- 2:38Speaker 1: to take a chance and just say, if you haven't
- 2:41Speaker 1: seen our special the Investigation into the Disappearance of Chase Lackey,
- 2:46Speaker 1: you need to watch it. We are working on an update.
- 2:50Speaker 1: We are just challenged with that update because there's information
- 2:53Speaker 1: that we have that we cannot share with the public
- 2:57Speaker 1: due to safety concerns and because of people involved. But
- 3:02Speaker 1: I also wanted to take this chance to say tomorrow,
- 3:06Speaker 1: Chase Lackey will be thirty three years old. And when
- 3:11Speaker 1: I decided to jump into Chase's case, I've often said
- 3:14Speaker 1: it was because of the dog Champ looks so much
- 3:17Speaker 1: like my dog Josie. Then after getting into Chase this case,
- 3:21Speaker 1: learning that Chase also shares the birthday with monkey Butt,
- 3:26Speaker 1: and the fact that so many people I grew up
- 3:28Speaker 1: with new Chase. It has been It's been great and
- 3:34Speaker 1: so interesting. So I'm going to ask everybody please continue
- 3:39Speaker 1: sharing Chase's story. He'll be thirty three tomorrow and we
- 3:42Speaker 1: want to keep his family and our thoughts because thirty
- 3:46Speaker 1: three is a big deal. He should be celebrating his
- 3:49Speaker 1: birthday and instead we are trying to find him. Also
- 3:55Speaker 1: about our TCWT community, we also have channel membership if
- 4:01Speaker 1: you want to get early access to select shows and
- 4:05Speaker 1: if you want exclusive content. We released behind the scenes footage,
- 4:10Speaker 1: Membley members only chats, bonus episodes, all kind of cool stuff.
- 4:15Speaker 1: There's multiple membership levels that you can join. Also, by
- 4:20Speaker 1: doing this, you help support us and keep the show going. Now,
- 4:25Speaker 1: today we did move Monday's case about Troy Robert Galloway
- 4:30Speaker 1: to today because I had jury duty. So today we
- 4:34Speaker 1: do have a special guest. But I want to tell
- 4:36Speaker 1: you a little bit about Troy. He is a marine
- 4:39Speaker 1: veteran who's been missing since January thirteenth, twenty sixteen. Troy
- 4:45Speaker 1: was just thirty four when he disport disappeared, leaving his Sonora,
- 4:49Speaker 1: California home, on a cold, snowy night, wearing only a
- 4:54Speaker 1: T shirt, jeans, and sneakers. Now, over eight years later,
- 4:59Speaker 1: Troy would be forty three years old, and today we
- 5:04Speaker 1: have his mother, Nancy here to share his story with us.
- 5:09Speaker 1: So I would like us all to welcome Nancy to
- 5:12Speaker 1: the show. Hi Nancy, Hi, And I also want to
- 5:18Speaker 1: say thank you. I know it's a little early there
- 5:21Speaker 1: where you live in Hawaii, so thank you for getting
- 5:26Speaker 1: up extra early. Also thank you for your patience with
- 5:29Speaker 1: having to reschedule because of my jury duty, and thank
- 5:34Speaker 1: you for coming on and sharing Troy and his story
- 5:37Speaker 1: with this. Since I've started covering this in persons, I
- 5:41Speaker 1: find it is not easy for family. So my respect
- 5:46Speaker 1: for you coming on in covering this emotional thing with
- 5:50Speaker 1: us really means a lot. So I want you to
- 5:53Speaker 1: know how much we appreciate it well.
- 5:56Speaker 2: And I appreciate you asking me to be on the show.
- 6:00Speaker 2: It helps a lot, so thank you.
- 6:02Speaker 1: I wish I could go out and find everybody that's missing,
- 6:05Speaker 1: so the least we can do is try to get
- 6:08Speaker 1: the word out and share their story. So before we
- 6:12Speaker 1: get into the disappearance of Troy, I wanted you to
- 6:16Speaker 1: share a little bit about Troy's childhood and what he
- 6:20Speaker 1: was like growing up, because I know when we talked
- 6:23Speaker 1: on one of our calls, he sounds like a great
- 6:27Speaker 1: He was a great kid. So can you share a
- 6:29Speaker 1: little bit.
- 6:30Speaker 2: With Yes, Troy was a very easy baby, and he
- 6:36Speaker 2: was a really good little boy. We had a lot
- 6:39Speaker 2: of fun. He had lots of friends, and he was
- 6:42Speaker 2: pretty funny. He had a really good sense of humor.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Of course he probably got it from me, but no,
- 6:49Speaker 2: I'm just kidding. And when he was in when he
- 6:54Speaker 2: was in second grade, he was eight years old, and
- 6:57Speaker 2: he had a teacher who wasn't who was an artist,
- 7:00Speaker 2: and she would bring canvases for the kids to paint on,
- 7:04Speaker 2: which I thought was really because I'm an our teacher too,
- 7:07Speaker 2: so I was like, oh, that is so great that
- 7:10Speaker 2: he's doing that. So one day he brought home two paintings.
- 7:14Speaker 2: One was of a killer well, which I thought was
- 7:17Speaker 2: really realistic and very good, and the other one was
- 7:21Speaker 2: I guess. She gave him like postcards of different artists.
- 7:25Speaker 2: So he did a monet. We ended up calling it
- 7:30Speaker 2: my monet, and he actually I said which one do
- 7:33Speaker 2: you want to put in the fair? And he said,
- 7:37Speaker 2: I want to do my monee. So I took it
- 7:41Speaker 2: to the fair and entered it and from the eight
- 7:44Speaker 2: to eleven years old he was only eight, and he
- 7:48Speaker 2: won first place. And when I brought the picture up.
- 7:52Speaker 2: I don't think I told you this, but when I
- 7:53Speaker 2: brought the picture up to the guy that was taking
- 7:56Speaker 2: it in, he said, is this your painting? And I
- 7:59Speaker 2: looked at No, it's my eight year old son's painting.
- 8:03Speaker 2: So then you know, it's kind of funny. It was
- 8:05Speaker 2: just kind of cute. But so then later on when
- 8:09Speaker 2: he was about fourteen, we did the same thing and
- 8:11Speaker 2: he got another first place. The one where he was eight.
