaker 2: Cassie Mercy. Okay, now did on the fourteenth try?
- 39:53Speaker 1: Okay, it's rough, it's rough.
- 39:56Speaker 2: It's interesting because they made they made, uh, three of
- 39:58Speaker 2: the little girls match and then the boys they just said,
- 40:02Speaker 2: just put on something and uh whatever they all And
- 40:07Speaker 2: Barry looks like somebody literally prodded him in the ass
- 40:11Speaker 2: with the poker.
- 40:12Speaker 1: That's what he looks like. I'm Bury.
- 40:15Speaker 2: Can you imagine my wife let me have sex with
- 40:17Speaker 2: her ten times? So all right, so Amy and the listeners,
- 40:23Speaker 2: the next thing we're about to hear, it's gonna be
- 40:27Speaker 2: more disturbing than Ethan's announcement about the boobs.
- 40:30Speaker 1: Okay, and I want you to just get ready. Are
- 40:36Speaker 1: you ready, oh boy?
- 40:38Speaker 2: Because this is gonna be upsetting to a lot of people.
- 40:41Speaker 1: But here we go. Take my mind. Still them with you?
- 40:50Speaker 1: Frim Wow you guys sounds like me. I'm karaoke night.
- 41:05Speaker 2: I sent this to our friend Jake.
- 41:08Speaker 1: Oh did he even these days? To which she said,
- 41:11Speaker 1: why would you do that to me? My is are bleeding?
- 41:13Speaker 2: And also who told this girl she could sing? And
- 41:17Speaker 2: I don't miss this show one bit. Mm hmm, yeah, later, later, later,
- 41:22Speaker 2: I have another sound drop that I also said to
- 41:23Speaker 2: him that they had a lot of opinions on God.
- 41:26Speaker 1: Let me just say this, Lydia looks great. She is stunning.
- 41:34Speaker 1: It is so wonderful and refreshing to see her happy.
- 41:39Speaker 1: I can't judge if this is gonna last or this
- 41:41Speaker 1: dude is gonna work out, but she looks happy, and
- 41:45Speaker 1: I'm happy for her. Oh, it's gonna last. It's gonna
- 41:49Speaker 1: last forever. If what she wants is what she's getting.
- 41:53Speaker 1: It's good to see her happy. I will see that.
- 41:55Speaker 1: I agree with all this.
- 41:57Speaker 2: Yep, listen, Lydia is a victim in my opinion.
- 42:03Speaker 1: I agree. And if she found her own little lyle
- 42:06Speaker 1: love it over there with the curly hair, let her
- 42:08Speaker 1: have them. That's so good.
- 42:11Speaker 2: That's that good.
- 42:12Speaker 1: That's so good. That's a good comparison. Remember, Julia Roberts
- 42:15Speaker 1: like married him in like a weird she was in
- 42:20Speaker 1: like a shroud on her head. It was a time
- 42:22Speaker 1: and place time, so.
- 42:25Speaker 2: You know, speaking of back in the day, we would
- 42:27Speaker 2: have never thought Julia Roberts would have stayed married to
- 42:29Speaker 2: that guy that she stole from that other woman. So
- 42:31Speaker 2: Daylien married like twenty.
- 42:32Speaker 1: Years and I have kids. And true, we would have
- 42:34Speaker 1: thought she'd.
- 42:34Speaker 2: Divorced him in a year, but she didn't.
- 42:36Speaker 1: True.
- 42:36Speaker 2: Yeah, So Lydia has a new man. His name is
- 42:40Speaker 2: Zach zak Is twenty three. Zach has a chin to
- 42:42Speaker 2: rival Rockies from Hunt for Love.
- 42:45Speaker 1: Okay, would you agree? Yeah, he's got a chin. Yep,
- 42:50Speaker 1: But then again, you say you marry your dad and
- 42:52Speaker 1: Bury himself has.
- 42:53Speaker 2: A giant chin.
- 42:54Speaker 1: That's true.
- 42:55Speaker 2: Yeah. So uh, these two young love birds met in Colorado.
