- 2:25I don't know. I want to, I don't want to scare
- 2:27anybody off about Bermuda, but beware of the Bermuda Triangle.
- 2:32And that's what I was in, stuck in the Bermuda Triangle.

- 2:40long week for myself. Go to a website at

- 2:58worldwidesportsradio.com. And I want to say something that
- 3:04yes, there you are. And don't worry, Kevin, I will
- 3:06tell you guys some of the crazy stuff that happened me happened
- 3:10to me at Bermuda. You know, it's crazy when you go
- 3:13on a cruise, you, you think, hey, you know what, you're going
- 3:16to see a lot of different things.
- 3:17You're going to go to a lot of different game shows and you're
- 3:20going to hang out with your girl and just enjoy yourself.
- 3:23Well, ladies and gentlemen, I didn't do any of those because
- 3:27Brittany fell asleep at 11:00 at night.
- 3:30She couldn't keep her eyes open. And I had a chance to hang out
- 3:33with Brittany's hairdresser, who's become close with me,
- 3:36Elena and her husband John. John's an amazing guy.
- 3:40He really is a great, great person.
- 3:42And he went to sleep early, too. As soon as we ate dinner, it
- 3:45didn't matter if it was a steak dinner, sushi, or whatever the
- 3:48hell they were eating, that guy was out like a light bulb.
- 3:51But me, I hung out. I went out to the clubs, I
- 3:55danced the night away and got to meet a bunch of kids.
- 3:57Now let me ask you guys a question.
- 3:59If you ever gone to a club, could you imagine, could you
- 4:03imagine 1514 year olds being allowed to dance with a bunch of
- 4:08people drinking and partying at a club?
- 4:11Well, ladies and gentlemen, if you go on Norwegian the getaway,
- 4:15they'll allow people kids to actually go party with the grand
- 4:19grown-ups. It didn't matter how old they
- 4:21were. And then I actually met somebody
- 4:23that really was 24 years old, but look like he looked like a
- 4:2714 year old. And everybody they actually
- 4:29called security to tell him and security came down and looked at
- 4:33his ID. He was actually 24 years old.
- 4:35I was shocked. So that was the crazy, you know,
- 4:39crazy party part of my Bermuda. Tribe, could they just like,
- 4:44could they just come in and like dance or they could do whatever
- 4:47they want? Some of them were drinking wine.
- 4:49I mean, their parents were buying them drinks and I saw
- 4:53some, some of these kids actually at the bar and I, I,
- 4:57I'm, I don't know if they were 1415 years old, but they had to
- 5:00be under underage 1718 at best. And they were drinking wine.
- 5:05They were drinking beers. And I'm sitting there and I'm
- 5:07like, how do their parents actually like these kids
- 5:11actually going out drinking and then doing crazy things the
- 5:14whole night. I was up till like one or two O
- 5:17clock in in the morning and these kids are roaming all the
- 5:21different floors trying to figure out about how they can,
- 5:24you know, piss people off. Some of them were beating
- 5:27people's, you know, doors in and hitting their doors and knocking
- 5:30on their doors and waking people up.
- 5:32One of my almost choke slammed, I grabbed, I wanted to grab him
- 5:35by his neck, but you know, I didn't do that.
- 5:38So I want to say I'm abusive, but I wanted to.
- 5:41All right. But I'll tell you guys a quick
- 5:43story before we get to the show. I don't want to scare you.
- 5:45And I'll have a lot of stories. I'll tell you some stories on
- 5:47Thursday. I'll tell you some stories next
- 5:49week as well. We got to Bermuda OK, so I'm
- 5:53hanging out, I'm getting ready. Elena and her husband John, they
- 5:57went out for breakfast. Downstairs to the breakfast or
- 5:59upstairs to floor 15, eat breakfast.
- 6:02After that, they knocked on our door.
- 6:04We weren't up yet. We get up at 7:00 in the
- 6:06morning. They're done with breakfast and
- 6:08we told them to wait for us. Brittany takes forever to get
- 6:11ready. You know how women are.
- 6:12They're just absolutely impossible.
- 6:14But she gets ready and we we run up for breakfast.
- 6:18We get down for breakfast and they knock on our door again and
- 6:20they say, listen, we're not dealing with this.
- 6:22We're going to, we'll go on the island.
- 6:23We'll meet you on the island. All right, We're, we're getting
- 6:26ready. Brittany still putting on her
- 6:27make up. Whatever we get off the, the
- 6:31boat, we give our ID's, we go over there.
- 6:33Now obviously before you cross the border, you got to get
- 6:37sometimes they look through your stuff and, and, and they pick us
- 6:41out of 3000 people, 3000 people. Now in my book bag I had these
- 6:47electric THC, you know, smoking things.
- 6:51OK, I'm just telling you I didn't smoke either.
- 6:54I just knew they were in the bag.
- 6:56So I told Brittany I want to go back upstairs drop it.
- 6:58But they told me no wait a second what do you have?
- 7:00What do you have in your bag? Blah blah blah blah.
- 7:02I didn't want to lie so I told them I had these pens in my bag.
- 7:09All of a sudden they RIP apart my bag.
- 7:12They go through my bag, they find them.
- 7:14They say, do you have anything else?
- 7:17Please be honest with us or we might press charges.
- 7:19I said no, I don't have anything.
- 7:21Damn, dude. It gets worse.
- 7:24So they tell me. So the canine guy, one of the
- 7:26guys standing at the border, he tells me, listen, this is a
- 7:29quick thing. This is usually not a problem.
- 7:31All right, I'm fine. I'm calm down.
- 7:33Brittany's screaming on the top of her lungs, telling you how
- 7:35there are people bringing in through the border worse stuff
- 7:39than us there. There were people doing a lot
- 7:41worse stuff on the boat than what I had in my bag.
- 7:45OK. And this is a fact guys, because
- 7:47we've seen it. I was watching it with my bare
- 7:49eyes. Nevertheless they knew that, but
- 7:52they said we can't stop everybody.
- 7:54We stopped you. So they call, they call their,
- 7:58their hire sergeants and they come down and I'm sitting there
- 8:02and I'm like, OK, they're going to let us go bring you.
- 8:04Don't worry about it. So they say we, what we got to
- 8:08do is now we got to take the canine dogs up to your room and
- 8:12search your whole room. We want to search your whole
- 8:15room, make sure you're not smuggling anything.
- 8:17I said wait a second. You told me you were just going
- 8:20to take my electric cigarettes. This is going to be a quick
- 8:22situation and we can go. Well, Sir, you know, we don't
- 8:25know what you're doing. We don't know what you're here
- 8:26for. I I'm here to party.
- 8:28I'm here to go to Bermuda. I'm here to go to your goddamn
- 8:31beaches. So I'm sitting there.
- 8:33Brittany starts to scream. I'm starting to scream.
- 8:36They bring us up there. Could you imagine going on a
- 8:38boat, guys, All these people coming off of it and you have
- 8:41two canine dogs going on the boat with you sniffing through
- 8:46and getting up. So you had to go through another
- 8:48security area. And then you, they, they're
- 8:51checking your, your bags inside. You go upstairs.
- 8:53People are watching everything that's going on and they tell
- 8:56you to stand out your door while they go in and sniff and go
- 9:00through your whole bags, all your bags, all your stuff, every
- 9:03single thing. Don't find anything.
- 9:05And then they tell us, Oh, we got to take you down and then
- 9:07start, we're not going to write a summons.
- 9:09We're going to write a warning. We go downstairs, they take us
- 9:13to the room for an hour. They're writing.
- 9:15They asked me for my Social Security.
- 9:16They asked if they take pictures of my passport.
- 9:18And I'm like, wait a second, this is a freaking warning.
- 9:21And you're, you're you have me signing all this paperwork,
- 9:24you're confiscating everything that I have and you're telling
- 9:26me, listen, I'm not smuggling cocaine.
- 9:28I'm I'm not freaking the guy from blow.
- 9:31And I did say that to him. I said, I'm not sniffing
- 9:34cocaine. I'm not tracking in heroin.
- 9:36What is this? This is this is legalized in New
- 9:39York. I understand I made a mistake.
- 9:41I was honest with you. They said, listen, we're going
- 9:44to write up a report and we'll let you go.
- 9:46And I said after 2 1/2 hours, are you telling me it's only
- 9:49going to take about 20-30 minutes?
- 9:51And then embarrassing us in front of our boat, our boat
- 9:54mates, that for the whole rest of the trip, everybody kept
- 9:57coming up to me after I was in the hot man contest and every I
- 10:00and, and people wouldn't like, they would like just, that's all
- 10:03another story. I'll tell you that story
- 10:05tomorrow, but I mean Thursday. Nevertheless, they, it was
- 10:10absolutely embarrassing and for Bermuda and security and
- 10:15whatever they were trying to do there, maybe for once in their
- 10:19absolute stupid lives, they picked the right bag to go
- 10:23searching through because there were a lot worse drugs on that
- 10:26boat. A lot worse than an electric THC
- 10:30cigarette, which by the way, I never smoked and they could test
- 10:34my God damn blood. So I was embarrassed.
- 10:38Brittany was embarrassed. And then that was that day.
- 10:41So that that's the that's the first story I'll tell you.
- 10:45It wasn't one of the funny ones. It was one of the worst ones.
- 10:48I was embarrassed. It was one of the worst
- 10:49embarrassing positions I've ever been in in my entire life.
- 10:54So was it just? Like random it was.
- 10:56Random. They picked us out of 3000
- 10:59people, yeah, I'm sure. The 15 year olds in the club
- 11:01were just fine. Now if.
- 11:02We went with Elena and John at the same time.
- 11:05They probably don't pick us and they don't pull us over.
- 11:07It was because I was wearing a Yankee hat.
- 11:09It was because I was from New York.
- 11:11I really do believe that there were.
- 11:12And by the way, we were on a boat with a lot of Philadelphia
- 11:14people. A lot of Phil.