- 8:15Speaker 2: He was was eight to eleven years old, so he,
- 8:20Speaker 2: you know, got first place. So you know, I mean,
- 8:23Speaker 2: I know, I'm really good at just you know, figuring
- 8:27Speaker 2: out who's who has a chance to who has talent
- 8:31Speaker 2: with art, and I just actually thought Troy was better
- 8:34Speaker 2: than me. But so that was kind of I have
- 8:38Speaker 2: a lot of hope for him on that now.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Isn't one of his paintings. I hope I'm not getting him.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Isn't his painting up at one of the government buildings.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Yeah, I think the picture just came up.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Oh, it sure did.
- 8:53Speaker 2: That was me and Joshua. That's his son. This is
- 8:56Speaker 2: when Troy lived over downtown Santa Cruz and we just
- 9:00Speaker 2: would take walks every day and I just went into
- 9:03Speaker 2: the county building because they actually bought his painting and
- 9:07Speaker 2: they put it in a permanent collection, and so I said,
- 9:13Speaker 2: I told him, if you ever stop putting it up,
- 9:17Speaker 2: would you let me know so I could buy it
- 9:19Speaker 2: back from you. But they just keep putting it up.
- 9:22Speaker 2: I guess I really like it. So we went into
- 9:25Speaker 2: the County building just kind of looking around, and I
- 9:28Speaker 2: found it, and so I have this. One of the
- 9:30Speaker 2: office workers there tak a picture of me and Joshua
- 9:33Speaker 2: because that was his dad, you know, So that was
- 9:36Speaker 2: kind of this special picture.
- 9:38Speaker 1: I mean, that is I mean, I know a lot
- 9:41Speaker 1: of people talk about legacies and what you want to
- 9:45Speaker 1: leave behind. I mean eight years old, and that is
- 9:50Speaker 1: a legacy that is going to be there as long.
- 9:53Speaker 1: I mean, and that his son got to see it,
- 9:55Speaker 1: I mean, I think that is so cool. And I've
- 9:58Speaker 1: got a note down next time I go to the
- 10:01Speaker 1: San Francisco area, I'm going to drive up to Santa
- 10:04Speaker 1: Cruz and I want to go get my picture taken
- 10:06Speaker 1: with it.
- 10:07Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Because for our followers, some of them saw the hay
- 10:12Speaker 1: Host Show. I was a guest on the hay Host Show,
- 10:15Speaker 1: and they all learned I am not an artist. Nancy
- 10:19Speaker 1: I was supposed to draw. They sent me a topic
- 10:21Speaker 1: I had to draw, and I literally draw stick figures.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Both of my boys are amazing artists. I don't know
- 10:30Speaker 1: where they get it from, because I am not artistic
- 10:34Speaker 1: in any shape or form, but I think that he
- 10:38Speaker 1: probably definitely got that from you, mom.
- 10:40Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. And so after that he was well, actually
- 10:46Speaker 2: before that, he was in Little League from the age
- 10:48Speaker 2: of six to twelve, and he started out with tea
- 10:52Speaker 2: ball and went all the way through and he did
- 10:54Speaker 2: really well. Yeah. So basically he was just a really
- 10:59Speaker 2: happy kid.
- 11:00Speaker 1: You know, he was well rounded sports and artistic. Yeah,
- 11:05Speaker 1: I think, because I mean, my son that is really
- 11:08Speaker 1: really artistic does not have an athletic bone in his
- 11:11Speaker 1: poor little body. Yeah, But so that's cool. Now, all.
- 11:18Speaker 2: Everybody has their own talents.
- 11:19Speaker 1: They do they do. Now, as we see these pictures,
- 11:23Speaker 1: we see that Troy was a marine. What was his
- 11:28Speaker 1: motivation for joining the Marines?
- 11:31Speaker 2: You know what? I was thinking about that last night
- 11:34Speaker 2: a lot. But I think part of it there was
- 11:38Speaker 2: a recruiter who came to his high school and just
- 11:42Speaker 2: invited whoever was interested to go and work out at
- 11:46Speaker 2: a local park. And so Troy really liked that. He
- 11:51Speaker 2: I think he really wanted to prove his manhood in
- 11:55Speaker 2: a way. And also his dad was a Marine and
- 11:59Speaker 2: he was in Vietnam, so you know, I think he
- 12:02Speaker 2: I think that was a motivator, is just wanting to
- 12:07Speaker 2: become a man, you know, and getting structure and discipline.
- 12:14Speaker 1: How do you think that experience shaped him being in
- 12:17Speaker 1: the military. Was it a positive?
- 12:19Speaker 2: It was positive. When his dad and I went to
- 12:24Speaker 2: his graduation from boot camp, we all the recruits or whatever,
- 12:31Speaker 2: well they were Marines by then. They march up in
- 12:34Speaker 2: this huge like in their platoon. They march up to
- 12:38Speaker 2: their parents, you know, and we're standing there worst Troy, Troy,
- 12:42Speaker 2: we didn't even recognize them. He just was He was
- 12:45Speaker 2: standing so straight, and he had that face of you know,
- 12:50Speaker 2: they look like a little bit stern or whatever, but
- 12:53Speaker 2: no smiling, you know, and we just didn't recognize them.
- 12:57Speaker 2: It was just amazing. And then I just started noticing
- 13:01Speaker 2: his manners and you know, just it really I think
- 13:07Speaker 2: I think he got really good survival skills, and I
- 13:11Speaker 2: think that made him very confident in himself.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Yeah. I've often said I work for a company in Finland,
- 13:20Speaker 1: and one of the things that I think is kind
- 13:22Speaker 1: of cool. Everybody has to go into the military. It
- 13:27Speaker 1: may only be a six month stint, but everybody does it,
- 13:31Speaker 1: and then you're in the reserves in case they ever
- 13:33Speaker 1: need it. And I've talked to people there and they're like, yeah,
- 13:37Speaker 1: it also gives them time to mature and helps give
- 13:41Speaker 1: them some of those skills that are life skills.
- 13:44Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, yes, Well, in fact, when Troy went missing,
- 13:49Speaker 2: that was one thing I thought about, was, well, he
- 13:51Speaker 2: has all the skills to survive, you know.
- 13:54Speaker 1: But right, well, yeah, I will say he was very
- 13:59Speaker 1: hands in his uniform. I'm not one. I have girlfriends
- 14:04Speaker 1: who go agg got over your uniforms. I'm not one
- 14:07Speaker 1: of those. But I was like, he was a very
- 14:09Speaker 1: striking marine, very striking marine. Now let's get to the
- 14:16Speaker 1: not so great stuff. Can you tell us about the
- 14:19Speaker 1: days leading up to Troy's disappearance, and then I want
- 14:23Speaker 1: to get into what your reaction was when you heard
- 14:25Speaker 1: he was missing.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Yeah. So Troy and Kelsey, Kelsey was pregnant with Hope.
