- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need.
- 0:01Speaker 2: To know and good morning.
- 0:03Speaker 3: Thank you for starting your Wednesday with us. We were
- 0:05Speaker 3: just getting things rolling over here. Ricky Sanchez has those
- 0:08Speaker 3: three things presented by Mark Spain Real Estate.
- 0:10Speaker 2: What's Happening Ricky Barry.
- 0:12Speaker 4: Keyhogan says that he never cheated on Sabrina Carpenter and
- 0:15Speaker 4: Yesterday's Friends Keep Secrets Podcasts. He addressed the persistent stories
- 0:20Speaker 4: that he had cheated on her, which led to their breakup.
- 0:23Speaker 4: He explained how he stopped socializing. He deleted social media
- 0:26Speaker 4: all because of it, saying quote, I never confirmed or
- 0:29Speaker 4: said anything about it.
- 0:30Speaker 5: I just disappeared.
- 0:32Speaker 4: He then asked for people to stop assuming and attacking him.
- 0:36Speaker 4: It looks like he's he's not doing so great because
- 0:38Speaker 4: of all of these these rumors and the way that
- 0:41Speaker 4: people have been handling it. So he's really just asking
- 0:43Speaker 4: for some I don't know, humanity in all of it.
- 0:47Speaker 4: People get pretty crazy online, so this is a reminder
- 0:50Speaker 4: to be kind to people even if they do mess up. Obviously,
- 0:53Speaker 4: there's no reason to send death threats because.
- 0:56Speaker 5: That's what he's getting because of this he did.
- 1:00Speaker 4: This is his first appearance on anything that's public in
- 1:03Speaker 4: quite a while, so hopefully, you know, he's starting to
- 1:05Speaker 4: come out of it and feel better and kind of
- 1:09Speaker 4: get back to his life again. The National Predator's Craft
- 1:12Speaker 4: Beer Festival is set for Saturday, June twentieth. The festival,
- 1:16Speaker 4: held at Bardstone Arena, has tickets starting at seventy five
- 1:18Speaker 4: dollars that includes limited, unlimited tastings, entertainment, and you get
- 1:23Speaker 4: a free upper level ticket to a hockey game in
- 1:26Speaker 4: October or November. Proceeds benefit the Preds Foundation, which is
- 1:31Speaker 4: a great foundation that supports Middle Tennessee nonprofit groups and programs.
- 1:35Speaker 4: So it stays right here in the community for you
- 1:38Speaker 4: and everybody that you see every day and helps.
- 1:40Speaker 5: The community out, which is really amazing.
- 1:43Speaker 4: And if you're always focused on the negative, there's a
- 1:45Speaker 4: word for that.
- 1:47Speaker 5: They're calling it doomerism.
- 1:48Speaker 4: The term describes a chronic feeling that the future is doomed,
- 1:52Speaker 4: nothing can improve, and individual effort doesn't matter. So, according
- 1:56Speaker 4: to health experts, it's fueled by NonStop exposure to negative
- 1:59Speaker 4: headline We were not obviously meant to know all these
- 2:02Speaker 4: negative things happening all the time, and a constant just
- 2:07Speaker 4: touch of your phone. You get social media algorithms that
- 2:10Speaker 4: have a lot of negative things on that.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Everywhere in the world is constantly coming at you.
- 2:16Speaker 5: It causes constant stress.
- 2:18Speaker 4: And the problem is an awareness, but it's the overload
- 2:21Speaker 4: of it. So there's nothing wrong with being aware of
- 2:23Speaker 4: the things that are happening.
- 2:24Speaker 5: It's the fact that it's all you see.
- 2:27Speaker 4: So if you're in this boat and you are experiencing numerism,
- 2:30Speaker 4: get off your phone, go for a walk outside. If
- 2:33Speaker 4: you have horrible allergies like me, I can't breathe right now,
- 2:36Speaker 4: don't go outside, but find something that you know is
- 2:39Speaker 4: nice and easy for you to do that isn't your phone.
- 2:42Speaker 4: It isn't something where you're scrolling on it for hours
- 2:45Speaker 4: on end. I'm Rick Sanchez, and those are the three
- 2:47Speaker 4: things you need to know.
- 2:48Speaker 5: I almost just sneeze, all right. These allergies are bad.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Yeah, kicking around?
