  It's
• 1:01
  around
• 1:02
  the
• 1:02
  house.
• 1:04
  When
• 1:04
  it
• 1:05
  comes
• 1:05
  to
• 1:05
  remodeling
• 1:05
  and
• 1:06
  renovating
• 1:06
  your
• 1:06
  home,
• 1:07
  there
• 1:07
  is
• 1:07
  a
• 1:08
  lot
• 1:08
  to
• 1:08
  know,
• 1:09
  but
• 1:09
  we've
• 1:09
  got
• 1:09
  you
• 1:10
  covered.
• 1:11
  This
• 1:11
  is
• 1:12
  around
• 1:12
  the
• 1:12
  house.
• 1:14
  Welcome
• 1:14
  to
• 1:14
  the
• 1:14
  Round
• 1:15
  the
• 1:15
  House
• 1:15
  show,
• 1:15
  the
• 1:15
  next
• 1:16
  generation
• 1:17
  of
• 1:17
  home
• 1:17
  improvement.
• 1:18
  I'm
• 1:18
  Eric
• 1:18
  G.
• 1:19
  For
• 1:19
  joining
• 1:20
  me
• 1:20
  today.
• 1:21
  It
• 1:21
  is
• 1:21
  the
• 1:21
  8th
• 1:22
  of
• 1:23
  January
• 1:23
  and
• 1:24
  I
• 1:24
  tell
• 1:24
  you
• 1:24
  what,
• 1:25
  it's
• 1:26
  a
• 1:26
  somber
• 1:26
  day
• 1:27
  here
• 1:27
  and
• 1:27
  around
• 1:27
  the
• 1:28
  house
• 1:28
  because
• 1:28
  I
• 1:29
  am
• 1:29
  just
• 1:29
  heartbroken
• 1:31
  for
• 1:31
  all
• 1:31
  of
• 1:32
  the
• 1:32
  people
• 1:32
  in
• 1:32
  our
• 1:33
  listening
• 1:33
  area
• 1:33
  down
• 1:33
  in
• 1:34
  Southern
• 1:34
  California
• 1:35
  that
• 1:36
  are
• 1:36
  dealing
• 1:36
  with
• 1:37
  these
• 1:37
  wildfires
• 1:38
  from
• 1:39
  this
• 1:39
  wind
• 1:39
  event.
• 1:40
  And
• 1:41
  we
• 1:41
  lost
• 1:42
  a
• 1:42
  great,
• 1:44
  you
• 1:44
  know,
• 1:44
  we
• 1:44
  have
• 1:44
  a
• 1:45
  great
• 1:45
  member
• 1:45
  of
• 1:45
  this
• 1:46
  show
• 1:46
  that
• 1:46
  is
• 1:46
  a
• 1:47
  frequent
• 1:48
  guest.
• 1:48
  We
• 1:49
  lost
• 1:49
  his
• 1:49
  house
• 1:50
  this
• 1:50
  last
• 1:51
  week.
• 1:51
  Him
• 1:51
  and
• 1:51
  his
• 1:51
  family
• 1:52
  are
• 1:52
  safe.
• 1:53
  So
• 1:53
  he
• 1:53
  lost
• 1:54
  that
• 1:54
  last
• 1:54
  night.
• 1:55
  But
• 1:55
  I've
• 1:55
  been
• 1:55
  watching
• 1:56
  the
• 1:56
  news
• 1:56
  and
• 1:56
  as
• 1:56
  of
• 1:57
  7:00
• 1:58
  this
• 1:58
  morning
• 1:59
  on
• 1:59
  the
• 1:59
  8th,
• 1:59
  which
• 2:00
  is
• 2:00
  what
• 2:00
  time
• 2:00
  I'm
• 2:01
  recording
• 2:01
  this
• 2:01
  right
• 2:02
  now,
• 2:02
  I
• 2:03
  think
• 2:03
  it's
• 2:03
  going
• 2:03
  to
• 2:03
  come
• 2:03
  out
• 2:04
  that
• 2:04
  we
• 2:04
  have
• 2:04
  basically
• 2:05
  lost
• 2:05
  houses
• 2:07
  from,
• 2:08
  you
• 2:08
  know,
• 2:08
  Malibu
• 2:09
  to
• 2:09
  Santa
• 2:10
  Monica.
• 2:12
  And
• 2:12
  that
• 2:12
  is
• 2:12
  a
• 2:13
  huge
• 2:13
  stretch
• 2:14
  of
• 2:14
  road,
• 2:14
  if
• 2:14
  you
• 2:15
  don't
• 2:15
  understand
• 2:16
  that
• 2:17
  area.
• 2:17
  Well,
• 2:18
  I
• 2:18
  do
• 2:18
  because,
• 2:19
  you
• 2:19
  know,
• 2:20
  I
• 2:20
  have
• 2:20
  been
• 2:20
  down
• 2:20
  in
• 2:20
  that
• 2:21
  area.
• 2:21
  I
• 2:21
  have
• 2:21
  visited
• 2:22
  David's
• 2:22
  house
• 2:23
  down
• 2:23
  there,
• 2:23
  his
• 2:24
  little
• 2:24
  bit
• 2:25
  of
• 2:25
  paradise.
• 2:25
  And
• 2:25
  my
• 2:26
  heart
• 2:26
  breaks
• 2:26
  for
• 2:26
  him
• 2:27
  losing
• 2:27
  everything
• 2:28
  down
• 2:28
  there.
• 2:29
  And
• 2:29
  he
• 2:29
  was
• 2:30
  in
• 2:30
  the
• 2:30
  middle
• 2:30
  of
• 2:31
  a
• 2:31
  town,
• 2:31
  he
• 2:31
  was
• 2:31
  in
• 2:32
  the
• 2:32
  middle
• 2:32
  of
• 2:32
  Pacific
• 2:33
  Palisades.
• 2:34
  And
• 2:34
  I
• 2:34
  think
• 2:35
  this
• 2:35
  event
• 2:36
  here,
• 2:36
  plus
• 2:37
  the
• 2:37
  other
• 2:37
  three
• 2:38
  fires
• 2:38
  that
• 2:39
  California
• 2:39
  is
• 2:39
  dealing
• 2:40
  with.
• 2:41
  And
• 2:41
  let's
• 2:41
  talk
• 2:41
  about
• 2:42
  wildfires.
• 2:42
  I
• 2:42
  have
• 2:43
  lived
• 2:43
  through
• 2:43
  wildfires
• 2:44
  myself.
• 2:45
  I
• 2:46
  have
• 2:46
  actually
• 2:46
  been
• 2:46
  knocked
• 2:47
  off
• 2:47
  the
• 2:47
  roof
• 2:47
  of
• 2:47
  my
• 2:48
  house
• 2:48
  from
• 2:48
  a
• 2:48
  plane
• 2:49
  dropping
• 2:49
  water
• 2:49
  in
• 2:49
  eastern
• 2:50
  Washington.
• 2:50
  So
• 2:51
  I
• 2:51
  have
• 2:52
  been
• 2:52
  in
• 2:52
  the
• 2:52
  thick
• 2:53
  of
• 2:53
  it.
• 2:54
  But
• 2:54
  I've
• 2:54
  never
• 2:55
  seen
• 2:55
  anything
• 2:56
  like
• 2:56
  this
• 2:56
  where
• 2:56
  you've
• 2:57
  got
• 2:57
  hurricane
• 2:58
  force
• 2:59
  winds
• 3:01
  and
• 3:01
  a
• 3:02
  firestorm.
