Transcript
- 0:01Hello everyone, it's Michael Jacob with Unleashing Intuition Secrets.
- 0:05Joined today by Daniel Bonier Daniel Bonier security contractor like myself
- 0:09in, high risk overseas positions.
- 0:12So looking forward to having a conversation with him.
- 0:14He went to he's from Vermont, or was in Vermont at one time and went to
- 0:19this one area where he wanted to build this unbelievable range, which he
- 0:22started doing and was like, for me, it would be like a dream come true, have
- 0:27somebody build a range in my town.
- 0:28But this town turned into some kind of help out of hell against him.
- 0:33And we're gonna talk about that.
- 0:35Daniel, thanks for joining us.
- 0:37Yeah, thank you very much for having me.
- 0:38It's a true pleasure.
- 0:39I'm really trying to spread my advocacy and let the.
- 0:43People contact me from all over the country and even outside
- 0:46the United States of America.
- 0:47And shed some sympathy and condolences to the situation
- 0:52of what has manifested upon me.
- 0:56Yeah, definitely.
- 0:57And we're gonna show a little video clip here in a minute, but let, give
- 1:00us, give the folks a little background.
- 1:02Growing up I was like shooting BB guns and you're like shooting real guns as a kid.
- 1:06I'm envious of right away.
- 1:07But yeah, that's background that you had and built to this.
- 1:11You were like perfect for everything.
- 1:13So tell us a little bit about your background.
- 1:15Yeah, sure.
- 1:16So I grew up at Poughkeepsie, New York.
- 1:18Poughkeepsie, New York was a little over 50 miles north of Manhattan.
- 1:21It's actually the last stop on the MTA, which, is the major train through New
- 1:26York down into the boroughs of Manhattan.
- 1:29I grew up in an area which was mixed, a little bit of every race, every religion.
- 1:33Everybody, black, white, Jew, Gentile, was a, we were mutts,
- 1:36a little bit of everybody.
- 1:38Growing up I, I got very interested in the post Vietnam era.
- 1:43I loved the historical and historians about war and war apparatus.
- 1:48And, I got introduced to shooting very young.
- 1:50I got a, a Marlin 22 rifle really young.
- 1:54And, my, my father we had the property, so I was able to shoot.
- 1:58I was, just enamored by the rifle.
- 2:00I wanted to master the nomenclature.
- 2:03I enjoyed cleaning it.
- 2:04I enjoyed it, shooting it.
- 2:06And I wanna say I had a gift.
- 2:08I was shooting really accurate with iron sights at such a young age.
- 2:12And while all my other counterparts in the community were, maybe doing other
- 2:17things, I chose to shoot my gun, I chose to get proficient with firing a firearm.
- 2:24Beautiful.
- 2:25And yeah.
- 2:25So you moved on in life and you saw yourself going into the military.
- 2:29Tell us about how that worked out.
- 2:31Yeah, so I joined I went to college first.
- 2:33I did the reverse GI Bill.
- 2:35I joined the military and I was not successful.
- 2:37I got injured and, that injury subsequently disqualified me.
- 2:41And, it was, a lot of people make fun of me.
- 2:43But, I swallowed my pride and said, listen, I'm really good with a gun.
- 2:48I've been, working with a gun for so long.
- 2:50I worked on mastering gun ownership both from a civil and legal standpoint.
- 2:56Gun safety, storing it, gun cleaning, it wasn't just throw it in my bag or throw
- 3:02it on the back of my truck rack and go on.
- 3:04There was a lot of elements.
- 3:06Of responsibility that I really took a lot of passion for.
- 3:10I took a great deal of compassion for this Marlin 22 rifle that I had,
- 3:15and, how I wanted to be responsible and how I wanted to advocate for
- 3:20the responsible gun ownership.
- 3:21I rode a single speed biker around in my neighborhood and, met up with other, kids
- 3:26back in the seventies and eighties and, we would shoot their guns, we'd shoot my gun.
- 3:30I turned it into a popular thing, but it, I kept expounding upon it, I kept trying
- 3:35different things and hopefully at that young age, which didn't come to fruition
- 3:40doing something with a firearm, whether it be, law enforcement or military.
- 3:44But I was a visionary.
- 3:46I knew that I was good with a gun, so I wanted to do something
- 3:49in the gun world profession.
- 3:52Wow.
- 3:52That's fantastic.
- 3:53Yeah.
- 3:54So eventually it led to doing security contracting.
- 3:58Sure.
- 3:59So tell us a little bit about that.
- 4:00Yeah nine 11 happened the war on Terror came people recommended to me,
- 4:05affiliates I had in the government, affiliates I had, in, in the military,
- 4:09and all the branches were like, Hey, Daniel, this could be something for you.
- 4:12Long story short I tried out for a position.
- 4:15I got on that team.
- 4:16It's an interesting story.
- 4:17I could share it with you if you wanted me to, but I got
- 4:20on a private security detail.
- 4:21I started working for a private military contractor, that was
- 4:25doing all, US work and the birth of behind a gun professionally
- 4:30and making money started for me.
- 4:33Yeah, I, now, I can tell you, I did combat action when I was in Seal Team
- 4:37six, and I was living the dream myself, but eventually after that world I went
- 4:43into security contracting with Blackboard and was on the Ambassador Bremmer detail.
- 4:48It, one of the head guys, running, run the security details and so forth.
- 4:52I know you talk about how the security guys overseas really made an impact
- 4:57because the military could not, again, involved in the ways that we could.
- 5:01In fact, I remember some of the military coming up to us and saying,
- 5:04Hey, can you take these bad guys out?
- 5:06Because we can't do it.
- 5:07I was like, wow.
- 5:08There was a lot of that in that time, and it was, we made a major
- 5:12impact during that timeframe.
- 5:15So you'll know better than me.
- 5:16I've quoted Eric Prince on many occasions, not only in.
- 5:20Professional demeanor, but also, scholastically and academically,
- 5:24through, any type of teachings I've done.
- 5:26In 2005, the world of gunfighter and gun fighting, I don't wanna reference
- 5:31explicitly black water, but, all of them, triple canopy, the list goes on.
- 5:35The hyper focus got really magnified on these folks.
- 5:39And I think what the precipice to this was some things that, you know
- 5:44different generals in the military different admirals and different people
- 5:48were coming forward and saying, listen, the private security contractor can
- 5:51get things done that we can't do.
- 5:53The private security contractor can go behind immunity and impunity and
- 5:58produce results that either a, the modern military cannot do, or, act attache
- 6:03to the government that still have.
- 6:06Certain ROIs ROEs, with different government affiliates.
- 6:11So the private security
- 6:16contract.
- 6:29Hello?
- 6:30Yeah, you got a little, you got a little, we kinda lost you there for
- 6:33a little bit, but yeah, you were making some really good points.
- 6:35Very articulate, articulated.
- 6:37You want to go back to where you're talking about the rules of engagement,
- 6:41so forth, and go from there.
- 6:43Yeah different folks within the military campaigns.
- 6:46In the Middle East, we're looking at, the rules of engagement and identifying,
- 6:51Hey, listen, the modern military, it doesn't make a difference if it's
- 6:54a Marine, an army Navy, air Force, whoever, they may not be able to do
- 6:58X, Y, Z, where a contractor could do it and have less accountability.
- 7:04Those positions morphed into the billions and trillions of dollars that,
- 7:09gov the government was allocating to private security contracting firms.
- 7:14Absolutely.
- 7:15Yeah.
- 7:15And having been in that business for almost 11 years working for
- 7:19Blackboard, that eventually going into direct hire from C for the CIA I
- 7:23can tell you that we absolutely made a massive difference and still do.
- 7:27I'm sure there's a lot of guys out there still doing contract work.
- 7:30So you having been in that 'cause it pays well.
- 7:34You were smart, you saved your money up and you decided you were gonna
- 7:37do something that everyone in the security contracting realm dreams
- 7:41of, and that's create a range.
- 7:44And and it's highly valuable, highly desirable that those ranges.
- 7:49Like you talk, I've heard you talk in other shows.
- 7:51We have multiple ones all around the country.
- 7:53We don't at this point.
- 7:55And I think that's something that we're gonna regret.
- 7:58I think we're gonna start to have some real problems here in the United States,
- 8:01and we really need people trained up.
- 8:02So you were bringing.
- 8:04In a great ways and it got hijacked.
- 8:08Tell us a little bit about how you got you picked out your plot of land, and
- 8:12then I'm gonna show a little bit of video.
- 8:14Yeah.
- 8:14So I picked out this piece of property, which, a lot of people reference
- 8:17aerials or satellite pictures.
- 8:19And when you look at it, it's in the middle of nowhere.
- 8:22I'm butted up against, I'm backed up to the largest slate quarry
- 8:25in the country, if not the world.
- 8:28And my topography changes of 160 feet in elevation.
- 8:32So I made these berms in these shooting ranges so that unequivocably,
- 8:38if you discharge around on my land, it stays encapsulated in my land.
- 8:43That is a non arguable.
- 8:45The, just the design, the topography of my land.
- 8:49Unequivocably.
- 8:51Had zero probability of a bullet going off my pro property.
- 8:56Not to mention I had a, a United States Army declassified range
- 9:00building manual that I built, very specifically to mitigate.