- 2:55Speaker 5: Oh oh my god.
- 2:56Speaker 3: Well, thank you for making it through that. Thank you
- 2:57Speaker 3: for coming in today, Ricky, even though you can't breathe,
- 2:59Speaker 3: We appreciate and.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Thank you for starting your day with us.
- 3:02Speaker 3: Mother's Day is coming up and we want to get
- 3:04Speaker 3: you board the General. Jackson with Zach, that's what he's
- 3:06Speaker 3: doing with his mom on Mother's Day. We've got your
- 3:08Speaker 3: spot in for the first collar coming up.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Ricky is zach And in the morning.
- 3:15Speaker 3: Saying good morning to Tanya in Laverne. How are you
- 3:19Speaker 3: on this Wednesday? Tanya?
- 3:23Speaker 6: Good?
- 3:23Speaker 4: I'm not good, Tanya. I can't breathe. My allergies are
- 3:26Speaker 4: so bad today.
- 3:28Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 3:28Speaker 2: So two of us are good.
- 3:29Speaker 3: One of us is in hell right now.
- 3:33Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm in hell.
- 3:33Speaker 4: If Hell was surrounded by trees and pollen, that's what
- 3:36Speaker 4: it feels like right now.
- 3:38Speaker 5: I can't escape it. I don't know what to do, Tanya. Oh,
- 3:42Speaker 5: it's okay. It's just kind of par for the course.
- 3:44Speaker 5: I'm like drugging myself with clar.
- 3:47Speaker 4: Haughty Toddy Doddy. I think I do need some tea
- 3:55Speaker 4: for my throat that might help. I'm gonna start there.
- 3:59Speaker 4: But Tanya, we're happy you're you're having a good day
- 4:01Speaker 4: so far.
- 4:02Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 4:03Speaker 2: What are you doing, Tanya? Are you getting ready for work?
- 4:05Speaker 2: What do you do? Tell us about yourself?
- 4:07Speaker 8: I Nissan. I'm working on the best of my daughter
- 4:10Speaker 8: right now.
- 4:11Speaker 9: Okay, waiting on the bus with your daughter and you
- 4:14Speaker 9: work at Nissan.
- 4:15Speaker 6: What do you do at Nissan? How old is your daughter?
- 4:17Speaker 6: What's her name?
- 4:19Speaker 5: One at a time, Zachary.
- 4:21Speaker 8: This one is around the cars. Hi.
- 4:29Speaker 3: I think yesterday the first caller that I worked at
- 4:31Speaker 3: a car dealership, right.
- 4:32Speaker 6: Yeah, Honda. She worked at the service desk at the
- 4:35Speaker 6: Honda of Murphy's Brow.
- 4:36Speaker 2: How about that?
- 4:37Speaker 3: Uh hey, maybe it's time for us to tell you
- 4:39Speaker 3: that you're the first caller of the dayDay.
- 4:45Speaker 4: Congratulations. Mother's Day is set. You don't have to worry
- 4:48Speaker 4: about anything. You're gonna go on a mother's say cruise
- 4:50Speaker 4: with Zach on the General Jackson with his mom too.
- 4:54Speaker 4: It's gonna be a really fun time.
- 4:55Speaker 8: I can't wait, Tanya.
- 4:57Speaker 9: Also, just so you know, the boat is all ages,
- 4:59Speaker 9: so you can and bring your kiddos. You're gonna get
- 5:01Speaker 9: four tickets so you can bring whoever you want.
- 5:03Speaker 6: Okay, beautiful, you gotta leave one at home, Zach.
- 5:13Speaker 5: True. Well, Tanya, congratulations again. We hope you have so
- 5:18Speaker 5: much fun with Zach. You're gonna get that for a
- 5:21Speaker 5: full Mother's day. Whatever that was.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Maybe just send the kids and you can have the
- 5:26Speaker 2: day of yourself.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Plan.
- 5:29Speaker 4: That's actually a really good idea, Kevin. That's where we
- 5:31Speaker 4: should have started this. It should have been send your
- 5:33Speaker 4: kids with Zach. You get the full day to yourself.
- 5:38Speaker 6: Hey, all, come home traumatized, bad idea.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Ricky is Zach and man in the Morning on the River.
