- Mark Hayes (00:00.854) All right, ladies and gentlemen, welcome back. Another exciting edition of Two Men in Black and White, an honest conversation. In the words of Jada Kiss, we still outside. I love those lyrics from Jada Kiss. And I'm telling you what, the whole narrative has changed. The whole discussion has changed because everyone, get this, everyone in America actually wants to be happy. They would rather be happy. than be disgusted, divided, and at each other's throats. Let's start with the news. In the news! The Iran deal, it's off, it's on, it's off, it's on. Let's play it's off, it's on, Brock. Which is it? Or door number one, it's off. Door number two, it's on. Door number three, it's all bullshit. What say you, my friend? Brock Ganeles (00:53.262) I'm clearly in door number three. The entire thing has been a farce. I feel like it was slapped together a one page document d you know, on on the back of a napkin to end a war with a thousand contingencies, just so Trump could get through his G seven meetings and not look like a total fucking ignoramus. But it was all a fraud. Israel was still bombing Lebanon through the whole thing. The strait was never open. There was Mark Hayes (00:56.16) Yeah. Mark Hayes (01:05.034) you Mark Hayes (01:16.117) Right. Sure. Brock Ganeles (01:22.562) The uranium deal w did did it have to stop the nuclear program or not. We never knew. Whenever there's a piece of paper that they don't want to show anybody, like the Epstein files, it just means what's inside is is ugly. And what was inside this supposed Iran deal was just vaporware. This is this was all bullshit and propaganda and there is no deal and we have nothing going on and neither side trusts each other, nor should they, because Mark Hayes (01:43.178) You're right. Mark Hayes (01:51.764) Bye. Brock Ganeles (01:52.662) Neither side's leaders are trustworthy. So it's just gonna r it's just rolling on, gathering moss, getting dust and cobwebs of the w of a war that we still don't know why we ever got into it, what we're supposed to try to get out of it. And are we paying them like three hundred billion dollars and all the other Gulf states are kicking in also? Or is that also total Mark Hayes (01:55.317) Right. Mark Hayes (02:03.242) Thank Mark Hayes (02:07.636) Right. Mark Hayes (02:15.68) Yeah. Brock Ganeles (02:21.035) That was like is that bullshit or is that something we don't want to admit to because Vance says we are and Trump says we're not? And like, come on. Liars poker. Mark Hayes (02:29.16) Hey, JD Vance was actually trying to sell us on the fact that President Obama gave Iran 1.7 billion taxpayer dollars. No, Fico, we can all read the newspaper. It was their money. It was their money that had been sitting in forfeiture because of the sanctions that had been put on the Iranian state. I mean, does he think we're that dumb? Does he think he Brock Ganeles (02:41.363) Mm-hmm. I know. Okay. Brock Ganeles (02:57.567) Lock up Yeah. He does yeah yeah he does 'cause he's talking to a smaller and smaller sliver of America and they think MAGA th the MAGA elites think they can sell their people anything. Mark Hayes (02:58.418) what's going on. Mark Hayes (03:04.576) Right. Mark Hayes (03:13.32) Right. Right. And they have! They have! Brock Ganeles (03:15.425) Well they have 'cause and and that's why they believe they can. It because it's it works. Thankfully, seventy percent of America's not even listening anymore. We're outside. Mark Hayes (03:29.61) that part, we outside with Jadakiss, with Ja Rule, with Mayor Mondani. Hey, my mayor is still Muslim. My bagels are still Jewish. Christian is still Dior. Nix would have been in for had Trump not showed up. But nonetheless, Carolina, another location of a great parade. And how many people came? I didn't even know there was that many people in the state of North Carolina. I mean, look at that. And they've won before Brock in recent memory. I mean, this is what flashed in the pan for Carolina. Brock Ganeles (04:02.933) Every Everyone wants the feeling. They watched New York just absolutely celebrate life for two, three weeks. Really, it was a full 10-week commitment, but at least the last two, three weeks, the whole nation started to focus on New York. And certainly since the championship, just the love and togetherness. And I feel like it's a little bit, I'm gonna date myself. It's got a little of that Harry Met Sally feel. Mark Hayes (04:33.812) Hahaha! Brock Ganeles (04:33.889) That famous scene in the deli where Meg Ryan fakes the orgasm and the other patron goes, I want to have what she's having. And I feel like the rest