- 0:22back from having the most magnificent life you deserved. Sit back, relax,
- 0:28and prepare to be coached. Hi, everybody. Doctor Cali estis the Addictions
- 0:35Coach, the Addictions Academy, and the Life Coach Method. I want to
- 0:40talk to you individually today on this podcast without my co host because number want
- 0:46you sick. But number two I have a very important message for you.
- 0:50So I understand right now, we are in unprecedented times, if you will,
- 0:56right, we have the issue in the Ukraine. It's got everybody up
- 1:00that we have the issue with gas pump rising. Food is being delayed.
- 1:03You can't get the things you need. Prices are through the roof. Right.
- 1:08This is a lack mentality. Now. I understand there's a war in
- 1:11the Ukraine that's a little bit different, but what we have here in the
- 1:15United States is a lack mentality, meaning I can't get stuff. I lack
- 1:22being able to get stuff. It's called a lack mentality. I cannot access
- 1:26it, I cannot afford it. So I see these memes all over social
- 1:30media. One says, you know you're worried about the gas price, but
- 1:34you should be grateful you're not in the Ukraine. So that is a very
- 1:38convoluted way of thinking. It's saying, you're really dealing with this problem,
- 1:42but instead of dealing with it, we're going to divert you to another problem
- 1:47and say, at least you don't have that right. It's like you're sick,
- 1:52you have a cold, you don't feel good in someone going at least
- 1:55you don't have cancer. Suck it up. That's that mentality. That's a
- 2:00little odd. The second thing I see people saying is, look at the
- 2:02gas pump. It's going up. It's going up, it's going up.
- 2:06I'm gonna blame the government. I'm gonna blame the trucker convoy. I'm gonna
- 2:09blame this, I'm gonna blame that. All of that is happening when we
- 2:14are in a position where we feel pushed up against a wall, backed into
- 2:17a corner, we lash out. I want you to stop for a second
- 2:23and think, what can I do I can't control the cost of gas.
- 2:29I can't control the fact that I can't get my favorite paper towels. I
- 2:32can't control the war in the Ukraine. I have no control over any of
- 2:38these things. What I can do is create more income to pay for the
- 2:46gas pump, to maybe order the supplies online if I can find them,
- 2:51and to send money to the people in the Ukraine that would help. That's
- 2:54what you can do. Now. The backside of that is most people will
- 3:00realize, oh my goodness, all this is going on. It's negative,
- 3:02negative, negative negative. I can't do anything. They get paralyzed in times
- 3:07of crisis. So we see people with trauma in times of crisis flourish.
- 3:13Right. We see people that don't have trauma in times of crisis panic.
- 3:17What's happening is a panic mentality. I can't afford the gas book, I
- 3:23can't afford this yogurt I want. I can't afford this thing, whatever it
- 3:27is. Now, it's gonna sound strange when I tell you this. Best
- 3:34thing you can do is create a stream of income. Now that may cost
- 3:38you money. Right, You might need to create flyers cost money. You
- 3:43might need to create business cards cost money. You might need to take a
- 3:46class online cost money right. Pick Bull said scared money don't make money,
- 3:53and that is correct. So if you're sitting here saying I have thirty dollars
- 3:57in my bank account, I can't pause simply spend this thirty dollars to make
- 4:00business cards because I need this for food. Here's what I'm going to tell
- 4:05you. Every one of my six companies I have created with thirty dollars in
- 4:11my bank account up to three hundred. That's it. I didn't get a
- 4:15loan, I didn't get an investor. I didn't write a business plan.
- 4:17I didn't do any of that Shenanigan stuff you're supposed to do. I said,
- 4:21I'm going to print business cards. I'm gonna print flyers. I'm gonna
- 4:25go out and me in the mouth. I will get a climb or I'm
- 4:28going to create a LinkedIn profile which is free and market it on my Facebook.
- 4:31I will get a client. There are things you can do within the
- 4:36confines of what you have. The problem is you're sitting here saying I don't
- 4:41have anything. That's the problem. You have to think of what can I
- 4:46do right? Think of it this way? You need extra income? Is
- 4:49there a room in your house you can airbnb. Is there an additional piece
- 4:53to your house you can airb in me? Is there a mother in law
- 4:55suite? Okay? People are renting their cars out for additional income. You
- 4:59can rent RB or your boat that's just sitting there in storage for income.
- 5:03If you're a stay at home mom and you say I don't have any money
- 5:06and you're into couponing, I just saw a girl on our neighborhood watch group
- 5:13take her extreme coupon it and sell it. She went out and had all
- 5:16these products that she got for free she couponed, She watched she got free
- 5:20product, set it all up in her garage and said, come to my
- 5:24house. I'm going to sell it for less than what it's being sold for
- 5:28in the store. So right now, a gallon or five gallons or whatever
- 5:31they are, the big laundry intertion of tide that cost you twelve to fifteen
- 5:35dollars in the store, she's selling for eight. Guess what she's making eight
- 5:41dollars profit on something that cost her pennies on the dollar because she coupon.
