- 0:06Speaker 1: All right, what's up everybody.
- 0:07Speaker 2: This is Gil.
- 0:07Speaker 3: Good morning to you, and today I'm going to listen
- 0:10Speaker 3: to and I'm going to bring to you mar Maury,
- 0:14Speaker 3: who is a I'm just learning about this guy, but
- 0:17Speaker 3: he's a Christian. He dresses really funny, but he wears
- 0:21Speaker 3: this robe and this little hat thing. But when it
- 0:25Speaker 3: comes to Christianity, it's very, very very educated. Knows a
- 0:30Speaker 3: lot of stuff. I started listening to him. But this
- 0:34Speaker 3: is my introduction to him that I'm going to give
- 0:37Speaker 3: to you today. So I hope this helps you and
- 0:41Speaker 3: anything that you're doing. This is Gil. Please listen to
- 0:44Speaker 3: it and we'll talk to you later. Bye.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Why do you think you know, just fifty sixty years
- 0:51Speaker 2: ago Christians there was four times amount of Christians as Muslims,
- 0:54Speaker 2: three to four times amount of Christians as Muslims. Now
- 0:57Speaker 2: it's about one to one. Okay, it's a little shy
- 0:59Speaker 2: of that. Christians app two point one kids per woman.
- 1:05Speaker 2: Muslims have two point nine. Muslims are out there. You know,
- 1:10Speaker 2: God forbid you say something about the religion of Islam,
- 1:15Speaker 2: you will be destroyed by not one or two. They
- 1:18Speaker 2: will come after you if you say anything about them,
- 1:21Speaker 2: and their faith. Why do you think the Christian religion
- 1:25Speaker 2: has hit a wall and it's not growing at the
- 1:29Speaker 2: levels that it was. I can give it a growth
- 1:31Speaker 2: rate here the population growth there for Christianity one point
- 1:34Speaker 2: one eight percent, okay, is what it is right now.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Christianity one point one eight percent is what they have
- 1:40Speaker 2: within it. The fastest grown one is one point eight
- 1:43Speaker 2: eight percent Pentecostals, then the next one is Evangelicals. Then
- 1:47Speaker 2: at the you know, you got Catholics at the lowest
- 1:49Speaker 2: one point nine three Catholics are grown at the lowest.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Islam on fire growing the way they are, the way
- 1:56Speaker 2: it's going right now. The next thirty years, you know,
- 1:59Speaker 2: majority of Senate Jordia House is going to be Muslims.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Why do you think Christians have flatline and Muslims are
- 2:04Speaker 2: grown the way they are?
- 2:06Speaker 4: The Lord Jesus did say when we read in the
- 2:09Speaker 4: Book of Revelation, he said, my church and the end
- 2:12Speaker 4: of times would have walked away from me. See when
- 2:15Speaker 4: you look at the Revelation chapter two and three, it
- 2:19Speaker 4: talks about the seven churches in Asia and begins with
- 2:23Speaker 4: Ephesis and then ends up with Laodicia. These names are
- 2:27Speaker 4: all of Greek origin. Now, it began with ephesis, that
- 2:30Speaker 4: was the first era, the first century, which is the
- 2:33Speaker 4: beloved one, but it ended up with the rebellious one.
- 2:38Speaker 4: I believe nowadays the Church in general, the universal Church
- 2:42Speaker 4: in general, is not seeking the true Messiah. It has
- 2:46Speaker 4: created a Christ that follows her instead of her following him.
- 2:52Speaker 4: There is so many factors that are happening within Christendom.
- 2:56Speaker 4: That's why it ended up being maybe so weak in
- 3:00Speaker 4: the face of twenty twenty. What was happening in the
- 3:04Speaker 4: on a global level, all church leaders, maybe just a
- 3:09Speaker 4: few very few here and there, all of them agreed,
- 3:12Speaker 4: all of them supported, and all of them encouraged their
- 3:15Speaker 4: flock to adhere to what was happening. Yet it was
- 3:19Speaker 4: really very very clear everything was actually planned. Was a
- 3:24Speaker 4: plandemic instead of a pandemic. But the problem is the
- 3:28Speaker 4: moment the church loses Christ, the Church loses her power
- 3:34Speaker 4: an authority. Everything comes from the Lord Jesus. If somebody
- 3:39Speaker 4: says that the Lord Jesus was very loving, very kind,
- 3:44Speaker 4: very merciful, he was very very weak. In fact, they
- 3:48Speaker 4: dragged them the streets of Jerusalem. They kicked him, punched him,
- 3:51Speaker 4: bashed them, and then they nailed them on the cross
- 3:53Speaker 4: fully naked. That's to us, it's very weak. What kind
- 3:56Speaker 4: of a god is that? But they do not understand
- 3:58Speaker 4: the concept of love.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Of love.
- 4:01Speaker 4: On the other hand, if there has been any man
- 4:05Speaker 4: and the history of humanity that changed the history of
- 4:08Speaker 4: mankind is the one and only Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
- 4:11Speaker 4: He is the only one who changed the history of
- 4:14Speaker 4: mankind without carrying one sword or one bullet. He changed
- 4:20Speaker 4: the world with love. Love is foundational. Love is the
- 4:24Speaker 4: supreme ethic. If somebody talks about my Lord Jesus in
- 4:30Speaker 4: a negative way, and then I go on a rampage,
- 4:32Speaker 4: on a riot and go on the streets and say,
- 4:35Speaker 4: how dare you talk about my Jesus, I don't believe
- 4:38Speaker 4: this is a powerful way of expressing my faith. Because
- 4:42Speaker 4: Christianity we do not defend the faith. We do not
- 4:46Speaker 4: defend Christ. It is Christ who defends us. I don't
- 4:49Speaker 4: need to defend him. I don't need to stand and
- 4:52Speaker 4: say this and that. However, however, when I am submissive
- 4:57Speaker 4: to him, when I am faithful and loyal to him,
- 5:00Speaker 4: when I am trying, my heart is by his grace
- 5:03Speaker 4: to be with him. Oh no, he will give me
- 5:06Speaker 4: this might and this power. Nothing worries me, nothing can
- 5:10Speaker 4: ever shake me or break me, because when you have Christ,
- 5:13Speaker 4: you've got nothing to lose. The problem with the church,
- 5:16Speaker 4: it is weak because it is not reflecting the rue Messiah.
- 5:20Speaker 4: That's why it's weak. Why do you think that is though?
- 5:21Speaker 4: Why are they not doing that? Why are they me?
- 5:24Speaker 4: Because the throne the throne. We've sat on high places,
- 5:30Speaker 4: and those thrones are dangerous. They can change, they can
- 5:33Speaker 4: change minds and hearts. You see, it was at the
- 5:36Speaker 4: time of the Lord Jesus. History is repeating itself once again.
- 5:39Speaker 4: When the Lord came, he went into the temple, and
- 5:41Speaker 4: that temple was his. But what did he say? He said,
- 5:47Speaker 4: my house is the house of prayer, but you have
- 5:49Speaker 4: turned it into a den of thieves.
- 5:52Speaker 1: You have turned it into a den of thieves.
- 5:54Speaker 4: And in fact, he spoke about the house twice, and
- 5:58Speaker 4: one was in the Gospel of John, and the other
- 6:00Speaker 4: one in Matthew and John that was is the beginning
- 6:02Speaker 4: of his ministry, and in Matthew was the end of
- 6:04Speaker 4: his ministry.
- 6:05Speaker 1: And the beginning.
- 6:06Speaker 4: He said, my father's house is the house of prayer,
- 6:09Speaker 4: but you've turned it into a marketplace.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Buying and selling.
- 6:12Speaker 4: But when he came to his house, he said, my
- 6:15Speaker 4: house is the house of prayer, but you've turned it
- 6:18Speaker 4: into a den of thieves. Now, what is a den
- 6:20Speaker 4: of thieves? What is the house associating to Jesus Christ?
