- 0:12Speaker 1: It's nice no no, no, no monk to the naughty
- 0:15Speaker 1: bernaisham your house drom shooter. It is Wednesday morning. Normally,
- 0:18Speaker 1: our friend Donnie joins us for technical issues. He can't
- 0:21Speaker 1: be with us today, so it's a solo show. But
- 0:23Speaker 1: don't worry. We've got a ton of gossip to get to.
- 0:25Speaker 1: What time is it, my friends? It is tea time,
- 0:28Speaker 1: big story at the top of the show. So Jeff
- 0:31Speaker 1: Bezos and Laurence Sanchez's wedding just a few days away.
- 0:35Speaker 1: It's turning into a little bit of a nightmare. So
- 0:38Speaker 1: plans are falling apart as guests are dropping out and Venice,
- 0:44Speaker 1: Europes in protests. Let me explain what I mean. So,
- 0:48Speaker 1: what was meant to be the wedding of the century
- 0:50Speaker 1: is quickly spiraling into a luxury meltdown. Sources tell me
- 0:56Speaker 1: that Jeff and Lawrence extravagant three day wedding in Venice
- 1:01Speaker 1: is unraveling as furious protesters take over the city. VIP
- 1:07Speaker 1: guests are quietly backing out, and even security teams are
- 1:12Speaker 1: raising red flags. Once it has told me quote, it's
- 1:15Speaker 1: turning into a pr disaster. They thought it would be
- 1:19Speaker 1: a fairy tale instead, it's looking like a hostile takeover
- 1:22Speaker 1: of Venice, and people aren't having it. On Monday, Green
- 1:26Speaker 1: Piece dropped a massive protest banner in the legendary center
- 1:31Speaker 1: Mark Square, showing a grinning face of bezos next to
- 1:35Speaker 1: the words quote if you can rent Venice for your wedding,
- 1:40Speaker 1: you can pay more taxes now. The banner set off
- 1:44Speaker 1: a wave of backlash online before and against the demonstrators
- 1:49Speaker 1: here are accusing the Amazon founder of underpaying workers mm hm,
- 1:55Speaker 1: dodging taxes while treating Venice like a private park. Locals
- 2:01Speaker 1: have even plastered the city with signs that read Venice
- 2:06Speaker 1: Land a playground fit for an oligarch and also to
- 2:10Speaker 1: quote no space for bezos. These are flyers that are
- 2:14Speaker 1: plastered all over Venice. Others are organizing plans to block
- 2:20Speaker 1: the canals with boats and life rafts. Oh and just
- 2:23Speaker 1: really protest this billionaire blowout. One person said, if Jeff
- 2:28Speaker 1: wanted a celebration, he's actually gonna get a rebellion. So
- 2:33Speaker 1: lots of stuff going on here. Part of me is
- 2:35Speaker 1: let them get married. Part of me has just let
- 2:37Speaker 1: them let them get married. It's their lives, it's their money.
- 2:42Speaker 1: But part of me two is after that rocket disaster.
- 2:45Speaker 1: Remember when Katie Perry went to space with Gail King
- 2:49Speaker 1: and Laurence Sanchez. It was so tone death. It was
- 2:54Speaker 1: absolutely tone death. Spending all this money, I hear it's
- 2:58Speaker 1: about fifty and person p fifty thousand dollars per person,
- 3:03Speaker 1: that's what they're spending. Fifty thousand dollars. Gosh, our wedding's
- 3:06Speaker 1: like one hundred and fifty two hundred dollars. The type
- 3:08Speaker 1: of weddings I go to, maybe five hundred if it's
- 3:10Speaker 1: a really fancy one. But there's amount of money. It
- 3:13Speaker 1: is obscene. There is so much good that could be
- 3:16Speaker 1: done in the world with this money. This wedding is
- 3:19Speaker 1: going to cost twenty to forty million dollars. And I
- 3:23Speaker 1: know people who work at Amazon and they do not
- 3:26Speaker 1: get paid what you think they do, and the hours
- 3:29Speaker 1: are outrageous. I just think this foger display of wealth
- 3:34Speaker 1: when we're all struggling. We are people out there are
- 3:37Speaker 1: really struggling. You might be struggling too. I'm not earning
- 3:41Speaker 1: what I used to earn. The world is changing, it's
- 3:43Speaker 1: changing really really quickly, and I think people are very
- 3:47Speaker 1: angry about all this, and to see somebody buy a city,
- 3:51Speaker 1: somebody by Venice. It just feels so extravagant, so out
- 3:56Speaker 1: of touch. Now there are reports and I broke the snows.
