- 0:14Speaker 1: Hi, guys, Welcome to another episode of Diamonds in the
- 0:17Speaker 1: Rough with John Mellencamp's daughter Teddy and.
- 0:21Speaker 2: I don't have a famous dad. My name is Erica Jane.
- 0:28Speaker 1: How are you, by the way, tired today? A little tired?
- 0:31Speaker 2: Yeah, but good.
- 0:33Speaker 1: You know, well, we have a big weekend coming up.
- 0:37Speaker 2: So excited.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Yeah, we got a big weekend coming quinn.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Okay, let's go. Season nineteen, episode nine, Emily and Gretchen
- 0:46Speaker 2: meet for a testosterone shot appointment. I got my hormones
- 0:52Speaker 2: two days ago, and it hurts sitting here, so.
- 0:55Speaker 1: You couldn't play volleyball.
- 0:57Speaker 2: No, not for a couple of days. It hurts. Emily
- 1:00Speaker 2: and Gretchen hope that Katie is gone for good. After
- 1:03Speaker 2: the party, and Emily noticed Tamra and Gretchen hugging at
- 1:07Speaker 2: the party. Gretchen tells Emily that Tamra had thanked her
- 1:11Speaker 2: forgetting the truth from Kiki, and Emily thinks Gretchen and
- 1:14Speaker 2: Tama need to talk at the beach. What do you
- 1:17Speaker 2: think I think that.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Gretchen and Tarmra talking at this point. I know, like
- 1:23Speaker 1: a couple of weeks ago, I was like, you know what,
- 1:25Speaker 1: I want them to squash the beef. But now that
- 1:27Speaker 1: I've like been more in this, like Gretchen rabbit hole.
- 1:31Speaker 1: So Gretchen blames Tamra for the reason why Slade hasn't
- 1:35Speaker 1: worked in ten years. But then, like I googled Slade.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Hold on, let me pull this up.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Yeah, she did say that he had lost work because
- 1:45Speaker 2: of the bad things that tamar had said. And if
- 1:48Speaker 2: you just google it you could see.
- 1:50Speaker 1: But I mean I googled it.
- 1:52Speaker 2: And but what did he do before he came on
- 1:56Speaker 2: the show?
- 1:57Speaker 1: I don't he was on the show. He's been on
- 1:59Speaker 1: the show multiple times. Yeah, but what was his different woman?
- 2:03Speaker 2: Okay, but okay, but what is his what is his
- 2:07Speaker 2: line of income? Like what does he do for a living?
- 2:10Speaker 1: I don't know, because his first season, the first season
- 2:13Speaker 1: of Real Housewives Orange County, I think he worked in
- 2:16Speaker 1: was it a banking office.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Or real estate or it's a real estate or something.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Something like I don't even remember. But it says Slade Smiley,
- 2:24Speaker 1: who earned his fifteen minutes of fame on a reality show,
- 2:28Speaker 1: The Real Housewives Orange County, was arrested on a warrant
- 2:31Speaker 1: on Friday. Smiley thirty eight. I mean, this is obviously
- 2:34Speaker 1: so Old was arrested by Coasta Mason Police and the
- 2:37Speaker 1: twenty four hundred block of Eldon Avenue at about three pm. Smiley,
- 2:42Speaker 1: who starred with his ex girlfriend and the Bravo show
- 2:45Speaker 1: Date My Ex Joe and Slade, was later booked in
- 2:47Speaker 1: the County jail not paying child support. Oh yeah, so,
- 2:51Speaker 1: I mean it's it's out there on the world wide web.
- 2:56Speaker 1: I don't think it had anything to do with Tamera. Well,
- 3:00Speaker 1: I'm not trying to have tamers back, but.
- 3:02Speaker 2: I think, look, I don't think you're unemployable if you
- 3:07Speaker 2: go on one of these shows. I think that going
- 3:11Speaker 2: on a show, any reality show, you're up for extra scrutiny.
- 3:16Speaker 2: And let's be honest, it's not you know.
- 3:20Speaker 1: And if you're not paying your child support, it's going
- 3:21Speaker 1: to come out publicly.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Yeah, and then that's how you get in trouble. Yeah,
- 3:26Speaker 2: so alterly adds fuel to the fire. But I don't
- 3:29Speaker 2: think it's because of the show that you know you're
- 3:32Speaker 2: not working.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Yeah then Jen and well so either way, that's the
- 3:36Speaker 1: backstory there. So it kind of for me when it
- 3:39Speaker 1: comes to Gretchen, I'm like, this is fifty old. Like
- 3:45Speaker 1: I will say, oh, it's just too old.
- 3:48Speaker 2: It's old and so old when no one cares anymore.
- 3:51Speaker 1: No one cares a slade get a new job.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Or get a job. But it's not you know, and
- 3:58Speaker 2: I'm not being shady to slay, it's just if this
- 4:01Speaker 2: is what's going on, you know, Yeah, I.