- 43:00Speaker 2: Was there for six weeks visiting a friend, and she
- 43:02Speaker 2: visited a local church. What is her job that she
- 43:05Speaker 2: could just go somewhere for six weeks.
- 43:07Speaker 1: She might be on a mission of some kind, but
- 43:11Speaker 1: it might be church work.
- 43:13Speaker 2: She has to have an apartment and pay her rent.
- 43:16Speaker 1: Like how she just well, she works in Remember she
- 43:19Speaker 1: had the job at the bank. Okay, what does she
- 43:21Speaker 1: do now that she could take off six weeks? I
- 43:24Speaker 1: think she works at the church. And I think she
- 43:26Speaker 1: lives with Barry. No, she doesn't live with Barry. I
- 43:30Speaker 1: don't know. I don't know, Okay, unclear.
- 43:33Speaker 2: So these two they love to skip, They have to laugh,
- 43:37Speaker 2: They like to climb trees, hold hands and they like
- 43:39Speaker 2: to hug, but they don't kiss. And he grew up
- 43:45Speaker 2: with a family of five. He has two older sisters,
- 43:47Speaker 2: and gosh, they both have joyful personalities.
- 43:50Speaker 1: So he loves fun and fun loves him.
- 43:53Speaker 2: And uh, Lydia has met his entire family, and he says,
- 43:58Speaker 2: I've only not met two people in her family, Micah
- 44:01Speaker 2: and Ethan. Again we say so sorry for the loss
- 44:06Speaker 2: of Hosannah.
- 44:07Speaker 1: Well maybe he met Hosannah. We don't know. No, he didn't.
- 44:13Speaker 1: She lives in Ohio. She doesn't exist. She doesn't exist.
- 44:17Speaker 2: She does come to the wedding, though, so producer ask Lydia.
- 44:22Speaker 2: Lydia is now, for some reason, dressed like the president
- 44:26Speaker 2: of the local PTA and the garden Society.
- 44:29Speaker 1: Why, yeah, I don't know why is Lydia dressed this way?
- 44:32Speaker 1: She looks great, though, you know what she looks like
- 44:35Speaker 1: an adult? Now, this is a real old reference. Okay,
- 44:39Speaker 1: she looks like Melanie Griffith and working Girl or or
- 44:43Speaker 1: Christina Applegate. Don't tell mom the babysitter's dead when she
- 44:46Speaker 1: went for the job.
- 44:48Speaker 2: Okay, I don't. I mean no, those are real current references.
- 44:53Speaker 1: Look, but it looks like a teenager playing adult, is
- 44:56Speaker 1: what I'm saying. Like it looks like somebody playing grown
- 44:58Speaker 1: up adult dress.
- 44:59Speaker 2: I kept trying to figure out how she did that
- 45:00Speaker 2: haird herself. I don't know, or she looks amazing, but
- 45:05Speaker 2: I said, she looks like she's like like Gavel, she's
- 45:10Speaker 2: a meeting.
- 45:11Speaker 1: She is not going to approve my home loan.
- 45:13Speaker 2: She's not going to approve your home loan. And she
- 45:15Speaker 2: does not approve your hydrangea hedge for the garden party.
- 45:19Speaker 1: No, no, not at all. Nope.
- 45:21Speaker 2: All right, So anyway back to these two. So they're
- 45:25Speaker 2: asking Lydia what was the first kiss like? And then
- 45:28Speaker 2: she goes, what do you mean hasn't happened? And she says,
- 45:33Speaker 2: and I would like your take on this. She says,
- 45:36Speaker 2: he has committed, and I guess now, I have committed
- 45:40Speaker 2: to saving our first kiss for our wedding day, if
- 45:42Speaker 2: that day shall come. I'm gonna repeat, he has committed,
- 45:47Speaker 2: and I guess now I have committed.
- 45:49Speaker 1: I think Lydia would have been okay with the kissing,
- 45:53Speaker 1: but she would never do more than that. There's no soaking,
- 45:56Speaker 1: no hot dog bun, no nothing happening, no cream in
- 45:59Speaker 1: the gene. No dry humping, it is got it amy.
