- 0:09SPEAKER_02: Hi, and welcome to this episode of Sassin's Sips.
- 0:12SPEAKER_02: Today we're going to be talking about Good Girls Season 1, Episode 4, Atom Bomb.
- 0:18SPEAKER_02: I'm Lisa, and today I am sipping on a little spiked lemonade.
- 0:25SPEAKER_03: Nice.
- 0:26SPEAKER_02: And I'm gonna I'm not gonna tell you what it's spiked with, although you can probably guess.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: It just better be good.
- 0:34SPEAKER_02: It is good, yeah.
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: And I'm Agnes, and I'm drinking a very, very, very strong black eye.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: Because it's been a it's been a weekend, and I'm not mad at it.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: So, any hot takes?
- 0:51SPEAKER_02: Not really.
- 0:54SPEAKER_02: Um Boomer's fucking annoying, and I'm a little less confused about Boomer's role.
- 1:04SPEAKER_02: Still a little confused, but a little less confused.
- 1:07SPEAKER_02: Like obviously this episode puts some shit in perspective.
- 1:11SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 1:12SPEAKER_02: You um I mean I know it's like weird because you've seen it, but you know.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: Um, I have some thoughts on Annie and Sadie's relationship, and I think I'll just wait till we get to that scene.
- 1:26SPEAKER_02: Oh, that's another hot take.
- 1:29SPEAKER_02: How the fuck does that school let that happen?
- 1:33SPEAKER_02: Like I can't get in the front door of my kids' school without having to like knock and show ID and and I'm a fucking parent.
- 1:44SPEAKER_02: And I have uh I don't wanna say um like clearance, but I'm cleared to work in the school.
- 1:53SPEAKER_02: But you yet you won't let me in just to see I mean, not that you won't let me in, but like I still can't just open the door and walk in when I literally have clearance that I'm physically able to work in that school.
- 2:05SPEAKER_02: So make that make sense.
- 2:07SPEAKER_02: And then they're like, oh, but it's understaffed.
- 2:10SPEAKER_02: Why is a kid that can spell, do you know who my father is, going to a school that's understaffed?
- 2:16SPEAKER_02: So that part was like plot hole, but okay.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: They had to find a way to get him in and prove a point.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: So they had to, you know, like we gotta just bypass the logic the logical shit.
- 2:29SPEAKER_02: Uh-huh.
- 2:30SPEAKER_02: Still a still less plot hole so far than reunion.
- 2:34SPEAKER_02: But I was like, what the f that don't make no sense.
- 2:37SPEAKER_02: Like, not one fucking adult in that cafeteria.
- 2:41SPEAKER_02: A cafeteria where kids get veggie medleys and juice boxes.
- 2:45SPEAKER_02: No.
- 2:46SPEAKER_02: No.
- 2:46SPEAKER_02: They got enough money for that, but not one fucking adult.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: Uh, that was funny.
- 2:51SPEAKER_02: If there's enough teachers, trust me when I tell you the teachers will have to do lunch duty.
- 2:57SPEAKER_02: Paris have to do lunch duty.
- 2:59SPEAKER_02: Everyone has to do fucking lunch duty because they don't leave kids unsupervised in 2018.
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: Okay, so if there was an if they were doing their job, Sadie wouldn't have her pants pulled during lunch.
- 3:10SPEAKER_02: Well, that's another good point.
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: So, obviously, it's it's it's it's a bigger problem.
- 3:17SPEAKER_02: That's assuming that her pants were pulled down at lunch.
- 3:20SPEAKER_02: But the kids were already throwing shit.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: Right, so the pants were gonna have like, yeah.
- 3:25SPEAKER_02: Yeah, because I I mean I could I could just you know, I've worked in schools, I could see how you could pass somebody in a hallway and they could do it.
- 3:36SPEAKER_02: And then it's kind of like a little bit more chaotic.
- 3:40SPEAKER_02: So like that part is very believable.
- 3:43SPEAKER_02: But the whole just some random guy walks in, sits down, and I'm like, Yeah, not so much, but okay, but I get the point.
- 3:56SPEAKER_02: Okay, continue, please.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: You're so cute.
- 3:59SPEAKER_02: I know.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: Um, so the scene, the episode rather, starts off with Beth coming home with the kids at the grocery shopping, and Kenny is begging for her to throw her a banging.
- 4:13SPEAKER_00: Do they still say that?
- 4:14SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I don't know.
- 4:15SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 4:16SPEAKER_00: A banging birthday party that involves decadence, like chocolate fountains, because his friend Tommy had a birthday party.
- 4:27SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it was like, oh, she took everyone to the game, and and then we got a hotel, and she's like, Yeah, now they can't pay for college.
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: And obviously, this kid don't give a fuck about college.
- 4:39SPEAKER_00: He wants a bangin' birthday party.
- 4:41SPEAKER_00: I didn't want to say bangin' and boomer.
- 4:44SPEAKER_00: Boomer.
- 4:45SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 4:48SPEAKER_00: Well, Kenny keeps trying to negotiate.
- 4:51SPEAKER_00: Emma's trying to get Beth's attention because, well, you know, mom, mom, mom, there is a man in her bed.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: Bum, bum, bum.
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: So Beth goes upstairs with a bat.
- 5:05SPEAKER_00: Well, she grabs a bat from, I'm assuming Kenny's room, and it's a guy who's been wounded to the extent that he's left a nice little blood photo and was bad.
- 5:15SPEAKER_02: This is why you have to have bats handy around your house because she had to go all the way upstairs before she fucking got one.
- 5:23SPEAKER_00: Well, you know, I'm hoping after this um initiation in her new career, she'll start leaving stuff throughout the house.
- 5:31SPEAKER_00: She'll learn her lesson.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: Beth is calm and just chill.
- 5:38SPEAKER_00: She's like, oh, this is where we're at.
- 5:40SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 5:41SPEAKER_00: And she tries to redirect Emma with the opportunity to go swimming at Dean's motel.
- 5:46SPEAKER_00: And that works like a charm.
- 5:48unknown: Yeah.
- 5:48SPEAKER_02: Wanna go swimming at Daddy's?
- 5:50SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: Uh that wouldn't work for me or my brother.
- 5:54SPEAKER_00: We were like, yeah, no, what the fuck?
- 5:56SPEAKER_00: I'm just saying, at that age, it still wouldn't have worked for us.
- 5:58SPEAKER_00: I'm like, um.
- 6:03SPEAKER_00: Ruby, meanwhile, is working a shift at the diner, dealing with three teenage boys.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: The leader has clearly made harassing her his pastime.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: And today is no different as he starts in.
- 6:14SPEAKER_00: How does one become a waitress here?
- 6:17SPEAKER_00: Like, what college has the best programs?
- 6:20SPEAKER_00: Do you have to buy the uniform?
- 6:21SPEAKER_00: Because that's some high quality polyester right there.
- 6:24SPEAKER_02: I'm surprised she didn't spit in his milkshake sooner.
- 6:27SPEAKER_02: I mean, I think he did this time, but you know.
- 6:29SPEAKER_00: I'm pr yeah, I'm one of his friends laughs so hard, he does a spit take with his milkshake.
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: And the douchebag leader, teenage, it's is it okay to call a teenager a douchebag?
- 6:41SPEAKER_00: Yes, when they are like douchebags.
- 6:43SPEAKER_00: Cool.
- 6:44SPEAKER_00: There is no age limit.
- 6:47SPEAKER_00: I will you want to be an asshole at a teenager?
- 6:50SPEAKER_00: I would call you a douchebag as a teenager.
- 6:53SPEAKER_00: The leader tells Ruby to go make his friend another one.
- 6:56SPEAKER_00: Chop chop.
- 6:58SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 6:59SPEAKER_00: We're not gonna go into that.
- 7:01SPEAKER_00: Now considering it's Ruby.
- 7:06SPEAKER_00: And she is now a certified badass because she shot someone.
- 7:10SPEAKER_02: And she uh yeah, that kid better wash the fuck out.
- 7:16SPEAKER_02: You better watch his fuse.
- 7:17SPEAKER_00: She's rolling with gang members now, so she's badass.
- 7:20SPEAKER_00: She calls him out on his shit before leaving him with this sizzling hot fajita platter.
- 7:26SPEAKER_00: And because he's as stupid as he really is, he touches the hot sizzling skillet.
- 7:31SPEAKER_00: Everyone knows it comes out.
- 7:35SPEAKER_00: You know that shit is hot.
- 7:36SPEAKER_02: Not only do you hear it, but that's why it also comes out on one of those like the wood thing.
- 7:41SPEAKER_02: Like the whicker.
- 7:42SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 7:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 7:44SPEAKER_00: And then he, of course, because he's a genius, he's a stable genius, he burns himself.
- 7:53SPEAKER_00: And Ruby goes, Oh, that might be hot.
- 7:57SPEAKER_00: So Annie's doing what she's doing.
- 7:59SPEAKER_00: She's trying to get her kid out the door.
- 8:01SPEAKER_00: Because, as all parents, morning is always chaotic.
- 8:05SPEAKER_00: No matter how well you plan, there's always something.
- 8:08SPEAKER_00: And you're pushing the kids out the door.
- 8:11SPEAKER_00: Sadie can't find anything to wear.
- 8:14SPEAKER_00: And the pants Annie just bought her are apparently too big.
- 8:18SPEAKER_00: Um, because she said that they were what does she say?
- 8:23SPEAKER_00: Hot as fuck, hot AF or lit as AF.
- 8:28SPEAKER_02: Oh, I think lit.
- 8:29SPEAKER_00: Lit?
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 8:31SPEAKER_00: Because, oh well, lit is no longer used anymore.
- 8:34SPEAKER_00: It was retired.
- 8:35SPEAKER_00: Do you remember when douchebag Jr.
- 8:41SPEAKER_00: when um when is when the re it was a Republican, no, a Democratic Supreme Justice was retiring and it was his father's turn to like replace him.
- 8:55SPEAKER_00: Who was it that retired?
- 8:56SPEAKER_00: I can't remember.
- 8:56SPEAKER_00: It's on the tip of my tongue.
- 8:58SPEAKER_00: He's like, oh, this is about to be lit.
- 8:59SPEAKER_00: He did a Twitter post about this is about to be lit.
- 9:04SPEAKER_00: And then after that, we're like, okay, you know what?
- 9:06SPEAKER_00: Lit is now dead.
- 9:07SPEAKER_02: I I remember the thing about like, okay, yeah, nobody's gonna use it.
- 9:11SPEAKER_02: I don't remember.
- 9:12SPEAKER_00: And they haven't.
- 9:13SPEAKER_00: They've chewed to where no one has lit, no one has used that word since it's been retired.
- 9:20SPEAKER_00: Um, because she has Annie's really good knowing her daughter.
- 9:24SPEAKER_00: She knows Sadie really well, and she's good that way.
- 9:28SPEAKER_02: You could see though when she realizes Right, because like you could just see it in her face, like she just wants to cry.
- 9:37SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 9:38SPEAKER_00: So she asks, she's like, she actually asks, a kid's pulling down your pants.
- 9:43SPEAKER_00: And Sadie goes, they wouldn't know what I am.