- 4:04Speaker 1: Mean, this is years and years ago, and this is
- 4:07Speaker 1: what they're holding on to.
- 4:08Speaker 2: And I'm not judging. Believe me, I have no room
- 4:10Speaker 2: to judge. But you know, you can get a job
- 4:14Speaker 2: if that's the case. We can all get to get jumps.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Because that's but in my opinion, that's why he's so
- 4:20Speaker 1: invested in this whole story.
- 4:23Speaker 2: I think he's been invested in the Housewives franchise, like
- 4:26Speaker 2: you said, with multiple women for a very long time.
- 4:29Speaker 2: And so it's not just this.
- 4:31Speaker 3: I mean even when you flashback to one of the
- 4:33Speaker 3: reunions Andy, Andy, when he's like and he's like, well,
- 4:39Speaker 3: I mean you wouldn't be coming back because Joe's not on,
- 4:43Speaker 3: and he's like, well, I mean I'm the one that
- 4:46Speaker 3: chose not to come back, and he's like no, actually
- 4:49Speaker 3: yeah no.
- 4:50Speaker 2: The men, and I've always said this, the men are
- 4:52Speaker 2: the accessory to the women. This is a show about
- 4:55Speaker 2: women and their relationships, rupture and repair and forgiveness, in
- 4:59Speaker 2: moving and friendship. Men are simply ornaments here, and that's
- 5:05Speaker 2: the way these shows are set up. Yeah, it's a
- 5:08Speaker 2: it's a girl's world.
- 5:10Speaker 1: I can't say this. Katie did admit to a lot
- 5:13Speaker 1: of things, like it was a pretty big deal that
- 5:15Speaker 1: yesterday she admitted she talked to the Bravo babe.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Okay, remember, well you're getting somewhere.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Yeah, so we got somewhere. So she admitted that I
- 5:23Speaker 1: have no idea what she what her conversation with Kiki
- 5:26Speaker 1: Monique was, But I don't I find it very shocking
- 5:31Speaker 1: that Kiki Monique, after all of these years, just found
- 5:34Speaker 1: out this story.
- 5:35Speaker 2: So you think she's known about it?
- 5:37Speaker 1: Well, I mean I've known about it, Oh you have Yeah? Oh,
- 5:42Speaker 1: I think anybody that has any sort of eyes that
- 5:47Speaker 1: can read gossip and stuff like that.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Knew about the Gretchen situation.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Yeah, knew about the Gretchen situation. Not to mention it
- 5:55Speaker 1: was on the show that Naked Wasted. Yeah, and then
- 5:58Speaker 1: it came out all over the Internet and all over
- 6:00Speaker 1: the what can we say, blogger.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Sites or Instagram moments.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Instagram stories, it's I mean.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Did you see someone gave us shit for talking about this?
- 6:10Speaker 2: You do our bloggers. I was like, I'm not a blogger.
- 6:13Speaker 1: I'm fine to be a blogger. Just call me a blogger,
- 6:15Speaker 1: but I can't type, Well, don't.
- 6:18Speaker 2: I'm actually on this show, Like I I don't know.
- 6:23Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know.
- 6:24Speaker 2: I'm certainly not going to call myself a journalist. That
- 6:27Speaker 2: gets thrown around.
- 6:29Speaker 1: That us our journalistic.
- 6:32Speaker 2: We're over here gossiping on the fucking internet.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Yeah, so whatever, whatever, whatever you want to call it.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Then Jen and Katie meet for coffee.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Katie brought receipts with her and she shows her that
- 6:44Speaker 2: remember the lie detector guy?
- 6:45Speaker 1: Ah?
- 6:47Speaker 2: Is it actually paid actors? And she thinks that it
- 6:50Speaker 2: was set up by Gina and Emily. I mean, I
- 6:52Speaker 2: don't know. I mean, you're supposed to ask the questions.
- 6:55Speaker 2: I know, when the vander Pump thing broke out, we
- 6:57Speaker 2: didn't get to ask the questions. They were prepared for her.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Yeah, we didn't ask the questions. We didn't even know
- 7:03Speaker 1: what happened or was said until after the fact.
- 7:06Speaker 2: That's right, Yeah, paid actors, like we brought this up earlier.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Looks a little like, is this guy the only guy
- 7:13Speaker 2: in town that we go to light detectors for? And
- 7:17Speaker 2: they're not a perfect science. E've been under the best
- 7:20Speaker 2: conditions with the best polygraphers ever.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Yeah, And I mean I think that whether or not
- 7:26Speaker 1: Katie is the one that told Kiki, I think Katie
- 7:31Speaker 1: did answer honestly when she said I heard the story
- 7:35Speaker 1: at dinner with Gretchen and Jen and everybody like this
- 7:38Speaker 1: and Jen is now she's driving me nuts.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Yeah, you're not liking Jen right now. And you didn't
- 7:45Speaker 2: like her the last time we sat down because you said,
- 7:47Speaker 2: why is Katie getting all the heat? Meanwhile, Jim was
- 7:50Speaker 2: there too, and.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Jen even on the after show the other day. She goes, just,
- 7:56Speaker 1: I know, I'm flip flopping around about stories, but it's
- 7:59Speaker 1: just to show that this is a repetitive action. She goes, uh, well,
- 8:05Speaker 1: I mean, who is Joe anyway? And it's like, one,
- 8:09Speaker 1: you know exactly who Joe is because you had a
- 8:12Speaker 1: problem with Joe being at Heather's party.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Two, you know who Joe is because you've talked about
- 8:19Speaker 1: her multiple times, and three and she was your engagement party.
