- 0:00I want us, if we can, to turn to 2 Corinthians
- 0:03chapter 10, and we're going to start in verse
- 0:071. We're going to read down through verse 6.
- 0:09And this verse, I'm preaching this verse today
- 0:14because this verse came as a word from the Lord.
- 0:19Actually, Kay felt this scripture impressed on
- 0:24her about 10 or 12 days ago. And released it
- 0:29into our seniors group. Our seniors meet for
- 0:32prayer every Wednesday at 1 p .m. And if you'd
- 0:36like details on that, I'd be happy to give that
- 0:38to you. And then she released it. I had her release
- 0:42that same word on our Wednesday night prayer
- 0:46meeting. And I have felt like it is a scripture
- 0:51for our church for this time. And it might be
- 0:56that this morning God wants to just apply it
- 1:00to your situation and your life right where you
- 1:04are. And so let's read the word of the Lord,
- 1:082 Corinthians 10, 1 through 6. Now I, Paul, myself,
- 1:15am pleading with you by the meekness and gentleness
- 1:19of Christ. who in presence am lowly among you,
- 1:25but being absent am bold toward you. But I beg
- 1:30you that when I am present, I may not be bold
- 1:34with that confidence by which I intend to be
- 1:38bold against some who think of us as if we walked
- 1:42according to the flesh. For though we walk in
- 1:46the flesh, We do not war according to the flesh,
- 1:51for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal,
- 1:55but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,
- 2:01casting down arguments and every high thing that
- 2:06exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing
- 2:10every thought into captivity to the obedience
- 2:15of Christ. and being ready to punish all disobedience
- 2:20when your obedience is fulfilled. Lord, we thank
- 2:27you for your word. Your word changes us. Your
- 2:34word, when it takes root in our hearts, produces
- 2:38the effect in us that you have desired in our
- 2:43lives from the beginning. God, the people have
- 2:49come here today to worship you. They haven't
- 2:53come to hear the voice of a man. God, they've
- 2:59come to honor your word. And so, Lord, as we
- 3:04honor your word this morning, I pray that it
- 3:09will take root in our hearts. In Jesus' mighty
- 3:15name. Amen. Amen. Now this passage of Scripture,
- 3:23in context, is about Paul really defending himself
- 3:34against some people in the Corinthian church
- 3:38that had come against him. The majority of the
- 3:43church was with Paul and recognized him as an
- 3:46apostle. But if you skip down to verse 10, you
- 3:50see that some in the church were accusing Paul.
- 3:54In fact, they said in verse 10, you read it,
- 3:57for his letters, they say, are weighty and powerful,
- 4:01but his bodily presence is weak and his speech
- 4:06contemptible. And so they were accusing Paul
- 4:10of not being the real deal. Of hiding behind
- 4:16Facebook. But not being genuine in person. He
- 4:24could write well. But when he's here, he's weak.
- 4:30And he's not the real deal. Well, really what
- 4:34they were doing by slandering Paul. was dividing
- 4:38the church. That's what they were doing. Now,
- 4:42no leader is perfect, and there are ways to deal
- 4:46with issues and failures in the church, but slandering
- 4:50people behind their back is not biblical. And
- 4:54it only does the work of the enemy and divides.
- 4:59And so in this context, Paul is saying, That's
- 5:04where this quote comes from. Among Pentecostal
- 5:08believers, this is an awesome verse. The weapons
- 5:11of our warfare are not carnal, but they're mighty
- 5:13in God. Well, Paul was saying, I have weapons
- 5:17of spiritual warfare that go way beyond the flesh
- 5:22and things that are normal in this world, and
- 5:26we will see the stronghold of this divisive spirit.
- 5:31torn down in Jesus' name. And the things that
- 5:36come against the church, Ephesians 6 tells us,
- 5:39we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against
- 5:43powers and principalities and rulers of this
- 5:46dark world. How many of you know that there is
- 5:49an enemy in Lincoln, Illinois that hates the
- 5:52church? And that's the church at large preaching
- 5:56the gospel, but he also hates faith church and
- 6:00is trying to destroy this church from the inside
- 6:04out so that it is of no effect in our community.