- 5:45That's a side hustle. So she's going to walk away with money. Because
- 5:48people are gonna say, wow, why would I pay fifteen dollars for tide
- 5:53when I could pay eight? Makes sense absolutely. My sister who's not on
- 5:59today, has a friend who does donation. She says, donate me your
- 6:01baby stuff, donate it. She resells it for a profit. It's a
- 6:05side hustle. It brings her additional income. These are things you can do,
- 6:11and sometimes a side hustle becomes a main hustle. When I was in
- 6:15my early twenties, I was a certified massage therapist State of Pennsylvania, and
- 6:20I used it as a side hustle. I used it to get through college.
- 6:24I did massage for a massage company and they paid me thirty five dollars
- 6:29an hour. That was a good money for a college kid back in the
- 6:31nineties and the os so. Then I said, well, why not do
- 6:35this correctly, do it like a main hustle. And I was in Westchester,
- 6:40Pennsylvania, with no money, and I went around and I ran into
- 6:43a choir prorector who had a building and I said, this is what I
- 6:46do. I do massage. He said, well, I already have a
- 6:46massage therapist. I said, let's start a wellness center. Let's have all
- 6:50kinds of stuff, massage, yoga, reiki, acupuncture. And he looked
- 6:55at me and said, what a great idea. Why don't you rent one
- 6:57of the rooms. It's four hundred bucks. I said, I don't have
- 6:59four one hundred dollars. I have zero. But I can get those people
- 7:04to rent that and split through. And that's what I did. I found
- 7:08four other people to split that four hundred bucks a month with me. So
- 7:12I paid one hundred dollars and then I charged ninety nine dollars a massage.
- 7:15So in one month, I had to do one massage to pay my rent.
- 7:20Now I have the rest of the month as free money. And he
- 7:26had great foot traffic. So I took his little sign and stuck it outside.
- 7:29I stood outside, I handed out my business cards and every person walking
- 7:31by. We were near the courthouse in Westchester, on Gay Street in Westchester.
- 7:36So I did that on nothing zero dollars. That's a side hustle that
- 7:44became a main hustle. And then we sold the company. We actually sold
- 7:46Westchester Wellness Center and it's still there today, almost twenty years later. So
- 7:51what I'm telling you is you don't have to have a lot of money,
- 7:55but you have to have a lot of grits. You have to have a
- 8:00or a need to make that happen. And now is the time. Things
- 8:03are going up. Prices are going up. The chicken I buy my dog
- 8:09was six dollars a piece, it's now twelve. It's doubled for the same
- 8:13amount of food for my dog. Right, same amount of food for me,
- 8:18same amount of food for you. And people say, oh, just
- 8:20buy cheaper, buy cheaper, buy something cheaper. That's a weird mentality to
- 8:26me, because you have a quality of something you like, you don't want
- 8:31to buy cheaper. Right. If you're a woman and you buy makeup,
- 8:33you don't buy makeup at CDs unless you're fifteen. You don't buy makeup at
- 8:39Walmart. You buy makeup from a makeup counter and MACI, you buy land
- 8:43Come, you buy Clinique, you buy makeup, you buy Mac. Right,
- 8:46it's good for your skin, like good for your skin. It's better
- 8:50for your skin than the garbage at Walmart. But there's a reason you want
- 8:54quality, the same reason you don't go to the dollar store and buy pots
- 8:58and pants. They're going to break. It's better to spend the two hundred
- 9:03dollars on a pot and have it for two or three years, than the
- 9:07fifteen dollars on a pot and had it for a week and have to buy
- 9:11another one, and another one, and another one and another one. It'll
- 9:13cost you more in the long run. So what I'm saying to you is
- 9:18I understand what's going on. I understand you're scared. I understand you're frustrated.
- 9:26I understand your panic. And when I talk about increasing abundance and making
- 9:33money, people say, I don't have any money. I can't make money.
- 9:35That's a mentality, right, that is a thought process. And I
- 9:41posted this a couple of weeks ago on my Instagram, and I have a
- 9:45troll. I always have a troll that came on and said, well,
- 9:46how do your you say, poverty is a mindset. Poverty is a mindset.
- 9:50I've been homeless twice. I grew up in a very, very poor
- 9:54household, and I left when I was nineteen because I didn't want to be
- 10:00poor and I didn't want to follow in the footsteps of working a job right
- 10:05at high school and retail. At the best, I might be a manager
- 10:11at forty grand I didn't want that. For myself. I wanted more.
- 10:13I knew I had more to give back. I could do more, okay,
- 10:18but I didn't have any money. So I had jobs and I ended
- 10:22up homeless, and I was sleeping in my car, and at one point
- 10:26I was sleeping out in Huntington, Djene, sleeping bad. So I didn't
- 10:30have all these resources that wealthy people or rich people had to give their kids.