- 8:23Speaker 2: And three you know who Joe is because you watched
- 8:25Speaker 2: the show.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Yeah, you have been a fan.
- 8:27Speaker 2: So yeah, let's not that's who Joe.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Is, So don't let's not keep that's what bugs me.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Just stop attending that you don't know anything she is.
- 8:37Speaker 1: But I told I mean, I told Katie yesterday. I'm like,
- 8:41Speaker 1: Jenna is no friend to you.
- 8:44Speaker 2: She isn't well, okay, so I don't know. I will
- 8:49Speaker 2: say this. You have to like say what you mean,
- 8:52Speaker 2: to mean what you say. It's interesting to me that
- 8:54Speaker 2: you found Katie reasonable. Yeah, but I didn't think you
- 8:58Speaker 2: were going to.
- 8:59Speaker 1: I thought that I was gonna come on. I mean, granted,
- 9:01Speaker 1: there are parts of her that.
- 9:03Speaker 2: I said reasonable, I didn't say fabulous.
- 9:05Speaker 1: Yeah, there are parts of her that she pauses when
- 9:09Speaker 1: she answers. But I think there's a lot of like
- 9:11Speaker 1: fear and anxiety she carries, and so she doesn't have
- 9:16Speaker 1: that like gumption when she comes forward and says something.
- 9:19Speaker 1: But I I didn't. I wasn't like, I was like
- 9:22Speaker 1: I could hang around this person.
- 9:24Speaker 2: I'm stunned.
- 9:26Speaker 1: I know. I think you could have too.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Don't speak for me. I can't hang around those bitches.
- 9:33Speaker 2: I was with it last night, and I get paid
- 9:37Speaker 2: to do that.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Yeah, that's true. But I feel like jenn is trying
- 9:42Speaker 1: to give this Like remember when Jessica Simpson was like, is.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Chicken out the sea? Is a fish? Are we getting
- 9:51Speaker 2: done blonde?
- 9:52Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 9:52Speaker 2: Yeah? Well, I mean this is what I don't like.
- 9:58Speaker 2: I don't like it when the husband's and I realize that,
- 10:00Speaker 2: you know, I see Katie's husband giving interviews and shit
- 10:03Speaker 2: like that, like slathe all these meant ryan to involved,
- 10:09Speaker 2: to involved. This is this is a woman's show. Let
- 10:11Speaker 2: them carry their own weight, let them have their own fights,
- 10:13Speaker 2: let them do their own thing, you know, texting me
- 10:16Speaker 2: nine to one one, like is that even a thing? Like?
- 10:20Speaker 2: What is this? Nine one one? If you call me
- 10:23Speaker 2: nine one one, you better be dead.
- 10:24Speaker 1: But the amount of times those two men talked.
- 10:27Speaker 2: Right like it they want the orange, I mean, they
- 10:31Speaker 2: want to hold the orange. At this point, they might
- 10:33Speaker 2: as well take one because and they should just yeah,
- 10:35Speaker 2: you might as well. They're doing a better job than
- 10:38Speaker 2: Sometimes the husband's slash boyfriends do better jobs than the women.
- 10:42Speaker 2: And it's clear that Slade and Katie's husband Matt.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Yeah, And I don't find it. I find it shocking
- 10:50Speaker 1: that we haven't seen a conversation between Jen and Ryan
- 10:54Speaker 1: talking about how Gretchen told them these things, because I
- 10:58Speaker 1: don't think Ryan would lie. Ryan would have been like,
- 11:00Speaker 1: well he did, they did tell us.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Maybe see now you're turning out to like Ryan. Okay,
- 11:07Speaker 2: look at that, Ryan, are you listening?
- 11:10Speaker 1: Don't as Derek would say, don't speak for.
- 11:12Speaker 2: Me right exactly, But it seems as if you would
- 11:16Speaker 2: put more weight on what Ryan said as opposed to
- 11:18Speaker 2: the other two.
- 11:19Speaker 1: And as opposed to Jen. Yeah, because I think Jenna's
- 11:22Speaker 1: just trying to navigate happy she's not there. I mean
- 11:28Speaker 1: because truthfully, if I thought that you were lying to
- 11:30Speaker 1: me and I and we were true friends, as close
- 11:34Speaker 1: to friends as they said that they were, you know,
- 11:37Speaker 1: they shared all these things about their life.
