Transcript
- 0:06Speaker 1: Hello, beautiful people. It is La La Kent with my
- 0:09Speaker 1: right hand and my brain. Jessica Walter. Hello everybody, dude,
- 0:16Speaker 1: we got Brock on the podcast today.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Very exciting.
- 0:19Speaker 1: We're pre recording.
- 0:20Speaker 2: That's just a few days because when this airs, where
- 0:22Speaker 2: will you be.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Lalla, I'll be in Mexico. We're Brock and Sheena's wedding.
- 0:27Speaker 2: That's really exciting.
- 0:28Speaker 1: It's exciting. I'm so happy for them. You know, you
- 0:32Speaker 1: know how I feel about just marriage, and I did.
- 0:35Speaker 1: I did, But you know what, I am totally happy
- 0:38Speaker 1: to go and celebrate love. Yeah, so that is and
- 0:43Speaker 1: I can't wait to see Summer Moon. There's just nothing
- 0:47Speaker 1: sweeter than, you know, two people just acknowledging the love
- 0:52Speaker 1: they have. Yeah, and like making a commitment before. I mean,
- 0:57Speaker 1: in my mind it's going this way, making a commitment
- 0:59Speaker 1: before go in this little human being that's a part
- 1:02Speaker 1: of both of them, goose beautifully. I'm like, fuck marriage.
- 1:11Speaker 2: No, that's so exciting.
- 1:12Speaker 1: I can't wait to see.
- 1:13Speaker 2: Well, I'm just like, I'm gonna look at all the
- 1:14Speaker 2: stories and see what everyone wears. I'm dying to see
- 1:17Speaker 2: Sheena's dress.
- 1:19Speaker 1: I am too. Do you know what you're wearing. No,
- 1:22Speaker 1: I'm actually gonna leave doing this podcast, and I need
- 1:25Speaker 1: to go shopping. I need to go shopping for Mexico. Yeah.
- 1:29Speaker 1: All right, So you know how I took Ocean to
- 1:31Speaker 1: Newport Beach. Yes, So we were staying in a hotel
- 1:35Speaker 1: room and there was the pack and play that I
- 1:37Speaker 1: put her in, and you know, she's very easy, like
- 1:39Speaker 1: she's kind of just adjusted to the way things are
- 1:42Speaker 1: because it's been an adjustment from the time she was
- 1:44Speaker 1: seven months. So like I can leave the TV on
- 1:47Speaker 1: and have her in the same room as me and
- 1:48Speaker 1: she'll go to sleep, right. Yeah, But this night, Gigi
- 1:52Speaker 1: was getting her super highee and she was like putting
- 1:55Speaker 1: hats on, rolling around, and everybody in there commented and
- 2:01Speaker 1: they were like, you need a slumber pod. So I'm like,
- 2:04Speaker 1: what is this slumber pod? Yeah? I look it up.
- 2:07Speaker 1: It's like a full on like pod, like a tent,
- 2:11Speaker 1: okay for your baby.
- 2:13Speaker 2: That you take on trips. Yes, And it's just like
- 2:17Speaker 2: they sleep in there.
- 2:18Speaker 1: They sleep in there. I mean, I'm gonna show you
- 2:20Speaker 1: a picture, but I'm telling you what it was like,
- 2:22Speaker 1: one message after the other saying you need a slumber pod.
- 2:26Speaker 1: So now I'm going to look into just getting one,
- 2:29Speaker 1: because slumber pod, I mean I kind of want to
- 2:32Speaker 1: get in it. Let me say, oh, this is so cool.
- 2:36Speaker 2: It legit looks like a tent to google it. Yeah,
- 2:38Speaker 2: it looks like a tent.
- 2:40Speaker 1: You know what.
- 2:41Speaker 2: I'm looking at those those little things that bend. That's
- 2:43Speaker 2: probably hard to set up too, just like a tent.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Do you really think a tent setting up a tent?
- 2:49Speaker 2: I have tried so many times and failed every wee.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Well, it came highly recommended. So if any of my
- 2:55Speaker 1: moms out there have a slumber pod, just is saying,
- 2:59Speaker 1: it looks very complex.
- 3:01Speaker 2: It looks like a ten, you guys, it looks like
- 3:02Speaker 2: those Well.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Look at what you do? You put it over the
- 3:05Speaker 1: pack and play.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Oh maybe it just folds then.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Maybe it does. I don't know, but I think I
- 3:10Speaker 1: might get one, and it looks like it's easy to pack. Anyway,
- 3:14Speaker 1: that happened, And also a lot of people asking me
- 3:17Speaker 1: how ocean sleeps through the night. They're like, I have
- 3:20Speaker 1: I went through my DMS today and it was like
- 3:23Speaker 1: one after the other, slumber pod, How does ocean sleep
- 3:27Speaker 1: through the night. I don't know how I got that
- 3:30Speaker 1: to happen. My friend's kids usually wake up in the
- 3:33Speaker 1: middle of the night. Ocean has slept through the night
- 3:36Speaker 1: since I want to say, like six months. Really, yeah,
- 3:40Speaker 1: because I did sleep train, and.
- 3:41Speaker 2: That's what I was gonna ask.
- 3:43Speaker 1: I did, okay, And obviously as a mom, you know
- 3:47Speaker 1: your kids cry. You know when they're fussy and they
- 3:49Speaker 1: just need to self soothe. You know when something is wrong,
- 3:52Speaker 1: you know when it's a diaper change. So when I
- 3:55Speaker 1: would put her in there, and it was hard because
- 3:57Speaker 1: you hear your kid fuss and you want to go
- 3:59Speaker 1: in and cuddle and protect them. But I also know
- 4:01Speaker 1: that it can become a nightmare. You know. I slept
- 4:04Speaker 1: in my parents, But until I was.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Like twelve, you did, Yes, why I was just terrified
- 4:09Speaker 2: of everything.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Of everything was Easton the same way. No, really, he
- 4:14Speaker 1: was a champion child. So that's why I was like,
- 4:16Speaker 1: I'm gonna sleep train even though it is hard, I
- 4:18Speaker 1: feel like it'll be worth it. And I'll tell you what.
- 4:22Speaker 1: I put her down between seven and eight. That chick
- 4:25Speaker 1: knocks out. She woke up today at like nine thirty.
- 4:29Speaker 2: She's so healthy. It seems every time I see her
- 4:32Speaker 2: she's had Because I've nanny before I've mentioned that on
- 4:35Speaker 2: the podcast, and sometimes I would come in and the
- 4:37Speaker 2: babies would be like they looked exhausted. Yeah, and all
- 4:40Speaker 2: day they'd be lethargic, and I'm like, what is going on?
- 4:43Speaker 2: And I bet it's cause I mean they woke up
- 4:45Speaker 2: throughout the night and you can tell she gets a
- 4:47Speaker 2: lot of sleep.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Oh yeah, Yeah, she's revived.
- 4:50Speaker 2: She's a revived.
- 4:51Speaker 1: You know, she had like a long day the day
- 4:53Speaker 1: before because she was elsewhere at the La Zoo, which
- 4:57Speaker 1: literally killed me. Everyone knows how I am with an
- 5:00Speaker 1: animals deep dive into certain zoos.
- 5:02Speaker 2: She went to the La Zoo, So the La Zoo
- 5:04Speaker 2: is not a one that we support.
- 5:06Speaker 1: I've never done to me. Love that she was there, okay,
- 5:09Speaker 1: but I was like great, just having fun.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Yeah yeah yeah, I have to personally, this is just
- 5:20Speaker 2: me I have to do. I haven't been to a
- 5:22Speaker 2: zoos since I was like thirteen. But I have to
- 5:24Speaker 2: do the research because if they're not one of the
- 5:26Speaker 2: good zoos, nope, I want them to shut down, yeah
- 5:30Speaker 2: and hand over their animals to one of the good ones.
- 5:33Speaker 3: I know.
- 5:34Speaker 1: There's so much wrong with this world, like the you know,
- 5:38Speaker 1: we posted about the carriages in New York and then
- 5:42Speaker 1: now it's like, yeah, yeah, the horse rider and now
- 5:46Speaker 1: showing where they stay.
- 5:47Speaker 2: And I regret now not saying something because in New
- 5:50Speaker 2: York I was like, it's sick, it's disgusting. And now
- 5:53Speaker 2: I regret not shaming the people on them, you know,
- 5:57Speaker 2: who were going on them. I know now I like,
- 6:00Speaker 2: I have been texting my best friend from home who
- 6:02Speaker 2: lives in New York, and I'm like, when can we
- 6:04Speaker 2: set up a protest, like we need to be shaming
- 6:07Speaker 2: everyone who's paying for this.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Like they're protesting right now. And we go to Bravocon
- 6:13Speaker 1: in New York in October and I think I may
- 6:15Speaker 1: roll up.
- 6:16Speaker 2: Oh, I'll go with you and shame all of them,
- 6:19Speaker 2: Shame all them way up, y'all. I'll hold like, hold
- 6:22Speaker 2: pictures or hold posters of the facts how many horses
- 6:26Speaker 2: die per year from the carriage rides.
- 6:29Speaker 1: And that fucking like whatever they call the guy the loser,
- 6:34Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I'll say, get the horse up. I wanted
- 6:36Speaker 1: to fuck him up so bad. I'm not violent, but
- 6:40Speaker 1: I was like, you stupid piece of shit. Yep, this
- 6:44Speaker 1: poor animal with no voice, and this is how you're
- 6:48Speaker 1: treating it.
- 6:48Speaker 2: Taking the whip, get up, get up, and I wanted to.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Wiss his act.
- 6:52Speaker 2: He's discussed his and the horse was already skin and bones.
- 6:57Speaker 2: I know, already abuse.