- 6:08But Paul was saying, I have weapons of our warfare
- 6:13that are not carnal, but they are mighty in God.
- 6:16And because they're mighty in God, I can pull
- 6:19down the strongholds that are trying to divide
- 6:22the church. Isn't that good? And so, it is important
- 6:29that we realize that God has equipped us with
- 6:35tools to promote unity in the church. Now, Paul
- 6:42said it was the weapons of our warfare. Everybody
- 6:47say our. He didn't say this is the weapon of
- 6:52my warfare. I am the only one in this. No, he
- 6:57said these are weapons of our warfare. We are
- 7:02in this together. And so the first thing that
- 7:07I believe that God wants to highlight is that
- 7:10I think it's an awesome thing to pray for the
- 7:14unity of the church. In fact, Jesus, before he
- 7:17went to the cross, he prayed that. He said, I
- 7:20pray that they may be one, Father, as we are
- 7:24one. And the unity on the house is a beautiful
- 7:29thing. I'm not preaching this today because I
- 7:31sense any disunity. I'm preaching this today
- 7:34because I know the wiles and the schemes of the
- 7:37enemy that he would try to create disunity. Do
- 7:41you know that the enemy does this in homes? He
- 7:44does this in marriages. He does this in relationships
- 7:50and friendships, trying to steal, kill, and destroy.
- 7:54That's what the devil came. John 10 .10 says
- 7:57that the thief comes to steal and kill and destroy.
- 8:02And that's the schemes of the enemy. He wants
- 8:05to destroy your marriage. He wants to destroy
- 8:08your household. He wants to destroy the relationship
- 8:11you have with your children. Jesus came, the
- 8:17last part of John 10 .10, that we might have
- 8:20life and life more abundantly. Amen? And so this
- 8:25morning, we speak life into every marriage that's
- 8:28represented in this room right now in the name
- 8:32of Jesus. Hallelujah. In fact, I wasn't planning
- 8:35on this. This isn't in my notes, but I want to
- 8:38pray for every marriage represented in this church
- 8:41right now in Jesus' name. If your spouse is with
- 8:44you, Just grab them by the hand in Jesus' name.
- 8:48Father, I just thank you. I thank you for the
- 8:51blessing on marriages in this room right now.
- 8:54And we recognize, God, that the enemy has a scheme
- 8:57and a plan to destroy and break up marriages.
- 9:01God, I pray in Jesus' name. I pray in Jesus'
- 9:06name the favor and the blessing of God on marriages
- 9:11in this house right now. the name of the Lord.
- 9:15We thank you, Father, for the unity of the Spirit.
- 9:19We thank you for the unity in husbands and wives
- 9:23in the name of Jesus. Hallelujah. Praise the
- 9:27Lord. Praise the Lord. Somebody give praise to
- 9:30God right now. He preserves. He unites. He causes
- 9:36husbands and wives to grow together in Jesus'
- 9:39name. Cammie told the story of what happened
- 9:42to our vehicle last week. As I was driving down
- 9:46the road and a tire came flying at me and I hit
- 9:53that tire at about, I braked some, I hit it probably
- 9:56at 60 miles an hour and that tire that was rolling
- 10:00did not go flat. It catapulted our vehicle up
- 10:04into the air and then the trailer behind us up
- 10:07into the air and then after we had gone completely
- 10:10over the tire, that tire continued to roll down
- 10:13the road and then into the median. It was a pretty
- 10:17incredible thing. I'd never experienced anything
- 10:20like that in my life. I'm thanking God for his
- 10:23protection, amen? Thanking God for his protection.
- 10:27But when I had the vehicle examined, because
- 10:30after that, what happened is there was no shimmy
- 10:34in it before. It drove smooth and perfect. But
- 10:37after it hit that tire, when I got it up to about
- 10:4050 miles an hour, the vehicle just started shaking.