- 11:16I know Fish doesn't want to hear it.
- 11:18There was a lot of Philadelphia people on that boat.
- 11:20I would say 75% Philadelphia, probably 25% New York.
- 11:26And then they, I, I, I will say no, I'm sorry, 23% New York and
- 11:29the rest Indiana. I saw a couple of Indianapolis
- 11:32people, you know, people from Maine.
- 11:34It was very few people, but mainly Philadelphia, NY.
- 11:37So it was an interesting boat ride.
- 11:39Met a lot of people, lot of nice people, a lot of people.
- 11:42They're going to be tuning in. A lot of people that, you know,
- 11:45when they asked me what show I was doing and stuff like that,
- 11:48they, they knew who you were. Jabba, one of one of them is a
- 11:51huge fan of yours. I grew up a big Jabba
- 11:54Chamberlain fan and told me to tell you, tell Jabba I love him
- 11:58and I hope everything's going well for himself.
- 12:00So I mean, there's a lot of people, a lot of people on that
- 12:04one boat that had their own agenda.
- 12:07I wasn't the one trying to smuggle drugs into Bermuda.
- 12:12So I that was that was just a horrible situation for me.
- 12:16So that was that was the tail end of a beginning story that I
- 12:20could tell you throughout the show.
- 12:22Maybe I'll add a story here and there and a lot of funny ones.
- 12:26I'll give you some funny ones, but that was probably the worst
- 12:28It it did ruin half of my vacation.
- 12:31It didn't really make the day very good.
- 12:33I got a chance to see the pink sand.
- 12:35Dude, it's not pink. I don't know what they're
- 12:37saying. It's more like yellow and Peach
- 12:40than pink. Where did they come up with pink
- 12:42sand? OK, it wasn't pink.
- 12:45Just so everybody knows how's. The How's the food?
- 12:49I've never been on a cruise so I don't know foods.
- 12:51Great. I mean, they had steak dinners.
- 12:53We, we, we actually had three really big dinners that we had
- 12:57to pick from. So there's a lot, there's two
- 12:59places that you could get steak and there was some Italian
- 13:02restaurants on the boat that we we picked one of them.
- 13:05There were sushi, there were Chinese.
- 13:08And then they have the buffet, which you can have whatever the
- 13:10hell you want. And then they have the
- 13:11Manhattan, which they you get to order it.
- 13:14It's obviously a part of the boat ship.
- 13:17If you don't have a chance to, you don't have the money to go
- 13:20and spend it up to a steak restaurants or any of that.
- 13:22Everybody goes in there for their big fancy dinner.
- 13:24And by the way, it's probably one of the best dinners you'll
- 13:27have on the boat in the Manhattan.
- 13:29So a shout out to Donnie and Donnie was our a waiter when we
- 13:33went into the Manhattan. We love the guy.
- 13:35I, Tim, I must have tipped Brittany and me must have tipped
- 13:38them with John and Elena at least $200.00, at least $200 the
- 13:42two or three times we were there.
- 13:44We love the guy. The guy was such a nice guy,
- 13:45Philippine, really down to earth, funny as hell, and
- 13:49Brittany probably wanted to jump his bones because she just
- 13:52thought he was sweet. You know, I thought he was.
- 13:54I don't know what he was, but whatever.
- 13:56I don't want to talk about on the show.
- 13:57The Thunder win Game 7 versus the Pacers one one O 391 to win
- 14:03their very first NBA championship since relocating to
- 14:06OK C. Shay I was named the NBPNBAS
- 14:12finals MVP, averaging 30.6 points per game 5.6 assists per
- 14:17game 4.6 rebounds per games in in.
- 14:19In the series, Shay became the 10th player to win an NB AM VP
- 14:25and NBA Finals MVP in the same season and the first since
- 14:29LeBron in 2013. Shay also joined back Michael
- 14:33Jordan a Kareem Abdul Jabbard as the only players to win MVPS and
- 14:38the scoring title in the same season.
- 14:41The Thunder became the fourth team in NBA history to win 84
- 14:47total games in a season, joining the 2015 Warriors and the Bulls
- 14:53in back-to-back years in 95 and 96.
- 14:56Tyrese Hall Burton suffered an Achilles injury with five
- 15:00minutes remaining in the first quarter and likely will be out
- 15:04for the entire season next year. Albertan suffered a a calf
- 15:09injury during game five and then play 23 minutes on the injured
- 15:14calf in Game 6. With the Thunder winning the NBA
- 15:18title, there have now been seven different teams to win
- 15:23championships in seven years. First time in NBA history.
- 15:27Well congratulations to the OK C Thunder.
- 15:30I watched the game, bits and pieces of the game and
- 15:32throughout the series on the boat.
- 15:34I watched the series. It was back and forth
- 15:36basketball. It's you can't argue that this
- 15:38was a good series. 2 teams that were very evenly matched in some
- 15:42parts of the series, but the better team was the OK C
- 15:46Thunder. Now if Hal Burton stays in that
- 15:48game at Game 6, I think the Pacers win that series.
- 15:52I really do. Hal Burton was playing good
- 15:54basketball in the first quarter that those were one of those
- 15:57games that you would see Tyrese Halpern have a 3012 and 11 game
- 16:02and he has a triple double and has a world beating game against
- 16:06a guy like Shay Alexander. Well, it didn't happen.
- 16:08He goes down another great player that goes down with an
- 16:11Achilles tendon injury. We saw that against against the
- 16:14Knicks with, you know, Jason Tatum.
- 16:17Jason Tatum is going to be out next year.
- 16:19He got his his his surgery the day after.
- 16:21I expect Tyrese Halpern to have his surgery today.
- 16:24But two great players going down as fast as they did.
- 16:27You wouldn't absolutely like something like that.
- 16:30You would like to see OKC beat the best players, want to beat
- 16:34Indiana at their top and at the at their best.
- 16:37Well, things happen. We've seen this before.
- 16:39There's no excuses. And I know that's what the
- 16:41Pacers and I, and I think in the offseason, the Pacers and Rick
- 16:45Carla is going to go out and he's going to tell his team if
- 16:48we had Hal Burton, we win that series.
- 16:50And possibly could be true. But Shay Alexander is one of the
- 16:54best players in the league. I don't know if you can compare
- 16:57it to Michael Jordan. I know a lot of people want to
- 16:58do that. And everybody's trying to find
- 17:00that next Michael Jordan, as well As for years they were
- 17:03trying to find the other Allen Iverson.
- 17:05He can't compare and contrast players from different eras.
- 17:09What I could say about Shay Alexander is Shay Alexander is a
- 17:12killer. This guy goes out there, plays
- 17:15at the top of his game, one of the nicest guys on the
- 17:17basketball court, doesn't really talk much.
- 17:19You can see it doesn't talk much at the end of the game.
- 17:22He doesn't speak bad about the other players or the other team
- 17:25or even when they lose a game. Blame his teammates.
- 17:28That's what's impressive about Shay Alexander.
- 17:30He's special, he's fun to watch, and he's an offense machine.
- 17:34Do I think he's still the NB AM VP for the season?
- 17:38No. I believe Nicola Yokich was the
- 17:40best player in the league. Nevertheless, you can't take
- 17:43away of his success. This guy is one of very few
- 17:47people to win an MVP in a regular season and the MVP of
- 17:50the playoffs. And that stands out from guys
- 17:53like Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Shaquille O'Neal and Michael
- 17:56Jordan. But when you look at this, this
- 17:59series, it was incredible. Indiana was not expected to make
- 18:03the Finals. OKC was.
- 18:05OKC was one of the best teams in the league.
- 18:08They were the best team throughout the season.
- 18:09It was them and the Cavaliers. We expected that OKC was going
- 18:13to be here at one point. I did it, I'll admit it.
- 18:16I thought the Lakers were going to the Finals.
- 18:18I thought the Golden State Warriors had a better chance to
- 18:21make it than an OKC Thunder. So I take back what I say about
- 18:25what I thought of the OKC Thunder being the young team
- 18:28that they were. Nevertheless, this is a very
- 18:31well run machine, OK? And Jalen Williams, say whatever
- 18:36you want about what Shay Alexander did when you talk
- 18:39about Batman and Robin, these two guys, when we compare guys
- 18:44like Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan or even LeBron James and
- 18:47Kyrie Irving, this could be one of the top three top 4 duos we
- 18:52have ever seen in NBA history play in a final series.
- 18:56That's how good both these guys were back and forth.
- 18:59If Shay wasn't playing well in one game or 1/2, you had Jaylen
- 19:03Williams playing well in that half.
- 19:05And Jaylen Williams and Shay Alexander do things that other
- 19:09duos do not do. When you talk about Shaquille
- 19:11O'Neal and Kobe Bryant, okay, Kobe was a great defender.
- 19:15Shaquille O'Neal was not. Those are the facts.
- 19:18When you look at Shay and Jaylen Williams, these guys were
- 19:21killers defensively. They were killers offensively.
- 19:24That's the difference here. 2 dimensional, 2 players that
- 19:28could play 2 dimensional basketball and then you look at
- 19:31Tyrese Halliburton and all the players in the out, the cast
- 19:35that they had over there, It was a sensational year for them.
- 19:38They have a tremendous amount of talent and a lot of youth.
- 19:42The problem with them is they don't have the other guy.
- 19:45They have a bunch of good players behind Tyrese Halberton
- 19:48and we don't even know if Tyrese Halberton is an all world
- 19:50player. He's up and he's down.
- 19:52He has these unbelievable games though.
- 19:54We say this guy is the best point guard in the league and
- 19:56then there are games that you wonder where the hell was he in
- 19:59one of the halves? Where the hell was he in the
- 20:02whole game? So that's the problem with
- 20:04Tyrese Halberton. I I look at this series.
- 20:07And I look at all the great series over the last seven years
- 20:10and it it's, it's an amazing stat.
