- 0:00Speaker 1: The Woody Show.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Well, if there's anybody here that's going to have an
- 0:06Speaker 2: unpopular opinion, it would be I would say Sea Bass
- 0:09Speaker 2: probably probably number one, which truth bombs me number two?
- 0:15Speaker 3: Yeah, I would agree with that.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Yeah. After that, it's kind of like, I don't know,
- 0:20Speaker 2: it's a toss up anybody's guests. Yeah, maybe Greg number three,
- 0:25Speaker 2: because Greg, you're.
- 0:26Speaker 4: Pretty opinionated, but I think mine are pretty spot on there.
- 0:33Speaker 5: They're just fact.
- 0:34Speaker 2: They're just yeah, yeah, they're just like loaded in so
- 0:36Speaker 2: much fact, so much truth, you know, right, Yeah, but
- 0:40Speaker 2: you know, one of the unpopular opinions that Sea Bass
- 0:43Speaker 2: has brought up a number of times on this show
- 0:45Speaker 2: is how he doesn't really have any respect for teachers. Wrong.
- 0:52Speaker 6: I mean, I think that's perhaps an oversimplification of my
- 0:55Speaker 6: particular gripe with them. I think that they, especially around
- 0:59Speaker 6: the pandemic, kick this off the most is they love
- 1:03Speaker 6: patting themselves on the back, and any group that has
- 1:05Speaker 6: to tell you how good they are and how heroic,
- 1:08Speaker 6: especially heroic and selfless and all this other stuff they
- 1:12Speaker 6: are isn't. And that's what this has happened a couple
- 1:15Speaker 6: of times here recently. I'm actually, look, I'm applying to
- 1:18Speaker 6: be a teacher. Right now, my application is still in
- 1:20Speaker 6: the pipeline. But this happened recently too, where we Tracy
- 1:24Speaker 6: Morgan was talking about it. He had a different angle
- 1:26Speaker 6: on it, but Dave Portnoy and Barstools Sports came up
- 1:29Speaker 6: with something apparently out of the blue. He said, quote,
- 1:33Speaker 6: I find the two most insufferable groups of people on
- 1:35Speaker 6: the planet are lifetime educators and lifetime politicians. Both live
- 1:38Speaker 6: in a fantasy world that lacks common sense, that would
- 1:40Speaker 6: not survive a day in the real world. Now, he
- 1:43Speaker 6: clarified that, saying that his mom indeed was a teacher.
- 1:45Speaker 6: He's not talking about your high school elish teacher. He's
- 1:47Speaker 6: talking about the administrators, tenured faculty blah blah blah blah blah,
- 1:51Speaker 6: which I fully agree with. And when he kind of
- 1:52Speaker 6: tied it into politicians, there is when you have a
- 1:54Speaker 6: position where you're not really tied from day to day
- 1:57Speaker 6: responsibilities and day to day productivity and stuff like that.
- 2:00Speaker 2: You're like, what you do is just garbage.
- 2:02Speaker 6: It's not like I've talked about in our industry, like
- 2:05Speaker 6: the metrics of that middle management layer is just disgusting
- 2:09Speaker 6: and worthless, just just a pain of it butt, it's
- 2:13Speaker 6: just they provide. They all they are are an obstacle
- 2:18Speaker 6: to success and productivity.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that's what they're for. I mean, they're they're
- 2:22Speaker 2: the barrier to the people who actually make the decisions,
- 2:25Speaker 2: so they don't have to keep telling everybody no. So
- 2:26Speaker 2: those people, those middle management people are just trained to
- 2:29Speaker 2: say no, which is why when you say, well, why
- 2:33Speaker 2: is it no, they go, well, it's just the world
- 2:34Speaker 2: we live in. It is what it is, right, which
- 2:38Speaker 2: is just got to dig out. But how many times
- 2:39Speaker 2: those same people that's what they're there for. They're there
- 2:41Speaker 2: to create that bear because most people then that's what
- 2:43Speaker 2: they give up. Very few people will go above and
- 2:47Speaker 2: beyond that or pushing further or go above them.
- 2:50Speaker 6: And and I say to that charge, I say to that, well,
- 2:55Speaker 6: that's unhelpful, because I will and I'll use somebody that
- 2:58Speaker 6: I rarely trumpet, but Elon Musk.
- 3:03Speaker 2: He famously does exact.