- 14:34Speaker 2: They moved up to Sonara because her parents live up
- 14:37Speaker 2: in the area there and I understood that. So they
- 14:43Speaker 2: moved up there in March of twenty fifteen. I think
- 14:46Speaker 2: it was March around that time, and I went up there.
- 14:51Speaker 2: When the baby was born in June, I went up
- 14:54Speaker 2: and Troy's dad went up as well. We're divorced, but
- 15:00Speaker 2: at the time we both went up and saw the
- 15:02Speaker 2: baby and spent some time. I went up there a
- 15:04Speaker 2: couple of times. And then in October, Troy, Kelsey and
- 15:10Speaker 2: Hope came down to Santa Cruz right around Halloween, and
- 15:16Speaker 2: we had a really good visit for three days. And
- 15:19Speaker 2: I was really impressed with their little family, and Joshua
- 15:23Speaker 2: was there and he got to see his sister, and
- 15:26Speaker 2: you know, it was really cool. And then then and
- 15:31Speaker 2: for Thanksgiving, I actually drove up to Calaveras and had
- 15:36Speaker 2: Thanksgiving with them. I didn't take Joshua with me that
- 15:39Speaker 2: time because he had other plants, but but I did
- 15:43Speaker 2: go and we had a nice time. And then in December,
- 15:48Speaker 2: like December nineteenth and twenty, at the weekend, I drove
- 15:54Speaker 2: up with Joshua and we spent the weekend there and
- 15:57Speaker 2: we went to the snow and we had a really
- 16:00Speaker 2: nice time. So he seemed to be doing really well.
- 16:04Speaker 2: And in fact, I'm gonna, oh, I'll tell you about
- 16:08Speaker 2: that later. Okay, So let's see. I'm sorry, that's okay.
- 16:16Speaker 1: So Troy had two kids. He had a son and
- 16:19Speaker 1: a daughter. Is that correct?
- 16:20Speaker 2: Yes, Joshua Hope and Hope Hope he's going out.
- 16:27Speaker 1: Was Troy reported missing? And who reported him? And how
- 16:31Speaker 1: did you find out?
- 16:35Speaker 2: Okay? So he went missing on the thirteenth, but I
- 16:39Speaker 2: didn't know about it until the fifteenth. Kelsey sent me
- 16:43Speaker 2: a text, and I said, can I call you? Because
- 16:46Speaker 2: I'm old school, I don't like, you know, younger people
- 16:50Speaker 2: are really into text but I kind of like talking
- 16:53Speaker 2: to people really big things like that. So I called
- 16:56Speaker 2: and she told me. She said, well, I said, why
- 16:59Speaker 2: don't you call me right away? And she said, well,
- 17:02Speaker 2: I didn't want you to worry, So I said, okay,
- 17:05Speaker 2: you know, so then I did want There's one thing
- 17:09Speaker 2: I was looking at my notes here. Sorry, uh, try
- 17:12Speaker 2: not to do that. Okay, let's see. Sorry, this is
- 17:20Speaker 2: right before. Oh yeah, another thing that happened right before you.
- 17:24Speaker 2: This is kind of ties into right he went missing.
- 17:28Speaker 2: He called me in uh December, after I left, you know,
- 17:32Speaker 2: so it was right between Christmas and New Year's and
- 17:36Speaker 2: he asked me to edit a story that he had
- 17:39Speaker 2: written and he has a LinkedIn account and it's it's
- 17:44Speaker 2: the actual story is on his LinkedIn account. Oh yeah,
- 17:50Speaker 2: so he wanted me to edit it, so I did
- 17:54Speaker 2: because I'm a school teacher who thinks I'm really good
- 17:56Speaker 2: at that.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Oh I would go to you too, Well, I'm really
- 18:00Speaker 1: good at art.
- 18:02Speaker 2: It's just kind of funny. So he was supposed to
- 18:05Speaker 2: turn it in January sixteenth, and I don't know if
- 18:10Speaker 2: it ever got submitted because he went missing on the
- 18:15Speaker 2: the thirteenth. So but he was, you know, he's really
- 18:19Speaker 2: excited about it, and so he's in a good mood
- 18:23Speaker 2: and you know, like like I'm going to do this contest.
- 18:26Speaker 2: And I I read the story because I edited it,
- 18:30Speaker 2: and it was really good. It was like pretty profound,
- 18:34Speaker 2: deep thoughts, you know, it was it was science fiction,
- 18:38Speaker 2: but it was had a lot of messages that I
- 18:41Speaker 2: was I was impressed. So so he is a good
- 18:44Speaker 2: writer too, that starts showing up more in his adult life.
- 18:52Speaker 1: So she reached out to you two days after Yes, Okay,
- 18:58Speaker 1: what did she say? Happened?
- 19:01Speaker 2: Oh, they got into a fight and he just took
- 19:04Speaker 2: off and and he didn't come home. And so it's
- 19:10Speaker 2: kind of Troy has substance abuse things and mental health,
- 19:16Speaker 2: and he has he has relapsed in the past, although
- 19:26Speaker 2: when I was up there that all that year, he
- 19:29Speaker 2: seemed to be in really good spirits and I don't
- 19:32Speaker 2: think he relapsed. But so anyway, he also was in
- 19:37Speaker 2: recovery for on and off, but mainly on during several years,
- 19:43Speaker 2: and so I didn't really see that coming. You know,
- 19:48Speaker 2: I was surprised.
- 19:50Speaker 1: Why did she wait two days to reach out to you.
- 19:53Speaker 1: I mean, I know she said she didn't want you
- 19:55Speaker 1: to worry, but two days is.
- 19:59Speaker 2: In my opinion, Yeah, I couldn't answer that question for you.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Now, when did she report to the police that he
- 20:06Speaker 1: was missing?
- 20:07Speaker 2: Okay, so she reported on the fifteenth, two days later
- 20:14Speaker 2: she reported. I think she I'm pretty sure she might
- 20:17Speaker 2: have done on the phone because she had told me
- 20:20Speaker 2: when I talked to her that she was going to
- 20:22Speaker 2: report because it was that day when she you know,
- 20:26Speaker 2: call me on Friday or talk to me on Friday.
