- 0:10Speaker 5: Buck Mary Kill wide shot, two shot, close up.
- 0:13Speaker 3: This is on artists on artists on artists.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Do you know why they call it show business? I
- 0:19Speaker 2: always wonder that.
- 0:26Speaker 3: Welcome back to artists on artists on artists on artists,
- 0:29Speaker 3: and it's all about houses today.
- 0:31Speaker 5: House of Gucci is one of the most popular movies
- 0:33Speaker 5: that has ever been made, garnering oscar buzz and generating
- 0:39Speaker 5: lots of talk about US performers. But another movie about
- 0:44Speaker 5: another popular clothing line also came out at the same time,
- 0:49Speaker 5: and we have that team here in the studio.
- 0:52Speaker 6: That's right, the creative team behind House of ll Bean
- 0:57Speaker 6: are here to promote their new movie.
- 1:00Speaker 4: Now, sit down and relax and enjoy House of Llban
- 1:05Speaker 4: cast and crew.
- 1:07Speaker 3: Hello. I'm Jeff Jeffries and I played Tony Bean.
- 1:11Speaker 4: Hello, I'm Sabrina Catching and I directed this little film.
- 1:18Speaker 5: My name Miss Walter Walter Gunn and I played Leon
- 1:27Speaker 5: Leon wood Bean, the creator of Ellbean.
- 1:33Speaker 6: Hi, I'm e Fie Jacobs and I was the costume
- 1:37Speaker 6: designer for House of ll Bean, and I'm really excited
- 1:43Speaker 6: for people to see this movie. I don't know about
- 1:45Speaker 6: you guys. I know we've been overshadowed by a bigger
- 1:49Speaker 6: movie tragically, but I think that our little movie has
- 1:53Speaker 6: a lot to offer.
- 1:55Speaker 4: I think our movie is a little nugget for movies
- 2:01Speaker 4: and stories about a small brand who's a giant. What's
- 2:05Speaker 4: good about ellll Bean is they are a giant in
- 2:08Speaker 4: the fashion world, but you don't know.
- 2:11Speaker 2: You don't know exactly.
- 2:13Speaker 6: You don't know it because the client tell who are
- 2:17Speaker 6: wearing House of Elllbean?
- 2:19Speaker 2: Are you know?
- 2:21Speaker 6: Their East Coast mothers and fathers, and they're rather cold.
- 2:25Speaker 6: I would say the Yellllbean client is a cold client.
- 2:28Speaker 5: You know it. If you go to Maine, you know it.
- 2:30Speaker 5: If you walk into a bookstore, you know it. If
- 2:33Speaker 5: you're in a coffee shop, you know it. If you
- 2:35Speaker 5: are at a niece's.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Wedding, you know it.
- 2:42Speaker 4: If you're tired, you know what.
- 2:44Speaker 6: If you're sitting around campfire and you know it. If
- 2:49Speaker 6: your aunt gave you a Christmas gift and it's a turtleneck,
- 2:53Speaker 6: you know it.
- 2:54Speaker 3: Then I only found out about it when I signed
- 2:56Speaker 3: on to the movie.
- 2:57Speaker 4: And it was amazing when we added you onto a movie,
- 3:00Speaker 4: both of you. It was it was so exciting because
- 3:04Speaker 4: we were looking for cast for for a while a while.
- 3:08Speaker 3: Once I heard that Walter Gunn was doing the movie,
- 3:10Speaker 3: I said, come in. I want to see how this
- 3:12Speaker 3: guy plays, you know, I want to see how this
- 3:14Speaker 3: guy moves. I want to see how he fights.
- 3:17Speaker 4: And Leon Leon Wood is he carities the story of Ellen.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Leon Leon would be the founder.
- 3:26Speaker 5: Of LL real name founding man. I mean, when I
- 3:30Speaker 5: found out that this guy's name was Leon Leon would Be,
- 3:33Speaker 5: I was hooked. You know, that's all I needed to know.
- 3:36Speaker 5: I said, that sounds like an interesting guy. So I
- 3:38Speaker 5: did some research. You know, he was born around nineteen thirteen,
- 3:42Speaker 5: and uh, and they've been they've been making you know,
- 3:45Speaker 5: they made boots first. He's the kind of guy where
- 3:48Speaker 5: one hundred percent money back, and they got him into
- 3:51Speaker 5: a little bit of trouble, you know, because if something
- 3:54Speaker 5: went wrong, you know, he'd give he'd give you your
- 3:57Speaker 5: money back. And I just thought that was so interesting.
- 4:01Speaker 5: He'd give you your money back if it didn't work out.
- 4:04Speaker 5: And uh, that's you know, that's all I needed to
- 4:08Speaker 5: know to make a full fledged character choice.
- 4:11Speaker 6: And he's an honest man.
- 4:13Speaker 5: He's a good man, and he's making boots and then
- 4:16Speaker 5: he's making jackets, and and then all the drama with
- 4:20Speaker 5: his you know, son Tony. When I want to be
- 4:22Speaker 5: clear that the character Tony Bean was invented for the movie.
- 4:26Speaker 2: You know, we take artistic liberties.
- 4:27Speaker 3: Yeah, a false character, a false son character.
- 4:30Speaker 4: Shout out to our screenwriter, Aaron uh a titan of
- 4:37Speaker 4: our industry, Say who who didn't want to take on
- 4:40Speaker 4: this story? It took me a while. I know him
- 4:45Speaker 4: from my niece. My niece slept with him.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Okay, and.
- 4:53Speaker 5: My niece this story.
- 4:55Speaker 2: Know how this came to be, Well, my.
- 4:58Speaker 4: Nie slept with him. And when she slept with him,
- 5:04Speaker 4: my niece, we we had Thanksgiving and we were sitting
- 5:07Speaker 4: around and she was talking about her conquests of the
- 5:12Speaker 4: past year, being thankful for.
- 5:14Speaker 6: So you go around the table, you say what you're
- 5:15Speaker 6: thankful for, and then you say your conquest.
- 5:17Speaker 4: Well she does. She's young. So she's a young girl.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Give us an age conquest.
- 5:29Speaker 4: She's a young girl. She's a young girl and we're
- 5:34Speaker 4: sitting God, she was she's a young lad, and we're
- 5:38Speaker 4: sitting down and we were talking about the conquests, and
- 5:43Speaker 4: she said, I slept with the pizza man. I slept
- 5:48Speaker 4: with a marathon runner. I slept with a screenwriter. And
- 5:53Speaker 4: I said, knowing in the back of my head, I
- 5:56Speaker 4: have three projects in development, of course, one of which
- 5:59Speaker 4: I can not find a writer for ll Bean story
- 6:02Speaker 4: of Leon the Young wood beeen. I'm so, I said,
- 6:06Speaker 4: who is this screenwriter you slept with? She said, eron Shock.
- 6:12Speaker 4: And I said, let me shoot my shot and let
- 6:16Speaker 4: me ask if I can have his phone number? And boy,
- 6:21Speaker 4: was it a hunt.