- 10:45And when I took it to the collision place, the
- 10:47collision guy told me, in fact, before he even
- 10:52elevated it, he said, oh, I see why it's shimmying.
- 10:55It's because the frame has been knocked out of
- 10:59alignment and the right half is fighting against
- 11:04the left half. And I thought, wow. And it hit
- 11:10me as I was preparing for this message. That's
- 11:14what was happening in the Corinthian church.
- 11:18The right half was fighting against the left
- 11:21half. And that can happen in a marriage, in a
- 11:26home, and in a relationship. It can happen in
- 11:29a nation. But when God shows up, when the church
- 11:35shows up with the weapons of our warfare that
- 11:38God has provided, he puts things back in alignment
- 11:42so that we can drive down the road and get where
- 11:47we need to go. He wants to keep the church in
- 11:52unity. That's a great thing to pray. Add that
- 11:54to your prayer list every day. God, give great
- 11:57unity to the church. Doesn't mean we always agree
- 11:59about everything, but we deal with things well,
- 12:02and we walk together in love. Amen? And we move
- 12:07forward in Jesus' name. Secondly, what I want
- 12:13to say from this passage is the weapons of our
- 12:16warfare are not carnal. Everybody say carnal.
- 12:21Now carnal, carnality is not the same thing as
- 12:27evil. In fact, carnality is not the same thing
- 12:31as sinful. Carnal simply means of this world.
- 12:38Okay? So when I'm operating carnally, I am just
- 12:47using, the tools I have at my disposal on my
- 12:52own. My own thinking. My own solutions. When
- 13:02you are not a believer and you don't have access
- 13:05to God, this is the only mode that you have to
- 13:10operate in. Carnal. It's of the flesh, not in
- 13:16the sense of sinful flesh, but just of this world.
- 13:23Does that make sense? That's what carnality is.
- 13:29Sourcing. So, I know one thing from all of my
- 13:33wife's study on food. That sourcing matters.
- 13:38Where you get things matter. Not all meat is
- 13:46created equal. Is that right? So there are places
- 13:54that if I report to her that I ate at, she is
- 14:00immediately thinking of the source of that food
- 14:05and what that is potentially doing in my body.
- 14:13She doesn't like any chemicals injected into
- 14:16meat. Sourcing matters. Where you get things
- 14:22from. She liked it that Steak and Shake just
- 14:26announced that all their meat comes from grass
- 14:29-fed beef. I like that too. I have permission
- 14:34now. Sourcing matters. Where you get something
- 14:47matters. And this whole verse, the weapons of
- 14:57our warfare are not carnal. It means their source
- 15:04is not of this world. Their source does not come
- 15:09from humanity. The source of these weapons is
- 15:14not your pastor. The source of these weapons
- 15:18is not how well we understand things in our own
- 15:23mind. The source of the weapons of our warfare,
- 15:29we're going to get to what they are in a moment.
- 15:32The first thing that Paul says here is that the
- 15:35source of these weapons does not come from man,
- 15:39but from God. They are sourced in heaven. And
- 15:46you as a believer, my friend, you have the opportunity
- 15:50to get resources that are beyond what you can
- 15:55see with your eyes. You have the ability to get
- 15:58resources that are beyond what you can buy at
- 16:02a store or are tangible with your hands. You
- 16:07have access to the heavens. Hallelujah. And that's
- 16:11good news. Every son and daughter, you have access
- 16:15to sourcing in heaven. Glory to God. Glory to
- 16:20God. You know what carnality produces? People
- 16:23think that these are in the Bible. God helps
- 16:28those who help themselves. Did you know that
- 16:32that is not a verse in the Bible? That comes
- 16:37from carnality. That comes from thinking, human
- 16:41thinking. God helps those who die to self and
- 16:48look to him and trust him. Amen? Here's one that
- 16:57Shakespeare wrote that people think is in the
- 17:01Bible. To thine own self be true. Have you ever
- 17:07heard that? Have you ever read a form of that
- 17:10on Facebook? I've just got to discover myself
- 17:14and be true to myself. And if you love somebody,
- 17:18you know, and they're going through a decision
- 17:20process and you tell them, just be true to yourself.
