- 0:02Speaker 1: News breaks out in every show, Mark Simone on seven
- 0:07Speaker 1: to ten work, Hey.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Lots to get to this hour. You know a lot
- 0:17Speaker 2: of stuff is up there on that Amazon cloud. A
- 0:20Speaker 2: lot of business and all sorts of stuff operates through
- 0:23Speaker 2: that Amazon cloud. So there was a widespread disruption early
- 0:28Speaker 2: this morning of the Amazon Cloud computing service that took
- 0:32Speaker 2: out dozens of major airline services. Social media sites went
- 0:37Speaker 2: you know that Snapchat went out? Did you know there
- 0:40Speaker 2: still was a Snapchat? Do you know that somebody was
- 0:44Speaker 2: still using Snapchat Fortnite? Video games were disrupted. The Chat
- 0:49Speaker 2: app signal, which is that's used by a lot of
- 0:51Speaker 2: government officials, took three hours totally out and that slowly
- 0:58Speaker 2: started to recover and came back. Online outages included Snapchat fortnight,
- 1:05Speaker 2: the McDonald's app down detector. Well that's the problem. Everything,
- 1:13Speaker 2: you know, goes more and more and more digital. You
- 1:14Speaker 2: can knock got more stuff with one bad outage. So
- 1:19Speaker 2: the Mayor Oll Race, Hey, there was a Mayor Old debate.
- 1:22Speaker 2: Is this Saturday Night Live? Yeah, Saturday Night Live. You
- 1:26Speaker 2: know it was the first week on Saturday Night Live
- 1:28Speaker 2: where the opening sketch, the cold openers, they say not political.
- 1:33Speaker 2: It wasn't Trump bashing us the first time in years.
- 1:35Speaker 2: They didn't do any Trump bashing on it. But then
- 1:38Speaker 2: there's only two things anybody watches, that opening sketch and
- 1:41Speaker 2: then that fake newscast a weekend update. This is from
- 1:45Speaker 2: weekend update.
- 1:46Speaker 3: During the first New York mayoral debate Andrew Cuomo attacks
- 1:49Speaker 3: are on mom Donnie's saying.
- 1:50Speaker 2: That he once gave the finger to the Columbus Day statue,
- 1:55Speaker 2: whereas Cuomo snuck up behind the statue and grabbed about hips.
- 2:00Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:00Speaker 2: See, that's the thing. Even these Democrats can't stand Cuomo.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Remember he lost by a lot. He lost the Democratic primary.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Democrats rejected him in the primary. He's running as a
- 2:10Speaker 2: third party candidate now although we say running, but he's
- 2:14Speaker 2: not actively campaigning. There's been no there's no campaign headquartershed
- 2:19Speaker 2: He's taken like ten days off from the race. Now
- 2:21Speaker 2: here's Culomo right away.
- 2:23Speaker 3: First one hundred days in office, five thousand new police officers,
- 2:27Speaker 3: fifteen hundred in the subway. Number two, We're gonna start
- 2:30Speaker 3: construction on eighty thousand.
- 2:32Speaker 2: New affordable units.
- 2:33Speaker 3: The only way you're going to get the rents down
- 2:36Speaker 3: is by increasing the supply. That's what has happened.
- 2:38Speaker 5: We have been supplies rests on short term before you
- 2:41Speaker 5: start building.
- 2:42Speaker 3: You can't no now without a gimmick that comes back
- 2:46Speaker 3: and bite you in.
- 2:46Speaker 2: That took us later on. Yeah. See, he got all
- 2:49Speaker 2: kinds of plans. First hundred days, first one hundred day.
- 2:51Speaker 2: One of the reasons is he tends to leave office
- 2:54Speaker 2: early in disgrace. Last time mosing off the hat to
- 2:56Speaker 2: leave early in disgrace. So that's why the first hundred
- 2:58Speaker 2: days is important. Keep talking about this affordability problem, Housing affordability.
- 3:02Speaker 2: This is the problem. It's a crisis, big crisis, affordability.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Then why would you vote for the Democrats. They've been
- 3:09Speaker 2: running everything in New York for fifteen years. The mayor,
- 3:12Speaker 2: the governor, the legislature, the city council, everything is Democrat.