- 6:23Speaker 6: That's so interesting because you're very well connected in the industry,
- 6:27Speaker 6: I would say, but you needed your niece to sleep
- 6:29Speaker 6: with him in order to get his contact info.
- 6:32Speaker 2: That's just very surprising to me.
- 6:33Speaker 5: Niece has kind of got this movie made, is what
- 6:36Speaker 5: I'm noticing. You know, an that we're talking.
- 6:38Speaker 3: My niece told me that you were signed on. That's
- 6:41Speaker 3: how I joined. Your niece is my manager, Yeah, my
- 6:43Speaker 3: niece is your manager.
- 6:44Speaker 5: At your niece Yes, yeah, yeah.
- 6:48Speaker 3: My niece is a manager at CIA. She's one of
- 6:53Speaker 3: the youngest managers ever. We have a situation where I'm
- 6:56Speaker 3: a young son and I have an older, older brother.
- 6:59Speaker 5: Listen, I am really into crypto. So I'm all about disruptors,
- 7:04Speaker 5: and I know that the young people are going to
- 7:07Speaker 5: be the ones running this industry. And I said, I
- 7:10Speaker 5: want a disruptor, and I want a sixteen year old manager.
- 7:14Speaker 2: Niches.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Are the disruptors of the industry or your nichees?
- 7:17Speaker 3: Are you?
- 7:17Speaker 4: BM?
- 7:18Speaker 5: Yes?
- 7:19Speaker 6: Yes, and she was famously well, I think we can
- 7:23Speaker 6: talk about it.
- 7:23Speaker 2: She was fired for.
- 7:25Speaker 6: Leaking scenes to YouTube for her own personal YouTube page.
- 7:30Speaker 4: People don't know that if you leak something that people
- 7:33Speaker 4: don't want to see, it's still leaking.
- 7:37Speaker 2: It's still leads.
- 7:38Speaker 6: So video has one hundred and fifty views on YouTube.
- 7:44Speaker 3: What is this?
- 7:45Speaker 2: Yes, people leak, but it's a breach of trust. Yeah,
- 7:48Speaker 2: I need to breach Star trust.
- 7:49Speaker 4: And that's what happened with our HR department. They said,
- 7:52Speaker 4: this isn't technically a leak. This isn't that marvel when
- 7:55Speaker 4: someone leaked a man. I said, this is a leak.
- 7:59Speaker 6: This is It's if a tree falls in the forest
- 8:01Speaker 6: but no one's there to hear it. If you if
- 8:03Speaker 6: you post a link of a movie that is a
- 8:05Speaker 6: quieter movie, I wouldn't say that We're a low performing movie.
- 8:09Speaker 6: I would say that we were overshadowed by certain other
- 8:13Speaker 6: films that maybe you know, not to say the name of.
- 8:16Speaker 1: The beast, but how some of Gucci House of Gucci.
- 8:19Speaker 6: Contained a murder. But they're relying on cheap tricks. They're
- 8:23Speaker 6: relying on a murder to carry the story. We're relying
- 8:26Speaker 6: on the drama of turtleneck design, certainly not.
- 8:30Speaker 5: Relying on prosthetics. By the way, Jared Leto looks exactly
- 8:35Speaker 5: like me in that makeup.
- 8:38Speaker 6: We couldn't which you should have guessed, were you up
- 8:41Speaker 6: for that?
- 8:44Speaker 5: And they said we I think we're thinking of going
- 8:46Speaker 5: with someone younger. And I said, it makes sense, and
- 8:48Speaker 5: then they said, on the inside, that's fruit.
- 8:52Speaker 4: What's crazy is you were in tons of makeup and
- 8:58Speaker 4: prosthetic to get you looking younger.
- 9:01Speaker 3: Yeah, so when.
- 9:02Speaker 5: For the tape, we could have told you this.
- 9:04Speaker 4: We could have just switched you, switched you out, but
- 9:07Speaker 4: it was your that was good.
- 9:09Speaker 2: You know, I probably don't know.
- 9:10Speaker 3: Go ahead.
- 9:11Speaker 5: I's just frustrating to watch character actors nowadays be the
- 9:15Speaker 5: pretty boys. You know. Let's I don't want to say
- 9:18Speaker 5: the thing that you know no one's talking about, but
- 9:20Speaker 5: Jared Leto was forty nine years old. He's actually a
- 9:23Speaker 5: year older than me, but I look like an old
- 9:26Speaker 5: Bert Buccant of spaghetti.
- 9:28Speaker 4: Oh my niece is almost fourteen.
- 9:30Speaker 3: Really okay, that's so good that.
- 9:35Speaker 2: I'm very happy to hear that she was a younger.
- 9:38Speaker 4: Remembered you asked her age and I this.
- 9:42Speaker 3: Is this is what I'm picturing him. Head for your
- 9:45Speaker 3: parents had a very old daughter and then maybe thirty
- 9:49Speaker 3: to forty years later had you. In the time you're
- 9:53Speaker 3: because how old are you?
- 9:55Speaker 4: You did so much work to change I got it.
- 9:59Speaker 5: On the on would be mentality we can talk about.
- 10:04Speaker 4: Which is a mentality?
- 10:05Speaker 5: Well, he was bootsman, he was a virgerator, he was
- 10:09Speaker 5: out in the road.
- 10:09Speaker 3: We're just gonna completely ignore that age question.
- 10:12Speaker 5: He worked and he was out in the field.
- 10:16Speaker 4: And some people think maybe movies are made with protagonists
- 10:20Speaker 4: like House of Gucci that are more erratic or passionate.
- 10:25Speaker 4: But this movie is about a working man. Working men
- 10:29Speaker 4: are hard for protagonism because all they do is head down.
- 10:32Speaker 6: What Sabrina, I think it's very brave of you to
- 10:35Speaker 6: make a movie about a quiet man. For me, as
- 10:39Speaker 6: a costume designer, it was very exciting to dress quiet man,
- 10:44Speaker 6: especially one who's very plain, whose clothes are very plain.
- 10:48Speaker 2: It was really it was really good.
- 10:50Speaker 6: And you know, yes, my sister was the costume designer
- 10:53Speaker 6: on House of Gucci. Yes, we were both up for it.
- 10:55Speaker 6: But I think I actually prefer this. I think it's
- 10:59Speaker 6: really great. I think it's really great. And some would
- 11:01Speaker 6: call me bitter, but I don't think I'm bitter at all.
- 11:03Speaker 6: I don't think I'm bitter at all.
- 11:05Speaker 3: So why don't we I've got a good question. Why
- 11:06Speaker 3: don't we say the year that we graduated high school.
- 11:11Speaker 3: I'm thirty four, so I graduated in roughly two thousand
- 11:15Speaker 3: and four. Anybody else want to jump on this one?
- 11:20Speaker 2: Well, I've did. Okay, I'm thirty four. I graduated in
- 11:23Speaker 2: two thousand and four.
- 11:26Speaker 5: I'm forty eight, which means I graduated high school. Oh
- 11:31Speaker 5: my god.