• 3:03
  And
• 3:04
  this
• 3:04
  is
• 3:04
  something
• 3:05
  that
• 3:05
  that
• 3:06
  horror
• 3:06
  movies
• 3:07
  are
• 3:07
  made
• 3:07
  of
• 3:08
  and
• 3:08
  it
• 3:09
  just
• 3:09
  is
• 3:10
  absolutely
• 3:11
  crazy.
• 3:12
  Just
• 3:13
  that
• 3:13
  fire
• 3:15
  that's
• 3:15
  down
• 3:16
  in
• 3:16
  the
• 3:17
  Pacific
• 3:17
  Palisades
• 3:18
  area.
• 3:19
  If
• 3:19
  you
• 3:20
  were
• 3:20
  to
• 3:20
  drive
• 3:21
  around
• 3:22
  the
• 3:23
  evacuation
• 3:23
  perimeter
• 3:24
  right
• 3:24
  now,
• 3:25
  that's
• 3:25
  like
• 3:26
  50
• 3:26
  miles.
• 3:28
  So
• 3:28
  it
• 3:29
  is
• 3:29
  a
• 3:29
  massive
• 3:30
  deal.
• 3:30
  And
• 3:31
  this
• 3:32
  is
• 3:32
  something
• 3:32
  that
• 3:32
  I
• 3:32
  think
• 3:32
  is
• 3:33
  going
• 3:33
  to
• 3:33
  change
• 3:34
  how
• 3:34
  we
• 3:35
  do
• 3:35
  things
• 3:36
  as
• 3:36
  far
• 3:37
  as
• 3:37
  building
• 3:37
  homes
• 3:39
  in
• 3:39
  areas
• 3:40
  of
• 3:40
  wildfires.
• 3:41
  That
• 3:42
  includes
• 3:42
  my
• 3:42
  house.
• 3:43
  I
• 3:43
  live
• 3:43
  up
• 3:43
  here
• 3:43
  in
• 3:43
  the
• 3:43
  Pacific
• 3:44
  Northwest,
• 3:44
  as
• 3:44
  you
• 3:45
  know,
• 3:45
  if
• 3:45
  you're
• 3:46
  a
• 3:46
  listener.
• 3:46
  And
• 3:47
  I
• 3:47
  tell
• 3:47
  you
• 3:48
  what,
• 3:48
  this
• 3:49
  is
• 3:49
  going
• 3:49
  to
• 3:49
  change
• 3:49
  how
• 3:50
  we
• 3:50
  build
• 3:50
  homes
• 3:51
  because
• 3:52
  there
• 3:52
  are,
• 3:53
  we're
• 3:53
  going
• 3:53
  to
• 3:54
  come
• 3:54
  back
• 3:54
  and
• 3:54
  see
• 3:54
  that
• 3:55
  there's
• 3:55
  billions
• 3:56
  of
• 3:56
  dollars
• 3:57
  of
• 3:58
  damage
• 3:59
  and
• 3:59
  they're
• 3:59
  not
• 3:59
  anywhere
• 4:00
  near
• 4:00
  done
• 4:00
  with
• 4:00
  this
• 4:01
  yet.
• 4:02
  Last
• 4:02
  night
• 4:02
  they
• 4:02
  couldn't
• 4:03
  run
• 4:03
  helicopters
• 4:04
  of
• 4:04
  Course
• 4:05
  they
• 4:05
  don't
• 4:05
  run
• 4:05
  the
• 4:05
  planes
• 4:05
  at
• 4:06
  night,
• 4:06
  but
• 4:07
  it
• 4:07
  was
• 4:07
  just
• 4:08
  evacuate
• 4:10
  and
• 4:10
  try
• 4:11
  to
• 4:11
  save
• 4:11
  as
• 4:11
  many
• 4:11
  buildings
• 4:12
  as
• 4:12
  possible.
• 4:13
  But
• 4:13
  when
• 4:14
  you've
• 4:14
  got
• 4:14
  a
• 4:14
  100
• 4:15
  mile
• 4:15
  an
• 4:15
  hour
• 4:16
  wind
• 4:16
  gust,
• 4:17
  there's
• 4:17
  not
• 4:18
  much
• 4:18
  you
• 4:18
  can
• 4:18
  do
• 4:18
  with
• 4:18
  a
• 4:19
  fire
• 4:19
  hose
• 4:19
  to
• 4:19
  stop
• 4:20
  that
• 4:20
  house
• 4:20
  from
• 4:20
  burning
• 4:21
  because
• 4:21
  it's
• 4:22
  just
• 4:22
  taking,
• 4:22
  it's
• 4:23
  like
• 4:23
  a
• 4:23
  blowtorch.
• 4:23
  There's
• 4:24
  just
• 4:24
  no
• 4:24
  way
• 4:25
  to
• 4:25
  put
• 4:25
  enough
• 4:26
  people
• 4:26
  on
• 4:26
  that.
• 4:27
  So
• 4:28
  I
• 4:28
  think
• 4:28
  we
• 4:28
  are
• 4:28
  going
• 4:29
  to
• 4:29
  see
• 4:29
  some
• 4:29
  major
• 4:30
  changes
• 4:30
  coming
• 4:31
  up
• 4:31
  here
• 4:32
  over
• 4:32
  the
• 4:32
  next,
• 4:33
  you
• 4:33
  know,
• 4:33
  36
• 4:34
  months
• 4:35
  of
• 4:36
  how
• 4:36
  we
• 4:36
  build
• 4:36
  houses,
• 4:38
  how
• 4:38
  we
• 4:38
  build
• 4:38
  them.
• 4:39
  As
• 4:39
  far
• 4:39
  as
• 4:40
  making
• 4:41
  him
• 4:41
  resilient,
• 4:42
  I
• 4:42
  mean,
• 4:43
  David's
• 4:44
  house,
• 4:45
  if
• 4:45
  you
• 4:45
  were
• 4:45
  a
• 4:45
  pro
• 4:46
  football
• 4:46
  player,
• 4:46
  you
• 4:47
  could
• 4:47
  throw
• 4:48
  a
• 4:48
  football
• 4:49
  and
• 4:50
  land
• 4:50
  it
• 4:50
  in
• 4:50
  the
• 4:50
  sand.
• 4:51
  And
• 4:51
  he
• 4:52
  had
• 4:52
  miles
• 4:54
  of
• 4:54
  residential
• 4:55
  homes
• 4:55
  behind
• 4:55
  him
• 4:56
  and
• 4:57
  it
• 4:57
  didn't
• 4:57
  matter.
• 4:58
  I
• 4:59
  would
• 4:59
  have
• 4:59
  bet
• 4:59
  money
• 5:00
  and
• 5:00
  if
• 5:01
  I
• 5:01
  was
• 5:01
  a
• 5:01
  bet
• 5:01
  to
• 5:01
  talk
• 5:02
  to
• 5:02
  him
• 5:02
  right
• 5:02
  now,
• 5:02
  which
• 5:03
  I'm
• 5:03
  not
• 5:03
  going
• 5:03
  to
• 5:03
  because
• 5:04
  I
• 5:04
  just
• 5:04
  can't
• 5:05
  imagine
• 5:06
  his
• 5:06
  grief
• 5:07
  and
• 5:07
  loss
• 5:08
  and
• 5:08
  trying
• 5:09
  to
• 5:09
  figure
• 5:09
  out
• 5:09
  what's
• 5:10
  next.