- 46:02Speaker 1: He would just go for a kiss, that would be it.
- 46:06Speaker 2: There is no way she came up with this.
- 46:09Speaker 1: He came up with it.
- 46:11Speaker 2: Yes, yes, her body language is showing she doesn't agree
- 46:16Speaker 2: with it.
- 46:16Speaker 1: I agree, she wants to make out what this Lyle
- 46:18Speaker 1: Lovett want to be so bad and the.
- 46:21Speaker 2: Talking head together, He says, you know, I just told
- 46:27Speaker 2: myself that I didn't want to kissing to get in
- 46:31Speaker 2: the way of really getting to know someone. So I
- 46:34Speaker 2: brought it up to her when we first met, like
- 46:36Speaker 2: what do you think. I know, we've had three dates,
- 46:38Speaker 2: and what do you think if we never kiss? And
- 46:41Speaker 2: she says she actually always wanted that and she thought
- 46:46Speaker 2: it was really really sweet, and her body language does
- 46:50Speaker 2: not agree with this. Look I know she's looking down.
- 46:54Speaker 2: She's not going We agreed, she's looking down.
- 46:57Speaker 1: She's not. I know that she is will be in
- 47:01Speaker 1: a more traditional gender rolled marriage. I understand that to
- 47:05Speaker 1: each his own whatever, But just the way this guy
- 47:08Speaker 1: kind of man explains things to her and is taking
- 47:11Speaker 1: the lead makes me uncomfortable. But she probably loves that.
- 47:14Speaker 2: And also it's like silly, silly Lydia.
- 47:17Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, and she's not.
- 47:19Speaker 2: She's really smart.
- 47:20Speaker 1: Actually, she's very smart. I mean she had to figure
- 47:22Speaker 1: a way out of that colt all by herself.
- 47:24Speaker 2: I mean, despite her parents' best efforts. She turned out
- 47:27Speaker 2: pretty smart. So yeah, back out in the field, you know.
- 47:31Speaker 1: Back out here. Let's see you got back to that.
- 47:33Speaker 2: Back out in the field, good clean fun these two,
- 47:36Speaker 2: And he goes, yeah, there's tempting moments, but this control
- 47:40Speaker 2: is a way we can represent the Lord together, and
- 47:44Speaker 2: we're gonna have more fun and do more things like
- 47:47Speaker 2: skip around and dance. That's better than kissing. Really okay,
- 47:53Speaker 2: all right, So I.
- 47:54Speaker 1: Mean I've skipped and I've made out with a lot
- 47:56Speaker 1: of people. One is definitely better than the other.
- 48:00Speaker 2: Yeah, once exercise and coordination, and one is just getting
- 48:04Speaker 2: it on.
- 48:05Speaker 1: Okay.
- 48:06Speaker 2: So she says to him, yeah, we're really both elbow,
- 48:13Speaker 2: we're really both.
- 48:15Speaker 1: Looking forward to the time when we get to kiss.
- 48:17Speaker 2: But that time is not yet.
- 48:18Speaker 1: And he goes, no, not yet, and she goes, no,
- 48:21Speaker 1: not yet. And they're just wacky. They are so wacky,
- 48:25Speaker 1: these crazy kids. What I just feel like when you
- 48:30Speaker 1: kiss for the first time, and we've seen this, if
- 48:33Speaker 1: you've watched married at first sight. You've seen people kiss
- 48:36Speaker 1: for the first time at the altar, and.
- 48:38Speaker 2: These people have ever seen each other are married for
- 48:40Speaker 2: first word for.
- 48:41Speaker 1: Everyone involved, because your first kiss is always awkward.
- 48:45Speaker 2: Kimberly sent me a bunch of videos or she just
- 48:48Speaker 2: kind of showed me on her phone like this when
- 48:50Speaker 2: we were recording and we were like waiting for the
- 48:53Speaker 2: uploads and we were just chatting at the end. Yeah,
- 48:55Speaker 2: and she was sending me or showing me all these
- 48:57Speaker 2: videos of people like eating each other's face off because
- 49:00Speaker 2: they'd never kissed before.