- 11:34Speaker 4: I graduated high school in a small little.
- 11:37Speaker 7: Town location, not the location high school.
- 11:44Speaker 5: The little Danish town outside of La.
- 11:46Speaker 4: There a little high school out today. That is where
- 11:49Speaker 4: I'm from, Sulvang. My great aunt is used to be
- 11:56Speaker 4: the mayor of Sulvang. And that's probably why I make
- 12:01Speaker 4: movies like this. I like the quiet Yes, yes, the
- 12:07Speaker 4: the quiet souls. I think that is a big part
- 12:10Speaker 4: of this middle act structure.
- 12:12Speaker 5: And I just want to hail you guys. Representation older
- 12:17Speaker 5: quiet men. There's been a lack of representation in the
- 12:20Speaker 5: film industry. Yes, and it's been really nice.
- 12:23Speaker 3: I think quiet men across the board, quiet.
- 12:24Speaker 5: Men across the board. We are seeing so much. And
- 12:27Speaker 5: as a quiet man, myself, proud quiet man. It's proud,
- 12:30Speaker 5: proud to be quiet.
- 12:32Speaker 6: I hate when they cast a loud man and a
- 12:34Speaker 6: quiet man role. You could tell when they're an extrovert
- 12:37Speaker 6: and they're just faking.
- 12:38Speaker 5: You can tell when they're when they're they're using their
- 12:41Speaker 5: muscles to force their mouth shut. There's a difference between
- 12:44Speaker 5: being naturally quiet and being forced quiet. I see a
- 12:47Speaker 5: big trick. I see a lot of a lot of
- 12:49Speaker 5: loud mouth actors. They hold their lips, They hold their
- 12:53Speaker 5: lips like they're thinking of a question, but you know
- 12:55Speaker 5: that they're they're not actually naturally quiet. I would say
- 12:58Speaker 5: there's only one loud actor and that's done good quiet acting,
- 13:01Speaker 5: and that's Bruce Dern and Nebraska.
- 13:03Speaker 3: He's great in that, yeah, but he's a loud motherfucker Otherwise,
- 13:06Speaker 3: he's inappropriate otherwise. Yeah, so we actually have a clip
- 13:10Speaker 3: of that, one of my favorite clips in the Nebraska, Nebraska.
- 13:13Speaker 3: We have actually a clip on Nebraska.
- 13:15Speaker 5: The movie.
- 13:15Speaker 6: I would love to, you know, distract for mother and
- 13:18Speaker 6: it's good to while we have this platform of one
- 13:20Speaker 6: hundred and fifty views on YouTube.
- 13:22Speaker 3: To kids play the sea where the grandma pee's on
- 13:26Speaker 3: the grave in Nebraska.
- 13:31Speaker 5: What are we doing on it?
- 13:34Speaker 3: Wow? Jard Okay, that was it. That was great. But
- 13:39Speaker 3: I also wanted to play another clip from our movie
- 13:42Speaker 3: and the scene where the two the son and the
- 13:44Speaker 3: father meet at the river, just a real the loveliest scene.
- 13:48Speaker 4: Oh yes, we shut this on thirty five.
- 13:54Speaker 5: Yeah, so now I don't know now, Oh my good god.
- 14:00Speaker 5: Oh Michael, your boots, your boots, now, your boots, Your
- 14:05Speaker 5: boots are all dirty now, m.
- 14:08Speaker 3: No, no, my boats are dirty, Doddy.
- 14:14Speaker 5: We've gotta got job some new boots now, y'all.
- 14:16Speaker 3: Song oh kind.
- 14:21Speaker 2: And I want to applaud Sabrina for your direction on this.
- 14:24Speaker 3: Because quiet scene.
- 14:25Speaker 6: I had no idea that the people in Maine in
- 14:29Speaker 6: nineteen twelve used that accent.
- 14:32Speaker 4: Thank you. I'm actually seventy one years old.
- 14:35Speaker 5: Oh she answers it. I think she always well.
- 14:38Speaker 4: I sometimes here the question a little like.
- 14:42Speaker 2: You're leaving little nuggets of Well.
- 14:46Speaker 3: Actually, I'll say the accents were mostly work between Gun
- 14:50Speaker 3: and I Walter. Yeah, you know, we didn't meet before
- 14:53Speaker 3: we showed up on set because you know, we're all busy.
- 14:55Speaker 3: Well works, and I also make the choice of I'm
- 14:58Speaker 3: going to do the work by myself, when I'm make
- 15:00Speaker 3: my choices by myself, I'm gonna do the research, and
- 15:02Speaker 3: then when I show up, I'm throwing it all away
- 15:05Speaker 3: because I just want to be there. So I had
- 15:07Speaker 3: been working on that accent with my vocal choice, Richard Rory,
- 15:10Speaker 3: for about, you know, six to eight months, just practicing
- 15:13Speaker 3: what a main accent could sound like. And that's what
- 15:18Speaker 3: we ended up with with this really robust nineteen twelve
- 15:21Speaker 3: main sounding accents where they really open up the gut,
- 15:25Speaker 3: the guttural, and they open up the gut and you
- 15:28Speaker 3: basically sing a song and you can really.
- 15:30Speaker 6: Hear you doing that in the main confrontation scene at
- 15:34Speaker 6: the very end of the movie where they're arguing about
- 15:37Speaker 6: which color turtleneck to put in their fall live.
- 15:40Speaker 3: And this was the crux of the movie. This was
- 15:42Speaker 3: the biggest emotional thing was the movie builds to a
- 15:46Speaker 3: father son's fight about which color a turtleneck could be.
- 15:49Speaker 6: And it's as from a fashion perspective, it's very interesting
- 15:51Speaker 6: because you had the old school, you know, sort of
- 15:55Speaker 6: like burnt umber tones of turtleneck, and then you have
- 15:58Speaker 6: the new wave of people who want who want blue turtlenecks,
- 16:02Speaker 6: and it caused a huge division in the East Coast
- 16:05Speaker 6: fashion industry.
- 16:07Speaker 5: Really disrupted everything money versus money.
- 16:11Speaker 3: Well, let's play that clip. If you guys don't mind,
- 16:13Speaker 3: I would love to see myself act.
- 16:16Speaker 5: What do you think, sore.
- 16:19Speaker 7: Or nay oh nani? I think when he has something different?
- 16:29Speaker 7: Abergeene m abergine, mm hmmm, pastels, dunny.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Mister bean. Mister Bean, the representative from J. C. Penny
- 16:43Speaker 1: is at the door and she needs to know which.
- 16:46Speaker 7: Color, Daddy, which one are we going to choose? I
- 16:52Speaker 7: think it should be a pistel color.
- 16:55Speaker 5: I don't.
- 16:58Speaker 3: This is why Land.
- 17:03Speaker 4: When he declares that the region the family isn't together,
- 17:08Speaker 4: is this underneath the subtext of fashion?
- 17:13Speaker 5: I quiver I thought that was brave that that's the
- 17:16Speaker 5: first time that's even mentioned.