- 3:05Speaker 6: And a lot of other ceo like great people who
- 3:09Speaker 6: run companies, what they'll do is they go they they
- 3:12Speaker 6: they know that middle management layer is worthless and a
- 3:14Speaker 6: painting the button offers no value. So they go and
- 3:16Speaker 6: talk to the engineers because every A lot of a
- 3:19Speaker 6: lot of CEOs will tell you that by the time
- 3:22Speaker 6: information gets up to them, it's been sanitized and cleaned
- 3:25Speaker 6: and everything.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Everything's bright and rosy and everything's fantastic. That's what I
- 3:28Speaker 2: hear from our CEO all the time. He goes You're
- 3:30Speaker 2: one of the only people who will tell me actually
- 3:31Speaker 2: what's going on. And he should be doing it in
- 3:33Speaker 2: a very real way. Yeah, and no offense to him,
- 3:34Speaker 2: but he should be doing that all the time. He
- 3:36Speaker 2: should not be talking to the senior VP and blah
- 3:38Speaker 2: blah blah and garbage blah blah blah blah whatever, because they're.
- 3:40Speaker 6: Just gonna give him garbage. They're gonna give nothing the
- 3:42Speaker 6: interesting analysis or actual they're telling the best version of
- 3:46Speaker 6: whatever it is. Exactly like when we went to SpaceX,
- 3:48Speaker 6: what do he like the people that we met with?
- 3:50Speaker 6: They said that Elon Musk met with every single person.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Oh yeah, down to the people that are working at
- 3:55Speaker 2: the little coffee shop.
- 3:56Speaker 6: Yeah, right, because that's because that's where the actual stuff
- 3:59Speaker 6: is happening. The middle management or in this case, the
- 4:01Speaker 6: the quote unquote educators are worthless.
- 4:04Speaker 2: So Dave Portnoy and then the Tracy Morgan you were mentioning.
- 4:07Speaker 6: Yeah, this Tracy Morgan things a little different. He as
- 4:10Speaker 6: Tracy Morgan often does, he went in a different direction.
- 4:12Speaker 2: He was talking to their opinion. Yeah, he was talking
- 4:14Speaker 2: without opinion.
- 4:15Speaker 6: Current SNL cast member Marcelo Hernandez and the teachers came
- 4:18Speaker 6: up in their conversation.
- 4:19Speaker 1: You had a sense of humor and they can't control that.
- 4:23Speaker 1: And now look at it. I'm getting paid for mischief
- 4:25Speaker 1: and they still making minimum wage.
- 4:28Speaker 2: No teachers.
- 4:32Speaker 1: You know how much some teachers probably making right now. Man,
- 4:34Speaker 1: not enough. And I can't stand teachers. You know why,
- 4:38Speaker 1: because they have a ceiling. They have a limit. That's
- 4:41Speaker 1: all they ever gonna be. Man, I teach my kids.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Sky's the limits a man, damn.
- 4:51Speaker 6: But he Tracy Morgan right there, while he's trapping on
- 4:54Speaker 6: them for a totally different reason, he's actually hitting on
- 4:57Speaker 6: something that's that's backed up by the data. And this
- 5:00Speaker 6: is I'm not cherry picking. This has been going on
- 5:02Speaker 6: for decades. When you look at standardized testing scores and
- 5:05Speaker 6: IQ scores, all those things of that nature, people who
- 5:08Speaker 6: want to be educators to go into education field, teachers
- 5:11Speaker 6: score very low score compared to plenty of other of
- 5:16Speaker 6: other you know, engineering, I forget engineering, just like just
- 5:19Speaker 6: generic you know, general jobs out there, generic professions, they
- 5:24Speaker 6: are surprisingly stupid.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Or are you? Are you talking about more of those
- 5:31Speaker 2: higher level level things.
- 5:33Speaker 6: There s A T. S g R's is across the board.
- 5:35Speaker 6: When you look at any measure of people who go
- 5:37Speaker 6: into education, teaching, blah blah blah, they are at the
- 5:40Speaker 6: absolute bottom compared to all kinds of other stuff. That's
- 5:42Speaker 6: saying people they can't do teach, people.
- 5:44Speaker 2: Who can't who aren't smart teach. I think, yeah, so, guys,
- 5:50Speaker 2: just to rewind a few minutes ago where he told
- 5:53Speaker 2: me I oversimplified things. I think I wrapped it up
- 5:56Speaker 2: pretty concise.