- 9:45SPEAKER_00: At this point, this is when Annie's eyes just start swelling up.
- 9:50SPEAKER_00: And what she does now, I don't know if anyone will see it the same way as I do, but she takes a moment, composes herself, and she throws out one of her Annie flippant remarks.
- 10:06SPEAKER_00: And she's like, We'll get you about.
- 10:08SPEAKER_00: It'll be pink and sparkly.
- 10:10SPEAKER_00: And she gives Sadie a minute to just like decompress and compose herself at the same time.
- 10:16SPEAKER_02: It was just like a really good example of her knowing, like you said, like of her knowing her kid and knowing how to figure out a way to handle the situation without making Sadie feel like shitty about it.
- 10:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 10:31SPEAKER_00: And I think anyone else would have been like, oh no, they would have gone straight.
- 10:35SPEAKER_00: Not that going straight mama bear, papa bear would have been a bad reaction, but it wasn't what Sadie needed at that moment.
- 10:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 10:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 10:43SPEAKER_02: Because I would have wanted to go to the school with like a fucking match.
- 10:47SPEAKER_00: Burn that shit down.
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 10:49SPEAKER_00: And I would be in my mugshot smiling.
- 10:51SPEAKER_02: Mm-hmm.
- 10:52SPEAKER_00: Saying, and I would do it again.
- 10:54SPEAKER_02: I'd be like, Ruby, can I borrow that lighter from your kid?
- 10:58SPEAKER_02: I got places to go.
- 11:26SPEAKER_00: We now go to apparently Beth has called Ruby and Annie to ask them to help.
- 11:33SPEAKER_00: And she needs to confess her crimes of telling them, like, yeah, I kind of volunteered us to do to continue working with this guy.
- 11:42SPEAKER_02: But she's like, maybe.
- 11:44SPEAKER_02: You know, I said maybe.
- 11:46SPEAKER_02: Like, I don't know, did you?
- 11:47SPEAKER_02: Because I guess the audience wasn't privy, so we don't know if you're lying, we're not Beth.
- 11:52SPEAKER_00: And typical Ruby fashion, because she has like the best quotes.
- 11:56SPEAKER_00: You can't sign people up for criminal activity like it's a bake sale.
- 12:03SPEAKER_01: That was good.
- 12:03SPEAKER_01: That was good.
- 12:07SPEAKER_00: Of course, they still have to figure out what the hell's going on, what they have to do, and hunt down Ryo.
- 12:13SPEAKER_00: Because they don't know his name at this point.
- 12:16SPEAKER_00: They still don't know his name.
- 12:17SPEAKER_00: And actually, looking like that, I don't need to know your name.
- 12:20SPEAKER_00: Um, that's just me.
- 12:22SPEAKER_00: Because, you know, it's not like they can keep throwing out strings of pearls.
- 12:30SPEAKER_00: So Annie goes, she takes the hit, and she goes to um find some things.
- 12:37SPEAKER_00: So she finds a gun.
- 12:39SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they were looking for like the wallet.
- 12:41SPEAKER_00: The wallet, whatever.
- 12:43SPEAKER_00: So they find his phone and a gun.
- 12:44SPEAKER_00: Yay! Keep it away from Ruby.
- 12:47SPEAKER_00: That's just my personal opinion.
- 12:49SPEAKER_00: So they ask, okay, what's the last number he dialed?
- 12:52SPEAKER_00: She goes, Papa John.
- 12:53SPEAKER_00: They're like, hello, a person.
- 12:55SPEAKER_00: What's the last person he calls?
- 12:57SPEAKER_00: And this is kind of touching because everyone has a heart.
- 13:00SPEAKER_00: And you see, his next call is mom.
- 13:03SPEAKER_02: Mom, mom.
- 13:04SPEAKER_02: There's like 40 calls to mom.
- 13:06SPEAKER_00: To mom.
- 13:06SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, oh, that's so touching.
- 13:08SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 13:09SPEAKER_00: And then dun-dun-dun.
- 13:11SPEAKER_00: They're like, why did he just go to mom's house?
- 13:14SPEAKER_00: Because he's too busy gangbanging.
- 13:16SPEAKER_00: He doesn't bring that about his mom's house.
- 13:18SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 13:18SPEAKER_00: You know.
- 13:20SPEAKER_00: Next, they finally find another name.
- 13:22SPEAKER_00: It's Rio.
- 13:24SPEAKER_00: This is funny because obviously he shows up.
- 13:26SPEAKER_00: So they've been he's been summoned.
- 13:29SPEAKER_01: Who summoned?
- 13:30SPEAKER_01: Rio.
- 13:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah, Rio's been summoned.
- 13:32SPEAKER_00: But at the same time, he's still holding court at her house.
- 13:35SPEAKER_00: So it's kind of like.
- 13:38SPEAKER_00: And it's okay.
- 13:41SPEAKER_00: Beth goes, This is not what I signed up for.
- 13:43SPEAKER_00: This is not what I had in mind.
- 13:45SPEAKER_00: He goes, Oh, so you think you can pick and choose what you want to do and when you want to do it?
- 13:49SPEAKER_00: Ruby goes, she goes, Well, she thought it'd be like driving Uber.
- 13:55SPEAKER_00: What did Beth think was going to happen?
- 13:59SPEAKER_02: When you tell you, like, like, hello, here's okay, here's like a lit, it's gonna be like Craig's list.
- 14:04SPEAKER_02: It's gonna be like Rio's list, okay?
- 14:06SPEAKER_02: Here are the jobs that I have available.
- 14:08SPEAKER_02: Smuggle wrapping paper and from Canada, shoot people in the foot, mend broken gang uh gangbangers in your kids' bed, and you could just click on the one you want.
- 14:19SPEAKER_02: Like Yeah, I I guess she.
- 14:23SPEAKER_02: Although, actually, that might not be a bad thing for some tech savvy person on the dark web to be like, hey, this is this might be a good opportunity.
- 14:32SPEAKER_02: You're welcome.
- 14:33SPEAKER_00: It's kind of like remote um personal assistance.
- 14:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they should definitely do that.
- 14:40SPEAKER_00: But then he did like one of the sexiest things ever.
- 14:44SPEAKER_00: He takes a stack out of his pocket.
- 14:46SPEAKER_00: And she's like, no.
- 14:48SPEAKER_00: Takes a second stack out of her pocket out of his pocket.
- 14:51SPEAKER_00: She's like, I have kids.
- 14:53SPEAKER_02: And Ruby and Annie, like, uh, well, you go buy a new bed.
- 14:57SPEAKER_02: Kids like, fuck those kids.
- 14:59SPEAKER_02: Yeah, fuck kids.
- 15:02SPEAKER_00: She's like, I'm sure that would cover the cost of a mattress.
- 15:05SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 15:06SPEAKER_00: Then the third stack.
- 15:07SPEAKER_00: They're like, all right, fine, bad.
- 15:09SPEAKER_00: I'm in.
- 15:11SPEAKER_00: Scene.
- 15:12SPEAKER_00: End scene.
- 15:13SPEAKER_00: The next scene is a boomer who's having his own meeting with one agent Turner from the FBI.
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: He's telling Turner about following and losing the girls in Canada and how they stole a car to get there.
- 15:26SPEAKER_00: And of course, the agent is more than moderly, more than just slightly amused at Boomer, because he's Boomer.
- 15:33SPEAKER_00: Who's not amused at Boomer?
- 15:34SPEAKER_02: I know.
- 15:35SPEAKER_02: Mr.
- 15:35SPEAKER_02: Peterson.
- 15:36SPEAKER_02: Leslie Peterson.
- 15:37SPEAKER_02: Leslie.
- 15:37SPEAKER_02: He's that soon.
- 15:39SPEAKER_02: Well, now we know why he goes by Boomer.
- 15:41SPEAKER_00: I don't know what she's worth.
- 15:42SPEAKER_00: I think I might want to go by Leslie as opposed to Boomer.
- 15:45SPEAKER_00: Um, he goes, so what's her name?
- 15:47SPEAKER_00: You're the one you don't.
- 15:48SPEAKER_00: He goes, Annie.
- 15:49SPEAKER_00: He goes, yeah.
- 15:50SPEAKER_00: My Annie was named Paula.
- 15:51SPEAKER_00: And she just kept friend zoning me.
- 15:53SPEAKER_00: He's like, but no, that's not what it is.
- 15:55SPEAKER_00: I can prove it.
- 15:56SPEAKER_00: I can't prove it, but I can prove it.
- 15:58SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 15:59SPEAKER_00: But I can't.
- 16:00SPEAKER_00: But I can.
- 16:01SPEAKER_00: He's like, yeah, okay.
- 16:03SPEAKER_02: And clearly Boomer has no friends.
- 16:07SPEAKER_02: Because while you and I have made up some crazy shit in our heads about what could possibly be going on with other people.
- 16:20SPEAKER_02: Even, even if we dared to follow them into another country, we would not be going to the authorities.
- 16:30SPEAKER_02: We would not be going to the feds.
- 16:32SPEAKER_02: Like, we would be like, oh my god, what do you think that they're doing?
- 16:35SPEAKER_02: We'd either be finding out or just talking to each other about it.
- 16:40SPEAKER_02: Like, Boomer, go get some friends and stop putting your nose into other people's business.
- 16:46SPEAKER_00: Well, because, you know, he's Boomer and he's man and women can't do anything.
- 16:51SPEAKER_00: And he's he's a loser.
- 16:54SPEAKER_02: Yeah, obviously.
- 16:57SPEAKER_02: And no, actually, Lisa, you would very loser behavior though.
- 17:01SPEAKER_02: Like you, you, you want to just be all up in the shit.
- 17:04SPEAKER_02: Because, like, what, you don't have any friends, so they can't have any fun.
- 17:09SPEAKER_00: You and I would have to do some detective work and seeing.
- 17:13SPEAKER_00: We would have to find out how good they are at what they're doing.
- 17:17SPEAKER_00: And then, like, hey, can we be friends?
- 17:19SPEAKER_00: We want to join your client.
- 17:21SPEAKER_00: We want to join this um bakes, the new booster club, right?
- 17:29SPEAKER_00: Um so Ruby is at home with Stan and she's telling him about the Vajita Gate.
- 17:38SPEAKER_00: And he's like, So just apologize.
- 17:43SPEAKER_00: He was like, for what?
- 17:44SPEAKER_00: Which part of it, like, part of it is like I didn't burn him.
- 17:50SPEAKER_00: Everyone needs to have be accountable for your own actions.
- 17:52SPEAKER_02: And so, he's like, and what's next?
- 17:54SPEAKER_02: Like, we're gonna tell you that your ice cream might have a chill.
- 17:58SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 17:59SPEAKER_02: I mean, it is like it's such fucking common sense, but we live in such a litigious country that it's like, you know, God forbid your hot coffee is hot, and I don't tell you, or it's not written on the fucking cup, you're gonna turn around and be like, hi, I'd like to order a hot coffee, and then say, ow, I burned myself, I'm suing you.
- 18:20SPEAKER_02: And what's only the only thing that's dumber than the guy who does that, well, not necessarily a guy, but the person who does that is the fucking jury who's like, Yeah, you know what?
- 18:30SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you deserve a million dollars.