- 9:04Okay, if we do long range, can I insure around?
- 9:08Won't go, into a five mile, radius.
- 9:11No, I, I mean I put every facet of protecting the shooter on my land
- 9:16was implemented and that, and I still think to this day, now that
- 9:19everything is destroyed and leveled.
- 9:21No one argued that, Hey, listen, come to Slate Ridge in Vermont and,
- 9:25hone in on your skills, but if you make a mistake, you're good to go.
- 9:29Your mistake, we can grow from it, we can learn from it, we can seek to
- 9:32understand, but the liability part of that was, is let's work the problem out.
- 9:39With the, there's zero ambiguity that, that bullet's going anywhere,
- 9:42but on Daniel Barney's property.
- 9:43Does that make sense?
- 9:45Oh, absolutely.
- 9:46And I heard some of the specifications that you utilized and you made sure
- 9:50the land was not gonna be soiled.
- 9:53It was be good for 50 to a hundred years later.
- 9:55Yeah.
- 9:55You were doing way beyond what a lot of ranges.
- 9:58I've, I've been to ranges all over the country.
- 10:00And Sure, of course, on military basis.
- 10:02It sounds like you really went to way beyond, anything I've ever encountered,
- 10:07I've been to, John Haw huge academy.
- 10:08I did probably about a dozen times.
- 10:12I took, platoons there.
- 10:13I was of training at a couple different seal teams.
- 10:17And there was a tease breaching academy that was right there in Memphis.
- 10:21So it was like, it was perfect.
- 10:23And I know I, I heard you talking about you did reaching
- 10:26at your own place as well.
- 10:27So Wow, you just had everything.
- 10:31Let me show this one video that gives us a little bit more insight of what happened.
- 10:36Very tragic, the things that happened to you, and this is something I
- 10:38think everyone in America needs to look at and be aware of.
- 10:44You don't get it, you guys don't get it.
- 10:47I'm 55 years old.
- 10:48I everything,
- 10:51this town has taken away everything for any personally reflecting that.
- 10:58I
- 10:59knew I was gonna have some pushback from the anti-gun world.
- 11:01That's just inevitable, right?
- 11:03Some environmental person, some anti-gun
- 11:05person, is going to mutter some rhetoric that is, is conducive to your ideology.
- 11:10That's
- 11:11just anywhere we go.
- 11:12This is the world we're living in.
- 11:13I, I understood that and I accepted that.
- 11:16I never imagined
- 11:18what is happening to me.
- 11:19Now.
- 11:20In 2013, Daniel Bonnet bought a 30 acre parcel that backs up to the largest
- 11:25slate quarry in the world where blasting is daily and seemingly all the time.
- 11:33He wanted to build a shooting range in a small school to teach what he
- 11:35had learned as a private security detail for some big clients.
- 11:38Back in the day,
- 11:39I came up with this idea, I said, I'm gonna, I'm gonna find some property, build
- 11:43a place that is specifically for people.
- 11:47They use a gun in their profession.
- 11:49So I walked the property, I took a look at everything and I'm like, wow, this is it?
- 11:54This is the place, all, everything looked fair.
- 11:59Wow.
- 11:59What a what?
- 12:00A what a mistake.
- 12:01What a mistake.
- 12:03Yeah.
- 12:08Intimidated.
- 12:09I'm not intimidated by your fat ass either.
- 12:16Good.
- 12:16Yeah, you too.
- 12:19I'll keep an eye out for you, Jeff, please.
- 12:21The town is another character in this and.
- 12:24Like a lot of small towns, there is nepotism, conflict of interest.
- 12:29Daniel, however, is the first to fight it.
- 12:32Just outta principle,
- 12:33three minutes or not.
- 12:34I'm a
- 12:35taxpayer.
- 12:35No, I can speak I people
- 12:37down all the time.
- 12:38No three minutes.
- 12:38No.
- 12:39It's not the case.
- 12:39But Ms. Van Ward, you decide to go, no, don't put your hands.
- 12:42Three minutes.
- 12:43Hour for three minutes.
- 12:45It's not every year.
- 12:46It's not every year.
- 12:47It's because Daniel is here.
- 12:49The three minutes are not.
- 12:51They control the media.
- 12:53They control my constitutional rights.
- 12:55They control the verdict
- 12:58and they decide the judge granted that no one can be on my property
- 13:01except me and Robert Kaplan.
- 13:03And a court order she filed at eight 30 this morning.
- 13:08Can you imagine your constitutional rights being taken away by
- 13:12people that don't like you?
- 13:13Now, the government wants to jail him for contempt and non-compliance.
- 13:18For what he deems unlawful weaponization of local government
- 13:22against him and others.
- 13:23Right now, this man is a criminal.
- 13:28Hey, miss Piggy, are you filming too,
- 13:33Mr. Davis?
- 13:33Why don't you get the fuck Outta
- 13:35the property is in Paulette, Vermont, a small town of roughly 600 or
- 13:39so folks, and they seem to have a pattern of chasing people out.
- 13:45Despite Parrot media claiming Daniel never had a permit, he did indeed have a permit.
- 13:52He was issued by the town and later revoked by the judge two
- 13:56years after we built the school.
- 14:00And it's not just Daniel's rights, it's happening everywhere, all at once.
- 14:04A soft coup with the weapons of Lawfare delicately wrapped in the candy coated
- 14:08language of convenience, safety, and for the greater good, this two-tiered system.
- 14:14Feudalism is now on full display.
- 14:18It's become like a white noise, a background constant.
- 14:21We tune out.
- 14:22But every now and then there's someone who stands up and
- 14:25says, no signal in the noise.
- 14:33Alright, Daniel fantastic job of standing up to the, what's happening in my video.
- 14:39There it goes.
- 14:40Fantastic job of standing up to this corruption.
- 14:43We've seen this all the way to the top and all the way down
- 14:46to you against President Trump.
- 14:48It seems like the whole system is rigged against those of us that
- 14:52are patriots and trying to have a positive impact on our community.
- 14:56What are your thoughts?
- 14:58Yeah I agree.
- 14:59And I feel that, the more people behave like a sheep.
- 15:03The more vulnerable society will become, I know the demographics of all
- 15:07of these issues happening throughout the country and throughout the world.
- 15:10And, while I'm not privy to every facet of every single issue I can say that from,
- 15:15the experiment phase of how this town tried to eradicate me and my rights all
- 15:19the way through the process until now, the, this, they have been successful.
- 15:25That, that level of success has been predicated on the
- 15:28fact that people are weak.
- 15:29People don't wanna stand up.
- 15:31People don't want to get behind it, and they're just like, listen that sucks.
- 15:36But the aftermath of this as whether you're a Republican, you're a Democrat,
- 15:41you're a socialist, you're a libertarian.
- 15:43Is that the model right now?
- 15:45And the precedent in twofold for me is that if you get a valid
- 15:49building permit in this state like I did, and you piss someone off.
- 15:53They'll remove your building permit and do what they did to me.
- 15:56To you.
- 15:57If you possess a passion like I do for shooting the state, PA passed a law
- 16:03in my name against shooting together.
- 16:05I'm not gonna bore you with this, the semantics and specifics of it,
- 16:08they will go to every effort to make sure that you are muzzled and
- 16:13you're sidelined, irrelevant to your constitutional rights of civil liberties.
- 16:19Wow, that's crazy.
- 16:21I've had another gentleman on Kevin Hoyt and he talked about you quite,
- 16:25quite a while ago, and he was hopeful that we would do a show together.
- 16:28So here we are Kevin man on the run.
- 16:32All right.
- 16:33In hiding pretty much because of this corrupt Vermont governmental system.
- 16:37And you probably one of the greatest patriots in America most wanted, man.
- 16:43It's it's incredible.
- 16:44Sure.
- 16:45Listen, Kevin has an advocacy that I respect.
- 16:48There needs to be more people like him.
- 16:50There needs to be more people like me.
- 16:52When you have a movement or a situation that necessitates an audience,
- 16:58it necessitates participation.
- 17:00People need to wake up.
- 17:02People need to be like, listen.
- 17:04Let me look at this.
- 17:06Let me dissect this.
- 17:07Let me do the applicable research and get behind it.
- 17:11I have a new saying.
- 17:12Now.
- 17:13Are you focused on my character or are you focused on my cause?
- 17:17Because if you're focused on my character, you're not focused on the right thing.
- 17:22Who gives a shit of who I am?
- 17:23The issue is right now is that I'm representing a systemic issue
- 17:28of the state, the government, et cetera, violating my rights and
- 17:33in, in participation in secret manifestos or premeditating.
- 17:37Violating your rights.
- 17:40Yeah, you've exposed how this town has incredible problems all the way up
- 17:46to the people that are enforcing some of the laws against you are felons.
- 17:50It shouldn't even be carrying a gun.
- 17:51Shouldn't even be carrying guns.
- 17:54We're talking pedophilia bestiality un unbelievable things are happening.
- 17:59And, KU Klux Klan members, wow, what the heck is going on in that town?
- 18:05But sir, it doesn't phase these folks here.
- 18:08It it doesn't phase these folks here.
- 18:09When I have brought attention to these issues, it's almost like it's a textbook
- 18:15answer from corporate America of how to mitigate, or dynamically soothe your
- 18:20soul with an answer that, that is endless amounts of ambiguity and lack of clarity.