- 6:24Speaker 4: What is associated with Christ is glory, and what is
- 6:27Speaker 4: associated with his father is love. That's why, when it
- 6:30Speaker 4: comes to love, there is buying and selling, because you
- 6:32Speaker 4: will never buy something that you do not love. You
- 6:34Speaker 4: will only buy the things that you really love. But
- 6:37Speaker 4: when it comes to the Lord Jesus, it's to do
- 6:39Speaker 4: with glory. And what is Christ's glory? The Cross? You
- 6:43Speaker 4: know it. It takes power for someone to deny themselves.
- 6:49Speaker 4: A weak person cannot deny himself or herself. It takes wisdom.
- 6:52Speaker 4: It takes power for me to deny myself and live
- 6:56Speaker 4: for the one I love. Christ is the leading example
- 6:59Speaker 4: in this. He died in order to say I lived
- 7:04Speaker 4: for you, Patrick and Vinnie and George and me and
- 7:07Speaker 4: all of us and the entire world, and for me
- 7:09Speaker 4: to live for you. Therefore, I gave my life up
- 7:12Speaker 4: for you to say that this is the true love.
- 7:17Speaker 4: In this, no one can argue, no one can fight.
- 7:21Speaker 4: Maybe I can force someone to love me, but I
- 7:25Speaker 4: cannot do.
- 7:27Speaker 1: It freely forcefully.
- 7:29Speaker 4: And when I force someone to love me, the moment
- 7:31Speaker 4: they have the opportunity to attack me, rest ashore, they
- 7:35Speaker 4: will never hesitate to do so. But the Lord wants
- 7:38Speaker 4: people that choose to be with him, not forcefully be
- 7:42Speaker 4: with him. Christ is totally different to any other religious
- 7:48Speaker 4: figure out there. And the Lord invited everyone to walk
- 7:52Speaker 4: through then arrow gate. He said, the gate is narrow
- 7:56Speaker 4: and the way is difficult, and only if you find it.
- 7:59Speaker 4: But this way leads to eternal life. But he said
- 8:02Speaker 4: it only if you find it. So when you just
- 8:05Speaker 4: see the majority there, quantity doesn't mean anything. It is
- 8:09Speaker 4: the quality which Christ is looking for. The problem with
- 8:12Speaker 4: the Church is seeking quantity, not quality. It took one
- 8:16Speaker 4: man to change the history of mankind, Jesus Christ. It
- 8:20Speaker 4: took Saint Paul to change the people of his era
- 8:24Speaker 4: and generation after him.
- 8:26Speaker 2: God can work with one to do his job. I
- 8:28Speaker 2: think that's very the quantity versus quality argument. I totally agree.
- 8:35Speaker 2: And three hundred they were very strong, but they got
- 8:38Speaker 2: destroyed by a bigger army. And whatever army that gets
- 8:41Speaker 2: bigger is going to have a bigger voice and able
- 8:44Speaker 2: to recruit more people. Let me, let me kind of
- 8:46Speaker 2: give you one story. This Saturday, I get back from
- 8:51Speaker 2: La and Vegas and I have a swim meet for Dylan,
- 8:56Speaker 2: my youngest son, and I'm sitting there and I'm watching
- 8:59Speaker 2: him do his thaying and this guy's sitting next to Hey,
- 9:01Speaker 2: how you doing good? So you know, tell me your story?
- 9:03Speaker 2: What do you do? I'm a pastor? All very cool?
- 9:06Speaker 2: So what made you want to be a pastor? This
- 9:07Speaker 2: is that?
- 9:07Speaker 1: Okay? Great?
- 9:08Speaker 2: So so why do you think the Christian Church hasn't
- 9:11Speaker 2: grown right now? What do you think it's flatlining? Why
- 9:13Speaker 2: do you think Mormons are growing? Why do you think
- 9:15Speaker 2: certain sects are grown? But why do you think the
- 9:17Speaker 2: Christian Church has not growing on? You know, Islam has
- 9:20Speaker 2: grown the way there's Well, I think the congregations needs
- 9:23Speaker 2: to get more passionate about their faith. I said, interesting,
- 9:27Speaker 2: So the congregation needs to Yeah, I said, got it? Okay,
- 9:30Speaker 2: I said, who's leading the charge, who's doing the inspiration,
- 9:35Speaker 2: who's doing the challenge, and who's doing the expectation, who's
- 9:38Speaker 2: selling high standards? Who's doing that today? There's not a
- 9:43Speaker 2: Billy grahamt It's a Joel Ostin. I don't see Joel
- 9:45Speaker 2: Ostein doing it.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Joe Lost is amazing.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Billy Graham two hundred and ten million people. He was
- 9:50Speaker 2: doing it when he went to la and gave he
- 9:53Speaker 2: was preaching at Rose Bowl two thousand and three in November.
- 9:56Speaker 2: What they made it a Billy Graham Day. I was
- 9:58Speaker 2: there three out of the four days, and I want
- 9:59Speaker 2: to listen to you got to see him live three times,
- 10:02Speaker 2: three out of four days. So what's the So what's
- 10:05Speaker 2: the you know, what is the you know, a person
- 10:09Speaker 2: from the pulpit that's doing it. By the way, I've
- 10:10Speaker 2: only had one pastor ever on my podcast and a preacher,
- 10:14Speaker 2: only one, whether it's priest, pastor, preacher of whatever category
- 10:17Speaker 2: you want, You're the only one. So why is it
- 10:20Speaker 2: I've only had you. I've interviewed a lot of people
- 10:22Speaker 2: over the last ten years. Why are you the only one?
- 10:25Speaker 2: Because your messaging is a message of high standards and
- 10:28Speaker 2: it's it's attractive to father like myself that have four kids.
- 10:33Speaker 2: I think we've gotten away from that message that is
- 10:36Speaker 2: not a message of the you know, the tolerant message.
- 10:39Speaker 2: It's okay, it's okay, it's okay. You know, and then
- 10:42Speaker 2: we went back and for having a conversation. Unfortunately I
- 10:44Speaker 2: couldn't finish it because I had to come back for
- 10:45Speaker 2: Dylan's baseball party at the house. But what do you
- 10:49Speaker 2: think about that part where the leaders of many of
- 10:52Speaker 2: these churches are caving to being too tolerant and acceptance
- 10:58Speaker 2: of everything and let anybody, I mean, the Pope just
- 11:00Speaker 2: had a group of transgenders over at the what do
- 11:04Speaker 2: you call it? And then he's saying, hey, you know,
- 11:08Speaker 2: we need to be asking theologians to demasculize the Catholic Church.
- 11:12Speaker 2: He urges religions to unite against environmental devastation. A lot
- 11:16Speaker 2: of these weird things that he is saying, which is
- 11:19Speaker 2: a let's be more tolerant, Let's be more tolerant, let's
- 11:21Speaker 2: be more tolerant. So do you think that could be
- 11:24Speaker 2: one of the reasons why the church hasn't grown the
- 11:26Speaker 2: way that it used to be.
- 11:28Speaker 4: Absolutely, the Lord Jesus, if we were to compare him
- 11:35Speaker 4: to any other religious figure, I just want to come
- 11:37Speaker 4: back to this point where he said Islam is growing
- 11:40Speaker 4: and Christianity is not, if we were to compare, even
- 11:43Speaker 4: though there is no comparison, but let us compare them
- 11:46Speaker 4: for a moment with other religious figures, with all of
- 11:49Speaker 4: them respect Let's say ISLAMI is in Buddhism, Hinduism, Shintoism,
- 11:53Speaker 4: all the religions of the world. And although the leaders
- 11:56Speaker 4: of those religions, let's say the ultimate, they could have
- 12:00Speaker 4: achieve and their life in relation to humanity, they would
- 12:03Speaker 4: have probably achieved the ultimate by changing a bad person
- 12:06Speaker 4: into a good person, by bringing some values, morals and
- 12:10Speaker 4: whatever they brought with so they would have changed a
- 12:13Speaker 4: bad person and to a good person. Jesus Christ of Nazareth,
- 12:17Speaker 4: Old Glorious Holy Name. He did not come to change
- 12:20Speaker 4: a bad person and to a good person. He came
- 12:23Speaker 4: to change a dead person into a living one. In
- 12:26Speaker 4: this there is no comparison. Jesus Christ stands supreme alone
- 12:30Speaker 4: and high up there beyond any other religious figure. The problem,
- 12:36Speaker 4: dear Patrick, the problem of the church leaders, is one thing,
- 12:41Speaker 4: the beginning, the very beginning with Christ. A relationship with Christ,
- 12:46Speaker 4: it begins with death. He needs. He said, carry my
- 12:49Speaker 4: cross and follow me. And this is what I said.