- 18:33SPEAKER_02: Or the the dumbass who puts glue in their hair and then is like, oh my god, I got glue in my hair.
- 18:38SPEAKER_02: Like I this is this is how we are here.
- 18:44SPEAKER_02: Because we took warnings off of plastic bags.
- 18:48SPEAKER_00: No, the warnings are still there, aren't they?
- 18:51SPEAKER_02: I mean because we put war sorry, yeah.
- 18:54SPEAKER_02: Because we put warnings.
- 18:55SPEAKER_02: We needed to it if you're old enough to read the warning on a plastic bag, you're older than it's not.
- 19:05SPEAKER_00: Just take all the warnings off and let's just survive all the things.
- 19:09SPEAKER_02: You don't know that you need to wear a helmet when you ride a motorcycle because you think your head is harder than the pavement.
- 19:15SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 19:17SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 19:18SPEAKER_02: Seat belts are not just for fun.
- 19:21SPEAKER_02: Hot things are actually hot.
- 19:26SPEAKER_02: I like I just I hate stupidity.
- 19:29SPEAKER_02: Dumb questions don't bother me, but stupidity does.
- 19:33SPEAKER_01: I can occur.
- 19:34SPEAKER_02: And this is just flat out stupidity for profit.
- 19:39SPEAKER_01: And that bothers me.
- 19:48SPEAKER_00: If I'm being sued for something stupid, I need you on my jury.
- 19:53SPEAKER_02: I'll be there.
- 19:54SPEAKER_00: Thanks.
- 19:54SPEAKER_02: I'll be outside the they won't put me on the jury, but I could be outside the courthouse with posters.
- 20:00SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 20:01SPEAKER_02: And a megaphone.
- 20:03SPEAKER_00: I I I guess that would No, we just have to fix it so they do on the jury.
- 20:08SPEAKER_00: Sorry.
- 20:09SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 20:10SPEAKER_02: We're gonna have to I ain't moving over there, so you're gonna have to move back.
- 20:13SPEAKER_02: Otherwise, that's impossible.
- 20:15SPEAKER_00: Fine.
- 20:16SPEAKER_00: Fine.
- 20:17SPEAKER_02: Unless, of course, you know Elon Musk.
- 20:19SPEAKER_02: I hear he can rig things.
- 20:23SPEAKER_00: He did such he did such a bang up job at it here.
- 20:26SPEAKER_02: Um Well, you know.
- 20:27SPEAKER_02: Well, no, but he he he did do a good job in other ways, so so Stan has a um come to Jesus moment with her.
- 20:38SPEAKER_00: Um he's like, our kid are more is more important than your pride.
- 20:43SPEAKER_00: Sarah's medicine has to go on four different credit cards.
- 20:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 20:48SPEAKER_00: And it's more like, okay, I see your fajita boy, and I raise you a Paul Blart.
- 20:53SPEAKER_02: Like that was tough.
- 20:55SPEAKER_02: It was tough because nobody wants to sacrifice the dignity.
- 21:02SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 21:03SPEAKER_02: But you know, when you have kids, you do whatever you have to do to keep them healthy, you keep them happy, you keep them alive.
- 21:11SPEAKER_02: Um It's rough.
- 21:14SPEAKER_02: And you know, and and I feel like I feel like Ruby There was no wrong decision also.
- 21:23SPEAKER_00: Like the only wrong decision was the manager not having her back.
- 21:27SPEAKER_00: That was to me was a wrong decision.
- 21:29SPEAKER_02: That was wrong, and well I feel like it was wrong to not be honest with him afterwards.
- 21:41SPEAKER_02: Um, Stan.
- 21:43SPEAKER_02: She should have not lied to her husband.
- 21:46SPEAKER_02: She definitely should have told him the truth.
- 21:50SPEAKER_02: But I'm going ahead because then there's something else.
- 21:53SPEAKER_00: She was really afraid.
- 21:54SPEAKER_00: I like see he had just got accepted to the police academy.
- 21:58SPEAKER_02: So she's like And he made this big speech about like, oh, let's not let the kids down.
- 22:02SPEAKER_02: So she probably felt like she was gonna let him down, let the kids down, and like look at him taking one for the team, and I I didn't but then also like at the end when she was like after the the whole thing, she tells the her boss and she's like I'll go clean out my locker.
- 22:24SPEAKER_02: But it was kind of defeating.
- 22:25SPEAKER_02: So I feel like she should have at least been like, and I'll go clean out my locker now.
- 22:30SPEAKER_02: Because at least own it.
- 22:33SPEAKER_02: Not because like you exerted all this power and then at the end it was kinda like you know keep keep with your full chest.
- 22:45SPEAKER_02: You know what I mean?
- 22:46SPEAKER_02: Like and this and that, and I'll go clean out my locker.
- 22:50SPEAKER_02: Peace, bitches.
- 22:52SPEAKER_02: Like you know.
- 22:55SPEAKER_02: But that's just me.
- 22:57SPEAKER_02: That's just you.
- 22:58SPEAKER_02: Like if you're gonna if you're gonna stand up on your pedestal, you you stand up here for everything.
- 23:04SPEAKER_00: Ten toes down.
- 23:05SPEAKER_00: I said what I said.
- 23:07SPEAKER_00: To be fair, this was before I said what I said.
- 23:09SPEAKER_00: I think everyone's just so angry now with bullshit.
- 23:15SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 23:16SPEAKER_00: You know, people still had like, fuck, I did that shit.
- 23:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 23:23SPEAKER_02: I mean, I don't know, but yeah.
- 23:27SPEAKER_00: Um, after this, she had that light conversation with her husband.
- 23:32SPEAKER_00: She um goes checks up on the babysitting situation with gunshot victim.
- 23:41SPEAKER_00: Gangster.
- 23:42SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 23:42SPEAKER_00: That's so funny.
- 23:43SPEAKER_02: Gang guy.
- 23:44SPEAKER_00: Gengay.
- 23:44SPEAKER_00: I've got to think of something else.
- 23:45SPEAKER_00: I gotta think of a nickname for him.
- 23:47SPEAKER_00: Genguy.
- 23:48SPEAKER_00: Um she said, You guys been up all night?
- 23:51SPEAKER_00: And Annie goes, she has.
- 23:53SPEAKER_00: I've been sleeping peacefully right next to her, though.
- 23:57SPEAKER_02: Yeah, like on the steps.
- 23:59SPEAKER_00: Just chilling.
- 24:00SPEAKER_00: Um, so they go up to look at check in on him.
- 24:04SPEAKER_00: Like, I just I just wonder, did they like change his bandages?
- 24:07SPEAKER_00: Did they do anything?
- 24:09SPEAKER_00: I don't think so.
- 24:10SPEAKER_00: Making sure he's alive would be kind of part, even if it wasn't said, that should be kind of assumed.
- 24:16SPEAKER_00: That's what you're getting paid to do.
- 24:18SPEAKER_00: Um, you know, keep him alive, keep him safe.
- 24:20SPEAKER_00: But anyway, keep the gang members safe.
- 24:23SPEAKER_00: They go up there, the gun's missing, they can't find the gun.
- 24:26SPEAKER_00: Well, they hear like a thump.
- 24:27SPEAKER_00: Thump.
- 24:28SPEAKER_00: And that's what makes them go upstairs.
- 24:31SPEAKER_00: Beth goes in.
- 24:32SPEAKER_00: They look okay.
- 24:33SPEAKER_00: First of all, Emma has an ensuite.
- 24:40SPEAKER_02: Does that, I mean, does does that surprise you?
- 24:42SPEAKER_00: No.
- 24:43SPEAKER_00: Okay, the fact that there's other bedrooms and ensuites, no.
- 24:46SPEAKER_00: But if the youngest child has an ensuite, that means the middle child probably has one.
- 24:50SPEAKER_00: And every bedroom with the Jack and Jill.
- 24:53SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 24:54SPEAKER_02: It needs That's true.
- 24:56SPEAKER_00: But yeah, I want an ensuite.
- 24:59SPEAKER_00: Um, she goes into her ensuite.
- 25:04SPEAKER_02: You could, but just have to build a door in your closet and go right into your bathtub.
- 25:09SPEAKER_00: You remember?
- 25:10SPEAKER_02: I remember.
- 25:11SPEAKER_00: Oh, she loves me.
- 25:12SPEAKER_00: I actually thought about that.
- 25:13SPEAKER_00: Like next to my closet is the linen, like next to the closet in my room, it kind of goes back a little bit.
- 25:19SPEAKER_00: On the other side of that wall is my linen closet.
- 25:22SPEAKER_00: On the other side of that is like the another coat closet.
- 25:28SPEAKER_00: So I could probably make that, you know, my little tunnel.
- 25:32SPEAKER_00: Or I could take the unit next to me and make this one huge apartment.
- 25:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 25:39SPEAKER_00: And then because I have stairs share a wall, so I have a I'll have like two, like I have a stair.
- 25:46SPEAKER_00: So that's my dream to have two, yeah.
- 25:48SPEAKER_00: But anyway.
- 25:49SPEAKER_02: Um here I was thinking your dream might not be living in Wisconsin, but okay.
- 25:56SPEAKER_02: Potato potato.
- 25:58SPEAKER_00: Nothing with that.
- 26:00SPEAKER_00: Um, she goes into her bathroom.
- 26:02SPEAKER_00: They're like, we can't find the gun.
- 26:04SPEAKER_00: And then she goes, there's a gun in her face.
- 26:06SPEAKER_00: She goes, I found it.
- 26:10SPEAKER_00: He's like, Where am I?
- 26:11SPEAKER_00: She's like, You're in my house.
- 26:13SPEAKER_00: So he's obviously a little bit, you know, discommodulated.
- 26:17SPEAKER_00: Because, you know, who can blame him?
- 26:19SPEAKER_00: He goes, I need your car.
- 26:20SPEAKER_00: And fucking Annie.
- 26:21SPEAKER_00: She's like, I got weak nails.
- 26:23SPEAKER_00: Let me give you my car keys.
- 26:25SPEAKER_01: Ruby's like, I took the bus.
- 26:29SPEAKER_00: Um, Beth, the leader of the gang, the leader of the mini gang, I like the call.
- 26:35SPEAKER_00: She's like, the car keys downstairs, take it, just go.
- 26:38SPEAKER_00: So they're like, okay, they're fucked now.
- 26:41SPEAKER_00: You know, they're charged, has been, he's out, he's gone.
- 26:46SPEAKER_00: So they're on the couch, they're drinking, their sorrows away.
- 26:51SPEAKER_00: And Beth, her first thing goes, that's two car seats in a booster seat.
- 26:55SPEAKER_00: That's like$600.
- 26:57SPEAKER_00: And I felt that.
- 26:58SPEAKER_00: I felt like those things are expensive.
- 27:01SPEAKER_00: They are you cannot have them.
- 27:04SPEAKER_00: And then they're like, Carl.
- 27:10SPEAKER_00: That's Emma's bunny.
- 27:12SPEAKER_00: And Beth goes, yeah, he was on the dashboard.
- 27:15SPEAKER_00: And he goes, now he's doing a drive-by.