- 6:58Speaker 1: No, it makes me say, go to my Instagram, sign
- 7:00Speaker 1: the petitions that I'll be posting. Please. I will not
- 7:03Speaker 1: let up. I will continue to be the crazy person
- 7:05Speaker 1: that trolls anyone who goes to a zoo and doesn't
- 7:08Speaker 1: do research, anyone who goes on these horse and carriage rides,
- 7:12Speaker 1: anyone who goes to Sea World, I turn into an
- 7:15Speaker 1: Instagram troll. Educate yourself.
- 7:18Speaker 2: And I can't stress enough you guys, with the research
- 7:21Speaker 2: I've done, how there is no because I've so many
- 7:24Speaker 2: people dm to me and they go, well, my town
- 7:27Speaker 2: does it in Christmas. But it's okay, No, No, do
- 7:29Speaker 2: the research, your basic bitch ass wedding with your horse
- 7:32Speaker 2: and carriage when you're like you and your husband, oh
- 7:34Speaker 2: because you want to be Disney princess.
- 7:36Speaker 1: For the day. God, none of it's okay. Judging you,
- 7:40Speaker 1: judging you so hardcore. The other thing I want to
- 7:44Speaker 1: talk about before we go into the Brock episode, which
- 7:47Speaker 1: I'm excited for, is I feel like I'm cheating on
- 7:50Speaker 1: housewives because I have become addicted to Jersey Shore. I
- 7:53Speaker 1: can't stop. I cannot stop. And now my mom is
- 7:58Speaker 1: also very invested in Ron Sammy and I'm like, they
- 8:01Speaker 1: don't end up together. Mom, This was like two thousand
- 8:03Speaker 1: and eight or nine. They don't end up together. And
- 8:06Speaker 1: she's like, well why, and I'm like, you'll see just
- 8:09Speaker 1: I love Sammy.
- 8:10Speaker 2: Also, you said you would take Polly D to the
- 8:13Speaker 2: smushroom or smash room whatever back in.
- 8:15Speaker 1: The Vinnie Vinnie's very sweet. But I think Polly D
- 8:20Speaker 1: the Jersey Shore is so funny.
- 8:23Speaker 2: The hair I couldn't get fast.
- 8:24Speaker 1: The hair, Oh, the hair makes it him walking around
- 8:28Speaker 1: saying caves here, yeah, shirt time. The whole thing is
- 8:32Speaker 1: like everything's working. I don't know why, but it's working
- 8:36Speaker 1: for me. That's funny.
- 8:37Speaker 2: Do you watch the Jersey short the ones that are
- 8:40Speaker 2: out now?
- 8:40Speaker 1: No, because I started on season one and then I'll
- 8:43Speaker 1: maneuver my way into family vacation, family vacation. Oh I
- 8:47Speaker 1: called it family reunion. Okay, maybe it is family. I
- 8:50Speaker 1: think it's vacation. Who knows. All I know is it's amazing.
- 8:53Speaker 1: I haven't watched Housewives in like an entire week, and
- 8:57Speaker 1: I feel so good. You'll get back to it. Get
- 9:00Speaker 1: back to it anyway. We're gonna take a quick little
- 9:02Speaker 1: break and we will be back with she is baby daddy, she.
- 9:06Speaker 2: Is baby daddy, and now husband when this comes out,
- 9:10Speaker 2: maybe yes, congratulations husband.
- 9:15Speaker 1: All right, we'll be right back. Welcome back. We have
- 9:22Speaker 1: my boy where every time he arrives and go croiky.
- 9:28Speaker 3: Welsh baby. How are we doing?
- 9:30Speaker 1: We're good? How are you?
- 9:31Speaker 3: I mean, it's been good. It's been a good day.
- 9:33Speaker 3: A little stressed out with the timing of everything coming up,
- 9:36Speaker 3: but super excited. To be honest, we just had to
- 9:39Speaker 3: cancel flights and read books all the flights.
- 9:40Speaker 1: So no, Sheina texted me this morning and said, I
- 9:43Speaker 1: need to know what flight you're on. We booked our
- 9:45Speaker 1: flights in April and now they've completely switched it up.
- 9:48Speaker 1: They have us doing layovers.
- 9:49Speaker 3: And then we were gone to Houston with a warning
- 9:53Speaker 3: this morning that your flat might be canceled delayed because
- 9:56Speaker 3: of storms. And so I was like, honey, we can't
- 9:58Speaker 3: do that flat. So now so looked at and we
- 10:00Speaker 3: actually jumped on the next day. We'll lose like six
- 10:02Speaker 3: hours about it works out better for summer. Everybody trying
- 10:05Speaker 3: flying out there.
- 10:06Speaker 2: So are you flying with summer? Is she flying on
- 10:08Speaker 2: a separate fly?
- 10:09Speaker 3: Look? Some is flying straight with us. She's been a
- 10:12Speaker 3: good fly. We've taken her to Hawaii once with anything
- 10:15Speaker 3: I say this, I'll say this before, but she slipped
- 10:17Speaker 3: in me, my arms, the whole fly, so we got
- 10:20Speaker 3: all easy with that one. Now her nap schedules two hours,
- 10:22Speaker 3: so the flights are around ten, so hopefully we'll be fine.
- 10:25Speaker 3: Knock her right out, knock around, she'll take a nap,
- 10:27Speaker 3: and if she doesn't, let's well, I'm here for it.
- 10:30Speaker 3: Let's see what happens.
- 10:31Speaker 1: You know what I've Ocean has always been kind of
- 10:34Speaker 1: on my schedule. There are days where it's like we're
- 10:37Speaker 1: home and she gets a nap in like a regular schedule.
- 10:41Speaker 1: And other days I'm like, you either have to take
- 10:44Speaker 1: a nap on the beach because it's party time, or
- 10:46Speaker 1: like you're not going to get a nap. And I'm
- 10:49Speaker 1: in a different situation because my kid is bounced back
- 10:52Speaker 1: and forth, she's constantly seeing new faces. It's like very much,
- 10:55Speaker 1: it's I don't want to say chaotic, but she kind
- 10:57Speaker 1: of has had to adjust from the age of seven
- 10:59Speaker 1: months right, Yeah, she goes over to the other house.
- 11:02Speaker 1: She's got different bottles. She goes over to the other house,
- 11:05Speaker 1: She's got everything is different. So she kind of is
- 11:08Speaker 1: just like very flexible. Yeah.
- 11:10Speaker 3: I mean when you came down to San Diego. I honestly,
- 11:12Speaker 3: when you put her to bed and walked out and
- 11:14Speaker 3: I'm there with Summer, I was just kind of like,
- 11:16Speaker 3: would she asleep? Wait?
- 11:17Speaker 2: What do you do?
- 11:18Speaker 1: Do you have to rock Summer to see?
- 11:19Speaker 3: So we were we were we were giving it a
- 11:21Speaker 3: love good and then like ideally you'd like to make
- 11:24Speaker 3: them feel sleepy and put them in their crib with
- 11:27Speaker 3: their eyes kind of like doing doing the gaze yea,
- 11:29Speaker 3: the glaze over. But yeah, we never made she was
- 11:32Speaker 3: just asleep and this is nice, but it'll be like
- 11:34Speaker 3: thirty to forty five minute time period. So when Lala
- 11:37Speaker 3: visited with Ocean and her mom, now, yeah, bedtime. I
- 11:40Speaker 3: come on girls, bedtime, I take Summer up. I see
- 11:42Speaker 3: them go into the into the room, into the back room,
- 11:44Speaker 3: and then they just walked back out. I was just like,
- 11:46Speaker 3: that was like a minute, and then I was like
- 11:49Speaker 3: I was just in my head contemplating life at that
- 11:51Speaker 3: point as a parent. I was like, damn, I to
- 11:53Speaker 3: step this one up.
- 11:54Speaker 1: But then because you are like Summer's used to falling
- 11:58Speaker 1: asleep in your arms. I'm telling you what me taking
- 12:00Speaker 1: a long flight with Ocean would be a nightmare because
- 12:04Speaker 1: she when she's done, wants her bed, her bubba. She
- 12:07Speaker 1: doesn't want you know, Yeah, that's just what she wants.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Like she made doze off for a second. But a
- 12:12Speaker 1: five hour flight nightmare? Yeah, sure of it. Just going
- 12:19Speaker 1: to Utah hour and thirty.
- 12:20Speaker 3: I was like, how was so you have flying with
- 12:25Speaker 3: her on the show? Flights two hours? Three hours?
- 12:27Speaker 1: She wants to sing, she wants to run around.
- 12:30Speaker 2: She was a lot younger though, right or.
- 12:33Speaker 1: No, No, she was younger. I'm sure we may be
- 12:36Speaker 1: okay now, but you guys got your flight situated. I
- 12:38Speaker 1: mean you're the most important. Without you guys there we're
- 12:41Speaker 1: just there watching nothing. Really, I'll see we're going for you.
- 12:47Speaker 1: Don't get it twisted. I'm excited. Yes.
- 12:49Speaker 3: Fun.
- 12:50Speaker 2: Everyone who doesn't know Rock and Sheena are we can
- 12:53Speaker 2: say that's right.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Getting married.
- 12:54Speaker 3: Yeah, it was a secret. We've been married since I've
- 12:59Speaker 3: been together. I feel like like you asked it, what's
- 13:01Speaker 3: going to change?
- 13:02Speaker 1: Yeah? I think nothing do you think the way you
- 13:04Speaker 1: look at her is going to change? I mean, like,
- 13:08Speaker 1: did you look at her differently when she became the
- 13:09Speaker 1: mother of your child?