- 11:39Speaker 2: Dumb idea by the way, then wouldn't.
- 11:43Speaker 1: You say, like, have a little bit of like I
- 11:47Speaker 1: don't believe you, and I need to understand why I
- 11:51Speaker 1: don't why I don't write.
- 11:52Speaker 2: You need to explain this to me.
- 11:54Speaker 1: So I explained this to me. But I don't think
- 11:56Speaker 1: she can say that because she knows good and well
- 11:58Speaker 1: she was at that dinner. Yeah, and unless she had
- 12:01Speaker 1: earplugs in but whatever, Well.
- 12:03Speaker 2: It just feels like a whole thing too, And then
- 12:06Speaker 2: Matt was saying, they're trying to take Tamra down. What
- 12:09Speaker 2: do you all of a sudden like Tamra. Yeah, I
- 12:14Speaker 2: swear to god, it was a design to take Tamra down.
- 12:18Speaker 2: You like Tamra. I thought Tamar was the devil like
- 12:21Speaker 2: two weeks ago. It's I know, I'm just a little
- 12:26Speaker 2: it's a bad day, you know.
- 12:28Speaker 1: No, it was a bad To be honest, this episode
- 12:31Speaker 1: bugged me. Well, I mean as much as a croissant
- 12:35Speaker 1: at the beach would have bugged me.
- 12:48Speaker 2: The receipts. We know this and we know Okay, so
- 12:51Speaker 2: Katie knows that Jen her Gretchen say she went to
- 12:54Speaker 2: the hospital. Katie said she would die on that. What
- 12:57Speaker 2: did she say yesterday?
- 12:59Speaker 1: She said this same thing. She said, I told Monique
- 13:03Speaker 1: things about me, but I did not tell her that
- 13:07Speaker 1: bit of information.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Why and Katie, why are you telling Kiki Monique anything
- 13:11Speaker 2: about you?
- 13:12Speaker 1: Because she talks to people. She admitted to talking to
- 13:15Speaker 1: the Bravo babe.
- 13:16Speaker 2: This is not a good idea. Guys. Yeah, don't talk to.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Anybody, don't go to lunches, don't talk about.
- 13:21Speaker 2: Talk, don't talk about the show. You get this is
- 13:24Speaker 2: how this is.
- 13:25Speaker 1: How we get where we are right now?
- 13:27Speaker 2: Okay, Gina shows up to Matt and Britt's house. Uh.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Britt is Gina's ex husband's wife, and Gina has a
- 13:36Speaker 2: great relationship with her. And Matt had a heart attack
- 13:38Speaker 2: last week, and Gina tells Britt that she saved Matt's life,
- 13:42Speaker 2: which I find this wonderful, And I was confused for
- 13:45Speaker 2: a second. I'm not gonna lie.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Well, I thought this might be an audition for Britt
- 13:50Speaker 1: Britt to join the cast.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Well maybe, right, So who's getting the axe? Oh?
- 13:57Speaker 1: Who do you think would get the ax? No?
- 13:59Speaker 2: You know more about their shit that I I don't.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Know, but I think they need something else. They need
- 14:04Speaker 1: somebody else. So all the women are now a lot
- 14:07Speaker 1: of a lot, don't say all the women. A couple
- 14:11Speaker 1: of women have said they refuse to go back and
- 14:13Speaker 1: film if Katie is still on the show. But yet
- 14:16Speaker 1: Katie's going to be at the reunion.
- 14:18Speaker 2: Yeah, but that you have to do that.
- 14:20Speaker 1: Yeah, you have to do that.
- 14:21Speaker 2: I have to do that.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Then they're not I don't, like Gina said publicly, I'm
- 14:28Speaker 1: not going back to the show if Katie comes back.
- 14:31Speaker 2: Okay, Well, let's see's how that plays out.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Yeah, let's see how that goes for you.
- 14:36Speaker 2: Let's see how that goes.
- 14:38Speaker 1: But it is sad that Matt had a heart attack.
- 14:42Speaker 2: Yeah, what's going on. He's a young man, He's a
- 14:44Speaker 2: young man.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Well, Gina said that he needs to start taking care
- 14:47Speaker 1: of himself.
- 14:48Speaker 2: What is Brit saying?
- 14:49Speaker 1: Britt didn't really say anything like that. Britt was just
- 14:52Speaker 1: kind of there.
- 14:54Speaker 2: And being supportive. I like it that Gina's friends with
- 14:56Speaker 2: her ex husband and his new wife.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Yeah. I think it shows it's a very.
- 15:00Speaker 2: Modern way of like taking care of things and listen,
- 15:04Speaker 2: if you can move on and be peaceful, fabulous.
- 15:07Speaker 1: Yeah, great, better for the kids, It's better for everybody,
- 15:11Speaker 1: especially with how dramatic their past was. So that must
- 15:14Speaker 1: mean Birth's a pretty good person.