- 27:20SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 27:22SPEAKER_00: Um, and Beth, it's kind of like, I kind of gave Beth a side-eyed because she's like, I'm so tired of almost dying.
- 27:30SPEAKER_00: And Ruby's like, Oh, are you?
- 27:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 27:33SPEAKER_00: Like, bitch, you signed us up for this shit.
- 27:37SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 27:38SPEAKER_02: I guess she just thought it was gonna be all wrapping paper in Canada.
- 27:43SPEAKER_00: But still, you're still fucking with the gang.
- 27:45SPEAKER_00: Like, you know, guns in your face, it's gonna happen.
- 27:49SPEAKER_00: It's like, it's part of the job.
- 27:52SPEAKER_00: You gotta deal with it.
- 27:54SPEAKER_00: And I like the fact that as soon as the kids come in, they just they all just like chug.
- 28:00SPEAKER_00: They just take a sick swallow and they put everything away.
- 28:04SPEAKER_00: Professional drinking moms.
- 28:05SPEAKER_02: Feel like hiding it.
- 28:07SPEAKER_02: And I feel bad because I wouldn't.
- 28:09SPEAKER_02: I'm like, I wouldn't have either.
- 28:10SPEAKER_02: I'm like, oh my god, does that make me a bad mom?
- 28:13SPEAKER_02: Apparently, it makes both of us a bad mom.
- 28:16SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 28:17SPEAKER_02: So can he walk in?
- 28:19SPEAKER_02: One of my kids, my my older kids learn how to pour uh from a keg.
- 28:26SPEAKER_02: But you know, pour a good pour during COVID.
- 28:29SPEAKER_02: So I I guess we're terrible moms.
- 28:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah, wait till they get older and you're drinking with them.
- 28:41SPEAKER_00: It it's I'm only a couple of years away from that.
- 28:46SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's different.
- 28:48SPEAKER_02: I'm just happy now that they can be designated drivers.
- 28:53SPEAKER_00: Okay, even then when my dog, um, I don't want you driving me around.
- 28:56SPEAKER_00: Uh well.
- 29:01SPEAKER_00: Kenny's first words when he walks in the house is Mom, don't be mad at dad.
- 29:05SPEAKER_00: And that's your cue to be livid at dad, not just mad.
- 29:09SPEAKER_00: The worst phrase to begin with.
- 29:11SPEAKER_00: The worst phrase, don't be mad.
- 29:16SPEAKER_02: And it's even worse when in its adult.
- 29:19SPEAKER_00: Very much so.
- 29:20SPEAKER_00: It was a kid, you're like, mm-mm.
- 29:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah, powerful.
- 29:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 29:25SPEAKER_00: But don't be mad means I'm going to be mad.
- 29:27SPEAKER_00: Not just a grown-up.
- 29:28SPEAKER_00: Someone's bloodshed.
- 29:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 29:33SPEAKER_00: Um, so Dean promised him a birthday party, and he was like, I invited all my friends.
- 29:39SPEAKER_00: Five of them can't show up, but 32 will.
- 29:42SPEAKER_00: Like, oh, that makes it so much better.
- 29:44SPEAKER_00: Thanks.
- 29:45SPEAKER_02: I I'm a little like because Dean is like, oh, but you know, do you know what he wants?
- 29:53SPEAKER_02: And it's guilt and blah, blah, blah.
- 29:54SPEAKER_02: And it's like, but Dean, where did you think we were gonna come up with this money?
- 30:00SPEAKER_03: That's right.
- 30:01SPEAKER_02: And that's but that you see, that's the problem.
- 30:03SPEAKER_02: Is that right, is that he didn't think at all.
- 30:09SPEAKER_02: It's not like you have money in your savings that was allocated for something else that you can dip into.
- 30:16SPEAKER_02: You've got jack shit.
- 30:18SPEAKER_02: And last time I checked, you can't pay for a party on pubes.
- 30:23SPEAKER_02: So what the fuck were you planning to do?
- 30:29SPEAKER_00: Depends if you sell them on Onifans, maybe you can't.
- 30:32SPEAKER_02: Although these yeah, these these days maybe you could.
- 30:35SPEAKER_02: But you know what I'm saying?
- 30:36SPEAKER_02: Like how how did you I like I just don't understand the and that's the for me, that's the part that pissed me off more because you know, if if I was in Beth's position and my husband came home, and I'm telling you and telling you and telling you, like, we ain't got money for shit.
- 30:58SPEAKER_02: Like, we barely have money for the mortgage, and you come home and say, hey, we gotta throw a fancy party, I'm gonna be like, well, you better go pick up nice fucking corner and stay out there until you make enough money to pay for the party.
- 31:12SPEAKER_02: Because I don't know what the fuck you think we're you if if you can make money appear out of nowhere, I'd have a new car.
- 31:19SPEAKER_00: We wouldn't be in this position.
- 31:20SPEAKER_00: Let's start off with that.
- 31:21SPEAKER_00: Well, my house would have been mortgaged three times over, so you know.
- 31:26SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 31:27SPEAKER_02: I wouldn't be doing shit for gangs.
- 31:32SPEAKER_02: Uh yeah, that that I think was the thing that pissed me off the most in this whole fucking episode.
- 31:40SPEAKER_02: It was like, he just comes in and is like, hey, by the way, we gotta throw a party.
- 31:44SPEAKER_02: We.
- 31:46SPEAKER_02: We now I'm sure Beth was like, I'll handle it.
- 31:51SPEAKER_02: But where did Dean think that this we was coming from?
- 31:56SPEAKER_00: Because not even if they had the money, who was gonna have to go out and buy the shit and organize it and set it up?
- 32:03SPEAKER_00: Dean was like, Yeah, we're gonna do it.
- 32:05SPEAKER_00: But he has no idea as far as the paying, the planning, the setup, nothing.
- 32:10SPEAKER_02: If Dean was good with money, he he wouldn't have had three mortgages on the house that he can't pay for.
- 32:15SPEAKER_00: But even it's not for me, what pissed me off was yes, the money was an obvious problem, but the execution.
- 32:23SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 32:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I know.
- 32:28SPEAKER_01: What?
- 32:30SPEAKER_01: That's what I'm saying.
- 32:31SPEAKER_01: It was just so typical.
- 32:35SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 32:36SPEAKER_01: Like you know you have financial problems.
- 32:40SPEAKER_02: Why the fuck are you volunteering this big ass party because you feel guilty?
- 32:46SPEAKER_02: Kids won't like it, they'll get over it.
- 32:50SPEAKER_02: They'll be fine.
- 32:50SPEAKER_02: They'll get over it.
- 32:51SPEAKER_02: Because I promise you, a f a roof over their head and food in their bellies is way more important than a party.
- 32:58SPEAKER_02: They will get over it.
- 32:59SPEAKER_02: Kids live without parties every fucking day.
- 33:02SPEAKER_02: Good thing we've always been broke.
- 33:04SPEAKER_02: So my kids They're fine.
- 33:07SPEAKER_02: They're fine.
- 33:08SPEAKER_02: Right?
- 33:08SPEAKER_02: They're fine.
- 33:09SPEAKER_02: They used to know chocolate fountains.
- 33:11SPEAKER_00: Because I feel like, you know, the moment they do get something like, wait, what's going on?
- 33:14SPEAKER_00: This is suspicious.
- 33:16SPEAKER_00: I know, I know.
- 33:18SPEAKER_00: This is a setup.
- 33:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 33:21SPEAKER_00: So the the girls are going shopping at dun dun dun cloud nine, which is yes, from superstore.
- 33:28SPEAKER_02: I was like, ooh, I like that show.
- 33:31SPEAKER_00: But I liked that show.
- 33:33SPEAKER_00: Um, so they get a like the little things here and there.
- 33:37SPEAKER_00: There's like a little pathetic little shopping cart.
- 33:41SPEAKER_00: And the cashier goes, just so you know, our return policy is valid for 30 days with a valid receipt, anything in the store.
- 33:49SPEAKER_00: Hold that thought.
- 33:51SPEAKER_00: Hold that.
- 33:53SPEAKER_00: We'll be back.
- 33:56SPEAKER_00: And they go on a massive shopping spree, which I completely support.
- 34:00SPEAKER_02: I my anxiety was like, I don't think I can do that in real life.
- 34:07SPEAKER_00: I couldn't quit.
- 34:08SPEAKER_00: Because I would be something breaks or something.
- 34:11SPEAKER_00: Something right.
- 34:12SPEAKER_02: The receipt's gonna get lost, some the dog is gonna eat it.
- 34:16SPEAKER_02: I could she was like, she spent$10,000 on all that shit.
- 34:21SPEAKER_02: I can't, I can't do that.
- 34:23SPEAKER_00: I could, but I'm just like, how did you even get the money?
- 34:26SPEAKER_00: Like, my credit cards wouldn't even allow me.
- 34:28SPEAKER_00: Even if I know I was gonna get the money back, they wouldn't even allow me to do that.
- 34:32SPEAKER_02: But I mean, like, the most that I've done is like buy a dress, wear it to something, and then return it.
- 34:39SPEAKER_02: And all the while I'm still like so mindful that I am potentially going to have to keep this dress, like if I fuck it up.
- 34:49SPEAKER_02: And I'm talking about like a hundred dollar dress, you know, like not ten thousand dollars, you know.
- 34:57SPEAKER_02: So I'm like, when am I ever gonna wear this dress again?
- 35:00SPEAKER_02: There's no point in keeping it.
- 35:02SPEAKER_02: I might, you know, I'd rather have my hundred bucks, but ten thousand fucking dollars for oh my god.
- 35:07SPEAKER_02: My anxiety was like through the roof.
- 35:10SPEAKER_02: But okay.
- 35:12SPEAKER_00: It does sound like a fun party, though.
- 35:14SPEAKER_00: Like as you're buying up.
- 35:15SPEAKER_00: I'm like, I wanna I wanna be there.
- 35:16SPEAKER_02: And first of all, the house was big enough for the bounce house.
- 35:22SPEAKER_02: Did I say the bounce was big enough?
- 35:23SPEAKER_02: The house was big enough.
- 35:25SPEAKER_00: You said it right the first time.
- 35:26SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 35:26SPEAKER_02: The house was big enough, the yard is big enough for the bouncy house, the popcorn, the cotton candy, for all these damn kids.
- 35:35SPEAKER_02: And I say that because, well, I know I'm skipping ahead a little bit, but Boomer was like, How much you think you paid they paid?
- 35:43SPEAKER_02: And, you know, look at how much you think a party like this costs.
- 35:46SPEAKER_02: Like, look at the house that they live in.
- 35:48SPEAKER_00: That shouldn't have been the question for you to ask.
- 35:50SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 35:50SPEAKER_00: I mean, you don't know that, like, just walking in, like, oh yeah, they can afford it, you know.
- 35:55SPEAKER_00: So that's it.
- 35:56SPEAKER_02: And they have four kids.
- 35:58SPEAKER_02: So, first of all, they could have rented the bounce house.
- 36:00SPEAKER_02: People do that shit all the time.
- 36:02SPEAKER_02: And all the other stuff, how do you know that they didn't just buy it, you know, throughout the years?
- 36:10SPEAKER_00: And then the bounce house is not that expensive to rent.