- 5:57Speaker 6: But see, but I'm giving you data and facts, okay,
- 6:00Speaker 6: I mean look at look on S S A T
- 6:03Speaker 6: scores by college major education is always at the bottom.
- 6:06Speaker 3: And then their answer to that is we should do
- 6:08Speaker 3: away with these standardized tests, right.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Because they they revealed too much. Uh So, what we've done,
- 6:14Speaker 2: I had Jeff g collect each one of you should
- 6:17Speaker 2: have written an unpopular opinion that you have on a
- 6:20Speaker 2: slip of paper. They all got put into the studio
- 6:23Speaker 2: top hat, and then we'll draw some of these out
- 6:26Speaker 2: and then everybody can try to take a guess of
- 6:28Speaker 2: who that unpopular opinion belongs to.
- 6:30Speaker 7: Twind makes everything worse, hot, uncomfortable, but windy worse, okay, rain,
- 6:39Speaker 7: but WinCE but worse.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Yeah, if you're just tuning in, Sea Bass was give
- 6:50Speaker 2: me a little bit more insight into his I hate teachers.
- 6:53Speaker 6: Ran why they're overrated and self congratulatory.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Talking about that, somebody said, damn Sea Bass up in
- 7:00Speaker 2: truth bombs. Well that's what I do. And then there's
- 7:02Speaker 2: a fifty two of bombs. Another text here that says,
- 7:06Speaker 2: Sea Bass, I saw a lady wearing a shirt the
- 7:09Speaker 2: other day it said, quote, I'm a special education educator.
- 7:12Speaker 2: What's your superpower? You couldn't even say teacher educator?
- 7:16Speaker 6: So meaning you are in that especially worthless just middle management, administration,
- 7:22Speaker 6: HR garbage level of nothing.
- 7:24Speaker 2: All right, So that's a Sea Bass's unpopular opinion and
- 7:27Speaker 2: that that that proves it. If you have to put
- 7:29Speaker 2: it on a shirt, it's not true.
- 7:30Speaker 8: Now is just a blanket statement or do you think
- 7:33Speaker 8: there are I say.
- 7:34Speaker 6: Like again, individual teachers, great fans, that's but it's the
- 7:38Speaker 6: back padding. Look at me, I'm a hero. Garbage, especially
- 7:42Speaker 6: when it comes to administrative staff that is a lie.
- 7:44Speaker 2: And I don't I don't really believe that there are
- 7:46Speaker 2: many things in life where you could say, well, all
- 7:49Speaker 2: whatever are blank of course, so that I think, I
- 7:53Speaker 2: think we need to stop saying, well, I'm not saying
- 7:56Speaker 2: that there's not like yeah, when we say when we
- 7:59Speaker 2: say all that, it's it's more of a majority than
- 8:03Speaker 2: an all. So can we just under do we have
- 8:05Speaker 2: the understanding of this instead of having to go back
- 8:09Speaker 2: and clean up and you know, kind of like clarify that,
- 8:12Speaker 2: because I thought that was kind of an unspoken yeah right,
- 8:14Speaker 2: all right, So unpopular opinions. Jeff g collected these slips
- 8:19Speaker 2: of paper from each person here in the room. It
- 8:20Speaker 2: doesn't say I'm the piece of paper who it belongs to.
- 8:22Speaker 2: It's just the unpopular opinion, and it does belong to
- 8:25Speaker 2: somebody here on the show at our jobs to try
- 8:29Speaker 2: to guess who these belong to. So what I'll do
- 8:31Speaker 2: is I'll read them and then you can decide who
- 8:36Speaker 2: it belongs to. Just write your guests, okay, and then
- 8:39Speaker 2: and then we'll come back and we'll get the reveal,
- 8:40Speaker 2: giving people a chance to on the text send your
- 8:43Speaker 2: guess over to two two nine eighty seven.
- 8:47Speaker 3: All right.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Unpopular opinion Number one, NEPO babies get too much hate.
- 8:55Speaker 2: There's a lot of talk about NEPO babies. I just
- 8:57Speaker 2: saw something. Was it Brian Cranston's daughter or somebody?
- 9:00Speaker 3: She's on the pitch?
- 9:01Speaker 2: Yeah, so like, but and he's being asked about that,
- 9:04Speaker 2: and he's, you know, defending her on that's really just
- 9:06Speaker 2: acting as easy as the answer to that.
