- 0:08Speaker 1: Scalable advice for sure, spice, It's time nice low lower
- 0:15Speaker 1: lower lower Lowerllo, welcome to the naughty but nice sham.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Your Headstrom shoes run back in America. So if the
- 0:21Speaker 1: microphone sounds a little bit more crispy today, you are welcome.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Thank you for hanging with me. The last week I
- 0:26Speaker 1: was over in the UK for my dad's funeral. Very
- 0:29Speaker 1: stressful but also very very beautiful. It is good to
- 0:33Speaker 1: be home after all the years that I have worked here,
- 0:36Speaker 1: lived here over thirty years. Now, I've spent more of
- 0:38Speaker 1: my life in New York than in Britain. I feel
- 0:42Speaker 1: like I'm an American. I do have an American passport,
- 0:45Speaker 1: I am an American citizen. But when I came through
- 0:47Speaker 1: customs and that brilliant God said to me, welcome homest Shooterer,
- 0:53Speaker 1: I was like, oh my goodness, I am home. So
- 0:56Speaker 1: it's good to be back. Nought He's joining us every third.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Our dear friend, Mark, Lupo, Libby, are you there.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Luby lewis here? Welcome home, rab Thank you.
- 1:06Speaker 1: Darling, your text, your messages. While I was overseas dealing
- 1:09Speaker 1: with family, really sad moments, but inevitable moments were really appreciated.
- 1:14Speaker 1: So thank you for being a friend. Let's jump into
- 1:17Speaker 1: the show. What time is it, my friends? It is
- 1:20Speaker 1: tea time. So Kim Kardashian is devastated by her mini
- 1:23Speaker 1: series flapp and co stars are hugging her as she
- 1:27Speaker 1: blames herself. So multiple sources are telling me she is
- 1:30Speaker 1: a rattled by this Brian Ryan Murphy, sorry Ryan Murphy miniseries.
- 1:36Speaker 1: It's called All Fair and it has crashed, getting an
- 1:39Speaker 1: unprecedented zero percentage on Rotten Tomatoes. So Rotten Tomatoes is
- 1:46Speaker 1: a great sight. It really gives you an indication of
- 1:48Speaker 1: how these shows are. Some get ninety percent even higher.
- 1:52Speaker 1: I seen some I've never seen a show with zero.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Sources are saying that when Kim found out about that,
- 1:58Speaker 1: when she read the reviews, face dropped. She looked like
- 2:01Speaker 1: she'd been slapped. Now her col starts at major Glenn Close,
- 2:05Speaker 1: Naomi Watts, Me, Seeing Nash, Sarah Paulson, they're all in this,
- 2:08Speaker 1: and they're all supporting Kim. They're not being catty about this.
- 2:11Speaker 1: They've been really, really protective. They got to really like him.
- 2:14Speaker 1: It is easy to dismiss Kim Kardashian, and we've done it. Many,
- 2:18Speaker 1: many times, maybe even on this show, thinking she's a joke.
- 2:22Speaker 1: She's not. She does the work. Is she the greatest actress?
- 2:25Speaker 1: Probably not. I've only seen a little bit of this,
- 2:28Speaker 1: this mini series. It's campy, it's silly. It's exactly what
- 2:31Speaker 1: you want, I think from Ryan Murphy. Let's be honest.
- 2:33Speaker 1: He didn't cast her because she's Meryl Streep. He cast
- 2:36Speaker 1: her because she's Kim Kardashian. She's gonna get a ton
- 2:38Speaker 1: of press, which she did do. We're all talking about it.
- 2:42Speaker 1: I just wish Mark for Kim's sake, for our sake,
- 2:45Speaker 1: the show is just twenty percent better. It's not great.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Have you seen it? What do you think?
- 2:51Speaker 2: Yeah, it's not great. And you know, I've been mitted
- 2:53Speaker 2: in the show before. I'm a longtime Kardashian watcher, and
- 2:56Speaker 2: I support Kim and all the endeavors. But you know,
- 3:00Speaker 2: sometimes you're just not good at certain things, and I
- 3:02Speaker 2: think this is, you know, proof of that, and you
- 3:04Speaker 2: know it's not all Kim's fault. The script is terrible.
- 3:07Speaker 2: It's over the top, but not in a way that's
- 3:09Speaker 2: kind of fun. It's just it's just so ridiculous. It's
- 3:11Speaker 2: hard to watch and you know, what are you gonna do?
