- 1:35Speaker 1: Morning, you're on the air.
- 1:38Speaker 5: Yeah you want to hear it? Like the most mortifying
- 1:41Speaker 5: story ever. Sure, So I accidentally became the neighborhood criminal
- 1:46Speaker 5: because I tried to surprise my boyfriend with one of
- 1:50Speaker 5: those like big giant romantic yard sign for his graduation.
- 1:54Speaker 5: He's he just got his master's degree, and so I
- 1:58Speaker 5: was outside at two am because I wanted him to
- 2:01Speaker 5: wake up to it, and I'm out there hammering this
- 2:03Speaker 5: year's like we love you, Tyler signed to the lawn,
- 2:08Speaker 5: but apparently it was it was dark because the street
- 2:10Speaker 5: lands were on and I did not know I was
- 2:14Speaker 5: in the wrong yard. So then after a little while,
- 2:18Speaker 5: the homeowner's ring camera starts talking to me like hello,
- 2:23Speaker 5: who are you? So I freak out, panic and run,
- 2:28Speaker 5: but of course, like a dingus, I left this sign
- 2:30Speaker 5: behind sturn. The next morning, my boyfriend sends me a
- 2:34Speaker 5: Facebook post from the neighborhood group with screenshots of me
- 2:37Speaker 5: like mid sprint holding a mallet. It's like the title
- 2:42Speaker 5: of is like suspicious woman terrorizing cold a sack. But
- 2:46Speaker 5: the best part is my mom's on the group and
- 2:48Speaker 5: she saw it and she's like, Jennifer, you need to
- 2:52Speaker 5: call me.
- 2:55Speaker 6: I feel like the neighbor though, it's like wouldn't they
- 2:57Speaker 6: say why didn't they see that?
- 2:58Speaker 3: We love Tyler sang like like you know what I mean,
- 3:01Speaker 3: Like it's.
- 3:02Speaker 1: Dark, maybe they read the song. They're just like someone's
- 3:05Speaker 1: in front of our yard and they like go.
- 3:07Speaker 6: Through all the effort to post it in the group
- 3:09Speaker 6: and like talk maybe the minute and go see exactly,
- 3:12Speaker 6: like go and look, yeah.
- 3:15Speaker 5: Wow, you know, like the crazy X or something.
- 3:18Speaker 1: You know, they don't know have you are you guys
- 3:22Speaker 1: watching My Friends and Neighbors.
- 3:24Speaker 3: I've been watching a little bit of it.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Are you watching it? Jenna?
- 3:28Speaker 3: Yes?
- 3:29Speaker 5: I love that show.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Okay, do you see the most recent episode?
- 3:31Speaker 4: Yes, it's very so the the uh, these neighbors put
- 3:35Speaker 4: up a portagehn right on the border of this this
- 3:38Speaker 4: house and it smells, so the the two girls get
- 3:43Speaker 4: drunk and decide to tip it over. And as they're
- 3:46Speaker 4: tipping over the portajohn into the knit like, the lights
- 3:49Speaker 4: turn on and the siren goes off whatever, and the
- 3:52Speaker 4: owners come out and they try to run and one
- 3:54Speaker 4: girl runs and slips into the portagohn stuff face down
- 3:59Speaker 4: in its blue and it smells, and then she gets arrested.
- 4:03Speaker 4: It has to go to jail, Yeah, and they she
- 4:07Speaker 4: stays there overnight because they show her.
- 4:09Speaker 3: It ends.
- 4:09Speaker 4: The episode ends with her coming out and it's all
- 4:11Speaker 4: dry and there's a white outfit and white pajama.
- 4:16Speaker 3: Show.
- 4:16Speaker 4: It's very very small comedy. It's more uh that that
- 4:21Speaker 4: was a funny scene that happened. It was much like
- 4:23Speaker 4: like Jenna's story. I mean, it turned out to be
- 4:26Speaker 4: funny anyway. Jedna, thanks for sharing it could be Yes, Yes,
- 4:32Speaker 4: thank you for calling in which is funny.
- 4:35Speaker 1: You know.
- 4:35Speaker 4: I put on my Facebook, I said, what's the dumbest
- 4:38Speaker 4: thing someone in your neighborhood Facebook group is fighting about
- 4:40Speaker 4: this week?
- 4:42Speaker 5: You know?
- 4:42Speaker 1: And it just kind of reminds me of Jenda stuff.
- 4:44Speaker 4: But I see sour door bread and whether or not
- 4:46Speaker 4: somebody should pay for a starter and make it themselves.
- 4:48Speaker 4: This is so dumb. What do you what do they
- 4:51Speaker 4: fight about in the group Facebook? I'm fighting about the
- 4:53Speaker 4: amount of people asking what time Walmart is open, whether
- 4:57Speaker 4: or not some woman should be using a neck roller.
- 5:00Speaker 3: Those are a lot more interesting than my mom Facebook
- 5:02Speaker 3: group stuff.