- 17:19Speaker 3: In the room.
- 17:20Speaker 4: Also, we should we should acknowledge Gala Gado for that.
- 17:25Speaker 3: For not playing the mother, for playing the secretary that
- 17:31Speaker 3: was another woman, my niece.
- 17:36Speaker 4: Because of course, ah, dude, Gala Gado and did our
- 17:45Speaker 4: movie for She said, you can come on for a
- 17:46Speaker 4: couple of hours, So we did that.
- 17:49Speaker 6: Okay, So she was two hours later to set and
- 17:51Speaker 6: it was because she was having sex with your kniece.
- 17:53Speaker 5: I think we're gonna get the handle later. I think
- 17:55Speaker 5: we're going to leave it. I think we can leave
- 17:57Speaker 5: it for now.
- 17:58Speaker 3: We'll come back.
- 17:58Speaker 5: This is how I've learned. I wanted to bring up
- 18:01Speaker 5: how starkly different Aaron's tone is.
- 18:10Speaker 3: It was a real departure for well, it just feels
- 18:13Speaker 3: like he wrote it as a chore, like he had
- 18:16Speaker 3: to write it otherwise he'd be canceled.
- 18:18Speaker 5: I wouldn't say that. I love working with Aaron.
- 18:20Speaker 3: I love the script. With thirty pages, it was mostly
- 18:24Speaker 3: scene directions going god no.
- 18:26Speaker 5: And that's when it really hit me, Oh, this guy's
- 18:27Speaker 5: kind of a silent type, this character, because there just
- 18:29Speaker 5: weren't a lot of lines.
- 18:30Speaker 6: Yeah, because I mean, this is a thirty page script,
- 18:32Speaker 6: you still have to fill ninety minutes, and so so
- 18:35Speaker 6: much of it was just b roll of ll Bean
- 18:38Speaker 6: stores and the clothes on the racks, and so that
- 18:40Speaker 6: made my job very difficult. I had to find hours
- 18:44Speaker 6: worth of material.
- 18:46Speaker 5: Some might say, some might say that the costumes are character.
- 18:49Speaker 3: In this peak.
- 18:50Speaker 6: I would say the costumes are a character in this
- 18:52Speaker 6: because you worked at a lot, you know, And this
- 18:55Speaker 6: was a This was a very intentional choice because I
- 18:58Speaker 6: wanted to, you know, display this tension between Leon leon
- 19:01Speaker 6: would Be and his son, Tony Bean, and it.
- 19:05Speaker 2: Was it was a very intentional choice.
- 19:07Speaker 6: I don't know if you notice that Tony was always
- 19:09Speaker 6: wearing zip up LL Bean collection. It was, and Leon
- 19:13Speaker 6: Leon would Be famously hated the zip up.
- 19:16Speaker 2: He called it. He called it the devil's jacket.
- 19:19Speaker 3: And that's a really We worked on that for a
- 19:21Speaker 3: while because it was, you know, historically accurate. Yeah, even
- 19:24Speaker 3: though Tony was a made up character, it was historically
- 19:27Speaker 3: accurate that Leon Leon hated the zip Yes, I mean.
- 19:30Speaker 2: In the history of our movie, the way we wrote it.
- 19:32Speaker 5: He said, I remember reading a quote he said in
- 19:35Speaker 5: Harper's Bazaar. There will never be a zipper on my
- 19:37Speaker 5: jackets as long as I live. Nineteen seventy one.
- 19:41Speaker 3: Coming and I can't read any quotes from Tony No,
- 19:44Speaker 3: because he doesn't exist, and it's tough.
- 19:48Speaker 6: It's tough to get to see the feedback on the
- 19:51Speaker 6: movie from the Bean would the Bean Estate because.
- 19:55Speaker 2: They are very upset.
- 19:57Speaker 6: With the way, pretty upset.
- 20:00Speaker 2: The other estates of the.
- 20:01Speaker 6: Other fashion houses all came together and they said, we
- 20:04Speaker 6: don't like this.
- 20:05Speaker 3: I don't make up things.
- 20:06Speaker 5: I got an email from Linda Bean herself, no, the
- 20:12Speaker 5: current owner of LB. Oh, sorry, she said, She said,
- 20:19Speaker 5: I don't even think you guys did any research. I
- 20:23Speaker 5: don't think you guys looked into this. We know this
- 20:25Speaker 5: doesn't feel like this doesn't feel like a story about us.
- 20:29Speaker 5: Are you sure it's about us? And I think it
- 20:31Speaker 5: was confusing too because we couldn't use the logo in
- 20:33Speaker 5: the movie, so.
- 20:33Speaker 6: They It was a very confusing thing for me because
- 20:36Speaker 6: I had to sort of approximate it.
- 20:39Speaker 3: But well, that was true. We couldn't use the B
- 20:41Speaker 3: in LL be, so we used a thirteen that's very
- 20:44Speaker 3: close to each other.
- 20:45Speaker 2: L Yeah three LL thirteen een.
- 20:48Speaker 4: Was how did you think of that idea?
- 20:51Speaker 2: Well, you know it was born out of necessity.
- 20:53Speaker 3: I was up to you the costume make that call, right, Yes,
- 20:57Speaker 3: when I.
- 20:57Speaker 2: Got this job.
- 20:58Speaker 6: I thought, honestly, what a godsend. When you're making a
- 21:02Speaker 6: movie about an existing fashion line, all that's available to
- 21:06Speaker 6: you are those clothes, So it's a It makes your
- 21:09Speaker 6: job a lot easier.
- 21:10Speaker 2: But then you throw the curveball of this.
- 21:13Speaker 6: We do not have the rights to the logo, and
- 21:16Speaker 6: suddenly I'm running this sort of sweatshop where all these
- 21:21Speaker 6: girls are embroidering LL thirteen een jackets, and the real
- 21:27Speaker 6: fashion heads we'll notice, and it's upsetting.
- 21:31Speaker 3: Talking about that. One of my favorite clips is when
- 21:33Speaker 3: we get you know, the father and the son are
- 21:35Speaker 3: talking just in the first one of the first LL
- 21:38Speaker 3: Beean houses. Yes, maybe we could see that clip too,
- 21:40Speaker 3: because I do love Oh.
- 21:42Speaker 2: Yes, this was when they opened their flagship store.
- 21:44Speaker 4: Yes, Galcado met.
- 21:46Speaker 2: My knee and there it is. There it is they.
- 21:51Speaker 4: Met on a walk.
- 21:54Speaker 2: Were walking.
- 21:55Speaker 3: Okay, let's list is in the star.
- 22:04Speaker 1: Is everything in the interior design to your liking.
- 22:07Speaker 2: Mister Bean, and mister Bean look at us.
- 22:11Speaker 5: A while ago I was making knees in my onnic.
- 22:16Speaker 5: Now we got a saw in Boston.
- 22:20Speaker 7: This is very nice and it feels like a church
- 22:25Speaker 7: in the name of the Father and of the Son
- 22:30Speaker 7: and the.