of America looked at New York and said, I want to have what America's having. So Carolina's hockey team has a huge parade. And then by some fantastic stroke of fortune, just as the Knicks lit this fire. Mark Hayes (04:39.254) You What's happening? Mark Hayes (04:50.026) Yep. Brock Ganeles (05:02.217) In the largest multicultural city in this country. The World Cup was just getting started, and all these foreigners were coming to America and coming with their passion for their football teams, but really for their country and their passion for each other. And and their open arms to be met with open arms and the American people. Mark Hayes (05:03.615) Crazy! Brock Ganeles (05:30.904) Have fucking answered the bell. Absolutely. It the World Cup is an absolute love fest. And it's changed the entire narrative on America. And I think has rebuilt the American brand tarnished by Trump. And once again, he's he's dealing with his fucking bullshit in Iran. And no one is fucking even no one in America's even fucking paying attention. Mark Hayes (05:32.821) The best. You Mark Hayes (05:54.191) Right. Brock Ganeles (05:59.362) He can't even like I I'm surprised he barely even makes the news right now. The story the story what's going on America is so big that Trump is just sh he is just shrinking in front of our eyes and I can't find MAGA. I can't find MAGA. You see any have you seen a MAGA hat at anything World Cup related? Anyone got one of those fucking clan hats on? Mark Hayes (06:02.986) True. Mark Hayes (06:11.38) Yeah. Mark Hayes (06:16.627) anywhere. Mark Hayes (06:24.592) Nope. look, and Brock, look how people are embracing the rest of the world here in America. It's almost like, hey, we're glad you're here. We just wanted to let you know, we don't think like those fucking nuts with those funny hats on and that moron that stole his way to the Oval Office. Yeah, yeah, that place where Barack Obama used to sit. Yeah, the guy that's in there now, we don't know that fucking guy. We don't even know how he got there. That's almost like what it feels like people are saying. Because, Brock, if you look at the weekend, don't forget this other piece that happened, the sheer opposition to Trump and his ilk and that fucking fiasco in Iran is the opening of the Obama presidential library with all the fanfare. We're Angela Merkel, Justin Trudeau, Bill and Hillary. Right? Dubya and Laura, Everybody, Kamala and Doug and all, like everybody wanted to be a part of it. Common was there performing. I mean, it was a love fest. There is a section of the Obama Library dedicated to, Brock, what have we been talking about? A more inclusive America. A section of the library. dedicated to that multicultural, multi-ethnic, know, multi-racial society that we've been talking about for more than 18 months now. And go ahead. Brock Ganeles (08:03.165) I said I thought we were gonna ruin the World Cup. We tried to. We didn't let some people in. We turned away some referees. There's still some people pissed who couldn't get visas, who got screwed on tickets. But a lot of people got in, and America immediately openly embraced them and has just ridden the coattails of their joy. They're so happy to be here. It's a World Cup. They're here for fun. They're Mark Hayes (08:10.207) EEEEH Mark Hayes (08:16.661) Yeah. Brock Ganeles (08:32.627) many of them visiting America for the first time. And just get on Instagram and get yourself onto a feed that starts flowing the foreign international visitors in America talking about our country and what a great time they're having here in America. And all the things they're reminding of us that are so great. I mean, you got the one guy who went viral because he was tweet he was tweeting out about Mark Hayes (08:41.984) Thank you. Mark Hayes (08:52.17) No. Brock Ganeles (09:01.959) Loving Waffle House at 1 a.m. in the morning. Like, what's more American than that? And the barbecue and the and Trader Joe's and fucking Walmart. Like they're just the things that they're like, the breakfast burritos. Like the things that they're just kind of finding out about America and laughing at us along the way, but laughing with us. And like, wow, I saw a guy's fe post who said like Mark Hayes (09:03.446) you Mark Hayes (09:25.844) Yup. Brock Ganeles (09:30.503) I feel like I've been sold a bill of goods my whole life. I was told how crass and angry Americans are and unfriendly Americans are and I'm here for the first time and that's not even close to what I'm getting. Mark Hayes (09:46.642) Right. Right. Brock Ganeles (09:48.386) We're talking about na New York to Houston to LA to