- 36:13SPEAKER_00: Side note.
- 36:14SPEAKER_00: No, right.
- 36:14SPEAKER_02: That's what I'm saying.
- 36:15SPEAKER_02: That's that's why people rent them.
- 36:18SPEAKER_02: Because they're not, I mean, they're they're not cheap, but they're not that expensive.
- 36:22SPEAKER_02: And if you rent it, it's not like purchasing it.
- 36:26SPEAKER_02: So, yeah.
- 36:27SPEAKER_02: I I was like, that's that was a stupid question.
- 36:29SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 36:31SPEAKER_00: So, but sorry.
- 36:33SPEAKER_00: As they're checking out, Annie gets a text from Sadie's school.
- 36:38SPEAKER_00: Um, Greg is already there.
- 36:41SPEAKER_00: And he goes, I spoke to the principal and I kept her from getting suspended suspended, whatever.
- 36:47SPEAKER_00: Um, she punched a guy.
- 36:50SPEAKER_00: She punched a dude.
- 36:52SPEAKER_00: And he goes, but you know why?
- 36:53SPEAKER_00: Like, this is this is another reason.
- 36:56SPEAKER_00: Regardless of Annie's ability, financial abilities of taking care of Sadie, she's the obvious question was, did you ask Sadie?
- 37:06SPEAKER_00: Did you talk to Sadie?
- 37:07SPEAKER_02: Because he was like, Oh, she punched a dude, and she was like, Oh, thank God.
- 37:11SPEAKER_02: And he was like, What?
- 37:14SPEAKER_02: And she that's what she was like, Oh, did she tell you?
- 37:16SPEAKER_02: Like, because honestly, if I get a call from the school and I have to run to the school for my kid, and then they're like, Oh, she punched somebody, I would have been relieved too.
- 37:28SPEAKER_02: Honestly.
- 37:29SPEAKER_02: I mean, and even if I didn't know why, I still would have been relieved that it wasn't because somebody punched her.
- 37:36SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 37:37SPEAKER_00: Because even if you don't know what the details are, you should know your kid well enough to like, okay, what happened?
- 37:42SPEAKER_00: At least ask the questions.
- 37:44SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 37:46SPEAKER_00: You want to continue?
- 37:49SPEAKER_00: Do you want me to?
- 37:50SPEAKER_00: No, I don't know.
- 37:51SPEAKER_00: I'm just I just I keep losing track because I keep getting cut off.
- 37:57SPEAKER_00: I'm sorry.
- 37:58SPEAKER_00: So I'm like, do you just want to finish it?
- 38:00SPEAKER_02: I just don't touch an additive with me.
- 38:04SPEAKER_02: I'm just don't blink at me either.
- 38:08SPEAKER_00: I'm blinking.
- 38:10SPEAKER_00: This is four episodes in.
- 38:11SPEAKER_00: I'm blinking.
- 38:12SPEAKER_02: I'm just I'm you know what?
- 38:14SPEAKER_02: We've we've got like seven fucking seasons plus the uh bonuses.
- 38:22SPEAKER_02: Like I'm just not used to sitting.
- 38:25SPEAKER_00: So, yeah, I guess okay, like ladies of London.
- 38:28SPEAKER_00: I tried to start it and you took over.
- 38:30SPEAKER_00: I'm like, okay, fuck me.
- 38:33SPEAKER_00: Reunion.
- 38:34SPEAKER_00: I said something about oh, I'm getting sidetracked because we went back and forth, and you took over.
- 38:38SPEAKER_00: I'm like, okay, fine.
- 38:40SPEAKER_02: I'm just I'm just like okay, but but no, but call me out and I'll shut the fuck up.
- 38:45SPEAKER_02: Like, remind me.
- 38:46SPEAKER_02: I'm trying, okay.
- 38:47SPEAKER_02: Um, we're the floor.
- 38:49SPEAKER_02: We're up to when Ruby like apologizes.
- 38:54SPEAKER_00: Hold on a second.
- 38:56SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 38:58SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 38:59SPEAKER_00: The epic scene when she um okay, so they took all these pictures.
- 39:04SPEAKER_00: And the fact that the Karen, I'm calling Karen, is like, you hurt my child.
- 39:10SPEAKER_00: No, bitch.
- 39:11SPEAKER_02: Your child hurt himself.
- 39:13SPEAKER_02: Right, right.
- 39:15SPEAKER_02: If she placed the pen, the plate on his hand, then That would be a even if she did, she he kind of deserved it.
- 39:21SPEAKER_02: I'm like, he definitely deserved it.
- 39:23SPEAKER_00: Kid or not, he deserved it.
- 39:25SPEAKER_00: And I'm just really pissed off at the manager because he just sat there and he was like, like, really, this one customer is gonna make him break your business and you're gonna allow this bullshit.
- 39:39SPEAKER_00: And this is when Ruby has her little speech.
- 39:42SPEAKER_00: She's like, I am so sorry.
- 39:44SPEAKER_00: I'm sorry that your kid's a moron.
- 39:46SPEAKER_00: I'm sorry you have your head so far up your ass.
- 39:48SPEAKER_00: And I'm so sorry you're entitled asshole.
- 39:51SPEAKER_02: She was like, I am one sorry bitch.
- 39:54SPEAKER_02: I am one sorry bitch.
- 39:58SPEAKER_02: And that's when after she said all of that, that's when she was like, I'll go clean out my locker.
- 40:03SPEAKER_02: Like it was just kind of like, but she she was just so strong through all of the, and I'm sorry that your kids this, and I'm sorry that you're like I wanted her to be like, and I'll go clean out my locker.
- 40:17SPEAKER_02: Like, hair flip and walk the fuck away, you know?
- 40:21SPEAKER_00: You know, I I think we all have that moment in our careers or our lives where we're like, there was some shit that I took from my previous life, my previous career, because in my back of my head, I'm like, I have to have a family take care of.
- 40:39SPEAKER_00: I need this job.
- 40:41SPEAKER_00: Before that period in time, I'm like, I said what I said and I didn't give a fuck.
- 40:45SPEAKER_00: And I got promoted twice in six months.
- 40:46SPEAKER_00: And I was like, oh.
- 40:48SPEAKER_00: And then obviously after I left, it was like, you know, you don't take shit standing down.
- 40:54SPEAKER_00: But there was that period where I was just like, no, I have to take this because I have a bigger purpose.
- 41:01SPEAKER_00: I have a reason.
- 41:02SPEAKER_00: And I think that she was at that point in her life.
- 41:04SPEAKER_00: She's like, oh, I just fucked up my shit.
- 41:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 41:08SPEAKER_02: But there's only so much a person can take.
- 41:11SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 41:12SPEAKER_02: And and let's like let's be real here, okay?
- 41:18SPEAKER_02: The job Ruby was working was kind of a seemingly shitty diner job.
- 41:27SPEAKER_02: I'm sure she could find another one.
- 41:28SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 41:29SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 41:29SPEAKER_02: Like she and I and and I'm I don't say it to take away from people who work that job or who work fast food or it's kind of harder to find a niche job as opposed to some yeah, no, it's it's right.
- 41:44SPEAKER_02: It's not like she was working in, like you said, a niche job where it's like, oh, there's only one in our city.
- 41:50SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 41:50SPEAKER_00: And I got fired for like you know, you have a supply-demand situation as opposed to the job itself.
- 41:56SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 41:57SPEAKER_00: So that is fair.
- 41:58SPEAKER_00: I think doesn't Annie say that to her too?
- 42:01SPEAKER_00: Like, pretty much have that conversation.
- 42:03SPEAKER_00: Like, well, you could find another shitty job.
- 42:05SPEAKER_00: Maybe I don't, I don't remember.
- 42:06SPEAKER_00: I think she actually said that.
- 42:07SPEAKER_00: I was feeling like a thing.
- 42:10SPEAKER_02: That's what I'm saying.
- 42:10SPEAKER_02: That's why, like, if if I was in Ruby's position, I don't know if I would have, I mean, I don't know if I would have used all the same words as her.
- 42:19SPEAKER_02: I don't, I don't know if I'm as tough as Ruby, but I don't know if I would have made a different decision.
- 42:26SPEAKER_02: Because, like, my God, like, she's obviously been taking abuse from this kid and his friends for a while, enough that she knows exactly his MO.
- 42:36SPEAKER_02: So I I don't I don't blame her.
- 42:38SPEAKER_02: And I don't know if I would have made a different decision myself.
- 42:41SPEAKER_00: I don't think anyone would have.
- 42:43SPEAKER_00: As posed, maybe I think this decision may have been, like you said, go harder, but doing it, I don't think anyone would have not done that.
- 42:53SPEAKER_00: At least wanted to.
- 42:55SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 42:55SPEAKER_02: And it sucks though, like you said, that he didn't stick up for her.
- 42:59SPEAKER_02: The um, the manager.
- 43:01SPEAKER_00: And I think I'd like to say a little bit more, especially after COVID, there are more people that are less tolerant of the care and bullshit.
- 43:10SPEAKER_00: The cares and chats are not, I mean, there's still enough of them and they're still being like pacified.
- 43:18SPEAKER_00: But I like to think there are more people like have a good day.
- 43:22SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 43:23SPEAKER_02: And the truth is, even when she was talking, you quote, talking to the kid when she was serving him, yeah, she was being sarcastic.
- 43:32SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you can, you know, you got what she was doing.
- 43:36SPEAKER_02: But she still was so like almost nice about it.
- 43:43SPEAKER_00: That nice nasty.
- 43:44SPEAKER_02: That it's right.
- 43:45SPEAKER_02: That when that kid turned around, if he was just spouting fats, what was he gonna say?
- 43:50SPEAKER_02: Well, she said, um, please don't leave the money in the milkshake or something like you know what I mean?
- 43:56SPEAKER_02: And and that's the best part of it.
- 43:59SPEAKER_02: Which is, and she didn't say, here, your plate's not hot.
- 44:03SPEAKER_02: She put it down and said, Oh, did I forget to say it was hot?
- 44:05SPEAKER_02: Like, you know, like that was that was the only part, was really like, mm, okay.
- 44:11SPEAKER_00: And that is why they come at when you that nice, nasty, and just give them facts, they come back with the fake outrage.
- 44:20SPEAKER_00: They have to find a reason to be outraged.
- 44:23SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 44:23SPEAKER_00: And you have to look at them like.
- 44:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm a calling you bullshit.
- 44:26SPEAKER_02: Hey Stella.
- 44:28SPEAKER_02: There's a bird on the windowsill, and I left that window cracked like this much.
- 44:35SPEAKER_02: Not last night, the night before, like Friday night.
- 44:38SPEAKER_02: When I woke up, there were feathers all over the fucking windowsill.
- 44:41SPEAKER_02: The screen I don't know if you could see.
- 44:45SPEAKER_00: I see something.
- 44:46SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I don't but like there is no screen.
- 44:50SPEAKER_02: It's all ripped.
- 44:53SPEAKER_02: Oh fucking cat.
- 44:55SPEAKER_02: Yeah, Leia.
- 44:56SPEAKER_02: And then I was like, I'm gonna cut your fucking nails.
- 44:58SPEAKER_02: And when I caught her, there was still a feather in her fucking nails.