- 18:25I'm I suffer right to this moment.
- 18:27How can we have pedophiles on the board?
- 18:30How can we have prosecutors that have, risked the authenticity of law?
- 18:35This Jared Bianchi that in the picture, that's the woman's
- 18:38husband Merrill Bent Bianchi.
- 18:40How can we have a cop that has had 1, 2, 3, 4 arrests and convictions of DWIA
- 18:47burglary charge as a police officer?
- 18:51Restraining order with relinquishment of your firearm, a chief that's
- 18:56given alcohol to a female.
- 18:57Like it's just, it, and then, just last year we have another
- 19:01level of law enforcement.
- 19:03The guys stepson went and killed the select board member and had
- 19:07oral anal and vaginal intercourse with the mother killed the children.
- 19:11And all of this stuff is okay in this community.
- 19:14You just can't make this stuff up.
- 19:17Yeah.
- 19:17Like we were talking before, we just need to drive a bus in there arrest
- 19:20all these people and restart that town.
- 19:23Wow.
- 19:25Yeah.
- 19:26Like here, this is Chief Bill Humphreys, we you ask the average citizen around
- 19:30here, they're scared to death of the guy.
- 19:31I'm not afraid of this guy.
- 19:33I'm calling him out.
- 19:34But they don't care.
- 19:36They're not concerned or it's, what they say is, I don't have a daughter.
- 19:40My daughter's of age now, or if I have a daughter, we educate
- 19:44her to stay away from him.
- 19:46That's not normal.
- 19:47That's, listen, that's not how I grew up.
- 19:50Most of the people that I know and encounter on a daily basis,
- 19:53that's not their ideological views of law enforcement.
- 19:57That's what I'm preaching is extra eccentric and is abnormal and people need
- 20:03to get on the bus and be participatory in eradicating this, changing
- 20:08this, holding people accountable.
- 20:10Listen, there's other people that can hold this guy's position.
- 20:13Let's get that person in.
- 20:14Yeah.
- 20:14Not someone with two convictions.
- 20:18Yeah.
- 20:18Unbelievable.
- 20:20This is Thomas Covino, the officer that I had a problem with.
- 20:23There, there is credibility issues.
- 20:25Of law enforcement.
- 20:26He has said that he's completed a police academy.
- 20:29Kevin, Mr. Kevin Hoy exposed that, that police academy went on
- 20:33the record and said, no, we did not give him the authenticity or
- 20:38the certificate of completion.
- 20:40But he's buddies with the other cop to bill Humphreys, multiple arrests,
- 20:45multiple convictions, multiple problems in run-ins with the law.
- 20:50But look at 'em there.
- 20:51Pomp is an arrogant, I'm a police officer.
- 20:53You gotta do what I say and, is modeling the polar opposite of what the Department
- 20:59of Justice and or any other law enforcement entity in the country wants.
- 21:04That is not what is acceptable.
- 21:07I completely and totally agree.
- 21:09Now, both of us have been around exceptional police officer.
- 21:13I know in your shooting academy I'm sure you had many of them.
- 21:16I don't know, probably military Tell.
- 21:18Tell us a little bit about, what type of people came through your shooting academy.
- 21:22Sure.
- 21:22So we we have, we had originally opened up our doors for the federal government,
- 21:26all branches, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, United States Marshal,
- 21:31department of Homeless, you name them.
- 21:32State and local law enforcement.
- 21:34And, because I had my federal firearms license with an NFA, if, let's just
- 21:40say hypothetically a law enforcement organization in Southern Jersey or
- 21:43somewhere farther away wanted to come in, they could ship their guns into
- 21:47me, I could bring them in acquisition, with a chief law enforcement officer.
- 21:51I could then disposition them back out when they got here.
- 21:54So their travels were more eloquent instead of having to worry, they
- 21:59would come, they could train, on range one, which had, shooting facade.
- 22:03They could train on range two, which are explosives.
- 22:07I had a federal explosive license.
- 22:09If they had an SRT team or a SWAT team.
- 22:12Same thing with military and other, at Attache is affiliated with the government.
- 22:17If they wanted to do breaching, if they wanted to do ordinance, disposable,
- 22:21whatever, we were, we were all inclusive.
- 22:25We welcomed everyone.
- 22:26We had an FAA heliport.
- 22:28So if you wanted to come in a more clandestine manner and
- 22:31be really protected, you could come in on rotary wing aircraft.
- 22:36We were approved up to 150 155 foot wingspan.
- 22:40We presented a position where, listen, while I don't know
- 22:48everything, I do know this.
- 22:50I know how to get dead quick and I know how to stay alive.
- 22:53If you come here and let me teach you a couple things or let me
- 22:57model a couple of ideas to you, I'm not trying to reinvent the wheel.
- 23:00I would tell sergeants, captains, chiefs, whatever.
- 23:04Listen, come.
- 23:06Let me just show you a couple.
- 23:08Yeah.
- 23:09Things you can say, fuck you, it's garbage.
- 23:12Or one of your office.
- 23:13That's the great, mindset and that's what Slate Ridge encompassed, right?
- 23:18That's, that was my motive, that was my zeal to help people stay alive.
- 23:23The preservation of human life.
- 23:25Absolutely.
- 23:29Absolutely.
- 23:30This is Jared Bianchi, right?
- 23:32This is this, he's a scumbag.
- 23:33I'm sorry.
- 23:34People are always saying, be conscientious, be politically cracked.
- 23:37Look it, this is a guy that just crossed a murder case and a, in a very violent
- 23:42pedophile, sexual assault case, just botched the case because him and,
- 23:46his superior photoshopped evidence, the judge in the case caught it.
- 23:51Zero sanctions on him.
- 23:53Then in another case, he manufac.
- 23:56Lectured evidence.
- 23:57Luckily the judge caught it.
- 23:58Zero sanctions on him.
- 24:00This is an attorney prosecuting at the state level, the highest
- 24:05level of law enforcement.
- 24:07We should be looking up to these people.
- 24:10Yeah.
- 24:12That's unbelievable that you have that lineup of people and they seem like
- 24:15all of 'em are aligned against you.
- 24:17Now some people can say Daniel Bonnet, that's he's just one
- 24:22guy, maybe he stepped outta line.
- 24:23They didn't like him, so they took him out.
- 24:25But no that's everyone.
- 24:27You represent everyone in America.
- 24:29And this can happen to everyone in America.
- 24:32And it has happened to our president, what your, what are your thoughts
- 24:35on why after teaching all these guys in these positions, why didn't some
- 24:41of them step in and help you out?
- 24:44I'm gonna tell you right off the bat, the Merrill Bent Bianchi, her law
- 24:48partner Rob Wilmington, is the executor at the largest, it's called VT Digger.
- 24:54They're the largest media publication here in the state of Vermont.
- 24:57They've mastered online imprint and radio.
- 25:01So they started a campaign very callously like they were very
- 25:06smart, they knew battling the Second Amendment would be an issue.
- 25:10So what they did is they went on a smear campaign.
- 25:13The original onset of this, lawsuit this issue was on the fact that they said
- 25:20I didn't have a valid building permit.
- 25:22We suffered the derogatory and inflammatory accusation that I
- 25:26lied to the general public, which if anyone paid attention inside
- 25:30the school, you know, all of our licenses explosively, every license.
- 25:34Was there, the building permit was there.
- 25:36People just didn't look at it.
- 25:38So the onset was to all these agencies and organizations that came, they were
- 25:42like, oh man, like you did that to us.
- 25:45And how do you backpedal outta that?
- 25:47They hear what mainstream media's telling them.
- 25:50They hear, in print, they hear on the radio station.
- 25:53So at that point, my credibility was shot.
- 25:56Like they literally, everyone turned their back on me.
- 26:01Wow.
- 26:02Yeah.
- 26:02And Kevin Hoyt talk about that as well.
- 26:04The the corruption the media.
- 26:06We've seen the corruption and the media basically w works hand in hand with
- 26:10this this crazy deep state government now, Vermont digger he di him out
- 26:15in a lot of different occasions.
- 26:18So here's a article.
- 26:19Windsor County Sheriff charge was soliciting prostitution
- 26:23other sex crimes Sheriff.
- 26:26Ryan Palmer is facing 12 criminal charges.
- 26:29After state troopers received tips about his alleged sexual misconduct when
- 26:33investigating his office's finances.
- 26:36Wow.
- 26:38Yeah, the, these, listen, back the blue, I just put up on my social medias some
- 26:43campaigns about, the thin blue line and, I'm sure as a ct SEAL team six
- 26:49member, you had a certain loyalty, you had a certain commitment both morally,
- 26:54spiritually, with your team members.
- 26:56I had that with the men that I worked with.
- 26:58It's no different than these police officers.
- 27:00It's just that when their level of accountability is called
- 27:03upon they brother up, they, they collaborate and come together and
- 27:09immediately and instantaneously the nefarious, actions begin because
- 27:15they wanna protect one another.
- 27:17So he was arrested, and tu on Tuesday it says, for a slew of sex crimes.
- 27:21I guess he's still out there doing his thing, right?
- 27:26Yeah.
- 27:27My, my lawyers in my criminal case just argued the tail end of last year.
