- 0:02Speaker0: Hello, everyone. Welcome back to Eye Opener Society.
- 0:05Speaker0: I'm so happy to have everybody back and joining in because once again,
- 0:10Speaker0: you, the audience, are the ones that make this show so wonderful.
- 0:16Speaker0: Not just the wonderful people that I have on Eye Opener Society,
- 0:19Speaker0: but you guys that are tuning in, listening, downloading, and all of that.
- 0:22Speaker0: It is so, so appreciated.
- 0:25Speaker0: And you don't know how much that means to us here at Eye Opener Society.
- 0:28Speaker0: And we've got so much that's going on. And we got so many new voices.
- 0:34Speaker0: We have so many new podcasts.
- 0:36Speaker0: And I'm just going to run through real quick. We still have Sunset Childs Out There podcast.
- 0:41Speaker0: We have Anne Lund's Haunted and Waiting, Elaine's Arcane Oracle.
- 0:47Speaker0: And now we have The Sound Within with our host today.
- 0:53Speaker0: And we now also have The other Hannah, the OG Hannah from the old days,
- 0:59Speaker0: from when I used to record my stepdaughter, Hannah, she now has Hannah's unrealistic desire.
- 1:06Speaker0: She broke off and done her own podcast, which I've been waiting for for so long.
- 1:10Speaker0: Plus, I got stuff ready for some other people. And so this is just going to keep expanding.
- 1:17Speaker0: So the new favorite of mine, The Sound Within, comes from wonderful soul,
- 1:23Speaker0: Hannah Rose. Hannah Rose, how are you doing?
- 1:27Speaker1: I'm good. I'm glad to be back on Eye Opener Society.
- 1:31Speaker1: And I'm excited to chat a little bit about what's been going on in my world.
- 1:37Speaker0: That's great. Yeah, I really like the glimpse that we have into your world on The Sound Within.
- 1:45Speaker0: And it's a beautiful thing to sit and listen to your voice and to hear what
- 1:51Speaker0: you have to say, just as well as your TikTok lives when you're actually doing
- 1:56Speaker0: your breathing sessions and the sound. It's great.
- 1:59Speaker0: So like I told the audience when we recorded with Lizzie, you're also going to be a co-host as well.
- 2:08Speaker0: This way, the audience gets to hear you, gets to hear Lizzie,
- 2:11Speaker0: gets to hear a little bit more from different perspectives. And I'm very happy
- 2:15Speaker0: to have you hosting with me today.
- 2:17Speaker0: So let everybody know what's on your mind.
- 2:21Speaker1: Well, I feel like a big theme in my life right now has been just finding stillness
- 2:30Speaker1: within the chaos that is life.
- 2:35Speaker1: And that really came to me during breath the other day. I was doing an intentional
- 2:42Speaker1: breath session on the internet, so there were other people in the live stream as well.
- 2:46Speaker1: And it was a really powerful session. And I just started thinking about how
- 2:56Speaker1: Everything just kind of felt like it stilled with Mother Nature.
- 3:03Speaker1: So the leaves kind of stopped rustling, but they were kind of moving a little
- 3:07Speaker1: bit. And everything just got kind of quiet, all the crickets.
- 3:11Speaker1: And it just kind of rushed through my body, a feeling of calm and peace.
- 3:17Speaker1: And I wanted to share that with everybody that I was finding stillness in the
- 3:23Speaker1: chaos because there was actually chainsaws going on in the background,
- 3:26Speaker1: which is a common theme. If anyone is watching my live streams,
- 3:30Speaker1: there's always a lawnmower.
- 3:32Speaker1: There's always chainsaws cutting wood.
- 3:35Speaker1: And I mean, right now it's pretty peaceful out here. So we've caught, I think, a good time.
- 3:40Speaker1: Let's not jinx it. But I've just been trying to let that leap over into my everyday
- 3:50Speaker1: life as well and not just my meditation.
- 3:54Speaker1: Just being able to stay quiet when everything else is loud.