- 17:25That is not scriptural. It is not in the Bible.
- 17:31And so that comes from human carnality. That's
- 17:36where that comes from. Did you know who said
- 17:40this first? God hates sin but loves the sinner.
- 17:46Do you know who said that first? Gandhi. That
- 17:53is a statement that comes from Hinduism. That's
- 17:58interesting, isn't it? Some of those elements,
- 18:03how many of you know that God loves sinners?
- 18:06And God hates sin. But did you know that it's
- 18:11this kind of phraseology that makes people think
- 18:14that, well, God's going to forgive me no matter
- 18:17what I do. It is not the truth. There are people
- 18:22on judgment day that God is going to assign to
- 18:26darkness and utter hell. Carnality in the church.
- 18:38As long as we operate in carnality, all's we
- 18:41have is the best that man can come up with. But
- 18:46when we tap into the resources of heaven, then
- 18:51we rise way above. Why is that? Because God said,
- 18:56your thoughts are not my thoughts, nor mine yours.
- 19:00As the heavens are higher than the earth, so
- 19:04are my thoughts higher than your thoughts. Now
- 19:08the best ideas of man, do they compare with God?
- 19:16I want the resources of heaven. I want what God
- 19:21has for me. Hallelujah. I want to tap into his
- 19:26thinking. I want to tap into his solutions. I
- 19:30want to tap into what he has to say. Glory to
- 19:33God. When we operate in carnality, then we limit
- 19:38ourselves to our own solutions. We stay safe
- 19:42in our Christianity. We're predictable. We're
- 19:45sensible. But we are not following the Holy Spirit.
- 19:51The weapons of God are not sourced in human reasoning.
- 19:56They come from heaven. I want to give you, if
- 20:03I can, find this really quick. I want to give
- 20:06you something that I experienced through this
- 20:13vehicle situation. One of my Facebook friends
- 20:24recently posted this. Like a good neighbor, State
- 20:36Farm is deceptive, greedy, and truly only cares
- 20:39about making shareholders money. Well, you can
- 20:51imagine the comments. But that has not been true
- 20:59in my case. This was posted two weeks ago. The
- 21:06accident. And here was my reply. State Farm has
- 21:16paid me lots of money through the years. A new
- 21:21roof that got me out of debt. They cleaned up
- 21:27my yard after a tornado. Two different deer that
- 21:33they... rewarded me with accidents that I did
- 21:38not cause, that they have taken care of me. I
- 21:42have never had any issues with State Farm at
- 21:44all. I wrote that two weeks ago, and I hit this
- 21:54tire. And I turned to claim in, and as we were
- 22:01driving home, I said to Cammie, I really feel
- 22:06like the Lord's going to take care of us. I really
- 22:11feel like God's going to take care of us. And
- 22:16so I filed a claim. And I got the word back.
- 22:29That because the tire was on the ground and not
- 22:32in the air, your claim is denied. And so I still
- 22:43felt the peace of the Lord, but then when I got
- 22:46the letter from State Farm, it said, we have
- 22:50determined that you have caused this accident.
- 22:57That kind of shook me a little bit. And so I
- 23:01wrote an appeal. And I said, whether you cover
- 23:08the accident or not, you have accused me of causing
- 23:13this accident. And I am appealing. And then I
- 23:18finished the letter. Forgot about it. Last Wednesday,
- 23:24right before I went to the seniors meeting, I
- 23:27got a call from a young man at State Farm. And
- 23:32he said, you've appealed, and I'm the one that
- 23:34decides whether your appeal goes through or not.