- 5:47Speaker 2: I have an important job for you. Ricky and Zach.
- 5:49Speaker 2: You think you're up for it?
- 5:51Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 5:51Speaker 2: Probably not ready. Ricky is really not doing well today.
- 5:55Speaker 2: These allergies are just draggon her.
- 5:57Speaker 3: Really, maybe you're not up for this, but I want
- 6:00Speaker 3: the two of you to compete against each other arm
- 6:04Speaker 3: wrestling to plan the next man O family game night.
- 6:07Speaker 5: Okay, oh, okay, this is a lot of effort.
- 6:10Speaker 3: I want to talk about board games, family family activities
- 6:14Speaker 3: right after justin Bieber, you guys tell me your faves.
- 6:16Speaker 6: Okay.
- 6:17Speaker 4: Is it not enough that I'm working right now? I
- 6:19Speaker 4: have to work for your family too, Yes, yes, yes,
- 6:22Speaker 4: my god job.
- 6:24Speaker 2: Thanks for being a part of our morning.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Mano in the Morning.
- 6:27Speaker 4: On the River and is making us work for his
- 6:31Speaker 4: family Right now, it's one o seven five the River.
- 6:34Speaker 5: They're doing a family night. You want us to plan
- 6:36Speaker 5: it for you?
- 6:37Speaker 3: I mean just I want you guys to tell me
- 6:39Speaker 3: your favorite you know, board games, card games that you
- 6:41Speaker 3: would play with your family when you were growing up,
- 6:43Speaker 3: And I want you to really sell it and whoever
- 6:46Speaker 3: I you know, appreciate more. Whoever sounds most fun. That's
- 6:49Speaker 3: what we'll do for our next like the game.
- 6:51Speaker 5: Ever, I appreciate it more. I mean like sounds more fun.
- 6:55Speaker 2: I don't mean appreciate you guys.
- 6:56Speaker 5: You're doing great, keV.
- 6:57Speaker 3: You guys sell the game. Let's just let's say this
- 7:00Speaker 3: is Shark Tank. You're walking into the tank and you're
- 7:01Speaker 3: gonna tell me about the game that you used to
- 7:03Speaker 3: play when you were a kid. Whoever I want to
- 7:05Speaker 3: invest in. That's what we're gonna do for the next
- 7:07Speaker 3: Man of Family game. Now, we were playing you know
- 7:09Speaker 3: the game. What do you mean are you familiar with
- 7:11Speaker 3: that at all? Yeah, we were playing that.
- 7:12Speaker 5: Oh what do you mean me like the memes?
- 7:15Speaker 3: Yes, yes, we were playing that last night and it's fun.
- 7:18Speaker 3: But that's like the one that's our go to all
- 7:20Speaker 3: the time. So we're really looking for another game, and
- 7:22Speaker 3: I just wanted to get your Okay, Well.
- 7:23Speaker 4: What kind of games does a family like though? Because
- 7:25Speaker 4: there are so many different.
- 7:26Speaker 5: Types, we're open.
- 7:28Speaker 2: We're open to anything. That's where you come in.
- 7:29Speaker 6: I have the perfect game for you.
- 7:31Speaker 5: Go ahead, Zach, take it away.
- 7:32Speaker 6: It is called throw throw burrito. Have you ever heard
- 7:35Speaker 6: of it?
- 7:35Speaker 3: I've heard of it. I've seen it around, but we
- 7:37Speaker 3: don't have it. I've never played it. Called a dodgeball
- 7:39Speaker 3: card game. So it's creati a by the same people
- 7:41Speaker 3: that made exploding kittens. So basically, you have to like
- 7:44Speaker 3: collect matching cards while throwing squash squishy foam burritos at
- 7:48Speaker 3: each other, like so you get up and they can
- 7:50Speaker 3: you can hide behind the couch.
- 7:51Speaker 6: You have to run around the living room like. It's
- 7:53Speaker 6: really sound.
- 7:54Speaker 5: It's very dangerous.
- 7:55Speaker 9: It's super like interactive, and they're just like squishy little burritos,
- 7:58Speaker 9: like one of those little stress ball things.
- 8:00Speaker 2: I feel like we have a lot of breakable stuff
- 8:02Speaker 2: in our house.