- 20:12And that's something that's so interesting.
- 20:14The Thunder, one of seven teams that have won championships in
- 20:19the last seven years. When you talk about Golden
- 20:21State, we talk about all those teams over the years, the Yokage
- 20:24and the Denver Nuggets. It's an amazing feat when you
- 20:28look at the NBA and you look at them, you look at the the
- 20:31compare and contrast all these teams and, and so close
- 20:35together. It's so the talent is so close
- 20:38in the NBA now. If you look at the NHL, you look
- 20:41at the two best teams in the last two years, it's the Florida
- 20:44Panthers and the Edmonton Oilers.
- 20:46Go look. And by the way, Florida,
- 20:48congratulations to them. I haven't even been done to even
- 20:51get my my slacks on the the Florida Panthers in the
- 20:53greatness of what they have done in the last two years.
- 20:55But we will I will mention some things about the Florida
- 20:58Panthers a little bit later in the show.
- 21:00What I what I thought about the NBA playoffs that I've never,
- 21:04ever said is the comparable thought that all the teams were
- 21:08so close together. There was no top team in the
- 21:12playoffs as good as OKC was. And they won what, 84 total wins
- 21:17this year? They were a good team.
- 21:19But even the games that they won, they ever either blew
- 21:22people out or the games are so very close.
- 21:25And and that's the thing about OKC, when the Thunder figures
- 21:28things out, when the Thunder and they're a young team, when they
- 21:32figure figure things out, they might be unstoppable.
- 21:35They could win 3-4 championships in a row next year.
- 21:38They got two first round draft picks.
- 21:39The year after they got two first round draft picks.
- 21:42This team is loaded and they're going to be loaded for many,
- 21:45many years. And congratulations to Chet
- 21:47Holgren, who was the number one pick in a draft a couple of
- 21:50years ago who can't stay healthy.
- 21:51As he admitted after the game, the guy showed up in game #718
- 21:56points, 8 rebounds. He was sensational.
- 21:59That's what you need from a third player.
- 22:01When you talk about the three, the trios that we've seen over
- 22:04the years, the Miami Heat, do you remember that LeBron James,
- 22:09Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh? Chris Bosh averaged 1718 points
- 22:12a game, Dwyane Wade averaged about 2425, and LeBron averaged
- 22:17at 30. Then you get 3 players of that
- 22:20magnitude giving you that many points and give you those kind
- 22:22of points in those kind of minutes, you're unstoppable.
- 22:26Unstoppable. And that's what OKC is.
- 22:29They're unstoppable. Heinstein gave you the defense
- 22:32and the boards that you needed offensively.
- 22:35And by the way, in the second-half of the game, they
- 22:37absolutely dominated on the offensive side of the boards.
- 22:41Dort was unbelievable, unbelievable on the boards,
- 22:45especially game #7 when you have that kind of rebounding and the
- 22:49defense that they played against Indianapolis.
- 22:52And I know everybody's going to say they didn't have Tyrese
- 22:54Halpern. Nevertheless, with or without
- 22:57Tyrese Halpern, even though I think the Pacers would have won
- 22:59that game, they played an unbelievable defensive game.
- 23:03And that's why, ladies and gentlemen, the Indiana Pacers
- 23:06did not win that series even with, with or without Tyrese
- 23:09Halpern in a lot of people's eyes.
- 23:11Me differently. Other people would probably
- 23:13agree that even with Tyrese Halpern, they don't win the
- 23:16series. Yeah, it's not.
- 23:17Definitive on on either angle because you, like you said, the
- 23:19Pacers were still able to do well in the second quarter with
- 23:22the bench unit when Halliburton probably would have been out of
- 23:24the game anyway. That's where they're a lot of
- 23:26their points came from when McConnell was shooting very
- 23:28well, Benedict Mathern in a nice game.
- 23:29That's why the Pacers were up at halftime.
- 23:31That might not happen even if Halliburton was healthy too.
- 23:33So I think it would have probably even out of that, that
- 23:35point you mentioned, the rebounding, though, that was I
- 23:37think the biggest key when you look at Game 6 to Game 7,
- 23:40because Chet Holmgren had a dot in game six.
- 23:42He had four points. He was allowing a lot of
- 23:44offensive rebounds, was not defending well inside as well
- 23:47against the Pacers bench players.
- 23:48And in this game he had eight rebounds.
- 23:50A lot of the bench players as well, getting those tough
- 23:52offensive rebounds like Case on Wallace, Alex Caruso, another
- 23:55obviously unsung hero. He's that great guy off the
- 23:58bench that he had 10 points. He had three rebounds.
- 24:00Some great defense as well. You mentioned Door 7 rebounds
- 24:03and he didn't have the greatest offensive game, but his defense
- 24:05was fantastic against those Pacers shooting guards.
- 24:07Look at the Pacers shooting guards of their starting unit.
- 24:09Nie Smith had just three points. You look at Obi topping off the
- 24:13bench had a goose egg. Ben Shepherd off the bench had a
- 24:16goose egg. Like these are not great
- 24:17numbers. And that's the biggest thing
- 24:19when you have Halliburton not scoring at that high 25 point
- 24:22potential that the Pacers are still trying to figure out.
- 24:24Yes, they have random bench players that are broken out like
- 24:27Nemhar, like the third in this game, but that's the only thing
- 24:29that's still holding them back when you don't have the volume
- 24:31score because the Thunder have that, which was Shay.
- 24:33Shay had 3029 points in that game and he said 30 points most
- 24:37of the series. You had Jalen Williams and Chet
- 24:39Helmwood, all three of them at the same time scoring.
- 24:41They can get away with that. The Pacers can't get away with
- 24:43it as much when you don't don't have that type of scoring
- 24:45factor. But the Pacers had a gritty
- 24:47game. You got to give them their
- 24:48defense, a lot of credit. They hung tough.
- 24:50They didn't allow a lot of. Threes in the first half, they
- 24:52had a lot. Of threes in the first half,
- 24:53like I was saying with those bench unit guys, Mathurin led
- 24:55the team in points, 24 points, had 13 rebounds in that game.
- 24:58So he definitely the hell is. This guy too, Mathurin, he he
- 25:01goes up, he goes. What I wanted to do is the
- 25:03draft. Three years ago, I remember.
- 25:04That unbelievable where this guy comes from.
- 25:06I'd never even heard of him in Arizona.
- 25:08Yeah, through the. Playoffs.
- 25:10I didn't even know he even existed until the playoffs.
- 25:13And that tells you how much I watch of the the Indianapolis
- 25:16Pacers. I I call it Indianapolis because
- 25:18that's what they're in Indiana Pacers, but they're the
- 25:20Indianapolis Pacers in my eyes. Nevertheless.
- 25:23By the way, I don't know if anybody knows this.
- 25:25The OKC Thunder are the first team in NBA history that had
- 25:28four second round draft picks in their lineup and part of the
- 25:31rotation. And three of them were G League
- 25:34players. They came from the G League and
- 25:36one of them was Alex Caruso, who actually won two NBA
- 25:40championships. So and, and by the way, that
- 25:43trade for Alex Caruso probably won them the championship
- 25:46because Alex Caruso was the unsung hero throughout the
- 25:50series, defending multiple positions, great rebounder,
- 25:53scored many different ways in this series.
- 25:56It was just fun to watch. I I mean, OKC is young, they're
- 25:59young guns. They're they're guys that you
- 26:01expect to be here next year. I don't know in the Western
- 26:05Conference, when you look at teams like The Mavericks
- 26:07yesterday going to get Cooper flag, they might have a healthy
- 26:10Kyrie Irving at some point and and obviously Anthony Davis.
- 26:14Maybe The Mavericks will challenge them next year.
- 26:16Maybe the Lakers will make a trade and get a big time player
- 26:19to add to Luka Dodge and LeBron James.
- 26:21We all know that it's the LJA. So LeBron James getting the
- 26:24player that he wants it, it might happen.
- 26:26Jaylen Green, he went over there to the Suns.
- 26:29Do you think Jaylen Green's going to stay there with the
- 26:31Suns? Not a chance in hell.
- 26:32I expect Phoenix to trade him in the next couple of weeks, maybe
- 26:35even before the draft a week away from today.
- 26:37So it's now the. LJA with now the same owner with
- 26:41the with the Dodgers that did all the deferred money.
- 26:43So the Sky's the limit for what LeBron can manipulate to bring
- 26:46over there to the Lakers. If if they have, it makes sense
- 26:49they'll change the CVA down to allow the deferred body so
- 26:52LeBron can get what he wants. I know a lot of people don't
- 26:53like Jalen Green and I know everybody's going to say, well,
- 26:55Jalen Green sucked over there with the Rockets.
- 26:57If LeBron James gets a hold of him and gets him in his his
- 27:00claws, he could turn Jalen Green into a great player.
- 27:03He helped Kyrie Irving develop. He's helped a lot of players
- 27:06over the years develop. If he gets a guy that can lead
- 27:09him and lead him to stray and put him in position to succeed
- 27:12Jalen Green is a great offensive option guy that could be 1/3
- 27:15option to a team that has LeBron James who's giving you 24 to 25
- 27:18points. Luka Tonchik next year who lost
- 27:20about 30 lbs in the last couple of weeks last month.
- 27:25If you have a healthy a Luka Tonchik next year who's giving
- 27:27you 35 points and an MVP candidate and you have Jalen
- 27:31Green giving you about 1819 points.
- 27:33Man, the Lakers could be considered one of the best teams
- 27:35in the Western Conference to challenge OKC as well.
- 27:38So I I mean it's it's a lot of a lot of interesting things that
- 27:41could happen in the next couple of weeks.
- 27:43I know everybody says, well, the the Knicks don't have a head
- 27:45coach. The Knicks are a stupid
- 27:47organization. I will tell you this, the Knicks
- 27:50waited because I'm sure they're interested in interviewing some
- 27:53of the Indiana, Indiana coaches and probably some of the OK C
- 27:56Thunder coaches. But All in all, I think it's
- 27:59they know who they're going to hire.