• 5:11
  But
• 5:12
  to
• 5:12
  me,
• 5:12
  looking
• 5:12
  at
• 5:13
  this,
• 5:13
  I
• 5:14
  would
• 5:14
  have
• 5:14
  never
• 5:14
  guessed
• 5:15
  that
• 5:16
  he
• 5:16
  would
• 5:17
  have
• 5:17
  been
• 5:17
  in
• 5:17
  a
• 5:17
  position
• 5:20
  to
• 5:20
  be.
• 5:21
  From
• 5:21
  the
• 5:21
  way
• 5:21
  the
• 5:22
  fire
• 5:22
  came,
• 5:22
  it
• 5:22
  looked
• 5:22
  like,
• 5:23
  I
• 5:23
  mean,
• 5:23
  he
• 5:23
  had
• 5:23
  high
• 5:23
  schools,
• 5:24
  he
• 5:24
  had
• 5:25
  theaters,
• 5:25
  he
• 5:26
  had
• 5:26
  residences,
• 5:27
  he
• 5:27
  had
• 5:27
  all
• 5:27
  these
• 5:28
  things,
• 5:28
  football
• 5:29
  fields
• 5:30
  between
• 5:30
  him
• 5:30
  and
• 5:30
  the
• 5:30
  fire
• 5:31
  for
• 5:31
  miles.
• 5:33
  So
• 5:33
  it
• 5:33
  really
• 5:33
  shows
• 5:34
  you
• 5:34
  that,
• 5:35
  that
• 5:35
  no
• 5:36
  matter
• 5:37
  what
• 5:38
  mother
• 5:38
  nature
• 5:38
  wants
• 5:39
  to
• 5:39
  do,
• 5:39
  when
• 5:39
  you
• 5:39
  think
• 5:40
  you
• 5:41
  could
• 5:41
  be
• 5:41
  safe
• 5:41
  from
• 5:42
  wildfire,
• 5:42
  especially
• 5:43
  here
• 5:44
  on
• 5:44
  the
• 5:44
  west
• 5:44
  coast,
• 5:46
  you
• 5:46
  definitely
• 5:47
  are
• 5:48
  not.
• 5:48
  And
• 5:48
  you
• 5:49
  need
• 5:49
  to
• 5:49
  rethink
• 5:49
  how
• 5:50
  you
• 5:50
  do
• 5:50
  this.
• 5:50
  Now,
• 5:51
  many
• 5:51
  of
• 5:52
  the
• 5:52
  homes
• 5:52
  that
• 5:52
  you
• 5:52
  see,
• 5:53
  you
• 5:54
  know,
• 5:54
  the
• 5:54
  embers
• 5:54
  are
• 5:55
  what
• 5:55
  got
• 5:55
  it.
• 5:55
  I
• 5:55
  mean,
• 5:56
  it
• 5:56
  was
• 5:56
  just
• 5:57
  embers
• 5:58
  flying
• 5:58
  everywhere
• 5:59
  you
• 5:59
  could
• 5:59
  see
• 5:59
  it.
• 5:59
  It
• 5:59
  would
• 6:00
  catch
• 6:00
  a
• 6:00
  wood
• 6:00
  fence
• 6:00
  on
• 6:01
  fire.
• 6:01
  The
• 6:01
  wood
• 6:01
  fence
• 6:02
  would
• 6:02
  burn
• 6:02
  up
• 6:02
  to
• 6:02
  the
• 6:02
  house
• 6:03
  and
• 6:04
  so
• 6:04
  on
• 6:04
  and
• 6:04
  so
• 6:04
  forth.
• 6:04
  It
• 6:05
  would
• 6:05
  catch
• 6:05
  the
• 6:05
  bark
• 6:06
  on
• 6:06
  fire
• 6:06
  by
• 6:06
  the
• 6:06
  front
• 6:07
  or
• 6:07
  the
• 6:08
  back.
• 6:08
  It
• 6:09
  would
• 6:09
  come
• 6:09
  in
• 6:09
  through
• 6:09
  the
• 6:10
  ventilation.
• 6:11
  Now
• 6:12
  they're
• 6:12
  making
• 6:12
  vents
• 6:13
  that,
• 6:13
  that
• 6:13
  stop
• 6:14
  ember
• 6:14
  embers
• 6:14
  from
• 6:15
  coming
• 6:15
  into
• 6:15
  attic
• 6:16
  control
• 6:16
  spaces
• 6:17
  or
• 6:17
  ventilated
• 6:18
  areas.
• 6:19
  These
• 6:19
  things,
• 6:20
  I
• 6:20
  think
• 6:20
  are
• 6:20
  going
• 6:20
  to
• 6:20
  be
• 6:20
  the
• 6:20
  next
• 6:21
  generation
• 6:22
  of
• 6:22
  what
• 6:22
  you
• 6:22
  see
• 6:22
  there.
• 6:23
  If
• 6:24
  you're
• 6:24
  in
• 6:24
  California
• 6:25
  listening
• 6:25
  to
• 6:25
  this
• 6:26
  right
• 6:26
  now,
• 6:27
  my
• 6:27
  best
• 6:28
  bet,
• 6:28
  if
• 6:29
  you're
• 6:29
  in,
• 6:30
  excuse
• 6:30
  me,
• 6:31
  any
• 6:31
  of
• 6:31
  these
• 6:31
  areas,
• 6:33
  I
• 6:33
  would
• 6:33
  get
• 6:34
  out
• 6:34
  there.
• 6:34
  If
• 6:35
  you're
• 6:35
  safe,
• 6:37
  maybe
• 6:37
  it's
• 6:37
  time
• 6:38
  to
• 6:38
  block
• 6:38
  those
• 6:38
  vents
• 6:39
  up
• 6:39
  for
• 6:40
  until
• 6:41
  the
• 6:41
  fire
• 6:41
  danger
• 6:42
  is
• 6:42
  over.
• 6:42
  If
• 6:43
  you
• 6:43
  can
• 6:43
  stop
• 6:45
  the,
• 6:45
  you
• 6:45
  know,
• 6:46
  the,
• 6:46
  the
• 6:46
  embers
• 6:47
  from
• 6:47
  blowing
• 6:47
  into
• 6:47
  your
• 6:47
  attic
• 6:48
  spaces
• 6:48
  through
• 6:48
  the
• 6:49
  soffit
• 6:49
  fence,
• 6:50
  through
• 6:50
  any
• 6:50
  of
• 6:51
  the
• 6:51
  roof
• 6:51
  fence,
• 6:51
  if
• 6:51
  you
• 6:51
  can
• 6:52
  block
• 6:52
  that
• 6:52
  stuff
• 6:52
  off
• 6:53
  temporarily
• 6:53
  until
• 6:54
  the
• 6:54
  Fire
• 6:54
  danger
• 6:54
  is
• 6:55
  over.
• 6:56
  Maybe
• 6:57
  some
• 6:57
  duct
• 6:57
  tape
• 6:58
  could
• 6:58
  help
• 6:58
  you.
• 6:59
  All
• 6:59
  I'm
• 6:59
  saying,
• 7:00
  that
• 7:00
  could
• 7:01
  be
• 7:01
  something
• 7:01
  that
• 7:02
  you
• 7:02
  could
• 7:02
  do.