- 12:52Speaker 4: I meant to say when he said my house is
- 12:55Speaker 4: the house of prayer, and I've turned it into a
- 12:57Speaker 4: den of thieves. What associates sociated with Christ is glory?
- 13:01Speaker 4: And what is Christ's glory?
- 13:03Speaker 1: The cross? What is cross? Death? What is death?
- 13:06Speaker 4: Self denial? This is the human dilemma. We cannot deny ourself.
- 13:11Speaker 4: Why because I need to give up on the things
- 13:14Speaker 4: I love? I want to do I choose to do.
- 13:18Speaker 4: For me to give up on them, I cannot. It's
- 13:21Speaker 4: a struggle. But the Lord says, unless I live in
- 13:25Speaker 4: you and no longer is you, you cannot make it.
- 13:29Speaker 4: When the church leader puts himself on the throne and
- 13:34Speaker 4: make himself seen to the congregation and to the faithfuls,
- 13:38Speaker 4: he's lost himself. He's lost the flock with him. He
- 13:42Speaker 4: needs to reflect Christ to the congregation, not himself. A
- 13:46Speaker 4: leader that makes followers love him, not Christ, is a failure.
- 13:51Speaker 4: But the leader that makes the followers love Christ through him,
- 13:55Speaker 4: that is a successful leader. Today leaders are sitting on
- 13:59Speaker 4: those thrones. And by the way, that throne is Christ's.
- 14:02Speaker 4: It's not mine. All of us. We were in the
- 14:04Speaker 4: pigs field. Who brought me out of that pigs field,
- 14:07Speaker 4: who brought me out of the filth of the world
- 14:09Speaker 4: and the temptation of the world.
- 14:10Speaker 1: The blood of the lamb of God who was shed
- 14:13Speaker 1: on Calvary.
- 14:14Speaker 4: Now when I look at the cross, that is the
- 14:16Speaker 4: power of God. This is the ultimate ultimate love when
- 14:21Speaker 4: I give my life for the one I love, when
- 14:25Speaker 4: I give my life for the one I love. And
- 14:27Speaker 4: we see this love illustrated in a very sort of
- 14:31Speaker 4: small level, at parenthood level.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Parents.
- 14:35Speaker 4: If I ask a father or a mother, why are
- 14:38Speaker 4: you working so hard?
- 14:40Speaker 1: What are you trying to do? Want? I'm running. I'm
- 14:43Speaker 1: doing this.
- 14:43Speaker 4: I'm working twenty four to seven NonStop because I want
- 14:46Speaker 4: to provide a good future for my children. I want
- 14:50Speaker 4: them to be healthy, I want them to be prosperous, successful.
- 14:53Speaker 4: I am devoting my time and sacrificing that time, which
- 14:57Speaker 4: is life, for my children, for their well being. Why
- 15:00Speaker 4: are you doing this? Is this weakness? No, this is
- 15:03Speaker 4: the heart of strength and power when you give your
- 15:07Speaker 4: life for the one you love. The problem with the
- 15:10Speaker 4: church the moment the leader is seen, not Christ, there
- 15:15Speaker 4: is no power and that leader, there is no power
- 15:17Speaker 4: in that church. The current of the world will wash
- 15:20Speaker 4: it away. And this is what we're seeing. You know,
- 15:24Speaker 4: when plandemic hit, I always say this, I always say this.
- 15:28Speaker 4: I'm not judging anything I'm judging myself. I'm not judging.
- 15:32Speaker 4: God is the judge. But it hurts me so deeply
- 15:35Speaker 4: and so profoundly. The Lord Jesus has been crying out
- 15:39Speaker 4: from Calvary on the cross for over sixteen hundred years
- 15:44Speaker 4: for the Church to be united in Him, for the
- 15:47Speaker 4: Church to be united in him. You see all these
- 15:49Speaker 4: different factions Catholics, Orthodoxy or Eastern and Oriental. You see
- 15:54Speaker 4: a Protestant branches, thousands of branches in there. The Lord
- 15:57Speaker 4: is saying, unite, unite, unite. Till this very moment, we
- 16:00Speaker 4: haven't put a smile on the Lord's face by uniting
- 16:03Speaker 4: in his name. But when the vaccine came, when the
- 16:07Speaker 4: plandemic came, all church leaders spoke the same language. Amazing.
- 16:11Speaker 4: We did not unite for Christ, but we united for Satan. Now,
- 16:14Speaker 4: to me, Christ is missing. Christ is missing. You know,
- 16:18Speaker 4: certain people came out and spoke about what was happening
- 16:22Speaker 4: in the world. I know their backgrounds. It doesn't take
- 16:25Speaker 4: a genius to figure out who these people are and
- 16:28Speaker 4: where their backgrounds are. How come luck someone in this
- 16:31Speaker 4: influential position, who is well educated and well informed and
- 16:34Speaker 4: embedded in scriptures and other fields.
- 16:38Speaker 1: You do not know where this is coming from.
- 16:40Speaker 4: You do not know, but for you to be silent
- 16:43Speaker 4: and not only solid, I wish they were silent, but
- 16:45Speaker 4: they were supportive and encouraging and standing on that pulpit
- 16:48Speaker 4: and encouraging the flood to follow suit. For me, this
- 16:52Speaker 4: is total denial of Jesus Christ and the making, and
- 16:56Speaker 4: that's why Satan has engulfed the churches and took it
- 16:59Speaker 4: over way to Hell. Christianity is not going to resonate
- 17:04Speaker 4: in the twenty first century with a lot of people
- 17:07Speaker 4: of the twenty first century for one reason. But that's
- 17:12Speaker 4: one side of the story. If I have the time,
- 17:14Speaker 4: I want to share the other side. One is there
- 17:17Speaker 4: are three kind of cultures. If we speak about cultures,
- 17:20Speaker 4: no more, no less. There is the theonomous culture, there
- 17:24Speaker 4: is the heteronomous culture, and there is the autonomous culture.
- 17:27Speaker 4: These are all Greek names. Theos means God Normo's law,
- 17:31Speaker 4: soos God's law culture. And there's Hedos, another law culture.
- 17:37Speaker 4: And there is the autonomous self law culture. If we
- 17:40Speaker 4: were to ask this question to the human race of
- 17:43Speaker 4: the twenty first century, which out of these three cultures
- 17:46Speaker 4: is the twenty first century definitely would be the third
- 17:50Speaker 4: one autonomous culture. It is a self driven culture. It's
- 17:53Speaker 4: all about.
- 17:54Speaker 1: Me, me, me, me me.
- 17:56Speaker 4: And the Lord Jesus come says, it's all about Christ,
- 18:00Speaker 4: not you. You need to deny yourself in order for
- 18:02Speaker 4: Christ to live in you. Because this is the concept
- 18:05Speaker 4: of love. The problem and with all of them, respect
- 18:09Speaker 4: in Islam. The concept of love in Christianity has got
- 18:12Speaker 4: nothing to do with the concept of love in Islam.
- 18:16Speaker 1: Totally different.
- 18:17Speaker 4: Now, because Islam and other are called religions. Now, when
- 18:22Speaker 4: you invoke the name religion automatically, you are invoking a
- 18:26Speaker 4: sort of rules, guidelines, laws and regulations. You got to Islam,
- 18:30Speaker 4: you got to Buddhism, Hinduism and all of them.