- 22:31Speaker 5: House of Thirteen.
- 22:35Speaker 2: Yeah, that was right. We couldn't even say the name
- 22:37Speaker 2: of el Bean in this movie, but.
- 22:39Speaker 4: I remember Shane, one of them say it, the other
- 22:43Speaker 4: one talk over and let's take our chances. So one
- 22:47Speaker 4: of us, I've also got Bean and one of them
- 22:51Speaker 4: say fearless director.
- 22:54Speaker 2: And when we.
- 22:55Speaker 4: Are on if they should wash, we'll say it's like
- 22:58Speaker 4: the red dress, the blue dress, the yellow dress. You
- 23:01Speaker 4: hear one the red blue dress.
- 23:03Speaker 2: You guys know that things Internet trenders.
- 23:07Speaker 4: Yes, with the red, in the blue and in the yellow.
- 23:10Speaker 3: So I've got a lot of questions about your directing
- 23:12Speaker 3: and style because working with you was amazing and I
- 23:14Speaker 3: really felt inspired, you know, it was it was it
- 23:17Speaker 3: was once in a lifetime to get to work with.
- 23:19Speaker 5: Somebody like far too short.
- 23:21Speaker 3: How do you approach a project like this?
- 23:24Speaker 4: Well it was I have three I had three projects
- 23:28Speaker 4: in development that was suckling.
- 23:31Speaker 3: Right, No, not yeah, because she's going to answer it later.
- 23:35Speaker 8: We're going to see on this one what this could
- 23:38Speaker 8: go either way?
- 23:40Speaker 4: Ah, So I have three projects in development. One the
- 23:44Speaker 4: Origin Story of the Succulent working with Pixel, the House
- 23:51Speaker 4: of ll Beam.
- 23:53Speaker 3: I've got really quick your question about it. The circulents
- 23:55Speaker 3: are one of the oldest plants in the history of
- 23:57Speaker 3: the world. They're actually older than most things. It's an
- 24:00Speaker 3: origin story.
- 24:01Speaker 5: Which sounds like you're interested and you need to see
- 24:03Speaker 5: the movie.
- 24:04Speaker 3: Good call. You keep going, you're.
- 24:05Speaker 5: Advertising for the movie.
- 24:07Speaker 4: What's everyone working on?
- 24:09Speaker 5: I want to hear the third project you're working on?
- 24:18Speaker 2: She was losing.
- 24:21Speaker 6: I will say it was very hard to work with
- 24:23Speaker 6: you on site at times, Sabrina, and I love you
- 24:25Speaker 6: and I respect you as a director, but I would
- 24:27Speaker 6: come to you with two options, and I would say
- 24:29Speaker 6: which jacket, and then you'd say, you know, my niece
- 24:32Speaker 6: worked at Target for a season, and then I'd have
- 24:35Speaker 6: to wait two hours for the answer, and then we're
- 24:37Speaker 6: just burning daylight.
- 24:39Speaker 3: Yes, we burnt a lot of daylight.
- 24:41Speaker 4: Yes, but I am pretty good at answering some question
- 24:50Speaker 4: some I don't.
- 24:52Speaker 5: We're dear friends. Were working with you is a pleasure again,
- 24:57Speaker 5: I mean we were, we worked. We met in college.
- 25:00Speaker 5: We went to UC Riverside together, and we were both
- 25:03Speaker 5: were studying things that we're not doing. Now.
- 25:07Speaker 3: What were you guys studying?
- 25:08Speaker 4: I was studying the brain.
- 25:10Speaker 3: Yes, it's very different.
- 25:14Speaker 5: I was studying pre med.
- 25:16Speaker 3: I was both in the medical field.
- 25:20Speaker 2: And what made you change.
- 25:21Speaker 5: We met actually on when we were on a rotation
- 25:25Speaker 5: for nurses.
- 25:26Speaker 3: So you guys were really heavily in there. You were
- 25:28Speaker 3: not even pre met. You were met.
- 25:32Speaker 5: We saw a man die very dramatically, and I think
- 25:35Speaker 5: I changed us in a way where I said, I'm
- 25:37Speaker 5: going to try that.
- 25:39Speaker 4: And that is what the third project in development is.
- 25:45Speaker 4: It is about two young men students watching Amanda.
- 25:51Speaker 5: I hope I can audition for that.
- 25:53Speaker 4: I hope you can talk to my Nie.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Is she in charge now?
- 25:58Speaker 3: No?
- 25:58Speaker 4: But I use her to hie.
- 26:03Speaker 6: Oh hold Jesus, are you implying? Are you implying that
- 26:06Speaker 6: he has to have sex with your niece order to
- 26:08Speaker 6: hire you?
- 26:09Speaker 4: No, that would be very.
- 26:11Speaker 5: Why would it be illegal?
- 26:15Speaker 3: You're seventy one. I thought the niece was older now,
- 26:18Speaker 3: but now illegal.
- 26:19Speaker 4: For me to say to get a job on my show,
- 26:22Speaker 4: you need to sleep with me.
- 26:23Speaker 3: Yes, yes, okay, okay, I agree with you.
- 26:25Speaker 5: You're the same age, she's forty seven.
- 26:27Speaker 4: It's not the age.
- 26:28Speaker 3: It's me saying you have to Sorry, you're forty seven.
- 26:32Speaker 3: Medical school.
- 26:32Speaker 5: We were in a medical school. She was going back.
- 26:35Speaker 5: She was in her fifties.
- 26:36Speaker 4: I was studying the brain because I couldn't figure mine out.
- 26:40Speaker 5: I want to know what goes into being a costumer.
- 26:43Speaker 4: Yes, and how you started, because I find you and
- 26:46Speaker 4: your sister both titans of our industry.
- 26:48Speaker 2: Yes. Well, I've been living in her shadow a little bit.
- 26:52Speaker 6: Uh, I will say, she, did you know Captain the Great.
- 26:58Speaker 2: Phantom Bread?
- 26:59Speaker 6: You know all these movies that are really guarded as
- 27:03Speaker 6: big fashion.
- 27:03Speaker 5: Movies, Elizabeth favorite of hers.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Yeah, I would.
- 27:07Speaker 6: I would call, I would call, and I would say, Melissa,
- 27:11Speaker 6: can you get me in there? And she said sure, sure, sure, sure, sure,
- 27:16Speaker 6: sure show up at this address. And I went there
- 27:19Speaker 6: for what I thought was an interview for a new
- 27:23Speaker 6: Spielberg movie. It was a job interview to be an
- 27:26Speaker 6: assistant manager at a gap And I said why why
- 27:31Speaker 6: did you do this? And she said it's a job opportunity.
- 27:33Speaker 6: I said, I would get you a job, and I delivered.
- 27:36Speaker 6: She's a quiet woman. She's a quiet woman, and it's
- 27:39Speaker 6: it's tough to get through to her. So I've been
- 27:43Speaker 6: sort of on the.
- 27:44Speaker 1: Gap J Crew and Taylor Loft circuit.
- 27:48Speaker 3: Is this your first movie?