- 20:31Speaker 2: She reported it to the Sonora Police Department, and I
- 20:36Speaker 2: don't think she knew. But the Tuolomee County Sheriff's Department
- 20:41Speaker 2: is the you know, the people that would have jurisdiction
- 20:47Speaker 2: where they lived. They didn't live right in Sonora, but
- 20:50Speaker 2: they live kind of out a little bit, and so
- 20:53Speaker 2: that happens a lot where sheriffs, you know, they go
- 20:56Speaker 2: out in the more rural areas. But so, so what
- 21:01Speaker 2: happened was, you know, nobody ever called me and as
- 21:05Speaker 2: far as from the Sonora Police Department or tuaame.
- 21:11Speaker 1: So I said, they didn't call you.
- 21:13Speaker 2: No, they didn't call me, and so I called it
- 21:17Speaker 2: and what happened. This is what happened. I laugh when
- 21:20Speaker 2: I'm nervous. Sorry, it's not really fun that funny at all.
- 21:25Speaker 2: They so Sonora Police Department sent the paperwork over to
- 21:33Speaker 2: the Twamy Sheriff's apartment. Apparently, so I called them. They said, no,
- 21:38Speaker 2: you need to call Twaomie County Sheriff. Okay, I called them.
- 21:42Speaker 2: They said, no, you need to call Sonora because Sonora
- 21:46Speaker 2: did the actual report. So I guess they looked it up.
- 21:49Speaker 2: I'm not really sure, but so they had I called
- 21:52Speaker 2: back and forth like four times, and finally I just
- 21:56Speaker 2: got a little bit fed up and I said, hey,
- 21:58Speaker 2: look it, I just want to find out what's going
- 22:00Speaker 2: on with my son's case. Somebody knows and you know,
- 22:05Speaker 2: so you need to let me know. And so the
- 22:07Speaker 2: next day I got a call from the sergeant in
- 22:10Speaker 2: the Detective Division and he, you know, he said, oh,
- 22:15Speaker 2: I'm you know, sorry about that the paperwork. Nobody's claiming
- 22:20Speaker 2: where it got stuck or where.
- 22:22Speaker 1: You know, they're not going to own up to their mistakes.
- 22:24Speaker 1: Let's just put it out there. They're yeah, they're not.
- 22:28Speaker 2: But I feel personally, I felt like I was sitting
- 22:30Speaker 2: on someone's desk, on the bottom of a bunch of
- 22:33Speaker 2: papers and they just didn't, you know, do anything about it.
- 22:38Speaker 2: And and this sergeant was really nice to me, and
- 22:42Speaker 2: he said, well, you know, we had another person up
- 22:45Speaker 2: here who he was from Santa Cruz and he went missing,
- 22:49Speaker 2: and a couple of about three months later, he showed
- 22:52Speaker 2: up to his parents' house in Sonora, and so I went, oh,
- 22:57Speaker 2: I kind of thought, well, that's kind of interesting. And
- 23:00Speaker 2: then when I called later down the line, maybe at
- 23:05Speaker 2: five or six months, they said he said the same
- 23:09Speaker 2: exact thing, except he changed the amount of time the
- 23:13Speaker 2: kid had been missing. So I knew he was lying
- 23:16Speaker 2: to me. I mean, I have a really good memory,
- 23:19Speaker 2: so I know, I you know, remember when people I don't.
- 23:23Speaker 1: I've said this so many times. I don't know if
- 23:25Speaker 1: they think they're trying to make people feel better. Yeah,
- 23:29Speaker 1: I don't get why they did. Why they have to do.
- 23:31Speaker 2: That, well, at least write it down or something.
- 23:34Speaker 1: I mean, why do that? Now? When did they take
- 23:38Speaker 1: it seriously and start doing as search?
- 23:41Speaker 2: Well, they took it seriously. I mean I kept calling them.
- 23:46Speaker 2: I sent They said they were going to make a
- 23:48Speaker 2: flyer for Troy, and they never did. I sent them
- 23:51Speaker 2: our flyer that we made, and I went up there
- 23:54Speaker 2: and visited several I go, I go up there a lot, actually,
- 24:00Speaker 2: and I so they they never did the flyer. And
- 24:08Speaker 2: then around in June, so Troy went this eve in January.
- 24:13Speaker 2: In June. My it was I got, you know, done
- 24:16Speaker 2: with school, and I drove up there. It's like three
- 24:19Speaker 2: hours to get there, and I met with the detectives
- 24:24Speaker 2: and they I told, you know, so I went. And
- 24:29Speaker 2: then after we met with the detectives, I went over
- 24:31Speaker 2: to where Troy lived and I started, you know, talking
- 24:34Speaker 2: to the neighbors. When my friends was with me, and
- 24:38Speaker 2: she just she's really you know, comfortable just talking to anybody.
- 24:42Speaker 2: So we started talking to different neighbors and one of
- 24:47Speaker 2: them said that her husband and he said to us
- 24:51Speaker 2: as well that he was working with Troy doing some
- 24:55Speaker 2: kind of repair work or something. They were the ho
- 24:58Speaker 2: A managers and so he said Troy was in good spirits.
- 25:04Speaker 2: He didn't seem, you know, like he was had any
- 25:07Speaker 2: problems or anything. And that was just like a day
- 25:09Speaker 2: or the day of I'm not sure. So yeah, so
- 25:15Speaker 2: we met all the neighbors and then while I was
- 25:17Speaker 2: talking to the ho A managers, this guy came up.
- 25:23Speaker 2: He was kind of the caretaker of the lake. The
- 25:28Speaker 2: lake was Crystal False Lake. It was down not too
- 25:32Speaker 2: far from Troy's house. And he said, oh yeah, he
- 25:36Speaker 2: just mentioned it. You know, there was a big to
- 25:38Speaker 2: do going on that night and I don't know if
- 25:43Speaker 2: he knew specifically then the date that he said during
- 25:47Speaker 2: that time there was something going on. So immediately, well,
- 25:54Speaker 2: the HOA people took me down to the neighbors houses.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Who who there was a you know, the big event happened.
- 26:05Speaker 2: And I talked with them and they told me that
- 26:09Speaker 2: there was someone in the yards. The dogs were barking
- 26:12Speaker 2: and that one attacked this person. At that time, we
- 26:16Speaker 2: didn't know it was Troy, but just she told me.