- 45:00SPEAKER_02: I was like, what the fuck did you do?
- 45:04SPEAKER_02: I swear to god, the screen, because she had already made like another rip in it.
- 45:08SPEAKER_02: Like another day.
- 45:10SPEAKER_02: And so I literally only left it open this much.
- 45:13SPEAKER_02: I didn't think she was really gonna like.
- 45:16SPEAKER_02: So I gotta order the kit to replace the screen now.
- 45:20SPEAKER_02: Well, female Casa Huntress, that's what they do.
- 45:24SPEAKER_02: The ironic part is that with the other window, that they can literally there's no place for them to sit here.
- 45:32SPEAKER_02: Over there, they can sit in the window and see the birds, but that's free and it's fine.
- 45:37SPEAKER_02: And that's one of those like ones that you buy in like the dollar store for five minutes.
- 45:41SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
- 45:42SPEAKER_02: No, no problem.
- 45:43SPEAKER_02: I can take, you know, it's it's like literally you just sit it in the window and open it.
- 45:48SPEAKER_02: And expand it.
- 45:48SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 45:49SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 45:49SPEAKER_02: That one is perfect.
- 45:51SPEAKER_02: They don't fuck with it.
- 45:53SPEAKER_00: It's because it's perfect.
- 45:54SPEAKER_00: It's too much, it's too easy.
- 45:56SPEAKER_00: So anyway.
- 45:57SPEAKER_00: But like, no, we need a challenge.
- 45:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 46:01unknown: I was like, what the fuck?
- 46:02SPEAKER_02: There were just all feathers and like the fact that I even had a take one out of her her fucking nail.
- 46:09SPEAKER_02: I love that.
- 46:11SPEAKER_00: You should get a picture of it.
- 46:12SPEAKER_02: No, I don't think a picture.
- 46:14SPEAKER_00: Birds beware.
- 46:15SPEAKER_00: My cat's crazy.
- 46:16SPEAKER_02: I like that the birds sit, you know, come because I put the bird seat on the window, but I didn't but there's like question, do you put bird seat on all the windows?
- 46:26SPEAKER_02: Yeah, there's bird seat over there too.
- 46:28SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 46:29SPEAKER_02: And on top of the garage.
- 46:30SPEAKER_02: So they they go on the roof.
- 46:32SPEAKER_02: So that's why they like to sit at that window because they can watch it.
- 46:35SPEAKER_02: But I guess the bird came too close over here.
- 46:39SPEAKER_03: Fucking cats.
- 46:42SPEAKER_03: Sorry.
- 46:43SPEAKER_00: We got a cats.
- 46:44SPEAKER_00: Huh?
- 46:45SPEAKER_00: At least your cat cats.
- 46:46SPEAKER_00: My cat.
- 46:48SPEAKER_00: He was like, Oh, where's the pillow?
- 46:50SPEAKER_00: He seems to hand the pillow under the covers.
- 46:54SPEAKER_00: So day the party arrives, and this is when Boomer who brings in the huge, he goes, I upgraded the cake.
- 47:01SPEAKER_00: And he's like, Why?
- 47:03SPEAKER_00: I just thought I'd be nice.
- 47:05SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 47:05SPEAKER_00: We can start from scratch.
- 47:07SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 47:08SPEAKER_00: Is this like I'm sorry, I'm trying to rape you cake.
- 47:11SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 47:12SPEAKER_00: Like, and then he gives Kenny a fucking spa bath.
- 47:17SPEAKER_00: What the fuck?
- 47:19SPEAKER_02: Which makes him creepy.
- 47:20SPEAKER_00: He goes, You take baths.
- 47:21SPEAKER_02: He was like, Do you take a bath?
- 47:22SPEAKER_02: You get squeaky clean.
- 47:24SPEAKER_02: Squeaky clean.
- 47:25SPEAKER_02: Oh, it was making like that's awkward to even tell another adult.
- 47:30SPEAKER_02: Adult.
- 47:30SPEAKER_02: Never mind an 11-year-old boy.
- 47:33SPEAKER_02: Just it uh you should have bought him a video game or a poster.
- 47:38SPEAKER_02: Or nothing at all.
- 47:39SPEAKER_02: Or nothing.
- 47:42SPEAKER_00: A spa basket.
- 47:43SPEAKER_00: I would love a spa basket.
- 47:45SPEAKER_00: I just want one.
- 47:46SPEAKER_00: Because, you know, they're not.
- 47:48SPEAKER_02: For an adult.
- 47:48SPEAKER_02: Because someone just buy me a spa basket.
- 47:50SPEAKER_00: I'll throw another to the universe just in case someone wants to buy me a big one.
- 47:53SPEAKER_02: Agnes' birthday is in October.
- 47:54SPEAKER_02: Somebody sent her a spa basket.
- 47:56SPEAKER_02: Thanks.
- 48:01SPEAKER_00: Rio, our favorite gang leader.
- 48:04SPEAKER_02: Oh yeah, but hold on.
- 48:05SPEAKER_02: And then um, so Annie was like something about sorry.
- 48:12SPEAKER_02: And she was like, Oh yeah, you can something like on your way out.
- 48:17SPEAKER_02: And she told him to leave.
- 48:19unknown: Yeah.
- 48:19SPEAKER_00: Oh, he goes, Oh, is that turkey pinwheels?
- 48:21SPEAKER_00: She's like, but take one on your way out.
- 48:24SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 48:24SPEAKER_02: She she told him basically to leave.
- 48:27SPEAKER_02: But without boomer.
- 48:28SPEAKER_02: But he's you know.
- 48:29SPEAKER_00: He could do whatever he wants because he's a boomer.
- 48:31SPEAKER_00: He is man.
- 48:31SPEAKER_00: Hear him roar.
- 48:33SPEAKER_00: He also asked the lady how much you know she.
- 48:36SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 48:36SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's what she he asked like some random fucking lady how much you think they spent.
- 48:41SPEAKER_02: Oh, how inappropriate.
- 48:42SPEAKER_02: Like that's the kind of question, like, if you're gonna ask, you ask your friend.
- 48:46SPEAKER_00: Like, hey, Lisa.
- 48:47SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 48:47SPEAKER_00: How much music?
- 48:49SPEAKER_00: But he has no friends.
- 48:50SPEAKER_00: Back to what you said earlier.
- 48:52SPEAKER_00: He has no social skills either.
- 48:54SPEAKER_00: No, he has nothing.
- 48:55SPEAKER_00: There's nothing going for him.
- 48:57SPEAKER_00: How sexy.
- 48:58SPEAKER_00: Um gang.
- 49:00SPEAKER_02: So side note, right?
- 49:02SPEAKER_02: I told you I know him from It's Always Sunny.
- 49:05SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 49:05SPEAKER_02: And I swear to God, like, if I know you don't watch that, but anybody who watches that and knows him as cricket, I feel like even Cricket and all his troubles that he has on It's Always Sunny is still a better, more decent guy than Boomer.
- 49:25SPEAKER_02: That is that is saying a lot.
- 49:28SPEAKER_02: But go ahead.
- 49:29SPEAKER_02: Sorry.
- 49:29SPEAKER_00: Oh, cricket is that bad?
- 49:31SPEAKER_00: That Boomer is belial.
- 49:35SPEAKER_00: I've already compared Boomer to an amoeba, but no, you know, not even amoeba, he's less an amoeba.
- 49:40SPEAKER_00: Because these, you know, survival skills.
- 49:42SPEAKER_02: Cricket is like cricket's the guy you call in when you know somebody is gonna be there for you, but like he's really, really undesirable.
- 49:52SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 49:52SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 49:53SPEAKER_02: For for reasons.
- 49:55SPEAKER_02: Boomer is the guy you call cricket to come and handle.
- 49:59SPEAKER_00: Okay, got it.
- 50:05SPEAKER_02: Although, in fairness, the gang from It's Always Sunny pretty much were the ones who ruined Cricket's life.
- 50:10SPEAKER_02: So there's that.
- 50:11SPEAKER_00: But Okay.
- 50:12SPEAKER_00: Sorry, Cricket.
- 50:14SPEAKER_02: What the head?
- 50:15SPEAKER_02: Sorry.
- 50:17SPEAKER_00: Tell me why Rio decides now at this party with the whole 32 children and some of their parents to come pick up his package.
- 50:28SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 50:28SPEAKER_02: Maybe he didn't know when he set out to head there.
- 50:32SPEAKER_00: I mean, I'm sure he did, but I'm just saying, it just seems like he always has like the best timing.
- 50:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 50:38SPEAKER_00: Quote unquote.
- 50:39SPEAKER_00: Like it's I don't think he intentionally meant it, but it's just like you, he has a knack for picking the worst time.
- 50:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 50:49SPEAKER_00: And I maybe he does know.
- 50:51SPEAKER_00: He probably does.
- 50:51SPEAKER_00: Knowing him, yeah, he does know.
- 50:54SPEAKER_02: Did they run a birthday party?
- 50:55SPEAKER_02: Now is a good time.
- 50:57SPEAKER_02: And he's just standing there at the door.
- 50:59SPEAKER_02: And like they're they're all like holding their children a little tight.
- 51:06SPEAKER_02: But like, what was he?
- 51:08SPEAKER_02: A black eye on the subway, and that's your purse?
- 51:10SPEAKER_02: Like, I feel like I'm toxic.
- 51:12SPEAKER_00: What do you think he's gonna do?
- 51:14SPEAKER_00: If I saw him, this is how I know I'm toxic.
- 51:17SPEAKER_00: I would have been like, ooh, my panties are wet.
- 51:20SPEAKER_00: I would have been like, I'm gonna make friends.
- 51:22SPEAKER_02: I mean, he's just standing there.
- 51:24SPEAKER_02: Like, my god, like he I know, it's such a turn on.
- 51:28SPEAKER_02: I don't know what I'm saying, but like that then they're like hugging their children.
- 51:31SPEAKER_02: Like, Jesus, relax.
- 51:33SPEAKER_02: Like he's just existing.
- 51:35SPEAKER_02: He's colored.
- 51:36SPEAKER_00: I mean, you know, listen, the tattoos on his neck, you know, and then he gets off this aura of danger, which is like, oh, come here.
- 51:43SPEAKER_02: Um so okay, I know that this is a tangent, and maybe we'll leave it in, maybe we won't.
- 51:48SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 51:50SPEAKER_02: But you know, the house is for sale over there.
- 51:52SPEAKER_02: Um one of the people who came to look at it, they looked so fucking douchey.
- 52:00SPEAKER_02: Like the whole family just looks so fucking douchey.
- 52:04SPEAKER_02: The kind of people who would like rape a girl behind a dumpster in college and then be like, Well, we don't want to ruin the lives, you know.
- 52:11SPEAKER_02: Oh god.
- 52:12SPEAKER_02: And Alex was getting ready to go to work.
- 52:14SPEAKER_02: So I was like, hurry up, go outside, hurry up so that they can see you because then they're not gonna want to live here.
- 52:23SPEAKER_02: So I'm like, we gotta be like I think it was Stepbrothers, right?
- 52:27SPEAKER_02: Where when they were selling the house that they just keep doing stuff so that people won't buy the house.