- 28:01It's going to be Johnny Bryant. You'll I expect it to happen in
- 28:04the next week before the draft. And don't be, don't be surprised
- 28:07if that happens. But stop crying, Knick fans.
- 28:10There's a lot more and a lot of other teams that should be
- 28:12crying more than you. Yeah.
- 28:13Going back to OK, CI just want to finish up with this before
- 28:15you go Java. They also had the for a young
- 28:17team, the adversity aspect that I think was something that I I
- 28:20questioned too. I also picked the Lakers at the
- 28:22at the start of the postseason to go to the playoffs, go to the
- 28:24finals because I thought LeBron Luca being there together, the
- 28:26Celtics, I had repeating. I was thinking that was going to
- 28:28happen. But again, OKC young last year
- 28:31and they end up losing the five seed.
- 28:32I think that nugget series really gave them a sense of
- 28:34adversity when they were losing all those buzzer buzzer beaters
- 28:37when they had the collapse the way they did and then they blow
- 28:39them out in game seven. I think that gave them a sense
- 28:41of and Shay fish you were talking about before we went on
- 28:45the air shot 8 for 27 but he still did so.
- 28:47Many other. Things very well he got 12
- 28:49assists. He still was playing great
- 28:50defense. I don't know how Burton was out
- 28:52Halliburton does lead the Pacers.
- 28:53It's definitely possible. But again, this was the game
- 28:56that was one with defense, which is the identity that that the
- 28:58Thunder want to bring and they still have the dots throughout
- 29:01the whole throughout the whole game on the defensive side of
- 29:03the ball. A.
- 29:04Tale of two halves defense, we knew was going to somehow just
- 29:07bottle them up because for I think it was 6 or 7 minutes into
- 29:14the third quarter, nobody else scored except TJ McConnell.
- 29:20And there's no chance you're going to win.
- 29:22And as soon as, as soon as I I saw it and then I was like, OK,
- 29:25well, it's been 4 minutes. They scored, It's been 5
- 29:29minutes. And I'm like, it's going to turn
- 29:30into a blowout. And it just goes to the depth in
- 29:34the defensive, just prowess that they had and just the
- 29:37aggressiveness. And I mean, it's tough.
- 29:40I mean, you have to play through adversity, obviously in any
- 29:43sport, no matter what. But being in a Game 7, having
- 29:46that happen like that, we've seen it before and it, it's
- 29:49never easy. And you got to have guys step up
- 29:53and they, they just didn't, they ran out of the gas.
- 29:56I mean, you could see how tired TJ was, you know, in the in the
- 30:00second-half towards the end, because he was trying to do
- 30:03everything. He went off for a while and it
- 30:06it was fun to watch, but nobody else was doing anything.
- 30:10They were, you know, just they're getting to the cup.
- 30:13But when you have guys that are athletic as SGA and then Chet
- 30:17obviously doing what he did yesterday and how he is way more
- 30:21athletic than I thought defensively and how he would
- 30:24switch off guys and and protect the rim.
- 30:27And obviously half the time he didn't have to jump.
- 30:29He just kind of had to go on his tip toes.
- 30:31But it was just it it was fun game, but then you just kind of
- 30:36knew how it was going to play out and it and it played out
- 30:39like I'm just glad they didn't get blown out by like 30 and he
- 30:43just well, Pacers. Bench was still there.
- 30:44They were doing enough to keep him in the game in the second
- 30:46well. And then they, they couldn't get
- 30:48a bucket. They, they got it down to 12
- 30:49with like 6 minutes to go. I'm like, we they still got a
- 30:52chance, but then they just couldn't make a bucket.
- 30:55And then they hit a big three and you know, they get to the
- 30:58line. But when you force 21 turnovers
- 31:00and you only have 6 it, that just tells you what it is.
- 31:04And hats off to Chet because he was Doo Doo magoo in game six.
- 31:10That's a good. Take right there.
- 31:11That's a good cut up Doo Doo that'll be.
- 31:13Good, you're all serious about my.
- 31:14Butt and so good for him and and it was it was cool to see like
- 31:21everybody's celebrating. He goes over to silver and like
- 31:25he wanted to just touch, like everybody was celebrating, but
- 31:29he would go over and just touch the trophy and then, you know,
- 31:31got pictures with his family and, you know, just was very
- 31:34candid about him not staying healthy.
- 31:35And I wasn't really sold on him when he and then obviously he
- 31:39gets hurt. So you're like, oh, another one
- 31:41of these. But hats off to him for working
- 31:43his butt off and expanding his game and you know, getting
- 31:47better. So we'll see what happens.
- 31:49I'm sure they got. Plenty of corn in Indiana also,
- 31:52but they're not going to have a great basketball team next year
- 31:56without Halliburton, man. And that for me as a Knicks fan,
- 32:00I, I was really upset with Halliburton, obviously his
- 32:03antics during the series, but you don't want to see a guy go
- 32:06out like this. There's some people that are
- 32:07kind of reveling in this a little too much.
- 32:10One of our fans was who was who was put up there.
- 32:13Kevin was a little, little too happy about the injury.
- 32:16Look, don't be too happy about the injury.
- 32:18That's what karma is. He was like, oh, it's karma.
- 32:20Like, no, no, you saying it's karma is going to mean something
- 32:23bad's going to happen to the Knicks now.
- 32:24So don't do that, Kevin. The Knicks need to have this
- 32:28wide open E next year. Who who's better than the Knicks
- 32:31right now going into next season?
- 32:34Even if they don't do anything because everyone's, that's a
- 32:38key. A key guy is hurt other than the
- 32:41Cavs. And I'm not super afraid of the
- 32:43Cavs, but that's. Doesn't this actually upset you?
- 32:46Because think about it, if Indiana is bad next year, if
- 32:49India, they'll be a playoff borderline player.
- 32:51But if they're not, they fall off next year.
- 32:54They're going to get a top lottery pick next year with Hal
- 32:56Burton coming back and the team that they have together.
- 32:59Same thing with the a guy A-Team like the Boston Celtics.
- 33:02They could be really, really bad.
- 33:03Jaylen Brown could go. They're here.
- 33:05I'm hearing stories that Jaylen Brown I yes, Kobe's wife or
- 33:08there's some stories coming out that he could be dating.
- 33:10Kobe did. Hear that, that, that.
- 33:12Could be happening. I don't really care about that.
- 33:14I know everybody keeps saying, but Jaylen Brown, There are
- 33:16stories coming out that Boston might let Jaylen Brown go and
- 33:18get his knee surgery in the offseason.
- 33:20That means he could be out at half a season.
- 33:22Boston could be really, really, really bad next year and they
- 33:26could get a lottery pick. Could you imagine what that team
- 33:28is going to be the year after if they have a healthy Jason Tatum,
- 33:31Jalen Brown and whoever they draft in next year's draft?
- 33:34Draft A. Boozer brother by the.
- 33:35Way is one of the best worry. About that when we get it's
- 33:38going to be. One wanted.
- 33:39Next to have a chance. They've got such a good chance
- 33:43now going to next year choke like they always do.
- 33:46Unfortunately, we'll see. Who the coach is, I hope they
- 33:48have a little bit more of a creative defensive system if
- 33:51they're going to stay with Towns and Robinson because obviously
- 33:54like look, the Knicks, those guys didn't play together.
- 33:57They were all hurt at different points of the season.
- 33:59So they never ran that Robinson Towns lineup until they got to
- 34:03the playoffs. So it just you need to play
- 34:06together if you're going to run any kind of defensive system,
- 34:08especially the really like dependent on each other system.
- 34:11Tibbs had it, it just wasn't going to work.
- 34:14And I think we saw it at the worst time by a coach who knew
- 34:16how to exploit it. Carlisle deserves all the credit
- 34:19in the world for getting that team to to really get to that
- 34:23point. I I don't think you can give all
- 34:25the credit to Halliburton. I think Carlisle deserves a
- 34:28whole lot of credit. I mean, we were talking about it
- 34:30last week. Errol, he got he think about
- 34:32what he did. He was able to defeat the coach
- 34:35of the year in at the Cavs with what's with our buddy?
- 34:42I can't forget his name right now, Cavs coach Kenny, our boy
- 34:45Kenny. Then he beats the Knicks so bad
- 34:48Tibbs gets fired and then he goes to game seven and only
- 34:53loses. And I, and I don't know, I the
- 34:55way Halliburton was playing, it looked like it was going to be
- 34:58one of those 30 point triple double S when he hit those 3
- 35:01threes from way downtown like he was Steph Curry to start the
- 35:04game. My God, it looked like we're
- 35:07about to see it again. And I think that's the only
- 35:11reason they lose. I think he coached almost a
- 35:13perfect playoffs, you know, as good as you possibly can coach
- 35:17and I think he deserves all the credit he.
- 35:19He deserves a lot of credit and nobody's going to take away from
- 35:22Rick Carl. I know Joppa says he was part of
- 35:23those Boston teams. I could care less because he
- 35:26barely played. We know he's a great basketball
- 35:28mind. There's no question he's a great
- 35:29basketball mind And and me and Fish were talking about it.
- 35:32I think it was yesterday or today.
- 35:34We were talking about it today, that he probably is a top 2
- 35:38coach right now in the NBA. Him and Spoelstra, you can argue
- 35:41are the two best coaches in the NBA and I don't think he's
- 35:44better than Spoelstra because Bolstra has done it with
- 35:47multiple teams and he's an impressive with eight seeds.
- 35:50Yeah, he's impressive. He's an impressive coach.
- 35:53Pat Riley disciple and a lot of those guys, look at their
- 35:56stories coming out that Jeff Van Gundy is interviewing for the
- 35:59Nick coach again. Oh yeah, coaching job again.
- 36:01So I don't want Jeff Van Gundy's an old man.