- 49:01Speaker 1: Yeah, they're like, right, you don't know the style? Are
- 49:06Speaker 1: you more of a open mouthed person, more clothes? More
- 49:09Speaker 1: like what? You don't know? And you're gonna experiment in
- 49:12Speaker 1: your at the alter in front of all of your
- 49:15Speaker 1: friends and family. You just have to do. You just
- 49:17Speaker 1: have to do like a peck. Yeah, I guess that's
- 49:19Speaker 1: what I would do now.
- 49:22Speaker 2: My h my niece Lucy a long time ago taught
- 49:27Speaker 2: me something very funny that she had learned at camp.
- 49:30Speaker 2: Now she's in her twenties, Lucy almost thirty maybe, And
- 49:35Speaker 2: this is so this was many years ago, but it's
- 49:37Speaker 2: always stuck with me, and I think it's hilarious. So
- 49:39Speaker 2: I'm gonna sing this song because I imagine this is
- 49:42Speaker 2: what Zach is singing. I'm gonna reverse it because it's
- 49:44Speaker 2: a girl song, but I'm gonna reverse it and make
- 49:46Speaker 2: it a boy song. And it heard to this and
- 49:48Speaker 2: it goes a little something like this, Hey girl, don't
- 49:51Speaker 2: touch me there. This is my no no square.
- 49:55Speaker 1: Oh okay, all right, Lucy, you do that all the time.
- 50:00Speaker 1: Hey boy, don't touch me there. This is my no,
- 50:03Speaker 1: no no square. I laughed till I cried.
- 50:06Speaker 2: And so especially with this picture here with him going
- 50:09Speaker 2: ah ah ah, no girl, do not touch me.
- 50:12Speaker 1: Don't touch me no.
- 50:15Speaker 2: So it's also good that Jake and Matter are not
- 50:20Speaker 2: covering this show. Yeah, because the way they're talking about
- 50:24Speaker 2: Kola over on Hunt for Love, the way they would
- 50:28Speaker 2: talk about this guy would not be flattering.
- 50:31Speaker 1: To his sexuality. I'll just put it that way, okay.
- 50:34Speaker 1: So back in the tree.
- 50:35Speaker 2: Through in the tree, he says, listen, I know we
- 50:39Speaker 2: have said we're intentional about dating. We're dating to Mary
- 50:41Speaker 2: and she's like, oh, and I want to meet with
- 50:45Speaker 2: your dad to ask for your hand in.
- 50:48Speaker 1: Marry And she's like, I gotta go to my closet. Oh,
- 50:51Speaker 1: my God, and he says, I hope.
- 50:55Speaker 2: You're on board.
- 50:56Speaker 1: She goes, oh, zach Wise, his name is Zach Wise.
- 51:03Speaker 2: And by the way, when he jumped down for that tree,
- 51:05Speaker 2: she did a quick straddle and at a moment, because
- 51:07Speaker 2: I if you guys haven't heard our past episodes talking
- 51:12Speaker 2: about what happens in her prayer closet that time that
- 51:16Speaker 2: Mariah bought her with that hot boyfriend, she just.
- 51:18Speaker 1: Was like, oh, please leave the room. And and oddly
- 51:21Speaker 1: there were pictures of her brother and his wife in
- 51:23Speaker 1: the print closet well, because the Lord, the Lord had
- 51:27Speaker 1: for say, she had pray for their souls. Yeah.
- 51:31Speaker 2: Talking to had Lydia says, it's weird because we had
- 51:34Speaker 2: been dating for sixteen days. When we knew we had
- 51:37Speaker 2: found our forever.
- 51:39Speaker 1: There were just God.
- 51:40Speaker 2: Winks and we knew it was meant to be because
- 51:42Speaker 2: of the way the Lord has moved through our relationship. Now, listen,
- 51:47Speaker 2: I'm not against all that. I think that.
- 51:50Speaker 1: I think that that is like you meet somebody and
- 51:52Speaker 1: you know, and if you know, you know.
- 51:54Speaker 2: You know, and if you're you're both very religious and
- 51:57Speaker 2: you feel that these things are like God telling you
- 52:00Speaker 2: to be together.