- 9:09Speaker 3: All right.
- 9:09Speaker 2: See, that's making more friends, all right, that's number one I.
- 9:15Speaker 2: Unpopular opinion number two. Unless it's one of your good friends,
- 9:22Speaker 2: sharing your problems with others makes you annoying? Interesting so
- 9:28Speaker 2: far the same person for both of these, all right,
- 9:31Speaker 2: Unless it's one of your good friends, sharing your problems
- 9:34Speaker 2: with others makes you annoying, all right. Unpopular opinion Number three.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Who does this belong to you? Or on the show
- 9:44Speaker 2: We should clean up after ourselves at sporting events and concerts?
- 9:49Speaker 2: That's podcast the country of Japan right now? Yeah, all right,
- 9:54Speaker 2: this is all over the place. I know, just when
- 9:57Speaker 2: I think, I know, that's definitely got to be this.
- 9:59Speaker 3: Person, and that's be a popular opinion, all right.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Unpopular opinion. Soccer is boring af I already gave mine.
- 10:10Speaker 1: What was that?
- 10:11Speaker 2: Number four?
- 10:12Speaker 3: All right?
- 10:15Speaker 2: Number five, politics aren't that important? What a hot take?
- 10:23Speaker 3: Oh so are you in the mix, Woodie? Did you
- 10:27Speaker 3: put one in? Okay?
- 10:28Speaker 2: Yeah they went there? Yeah okay girl, yeah wow, all right?
- 10:34Speaker 2: Not making some friends over here? Yeah, take it easy.
- 10:39Speaker 2: And then a lot of emails, and then number six
- 10:42Speaker 2: unpopular opinion. People shouldn't share passwords for services like Netflix.
- 10:48Speaker 2: It's stealing. Okay, all right, so again I'll just go
- 10:54Speaker 2: I'll read through these quickly. Number one, NEPO babies get
- 10:57Speaker 2: too much hate. Number two unless it's one of your
- 11:01Speaker 2: good friends, sharing your problems with others makes you annoying.
- 11:07Speaker 2: Number three, we should clean up after ourselves at sporting
- 11:11Speaker 2: events and concerts. You throw movie theaters in there too,
- 11:15Speaker 2: like people that gets crazy on the way on.
- 11:17Speaker 3: The way out.
- 11:18Speaker 2: Well, they don't have garbage cans there. Unpopular opinion. Soccer
- 11:21Speaker 2: is boring af it's number four. Number five, politics aren't
- 11:26Speaker 2: that important. And number six, people shouldn't share passwords for
- 11:31Speaker 2: services like Netflix. They put that parenthetically, it's stealing, all right?
- 11:36Speaker 1: Now?
- 11:36Speaker 2: Who are the six?
- 11:37Speaker 7: Just so I know?
- 11:38Speaker 2: So it's it's it's everybody, everybody in this immediate room. Okay, so, uh, myself, Gina,
- 11:44Speaker 2: Greg and then Greg, myself, Gina, Greg, Menace, Sammy SeaBASS.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Those are the six people, mean and Jack. Okay, you
- 11:59Speaker 2: know I not great. I gotta change one of my
- 12:01Speaker 2: guesses already. Now I have a bunch of doubles I
- 12:03Speaker 2: had down for two. Yeah, I mean, I agree, all right,
- 12:08Speaker 2: So we'll take the break and then we'll come back
- 12:11Speaker 2: and find out who these belong to. All right, Well,
- 12:18Speaker 2: let's find out who these unpopular opinions belonged to. And
- 12:24Speaker 2: let's go down the line.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Here.
- 12:27Speaker 2: Unpopular opinion number one nefo babies get too much hate?
- 12:34Speaker 2: See mass Who gets your vote on that?
- 12:35Speaker 6: I'm gonna say Menace because I feel like, I mean,
- 12:39Speaker 6: I think he could actually believe that, but also I
- 12:40Speaker 6: could see him wanting to be friends with them, So
- 12:42Speaker 6: this is a good thing to.
- 12:43Speaker 2: Put it in the world. So I asked everybody around
- 12:45Speaker 2: the room, like, you know, so Menace got actually three votes,
- 12:50Speaker 2: Greg got two votes, Sammy got one vote. Whose unpopular
- 12:55Speaker 2: opinion is this?
- 12:57Speaker 3: That is mine?