- 27:31We had a police officer in the next community up from me.
- 27:34He was driving his Ford, SUV he was watching a YouTube video and he hit a
- 27:38bicyclist and he killed that person.
- 27:41The guy perished and, he went to he to avoid a trial.
- 27:45They let him off with two years probation and he still was
- 27:49allowed to be a police officer.
- 27:51Good
- 27:51job.
- 27:51And the outcry from the community only came to get him terminated.
- 27:56Other than accountability.
- 27:57Now if you or I hit someone, it could be murder one, murder two, it could be
- 28:02manslaughter, it could be, whatever.
- 28:04But we wouldn't get two years probation.
- 28:08God, no.
- 28:09And frustration mounts in Rutland override in only election for mayor.
- 28:14Like you talked about, nepotism favoritism and corruption.
- 28:18So it's deeply embedded, obviously, and they keep it going
- 28:22a hundred percent.
- 28:22And, while I came from New York, and I'm proud to say that, I fear no one
- 28:26people wanna call me out all the time.
- 28:28But, I'm a New Yorker through and through none of this, if I'd ask my counterparts
- 28:32or other constituents in the state of New York, Hey, listen, what would you do if
- 28:36you found a pedophile in your town board?
- 28:38They'd be like, ha, one meeting in the back.
- 28:41You know what I mean, Michael, these irregularities are
- 28:44accepted and the accept.
- 29:07Daniel it, you we're, yeah, we're lose we're losing you a little bit there.
- 29:11They,
- 29:12okay.
- 29:12These irregularities go back to that point.
- 29:16Yeah.
- 29:16These, the, these beha irregularities are the new normal, what you're bringing up,
- 29:22what you're soliciting is the new normal.
- 29:25And it's unfortunate that society is allowing that to be the case.
- 29:30Yeah, absolutely.
- 29:32Now let's go from where you first came into, you bought the land
- 29:38and you're surveying the land.
- 29:40You're looking at it, you're like I'm gonna put a range here, put a range there.
- 29:43And you started to see what looked like people coming onto your property.
- 29:50Yeah.
- 29:50Yeah.
- 29:51My driveway's over a quarter mile long it's essentially a road, I
- 29:55saw some foot track tracks and tire marks, you have a certain element
- 30:00of safety and sophistication.
- 30:02So do I. So it wasn't difficult to see that, people were egressing
- 30:06onto the property unannounced and unwelcomed n not known to them.
- 30:13I already had the mindset, I'm gonna put a range or live fire range shooting 24
- 30:19hours a day, possibly seven days a week.
- 30:20So I gotta mitigate this, right?
- 30:22I gotta, in, in the process of putting this gate up, the, these
- 30:25two Hewlett, they're scumbags that the father and his son, they came
- 30:28to confront me and was like, Hey, listen, but, that's their entitlement.
- 30:32That's, they're exuding their, Hey, we're the good old boys.
- 30:35You gotta do what we tell you to do.
- 30:37I'm not that guy, you know what I'm saying?
- 30:39I'm literally working pores overseas and doing stuff while these guys
- 30:42are trying to tell me what to do.
- 30:45It, it didn't work out.
- 30:46So they ended up tearing my gait down.
- 30:49And, that, that was the onset of the problems, they, my name
- 30:53got in their purview, this New Yorker guy, the situation.
- 30:57The inquisitive, the inquisitiveness of me and what I'm gonna be doing
- 31:01there really started this situation.
- 31:03And they're the pioneers of the problem.
- 31:05The old man's dead now.
- 31:06But the son is the guy in the video that got in my face saying,
- 31:09he's gonna be waiting for me.
- 31:10He is gonna be watching me.
- 31:11And, karma got him, he he put his arm in a chip or chopped his arm completely
- 31:16off and, he boohoo cried to everyone.
- 31:20I'm always thinking about the annual bonder and the stress of him being
- 31:23in the CUNY chopped his arm off.
- 31:26Wow.
- 31:27That's incredible.
- 31:28Yeah.
- 31:28Karma's like a bitch sometimes.
- 31:30Yeah.
- 31:30And I love it.
- 31:33Yeah.
- 31:34Yeah.
- 31:34And then a year later, literally a year later, his wife is on a YouTube video.
- 31:39She goes into the birthing station of their cows, and a cow beats the
- 31:44crap out of her, breaks her the same side of the arm as the guy, and the
- 31:47whole arm is built outta titanium.
- 31:51Oh God.
- 31:52So karma's a bitch.
- 31:54Yeah.
- 31:54Yeah.
- 31:55I think somebody's protecting you, Daniel.
- 31:57That's good.
- 31:57That's, I wanna be on your side.
- 31:59Yeah.
- 31:59Yeah, so they did, yeah, kinda like doing some of this stuff myself.
- 32:04I did a survival and a awareness camp and it was in the Pine Barrens
- 32:09and I got a lot of pushback there.
- 32:10'cause it was like in country bow country bunk place.
- 32:13And so we moved to so I'm familiar with Pattern where they feel like they
- 32:18own everything, but they don't and they come in and they read and do all
- 32:22kind of crazy stuff and mess with you.
- 32:24I went to the pine bearings of Pennsylvania.
- 32:27Or not the pine bears, but the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania.
- 32:30Yeah.
- 32:30And I got some of the same stuff.
- 32:31These little Podunk towns sometimes have some real crazy people.
- 32:36I grew up in Columbia, South Carolina.
- 32:38You would think that's where you're gonna have the, problem areas.
- 32:41But it was never a problem when I was growing up, I played with
- 32:44black kids and they played with me.
- 32:46I drove a,
- 32:47yeah,
- 32:47I wrote school on a all black bus.
- 32:50It was, I was the only white guy on there.
- 32:52So the black students, voted me as the, the king of the class one time.
- 32:56And it's like all the other white kids were like, pissed because I was like,
- 32:59a favorite of the black community.
- 33:01I was like, what?
- 33:01It's so you see, some communities have this back and forth that goes on.
- 33:05I'm like you I just, I like everybody, I get along with everybody and I
- 33:10don't, judge anyone, but it sounds like some of these small towns.
- 33:14Like this one.
- 33:15They're outta line and it's like you talked about, they came one time
- 33:19after they started harassing you with a k, K outfit on think either
- 33:24they're gonna intimidate you or get to play on their side or whatever.
- 33:27Wow.
- 33:28You would think like you thought at the time that just that
- 33:31alone would get them in trouble.
- 33:33But the local police were like, on their side.
- 33:35Wow.
- 33:37It's extra eccentric.
- 33:38My lawyers would tell me all the time, they're like, listen, the
- 33:401% of the pedigree we know about you, we know not to fuck with you.
- 33:44We're not gonna bother you.
- 33:45Yeah.
- 33:46Why isn't this disseminated Now I'm gonna turn a light on to make it
- 33:49a little bit better here for us.
- 33:50Yeah.
- 33:50Thank you.
- 33:51Yeah.
- 33:51One that's not interfering with you.
- 33:53Okay.
- 33:53No, that's perfect there.
- 33:53One of the things that backfired on mean, I want to tell, 'cause
- 33:56I haven't really solicited this story, when I got my license.
- 34:03Through the federal government, the F-F-F-L-S-O-T-I got a destruction
- 34:06device, a member of the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco on firearms and a
- 34:12field agent from the Federal Bureau of Investigation Community Office.
- 34:14And unfortunately, as the story's told, the people that they wanted
- 34:19to say, Hey, listen, here's this guy, we vetted him, right?
- 34:23He has the training, the bonding, the he fits every qualification
- 34:28for us to give this to him.
- 34:29But we just wanted to add another level of sophisticated approval.
- 34:37We just wanted to come and verbally tell you.
- 34:40So the people or the person that wasn't available to take this message from
- 34:45them took a message, but the message was like, Hey, listen, contact the
- 34:50FBI, contact the atf, see that message?
- 34:53And they lost their mind.
- 34:54But when in review, when you look at the reports, they were there advocating
- 35:00for my existence, saying, listen, while you can't see, you might vaguely be
- 35:04able to hear this is the guy that's up there we're telling you that the
- 35:09federal government said it's okay.
- 35:11And the town mis skewed that as something negative.
- 35:17Yeah.
- 35:18Wow.
- 35:19So on those other properties that I was on the locals like to come on and yep.
- 35:24Illegally cut down trees and stuff like that.
- 35:26It's I'm like, whatever, it's not my land.
- 35:28You guys are like.
- 35:29Doing what you want, but they're it seemed like that's, they feel like
- 35:33that's their right to do illegal stuff.
- 35:35They have that in their mind, they can do illegal and they wanna lean on you to see
- 35:39if you're gonna tell on 'em or whatever.
- 35:42Were they ever trying to do that with you?
- 35:44Trying to like, maybe scalp some stuff off your land or what the heck
- 35:47were they coming on your land for?
- 36:00Oh, Mr. Or those, reflective pins, they were trying to do
- 36:04things to get on the land.
- 36:06They were attempting to, violate, the no trespassing the general, Hey,
- 36:11listen, this is a live firing range.
- 36:13It's not a threat that you could get shot.
- 36:15It's a reality.
- 36:16Yeah.
- 36:16If.