- 18:32Speaker 1: They will tell you.
- 18:33Speaker 4: If you wish to end up in a nice place,
- 18:36Speaker 4: you need to do this and this and this and this.
- 18:39Speaker 4: It's all about you. You need to do it when
- 18:42Speaker 4: you come to Christianity John fifteen five. The Lord Jesus
- 18:46Speaker 4: says it and plays the foundation so you know clearly,
- 18:50Speaker 4: and he says, without me, you cannot do anything. So
- 18:55Speaker 4: now when you come and you have to do this.
- 18:58Speaker 4: You have to do this and this and this to
- 19:00Speaker 4: get somewhere in Christianity. It's not a religion in the
- 19:04Speaker 4: sense of a religion, because it's a belief in a person. Why,
- 19:08Speaker 4: because when you speak about love, love cannot be found
- 19:12Speaker 4: in law. It can only be found in a person
- 19:16Speaker 4: with another person in a relationship. I cannot love law
- 19:19Speaker 4: because love says if you break the law, the law
- 19:22Speaker 4: will break you. But when I came to the Lord Jesus,
- 19:25Speaker 4: he said, accept me in your life, and let me
- 19:28Speaker 4: do all the good things which God wants you to do.
- 19:32Speaker 4: Let me do them through you and with you. So
- 19:35Speaker 4: now when people come and ask me are Christians, especially youth,
- 19:40Speaker 4: I say to them, you don't have to go to church.
- 19:43Speaker 4: Who told you you have to go to church? Who
- 19:45Speaker 4: told you you have to pray? Who told you you
- 19:47Speaker 4: have to read the Holy Bible? Who told you have
- 19:49Speaker 4: to fast? They get a shock, They go back and
- 19:52Speaker 4: change color. Oh that's coming from a bishop. Really, they
- 19:57Speaker 4: feel good at the beginning because it's a rel Oh,
- 20:00Speaker 4: I don't have to thank God. I'm gonna go and
- 20:03Speaker 4: tell my mom and dad get off my case. Don't
- 20:06Speaker 4: ever force me to go to church, and don't tell
- 20:08Speaker 4: me you have to go to church. The bishop, the
- 20:10Speaker 4: good looking bishop said, don't get left so now. But
- 20:15Speaker 4: then I say to them, I'll ask you this, and
- 20:18Speaker 4: be honest. Do you love the Lord Jesus. If you're
- 20:21Speaker 4: gonna say yes, then if you love him, you have
- 20:24Speaker 4: to go to church. If you love him, you have
- 20:26Speaker 4: to read the Holy Bible. If you love him, you
- 20:29Speaker 4: have to pray, you have to fast if you love him.
- 20:33Speaker 4: So with then autonomous, with a self driven culture, autonomous culture,
- 20:40Speaker 4: it is very difficult to give up on me in
- 20:43Speaker 4: order to live for Christ.
- 20:45Speaker 1: That's one side.
- 20:46Speaker 4: On the other side again we come back to the
- 20:48Speaker 4: Church of the twenty first century. It is Leodkia, the
- 20:52Speaker 4: final stage of the church. The Lord prophesied two over
- 20:55Speaker 4: two thousand years ago and said, at the end, my
- 20:58Speaker 4: church would have gone against me at cerebellious church. And
- 21:03Speaker 4: why cerebellious church? Because again today it's a self driven culture.
- 21:08Speaker 4: Even in the church, even in the leadership of the church,
- 21:11Speaker 4: everybody is seeking their own thron and their own glory
- 21:14Speaker 4: and their own power. When I want to be sent
- 21:19Speaker 4: to a church, please send me where there is a
- 21:21Speaker 4: big congregation. I don't want to go to a little
- 21:23Speaker 4: village with only couple of families. There I won't be seen,
- 21:26Speaker 4: but I want to be in a church where there
- 21:28Speaker 4: is hundreds and millions of people that come to that church.
- 21:31Speaker 4: I with this, I feel I'm powerful. I am in charge.
- 21:36Speaker 4: But that is not Christianity, that is not Christ himself.
- 21:39Speaker 4: But let me say this, dear Patrick, the Christ I
- 21:43Speaker 4: came to know through his grace, I'll die for him
- 21:45Speaker 4: any second. I do not give one penny with all
- 21:49Speaker 4: love and respect, no matter what happens, because the Christ
- 21:53Speaker 4: that came and revealed himself to this piece of wreck
- 21:56Speaker 4: is the only one. He is my king, my Lord,
- 21:58Speaker 4: my God, my Savior, my redeemer forever. And I will
- 22:02Speaker 4: stand and speak the truth. Let the whole world hate me.
- 22:05Speaker 4: I do not care. With love and humility I say this,
- 22:07Speaker 4: I do not care. You know why, because I didn't
- 22:10Speaker 4: come for people to love me. I came for Christ
- 22:13Speaker 4: to be pleased with me and says, this is my
- 22:15Speaker 4: son in whom I am well pleased. Come and inherit
- 22:18Speaker 4: the kingdom of your Father, which was prepared for you
- 22:21Speaker 4: before the creation of the world. Now the issue is
- 22:26Speaker 4: when I come to Christ, and by his grace, I
- 22:30Speaker 4: give my life to him. When he engulfs, when he
- 22:33Speaker 4: takes over, when he rules and reigns over my life.
- 22:38Speaker 4: I fear nothing. You know why, because the moment I
- 22:41Speaker 4: don't have anything worldly materialistically, I don't fear to lose anything.
- 22:48Speaker 4: When I have nothing, I have fear of nothing, because
- 22:52Speaker 4: when I have Christ, I have everything. But the issue
- 22:55Speaker 4: with Christ it is not materialistic. It's spiritual love. Now,
- 23:01Speaker 4: love is the supreme ethic. I ask an atheist, a Muslim,
- 23:04Speaker 4: a Buddhist, Hindu, any human being, do you want to
- 23:07Speaker 4: be loved?
- 23:07Speaker 1: Everybody will say yes.
- 23:09Speaker 4: You know, even when you look at the the serial killers,
- 23:13Speaker 4: even when you look at the at the big drug
- 23:15Speaker 4: addicts and drug dealers. If you trace their life all
- 23:19Speaker 4: the way back back to childhood, or can I show
- 23:21Speaker 4: you a huge percentage they were lacking love at their childhood.
- 23:26Speaker 4: That's why they ended up who they ended up. It
- 23:29Speaker 4: is the love that forms and shapes and molds a
- 23:32Speaker 4: human being. It is that love that never fails. It
- 23:35Speaker 4: is that love that never dies. Christ is calling us
- 23:38Speaker 4: to love him. He is not calling us to follow
- 23:41Speaker 4: a set of rules, godless and regulations. And let me
- 23:45Speaker 4: say this to all the religions of the world you're
- 23:47Speaker 4: talking about. You must fast, and you must do this,
- 23:50Speaker 4: and you must you do your penances and whatever you
- 23:52Speaker 4: have to do. Let me say this, to enter in
- 23:55Speaker 4: the presence of God, who can do what God wants,
- 24:00Speaker 4: who can fulfill the fullness of the law of God.
- 24:04Speaker 4: We are nowhere near that perfection to do and abide
- 24:07Speaker 4: by what God does. He showed that in the Old Testament.
- 24:10Speaker 4: The israel At nations, they failed him from the word
- 24:13Speaker 4: go till the very end. But he is then never
- 24:15Speaker 4: failing God his mercy that carries us, all of us
- 24:18Speaker 4: as humans, regardless whether we are Christians or not. So
- 24:21Speaker 4: when those religions out there, with all love and respect,
- 24:24Speaker 4: they talk about laws, I'll ask them, are you fulfilling
- 24:28Speaker 4: that law? Of course not, You're falling very short of
- 24:31Speaker 4: that law. So don't tell me you have to do
- 24:33Speaker 4: this where you are failing as a leader. Your prophet
- 24:36Speaker 4: failed those laws. Your own prophet failed them. Who Mohammad
- 24:42Speaker 4: and all the other leaders such a reporter. And the
- 24:45Speaker 4: very reason why Mohammad failed because he's dead. Their book
- 24:48Speaker 4: says that. But their book also says about Minosi. Even
- 24:52Speaker 4: though the Isa in the Quran is not the Christ
- 24:54Speaker 4: of the Holy Bible, totally separate people. We cannot claim
- 24:58Speaker 4: something that is not ruthful. I know truth hurts. I'm
- 25:02Speaker 4: not offending people. I'm speaking the truth, and if it
- 25:05Speaker 4: offends you, I'm really sorry. Not I'm not sorry for that.