- 52:01Speaker 1: I'm but she's too young, Mary Paine, she's too young.
- 52:04Speaker 2: I understand all that, but this is how she's grown up.
- 52:07Speaker 1: This is her nature.
- 52:07Speaker 2: And you think she find somebody. When you're young and
- 52:10Speaker 2: you leave to your husband and you leave your family.
- 52:12Speaker 2: Thank god, she's leave your family. Is with what she's saying? Yeah, okay, yeah,
- 52:17Speaker 2: but not too far because later you want Mariah and
- 52:19Speaker 2: Barry to turn on your spouse, because that's what they
- 52:22Speaker 2: do in the families.
- 52:23Speaker 1: Yes.
- 52:24Speaker 2: So now we're headed over to Boca Raton. One time,
- 52:29Speaker 2: Micah called it a coastal town in Florida. Now we
- 52:32Speaker 2: know it's a book of Baton. Micah and Veronica's house.
- 52:35Speaker 2: They've got the three dogs, and of course Amber is
- 52:37Speaker 2: there because Micah has brought her home.
- 52:39Speaker 1: There.
- 52:40Speaker 2: She's shaving Micah's neck and it's it's creepy and weird.
- 52:46Speaker 2: How much the younger girls are obsessed with Ethan and Micah. Yeah,
- 52:53Speaker 2: not Isaac so much.
- 52:55Speaker 1: No, Isaac was more their contemporary, though he was closer
- 52:58Speaker 1: in age to them.
- 53:00Speaker 2: But Ethan and Micah they when they were over at
- 53:03Speaker 2: Kim's house earlier, yield good clean fun. Micah picked up
- 53:08Speaker 2: a guitar and all the little girls sat at his head.
- 53:10Speaker 1: They really do love him.
- 53:11Speaker 2: Yeah so, And I think it's also when you're not
- 53:15Speaker 2: exposed to the regular world, you're like, these are the
- 53:17Speaker 2: only men that I know, and luckily one of them's hot,
- 53:20Speaker 2: you know. So Veronica and Micah do a talking head together.
- 53:25Speaker 2: Now we're gonna see lots of varying versions of this,
- 53:29Speaker 2: and uh, togetherness in a way and on top of
- 53:33Speaker 2: each other and not and stroking each other and not,
- 53:35Speaker 2: and and hate.
- 53:36Speaker 1: And love all in this.
- 53:38Speaker 2: A lot of hate, a lot of hate, some some
- 53:40Speaker 2: niceness though sure some. So she says, listen again, I
- 53:46Speaker 2: like Veronica. I think she's obviously very smart. I think
- 53:48Speaker 2: she's a very successful realtor. And uh, never forget Ariana
- 53:52Speaker 2: Grande is her stepsister. And she says, yeah, we're doing well,
- 54:00Speaker 2: doing comfortable.
- 54:02Speaker 1: What I will say about Veronica, Wait, can you just
- 54:05Speaker 1: as a fellow England, we're doing We're doing your pain.
- 54:09Speaker 1: I left, I let all that go a long time.
- 54:11Speaker 1: You did, okay, all right? With the with the me
- 54:14Speaker 1: and Olivia, me and Olivia. I just can't.
- 54:16Speaker 2: I can't my parents, my parents, my parents, my siblings.
- 54:20Speaker 1: Go ahead, what I'll see about Veronica is these plats
- 54:24Speaker 1: picked the wrong bitch to mess with. They did she
- 54:28Speaker 1: half cray? She half cray. He is gonna burn it
- 54:30Speaker 1: all down.
- 54:31Speaker 2: She's gonna burn it all down, and not in a
- 54:34Speaker 2: methodical over the years. Calm, let me check with the
- 54:37Speaker 2: lawyer first.
- 54:38Speaker 1: Olivia Away in a I'm throwing moll toof cocktails through
- 54:41Speaker 1: your window kind of And I got a rich dad.
- 54:43Speaker 2: I don't give a fuck.
- 54:43Speaker 1: You can try to sue it right back.
- 54:45Speaker 2: I don't care.