- 3:15Speaker 2: She did the work. She wouldn't promoted the show. She
- 3:17Speaker 2: she big cross promoted on the Kardashians. Everything was there
- 3:21Speaker 2: for this to be a success. And I think ultimately
- 3:23Speaker 2: they're writing the plot wasn't great, and that's kind of that.
- 3:27Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't think Kim let the cast down. Kim,
- 3:29Speaker 1: if you're listening to Loa Loa Low, I know the
- 3:31Speaker 1: Kardashians know you, Mark, they know me, so they could
- 3:33Speaker 1: be listening to this podcast. It's not totally Kim's fault.
- 3:37Speaker 1: What she was given was not very good. It just
- 3:41Speaker 1: wasn't very good material. Everything starts in show business. With
- 3:45Speaker 1: good material, you could be the greatest actress actor in
- 3:48Speaker 1: the world. And if the materials rough, it's gonna be
- 3:51Speaker 1: a rough movie, mini serious here, and so it just
- 3:54Speaker 1: wasn't really thought through. And now some would argue that's
- 3:56Speaker 1: why Kim was hired. She's not gonna get offered Shindler's list.
- 3:59Speaker 1: She's not gonna get offered the really great, great projects.
- 4:02Speaker 1: She's gonna get offered the B list projects. And I
- 4:06Speaker 1: think here though, what's interesting to me is that she
- 4:08Speaker 1: really did try and Glenn Close. That's somebody who should
- 4:12Speaker 1: have an Academy Award. She doesn't nominated several times, but
- 4:16Speaker 1: she's an extraordinary actress for them to accept Kim, and
- 4:19Speaker 1: they really really did. Kim really did her hardest here,
- 4:22Speaker 1: Kim god ashy. Let's face it, she could have made
- 4:24Speaker 1: a movie mini series ten years ago. She could make
- 4:26Speaker 1: an album. She's so damn famous, she has so many
- 4:30Speaker 1: Instagram followers. I really respect that Kim has resisted for
- 4:34Speaker 1: a long time to really get involved in this stuff.
- 4:37Speaker 1: She's known her laying and so she's now trying to
- 4:40Speaker 1: branch out. It hasn't really worked, which brings us to
- 4:43Speaker 1: our pole question of the day. Kim is devastated by
- 4:46Speaker 1: her mini serious flop. It's just not very good. It's
- 4:49Speaker 1: not just Kim's fault. The writing's awful. It's just not
- 4:52Speaker 1: a very good show. She blames herself. Do you think
- 4:56Speaker 1: we will see Kim making anymore? Is this going to
- 4:59Speaker 1: turn her off? When you do something and everyone's so
- 5:02Speaker 1: mean and you don't need to do it, she doesn't
- 5:04Speaker 1: need the money, like she's just going to stop doing
- 5:06Speaker 1: this or is Kim going to carry on? Let's be
- 5:08Speaker 1: honest here, Mark, people have been mean about her for
- 5:11Speaker 1: twenty years. Like this is not new for Kim. She
- 5:15Speaker 1: knows that Hollywood is not a huge fan of hers.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Remember when she we used to get banned from the
- 5:20Speaker 1: met Ball and now she's a star. Never counteract, Kim,
- 5:23Speaker 1: Kim turn around a conversation and part of that naughties
- 5:27Speaker 1: and it's a lesson we all have to learn. Keep going.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Failure is part of the process. In fact, the road
- 5:33Speaker 1: to success, it's paved with failure. Mark, I have failed
- 5:37Speaker 1: so many times, and it's only the fact that I
- 5:40Speaker 1: kept going that made me successful. It wasn't some extraordinary talent.
- 5:43Speaker 1: It wasn't some wisdom, some knowledge that somebody gave me. No,
- 5:48Speaker 1: it didn't happen. I just kept going. I refused to
- 5:51Speaker 1: give in. So part of me hopes Kim just keeps
- 5:53Speaker 1: marching and doing what she wants here. But what do
- 5:56Speaker 1: you think? Will she give up? Yes? Or no? Go
- 5:58Speaker 1: vote on our Twitter page at Naughty Nice rob Our
- 6:01Speaker 1: facebook page is Naughty Gossip. I'm be sure to check
- 6:05Speaker 1: back tomorrow to hear your results. Hey, Loopy, what are
- 6:09Speaker 1: you working on? Yeah?