- 36:17At midnight, everybody's putting their nods on and we're going through, a
- 36:20training evolution, a breaching or land, room clearing or something, and you're
- 36:25in the wrong place at the wrong time.
- 36:27You sustain, A-A-A-A-A-A around to your body.
- 36:32It was never personal.
- 36:33It was just an advocacy.
- 36:34Listen, if you have half a brain when there's live fire,
- 36:37you don't walk down range.
- 36:38Yeah.
- 36:38If the range is 24 hours in, there is an element of, Hey, listen, a class
- 36:43could be going on, a training evolution could be manifesting, stay out of there.
- 36:47But these people were so stupid that, they were just like, all right,
- 36:50I'm gonna tiptoe over there anyway.
- 36:51The threat to general public was based on, these two morons, trespassing and,
- 36:55trying to take pictures and trying to get, intelligence on me or trying to, whatever.
- 37:00But.
- 37:01While it's annoying, there's nothing illegal happening.
- 37:04Does that make sense?
- 37:05Yeah, absolutely.
- 37:07But there were things going on in the town that were pretty illegal.
- 37:11I know you were having a lot of people come in and to do the shooting and stuff.
- 37:14They were coming through town, and I guess the town is like, they're
- 37:18pretty racist from what you're yeah.
- 37:20Saying.
- 37:21Tell us a little bit about that.
- 37:22Yeah.
- 37:23Even with some of the young men that I mentored, I've talked about them yeah.
- 37:27In other podcasts, they were almost always of a minority.
- 37:30I had a situation one time where this young man named Jonathan,
- 37:34he is got a poofy afro and, just.
- 37:37I would take 'em from the city, many different youth and bring them up.
- 37:40And, I didn't really know the depth of this, but I, I took him
- 37:43to the general store one time and I said, listen, John, here's, money.
- 37:46Go in, get whatever you want.
- 37:47And, I seen the good old boys looking at him, he's a piece of meat.
- 37:51They're just licking their chops.
- 37:52And I couldn't allow him to feel that negativity, right?
- 37:56Because listen I put up a lot of responsibility, not only from
- 38:00a character standpoint, a moral standpoint, a liability, right?
- 38:04These kids are wards of the state.
- 38:06I'm taking 'em outta New York state and bringing them to Vermont.
- 38:08There's a lot of responsibility.
- 38:09I'm sure you could appreciate that.
- 38:11Yeah.
- 38:11So to have a problem, after that and other situations, I
- 38:15hadn't stopped bringing youth.
- 38:16But, these good old boys are like, what's that nigger doing here?
- 38:19Or saying these racist things and I was always caught in a precarious situation.
- 38:23'cause I was with them.
- 38:24I couldn't do anything.
- 38:26Not that I would do something nefarious, but I would definitely say, Hey,
- 38:29listen, why don't you call me that?
- 38:31Or, why don't you check me on the shoulder?
- 38:33You're so tough.
- 38:34Hey but they knew not to do that with me.
- 38:36They just wanted to affect the minorities that came in.
- 38:40And I'm sure that you've served with other, no one's pure white.
- 38:44So how could I say to, a cert team that comes from X, Y, Z?
- 38:49Hey, don't bring anybody gay.
- 38:52Don't bring anybody Puerto Rican.
- 38:54Like I, you can't set those, you can't set that criteria.
- 38:58Yeah.
- 38:58You just say, come everyone come to the range.
- 39:00Everyone come.
- 39:02And, when they started to get ostracized from the community or feel
- 39:05that racism, then they lean on me.
- 39:08Hey Daniel, we just drove 300 miles.
- 39:13We needed fuel.
- 39:14What's the deal with Sheldon's Market, or what's the deal with Max Market?
- 39:18I'm like, no, man.
- 39:19I'm sorry.
- 39:20I'm, it's my fault.
- 39:21But it puts me, it backs me into a corner and it did back me into a corner.
- 39:27Yeah.
- 39:29And then on top of that, there's a farm up the road and people drive by and
- 39:32there's some guy out there, doing some strange things to animals that is illegal.
- 39:38Tell us a little bit about that.
- 39:39That's a crazy story.
- 39:40Yeah.
- 39:40Yeah, go ahead.
- 39:42Never did I think how the manifestation of that one Facebook post.
- 39:47Would start such chaos.
- 39:48There, there's people in this community that went on, the New York Times, all
- 39:52the major and say that, they were glued to our Facebook activity because that
- 39:56was the way we were disseminating.
- 39:58But, I put this map up about bestiality, and it was just basically
- 40:02the whole country colored in.
- 40:03And if I recall correctly, red was a felony, and blue was a
- 40:06misdemeanor, or there was some matrix.
- 40:09And, I was hoping that these, this person in this group that saw
- 40:14that would be like, oh, all right.
- 40:16Daniel's onto us.
- 40:18Daniel's friends and constituents are onto us.
- 40:20Maybe we better cease and desist this type of behavior.
- 40:23But really it collapsed because the chief of police wanted me to take that
- 40:29down because the level of embarrassment.
- 40:31And I'm like, Hey, forget about the embarrassment.
- 40:34How about implement the change?
- 40:36File some charges, get the state attorney general involved, get, get some.
- 40:39Just go and take a picture with your camera hold these people accountable.
- 40:43This isn't appropriate.
- 40:45Yeah.
- 40:45So you went with him.
- 40:47He came and he wasn't on duty or anything, and he is asked you to take it down,
- 40:51just do the right thing and take it down.
- 40:54Of course, he's, he's got some issues too with this background.
- 40:57He should be not in his position of law enforcement.
- 41:01So you take it down you're, okay let's see what happens.
- 41:03But the bestiality continues.
- 41:06Yeah.
- 41:06Nothing changes with these folks.
- 41:08If you call tomorrow morning, the town hall they'll brag to you that since
- 41:111837, there's been no minorities in this community, when I checked into
- 41:15this community, I remember going into the town hall and Deb Hawkins, the town
- 41:19clerk was like, okay, Daniel, we'll see you and your wife and church on Sunday.
- 41:23And I'm like, oh, no ma'am, I'm sorry.
- 41:26We, we're Sabbath keepers.
- 41:27And she's excuse me?
- 41:28I'm like, yeah, we don't worship on Sunday.
- 41:29We worship on the Sabbath.
- 41:30She goes no.
- 41:31Everybody comes to church on the Sunday.
- 41:32I'm like, it's not gonna be me.
- 41:35We go to church on the Sabbath.
- 41:36We're Sabbath keepers.
- 41:37You have to drink the Kool-Aid.
- 41:38You gotta stay on their bandwagon, otherwise they're gonna do
- 41:41what they did to me, to you.
- 41:45Wow.
- 41:45That's incredible.
- 41:46Yeah.
- 41:47So why do you think that Vermont is so corrupt?
- 41:50We see it from the top all the way down.
- 41:53I really I I personally cannot give you an educated statement.
- 41:58I can give you a hypothetical.
- 41:59Okay.
- 42:00And that's the hypothetical comes from what I've experienced.
- 42:04Let me give you a perfect example.
- 42:06When I complained to the Secretary of State several years ago, I forgot the
- 42:10lady's name I never forget this day.
- 42:13I called her and when she picked up the phone, she goes, I knew someday you would
- 42:17be calling me because she had caller id and my phone number came up with my name.
- 42:22And basically what I was complaining about was the favoritism,
- 42:25nepotism, and corruption.
- 42:27Now let's look at, let's look at the nepotism, right on my town
- 42:31board, rich Hewlett's on the board.
- 42:33His little but buddy, best friend and partner, Bob Jones is on there.
- 42:38And then his girlfriend, his side chick, Kristen Powers is on there, right?
- 42:42So there's three of them where the, Robert's laws and all these other,
- 42:47when you try to have a quorum, certain amounts, people can't.
- 42:52Be together.
- 42:53I'm sure you're privy to all those facts, right?
- 42:55Very good.
- 42:55You have to leave it to be non-biased.
- 42:57Make sense?
- 42:58Yeah.
- 42:58Okay.
- 42:59These people are together all the time.
- 43:01So what I went to do is complain and this woman's listen, since I knew
- 43:06you're gonna be calling someday, and it was only a matter of time.
- 43:08She's listen, there is no accountability.
- 43:11And I said, excuse me ma'am.
- 43:12And she said, there is no oversight committee to, to oversee the actions
- 43:18of the town's political they could do anything, whether just or injust
- 43:23in the state has no sanction.
- 43:26They have no organization or department to oversee those behaviors.
- 43:30So if you have a problem about your town zoning or your town select
- 43:36boardmen, you can complain to them.
- 43:38But guess what they're gonna do?
- 43:40They're gonna send, they're gonna say kick rocks.
- 43:43You cannot go above them because there is no organization, there is
- 43:47no agency to oversee or implement, even a quasi-judicial process and
- 43:53say, Hey listen, maybe you didn't do this right town board or whatever.
- 43:57So therefore they can go and do whatever they wanna do.
- 44:01And at that time, the injustice were so great.
- 44:05She actually said to me, the only recourse you have is to go to the Federal Bureau
- 44:09of Investigation, or if you are so well inclined, make a complaint to the State
- 44:14Attorney General, but they're only gonna side with the community they represent.
- 44:19It's like making a complaint about a cop, it's it's gonna
- 44:22turn into a civil disaster.