- 13:10Speaker 3: Yes, because because it was it was like I got
- 13:13Speaker 3: I saw her struggling as a parent sometimes and then
- 13:16Speaker 3: like stepping up as a parent. So it's just like
- 13:18Speaker 3: I see her go through painful and I see her
- 13:20Speaker 3: like grow from it, and then there I find those
- 13:23Speaker 3: messages there so one hundred percent more respect and even
- 13:26Speaker 3: like today, like when we have our when I say
- 13:27Speaker 3: my tits, we have our tit for tats. If I
- 13:30Speaker 3: say something that like I normally would say which would
- 13:32Speaker 3: be offended upset her, I generally would just let it
- 13:35Speaker 3: rock and roll and be like okay. But like immediately
- 13:37Speaker 3: once I said it, I knew I shouldn't say those
- 13:38Speaker 3: things to her. I knew it hurt her. So I
- 13:40Speaker 3: went up and again her a big hard. I was like,
- 13:41Speaker 3: that was stupid to me to say that I'm in
- 13:43Speaker 3: the wrong, And I mean I normally no, I put
- 13:46Speaker 3: my foot in my mouth all the time, but I
- 13:48Speaker 3: was glad, like for her, I can catch myself, and
- 13:50Speaker 3: I was glad I can get into that because it
- 13:52Speaker 3: was just a lesson learned, like I don't want to
- 13:53Speaker 3: hurt her, upset her, and then like the stuff she
- 13:57Speaker 3: goes through already, like you guys are seeing it for
- 13:59Speaker 3: ten years. I'm like that, That's why I get really reactive,
- 14:02Speaker 3: right see, anyway I can do it with her. I
- 14:04Speaker 3: want to react and save the world from her now
- 14:06Speaker 3: and it gets me in trouble. You know, here we are.
- 14:09Speaker 3: But now, when we first came onto the scene, it
- 14:11Speaker 3: definitely rocked the boat of how I was really kind
- 14:15Speaker 3: of just like short with my words shooting from their hip.
- 14:18Speaker 3: And so I definitely need to learn that. And I
- 14:20Speaker 3: think it's a lesson for everyone to see, especially once
- 14:22Speaker 3: you see yourself on TV. Guys.
- 14:23Speaker 1: It's like the perfect mirror.
- 14:25Speaker 3: It's just like no one wants to see that. They're like,
- 14:27Speaker 3: did I say that? I didn't do that? Did I?
- 14:28Speaker 3: But you did? You did? And you got to look
- 14:30Speaker 3: at it and then you think about it, say here
- 14:32Speaker 3: we are.
- 14:33Speaker 1: And then you do it and you've got to deal
- 14:36Speaker 1: with the guilt and all that, and then relive it
- 14:38Speaker 1: however many months later where you're like God and we've
- 14:41Speaker 1: all moved past it. But then you get to see
- 14:42Speaker 1: what everyone said about you and then you're just triggered
- 14:45Speaker 1: it all over again.
- 14:46Speaker 2: I can't imagine.
- 14:48Speaker 1: So let's talk about this a lot of people. Well,
- 14:51Speaker 1: the last time people saw you and I together was
- 14:55Speaker 1: last year at the reunion, all right, and I initial
- 15:00Speaker 1: he reached out to you, Brock and said, I want
- 15:02Speaker 1: to do a podcast episode where we can squash the
- 15:04Speaker 1: beef basically, and even though you and I have done that,
- 15:08Speaker 1: I also want to create a safe space for you
- 15:12Speaker 1: to kind of let people see who you are because
- 15:16Speaker 1: I've had the luxury of getting to know you over
- 15:17Speaker 1: the past what has it been eight months? Ten months?
- 15:22Speaker 1: And you are number one. Let's talk about the cooking.
- 15:26Speaker 1: He's a terrific all right, you're a cook, You're a chef,
- 15:30Speaker 1: so bombed a chef Burgers, No, it is bomb so
- 15:34Speaker 1: like that stole my heart as well as seeing him
- 15:37Speaker 1: with his daughter, seeing him with Sheena. But what was
- 15:41Speaker 1: what was last year like for you?
- 15:44Speaker 3: It was a roller coaster and you can say that
- 15:46Speaker 3: in the actual literal term of like there were so
- 15:48Speaker 3: many highs, there were so many lives and at the
- 15:53Speaker 3: end of the ride, you're kind of like left like
- 15:54Speaker 3: this scene there, like what just what was that you know,
- 15:56Speaker 3: especially when you I thought so much, I had so
- 15:58Speaker 3: many values of myself. I have so many like standards
- 16:01Speaker 3: that you set for yourself, and then when you get
- 16:05Speaker 3: when you see yourself back on TV, when you go
- 16:06Speaker 3: through all these experiences of for everybody, I couldn't be
- 16:09Speaker 3: prepared for that, you know. I thought I'd handle it
- 16:12Speaker 3: in the most appropriate way throughout the season where I
- 16:14Speaker 3: just turned around and I spoke about my truths and
- 16:17Speaker 3: I left it at that. And that was the hardest part,
- 16:19Speaker 3: was realizing I actually have to talk about this in public,
- 16:22Speaker 3: because before we ever had any conversations like this, and
- 16:27Speaker 3: when we even spoke about it, when the first started
- 16:29Speaker 3: talking about my kids, it was on me. I spoke
- 16:31Speaker 3: about it with Randall, yourself and Shina when we were
- 16:34Speaker 3: out in Pump Springs, and at that point in time,
- 16:37Speaker 3: I felt and I felt like, oh, this, it's just
- 16:39Speaker 3: like I wanted to address the elephant and room like
- 16:41Speaker 3: I do have my two kids and I've never been
- 16:43Speaker 3: I'm never ashamed of him. I'm not any of that,
- 16:45Speaker 3: and then try and hide that I was more ashamed
- 16:47Speaker 3: of kind of my actions towards how I ended up
- 16:49Speaker 3: in my situation. And I guess I never really spoke
- 16:53Speaker 3: about that because who I don't. You know, it's a
- 16:57Speaker 3: hard thing to talk about.
- 16:58Speaker 1: It's a hard thing to talk about and all. So
- 17:00Speaker 1: it's such a private and delicate topic that you only
- 17:04Speaker 1: want to speak about that in a safe environment, you know. Yeah,
- 17:09Speaker 1: and thanks to me, I just I was like, safe
- 17:11Speaker 1: environment means the world?
- 17:15Speaker 2: Did you think of that though, Brock, I'm curious as
- 17:18Speaker 2: a viewer, you're bringing up your kids. Did you think
- 17:22Speaker 2: this isn't necessarily yeah, right now it's just a couple
- 17:25Speaker 2: of us, but it's not going to be within a
- 17:28Speaker 2: few months.
- 17:28Speaker 3: You know. That was where I get I'm very not
- 17:31Speaker 3: naive in the situation of the show. I really felt
- 17:34Speaker 3: like that is a part of my life. I'm not
- 17:36Speaker 3: ashamed of my past. I wish I could have done
- 17:39Speaker 3: things differently, but that was a part of That's a chapter,
- 17:41Speaker 3: a big part of my life. And so when we started,
- 17:44Speaker 3: when we started talking about it, I was like, now
- 17:47Speaker 3: we'll keep it up. I don't want to talk about it, like,
- 17:48Speaker 3: let's try and avoid. But that was for my own
- 17:50Speaker 3: protect that was for everyone. But you know what I mean,
- 17:52Speaker 3: I didn't know why I wanted not to talk about
- 17:54Speaker 3: it because there was something there. Well, for the biggest
- 17:57Speaker 3: one was because my ex was never going to approve
- 17:59Speaker 3: of us in a conversation about it then now different story,
- 18:03Speaker 3: but then it was kind of like we weren't even talking,
- 18:05Speaker 3: and so to kind of have the conversation about my
- 18:08Speaker 3: ex how they feel about the kids, I always felt
- 18:11Speaker 3: like I was never entitled to have those conversations, and
- 18:14Speaker 3: so when when I was briefly talking about the kids,
- 18:17Speaker 3: I'm like, yeah, we don't see each other. I really
- 18:18Speaker 3: wanted to kind of like set the standard, like I
- 18:21Speaker 3: understand a separation and a new partner with a kid.
- 18:24Speaker 3: With Lala and Randall when we had this conversation. Now,
- 18:26Speaker 3: I think that was kind of the environment I was in.
- 18:29Speaker 3: I forgot that this is the show that you guys have.
- 18:32Speaker 3: It's just like such an imprint on people and people
- 18:35Speaker 3: in print to every one of you, yourself, to La La,
- 18:37Speaker 3: to even all the cast members. People find they find
- 18:41Speaker 3: their people within you when you watch the show. And
- 18:44Speaker 3: so the biggest one was like the aftermath of once
- 18:47Speaker 3: the stuff started coming out was kind of like, wow,
- 18:50Speaker 3: the impact that I had on many people positive and negative,
- 18:54Speaker 3: but you always read the negative, right, and so that
- 18:56Speaker 3: negative it always gets there. I was, yeah, that was Greenhorn,
- 19:02Speaker 3: but I just didn't expect that, you know, that was
- 19:04Speaker 3: the biggest one.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Did Sheina warn you like before going into this situation,
- 19:09Speaker 1: because you know she and I've always said, has one
- 19:12Speaker 1: of the best hearts in the entire world. Sometimes Sheena
- 19:15Speaker 1: goes into things and she leads with her heart and
- 19:20Speaker 1: doesn't think about because it's not natural. It's not natural
- 19:25Speaker 1: to think about what everyone is going to think that's
- 19:28Speaker 1: watching because in real life we just live. Yes, right,
- 19:32Speaker 1: we're not worried about what Catherine in freaking South Dakota
- 19:36Speaker 1: thinks because who the fuck is she? But guess what,
- 19:39Speaker 1: Catherine from South Dakota got an opinion and she's gonna
- 19:41Speaker 1: be sliding into your dms, riding on every freaking ig blog.
- 19:46Speaker 1: You don't think about that stuff. Did she say to
- 19:48Speaker 1: you the internet is a crazy place. I need to
- 19:50Speaker 1: know what's going on with you and your situation because
- 19:53Speaker 1: it could very well be brought up on camera, and
- 19:55Speaker 1: we got to be prepared.
- 19:56Speaker 3: Yeah, she was definitely up. We didn't have that conversation
- 20:00Speaker 3: in detail, but it was more of like, I know,
- 20:02Speaker 3: you don't want to talk about your kids, so don't
- 20:03Speaker 3: talk about them. And I was like, okay, cool. And
- 20:05Speaker 3: then so here we are in Palm Springs and I'm like,
- 20:09Speaker 3: oh yeah, I get it, and we talked about it,
- 20:10Speaker 3: and I was like, all right, look like I didn't
- 20:13Speaker 3: want to continue this conversation. But then obviously from that
- 20:16Speaker 3: it brought up concerns for yourself, it brought up other
- 20:19Speaker 3: people's concerns, and so I understand now looking back, people
- 20:23Speaker 3: still want to know that story. Regardless of how bad
- 20:26Speaker 3: it was or everyone's how it happened. People still now curious, like, Okay,
- 20:31Speaker 3: then what is that situation? Because they're invested into you guys,
- 20:33Speaker 3: and I didn't know that. I didn't realize the impact
- 20:36Speaker 3: you guys have on the world.
- 20:40Speaker 1: So do you feel comfortable in a cliff note version
- 20:45Speaker 1: talking about how old you were when you when you
- 20:48Speaker 1: had your first two kids and what led to where
- 20:51Speaker 1: you are today?
- 20:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean I could do it a cliff night version.
- 20:55Speaker 3: I was very young when we met. We were like
- 20:59Speaker 3: sixteen when we first met in the high school sixteen
- 21:01Speaker 3: seventeen sorry, and then and then through that we started dating.
- 21:05Speaker 3: Then we're off and nine we're doing the high school
- 21:07Speaker 3: breakup get back together stuff, and then we actually fully
- 21:10Speaker 3: split when I moved to Europe to play rugby. And
- 21:12Speaker 3: then when I was in Europe, I flew her over.
- 21:14Speaker 3: She had a boyfriend at the time. I was like, well,
- 21:16Speaker 3: here's a flight. She came over. We caught it quits.
- 21:19Speaker 3: I remember that day we said, look, we traveled around.
- 21:21Speaker 3: It was very a good breakup. Actually were like, we
- 21:23Speaker 3: traveled around the world and we're in front of the
- 21:25Speaker 3: Notre Dame in France for the last week I was
- 21:27Speaker 3: playing in France and we're like, this doesn't work, Like
- 21:29Speaker 3: we're not happy with each other. And then the next
- 21:32Speaker 3: day was when we found out that she was pregnant.
- 21:34Speaker 3: That night we went out to dinner and we went
- 21:37Speaker 3: out to our friend's dinner and then she was like
- 21:39Speaker 3: across from us and she was like, oh, my boobs,
- 21:41Speaker 3: and then all the girls kind of screamed and all
- 21:43Speaker 3: the rugby boys we were like, okay, went home, did
- 21:45Speaker 3: a pregnancy test and we found out we were pregnant
- 21:47Speaker 3: with my boy Eli wow, and so we had a conversation,
- 21:50Speaker 3: We're going back to Australia that next week, and so
- 21:52Speaker 3: we went back to Australia and during that it was
- 21:55Speaker 3: kind of like step up to the plate. I was
- 21:56Speaker 3: raised the Mormon. I talked to my mom, you gotta
- 21:59Speaker 3: stay but and so we did. We ended up going
- 22:02Speaker 3: back to France for a complemel So I was nineteen
- 22:05Speaker 3: at the time.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Oh my god, baby baby.
- 22:07Speaker 3: So we did that. We went back to France together.
- 22:10Speaker 3: We lived there for half that season. Things were going
- 22:13Speaker 3: to well with the rugby club financially, they went under
- 22:15Speaker 3: and so then that kind of put a lot of
- 22:17Speaker 3: pressure on us and all the rugby players internationally. And
- 22:20Speaker 3: then we went back to Australia. I was in a
- 22:23Speaker 3: midlife crisis only at like twenty one at this time,
- 22:26Speaker 3: I had a professional career. I just lost it, have
- 22:29Speaker 3: a kid, and then we're in a very toxic relationship.
- 22:31Speaker 3: And it's not for that. She traveled the world and
- 22:33Speaker 3: gave it all up for me to live my dream.
- 22:36Speaker 3: And that was the bigger pressure was having my partner
- 22:39Speaker 3: there in a different country, just supporting one hundred percent.
- 22:42Speaker 3: So she didn't have her things, she didn't have her
- 22:44Speaker 3: time or anything like that, and that was kind of
- 22:46Speaker 3: a big pressure for both of us. Yeah, and then
- 22:49Speaker 3: so when we went back to Australia during that period,
- 22:51Speaker 3: of time. I moved, we broke up, we got back together,
- 22:54Speaker 3: we went to council and then the councilor was like,
- 22:56Speaker 3: you guys don't need to be together, right, He's like
- 22:59Speaker 3: you definitely, this is too far gone, Like there's so
- 23:02Speaker 3: much animosity towards each other that you're better off being apart.
- 23:05Speaker 3: So we separated. And then as we were separating, still
- 23:09Speaker 3: trying to like backwards and forwards, we found out we're
- 23:12Speaker 3: fourteen weeks pregnant with our little girl.
- 23:14Speaker 1: That can I tell you, that's when it happens because
- 23:18Speaker 1: passionate relationships will do a quote unquote passionate relationships which
- 23:22Speaker 1: are usually yes, yeah, but it's like the explosion of
- 23:28Speaker 1: a fight is so passionate that the makeup us yeah,
- 23:32Speaker 1: you know, and people that's when a lot of babies
- 23:35Speaker 1: are can see.
- 23:36Speaker 3: It was, it was, it was. It was definitely a
- 23:38Speaker 3: surprise for both of us.
- 23:39Speaker 2: What's the age difference between them?
- 23:41Speaker 3: Just they're a year years and year close, so close. Yes,
- 23:44Speaker 3: we had you lie. We moved back to Australia and
- 23:46Speaker 3: then we had that situation pop up. And at that
- 23:48Speaker 3: point again it was like we went we got an ultrasound,
- 23:51Speaker 3: We saw a full lown baby. It wasn't like a
- 23:53Speaker 3: fetus anymore. She was fully developed in this growing her
- 23:55Speaker 3: best life. So we were at fourteen weeks. So that
- 23:58Speaker 3: was a point where we decide how did the stay separated?
- 24:01Speaker 3: But we're going to figure out how we go the
- 24:03Speaker 3: next steps, but we're all broken up. I was in
- 24:05Speaker 3: a different state and then during that time, during that time,
- 24:09Speaker 3: I had an argument with her dad over the phone,
- 24:11Speaker 3: and that's when the domestic violence order got brought in.
- 24:14Speaker 3: And then they related back to our three four year
- 24:17Speaker 3: history of just angry fighting with each other. Two back
- 24:21Speaker 3: to when we were nineteen and we got into an
- 24:23Speaker 3: argument and I did slap her. Yeah, it wasn't the
- 24:26Speaker 3: cause of the domestic violence, but it should never have happened.
- 24:28Speaker 3: And so that way, when I speak about that, I
- 24:30Speaker 3: know I should never have done that, and it's the
- 24:32Speaker 3: one time I have. And then in the domestic violence order,
- 24:34Speaker 3: what was brought up was kind of my background of
- 24:37Speaker 3: being from New Zealand, my parents being split up, my
- 24:40Speaker 3: domestic violence when I was growing up, so they kind
- 24:42Speaker 3: of like leaned into all these things. And then I
- 24:44Speaker 3: wasn't in court to appeel it when they served me
- 24:48Speaker 3: with the papers. I wasn't present because I didn't get served.
- 24:50Speaker 3: The officer serving me, and this is ridiculous. The officer
- 24:53Speaker 3: serving me was out of the country on holiday, so
- 24:55Speaker 3: the papers sat on this table. He comes back, lets
- 24:58Speaker 3: me know that I didn't appear in court, so it's
- 25:00Speaker 3: been it's been upheld, so I need to apply for
- 25:03Speaker 3: a court appearance to get it dropped. We go to
- 25:05Speaker 3: the court four months later and it gets dropped. I
- 25:09Speaker 3: submit my evidence, He understands we got dropped, and then
- 25:12Speaker 3: we started talking again. I got to see my little girl,
- 25:14Speaker 3: I got to spend some time with Eli. And during
- 25:17Speaker 3: that four month breakup period we were I was already
- 25:20Speaker 3: transitioning to go what happens if I can get a
- 25:22Speaker 3: work out in the NFL? And so that was kind
- 25:25Speaker 3: of where I was like, I'm not I can't play
- 25:26Speaker 3: rugby this season. Where can I go play professional sports somewhere?
- 25:30Speaker 3: What can I do? And obviously she was in a
- 25:33Speaker 3: new relationship it still is with the same guy. And
- 25:36Speaker 3: this is a very important message that never got shown
- 25:38Speaker 3: or talked about because I didn't want to talk about
- 25:41Speaker 3: their relationship. Now that now that we've made up and
- 25:44Speaker 3: we're actually talking legend of a guy. And from the
- 25:47Speaker 3: beginning when they started dating and I was out of
- 25:49Speaker 3: the picture, he stepped up to the plate. He's always
- 25:51Speaker 3: been there for the two kids. And that was where
- 25:54Speaker 3: our period of time I'm not seeing him. Once I
- 25:56Speaker 3: moved to America, he stepped up to a point where
- 25:59Speaker 3: they don't They didn't need to have me or my
- 26:02Speaker 3: mom or my family sitting around going oh, how's the kids,
- 26:04Speaker 3: because it's kind of antagonizing to their parenting, right, And
- 26:07Speaker 3: so cliff note fast forward. As we went through that
- 26:11Speaker 3: period of the relationship where that kid I moved to America,
- 26:14Speaker 3: it just grew bigger and bigger apart because I wasn't
- 26:17Speaker 3: there and the kids had somebody there. And then never
- 26:19Speaker 3: let the conversation came up with his family. And then
- 26:22Speaker 3: where you're not stepping up, you say you are, but
- 26:25Speaker 3: you're not. And in my head, it's fun because it's
- 26:27Speaker 3: hard because when we've talked about it on the show
- 26:29Speaker 3: with everybody watching, I've never spoken about that period ever,
- 26:33Speaker 3: And in my head, I was like, yeah, I'm working
- 26:35Speaker 3: on it, I'm doing it, But I never internally processed
- 26:38Speaker 3: the damage I did, the damage that affected the kids
- 26:41Speaker 3: and what all of that. I never took that into account, you.
- 26:45Speaker 1: Know I have and obviously with my situation, and you
- 26:49Speaker 1: hear a story like that, and you want to say, like,
- 26:51Speaker 1: why didn't you fight harder? Why didn't you give more
- 26:54Speaker 1: of a damn? And what I'm hearing with this is
- 26:59Speaker 1: you made the best decision for those two kids. How
- 27:04Speaker 1: is their life going to be fulfilled with stability consistency
- 27:10Speaker 1: and that is very important for children. And if you
- 27:13Speaker 1: felt like it was the best decision, and the mom
- 27:17Speaker 1: their mom felt like that was the best decision, it
- 27:20Speaker 1: sounds like you two agreed on this.
- 27:22Speaker 3: I guess we agreed on it, But I took it
- 27:24Speaker 3: as like you're not going to you know, I took
- 27:26Speaker 3: it as the immature version of like, oh, you're gonna
- 27:28Speaker 3: take me, Like this guy's not going to rate, Like
- 27:30Speaker 3: I was really upset about not having access, but at
- 27:33Speaker 3: the same time, I knew deep down that that was
- 27:36Speaker 3: the best thing for the kids and it still is.
- 27:39Speaker 3: And say like that was the hardest thing for me
- 27:41Speaker 3: to kind of remind myself, like, Okay, I'm their dad,
- 27:43Speaker 3: but I'm not the right person to raise these kids.
- 27:46Speaker 3: They're in a good situation with somebody that is treating
- 27:48Speaker 3: them like their own kids. They have now a little sister,
- 27:52Speaker 3: and he's been around the whole time. He's taught and
- 27:54Speaker 3: it was just like it was. It wasn't an ego trip.
- 27:57Speaker 3: It was just it was just hard to get my
- 27:59Speaker 3: head wrapped around fact that, you know what, I did
- 28:02Speaker 3: have two kids, but I wasn't a good dad for them.
- 28:04Speaker 1: You know, I think that being being a dad or
- 28:07Speaker 1: a mom, that's not a right, that's a luxury. You
- 28:10Speaker 1: don't just get the title of a dad because you
- 28:13Speaker 1: shot some sperm. You don't get you don't just get
- 28:17Speaker 1: to be a father, you know. I agree, Yes, So
- 28:21Speaker 1: I think you saying that, you know, you were obviously
- 28:25Speaker 1: very young, and we can sit here and say this
- 28:27Speaker 1: is what you should have done, and we can go
- 28:29Speaker 1: back and forth all day long. The bottom line is
- 28:31Speaker 1: how are the two children doing? Right? Yes, it's about
- 28:35Speaker 1: I think I think about this all the time because
- 28:38Speaker 1: obviously my world blew up and you want to think
- 28:41Speaker 1: that everything is cookie cutter. But at the end of
- 28:43Speaker 1: the day, take all the shit out of it with
- 28:46Speaker 1: both parents, what is going to benefit these kids so
- 28:50Speaker 1: they can go out into the world and not have
- 28:53Speaker 1: you know, years and hundreds of thousands of dollars worth
- 28:55Speaker 1: of fucking therapy to get over the traumas that the
- 28:59Speaker 1: parents have caused. And so I respect the decision that
- 29:05Speaker 1: you made. I respect their mom, and I am wondering
- 29:09Speaker 1: do they know like, do they know you?
- 29:13Speaker 3: Yeah? So that was the harder part because once we
- 29:16Speaker 3: started reconnecting and talking to them, Wins had no problem
- 29:20Speaker 3: coming up on the FaceTime and being like hey, like
- 29:22Speaker 3: how aya, But then Eli didn't want to, and he's
- 29:25Speaker 3: still it's still at a point where he does because
- 29:28Speaker 3: for him I was a big influence with them, and
- 29:30Speaker 3: when it wasn't around he was three, but he still
- 29:32Speaker 3: knew that and he still felt that. So we're still
- 29:34Speaker 3: working on that relationship. The rule is it's up to
- 29:37Speaker 3: the kids, and so me and their mother text backwards
- 29:40Speaker 3: and forwards. I just check in on them how they're doing.
- 29:43Speaker 3: And Trevor, their kids stepdad is this or their dad
- 29:46Speaker 3: is an absolute legend. He's like, well, grab a beer
- 29:48Speaker 3: when you're in town, Like not a problem, Like, let's
- 29:51Speaker 3: not make this a thing. Let's just move forward, which
- 29:54Speaker 3: is what I was doing. I was making it a thing,
- 29:56Speaker 3: wasn't I I was? I was avoiding the hard things.
- 29:58Speaker 3: I was like, yeah, younger to thought that out. And
- 30:00Speaker 3: then after this came out, and once it came out
- 30:04Speaker 3: on the show, it really just came at me with
- 30:06Speaker 3: like I was like, well, I just have to do it.
- 30:09Speaker 3: I can't just sit there and say I'm doing something.
- 30:11Speaker 3: I'm going to take care of this. How do I
- 30:12Speaker 3: fix this? How do I step How do I solve
- 30:14Speaker 3: the problem that I close for myself instead of just
- 30:16Speaker 3: putting it off and prolonging that hortshit between me and
- 30:21Speaker 3: my ex And now we're at a better place. So
- 30:23Speaker 3: the fact that we're like, we're homies, but she respects
- 30:26Speaker 3: that I said sorry, She respects all of that. And
- 30:29Speaker 3: then at the same time, I just I'm so happy
- 30:32Speaker 3: that the kids have her.
- 30:34Speaker 1: I'm thrilled about it, and I love where you are
- 30:36Speaker 1: right now. And you know, people can give you all
- 30:38Speaker 1: the advice in the world, but a situation like that,
- 30:41Speaker 1: every situation is so complex and there's so many little
- 30:45Speaker 1: nuances where it's like you can't even give advice or
- 30:49Speaker 1: say what you would have done because you really don't
- 30:51Speaker 1: fucking know. Right, Yeah, you do the best you can
- 30:55Speaker 1: with the situation that maybe you created for yourself that
- 30:58Speaker 1: was handed to you. And you know, Brock and I
- 31:01Speaker 1: have spoken about this a lot. In my mind, I
- 31:05Speaker 1: was coming from a place because I didn't know you well,
- 31:07Speaker 1: and I know Sheena and you know her picker just
- 31:10Speaker 1: like my picker has been off on many occasions and
- 31:13Speaker 1: where you're waving red flags in our faces and we're like,
- 31:15Speaker 1: what hit pink to me? Color blind as fuck? Yeah,
- 31:19Speaker 1: And so I wanted to protect her because her heart
- 31:22Speaker 1: is so pure, right, My main goal in all of
- 31:27Speaker 1: it was just protection. In her mind, she's like, I
- 31:30Speaker 1: found the man of my dreams and now the father
- 31:34Speaker 1: of my child? What are you doing? Laala? Like, shut
- 31:36Speaker 1: your fucking mouth. Hindsight, maybe I should have shut my mouth,
- 31:40Speaker 1: Maybe I should have approached it in a different way.
- 31:43Speaker 1: But again, you just do the best you can with
- 31:48Speaker 1: whatever situation you're in.
- 31:50Speaker 3: And this old perspective and all informational, right, that word perspected,
- 31:54Speaker 3: it's a killa. It's a real thing. Like we can
- 31:56Speaker 3: look at this newspaperodical in front of us, and we
- 31:58Speaker 3: can look at from different angles early times. Yeah, there's
- 32:01Speaker 3: only one hour and you to read this one right here,
- 32:06Speaker 3: that's right. But in a life and I think we
- 32:10Speaker 3: get offended by somebody else's perceptions. Sometimes we don't and
- 32:13Speaker 3: it's like wow, and it's like no one is, no
- 32:15Speaker 3: one's in it. They gets so crazy like America and
- 32:18Speaker 3: I love it here, but there's a different world outside
- 32:20Speaker 3: of America on top of that. So you add cultural
- 32:22Speaker 3: differences and all that, and it's like I love everyone
- 32:25Speaker 3: about in Australia, Like, oh, you could have had the
- 32:27Speaker 3: same in Australia, but I'm telling you, guys, you have
- 32:28Speaker 3: an accent and driving America, you're going places in Australia,
- 32:32Speaker 3: I'm just like a trade that's digging holes and having
- 32:34Speaker 3: a chat and getting off of like that's it. I haven't.
- 32:37Speaker 3: It's iny at ten o'clock, like it's it right. But
- 32:40Speaker 3: over here you can have there's opportunities. And that was
- 32:43Speaker 3: a hard one for everyone. Well what about it's not
- 32:46Speaker 3: a cop out, bro come to America. I left my
- 32:48Speaker 3: family to try to get out of the hole, which
- 32:50Speaker 3: which was low income my mom was. We lived in projects,
- 32:54Speaker 3: we lived in low income areas, and the only reason
- 32:56Speaker 3: I got out of that was because my last two
- 32:58Speaker 3: years of school I got off at a bought scholarships.
- 33:00Speaker 3: So that was my way out, what would it be?
- 33:07Speaker 3: My education horrible case in point. I never was good
- 33:11Speaker 3: at school, suffered from it a lot, and so growing
- 33:13Speaker 3: up I thought I was either going to be a
- 33:15Speaker 3: dairy farm on my whole life, which is what my
- 33:16Speaker 3: stepdad did and still does, or that was it. There
- 33:20Speaker 3: was no other option for me. It was building, it
- 33:22Speaker 3: was construction. It was trade work, hard work, and to
- 33:25Speaker 3: get into it, and I'm a fan of hard work.
- 33:28Speaker 3: But then when I had the opportunity to play rugby
- 33:30Speaker 3: at nineteen or eighteen i started playing that, I was like, oh,
- 33:33Speaker 3: this could be a career to get my family out
- 33:35Speaker 3: of the projects, you know, And so that was the
- 33:39Speaker 3: driving force behind it. And since eighteen when I realized
- 33:42Speaker 3: like I could put my body and my skills. I
- 33:44Speaker 3: was never the talented, but I'd know i'd work hard
- 33:46Speaker 3: at it, and that was the vision I've always had.
- 33:48Speaker 3: And then within that big vision, there was sacrifices and
- 33:51Speaker 3: losses that I stepped out on. But I think it's
- 33:54Speaker 3: very perspective and unfair for people to be like, well
- 33:57Speaker 3: what about this when you people don't understand, People don't
- 34:00Speaker 3: really get. And even when I came at you and
- 34:02Speaker 3: I was ripping your head off. When I was pissed
- 34:03Speaker 3: off in the show, I was like, bloody rain drivers
- 34:06Speaker 3: and Beverly Hills is not normal because for me it
- 34:09Speaker 3: was a perspective of where I came from.
- 34:11Speaker 1: You know, yeah, no, I do know. People can sit
- 34:15Speaker 1: there and it's like if you you can't weigh in
- 34:18Speaker 1: on if you if you were born and raised in
- 34:20Speaker 1: the United States and you grew up a certain way,
- 34:24Speaker 1: it's hard for you to understand, like what Brock is saying,
- 34:28Speaker 1: if you've never been to Australia in the situation he
- 34:31Speaker 1: was placed in, you can't say you could have done
- 34:33Speaker 1: that in Australia. How the fuck do we know what
- 34:36Speaker 1: you could or couldn't do in Australia.
- 34:38Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, And that's not ripping on ipswich And if
- 34:40Speaker 3: everyone's listening from back home from ipswitch, I love it, Pepe,
- 34:43Speaker 3: but listen, bro it's not that if you know where
- 34:45Speaker 3: are you? Yeah, if you know, you know. And I
- 34:48Speaker 3: think with time and just understanding that and learning, there's
- 34:52Speaker 3: no playbook in life. And I think that's the best
- 34:54Speaker 3: reason why podcasts are so great, because people want to
- 34:57Speaker 3: hear everyone else's experiences. They want to hear another perspective,
- 35:00Speaker 3: and then they're going to get go on to those
- 35:01Speaker 3: same perspectives around them so they can kind of find
- 35:04Speaker 3: similarities in it. Yeah, and reality is there's that many
- 35:07Speaker 3: and not going to always agree and look at look
- 35:09Speaker 3: at the world we're in right now.
- 35:10Speaker 1: Yeah, Yeah, we just and I talk about that a lot,
- 35:13Speaker 1: like perspective and people coming from different areas, and just
- 35:20Speaker 1: we so often judge people just based off of what
- 35:24Speaker 1: you see in front of you, without thinking about what
- 35:26Speaker 1: that person has been through to get them to where
- 35:28Speaker 1: they are. And if we don't vibe with someone, we
- 35:31Speaker 1: have to at least respect the trials and tribulations they've
- 35:35Speaker 1: gone through to get to where they are. Let's find
- 35:37Speaker 1: common ground. I feel like we've done that. And by
- 35:40Speaker 1: the way, range Rovers and being in Beverly Hills, I mean,
- 35:43Speaker 1: I'm not from anywhere that's you know, I grew up
- 35:46Speaker 1: in a very privileged area, but I certainly wasn't driving
- 35:51Speaker 1: around in range Rovers, you know, as a ghost ride
- 35:54Speaker 1: in the fucking Ford Expedition. You know, my friend's going
- 35:58Speaker 1: to private school and you had a car, you had wheels.
- 36:05Speaker 3: Yeah, Yes, I used to love I used to love
- 36:08Speaker 3: my story, this one story of my mom is like, Mom,
- 36:10Speaker 3: can I go to the movie theater. She's like, yeah,
- 36:11Speaker 3: you can go to the movies. And the movie ticket
- 36:13Speaker 3: In Australia, a ticket to the movie is eight dollars.
- 36:16Speaker 3: Popcorn might be like two three dollars, and then like
- 36:18Speaker 3: a ticket, it's like three dollars, so to go to
- 36:20Speaker 3: the movies. But Mom, yeah, it's I get ten bucks
- 36:23Speaker 3: to go to the movies. She's like, hey, you go.
- 36:24Speaker 3: And then so I get given ten dollars to go
- 36:26Speaker 3: to the movies, but I still have to pay for
- 36:28Speaker 3: my train ride and figure it out. So this was
- 36:30Speaker 3: my thing. I used to go from Mipswich to injur Pilly,
- 36:33Speaker 3: jump on the train. If like the train inspector's gone on,
- 36:35Speaker 3: I got off and I got back on the next trainer.
- 36:38Speaker 3: I'd run off and then you jump on another carriage
- 36:40Speaker 3: and just get there to jump the train. And then
- 36:43Speaker 3: and then when I get to the get to the
- 36:45Speaker 3: movie theater, I'd buy my ticket. And then when people
- 36:48Speaker 3: would finish a movie, they would have their refill coupons
- 36:50Speaker 3: on their popcorn and they throw them away. So I
- 36:52Speaker 3: pull out of the trash, grab the refund copon, go
- 36:55Speaker 3: up to the front of it. Can I get a
- 36:56Speaker 3: fresh box and you get free popcorn? But that was
- 37:00Speaker 3: that was that was just like it is what I
- 37:01Speaker 3: wanted to go with my friends. I wanted to keep
- 37:03Speaker 3: the normal, normal things with my friends after school or
- 37:05Speaker 3: on weekends. But that was how I did movies.
- 37:07Speaker 1: Then this is fascinating trends going through garbage.
- 37:12Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, what that's what it is. Trash is another
- 37:14Speaker 3: man's free pop ports.
- 37:15Speaker 1: Right.
- 37:16Speaker 2: Okay, So then with your it sounds like you and
- 37:19Speaker 2: Sheena probably had different upbringings or grew up a bit
- 37:23Speaker 2: differently a little bit. Do you think that that plays
- 37:26Speaker 2: and how you raise summer?
- 37:27Speaker 1: Have you had to work that question?
- 37:29Speaker 3: Yeah, listen, this is this is the question. This is
- 37:32Speaker 3: out life.
- 37:32Speaker 1: By the way I've seen it, I've seen her.
- 37:34Speaker 3: Because we're both like we're doing it for the best
- 37:37Speaker 3: of the best, yes, and the ultimate outchemist to teach
- 37:40Speaker 3: her the best of us, to be honest. But yeah,
- 37:44Speaker 3: we definitely a conversation. You should definitely have more than
- 37:46Speaker 3: after six months of having a conversation with somebody dating.
- 37:49Speaker 3: You need to have those conversations because you're you're it's
- 37:52Speaker 3: so fun. We get to imprint on her, like we literally,
- 37:56Speaker 3: and I'm in a different situation when I was when
- 37:58Speaker 3: I was nineteen, Yes, I know for a fact I
- 37:59Speaker 3: still was doing good things. But now I'm in a
- 38:02Speaker 3: different position to actually just enjoy those moments. But it's
- 38:05Speaker 3: definitely hard.
- 38:06Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I'm sure. Yeah, I know. Sheena Sheena like
- 38:09Speaker 1: baby baby, baby, Baby's her baby. Obviously, you know she's
- 38:13Speaker 1: she suffered a miscarriage. Summer is her. She has been
- 38:17Speaker 1: through what many women have been through. I can't relate,
- 38:21Speaker 1: but she is just that is her angel, right, not
- 38:26Speaker 1: saying it's not Brocks, but Brock is, like she's tough.
- 38:33Speaker 3: I'm gonna lie. Parenting back in the day had some lady.
- 38:36Speaker 3: You gotta yeah, Parenting back in the day was ruthless.
- 38:38Speaker 3: We were, and I think we're realizing now the impact
- 38:43Speaker 3: that that has on everybody, you know, especially with especially
- 38:47Speaker 3: with this like what's the word I'm trying to say,
- 38:51Speaker 3: just with kind of like the mind fuckery, the impact
- 38:54Speaker 3: that really has on us, right, And so we had
- 38:57Speaker 3: to we had a family argument slash open table, because
- 39:02Speaker 3: this is the best part about me is my family.
- 39:04Speaker 3: I'm the youngest of five, my mom was with the
- 39:07Speaker 3: youngest with my dad. He had all five kids, and
- 39:10Speaker 3: when I was three two and a half, they split up,
- 39:13Speaker 3: and so that rocked my whole family. Were born into
- 39:15Speaker 3: the Mormon Church, born and raised in New Zealand and
- 39:18Speaker 3: good old Mormons, and say we're the family that has.
- 39:21Speaker 1: A split parent, definitely looked down upon.
- 39:25Speaker 3: And then so my eldest brother, at the age of
- 39:28Speaker 3: eighteen was an Olympic swimmer. He was doing water polo
- 39:30Speaker 3: for New Zealand. He was crushing it then and then
- 39:34Speaker 3: he found a girl and then started partying and then
- 39:38Speaker 3: ended up in gangs and ended up in jail for
- 39:40Speaker 3: doing the stupid things stealing cars and this guy down
- 39:43Speaker 3: the wrong track. And then my other brother underneath them,
- 39:46Speaker 3: when my parents split up, it affected him differently. He
- 39:48Speaker 3: ran away at home at fourteen and we're half moldy,
- 39:51Speaker 3: but he's running around with like gang members and doing
- 39:54Speaker 3: dumb things in and out of juvie, stealing and doing
- 39:57Speaker 3: dumb things. So and then my other sister that that
- 40:01Speaker 3: separation affected her because she ended up being an alcoholic
- 40:03Speaker 3: at like twelve or thirteen. Wow, and so now she's
- 40:06Speaker 3: like eighteen years sober.
- 40:07Speaker 1: Now, oh my god.
- 40:08Speaker 3: So that's why that's like like sobriety when James and
- 40:11Speaker 3: all that. For me, I'm just like, I don't want
- 40:12Speaker 3: to like overstep because I don't know that. But yeah,
- 40:14Speaker 3: my sister's eighteen years sober. Wow, and I think she
- 40:17Speaker 3: I think she might be nineteen coming up to twenty.
- 40:19Speaker 3: Like she's crushing it, crushing. And so then there was
- 40:21Speaker 3: me and my sister, the youngest two that just saw
- 40:23Speaker 3: a whole that I saw a whole family crumble from
- 40:25Speaker 3: all of that, and so I just learned from their mistakes.
- 40:28Speaker 3: I never touched a drug until I was like twenty,
- 40:30Speaker 3: till I end on America and finished football and that
- 40:32Speaker 3: was the end of that closure.
- 40:33Speaker 1: Like America's great.
- 40:35Speaker 3: Who what is this cannabis?
- 40:36Speaker 1: You know?
- 40:37Speaker 3: And even when I talk about it with my mom,
- 40:39Speaker 3: she gets she's like, oh, drugs, it's bad. It's like
- 40:41Speaker 3: it's better than pharmaceutical. But anyways, have.
- 40:45Speaker 2: Your has your family met?
- 40:47Speaker 1: Summer?
- 40:47Speaker 3: So my mom and my two sisters, have my two
- 40:50Speaker 3: older brothers. They're ones in New Zealand, ones in Australia.
- 40:52Speaker 3: They have not yet got. Hopefully at the end of
- 40:54Speaker 3: this year we're going to get back to Australia because
- 40:56Speaker 3: the pandemic was the real thing. But my mom and
- 40:59Speaker 3: the sister, they're actually at my house right now with summer.
- 41:02Speaker 3: They for the wedding. So they're here for the wedding.
- 41:04Speaker 3: And I picked my mom up two days ago, my
- 41:06Speaker 3: sister yesterday, and then my other sister comes in tomorrow
- 41:09Speaker 3: and then we've got the wedding and then yeah, that's
- 41:11Speaker 3: that's the best part. But that's my family, right, And
- 41:13Speaker 3: so like when I talk about perspective, like that's where
- 41:16Speaker 3: mine comes from. Like I don't want to and I
- 41:18Speaker 3: feel like I just want to retire my mom. I
- 41:20Speaker 3: needed her to stop working. She's a prison officer. I
- 41:23Speaker 3: don't know if I haven't bragged about that enough.
- 41:25Speaker 1: She is.
- 41:25Speaker 3: She's a prison officer still still is.
- 41:28Speaker 1: So she grew up and the inmates call her mom.
- 41:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 41:32Speaker 2: Is it in all women's prisoners prison.
- 41:35Speaker 3: Or men's men's max start. Yeah. So she grew up
- 41:39Speaker 3: with my dad. She was working in like retail for
- 41:41Speaker 3: her whole life, dude retail, worked at like a makeup artist,
- 41:44Speaker 3: like we go into like those norserooms, and that was
- 41:47Speaker 3: my mom. And then like and then she was like,
- 41:50Speaker 3: I want to change, So she applied for the police
- 41:51Speaker 3: force and that and then she ended up getting a
- 41:54Speaker 3: government job at the men's prison. She's been there for
- 41:56Speaker 3: like nearly twenty years now.
- 41:57Speaker 1: And she tough. Is she a tough woman?
- 41:59Speaker 3: She she's a strong woman. Yeah, she's strong. Like she's
- 42:02Speaker 3: like she's like she's strong and she just like she's
- 42:06Speaker 3: so much. I'm so proud of her, Like she just
- 42:08Speaker 3: carries her and then she just works her use off.
- 42:10Speaker 3: So I want to That's my goal is take care
- 42:13Speaker 3: of my family because I learned all my lessons from
- 42:15Speaker 3: them and if that meant maybe those sacrifices I thought up,
- 42:18Speaker 3: they were appropriate at the time I did that, and
- 42:20Speaker 3: that was with work, that was with football everything. So
- 42:23Speaker 3: but that's that's kind of like, that's my perspective of
- 42:26Speaker 3: life is because we did come from that. I remember,
- 42:29Speaker 3: you know, when we're growing up. My mom had to
- 42:30Speaker 3: buy our house and that was the first house she
- 42:32Speaker 3: brought by herself. And I had money in the bank
- 42:35Speaker 3: because I lost my finger when I was four. And
- 42:37Speaker 3: so every year I get I got, I get a
- 42:39Speaker 3: check because I'm sixteen percent whole body incompetent, Like my
- 42:42Speaker 3: limb is never going to grow back.
- 42:44Speaker 2: What wait, what is this? I don't know this story.
- 42:47Speaker 1: What what know?
- 42:50Speaker 2: No to wait, let me see you. I see okay, brock,
- 42:54Speaker 2: I had no idea you only had four fingers.
- 42:56Speaker 3: Yeah, so I tell her when it was a crocodile.
- 42:59Speaker 3: But I guess I could tell everyone in the real.
- 43:00Speaker 2: Story that's here for anyone.
- 43:03Speaker 3: We do the crocodile story or the real story the
- 43:05Speaker 3: real store. So we grew up on the dairy farm.
- 43:09Speaker 3: And then one afternoon I was in the yard and
- 43:11Speaker 3: it's a circular yard, and there's a pin in the
- 43:13Speaker 3: middle of a gate, just like a clockhand, and as
- 43:15Speaker 3: it rotates around, it pushes the cattle onto the table
- 43:18Speaker 3: to get milked. And when it gets to about seven o'clock,
- 43:22Speaker 3: there's a side gate and you take the bulls out
- 43:24Speaker 3: of the side because you don't want the bulls to
- 43:25Speaker 3: go onto the milking table because you can't milk a ball. Yeah, stupid,
- 43:32Speaker 3: my prospective. Everybody, there's me, four and a half years old,
- 43:37Speaker 3: walk past this big bull and I walked raight past
- 43:40Speaker 3: them to get him out to the side. So I
- 43:41Speaker 3: walked behind him and as every day I go kiss
- 43:44Speaker 3: and I kind of like clack my hands like come on,
- 43:47Speaker 3: get out, and instead of him getting up it started
- 43:50Speaker 3: at him and he kicked me, and so I fell
- 43:52Speaker 3: back onto the gate that was behind me, and it
- 43:54Speaker 3: just so happened that the cover was off, and then
- 43:56Speaker 3: I rolled my hand in and it rolled in like gears,
- 43:59Speaker 3: caught my hand and then it crushed crushed my first
- 44:03Speaker 3: finger okay, flangie number one, my pointer okay, and a
- 44:06Speaker 3: bit of the two. But then it actually crushed all
- 44:08Speaker 3: of my hand in. So they had to do like
- 44:11Speaker 3: bone graft, skin graft. It was hectic. That was wild.
- 44:14Speaker 1: Do you wash your entire hand?
- 44:17Speaker 3: Yeah? I went to the well, we're on the farm,
- 44:19Speaker 3: so we had to go to the vet in town. Well,
- 44:22Speaker 3: this is rural. I had to go to the vet
- 44:25Speaker 3: and then they wrapped it up in a bandage and
- 44:27Speaker 3: then I had to get airlifted to the hospital, which
- 44:29Speaker 3: was like two hours away.
- 44:31Speaker 2: Do you remember feeling pain or were you in shock?
- 44:33Speaker 3: Never? Pain, but I remember talking about it over and
- 44:37Speaker 3: over at there was the widest white I've ever seen
- 44:39Speaker 3: in my life, which was my bone, and then there
- 44:42Speaker 3: was a point. Yeah, it's it's it's gnally.
- 44:45Speaker 2: What does it have to do with your liver though,
- 44:47Speaker 2: or is that different? Did you say liver?
- 44:49Speaker 3: No, just like just how I was raised.
- 44:51Speaker 1: No, I thought, limb okay, okay.
- 44:56Speaker 3: Yeah, so back to how I was raised. So that
- 44:58Speaker 3: happened when I was four and a half, and then
- 45:00Speaker 3: since then, for the rest of my life, I get
- 45:02Speaker 3: like one thousand dollars a year. I was like, cool,
- 45:04Speaker 3: I'll take that whatever like that, I mean whatever, yeah,
- 45:07Speaker 3: And so that was going into my bank account for
- 45:09Speaker 3: like ten twelve years. So I had like, like, what
- 45:12Speaker 3: was that ten to twelve thousand dollars? And so I
- 45:14Speaker 3: remember my mom was buying her first house and she
- 45:17Speaker 3: was short, and then she cried to me. She was like,
- 45:19Speaker 3: I need to use your money to buy the house.
- 45:21Speaker 3: I was like, it's fine, I owned these four bricks
- 45:23Speaker 3: right here. But that was just that's just my mom,
- 45:29Speaker 3: Like she deserves everything, and she's taking care of five
- 45:31Speaker 3: of us, you know, and unfortunately for her, she wears
- 45:34Speaker 3: her burdens through us our mistakes, she carries them as
- 45:38Speaker 3: her own. And so like when this came out, I
- 45:41Speaker 3: couldn't tell my mom to stay off social media because
- 45:43Speaker 3: she cannot help herself, and I just destroyed her more.
- 45:46Speaker 3: And so this made that kind of like, yeah, do you.
- 45:51Speaker 2: Do you regret asking or anything? Lala or is it
- 45:54Speaker 2: just one of those things where you're like, we could
- 45:56Speaker 2: only do what we could do. At the time, I
- 45:58Speaker 2: thought it was I thought it was appropriate, and I
- 46:01Speaker 2: thought I was trying to protect Sina.
- 46:06Speaker 1: I would have I would have done it very differently.
- 46:10Speaker 1: I would have I would have pulled her aside and
- 46:13Speaker 1: asked her and, you know, said are you good? Do
- 46:17Speaker 1: you know about this stuff? I just would have I
- 46:20Speaker 1: would have done it very differently, just differently. I don't
- 46:23Speaker 1: want to say that I wish I wouldn't have brought
- 46:25Speaker 1: it up, especially now with the situation I'm in. I'm
- 46:28Speaker 1: very like I used to be protective of women, I
- 46:32Speaker 1: am like beyond protective of women now. So I think
- 46:39Speaker 1: had it happened after my situation, I would have been
- 46:44Speaker 1: much more delicate, got it. Yeah.
- 46:46Speaker 3: You know.
- 46:48Speaker 1: A lot of people, especially Sandoval, like to say that
- 46:50Speaker 1: I'm on my high horse. Everyone needs to get over it.
- 46:52Speaker 1: Me and the horse that's high are connected, right, I'm
- 46:56Speaker 1: not falling off. I'm on doors. I enjoy it. I
- 47:02Speaker 1: am fallen off. But I would have done it differently, Okay, Yes, yeah,
- 47:06Speaker 1: And I probably would have had the I would have
- 47:09Speaker 1: probably brought Brock into the situation as well, to say
- 47:14Speaker 1: I'm concerned about my friend, even though you don't owe
- 47:18Speaker 1: me anything, just give me peace of mind for my friends.
- 47:21Speaker 1: Let's just talk it out. Instead, it was more aggressive.
- 47:25Speaker 3: And unfortunately that's how that's how I feel like when
- 47:29Speaker 3: the cameras are up, they kind of like encourage that
- 47:31Speaker 3: they're not going to be like, hey, you should have
- 47:33Speaker 3: like a side conversation. You know, you kind of feel like, well,
- 47:37Speaker 3: I got to tell you how I feel because other
- 47:38Speaker 3: people feel like this, and that's that's that's like the
- 47:41Speaker 3: trouble when cameras go up sometimes not. And I realized
- 47:43Speaker 3: that after watching you know, the worst thing to do
- 47:47Speaker 3: was watch those last five episodes in twenty four hour
- 47:51Speaker 3: span before the reunion, Yeah, because then I'm just sitting
- 47:54Speaker 3: here just sezing, so you man on top of like
- 47:57Speaker 3: the first half of like okay, oh here we go. Yeah,
- 48:00Speaker 3: and it just hit me. So when I went into
- 48:02Speaker 3: that reunion, I don't know what. First off, I should
- 48:05Speaker 3: never have been in this view, I should never have
- 48:07Speaker 3: been at that reunion. I should never have been a
- 48:09Speaker 3: main cast member season one. First off, because I mean,
- 48:14Speaker 3: you got the best of me, you got all of
- 48:16Speaker 3: there and that was raw, but like I didn't know
- 48:18Speaker 3: how to handle myself. And so when I was in there,
- 48:20Speaker 3: even Laa said she's like brocks someone because like I
- 48:23Speaker 3: was just I did it and then she wasn't there
- 48:25Speaker 3: you could be a person. So there I am just
- 48:28Speaker 3: yelling at a TV because I'm hurt and it's just
- 48:31Speaker 3: like he's crazy. Yeah, And that was like that was
- 48:35Speaker 3: my downfall because obviously if I could have taken a
- 48:38Speaker 3: second to understand that, you know what that happened. And
- 48:42Speaker 3: I'm angry at myself, but I'm taking it out on
- 48:44Speaker 3: La La. I'm taking it out on everybody else. I
- 48:47Speaker 3: wish I had that common sense because I know that's
- 48:49Speaker 3: within me to have that kind of temper to slow
- 48:52Speaker 3: down and be aware of that. But I didn't have
- 48:54Speaker 3: it that day, and it did not come across it.
- 48:56Speaker 1: You know the r I so I could tell you
- 48:58Speaker 1: were on tang you had ever right to be on ten.
- 49:00Speaker 1: I was going through my own ship. There was like
- 49:02Speaker 1: the bigger things happening in my life than what this
- 49:05Speaker 1: reunion was. I was kind of zoned down. Yeah, but
- 49:08Speaker 1: I shake things off pretty quickly. When people say I'll
- 49:12Speaker 1: forgive you, but I'll never forget. It's like, well, then
- 49:14Speaker 1: what's the point of forgiving me, because if you're never
- 49:16Speaker 1: going to forget, like that doesn't make much sense to me.
- 49:19Speaker 1: I literally forgive, forget, move on clean slate. So during
- 49:24Speaker 1: that moment, it was like, what, I may feel some
- 49:27Speaker 1: type of way, but I'll shake it off pretty quickly,
- 49:29Speaker 1: did you, guys, I'm no stranger to going.
- 49:31Speaker 3: Off on because because I also say because my problem
- 49:34Speaker 3: with that was like I never gave my I never
- 49:37Speaker 3: gave myself time to understand what you were dealing with. Hey,
- 49:40Speaker 3: because we also didn't realize what we were.
- 49:42Speaker 1: Dealing with, right, you know, until we read all times.
- 49:45Speaker 3: You know. But yeah, so that was that was another one.
- 49:48Speaker 3: We didn't realize that on top of it. But I
- 49:50Speaker 3: didn't even I didn't even make it available in my
- 49:52Speaker 3: thought process to be like what are you going through?
- 49:53Speaker 3: Because I was so hurt, I was so pissed, and
- 49:56Speaker 3: it was it was you know that I think the
- 49:58Speaker 3: biggest lesson for me from that it is like when
- 50:00Speaker 3: you feel like I'm in that, when I'm hurt, I
- 50:03Speaker 3: needed people need to do better, and being like why
- 50:05Speaker 3: are you really hurt? Because it's not for any of
- 50:07Speaker 3: this it's because you're not happy with your actions from
- 50:10Speaker 3: back and then, but just don't repeat it. So me
- 50:13Speaker 3: being angry in that situation didn't help.
- 50:15Speaker 1: Yeah, but I'm the perfect person to go off on.
- 50:18Speaker 3: Yeah, I feel like I mean you can. I feel
- 50:19Speaker 3: like we have our moments, but at the same time,
- 50:21Speaker 3: in real world we kind of like dustle off our
- 50:24Speaker 3: shoulders because reality is, if there's a problem, you're the
- 50:27Speaker 3: problem because it's not my problem. Because you're thinking it
- 50:29Speaker 3: not me. It sounds like you have a problem. I'm
- 50:32Speaker 3: walking this way right, But in that I had a
- 50:35Speaker 3: problem and I should have just walked on from it
- 50:37Speaker 3: and be like perfect, whatever, what's the problem.
- 50:39Speaker 1: I think it's good to purge. I think it is true.
- 50:41Speaker 2: Did either of you reach out to the other after,
- 50:44Speaker 2: because obviously, like you said at the reunion, tensions were high.
- 50:47Speaker 2: Was there a moment where one of you reached out
- 50:49Speaker 2: to the other and we're like we have to talk.
- 50:50Speaker 1: I think, brog didn't you reach out to me? I
- 50:53Speaker 1: believe you sent me a text that said that you
- 50:57Speaker 1: were sorry, and right after that it was like we're good, bro.
- 51:01Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, no, Yeah, I think I think I did
- 51:03Speaker 3: reach out just because like once I once you see yourself,
- 51:06Speaker 3: you're like, yeah, yeah, and look and I get it.
- 51:11Speaker 3: And the response I got on social media was valid.
- 51:14Speaker 3: You know, our audience. And this is another thing you
- 51:16Speaker 3: didn't even take ano account because I didn't think of
- 51:18Speaker 3: it as a show. I literally I thought of it
- 51:20Speaker 3: as she and a close friends and we get to
- 51:22Speaker 3: have this opportunity to do these great things. And that's
- 51:25Speaker 3: what I was was enjoying now. I was like, this
- 51:27Speaker 3: is such a fun season. You know, the audience that
- 51:29Speaker 3: watches it, the majority of them are females, you know,
- 51:32Speaker 3: you know, and then they want to be represented properly,
- 51:35Speaker 3: especially in twenty twenty two. And so that's like a
- 51:38Speaker 3: big one to be aware of, you know, around the world,
- 51:41Speaker 3: Like there is a change happening and it's a positive change.
- 51:44Speaker 3: And so my ignorance didn't help that movement, you know,
- 51:48Speaker 3: And I respect that and I understand that, and so
- 51:50Speaker 3: I want to make sure I can be more aware
- 51:52Speaker 3: of that. You know.
- 51:53Speaker 1: I love that. We love growth. I love a good growth.
- 51:56Speaker 3: Girlth it's also good for everyone else to learn these too.
- 52:01Speaker 3: Don't make the same mistake card. It's hard to say
- 52:03Speaker 3: that learn from all the people, but that's why we
- 52:05Speaker 3: get to talk about it.
- 52:06Speaker 1: Yes, we're all out in these streets, just doing the best.
- 52:08Speaker 3: We fund swing it.
- 52:11Speaker 1: To survive. I love it, Rock. Thank you so much
- 52:14Speaker 1: for being on the podcast being so open about your past.
- 52:17Speaker 1: You're a fucking champion, dude.
- 52:19Speaker 3: Love you, honey. It's been great. Thanks for talking. And uh,
- 52:21Speaker 3: let's live on the summer. It's gonna be a good summer.
- 52:24Speaker 1: I love it. We're headed to Mexico. I love you
- 52:26Speaker 1: guys so much. I'll catch you next week.