- 6:10Speaker 2: Uh oh?
- 6:11Speaker 1: So.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Bruce Springsteen is feeling stung by a rare Hollywood flop
- 6:16Speaker 2: as his fans have rejected his fifty five million dollar
- 6:19Speaker 2: bio pick. Let me explain. So, Bruce Springsteen has weathered
- 6:23Speaker 2: stadium storms, industry wars, and aging rock stardom, but this
- 6:27Speaker 2: one is really going to hurt. Sources sell our podcast
- 6:30Speaker 2: that deliver Me from Nowhere. That's the movie is chronicling
- 6:34Speaker 2: the creation of Bruce's brooding classic Nebraska album, and it's
- 6:38Speaker 2: collapsing at the box office, scraping just sixteen point six
- 6:42Speaker 2: million dollars domestically and thirty point eight million worldwide, and
- 6:46Speaker 2: the production budget was fifty five million before marketing, and
- 6:50Speaker 2: insiders are saying there's no word other than flop to
- 6:55Speaker 2: describe a situation. Sources say it's crushing. Bruce didn't approve this.
- 7:00Speaker 2: He'd poured his whole soul into this and on people.
- 7:03Speaker 2: The film was set to win an Oscar, included Jeremy
- 7:06Speaker 2: Alan White and Jeremy Strong, but critics say that it
- 7:10Speaker 2: just didn't connect.
- 7:11Speaker 1: What do you think it didn't connect? I've seen this movie.
- 7:14Speaker 1: It's a really good movie. I think the problem with
- 7:16Speaker 1: this movie, and this is a compliment Bruce Springsteen's life,
- 7:20Speaker 1: personal life. It's just not that messy he's not a
- 7:23Speaker 1: real housewife. What made the Queen movie so great that
- 7:27Speaker 1: Freddie Mercury was a mess. He was fabulous, but he
- 7:30Speaker 1: was sloppy. Elton John sloppy, or at least he was.
- 7:34Speaker 1: That's why these stories are so fantastic when there's no
- 7:38Speaker 1: story there, when the celebrity is a little bit dull.
- 7:40Speaker 1: And often these pop stars are on stage they're more
- 7:43Speaker 1: interesting than they are off stage. We've met many of them,
- 7:46Speaker 1: Mark big, big pop stars, a little dull. I think
- 7:49Speaker 1: Nick Jonas is fantastic on stage whenever I've met him,
- 7:52Speaker 1: whenever I've sat with him, Oh he's as dull as
- 7:55Speaker 1: they come. That interesting. And Nick, if you're listening Yellow
- 7:58Speaker 1: and Below, you're fabulous what you're doing. You don't have
- 8:01Speaker 1: to put on a show when you sit down with me.
- 8:03Speaker 1: I get it. I don't need the Nick Joonas show.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Although I would love for him to get up a
- 8:07Speaker 1: bottinaz and just do one, two and just one song,
- 8:09Speaker 1: he wasn't going to do that, MRK. That's not that
- 8:11Speaker 1: sort of And so often these celebrities' private lives are
- 8:16Speaker 1: just not that interesting. And this is what the mistake
- 8:18Speaker 1: they make making movies and musicals. It's not just the music.
- 8:23Speaker 1: You need a story. So Bruce has the greatest songs ever.
- 8:26Speaker 1: I mean, those songs are fantastic, but personally a bit moody,
- 8:31Speaker 1: bit grumpy, not the most interesting. Billy Joel. Now that
- 8:35Speaker 1: would be a good movie or musical because the songs
- 8:39Speaker 1: are there. But the story is there too. Dolly Parton,
- 8:43Speaker 1: they're doing a musical of her life. Her story is fabulous,
- 8:46Speaker 1: born into poverty, all those brothers and sisters and rose
- 8:49Speaker 1: to the top. So you need a story there too.