- 25:09Speaker 4: But let me tell you one thing. Your book says
- 25:11Speaker 4: that Asa son of Mary went up to heaven alive
- 25:14Speaker 4: and he will come back to judge the dead and
- 25:16Speaker 4: the living. If I ask a Muslim who judges, they
- 25:19Speaker 4: will say God will. You're telling me this prophet will judge?
- 25:22Speaker 4: So which is which has the prophet taken? The role
- 25:24Speaker 4: of God? Has God gone on vacation and he's come
- 25:27Speaker 4: and take his position? No, but Asa is the living Messiah.
- 25:32Speaker 4: Even their book says I speak Arabic, I read Arabic,
- 25:36Speaker 4: I am fluent in Arabic. When they say I'm asab
- 25:39Speaker 4: Numeriana rohan Minhu. But Asa son of Mary, Jesus, son
- 25:44Speaker 4: of Mary is the Word of God and the spirit
- 25:46Speaker 4: of God.
- 25:47Speaker 1: Now let me ask you, my.
- 25:49Speaker 4: Dear Muslim, if you're claiming Asa is a prophet, then
- 25:53Speaker 4: how come all the other prophets which you believe in.
- 25:57Speaker 4: You believe in Moses, you believe in Eyes, you believe
- 25:59Speaker 4: in all the prophets of the Old Testament. How come
- 26:02Speaker 4: none of the Old Testament, prophets were referred to as
- 26:05Speaker 4: the Word of God except asa y. How come all
- 26:09Speaker 4: the prophets and every single human being on the face
- 26:13Speaker 4: of this planet was born of an earthly father and
- 26:16Speaker 4: an earthly mother. Yet Jesus, son of Mary was born
- 26:20Speaker 4: in a virginal birth. Through a virginal birth, he has
- 26:23Speaker 4: an earthly mother, but has no earthly father for his
- 26:26Speaker 4: father who art in heaven. Why this raises question marks?
- 26:30Speaker 4: How come this man is different? His birth is different,
- 26:34Speaker 4: his life is different, even his end is different. He
- 26:37Speaker 4: went up alive and he will come back to judge
- 26:41Speaker 4: because he is different. That's the whole story. He is different.
- 26:45Speaker 4: My dear friend, you need to come and seek the
- 26:48Speaker 4: true God with an open mind, open heart. Don't be
- 26:52Speaker 4: phonetic about your faith. And I say this even to
- 26:54Speaker 4: the Christians. The moment we become phonetics about our Christian faith,
- 26:58Speaker 4: We've lost Christ, We've lost the true reflection of Christ.
- 27:02Speaker 4: And you may say, well, I'm a bishop, I'm different
- 27:06Speaker 4: maybe to some Christians that live in this blessed country
- 27:10Speaker 4: of America who are from a Protestant branch. I come
- 27:13Speaker 4: dressed up like a ninja turtle I told myself a
- 27:16Speaker 4: walking tent. But how come a Protestant, how come other Christians?
- 27:22Speaker 4: How come a Muslim? How come a Buddhist?
- 27:24Speaker 1: How come an.
- 27:25Speaker 4: Atheist is listening to this good looking bishop. Why because
- 27:30Speaker 4: that day you and I, Dear Patrick, and all of us,
- 27:34Speaker 4: that day we give our life to Christ. Surrender to
- 27:37Speaker 4: him and say, Lord, it is no longer I but you.
- 27:41Speaker 4: I know I'm weak, I'll fall short, I'll drift away.
- 27:44Speaker 4: But please Lord, even when I miss out, even when
- 27:47Speaker 4: I walk away from you, I'm asking you now before
- 27:50Speaker 4: it happens. When it happens, Lord, remember this moment when
- 27:54Speaker 4: I called and I cried out to you. Lord, have
- 27:56Speaker 4: mercy on me, either, sinner son of David. Have mercy
- 27:59Speaker 4: on me when I pray, when I beg him, when
- 28:02Speaker 4: I cry out to him. Even if I fall short,
- 28:05Speaker 4: he never fails because He is the living God who
- 28:08Speaker 4: was revealed in the flesh. He is the Logos, the
- 28:11Speaker 4: Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. He
- 28:14Speaker 4: is the Way, the truth of the life, and there
- 28:16Speaker 4: is no one else. When Jesus Christ engulfs you and
- 28:19Speaker 4: you surrender to him and he takes over, you have
- 28:22Speaker 4: no fear because Jesus fears no one. If they say
- 28:25Speaker 4: Jesus was weak, excuse me who said to Herod, go
- 28:29Speaker 4: and tell that fox who stood in front of authorities,
- 28:33Speaker 4: and call them the sons of the snake, who said
- 28:35Speaker 4: that it was Jesus of Nazareth. Is that weakness? No,
- 28:39Speaker 4: that is mightiness and power in its call. Why he
- 28:42Speaker 4: was so powerful and blunt because his father was him,
- 28:48Speaker 4: He gave his life. I'm talking about Jesus the man,
- 28:51Speaker 4: because the son of God is God, but the son
- 28:53Speaker 4: of Man, the perfect lamb of God, the perfect man.
- 28:56Speaker 4: This man was fearless. Why because when this man gave
- 29:00Speaker 4: his entire life to God, you fear nothing. You fear
- 29:03Speaker 4: no one. Because when God is with you, who can
- 29:05Speaker 4: be against you. I'll finish off with this Jesus Christ.
- 29:12Speaker 4: I not only believe in him, dear Patrick, I know him.
- 29:15Speaker 4: Look I'm a sinner. I'm the weakest ever. Believe you mean.
- 29:19Speaker 4: I'm talking with my head placed undeathed sandals of the
- 29:24Speaker 4: Lord if he allows me, because his sandals are more
- 29:27Speaker 4: pure than me. But I say this with absolute humility.
- 29:32Speaker 4: The Lord Jesus revealed himself to this piece of rag.
- 29:36Speaker 4: I don't speak about Jesus, just because I believe I'm
- 29:40Speaker 4: a Christian, or I dress up in this cloth, or
- 29:42Speaker 4: I have read the Bible, which I have. No, I
- 29:46Speaker 4: believe in the Lord, and I know the Lord. He
- 29:48Speaker 4: is six foot one, long face, tan skin, greenish eyes, brownie,
- 29:54Speaker 4: crispy hair, split in the middle all the way to
- 29:56Speaker 4: the shoulders, with a very short bead, And after two
- 29:59Speaker 4: thousand and twenty three years, he is still thirty three
- 30:02Speaker 4: years of age and kicking baby. He is the King
- 30:06Speaker 4: of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Yesterday he is,
- 30:09Speaker 4: today he is, and forevermore he is. He is the
- 30:12Speaker 4: never changing God who was revealed in the flesh over
- 30:15Speaker 4: two thousand years ago. And let me say this to
- 30:17Speaker 4: the whole world. Yes, he came over two thousand years
- 30:21Speaker 4: through a virginal birth from our Holy Mother Mary. And
- 30:25Speaker 4: he was crucified. Not he was sent up to heaven. No,
- 30:29Speaker 4: he was crucified. He died in the flesh on the cross,
- 30:32Speaker 4: and he was buried, but rose from the dead on
- 30:35Speaker 4: the third day, ascended to heaven. And he's been sitting
- 30:37Speaker 4: there at the right hand of the Father over two
- 30:40Speaker 4: thousand years ago. And he will come back again to
- 30:42Speaker 4: judge the dead and the living, because he's not just
- 30:44Speaker 4: a prophet, for he is God revealed in the flesh.