- 4:00Speaker 1: I'm glad it's being confirmed that instead of wedding gifts,
- 4:03Speaker 1: they don't want wedding gifts, they want donations to local charities.
- 4:06Speaker 1: So there is going to be some good that comes
- 4:08Speaker 1: out of this. But also to Venice is a very
- 4:11Speaker 1: small place. I don't know if you've been there to
- 4:14Speaker 1: be overrun or at least to absorb two hundred people.
- 4:17Speaker 1: They can do that. Venice is a place that can
- 4:20Speaker 1: accommodate two hundred people. They've got lots of hotels. However,
- 4:24Speaker 1: the harbor where people are going to put their private yachts,
- 4:28Speaker 1: apparently it's just choc a block of billionaires with these massive,
- 4:32Speaker 1: massive yachts that are going to get in the way.
- 4:35Speaker 1: And that's not what people want to spend their money
- 4:38Speaker 1: to see in Venice. They want gondolas, not yachts. It's
- 4:42Speaker 1: really tone deaf, naw Jeff and Lauren could have got
- 4:45Speaker 1: married if they wanted to get married in Italy, they
- 4:47Speaker 1: could have done like Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. Remember
- 4:50Speaker 1: when they rented a luxury castle a little way out
- 4:53Speaker 1: and they can pretty much isolate the wedding and not
- 4:56Speaker 1: interrupt the locals, the local economy, tourists. They didn't. They
- 5:01Speaker 1: decided they wanted this in the heart of Venice. If
- 5:04Speaker 1: you get married in the heart of a major city,
- 5:06Speaker 1: whether it be London, New York, or Paris, it's a
- 5:09Speaker 1: lot you can cause gridlock, you can really shut a
- 5:13Speaker 1: city down. And so I do understand why the locals
- 5:16Speaker 1: are getting really angry here. I do understand why people
- 5:19Speaker 1: are saying, he doesn't really pay all these taxes, but
- 5:22Speaker 1: yet he can afford to close down a major city.
- 5:26Speaker 1: So for me, the takeaway is this feels like that
- 5:30Speaker 1: Rocket Part two. That Rocket. Remember when that rocket went
- 5:34Speaker 1: to space and Katie Perry and Gail King all thought
- 5:39Speaker 1: they were astronauts, and the astronauts were like, oh, no, no,
- 5:43Speaker 1: Nor you're not an astronaut, You're a space tourist. And
- 5:48Speaker 1: that's what this feels like too. They are coming in,
- 5:52Speaker 1: they are pretending to be something they are not, and
- 5:55Speaker 1: what they are are people who have a lot of
- 5:59Speaker 1: money and a lot of power and are going to
- 6:01Speaker 1: really disrupt this world class city. So these two and
- 6:06Speaker 1: their guests can have the wedding of their dreams. I'm
- 6:09Speaker 1: not against rich people, I'm really not. They have worked hard.
- 6:12Speaker 1: He has worked very, very hard for his money. She's
- 6:16Speaker 1: worked hard too. She was not a billionaire though until
- 6:19Speaker 1: she met Jeff, and so they do have a lot
- 6:21Speaker 1: of money. But when money can buy power, when money
- 6:24Speaker 1: can buy access, when we are all struggling, and we are,
- 6:28Speaker 1: let's be honest out there, we thought things was going
- 6:30Speaker 1: to get better, We're going to get better, and they're
- 6:32Speaker 1: still pretty bad. I have friends that are really really struggling.