- 36:03I don't want the old, the old, you know, I'd.
- 36:05Rather have him on TV calling the game than what the crap we
- 36:09had watched for that entire series.
- 36:10I've also. Heard, Oh my God, did you hear
- 36:12that Stephen A Smith is, is pushing for for Mark Jackson?
- 36:16I don't want Mark Jackson for one reason.
- 36:19Mark Jackson is a great personality, but in front of the
- 36:22press here in New York, he will make a mockery out of the New
- 36:25York Knicks. If the Knicks start to lose, it
- 36:28will be really, really bad, so and they will Mark.
- 36:30Jackson, I'm just. Saying they'll drop the hammer
- 36:33on Mark Jackson over here pretty quickly.
- 36:35He'll be like Derek Fisher. Yeah.
- 36:37How quick Derek Fisher was in and out because he was sleeping
- 36:39with other people's wives. That's what's going to happen, I
- 36:41don't think. Mark Jackson.
- 36:43By the way, does anybody know the story about Mark Jackson?
- 36:45Jackson, after he got fired, he was out New York and he was
- 36:48going senile and he was talking about like Jesus Christ being
- 36:52rebirthed and something like that.
- 36:53He was on a video and embarrassed himself.
- 36:56Like he really embarrassed himself when it came to
- 36:58preaching about certain things and the devil.
- 37:01I mean, I don't want Mark Jackson going out there in the
- 37:03public eye and saying something stupid that's going to make us
- 37:06look bad, worse than we always do as New Yorkers.
- 37:09So I don't want Mark Jackson for all the people, you know,
- 37:13speaking about Mark Jackson being the next head coach for
- 37:15the next. But then again, Rick Carlisle is
- 37:17a sensational coach. You got to give him a lot of
- 37:19credit. And and again, the Pacers
- 37:21deserve a lot of credit for all the trials and tribulations
- 37:23they've had all season long, the injuries that they've had, the
- 37:26comebacks that they've had and the way they shot the ball when
- 37:30they needed to hit threes and big threes, they did it.
- 37:33The problem with the NBA, you'll ride with the three.
- 37:36You die with the three. And that's what happened with
- 37:38the Indiana. And that's why I think the NBA
- 37:41and the LJA, whatever you want to call it, is impossible to
- 37:44understand these three-point lines.
- 37:47Eventually, I've been hearing stories that the NBA could try
- 37:49to fit that tournament, a four point line where you could shoot
- 37:524 point shots. I do not want to see that.
- 37:55The NBA needs to stop this disgrace of a basketball game
- 37:59when it comes to, oh, now everybody's going to be chucking
- 38:01up four points. You know, hey, it's four point.
- 38:04Remember Rock and Jock on Mt. Yeah, I remember the rock and
- 38:08jock game. Well, in NBA Jan, they used to
- 38:10have the hot spots where you can like dunk from like for an 8
- 38:13pointer from like the behind the line or so behind the half
- 38:16court. It is all so stupid.
- 38:18And I agree. And Errol, I was actually
- 38:20talking to a high school basketball coach today who just
- 38:23went to me. He's like, I don't watch the NBI
- 38:25was like, did you see the game last night?
- 38:26And he goes, I don't watch the NBA.
- 38:28He's like, I can't deal with just these three pointers, 3
- 38:31pointers killing the game. And he's an old man.
- 38:33So he's gotten to the point where he remembers the game for
- 38:35probably about 30 plus years without, without a shot clock,
- 38:39without, you know, a three-point line.
- 38:41And he just hates what we were talking about.
- 38:43I'm like, look, you know, it's when they we have that 5
- 38:46outlook, when you have all the teams running it, everyone's
- 38:48just standing around the perimeter.
- 38:50Even goal, even OKC is doing it. It's just Shea dribbling at the
- 38:53top of the key or coming off from an angle and there's a like
- 38:56maybe 1, one action like screen, you know, screen away.
- 38:59It's nothing crazy. They don't do anything that used
- 39:02to be like intricate like we used to see.
- 39:04There's very few teams running a motion offense like Popovich did
- 39:07for a number of years where there's, you know, and you can
- 39:10go back and teams that used to do more different like the
- 39:13triangle offense where it's just the balls moving.
- 39:16So it's entertaining basketball and guys are cutting, guys are
- 39:19in the post and setting, you know, screens in the post.
- 39:22We don't see any of that anymore.
- 39:23We just see whoever's got the best shooting night and whoever
- 39:26can play the best perimeter defense is the winner, and it's
- 39:30not as fun of a game, and that sucks.
- 39:32It's boring. And that's why I don't like
- 39:33watching it in the regular season.
- 39:35Nobody cares about the regular season with the.
- 39:37I think they need the fix it. Errol to me is a legal offense
- 39:42like they used to have a legal defense.
- 39:43Defense no more five out. You cannot have a 5 outside.
- 39:47Bringing hand checking back to the NBA, that would be fun.
- 39:50That's what you want to see. And, and stop with these
- 39:52flagrant ones and flagrant twos and technical fouls.
- 39:56Let the game be a little bit more rougher, make the game a
- 39:59little bit more fun. When the game was like that in
- 40:02the 90s, it was fun to watch Shaquille O'Neal and Charles
- 40:04Barkley swinging at each other. I want to see that Kenny, you
- 40:08know, Kenny the Jet Smith, you know, cursing out, you know,
- 40:11Vernon Maxwell because he tried to hip check them when he was
- 40:14going up for a layup. That's what I want to see.
- 40:16That's what what made the game so fun to watch.
- 40:20Now you watch you put a pinky on LeBron James, he's going up and
- 40:23shooting 2 free throws. I don't want to see it anymore
- 40:25or Steph Curry shooting up a three and because he's flopping
- 40:29and bopping or one of the worst James Harden, Mr. Flopper
- 40:33himself, he chucks up threes and then he's going to the free
- 40:36throw line shooting three, you know, 3 free throws.
- 40:39I don't want to see that. It's an easy 3 points and that
- 40:41gives teams much better chances to winning games, especially in
- 40:45a regular season. That's none of these young kids
- 40:47even care about that. It's fantasy sports and money
- 40:50making Jabba. You know all about it is what
- 40:52could you bring to me when it comes to my pockets as I was on
- 40:56the boat and a cruise trip? What are they doing all
- 40:59practically 90% of the time they were gambling.
- 41:02That's what they were doing on the boat.
- 41:04Gamble, gamble, gamble, gobble gobble gobble like the chicken
- 41:07always do or the rooster. You know, all bad cops anyways.
- 41:11That's. The next one, No, that's the
- 41:13turkeys. Well.
- 41:14Wait a second, Roosters are not turkeys?
- 41:17Well, they're the ones the. Gobble.
- 41:19Well, yeah, Turkey's gobble. Whatever.
- 41:22Anyways, ESPN reports that Kevin Durant is being traded to the
- 41:26Rockets, his fourth different team since leaving the Thunder
- 41:31in 2016. The Suns will get back the
- 41:34number 10 overall pick in this year's draft, 5 second round
- 41:39draft picks and guard Jalen Green.
- 41:42And yes, once again, he's going somewhere else.
- 41:45The one and only Dylan Brooks. Reports say that the Rockets
- 41:49spurs any heat where 3 landing spots for Durant preferred to be
- 41:53traded to. Durant also mentioned wanting to
- 41:57go to the Rockets because of his relationship with his head coach
- 42:02Imei Udoka. Yes, I said it right.
- 42:05From his team with the Nets and USA Basketball, Durant was the
- 42:11best in the NBA this year with 49.7% shooting percentage on
- 42:17jump shots and 53.1% in mid range shots.
- 42:21The Rockets were 24th in the NBA this year in affected field
- 42:27goals, percentage on jump shots and 27th on shots off the
- 42:33dribble, something Durant is very strong at.
- 42:36After the trade, the Rockets, betting odd to win next year's
- 42:40NBA title, was 18 to one, second highest only behind the Thunder.
- 42:46What are they on? Drugs.
- 42:48I love Kevin Durant. He's a great player.
- 42:51Besides his Twitter pics or his Twitter feeds, I love Kevin
- 42:55Durant, his nonsense off the court and his greatness on the
- 42:59basketball court. This is not the Kevin Durant
- 43:02when he was 2829 or even 30. This is Kevin Durant who's 36
- 43:07years old this year. He's an old man, OK, He's a good
- 43:10player. He still can shoot the three.
- 43:13He's still one of the more efficient guys that you would
- 43:16expect that gets the ball and shoots the ball.
- 43:18The the problem with Kevin Durant is he gets hurt too much.
- 43:21The problem right now with the Rockets, they gave away depth.
- 43:24Dylan Brooks is a good defender. Dylan Brooks is a good enforcer.
- 43:27You losing Dylan Brooks and Jalen Green and the 10th overall
- 43:31pick, you're not looking towards this year's draft saying, Oh
- 43:35well, the Rockets still can add a piece with Kevin Durant and
- 43:38the players that they have where they can get over the hump.
- 43:40Here's the problem right now with the Western Conference, as
- 43:43much as they're 18 to 1 betting favorites, that doesn't mean
- 43:46crap. And by the way, everybody that
- 43:48says says, hey, you know what? There's something about Vegas
- 43:50that they know something that we don't.
- 43:52Here's what Vegas is trying to try to persuade you that look,
- 43:56the LJA doesn't know what the organization and the product is
- 44:00going to do in the offseason to help LeBron James.
- 44:03Because we all know LeBron James is going to get something out of
- 44:08this. As we see Cooper flag go to The
- 44:10Mavericks when they're 1.8% percentage chance to get the
- 44:14number one pick. Just think about it, 1.8%,
- 44:18that's 98%. There was a 98% chance they
- 44:22couldn't get Cooper flag and they got the number one pick.
- 44:25Why? Because the LJA and LeBron James
- 44:28got what he wanted. Luca friggin Dodgek.