- 30:47Speaker 4: This is the Jesus I talk about. That's why I
- 30:50Speaker 4: fear no one. I fear nothing. I'm not here for
- 30:53Speaker 4: people to love me. I'm here for Jesus to be
- 30:55Speaker 4: pleased with this vessel that he uses for his glory
- 30:59Speaker 4: and his glory online. He has showed me heaven and hell.
- 31:03Speaker 4: And let me say this with love and humility. When
- 31:07Speaker 4: you go to heaven, I can as show you. I
- 31:10Speaker 4: can as show you, not because I'm a Christian, not
- 31:13Speaker 4: because I'm a bishop, not because I believe in Jesus Christ,
- 31:16Speaker 4: but I can show you and you. Mohammad will not
- 31:20Speaker 4: greet you, Buddha will not greet you. Christiana will not
- 31:22Speaker 4: greet you because they will not it was. It will
- 31:25Speaker 4: be only one who is the way, the truth, and
- 31:27Speaker 4: the life. It will be Jesus Christ of Nazareth, who
- 31:31Speaker 4: died for you and me. I'm inviting you to accept
- 31:34Speaker 4: Jesus as Lord and Savior because there is no other way.
- 31:38Speaker 4: If we don't have him, we are doomed forever. For
- 31:42Speaker 4: in him eternal life lies. When you go to heaven
- 31:46Speaker 4: and you meet Jesus face to face. Patrick, you come
- 31:49Speaker 4: back to earth. Who cares about a president, about Anthony Fauci,
- 31:53Speaker 4: Klaus Schwab, George Sorrows and the likes? Who cares with
- 31:57Speaker 4: all love and respect? Because when I meet Jesus, I
- 32:01Speaker 4: see everyone a piece of dust. What can a man
- 32:03Speaker 4: do to me?
- 32:04Speaker 1: Oh? They can kill me. Welcome death.
- 32:07Speaker 4: I thank the Lord for death, because the death became
- 32:11Speaker 4: that vehicle that took me to my sweetheart Jesus Christ.
- 32:14Speaker 4: And then I can say I can see him face
- 32:17Speaker 4: to face. No more through a mirror, no more through
- 32:20Speaker 4: a maze, no more through a dream. But I'm seeing
- 32:22Speaker 4: him really face to face. Thank you, Thank you, Thank
- 32:26Speaker 4: you Lord for allowing me to be killed for your sake.
- 32:30Speaker 4: So if they want to kill me, I'm here this face.
- 32:33Speaker 4: Once you see it, it can never miss it, My dear,
- 32:35Speaker 4: So I fear nothing for Jesus Christ is the only God.
- 32:40Speaker 4: Not because I'm a Christian. Forget about Christianity. Focus on Christ.
- 32:44Speaker 4: Just like Mahatma Gandhi, when the British ruled and and
- 32:51Speaker 4: enslave the Indians, he looked at the crucified the picture
- 32:55Speaker 4: of the crucified Jesus He said, you know what, take
- 32:58Speaker 4: away the Christians, but give me the Christ because Christ
- 33:01Speaker 4: wouldn't have done what these Christians would have done. Today,
- 33:04Speaker 4: Christianity and Christians are not reflecting that true Christ. But
- 33:07Speaker 4: the moment any Christian reflects the true Christ, you draw
- 33:11Speaker 4: the whole world to you. Why don't we look at that?
- 33:14Speaker 4: As I mentioned, all glory to the Lord. How come
- 33:17Speaker 4: this odd looking person in America, with this outfit? How
- 33:21Speaker 4: come people are listening to him? Because when you let
- 33:25Speaker 4: Christ speaks, Oh, the Holy Spirit can penetrate any heart,
- 33:29Speaker 4: and any mind and any soul. No one can stop
- 33:32Speaker 4: God or he is the supreme authority.
- 33:34Speaker 2: You know, I would say, I think the only that
- 33:36Speaker 2: was powerful. When you say Fauci and Klaus Schwab, they
- 33:41Speaker 2: would probably want to know if everybody in heaven is vaccinated.
- 33:44Speaker 2: That's what they would happen. Number is very important.
- 33:48Speaker 4: They are vaccinated by the blood of the Lamb of God.
- 33:51Speaker 2: This is the has bars on you yet does Yeah,
- 33:54Speaker 2: I couldn't want to know if you know everyone's vaccinated,
- 33:57Speaker 2: to make sure they're safe. It would be very important
- 33:59Speaker 2: for it want to be wearing masks in heaven.
- 34:01Speaker 4: No, they will not shut this mouth with a mask.
- 34:05Speaker 4: Let me tell you, my dear friend, the only one
- 34:08Speaker 4: who can shut this mouth is Jesus Christ, who gave
- 34:10Speaker 4: this mouth. The only one who gave me this tongue
- 34:13Speaker 4: is the one who's going to take it away, no
- 34:14Speaker 4: one else. So until the day Jesus calls it the
- 34:17Speaker 4: day for this piece of reg you are nothing.
- 34:20Speaker 1: I am nothing, All of us are nothing.
- 34:23Speaker 4: Jesus, I'm inviting you klaushwap, to come back to the Lord,
- 34:26Speaker 4: because let me tell you one thing, all of us,
- 34:28Speaker 4: we will die one day, no matter what you do,
- 34:30Speaker 4: how rich you are, and you may conquer the world.
- 34:33Speaker 4: Where is Augustus Caesar? Where are the pharaohs? Where are
- 34:35Speaker 4: the Assyrian kings? Where are the Macedonian Empire? Where is
- 34:40Speaker 4: the Roman Empire? Where's the Persian and the Meadices Empire?
- 34:42Speaker 4: Where are they gone? With the wind? Never seen? But
- 34:45Speaker 4: where is Christ sitting at the right hand of the
- 34:48Speaker 4: Father and still conquering and still ruling? And there are
- 34:52Speaker 4: millions of people coming to Christ as we speak. Now,
- 34:56Speaker 4: This to me is the problem with us. We need
- 35:00Speaker 4: to use our heads, not our emotions. Sometimes we become
- 35:05Speaker 4: too emotional with things where we need to be more
- 35:10Speaker 4: logical with things. Now, what does it? As the Lord
- 35:13Speaker 4: Jesus said, what does it benefit a man if he
- 35:15Speaker 4: gains the whole world and then loses himself at the end.
- 35:18Speaker 4: I cannot be selfish?
- 35:20Speaker 1: Why?
- 35:21Speaker 4: Because what have I gained by being selfish? I just
- 35:24Speaker 4: want to be successful for me, rich, for myself. I
- 35:27Speaker 4: need to make it to the shores of peace on
- 35:30Speaker 4: my own. What am I going to benefit if I
- 35:33Speaker 4: enter paradise alone, Paradise without people with me, I don't
- 35:38Speaker 4: think it's a really happy place to be. I need
- 35:41Speaker 4: to take people with me. So I need to think
- 35:44Speaker 4: and use my head. What am I gaining if the
- 35:48Speaker 4: whole world is just looking at me, and yet my
- 35:51Speaker 4: brothers and sisters in Christ and the Assyrian nation are
- 35:55Speaker 4: left behind. I look at it now, for example, as
- 35:59Speaker 4: a Christian, and the church people come, and the hundreds
- 36:02Speaker 4: and the thousands, and they say, Bishop, we love you
- 36:04Speaker 4: this and that, and they bow and respect and all
- 36:08Speaker 4: the rest of it. But then I'm sitting on that
- 36:11Speaker 4: high throne. Okay, what am I gaining by sitting on
- 36:15Speaker 4: that high throne? Yet I have my own people, my
- 36:18Speaker 4: own flesh and blood, suffering being persecuted all over the world.