- 52:31SPEAKER_00: I didn't see the movie, but stop.
- 52:34SPEAKER_02: I saw a movie that you haven't seen.
- 52:36SPEAKER_00: I don't like that genre.
- 52:38SPEAKER_00: Oh, I love comedies.
- 52:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 52:42SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 52:42SPEAKER_02: So any anybody has anybody has tips for something that won't make me look crazy to the neighbors who already live here, but how I can reject people sentiments.
- 52:53SPEAKER_02: Put some of my way.
- 52:54SPEAKER_00: I should just have your husband stand up front, period.
- 52:57SPEAKER_00: That's what I said.
- 52:57SPEAKER_02: I'm like, hurry up, just go outside with your brown skin and your big ass beard.
- 53:02SPEAKER_02: And and it's funny because they were because the people were out of the house.
- 53:05SPEAKER_02: They were standing outside talking.
- 53:07SPEAKER_02: And so as he's walking to the car, I could see from inside the house the people in the car, like, because they had already gotten in the car.
- 53:15SPEAKER_02: By the time he went outside, I could see them just watching him walk.
- 53:21SPEAKER_02: And uh yeah, I was like, okay, I hope it worked.
- 53:25SPEAKER_00: It worked, but at the same time.
- 53:27SPEAKER_00: Fuck.
- 53:28SPEAKER_00: Why the fact that it worked kind of pisses me off.
- 53:30SPEAKER_02: I swear to God, I could see because it was two cars, and I could see both of them l looking at him.
- 53:38SPEAKER_00: Okay, the fact that pisses me off, but yay, if you're gonna be a racist son of a bitch, I'm gonna use it to my advantage.
- 53:45SPEAKER_02: Wait, so you find out that the house across the street got black people and the people over here are like Egyptian.
- 53:50SPEAKER_02: Oh.
- 53:50SPEAKER_02: Oh, no, no.
- 53:52SPEAKER_02: Can we come out cutting their scissors?
- 53:56SPEAKER_02: Jeez, I know.
- 53:57SPEAKER_02: Sorry.
- 53:58SPEAKER_02: She's doing that.
- 53:59SPEAKER_02: Are you getting that notification also?
- 54:01SPEAKER_02: No, I'm listening to her.
- 54:03SPEAKER_02: Something popped up on my screen, says, Are you playing music?
- 54:06SPEAKER_02: No, that's my dog.
- 54:08SPEAKER_00: That's my dog.
- 54:10SPEAKER_02: Okay, sorry.
- 54:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and I'm sound like like we gotta get some more diversity up in this block.
- 54:18SPEAKER_00: Make friends with the crazy people.
- 54:21SPEAKER_00: And like, hey, when we have like undesirables, can you just like cut your grass with your scissors?
- 54:28SPEAKER_02: Like, can you just send the old man outside, please?
- 54:31SPEAKER_02: Because he looks really sketchy.
- 54:33SPEAKER_02: Send your mom out there with her rubber gloves.
- 54:37SPEAKER_02: No, because by comparison, the sun looks pretty normal.
- 54:40SPEAKER_00: But I'm truly, you know what might happen?
- 54:42SPEAKER_00: They just might move here intentionally and then be calling ice every other week.
- 54:46SPEAKER_02: Jokes on them.
- 54:47SPEAKER_02: Although these days that doesn't matter.
- 54:48SPEAKER_02: But that's what I'm saying.
- 54:50SPEAKER_02: Jokes on them.
- 54:50SPEAKER_02: It might backfire.
- 54:52SPEAKER_02: It might backfire.
- 54:53SPEAKER_02: I swear to God, if ice shows up at my house, you're gonna see me on the news.
- 54:57SPEAKER_02: If ice shows up on this block, I don't give a fuck.
- 55:01SPEAKER_02: You will see me on the news.
- 55:03SPEAKER_00: I'll send I'll fill up the commissary for you.
- 55:05SPEAKER_02: It was nice knowing you.
- 55:07SPEAKER_02: I don't think they have commissary in El Salvador, because that's that's what they'll send my ass.
- 55:10SPEAKER_02: Oh, that's true.
- 55:11SPEAKER_02: If if I'm even alive, they'll probably step on my neck because oh wait.
- 55:17SPEAKER_02: No, they'll take me to Burger King first.
- 55:20SPEAKER_00: That's not funny, but it's funny.
- 55:22SPEAKER_02: It's true.
- 55:23SPEAKER_02: Well, I'm not a white guy who shot up a black shit.
- 55:26SPEAKER_02: But you know what?
- 55:26SPEAKER_02: At the Maybe they won't take me to Burger King.
- 55:29SPEAKER_02: But you know what?
- 55:30SPEAKER_02: White lady who is sticking up for brown people, so they'll deport you to your country of your birth.
- 55:37SPEAKER_00: Well, send me to fucking Brooklyn then.
- 55:40SPEAKER_00: Like Lisa, I can see you now.
- 55:41SPEAKER_00: Like, I am totally for the Mediterranean.
- 55:44SPEAKER_00: I am from I am I'm from Spain.
- 55:47SPEAKER_00: I'm from Spain.
- 55:48SPEAKER_00: Portugal.
- 55:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah, any of those countries at this point.
- 55:51SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 55:53SPEAKER_02: Send me back to Brooklyn.
- 55:55SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 55:56SPEAKER_02: They'd be like, fine.
- 55:57SPEAKER_02: Like, you wanna know?
- 55:58SPEAKER_02: Like the hospital I was born in isn't even there anymore.
- 56:01SPEAKER_02: But do you want to know what room it was?
- 56:03SPEAKER_00: But you but you know what they're so stupid, they're like, fine, we're gonna deport you to Brooklyn.
- 56:07SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I was born at Lich, go find the records.
- 56:11SPEAKER_02: That hospital was there for so fucking long, and then like maybe in the 90s or the early 2000s, that they built the parking structure.
- 56:21SPEAKER_02: Then they tear down the hospital and they made it something else, but now it's like NYU and they took the parking structure down.
- 56:31SPEAKER_02: Tell me that how that fucking makes any kind of sense.
- 56:34SPEAKER_02: Like, why wouldn't you have kept the parking structure, whether it was build um a hospital, a medical center, fucking apartments?
- 56:43SPEAKER_02: Why would you not have kept the parking structure that was already built and operational?
- 56:48SPEAKER_02: Because I've I've parked in there.
- 56:50SPEAKER_02: I know it was operational when there's no fucking parking anywhere over there.
- 56:56SPEAKER_00: Maybe they didn't want parking.
- 56:58SPEAKER_00: Maybe they Clearly.
- 57:00SPEAKER_00: Then like, nope, we're gonna make it hard for everyone involved.
- 57:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 57:04SPEAKER_00: All right, sorry.
- 57:06SPEAKER_00: I mean, did they build anything else later?
- 57:10SPEAKER_00: Like, is there a helip?
- 57:12SPEAKER_00: I know they took some parking spots from the area of the hospital here.
- 57:16SPEAKER_00: It was like handicapped spots.
- 57:18SPEAKER_00: I'm like, why did they take the spots?
- 57:19SPEAKER_00: And they end up building a heliport, so they needed that the no one parking it.
- 57:25SPEAKER_00: No, there's it's like that strip.
- 57:28SPEAKER_00: I mean, not a heliport per se, but maybe they needed that space for something else.
- 57:32SPEAKER_02: Oh, okay.
- 57:32SPEAKER_02: Because I was gonna say there's no way they're landing a helicopter there because it's like literally up against the beach.
- 57:37SPEAKER_02: Yeah, no, no, no.
- 57:38SPEAKER_00: It's not big but maybe if they something else.
- 57:42SPEAKER_00: They're like, uh, we need something a little bit more.
- 57:43SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I don't know.
- 57:44SPEAKER_02: Because I saw from you know, you see from the highway.
- 57:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 57:47SPEAKER_02: And I've I've only passed.
- 57:49SPEAKER_00: Let's go by and see if they mean updated.
- 57:51SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 57:51SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 57:52SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 57:52SPEAKER_00: Okay, let's go drive by.
- 57:53SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 57:53SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 57:54SPEAKER_02: I mean Yeah, I'll be ready for when you get here so we can go.
- 57:57SPEAKER_00: I mean, if Carl could be part of a drive-by, we could do our own little bunny.
- 58:01SPEAKER_02: And and so we have, but kind of.
- 58:06SPEAKER_00: Kind of sort of.
- 58:07SPEAKER_00: I won't be like call.
- 58:09SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 58:09unknown: Okay.
- 58:10SPEAKER_00: Anyway, that that's a Rio.
- 58:13SPEAKER_00: Rio's picking up his package.
- 58:14SPEAKER_00: And like, he left.
- 58:16SPEAKER_00: Like, I don't have to tell you.
- 58:17SPEAKER_00: He goes, and he took my car, and I'm gonna need money for that.
- 58:22SPEAKER_00: He I'm gonna need like additional payment.
- 58:24SPEAKER_00: He goes, additional payment.
- 58:26SPEAKER_00: You don't get payment, period.
- 58:28SPEAKER_00: She goes, but he leapt.
- 58:29SPEAKER_00: He goes, this is not you problem.
- 58:32SPEAKER_00: This isn't you don't get a participation trophy.
- 58:35SPEAKER_00: The fuck?
- 58:36SPEAKER_00: You do the job or you don't.
- 58:39SPEAKER_00: You win, bitch.
- 58:40SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 58:41SPEAKER_02: I was like, oh.
- 58:42SPEAKER_02: He was like, it don't matter if you try, you gotta win, bitch.
- 58:45SPEAKER_00: So she's like, fuck.
- 58:46SPEAKER_00: I masked out.
- 58:48SPEAKER_00: Love, oh, so Annie's getting the kids record.
- 58:51SPEAKER_00: Oh, wait, but Dean.
- 58:52SPEAKER_00: I forgot this more.
- 58:53SPEAKER_00: Dean.
- 58:54SPEAKER_00: Dean.
- 58:55SPEAKER_00: Rio, first of all, Rio's leaving at the house.
- 58:58SPEAKER_02: Because they're having this conversation in her bedroom.
- 59:00SPEAKER_00: In her bedroom.
- 59:01SPEAKER_02: But to put it in context, it's not like they walked in the house, walked upstairs.
- 59:06SPEAKER_02: Like her bedroom is clearly on the ground floor with a door to the backyard.
- 59:11SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 59:11SPEAKER_00: So they have this nice little conversation.
- 59:13SPEAKER_00: Dean is deaning, and he's asking all these questions.
- 59:18SPEAKER_00: Uh he was like, oh, he dropped off the bounce house.
- 59:24SPEAKER_00: But she lays into him.
- 59:26SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 59:27SPEAKER_00: Like, you don't have any rights to say, you have no, you don't question shit.
- 59:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 59:31SPEAKER_02: She was like, you lost that right when you stuck your penis in your secretary.
- 59:35SPEAKER_00: And he goes, but I have cancer.
- 59:38SPEAKER_02: My eyes were rolling so far back in my head.
- 59:40SPEAKER_00: I got a brain, like my brain hurt when I did that myself.
- 59:43SPEAKER_00: I was like, Dean's, not Dean's walking out.