- 44:31That's what happened, ladies and gentlemen.
- 44:34But nevertheless, you go back and you look at this situation
- 44:38and and I like, like I said, I'm going to go back to Kevin
- 44:40Durant. I like him.
- 44:41A lot of Knick fans would have rathered him going to the
- 44:43Knicks. What were the Knicks willing to
- 44:45give up to get Kevin Durant, OG and Anobi?
- 44:48I've heard Michael Bridges, I heard that could be involved in
- 44:52Miles McBride was another name that we could have been involved
- 44:55with that trade. Mitchell Robertson or the Knick
- 44:57fans just absolutely adore. Do you want to give up two
- 45:00pieces or three pieces to the puzzle to get a Kevin Durant
- 45:05who, by the way, didn't want to come to the Knicks when he had a
- 45:08chance to come to the Knicks? Wayne, he couldn't.
- 45:10He went, he decided to go to the Nets to play with Kyrie Irving
- 45:13and then drew out James Harden. What a debacle that was.
- 45:17The fact is Kevin Durant isn't the same Kevin Durant and Kevin
- 45:20Durant couldn't do it himself. Kevin Durant is now going to a
- 45:23Rockets team that has who? Who's the other guy on this
- 45:27roster? Sweetie please tell me who is
- 45:30the other guy on this roster that you that scares you when it
- 45:35come it comes to making a run for an NBA title?
- 45:37Please the. Next the The next best player
- 45:40you're looking at scoring wise is probably Van Vleet.
- 45:42Overall, it's probably Van. Vleet yeah, San Grun's the next
- 45:46best player. Grun is.
- 45:47The best all around player. For sure.
- 45:49Yeah, big man. You're going to tell me this guy
- 45:54is a game? They got a.
- 45:55Big man and they got a, they got a guard in Van Vleet who's been
- 45:59there for a title stop. He's he won a title in Toronto.
- 46:02Wasn't the guy there? But you know they've been.
- 46:04Trying to trade Van Vleet for the last two years at the trade
- 46:08downline, They don't even want him there.
- 46:09This is a crock. And I don't I don't want to sit
- 46:12here and just say that Kevin Durant didn't want that to
- 46:14happen with the Suns. When they added the pieces that
- 46:17they had with Bradley Beal over there and Booker.
- 46:20They had a better trio over there than he does over here
- 46:23with the Rocket. I understand e-mail.
- 46:26Adoka is a good coach. Great.
- 46:28He also likes to get into other people's pants.
- 46:31You know, he's married and he likes to jump ship every single
- 46:33time. Hey, does he have hoes in
- 46:35different area codes? Maybe we should ask his wife.
- 46:38Nevertheless, I could care less. The fact right now is Kevin
- 46:42Durant is heading to the Houston Rockets.
- 46:44I know Jamie Lee, you don't like it.
- 46:45Or maybe you do. I know you're a Rockets fan.
- 46:48The fact is, Rocket fans cannot be happy.
- 46:50Do we remember the last? OK, C OK, C Thunder play players
- 46:54that have gone to the Rockets, huh?
- 46:55Let's go back. Russell Westbrook was over there
- 46:58with James Harden. How did that work out?
- 47:01Please tell me they were both there, both of them.
- 47:05Both of them were there playing with each other.
- 47:07How did that debacle work out for them?
- 47:09It didn't. James Harden, a bull hog,
- 47:12Russell Westbrook, a bull hog. You also had Chris Paul there.
- 47:15How did that work out? Yeah, they had better teams and
- 47:19better players there and Kevin Durant there.
- 47:21What does that do for the organization?
- 47:24It doesn't do nothing. And I don't know why anybody,
- 47:27including Vegas, thinks they're the 18 to 1 favorites out of the
- 47:31Western Conference. How about Denver?
- 47:33You're going to tell me Denver's not getting a pieces in the
- 47:35offseason and maybe trade away pieces?
- 47:37I've heard that Jamal Murray could be traded in the
- 47:39offseason. Teams interested in bringing in
- 47:41a point guard to help them out. You put another piece with a guy
- 47:44like Yokich? Are you kidding me?
- 47:46You're going to give them the 18-1 favorites, the second best
- 47:49team to come out of the West. What are you on drugs?
- 47:52LJA, ladies and gentlemen. That's what I'm saying.
- 47:55Vegas and the LJA. Who's sleeping with who?
- 47:58Is Adam Silver sleeping with somebody over there in Vegas or
- 48:01his ears flying away like Dumbo? He looked terrible by the way he
- 48:06went up there carrying that freaking trophy.
- 48:08His ears, one of his ears were bigger than the freaking trophy.
- 48:11I mean, honestly, his nose really stuck out too.
- 48:14He looks like Poke Pinocchio. I, I just, I, I am so tired of
- 48:18Adam Silver and, and the NBA and these executives thinking that
- 48:23this is a great sport and this is a great product that they
- 48:26have. Now I'll go back to what I said.
- 48:29I know everybody's going to look at me and say, wait a second,
- 48:31Errol, you just said the product has been the best, I mean, the
- 48:35closest that it's ever been. Here's the problem.
- 48:38Doesn't he? Look like Dracula.
- 48:39Oh man, he looks so. Bad he he dude.
- 48:41He is one of the goofiest looking guys I've ever seen.
- 48:44All right, he is Goofy, but neverthel he is goofy.
- 48:46He almost took over for Disney for as the CEO of Disney, he's
- 48:51perfect. So that's how he left.
- 48:54It was pretty. Good.
- 48:55It was great. Thank you, I appreciate it.
- 48:57Anyways, getting back to the NBA and the way the NBA works, I
- 49:02love those bad those bad guy teams, the Lakers of the 80's,
- 49:05the the Celtics of the 80's, the the 90s or even the late 80's,
- 49:09the Detroit Pistons or the Chicago Bulls or the, the
- 49:13Rockets were very likable team. So I can't say they were the
- 49:15mean people. Even even San Antonio, they were
- 49:18a team that you cheered on because nobody, you know,
- 49:20everybody like Gregg Popovich and Tim Duncan was a quiet guy
- 49:23that went out there and played the game.
- 49:24But you like those bad guys, The Lakers of the nine of the early
- 49:282000s with Kobe Bryant, the assassin that he was, Mamba
- 49:32before he became the Mamba and Shaquille O'Neal doesn't shut
- 49:35his mouth. I'm a Diesel.
- 49:36I'm going to take the hope and shove it up your ass.
- 49:38You know those kind of guys. There was always those teams
- 49:41that you love to hate. LeBron James with the Miami
- 49:44Heat, remember that with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, you love to
- 49:48hate those teams. Even the LeBron James of Kyrie
- 49:51Irving and Kevin Love, you hated those teams.
- 49:53The NBA don't have that anymore. Who do you hate?
- 49:56You have Indiana and Halpern choking when he's playing in
- 50:00Madison Square Garden. Am I really that scared of
- 50:03Tyrese Halpern and the crap that they have over there?
- 50:05OK C is a good young team. Do you think OK C is going to
- 50:08win the championship next year? Right now, when you look at the
- 50:11numbers and the statistics, you probably say no, they're they
- 50:14don't have that. That assassin over there.
- 50:17Shay is a great player. Is he really that much of an
- 50:20assassin over there for the Thunder?
- 50:22For that, you could say, oh, man, they're going to absolutely
- 50:25win another title. There's a lot of questions
- 50:27there. So, I mean, I know Fish is
- 50:30sitting here laughing and happy that the Knicks have the best
- 50:33chance to win the East and maybe go on to go to the NBA Finals.
- 50:38I just, I don't trust the Knicks and I don't trust the NBA
- 50:41because there's no team out there that scares me and says,
- 50:45hey, you know what? I don't want to play that team
- 50:47next year. I don't want to play because
- 50:49they have that assassin. They have Shay Alexander that
- 50:51really scares me. He's a great offensive player,
- 50:53but he doesn't scare me. That's why Hal Burton, I thought
- 50:57was the assassin of this series, even though Shay was the better
- 51:01player when Hal Burton took over certain games, I think people,
- 51:04some people remember what Shay was.
- 51:06I mean, what? How Burton was doing in this
- 51:08series when he took over some of those games, then Shay Alexander
- 51:12when he he was averaging 202829 points in this series.
- 51:16So I that's the only problem right now in the NBA.
- 51:18There's no assassin team that everybody wants to beat.
- 51:21Nobody Golden State that I hated, Golden State.
- 51:24Everybody hated Golden State when they were.
- 51:26They will have Kevin Durant and and Steph Curry and Klay
- 51:30Thompson and Draymond Green. There's nothing out there right
- 51:33now in the NBA that the NBA provides where it says, hey, I
- 51:38want to play that team. And that's the problem right now
- 51:41with the LJA LeBron James Association.
- 51:43LeBron James has taken this product and shoved it up his
- 51:48ass. And that's what makes them the
- 51:49Lakers clapped it. Right out.
- 51:50Yeah, the Lakers. Might be the most hateable team
- 51:52for that reason, yes. Like.
- 51:53I always gave up the booty. As LeBron James always gives up
- 51:57the booty and another. Thing.
- 51:58Let's go ask. P Diddy for that.
- 51:59You know the other thing, there's a lot of those other
- 52:00thing they. Gave up the booty.
- 52:01Maybe too soon. Maybe too soon.
- 52:07Bend over. Bend over, LeBron.
- 52:09OK. Oh, P, what was that?
- 52:14Are you happy to see me? That thing is a little small
- 52:16there. Are you still doing the goofy
- 52:18voice? I think it just, it just kept
- 52:22carrying on. Honestly, as long as she's
- 52:23using. Dude wipes and taking care of my
- 52:252 hole. I'm good, Goofy.
- 52:27Would never use dude wipes. Ouch.