- 15:16Speaker 2: Rit seems like she's very understanding, to say the least.
- 15:20Speaker 1: Yeah for sure. Uh. Then Jen, Tamer, and Heather meet
- 15:24Speaker 1: up for lunch. Jen tells them that Katie thinks it
- 15:27Speaker 1: was all a setup. Jen, I wish the setup thing.
- 15:31Speaker 2: I don't like, the whole shows is set up. You're
- 15:33Speaker 2: fool part of this are You've just coming to realize
- 15:37Speaker 2: the whole fucking thing is.
- 15:40Speaker 1: This is a setup. Let me give you the.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Let me let me tell you something.
- 15:43Speaker 1: This show is set up. Jen and Tamra talked through
- 15:48Speaker 1: some of their issues. Tamar tells Jen that things don't
- 15:51Speaker 1: get deep unless you really care about someone, and Tamara
- 15:54Speaker 1: really does care about Jen.
- 15:56Speaker 2: Okay, well that's your friend.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Well, listen, I haven't talked to her about this. I
- 16:01Speaker 1: don't know that she knows that I'm about to be
- 16:03Speaker 1: going and hard for Gen thinking Jen's pretending all over
- 16:06Speaker 1: the place.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Well, that's a conversation. I can't wait to see the
- 16:09Speaker 2: two of you have you know, that's that's deep.
- 16:16Speaker 1: Jen says she wants to move forward, and then Heather
- 16:19Speaker 1: takes a selfie with Jen and Tamor in the back.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Which is hilarious because even tamer noses, I mean even
- 16:25Speaker 2: Heather noses, yeah, it's leading the best.
- 16:28Speaker 1: I mean, we love to get resolution and movement on Housewives,
- 16:31Speaker 1: but like, do we think this is that?
- 16:33Speaker 2: No? Not really, No, I.
- 16:35Speaker 1: Didn't think it. You didn't think it for a second.
- 16:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:38Speaker 1: No. Then Emily, Gina and Shannon are shopping. Emily tells
- 16:43Speaker 1: them about her call with Jen.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:46Speaker 1: Jen told her that Katie thinks, guess what a setup.
- 16:50Speaker 1: It's just I guess setup. I mean, the only part
- 16:57Speaker 1: from this scene that I was paying attention to is Emily.
- 17:02Speaker 2: The only the only part for me is Emily and
- 17:04Speaker 2: this child, and I am just I'm and I'm calling
- 17:10Speaker 2: heart goes out to her because you know, I know,
- 17:16Speaker 2: and then she's having problems with Shane and just sucks.
- 17:21Speaker 1: They're just trying to get through it, and I think
- 17:24Speaker 1: she's probably even more emotional about it than she's even
- 17:27Speaker 1: able to let on.
- 17:30Speaker 2: She's really trying to keep it together that they are
- 17:32Speaker 2: as a family, you know how it is? Yeah, I mean,
- 17:35Speaker 2: and you guys, when you do one of these shows,
- 17:38Speaker 2: and yes it's about your life, but there's you're still
- 17:41Speaker 2: trying to put your best foot forward and not fall apart.
- 17:43Speaker 2: And I know Emily's in a lot of pain, and
- 17:46Speaker 2: I just feel badly for her.
- 17:47Speaker 1: That sucks so bad, I know, And I hope they
- 17:50Speaker 1: haven't they get something.
- 17:50Speaker 2: They get some answers, me too, I hope they get
- 17:53Speaker 2: So if anybody's listening and it's got some answers, yeah,
- 17:57Speaker 2: good or good referral, Yeah, please reach to reach out
- 18:01Speaker 2: to her.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Katie and her husband Matt talk. Matt shows the amount
- 18:05Speaker 1: of calls he had with.
- 18:06Speaker 2: Slaves again, Orange Holders.
- 18:09Speaker 1: Orange Holders, Katie saying slave job for ten years is
- 18:14Speaker 1: being Gretchen's bitch. Is the energy she needs to bring
- 18:16Speaker 1: to the reunion, Like that's what we need from her.
- 18:20Speaker 2: Yeah, if that's where we're going, that's where you need
- 18:22Speaker 2: to stay. Yeah.
- 18:23Speaker 1: I mean even yesterday when she took the picture of us,
- 18:26Speaker 1: she wrote, just guys, I talked to a blogger and
- 18:29Speaker 1: it was me picture of her, Like, that's what I
- 18:32Speaker 1: want from her, Like she's got a little like, yeah,
- 18:36Speaker 1: she's got a little fire. She just needs to be
- 18:38Speaker 1: able to bring it with the other women. But I
- 18:40Speaker 1: think she Something else that she said was, you know,
- 18:43Speaker 1: she was like I was adopted. I had a lot
- 18:45Speaker 1: of feelings of wanting to be liked. I'm a people pleaser,
- 18:49Speaker 1: I you know, I want all these things. So I
- 18:51Speaker 1: think that she really is stuck. She said she cried
- 18:55Speaker 1: for weeks and weeks about her relationship with Jen.