- 4:00Speaker1: And I think a lot of people might be experiencing that with everything that's
- 4:04Speaker1: going on in the world, but I'm more so talking about my personal, uh, everyday life.
- 4:10Speaker0: Yeah. And from, if anybody's listened to any of your podcasts,
- 4:16Speaker0: um, your OCD and you spoke, you know, very openly about that.
- 4:22Speaker0: And depending when you're listening, whether you heard that episode yet or not,
- 4:26Speaker0: if it's released or not, I heard it.
- 4:29Speaker0: And I think it was the most raw, authentic podcast episode that you had given me.
- 4:37Speaker0: And the thing is, it's so beautiful because the fact that you're brave enough
- 4:42Speaker0: to sit and talk about these things, Because a lot of people don't like to talk
- 4:45Speaker0: about their flaws, but you spoke very openly about it.
- 4:50Speaker0: And I think what's so comforting in that, the fact that there could be other
- 4:54Speaker0: people out there going through these same experiences like you,
- 4:57Speaker0: having the same issues, and you could be looked up to because of that.
- 5:04Speaker0: And it might give them a reason to find new ways to help them.
- 5:10Speaker0: And I love that about you, that you are able to speak about that bravely.
- 5:16Speaker0: And I always say it's brave because, again, to be so honest about a lot of things
- 5:20Speaker0: from your past and not all of us are perfect.
- 5:23Speaker0: As a matter of fact, there isn't a perfect person out there.
- 5:26Speaker0: We've all done wrong things, stupid things, bad things, whatever the case may be.
- 5:31Speaker0: Part of life, nothing wrong with it. It just makes us who we are.
- 5:35Speaker0: The fact that we can sit and say, these were not the best things,
- 5:39Speaker0: and then you make the changes in your life, and sometimes even that's not easy.
- 5:45Speaker0: You know, you still have to go through the struggle of learning now how to put
- 5:48Speaker0: yourself on the right path, and you can sometimes fall off the side of the road,
- 5:53Speaker0: go down a different road, and you talk about this.
- 5:57Speaker1: Yes. Thank you for bringing that up and for the kind words.
- 6:01Speaker1: I really appreciate it, and I receive that love.
- 6:04Speaker1: And I'm glad that you brought that up because my obsessive-compulsive disorder
- 6:11Speaker1: and the reason why I say the phrase altogether instead of abbreviating it with just OCD,
- 6:20Speaker1: I feel like it's wildly and widely overlooked.
- 6:26Speaker1: It's kind of seen as just a little quirk that some people have,
- 6:31Speaker1: But there's people that are battling every day and to minimize it by saying
- 6:39Speaker1: everyone has a little bit of OCD. I've heard that before.
- 6:42Speaker1: I just feel as if it's really important to touch on the real raw look into what
- 6:50Speaker1: an everyday life would look like from person to person because not everyone's
- 6:55Speaker1: going to experience that chemical imbalance the same way.
- 7:00Speaker1: Some people have it manifesting in other ways than the next.
- 7:05Speaker1: So I think it's just important to know that not everybody is perfect and that
- 7:12Speaker1: I kind of touched on that in a Facebook post,
- 7:17Speaker1: kind of debuting my podcast, The Sound Within.
- 7:20Speaker1: In, I kind of let everyone know, like, hey,
- 7:24Speaker1: everybody probably has known me at many different stages of my life, but, you know,
- 7:31Speaker1: all I can do now is kind of move forward and try to be the best me that I could
- 7:36Speaker1: be, and that goes for everybody, not just me.
- 7:40Speaker1: We're not going to stay the same person throughout our entire existence.
- 7:44Speaker1: We're going to be many different phases of who we are.
- 7:51Speaker1: And that's just a really important thing for me because...
- 7:58Speaker1: Not only just to kind of prove, so like, I'm not trying to prove to anybody
- 8:02Speaker1: that I'm this perfect person, but I'm just trying to prove to myself that I'm
- 8:06Speaker1: doing the best that I can.
- 8:08Speaker1: And knowing that gives me a sense of peace, and it also allows me to just express
- 8:15Speaker1: myself really clearly now.