- 27:50Speaker 6: I did a student film once, so this I should
- 27:54Speaker 6: have led with this. Honestly, this is a big opportunity
- 27:57Speaker 6: for me. This is a huge opportunity.
- 28:00Speaker 4: Were a big opportunity for my niece.
- 28:02Speaker 6: Okay, fine, the cat's out of the bag. I slept
- 28:07Speaker 6: with Sabrina's niece to get this job.
- 28:11Speaker 3: Was I the only one that was offer only with anyone?
- 28:16Speaker 5: Yes?
- 28:16Speaker 4: He was no friend.
- 28:19Speaker 5: I don't know anything about you. Nobody's asked what's going on?
- 28:28Speaker 3: Well, Tony, is my character's name? Have you forgotten my
- 28:31Speaker 3: real name? Anybody know my real name?
- 28:35Speaker 5: He must know his name me.
- 28:37Speaker 3: It's Jeff Jeffries. I'm actually a nephew of Jim Jefferies.
- 28:42Speaker 3: The Australian comedian oh Ronchi tells it like it is,
- 28:49Speaker 3: but sometimes it's two is, you know, but I grew
- 28:53Speaker 3: up two is.
- 28:55Speaker 4: Well. Aaron was the one that said, if I'm gonna
- 28:58Speaker 4: write something, I needed least somebody in there that I like.
- 29:02Speaker 3: And sorry, is this answer you pre question for you? Okay? Yeah, okay, and.
- 29:08Speaker 4: Understand why you did that. Aaron King loves you. You
- 29:12Speaker 4: guys have worked.
- 29:13Speaker 3: Together, yes, yes, well, Aaron Sorkin and I have worked
- 29:15Speaker 3: together for a couple of years. He was actually the
- 29:17Speaker 3: one that said, please do this movie for me. I
- 29:18Speaker 3: gotta and I said, I'm not doing it. And then I
- 29:20Speaker 3: saw Walter Gunn in there, and I said, I gotta
- 29:23Speaker 3: learn how this guy fight, you know, I gotta learn
- 29:25Speaker 3: how this guy play.
- 29:26Speaker 5: He said, let's hey put him up, put him up.
- 29:28Speaker 5: I was very Yeah, you have a very aggressive acting style.
- 29:32Speaker 3: I will, well, I want to, you know, you know,
- 29:36Speaker 3: tear down a wall in there, become human, become primal.
- 29:39Speaker 3: You know. I pull a lot from animals, I pull
- 29:40Speaker 3: a lot from real life. So I try to tear
- 29:43Speaker 3: down walls and tear down things. Most of that is
- 29:46Speaker 3: by men fighting, men fighting and women fighting. It's a
- 29:49Speaker 3: lot of fighting in my world. So what I try
- 29:51Speaker 3: to do when I approach your role is, you know,
- 29:53Speaker 3: come at it with force.
- 29:55Speaker 6: And I will say, you really did, literally come at
- 29:58Speaker 6: it with force. A lot of your clothes has had
- 30:00Speaker 6: holes in them. By the end, you're just ripping them
- 30:02Speaker 6: apart in your trailer. It was a pain in the
- 30:05Speaker 6: ass for.
- 30:06Speaker 3: Me to do that with the l bean fabric, very difficult.
- 30:10Speaker 6: Quite because it's a quality well, my fingers were bleeding.
- 30:13Speaker 2: Ean fabric was a little easier to rip.
- 30:17Speaker 3: Sometimes it was easier and sometimes it was harder. I
- 30:20Speaker 3: will say that sometimes it was a very very thin,
- 30:23Speaker 3: thin fiber thing, and sometimes it felt like canvas, you know.
- 30:26Speaker 3: Sometimes it felt very.
- 30:27Speaker 6: I had to I had to go to Michael's at
- 30:29Speaker 6: times and they would I would buy out their cloth
- 30:31Speaker 6: fabric and then I and then they said, well, I mean,
- 30:34Speaker 6: which is stretched?
- 30:35Speaker 3: Canvas? Is definitely not It's like a retail store. You
- 30:38Speaker 3: didn't buy it wholesale at all.
- 30:40Speaker 2: Sometimes this is my first job.
- 30:43Speaker 5: Sometimes I'd put on a shirt and I think this
- 30:45Speaker 5: might be made of per mache, and I'd move my
- 30:48Speaker 5: arms and it would rip an.
- 30:50Speaker 3: But thank you for asking about me. Usually I'm the
- 30:53Speaker 3: one that's asked all the questions because I'm a thirteen
- 30:55Speaker 3: time you know, winner of a lot of different things,
- 30:58Speaker 3: of which thanks. Oh, I have a Grammy and Academy Award,
- 31:02Speaker 3: a couple teen Choice Awards.
- 31:04Speaker 4: Spoken word album.
- 31:06Speaker 3: I had a spoken word album that I really Yes,
- 31:10Speaker 3: I couldn't. I couldn't, Okay, I could. Which one do
- 31:13Speaker 3: you guys want to hear?
- 31:14Speaker 5: Oh? How I Feel at the top?
- 31:17Speaker 2: Oh, the one that plays all the time on Kiss FM.
- 31:20Speaker 5: Yes, I love that kiss M spoken Words song.
- 31:23Speaker 3: Here's a little acappella read it's all.
- 31:28Speaker 2: It's always acapella.
- 31:32Speaker 3: How I feel at the top. One Wake up, two coffee,
- 31:40Speaker 3: three drive, three drive, three drive every day. Now, I'm
- 31:48Speaker 3: going to tell you one thing I learned when I
- 31:50Speaker 3: was at a hospital with a little girl named Yearn.
- 31:55Speaker 3: She was three and I was seventeen, and we were sick,
- 32:00Speaker 3: and one of us would make it out. One of
- 32:02Speaker 3: us would make it out one.
- 32:04Speaker 2: It's crazy to hear Yen live.
- 32:07Speaker 6: It bumped me when I heard it on the radio,
- 32:09Speaker 6: but to hear it live, it's just as crazy.
- 32:12Speaker 4: It bumped me too.
- 32:14Speaker 5: I tell you what bumps me on the radio when
- 32:16Speaker 5: I'm When I am in my car and listening to
- 32:18Speaker 5: the radio and someone's dry out.
- 32:20Speaker 3: Of nowhere, it's as a quiet man. It was almost
- 32:23Speaker 3: all of us that that went number one. It's a
- 32:26Speaker 3: chart topper. It would it would go one.
- 32:28Speaker 2: Republican before a song of the summer.
- 32:32Speaker 3: People were blasting get no background music. That's it. That's
- 32:35Speaker 3: just I'm glad I'm.
- 32:36Speaker 4: Not the only one that looks around and thinks someone's
- 32:38Speaker 4: asking me to drive, like maybe I'm at the light.
- 32:41Speaker 2: For two longs.
- 32:45Speaker 3: Well, thank you guys for bringing that up. That's so lovely.
- 32:48Speaker 3: That you guys listened to the album.