- 23:38Tell me everything that happened. And I told
- 23:41him everything that happened exactly like it
- 23:44did. And he said, I'm going to call you back
- 23:47in five minutes with my decision. And I said,
- 23:50well, you better hurry because I got a seniors
- 23:52meeting that starts in seven minutes. He called
- 23:56me back and he said, sir, I have found, I have
- 24:02examined your policy. I have found in your policy
- 24:06that your vehicle is covered if a missile hits
- 24:08your vehicle. He said, I don't know if a tire
- 24:13is a missile or not, but we are going to cover
- 24:16your vehicle. As if this tire was a missile.
- 24:22And I want to say praise God for that. I want
- 24:27to say praise God for that. What does the Word
- 24:30of God say? Over and over and over again, the
- 24:36Word of God says, bless and do not curse. Bless.
- 24:47and do not curse. I had about five verses pulled
- 24:51up here that teach us to bless and do not curse.
- 24:57See, when all of this happened, it was later
- 24:59on, I was praying and I felt the Lord whisper
- 25:03to me that defense that I gave of State Farm.
- 25:09And you see, we're used to letting things fly
- 25:12out of our mouth, whatever we want to say. But
- 25:18that's not blessing. That is cursing. You want
- 25:24God to do great things through your life? You've
- 25:28got to use the weapons of our warfare that are
- 25:31not carnal, but are mighty in God. Your mouth
- 25:36is one of those weapons. One of the things that
- 25:39can work against you as a believer is that you're
- 25:42cursing everything. You're cursing everything
- 25:45all the time. You're more familiar with everything
- 25:48that's wrong. What's wrong with this? What's
- 25:51wrong with that? And really what it is is it's
- 25:55a complaining, grumbling spirit. But if we will
- 25:59use our mouth to bless instead of curse, God
- 26:04will open up doors. It will break down strongholds.
- 26:09It will move the hand of God in a situation.
- 26:16Because we bless. Because we do not curse. It
- 26:20got awful quiet in here. It got really quiet
- 26:24in here. Because we bless. God has called us
- 26:30to be a people in the earth. We are the salt
- 26:33of the earth. But your speech is no different
- 26:38than the people in your workplace. How are you
- 26:41going to be the salt of the earth? If you look
- 26:45the same as the people, if you walk the same,
- 26:48and if you talk the same, God will not use you
- 26:51in that. That's carnality. It's carnality. God
- 26:58is calling you to rise above carnality so that
- 27:05you can operate in the things of the Spirit.
- 27:08Hallelujah. Hallelujah. I feel the presence of
- 27:12the Lord in this this morning. We live in the
- 27:17world, but we do not war according to the world.
- 27:23The weapons of our warfare, they are not carnal,
- 27:28but they are mighty in God. Hallelujah. God loves
- 27:36you enough that he's given you access to heavenly
- 27:40sourcing. These weapons that we wage war with,
- 27:45they are sourced in heaven, and they have heavenly
- 27:51results. Jesus told us to pray, Lord, let your
- 27:55will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Hallelujah.
- 28:01That's Matthew 6 .10. The weapons of our warfare.
- 28:06What are these weapons? Well, Paul was referring
- 28:10specifically to the authority that he has in
- 28:14God. The authority that he had in his calling
- 28:18as an apostle. Everybody say the word authority.
- 28:24Now, there is positional authority that you do
- 28:28not have. This past week, my wife was elected
- 28:34as the assistant presbyter of our section. I
- 28:37passed the baton to her. I was the assistant.
- 28:39Now she's the assistant. Okay, so that is a position
- 28:44of authority in the section. It is positional
- 28:49authority. Paul had positional authority as an
- 28:53apostle. And so you have been given... If you're
- 28:58a mom or a dad, you have positional authority
- 29:01in your family, right? You have positional authority.
- 29:07If you are a business owner, you have positional
- 29:12authority, okay? So some of you are thinking
- 29:16about different roles in your life where God
- 29:19has given you authority. Paul was defending his
- 29:23authority as an apostle. But there is also an
- 29:27authority that comes as a believer that is not
- 29:32positional authority. It is spiritual kingdom
- 29:35authority that you have as a child of God. Hallelujah.