- 6:36Speaker 1: This feels like a complete waste of money, which brings
- 6:39Speaker 1: us to our pole question of the day. Jeff Bezos
- 6:42Speaker 1: and Lawrence Sanchez's wedding plans are falling apart, guests are
- 6:45Speaker 1: dropping out because they can't dock their yards, and all
- 6:48Speaker 1: the protests they're erupting in. Theness, do you think this
- 6:54Speaker 1: is tone death? Is this extravagant wedding? This is going
- 6:58Speaker 1: to rival the wedding of Harry and Megan, a royal wedding.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Is this tone death? Hey? Go vote on a Twitter
- 7:08Speaker 1: page at Naughty Knights Rob or a Facebook page which
- 7:12Speaker 1: is nuody Gossip and be sure to check back to
- 7:14Speaker 1: Marau to hear your results. Okay, moving along, Remember a
- 7:18Speaker 1: couple of days ago Harry allegedly put out an olive
- 7:20Speaker 1: branch to the Royals. Well, now I can tell him
- 7:23Speaker 1: it's been rejected because the Royal sphere another ambush as
- 7:28Speaker 1: trust hits an all time lower. So Harry might be
- 7:31Speaker 1: ready to make peace on his own terms, but the
- 7:33Speaker 1: family is not biting. Prince William and King Charles have
- 7:37Speaker 1: no intention of attending the twenty twenty seven in Victus
- 7:41Speaker 1: Games in Birmingham, so Harry, who heads up this organization,
- 7:45Speaker 1: They're having a huge ceremony in Birmingham not till twenty
- 7:48Speaker 1: twenty seven, so it's a little way off. And on
- 7:51Speaker 1: paper it looks like an olive branch because he invited
- 7:54Speaker 1: his dad, his brother are the Royals to be there.
- 7:56Speaker 1: But behind the scenes, sources tell me that nobody believes
- 7:59Speaker 1: it's in them and the concern is really simple that
- 8:03Speaker 1: this could be another trap. Maybe even Oprah and a
- 8:06Speaker 1: camera crew will be waiting in the wings inside of
- 8:09Speaker 1: saying that Harry has already approved the guest list and
- 8:12Speaker 1: really the wording for the formal invitations that were sent
- 8:16Speaker 1: to Bookingham Palace last month. The event scheduled on July
- 8:20Speaker 1: twelve to seventeen, twenty twenty seven, and unfortunately too, oh Harry,
- 8:25Speaker 1: it overlaps with Queen Camilla's eightieth birthday celebration, So that's
- 8:30Speaker 1: where the Royals are going to be. The Royals do
- 8:32Speaker 1: love charity and they do love showing using their power,
- 8:36Speaker 1: using their celebrity to get these charities some attention, but
- 8:39Speaker 1: they're not going to be doing it on Queen Camilla's
- 8:42Speaker 1: eightieth birthday. In fact, I'm told there might be a
- 8:45Speaker 1: concert of celebration in London, a free event for the
- 8:48Speaker 1: public to celebrate the Queen. King Charles is already talking
- 8:53Speaker 1: to several of his favorite performers. I hear Rod Stewart
- 8:56Speaker 1: is a name that keeps coming up, Diana Ross. He's
- 8:58Speaker 1: also friends with lots of different celebrities. I hear there
- 9:01Speaker 1: might be a big charity of it, maybe at the
- 9:03Speaker 1: London Pladium, maybe in the park, and that's how they
- 9:06Speaker 1: will celebrate Queen Camilla's eightieth thirty Where you know, about
- 9:10Speaker 1: an hour and a half two hours from London is Birmingham.
- 9:13Speaker 1: That's where I grew up. Harry will be there for
- 9:15Speaker 1: the Invictor's games. It's so sad, isn't it. It's so
- 9:18Speaker 1: sad that there's no trust. I find that almost impossible
- 9:23Speaker 1: to overcome. I can fall out with people, we can
- 9:26Speaker 1: have a cross word or two. But once I stop
- 9:29Speaker 1: trusting you, once I knew longer really trust you, then
- 9:33Speaker 1: I don't know if I can ever bounce back. And
- 9:36Speaker 1: that betrayal, that book, that interview with Oprah, Remember he
- 9:40Speaker 1: called Queen Camilla the devil. He really went in deep,
- 9:46Speaker 1: really deep on her. That's the love of King Charles's wife.