- 54:45Speaker 1: Yep. Yeah.
- 54:47Speaker 2: So, by the way, whenever I see Veronica and they
- 54:51Speaker 2: talk about how tall she is and all this, she's
- 54:53Speaker 2: a tall, stunning woman, and uh, I just say to her,
- 54:56Speaker 2: go find yourself an NBA player or something.
- 54:59Speaker 1: Mm hmm.
- 54:59Speaker 2: So and you don't have to worry about your tallness
- 55:02Speaker 2: in this world.
- 55:03Speaker 1: Yeah, she's very self conscious about it.
- 55:05Speaker 2: And maybe I would be too talked about that. Yeah,
- 55:07Speaker 2: maybe I would be too if I was six feet tall,
- 55:08Speaker 2: you know. Ingrid's daughter Maddie is six feet tall.
- 55:11Speaker 1: Oh okay, And I don't get.
- 55:14Speaker 2: That feeling of tallness with her, do you know what
- 55:17Speaker 2: I mean?
- 55:17Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 55:18Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, And maybe it's because she's like super comfortable.
- 55:20Speaker 2: I don't know. Maybe you know, also a gorgeous girl
- 55:23Speaker 2: that missed her opportunity to be a supermodel. But hey,
- 55:25Speaker 2: she's gone into marketing whatever, okay, using her brain. So
- 55:32Speaker 2: we're doing Comfortable and they say, oh, well, we bought
- 55:34Speaker 2: a house three minutes away, and he goes, yeah, like
- 55:37Speaker 2: I work all day and then I work all night
- 55:40Speaker 2: on that house. We were both working. He goes, I'm
- 55:43Speaker 2: just working all day and she goes, we both do,
- 55:47Speaker 2: and he goes, oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 55:49Speaker 1: Uh huh is he still installing fences because that's what
- 55:52Speaker 1: he was doing.
- 55:53Speaker 2: I think installs fences all day and then he goes
- 55:55Speaker 2: over to the house at night and does like little
- 55:56Speaker 2: odd jobs.
- 55:57Speaker 1: And I think she's bankrolling all of this. Yeah, I
- 56:00Speaker 1: think so.
- 56:00Speaker 2: But I think when she says I'm working all day,
- 56:03Speaker 2: she's like, I'm on I'm on Wayfair dot com used
- 56:07Speaker 2: code pink shade to buy furniture. Yeah, I think that's
- 56:10Speaker 2: what she's doing. So Amber sits with Veronica to do makeup.
- 56:15Speaker 2: This is just a thing that good, clean, fun that
- 56:17Speaker 2: they've always.
- 56:17Speaker 1: Done to the Stanley.
- 56:18Speaker 2: They I've never sat at a makeup table with another
- 56:21Speaker 2: person and talked about makeup in my life.
- 56:24Speaker 1: No me either.
- 56:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't even when I was like into it.
- 56:28Speaker 1: Yeah, no.
- 56:29Speaker 2: So I was upset this morning because I put on
- 56:32Speaker 2: too much concealer. I was like, oh wow, I really
- 56:35Speaker 2: over concealed. Listen, you can I hear this morning? The
- 56:38Speaker 2: bag's under my eyes. Literally need a zip code?
- 56:40Speaker 1: Okay?
- 56:41Speaker 2: So Amber says Veronica. I, yeah.
- 56:46Speaker 1: We're close like sisters. Uh, sisters, but.
- 56:51Speaker 2: I get along with her better than my actual sisters.
- 56:53Speaker 1: So that's weird. That's weird that this is your older
- 56:56Speaker 1: brother's girlfriend and you fight with her. I was just
- 56:58Speaker 1: gonna say, first of all, that's weird. Veronica is what
- 57:02Speaker 1: twenty some years old? Why are you fighting with a
- 57:04Speaker 1: fifteen year old? What is that? I don't know. I
- 57:09Speaker 1: don't know.