- 5:03Speaker 1: One of the dumbest things someone in your neighborhood face.
- 5:05Speaker 1: What are they fighting about in yours?
- 5:06Speaker 6: They're fighting about the water prices going up in Gilbert,
- 5:10Speaker 6: and they're fighting about the kids on the east scooters
- 5:12Speaker 6: and the e bikes all the time.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Those bikes are problems, and it's like it's.
- 5:18Speaker 3: The people that are like going back and forth.
- 5:19Speaker 6: It's like these kids on e bikes are awful, and
- 5:22Speaker 6: then you have the other people who are like, I
- 5:24Speaker 6: really saw this really nice kid on an e bike,
- 5:26Speaker 6: And then they all go back and forth and there's
- 5:27Speaker 6: like hundreds of comment.
- 5:29Speaker 4: The thing is with the e by kids, is that
- 5:31Speaker 4: somebody's gonna get hurt. Some by kills to get killed.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Sure, yeah, rules.
- 5:36Speaker 4: They're zipping through parking lotsters, zipping through streets, sidewalks and
- 5:39Speaker 4: they looks so well.
- 5:40Speaker 3: And we were just at my son's baseball gaming the
- 5:42Speaker 3: other night and someone was zipping through the park of
- 5:44Speaker 3: the baseball game and it literally almost ran over at Toddler.
- 5:46Speaker 6: It's just crazy sad when they're like crossing the street
- 5:48Speaker 6: and like flipping cars on and stuff.
- 5:49Speaker 3: But like, if you could do a responsibly e bike.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Away, Aila, Aila, how do you say your name? Ayla? Hi,
- 5:57Speaker 1: you're on the air. It's John Day and Rich good morning.
- 5:59Speaker 2: Hi, Hey, good morning.
- 6:00Speaker 1: I do have a story for you about.
- 6:04Speaker 2: I got locked on the rooftop of my apartment complex
- 6:08Speaker 2: and I was there for like six hours and it
- 6:11Speaker 2: was daytime and hot.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Were you sunbathing or were you just hanging out?
- 6:16Speaker 6: I was so no.
- 6:18Speaker 2: I was like it was in the morning. I got
- 6:20Speaker 2: my book and my iced coffee, and then after thirty
- 6:24Speaker 2: minutes of reading, I decided to leave. But I found
- 6:27Speaker 2: out that I locked myself out like in on the
- 6:29Speaker 2: rooftop and the sun was like getting hotter and hotter,
- 6:33Speaker 2: so I started to panic, and then I looked down
- 6:37Speaker 2: and try to like call for help. And then suddenly
- 6:40Speaker 2: also my phone died too. And I saw this girl
- 6:43Speaker 2: that I have beef with in the apartment and she
- 6:48Speaker 2: literally said, like, karme's a bitch, like she yelled it
- 6:51Speaker 2: up to.
- 6:51Speaker 5: Me, and.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Oh my god, like it was insane because I was
- 6:57Speaker 2: there for three to four hours and I started to
- 6:59Speaker 2: beg for her to just get security, to get help
- 7:03Speaker 2: for me or do anything. I was like basically on
- 7:07Speaker 2: my knees, and she just could not.
- 7:09Speaker 3: Budge what's the beef?
- 7:12Speaker 6: Like why do you have beef with your neighbor to
- 7:13Speaker 6: the point where like she would leave you stranded on
- 7:15Speaker 6: a rooftop.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Two years ago, when I accidentally reported her car to
- 7:20Speaker 2: the apartment to hotline because I just thought, like, someone's
- 7:23Speaker 2: still my parking spot, and it just turns out it
- 7:26Speaker 2: was my mistake. It was her assigned spot. The clause
- 7:32Speaker 2: is a really big convenience for her, and she'd never
- 7:35Speaker 2: forgot about it.
- 7:37Speaker 4: I still think, you know, I gotta say I think
- 7:39Speaker 4: about somebody I don't like, and if I saw him
- 7:42Speaker 4: stranded on the on the roof, I think I would still.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Help, right, did you die.
- 7:50Speaker 3: There a couple of hours?
- 7:52Speaker 1: It's like your fault, I didn't go. That's tough. That
- 7:55Speaker 1: is tough man. Well, I think I was like the.
- 7:58Speaker 2: A whole, Like I was kind of the person like
- 8:03Speaker 2: what like two years ago when that happened, I was
- 8:04Speaker 2: insistent that someone stole it, and so we kind of
- 8:08Speaker 2: had this like back and forth argument going on, and
- 8:12Speaker 2: every time we walked past each other, like since two
- 8:15Speaker 2: years and ongoing, we've always had this like like mean
- 8:20Speaker 2: like stare down. So I think that just sucks.
- 8:24Speaker 5: Yeah, I.
- 8:32Speaker 3: Do you have like a nemesis.
- 8:36Speaker 2: Nemesis at home?
- 8:37Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 8:37Speaker 1: Great story. Thanks for sharing that with us.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:40Speaker 5: Thanks