- 44:25Wow.
- 44:26And so you're basically, you went in and you wanted to build
- 44:29on your land and do different things, and you had a guy come in.
- 44:33He did, he's gave you, the paperwork signed it off, you paid your $400, right?
- 44:38So time goes on and they decide that you should have known that this guy
- 44:42was illiterate and had some problems.
- 44:45And so they go all the way back to that point.
- 44:47They take that away and everything from that point on is against you.
- 44:50You had no rights from that point on.
- 44:52And did you take that to Supreme Court?
- 44:55Yeah, we did.
- 44:56So we lost in the lower court.
- 44:58I had some crappy attorneys.
- 45:01I had some good attorneys.
- 45:02We took that to Supreme Court.
- 45:04The Supreme Court, they're all anti-gun.
- 45:06It's exclusively democratic, very good old boys, there, there's, I've had a
- 45:11lot of legal scholars from each end of the country and in, in between.
- 45:15Look at my claim and be like, listen, this is a 1983 court.
- 45:20It's a take in.
- 45:21It's a it's a serious violation of your civil rights and constitutional rights.
- 45:26Your civil rights, and your constitutional rights.
- 45:27Because I didn't open up, a deli, a mechanic shop.
- 45:32I opened up something that was constitutionally protected here.
- 45:36The Second Amendment.
- 45:37Yeah.
- 45:37And for the state to deem my property prohibited.
- 45:42It's on my title.
- 45:43You can't shoot.
- 45:43Titled it is a gun-free zone, basically.
- 45:46And then, take down permitted and even agriculture stuff is just, it's radical.
- 45:52It's really radical.
- 45:53And the Supreme Court, they sided with it.
- 45:55They, they wrote not even a full page.
- 45:58I think it was a half page decision.
- 46:00It was like, listen, judge Durkin's.
- 46:01And that, that touched a lot of people in the sense that, wow, we really
- 46:06thought you would've wanted to supreme the good old boys at the lower court.
- 46:09You took it up to the Supreme Court, five justices, evaluated this case
- 46:14law, et cetera, and you still lost.
- 46:18Unbelievable.
- 46:19Yeah.
- 46:20Wow.
- 46:20Just corruption like we're talking about, through and through.
- 46:23Wow.
- 46:23Let's, let me let me show the I guess the court order against you.
- 46:29So Happy New Year.
- 46:31Hi, Robert.
- 46:31Happy New Year.
- 46:32The town will be noticing its entry into 5 41 Briar Hill Road to
- 46:37complete that deconstruction work.
- 46:40In the next few days, the town will complete removal of the berms, the
- 46:44barn, the run-in, and the grain silo, all of which were identified in the
- 46:50town's most recent summary to the court.
- 46:52I assume you want to be present for that, so I just want to give you a heads
- 46:56up so that you can plan accordingly.
- 46:59I will let you know the precise day and time as soon as I have that set
- 47:03with the contractor, and I'll provide at least the 48 hours required by
- 47:07the court's order, if not more.
- 47:10How much money do you you probably know how much money did you put in the berms
- 47:14and the ranges and all that kind of stuff.
- 47:18So everything that I put in a value of tangible material.
- 47:25I lost $1.6 million of infrastructure.
- 47:28Got, whether it be micro lambs seamless.
- 47:31I lost it all into the local dump.
- 47:34It was all, when I was incarcerated, they came in, they bulldozed crushed everything
- 47:40and took everything to the dump, the animals housing the food source, the silos
- 47:45where we kept, the grain for the animals.
- 47:47They left the animals, but they took everything to allow the animals to live
- 47:51a healthy and successful life away.
- 47:53It just got very contagious and toxic, especially for this woman.
- 47:58She spearheaded this, her hate and desire to end me has been very successful.
- 48:03Very successful.
- 48:06Yeah.
- 48:07And yeah, somebody in the chat says you had all the permits and
- 48:11then they imagine you get permitted to build your house, right?
- 48:16You build a house and you're living there for 5, 4, 5 years and they come
- 48:20in and say, nah, that permit is revoked and we're gonna tear your house down.
- 48:24Imagine that.
- 48:26That's what happened to Daniel.
- 48:28Unbelievable.
- 48:29And I really think, while, people say all terrible stuff about me, and I don't care.
- 48:34I know who I am, but what I ask that person to do is listen,
- 48:38forget about on the character.
- 48:40Just understand this.
- 48:42This could happen to you.
- 48:44The Vermont Republican Party and the Vermont NRNC was very prominent.
- 48:49The minute this order came out and they were like, listen,
- 48:52okay, he likes black people.
- 48:54He, he socializes with the LGBTQ plus community.
- 48:57We don't like that.
- 48:58But this could happen to us.
- 49:01This could happen to any Vermont citizen.
- 49:04We need to get behind that.
- 49:05But it was already the precedent the motions already came in
- 49:09and the order already came down setting this new precedent.
- 49:12So it was too late.
- 49:14It was too late.
- 49:15You should have helped me years before in, in trying to stall or completely
- 49:20eliminate, the, these types of lawsuits.
- 49:23These I call 'em frivolous.
- 49:25And, they, listen, the town's invested over $200,000 of the taxpayer dollars.
- 49:30And my town community, I have the book here and, I could send you a copy.
- 49:35Our legal budget for all six, 650, let's just say residents is $5,000
- 49:41a year, 5,000 for all residents.
- 49:45The bill, this lawyer she's making, she's, she's already billed like $200,000 to the
- 49:50community and they don't answer to it.
- 49:51The taxpayer doesn't know they're so dumb, they don't care.
- 49:54They just wanna get rid of me at any cost.
- 49:57Meanwhile, infrastructure, we got bridges that are damaged, we've
- 49:59got roads that are bad, all the money's going to eradicate me.
- 50:04Wow.
- 50:05Yeah.
- 50:05So typical in a lot of these communities, unfortunately,
- 50:07that are corrupt, like this.
- 50:09So yeah, it's no one seems to have come to your support except for,
- 50:14guys like me and you've been on some other shows and so forth.
- 50:17Getting the message out there.
- 50:19Have you gotten any support from any could at some point?
- 50:24I think you're gonna get your money back on a lot more.
- 50:27I hope so.
- 50:27And I don't know.
- 50:29I don't even know if I would want to go back there unless all those people are
- 50:31cleared out to re to do my range again, but what are people helping you on a,
- 50:36cover or how's it working out for you?
- 50:39There is, there's been benefactors, there's been groups, there's
- 50:42been a very large Jewish group.
- 50:43The the state's largest lgbtq plus group has been helping me.
- 50:47While they don't like, because I'm a gun guy, they like, my,
- 50:49my voice, they like my strength.
- 50:51They like my tenacity are helping me.
- 50:54But they're not willing to get in the front line to protest.
- 50:56They're not willing to get, in, in, in a political arena to,
- 51:00to provoke or invoke, change.
- 51:03This has to change at the top, right?
- 51:05Somebody from the governor, some judicial and not quasi, some judicial
- 51:12person or group needs to make a policy, needs to make changes in.
- 51:20Either A, preventing this from happening to others, or b, really and methodically
- 51:26without, narratives, without smearing.
- 51:30Explain to the general populous what is exactly happened in layman's terms.
- 51:35Because, people get excited about how bad it is, but then they
- 51:39get mixed up with the character.
- 51:41He is a private security contractor.
- 51:42Oh, he's got this trouble, he's got that trouble.
- 51:45Oh, we talked to his ex-wife, oh, blah, blah, blah.
- 51:47None of that has anything to do with what has happened.
- 51:51If people implement just a tiny percent of fact checking or, behind
- 51:57the scenes, Google searching a FOIA request, case law, et cetera,
- 52:02you'll see how disgusting this is.
- 52:05How politically motivated is ver Vermont is not a gun friendly state.
- 52:09I got duped by that.
- 52:11I, I thought about Pennsylvania.
- 52:12I thought about others, I specifically picked here 'cause it was a Second
- 52:16amendment, a constitutional carry state.
- 52:18Little did I know they're not, they hate guns, they hate gun owners,
- 52:22I know Hunters listen to me.
- 52:24I know hunters that they're like, listen, I like the gun only for
- 52:28the two weeks of hunting season.
- 52:29Other than that, I hate it.
- 52:31I wouldn't use it if it was a home invasion.
- 52:33I don't clean it.
- 52:34I don't know what caliber it is.
- 52:36And I'm just like, really?
- 52:37What reality are you living in?
- 52:39No kidding.
- 52:39You
- 52:39know what I mean?
- 52:40No, I have, I've been introduced to veterans with, anti-gun
- 52:44rhetoric, anti-gun movements.
- 52:45I'm like, wait a minute.
- 52:46Didn't you serve in combat?
- 52:47Yeah, we shouldn't have used guns.
- 52:49And I'm like, wow, man.
- 52:50Like, where's your brain?
- 52:52You are outside of your minds.
- 52:55Wow.
- 52:56Yeah.
- 52:56Yeah,
- 52:57I've seen a little bit of that as well.
- 52:58It's stunningly how the system can somehow comes in and corrupts people's minds.
- 53:04It just takes away their, critical thinking and then supplants it with
- 53:08stupidity beyond belief it seems to be really taking hold there in Vermont
- 53:13Kevin Hoyt yourself, push you back on a system that is exceptionally corrupt.