- 8:19Speaker1: And that's why I really enjoy doing this podcast with you, and I really enjoy
- 8:24Speaker1: submitting episodes to you when things come up.
- 8:28Speaker1: And it was actually a long story short,
- 8:32Speaker1: what prompted me to record that episode that you're speaking of about my shedding
- 8:37Speaker1: a little bit more light on my obsessive compulsive disorder was a conversation with my friend Becca,
- 8:43Speaker1: who is really near and dear to my heart. I met her through TikTok streams.
- 8:48Speaker1: She started following me and watching my streams often, and she's been very
- 8:53Speaker1: expressive about how it has changed her life in a lot of ways.
- 8:58Speaker1: And she was asking me to tell her a little bit more about my experience, and so I did,
- 9:04Speaker1: and I felt just an ignition
- 9:08Speaker1: to roll with that and
- 9:11Speaker1: really just spread that
- 9:17Speaker1: to more people so that more people can hear my experience and maybe relate to
- 9:24Speaker1: that and find some comfort knowing that they're not alone and that nobody in
- 9:30Speaker1: this world feels normal, quote-unquote.
- 9:35Speaker0: Yeah, and anybody who's been listening to Eye Opener Society for any time,
- 9:39Speaker0: we're kind of just a group of misfits, really.
- 9:45Speaker0: And there's nothing wrong with that. I really appreciate people that have something
- 9:53Speaker0: about them that has changed and evolved into something better.
- 9:59Speaker0: And with you, listening to you,
- 10:01Speaker0: listening to your lives, listening to your episodes on The Sound Within...
- 10:07Speaker0: I even get a sense of peace. I might not suffer from OCD,
- 10:11Speaker0: but there's still a peace because you've made your life better or tolerable,
- 10:19Speaker0: and that can apply to anybody, regardless of what issues you have.
- 10:25Speaker0: And we're all misfits, every single one of us.
- 10:28Speaker0: Like I said, we always got something quirky or something difficult that we are dealing with.
- 10:35Speaker0: And the self-expression with it is always what I love to hear from people because if you're,
- 10:43Speaker0: proud of yourself then you're proud of
- 10:45Speaker0: your flaws and then you'll be even prouder when you fix those flaws and I think
- 10:51Speaker0: you've done a fantastic job and I barely really know you you know and like you
- 10:56Speaker0: said there's people that followed you or know you known you a great deal of
- 11:00Speaker0: your life they see it but to get other people to see it.
- 11:04Speaker0: That's the thing. And that's important because then people can say,
- 11:08Speaker0: wow, I'm going through the same thing Hannah Rose is.
- 11:11Speaker0: Hannah Rose is here living life now. She's confident. She's secure with herself.
- 11:17Speaker0: I can be that way too. And I'm hoping that's the message that you're trying to get out.
- 11:23Speaker1: Well, thank you. You're making me blush over here. But yes, that is the message
- 11:28Speaker1: that I'm intending to deliver to the world.
- 11:33Speaker1: I always say this. I don't claim to be a healer or anything like that because
- 11:40Speaker1: I'm still healing myself.
- 11:41Speaker1: I believe that truly nobody can heal you. You have to do the work to heal yourself.
- 11:49Speaker1: And sometimes it doesn't always have to feel like work, I might add.
- 11:54Speaker1: It can feel effortless. It can feel like something that lights you up and brings
- 11:58Speaker1: you joy and makes you feel peace.
- 12:01Speaker1: So when people say you have to do the inner work, that sounds like such a big deal.
- 12:08Speaker1: But it doesn't have to be you can make anything your inner work from your day-to-day
- 12:13Speaker1: life if you're just intentional about it.
- 12:16Speaker1: And I find inspiration just in the little things now.
- 12:23Speaker1: And I'm able to really tap into my sacral energy, which is just my powerhouse
- 12:32Speaker1: for creation and flow and inspiration.
- 12:36Speaker1: And so it kind of just sparked something in me to bring up because I have been
- 12:44Speaker1: kind of playing around with chakra vowels,
- 12:48Speaker1: which is just the sounds associated with.