• 7:03
  You
• 7:03
  know,
• 7:03
  wet
• 7:03
  your
• 7:04
  yard
• 7:04
  down,
• 7:05
  make
• 7:05
  sure
• 7:05
  and
• 7:06
  drop
• 7:06
  the
• 7:06
  fence
• 7:07
  that
• 7:07
  goes
• 7:07
  up
• 7:07
  to
• 7:07
  your
• 7:07
  house,
• 7:08
  get
• 7:08
  your
• 7:08
  saws
• 7:09
  all
• 7:09
  out,
• 7:09
  get
• 7:09
  your
• 7:09
  circular,
• 7:10
  saw
• 7:10
  it,
• 7:10
  drop
• 7:11
  it
• 7:11
  down,
• 7:12
  make
• 7:12
  sure
• 7:12
  that
• 7:13
  that
• 7:13
  wood
• 7:13
  is
• 7:13
  not
• 7:13
  going
• 7:14
  up
• 7:14
  to
• 7:14
  your
• 7:14
  house.
• 7:15
  And
• 7:16
  you
• 7:16
  know,
• 7:16
  if
• 7:16
  you
• 7:16
  have
• 7:16
  to
• 7:17
  rake
• 7:17
  away
• 7:17
  any
• 7:18
  of
• 7:18
  the
• 7:18
  landscape
• 7:18
  stuff
• 7:19
  or
• 7:19
  clear
• 7:19
  anything
• 7:20
  back
• 7:20
  away
• 7:20
  from
• 7:20
  the
• 7:20
  house,
• 7:21
  do
• 7:22
  it.
• 7:22
  That's
• 7:23
  how
• 7:23
  you
• 7:23
  will
• 7:23
  save
• 7:23
  your
• 7:24
  house.
• 7:24
  On
• 7:24
  a
• 7:24
  day
• 7:24
  like
• 7:25
  today
• 7:25
  in
• 7:25
  Southern
• 7:26
  California
• 7:27
  and
• 7:28
  there
• 7:28
  have
• 7:28
  been
• 7:28
  just
• 7:29
  crazy,
• 7:30
  crazy
• 7:30
  amounts
• 7:30
  of
• 7:31
  fires
• 7:31
  and
• 7:31
  they've
• 7:32
  got
• 7:32
  more
• 7:33
  days,
• 7:33
  more
• 7:33
  of
• 7:33
  wind
• 7:34
  down
• 7:34
  there.
• 7:35
  So
• 7:35
  my
• 7:36
  heart
• 7:37
  goes
• 7:37
  out
• 7:37
  to
• 7:38
  my
• 7:38
  friends
• 7:39
  like
• 7:40
  David
• 7:40
  out
• 7:40
  there
• 7:41
  in
• 7:41
  the
• 7:42
  hundreds
• 7:43
  of
• 7:43
  thousands
• 7:43
  of
• 7:44
  other
• 7:44
  people
• 7:44
  that
• 7:44
  are
• 7:44
  affected
• 7:45
  by
• 7:45
  this
• 7:45
  down
• 7:45
  there.
• 7:46
  And
• 7:46
  it's
• 7:47
  really
• 7:47
  sad.
• 7:48
  It's
• 7:49
  something
• 7:50
  that
• 7:50
  I
• 7:50
  don't
• 7:50
  think
• 7:51
  was
• 7:51
  easily
• 7:52
  preventable.
• 7:54
  They
• 7:54
  knew
• 7:54
  this
• 7:55
  was
• 7:55
  coming.
• 7:56
  And
• 7:56
  all
• 7:56
  it
• 7:56
  takes
• 7:56
  is
• 7:57
  one
• 7:57
  little
• 7:57
  spark.
• 7:58
  And
• 7:58
  you've
• 7:59
  got
• 7:59
  too
• 7:59
  many
• 8:00
  people
• 8:01
  to
• 8:02
  fight
• 8:02
  that
• 8:03
  down
• 8:03
  there
• 8:03
  and
• 8:04
  make
• 8:04
  anything
• 8:05
  really.
• 8:05
  I
• 8:06
  mean,
• 8:06
  when
• 8:06
  you
• 8:06
  have
• 8:06
  that,
• 8:06
  that
• 8:07
  kind
• 8:07
  of
• 8:07
  win,
• 8:07
  there's
• 8:07
  really
• 8:08
  not
• 8:08
  a
• 8:08
  defense
• 8:08
  that
• 8:08
  works
• 8:09
  well
• 8:09
  for
• 8:09
  that.
• 8:10
  So
• 8:11
  anybody
• 8:11
  down
• 8:12
  there,
• 8:12
  you
• 8:12
  know,
• 8:12
  heed
• 8:13
  the
• 8:13
  warnings
• 8:13
  as
• 8:13
  far
• 8:14
  as
• 8:14
  is
• 8:15
  evacuating,
• 8:17
  we
• 8:18
  are
• 8:18
  going
• 8:18
  to
• 8:18
  really
• 8:18
  see
• 8:19
  some
• 8:19
  ramifications
• 8:20
  to
• 8:20
  buildings,
• 8:21
  how
• 8:21
  we
• 8:21
  build
• 8:22
  in
• 8:22
  the
• 8:22
  future.
• 8:22
  I
• 8:23
  think
• 8:23
  this
• 8:23
  is
• 8:23
  going
• 8:23
  to
• 8:24
  change
• 8:24
  a
• 8:24
  lot
• 8:24
  of
• 8:24
  things
• 8:25
  and
• 8:26
  I'm
• 8:27
  going
• 8:27
  to
• 8:27
  really
• 8:27
  try
• 8:27
  to
• 8:28
  help
• 8:28
  people
• 8:28
  here
• 8:28
  as
• 8:28
  best
• 8:29
  I
• 8:29
  can
• 8:29
  from
• 8:29
  what
• 8:29
  I
• 8:29
  can
• 8:30
  do
• 8:30
  up
• 8:30
  here
• 8:30
  to
• 8:31
  make
• 8:31
  sure
• 8:32
  that,
• 8:33
  you
• 8:33
  know,
• 8:33
  that
• 8:34
  I
• 8:34
  can
• 8:34
  help
• 8:34
  my
• 8:34
  friends.
• 8:35
  And
• 8:35
  if
• 8:35
  you
• 8:35
  have
• 8:36
  friends
• 8:37
  in
• 8:37
  Southern
• 8:37
  California,
• 8:38
  reach
• 8:38
  out
• 8:39
  to
• 8:39
  them,
• 8:39
  send
• 8:40
  them
• 8:40
  a
• 8:40
  quick
• 8:40
  message.
• 8:41
  We're
• 8:42
  going
• 8:42
  to
• 8:42
  have
• 8:42
  to,
• 8:43
  as
• 8:43
  a
• 8:43
  community
• 8:44
  out
• 8:44
  there,
• 8:45
  we're
• 8:45
  going
• 8:46
  to
• 8:46
  have
• 8:46
  to
• 8:46
  reach
• 8:46
  out
• 8:46
  and
• 8:46
  help
• 8:47
  these
• 8:47
  people
• 8:47
  because
• 8:48
  it
• 8:48
  is
• 8:49
  such
• 8:49
  a
• 8:49
  devastation.
• 8:50
  This
• 8:51
  is
• 8:51
  no
• 8:51
  different
• 8:53
  than
• 8:53
  what
• 8:54
  we
• 8:54
  see
• 8:54
  on
• 8:55
  the
• 8:55
  east
• 8:55
  coast
• 8:55
  with
• 8:56
  hurricanes.