- 36:24Speaker 4: What am I doing about this? What? What is this
- 36:29Speaker 4: uniform going to do? And the throne that I sit
- 36:32Speaker 4: on going to do for me? If my son, my daughter,
- 36:36Speaker 4: my brother, my sister, my father, my mother are left
- 36:39Speaker 4: in the street, I'm a loser. Even if I'm the pope,
- 36:44Speaker 4: I'm a loser. Christ is the ultimate. Christ is the ultimate.
- 36:51Speaker 4: You know, when we talk as church leaders, on earth
- 36:57Speaker 4: we need to be street beggars. We need to be
- 37:00Speaker 4: street beggars, not kings. Kingship will come in the next
- 37:03Speaker 4: life by the grace of God. But on earth, I
- 37:06Speaker 4: need to be a street beggar. I need to walk
- 37:09Speaker 4: in the footprints of the Messiah. When they ask the
- 37:12Speaker 4: Lord Jesus, do we pay taxes to Caesar or not?
- 37:16Speaker 4: Do we pay taxes to Caesar or not? The Lord
- 37:19Speaker 4: Jesus said, give me that denari, Show me that denari.
- 37:24Speaker 4: And he asked them, He said, whose image and writing
- 37:27Speaker 4: is imprinted on this coin? They said, Caesar. Well, he said,
- 37:31Speaker 4: then render what is Caesar's to Caesar and what is
- 37:34Speaker 4: God's to God? He said, how come you people realize
- 37:39Speaker 4: this is Caesar's image and you've known this is Caesar's image? Therefore,
- 37:44Speaker 4: this coin belongs to Caesar, since it's his image imprinted
- 37:48Speaker 4: on it. And yet you have failed to realize whose
- 37:51Speaker 4: image is imprinted on you. Isn't it God's Genesis one
- 37:55Speaker 4: twenty six. Let us go down and make man in
- 37:58Speaker 4: our image according to our likeness. I didn't come seeking
- 38:02Speaker 4: your pocket. I came seeking your hearts. I came seeking
- 38:06Speaker 4: that image which was imprinted on you from the very beginning,
- 38:10Speaker 4: which is the image of God. Love is the supreme ethic.
- 38:15Speaker 4: This is what we're missing, you see in the church.
- 38:19Speaker 4: In order for me to remember my afflicted brother and sister,
- 38:23Speaker 4: my son in Christ, my daughter in Christ. In order
- 38:26Speaker 4: for me as a church leader to remember them, and
- 38:29Speaker 4: not only remember them, to get up from that high
- 38:32Speaker 4: throne and high place and be humble and go in
- 38:36Speaker 4: that street and sit at the guta and share the
- 38:39Speaker 4: meal with that afflicted person. The only way I can
- 38:43Speaker 4: do this when I see myself as a father, not
- 38:46Speaker 4: as a leader.
- 38:47Speaker 2: I Assyrian, and I'm Armenian, and I was born in Iran,
- 38:50Speaker 2: and I was made in America. So to me, those
- 38:52Speaker 2: four places matter to me a lot. Why don't what
- 38:56Speaker 2: do Assyrians need to do? Is it really truly faith? First,
- 39:00Speaker 2: and let's just say if it is, then what is it?
- 39:03Speaker 2: What needs to be next and what is that goal.
- 39:05Speaker 4: I believe if we were to put two people in
- 39:08Speaker 4: the same situation, you'll always see there's an outcome different
- 39:12Speaker 4: to the other. I remember there was one they shot
- 39:15Speaker 4: on television back in Australia and Sydney. Two twin brothers.
- 39:19Speaker 4: Two twin brothers. One wasn't one end up being an alcoholic,
- 39:26Speaker 4: the other one was a very successful businessman. They interviewed
- 39:30Speaker 4: both and look at what they said twin brothers. The
- 39:34Speaker 4: alcoholic one, they said, why did he end up being
- 39:36Speaker 4: an alcoholic? He said, my dad was an alcoholic and
- 39:40Speaker 4: that's all I knew growing up. I became like dad.
- 39:45Speaker 4: The other one, they said, well, why did he become
- 39:47Speaker 4: a successful businessman? He said, when I saw my dad
- 39:51Speaker 4: the way he was, I decided for myself, whatever happens,
- 39:55Speaker 4: I will never end up like dad. I'll make sure
- 39:58Speaker 4: I will be totally different and to prove to my
- 40:01Speaker 4: dad that I.
- 40:02Speaker 1: Can make it.
- 40:03Speaker 4: If you couldn't, look ause, I'm going back to that
- 40:06Speaker 4: real example between the two twin brothers.
- 40:09Speaker 1: Why did this.
- 40:10Speaker 4: One decided to be like that and the other one
- 40:12Speaker 4: totally opposite to that. I believe experiences in life should
- 40:18Speaker 4: be a very very valuable lesson for all of us.
- 40:23Speaker 4: So we need to learn from the successes and the failures.
- 40:25Speaker 4: And we all go through success and failures, and speaking
- 40:29Speaker 4: as a nation, all nations do go through that. But
- 40:33Speaker 4: the thing I pray for our Assyrian nation is to
- 40:37Speaker 4: learn from the experiences of life in the past and
- 40:42Speaker 4: try to come up with a better way of making
- 40:47Speaker 4: the future more brighter for.
- 40:48Speaker 1: The whole nation.
- 40:50Speaker 4: Until now, I don't think we have reached that level
- 40:54Speaker 4: to say that we have learned from our failures in
- 40:57Speaker 4: the past to try make a better future and more
- 41:00Speaker 4: successful future. We still have divisions within within our nation.
- 41:06Speaker 4: We still have divisions with our within our own church
- 41:08Speaker 4: as well. So how can then we have a land
- 41:12Speaker 4: when we are really divided and so many factions. It
- 41:15Speaker 4: is impossible, impossible. So we need to come back and
- 41:19Speaker 4: really and say until when are we going to remain
- 41:23Speaker 4: in division?
- 41:24Speaker 1: Until when?
- 41:25Speaker 4: As you mentioned Theopatrick earlier, our beloved Jews, Okay, when
- 41:29Speaker 4: it comes to nationalism, they all are united. They all
- 41:33Speaker 4: come into it and they need to support their nation,
- 41:35Speaker 4: their country, their their identity. We need to do the
- 41:39Speaker 4: same thing, but we are still fighting over trivial things
- 41:42Speaker 4: that are really not worth, you know, spending that time on.
- 41:46Speaker 4: We need to move away from that haunting past where
- 41:52Speaker 4: it's bringing more and more division, and we need to
- 41:55Speaker 4: find a way to come into unity and say this
- 41:58Speaker 4: is the way we need to do.
- 42:00Speaker 1: But a problem.
- 42:01Speaker 4: See that any human being cannot be free from earthly
- 42:08Speaker 4: things until they come into this encounter with the true
- 42:14Speaker 4: divine God. We need to come back to Jesus Christ
- 42:18Speaker 4: of Nazareth as a nation. I believe this. Now, some
- 42:21Speaker 4: people may disagree with me. Some people within the Assyrian
- 42:25Speaker 4: nation may not even believe in the Lord Jesus as
- 42:28Speaker 4: being God. But whether you accept it or not, this
- 42:33Speaker 4: is the truth. My dear friend, my dear brother, my
- 42:35Speaker 4: dear sister. We need God in our life in order
- 42:39Speaker 4: to unite first as people, then to seek a place
- 42:43Speaker 4: for the stream.
- 42:44Speaker 2: Now, if we winning to me is unified. If we
- 42:49Speaker 2: can go and bring our power together, our influence together,
- 42:53Speaker 2: and we have a common vision we've all agreed on
- 42:55Speaker 2: that we're going to. Now you can say from the pulpit,
- 42:58Speaker 2: Now you can say from your podcast. Now this person
- 43:01Speaker 2: can say from their military base. Now that guy can
- 43:03Speaker 2: say it from the comedy stage. Now this guy can
- 43:05Speaker 2: say from a movie. That guy can say from an
- 43:08Speaker 2: acceptance speech. This guy can say from this place, from business.