- 8:51Speaker 1: It must be concerning. Though he really did think this
- 8:54Speaker 1: was going to be massive. Has not done very well,
- 8:57Speaker 1: and yeah, I get it. It stings. It stings when
- 9:01Speaker 1: things don't do as well as you hope. But don't
- 9:02Speaker 1: worry for Bruce. He's still selling out concerts. He's got
- 9:05Speaker 1: tons of money. He's going to be fine. Okay, moving along,
- 9:08Speaker 1: Prince Harry dropped a bombshell and everybody in the UK
- 9:11Speaker 1: they heard what he said. So he was asked where
- 9:13Speaker 1: he lives and he said currently, I live in the US.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Now that's a very unusual thing to say. He could
- 9:18Speaker 1: have said I live in America, he didn't. He added
- 9:21Speaker 1: the word currently, So Mark. If I say to you, Muckleypen,
- 9:25Speaker 1: where do you live and you say, currently, I live
- 9:27Speaker 1: in Harlem, I'm like, oh, he's not going to stay there.
- 9:30Speaker 1: Robs shed A, where do you live? Currently? I live
- 9:32Speaker 1: in Chelsea. He's not going to say. You wouldn't say that.
- 9:35Speaker 1: I'd say I live in Chelsea because I'm never leaving
- 9:37Speaker 1: this apartment. Carrie said, currently, Well, people in Britain have noticed.
- 9:41Speaker 1: The Palace has noticed. I was back in Britain for
- 9:43Speaker 1: a week, so I really did get a ton of
- 9:46Speaker 1: new royal gossip. I spent some time with people I
- 9:49Speaker 1: went to school with, university with, and a lot of
- 9:51Speaker 1: them do work at the Palace. The Palace hires hundreds
- 9:54Speaker 1: of people. It is. They call it the best gay
- 9:56Speaker 1: bar in Britain. All my gay friends. And I'm working
- 9:59Speaker 1: a book at a palace, so low Loo Loo. They
- 10:01Speaker 1: listened to the walk you get the King to listen
- 10:03Speaker 1: Hello Charlie. Well, they told me all the gout it.
- 10:06Speaker 1: They said, oh my goodness, Harry did say currently maybe
- 10:09Speaker 1: he wants to go back. I think he does. My
- 10:11Speaker 1: insiders are telling me you do miss home Mark. When
- 10:14Speaker 1: I went back to Britain, I grew up in Birmingham, England.
- 10:17Speaker 1: I felt really at home. I just sat on my
- 10:20Speaker 1: mom's couch. And I'm not saying that I don't love
- 10:23Speaker 1: it here. I do. This is home too, but there
- 10:26Speaker 1: was something about where you grow up. And Harry spent
- 10:29Speaker 1: at least what twenty thirty years of his life in Britain.
- 10:33Speaker 1: He spent a lot more time of his life in
- 10:35Speaker 1: Britain than in California. It's a real cultural change to him,
- 10:38Speaker 1: and also too. In Britain he was treated like a
- 10:41Speaker 1: crown prince. He was treated very, very well. He's treated
- 10:44Speaker 1: well here in America, but it's not the same. People
- 10:47Speaker 1: don't bow for him in Montecito when he walks into
- 10:49Speaker 1: the Starbucks. People don't drop to their knees. Women are
- 10:53Speaker 1: not doing a curtsy. In Britain, they are He's a
- 10:56Speaker 1: crown prince, so arguably he had a better life in Britain.
- 11:00Speaker 1: Interesting choice of words. Am I reading into it?
- 11:02Speaker 2: Mark?
- 11:02Speaker 1: Or do you think my my suspicion, my nosiness has
- 11:06Speaker 1: once again got to be proven right.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Well, you're as equally as nosey as I am. And
- 11:11Speaker 2: I'm not embarrassed to admit that they think about this
- 11:14Speaker 2: almost every day, like what's it going to be like
- 11:16Speaker 2: if they do separate and he has to move back
- 11:18Speaker 2: to London and she's ongoing, she's never going back. And
- 11:22Speaker 2: that's the that's the hard fact here. And you know,
- 11:24Speaker 2: I think they have been pushing this narrative that everything
- 11:27Speaker 2: is so happy and great in Montecito. And even just recently,
- 11:31Speaker 2: Megan posted a video of herself reacting when the La
- 11:34Speaker 2: Dodgers won and Harry is just sitting on the couch
- 11:36Speaker 2: by himself, like with the half half smiled, looking miserable,
- 11:40Speaker 2: and I'm like, this guy is all the way out.
- 11:42Speaker 2: He's all the way out, and he wants to go home.
- 11:44Speaker 2: And I get it.