- 12:54Speaker1: Each chakra in the body but it's
- 12:58Speaker1: done through vocal harmonization and
- 13:01Speaker1: it's called like harmonic healing and i discovered it
- 13:05Speaker1: through a friend of mine on tiktok her name is rebecca b song and she is an
- 13:12Speaker1: amazing sorry an amazing healer and she spreads her light through her vocals.
- 13:22Speaker1: She practices with a lot of sound healing, but she also primarily works with voice activation.
- 13:29Speaker1: And so I was in her space the other day, and it was called One, or I'm sorry,
- 13:37Speaker1: Three Minutes of Love, and it was just everyone toning into the one love that
- 13:47Speaker1: connects all of us, the collective.
- 13:50Speaker1: And it was a really beautiful session that she cultivated, and it inspired me
- 13:58Speaker1: to really play around with that.
- 14:00Speaker1: So I've been really playing with those vowels and just kind of singing my little heart out.
- 14:07Speaker1: And I just recently also got a new addition to my instruments,
- 14:11Speaker1: which was my throat chakra sound bowl.
- 14:15Speaker1: So not only am I tapping into these frequencies within my body,
- 14:23Speaker1: within each energy center, I'm able to do that without any instruments. I am the instrument.
- 14:29Speaker1: So if you're listening, then you don't need to have an abundance of instruments
- 14:35Speaker1: or an abundance of money to tap into sound healing.
- 14:41Speaker1: You can tone your...
- 14:45Speaker1: Voice to each frequency yourself. And it's really interesting.
- 14:50Speaker1: And I am just really excited to kind of dive into that a bit more.
- 14:55Speaker0: And this is The Sound Within, and that's why it's the name of your podcast.
- 15:00Speaker0: And that's the whole correlation of this, and that's what's wonderful.
- 15:06Speaker0: And I would really like people to follow you and your tiktok handle hannah rose yeah it's.
- 15:14Speaker1: At hannah rose 146
- 15:16Speaker0: Yeah i always dislike success why i'd rather you say that's all right but i'll
- 15:21Speaker0: make sure it's in the synopsis of this so definitely follow hannah on tiktok
- 15:26Speaker0: because she does it and you usually do it right around noontime eastern standard time yeah.
- 15:32Speaker1: I try to i try to hop on around 11 11 30 uh
- 15:35Speaker1: a.m and that's eastern standard time i've
- 15:40Speaker1: kind of found a flow within my live stream
- 15:42Speaker1: so that it's not too overwhelming and too much pressure on
- 15:46Speaker1: me i'm going live monday tuesday thursday friday so that's four days a week
- 15:51Speaker1: and i'm usually on for about two hours each time um yeah i would love or I would
- 16:01Speaker1: just love to connect with anyone through breath and sound.
- 16:04Speaker0: That's great. Yeah. And if anybody wants to work with me, Hannah Rose,
- 16:10Speaker0: Lizzie, or have questions even for the OG Hannah, my stepdaughter,
- 16:17Speaker0: EOSMeditation at gmail.com.
- 16:19Speaker0: You can reach out to us and just whomever it is you want to talk to,
- 16:23Speaker0: I will make sure you get in touch with them for any type of healing,
- 16:28Speaker0: breath work energy work whatever it is we have to offer because we are here to help but yes,
- 16:34Speaker0: henna rose um can be found on
- 16:37Speaker0: tiktok and you could listen to her lives you
- 16:40Speaker0: could ask questions she's very good at this i enjoy it because it's usually
- 16:45Speaker0: while i'm at work and it's nice to escape works you know confusion and all and
- 16:51Speaker0: i can hone in on the beautiful sounds of her sound bowls and just whatever she
- 16:56Speaker0: has on her mind. She's just talking about it too.
- 16:59Speaker0: And then you can find her on The Sound Within, which is released every Friday.
- 17:04Speaker0: You have your episodes there. So there's so many ways to reach you.
- 17:09Speaker0: And now you have a Facebook page too as well.