- 29:42You have authority that has been given to you
- 29:45as a child of the living God. Let me read one
- 29:50of them to you. Matthew 28, 19. the end of the
- 30:12age. I want to read Mark's version of that. Let
- 30:16me look that up in Mark chapter 16 because it
- 30:20really highlights our authority that we've been
- 30:23given in Christ even greater. He says this, Go
- 30:28into all the world, this is verse 15, and preach
- 30:32the gospel to every creature. He who believes
- 30:35and is baptized will be saved, but he who does
- 30:38not believe will be condemned. And these signs
- 30:41will follow those who believe. In my name they
- 30:45will cast out demons. They will speak with new
- 30:47tongues. They will take up deadly servants. If
- 30:50they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt
- 30:53them. They will lay hands on the sick, and they
- 30:56will recover. Hallelujah. Now this is your authority
- 31:03that God has given to you as a believer. Amen?
- 31:09It's a weapon of your warfare. I feel like this
- 31:14morning that we need to open up our hearts and
- 31:18receive the authority that God has given to us.
- 31:23Look at your neighbor and say, you have authority.
- 31:28Now look at your neighbor and say it one more
- 31:30time like you really mean it. You have authority.
- 31:38You have authority. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. When
- 31:44people come to me and they say, Pastor, I need
- 31:52healing. And I come to them and say, Oh, I just
- 31:58want you to know I understand what you're going
- 32:01through. I just want you to know that, you know,
- 32:07you're going to get through this. You know what
- 32:11I'm doing is I'm trying to empathize with them.
- 32:15And some people might appreciate that, but they
- 32:18didn't come to me for empathy. They came to me
- 32:23to find healing in Jesus' name. And so if I only
- 32:31console and if I only offer empathy and I never
- 32:39step into authority, I forfeit the weapons of
- 32:45our warfare. In the name of being a friend and
- 32:51somebody people like, but I'm not operating in
- 32:55authority. God has given us authority to operate
- 33:01in. Oh, this is a good word, friends. Matthew
- 33:05chapter 10. Let's go there. Matthew chapter 10.
- 33:09We're talking about the weapons of our warfare.
- 33:11And this is Jesus. And let's read verse 1. And
- 33:20when he had called his 12 disciples to him, he
- 33:24gave them power over unclean spirits to cast
- 33:27them out and to heal all kinds of sickness and
- 33:30all kinds of disease. And then you skip down
- 33:34to, he's telling them to go out. In verse 8,
- 33:37he just simply says, heal the sick, cleanse the
- 33:40lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely
- 33:43you have received, freely give. If a church would
- 33:49awaken with authority, we would no longer need
- 33:53advertising. You see, advertising is in the carnal
- 34:01realm. It doesn't mean it's not effective. It
- 34:04doesn't mean that we can't use it. God called
- 34:10them to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise
- 34:14the dead, cast out demons, freely you have received,
- 34:16freely give. What if the church awakens to its
- 34:19authority in the earth? What if the church starts
- 34:24using the weapons of our warfare that are not
- 34:29carnal but are mighty in God for the tearing
- 34:32down of strongholds? What if parents start using
- 34:37their authority in their homes? Not in an abusive
- 34:41way, but in a real genuine Christian way. When
- 34:46it comes to what they allow into their house.
- 34:51Are you just going to keep tolerating that sickness
- 34:54that just keeps coming and coming and coming
- 34:56and coming? Are you going to rise up in the authority
- 34:59that you have, Father? Mother? Jesus has given
- 35:06us authority, a weapon of our warfare. I'm going
- 35:12to stop right here. There are lots of other weapons
- 35:15of our warfare. But I'm going to stop right here
- 35:19because some of you are in situations where you
- 35:31need authority to come into your home. You need
- 35:35authority to come into your body. You need authority.
- 35:41You need the authority of God to be released
- 35:45into your situation. Jesus did it with the 12
- 35:49here. But then we just read Mark 16. He didn't
- 35:52just do it with the 12. He did it with every
- 35:54believer. He who believes. How many of you are
- 36:00ready to operate on a higher plane? Many of you
- 36:07are ready to tap in to your heavenly resource.