- 19:00Speaker 2: Here. Here, here's what I don't know, Katie. But I
- 19:02Speaker 2: do understand like wanting to be liked in a group
- 19:06Speaker 2: of women. No I don't.
- 19:09Speaker 1: I was like, you what, well.
- 19:10Speaker 2: I don't, But I understand how it could feel like that,
- 19:16Speaker 2: and I do understand needing to have some sort of
- 19:21Speaker 2: friendship with someone in here, and there isn't one, and
- 19:25Speaker 2: there's not one. They've viced her out and look for
- 19:28Speaker 2: a good reason, like I'm not gonna sit over here
- 19:30Speaker 2: like I but.
- 19:31Speaker 1: No, what else I didn't really realize what? So you
- 19:34Speaker 1: know how they said that Katie sent the video to Alexis.
- 19:41Speaker 2: Yes, no, she just told her the story, same thing,
- 19:44Speaker 2: but still beat, it's still the same, still bad, it's
- 19:46Speaker 2: not the same. I mean, look, it's not not good.
- 19:49Speaker 1: It's not good.
- 19:50Speaker 2: It's not good. You don't get a pass.
- 19:51Speaker 1: You don't get a pass.
- 19:52Speaker 2: Don't do not get a pass because you shouldn't be
- 19:54Speaker 2: doing that anyway. And you know the video. You should
- 19:56Speaker 2: not be videoing anybody anyway, shouldn't be talking about that
- 19:59Speaker 2: two people. Certain things you just don't do.
- 20:01Speaker 1: But it did seem more malicious to me when I
- 20:04Speaker 1: thought she sent that video.
- 20:06Speaker 2: Yes, I thought that. Even that's even more weight on it. Yeah,
- 20:10Speaker 2: I'm glad she didn't send it, but you still don't
- 20:13Speaker 2: need to be taking the video, sending it to your husband,
- 20:15Speaker 2: or talking about it to anybody. You see the trouble
- 20:18Speaker 2: it got you in don't do it.
- 20:19Speaker 1: Yeah, that's true. Then the girls show up for Jin's
- 20:24Speaker 1: beach day, Tamra brings Joe.
- 20:26Speaker 2: Geez. Was that a setup? Was all these setups?
- 20:32Speaker 1: But like, come on, Gretchen, why do you even care
- 20:35Speaker 1: about Joe? I'm I'm gonna try to look through this.
- 20:38Speaker 1: Did Joe say anything?
- 20:40Speaker 2: I thought she was reasonable.
- 20:42Speaker 1: I don't think Joe.
- 20:43Speaker 2: Yeah, Joe was cool.
- 20:44Speaker 1: She was just the show up. She showed up, just
- 20:47Speaker 1: like the couple other gals. We didn't hear say any words.
- 20:49Speaker 2: No, it's fine, Yeah, it.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Is what it is.
- 20:53Speaker 2: What is good news Friday? Is it like good Friday
- 20:55Speaker 2: like before Easter?
- 20:56Speaker 1: No? I think they were just trying to have come
- 20:58Speaker 1: up with one of those stupid games. It's like, so
- 21:01Speaker 1: it was good News Friday. Half the girls don't play
- 21:07Speaker 1: maybe shon. I love that.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Jen's son was out there doing it. He seems to
- 21:11Speaker 2: be a really sweet kid.
- 21:12Speaker 1: No. I liked all two right, Yeah, I liked him.
- 21:15Speaker 2: Yeah, he seems sweet, and you know, he was showing
- 21:18Speaker 2: everybody how to serve and whatever.
- 21:20Speaker 1: Some of them gave it a go, some of them
- 21:22Speaker 1: didn't per usual.
- 21:24Speaker 2: You know how those group events.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Those groups of make Erica go do I know, Eric,
- 21:29Speaker 1: do everything I know?
- 21:32Speaker 2: This car around to medieval town Erica. They okay, sure
- 21:38Speaker 2: got it, of.
- 21:39Speaker 1: Course doing got it, but they all share their good news.
- 21:44Speaker 1: Heather calls, but yeah, you're right. Why did Heather call it?
- 21:47Speaker 1: It must have been Friday Friday.
- 21:50Speaker 2: It was a Friday, good news Friday.
- 21:52Speaker 1: Give me good news Friday, because today is Friday.
- 21:55Speaker 2: Well, I almost said somewhere I can't get back back.
- 22:14Speaker 1: Then we get Tamra asking Gretchen why she told her
- 22:19Speaker 1: and Shannon in the car that she did go to
- 22:21Speaker 1: the hospital, and then we get that flashback again.
- 22:24Speaker 2: I should have gone to the hospital.
- 22:29Speaker 1: I also heard that if you clench your I think
- 22:34Speaker 1: it's your butthole.