• 8:57
  This
• 8:57
  is
• 8:58
  no
• 8:58
  different
• 8:59
  than,
• 8:59
  you
• 9:00
  know,
• 9:00
  big
• 9:00
  earthquakes
• 9:01
  that
• 9:01
  take
• 9:01
  cities
• 9:02
  down.
• 9:03
  This
• 9:03
  is
• 9:04
  going
• 9:04
  to
• 9:04
  be
• 9:05
  one
• 9:05
  of
• 9:05
  the
• 9:05
  wildfires
• 9:07
  of
• 9:07
  a
• 9:08
  generation
• 9:08
  or
• 9:09
  generations
• 9:10
  by
• 9:10
  the
• 9:10
  time
• 9:10
  this
• 9:11
  is
• 9:11
  over
• 9:11
  with.
• 9:12
  And
• 9:13
  we're
• 9:13
  gonna
• 9:13
  have
• 9:13
  to
• 9:14
  really
• 9:14
  rally
• 9:14
  around
• 9:15
  our
• 9:15
  friends
• 9:15
  and
• 9:16
  make
• 9:16
  sure
• 9:16
  they're
• 9:16
  okay
• 9:17
  and
• 9:18
  make
• 9:18
  sure
• 9:18
  that
• 9:18
  they
• 9:19
  land
• 9:19
  on
• 9:19
  their
• 9:19
  feet,
• 9:20
  because
• 9:20
  as
• 9:21
  we
• 9:21
  know,
• 9:21
  it
• 9:21
  takes
• 9:21
  insurance
• 9:22
  companies
• 9:22
  a
• 9:22
  long
• 9:23
  time,
• 9:23
  and
• 9:23
  especially
• 9:24
  with
• 9:24
  this
• 9:24
  mass
• 9:25
  of
• 9:26
  people
• 9:26
  out
• 9:26
  there,
• 9:27
  they're
• 9:27
  not
• 9:28
  equipped,
• 9:29
  and
• 9:29
  I'm
• 9:29
  not
• 9:29
  even
• 9:30
  sure
• 9:30
  if
• 9:30
  they're
• 9:30
  financially
• 9:31
  equipped
• 9:32
  to
• 9:32
  handle
• 9:33
  these
• 9:33
  kind
• 9:34
  of
• 9:34
  losses.
• 9:35
  So
• 9:36
  it's
• 9:36
  something
• 9:36
  that
• 9:37
  is
• 9:37
  going
• 9:37
  to
• 9:37
  take
• 9:37
  time.
• 9:38
  It
• 9:38
  is
• 9:38
  something
• 9:39
  that
• 9:39
  is
• 9:39
  going
• 9:39
  to
• 9:40
  take
• 9:41
  many
• 9:41
  years
• 9:41
  to
• 9:42
  put
• 9:42
  back.
• 9:43
  I
• 9:43
  bet
• 9:43
  you
• 9:44
  right
• 9:44
  now,
• 9:45
  three
• 9:45
  or
• 9:45
  four
• 9:45
  years
• 9:45
  from
• 9:46
  now
• 9:46
  there
• 9:47
  will
• 9:47
  still
• 9:47
  be
• 9:47
  people
• 9:48
  trying
• 9:48
  to
• 9:48
  get
• 9:49
  things
• 9:49
  built
• 9:50
  back
• 9:50
  because
• 9:50
  we
• 9:50
  have
• 9:50
  communities
• 9:51
  gone.
• 9:53
  So
• 9:53
  let's
• 9:53
  rally
• 9:53
  around
• 9:54
  those
• 9:54
  friends.
• 9:54
  Let's
• 9:54
  see
• 9:54
  what
• 9:55
  we
• 9:55
  can
• 9:55
  do
• 9:55
  to
• 9:55
  help
• 9:55
  them.
• 9:56
  This
• 9:56
  is
• 9:56
  a
• 9:57
  massive,
• 9:58
  massive
• 9:58
  issue.
• 9:59
  And
• 9:59
  if
• 9:59
  you're
• 9:59
  just
• 10:00
  watching
• 10:00
  on
• 10:00
  the
• 10:00
  news
• 10:00
  across
• 10:01
  the
• 10:01
  country,
• 10:01
  I
• 10:01
  stayed
• 10:02
  up
• 10:02
  late
• 10:02
  last
• 10:02
  night.
• 10:03
  If
• 10:03
  you
• 10:03
  want
• 10:03
  to
• 10:04
  see
• 10:04
  what
• 10:04
  I'm
• 10:04
  talking
• 10:04
  about
• 10:05
  on
• 10:05
  January
• 10:06
  8,
• 10:07
  a
• 10:08
  great
• 10:08
  free
• 10:08
  way
• 10:08
  to
• 10:08
  do
• 10:08
  it
• 10:09
  is
• 10:09
  take
• 10:09
  a
• 10:09
  look
• 10:09
  at
• 10:09
  Pluto
• 10:10
  Television.
• 10:12
  Just
• 10:13
  like
• 10:13
  the
• 10:13
  planet.
• 10:14
  Take
• 10:14
  a
• 10:14
  look
• 10:15
  at
• 10:15
  that.
• 10:15
  Go
• 10:15
  to
• 10:15
  KCAL
• 10:17
  on
• 10:17
  there.
• 10:17
  You
• 10:18
  can
• 10:18
  watch
• 10:18
  it
• 10:18
  for
• 10:18
  free.
• 10:19
  You
• 10:19
  can
• 10:19
  get
• 10:19
  an
• 10:20
  idea
• 10:20
  what
• 10:20
  I'm
• 10:20
  talking
• 10:20
  about.
• 10:21
  And
• 10:21
  I
• 10:22
  tell
• 10:22
  you
• 10:22
  what,
• 10:23
  boy,
• 10:23
  I
• 10:24
  feel
• 10:24
  bad
• 10:24
  for
• 10:24
  all
• 10:24
  the
• 10:24
  people
• 10:25
  out
• 10:25
  there.
• 10:25
  The
• 10:25
  lives
• 10:25
  lost,
• 10:26
  the
• 10:27
  people
• 10:27
  that
• 10:27
  were
• 10:27
  hurt,
• 10:27
  there
• 10:28
  were
• 10:28
  lots
• 10:28
  of
• 10:28
  injuries.
• 10:28
  Last
• 10:29
  night
• 10:29
  I
• 10:29
  was
• 10:30
  watching
• 10:30
  a
• 10:30
  fire
• 10:30
  pop
• 10:31
  up
• 10:31
  that
• 10:31
  was
• 10:31
  20
• 10:32
  acres
• 10:33
  and
• 10:33
  within
• 10:34
  an
• 10:34
  hour
• 10:34
  they
• 10:35
  had
• 10:35
  people
• 10:35
  in
• 10:35
  an
• 10:35
  old
• 10:35
  folks
• 10:36
  home
• 10:36
  out
• 10:37
  in
• 10:37
  a
• 10:37
  711
• 10:38
  parking
• 10:38
  lot
• 10:39
  with
• 10:39
  hospital
• 10:40
  beds
• 10:40
  in
• 10:40
  the
• 10:41
  parking
• 10:41
  lot
• 10:41
  with
• 10:41
  flames
• 10:42
  lapping
• 10:43
  at
• 10:43
  them,
• 10:44
  trying
• 10:44
  to
• 10:44
  get
• 10:44
  them
• 10:44
  into
• 10:45
  anything
• 10:46
  that
• 10:46
  could
• 10:46
  drive
• 10:46
  them
• 10:47
  away
• 10:47
  from
• 10:47
  the
• 10:47
  fire.