- 57:10Speaker 2: Okay, And Veronica talks to Amber and says, this reminds
- 57:18Speaker 2: me when I used to sit and do make up
- 57:19Speaker 2: with Mariah. But we don't talk anymore. And you see
- 57:23Speaker 2: Veronica in the way they filming get Veronica gives her
- 57:29Speaker 2: the side eye like are you hearing me? And when
- 57:31Speaker 2: I tell you, Amber looks directly at the camera like
- 57:35Speaker 2: jimp from the office.
- 57:38Speaker 1: She looks directly.
- 57:39Speaker 2: I think it took me a second to capture it
- 57:41Speaker 2: because it was it was a quick but Ronica's looking
- 57:44Speaker 2: over at her, like, am I right?
- 57:46Speaker 1: Girl? Here's the time or shit talking? Mariah?
- 57:48Speaker 2: Am I right? And Amber looks at the camera's like,
- 57:51Speaker 2: I've been doing this shit since I was seven. Yeah,
- 57:54Speaker 2: uh uh no, You're not gonna get me.
- 57:56Speaker 1: Uh huh.
- 57:58Speaker 2: So Veronica tells us that last year Mariah told her
- 58:04Speaker 2: all these horrible things about her boyfriend, and I researched
- 58:08Speaker 2: him and I learned more horrible things, and then Mariah
- 58:11Speaker 2: broke up with him great or right before the concert
- 58:16Speaker 2: she got back with him. We see Mike in the
- 58:19Speaker 2: talking head. Micah says, yeah. After the concert, Mariah turned
- 58:24Speaker 2: her back on Veronica, and Mariah told Barry Dad. Mariah
- 58:30Speaker 2: told Barry that the things Veronica had said about the
- 58:33Speaker 2: ex boyfriend were not true. Barry told Micah, Michael told
- 58:38Speaker 2: Veronica it wasn't received. Well, I need a listener to
- 58:43Speaker 2: let me know. Does this happen in your family? Is
- 58:45Speaker 2: everybody also in each other's fucking business? And mom and
- 58:49Speaker 2: dad are included in like a seventeen year old's argument
- 58:52Speaker 2: with a twenty five year old woman, And what the
- 58:54Speaker 2: fuck is happening here?
- 58:55Speaker 1: I will tell you that this is more common I
- 58:58Speaker 1: think in larger families that I know. My husband was
- 59:02Speaker 1: in a large family. They were always all up in
- 59:05Speaker 1: each other's business. Really, this is not how my family operates.
- 59:10Speaker 1: We all kind of ignore each other. But I have
- 59:14Speaker 1: noticed I think it's more common in larger families.
- 59:17Speaker 2: I don't know why, if ever, I would have told
- 59:22Speaker 2: a sister something in confidence about a boyfriend, a husband,
- 59:26Speaker 2: or something. If I told my sister that in confidence,
- 59:29Speaker 2: don't tell mom and dad, they would not tell mom
- 59:31Speaker 2: and dad.
- 59:32Speaker 1: Same in my family. But I know for a hundred
- 59:34Speaker 1: I know for a fact some families around me that
- 59:38Speaker 1: would not be the same. They would the phone lines
- 59:41Speaker 1: would be burning up immediately to the parents.
- 59:44Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, no, no, no, no, no. We do a
- 59:47Speaker 2: lot of this days between us. Don't tell mom, yes, yes,
- 59:51Speaker 2: because Mom, if you're listening, I'm sorry she's not listening.
- 59:53Speaker 1: Part of that, Mary Paine, too, is that we are
- 59:55Speaker 1: gen xers and parents were the enemy. So you had
- 59:58Speaker 1: you had a bond with your ship ling that was
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: like we're against them. Okay, no, no, no.
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: My siblings were bonded together, and then I was the
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: outlier right now, But now that we're older, I could
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: be like I will say sometimes to my sisters, Oh,
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: we don't talk about that in front a mom, right,
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: we do, Like they mom doesn't know about this drama
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: of this, that and the other.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: And I feel like that's appropriate. Yeah, I feel like
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: that's not should be my kids. I'm sure have secrets
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: that I don't know about and I don't want to know.
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: Oh god, yeah yeah, Okay, Hey y'all, this is a
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: two parter and this is the end of part one.
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: Part two is already in your feed, and thanks for listening.