- 3:16Speaker 2: If they've created such a crisis, switch parties. That's enough.
- 3:21Speaker 2: President Trump, I think it's a joke. I looked at
- 3:24Speaker 2: the people.
- 3:24Speaker 5: They're not representative of this conjact.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Oh, he's talking about the No King's rally. I think
- 3:28Speaker 2: it's a joke. I looked at the people. If they're
- 3:30Speaker 2: not representative of this CONJAYT Yeah, it was mostly senior citizens.
- 3:34Speaker 2: It's the people in the nursing homes that survived Cuomo.
- 3:38Speaker 2: They were the ones out there with no kings stuff. Now,
- 3:43Speaker 2: Trump is not a Curtis fan. He does not like Curtis.
- 3:46Speaker 2: But remember on the radio for years, Remember Curtis had
- 3:49Speaker 2: like the number one morning show for twenty years and
- 3:52Speaker 2: he was bashing Trump all the time and Trump was listing.
- 3:55Speaker 2: So he hasn't forgotten that this is Trump on sleeweay.
- 3:58Speaker 5: Am I a big fan. This isn't exactly ideal where
- 4:02Speaker 5: he wants to make Gracie Mansion a home for the cats.
- 4:05Speaker 5: You know, Gracie Mansion is a magnificent home of Fiorello
- 4:10Speaker 5: LaGuardia and the great Mayor's Rudy Julien. Here, Rudy Giuliani
- 4:14Speaker 5: was the greatest mayor in the history of New York.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Well, if that's the case, Rudy is telling everybody to
- 4:20Speaker 2: vote for Curtis. Rudy is saying that Curtis will keep
- 4:24Speaker 2: going what he started. Rudy Giuliani has one thousand percent
- 4:28Speaker 2: endorsed Curtis. So now as far as sending the National
- 4:33Speaker 2: Guard or troops into cities into states, why that's awful.
- 4:36Speaker 2: It's unheard of Trump talking about using the Insurrection Act.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Why that's unheard of. That's ridiculous, that's unlawful. Well, if
- 4:45Speaker 2: you check the record, it's done all the time. Every
- 4:48Speaker 2: president has sent troops into cities and states. Every president
- 4:52Speaker 2: has used the Insurrection Act. It's done all the time.
- 4:57Speaker 2: You could just google it. How many president Google how
- 4:59Speaker 2: many presidents used the Insurrection Act. You'll get hundreds and
- 5:02Speaker 2: hundreds of answers. How many times as a president send
- 5:05Speaker 2: troops into a city or a state. You'll get hundreds
- 5:08Speaker 2: and hundreds and hundreds. You know, when Kennedy wanted it,
- 5:12Speaker 2: was having trouble with these schools in the South. They
- 5:14Speaker 2: wouldn't let black students in. Even the Southern governors would
- 5:18Speaker 2: stand in the doorways to block it. When Kennedy was fighting,
- 5:21Speaker 2: at one point he had to send seventy five thousand
- 5:25Speaker 2: troops into the Southern States military to get that done.
- 5:30Speaker 2: So it's done all the time. You can find almost
- 5:33Speaker 2: every president in a riot in all sorts of situations.
- 5:37Speaker 2: You remember the George Floyd riots, for the troops were
- 5:40Speaker 2: sent into many many cities in those cases. Here's Trump
- 5:44Speaker 2: on the Insurrection Act.
- 5:45Speaker 5: Don't forget I can use the Insurrection Act. Fifty percent
- 5:51Speaker 5: of the presidents almost have used that, and that's unquestioned power.
- 5:56Speaker 5: I choose not to. I'd rather do this, but I
- 5:59Speaker 5: met constantly by fake politicians, politicians that think that you know,
- 6:06Speaker 5: it's not like part of the radical left movement to
- 6:11Speaker 5: have safety. These cities have to be safe. Are cities
- 6:15Speaker 5: that are Democrats run exclusively just about our unsafe cities.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Yeah, so we'll see no Kings. I think they enjoyed themselves.
- 6:27Speaker 2: They get to give them something to do. These angry,
- 6:29Speaker 2: crazy left wingers, mostly senior citizens. They were out there
- 6:32Speaker 2: yelling and screaming and chanting, maybe you shood every week.