- 53:17And it just doesn't seem to be getting any traction yet.
- 53:21So I hope that we're able to get this out to more people now.
- 53:25So here you are on your land.
- 53:28They're telling you that, you, they're gonna arrest you your arrest warrant,
- 53:32and you're just stay on your land and no one wants to come up there and mess with
- 53:35you 'cause they know your background.
- 53:36Mark.
- 53:37Yeah.
- 53:37And and then eventually the warrants run out and you're able
- 53:41to go back in town and so forth.
- 53:42And then you have some, you get blindsided.
- 53:45Tell us a little bit about what happened.
- 53:47Yeah.
- 53:47So David Brodsky, he is the son to the major benefactor or one of the major
- 53:52benefactors the Brodsky Foundation.
- 53:54Him and I are traveling and traversing to the community like I always did.
- 53:58I listen people say I have a disrespect or a level of insubordination to the law.
- 54:04That's not the, that's not the case.
- 54:06That's not the case at all.
- 54:06I'm not anti law enforcement and I've taught at Pristine Law Enforcement
- 54:10Academy at Flexi, Quantico, I've been in places where, my opinions in and my
- 54:15professionalism was a product of success.
- 54:17So it's, I'm not anti law enforcement.
- 54:19I'm anti,
- 54:20they're shooting academies and all kinds of training.
- 54:23I heard what you're talking about on other shows.
- 54:24It's God, you went through all the stuff that I went through in the military.
- 54:27It's frigging incredible, right?
- 54:28You got a incredible pedigree.
- 54:30Yeah.
- 54:30Yeah.
- 54:31So I'm not, what I am is anti illegitimate, a judge said to me.
- 54:38While you had a valid building permit, I avoided it.
- 54:40I have a problem with that.
- 54:41I think every American, every citizen should have a problem with that.
- 54:45You gave me the permit.
- 54:46I paid multiple years taxes on that.
- 54:48A lot of people forget that.
- 54:49Several years went by that I paid taxes on the modifications to my property, right?
- 54:54Yes.
- 54:54I paid the permitting fee.
- 54:56400 bucks.
- 54:56They gave that back to me.
- 54:57Wow.
- 54:58But I paid taxes on it.
- 55:00And I felt the ownership of that because the authenticity and the
- 55:05integrity of the permitting process.
- 55:07Okay.
- 55:07Now you tell me to take it down.
- 55:09No.
- 55:10The average Ramona goes, yes.
- 55:11God, yes.
- 55:12Master, yes.
- 55:13Judge Durkin, Meryl Bent, you are our leader.
- 55:16That's not me.
- 55:17That won't ever be you either.
- 55:19Yeah, I look to it.
- 55:21Good job.
- 55:22Yeah.
- 55:22Yeah.
- 55:23So I said, no, a civil warrant goes out for contempt of court.
- 55:27I didn't find that to be legitimate.
- 55:29This Thomas Covino, which has hate for Jews, he's the police officer.
- 55:33We exposed, prior to my arrest, we, we let the community know we
- 55:38let mothers against drunk driving.
- 55:40We let you know the state.
- 55:41We let everyone know, listen, this guy is not of the caliber
- 55:47of the proper moral t turpitude.
- 55:49If you look at the mission statement and I'm gonna quote something
- 55:53I looked at several years ago.
- 55:54It might have been modified or could be redacted, I don't know.
- 55:57But at the time, the Department of Justice was like, listen,
- 56:01we, I'm paraphrasing, right?
- 56:02Yeah.
- 56:02I'm paraphrasing.
- 56:03Quote, we need law enforcement of good moral standing, good moral turpitude
- 56:08and characters of becoming responsible.
- 56:12How do you implement that character in someone that has not a lengthy
- 56:17criminal background, but four DWIs, burglary, charge domestic
- 56:22violence, surrender your firearm.
- 56:24You're a police officer.
- 56:27Listen, Mike, listen Michael.
- 56:29The issue here is that there is a certain group of people here in
- 56:34Vermont that still love that guy.
- 56:36They're like listen, everybody makes mistakes, Dan.
- 56:38Everybody grows.
- 56:39I'm like, okay.
- 56:40The first EWI, the second come on guy for a robbery A, a burglary.
- 56:47Come on.
- 56:48You can't make this stuff up.
- 56:49Now.
- 56:50He just happened to meet someone that's stronger than him,
- 56:52morally, mentally, spiritually.
- 56:55So I didn't look at his badge and say, Hey, listen, the tarnish of your
- 57:00badge is personal because you are the one that did all this terrible stuff.
- 57:05Yeah.
- 57:05You probably should have been, a butcher or a stock worker or something.
- 57:10You got a pass because your buddy Bill Humphreys, gave you the blessing
- 57:14and put you out into law enforcement.
- 57:16Yeah.
- 57:16Now there is a credibility issue, I'm gonna bring it up in my case.
- 57:20I know Mr.
- 57:21Kevin Hoyt has, very thoroughly illustrated that to different towns.
- 57:26I think he lost his position in one town 'cause they weren't privy to that.
- 57:29Listen, the good old boys can only cover up stuff for so long.
- 57:32People like myself and others need to keep exposing these people and
- 57:36then hopefully will trip them up.
- 57:38Because, I know when you signed up for seals, your background
- 57:41was quintessential to that.
- 57:42They checked you, they checked your neighbors.
- 57:44I know the whole process.
- 57:46Yeah.
- 57:46So the implementation of bonafide you starts with the process.
- 57:51This process is not being fulfilled here in.
- 57:56I think the general public really needs to know that, you could be asking for
- 58:00permission from a convicted pedophile.
- 58:02You could be asking for leniency and sentencing with a state attorney
- 58:07general that has photoshopped and manufactured evidence.
- 58:10That's not me speaking, that's just me regurgitating and disseminating
- 58:16the behaviors of these ship bags.
- 58:18Yeah.
- 58:19So you're driving in your car.
- 58:21I heard a little bit of this.
- 58:22I didn't get all of it.
- 58:24Yeah.
- 58:24But you roll down your window, you pepper sprays you.
- 58:27Socks crack outta you and they arrest you.
- 58:30Yeah.
- 58:30God, tell us that story.
- 58:31That's frigging unbelievable.
- 58:33Yeah.
- 58:33He sprayed me in the face with mace.
- 58:35He sucker punched, he punched me right my eye.
- 58:37He broke my orbital socket, my cranial ocular socket on my c ocular cavity.
- 58:41I lost some teeth and I had to have my shoulder completely rebuilt.
- 58:44Once the cops got there, they beat the shit outta me.
- 58:47And I, Hey, listen I'm not gonna, I'm not gonna sugarcoat that.
- 58:50I'm not a fist fighter.
- 58:51I'm a gun fighter.
- 58:52I took a beating and I went to the hospital, I went into the incarceration.
- 58:57I, and, they feel good.
- 58:59They feel, you look at their Facebook pages, you look at their quotes in the
- 59:02public, to the media in, in, in print and in news, they're held as heroes.
- 59:06Like literally, people look at them as you're a magnificent.
- 59:11Law enforcement, you're a great cop, hail to the hero like, for a zoning violation
- 59:15I'm sure being hung around with guys like you or other real stellar citizens, they'd
- 59:19look at you and be like, you're a zero.
- 59:21Like you're below zero.
- 59:23You know what I mean?
- 59:24But that's the pompous and arrogant nature of all these folks.
- 59:27I took the beating and I went into incarceration and my life
- 59:30has changed ever since then, I am not convicted of a felony.
- 59:34I am charged with a felony and, I'm advocating grotesquely for, a fair
- 59:40judicial process and accountability for this Constable Covino.
- 59:45I, we feel he needs to be held and hopefully charged for what the
- 59:50state has already deemed as using excessive force and enforce outside
- 59:56the parameters of law enforcement.
- 59:59Yeah.
- 1:00:00Here's a quote here.
- 1:00:01It says, our governor went on the local news and said Daniel was
- 1:00:04the most dangerous man in Vermont.
- 1:00:08Listen I would love to talk to Phil Scott and I think that
- 1:00:12day is coming closer than ever.
- 1:00:13I have some bigger podcasts.
- 1:00:15I'm not.
- 1:00:16Demoralizing or demeaning anyone.
- 1:00:18But I've got some huge podcasts coming up and the level of accountability,
- 1:00:23the pressure is coming on, the level of accountability is coming on.
- 1:00:27And, the governor's saying that is just ludicrous.
- 1:00:30It's not only did he build up the threat towards me, look at
- 1:00:34every level of law enforcement.
- 1:00:36They went on news, every channel and said, we're not going up there.
- 1:00:41So you hurt yourself in holding me outta standard high, putting me
- 1:00:45on a pedestal of un untouchable.
- 1:00:48And I have a problem with that too, because, if I do something wrong, I need
- 1:00:52to be held accountable like everyone else.
- 1:00:54But I think, in, in regards to our sheriff and our community, the comment
- 1:00:58on of the state police of the state, I think they knew and looked at oh shit.
- 1:01:03This guy's all in, right?
- 1:01:04Like he forgot more than we know.
- 1:01:08He, we've been up there we see the, the federal documentation.