- 8:02Speaker 4: If I played that with my little brother, it would
- 8:06Speaker 4: have gone really bad, really south, really fund outside on
- 8:09Speaker 4: the patio.
- 8:09Speaker 3: keV Okay, all right, I like it, Zach, I like it.
- 8:12Speaker 2: That was good.
- 8:13Speaker 4: Broken bones, I'm seeing crying. I'm not seeing anything positive
- 8:17Speaker 4: on this.
- 8:18Speaker 9: This is a really really dramatic broken bone from a
- 8:21Speaker 9: squishy burrina from.
- 8:22Speaker 5: The burrito from running around.
- 8:24Speaker 3: Y'all are clumsy, Ricky, go ahead and pitch me your game.
- 8:29Speaker 5: I don't have a better game. Honestly, but.
- 8:33Speaker 2: Participation.
- 8:35Speaker 4: Just going to tell you that I used to play
- 8:37Speaker 4: Parcheesi all the time with my family and that was
- 8:40Speaker 4: a lot of fun. Par Cheesy and Djenga those were
- 8:42Speaker 4: our two go to games.
- 8:43Speaker 5: That would always play.
- 8:44Speaker 2: Can you give me a quick elevator pitch for Parcheesi?
- 8:48Speaker 5: No, I can't just go ahead and buy it. It's
- 8:52Speaker 5: a great game, a classic, truly. Uh. That or Jenga
- 8:56Speaker 5: highly recommend did you guys? I still love to play them.
- 8:58Speaker 3: Did you ever play Taboo you were younger? Yeah, that
- 9:01Speaker 3: was our favorite when I was a kid.
- 9:03Speaker 5: Yeah, that would also just it's a lot. Taboo's a lot, truly,
- 9:08Speaker 5: not a lot.
- 9:09Speaker 6: Does this mean I won? Kevin and you're gonna play
- 9:12Speaker 6: Throw Throw a Burrito?
- 9:13Speaker 3: I think without a doubt, Zach won this conversation. Congrats
- 9:19Speaker 3: this in second place.
- 9:21Speaker 4: Yeah, Ricky is very uninterested in this conversation. Well, she
- 9:29Speaker 4: can't breathe out of her nose right now.
- 9:32Speaker 3: Three things, seven o'clock here on this Wednesday morning.
- 9:36Speaker 2: It's gonna be a great day. Friends.
- 9:37Speaker 3: Ricky Sanchez might disagree with that because she feels like
- 9:40Speaker 3: she's dying because of these allergies, but she's here and
- 9:42Speaker 3: she's got three things, presented by Mark Spain Real Estate.
- 9:44Speaker 5: I'm still here.
- 9:45Speaker 4: Our Una Grande announced a new album, Her album, Pedal,
- 9:49Speaker 4: is coming out July thirty.
- 9:50Speaker 5: First. She described the.
- 9:51Speaker 4: Album as quote something that is full of life and
- 9:54Speaker 4: growing through the cracks of something cold and hard and challenging.
- 9:58Speaker 4: That's all we know so far, but obviously we're expecting
- 10:00Speaker 4: a single off the album to come soon prior to
- 10:02Speaker 4: the actual full album coming out when that is announced.
- 10:06Speaker 5: If it is announced, I will totally let you know.
- 10:08Speaker 4: I'm sure we'll play it on one oh seven five
- 10:09Speaker 4: of the River or any other details that come out
- 10:11Speaker 4: about the album. Dining Out for Life returns tomorrow, April thirtieth.
- 10:16Speaker 4: More than fifty local restaurants are donating a portion of
- 10:19Speaker 4: proceeds to national cares in their fight to end the HIV.
- 10:23Speaker 5: Epidemic in Middle Tennessee.
- 10:25Speaker 4: Dandrew's Bakery and Cafe Frankie Jay's Chapstick Lipstick Lounge. They
- 10:30Speaker 4: all plan to donate one hundred percent of sales, as
- 10:33Speaker 4: well as a few others. Other spots participating in various
- 10:36Speaker 4: contribution amounts are East National Beer Works, Too, fun Fleet
- 10:40Speaker 4: Street Pub, Noko, Turnip truck.
- 10:43Speaker 5: So many more.