- 6:34Speaker 2: Let me give them something to do every week. Set
- 6:37Speaker 2: up like a No King's field where they can go
- 6:40Speaker 2: do this every week. They did it all over the place.
- 6:43Speaker 2: If you were out in the suburbs, you'd see it
- 6:44Speaker 2: in your town. Connecticut, there was a No King's rally
- 6:48Speaker 2: in Greenwich, Connecticut, where the governor himself Ned Lamont, left
- 6:51Speaker 2: wing Democrat, although very often a common sense Democrat, but
- 6:55Speaker 2: there he was leading the No Kings march. It was
- 6:59Speaker 2: quite something. It must have been I don't know, thirty people,
- 7:03Speaker 2: forty people. It was quite a march right in front
- 7:07Speaker 2: of Restoration Hardware. They're rh store. Lasted a couple hours,
- 7:12Speaker 2: then they went home. Hey you know Twitter. Of course,
- 7:15Speaker 2: you know Twitter X. When Elon Musk bought it and
- 7:21Speaker 2: he took away the censorship. Under the old owners, conservatives
- 7:25Speaker 2: were getting censored. They would what they call shadow ban you.
- 7:29Speaker 2: They make sure nobody saw your feed. I had that
- 7:32Speaker 2: happened to me. Everybody had it happened to them. And
- 7:34Speaker 2: then there was out and out censorship where they removed
- 7:37Speaker 2: people's accounts. The New York Post they took away their
- 7:40Speaker 2: account because the Post published the story about Hunter's laptop.
- 7:43Speaker 2: So they let me think about this. This is hard
- 7:45Speaker 2: to believe this kind of censorship could exist in America.
- 7:48Speaker 2: They literally took down band, took away the New York
- 7:53Speaker 2: Post Twitter account. Even President Trump, the actual president the
- 7:57Speaker 2: United States, they took away his Twitter account. This is
- 7:59Speaker 2: unbelopable censorship. So Elon Musk bought it and took away
- 8:03Speaker 2: the censorship, the bias, and made it fair balanced. Well,
- 8:08Speaker 2: this drove liberals nuts. They wanted no part of this,
- 8:12Speaker 2: so they went and formed their own Twitter. It's called
- 8:15Speaker 2: Blue Sky. Most of the left wing people, most of
- 8:17Speaker 2: the liberals. Most of the Democrats don't go on Twitter anymore.
- 8:20Speaker 2: They go on blue Sky. That's their version of Twitter,
- 8:24Speaker 2: left wing Twitter. So this will be interesting to watch
- 8:27Speaker 2: what happens here. President Trump this weekend for the first time,
- 8:31Speaker 2: opened an account on blue Sky and started tweeting on
- 8:35Speaker 2: blue Sky. He made his debut. He took some of
- 8:40Speaker 2: his best memes and clips and put him into a montage.
- 8:42Speaker 2: That was his opening. He wrote, what's up blue Sky?
- 8:46Speaker 2: We thought you might have missed some of our greatest hits,
- 8:48Speaker 2: so we put this together for you. Now this is
- 8:50Speaker 2: taunting liberals. It'll be interesting to see what blue Sky does.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Do they ban him, do they remove his account? Do
- 8:57Speaker 2: they shadow ban him? Which means they leave you there.
- 8:59Speaker 2: But they can fix the algorithm so your feed doesn't
- 9:03Speaker 2: go to anybody, So keep an eye on that. James
- 9:07Speaker 2: call Me. His defense will make their first motions today
- 9:11Speaker 2: in court. Looks like with John Bolton, they absolutely have
- 9:15Speaker 2: him convicted. If you look at all the evidence, it
- 9:17Speaker 2: looks like there's no way out of this for Bolton.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Looks like a very easy conviction. Call me, should be convicted,
- 9:25Speaker 2: but you never know. It's a smaller charge there may
- 9:28Speaker 2: be more charges coming against call me. He's a very
- 9:33Speaker 2: bizarre guy. You know, he's a former Communist. You've seen
- 9:36Speaker 2: that Rush Limbaugh clip that's going around the internet. Yeah,
- 9:40Speaker 2: he was actual, he became he called himself a Republican.
- 9:44Speaker 2: Now most people think he was never ever really a Republican.