- 36:13Rise up. Rise up. It wasn't just Paul. It was
- 36:22every believer. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Heal
- 36:31the sick. Cleanse the lepers. Raise the dead.
- 36:34Cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely
- 36:38give. Now later on, I might revisit this and
- 36:42talk about more weapons of our warfare. But God
- 36:47has equipped you, son. God has equipped you,
- 36:52daughter. He has equipped you from heaven to
- 37:03be an overcomer. To be an overcomer. So we're
- 37:10going to stop right there. And I just want to
- 37:14ask the question this morning. How many of you
- 37:20in your life, in the lives of your friends, in
- 37:25the lives of the people that you know, need the
- 37:29God of victory to move and do something powerful?
- 37:33Come on. That's what we're believing for this
- 37:36morning. And Paul's word is that you have weapons
- 37:45of warfare that are not carnal but mighty in
- 37:50God. There are some things that God will do,
- 37:54but he's not going to do them until you operate
- 37:58in the authority that God has given you. I would
- 38:05say, There's been lots of times where I have
- 38:09missed it. Where I have not risen up to the occasion.
- 38:17And we repent of that in Jesus' name. But God
- 38:22lifts us up and calls us up to a new place. And
- 38:27says, come on. Come on. Step in. Step into what
- 38:33I have for you. Step into what I have for you.
- 38:37Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. If you raised
- 38:41your hand earlier, I want to ask you to just
- 38:46stand up where you are. You raised your hand
- 38:52earlier. You have a situation in your own family,
- 38:57in your own life. You need the authority of heaven.
- 39:01Hallelujah. Praise God. Praise God. Praise God.
- 39:07Praise God. Thank you, Father. Thank you, Father.
- 39:14We give you praise, Lord. Just right where you
- 39:19are, just if you need to close your eyes to help
- 39:23you, but just begin to talk to the Lord. Begin
- 39:27to say, God, don't let this verse just stay on
- 39:30a page, but let it be lived out in my life in
- 39:34Jesus' name. Have a conversation with the Lord
- 39:39right now in Jesus' name. Thank you, Father.
- 39:44Lord, we just ask you that your presence, God,
- 39:49will minister in Jesus' name. When you came to
- 39:53Gideon and you said, greetings, mighty warrior,
- 39:58He didn't feel like a warrior. There's people
- 40:02in this room that, like Gideon, don't feel like
- 40:04a warrior. But you are calling them to a higher
- 40:08place in you. In Jesus' name. Thank you, Father.
- 40:17Thank you, Father. Glory to God. We look to you
- 40:24right now. We look to you now, Lord Jesus. Hallelujah.
- 40:34We embrace the weapon of authority, not in an
- 40:41arrogant way, but humbly, genuinely, saying,
- 40:52God, thank you for the authority that you've
- 40:54given to us. In the name of Jesus, we receive
- 41:00that assignment and that calling. In just a moment,
- 41:09we're going to use this weapon of authority and
- 41:12we're going to speak to this mountain to be moved
- 41:15in Jesus' name. We're going to speak for this
- 41:19sickness to be healed in Jesus' name. We're going
- 41:24to use the weapon of authority in Jesus' name.
- 41:30Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Thank you,
- 41:37Father. Thank you, Father. We give you praise.
- 41:43We are not helpless and left alone. You've given
- 41:48us weapons and tools to fight with. In Jesus'
- 41:55name. God, I pray that Holy Spirit grit will
- 41:59rise up in people right now. I pray that faith
- 42:02will rise up in people right now in Jesus' name.
- 42:06And I want to ask God that as they speak to this
- 42:09mountain that they're standing up facing, that
- 42:12speak to this giant like David did. David tapped
- 42:16into heavenly resources when he spoke to Goliath.
- 42:20I thank you for that, God. I thank You for that,
- 42:24God. We tap in right now. And we speak to this
- 42:29giant with the authority that You've given to
- 42:33us. In Jesus' name.