- 59:46SPEAKER_00: Rio's walking out, and Boomer sees him.
- 59:48SPEAKER_00: He's like, hey, do I know you?
- 59:50SPEAKER_00: You look familiar.
- 59:51SPEAKER_00: No, you don't.
- 59:52SPEAKER_00: Boomer, shut up.
- 59:54SPEAKER_00: But does he look like somebody you want to bother?
- 59:58SPEAKER_00: But that's a problem with inferior boys like Boomer, who think they're important, who think that alpha male that alpha male mentality is really zeta.
- 1:00:11SPEAKER_00: They're Zetas because they really are not even on the Like you're not invincible.
- 1:00:16SPEAKER_00: That motherfucker will and break you.
- 1:00:19SPEAKER_02: Yeah, well, but their sense of entitlement leads the way.
- 1:00:25SPEAKER_00: I can't.
- 1:00:26SPEAKER_00: At least someone just needs to take him out of his misery.
- 1:00:28SPEAKER_00: Take, put, take Boomer out of my misery.
- 1:00:31SPEAKER_00: That's what I would like.
- 1:00:32SPEAKER_00: Next scene is okay, which is to be fair, Beth is upset.
- 1:00:37SPEAKER_00: Like, this is the father of her children.
- 1:00:39SPEAKER_00: And Annie's like, I got it.
- 1:00:44SPEAKER_00: I'll take care of the kids.
- 1:00:46SPEAKER_00: You know, I'll take care of it.
- 1:00:48SPEAKER_02: She's like, we do what we always do.
- 1:00:50SPEAKER_00: I'm tearing up.
- 1:00:52SPEAKER_00: I'm tearing up for the love, the sibling love, the sisterly love.
- 1:00:58SPEAKER_00: And he's getting the kids ready to school.
- 1:00:59SPEAKER_00: She's about to take the kids to school for um Beth.
- 1:01:03SPEAKER_00: And our missing gang member shows up with the with the minivan and it's all shut up.
- 1:01:12SPEAKER_00: He's like, she's like, what the fuck?
- 1:01:14SPEAKER_00: He goes, Well, I filled up a gas, which honestly I would appreciate immensely personally.
- 1:01:19SPEAKER_00: You know, I'm like, okay, in that case.
- 1:01:21SPEAKER_00: He's like, but I owe you one.
- 1:01:23SPEAKER_00: She's like, now that you say that, got something in mind.
- 1:01:27SPEAKER_00: And this is when, like, our gang member with a heart of gold who protects children being bullied, Dustin himself, as you said earlier, goes into the school, bullies the kid, breaks his thumb.
- 1:01:40SPEAKER_00: I'm here for it.
- 1:01:43SPEAKER_00: Andy's like, all for it until she sees him breaking the thumb.
- 1:01:46SPEAKER_00: And she's like, maybe too much.
- 1:01:49SPEAKER_00: But hey, just a little.
- 1:01:51SPEAKER_00: Just a little bit.
- 1:01:51SPEAKER_00: But she's still for it.
- 1:01:52SPEAKER_00: I'm here for it.
- 1:01:53SPEAKER_00: She's here for it.
- 1:01:54SPEAKER_00: You're here for it.
- 1:01:55SPEAKER_00: We're all here for it.
- 1:01:56SPEAKER_00: Sadie is here for it.
- 1:01:59SPEAKER_00: The ladies, it's time to return everything.
- 1:02:01SPEAKER_00: So the ladies are taking advantage of the return policy.
- 1:02:04SPEAKER_00: And that's when they had the dun dun dun moment.
- 1:02:08SPEAKER_00: Beth has her little light bulb moment.
- 1:02:12SPEAKER_00: And she pitches Rio the Cloud 9 cafeteria.
- 1:02:17SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 1:02:19SPEAKER_00: So they want to clean his fake cash at a big box retailer's with generous return policies, i.e.
- 1:02:25SPEAKER_00: Walmart.
- 1:02:26SPEAKER_00: Did I say that out loud?
- 1:02:27SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 1:02:28SPEAKER_00: Ruby points out that no one thinks twice about a wife buying her husband a flat screen TV or new tires for their minivan.
- 1:02:35SPEAKER_00: They'll purchase everything with the fake money and get back real money when they make their returns.
- 1:02:40SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:02:40SPEAKER_02: But she even mentions like Walmart.
- 1:02:42SPEAKER_02: So it's not like.
- 1:02:43SPEAKER_00: I don't feel too bad, right?
- 1:02:46SPEAKER_00: Rio asks, what do they want in return?
- 1:02:48SPEAKER_00: And after they tell him 20%.
- 1:02:51SPEAKER_00: He's like, anything else while we're at it?
- 1:02:53SPEAKER_00: You want healthcare?
- 1:02:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:02:54SPEAKER_00: Union breaks.
- 1:02:58SPEAKER_00: Yes, please.
- 1:03:00SPEAKER_00: I mean, I think that could work.
- 1:03:02SPEAKER_00: And Ruby's like, just for the record, I'll never smuggle anything up my ass.
- 1:03:06SPEAKER_00: Well, she said, but, but still.
- 1:03:08SPEAKER_00: And he goes, Well, I couldn't be talked into it if the compensation was appropriate.
- 1:03:13SPEAKER_00: I don't like you know what?
- 1:03:16SPEAKER_02: Same.
- 1:03:18SPEAKER_00: The meeting is over when Rio announces he has to go buy a duvet cover.
- 1:03:24SPEAKER_00: Saying, all right, we'll give it a try.
- 1:03:26SPEAKER_00: Beth goes, We're not here to try.
- 1:03:28SPEAKER_00: We're here to win, bitch.
- 1:03:30SPEAKER_02: I love their faces.
- 1:03:33SPEAKER_02: Movie is like, what the fuck do you think?
- 1:03:37SPEAKER_00: After setting up their new business deal, Beth is getting Dean set up in Kenny's room.
- 1:03:44SPEAKER_00: He's looking at brain scans on Kenny's computer when Beth comes in with some pillows.
- 1:03:49SPEAKER_00: So she let him move back in and and he could sleep in their son's room and offers to accompany him to his doctor's appointments.
- 1:03:57SPEAKER_00: Which which I would do too.
- 1:04:00SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:04:02SPEAKER_00: After the doorbell rings and Beth lease to answer, Dean turns back to the computer where he turns out he's actually Googling things like, and wait, are we surprised, Lisa?
- 1:04:11SPEAKER_00: No.
- 1:04:11SPEAKER_00: How to fake having cancer and how to verify if someone is can't has cancer or just lying.
- 1:04:19SPEAKER_00: Beth goes to answer the door, and we're thinking it's probably like a real thing going on.
- 1:04:24SPEAKER_00: But it's worse.
- 1:04:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:04:27SPEAKER_00: It's because Boomer takes a picture of Rio.
- 1:04:33SPEAKER_02: And he he sends it to the bed guy.
- 1:04:36SPEAKER_00: He's like, I got something for you.
- 1:04:38SPEAKER_00: So that is the end of Atomic Bomb.
- 1:04:42SPEAKER_00: Boom.
- 1:04:43SPEAKER_02: Adam Bomb.
- 1:04:44SPEAKER_02: Oh, because when the kids are coming in from the party and they hug Dean and they're like, Atom bomb, atom bomb.
- 1:04:54SPEAKER_02: And it was like right as he's like, I got cancer.
- 1:04:57SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 1:04:58SPEAKER_00: Not like atomic bomb because it really is a kind uh because walk the FBI agent is kind of more of an atomic bomb than anything else.
- 1:05:05SPEAKER_00: Any hot takes?
- 1:05:06SPEAKER_00: Anything you want to say?
- 1:05:07SPEAKER_00: Any thoughts on episode four?
- 1:05:10SPEAKER_00: Do we still like it?
- 1:05:11SPEAKER_00: Do you still like the show?
- 1:05:13SPEAKER_00: I do still like it, yeah.
- 1:05:14SPEAKER_00: Yay, she loves me.
- 1:05:16SPEAKER_02: I I do love you.
- 1:05:18SPEAKER_02: That was an easier question.
- 1:05:20unknown: Whew.
- 1:05:21SPEAKER_00: Was it really?
- 1:05:22SPEAKER_00: Because I was sitting on pins and needles.
- 1:05:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you know.
- 1:05:26SPEAKER_00: I never know.
- 1:05:28SPEAKER_00: I'm Magnus, so that can go either way.
- 1:05:31SPEAKER_00: Let's be real.
- 1:05:32SPEAKER_00: I know my I know my flaws.
- 1:05:34SPEAKER_02: I like, I will say, I like that every episode has given me uh like a surprise.
- 1:05:43SPEAKER_02: And so like this is what I was saying also is that while it doesn't it doesn't explicitly explain the relationship of Boomer and how like where his puzzle piece fits, it's kind of like okay, well we know he's not like a corner piece, so so to speak.
- 1:06:05SPEAKER_02: Like we may not know where he fits, but we know where he doesn't fit.
- 1:06:09SPEAKER_02: We we're start so I'm like, okay.
- 1:06:12SPEAKER_02: But it still gives the question, like, okay, so then how did Rio find them?
- 1:06:18SPEAKER_02: It was easy to explain it when it was like, oh well Boomer, you know, but unless of course Boomer talked to somebody else on behalf, but then that that still wouldn't make sense because then why go to the feds if you know you're up to no good?
- 1:06:32SPEAKER_00: So those are very good questions.
- 1:06:35SPEAKER_02: Yeah, because I could work for the fucking FBI.
- 1:06:37SPEAKER_02: No, we could be more than FBI.
- 1:06:40SPEAKER_02: We we you know what we're just gonna have to make our own three women alphabet agency.
- 1:06:46SPEAKER_00: Women only, because we get shit done.
- 1:06:49SPEAKER_02: The WIA, the women's intelligence agency.
- 1:06:55SPEAKER_00: Yes, I'm down.
- 1:06:56SPEAKER_00: Okay, let's start it.
- 1:06:57SPEAKER_00: Okay, I'm so okay.
- 1:06:59SPEAKER_00: Oh how long before we're enemies of the state?
- 1:07:02SPEAKER_00: In about 10 seconds.
- 1:07:04SPEAKER_00: Uh before.
- 1:07:06SPEAKER_03: There you go.
- 1:07:07SPEAKER_02: We didn't even get to sign off.
- 1:07:11SPEAKER_00: We the episode gets cut off before we.
- 1:07:22SPEAKER_00: Oh, good point.
- 1:07:23SPEAKER_00: So maybe we should just publish this now on like unedited, just in case.
- 1:07:28SPEAKER_02: As I'm like in the bathroom putting on makeup because I'm trying to multitask.
- 1:07:34SPEAKER_00: Next week's episode is the sound sounds funny.
- 1:07:37SPEAKER_02: It's because I'm literally in the bathroom putting on makeup because I got somewhere to go.
- 1:07:44SPEAKER_00: I love that for you.
- 1:07:46SPEAKER_00: Next week's episode is taking care of business.
- 1:07:49SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 1:07:49SPEAKER_00: And of course, the little jingle for the commercial is popping in my head.
- 1:07:51SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna try not to sing it.
- 1:07:54SPEAKER_00: Anything else?