- 9:47Speaker 2: He just declared himself a Republican at one point, but
- 9:50Speaker 2: that was so he could be in the Bush administration
- 9:53Speaker 2: and it was more for you know, for his job
- 9:58Speaker 2: prospects to become a Republican. At that time, Republicans were
- 10:02Speaker 2: in power, So he declared himself a Republican. But he
- 10:05Speaker 2: admits he was actually an active communist to member the
- 10:08Speaker 2: Communist Party. Same thing with James Clapper, you know, the
- 10:11Speaker 2: CIA director, And these are two guys that were responsible
- 10:14Speaker 2: for all the dirty, sleazy stuff that went on in
- 10:17Speaker 2: the Deep State. Clapper was an actual member of the
- 10:20Speaker 2: Communist Party. He admits he voted for the Communist candidate
- 10:23Speaker 2: for president, so Coby as well. They were both actual
- 10:27Speaker 2: members of the Communist Party. We're just goes to show
- 10:30Speaker 2: you we came a long way from Joe McCarthy used
- 10:32Speaker 2: to be. If you went to a meeting of the
- 10:34Speaker 2: Communist Party. You were banned from everything forever. Now you
- 10:37Speaker 2: can be an actual registered Communist like Comy or Clapper,
- 10:41Speaker 2: and then you become the FBI director of the CIA director.
- 10:44Speaker 2: So things have definitely changed. Government shutdown continues. I just
- 10:48Speaker 2: mentioned that because most people won't notice. The Democrats kept saying, well, right,
- 10:53Speaker 2: we can't do anything until the No Kings March. Well
- 10:56Speaker 2: they did the No Kings March. Let's see if they
- 10:58Speaker 2: make any progress this week. The New York Jets, should
- 11:02Speaker 2: they be allowed to continue to play? There's a debate
- 11:06Speaker 2: going on. Should the New York Jets just stop playing?
- 11:10Speaker 2: Give up? Nobody knows what to do. There's an actual movement.
- 11:15Speaker 2: The problem is Woody Johnson is a very nice guy
- 11:18Speaker 2: and does a lot of great things in the real world.
- 11:21Speaker 2: But he bought the New York Jets years ago, and
- 11:23Speaker 2: he is, without question, I think everybody agrees on this,
- 11:26Speaker 2: the single worst owner in the history of sports. Nobody
- 11:30Speaker 2: has been. There's never been an owner this bad. They
- 11:34Speaker 2: just lose every game this season. They're zero to seven.
- 11:38Speaker 2: There are people yelling and screaming in the sports world
- 11:40Speaker 2: that there should be some mechanism to remove a team
- 11:44Speaker 2: from its owner to force an owner out if he
- 11:48Speaker 2: really stinks as an owner, and it wouldn't be a
- 11:51Speaker 2: bad thing for Woody Johnson. I think he bought the team.
- 11:53Speaker 2: I think for I think it was six hundred or
- 11:56Speaker 2: seven hundred million, and they say now the team is
- 12:01Speaker 2: probably worth eight billion, possibly ten billion, So it'd be
- 12:06Speaker 2: a great deal for him to get out. Were people
- 12:08Speaker 2: were praying Trump would appoint him to something or make
- 12:12Speaker 2: him an ambassador, just to give him the hell out
- 12:13Speaker 2: of here. But that won't work either. Last time that happened,
- 12:16Speaker 2: his son took over and the Sun was just as
- 12:18Speaker 2: bad as an owner. But it's a total disaster, zero
- 12:21Speaker 2: and seven. They lose every game, doesn't matter. He said,
- 12:24Speaker 2: well maybe they should get some better players, doesn't matter.
- 12:27Speaker 2: Whoever they get, they ruin them. Remember Aaron Rodgers or
- 12:30Speaker 2: whoever they bring in, they ruin. It's it's just the
- 12:33Speaker 2: worst owner ever, the worst team ever. Hey, George Santos,
- 12:38Speaker 2: this was surprised to everybody. President Trump commuted his sentence.
- 12:41Speaker 2: A lot of people were pressuring him to do it. Santos.
- 12:45Speaker 2: He says, it's a nice guy. He's a cute guy. Santos.
