BURNING ENVY
Our meditation today has the theme: Burning Envy. In the teaching of Christian faith and morals, envy is included in the seven capital sins. Envy is in the same level with pride and anger. They are said to be the capital sins because from them come out other sins. They are like trees that have branches, fruits and leaves that all bear sins.