Seattle to Atlanta. They're going down to Miami and then of all places, fucking Kansas City, Kansas, which somehow has embraced the Argentinian Algerian fans as is their comrades. Kansas, which probably hasn't had a democratic fucking governor in our lifetimes, or certain right, like Red Fucking America is somehow in love with the Algerians? Mark Hayes (10:00.082) Yeah. Mark Hayes (10:04.278) Mark Hayes (10:11.676) Right. Right. Mark Hayes (10:19.072) crazy, right? Brock Ganeles (10:19.245) How the fuck is that? How is that? Where the fuck is ice? Right? Ice is nowhere to be seen. Ice showed up, they'd fucking get stampeded. They're embarrassed with their little masks. They're nowhere to be fucking found. The the joy has overwhelmed the worst of us. Mark Hayes (10:27.902) Yup. Yup. Mark Hayes (10:35.508) Yeah, and we really now, understand how few of the worst of us there really are, right? Because our TV screens are telling, our lion eyes are not deceiving us, right? We are actually seeing, you know, Trump come apart at the seams because he doesn't know what the fuck he's doing. He doesn't have anyone around him who knows what the fuck they're doing. And Americans have chosen the simpler, much more joyous path one of love and embrace and humanity and you know what and look it's all come through sport. Soccer the world's most popular game hockey. North America's you know darling of a game you know in a city that's not used to hockey being the number you know because in the south it's football baseball basketball right and hockey's a distant fifth. Brock Ganeles (11:30.37) Red stick. Mark Hayes (11:34.687) Right. And we don't know what's forth. And then you look at what happened with the Knicks and there are still stories coming from the Knicks parade. How about the guy that almost died and woke up trying to kiss the lady who revived him? Right. Like, I mean, there are so many stories. Wait till 10 months from now. How many babies are going to be named OG Ananomi Smith? Jalen Brunson Jenkins. Brock Ganeles (12:02.861) Mark, I got up. I I'm up scrolling my feed like all night every night now just watching joyful videos. But I got up the other day and my wife was like thought I was cranky in the morning. She's are she's like you in a bad mood? I'm like, bad mood? What are you talking about? I'm a Knicks fan. I Mark Hayes (12:04.566) Thank you. Mark Hayes (12:17.462) You Brock Ganeles (12:20.717) I can't even envision the next bad mood I'm ever gonna be in. Like I can't I can't even picture not just being excited and elated, ready to meet the next day. I'm just in a perpetual good mood. And I think it's starting to take over America. I mean, the fact the videos of the streets of Seattle and tens 10,000 or so people singing Don't Stop Believing Together after the USA game yesterday, the Mark Hayes (12:23.926) I'm gonna be in the right... Mark Hayes (12:49.939) USA's on a roll, Brock Ganeles (12:51.053) The stadium singing country road, take me home, West Virginia in unison in the arena, right after the team won. It's like, wow, that's the America I want to be a part of. That's the America that's r singing for their team, that's got like the black guys and the Puerto Rican guys and the this guy, the most multicultural team we've ever had. Mark Hayes (12:55.83) Yeah. Mark Hayes (13:02.996) Yep. Mark Hayes (13:18.004) Right, right, brah. Brock Ganeles (13:19.541) And the fans don't care, they're Americans, they're us, that's our team. Mark Hayes (13:22.952) Right. Brock, who cared? Who chooses suffering as opposed to joy? Who in their right mind? Besides Trump and his ilk. Brock Ganeles (13:35.063) Yeah, but he's choosing really the hate, right? Well leading with the hate. Like, we hate the Haitians, Haitian teams in the World Cup, right? They did get smoked. But like, okay, we we don't want their fans here. We don't want those people here. They're from a shithole country. I mean, they're just people, like, they're just people trying to enjoy their life. And it's Mark Hayes (13:37.194) Yeah. Yep. Mark Hayes (13:52.215) Right. Hey, and no one has said to them, why are you here? You're from a shithole country. No one has said that to the Haitians. Yeah. Awesome. Good luck to you. Brock Ganeles (14:03.285) No, people are like, it's great to have you here. We love you. I t the the res the response the response for the Iranian team has been tremendous out in LA. Now it's conflicting for the actual Iranian Americans because they don't know like if they root for the team, are they rooting for that government, rooting for the players? So they're actually conflicted, but actually other