- 32:49Speaker 5: Yeah, I think you're very good.
- 32:52Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 32:53Speaker 5: I think I think in general, I think you should
- 32:56Speaker 5: learn how to be on, say with other people.
- 32:59Speaker 3: But what do you mean?
- 33:00Speaker 5: It was intense? It was intense to be kind of.
- 33:04Speaker 5: We all have different processes. You know. I worked, I
- 33:06Speaker 5: grew up in you know, I worked with Strasburg when
- 33:09Speaker 5: I was younger.
- 33:10Speaker 2: I grew up after medical school.
- 33:11Speaker 5: Working with and Yeah, same time, moonlighting on Moonlighting rug
- 33:17Speaker 5: go to New York on the weekends, take it to
- 33:18Speaker 5: hot classes and come back to Riverside.
- 33:20Speaker 4: It was romantic.
- 33:22Speaker 5: We were crazy.
- 33:24Speaker 3: Get to it? Why do I need to work on
- 33:25Speaker 3: what this it is? Huh?
- 33:29Speaker 5: Exactly what you just did to me? The kind of
- 33:31Speaker 5: get to it is? You don't talk like that too quiet? Well,
- 33:33Speaker 5: we gotta move on, Okay.
- 33:34Speaker 6: But it's a it's an aggressive it's aggressive, it's it's fast,
- 33:37Speaker 6: it's too much.
- 33:38Speaker 5: A choir members is allowed.
- 33:39Speaker 7: Man.
- 33:39Speaker 5: You see, you think that you're winning because you're allowed
- 33:42Speaker 5: of it, But in reality, I'm winning because I'm still here.
- 33:46Speaker 6: Wow, you quoted the last scene of the movie. Yeah,
- 33:49Speaker 6: you're quoting that scene where where you're handing over the
- 33:52Speaker 6: company on your deathbed.
- 33:53Speaker 3: Yeah, it was. It was two final scenes of the movie.
- 33:56Speaker 3: One the first final scene was the debate about the
- 33:59Speaker 3: the turtles.
- 34:00Speaker 6: This was the one that played after the credits. This
- 34:02Speaker 6: is the post credits bonus.
- 34:04Speaker 3: The post credit bonus is when he hands the company
- 34:07Speaker 3: to which is very They say.
- 34:09Speaker 4: You can't fire people for leaks unless you're a Marvel movie,
- 34:12Speaker 4: and you can't have a post credit tag unless you're
- 34:14Speaker 4: a Marvel movie.
- 34:15Speaker 3: And I said it was crazy because it wasn't even
- 34:18Speaker 3: a post credit tag. It was the most pivotal part
- 34:21Speaker 3: of the movie was post credits.
- 34:22Speaker 5: And I was I read that line you think that
- 34:24Speaker 5: you're winning because you're louder than me, but I'm winning
- 34:27Speaker 5: because I'm still here. And I thought, Aaron, where was
- 34:29Speaker 5: that the rest of the movie?
- 34:34Speaker 3: Beautiful line, the only.
- 34:36Speaker 2: Line Aaron, A really, really, really good line.
- 34:43Speaker 6: It was like he wrote this movie in his sleep
- 34:46Speaker 6: and then he woke up and then he said, I'll
- 34:48Speaker 6: use this for something else.
- 34:49Speaker 4: Sometimes he's accidentally himself when he's not trying to bomb something.
- 34:53Speaker 3: The second interea, when he's not trying to blow up something.
- 34:58Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, I it's.
- 35:00Speaker 5: Time talking about movie.
- 35:02Speaker 2: You're about to talk about the circular movie.
- 35:04Speaker 4: You're still arguing because you're a loud and I'm still
- 35:08Speaker 4: arguing because I'm here. Isn't that the line?
- 35:10Speaker 6: Yes?
- 35:13Speaker 3: So, so I guess what I'll do here in a
- 35:15Speaker 3: public forum is I would like to handle this straight
- 35:18Speaker 3: on and to the point. I apologize if I came
- 35:21Speaker 3: across aggressive. I apologize if I wronged you in any way.
- 35:25Speaker 3: I look up to your skill, I look up to
- 35:27Speaker 3: you as a performer, as an artist, and all I
- 35:29Speaker 3: want to do is fight that. I want to figure
- 35:32Speaker 3: it out. I want to be two bears on set,
- 35:36Speaker 3: ripping each other apart. And if that's not your style,
- 35:39Speaker 3: I can understand that and I can adapt.
- 35:42Speaker 5: One.
- 35:43Speaker 3: Here we go. Two, everybody, three?
- 35:47Speaker 5: Drive drive.
- 35:50Speaker 4: Oh I'm not in a car.
- 35:53Speaker 3: Sorry. I think somebody just played it. My phone sometimes

- 36:11Speaker 5: Hey Aaron, good to see you. What are you calling?
- 36:14Speaker 4: Jeff Jefferies walking down talking things. They'll tell you it's
- 36:18Speaker 4: just like a Mars Jupiter fight out here when we're
- 36:21Speaker 4: all just pushing in the fight.
- 36:22Speaker 3: We're trying to ask him a question.
- 36:27Speaker 2: No no, no no no no no no no no no.
- 36:30Speaker 2: I just wanted to know.
- 36:31Speaker 6: I was just curious to know where he was because
- 36:33Speaker 6: I thought he was supposed to come today.
- 36:35Speaker 2: This is his movie.
- 36:36Speaker 6: But it's almost like he was disappearing into the shadows.
- 36:39Speaker 6: It's almost like everyone involved with this movie except for us,
- 36:42Speaker 6: has run, has run very far.
- 36:44Speaker 2: Galgano is nowhere to be seen.
- 36:46Speaker 3: Well, to be fair, she only had a co star
- 36:48Speaker 3: in this movie.
- 36:50Speaker 2: Yes, that was rude. That was rude.
- 36:53Speaker 3: Where are you, Aaron? Where are you, buddy?
- 36:55Speaker 4: On an airplane going to save the going to save
- 36:58Speaker 4: the script that the Capitol had?
- 37:02Speaker 3: You're gonna going to an airplane to fly to the
- 37:06Speaker 3: Capitol to save a script, to save a script? Aaron, Aaron, buddy,
- 37:13Speaker 3: we'll never figure.
- 37:14Speaker 2: Out, never know, We'll never know, We'll never know.
- 37:17Speaker 6: But listen, I think, despite what you might be hearing
- 37:21Speaker 6: from a lot of people, yeah, thank you. I We've
- 37:25Speaker 6: got a tremendous glowing review from glowing review from Napping Monthly.
- 37:31Speaker 6: They said, this movie works. It does what it's intended
- 37:37Speaker 6: to do. I was out like a rock. It did
- 37:40Speaker 6: say that one low point was the scene where you
- 37:43Speaker 6: said the line where where it? Because it was it's
- 37:46Speaker 6: a good movie. It wakes you up and makes you think.
- 37:48Speaker 5: But they said at the end, maybe there's a good thing,
- 37:50Speaker 5: because that means I'm supposed to leave the theater because
- 37:53Speaker 5: it was post credits.