- 9:51Speaker 1: You're never ever, ever gonna beat the wife he reached out.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Some people are saying it's an olive branch. My sources
- 10:00Speaker 1: are telling me no one is biting. The Royals will
- 10:04Speaker 1: not be there. Kristin Chenowitz had a little bit of
- 10:08Speaker 1: a meltdown after an NBA national anthem backlash. People are
- 10:12Speaker 1: telling me she's deeply insecure. So the Wicked Star suffered
- 10:15Speaker 1: a full on emotional spiral backstage after her polarizing rendition
- 10:19Speaker 1: of the star spangled banner ahead of a game for
- 10:23Speaker 1: the NBA Finals. Sources say she was proud of the
- 10:26Speaker 1: performance until the comments started rolling in. The trolls hit
- 10:30Speaker 1: her where it hurt, and Kristen is more fragile when
- 10:33Speaker 1: people believe and she's trying to laugh it off, but
- 10:36Speaker 1: deep down she's incredibly insecure. Now, she did post a
- 10:39Speaker 1: very cryptic quote on her Instagram page saying, the price
- 10:44Speaker 1: of authenticity is being disliked. That is very very true.
- 10:48Speaker 1: I listened to this. I thought she was great, but
- 10:50Speaker 1: she sang it like an opera star. It's a hard song,
- 10:52Speaker 1: the Star Spangled Banner. I know a lot of celebrities
- 10:56Speaker 1: who have been offered to perform that and they pass
- 10:59Speaker 1: just because the song. It's such a difficult song. It's
- 11:02Speaker 1: so rangy, it jumps up and down, there's so many
- 11:05Speaker 1: words to remember. It's a very tricky song, and so
- 11:08Speaker 1: a lot of people don't want to do it. Kristen's
- 11:10Speaker 1: a trained singer, but she is trained in a very
- 11:13Speaker 1: operatic Broadway type style, and so it's quite different from
- 11:18Speaker 1: what we're used to hearing. And so I listened to it.
- 11:20Speaker 1: She's in tune, she remembers the words. It's just a
- 11:24Speaker 1: little bit Phantom of the opera is. It's very very grand,
- 11:28Speaker 1: it's very over the top, it's very very larger than life,
- 11:32Speaker 1: very very dramatic. I loved it. That's what Broadway is
- 11:35Speaker 1: to me. I love those big Broadways, fabulous moments. It's
- 11:39Speaker 1: over the top moments. Have a look at it. It's online.
- 11:42Speaker 1: So she is being criticized, Kristin, don't take it personally.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Don't be insecure about this. You do not have to
- 11:48Speaker 1: prove you are a good singer to anybody. You are
- 11:50Speaker 1: good singer. Everybody who knows you, worked with you, or
- 11:52Speaker 1: even listen to you can say. You do not have
- 11:55Speaker 1: to worry about that. And as far as the trolls
- 11:57Speaker 1: are concerned, oh please zip its it. It's a bit.
- 12:00Speaker 1: You might not like the style. I get it. A
- 12:02Speaker 1: lot of people don't like that Broadway style. They like
- 12:04Speaker 1: rock and roll or pop style, don't they. I love it.
- 12:07Speaker 1: I love and over the top dramatic diva singing those
- 12:11Speaker 1: high notes. And that's what Kristen certainly did. Some people
- 12:14Speaker 1: didn't like it. Unfortunately she's listening to them, though, And
- 12:17Speaker 1: that's the sad thing, isn't it. I thought she was much, much,
- 12:21Speaker 1: much less needy than that. And so, Kristen, girl, if
- 12:24Speaker 1: you're listening Gala Loo alone, start listening to all those
- 12:27Speaker 1: mean folks out there. You are fabulous, okay. Arianna Grande
- 12:31Speaker 1: is stung by a Barbara Streis and Wicked snub beneath.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Sources are telling me it felt like a velvet gloved slap.
- 12:40Speaker 1: So in a interview with Rioty, my friend Mark Malkin
- 12:44Speaker 1: did the podcast with Barbara Streiss and it is fantastic.