• 10:48
  So
• 10:49
  really
• 10:49
  emotional
• 10:49
  guys,
• 10:50
  really
• 10:50
  big
• 10:51
  deal.
• 10:51
  This
• 10:52
  is
• 10:52
  going
• 10:52
  to
• 10:52
  be
• 10:52
  something
• 10:52
  that
• 10:53
  changes
• 10:53
  building
• 10:54
  moving
• 10:55
  forward.
• 10:55
  Now
• 10:56
  today
• 10:56
  I
• 10:56
  was
• 10:56
  gonna
• 10:57
  be
• 10:57
  talking
• 10:57
  about
• 10:58
  all
• 10:58
  the
• 10:58
  things
• 10:59
  at
• 10:59
  the
• 10:59
  Consumer
• 10:59
  Electronics
• 11:00
  show
• 11:01
  and
• 11:01
  quite
• 11:02
  frankly,
• 11:02
  I'm
• 11:02
  gonna
• 11:02
  push
• 11:03
  that
• 11:03
  to
• 11:03
  next
• 11:03
  week.
• 11:04
  This
• 11:04
  is
• 11:04
  not
• 11:04
  something
• 11:05
  I
• 11:06
  just,
• 11:06
  I'm
• 11:06
  not
• 11:07
  wanting
• 11:07
  to
• 11:07
  talk
• 11:08
  about
• 11:08
  new
• 11:08
  products
• 11:08
  today.
• 11:09
  It
• 11:09
  just
• 11:09
  doesn't
• 11:09
  feel
• 11:09
  right.
• 11:10
  We
• 11:10
  can
• 11:11
  talk
• 11:11
  about
• 11:11
  that
• 11:11
  next
• 11:11
  week.
• 11:12
  They're
• 11:12
  not
• 11:12
  going
• 11:12
  anywhere.
• 11:13
  We'll
• 11:13
  talk
• 11:14
  about
• 11:14
  that
• 11:14
  in
• 11:14
  next
• 11:14
  week's
• 11:15
  midweek
• 11:15
  special.
• 11:16
  One
• 11:17
  thing
• 11:17
  I
• 11:17
  did
• 11:17
  see
• 11:17
  yesterday
• 11:18
  before
• 11:19
  all
• 11:19
  of
• 11:20
  this
• 11:20
  fire
• 11:20
  stuff
• 11:21
  came
• 11:21
  out,
• 11:21
  I
• 11:21
  just
• 11:22
  want
• 11:22
  to
• 11:22
  give
• 11:22
  you
• 11:22
  a
• 11:22
  quick
• 11:22
  update
• 11:23
  on
• 11:23
  this
• 11:23
  because
• 11:23
  it's
• 11:23
  just
• 11:23
  a
• 11:24
  small
• 11:24
  one,
• 11:25
  but
• 11:26
  I
• 11:26
  saw
• 11:28
  President
• 11:28
  elect
• 11:28
  Trump
• 11:29
  give
• 11:30
  a
• 11:30
  press
• 11:30
  conference
• 11:31
  and
• 11:32
  we
• 11:32
  are
• 11:32
  not
• 11:33
  talking
• 11:33
  politics
• 11:33
  here
• 11:34
  today.
• 11:34
  But
• 11:35
  I
• 11:35
  just
• 11:35
  want
• 11:35
  to
• 11:35
  talk
• 11:36
  about
• 11:36
  what
• 11:36
  I
• 11:36
  heard
• 11:37
  him
• 11:37
  talk
• 11:37
  about
• 11:38
  which
• 11:38
  gives
• 11:38
  us
• 11:39
  an
• 11:39
  idea
• 11:39
  of
• 11:39
  what
• 11:39
  we're
• 11:39
  going
• 11:39
  to
• 11:39
  see
• 11:40
  moving
• 11:40
  forward.
• 11:41
  You
• 11:42
  know,
• 11:42
  I
• 11:42
  talk
• 11:42
  about,
• 11:43
  heck,
• 11:44
  I
• 11:44
  talk
• 11:44
  about
• 11:44
  it
• 11:44
  in
• 11:45
  this
• 11:45
  weekend
• 11:45
  show.
• 11:46
  We
• 11:47
  are
• 11:47
  going
• 11:47
  to
• 11:47
  see
• 11:47
  those
• 11:48
  water
• 11:49
  and
• 11:49
  energy
• 11:49
  standards
• 11:50
  get
• 11:51
  dialed
• 11:51
  back.
• 11:53
  We
• 11:53
  were
• 11:53
  on
• 11:54
  track
• 11:54
  this
• 11:54
  year
• 11:54
  to
• 11:54
  be
• 11:55
  the
• 11:55
  death
• 11:55
  of
• 11:55
  the
• 11:55
  top
• 11:56
  load
• 11:56
  washing
• 11:56
  machine.
• 11:58
  The
• 11:58
  good
• 11:58
  news
• 11:58
  for
• 11:58
  you
• 11:59
  top
• 11:59
  load
• 11:59
  washing
• 11:59
  machine
• 12:00
  fans
• 12:00
  is
• 12:00
  the
• 12:01
  government
• 12:01
  is
• 12:01
  going
• 12:01
  to
• 12:01
  give
• 12:02
  you
• 12:02
  a
• 12:02
  stay
• 12:03
  on
• 12:04
  losing
• 12:04
  those
• 12:06
  in
• 12:06
  the
• 12:06
  new
• 12:06
  policies
• 12:07
  coming
• 12:07
  forward.
• 12:07
  So
• 12:08
  I
• 12:08
  see
• 12:09
  federal,
• 12:10
  now
• 12:10
  this
• 12:11
  is
• 12:11
  a
• 12:11
  big
• 12:11
  deal.
• 12:12
  Federal
• 12:12
  water
• 12:13
  standards
• 12:13
  for
• 12:14
  faucets
• 12:14
  or
• 12:15
  dishwashers,
• 12:16
  for
• 12:16
  appliances,
• 12:18
  for,
• 12:19
  you
• 12:20
  know,
• 12:20
  toilets,
• 12:20
  things
• 12:21
  like
• 12:21
  that.
• 12:21
  I
• 12:21
  see
• 12:22
  that
• 12:22
  changing.
• 12:23
  I
• 12:23
  see
• 12:23
  that
• 12:23
  getting
• 12:24
  dialed
• 12:24
  back.
• 12:26
  Now
• 12:26
  it
• 12:26
  doesn't
• 12:26
  mean
• 12:27
  that
• 12:27
  your
• 12:27
  local
• 12:27
  state
• 12:28
  or
• 12:29
  local
• 12:29
  governments
• 12:30
  won't
• 12:31
  change
• 12:31
  something
• 12:31
  for
• 12:31
  you.
• 12:33
  But
• 12:34
  federally,
• 12:34
  I
• 12:34
  think
• 12:35
  we're
• 12:35
  going
• 12:35
  to
• 12:35
  see
• 12:36
  those
• 12:36
  things
• 12:36
  change
• 12:37
  back.
• 12:38
  So
• 12:38
  I
• 12:38
  think
• 12:40
  now
• 12:40
  it's
• 12:40
  going
• 12:40
  to
• 12:40
  be
• 12:40
  up
• 12:41
  to
• 12:41
  the
• 12:41
  people
• 12:41
  if
• 12:41
  they
• 12:41
  want
• 12:42
  to
• 12:42
  have
• 12:42
  a
• 12:42
  little
• 12:42
  more
• 12:42
  water
• 12:43
  coming
• 12:43
  out
• 12:43
  of
• 12:43
  their
• 12:43
  shower
• 12:43
  head
• 12:44
  and
• 12:44
  you're
• 12:44
  not
• 12:44
  in
• 12:44
  some
• 12:45
  drought
• 12:45
  area
• 12:46
  like
• 12:46
  California
• 12:47
  where
• 12:47
  it's
• 12:47
  a
• 12:47
  big
• 12:47
  issue.
• 12:49
  This
• 12:49
  is
• 12:49
  one
• 12:50
  of
• 12:50
  those
• 12:50
  things
• 12:50
  that
• 12:51
  I
• 12:51
  think
• 12:51
  there's
• 12:51
  gonna
• 12:52
  be
• 12:52
  some
• 12:52
  reprieve
• 12:52
  on
• 12:53
  that.
• 12:54
  Stay
• 12:54
  tuned.
• 12:55
  Just
• 12:55
  like
• 12:55
  any
• 12:56
  politician,
• 12:57
  what's
• 12:57
  made
• 12:57
  his
• 12:57
  promises
• 12:58
  before
• 12:58
  versus
• 12:59
  what
• 12:59
  happens
• 12:59
  later
• 13:01
  can
• 13:01
  be
• 13:01
  iffy.
• 13:03
  But
• 13:03
  knowing
• 13:04
  President
• 13:04
  Trump
• 13:05
  in
• 13:05
  his
• 13:05
  track
• 13:06
  record,
• 13:06
  when
• 13:07
  he
• 13:07
  says
• 13:07
  he's
• 13:07
  gonna
• 13:08
  fix
• 13:08
  it,
• 13:09
  got
• 13:09
  a
• 13:09
  hunch
• 13:10
  that's
• 13:10
  gonna
• 13:11
  get
• 13:11
  fixed
• 13:11
  from
• 13:11
  his
• 13:12
  eyes.
• 13:12
  Whether
• 13:12
  you
• 13:12
  agree
• 13:13
  with
• 13:13
  it
• 13:13
  or
• 13:13
  not,
• 13:14
  I
• 13:14
  don't
• 13:14
  like
• 13:14
  the
• 13:14
  government
• 13:14
  getting
• 13:15
  into
• 13:15
  my
• 13:15
  stuff
• 13:15
  that
• 13:15
  I
• 13:15
  can
• 13:15
  put
• 13:16
  on
• 13:16
  my
• 13:16
  house.
• 13:17
  So
• 13:17
  I
• 13:17
  get
• 13:17
  that.
• 13:18
  I
• 13:19
  think
• 13:19
  you're
• 13:19
  going
• 13:19
  to
• 13:19
  see
• 13:20
  the,
• 13:20
  the
• 13:21
  push
• 13:21
  away
• 13:22
  from.
• 13:22
  I
• 13:22
  mean,
• 13:23
  literally
• 13:23
  this
• 13:24
  last
• 13:24
  week
• 13:25
  we
• 13:25
  had
• 13:26
  the
• 13:26
  federal
• 13:26
  government
• 13:26
  come
• 13:27
  in
• 13:27
  and
• 13:27
  say
• 13:28
  that
• 13:28
  they
• 13:28
  were
• 13:28
  going
• 13:28
  to
• 13:29
  discontinue
• 13:30
  a
• 13:30
  majority
• 13:32
  of
• 13:32
  the
• 13:33
  on
• 13:33
  demand
• 13:35
  tankless
• 13:36
  water
• 13:36
  heaters
• 13:37
  unless
• 13:37
  you
• 13:37
  went
• 13:38
  to
• 13:38
  the
• 13:38
  super
• 13:38
  efficient
• 13:39
  ones.
• 13:39
  Those
• 13:40
  were
• 13:40
  going
• 13:40
  to
• 13:40
  get
• 13:40
  taken
• 13:41
  off
• 13:41
  the
• 13:41
  books.
• 13:42
  They
• 13:42
  were
• 13:42
  going
• 13:42
  to
• 13:42
  get
• 13:42
  banned
• 13:43
  coming
• 13:44
  up
• 13:44
  in
• 13:44
  the
• 13:44
  next
• 13:45
  year.
• 13:46
  They
• 13:46
  were
• 13:46
  gonna
• 13:46
  go
• 13:47
  away.
• 13:48
  So
• 13:48
  I
• 13:48
  think
• 13:49
  in
• 13:49
  a
• 13:49
  couple
• 13:50
  weeks
• 13:50
  you're
• 13:51
  gonna
• 13:51
  see
• 13:51
  those
• 13:51
  things
• 13:52
  get
• 13:52
  quickly
• 13:53
  changed.
• 13:54
  And
• 13:54
  I
• 13:54
  think
• 13:54
  that
• 13:55
  natural
• 13:56
  gas
• 13:56
  appliances
• 13:57
  and
• 13:57
  some
• 13:57
  of
• 13:57
  that
• 13:58
  stuff
• 13:58
  on
• 13:58
  a
• 13:58
  federal
• 13:59
  level
• 14:00
  is
• 14:00
  gonna
• 14:00
  be
• 14:00
  different
• 14:01
  now.
• 14:01
  We'll
• 14:01
  see
• 14:02
  what
• 14:02
  happens
• 14:02
  on
• 14:02
  the
• 14:02
  local
• 14:03
  level.
• 14:03
  I
• 14:03
  think
• 14:04
  still
• 14:04
  in,
• 14:05
  in,
• 14:05
  you
• 14:06
  know,
• 14:06
  in,
• 14:06
  in
• 14:06
  Washington
• 14:07
  state,
• 14:07
  you're
• 14:07
  still
• 14:07
  gonna
• 14:08
  see
• 14:08
  lawsuits
• 14:08
  there.
• 14:09
  They're
• 14:09
  gonna
• 14:09
  be
• 14:10
  going
• 14:10
  where
• 14:10
  they,
• 14:11
  the,
• 14:12
  basically
• 14:13
  the
• 14:13
  state
• 14:13
  of
• 14:13
  Washington
• 14:14
  will
• 14:14
  be
• 14:14
  suing
• 14:14
  the
• 14:14
  people
• 14:15
  of
• 14:15
  that
• 14:16
  voted
• 14:16
  them
• 14:16
  in
• 14:17
  for
• 14:18
  trying
• 14:18
  to
• 14:19
  save
• 14:20
  their
• 14:20
  gas
• 14:21
  appliances.
• 14:21
  But
• 14:22
  we'll
• 14:22
  see
• 14:22
  what
• 14:22
  happens
• 14:23
  when
• 14:23
  it,
• 14:23
  when
• 14:23
  it
• 14:23
  changes
• 14:24
  federally.
• 14:25
  And
• 14:26
  I
• 14:26
  think
• 14:26
  that's
• 14:26
  going
• 14:27
  to
• 14:27
  be
• 14:27
  a
• 14:27
  little
• 14:27
  bit
• 14:27
  of
• 14:27
  a
• 14:28
  window
• 14:28
  change
• 14:28
  there.
• 14:28
  We'll
• 14:28
  see
• 14:29
  what
• 14:29
  happens.
• 14:29
  So
• 14:30
  stay
• 14:30
  tuned
• 14:31
  for
• 14:31
  that.