- 10:44Speaker 4: There are a bunch of places where your money's gonna
- 10:47Speaker 4: go even farther to help a good cause tomorrow. You
- 10:50Speaker 4: can get all that information online if you just search
- 10:53Speaker 4: National Cares or dining out for Life House. So the
- 10:57Speaker 4: Dragons Season three officially has a premier.
- 11:00Speaker 5: I am very excited about this.
- 11:01Speaker 4: Get ready for June twenty first for new episodes. The
- 11:05Speaker 4: eight episode season will air new weekly episodes until the
- 11:08Speaker 4: season finale on August ninth.
- 11:11Speaker 5: HBO's also dropped a trailer for the show.
- 11:13Speaker 4: So you can check that out when you get a chance.
- 11:15Speaker 4: I am very excited to see where this goes.
- 11:18Speaker 5: Sanchez and those are the three things you need to know.
- 11:19Speaker 3: Thank you so much, Ricky. It's just about time for
- 11:22Speaker 3: zax Fax. We're gonna play Bruno Mars and then we
- 11:25Speaker 3: are learning. Zach Woodward is our resident professor and he's
- 11:28Speaker 3: teaching us next right here on the river.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Class is in Sessions.
- 11:34Speaker 4: Zach's Facts, brought to you by Mark Spain Real Estate one.
- 11:39Speaker 9: Even though it's in the name, did you guys know
- 11:40Speaker 9: that there's actually no butter in peanut butter?
- 11:45Speaker 5: I don't know what I ever thought about it.
- 11:47Speaker 9: Yeah, So the term butter refers strictly to its spreadable,
- 11:50Speaker 9: creamy consistency. And there's no actual dairy in peanut butter.
- 11:53Speaker 9: It's just like peanuts with salt, sweeteners and oils added.
- 11:56Speaker 4: I guess peanut butter sounds better than peanuts spread.
- 11:59Speaker 9: Yeah, but there's no butter and peanut butter.
- 12:02Speaker 6: And there's your fact of the day.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning on what oh.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Seven five the River.
- 12:09Speaker 3: It's kind of a two parter here. Part one just
- 12:12Speaker 3: a psa for everybody. Mother's Day is coming up. It's
- 12:14Speaker 3: right around the corner. Okay, don't forget moms are very important.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Uh.
- 12:17Speaker 3: And the second part here is a plea to the
- 12:20Speaker 3: moms to call us and tell us what you actually want.
- 12:22Speaker 5: If you don't say what you want, how is anyone
- 12:24Speaker 5: supposed to know it? To get you?
- 12:25Speaker 4: Six one five seven through seven nine one oh seven,
- 12:28Speaker 4: give some ideas.
- 12:29Speaker 3: Mom's your perfect Mother's day? What do you actually want?
- 12:33Speaker 2: Let us know.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning.
- 12:37Speaker 2: On what oh seven five the River?
- 12:39Speaker 4: It's seven five the river. Mother's Day is right around
- 12:42Speaker 4: the corner. And I know it's really hard for people
- 12:44Speaker 4: to think of good gifts for mom. How do you
- 12:46Speaker 4: give the best person in your life a good gift?
- 12:49Speaker 5: It's tough.
- 12:50Speaker 4: So we want to know what moms really want for
- 12:52Speaker 4: Mother's Day. Tracy and Springfield, what is the perfect Mother's
- 12:56Speaker 4: Day gift to you?
- 12:58Speaker 10: Okay? So I don't need or want anything. I only
- 13:01Speaker 10: have one child, he's thirty two. I just want to
- 13:05Speaker 10: spend the whole day with him out today. I don't
- 13:10Speaker 10: want anything. He's taken up fishing. I would love to
- 13:14Speaker 10: go fishing with him. Oh, I don't need, I don't
- 13:19Speaker 10: made or want anything. We I never get to sing
- 13:22Speaker 10: him because I work days and he works second shift.
- 13:25Speaker 10: I may see him once a week for a few minutes.
- 13:28Speaker 3: Well see Mother's Days. You know it's still in my
- 13:31Speaker 3: home coming up May tenth. Is that going to be
- 13:33Speaker 3: a reality? Do you think you'll be off? And is
- 13:35Speaker 3: he nearby? Will you guys be able to spend the
- 13:37Speaker 3: day together.
- 13:37Speaker 8: Hopefully?