- 12:59Speaker 4: Really, My opinion completely evolved on this because I used
- 13:04Speaker 4: to think, like, what has Jack and Kelly Osborne ever done?
- 13:07Speaker 4: But who can blame them. Your dad was Ozzy, for example,
- 13:11Speaker 4: and what makes Kelly any less qualified to just chit
- 13:15Speaker 4: chat about fashion or lifestyle.
- 13:18Speaker 2: Here's the thing. I think it's for your first gig.
- 13:21Speaker 2: The NEPO part plays a big deal because that's it's
- 13:23Speaker 2: a lot of who you know. But then once you
- 13:24Speaker 2: get in there, you actually.
- 13:25Speaker 3: Have to do the job.
- 13:26Speaker 2: You have to earn it.
- 13:27Speaker 9: And I agree because it's like you're going into the
- 13:28Speaker 9: family business and we respect people who do that.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Like my father was a cobbler.
- 13:31Speaker 3: Oh that's cool, right, And then the same thing with
- 13:37Speaker 3: like the Beckhams and the will Smith kid. He's an
- 13:40Speaker 3: actual actor and okay, what they're born in exactly? Who guessed? Greg?
- 13:45Speaker 2: Who were the two people?
- 13:46Speaker 3: I guess? Greg?
- 13:47Speaker 2: All right, Sammy? And there was another there was another
- 13:51Speaker 2: Greg vote? Oh, Greg voted that was me?
- 13:53Speaker 3: That was me?
- 13:56Speaker 2: Jesus Christ, dude, all right, my paper was covered. Unpopular
- 14:00Speaker 2: opinion number two. Unless it's one of your good friends,
- 14:04Speaker 2: sharing your problems with others makes you annoying? Uh MENA
- 14:09Speaker 2: Scott three votes, I got one and Jeff g got
- 14:14Speaker 2: to vote. See bass who gets your vote? Go a
- 14:16Speaker 2: gena on this one.
- 14:17Speaker 6: Even though she's a big gossipy you know, really what
- 14:21Speaker 6: you have? You have hen nights where people come into
- 14:23Speaker 6: chit chat all night, you know, but I like to talk,
- 14:27Speaker 6: right exactly, wouldn't be talking. But I think in this case,
- 14:32Speaker 6: like she said, unless it's a good friend, she doesn't
- 14:34Speaker 6: want you. Doesn't want that kind of burdensome talk.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Okay, all right, who's unpopular opinion is this one?
- 14:41Speaker 3: It is mine?
- 14:42Speaker 2: I knew it, you know how to do it? What what?
- 14:45Speaker 6: What?
- 14:45Speaker 2: What stood out about that?
- 14:46Speaker 3: Greg? He uses the word annoying a lot.
- 14:50Speaker 2: That's mine. Yeah, that was my tell too. They're annoying, annoying,
- 14:57Speaker 2: This is annoying.
- 14:58Speaker 8: Annoying is the word. Yeah, and yeah, I hate annoying people. Yeah,
- 15:03Speaker 8: not a fan. And I just feel like you, yeah,
- 15:06Speaker 8: weak minded people in this weak ass people. They always
- 15:08Speaker 8: just want to constantly like that's their personality, sharing problems
- 15:12Speaker 8: like like for example, in the workplace, are out in
- 15:15Speaker 8: the in the public, like they're at the register and
- 15:17Speaker 8: all they're doing is listen, listening all their problems that
- 15:21Speaker 8: they have that day with the person that they're just
- 15:23Speaker 8: trying to.
- 15:23Speaker 2: Check out with.
- 15:25Speaker 8: Annoying af dude, just like share good things all right.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Uh yeah, Well three people voted for menace. It was
- 15:33Speaker 2: myself and Greg and who's the third.
- 15:35Speaker 1: Oh Sammy.
- 15:37Speaker 2: Yeah, Sammy's killing it so far. Yeah, everybody keep track
- 15:41Speaker 2: of your your score. I got one so far, Sammy
- 15:44Speaker 2: is two yep, and we're only on unpopular opinion number three.
- 15:49Speaker 2: We should clean up after ourselves at sporting events and concerts. Now,
- 15:53Speaker 2: this one was interesting because everybody, and I'm not sure
- 15:57Speaker 2: how Sea Bass you weren't in the room. And I
- 15:59Speaker 2: was like to ask everybody, who gets.