• 14:32
  I
• 14:32
  think
• 14:32
  that's
• 14:32
  a
• 14:32
  battle
• 14:33
  that
• 14:33
  is
• 14:33
  just
• 14:33
  starting
• 14:34
  and
• 14:34
  it's
• 14:35
  going
• 14:35
  to
• 14:35
  affect,
• 14:35
  of
• 14:36
  course,
• 14:36
  appliances,
• 14:37
  heating
• 14:38
  and
• 14:38
  cooling,
• 14:39
  heating
• 14:40
  water,
• 14:40
  that
• 14:40
  kind
• 14:41
  of
• 14:41
  stuff
• 14:41
  moving
• 14:41
  forward.
• 14:42
  All
• 14:42
  right,
• 14:42
  guys,
• 14:43
  I
• 14:43
  gotta
• 14:43
  get
• 14:43
  back
• 14:43
  to
• 14:44
  it
• 14:44
  here.
• 14:44
  I've
• 14:45
  got
• 14:45
  a
• 14:45
  lot
• 14:45
  on
• 14:45
  my
• 14:45
  plate
• 14:46
  today
• 14:46
  and
• 14:46
  this
• 14:46
  is
• 14:47
  already
• 14:47
  running
• 14:47
  long
• 14:47
  for
• 14:48
  a
• 14:48
  midweek
• 14:48
  special.
• 14:48
  But
• 14:49
  I
• 14:49
  just
• 14:49
  wanted
• 14:50
  to
• 14:50
  give
• 14:50
  you
• 14:50
  an
• 14:50
  update.
• 14:50
  What
• 14:51
  I'm
• 14:51
  seeing
• 14:51
  on
• 14:51
  this
• 14:52
  Pacific
• 14:53
  Palisades
• 14:54
  fire
• 14:54
  and
• 14:54
  as
• 14:54
  well
• 14:54
  as
• 14:55
  the
• 14:55
  three
• 14:55
  other,
• 14:56
  at
• 14:56
  least
• 14:57
  three
• 14:57
  other
• 14:57
  fires
• 14:57
  that
• 14:57
  are
• 14:58
  going
• 14:58
  on.
• 14:59
  You
• 14:59
  know,
• 14:59
  there's
• 14:59
  a
• 14:59
  lot
• 15:00
  of
• 15:00
  people
• 15:00
  right
• 15:00
  now
• 15:01
  that
• 15:01
  are
• 15:01
  in
• 15:01
  evacuations
• 15:02
  and
• 15:03
  I
• 15:03
  think
• 15:03
  it's
• 15:03
  just
• 15:03
  going
• 15:04
  to
• 15:04
  get
• 15:04
  worse
• 15:04
  today
• 15:05
  on
• 15:05
  January
• 15:06
  8th
• 15:06
  at
• 15:07
  a
• 15:07
  little
• 15:08
  after
• 15:08
  7:15
• 15:08
  this
• 15:09
  morning.
• 15:09
  All
• 15:09
  right,
• 15:10
  guys,
• 15:10
  have
• 15:11
  a
• 15:11
  great
• 15:11
  rest
• 15:12
  of
• 15:12
  the
• 15:12
  week
• 15:12
  here.
• 15:13
  Give
• 15:14
  some
• 15:14
  love
• 15:14
  to
• 15:14
  our
• 15:15
  friends
• 15:15
  in
• 15:15
  California.
• 15:16
  I
• 15:16
  know
• 15:17
  a
• 15:17
  lot
• 15:17
  of
• 15:17
  us
• 15:18
  make
• 15:18
  fun
• 15:18
  of
• 15:18
  our
• 15:18
  California
• 15:19
  friends
• 15:19
  down
• 15:19
  there.
• 15:20
  They're
• 15:20
  all
• 15:20
  Americans.
• 15:21
  They're
• 15:21
  all
• 15:21
  part
• 15:21
  of
• 15:21
  our
• 15:22
  country.
• 15:23
  And
• 15:24
  even
• 15:24
  though
• 15:24
  we
• 15:24
  make
• 15:25
  fun
• 15:25
  of
• 15:25
  California
• 15:25
  at
• 15:26
  times,
• 15:26
  we
• 15:27
  need
• 15:27
  to
• 15:27
  put
• 15:27
  our
• 15:27
  arms
• 15:28
  around
• 15:28
  those
• 15:28
  friends
• 15:28
  and
• 15:28
  family
• 15:29
  members
• 15:29
  down
• 15:29
  there
• 15:29
  and
• 15:29
  make
• 15:30
  sure
• 15:30
  that
• 15:30
  they're
• 15:30
  getting
• 15:30
  taken
• 15:30
  care
• 15:31
  of.
• 15:31
  Because
• 15:32
  like
• 15:33
  any
• 15:33
  natural
• 15:33
  disaster,
• 15:35
  it
• 15:35
  takes
• 15:35
  a
• 15:36
  long
• 15:36
  time
• 15:36
  for
• 15:36
  help
• 15:36
  to
• 15:37
  come.
• 15:37
  And
• 15:38
  it's
• 15:39
  going
• 15:39
  to
• 15:39
  be
• 15:39
  up
• 15:39
  to
• 15:39
  us,
• 15:40
  our
• 15:40
  friends
• 15:41
  and
• 15:41
  neighbors,
• 15:41
  to
• 15:42
  make
• 15:42
  sure
• 15:42
  that
• 15:43
  they
• 15:43
  get
• 15:43
  the
• 15:43
  help
• 15:44
  that
• 15:44
  they
• 15:44
  need
• 15:45
  to
• 15:45
  be
• 15:46
  sustaining.
• 15:46
  And
• 15:46
  we'll
• 15:47
  see
• 15:47
  what
• 15:47
  happens.
• 15:48
  All
• 15:48
  right,
• 15:49
  everybody,
• 15:49
  have
• 15:49
  a
• 15:50
  great
• 15:50
  rest
• 15:50
  of
• 15:50
  the
• 15:50
  week.
• 15:51
  Stay
• 15:51
  safe
• 15:51
  out
• 15:51
  there.
• 15:52
  Thoughts
• 15:53
  and
• 15:53
  prayers
• 15:53
  go
• 15:53
  out
• 15:53
  to
• 15:53
  our
• 15:54
  friends
• 15:54
  in
• 15:54
  Southern
• 15:54
  California
• 15:55
  and
• 15:56
  anyone
• 15:56
  else
• 15:56
  out
• 15:56
  there
• 15:57
  dealing
• 15:57
  with
• 15:57
  these
• 15:58
  kind
• 15:58
  of
• 15:58
  tragedies
• 15:58
  this
• 15:59
  week.
• 15:59
  I'm
• 15:59
  Eric
• 15:59
  G.
• 16:00
  Thanks
• 16:00
  for
• 16:00
  tuning
• 16:01
  into
• 16:01
  around
• 16:01
  the
• 16:01
  House.
• 16:12
  Somewhere
• 16:14
  unseen
• 16:15
  and
• 16:16
  undiscovered
• 16:19
  Anywhere
• 16:20
  beyond.
• 16:21
  For
• 16:21
  me,
• 16:22
  love
• 16:22
  is
• 16:22
  a
• 16:23
  love
• 16:23
  song
• 16:23
  let's
• 16:24
  be
• 16:24
  lovers
• 16:25
  we're
• 16:26
  all
• 16:26
  over
• 16:26
  the
• 16:27
  radio
• 16:28
  Take
• 16:29
  my
• 16:29

• 16:30
  out
• 16:30
  Nowhere
• 16:31
  to
• 16:31
  go
• 16:32
  all
• 16:33
