Ketubot, Daf 71
Welcome to the Daily Daf Differently. In this episode, Rabbi Abby Sosland looks at Masechet Ketubot, Daf 71.
In the middle of the discussion on vows made between husband and wife, and all the potential problems that might arise in any marriage, the Talmud brings verses that remind us of the relationship between God and the people Israel. In the midst of the legal discussion, the rabbis push us to strive for holiness, even– or especially– in our most intimate relationships.