- 26:21Speaker 2: One of the things she said to me was the
- 26:24Speaker 2: person that was being attacked by the dog said, hey,
- 26:27Speaker 2: get out of here like that. And I knew. I
- 26:29Speaker 2: knew immediately that was Troy, because that's how he that's
- 26:32Speaker 2: what he would do. He would just you know, probably
- 26:35Speaker 2: hit at it, you know.
- 26:38Speaker 1: And this was on the same night that he was
- 26:40Speaker 1: last seeing exactly.
- 26:42Speaker 2: Yes, And so I, you know, I got information from
- 26:46Speaker 2: both the neighbors, so they you know, they're very nice
- 26:50Speaker 2: to me, and you know, so I got lots of information.
- 26:54Speaker 2: So I immediately called the Sheriff's department told them what, you know,
- 26:59Speaker 2: I got this information, and you know, and I had
- 27:03Speaker 2: talked to the neighbors and there, you know, have you
- 27:05Speaker 2: guys gone out there and I interviewed anybody? You know,
- 27:09Speaker 2: they had not, They had not interviewed. I'm sure they
- 27:13Speaker 2: interviewed Kelsey somewhat, and then they interviewed maybe why they
- 27:18Speaker 2: did it. It was that old voluntary missing, you know,
- 27:23Speaker 2: that kind of thing. And I think when I started
- 27:26Speaker 2: calling and getting on their case, they went, oh, there
- 27:30Speaker 2: are people that care, you know, you know what I mean,
- 27:33Speaker 2: Like I just because I'm relentless, I mean, I wasn't
- 27:36Speaker 2: going to let them, especially after they mess at the paperwork.
- 27:40Speaker 2: I was like, I trust them, I don't trust you guys.
- 27:44Speaker 2: I'm gonna be calling you a lot, so which I did.
- 27:48Speaker 1: But anyway, what did they do with that information? Did
- 27:51Speaker 1: they decide to.
- 27:52Speaker 2: They they had a really good detective who we went
- 27:58Speaker 2: up and met and talked to out all that, you know,
- 28:01Speaker 2: and they started interviewing the neighbors and they looked for,
- 28:07Speaker 2: you know, people that had cameras on their homes. But
- 28:11Speaker 2: they at that point there wasn't a whole lot that
- 28:14Speaker 2: they got, unfortunately, because it's kind of like a little
- 28:17Speaker 2: it's a rural it's a neighborhood. It's a big neighborhood,
- 28:21Speaker 2: but it's it's on the rural side. So I don't know.
- 28:25Speaker 2: But anyway, so yeah, so then in September, so that
- 28:32Speaker 2: was June when I told them. In September, I got
- 28:35Speaker 2: a call on my way home from work and the
- 28:39Speaker 2: detective said, you know, I'm I just want to tell
- 28:43Speaker 2: you that we're down here searching this lake, the Crystal
- 28:46Speaker 2: Falls Lake, with sonar. They had another department, you know,
- 28:53Speaker 2: like I think it was from Modesto with divers because
- 28:56Speaker 2: they don't always have all the resources. So they did
- 29:00Speaker 2: that and they you know, have divers and sonar, and
- 29:05Speaker 2: they didn't find anything. He goes, so I'm ninety five
- 29:09Speaker 2: percent sure that Troy is not in the lake. And
- 29:12Speaker 2: I said, well, what about the other five percent? Because
- 29:15Speaker 2: that's how I am.
- 29:16Speaker 1: It's like I was thinking the same thing. I was like, yeah,
- 29:19Speaker 1: that's not one hundred percent.
- 29:20Speaker 2: So then I think they kept that those notes and
- 29:26Speaker 2: then five years later they did another search that was
- 29:30Speaker 2: major search.
- 29:33Speaker 1: So is that when they drained it.
- 29:36Speaker 2: Yes, that was in twenty twenty one.
- 29:38Speaker 1: So five years later they decided to drain it.
- 29:42Speaker 2: It depends on it depends on. I mean I went
- 29:45Speaker 2: up there and met both sheriffs. They had a changing
- 29:48Speaker 2: of the guards, and I went and had you know,
- 29:51Speaker 2: one on one with the sheriff. I've always brought someone
- 29:54Speaker 2: with because so I wouldn't forget anything that they're saying.
- 29:57Speaker 2: But know, so they did. I mean I was a
- 30:02Speaker 2: squeaky wheel basically, and I recommend that to anyone who's missing. Folks,
- 30:07Speaker 2: just get.
- 30:08Speaker 1: I say it all the time. The squeaky wheel gets
- 30:10Speaker 1: the attention.
- 30:12Speaker 2: Yeah, And I'm pretty good at figuring things out, so
- 30:16Speaker 2: I would tell my opinions about everything, and sometimes I listened.
- 30:22Speaker 1: But what what made them decide to drain it five
- 30:26Speaker 1: years later? Did they get a new tip or did
- 30:28Speaker 1: they just say, oh, we might as well.
- 30:31Speaker 2: Well. What happened was that Google they got a what
- 30:36Speaker 2: do you call it when you have to get a
- 30:37Speaker 2: search what do you call a subpoine? Not a subpoena
- 30:41Speaker 2: search warrant, search warrant. They got a search warrant for Troy.
- 30:45Speaker 2: They had never found Troy's phone, but they had they
- 30:50Speaker 2: can go in. Google can go in all the information.
- 30:54Speaker 2: So they got, yeah, a search warrant, and they can
- 30:59Speaker 2: at this point five years later, they could pinpoint within
- 31:03Speaker 2: twenty feet where someone is. So they pinpointed that Troy
- 31:07Speaker 2: was either on the edge of the lake or in
- 31:10Speaker 2: the lake. So that's why they thought, okay, look at
- 31:12Speaker 2: this is, you know. And there was other evidence and
- 31:15Speaker 2: all kinds of stuff that they you know, got it.
- 31:18Speaker 2: It was like I think, I think also that they
- 31:21Speaker 2: felt bad about because about you know, not the paperwork
- 31:26Speaker 2: getting missing.
- 31:28Speaker 1: I should feel bad, Yeah, be honest, let's call a
- 31:32Speaker 1: spade a spade.