Americans aren't conflicted at all. They're like welcoming the Iranian team, rooting for the Iranian team, wanting them all to have a great experience and saying, look, we don't blame Mark Hayes (14:25.235) right Mark Hayes (14:32.181) Yeah. Brock Ganeles (14:33.289) You we understand what it's like to have a shitty government. That doesn't mean it's a reflection of you guys as players and you as fans. We want you guys to enjoy the experience here. Such a good feel, good moment in America. I hope this way we can ride this wave for at least the 30 plus more days of World Cup. Because I don't think you know my take on this. I don't think people are gonna be willing to. Mark Hayes (14:37.769) Right. Yeah. Mark Hayes (14:45.771) Bye. Brock Ganeles (14:59.969) to walk backwards from this feeling. It's too powerful. Mark Hayes (15:02.844) No, ain't no way bro. We're not going back. Remember that? We're not doing it. We're not doing it. I enjoyed watching Mike Brown and Alvarado jump up and down in each other's arms and pour drinks into the mouths of the fans to ever go back to wondering what's waiting for me outside. I'm gonna go outside and feel joy. and be excited and not look for a fight because that's that's all MAGA is bro looking for fights right who can we fight with next who can we pick a fight with and they think they're bullies and they're not they're not once you see how things change when people started fighting back but nobody wants to fight brock people want to embrace and love each other you know everyone always talks about how rude new yorkers are this parade proves the absolute opposite. How amazing New Yorkers are and how much New Yorkers love each other and will love you when you root for us. Right? And this is not about coming together against, you know, some unseen, you know, Osama bin Laden force. This is coming together for a purpose, for a reason, for a good one. And to get two and a half, two million people, whatever the number was, I don't give a shit. I mean, there's a shot, Brock, where you can see nothing but New Yorkers straight down the street from glass to glass on both sides of the street. Brock Ganeles (16:48.193) Yeah. And there were millions that couldn't get in. There were millions that wanted to be there, but the streets weren't big enough and just they had to go to like a bar or go back home and and watch it. But everyone either watched it or attended. But just the handoff from the Knicks to the World Cup is just so incredible. What's going on in Boston with the with the Tartan Army and the fact that the the the Asian woman mayor of Boston is like creating like cross cultural, you know Mark Hayes (16:53.813) Right here. Mark Hayes (17:05.717) Yup. And Garby. Brock Ganeles (17:17.993) alliance with the with the government of Scotland because they're so enjoying each other as people. The Bostonians and the Scottish people are Like as one and having the time with their lives, even though this this Scotland people are like waking them up at 6 a.m. with their bagpipes, and like the Bostonians are like, like, all right, we're gonna roll with this. Not to mention the economic boom it's giving, right? That's just a side leg because everyone's spending money because they're partying, eating, drinking their asses off. But that's like so secondary to what is going on culturally and at a human connection level. Mark Hayes (17:39.305) Yes! Mark Hayes (17:43.04) You're right. Mark Hayes (17:50.42) Round the clock. Brock Ganeles (17:58.678) I keep talking about I want the politicians to pick up the ball here and start talking about our country that way. You can't help but watch these games, Mark, and you see multicultural teams everywhere. Even like the countries that I'm like, what? There's fucking black guys in Sweden? Like, who the fuck knew, right? Like, the the Netherlands? Like half the team like the all the teams are multiracial. It just shows how the world has has just kind of merged together. Mark Hayes (18:09.782) Yeah. Mark Hayes (18:13.28) Yeah? Yeah. Brock Ganeles (18:28.591) American team is an i once again, as were the Knicks, an incredible version of America's multiculturalism. And like, does anyone s care who scores the goals? No one fucking cares who scores the goals. Mark Hayes (18:34.292) Can we armor it? Yep. Mark Hayes (18:40.949) Nope. No. And you know what I saw Brock? Yesterday I was thumbing around and I was looking for the pit actually. Cause you had told me a couple of months ago that I needed to watch. I was looking for it and I stumbled across basically the hard knocks for the USA soccer team. So I'm going to start