- 11:45Speaker 1: He wants to go home. Yeah, he wants to go home.
- 11:47Speaker 1: My sources are telling me, not just my sources in Britain,
- 11:49Speaker 1: people I know who work for Harry and Meghan in La.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Friends of their say he's just never really fit in.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Ally is a tough place if you don't look like
- 11:58Speaker 1: Brad Pitt and you're in the entertainer business, which is
- 12:01Speaker 1: Harry's business now they're in the podcast. In entertainment business,
- 12:04Speaker 1: it's rough. He's a really nice looking guy, but he's
- 12:06Speaker 1: balled in. He's not got a six pack of abs,
- 12:09Speaker 1: and that's what they want in Hollywood. We've been their Mark.
- 12:12Speaker 1: I'm always the fat guy in Hollywood would like I'm
- 12:14Speaker 1: the old fat guy. I'm in New York. I'm at
- 12:17Speaker 1: eight in Hollywood. I'm a throat on a good day.
- 12:20Speaker 1: It's a tough place, Mark, and Harry just does not
- 12:23Speaker 1: have that Hollywood look. I think he's going to go home.
- 12:26Speaker 1: And the question here Mark really got to the center
- 12:29Speaker 1: of the argument here. She ain't going back. So if
- 12:32Speaker 1: he's talking about or thinking about going back, it's by himself.
- 12:36Speaker 1: She's not. There's no way she is going back. It's
- 12:41Speaker 1: just not going to happen. Everyone we know who knows
- 12:43Speaker 1: her Mark, she's never She will not even go back
- 12:45Speaker 1: for the King's funeral. Like She's just she's not going back.
- 12:49Speaker 1: The fact he's saying he currently lives in la that
- 12:52Speaker 1: doesn't mean they're moving to Atlanta. I don't think they're
- 12:55Speaker 1: moving to Florida. There's any one place that he's moving to.
- 12:59Speaker 1: And he is back to London. Okay, this story made
- 13:03Speaker 1: me chuckle a little bit. Joey who I loved him
- 13:05Speaker 1: on The Bachelor. I thought he was so cute on
- 13:07Speaker 1: the bachelor, but he's still not married. Mark, He's busy, busy, busy,
- 13:10Speaker 1: but he's not exactly married. What's going on?
- 13:13Speaker 2: He's not so the nation's golden boy just had a
- 13:15Speaker 2: finish line, but not the ones that fans are begging for.
- 13:19Speaker 2: Fresh off grinding out of the New York City Marathon,
- 13:21Speaker 2: Joey Grasida it was spotted limping through l e X,
- 13:24Speaker 2: proudly nursing his sorkas like a badge of honor. He
- 13:29Speaker 2: made it with seconds to very told the Shooters Told
- 13:32Speaker 2: Shooters Group, grinning through the pain. But while the marathon
- 13:35Speaker 2: pace was blistering, wedding planning with fiancee Kelsey Anderson is crawling.
- 13:39Speaker 2: He said. We're in the early stages of planning. AKA,
- 13:43Speaker 2: they've pinned two floral arrangements and maybe booked a playlist together. Rob,
- 13:48Speaker 2: it doesn't seem like this is moving in the direction
- 13:50Speaker 2: of the way.
- 13:51Speaker 1: No not. There's something going on here. They're busy enough
- 13:54Speaker 1: to do to do the stuff they want to do,
- 13:56Speaker 1: but yet they're too busy to get married be a priority.
- 14:01Speaker 1: All my sources are saying there's something very off here.
- 14:04Speaker 1: If he can train for the marathon, he got enough
- 14:06Speaker 1: time to get ready for a wedding if he can
- 14:08Speaker 1: do all this TV stuff. Well, I'm told he's holding
- 14:11Speaker 1: this up is they want a reality show wedding. They
- 14:14Speaker 1: want this to be televised and they don't have that yet.
- 14:17Speaker 1: So you know, I like that his friends are defending him.
- 14:20Speaker 1: I like that his friends are saying, oh, they're planning,
- 14:23Speaker 1: and they don't want this to be in the spotlight.