- 31:33Speaker 2: So during that time I was diagnosed with cancer and
- 31:40Speaker 2: and so we had a very good lieutenant. His name
- 31:43Speaker 2: was Lieutenant Davis, and he's the one that got this
- 31:47Speaker 2: all going, I mean had they had to get the
- 31:49Speaker 2: okay by the sheriff and everything, but apparently with all
- 31:52Speaker 2: the information they had, they wanted to you know, get
- 31:55Speaker 2: this done. And so I couldn't go up there when
- 31:59Speaker 2: they were searching, but they called me every day, and
- 32:03Speaker 2: I did let them know that I did have a
- 32:05Speaker 2: you know two where I had a major surgery and
- 32:07Speaker 2: I went through chemo, and they just would call me
- 32:10Speaker 2: and tell me what was going on. So it took
- 32:13Speaker 2: up probably a month of you know, they drained the
- 32:16Speaker 2: lake for like two weeks and then because it had
- 32:19Speaker 2: to dry out. I mean it's a small I think
- 32:22Speaker 2: I sent pictures.
- 32:23Speaker 1: Yeah, there's pictures. I've seen them pop up on the slideshow. Yeah,
- 32:27Speaker 1: you said pictures. But two weeks to drain it, wow,
- 32:30Speaker 1: that is a big undertaking.
- 32:32Speaker 2: Probably in a few days. But for it to dry
- 32:38Speaker 2: there was a lot of mud and you know, silt
- 32:40Speaker 2: and all that stuff. So they wanted to make sure
- 32:43Speaker 2: that they could get down there and not get stuck,
- 32:46Speaker 2: you know. So so they had excavator excavators and sonar
- 32:55Speaker 2: penetrating Wait, no, what is it penetrating sonars and wrote
- 33:01Speaker 2: that down, but anyway, yeah, ground penetrating sonar. They had
- 33:06Speaker 2: cadaver dogs and they had metal detector because they never
- 33:13Speaker 2: found his his phone, so.
- 33:18Speaker 1: Anyway they find anything during that search.
- 33:21Speaker 2: Called me right when I started my chemo actually, and
- 33:26Speaker 2: so they didn't find any remains, and I was both
- 33:33Speaker 2: relieved and because in my mind went to, well, maybe
- 33:37Speaker 2: he was on the edgel the lake and he went
- 33:39Speaker 2: running and he got picked up, got it, you know,
- 33:42Speaker 2: like hitchhiked or whatever. But you know, it was frustrating
- 33:51Speaker 2: because I did want closure in some way, and yet
- 33:55Speaker 2: I was relieved you know that that wasn't But then
- 33:59Speaker 2: the was a part. The frustrating part was there's a
- 34:02Speaker 2: part of me that went, well, they might have missed it,
- 34:04Speaker 2: like where does the lake water go? Did it go?
- 34:08Speaker 2: Did he go down with the water somewhere?
- 34:11Speaker 1: Did it drain off somewhere? Did it flood? And you
- 34:14Speaker 1: know it remains, Yeah, so did it leave you probably
- 34:18Speaker 1: I'm guessing with more questions than answers.
- 34:21Speaker 2: Yes, and it may. It was kind of spooky. I
- 34:24Speaker 2: can't explain it, but it was, you know, it was
- 34:27Speaker 2: just because I had it because I started thinking about
- 34:31Speaker 2: all this other stuff that could have happened. And so
- 34:35Speaker 2: but you could have like he could have been, you know,
- 34:39Speaker 2: had amnesia because I don't. And he could be wandering
- 34:42Speaker 2: somewhere being you know, almost camp, or someone could have
- 34:46Speaker 2: picked him up and did it. You know who knows,
- 34:48Speaker 2: you know. But another guy went missing two weeks later.
- 34:54Speaker 2: This is I was looking at the profiles. They look similar.
- 35:01Speaker 2: They're both like six six', one brown, hair brown. Eyes
- 35:06Speaker 2: troy was a little, thinner but you, know they had.
- 35:10Speaker 2: That it's just interesting that it is. Interesting he wasn't
- 35:15Speaker 2: around the. Lake he was up at a, casino which
- 35:18Speaker 2: is only a couple of, miles like maybe five miles.
- 35:22Speaker 2: Away but and SO i know his. Mom we you,
- 35:25Speaker 2: know we we started A facebook, page not the not
- 35:29Speaker 2: the one THAT i have, now but this just a
- 35:34Speaker 2: bunch of people that had missing you, know family. Members
- 35:37Speaker 2: and from, that did you want me to, Well i'll
- 35:42Speaker 2: just wait for your. Questions i'll tell you.
- 35:44Speaker 1: NO i wanted to talk about you, know because hearing
- 35:48Speaker 1: this you have to have moments of hope and stuff
- 35:52Speaker 1: that he could still be.
- 35:53Speaker 2: Alive, yeah BUT.
- 35:56Speaker 1: I always want to what keeps a parent holding on
- 36:00Speaker 1: to hope.
- 36:01Speaker 2: Because you love, them you want to see, them and
- 36:04Speaker 2: you don't want that to be reality because when it hits,
- 36:06Speaker 2: you it hurts a, lot and it's like it's like
- 36:10Speaker 2: you get, blindsided, like oh, no he could be, dead you,
- 36:14Speaker 2: know and it's just, LIKE i, mean, REALLY i MEAN
- 36:17Speaker 2: i don't know what reality. Is that's the hardest. Part
- 36:20Speaker 2: is the not knowing is with the. Hardest it's just.
- 36:25Speaker 2: Horrible but so what happened from that Little facebook page
- 36:30Speaker 2: that we, had we started talking about we should all get.
- 36:35Speaker 2: Together so we ended up getting together in a it's
- 36:39Speaker 2: just a casual at a park and people came up
- 36:43Speaker 2: from because a couple of the people that were missing
- 36:46Speaker 2: were From. Modesto their their. Family the family member lived In,
- 36:50Speaker 2: sonora but they lived In, modesto and so they came
- 36:55Speaker 2: AND i was walking by this woman and she, was you,
- 36:59Speaker 2: know sitting on the ground AND i was, LIKE i
- 37:00Speaker 2: wonder who that, is you, Know and my Friend jill, said,
- 37:04Speaker 2: hey come and sit with, us and so she, Said Jose,
- 37:09Speaker 2: NANCY i want you to Meet Sharon Roache's Sharon Roach's
- 37:12Speaker 2: Lacey peterson's.
- 37:13Speaker 1: Mom say That's lacey's.