watching that. I guess the first episode is out already. So they're following them through the world cup. Brock Ganeles (19:03.371) Ooh. Mark Hayes (19:10.974) And I can't wait to start watching it because I don't really know, you know, So this is going to help me get to know them, help me get excited about them. And and Brock, once again, we don't have to feel shame about being Americans. Right. We've we've we've been subjected to this international embarrassment for so long, which made us feel kind of bad. I mean, I kind of felt bad about myself being American. And this is what we're putting up. Brock Ganeles (19:14.327) Players that well, right? Mark Hayes (19:39.794) On the world stage! Yes! Brock Ganeles (19:40.002) Yeah, you felt like we had to apologize. I you know I run a travel oriented industry and I'm so I'm dealing with foreign visitors all the time and I go and I join our tours. I'm like I I I have to start by like alm apologizing for what Trump what we've allowed Trump to do to the world and the damage that he's we've allowed him to do by giving him the keys to the most powerful country and military in the world. And and the dollars that we used to give in aid that he Mark Hayes (19:54.166) You Mark Hayes (20:03.414) in the next. Mark Hayes (20:07.35) first. Brock Ganeles (20:09.935) We allowed him to pull back. We allowed that. I feel like America's taking it taking its country back at this point. And I think it's gonna follow through to what it expects from its leaders. And because if Kansas City is embracing a multicultural America and a multicultural world, and Houston, Texas. Mark Hayes (20:12.809) Right. Mark Hayes (20:22.877) Right. Brock Ganeles (20:34.419) is welcoming people in and these farm people eating barbecue for the first time and it's like we know that feeling. God damn damn right you ain't gonna enjoy that fucking huge you know rack of ribs. They're also you know like just the world is like they're falling in love with us. Like they're they're they're they just can't believe like how amazing our stadiums are. Mark Hayes (20:39.134) and loving it. Mark Hayes (20:44.692) Hehehehehe Mark Hayes (20:55.602) Right, right? Brock Ganeles (20:56.331) Like facilities, like you guys live in they these they're like you we live in opulence here. Like they might have one stadium like that in their whole country and you're they're like you guys have like a bunch of these in each city. You fill these things up on like a f Friday night for college football, seventy, eighty thousand people. They're just amazed by they're amazed by America for the first for the first timers of of of the richness that we have that sadly we are willing to squander. Mark Hayes (21:01.461) Yeah. Mark Hayes (21:08.382) Right! Mark Hayes (21:14.485) that. Mark Hayes (21:23.018) Yes. Brock Ganeles (21:26.255) And take for granted and not acknowledge how we got to this point of prominence. That it took all of us. That we have this small sliver that just thinks it's theirs and that they did all this shit and that they're the ones that should reap all the benefits. And they're just fucking wrong. And I think America's not Mark Hayes (21:29.43) Yeah. Mark Hayes (21:34.783) Right. Mark Hayes (21:45.781) Right. Right. Brock Ganeles (21:51.372) Waking up to it, but waking up to the sense that they can fight back against it because it's so much fun to be out there and be in the mix and we're individually one by one taking ownership again of our own country and our own culture. Mark Hayes (21:58.101) Yes. Mark Hayes (22:03.915) Yep. Mark Hayes (22:07.764) Yep. Brock, Brock, think about it. Yesterday was Juneteenth. Celebrations all throughout New York City that seemed to just spill over from the parade. Up in Harlem, I mean, there were parties all night long along the riverfront with people with, I mean, just hashtag Juneteenth, NYC. and look at the faces. Look at the faces of people out in the street, listening to music, embracing, hugging one another. we had, Brock, it's almost like COVID just ended and we just got outside for the first time. Brock Ganeles (22:51.329) Mark, there's almost like no policing going on. Mark Hayes (22:53.686) You don't need it. Brock Ganeles (22:55.841) Don't need it. They don't want to fuck with the joy. Yeah, in Boston they're playing soccer with these guys walking around town. Like n you don't need it. No one wants to fuck with the joy. And the backlash that they would get, like the police don't even want it. Like they they i it there's you know like you yeah, I think you just hit it. You don't need it when everyone's happy and joyful. No one's doing