- 14:25Speaker 1: It's the opposite the reality stars. Even if they're good
- 14:27Speaker 1: people and they could be all reality stars. We've ever
- 14:30Speaker 1: met Mark love one thing the spotlight. They wouldn't be
- 14:33Speaker 1: on a reality show. He wants a big ABC, a
- 14:37Speaker 1: big network work wedding, and they don't want to do
- 14:40Speaker 1: that for him, and so they're trying to figure this
- 14:43Speaker 1: one out. Oh this is what buggd me about these shows.
- 14:46Speaker 1: When you realize it's not actually about love, it's about
- 14:48Speaker 1: the love of money, about the love of fame, about
- 14:51Speaker 1: the love of being in the spotlight, it really turns
- 14:54Speaker 1: you off. And that's the floor. That's the fundamental problem
- 14:59Speaker 1: with the reality sho shows. Anyone that goes on them now,
- 15:02Speaker 1: not in the beginning, but now they go on it
- 15:05Speaker 1: to become rich and famous. No one's going on it
- 15:08Speaker 1: to celebrate their life, to have a good time. It's
- 15:11Speaker 1: always off one eye thinking I'm going to become rich,
- 15:14Speaker 1: and so it's just it's changed the type of people
- 15:17Speaker 1: the audition for these shows. And so I find this
- 15:21Speaker 1: like not totally true. But Jerry, we wish you the best.
- 15:24Speaker 1: He is cute, their mark he's a kid. Is Okay,
- 15:28Speaker 1: We're going to take a quick break and we will
- 15:30Speaker 1: be right back. Welcome back to the Nord even nice show.
- 15:35Speaker 1: It's so good to be back in New York City. Naughties. Hey,
- 15:38Speaker 1: let's get to the poll. D So last show, we
- 15:43Speaker 1: didn't actually give a poll, so when I was in
- 15:46Speaker 1: Britain it was quite tricky to do the polls mark
- 15:49Speaker 1: because I didn't quite know when we were going to
- 15:51Speaker 1: be taping. It was a logistic problem, so we didn't
- 15:53Speaker 1: have a poll. But now we're back to schedule. Don't
- 15:55Speaker 1: forget to vote on today's pole, don't forget to vote
- 15:59Speaker 1: on to day is Paul. It's a really really good
- 16:02Speaker 1: one today. Kim Kardashian, is she gonna give her back
- 16:05Speaker 1: to in after this awful response? I mean, really cruel.
- 16:07Speaker 1: I don't think she thought she was gonna get an oscar,
- 16:09Speaker 1: but she didn't expect it to be this bad? What
- 16:11Speaker 1: do you think? Go vote on our Twitter page at
- 16:14Speaker 1: Naughty and Nise Rob. A facebook page is Naughty Gossip

- 16:23Speaker 1: And now it's time for and nicest of the day.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Oh this is one of my favorites.
- 16:31Speaker 1: Rob. It's you what you've changed it? You little stinkers?
- 16:36Speaker 1: Is it in the script mark? It's not in this.
- 16:37Speaker 2: I'm very naughty.
- 16:38Speaker 1: I'll go with it.
- 16:39Speaker 2: So, of course this is dedicated to your first novel,
- 16:42Speaker 2: and it's having Hollywood buzzing and insiders are sweating that
- 16:46Speaker 2: they really are, So move over, Devil Worst Prada. There's
- 16:49Speaker 2: a new guilty pleasure in town and it's sharper, sexier
- 16:52Speaker 2: and aimed straight at the heart of fame. Celebrity insider,
- 16:56Speaker 2: columnist and VH one gossip table hose Rob Shooter has
- 16:59Speaker 2: sold his debut novel and it's started with the whisper
- 17:02Speaker 2: as the title, and the buzz is already absolutely deafening.
- 17:05Speaker 2: Answers started saying what the double worst product did for fashion?
- 17:09Speaker 2: It started with a whisper? Does for gossip? It does
- 17:13Speaker 2: it's very juicy, it's dangerously real and a glamorous page
- 17:17Speaker 2: turner about fame, friendship, and betrayal, and it's rob I'm
- 17:20Speaker 2: so excited for this book. It's gonna be awesome.
- 17:22Speaker 1: Thank you. The buzz is really great. So what happened
- 17:25Speaker 1: is my publisher it doesn't come out to April, but
- 17:27Speaker 1: my publisher is like, you've got to do some press now,
- 17:29Speaker 1: because pre orders on Amazon is everything. If you can
- 17:32Speaker 1: sell a couple of thousand books on Amazon before the
- 17:34Speaker 1: book even comes out, it puts you in a very
- 17:36Speaker 1: good position to have a hit. And so I just
- 17:38Speaker 1: did a little bit of press, not that much, but
- 17:41Speaker 1: friends reached out to me, my friends at Radar, at Wonderworld.