- 37:54Speaker 3: You read the review too.
- 37:56Speaker 5: I read every napping mostly.
- 37:59Speaker 2: And we had a quiet man. It's a good magazine.
- 38:02Speaker 5: It is the number one magazine amongst quiet men.
- 38:04Speaker 4: We had a good review from a big, tall and sleepy.
- 38:10Speaker 3: What was that? I didn't read this book A.
- 38:12Speaker 4: Great blog for taller men who are sleepy.
- 38:17Speaker 3: Oh that's a what is the review and the review?
- 38:24Speaker 2: Okay, we'll we'll find that out later. But we got I.
- 38:29Speaker 6: In the history of the LLBAN catalog. Now we have
- 38:32Speaker 6: made fashion history. They have never put out a movie review.
- 38:35Speaker 3: But they they made a full announcement.
- 38:38Speaker 2: They really were ripped us.
- 38:40Speaker 5: In the last page of the catalog, next to the socks,
- 38:44Speaker 5: they put out a full page negative review of this movie.
- 38:47Speaker 5: Linda Bean reviewed.
- 38:48Speaker 6: Herself and I thought that was rude. I thought that
- 38:52Speaker 6: was rude and unnecessary. Look, I'm proud of what we did.
- 38:54Speaker 4: Me too, big, tall, and lazy. They said this movie
- 38:59Speaker 4: slaps sleeps.
- 39:03Speaker 2: It's just that slang for sleepy people.
- 39:08Speaker 5: I would also say I I heard my sources tell
- 39:12Speaker 5: me that there's this new app called niece Chat, and
- 39:16Speaker 5: everyone on there loves this. Everyone loves our niece Chat.
- 39:19Speaker 3: It's a movie for nieces.
- 39:20Speaker 5: It's a movie for my nieces.
- 39:22Speaker 2: Nieces can watch with your niece.
- 39:25Speaker 5: Nieces to support other nieces.
- 39:27Speaker 3: There's not one niece mentioned in this movie, but it's
- 39:30Speaker 3: a movie four nieces nieces entire.
- 39:35Speaker 2: I'm personally not a niece to anyone.
- 39:37Speaker 4: We're here because of because of a n Yes, we
- 39:40Speaker 4: are because we are here because a niece, because a
- 39:43Speaker 4: niece took a chance on us.
- 39:46Speaker 3: A niece and a niece are main producer in thunder
- 39:49Speaker 3: A nice Jones.
- 39:52Speaker 5: You know. I always like to say. I like to say,
- 39:54Speaker 5: you can have a hundred nephews in a room and
- 39:57Speaker 5: all it takes is one niece.
- 39:59Speaker 4: I like to say, behind every man, there's a hard,
- 40:04Speaker 4: sletty working niece.
- 40:07Speaker 2: That's true.
- 40:09Speaker 6: Well, I'd love to go around and what's next for everybody?
- 40:14Speaker 2: What's next?
- 40:16Speaker 5: Oh, I'm taking the next six months off.
- 40:20Speaker 8: I got a house and now mon talk and I'm
- 40:25Speaker 8: gonna be up there being quiet, you know, just sitting
- 40:30Speaker 8: in chairs, getting up and groan and every time I move,
- 40:33Speaker 8: and drinking coffee in the morning and stout.
- 40:36Speaker 5: At night and sleepy.
- 40:38Speaker 2: Sounds like a character study.
- 40:40Speaker 5: I'm studying myself. I'm just learning about myself after forty
- 40:44Speaker 5: eight years of living. Because if I can't be me,
- 40:50Speaker 5: fucking Jared Leta will so I gotta know who I am.
- 40:53Speaker 1: True, you gotta take that. You gotta take what you
- 40:55Speaker 1: can get from him.
- 40:56Speaker 5: I swear to God. I saw him taking photos of
- 40:58Speaker 5: me through a window the other day, and I saw him.
- 41:00Speaker 5: I saw him with a really nice camera, the kind
- 41:02Speaker 5: of camera that people using VR when they when they
- 41:05Speaker 5: turn you know, computers into bodies. I swear to God,
- 41:10Speaker 5: he's trying to take my likeness. I swear to God.
- 41:13Speaker 5: Oh I don't know. I haven't told anyone that.
- 41:16Speaker 3: The next thing I'm working on is my new album.
- 41:19Speaker 3: Actually it's spoken Word plus one man scatting in the back.
- 41:21Speaker 3: It's gonna be a trip.
- 41:23Speaker 5: Are you doing the scatting too?
- 41:24Speaker 3: I'm also doing the scat live together. When I do
- 41:27Speaker 3: it live all, I'm gonna I have my friend Toby
- 41:30Speaker 3: Keith he's gonna be scatting live.
- 41:33Speaker 2: Oh, I've heard from him before.
- 41:35Speaker 5: I love booting your ass.
- 41:36Speaker 3: Ye great song, and that's why I was like, I
- 41:39Speaker 3: got to get this guy live scatting behind me as
- 41:41Speaker 3: I speak.
- 41:42Speaker 2: Now, do you consider yourself more of an actor, more.
- 41:44Speaker 3: Of a scatter I'm kind of somewhere in the middle,
- 41:46Speaker 3: you know, And I don't see. I don't see the
- 41:49Speaker 3: difference of two trades.
- 41:50Speaker 2: Check of trade.
- 41:53Speaker 4: Because your voice is so malleable what you did with
- 41:57Speaker 4: that dialect.
- 41:58Speaker 3: Thank you? Yeah, well, I you know, I love taking
- 42:00Speaker 3: a role with an accent. I love taking a role
- 42:02Speaker 3: that will put my voice somewhere else. It feels much easier.
- 42:05Speaker 3: I mean, I had one of my most famous roles.
- 42:07Speaker 3: The reason I won you know, my Kid's Teen Choice
- 42:09Speaker 3: Awards was when I played one of the members of

- 42:38Speaker 2: What will she be under decks?
- 42:40Speaker 5: Which she attaches to prepositions? I love a woman like that,
- 42:43Speaker 5: do Ellie.
- 42:43Speaker 4: What's going on for you?
- 42:45Speaker 6: Well, I'm currently wrapped up in a lawsuit. All of
- 42:49Speaker 6: the women, all of the women who worked on the
- 42:54Speaker 6: LL thirteen in line were not too happy with the
- 42:58Speaker 6: working conditions. They are alleging that it was sixteen to
- 43:03Speaker 6: eighteen hours at a time, just seen in hours at
- 43:08Speaker 6: a time. So I'm gonna be pretty busy with that.
- 43:12Speaker 6: My court data set for February twenty twenty two. And
- 43:16Speaker 6: they're not suing anyone else on the production. It seems
- 43:20Speaker 6: it seems it's only falling on me. Interesting. But yeah,
- 43:26Speaker 6: so look out for my court case. It'll be up
- 43:29Speaker 6: and available maybe where court cases are streamed.
- 43:32Speaker 5: Good it good to check it out.
- 43:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