- 13:38Speaker 10: I just work Monday through Friday, but he works second shift.
- 13:42Speaker 10: He does work Friday night, so unless he has to
- 13:46Speaker 10: work Saturday night over time.
- 13:50Speaker 8: It should be it should be feasible.
- 13:52Speaker 6: I hope you get think that's all we have.
- 13:55Speaker 5: Our fingers crossed or hoping that that's what you get
- 13:57Speaker 5: to do.
- 13:58Speaker 4: That really is the sweetest thing here. And then also
- 14:01Speaker 4: like that's the thing. Most moms just want to spend
- 14:04Speaker 4: time with their kids.
- 14:05Speaker 10: Yeah mm hmmy, even if he just wants to go
- 14:08Speaker 10: to Sam's or yeah, just just spend the day with
- 14:12Speaker 10: me like we did. I grew we grew up together.
- 14:15Speaker 10: I divorced his dad when he was like six months old.
- 14:18Speaker 10: I've never remarried, so we grew up together. He's like
- 14:21Speaker 10: my best friend.
- 14:22Speaker 2: You're so sweet, So I'm gonna cry.
- 14:24Speaker 5: That is so sweet. We are hoping that, we're hoping
- 14:28Speaker 5: that you get you to that. We have all of
- 14:30Speaker 5: our fingers crossed.
- 14:31Speaker 4: We are manifesting it, and we thank you for hanging
- 14:33Speaker 4: out with us this morning.
- 14:35Speaker 10: Thank you, guys.
- 14:37Speaker 1: Yeah, love you.
- 14:39Speaker 2: I do have a list. I found a list.
- 14:41Speaker 3: You know, moms were asked what they actually want, So
- 14:43Speaker 3: I'll give you the top three right now, let's hear it.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Number three would be uh.
- 14:47Speaker 3: You know, relaxation slash like SPA gift sets, So something
- 14:51Speaker 3: relaxing like that.
- 14:52Speaker 2: That's a big one.
- 14:53Speaker 3: SPA gifts uh, And experience would be number two here
- 14:56Speaker 3: not more stuff but like, uh, you know, a planned
- 14:59Speaker 3: outing sinner something.
- 15:00Speaker 5: Like that, planning something so she doesn't have to.
- 15:03Speaker 2: And then that's number one. Ricky. Just time off like
- 15:05Speaker 2: a brunch and a nap, but the mom has.
- 15:07Speaker 3: To do no work, no cooking, no cleaning, no logistics,
- 15:11Speaker 3: nothing like that makes sense.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Number one by a mile. The thing that moms say
- 15:14Speaker 2: they want.
- 15:15Speaker 4: I feel like that's also what a lot of people
- 15:17Speaker 4: want for their birthdays. You honestly not have to plan,
- 15:19Speaker 4: not have to think about anything, to just be able
- 15:21Speaker 4: to chill but be surrounded by the people that they love.
- 15:24Speaker 1: Ricky is Zach and manno in the morning. On the River,
- 15:29Speaker 1: you got.
- 15:29Speaker 5: Your steeple Chase tickets.
- 15:31Speaker 4: If you play Kevin Maano's Game of the Day presented
- 15:33Speaker 4: by Genesis Diamonds on one oh seven five of the
- 15:35Speaker 4: River and win, you're getting the tickets to go on
- 15:38Speaker 4: May ninth.
- 15:39Speaker 3: The game is called Name that Tune, inspired by Steeplechase
- 15:44Speaker 3: and the every time thank you, Zach, I appreciate it
- 15:47Speaker 3: makes Ricky shake her head and disgust every time.
- 15:49Speaker 5: Pretty much.
- 15:50Speaker 3: I'm gonna play three little clips of songs right here.
- 15:53Speaker 3: You then have to identify the artists all three artists.
- 15:57Speaker 3: That's when you call us. If you know them, you
- 15:58Speaker 3: tell us who they are, gradual relations. When you're going
- 16:00Speaker 3: to steeple chase, I will say today two of these
- 16:03Speaker 3: songs handpicked by my daughter.
- 16:05Speaker 5: Oh okay, now I'm interested.
- 16:07Speaker 3: She wanted to get involved, so she she came up
- 16:09Speaker 3: with a couple horse songs, horse reference songs that were
- 16:12Speaker 3: not even.