- 43:10Speaker 2: It doesn't matter.
- 43:11Speaker 1: We have to.
- 43:11Speaker 2: Collectively bring all our resources to tell the world here's
- 43:16Speaker 2: what we're doing, get the backing of it, and then
- 43:19Speaker 2: use whatever resources we can bring to the table to
- 43:21Speaker 2: go win. Winning will be. We got a land, there's representation,
- 43:25Speaker 2: Here's how it's being protected. Here's what we're going to
- 43:27Speaker 2: be doing. That's what I mean by.
- 43:29Speaker 4: It when I mentioned earlier that we lacking leadership. Like,
- 43:33Speaker 4: for example, if a father at home, the father needs
- 43:38Speaker 4: to be the servant of that household. He cannot be
- 43:41Speaker 4: the dictator of that household. He needs to lead by example.
- 43:45Speaker 4: How do I teach my children to be faithful, to
- 43:49Speaker 4: be morally sound and all that?
- 43:52Speaker 1: I need to lead by example.
- 43:54Speaker 4: The problem with us as Assyrians, we have missed, we
- 43:59Speaker 4: lacked that trust of that leadership. Maybe there has come
- 44:02Speaker 4: leaders in the past, but there was no leading by example.
- 44:06Speaker 4: That's why that trust is also broken. You see, as
- 44:11Speaker 4: I said, we are a broken nation. We are shattered,
- 44:14Speaker 4: we are scattered everywhere. Recently, we just visited three different countries, Turkey, Lebanon,
- 44:22Speaker 4: and Syria, and we've met a lot of Assyrian people
- 44:25Speaker 4: in these three countries. That was back in September of
- 44:28Speaker 4: the sea when we went to this particular city. The
- 44:32Speaker 4: person whom we have been dealing with back in Sydney
- 44:36Speaker 4: and you know, sending whatever support we could send, by
- 44:38Speaker 4: the grace of the Lord. When he greeted us at
- 44:41Speaker 4: the airport, he said, Bishop, and you are the first
- 44:46Speaker 4: bishop in one hundred years to enter the city. We
- 44:49Speaker 4: have never seen a bishop ever coming to the city
- 44:53Speaker 4: and just saying hello. We're not seeking financial support. We're
- 44:56Speaker 4: not saying so and so, leader, please bring money. We
- 45:00Speaker 4: need money. No, we need love. We need a leader
- 45:04Speaker 4: that is thinking of us. We need a leader that
- 45:07Speaker 4: is coming to us. Whether I am in the street,
- 45:11Speaker 4: wherever I am, I want to see my leader to
- 45:14Speaker 4: be hands on. I want to see my leader walking
- 45:17Speaker 4: the streets barefooted. I want to see my leader leading
- 45:21Speaker 4: me and that great. This is what we are lacking now.
- 45:23Speaker 4: For a leader to go there for the first time
- 45:26Speaker 4: in one hundred years, that is disastrous. That is disastrous.
- 45:29Speaker 4: All glory to the Lord Jesus. If there is a sinner.
- 45:32Speaker 4: It is me, but my heart is broken, is shattered
- 45:38Speaker 4: as a Christian Assyrian, and I will say Christian Assyrian
- 45:42Speaker 4: because the only time I will be a proud Christian
- 45:46Speaker 4: when Christ is the crown of my glory. This is
- 45:50Speaker 4: the dilemma. I'm sorry, but this is the truth and
- 45:53Speaker 4: I'm not sorry for it. We need to come back
- 45:57Speaker 4: to Jesus Christ, because who sent me to that city.
- 46:00Speaker 4: It was the Lord Jesus who reminded me of my
- 46:04Speaker 4: brethrens that are suffering.
- 46:06Speaker 1: It was the Lord Jesus.
- 46:08Speaker 4: Who made me to walk the distance. It was the Lord,
- 46:13Speaker 4: not me, not my earthly father, not my earthly mother.
- 46:17Speaker 4: It is Jesus Christ of Nazareth who said to me,
- 46:21Speaker 4: go and seek those who are missing, forgotten, afflicted.
- 46:25Speaker 1: Left behind.
- 46:26Speaker 4: It's the Lord we are missing this in our leadership roles.
- 46:33Speaker 4: The fear of the Lord is the beginning to wisdom.
- 46:37Speaker 4: Rischhem te de hilted maria. That's the Aramic language, rischhema
- 46:41Speaker 4: de hilted maria, which it can be translated as well,
- 46:44Speaker 4: the foundation. The foundation of wisdom is the fear of
- 46:49Speaker 4: the Lord, because the beginning here means the foundation. Now,
- 46:54Speaker 4: as a leader, you need to be the foundation. But
- 46:56Speaker 4: guess what. The foundation is the one that carries the
- 46:58Speaker 4: entire structure. The foundation is the one that is unseen.
- 47:04Speaker 4: You see, when you look at a house, when you
- 47:06Speaker 4: look at a beautiful tree, you'll stand and contemplate on
- 47:10Speaker 4: that tree, and you say, what a beautiful tree. Look
- 47:13Speaker 4: at the branches, look at the leaves, look at the fruits.
- 47:16Speaker 4: But all this beauty was made possible by the hidden
- 47:19Speaker 4: roots underneath that ground.
- 47:22Speaker 1: It is the roots.
- 47:23Speaker 4: And this is why Saint Paul puts it so beautifully.
- 47:25Speaker 4: He says, children, no matter how smart, how wise, you
- 47:29Speaker 4: are unsuccessful, do not forget you are the fruits. And
- 47:32Speaker 4: the fruits do not carry the tree. It is the roots.
- 47:35Speaker 4: Who are the parents who carry this tree? Again, coming back,
- 47:38Speaker 4: as George mentioned, who is in charge and whoever is
- 47:42Speaker 4: in charge need be hidden, I e. Self denial. The
- 47:47Speaker 4: problem with our leadership, whether as a nation or as
- 47:51Speaker 4: a church, the moment we sent on that throne, we
- 47:54Speaker 4: think we are augusta Caesar. Listen, my dear friend, that
- 47:59Speaker 4: thron of being a patriarch, of being a bishop, That
- 48:03Speaker 4: throne is the throne of being the servant of all,
- 48:06Speaker 4: not the leader of all in the sense of controlling
- 48:10Speaker 4: the problem with our nation. We do not have enough
- 48:15Speaker 4: humble leaders. We do not have enough god fearing leaders.
- 48:20Speaker 4: I'm not saying we don't entirely, No, we do, but
- 48:24Speaker 4: there is not enough of them, and unfortunately, this is
- 48:28Speaker 4: the dilemma of our people. Assyrian people. I have to
- 48:34Speaker 4: be honest. Assyrian people are very kind hearted people, are
- 48:39Speaker 4: very generous people. They sacrifice. When we ask for help,
- 48:45Speaker 4: they come out and even if they don't have they
- 48:48Speaker 4: will do their ultimate best to give.
- 48:50Speaker 1: Very generous people.
- 48:52Speaker 4: This is in our blood, in our DNA. Compared to
- 48:54Speaker 4: other nationalities, with all other respect, I've seen it. Very
- 48:58Speaker 4: generous people, but they lack trust and their leadership.
- 49:03Speaker 3: All right, Well, I don't know about you, but that
- 49:05Speaker 3: makes me want to delve deeper into who this guy is,
- 49:10Speaker 3: what he does. This is mar Maury, he was. That
- 49:16Speaker 3: was a great interview. He's very educated. It makes me
- 49:19Speaker 3: dig deeper into Christianity and it makes me understand more
- 49:25Speaker 3: about my faith. So this is gil. Please like, subscribe, share,
- 49:29Speaker 3: and comment. I hope that you got something out of this.
- 49:32Speaker 3: I'll be sending more interviews with him to you guys,
- 49:35Speaker 3: so please enjoy. I hope that you do. I will
- 49:38Speaker 3: talk to you later Bye.