- 12:47Speaker 1: Mark's a great reporter. He asked her about Wicked, and
- 12:50Speaker 1: she said, my grandchildren. I showed it to my grandchildren
- 12:52Speaker 1: and they loved Wicked. Well, Mark's no faul. He pressed
- 12:55Speaker 1: again and said, did you love it? Barbara Paust then
- 12:58Speaker 1: performed a signature streisand side step. She said quote, I
- 13:04Speaker 1: was just watching their reaction that the grandchildren, they were
- 13:09Speaker 1: totally fine with the Witches. I was surprised afore and
- 13:12Speaker 1: a six year old, you know. Translation, she saw it
- 13:17Speaker 1: and she's saying nothing about it now. Inside has told
- 13:19Speaker 1: me that Arianna's a little bit stung by this. She
- 13:22Speaker 1: played Glinda in the Mega Mega Movies made almost a
- 13:27Speaker 1: billion dollars, but she was privately quite crushed by this.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Asor said, quote, Arianna adores Barbara and was so so
- 13:36Speaker 1: proud of her performance in Wicked. Arianna was hoping for
- 13:39Speaker 1: at least a little bit of praise and instead crickets. Well,
- 13:43Speaker 1: the silence is deafening, and all them all awkward because
- 13:47Speaker 1: Arianna appears on Barbara Streison's upcoming duet album, which drops
- 13:52Speaker 1: on Friday. So here it is. Arianna is performing with
- 13:55Speaker 1: Barbara on her new album, and she's asked about Wicked
- 13:58Speaker 1: and she couldn't just say I loved it. I just
- 14:00Speaker 1: saying there's a few words. No, oh, Barbara, Barbara, Barbara. Okay,
- 14:04Speaker 1: quickly before we get a break. This is concerning. So
- 14:07Speaker 1: did his in a circle are planning a private victory party.
- 14:11Speaker 1: Sources tell me so did. He isn't waiting for the
- 14:14Speaker 1: final verdict, which I think is going to come next week,
- 14:17Speaker 1: and according to people in his inner circle, he already
- 14:20Speaker 1: thinks he has one. Multiple sources tell me that Did.
- 14:24Speaker 1: His team is quietly planning being called a massive, no
- 14:29Speaker 1: expense spared blowout in the next few weeks to celebrate
- 14:33Speaker 1: his expected acquittal. I don't so sure, but Puff seems
- 14:37Speaker 1: to think this is happening. I'm told it's going to
- 14:39Speaker 1: be in New York City, DJ is and even a
- 14:42Speaker 1: documentary crew. There lots of champagne. It's going to make
- 14:44Speaker 1: Studio fifty four look like a dry wedding. They are
- 14:49Speaker 1: acting as if it's a done deal. The mood in
- 14:51Speaker 1: his camp is very very confident. They think they are
- 14:54Speaker 1: ready to party. They think he is going to do
- 14:57Speaker 1: just fine. Inside to say, though, he will never forget
- 15:01Speaker 1: who stood by him and who didn't ouch. This isn't
- 15:06Speaker 1: just about clearing his name moving forward if he gets off.
- 15:09Speaker 1: This is about revenge. Oh what do you think that
- 15:13Speaker 1: verdict is coming down next week? Okay, We're going to
- 15:17Speaker 1: take a quick break and we will be right back.
- 15:20Speaker 1: Welcome back to the Naughty but Nashammy host rom. She said, Hey,
- 15:23Speaker 1: let's get to the polls that dad are. Last Cherry
- 15:26Speaker 1: talked about Prince William. He was the one alone that
- 15:29Speaker 1: made the decision that there will be no royal future
- 15:32Speaker 1: for little Archie and Lilybet that's Harry and Meghan's children.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Is this the right decision or the wrong decision? Let's
- 15:38Speaker 1: have a look, split down the middle fifty to fifty.