shit wrong. No one wants to fuck up the vibe. Mark Hayes (23:04.522) Nope. Mark Hayes (23:11.67) Right? Mark Hayes (23:19.252) Right? Mark Hayes (23:22.708) Why would I? Right? And miss out on the fun because I'm stuck in the clink. When everybody, like we almost have FOMO, bro. Like nobody wants to miss out on anything. Nobody wants to miss a moment of the joy and happiness that we refound, right? That used to come around every now and then, right? And now it's overwhelmed us because we have been, We have been in an 11 year funk since that fucker came down that escalator. In 2015, this country has had a, you said it perfectly the other day, we've had a black cloud hanging over us. And now we finally figured out that the way to fight this fucker back is to smile in his face and have fun any fucking way. He hates it. He hates. that we're loving life. I guarantee you he shit himself two or three extra times when he looked at the television and saw nothing but throngs of New Yorkers having the time of their lives. And there's Brock Ganeles (24:37.813) Yeah, and listening to listening to Mayor Mandani, not him. I mean the it's just he's just being overwhelmed and he's just shrinking. He doesn't matter. Mark Hayes (24:41.95) Yes! Brock Ganeles (24:52.105) anymore. He so dictated American society through the hate and ice and making us fight for everything. Politically things are still being taken away. Nothing has changed politically in the last thirty days. But everything has changed culturally. The the leadership in America is way behind the curve. They I don't think they Mark Hayes (24:56.075) Yep. Mark Hayes (25:04.34) Right. Right. Brock Ganeles (25:16.393) recognize it because they live in a little bit of a political bubble and maybe that's good. Let them fight their own fight battles. I don't think they've caught up to where America is yet. But we got 30 more days of World Cup. And this wave is so big they can't miss it. It's a you won't be able to miss it. You can't miss it 'cause it's everywhere through just about every one and the and the and the feel good is too strong. Mark Hayes (25:35.178) Right. Brock Ganeles (25:46.841) And we kept wondering where the young people were. Mark Hayes (25:51.678) Right. Found him! Brock Ganeles (25:53.473) Found them. Found They're all fucking outside. Mark Hayes (25:56.919) Right found them And and and look at how much joy is on we haven't seen young people smiling bro. Think about it They got nothing to fucking smile about You know fucking seven hundred thousand dollar homes while they're you know getting started They're not even getting career starters. They're getting jobs. They're not getting careers. They're not starting their careers They're in the gig economy They're going back home after college. That doesn't make you fucking smile. I know I didn't smile when I had to do it. And now, I mean, I heard Dr. Jason Johnson yesterday talking about how horrible the economy was where he's talking to his colleagues, friends and peers who are saying they've been working since their teen years and haven't been out of work this long. Six, eight. Nine months. know, and you know who a lot of them are? Us. Black and brown folk. Especially black women. But you know what? At least for now, we're gonna party like it's 1999 all over again. And forget what, we're gonna find a way. We're gonna find a way, just like the Knicks, that .4 % Is what we're all gonna have to reach back and find that is one of the greatest fucking speeches that's ever been given in a sports realm in the history of our country I I was sucked into that. I watched it probably three or four times brah Fantastic Brock Ganeles (27:39.395) Yeah. Fantastic. And fan I mean he's talking about New Yorkers, but like everyone in America wants to wants to latch onto that feeling. That all they need is an opportunity. And even if the odds are against them, right? It's who America thinks of themselves as. And he and he hit on that. What this is why and he's a young guy. It's time for the youth movement. Mark Hayes (28:04.64) to move on, yep, and get it going. Brock Ganeles (28:06.242) And we're just gonna see if the media shifts because, you know, they wanna go where the eyeballs are and they think like reporting on Trump's, you know, hate speeches and you know, Twitter bile is like where the action is. Trump said something nasty about Jamie Raskin. It's like America does not give a flying fuck about that anymore. We just don't. Like, hard stop, right? People are on social media watching each other and watching the joyful scenes and entertaining each Mark Hayes (28:26.902) Hmm. Brock