- 16:01Speaker 3: Your vote on this?
- 16:02Speaker 6: With Woody on this one, because obviously he shares a
- 16:05Speaker 6: lot of I mean, he took his leaf blower around
- 16:07Speaker 6: the neighborhood, which I support.
- 16:09Speaker 2: It's a good guess.
- 16:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:10Speaker 2: I don't like it when people trash hotel rooms leave
- 16:13Speaker 2: them dirty. I don't like when people leave the movie
- 16:15Speaker 2: theater with their popcorn and their garbage all over the place,
- 16:18Speaker 2: like just pick it up. People just had yourself. Now
- 16:22Speaker 2: everybody else voted for Jeff g.
- 16:26Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know what I was basing that.
- 16:28Speaker 8: Yes, a lot of sporting events.
- 16:31Speaker 2: I would assume who's unpopular opinion is this?
- 16:34Speaker 3: That is mine?
- 16:37Speaker 8: But to go back to see Bass's point on that,
- 16:39Speaker 8: like that's an unpopular opinion though, like.
- 16:42Speaker 6: There thinking about the card narks, there are a lot
- 16:45Speaker 6: especially with movie because like card narks, that's there's there's
- 16:48Speaker 6: direct property damage potentially involved there with the movie theaters,
- 16:51Speaker 6: and with the stadium there's they're literally.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Are there are people to pick up after you.
- 16:55Speaker 6: But like I said last week, like that doesn't mean
- 16:57Speaker 6: that I want to in the middle of whatever a
- 16:58Speaker 6: baseball game have to trape through your our bage just
- 17:00Speaker 6: because you have every opportunity to throw your own trash.
- 17:03Speaker 8: I feel like everybody would support the idea.
- 17:05Speaker 2: They just don't do it. Yeah, right, but they but
- 17:07Speaker 2: they try to rationalize it. Unpopular opinion Number four, soccer
- 17:13Speaker 2: is boring. AF soccer is boring. Af Bass. I know
- 17:19Speaker 2: it's not menace because he's a mega soccer so I
- 17:23Speaker 2: played for seven years. Uh so I'm gonna go with Sammy.
- 17:27Speaker 6: Well, actually I can now that I know some other answers,
- 17:30Speaker 6: but I'm gonna go with Sammy's my original answer.
- 17:32Speaker 2: All right, Uh well, two people voted for me, three
- 17:37Speaker 2: people voted for Gina, and then Sea Bass voted for Sammy.
- 17:40Speaker 2: Whose unpopular opinion is this? Okay, here's the thing. Yeah,
- 17:46Speaker 2: I got that one right.
- 17:46Speaker 9: Look, I love I love that people enjoy what they enjoy.
- 17:50Speaker 9: I love I love the people are excited to be
- 17:52Speaker 9: in the United States for World Cup.
- 17:54Speaker 2: I love all of that.
- 17:55Speaker 9: But the soccer game has been on. I've watched kids
- 17:58Speaker 9: soccer and my eyes just lays over it.
- 18:00Speaker 2: You're not a sports person to begin with.
- 18:02Speaker 9: But whether it's I watch basketball and baseball, I like.
- 18:05Speaker 9: But whether it's kids or professional I it's not for me.
- 18:10Speaker 9: God bless anybody who can watch it.
- 18:12Speaker 6: The list of why soccer socks is long and well
- 18:14Speaker 6: well documented. But Gina, to your point, Gina, I do
- 18:18Speaker 6: enjoy I enjoy these old World Cup highlights. But there's
- 18:20Speaker 6: about twenty seconds in every soccer game. It's exciting participation.
- 18:25Speaker 6: It's hold on, let's go, let's go to a mega
- 18:28Speaker 6: pan a soccer Jeff.
- 18:31Speaker 5: I mean it's the anticipation, right, I mean, you just
- 18:33Speaker 5: don't get right to the penetration, right.
- 18:35Speaker 2: You should work out to it. Man.
- 18:36Speaker 5: So I think that's what makes soccer so great. It's
- 18:38Speaker 5: like it's like hockey. It's the same thing, but on grass.
- 18:40Speaker 3: That's all I want to say.
- 18:42Speaker 8: Because hockey there was always complaints about soccer when it
- 18:46Speaker 8: comes to say low scoring hockey is super low scoring here, Well.
- 18:50Speaker 2: Here's here's what I'll say to that, because one of
- 18:52Speaker 2: my things about soccer that it's like the field's too big,
- 18:55Speaker 2: shrink the field down. So hockey the same idea, but
- 18:58Speaker 2: there's this way too big. It's big and so like, yeah,
- 19:02Speaker 2: compacted down. It's almost like arena football. Yes, right, Like
- 19:05Speaker 2: if you take it, take a sport that you know
- 19:07Speaker 2: usually played here and you yeah, I think that would
- 19:11Speaker 2: make it better.
- 19:11Speaker 6: To compare hockey to soccer is so disingenuous because like
- 19:14Speaker 6: like what he's saying, faster hockey, more violent, more shots.
- 19:19Speaker 2: On and he never ends in the zero zero tie.
- 19:23Speaker 5: It can end in the tie.
- 19:24Speaker 2: It can't. It doesn't can't. It doesn't shoot.
- 19:27Speaker 5: They changed the rules now it doesn't anymore.
- 19:29Speaker 8: But when did that happen, Like, because didn't they just
- 19:31Speaker 8: have a tie like in the past year.
- 19:33Speaker 2: Yeah, they go shoot out, but in soccer it's it's
- 19:36Speaker 2: very common for zero zero time.
- 19:37Speaker 5: But the only reason it's like that is what what
- 19:39Speaker 5: are you saying?
- 19:40Speaker 8: Because it's on the contensed It's fine.
- 19:42Speaker 2: Some people like soccer, some people can hate it.
- 19:44Speaker 5: Who cares I mean, it's not a mistake that it's
- 19:46Speaker 5: the most popular sport in the world.
- 19:47Speaker 2: No, it's because it's the poorest sport in the world.
- 19:49Speaker 2: That's also that's that's also probably accurate. And anyone can
- 19:52Speaker 2: do it, literally anyone.
- 19:55Speaker 6: You tape up, but taking the bubble of rags and
- 19:57Speaker 6: that's your ball and now you're a poor person playing soccer.
- 20:02Speaker 2: Because it's done. I think the I think what he's
- 20:04Speaker 2: trying to get at is it's accessibility. Yes, right, all
- 20:07Speaker 2: you need is an open space in one ball and
- 20:10Speaker 2: everybody can play. Every country doesn't participate in the biathlon
- 20:12Speaker 2: because it's expensive, yeah, or like think about like running,
- 20:15Speaker 2: you know what I mean, Like, uh, the best runners
- 20:18Speaker 2: come typically from the poorest countries because like what else
- 20:21Speaker 2: did you do? You ran everybody else? You're like small
- 20:24Speaker 2: fourn automobiles. It is they hall ass all right? Unpopular
- 20:27Speaker 2: opinion Number five. Politics aren't that important? Now, this was
- 20:32Speaker 2: kind of all over the place with the with the
- 20:34Speaker 2: votes on this one. Somebody voted for me, somebody voted
- 20:37Speaker 2: for Greg, somebody voted for Gina, somebody voted for Sammy,
- 20:39Speaker 2: somebody voted for Menace Sea Bass.
- 20:41Speaker 6: Who gets your vote? I'm double voting for Menace, double
- 20:44Speaker 6: voting for Menace. This is something he talks about even
- 20:46Speaker 6: though we've you know, yeah, but I would have voted.
- 20:48Speaker 2: You would have voted for Menace.
- 20:49Speaker 3: All right?
- 20:49Speaker 2: Who who owns this one? That one's mine? Sammy? Yeah,
- 20:54Speaker 2: I would really put yourself out there, and I know that.
- 20:58Speaker 10: I guess people in this room agree, but people outside
- 21:01Speaker 10: of this room really don't.
- 21:03Speaker 2: And I run into it all the time.
- 21:04Speaker 10: If I say that politics don't matter, it's not a
- 21:07Speaker 10: big deal, they get very upset and are like, this
- 21:10Speaker 10: is important, This.
- 21:11Speaker 3: Does affect you.
- 21:12Speaker 2: You need to pay attention to what's going on.
- 21:16Speaker 3: People.
- 21:17Speaker 8: I knew this with Sammy. Kischy feels the same way
- 21:19Speaker 8: about people that are obsessed with politics. Yeah, so freaking
- 21:23Speaker 8: the worst.
