Speaker 1: I am Sherri Mackey, and it's time for us to
• 0:03
Speaker 1: go to God in prayer. And as always, I invite
• 0:06
Speaker 1: you to join along with me in prayer. And today,
• 0:09
Speaker 1: I just want to remind you and me that God
• 0:11
Speaker 1: will never leave or forsake us. Heavenly Father. In the
• 0:15
Speaker 1: name of Jesus, today we come before you with grateful hearts,
• 0:19
Speaker 1: holding tightly to the promise of your word that you
• 0:22
Speaker 1: never leave us nor forsake us. Lord, circumstances may change,
• 0:26
Speaker 1: people may walk away, doors may close, plans may fall apart,
• 0:30
Speaker 1: finances may become uncertain, our health may be challenged, relationships
• 0:35
Speaker 1: may become strained, we may find ourselves standing in situations
• 0:39
Speaker 1: we never expected to face. But through it all, you're
• 0:42
Speaker 1: still with us. Father, we can't see a way forward sometimes.
• 0:47
Speaker 1: Remind us that you're already there making a way. When
• 0:51
Speaker 1: we don't understand what you're doing, help us to trust
• 0:54
Speaker 1: who you are. When the situation looks bad, impossible. Remind
• 0:59
Speaker 1: us that nothing is impossible with you. Lord, there are
• 1:02
Speaker 1: people praying today who are wondering, God, where are you?
• 1:07
Speaker 1: Remind them you're right there. You are with us in
• 1:10
Speaker 1: the valley. You're with us in the storm. You're with
• 1:12
Speaker 1: us in the waiting. You're with us in the uncertainty.
• 1:15
Speaker 1: You're with us in the doctor's office. You're with us
• 1:18
Speaker 1: when the bills are due. You're with us when the
• 1:20
Speaker 1: phone doesn't ring. You're with us when relationships fall apart.
• 1:23
Speaker 1: You're with us when we're grieving. You're with us when
• 1:26
Speaker 1: we don't have the answers. Father, help us never mistake
• 1:31
Speaker 1: silence for absence. Just because we can't see you working
• 1:35
Speaker 1: doesn't mean you're not working. Lord, when we feel forgotten,
• 1:38
Speaker 1: remind us that you know our name. When we feel alone,
• 1:43
Speaker 1: remind us that your presence surrounds us. When we feel abandoned,
• 1:48
Speaker 1: remind us that you promise never to leave us. Father,
• 1:52
Speaker 1: give us peace in circumstances we can't control. Give us
• 1:55
Speaker 1: strength for today and faith for tomorrow. Help us to
• 1:58
Speaker 1: stop allowing our current situation to determine our expectation of
• 2:03
Speaker 1: our future because our circumstances are temporary, but your faithfulness
• 2:08
Speaker 1: is everlasting. Today, God, we declare God has not left us.
• 2:14
Speaker 1: God has not forgotten us. God has not abandoned us.
• 2:18
Speaker 1: God has not changed his mind about us. God is
• 2:22
Speaker 1: still working. God is still providing. God is still protecting.
• 2:25
Speaker 1: God is still healing. God is still making ways. God
• 2:29
Speaker 1: is still ordering our steps. And even when we can't
• 2:33
Speaker 1: trace his hands, we will trust his heart. Father, we
• 2:36
Speaker 1: surrender the need to understand everything. We surrender the fear
• 2:40
Speaker 1: of what tomorrow may bring. We surrender the situations that
• 2:43
Speaker 1: have caused us to doubt your presence. Help us to
• 2:47
Speaker 1: remember every time you brought us through before, every door
• 2:51
Speaker 1: you opened, every danger you kept us from, every prayer
• 2:54
Speaker 1: you've answered, every time you made a way. If you
• 2:58
Speaker 1: were faithful then, you'll be faithful now. Lord, let your
• 3:01
Speaker 1: presence become more real to us than our problems. Let
• 3:04
Speaker 1: your promises become louder than our fears. Let our faith
• 3:08
Speaker 1: become stronger than our circumstances. And when this season is over,
• 3:12
Speaker 1: let us be able to look back and say, I
• 3:14
Speaker 1: thought I was walking through it by myself, but God
• 3:17
Speaker 1: was with me every step of the way. Oh, Father,
• 3:20
Speaker 1: we may not know what tomorrow holds, but we certainly
• 3:24
Speaker 1: know who holds our tomorrow. So we will not fear.
• 3:27
Speaker 1: We will not give up. We will not lose hope.
• 3:29
Speaker 1: We will keep trusting because you promised God that you
• 3:32
Speaker 1: will never leave us. You will never forsake us in
• 3:35
Speaker 1: the mighty, faithful, unfailing name of Jesus. Amen, amen, and amen.