- 16:13Speaker 5: So weird to see it. I know, gome out with
- 16:15Speaker 5: a few horse songs.
- 16:16Speaker 3: They weren't even on my list. So here we go.
- 16:18Speaker 3: Today's audio clue. You got identify all three artists.
- 16:21Speaker 2: Let's listen.
- 16:21Speaker 11: Really this one Lord down a long steer, wiskit for.
- 16:31Speaker 1: Before my horse Wow.
- 16:35Speaker 3: Wow six, one, five, seven, three, seven, nine, one oh seven.
- 16:40Speaker 3: If you know all three of those artists, kind of
- 16:42Speaker 3: a country themed one today.
- 16:43Speaker 5: I'm assuming she suggested the first and last one.
- 16:46Speaker 7: That's right.
- 16:48Speaker 3: If you know im, callus, let us know you're going
- 16:50Speaker 3: to steeple chase.
- 16:51Speaker 1: It's game time, babies, Ricky is Zach and Manno in
- 16:55Speaker 1: the morning on the river.
- 16:57Speaker 5: It's on seven five the River.
- 16:59Speaker 4: We're about to get into have a Mano's Game of
- 17:00Speaker 4: the day for tickets to Steeplechase on May ninth.
- 17:04Speaker 5: It's I'm not doing it.
- 17:06Speaker 4: Name that tune on one O seven five of the River,
- 17:08Speaker 4: but specifically horse themed.
- 17:10Speaker 3: Name that tune is the game we're playing, because you know,
- 17:14Speaker 3: steeple Chase horses.
- 17:15Speaker 2: I love it. I think it's the most creative thing ever.
- 17:17Speaker 3: We're gonna take good Morning to Caroline in Manchester.
- 17:21Speaker 2: She's on the line. How are you, Caroline?
- 17:23Speaker 1: I'm good? How are you?
- 17:24Speaker 6: We're good?
- 17:25Speaker 2: Yeah, two of us are. Yeah, Me and zach A.
- 17:28Speaker 2: We're having a great day.
- 17:29Speaker 4: Ricky trying to kill me today, Caroline, but we're we're
- 17:34Speaker 4: out here just trying to do the best.
- 17:35Speaker 5: That we can.
- 17:37Speaker 3: I'm gonna played the audio clue for you one more time,
- 17:40Speaker 3: and then your job is to tell us.
- 17:41Speaker 2: The three artists. Okay, Okay, here we go one more time.
- 17:45Speaker 11: Run this one horse town along zero.
- 17:56Speaker 5: Wow.
- 18:01Speaker 3: All right, you've heard all three once again. The flora
- 18:03Speaker 3: is yours. Tell us who they are.
- 18:07Speaker 8: Okay, Taylor Swift, Yes, Toby Keith and Landy Wilson.
- 18:16Speaker 2: It's easy for you. A nice job, Thank you said much.
- 18:19Speaker 4: Congrats are getting tickets to go to Steeplechase, all because
- 18:24Speaker 4: I hate doing it.
- 18:25Speaker 5: You could name that too, yeah, you're welcome.
- 18:31Speaker 2: She was feeling bad today. Now she's feeling even worse.
- 18:36Speaker 5: Hang on the line so we can get here. Infoe, Okay, okay,
- 18:38Speaker 5: thank you.
- 18:40Speaker 2: And Ricky, yes, you were right.
- 18:41Speaker 3: My daughter Molly suggested the Taylor Swift and then Lady
- 18:44Speaker 3: Wilson she did not recommend beer from my horse.
- 18:47Speaker 5: You know, I was hoping, but it wasn't one hundred percent.
- 18:51Speaker 3: Playing again tomorrow if I can come up with more
- 18:53Speaker 3: horse rugs, be here to win these tickets.
- 18:56Speaker 2: Three things.
- 18:58Speaker 3: Past eight o'clock here on this Wednesday morning. Thank you
- 19:01Speaker 3: for starting your day with Ricky, Zach and Mano over
- 19:03Speaker 3: here at the River. Ricky's got three things, presented by
- 19:05Speaker 3: Mark Spain Real Estate. What's Happened Ricky?