- 17:44Speaker 1: At page six came out, Elvis Duran has plugged the
- 17:47Speaker 1: book Rosanna Scotto and so thank you, thank you, thank you.
- 17:50Speaker 1: I just was going to put up a picture of
- 17:52Speaker 1: the cover on my Instagram and pin it, so it's
- 17:55Speaker 1: the first picture, and so I did that and then
- 17:58Speaker 1: people went nuts. And now the bus is really exciting.
- 18:01Speaker 1: So a lot of people are nervous about who I'm
- 18:04Speaker 1: gossiping about. So there's already been not not legal threats,
- 18:09Speaker 1: but there's been a few few interest, a little bit
- 18:12Speaker 1: of interest from a few lawyers. Boy, thank you so much.
- 18:17Speaker 1: If you do have a minute and you want to
- 18:19Speaker 1: do me a solid, please go to Amazon. Type in
- 18:22Speaker 1: rob Shooter, type in it started with a whisper. I
- 18:25Speaker 1: think it's seventeen eighteen dollars. You can pre order it
- 18:28Speaker 1: now and in April you'll forget you've even ordered it.
- 18:31Speaker 1: And in April it will turn up on your doorstep
- 18:33Speaker 1: as a little surprise, and you will be guaranteed to
- 18:35Speaker 1: get it when it first comes out. So if you
- 18:37Speaker 1: have a minute today, if you could do that, I'd
- 18:39Speaker 1: be really grateful. Mark. That's a lovely thing for you
- 18:41Speaker 1: to do. Thank you for plugging me and my book.
- 18:44Speaker 1: And now I naughty is of the day, Naughty, naughty, naughty.
- 18:47Speaker 1: David Beckham finally got knighted, only after he cut ties
- 18:50Speaker 1: with Meghan and Harry's that's right to David always wanted
- 18:53Speaker 1: to be ninety, but he's too friendly with the Sussex Is.
- 18:55Speaker 1: Remember there were friends, and then Megan accused Victoria of
- 18:58Speaker 1: gossiping behind her back, of almost leaking stories. They had
- 19:02Speaker 1: a huge fallout. Well guess who David and Victoria are
- 19:05Speaker 1: best friends with now Kate and William, and suddenly you
- 19:10Speaker 1: get a title. This is how the world works, my friends.
- 19:13Speaker 1: After the titles of wards are not given out on merit,
- 19:17Speaker 1: but on who you know, who you're friends with. Oh
- 19:20Speaker 1: it's shady, shady, shady, No, it is the dailer's then
- 19:23Speaker 1: with a moment of rubbi a rubber. Being challenged in
- 19:26Speaker 1: life is inevitable. Being defeated that is optional. Hard moments
- 19:31Speaker 1: aren't a something that you're on the wrong path. They're
- 19:33Speaker 1: actually a confirmation that you are growing. Challenges are part
- 19:36Speaker 1: of the deal. Life will push you, it always does.
- 19:38Speaker 1: It will stretch you, will frustrate you, and sometimes it
- 19:41Speaker 1: knocks your flat out. But defeat that's not something life
- 19:46Speaker 1: gives you. That's something you accept. You don't control every
- 19:50Speaker 1: obviouslycle but you do control your response. You can get
- 19:53Speaker 1: back up, you can try again, you can pivot, you
- 19:56Speaker 1: can turn the lesson into leverage. The people you admired
- 20:00Speaker 1: the most aren't lucky. They're relentless. They refuse to let
- 20:04Speaker 1: us set back become the ending. And that's the difference.
- 20:08Speaker 1: So when life challenges you, and it will tighten your grip,
- 20:12Speaker 1: take that hit. Learn the lesson and stand up anyway,
- 20:15Speaker 1: because once again, strength isn't built in comfort, it's built
- 20:19Speaker 1: in resistance. Challenge is guaranteed, Defeat is a choice. Hey,
- 20:25Speaker 1: that is it for today. Thank you so much for
- 20:27Speaker 1: listening to The Naughty Bit Nice with Rob and Mark show,