- 17:13Speaker1: Yes, I actually just right before
- 17:15Speaker1: this session set up a business page on Facebook for The Sound Within.
- 17:22Speaker1: And it's a bit incomplete. I still have to add some things and tweak it, but it's there.
- 17:28Speaker1: So go ahead and follow that page, and I will be posting each episode.
- 17:34Speaker1: Each time I am a guest, a host, or just releasing an episode,
- 17:39Speaker1: I'll post it so that it's all in one place.
- 17:43Speaker1: A little less confusing because I've been having a lot of people asking,
- 17:46Speaker1: where can I find you? Where's the link?
- 17:48Speaker1: So it'll be all in one place.
- 17:53Speaker0: Yeah, that's great. And I'm looking forward to having you on there too as well.
- 17:56Speaker0: This way people can follow you if they don't have TikTok or vice versa.
- 18:00Speaker0: There's other ways to get, you know, to see you.
- 18:04Speaker0: And it's great that you went and you did the business page. I've been talking
- 18:07Speaker0: to Sunset Child about doing that the whole time. Sunset Child,
- 18:10Speaker0: I said, hell, then you just let everybody go on our personal page.
- 18:13Speaker0: So, but to each their own. And it's great. It's just, I really like to have
- 18:18Speaker0: people following the podcasters, uh, just simply because there's other ways
- 18:23Speaker0: you can reach out to them, questions, thoughts, share stories and all.
- 18:26Speaker0: I find that absolutely fantastic in this community.
- 18:30Speaker0: And especially when we have such wonderful people and, you know,
- 18:33Speaker0: Hannah Rose, you are definitely one of those wonderful people.
- 18:36Speaker0: And I'm so happy to have you as part of this, uh, Society.
- 18:40Speaker1: I'm so happy to be here with you. I'm really excited. Ever since we started
- 18:46Speaker1: working together, I've been really excited about it, really passionate.
- 18:50Speaker1: I love how passionate you are about it.
- 18:53Speaker1: And you also have a lot of good stuff to say on Eye Opener Society.
- 18:57Speaker1: I'm always finding your clips of wisdom each day, and they lift me up.
- 19:04Speaker1: They are just really profound thoughts that just kind of tickle the brain and make you think.
- 19:11Speaker1: And I think, uh, that's just a little bit of what this world needs to kind of
- 19:15Speaker1: steer away from society's ideals and, uh, dive into a more grounded state.
- 19:25Speaker0: Yeah. I try so hard, you know, each day I want to have some kind of message
- 19:30Speaker0: that's going to try and connect with people.
- 19:34Speaker0: And that's really my goal. My purpose is why I like doing this podcast.
- 19:38Speaker0: It's just, you know, looking for
- 19:40Speaker0: that kind of inspiration that we all are looking for that guiding path.
- 19:44Speaker0: And that's why I'm here to do that.
- 19:47Speaker0: And on TikTok, it's great because I get to talk for like a minute or so.
- 19:52Speaker0: And that minute or so has to be energetic enough to get everything I want to say all into one.
- 19:59Speaker0: And it's been a fantastic platform. I hope it stays the way it is.
- 20:03Speaker0: I mean, I know like any other social media, it's just going to collapse because,
- 20:07Speaker0: you know, the powers that be don't want people to be heard.
- 20:11Speaker0: I want everybody to be heard. And that's why my platform is here.
- 20:15Speaker0: But yeah, I appreciate the kind words. I'm glad you find inspiration with them.
- 20:20Speaker0: And so I'm going to put this out here. Okay. And this is not to be,
- 20:26Speaker0: you know, I don't know, apart from being worded, but you're young.
- 20:31Speaker0: And what I find so amazing with you, you still have that very older hippie type of vibe with you.
- 20:40Speaker0: And I, you know, I really love that. I love seeing like a younger generation
- 20:45Speaker0: having that free spirited type of personality that you have.
- 20:52Speaker0: I mean, is that correct to say?
- 20:54Speaker1: I would say so. I was raised to be that way. My parents are pretty cool and
- 20:58Speaker1: pretty, I would say, hippie vibe.