- 1:01:12Nah, I don't think we're gonna go mess with him.
- 1:01:15But, you got this, hail hero, Constable covino taking, the gold medallion for
- 1:01:21capturing the most wanted man in Vermont.
- 1:01:24Wow.
- 1:01:24And then, yeah, once, once they wouldn't go touch your
- 1:01:27land like you're talking about.
- 1:01:28It wouldn't even go near it.
- 1:01:29But once they, ambushed you and threw you in prison, they went in
- 1:01:33and it's destroyed everything, right?
- 1:01:35Yeah.
- 1:01:35Everything.
- 1:01:35Goat milking parlor the chicken coop.
- 1:01:38They just,
- 1:01:39ah,
- 1:01:39to this day I'm not even able to watch the videos 'cause I'll cry.
- 1:01:43That's how damaging it is, these bare hands built everything, other war
- 1:01:47fighters, other gun fighters, other, people like me and like you and of
- 1:01:52your caliber, help me build this place.
- 1:01:54And, for these people to come in for profit, it all, it costs thousands
- 1:01:57and hundreds of thousands of dollars.
- 1:01:58Demolition crew, bulldozing crew the containers, all the rubbish had to be
- 1:02:04crushed and put into containers and hauled off, they took everything off the
- 1:02:07property, just leveled it, just completely leveled my land and lit the torch and
- 1:02:13then shut the torch down of victory,
- 1:02:14incredible.
- 1:02:16So yeah, that, that must have been incredible.
- 1:02:18With the goats on there.
- 1:02:19So you had the goats for goat milk, super healthy and the chicken eggs.
- 1:02:23Wow.
- 1:02:24Yep.
- 1:02:24Yeah.
- 1:02:25I built it, I built this place to be all encompassing.
- 1:02:28Wow.
- 1:02:28And, in other podcasts and other publications, I've told people like,
- 1:02:33I'm not really going to boast on who would come here, but very elite people
- 1:02:37would come to my facility and, they would bring their wife, they would bring
- 1:02:41their children, and it wasn't all about dipping Velcro, a mother could get out
- 1:02:45and go frolic with the sheets or the goats or go throw a saddle on the horse.
- 1:02:50And, I made it so that the women and children and everyone felt safe
- 1:02:55and embraced this place, uhhuh, this community, this state took it all away.
- 1:03:00Total evil.
- 1:03:01You had something very good.
- 1:03:03And evil just came in and destroyed it and got, I don't think they got away with
- 1:03:08it, but for that moment in time, they did.
- 1:03:10But at some point I think it's really gonna, like you talked about, Karma's
- 1:03:14gonna be a bitch for these people.
- 1:03:16I'm hoping, with this advocacy and this disseminating, you know that there's
- 1:03:20a legal and safe and constitutionally protected way for retribution.
- 1:03:24That, some level while there should be ambiguity behind it, a level of
- 1:03:29retribution to these folks can be applied.
- 1:03:32I've always said it publicly, and I'll continue to say it.
- 1:03:35People that negate constitutional rights or encroach upon civil
- 1:03:39liberties need to be held accountable.
- 1:03:41They feel victorious.
- 1:03:43They feel v very validated a in the application of doing that.
- 1:03:47But behind the scenes in society, there are people that are cringing and
- 1:03:52there are people that are called to action to say, okay, enough is enough.
- 1:03:57We need to do something.
- 1:03:59We need to implement something to hold these people accountable and
- 1:04:03present that level of accountability.
- 1:04:07Based on, I fear nothing.
- 1:04:08I'm not fearful.
- 1:04:09I'm, I hear this term doxing all the time.
- 1:04:12Doxing the word just came into the English vocabulary four or five years now.
- 1:04:15It, that's not a constitutional violation.
- 1:04:18We need people to stand up and we need the people to call to action
- 1:04:22and say, listen, I've got the strength, I've got the sophistication.
- 1:04:26I'm gonna help hold people accountable.
- 1:04:28Yeah, definitely.
- 1:04:30Now there was, there's a comment that you donated all of the animal meat, et cetera.
- 1:04:35Yeah.
- 1:04:36So you know, another thing that pissed this community off, I'm a vegetarian.
- 1:04:39I have a very religious diet.
- 1:04:41I don't eat any meat.
- 1:04:42We donated in 2023, we donated 900 pounds of pork and 300 pounds of ground beef.
- 1:04:50I would put posts out on social media any single mom, any domestic
- 1:04:54violence survivor and veterans first front of the line, right?
- 1:04:58You can have whatever you want.
- 1:05:00People would come, they would get, grass fed, all organic, all natural
- 1:05:04meat, and we would donate eggs.
- 1:05:06We'd, we embraced society and I knew there was haters in the line, and I didn't care.
- 1:05:12I didn't care.
- 1:05:13I it made no difference to me.
- 1:05:14I didn't worry that you didn't like me, but you respected me to come.
- 1:05:19Have the fruits of my success and the fruits of my success was to help
- 1:05:24you, your nutrients and your caloric intake by getting good quality meat
- 1:05:28or eggs or chicken or whatever.
- 1:05:30And, that wasn't to cover up that.
- 1:05:32That was my plan all along, to help people just like the range, help people,
- 1:05:36wow.
- 1:05:36That's really impressive.
- 1:05:37You're a vegetarian as you're a huge guy.
- 1:05:39Good job on, doing the vegetarian.
- 1:05:41Yeah.
- 1:05:41I'm 283 pounds.
- 1:05:43I don't know how much, what guys tell me all the time, Daniel, I
- 1:05:45can't imagine if you ate a hamburger or you picked up some roast beef.
- 1:05:49They're like, shit, you'd be a monster.
- 1:05:52I doubt.
- 1:05:53I doubt.
- 1:05:53That's hilarious.
- 1:05:55You've given to the world, you've given to your community but it, struck
- 1:06:00back sometimes God puts strong people like yourself in these positions.
- 1:06:04Yeah.
- 1:06:04So you exposed stuff.
- 1:06:05I hope you, you get to that point.
- 1:06:07We're expose to Daniel.
- 1:06:09Yeah I'm really trying, I, I know the mockery is the fight.
- 1:06:13I'm doing it all alone.
- 1:06:14But, there are other people.
- 1:06:15Look at Kevin Hoyt.
- 1:06:16I've seen him expose some valuable and credible things, DIN numbers,
- 1:06:20and, he has a lot of hate to him too.
- 1:06:22But the moral of the story is that if you look at something that he
- 1:06:26or anyone says and find validity, credibility, authenticity, and it's in
- 1:06:32violation of the law or in violation of something that affects us, why would
- 1:06:38it not behoove you to get behind them?
- 1:06:41Who cares if he is, who cares if he's blind or deaf or, listen the
- 1:06:46characterization and the characterization attacks are of epic proportions.
- 1:06:51It holds no value in the cause.
- 1:06:54It doesn't look at the cause and get behind it, hold the people that are
- 1:06:58doing those nefarious things accountable.
- 1:07:01People, I hear people all the time, talk to me about that
- 1:07:04and questioning about that.
- 1:07:05I don't know the intimate details.
- 1:07:07I do know that he has exposed those things that are fundamentally illegitimate.
- 1:07:13I can't share your EIN number.
- 1:07:14You can't share my non-for-profit EIN number.
- 1:07:17Why is it suitable and acceptable for others to get away with that?
- 1:07:22Yeah, good point.
- 1:07:24Yeah.
- 1:07:25So the the law fair against you a good upstanding citizen of great
- 1:07:29value to your country and your community I think that's gonna
- 1:07:32really resonate with a lot of people.
- 1:07:34How they came after you and the exposure of those groups has to go forward.
- 1:07:40So you're saying that you're gonna be doing more of these shows?
- 1:07:43I hope you will.
- 1:07:45Yeah, I'm, I, listen, my voice is all I have right now while I'm
- 1:07:49subject to an attack the character attack, it's a relentless thing.
- 1:07:55I, I don't have any problems with that.
- 1:07:56What I do know is that, the fruits of communicating with people is,
- 1:08:02disseminating information, bridging gaps, allocating resources so that
- 1:08:06people can ultimately get behind this and listen in, in, in closing, what it
- 1:08:12equates to is that this should never happen to another American citizen.
- 1:08:17It should not.
- 1:08:18There is no the product of success of giving someone a permit.
- 1:08:24Having that person build exactly what's on that permit and then taking away
- 1:08:28that permit, weaponizing it, terrorizing that person, incarcerating that person.
- 1:08:34It's not it's not the American dream.
- 1:08:37It's not a product of American justice.
- 1:08:40It's not.
- 1:08:41No, not at all.
- 1:08:43Yeah.
- 1:08:43And Daniel, like I said you're gonna be a great representative, I believe for
- 1:08:47exposing this God picked a great warrior.
- 1:08:50Thank
- 1:08:50you.
- 1:08:50It's
- 1:08:50a pleasure speaking with you.
- 1:08:52And I wish you the best of luck going forward and anything else
- 1:08:54comes up that you wanna speak about, and share, just let us know.
- 1:08:57We'll have you on asap and good luck.
- 1:09:00Great, sir. Thank you very much.
- 1:09:02I appreciate you.
- 1:09:03I appreciate your podcast and your audience.
- 1:09:06I salute you.