- 10:35I had no resources. My father was successful, but didn't share it
- 10:39with me. My mother, you know, she was same job since she
- 10:46was in high school and thirteen bucks an hour. She didn't know how to
- 10:50get out of that. Her mindset was going to work, get a paycheck,
- 10:52get a pension. Now there is no pension. You know, you're
- 10:56gonna work till you're seventy and you'll be lucky if social side curity is three
- 11:01hundred dollars. So you cannot rely on that. You cannot rely on the
- 11:05government's funds to help you, or money you paid in for thirty or forty
- 11:09fifty years. You have to think outside the box, and ninety nine percent
- 11:13of people panic and say I can't do that. Well, I'm here to
- 11:18tell you that you can think outside the box and not only that you need
- 11:22to think outside the box because if you don't, you will be in lack,
- 11:28and lack is panic. I don't have money for food. I don't
- 11:33have money for the rent. I don't have money for this, that and
- 11:35the other thing. Now, I'm not telling you to go out and get
- 11:37into an MLF. I'm not telling you that. So please don't think I
- 11:41have to run out and join this MLM and sell prep to my friends.
- 11:45That's not what I'm saying. But there are things you can learn to do
- 11:50to help yourself. One is coaching. Of course, I'm gonna plug my
- 11:54company shameless blog coming right here. You want to be a life coach,
- 11:58they make between seventy five and twenty five an hour with the certification. It's
- 12:01ic accredited. We are the Addiction's Academy. Is icf A credited. The
- 12:07Life coach method is icf A credited. If you want to be a life
- 12:09coach, you should do that. If you want to be an addictions coach
- 12:13or an interventionist, now is the time. Because addiction has gone up thirty
- 12:20to forty percent, mental health has gone up thirty to forty percent. People
- 12:24are not going to therapy anymore. They're going to coach you. Here's why.
- 12:31I've been a clinician for twenty seven years, so I have done every
- 12:35facet of therapy, CBT, NLP, DBT, all of it TC.
- 12:41I've done therapy. Therapy approaches you as if you're broken and I need to
- 12:46fix you. Coaching approaches you as if you're a whole and I need to
- 12:52make you better. Let that sit for a second, broken to be fixed
- 12:58or whole, to be the best version of yourself you can. That's why
- 13:03I do coaching. That's why I teach coaching. I teach addiction coaching.
- 13:09I teach life coaching. The new Life coach method is going to blow you
- 13:13out of the water, it really is. It's taking the principles of therapy
- 13:18and throwing them into the accountability of coaching and making it so powerful and so
- 13:22amazing that your clients get transformation fast. That's what you want. So if
- 13:28you make a small little investment in yourself, whatever that is, to become
- 13:35a coach, you could turn around and make that money back. For example,
- 13:39if you came to my Addictions Academy, it's nine hundred and ninety nine
- 13:43dollars one thousand bucks, right we do pay the plant. You come to
- 13:46us, you pay one thousand bucks. How many clients do you need to
- 13:50make that back? Well, if you charge one hundred and twenty five an
- 13:54hour, which is going right, you should have no problem getting that one
- 13:56twenty five an hour. How many sets do you need to make that back?
- 14:01Think about that for a second, right, one twenty five, two
- 14:07fifty three, seventy five, five hundred, repeat that twice. That's eight
- 14:13hours of your time helping one, two, three or four people to get
- 14:18your money back. Now you after eight hours, it's all your profit.
- 14:22So this is very simple. You can build a LinkedIn page, you can
- 14:26market on Facebook, you can do a few lives, you can grab a
- 14:30TikTok account. All of these things are free. All of it with us.
- 14:35You get a free directory listening, you get two of the largest networking
- 14:37groups on Facebook, you get a job board. All of this stuff.
- 14:41There is no reason you shouldn't have a client. So that's simple. So
- 14:46investing in yourself is something you need to do. It's something you need to
- 14:48take the time, energy and effort to do. I'm always investing in myself.
- 14:56I'm always looking at what's the next thing I need to learn. I
- 15:00just took a course on negotiating with one of the top FBI negotiators. Why.
- 15:03Because I want to be better. I want to be better at what
- 15:07I do. I want to be better at what I can offer my clients.
- 15:11If you don't want to do coaching, figure out what you can do
- 15:15to add value and increase your income. That is the key for today's podcast.
- 15:22And I'm doing a short podcast because I want you to get off with
- 15:26me and start figuring out what your side hustle is. That can be your
- 15:30main hustle. That's important side hustle, main hustle. If you hate your
- 15:35job and you hate going to work nine to five and you hate the people,
- 15:39you're in the wrong field and you're probably not making enough money. So
- 15:43creating abundance solving your problem. Stop looking at the gas pump going, oh
- 15:48my god, to fill my time get costs me an extra twenty five dollars.
- 15:50I can't handle this, Oh my god, it's awful. And figure
- 15:54out how to make that twenty five dollars. Because if you're complaining about it,
- 15:58you're in lack. If you're in action phased solution phase, you're getting
- 16:03things done. If you have questions on this what helper Guide needs, reach
- 16:07out to me. Check out the websites see if you want to grab a
- 16:11class with us. We're at one hundred seven O six oh three one eight
- 16:15Extension two. Look me up. Follow with the podcast and I will talk