- 22:36Speaker 2: Yeah, while you're.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Taking a light detective test, you'll pass.
- 22:41Speaker 2: I was not expecting this.
- 22:45Speaker 1: I now I'm scared.
- 22:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:48Speaker 2: I think I heard that if you put like thumbtacks
- 22:51Speaker 2: in your shoes, you'll pass.
- 22:54Speaker 1: See. So it's there might be something to it.
- 22:57Speaker 2: Who knows who?
- 22:58Speaker 1: Who knows? But this is where they lose me in
- 23:01Speaker 1: this story. There's no pushback. You don't misspeak about whether
- 23:04Speaker 1: or not you've gone to.
- 23:05Speaker 2: The hospital, like you either did go or you didn't.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Yeah, so how do you misspeak? Don't try to flip
- 23:11Speaker 1: it around.
- 23:12Speaker 2: Now, yeah you can't. You can say, oh yeah I misspoke,
- 23:16Speaker 2: but did you I don't know. I just the whole
- 23:18Speaker 2: thing about it. Here's the thing. Someone lost their job
- 23:21Speaker 2: on Atlanta for saying something about drugging someone. This to me,
- 23:26Speaker 2: in my opinion, and you can fucking come for me
- 23:29Speaker 2: as much as you want. This in my opinion, is
- 23:32Speaker 2: closely in the same lane. Like you can't do this
- 23:35Speaker 2: kind of shit. It's just not okay. So you did
- 23:38Speaker 2: go to the hospital or you didn't or roofie, Like
- 23:41Speaker 2: we can't do that, like that.
- 23:42Speaker 1: Did you say roofed? Or drug? Do you know? Like
- 23:44Speaker 1: none of it matters.
- 23:45Speaker 2: But also it's also not great because you can't you
- 23:49Speaker 2: can say things like that. That's a big accusation.
- 23:52Speaker 1: That's a huge accusation.
- 23:53Speaker 2: It's a huge accusation. And then to not have like
- 23:56Speaker 2: definitive answers.
- 23:58Speaker 1: No definitive answers. I don't care that you passed a
- 24:00Speaker 1: light detector test.
- 24:02Speaker 2: Fuck the light detector test.
- 24:03Speaker 1: Yeah, like I don't care that you passed it.
- 24:05Speaker 2: I was just the whole the whole thing is for me,
- 24:09Speaker 2: Like this is not what Housewives is about drugging people like.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Will come on, I was watching somebody's Yeah your own.
- 24:22Speaker 1: But then Tamra and Gretchen go to the chairs to talk.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Gretchen Tamra go tip for tat, going through each other
- 24:28Speaker 1: and all the things that have happened. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 24:32Speaker 1: and nothing really happens.
- 24:34Speaker 2: Because it's never going to because it's not supposed to.
- 24:38Speaker 1: It's old news.
- 24:40Speaker 2: It's not good news. It's old news.
- 24:43Speaker 1: And then Tamra said she already apologized to Slade. Gretchen
- 24:46Speaker 1: wants Tamar to apologize for calling Slade a deadbeat dad.
- 24:50Speaker 2: Well, he did get arrested for non payment, so I
- 24:53Speaker 2: mean that is a fact. Yeah, so so look, is
- 24:58Speaker 2: it insult to injury? Yeah, but is it all so true? Yeah?
- 25:03Speaker 1: But she did apologize, So so if that's what you wanted,
- 25:06Speaker 1: you gotch apology.
- 25:08Speaker 2: Now. Now, let's never ever talk about it again, right
- 25:12Speaker 2: like it's dead and buried.
- 25:13Speaker 1: We're done. We're done talking about it. I mean, I
- 25:16Speaker 1: really hope we're done talking about it.
- 25:18Speaker 2: In the Okay, do you believed Tamar like when she
- 25:20Speaker 2: grabbed her hand and said how sorry she was and
- 25:23Speaker 2: that you know it affected her, you know how do
- 25:25Speaker 2: you think I think that at this point you're very
- 25:27Speaker 2: close to Tamors, So what do you think.
- 25:29Speaker 1: I think at this point, Tamor's probably sick of talking
- 25:31Speaker 1: about this too. Yeah, okay, great, I mean how could
- 25:34Speaker 1: you not.
- 25:34Speaker 2: Be Well, I'm sick of it and it doesn't even
- 25:37Speaker 2: evolve me. It has nothing to do with us, and
- 25:39Speaker 2: we're sick of talking about it, and so the audience
- 25:41Speaker 2: must be sicker.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Yeah, and the cast much must be the sickest. Yes,
- 25:46Speaker 1: Like it's just one. It's the same thing over and
- 25:49Speaker 1: over and over and over. Like, give us a break,
- 25:53Speaker 1: give us a break.
- 25:55Speaker 2: The skipping and holding hands. Uh, cheesy. Shannon doesn't think
- 26:01Speaker 2: it'll last, and I don't either, Shannon, I agree with you.