- 37:15Speaker 2: Mom, yeah so she was so sweet and so. SUPPORTIVE i,
- 37:22Speaker 2: asked you, KNOW i, Said jill, said well can you
- 37:26Speaker 2: how can you Help nancy with this? Case and she, goes,
- 37:30Speaker 2: well just tell your detective everything that you know or think.
- 37:35Speaker 2: About and that really really helped. Me it was a
- 37:39Speaker 2: turning point for. Me it was, like, oh, Okay i'm
- 37:42Speaker 2: not afraid to say every little thing so helps, them you.
- 37:47Speaker 2: Know So, anyway so after, that every year we would
- 37:52Speaker 2: have An Awareness day and the second time we didn't
- 37:56Speaker 2: have any speakers that, time and we didn't we just
- 38:00Speaker 2: at the end we just got in a circle and
- 38:02Speaker 2: said a prayer and just met each, other you, know
- 38:05Speaker 2: and got. Okay so then the second one we Had
- 38:10Speaker 2: Mark class.
- 38:13Speaker 1: He's uh from The Class, Foundation.
- 38:15Speaker 2: Yeah Poly claus's, dad AND i met him at a
- 38:22Speaker 2: missing person's thing In sacramento that you, know he. Had
- 38:28Speaker 2: he brought all his his stuff from his his group and.
- 38:33Speaker 1: SO i do amazing stuff At Klaus.
- 38:36Speaker 2: Foundation. Great so MY i was with my Friend sandy
- 38:42Speaker 2: who her AND i kind of got the first picnic thing.
- 38:46Speaker 2: Together and then after That sandy did a lot of
- 38:48Speaker 2: work because she lives up, there and we started having
- 38:52Speaker 2: awarenesses and they were like really successful people came, out
- 38:56Speaker 2: like a lot of people came, out and so so
- 39:00Speaker 2: we just asked, him do you want to do this
- 39:02Speaker 2: talk for us up In sonora and she said, yeah
- 39:06Speaker 2: and he came. Up and you, know we had from
- 39:10Speaker 2: the very from that one, on we had The shaff's
- 39:14Speaker 2: apartment HAD dna. TESTS i actually did MY dna there
- 39:21Speaker 2: and whoever wanted, to any family member could DO dna
- 39:25Speaker 2: and so they did, that and then The Crime stoppers was,
- 39:28Speaker 2: there and you know several groups that you know have
- 39:33Speaker 2: to do with missing. Persons, yeah and so then it
- 39:37Speaker 2: just kept getting bigger and. Bigger and the next person we,
- 39:41Speaker 2: had this is kind of a cool, One Susan. Levy
- 39:44Speaker 2: she Was Shondra levy's. Mom she lived In, modesto But
- 39:49Speaker 2: Shondra levy went missing In, washington D. C and they
- 39:55Speaker 2: finally did find her. Remains but so, Anyway i'm sitting
- 39:59Speaker 2: there next her and this woman walks up AND i
- 40:02Speaker 2: looked at her AND i, went, oh my, gosh That's.
- 40:06Speaker 2: MARCIA i know who you. Are You're Marcia clark and she, goes,
- 40:10Speaker 2: YES i. Am it was really. Cute but so she
- 40:13Speaker 2: waited when we were all kind of getting up and.
- 40:16Speaker 2: Going she walked with, me and you, know she she
- 40:19Speaker 2: BECAUSE i talk at every awareness, DAY i talk and just,
- 40:24Speaker 2: BRIEFLY i don't. Talk i've talked for maybe five minutes or,
- 40:27Speaker 2: whatever but all the families talk and talk about our.
- 40:31Speaker 2: Case and so she heard WHAT i, said AND i
- 40:36Speaker 2: think she said something, like, YEAH i can tell it
- 40:38Speaker 2: was it's really you, know a hard. Thing and so
- 40:42Speaker 2: it was kind of that was kind of.
- 40:44Speaker 1: Special did they still do the awareness?
- 40:46Speaker 2: Day, NO i was got to get to. That we
- 40:49Speaker 2: did have and Then Sharon, rocha But Lacy peterson's mom
- 40:55Speaker 2: did that. One that was the last one that was so.
- 40:57Speaker 2: Good it was the sheriff came up and talked with,
- 41:02Speaker 2: me and all the deputies or deputies and detectives all came.
- 41:07Speaker 2: Out they all held pictures of all the missing. Persons
- 41:10Speaker 2: there's like five, huge big, pictures like poster sized, pictures
- 41:16Speaker 2: and they said their names and it was so healing to.
- 41:21Speaker 2: ME i can't explain, it but and then, yeah and
- 41:26Speaker 2: THEN i recommend if anybody can do that for the,
- 41:31Speaker 2: person it's just you have to have a group that
- 41:34Speaker 2: wants to do, it which were it just all fell into.
- 41:37Speaker 2: Place but you, know just what happens is you get
- 41:41Speaker 2: the families talking to law enforcement because they don't always
- 41:44Speaker 2: want to go into the, office, right you, know you
- 41:48Speaker 2: just you get a. Bridge you, know.
- 41:51Speaker 1: It sounds scary to, say it's almost like you can
- 41:54Speaker 1: bridge that gap that's there because you're you, know you
- 41:59Speaker 1: don't want to be a. Pet you don't want to
- 42:00Speaker 1: think they're the. Enemies and mistakes, happened but you can
- 42:04Speaker 1: get past it and y'all can work.
- 42:05Speaker 2: Together, yeah so that was twenty twenty or, no that
- 42:10Speaker 2: was twenty. Nineteen is because we do it In september every,
- 42:15Speaker 2: year and the pandemic hit In.
- 42:19Speaker 1: March TWENTY, Covid, yeah.
- 42:21Speaker 2: Twenty, okay so it's twenty nineteen that that was the last.
- 42:24Speaker 2: One but and then the next year was the big you,
- 42:30Speaker 2: know draining the lake and all that. Stuff so, anyway
- 42:36Speaker 2: so they had we just couldn't do it the next
- 42:39Speaker 2: year because of the, pandemic and then you know just
- 42:43Speaker 2: kind of my friend GOT covid and you, Know Sandy,
- 42:47Speaker 2: lee she so we just. Couldn't we were going to
- 42:50Speaker 2: do it in twenty twenty, one AND i was going
- 42:53Speaker 2: to go up there and, everything but you, know it
- 42:57Speaker 2: just didn't work. Out so we.