- 21:03Speaker1: My dad used to always take me to Phish concerts when I was young.
- 21:07Speaker1: I'd be out in the, you know, just in the grass in a sundress barefoot,
- 21:12Speaker1: you know, dancing in the bubbles and trying to hit the glowing balloon that's
- 21:18Speaker1: going through the crowd and stuff like that, you know.
- 21:20Speaker1: And that was my childhood. I grew up like that.
- 21:24Speaker1: My fondest memories of being a child were going to Camp Zoe,
- 21:28Speaker1: if anyone knows what that is.
- 21:30Speaker1: We went there for many years before it was shut down, and also Summer Camp,
- 21:36Speaker1: which is another musical fest that went on.
- 21:40Speaker1: I was a child, so I don't know the specifics, but those are my fondest memories. I loved that.
- 21:48Speaker1: Just thinking about it right now almost just brings tears to my eyes and makes
- 21:52Speaker1: me feel warm in my heart. And so I just try to
- 21:57Speaker1: Look within and let my inner child out to play.
- 22:01Speaker1: And that's what kind of allows me to be so free-spirited at this point after
- 22:05Speaker1: going through so much hell in my life, to no fault but my own,
- 22:12Speaker1: and my own choices and my own path.
- 22:15Speaker1: But it all led me to where I am today.
- 22:17Speaker1: And I'm really proud of that and I
- 22:21Speaker1: really enjoy just tapping in back into that essence of being a child and wanting
- 22:29Speaker1: to play and so that's why I do these daily meditations in my garden because
- 22:35Speaker1: it brings me a lot of peace.
- 22:39Speaker1: I also remember playing in the garden a lot with my grandma while she was gardening,
- 22:44Speaker1: I would be out there collecting leaves and worms and putting them in a little
- 22:48Speaker1: bucket and making a little home.
- 22:51Speaker1: I know everyone did it as a kid, but it's just one of those memories that I
- 22:56Speaker1: really love and I love that feeling.
- 22:59Speaker1: And sometimes during breath, I really get to tap into those memories because
- 23:04Speaker1: my senses are heightened.
- 23:06Speaker1: I'm able to smell a lot better. I'm able to taste a lot better because I'm oxygenating
- 23:11Speaker1: the blood and clearing away those pathways and all of the stuff that's no longer
- 23:17Speaker1: serving me in my body that I need to purge.
- 23:19Speaker1: And I'm able to really zone into these senses.
- 23:24Speaker1: And sometimes it feels really sensual, and that's not in a sexual way.
- 23:30Speaker1: Sensual just means that you're feeling all of the feelings, you're feeling all
- 23:34Speaker1: of the sensations, and you're enjoying it.
- 23:39Speaker1: It's a really beautiful thing.
- 23:42Speaker0: Well, it is a very beautiful thing. And everything you just said right now,
- 23:46Speaker0: I think that just focused and really concentrated what I'm thinking.
- 23:52Speaker0: I think this is where people need to be. you, and I'm talking to the entire
- 23:57Speaker0: audience, you need to focus just like Hannah Rose is doing,
- 24:02Speaker0: and bringing out that free spirited and being yourself and finding happiness
- 24:10Speaker0: just in the moment, because I feel that's exactly what you're doing.
- 24:13Speaker0: And it is so beautifully said.
- 24:16Speaker0: We lack that right now. I think humanity is lacking that.
- 24:20Speaker0: We're not focused. We're not focusing on the here and now. We're not focusing on our inner child.
- 24:28Speaker0: We're not focusing in on our free spirit. We're allowing everything else in
- 24:32Speaker0: the outside world to affect us.
- 24:34Speaker0: And once we close out that world, focus on our world and then bring our world
- 24:39Speaker0: outside, that generates so much peace.
- 24:44Speaker0: And just listening to you has brought me some peace.
- 24:47Speaker0: And it's not to cut you off or anything. I really feel we need to end the episode
- 24:54Speaker0: just like that because you really said so much in that.