- 26:04Speaker 3: No.
- 26:05Speaker 1: Then Shannon's daughter Sophie arrives and they all share their
- 26:08Speaker 1: worst breakup stories.
- 26:10Speaker 2: To cheer Sophie up, which I thought was cute.
- 26:12Speaker 1: You did.
- 26:13Speaker 2: It wasn't bad. I mean it's kind of like, you know,
- 26:16Speaker 2: Sophie was crying and everybody's been there.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Yeah, everybody's been there. You know. Some of the stories
- 26:22Speaker 1: were good stories and made you laugh in the summer.
- 26:25Speaker 2: Yeah, depressing depressing, Yeah, wells can be depressing.
- 26:29Speaker 1: Then we get the mid season trailer, Shannon's drinking being
- 26:32Speaker 1: questioned again, Tamar meeting up with Katie and Emily telling
- 26:36Speaker 1: Gretchen it was to get info on her, and then
- 26:39Speaker 1: Gretchen sharing a salacious rumor about Tamar, Tamar shouting fuck
- 26:43Speaker 1: you and Gretchen's face, and then the Amsterdam trip where
- 26:46Speaker 1: something happens at the end for Gretchen to be upset,
- 26:49Speaker 1: and the whole group questioning things.
- 26:51Speaker 2: Do you know what this is all about?
- 26:53Speaker 1: I don't you do. No, I don't fully know because
- 26:56Speaker 1: you have to remember I was in the hospital when
- 26:58Speaker 1: all this was opening. Yeah, so I don't really know.
- 27:02Speaker 1: That's not like me.
- 27:04Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't read a laugh, but that's.
- 27:07Speaker 1: Yeah, normally I would have been on the horn.
- 27:10Speaker 2: How do you know all that?
- 27:12Speaker 1: But yeah, so I don't really know what's going on
- 27:15Speaker 1: with all this, but I feel like we've got at
- 27:20Speaker 1: least there's going to be some movement. But now I
- 27:22Speaker 1: think now I think we were Katie's out. Wow, I
- 27:26Speaker 1: think we might see one more scene of Katie and
- 27:28Speaker 1: then she's done.
- 27:29Speaker 2: Until did she leave or did they make her leave?
- 27:32Speaker 2: Was it a mutual agreement? What happened?
- 27:34Speaker 1: She wanted to stay, but there was no one willing
- 27:37Speaker 1: to film with her. I don't think. I think only
- 27:39Speaker 1: one person was willing to film with her. Okay, so
- 27:42Speaker 1: apparently what she told me yesterday was she wanted to
- 27:46Speaker 1: go on the cast trip, but production wouldn't let her
- 27:48Speaker 1: because they said it would be in her best interest
- 27:50Speaker 1: not to go.
- 27:52Speaker 2: I can read that so many different ways.
- 27:54Speaker 1: I know, I've never even heard.
- 27:55Speaker 2: I've never heard that.
- 27:56Speaker 1: I've never heard that.
- 27:57Speaker 2: Maybe you should set this one out for your own good.
- 28:01Speaker 1: Oh really, that's how it works.
- 28:03Speaker 2: I mean maybe I should have sat out something, yeah, right,
- 28:06Speaker 2: like I should have sat out two weeks ago, but
- 28:10Speaker 2: uh I didn't.
- 28:11Speaker 1: Didn't, didn't, didn't. So hopefully this kind of picks up
- 28:16Speaker 1: and it keeps it moving a little bit.
- 28:19Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, the one thing about Orange County that
- 28:22Speaker 2: I do have to say, and I know we're over
- 28:23Speaker 2: here like just being shady today, but they do really.
- 28:28Speaker 2: I mean, it's petty, it's repetitive, but somehow or another
- 28:31Speaker 2: that I'm entertained. Yeah, I know that wat it means
- 28:35Speaker 2: we're just like everybody else, That's what it means. It
- 28:38Speaker 2: means we're just like everybody else watching this shit like
- 28:41Speaker 2: you know, we bitch about it, but.
- 28:43Speaker 1: Yeah, we still watch it again, still watch it again.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Yeah. So you know, to everybody out there who's listening,
- 28:47Speaker 2: we're just like you.
- 28:48Speaker 1: Yeah, we're just like you. We're just you know, we're irritated,
- 28:50Speaker 1: but we but we love it.
- 28:52Speaker 2: We're irritated, but we love it. We're frustrated, but we
- 28:55Speaker 2: love it. I appreciate the women for putting it all
- 28:57Speaker 2: out there and entertaining us.
- 28:59Speaker 1: And I wish some of them would put a little
- 29:01Speaker 1: bit more out there, and I hope that they do.
- 29:02Speaker 1: As this season.
- 29:03Speaker 2: Progresses, we'll see what happens.
- 29:05Speaker 1: Thanks for tuning in for another episode of Diamonds in
- 29:07Speaker 1: the Rough.