- 42:59Speaker 1: Just ever do another, one shoot me a text or
- 43:02Speaker 1: an email or call me BECAUSE i will add it
- 43:06Speaker 1: to my calendar and make SURE i.

- 43:10Speaker 2: Does this is A facebook page that is now. There
- 43:15Speaker 2: it's the. One it's the. One it's called.

- 43:34Speaker 2: i book, believe and they're very nice ladies and they
- 43:38Speaker 2: are really on. It AND i was, THINKING i haven't
- 43:41Speaker 2: talked to them about this, yet BUT i was BECAUSE
- 43:43Speaker 2: i kind of MISS i, MEAN i was going through
- 43:45Speaker 2: cancer and yeah it was kind of. HARD i was
- 43:48Speaker 2: tired all the, time SO i didn't have it in.
- 43:50Speaker 2: Me BUT i started thinking maybe they would take it
- 43:53Speaker 2: on next you, know SO i don't, know that would be.
- 43:56Speaker 2: COOL i could tell them.
- 43:58Speaker 1: What to, do, yeah tell them what to.
- 44:00Speaker 2: Do, WELL i live In. Hawaii now THAT i can
- 44:03Speaker 2: help you.
- 44:04Speaker 1: Absolutely, NOW i know when we had talked on the,
- 44:08Speaker 1: phone you talked about a close. Group is this that
- 44:11Speaker 1: group or did you have a separate group of friends
- 44:13Speaker 1: that helped?
- 44:13Speaker 2: You it was a separate group of. Friends so when
- 44:18Speaker 2: the message got out On facebook That troy was missing
- 44:22Speaker 2: on My, FACEBOOK i think my Friend jill from years,
- 44:27Speaker 2: back her SON jj was best friends With troy and
- 44:32Speaker 2: in kindergarten through elementary, school and he actually died a
- 44:37Speaker 2: few years, before and so she, knew you, know she
- 44:43Speaker 2: has a really good. Heart she called me and she,
- 44:47Speaker 2: goes do you need some? Help AND i, said, YEAH i.
- 44:49Speaker 2: Do so we got. Together she's very friendly and you,
- 44:53Speaker 2: know kind of that person that everybody. Likes and so
- 44:56Speaker 2: we came up with a couple other people we thought
- 45:00Speaker 2: would be good and one of two of them were
- 45:04Speaker 2: ray and that's let's, See joshua's. Grandmother so the other Grandmother,
- 45:10Speaker 2: rayan and Then alisa would kind of chime in every
- 45:15Speaker 2: once in a. While that's her. Daughter That's joshua's. Mom
- 45:18Speaker 2: and Then, kathleen my friend who's been with me and
- 45:21Speaker 2: New troy very well in his adult. Life i've noted
- 45:26Speaker 2: for like twenty five, years and she, said, Yeah i'll do,
- 45:31Speaker 2: it you. Know so that we all got together and
- 45:33Speaker 2: we just started meeting like a couple of times a.
- 45:36Speaker 2: Month we called ourselves The, brainstormers AND i highly recommend
- 45:41Speaker 2: this to people out there that have just get your
- 45:45Speaker 2: friends and people want to, help they don't know what to,
- 45:48Speaker 2: do so get them. Together and THEN i fortunately had
- 45:53Speaker 2: really good people with different perspectives in different ways of
- 45:59Speaker 2: looking at. Things so it was fabulous and it really
- 46:04Speaker 2: helped my, spirit you, know and it motivated. Me so so,
- 46:10Speaker 2: anyway then LATER i think a year, later a friend
- 46:14Speaker 2: of mine that i'd done for a while called. Me
- 46:17Speaker 2: he was in he had been in law, enforcement he
- 46:19Speaker 2: was retired and he was also A. Pi he calls,
- 46:23Speaker 2: me he, goes CAN i help? YOU i, said, well
- 46:26Speaker 2: you know, what and he told me he was A.
- 46:27Speaker 2: Pi SO i called him up AND i, said can
- 46:30Speaker 2: you meet with? Me you? Know so we met AND
- 46:34Speaker 2: i brought a couple of my friends and we wanted
- 46:36Speaker 2: to make. Sure, anyway he's a good. Guy he ended
- 46:41Speaker 2: up coming up to a couple of the the awareness
- 46:45Speaker 2: groups In. Sonora he had a place up in one
- 46:50Speaker 2: of the little towns around, there Twain. Hart he had
- 46:55Speaker 2: a house, there so he would come up and and
- 46:58Speaker 2: he helped me so. Much she gave me an idea
- 47:02Speaker 2: of how to get THE fbi, involved WHICH i. Did
- 47:05Speaker 2: And i'm going to say, THIS i. Don't i'm just
- 47:09Speaker 2: going to say. It if you put in your letter
- 47:12Speaker 2: anything about kidnapping or possible, murder they will they will call.
- 47:17Speaker 2: You and so his, son his son was A da
- 47:20Speaker 2: In Santa. Cruz so THAT'S i guess they came up
- 47:24Speaker 2: with that good. Tip, yeah it's a good. Tip AND
- 47:28Speaker 2: i don't think because his name Is, Tom i'm not
- 47:30Speaker 2: going to get him in.
- 47:31Speaker 1: Trouble, Yeah i's not get him in. Trouble but Thanks
- 47:34Speaker 1: tom for that tip because we tell, people because we
- 47:37Speaker 1: learned by accident that even if THE fbi is not
- 47:40Speaker 1: looking at A misi person, case you can still submit
- 47:43Speaker 1: an anonymous tip online to THE fbi about a person
- 47:48Speaker 1: because a lot of places do not have the option
- 47:52Speaker 1: of calling it anonymous.
- 47:53Speaker 2: Tips, well OUR i asked our detectives and they said
- 47:57Speaker 2: they do have an anonymous.
- 47:59Speaker 1: Line so some, do some.
- 48:01Speaker 2: Don't, yeah so anybody that knows anything About troy, anything please.
- 48:07Speaker 2: Call but so, anyway, yeah so he was. Great he
- 48:12Speaker 2: ended up, saying you, Know i'm not going to take your.
- 48:14Speaker 2: Money i'll help you guys. OUT i don't BECAUSE i
- 48:17Speaker 2: was interviewing him to be OUR pi and so he was,
- 48:21Speaker 2: incredible incredible person you, know and so, anyway, yeah so
- 48:29Speaker 2: we that was in fact We OH i want to
- 48:33Speaker 2: say about the. Group we went up to all awareness groups,