- 52:30I don't know. I mean, we should promote that
- 52:32for Disney. You know, Dude wipe Disney, Dude
- 52:35wipes Disney, Dude wipes. You know, with Goofy, Mickey,
- 52:38Minnie, all of them, Donald Duck, you know that kind of
- 52:41stuff. Who's quacking, ladies and
- 52:43gentlemen? I'm quacking.
- 52:45I had to go on that boat ride cruise.
- 52:48Thank you, I almost lost lost my son at Disney.
- 52:51Oh jeez. I don't want to know the story.
- 52:53I don't want the story so. No, he was.
- 52:55He was hiding in the in the clothes, like the shirts.
- 52:59The shirts. What you he was.
- 53:01He was like, he was like 4. You sure Minnie wasn't trying to
- 53:04steal him? Yeah.
- 53:08We found him. He was, he was playing like
- 53:10peekaboo. Oh.
- 53:12God, peekaboo ICU. That's a good one.
- 53:14That's a good drop. Peekaboo, peekaboo.
- 53:17That's right, I gave. Up the movie there.
- 53:19So, Errol, would you say it was a successful trip despite all
- 53:23this stuff? You know, everybody's going to
- 53:26sit here and tell me, Errol, stop putting down the trip.
- 53:29There are good parts of the trip that I can talk about, and there
- 53:32are a lot of bad ones. And OK, better question is,
- 53:35would you do it again? No.
- 53:36Not, not that, not Norwegian. I will never go on a Norwegian
- 53:40cruise ship ever again. And so you haven't.
- 53:44You haven't banged it all together.
- 53:46No, I'm. Not going to bang it.
- 53:47And if I'm going to bang it, I'm going to bang it 3 or 4 times.
- 53:50I'm just not going to bang it with that.
- 53:51And, and if a cruise ship had a tailpipe, I'm not banging it.
- 53:55OK, I'm moving away from the tailpipe before it bangs me.
- 53:59It by the by the way, I have pictures of a rock almost raping
- 54:01me. That's a whole nother story over
- 54:03there in Bermuda. These pictures.
- 54:05If I showed you these pictures, it would look like I was getting
- 54:08banged in the ass by a rock. Just say it really does.
- 54:11I told Brittany I was like, what the hell are you doing that
- 54:14looks now those pictures are horrible.
- 54:16It really looks and my face is that I'm making it looks like
- 54:19the the the the rocks fucking me.
- 54:21Excuse my language, but that's what it looks like.
- 54:23It is a horrible sight. Let me tell you I'll show you
- 54:26guys the picture. I'll send it in a group message.
- 54:28Tell me if it doesn't look like the rocks raping me.
- 54:31So and she laughs at it all the time.
- 54:32I say, who told you to take that picture?
- 54:34I'm not even looking up. I'm looking down and I'm making
- 54:37these faces because I'm trying to the the rock was so sharp, it
- 54:40was sticking me, you know, in in areas I can't even tell you
- 54:44Inevitable I. Thought I thought at first he
- 54:46meant like the rock that you saw in Bermuda, not like a rock, a
- 54:49rock. A big huge rock was stabbing me
- 54:52in the ass, yes, and I was making these weird faces, Yeah.
- 54:56So anyways, I'm sorry guys, I'm sorry I cursed, but it was an
- 55:00interesting Norwegian trip and I definitely would probably never
- 55:05do Norwegian again. We got to do, I want to tell
- 55:08this, we have to, I said got to. We have to do a trip with all of
- 55:13us and our significant others. Speedy, you can have your hands.
- 55:17That could be we could dress your hand up as your significant
- 55:19others, you know, or you know what, you could take Tommy as
- 55:22your guest. You know, you could sleep
- 55:24together in a bed. What do you think, Tommy?
- 55:26I think that'll be cool. That is a hard pass.
- 55:29Well, you snore loud enough. I think Speedy Speedy's the most
- 55:32quiet sleeper. He curls up, dude.
- 55:36He curls up in a ball. It's like, it's like I've never
- 55:39seen a fish. You've seen him.
- 55:41He curls up in this little ball. So.
- 55:43Like a little, I don't know what I saw him.
- 55:44He looked like Frankenstein's monster, waking up straight up
- 55:49like this. And it was, it was interesting.
- 55:53It was an interesting thing. It was late at night, though.
- 55:56It was late at night, yeah. He doesn't sleep much though I
- 55:59heard no. Not until four, 5:00, and then
- 56:02he'll sleep all the way to 1212 in the afternoon.
- 56:04At 1. You have to really smack him
- 56:06around or even spill water or even piss on his face.
- 56:09I didn't do that. OK, so I But if he did that, I'd
- 56:12probably wake him up. Right, Speedy?
- 56:14Would that wake you up? No.
- 56:15No. You would be sleeping if I
- 56:16pissed on you. I don't.
- 56:18Know probably wake up I. Don't know.
- 56:23Just like Kevin Durant's going to wake up the Rockets when he
- 56:28moves on. Over to them.
- 56:30Could you imagine? That do we?
- 56:31Really think that this is going to lead to anything other than
- 56:34like a low playoff seed in a first round exit.
- 56:36I don't. Think they're going to be a low
- 56:38playoff seed. I think they're going to be the.
- 56:40West is stacked 1/5. Like as bad as the east is, as
- 56:44good as the West is next year I think.
- 56:46They're. 5th or 6th? Seed.
- 56:48That's where I think the Rockets are now if if Kevin Durant stays
- 56:51healthy and he plays is 68 games, I think the Rockets are a
- 56:56fourth seed. That's where I think they are.
- 56:58But I don't expect Kevin Durant to play 68 games.
- 57:00I'll be very surprised if Kevin Durant plays 4850 games.
- 57:04And what that tells me is when you're looking at the talent
- 57:06that they have around them, unless they're planning to add
- 57:08another piece this offseason, I I just don't see it.
- 57:12I don't know where Vegas believes that they're an 18 one
- 57:15favorite to come out of the West.
- 57:17It just doesn't make any sense. So I agree with you.
- 57:20They're stacked, the Western stacked and we're going to have
- 57:23Mr. Roy coming on and I mean, and, and he's going to I'm sure
- 57:28he's going to have his take to it because Tim has been on a
- 57:32show before and over the years. He said what, you know, he
- 57:35thought the Golden State Warriors are going to be.
- 57:36He mentioned that Meyer, I, I think it was like 3 or 4 years
- 57:39ago, Speedy, if I'm not mistaken, he said that Meyer was
- 57:42thinking about stepping down. Yeah, he did.
- 57:44And the first time we. Had him on was in 2020.
- 57:46Yeah, and. And he said that once that
- 57:47happens, Golden State's going to start to get rid of pieces and,
- 57:52and start to rebuild. And they haven't.
- 57:55I'm not going to say they have one because they haven't, but
- 57:58they've, they've come close, but they haven't gotten over the
- 58:01hump since Meyer left when they beat the the Boston Celtics in
- 58:05the finals that year. And it's, it's, it's now your
- 58:07transition. You're bringing Jimmy buckets.
- 58:09You, you still have Steph there. I think if I was the Golden
- 58:12State Warriors and I that's something I want to talk about
- 58:14with Roy. Do you trade Steph Curry?
- 58:16Do you you try to get as much as you can for Steph Curry to
- 58:19rebuild? I I think they should they.
- 58:21They can't do. It'd be like trading Jet Derek
- 58:23Jeter. You can't do that.
- 58:24Well, wait a second. If you're a team in an
- 58:26organization that might be, I don't know, a team that is more
- 58:32than two players away, why would you ride or die with Steph Curry
- 58:36that has maybe two or three years left, maybe at best?
- 58:39He's but he's not the guy you're training because that skill
- 58:42shooting, even if he can't be the one that creates the shots
- 58:45later on in his career, he's going to be able to do that for
- 58:47a long time, right? He could be his catch and shoot
- 58:50guy off the bench for 20 points in like 15 minutes when he's 43.
- 58:54If he really wanted to, he's not going to want to.
- 58:56I don't think you're not going to wait.
- 58:58He's only he's 30, but now he doesn't have to be the main guy
- 59:00at that point, but you're not. I think he's still good enough
- 59:03to be the main guy for another year maybe too.
- 59:05And that that's and we'll see next year because you're right,
- 59:08Jimmy Buckets is old also. This is the year that they're
- 59:11going to go all in, right guys? Wonder what they do?
- 59:14All right, well. You have a caller.
- 59:15He's been on, he's been on our network for last year, year and
- 59:18a half. Very happy to have him on.
- 59:20He is the lead guy for Snowman in the morning.
- 59:25Brian Snow, Snowman What's up, buddy?
- 59:28What's going on partner? Glad you're safe back from your
- 59:31trip and thanks for having me on tonight.
- 59:33I appreciate it. Well.
- 59:34We love you, you're unbelievable on the radio, you have a great
- 59:37personality and always give a great sports takes.
- 59:40So what would you like to talk about?
- 59:44Who? The hell, said the Houston
- 59:45Rockets will be competitive this coming year just because I got
- 59:49Kevin Durant? I wonder or as.
- 59:51I love to say on my show in the mornings, what in the all types
- 59:55of blue hell is that? Blue Hell, Is that where Kevin
- 1:00:00Durant lives? Right now he does.
- 1:00:05That. That might be one of his Twitter
- 1:00:08handles now. Oh.
- 1:00:09That's true. Well, seven or eight of them and
- 1:00:11maybe 10 of them by the time he's done with the Houston
- 1:00:14Rockets. You know, it's interesting Vegas
- 1:00:16came out with the the numbers today over the last 24 hours and
- 1:00:20they gave him 18 to 1 odds, which is second right now in a
- 1:00:24Western Conference. What are your thoughts to that?
- 1:00:29Second in the Western Conference, we're talking about
- 1:00:31the same Kevin Durant whose best basketball was left in the Bay.
- 1:00:35Mind you, his two best years were in the Bay.
- 1:00:38And now that he's going to be in his 18th season out of Texas and
- 1:00:44playing in Texas and they say they're the second best team.