- 15:42Speaker 1: I totally get it. Harry and Meghan were the ones
- 15:45Speaker 1: that dropped out of being working royal, so they're the
- 15:48Speaker 1: ones that stepped away, But they didn't say they didn't
- 15:51Speaker 1: want their children to be members of the royal family,
- 15:54Speaker 1: and so now the choices up to William, and sources
- 15:57Speaker 1: are saying Prince William has made it very very clear
- 16:00Speaker 1: going to be no official royal future. There will always
- 16:02Speaker 1: be a prince and a princess, but they will have
- 16:04Speaker 1: no official role within the royal family once he is king.
- 16:08Speaker 1: And we are split down the middle and that. Some
- 16:11Speaker 1: people are saying, oh, it's wrong, they're children, let them decide,
- 16:14Speaker 1: and some are saying, no, it's their mom and dad
- 16:16Speaker 1: have already decided. They step down. I could go either
- 16:19Speaker 1: way on this one. Nought is hey, don't forget to
- 16:21Speaker 1: vote on today's pole. Got our Twitter page at Naughty
- 16:24Speaker 1: Nice rob Our facebook page is Naughty Gossip. I'm sure
- 16:27Speaker 1: to check back Tamara, hear your results, and now it's
- 16:32Speaker 1: time for her nisest. Oh the day ah our nice
- 16:36Speaker 1: is down. Their day is Taylor Swift, who's all smiles
- 16:39Speaker 1: as she supports Travis Kelcey at training camp kickoff in Nashville.
- 16:44Speaker 1: So Taylor made a surprise appearance at Travis's tight End
- 16:48Speaker 1: University training camp. It makes me love tight End. I
- 16:51Speaker 1: know nothing about football, but I'm sure that's a football term.
- 16:54Speaker 1: It's in Nashville, Tennessee. The singer a spotted beaming while
- 16:57Speaker 1: standing at the bar on Mundane night. A fan took
- 17:01Speaker 1: a photograph and shared it on x She appeared to
- 17:04Speaker 1: be mingling with all the other intendees and Travis, just
- 17:07Speaker 1: like a regular person. It was not her moment to shine,
- 17:10Speaker 1: This was Travis's. I love that about Taylor. So many
- 17:13Speaker 1: celebrities would go looking ridiculous. Lady Gaga would turn up
- 17:16Speaker 1: in a meat dress. You know, it would be so
- 17:18Speaker 1: over the top. Travis is there looking like a really
- 17:20Speaker 1: pretty girl next door and nobody, well, they all know
- 17:24Speaker 1: she's a superstar, but she's not acting like one. She's
- 17:27Speaker 1: acting like a regular supporter, supporting her guy. And I
- 17:31Speaker 1: think that is just beautiful and nicest the day. And
- 17:35Speaker 1: now I naughtyous the day, naughty, naughty, noughty. Prince Harry
- 17:39Speaker 1: begged Meghan, begged Meghan to not launch her wian on
- 17:43Speaker 1: his mommy's birthday. Out Meghan so. According to sources, the
- 17:48Speaker 1: Duke of Sussex was deeply uncomfortable with the decision to
- 17:52Speaker 1: release Meghan's as Ever Rose on July first, the day
- 17:57Speaker 1: his late mother, Princess Diana would have turned sixty four.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Sources say Harry told Meghan directly, please not on my
- 18:06Speaker 1: mom's birthday. He didn't want Diana's memory to be commercialized,
- 18:11Speaker 1: especially not with alcohol. But despite those concerns, sources say
- 18:15Speaker 1: Meghan and her team are pushing forward, assisting insisting that
- 18:19Speaker 1: the date is already locked in, and claiming any connection
- 18:23Speaker 1: to Diana's birthday was coincidental. Yeah, I could believe that,
- 18:28Speaker 1: But if it was a coincidence. Even if it was
- 18:31Speaker 1: a coincidence, it's probably not the right day to be
- 18:34Speaker 1: selling hocking your latest product. Maybe can you push it
- 18:39Speaker 1: forward a day? Or can you push it back a day?
- 18:42Speaker 1: Does it have to be on the day that the
- 18:46Speaker 1: late great Princess Diana would have turned sixty four? Ouch
- 18:52Speaker 1: and autist of the day. Hey, let's end with the
- 18:55Speaker 1: moment of rob. You rob, You get a rob, You
- 18:56Speaker 1: get a rob. You won't always be motivated, but you