Ganeles (28:36.026) Each other outside the realm of mainstream media because that's where the action is, that's where the fun is. And I think that's where the leadership is gonna keep coming from or will come from eventually, is from the streets and from our feeds. Because it is it's inspiring more than real life, but people are out there, right? It's not feeds of people. Mark Hayes (28:43.978) Yup. Mark Hayes (28:55.998) Yup. Brock Ganeles (29:04.416) sitting inside, right? People want to be amongst each other. They're coming with like great attitudes and how they approach each other. And it's contagious. Mark Hayes (29:15.422) Yes, that's the thing. It really is contagious. I love the skits. Have you seen any of the skits of the women pretending to tell their husbands they can't go to the parade? Brock Ganeles (29:27.406) I've seen some of those. I've seen some also of some of the women saying now, okay. He got everything he needed. You did your job. You didn't now you can start asking for some things Brock Ganeles (29:47.271) it's it's there's so much good shit out there. I was just even thinking like there's so many funny, talented people in America and like they're they're they're putting out some of the greatest content. Mark Hayes (29:54.42) Lone look out, yes. Brock Ganeles (29:57.707) in in the world. Like I'm gonna be addicted to this World Cup content because now this is coming from people all over the world and they're so fucking funny. And l and listening to them talk about America and Americans is so entertaining. So entertaining. While they kinda hijack our country and teach us about, you know, camaraderie and togetherness, but right at a time when we are ready for it. Like it was absolutely perfect. It's like they came to knock on the door just as we were opening it. And it just was that perfect time Mark Hayes (29:57.76) Yeah. Mark Hayes (30:08.168) Yup. my god, Mark Hayes (30:20.252) Right. Perfect timing. Yep. Brock Ganeles (30:27.6) of when humanity can make a change and it just feels like everyone was ready for it. Mark Hayes (30:34.174) Yep. All right, give me a quick hit so we can get out of here. Brock Ganeles (30:36.206) I got a couple, I got a couple. One, I'll start in the negative. You see that the Itali Italian prime minister is now refusing to come to the US? Cause at the G and she was like his favorite, the young woman, I think it's named Maloney. Yeah, because Trump said that at the G7 she was begging him for a photo. She's like, what the fuck's he talking about? Fucking liar. And now she canceled her trip to the US. So yeah, that's just another place where people are just like sick and tired of Trump's bullshit. Mark Hayes (30:43.465) No way! Mark Hayes (30:49.622) I'll go and remember it. Mark Hayes (31:05.756) Right, right, right. Yeah, yeah, definitely. Okay, so apparently a playlist has come out of the all-time NYC anthems. The Surge After the Nick Title. So we got Sky Zoo, Blue and Orange Everything. Jesse Itzler, Go New York Go from 2012 Anniversary. New York from Fat Joe and Ja Rule, Jadakiss. Brock Ganeles (31:06.626) You got one for me, I got one more. Mark Hayes (31:34.113) Then you got welcome to New York from Dip Set, Camron, Jay-Z, Juel Santana, Frank Sinatra, NYNY are the top five. So I mean, just you got five bangers right there. They got a whole list on Instagram. mean, Ja Rule, Ja Rule hasn't had a hit in a month of Sundays. And now he's back eating again. He was in the parade. Brock Ganeles (32:00.045) Yeah. Yeah. I gotta I gotta go see that list. I wanna see if I agree with that list. you got Billy Joel New York State of Mind and I mean that's that's that's a classic one. Mark Hayes (32:04.33) Yeah! Mark Hayes (32:08.49) yeah, Billy Joel's on there. They got like 20 songs on the list. Yeah. I would have hated to put out the, I wouldn't have wanted to put a number next to it. You know? Brock Ganeles (32:18.434) On tough. Yeah. And who gets cut? Mark Hayes (32:21.874) right right how do you say the top 20 of any of those songs i mean my god yes everybody's banging right now all of those songs Brock Ganeles (32:27.246) It's gonna help their screaming though. Yeah, it's gonna help people screaming. Brock Ganeles (32:34.53) Well, Mar, yeah, I I just this isn't even a quick hit, but just a quick aside, like I'm going to New York City on Tuesday. Mark Hayes (32:41.003) Haha. Brock Ganeles (32:41.684) I haven't been in the city since all this shit went down. Right? I was in the South and now I'm home in the country. I'm gonna be in the city on Tuesday and I can't fucking wait. And I've told like my business partner, I