- 1:00:48I repeat a question that you said earlier in the
- 1:00:50conversation. Who else on that team frightens
- 1:00:52you? Nobody.
- 1:00:55Van Fleet, Who else? On that team frightens you, Van
- 1:00:56Fleet. Who they, we tried to trade last
- 1:00:59year at the trade deadline and nobody really wanted him.
- 1:01:02No. And they do, you know, you know,
- 1:01:04what they tried to get for Van Vleet.
- 1:01:06I'm not even going to say because they're absolutely out
- 1:01:07of their minds if they think Van Vleet is worth any of the pieces
- 1:01:11they were offering. I mean, does Oklahoma City
- 1:01:18really scare you next year? No.
- 1:01:21Do the Houston Rockets kind of scare you for next year?
- 1:01:25No, not a chance. OK.
- 1:01:27I always say on my show, to beat the Champs, you have to unseat
- 1:01:30the Champs. Somebody's going to unseat OKC
- 1:01:34and unfortunately, in my eyes they're going to be a one hit
- 1:01:37wonder. And I have to borrow a phrase of
- 1:01:39yours, the LJA for the NBAI got to start using that on my show.
- 1:01:43That is a classic. I got to use that.
- 1:01:46Brian, you. Are you are the you are the
- 1:01:47number one critic of LeBron James for like the last season
- 1:01:51you've called the show 6 years ago as.
- 1:01:53Long as you have listened to me on the air, which now for seven
- 1:01:57years, you know I do not. And it's not being critical of
- 1:02:02LeBron alone. I give you this.
- 1:02:05Word in kindness. It's these bronze sexuals that
- 1:02:08listen me off. The best 1 was like 3 years ago
- 1:02:13when I, I, I, I found on your Facebook, you posted something
- 1:02:15about LeBron on your Facebook and one of the guys I don't
- 1:02:19know, I don't know the guy that he that commented he's like,
- 1:02:21where does LeBron rank in your top ten in NBA history?
- 1:02:24I'm like, where does LeBron rank in your top 50 in NBA history?
- 1:02:27And you said no where. That's where they.
- 1:02:31They try to get me every. They try to get me every time
- 1:02:35with these LeBron James posts, you know?
- 1:02:38Oh, he's top ten. He's top 20.
- 1:02:41Are you? Out of your rabbit.
- 1:02:41Ass rat picking mind. I can tell you 10 forwards off
- 1:02:45the top of my head that played a better fundamentally sound
- 1:02:47forward that better that that are better than him.
- 1:02:51And I'll give you 2 names that really grate their nerves and I
- 1:02:55keep bringing them up just because they grate their nerves.
- 1:02:58One is Tom Chambers, the other is Jack Sikma.
- 1:03:02I bring those. 2 back man you're.
- 1:03:04Going back. I'm going.
- 1:03:06I know. Chambers, I don't.
- 1:03:07Know the other one I know. Both I know both players and
- 1:03:10they were great players, but I'm I'm going to tend to disagree
- 1:03:13with you as you know my thoughts to LeBron James.
- 1:03:16I think he's the second greatest basketball player of all time.
- 1:03:19I just look at numbers and I know people are going to
- 1:03:21question numbers because of longevity, but you have to play
- 1:03:25and you have to last. And LeBron James has lasted and
- 1:03:28he's had the longevity. So I'm not going to take that
- 1:03:29away. But again, right, you could
- 1:03:31argue, I mean, a lot of people have argued LeBron James stature
- 1:03:34and where he states as one of the greatest basketball players
- 1:03:37of all time. But go ahead, I'm sorry to cut
- 1:03:39you off. You and I are going to be
- 1:03:42arguing for the rest of our lives as long as we remain
- 1:03:44friends, if we're going to, because this is the subject that
- 1:03:47makes us both laugh all the time, OK?
- 1:03:49That's why I love that. That's why I love doing it.
- 1:03:52That's exactly why I love doing it.
- 1:03:53And that's exactly why I love doing the show.
- 1:03:56But you're interviewing one of my favorite radio guys and Tim
- 1:03:59Roy. I had a chance to meet him in
- 1:04:01Chicago. Delightful, delightful person.
- 1:04:03I'm mad at you now. Why?
- 1:04:05What did I do? You got.
- 1:04:07Tim Roy on the air. I'll tell you what.
- 1:04:10I'm going to you listen to the interview and you'll hear what I
- 1:04:12said say to Tim, I'm going to get Tim to lock, lock in with
- 1:04:16you and get him on your show. How's that?
- 1:04:19You got it. And one of my other favorite
- 1:04:21announcers just retired Bill Schoning, longtime voice of the
- 1:04:24San Antonio Spurs. He's always been on my show
- 1:04:27saying something. If I bring you on this week or
- 1:04:30when I bring you on this week, man, save some of this LGA
- 1:04:32energy because I got to bring you on and clear about 30
- 1:04:36minutes and let you cut loose. Well, I might be cutting some
- 1:04:40cheese by the time that's over. Brian, if you're.
- 1:04:43Only going to give him 30 minutes.
- 1:04:44You might want to extend that if you're only going to.
- 1:04:46Thanks for. Having me on buddy, I appreciate
- 1:04:48you. Well, something's going to be
- 1:04:51cut it just hopefully it's not something By the way, some of
- 1:04:55the food that I ate on that cruise gave me the worst gas.
- 1:04:58Man. I was letting it go.
- 1:05:00Brittany was telling me in the room she's like go into the
- 1:05:03bathroom. I've never I've never heard so
- 1:05:06much so much or not even smelt it just heard so much gas come
- 1:05:10out of somebody as much as you. I don't know what was in it, but
- 1:05:13there was a lot of salt in the food and it just let.
- 1:05:16I was letting it go. It was everywhere.
- 1:05:18Was what I had a kid behind me and I was just I tried to
- 1:05:21squeeze the cheeks guys. He was like he was like linear
- 1:05:25from my ass and I just let one go.
- 1:05:28You should have saved it for all those like.
- 1:05:30Spoiled 15 year olds in the in the world.
- 1:05:31I'm just. I'm just telling you the truth.
- 1:05:33The truth is, and it's not, I'm not going to, I'm not going to
- 1:05:36beat around the Bush. Well, if I am beating around the
- 1:05:39Bush, it's doing something else in the bed.
- 1:05:41But nevertheless, I am just telling you that when I was
- 1:05:45walking, I was trying to squeeze the cheeks and this kid was
- 1:05:47behind me and I just let one go and he heard me by the way, it
- 1:05:50was, it was pretty loud. And Brittany just sat there.
- 1:05:53Well, she didn't sat. She walked in front of me
- 1:05:55laughing and smirking as I was moving through the hallway.
- 1:05:59But I unfortunately there is there are cruises that when you
- 1:06:03eat food, it makes your stomach not work.
- 1:06:05Look at Snowman. I'm sorry.
- 1:06:07I'm sorry to cut again. I'm sorry to cut you off or cut
- 1:06:10the cheese. He hung up already.
- 1:06:11Oh yeah, we lost him. That sucks.
- 1:06:13By the way, that was Snowman in the morning, go check his show
- 1:06:15out on our network and throughout all the different
- 1:06:18networks that he's on. He is sensational.
- 1:06:21He's one of the most talented broadcasters in the business.
- 1:06:24He really is. He doesn't get enough credit.
- 1:06:27He really is funny lay back really clever on his takes as
- 1:06:32you heard LeBron sexuals. He is very clever on his
- 1:06:37presentation when it comes to his show.
- 1:06:39So fantastic personality as always, but go ahead fish.
- 1:06:43I know you just popped right in and, you know, pop some cherries
- 1:06:46like Speedy always says, right? No.
- 1:06:49You say pop cherries? I have no idea what the hell
- 1:06:51that even means. Well, Errol?
- 1:06:54While you were gone had a great guest on you know before we get
- 1:06:57up to our next guest, Frank Luna who offered this great all
- 1:07:01inclusive with for him and a lady that he either brings or
- 1:07:06finds in the VP free tab. Jabba agreed to give him the
- 1:07:12room for the night. And then we got to go down to
- 1:07:17the shore. And this is at the Stone Pony
- 1:07:20where they have their concert series.
- 1:07:21So you get to have like, a rock show too.
- 1:07:22Speedy, Speedy, get laid. That's what we're talking about
- 1:07:27here. And Speedy, in case you were
- 1:07:29wondering, that's what pop and cherries means.
- 1:07:32There's a better. Shot of Brian Snow putting
- 1:07:34LeBron in his top 20 than that happened.
- 1:07:37Just trying to. Bring it full circle for you.
- 1:07:41I don't. Know Speedy?
- 1:07:42I feel like that is a. That's like the perfect
- 1:07:44scenario. Your kind of music.
- 1:07:47Everything covered VIP. Where did this, where did this
- 1:07:52conversation come from? Actually, that's what I want to
- 1:07:55know. Where did that come from?
- 1:07:57The conversation come or start where Jabba says, hey, you know
- 1:08:01what, I'll pay for it. I think it was some reference.
- 1:08:04We were going back and forth about something and he's like,
- 1:08:07all right, I'll do this. And I was like, all right, if
- 1:08:09you take care of the tab, I'll take care of the room.
- 1:08:11I don't know. I don't know where it originated
- 1:08:13from, but it. It was a great interview.
- 1:08:15He was fantastic, Frank. It really was a great guest.
- 1:08:18I hope you guys got a chance to see.

- 1:09:14That's a whole nother story. And I'll tell you what happened.
- 1:09:16I. Thought you meant you like
- 1:09:17pooped your pants, no. I actually wasn't paying
- 1:09:21attention and the room was. I thought it was my room, but it
- 1:09:24was the other room on the other the the door before my room and
- 1:09:28I walked into the door and I went to the bathroom and I
- 1:09:31walked out and some girl was practically undressed.