- 12:48Speaker 2: He you know he lied in the race, he lied
- 12:52Speaker 2: about his resume, lied about everything well, so that Tim Waltz.
- 12:55Speaker 2: But and the problem was in the congressional race he
- 12:59Speaker 2: was in. He was up against a whole bunch of
- 13:01Speaker 2: amateurs who there was no real opposition, and they forgot
- 13:05Speaker 2: to do opposition research. They would have discovered these lives,
- 13:08Speaker 2: but they didn't until he got elected. Then people started
- 13:11Speaker 2: looking at him. But the bad part was he did
- 13:14Speaker 2: stuff where he defrauded people to get money out of them.
- 13:20Speaker 2: He did defraud people to get money. So that's the
- 13:22Speaker 2: criminal problem, and that's the criminal charge. But he went
- 13:25Speaker 2: through hell in prison for a month or two, a
- 13:27Speaker 2: couple of months, three months, I think, and apparently the
- 13:30Speaker 2: warden headed in for him and was really rough on him.
- 13:33Speaker 2: People were appealing to President Trump over and over, political people,
- 13:38Speaker 2: congress people, friends. Finally Trump decided the guy was being
- 13:43Speaker 2: traded treated in humanely in prison, so commuted his sentence. Now,
- 13:47Speaker 2: the other thing that got commuted, he did have to
- 13:50Speaker 2: pay a six hundred thousand dollars fine that got commuted
- 13:52Speaker 2: as well, So may have been a little over commuting there.
- 13:56Speaker 2: But here's George Santas. He got out of prison and.
- 13:59Speaker 4: Was I thank you to President Trump for clemency and
- 14:03Speaker 4: for having such an amazing will for second chances.
- 14:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:08Speaker 4: So I've made some poor choices in my life, but
- 14:11Speaker 4: nothing would warrant a insane, arbitrary sentence. But on top
- 14:16Speaker 4: of that, a sentence that no one else would have gotten,
- 14:19Speaker 4: a treatment that no one else would have gotten, forty
- 14:22Speaker 4: one days in isolation in the shoe.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Yeah, they put him on solitary for forty one days.
- 14:26Speaker 4: I understand people want to make this into a He's
- 14:30Speaker 4: getting away with it. I'm not getting away with it.
- 14:33Speaker 4: I was the first person to ever go to federal
- 14:36Speaker 4: prison for this type of civil FEC violation. These are
- 14:40Speaker 4: usually solved in penalties, and I don't want to focus
- 14:44Speaker 4: on trying to rehash the pass. I want to take
- 14:46Speaker 4: this experience and do good and move on with the future.
- 14:49Speaker 4: Repentance is an understatement. It's like I have been dealt
- 14:53Speaker 4: a second chance. I have a lot to prove to
- 14:57Speaker 4: a lot of people.
- 14:58Speaker 2: And I have to make sure.
- 15:00Speaker 4: And Trump understands that I am not going to disappoint him.
- 15:04Speaker 2: Now, he did, you know, the fraud people, and get
- 15:07Speaker 2: a lot of money, and he spent it on luxuries,
- 15:10Speaker 2: on clothes, on cars, on watches, all this stuff. But
- 15:15Speaker 2: he has been telling people after he got out of
- 15:17Speaker 2: prison now that it changed everything as far as wealth goes.
- 15:21Speaker 2: And he realized, you know, when you get out of prison,
- 15:23Speaker 2: he said, just to have your own toilet, just to
- 15:26Speaker 2: have your own bathroom, to be able to go to
- 15:27Speaker 2: the bathroom in private and closed doors, to have your
- 15:30Speaker 2: own shower and do it privately, and to have eat
- 15:33Speaker 2: actual real food instead of the worst food in the world.
- 15:38Speaker 2: To be able to, you know, go to bed when
- 15:40Speaker 2: you want. And he said, they realized that's the real wealth.
- 15:45Speaker 2: It changed everything. He no longer cares about the material
- 15:48Speaker 2: luxuries that he understands what real wealth is. Have your family,
- 15:51Speaker 2: your friends with you. So it's an interesting lesson for
- 15:55Speaker 2: everybody to remember. Hey, we'll take some calls in a moment.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten is the number.
- 16:01Speaker 2: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten
