- 0:13Speaker 1: Hi, guys, welcome back. It's I Do Part two, the
- 0:16Speaker 1: podcast all about finding love the second time around, and
- 0:20Speaker 1: I am one of your celebrity mentors, Jen Fessler, and
- 0:23Speaker 1: I am joined by my fellow mentor, the beautiful Kelly
- 0:26Speaker 1: ben Simone. Hi Cal Hi. So you guys, today is
- 0:30Speaker 1: very very exciting because we have one of the fabulous
- 0:34Speaker 1: women from the new Bravo show which is my actually
- 0:37Speaker 1: new obsession, and it is called Love Hotel. I hope
- 0:40Speaker 1: you all already have heard of it. So this podcast
- 0:45Speaker 1: is all about finding love again, and so is Love Hotel.
- 0:50Speaker 1: And we have to talk to today one of the stars,
- 0:54Speaker 1: and I just know you know who she is. Hello
- 0:57Speaker 1: Ashley Darby, Hello Ji, Hello beautiful Ashley Darby. I just
- 1:02Speaker 1: I have to start by telling you I'm obsessed, and
- 1:06Speaker 1: I'm obsessed. It's a very strange thing because I haven't
- 1:08Speaker 1: been obsessed with a new Bravo show for a while.
- 1:11Speaker 1: I obviously I watch it all, but I have to
- 1:14Speaker 1: say I love Crappy like I got a little obsessed
- 1:17Speaker 1: there too, too loved, but this is so fabulous and
- 1:22Speaker 1: if I'm being completely honest, I didn't expect it.
- 1:24Speaker 2: I did not, right, I didn't either.
- 1:26Speaker 3: Okay, what did you guys expect?
- 1:28Speaker 1: I don't maybe because it's like on the heels also
- 1:30Speaker 1: of like the Golden Bachelor, and I just I've seen
- 1:34Speaker 1: so much this was And also when you think housewives,
- 1:36Speaker 1: you think nastiness and conflict and bloody, and this is
- 1:42Speaker 1: not that. This is like sisterhood and it's fun and
- 1:46Speaker 1: you guys are bonded and you could just tell there's
- 1:49Speaker 1: chemistry and the guys are fat. I don't know. It
- 1:52Speaker 1: is good, I know.
- 1:53Speaker 3: And that's actually why we were so excited to do it,
- 1:55Speaker 3: because having come from the housewife world where you can't
- 1:58Speaker 3: really share who you are some it's like your little
- 2:01Speaker 3: trebidacious to be like, oh, this is what I'm feeling
- 2:04Speaker 3: at the Love Hotel. It was very much encouraged, you know,
- 2:07Speaker 3: and it was so supportive. And even though we're all
- 2:09Speaker 3: very different, Luiyne, Shannon Gaselle and I like, we're so different,
- 2:12Speaker 3: but we all had the same common goal, which was
- 2:15Speaker 3: finding love.
- 2:15Speaker 1: It feels like, yeah, just clicked. Also, and you did
- 2:17Speaker 1: it at Grand Vealis, which is one of my all
- 2:19Speaker 1: time favorite resorts in Mexico.
- 2:22Speaker 2: So gorgeous and the way the sun would hit.
- 2:25Speaker 4: The ball with the Flowers, but like everything from like
- 2:28Speaker 4: the lighting of the show, all of you guys, like
- 2:31Speaker 4: it was just the dynamic between everyone. Like I was
- 2:34Speaker 4: watching it and I was just like, oh my god,
- 2:36Speaker 4: this is a great show and you are really really
- 2:39Speaker 4: compelling and you're just very there's something about you on
- 2:43Speaker 4: the show that is like we're rooting for you, like
- 2:47Speaker 4: we really really really want to even if you don't
- 2:50Speaker 4: know your past, Like the way that you handle yourself
- 2:52Speaker 4: in the show, Like I was like, she's gonna find it.
- 2:56Speaker 4: Just get one of these guys is going to be
- 2:58Speaker 4: that person. And just like the way you are in
- 3:00Speaker 4: your own journey right now of like taking your time
- 3:04Speaker 4: and making good decisions that are good for you and
- 3:06Speaker 4: your family, like I'm getting Chelsea. I just like loved
- 3:09Speaker 4: that because, like you, it just really resonates. It's like
- 3:12Speaker 4: people are like, oh my god, you want to find love. No,
- 3:14Speaker 4: it's not necessarily finding love. It's you know, it's really
- 3:18Speaker 4: about that connection and about making things that are right
- 3:21Speaker 4: for you at that time.
- 3:22Speaker 3: Right, and with social beings, what is wrong with wanting love?
- 3:25Speaker 3: There's actually nothing wrong with it, right, And we've all
- 3:28Speaker 3: shared our stories very publicly, all four of us, so
- 3:32Speaker 3: I think people are also invested in seeing us have
- 3:34Speaker 3: a bit of a happy ending.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, I really loved and I don't want to.
- 3:39Speaker 1: I don't want to give way any spoilers. But in
- 3:41Speaker 1: the most recent episode, you were talking about two particular
- 3:45Speaker 1: men and just really sort of seeing them, like kind
- 3:48Speaker 1: of hovering above and saying what makes sense here and
- 3:52Speaker 1: whether or not. I don't want to again, I don't
- 3:53Speaker 1: want to give anything away, but having that kind of
- 3:55Speaker 1: like foresight and that sort that comes with being through
- 4:00Speaker 1: and that comes with some age and saying yeah he's hot,
- 4:04Speaker 1: so is he? But hold on, what's the big picture here?
- 4:07Speaker 1: And I don't think you can do that until you've
- 4:10Speaker 1: like I it like my and I at twenty whatever.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Even if I was like, oh, look, how cute of you.
- 4:16Speaker 1: I love him.
- 4:16Speaker 5: I love him, shiny thing, this is the one.
- 4:20Speaker 2: He's my husband. No, but it's true.
- 4:22Speaker 3: And I have typically been with older men. I mean,
- 4:24Speaker 3: mix husband is sixty six this year, so it's that's
- 4:28Speaker 3: what I'm used to. But I really tried tilling into
- 4:30Speaker 3: dating more age appropriate men. You know, it's not really
- 4:34Speaker 3: my thing as much as I thought it was. Why
- 4:38Speaker 3: because with younger guys comes a different level of experience
- 4:43Speaker 3: and sophistication, and I'm just sort of used to a
- 4:46Speaker 3: man who's commandeering, right, who like, oh, assertive and dominates.
- 4:50Speaker 3: Maybe a little bit toxic in my own way, but
- 4:53Speaker 3: that's what I thought I was looking for. But Wile
- 4:56Speaker 3: did surprise me with having some of those traits and
- 4:58Speaker 3: still being so young, you know, thirty eight.
- 5:00Speaker 1: He's so cute.
- 5:02Speaker 2: I'm so cute.
- 5:03Speaker 1: When he came back to the room with the kit,
- 5:06Speaker 1: I was like, what do you mean, come in? Are
- 5:09Speaker 1: you still standing in the doorway?
- 5:11Speaker 3: So respectful. The guys were so respectful that they wanted
- 5:14Speaker 3: to consent to even like touch your hand, and I
- 5:17Speaker 3: was like, if we don't grab this hand, okay.
- 5:19Speaker 4: I also love that, just like the chivalry. You know,
- 5:22Speaker 4: do you think it's chivalry is dead or do you
- 5:24Speaker 4: think it's alive?
- 5:25Speaker 3: And well, well, at the Love Hotel was very much alive.
- 5:27Speaker 3: The guys were so just there for us emotionally, they
- 5:32Speaker 3: were very respectful. They asked about my kids. I mean,
- 5:34Speaker 3: people would ask about my kids every day, you know,
- 5:37Speaker 3: And I was very sad because I was missing them,
- 5:39Speaker 3: trying to be present in the moment because this is
- 5:41Speaker 3: a great opportunity. I've been asking Andy for literally three
- 5:44Speaker 3: years to put me on a love show, and finally
- 5:47Speaker 3: he did so. I you know, I wanted to be
- 5:49Speaker 3: fully there and present, and it was a little challenging.
- 5:51Speaker 3: But the guys would just like constantly reiterate how much
- 5:54Speaker 3: they like us, how much they support us, how much
- 5:56Speaker 3: they admire us as women and as mothers.
- 5:58Speaker 1: And Ashley, how long were you there? How long were
- 6:01Speaker 1: you going?
- 6:01Speaker 2: Three weeks?
- 6:02Speaker 1: So three weeks? No babies, You're baby's going to come right,
- 6:05Speaker 1: So yeah, no, that I had. Definitely you have young kids.
- 6:07Speaker 1: How old are your boys?
- 6:08Speaker 3: Three and five? But at that time they were three
- 6:11Speaker 3: and five. Now they're about to be four and six.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Yeah, still still babies. That's hard. And do you look
- 6:16Speaker 1: at did you sort of you looking at these guys
- 6:18Speaker 1: in terms of like, how would they do with the babies? Well,
- 6:22Speaker 1: my babies like them? Are they We always sort of
- 6:24Speaker 1: sat there for you for sure.
- 6:26Speaker 3: I Mean some of the guys have kids, like Ralph
- 6:27Speaker 3: has children. Wale doesn't have children, but he's a very
- 6:30Speaker 3: present uncle. So if you don't have kids on your own,
- 6:33Speaker 3: at least you can celebrate someone else's.
- 6:35Speaker 2: Yes, Yeah, do you think that's a red flag that
- 6:36Speaker 2: he doesn't have kids?
- 6:38Speaker 3: I mean, he's thirty eight, and I just I know
- 6:40Speaker 3: people are waiting longer these days.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Yeah, you know.
- 6:43Speaker 3: I mean I wanted to get married at twenty five
- 6:45Speaker 3: and I'm my first kid, but twenty seven, like, I
- 6:46Speaker 3: had a whole schedule, right, and I followed it pretty
- 6:49Speaker 3: much to the sea.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Oh my god, No, I tell my kids now, I
- 6:52Speaker 1: don't want to hear about it until you're thirty. Do
- 6:54Speaker 1: you not come to me with any news about anything
- 6:57Speaker 1: until you're thirty? Not that they give what I say,
- 7:00Speaker 1: what are.
- 7:00Speaker 4: Some of your non negotiables? Like, what are some of
- 7:02Speaker 4: the things You're like? No, these are the lines in
- 7:04Speaker 4: this well.
- 7:05Speaker 3: We did the game with Joel where we did our
- 7:07Speaker 3: red bricks, which were like the red flags and then
- 7:10Speaker 3: our green flags. Yes, so I was looking for consistency,
- 7:13Speaker 3: someone understands responsibility, someone who's packing in the pants, somebody
- 7:18Speaker 3: who just liked you.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Just say, did that? Did that slip out? What I
- 7:21Speaker 2: was like? Packing in packing? Yeah, packing in the pants.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Like I just was like, oh my god, I'm like,
- 7:29Speaker 2: is this a new single? Like am I?
- 7:30Speaker 1: It's like, I mean, I have to.
- 7:32Speaker 2: Say like a song.
- 7:33Speaker 1: You are younger than I am, and I know Kelly, like,
- 7:36Speaker 1: how old are you?
- 7:37Speaker 2: My age?
- 7:38Speaker 3: You're ageless girl, both of you.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Seriously, I mean this one is actually pant packing. No,
- 7:44Speaker 1: I'm just saying I have a feeling. I know what
- 7:46Speaker 1: it is, and it would be the last thing I
- 7:47Speaker 1: would be looking. He has a big dick.
- 7:52Speaker 3: He's like, yeah, I told Shannon, I taught her this
- 7:56Speaker 3: saying of get your back broken, get your back broke.
- 7:59Speaker 3: So so that's what that means. So Shannon, would you
- 8:02Speaker 3: get more mysterious?
- 8:03Speaker 1: So in other words, he should be able to ride you? Yes, okay,
- 8:08Speaker 1: got it.
- 8:08Speaker 3: So Shannon was like, back but broke.
- 8:12Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, it wasn't.
- 8:13Speaker 3: Now she gets it and she'll be like, Ashley, got
- 8:15Speaker 3: in your back broke lately?
- 8:16Speaker 1: Wow? But it's ok though, Is that like a big thing?
- 8:19Speaker 1: Like you want to know? Like what if he's not
- 8:20Speaker 1: great in bed at the beginning? That's it got to
- 8:23Speaker 1: say goodbye.
- 8:24Speaker 3: That's why you know. I'm all about like waiting and
- 8:26Speaker 3: all that. But you sort of got to get that
- 8:28Speaker 3: out of the way in the beginning.
- 8:29Speaker 1: That's so interesting. Would you care about that cow? Not
- 8:33Speaker 1: that he wouldn't care everybody would care.
- 8:34Speaker 2: I mean, I've had it.
- 8:35Speaker 4: I've had so many different relationships where I was like
- 8:38Speaker 4: so in love with being in love, and then some
- 8:41Speaker 4: other relationships where I was just so I was just like.
- 8:44Speaker 2: I love the sex.
- 8:46Speaker 4: So now I'm trying to like take my time, uh
- 8:50Speaker 4: and just kind of see what's going on and see like,
- 8:52Speaker 4: am I excited to talk to him like, you know,
- 8:55Speaker 4: after like a couple of weeks versus just like having
- 8:58Speaker 4: sex and then being like oh my god, no, No.
- 9:00Speaker 1: I just I think like at your age, I was
- 9:02Speaker 1: probably definitely that would have been key. I just think
- 9:05Speaker 1: if I was single now, of course it's definitely important.
- 9:08Speaker 1: I don't need to minimize it, but I don't know
- 9:11Speaker 1: that it would it would like I always think, well
- 9:13Speaker 1: we could work that part out, Like I don't know
- 9:15Speaker 1: that it would be a no togo really.
- 9:18Speaker 3: I just yeah again, I mean, I'm thirty six and long.
- 9:22Speaker 2: You know, you're young.
- 9:24Speaker 3: Apparently the forties are where things really start getting more exciting.
- 9:27Speaker 3: So I need somebody who can keep up.
- 9:29Speaker 1: I can hear that, at least hear that in my forties.
- 9:31Speaker 1: I can totally I talk to fifty. You are you're
- 9:33Speaker 1: really yeah, you are young, You've been through a lot
- 9:35Speaker 1: for thirty six, you have.
- 9:37Speaker 3: I started dating Mike's husband at twenty one.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Oh my gosh.
- 9:40Speaker 3: Really yeah, so I was with him till I was
- 9:44Speaker 3: thirty three.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Wow.
- 9:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:46Speaker 2: So now when you're gone, when you're at Love Hotel
- 9:48Speaker 2: and you're meeting all.
- 9:49Speaker 4: These different guys, like you know, you've had you you know,
- 9:52Speaker 4: obviously married, you have children. Are when you are you
- 9:55Speaker 4: meeting these guys and being like comparing and contrasting and
- 9:57Speaker 4: being like, my access is better at this Like he
- 10:00Speaker 4: seems like that? Because does that go through your brain
- 10:03Speaker 4: or like are you just like okay, I am like
- 10:05Speaker 4: open and ready to find like a new guy.
- 10:07Speaker 2: What's your thought process?
- 10:09Speaker 4: You know?
- 10:09Speaker 3: No one's asked me that, Kelly. And that's interesting because
- 10:12Speaker 3: I want to feel like I'm healed and evolved to
- 10:14Speaker 3: the point that I don't do that. But I think
- 10:16Speaker 3: it's a human thing to use your past experiences to
- 10:20Speaker 3: judge and assess a situation. So I think, like, very subconsciously,
- 10:25Speaker 3: I did a little bit of comparing thinking because he
- 10:28Speaker 3: is a very Michael's a very charming, charismatic guy. He's
- 10:31Speaker 3: very take charge, you know, So that's sort of what
- 10:34Speaker 3: I was looking for, but then I had to remember
- 10:36Speaker 3: that relationship didn't work for a reason. So I have
- 10:39Speaker 3: to like think about the qualities that I do want
- 10:42Speaker 3: that I haven't really experienced yet maybe or that I
- 10:45Speaker 3: haven't found, and not keep thinking about the past and
- 10:48Speaker 3: comparing to the past.
- 10:49Speaker 4: Okay, now here's another question. So you're you're talking about
- 10:51Speaker 4: being evolved, So you're evolved. I'm trying, you know, emotionally
- 10:56Speaker 4: and professionally and socially, so you're a totally different person.
- 11:00Speaker 4: And then when you were twenty one, you know, you've
- 11:02Speaker 4: been on television for so long, you're recognizable. Do you
- 11:06Speaker 4: feel like being in that position was that Do you
- 11:10Speaker 4: feel like these guys were like we know who she is,
- 11:13Speaker 4: we know what this is going to be like do
- 11:15Speaker 4: you feel like that they were like jumping on that
- 11:18Speaker 4: train or do you feel like they were just like,
- 11:20Speaker 4: we want to meet you and celebrate your life.
- 11:24Speaker 3: Thankfully, they felt very authentic. I mean, I don't know
- 11:26Speaker 3: how the experience is for you dating, but I would
- 11:31Speaker 3: rather have maybe if they know my name, that's nice,
- 11:34Speaker 3: or maybe have like a general idea of who I am,
- 11:37Speaker 3: But if you know everything about me, like my blood
- 11:39Speaker 3: type and all that stuff. That's a red flag for me,
- 11:42Speaker 3: you know, like we need to have a little bit
- 11:43Speaker 3: of distance between us. And again, if you're a hardcore
- 11:46Speaker 3: Housewives fan, I'm wondering if you're my team, you know, I.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Have to say, yes, that's the whole thing. So that's
- 11:55Speaker 1: what I thought, right, Like hardcore Housewives fans, I'm picturing
- 11:59Speaker 1: well me and like, no, I'm serious about women around
- 12:03Speaker 1: my or a lot of gay men obviously, so, but guess.
- 12:06Speaker 2: What, I guess a lot of straight man that watch Housewise.
- 12:08Speaker 1: I didn't think so until I got on. No, I
- 12:12Speaker 1: didn't think so until I got on, and all of
- 12:13Speaker 1: a sudden my husband became a ridiculously obsessed Housewise. I
- 12:18Speaker 1: don't I'm not proud of this. By the way, he's obsessed, Okay,
- 12:21Speaker 1: I love it. I don't love it at all. Like
- 12:24Speaker 1: he thinks he's so cool and he's coming in he's like,
- 12:26Speaker 1: oh my god, I see Atlanta. He is not ok
- 12:30Speaker 1: He's a lot of things. He's a wonderful man, fabulous husband. Yeah,
- 12:33Speaker 1: cool is not one of them.
- 12:34Speaker 3: Moving on, But at least you're the conduit for that, right,
- 12:37Speaker 3: Like if you're watching him by himself, i'd be looking
- 12:39Speaker 3: at him in a good eye. But fair together is okay?
- 12:51Speaker 1: Do you believe that those guys, because I know they
- 12:53Speaker 1: mainly said that they hadn't watched it, they hadn't heard
- 12:55Speaker 1: of it. Did you believe them all?
- 12:57Speaker 3: Well, it came out later that one's aunt or mother
- 13:01Speaker 3: or something watched the show, so you know, in the beginning,
- 13:04Speaker 3: of course they said that. But the truth always comes
- 13:06Speaker 3: to light. And I felt a little some way that
- 13:08Speaker 3: he didn't tell me that from the beginning.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, don't tell us which who which he.
- 13:12Speaker 3: I'm not going to say, right and I want to know.
- 13:14Speaker 3: But he's a good guy. So so who did.
- 13:16Speaker 4: You most bond with and loved Hotel? Was it the
- 13:19Speaker 4: whin or like who is your?
- 13:21Speaker 1: Who is your?
- 13:23Speaker 3: Well, you know, Giselle and I are already really close,
- 13:25Speaker 3: but I've never seen Gizelle this way. I mean, Gazelle
- 13:27Speaker 3: has been my number one wing woman throughout the course
- 13:30Speaker 3: of my separation. I love her right and she's getting
- 13:32Speaker 3: better with tome.
- 13:33Speaker 2: She is so wildly beautiful.
- 13:36Speaker 4: I was thinking, I was like, that woman is the
- 13:37Speaker 4: most beautiful woe I've ever seen my entire life.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Like I was like, whoa well for you too, that
- 13:41Speaker 1: must be hard.
- 13:42Speaker 2: She's just around like.
- 13:46Speaker 4: She's just like really really really beautiful, and just like
- 13:49Speaker 4: she's very elegant human.
- 13:51Speaker 3: She is she is, and she knows her worth. That's
- 13:53Speaker 3: one thing I really appreciate about her that. Yeah, so
- 13:55Speaker 3: she doesn't expect or tolerate anything less than the best.
- 13:59Speaker 2: Because that's the she offer for you to have as
- 14:01Speaker 2: a friend. Totally.
- 14:02Speaker 4: But outside of your bestie, who did you like feel
- 14:05Speaker 4: like you could really like talk to and like drink
- 14:09Speaker 4: wine with and hang out and just be like, Okay,
- 14:11Speaker 4: this is the tea.
- 14:12Speaker 3: Well, you know, we had our off time and we
- 14:15Speaker 3: all got down with the get down. Put it that way.
- 14:17Speaker 3: But I would say that Luyanne was more of my
- 14:22Speaker 3: spirit animal. Yeah, Luyenne is who I foresee myself being
- 14:27Speaker 3: in the future.
- 14:27Speaker 1: Actually, do you ever watch her doing her cabaret When
- 14:30Speaker 1: I get in a bad mood. Sometimes if I'm down
- 14:33Speaker 1: about something, I just pick up the phone and I
- 14:35Speaker 1: go to TikTok and I type in Sarah's over there
- 14:37Speaker 1: laughing because she knows exactly what I'm saying. And I
- 14:40Speaker 1: type and I watch her on that stage doing her cabaret,
- 14:43Speaker 1: and immediately all as well with the bongos in the world.
- 14:47Speaker 2: Say, lev there's just nothing like it same.
- 14:50Speaker 3: We were singing that all around the hotel. Love it, Yes,
- 14:53Speaker 3: And then of course I got to know Shannon. Shannon
- 14:55Speaker 3: can be a little bit guarded, and she was also
- 14:57Speaker 3: going through a very challenging time because was actually airing
- 15:01Speaker 3: and it was the traumatic stuff that had happened to
- 15:04Speaker 3: her the previous year.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Oh wow, you see you think about it in context
- 15:08Speaker 1: like that.
- 15:09Speaker 4: Yeah, so it's been hard to be going through that
- 15:11Speaker 4: at the same time than you guys were filming.
- 15:14Speaker 3: But I think it was almost cathartic for her because
- 15:17Speaker 3: then we all knew what she was going through. We
- 15:18Speaker 3: can understand to a degree. So it was like and
- 15:21Speaker 3: we were in the bubble. There was really no outside influence,
- 15:24Speaker 3: no other friends, no kids, really not a lot of responsibilities,
- 15:28Speaker 3: so we were all able to just be there for
- 15:30Speaker 3: each other and focus on the process. And part of
- 15:32Speaker 3: the process, yes, was to find love, but it was
- 15:34Speaker 3: also to fortify friendships.
- 15:35Speaker 1: And I want to go to there and love hotel
- 15:37Speaker 1: so bad.
- 15:38Speaker 2: I love that I can't.
- 15:39Speaker 1: I mean, there's no do you know, friendship?
- 15:43Speaker 5: I had such a not to say that's for sure,
- 15:48Speaker 5: but you know what, I did, hope because I have
- 15:50Speaker 5: an evil side that like, maybe you guys were going
- 15:53Speaker 5: to fight more and I don't know, only three episodes.
- 15:55Speaker 1: In honesty, you go around a little bit.
- 15:58Speaker 3: Jen, just just hold type.
- 16:00Speaker 1: I'm sorry because I should not wish for that, but
- 16:03Speaker 1: I also am from a world of housewives. I can't
- 16:05Speaker 1: help it.
- 16:05Speaker 2: Well, but think about it.
- 16:06Speaker 3: I mean, the most eligible guy there who everybody had
- 16:09Speaker 3: their sights one was Ralph and all of us made
- 16:10Speaker 3: to play at Ralph. Yeah, so you can imagine how
- 16:12Speaker 3: that ends up.
- 16:13Speaker 1: Maybe, but don't you want to know? Like I want
- 16:15Speaker 1: to corner you when the mics are down. I have
- 16:18Speaker 1: to know what happened.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Jen's gonna be like tell me everything.
- 16:23Speaker 1: I'll get her later.
- 16:24Speaker 4: So what happened with you guys? Off camera? You said
- 16:27Speaker 4: you guys spent time together? Did you guys like like
- 16:30Speaker 4: we literally liked having drinks and having.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Fun or like well you know LeWinn Okay, I do know.
- 16:35Speaker 3: And so yeah, we we actually had some off days
- 16:40Speaker 3: because we had an earthquake and then hurricane back to back,
- 16:43Speaker 3: so we had two days off and it was not
- 16:46Speaker 3: in the plans. Everyone was like, we were all just
- 16:48Speaker 3: kind of antsy. So they let us out. They let
- 16:51Speaker 3: us off the reservation.
- 16:52Speaker 4: Wow.
- 16:53Speaker 3: And we went to this Mexican restaurant called Rosa something.
- 16:56Speaker 3: You may know it in Cabo. Shannon was raving about it,
- 16:58Speaker 3: and she was right. We were dancing on the table
- 17:02Speaker 3: like sparklers. It was just it was such a time.
- 17:06Speaker 2: I love that.
- 17:07Speaker 4: Wait, so when you guys went off campus, did that
- 17:10Speaker 4: like kind of ruin the vibe or did it like
- 17:13Speaker 4: like help nurture it. I think it was sort of
- 17:16Speaker 4: like when someone goes off and there it's like, oh, okay,
- 17:18Speaker 4: that that doesn't land so great.
- 17:20Speaker 2: No, you're right.
- 17:21Speaker 3: I mean, certainly you can sort of be like the
- 17:25Speaker 3: circumstances can make you almost like each other, but then
- 17:27Speaker 3: once you're out of the circumstances like, ooh, I don't
- 17:29Speaker 3: really like that person.
- 17:30Speaker 2: That wasn't the case.
- 17:31Speaker 1: No.
- 17:32Speaker 3: I mean we went shopping together. I need a conditioner
- 17:34Speaker 3: for my hair, and all the girls are like, oh, come,
- 17:36Speaker 3: and then we were doing a shopping trip to the
- 17:38Speaker 3: beauty supplies store. I mean, it was really like this
- 17:41Speaker 3: sisterhood that I didn't know could happen. And when I
- 17:45Speaker 3: went on the show, I really just thought I was
- 17:46Speaker 3: going to find a man like that was my main prerogative.
- 17:49Speaker 3: And then when I got to spend time with Shannon,
- 17:53Speaker 3: mainly Shannon because Shannon is a night out Okay, she
- 17:55Speaker 3: doesn't really sleep, So when I got to spend time
- 17:58Speaker 3: with Shannon at night, it was like, man, the other
- 18:00Speaker 3: reason I came here. Well, the thing is I go
- 18:03Speaker 3: to bed late and I wake up early. So it's
- 18:05Speaker 3: not the best combinations I ever.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Heard of in my life.
- 18:08Speaker 4: I know that was like that says stress like, but
- 18:11Speaker 4: I know I'm night.
- 18:14Speaker 1: Oh, I'm thank God. So I want to know something
- 18:20Speaker 1: just dumb, but I can help it now that we
- 18:21Speaker 1: have you here, Like, how did you pack for this?
- 18:23Speaker 1: Because these outfits I have to say, gorgeous you guys,
- 18:26Speaker 1: they are You did perfectly. I mean so far, it's
- 18:28Speaker 1: only been three episodes. Maybe there will be a up somewhere,
- 18:31Speaker 1: but you, so far it is you guys are on point.
- 18:33Speaker 1: They are so gorgeous. These dresses, they are tropical. They
- 18:36Speaker 1: were beautiful. I want to say, all four of you,
- 18:39Speaker 1: maybe even a step up from House, Like I'm not
- 18:43Speaker 1: saying you first, okay, I was.
- 18:48Speaker 4: I just thought I was just like esthetically I was
- 18:50Speaker 4: watching it, and I was like.
- 18:52Speaker 1: God, it's really beautiful. Like your outfa were just to
- 18:54Speaker 1: die for. You're not on you're on a resort on
- 18:56Speaker 1: housewives and tropical resource. Sure doing your thing, You're running around,
- 18:59Speaker 1: you take carry your kids. But was there a stylist
- 19:02Speaker 1: in Bogs? You guys looked amazing.
- 19:04Speaker 3: We all had a little bit of help at home
- 19:06Speaker 3: before we came, but we never knew what was happening.
- 19:09Speaker 3: So they did tell us preemptively, like, hey, there will
- 19:12Speaker 3: be some of these themes. So there was like wear
- 19:15Speaker 3: a sparkly dress, right, you know, where's something you might
- 19:19Speaker 3: wear that's like Fiesta Mexican theme. Right, So we had
- 19:22Speaker 3: some direction, but it was actually a lot of fun
- 19:25Speaker 3: packing and wearing things that I knew would be a
- 19:27Speaker 3: little sexy and show a little skin.
- 19:29Speaker 1: How was the room? How was just was it comfortable?
- 19:31Speaker 3: Were you well, you know, oh my gosh, it's divine.
- 19:35Speaker 3: Everything was so beautiful. The food was great too, amazing.
- 19:39Speaker 3: I mean I didn't I wanted to leave, but also
- 19:41Speaker 3: I didn't want to leave, you know, it was bittersweet
- 19:43Speaker 3: when we left went home.
- 19:44Speaker 1: I mean I would I would never want When you
- 19:46Speaker 1: guys went to for Ultimate Girls, you went to bart Oh.
- 19:50Speaker 4: Yeah, it's different because it's like five women or you
- 19:54Speaker 4: know whatever, six women on a woman's trip. This is
- 19:57Speaker 4: like looking for love and like to your point, you're
- 20:00Speaker 4: like dressing sexy, feeling good about yourself. There's you know,
- 20:04Speaker 4: your children aren't there, Like all of your work stuff
- 20:06Speaker 4: isn't there.
- 20:07Speaker 3: I mean, this is right up your alley, baby, Like
- 20:12Speaker 3: you need to be here.
- 20:12Speaker 4: Well, I was supposed to go to meet with Luanne
- 20:15Speaker 4: and like meet her like you know, her new man friends,
- 20:18Speaker 4: and like go through it with her. But I couldn't
- 20:20Speaker 4: excite something else to do, and so I was like,
- 20:24Speaker 4: oh my god, this is gonna be so much money.
- 20:26Speaker 2: She's like the best time.
- 20:28Speaker 5: Love this.
- 20:29Speaker 4: I was like, oh my god, someone I'll be like,
- 20:32Speaker 4: I'll take him.
- 20:33Speaker 1: I love because.
- 20:36Speaker 2: It was an invader. It's Kelly.
- 20:38Speaker 1: Kelly had some time with some of the Golden Bachelors
- 20:40Speaker 1: from that show I have had. She has some interesting
- 20:43Speaker 1: moments with a few of those. She played dating game
- 20:45Speaker 1: with them. But I think it's the French guy. Was
- 20:48Speaker 1: he one of the yes.
- 20:49Speaker 2: Pascal other ones? Yes, Okay.
- 20:52Speaker 4: I love fun with the Golden Bachelors are so so fun.
- 20:56Speaker 4: They're dynamic, they are very dynamic. Yeah, they are are
- 21:00Speaker 4: actually sensational.
- 21:01Speaker 1: Do you guys feel like though it's like The Golden Bachelor,
- 21:04Speaker 1: I do Part two, all of this stuff is there's
- 21:07Speaker 1: a I feel like this resurgence, there's something I feel like,
- 21:10Speaker 1: there's so much agism. Of course I think that I'm whatever,
- 21:13Speaker 1: I'm older, but I feel like there's so much agism,
- 21:15Speaker 1: not just in you know, society, but like specifically even
- 21:18Speaker 1: sometimes in reality TV. And I think, like all of
- 21:23Speaker 1: this is so cool because I find it so much
- 21:26Speaker 1: more interesting to watch Love Hotel, for instance, then let's
- 21:29Speaker 1: say Bachelor in Paradise, Like I've seen that, been there,
- 21:33Speaker 1: done that. Well I haven't been there, done that, but like,
- 21:36Speaker 1: I love this stuff. It's very cool to see women
- 21:38Speaker 1: who have been through stuff of a certain agent. Again,
- 21:40Speaker 1: now you're way younger, but still like watching. You know,
- 21:44Speaker 1: I don't know how old is Giselle. She seems younger. Also,
- 21:48Speaker 1: shann is like my age, right, shann is right, and
- 21:52Speaker 1: Luanne is my age to our age pretty much right.
- 21:54Speaker 1: It's cool to watch these women in these scenarios the
- 21:57Speaker 1: way they're handling it.
- 21:58Speaker 3: You know, because also you have some baggage like bringing
- 22:02Speaker 3: and that comes out and we have to talk about it.
- 22:05Speaker 3: And even that tiff between Early and Shannon was about
- 22:08Speaker 3: some of the things that Earl had experienced that was
- 22:11Speaker 3: triggered by something Shannon said, right, right, and even Shannon
- 22:15Speaker 3: maybe not even being super self aware about some of
- 22:17Speaker 3: the things she was doing because of her past relationship.
- 22:20Speaker 3: So it really put all of us under a microscope, like, right,
- 22:22Speaker 3: this is what I also bring.
- 22:23Speaker 4: You know, it's interesting you just said that about about
- 22:25Speaker 4: being triggered, and I feel like, you know, I have younger,
- 22:28Speaker 4: younger kids without younger, but they're in their you know,
- 22:31Speaker 4: their twenties and they're like out there dating, but they
- 22:35Speaker 4: never talk about stuff like this. They never talk about
- 22:37Speaker 4: this guy triggering me or that happening. And I feel like,
- 22:40Speaker 4: to Jen's point, it's so much more exciting and interesting
- 22:45Speaker 4: to date at our age where you're unbiased, but like
- 22:49Speaker 4: because just like you were more interested in, like what
- 22:54Speaker 4: what affected your partner and like how you can help,
- 22:58Speaker 4: you know, help them through the that you know, all
- 23:00Speaker 4: of those things, and whether that's you know, just listening
- 23:05Speaker 4: or you know, being a you know, good sounding board
- 23:07Speaker 4: or you know whatever giving them good advice, but like
- 23:10Speaker 4: it doesn't happen when you're younger. And I also think
- 23:12Speaker 4: for you, which is fascinating is that you have dated
- 23:16Speaker 4: and be ben had relationships with men of different ages.
- 23:19Speaker 4: And how you're so open to doing something totally different
- 23:22Speaker 4: from what you're used to and you're being out of
- 23:24Speaker 4: your comfort zone, I think is so cool. And it's
- 23:27Speaker 4: also different than what we had before.
- 23:30Speaker 1: You also were married to two men that was considerably older. Yes,
- 23:33Speaker 1: so would you do would you look for that again?
- 23:35Speaker 2: No?
- 23:36Speaker 4: No? Yeah, I agree. I think it's I mean nothing
- 23:39Speaker 4: nothing against I'm not here to bash people, but like
- 23:42Speaker 4: when I met Pascal with and Jen was on my date.
- 23:49Speaker 2: Jen was on my date, was like, don't ask her
- 23:53Speaker 2: that that's not a.
- 23:54Speaker 1: Free way, not a three wheel, go on.
- 23:57Speaker 2: A three wheel?
- 23:58Speaker 1: No, that was not match.
- 24:00Speaker 4: When Jen was on my day and he'd just come
- 24:02Speaker 4: from Bachelor Nation and he's such a nice guy from
- 24:05Speaker 4: Illinois and I'm from Illinois, and you know, he's French,
- 24:08Speaker 4: and he was talking about being a he's a hairdresser,
- 24:10Speaker 4: but he was talking about being photographer and I was like,
- 24:13Speaker 4: I'm sorry, no, I can't do this.
- 24:14Speaker 2: I saw you John, I was like I can't.
- 24:16Speaker 4: I just yeah, And then telling me how he's going
- 24:18Speaker 4: to do all these romantic things, and I was like, Jen,
- 24:20Speaker 4: this is not going to work out.
- 24:21Speaker 1: I can totally hear that from both of you. You wouldn't
- 24:24Speaker 1: want to maybe get back, you know what I mean? Like, Yeah,
- 24:37Speaker 1: if I was single now, I would only want to
- 24:40Speaker 1: date guys that were considerably older. I would be open, obviously,
- 24:44Speaker 1: because you have to be, but I would I mean,
- 24:46Speaker 1: my husband is sixty two. I'm fifty six, so but
- 24:49Speaker 1: I would look right into the seventies. I'd be all
- 24:52Speaker 1: about that.
- 24:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm got a call false on that note. You know,
- 24:56Speaker 3: I see you do in your tone and like a
- 24:58Speaker 3: nice little late thirties.
- 25:02Speaker 2: I have seen you say that now.
- 25:04Speaker 3: And you know, obviously I don't anything to happen with
- 25:06Speaker 3: you in your house.
- 25:07Speaker 1: I appreciate that.
- 25:09Speaker 3: I just think you might be a little curious.
- 25:11Speaker 1: I don't listen. I did my thing.
- 25:13Speaker 2: I was.
- 25:13Speaker 1: Believe me when I tell you, and I mean, I'm,
- 25:17Speaker 1: you know, hosting this podcast. I do part two even
- 25:19Speaker 1: though I've been married, because I was separated for like
- 25:20Speaker 1: a year and a half, and I dipped my toe
- 25:23Speaker 1: a lot, and I did my toe as a young
- 25:25Speaker 1: person a lot too much. I hope my kids aren't listening,
- 25:28Speaker 1: but no, you gotta live. I lived, I lived in
- 25:31Speaker 1: that sense, and I just feel like at this point
- 25:33Speaker 1: in my life, what I want is and again I
- 25:35Speaker 1: don't actually you're younger, like I feel like we're I
- 25:38Speaker 1: don't want to. You know, this was not for you
- 25:39Speaker 1: about necessarily being an older person. It was about doing
- 25:42Speaker 1: it again. You're an old soul. You started at twenty one. Yeah,
- 25:45Speaker 1: most definitely, so the age might not is doesn't necessarily correspond,
- 25:48Speaker 1: but like you comment things with a different vantage point, right.
- 25:52Speaker 1: But if I was doing again, what I would want
- 25:54Speaker 1: is what I have now, which is peace. I would
- 25:56Speaker 1: want a brand somebody who you guys talk a lot
- 25:59Speaker 1: about want to laugh. I'd want to be able to
- 26:01Speaker 1: laugh with that person. My husband is not that funny,
- 26:03Speaker 1: but I am and he laughs, so like whatever balance, yes,
- 26:06Speaker 1: but I would just want it to be you know,
- 26:10Speaker 1: so sounds so tripe like best friends. Like he'd have
- 26:14Speaker 1: to have a certain amount of money. I'm just being honest.
- 26:16Speaker 1: I'm not there's problem, by the way, is what it is. Yes,
- 26:20Speaker 1: And he'd have to be easy, and he'd have to
- 26:23Speaker 1: be funny and kind and I don't know that he
- 26:26Speaker 1: need to have a what is he?
- 26:27Speaker 2: Would you say packing in the pants?
- 26:28Speaker 1: I don't know that you have to be packing in
- 26:29Speaker 1: the pants.
- 26:30Speaker 2: Yeah, I vibrator pack something in your pants in.
- 26:37Speaker 3: Your bag, Kara, Yeah no, I like I like the flesh.
- 26:40Speaker 3: You know, I was riding with you for a long
- 26:41Speaker 3: time till you got to that part. But you know,
- 26:44Speaker 3: I mean, and it's not a shallow thing. I think
- 26:46Speaker 3: I'm just more self And I think another thing too,
- 26:49Speaker 3: is at you know, this evolved time, this evolution, I'm
- 26:53Speaker 3: able to vocalize what I want and.
- 26:56Speaker 1: Before I wasn't.
- 26:57Speaker 3: I felt maybe a little self conscious, being like this
- 26:59Speaker 3: is what I need from you. This is how I
- 27:00Speaker 3: need you to love me.
- 27:01Speaker 1: It's different, you know.
- 27:02Speaker 2: But what about you talked about kids.
- 27:05Speaker 4: So let's say one of these guys is like, I
- 27:08Speaker 4: am so crazy about you and I want to have
- 27:10Speaker 4: a child.
- 27:13Speaker 2: The record stops.
- 27:16Speaker 1: Unless it was really packing in the pants.
- 27:20Speaker 2: Back in the band, just like, okay, you're a try pod.
- 27:24Speaker 2: It's fine, right? Did I say that loud? Yes?
- 27:28Speaker 3: Bral on the same patrio.
- 27:31Speaker 2: Yeah no.
- 27:31Speaker 3: The It's also a very big financial thing because you know.
- 27:35Speaker 1: Kids are not cheap.
- 27:37Speaker 3: You know, I'm paying twenty thousand dollars for preschool Montessori like.
- 27:40Speaker 2: We just waiting, just wait till they go to college.
- 27:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:43Speaker 4: No, see, I just finished everything. I'm like, oh god,
- 27:46Speaker 4: I was like wow. I was like, I was like,
- 27:48Speaker 4: oh my god, I'm just going to buy those shoes,
- 27:49Speaker 4: and I just don't. I'm not like, oh my god,
- 27:51Speaker 4: I can't buy those shoes.
- 27:53Speaker 1: Stop bragging my kids. In law school, we never paid
- 27:55Speaker 1: more for Oh my god.
- 27:57Speaker 3: It's a good investment.
- 27:57Speaker 2: It's an investment.
- 27:58Speaker 1: You don't think about it that way, but still fair enough.
- 28:01Speaker 2: I really like shoes. Yeah. So singing, Yes, I watched
- 28:09Speaker 2: this video of you singing. You have a beautiful voice.
- 28:13Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 28:13Speaker 2: Oh my god. I enjoy it a lot. Did you
- 28:16Speaker 2: and Luanne sing on the show together? Yes, we did
- 28:21Speaker 2: sing guys singing something to live for. Oh my god.
- 28:27Speaker 3: I don't know if it's on camera now and I think.
- 28:29Speaker 2: Of it, but you're wearing a fedora is all I
- 28:31Speaker 2: want to know.
- 28:31Speaker 3: Yes, So I went into Luane's room and she fitted
- 28:34Speaker 3: me in the door and a fedora that fit my
- 28:36Speaker 3: face oh wow, and my bone structure.
- 28:38Speaker 2: Okay.
- 28:39Speaker 3: She was very intentional about that.
- 28:42Speaker 4: Jam Sash, Duane and I were in Morocco. We she
- 28:46Speaker 4: had she shared Her room was right next to mine,
- 28:48Speaker 4: and at night we were just She'd be like, what
- 28:50Speaker 4: are you doing. I'm like, I'm just laying bad. She's
- 28:52Speaker 4: like come over. I'm like okay, I'm like, I'm in
- 28:53Speaker 4: my underwear. She's like, fine, coming. We would literally sit
- 28:55Speaker 4: there in our underwear, drinking wine. I was like, you, guys,
- 28:57Speaker 4: you're missing everything we're in. I was in like, we're
- 29:01Speaker 4: like no clothes and we're having the best time. And
- 29:04Speaker 4: I mean, she's she's a great.
- 29:06Speaker 1: I'm just wondering why you both didn't have clothes on
- 29:09Speaker 1: because I clo It was like, yeah, like in my
- 29:13Speaker 1: underwear and I'm seeing lots of wine and Kelly and
- 29:15Speaker 1: Luanne unclothed.
- 29:17Speaker 2: Yeah, lots lot of money for a lot of money.
- 29:20Speaker 2: What was it? What were the songs you guys were saying?
- 29:22Speaker 2: Can we get? Can we get? Like a couple of hones?
- 29:23Speaker 3: I can't even remember. We would just like jam out.
- 29:26Speaker 3: She would like put a song on and she started
- 29:28Speaker 3: singing and dancing in our bathing suits. So pretty close to.
- 29:32Speaker 4: You, guys, Yeah, exactly, so same vibe, Yeah, same vibe. Actually,
- 29:35Speaker 4: you had a Fedora on didn't count.
- 29:38Speaker 1: I'm like the Queen of shallow questions sometimes, but I
- 29:41Speaker 1: have to know how do you have that body? I mean,
- 29:44Speaker 1: what do you do? What are you doing?
- 29:45Speaker 4: Like?
- 29:45Speaker 1: Are you working out like a crazy person? What is
- 29:47Speaker 1: going on?
- 29:48Speaker 2: We have a lot of sex. Hello? Is that you know?
- 29:50Speaker 2: I do have a glow about me.
- 29:51Speaker 3: Yes, I I do work out a lot. I work
- 29:55Speaker 3: out four to five days a week. Yeah, it's just
- 29:58Speaker 3: I don't know. Since I was twelve, been doing it
- 30:00Speaker 3: me too.
- 30:01Speaker 2: I just like it. I don't do it.
- 30:02Speaker 4: Everyone's like, you want to be skinny. I'm like, actually no,
- 30:04Speaker 4: I like just be fitting in my brain like yeah, booty,
- 30:08Speaker 4: but okay, and building that booty exactly.
- 30:10Speaker 2: I just had squatted before. I had a red light
- 30:11Speaker 2: mascot and I was like, squat squad. I'm like, oh, deeper.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Hello. We were away in health. I got to this
- 30:15Speaker 1: hotel next morning. She had to catch an early plane
- 30:18Speaker 1: and she's like, no, I'm at the gym. I'm like,
- 30:19Speaker 1: you're at the what.
- 30:20Speaker 2: I just just like I like it before we leave.
- 30:24Speaker 4: First of all, you are gorgeous and sweet and kind
- 30:27Speaker 4: and you and I met in the elevator and I
- 30:29Speaker 4: was just like, who are you?
- 30:30Speaker 2: I was like, we need to be friends and I
- 30:32Speaker 2: love you.
- 30:33Speaker 1: Do you remember where we met the first time? Overwhelmed? No,
- 30:36Speaker 1: wasn't Teresa's wedding. Yes, not her wedding at her wedding
- 30:40Speaker 1: show shower shower.
- 30:42Speaker 3: Yes, because you guys were filming them.
- 30:43Speaker 1: Yeah, you're filming it.
- 30:44Speaker 2: Yeah. It is such a sister the Housewives.
- 30:47Speaker 4: I mean, it's so great, but I have to ask you,
- 30:48Speaker 4: what are your thoughts on New York as a fellow
- 30:52Speaker 4: O G like and a big, big, big New York housewife.
- 30:56Speaker 4: It made me really upset to watch them. I'm just like,
- 30:58Speaker 4: first of all, you don't have jobs, so like I
- 31:01Speaker 4: had a job when I was on Housewife, I had
- 31:03Speaker 4: young children, like we had like a really I had
- 31:05Speaker 4: a very very strong narrative and I'm not wasn't pushing
- 31:09Speaker 4: a brand like at all, and so it was just
- 31:12Speaker 4: very weird. It was like, well, me and my brand,
- 31:14Speaker 4: I'm like, I don't even know what brand you're talking about.
- 31:16Speaker 2: I'm an influencer for whom, Like, I don't even know
- 31:19Speaker 2: what what does that mean?
- 31:20Speaker 4: Like, we don't like we had real people like Luanne
- 31:23Speaker 4: and I had met in the Hampton's multiple times. I mean, yes,
- 31:27Speaker 4: Bethany had come to my house and was, yeah, looking
- 31:29Speaker 4: through all my things, true story, but you know, like
- 31:33Speaker 4: that we had some kind of connection between us, and I.
- 31:37Speaker 2: Just felt that was super disconnected. I tried.
- 31:39Speaker 4: I tried to watch it, and I tried to be like,
- 31:42Speaker 4: you know, like supportive, but I couldn't.
- 31:46Speaker 1: I was just I didn't see any kind of real
- 31:48Speaker 1: uh kinship. I didn't see any real connection. I don't
- 31:52Speaker 1: think any of it was lat like. And again, I
- 31:55Speaker 1: loved a couple of those women that I got.
- 31:57Speaker 4: I know Jenna, I worked with her like one hundred
- 31:59Speaker 4: years a go, and Uber and I are friends, so
- 32:01Speaker 4: it's not like I don't know some of these women.
- 32:03Speaker 4: But I just was like they needed like someone to
- 32:06Speaker 4: be like, you guys should talk about this.
- 32:09Speaker 1: I didn't see. I just didn't see any kind of clicking.
- 32:12Speaker 1: I know they didn't. I didn't, And it wasn't fun
- 32:14Speaker 1: It wasn't funny.
- 32:15Speaker 3: Well, it seemed like maybe the ladies were editing themselves
- 32:17Speaker 3: a little bit too much too. I mean, you have
- 32:19Speaker 3: to be willing to make a fool of yourself to
- 32:21Speaker 3: a degree because you're not always going to be perfect
- 32:24Speaker 3: You're not always going to have your makeup and your
- 32:25Speaker 3: hair right. You're gonna say dumb stuff right, So you
- 32:28Speaker 3: just have to be prepared to go through that and
- 32:30Speaker 3: to be present.
- 32:31Speaker 4: But I also love like you and Giselle are really
- 32:34Speaker 4: really good friends, and you guys are working together and
- 32:36Speaker 4: you do all these things together. I mean, like Jen
- 32:39Speaker 4: and I met through Housewives and we've become really good friends.
- 32:41Speaker 2: We have we have so much fun together.
- 32:44Speaker 4: And I I've met so many I've met so I
- 32:47Speaker 4: have so many like Sutton and I.
- 32:49Speaker 2: Are really really good friends.
- 32:50Speaker 4: Obviously, Luanne and I are really good friends. I mean
- 32:52Speaker 4: I have so many friends that are from even before
- 32:55Speaker 4: they were housewives, and you know now they were so
- 32:58Speaker 4: much closer.
- 32:59Speaker 2: But it is such a it's such a sorority. I mean,
- 33:02Speaker 2: it really really is. And I'm just so happy that
- 33:05Speaker 2: you had the best time in love. Hope.
- 33:06Speaker 4: We want you to find love because you know what
- 33:08Speaker 4: you deserve it and living well and finding love is
- 33:10Speaker 4: the best revenge.
- 33:11Speaker 1: Yes, I have to say, and I know this is shallow,
- 33:13Speaker 1: but like, I'm so not worried about you Ashley Darby,
- 33:16Speaker 1: Hell about.
- 33:17Speaker 2: Her not just.
- 33:20Speaker 1: Look at her and you should by the way you
- 33:22Speaker 1: should enjoy this single time because it ain't gonna last.
- 33:26Speaker 2: Oh I'm fifty seven. It's lasting.
- 33:28Speaker 1: It's not lasting. It's not a couple.
- 33:30Speaker 3: I mean, I am a lover girl. So I'm trying
- 33:33Speaker 3: to like you my wits about me a little bit
- 33:34Speaker 3: because that can fall and fall hard and fast.
- 33:36Speaker 2: You know me too. I'm trying to not do that too.
- 33:38Speaker 1: I'm trying to be like, yeah.
- 33:41Speaker 3: Your friends have to keep you accountable. So Jen's gonna
- 33:43Speaker 3: help you make sure that you keep your priorities right.
- 33:46Speaker 3: You know, you need to do your non negotiables list.
- 33:48Speaker 3: I worked with a confidence coach, Yeah, and she made
- 33:50Speaker 3: me write down like the things that I was looking for,
- 33:53Speaker 3: but to the finest details. Share share Share like about
- 33:57Speaker 3: teeth and breath is a breath was like number two
- 34:02Speaker 3: on the list.
- 34:03Speaker 1: I think it's because I have had in my life
- 34:05Speaker 1: like chronic calatosis, Like I've been very I'm always conscious
- 34:08Speaker 1: of it because there was I went through a phase
- 34:09Speaker 1: when I first got veneers no where I was like,
- 34:12Speaker 1: I felt like the people that were closest to me,
- 34:14Speaker 1: so I appreciate, like, dude, you got bad breath. And
- 34:16Speaker 1: I became so self conscious of it but now, and
- 34:20Speaker 1: I mean, I'm very conscious of it, and when someone
- 34:22Speaker 1: has bad breath it almost pisses me off. It's like,
- 34:24Speaker 1: because you can do something about it, how dare you.
- 34:27Speaker 2: I don't brush your tongue.
- 34:28Speaker 4: Get a listing thing, go to the doctor, go to
- 34:30Speaker 4: the doctor.
- 34:31Speaker 2: Figure at the pH like, you can do it bio.
- 34:35Speaker 3: But you know, there's this other thing. It's like the
- 34:37Speaker 3: pheromones where it's not even your breath.
- 34:38Speaker 2: It's just like.
- 34:41Speaker 3: No, but it's not like must or anything. It's just
- 34:44Speaker 3: like your natural scent. Right, there was a guy and
- 34:47Speaker 3: I went in to kiss him and then I paused
- 34:49Speaker 3: right before because his pheromones hit me and my nose
- 34:52Speaker 3: scrunched up, and I was like, I'm about facing right now.
- 34:56Speaker 1: Yes, I think you'm being very kind. I think you
- 34:58Speaker 1: probably had body odor. But no, what.
- 35:00Speaker 2: That is or anything? No, no, no, it's like it's pheromones.
- 35:04Speaker 4: And it's interesting because they that's why everyone in the
- 35:08Speaker 4: fifties like they were together because they had these pheromos.
- 35:10Speaker 4: They were they were put together, but then they stayed
- 35:12Speaker 4: together because they're like, we're going to make kids. And
- 35:14Speaker 4: then you know, in the seventies you are like I'm
- 35:17Speaker 4: on the pill. You can't smell when you're on the pill.
- 35:20Speaker 4: I heard that, So you don't know who is who
- 35:24Speaker 4: and then all of a sudden you go off the pill.
- 35:26Speaker 4: And that's why people are like, I'm sorry, who are you? Yes, like,
- 35:30Speaker 4: we're not friends here, Like you smell and I don't
- 35:33Speaker 4: like you.
- 35:33Speaker 1: So wait, some fat bad breath. Okay, just give us
- 35:35Speaker 1: one more non negotiable.
- 35:36Speaker 2: Teeth, bad breath.
- 35:37Speaker 3: Yeah, teeth and bad breath way up there.
- 35:39Speaker 2: She's a big smell for anything else.
- 35:41Speaker 3: You have to love your mom. If you talk bad
- 35:43Speaker 3: about your mom, you have nothing to say to me.
- 35:44Speaker 4: One hundred percent. So what about your ex wife? How
- 35:47Speaker 4: do you feel about like when they talk badly about
- 35:48Speaker 4: their axes.
- 35:49Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of that either, you know.
- 35:52Speaker 2: I mean then like they're gonna talk badly about you?
- 35:54Speaker 3: Well, there are some pretty hideous people out there. Let's
- 35:56Speaker 3: just keep it a buck there are You know, maybe
- 35:59Speaker 3: the way that you talk about it could be a.
- 36:01Speaker 2: Little softer, right exactly?
- 36:02Speaker 4: Yeah, Yeah, I'm never my lobster, like whatever, right, that's
- 36:06Speaker 4: what I always say.
- 36:07Speaker 2: I'm like, I'm not my lobster.
- 36:08Speaker 1: Yes, Actually, Darby, you are a gift to us.
- 36:12Speaker 4: All.
- 36:13Speaker 1: Yeah, I can't wait. I mean, I'm not. I really
- 36:15Speaker 1: I want to sort of corner you now and make
- 36:18Speaker 1: you tell me what's going to happen. But I'm not
- 36:20Speaker 1: going to be exciting.
- 36:20Speaker 3: I'm not doing it for you, Jo, I'm enjoying it.
- 36:23Speaker 5: Really, you guys just take a photo because yes, but
- 36:25Speaker 5: you guys.