- 21:25Speaker 2: And in unpopular opinion number six, people shouldn't share passwords
- 21:29Speaker 2: for services like Netflix, it's stealing. I got two votes,
- 21:34Speaker 2: Greg got two votes, Sammy got one vote. Sea Bass.
- 21:38Speaker 2: That would be a Greg. That one was mine. And
- 21:43Speaker 2: it came up recently because yeah, I forget what we're
- 21:47Speaker 2: talking about, and the reaction that I was seeing from
- 21:49Speaker 2: people in comments and whatever. It's like almost like you're
- 21:52Speaker 2: entitled to do it, and I go, no, look, if
- 21:54Speaker 2: you're getting away with it and whatever, I enjoy it.
- 21:57Speaker 2: I'm not calling the cops on you. It's not like
- 21:59Speaker 2: one of the I don't really call the cops on
- 22:00Speaker 2: anybody for anything. But sometimes it's fun. But at the
- 22:04Speaker 2: same time, it's like, how can you sit there with
- 22:05Speaker 2: a straight face and argue that it's okay. It's not
- 22:08Speaker 2: you know, what you're doing is not okay. You may
- 22:10Speaker 2: be getting away with it, but technically it's not.
- 22:13Speaker 1: It is.
- 22:13Speaker 2: It is a form of stealing, because that is a
- 22:15Speaker 2: service that people are charging for, and you sharing your
- 22:18Speaker 2: password with eighteen people is not in the spirit of
- 22:22Speaker 2: what you're you know, people in your household. Sure, but
- 22:25Speaker 2: when it's like you know, uh, you know, you got
- 22:28Speaker 2: your your brother on this account, this other person over
- 22:30Speaker 2: lives on the other side of the country over here
- 22:32Speaker 2: on this account, like don't if you if if who
- 22:36Speaker 2: was it? Netflix? Netflix? Like tried to come down and
- 22:39Speaker 2: a lot of them have too. I go, yeah again,
- 22:41Speaker 2: and people are mad about it, Like what's to be
- 22:44Speaker 2: mad about? Like, yeah, like that's what they sell, you know, uh,
- 22:48Speaker 2: you know, you sell whatever it is widgets, you know,
- 22:51Speaker 2: and yeah, like that you're in the widget business and
- 22:54Speaker 2: you're out there to sell widgets, and people are Yeah,
- 22:57Speaker 2: people are just sharing widgets, you know, without without paying
- 23:01Speaker 2: for them. Well, that's that's it's not it's not the way.
- 23:04Speaker 2: That's not the way it works.
- 23:06Speaker 3: Like your movie theater, your movie's finished and then you
- 23:08Speaker 3: go into a different theater.
- 23:09Speaker 2: Yeah, that's not the way work. If you get away
- 23:11Speaker 2: with it again, Am I calling the cops on you?
- 23:13Speaker 1: No?
- 23:13Speaker 2: Am I gonna do it? No, But it's for those
- 23:15Speaker 2: reasons because it feels. It feels wrong to me. It
- 23:18Speaker 2: feels wrong, that's all.
- 23:20Speaker 3: And they should be executed. We get and they should
- 23:22Speaker 3: be executed.
- 23:23Speaker 2: Absolutely right. I will thank you very much, everybody appreciate
- 23:26Speaker 2: your participation. The votes were like all over on the
- 23:28Speaker 2: uh on the text.
- 23:30Speaker 3: I was so confident. I was confident.
- 23:32Speaker 2: I the way, did you count yours?
- 23:38Speaker 6: What?
- 23:39Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 23:39Speaker 3: Did you count yours?
- 23:40Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 23:41Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I guess Greg. For the politics aren't that important.
- 23:46Speaker 2: I did get Genus because she did make some comment
- 23:48Speaker 2: when the World Cup started.
- 23:50Speaker 3: I'm like, and that just I only got menacing Jeff.
- 23:53Speaker 9: I thought the politics one was yours because you do
- 23:55Speaker 9: say a lot like like it doesn't matter it's.
- 23:58Speaker 2: Not that I disagree with all the other ones, you know,
- 24:00Speaker 2: like some of them soccer boring. I agree on that one,
- 24:03Speaker 2: thank you. I'll having eyes all right. We're gonna take
- 24:05Speaker 2: a quick break cleaning up at the events. I agree
- 24:07Speaker 2: with that one too. A. We're gonna take a quick
- 24:08Speaker 2: break more what is shown next.
- 24:12Speaker 3: We'll be right back