said, I'm going to fucking Times Square. And we always talk like you don't go you avoid Times Square like a plague when you're a New Yorker. Like I'm going to Times Square. I wanna see what team is there. Is Brazil gonna be there? Like who's gonna be doing a Times Square takeover that I'm just gonna wanna experience and be a part of? Mark Hayes (32:45.171) yes. Mark Hayes (33:09.301) Bye. Brock Ganeles (33:11.568) And then I'm definitely going to watch a game wherever the fuck I gotta look at the schedule. I just wanna be in the vibe. I just want the energy. And I literally, I absolutely can't wait to go down to the city on Tuesday. But my last quick hit of the day is like a side note of maybe a perfect timing also for a movie. Is this Toy Story 5? Mark Hayes (33:18.218) Right. Right. Mark Hayes (33:30.793) Uh-uh. Mark Hayes (33:36.392) my grandbaby went to see it yesterday. Brock Ganeles (33:40.023) The numbers are off the are fucking huge. The box office is huge. I don't know if you've seen it. I just read about the themes of the movie. And I I think I saw Toy Story One and I didn't see the other three. Right? Well, why the fuck would I watch them? But Toy Story Five is kind of about the kid who the old toys. The physical toys. Mark Hayes (33:42.474) Yeah. I have it. Mark Hayes (33:53.76) Yeah. Mark Hayes (34:02.911) Yeah. Brock Ganeles (34:03.362) Losing the kids attention to the iPad and the video games and it's all theme about Mark Hayes (34:07.348) No... No! Brock Ganeles (34:12.226) The eyeballs going away and how they feel abandoned and left behind, right? It's a great metaphor for society, right? It's a good storyline and a smart idea for a movie. I don't know the movie and how it plays, but I do know that they went to Taylor Swift and they had her watch she watched the movie and she wrote the theme song. Which I've listened to today, and I think it's the number one hit in the country already. And it's just like Mark Hayes (34:17.621) No. Mark Hayes (34:38.463) Okay. Brock Ganeles (34:41.172) I knew it, I knew you. And that was the theme. And it's about like knowing someone earlier in life and they go away from you, but knowing that you know them and they're gonna come back to you someday. So it's like a heartwarming, like it's just once again in this pylon of good feelings in America. I think this movie is kinda Mark Hayes (34:43.636) No! Mark Hayes (34:54.932) Wow. Brock Ganeles (35:06.15) I I'm curious to see if you asked your grandchild what it what he or she thought of it. I think this movie also is hitting on all those themes that everyone wants to be talking and thinking about. And I think it's a real you know, just from what I've read, like a feel good, perfect timing, more good shit, more stuff to you know, good messages to plow into the American people. Mark Hayes (35:06.603) Thanks. Mark Hayes (35:20.34) Right. Mark Hayes (35:29.618) Right, right. That's awesome. Yeah, I can't wait. I can't wait to see my grand. I know she watches the Toy Story movies all day every day. So I know she loved it. And I saw her walking into the theater. Her mom posted a picture. So, yeah, I know she loved it. And I can't wait to see it. See the movie myself. You know, see about these themes. So, you know, again, very timely. Brock Ganeles (35:55.686) Yeah, it's just we're we're stacking like we're just stacking good mojo on on top of each other. Right. Just it's just it just keeps coming and keeps coming. And if this US men's soccer team keeps winning a couple more games Mark Hayes (36:01.662) Right. And capo. Right. Mark Hayes (36:11.35) Should catch fire. Brock Ganeles (36:15.586) They're all gonna be household names because America's looking for something to really galvanize around and they're right here right now and they seem to be pretty good. And won't that be a phenomenal, unbelievable, galvanizing event in a sport that's like so secondary for us here that the women are always great at and the men never fucking get anywhere? Mark Hayes (36:26.154) Yep. Brock Ganeles (36:43.328) you know, now that's on our home turf, I mean we we're we're sitting on the precipice of like a big, big one. If they they can put toget string together a couple of wins. Mark Hayes (36:49.268) Yeah, man. Mark Hayes (36:53.428) Yeah, that's definitely hope they can pull it off man, you know reason to cheer for the USA again again So yeah great place to wrap it up bro Revolution Yes, it is It will be televised. All right, my friend. See you soon these Brock Ganeles (37:04.63) All right, good stuff, Mark. Always a pleasure. The revolution's in motion. Brock Ganeles (37:13.558) Alright.