- 19:07Speaker 4: Billy Eilish is squashing rumors that her and her brother
- 19:10Speaker 4: had a falling out. So a lot of fans noticed
- 19:12Speaker 4: that her brother Phineas wasn't with her on her Hit
- 19:15Speaker 4: Me Hard and Soft tour and wondered.
- 19:16Speaker 5: If something happened between the two of them. But Billy
- 19:19Speaker 5: touched on this in a recent interview.
- 19:20Speaker 4: With Elle, where she said, quote Phineas and I have
- 19:23Speaker 4: never and will never have a falling out ever, in
- 19:26Speaker 4: our Lives.
- 19:27Speaker 5: She said that the two of them can.
- 19:29Speaker 4: Get into the worst fight ever and be right back
- 19:30Speaker 4: to laughing in five minutes, and later described it as
- 19:33Speaker 4: a typical sibling relationship. Anybody who has a sibling knows
- 19:36Speaker 4: you could go like for the death and then be
- 19:40Speaker 4: totally fine within five minutes. The decision for Phineas not
- 19:44Speaker 4: to go on tour with Billy was more about the
- 19:46Speaker 4: fact that he's taken the next steps in his own career.
- 19:49Speaker 4: That it's more about that than anything else that has
- 19:51Speaker 4: nothing to do with the two of them. They still
- 19:53Speaker 4: make a lot of music together. They still spend a
- 19:55Speaker 4: lot of time together, as much time as they can together.
- 19:57Speaker 4: Everything is good with Billy and Phineas, which is great
- 20:01Speaker 4: news to hear. Terry Black's Barbecue is throwing a spring
- 20:04Speaker 4: block party on Saturday, May second, So it's this Saturday
- 20:09Speaker 4: in Germantown. It's happening from ten thirty am to five
- 20:12Speaker 4: forty five pm.
- 20:13Speaker 5: They're gonna have beef.
- 20:14Speaker 4: Ribs, sausage sides, all available for purchase until it's sold out.
- 20:18Speaker 4: This is a great way to taste test their food
- 20:21Speaker 4: before they open their spot later this year. So you're
- 20:23Speaker 4: gonna know, you know which things you really like from them,
- 20:26Speaker 4: and you can also expect live music stages as well,
- 20:28Speaker 4: which is gonna be a lot of fun. Sounds like
- 20:29Speaker 4: a fun spring day if you're not dying from allergies
- 20:32Speaker 4: like I am.
- 20:33Speaker 5: And the New.
- 20:34Speaker 4: Lazy Boy has a wild feature that just totally makes
- 20:38Speaker 4: sense for the brand.
- 20:39Speaker 5: These New Lazy Boys have high end.
- 20:40Speaker 4: Speakers and subwifers built directly into their recliners and sofas.
- 20:45Speaker 4: Because the sound system is embedded in the furniture, it
- 20:47Speaker 4: also has like vibrations you're gonna get, You're gonna feel
- 20:51Speaker 4: clear tones position perfectly around your head.
- 20:56Speaker 5: It's kind of wild. There's a whole science behind this.
- 20:58Speaker 4: Each chair even comes with its own controls in the armress,
- 21:01Speaker 4: so you can just your personal volume or sync up
- 21:04Speaker 4: with everyone else in the room if you want like
- 21:06Speaker 4: a full home theater experience. It sounds really awesome. Honestly, Like,
- 21:11Speaker 4: I'm not really a furniture person. I don't really care
- 21:14Speaker 4: that much about these things, but I kind of want
- 21:16Speaker 4: a Lazy Boy. I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the
- 21:20Speaker 4: three things you need to know, because both of AJ
- 21:23Speaker 4: and I have different volumes that we like.
- 21:25Speaker 2: Oh, okay, well that makes sense. That makes sense, so
- 21:26Speaker 2: this would make it easy for us. Have you or
- 21:28Speaker 2: you Zach.
- 21:29Speaker 3: Been to one of those movie theaters, like the four
- 21:31Speaker 3: d X thing or your chair moves and there's a
- 21:34Speaker 3: window blow?
- 21:35Speaker 2: Is it really? Did you like it?
- 21:36Speaker 6: It's like totally worth the money.
- 21:38Speaker 5: In my mind, it seems like a lot to me.
- 21:39Speaker 6: It adds through the experience. You feel like you're in
- 21:41Speaker 6: the movie.
- 21:42Speaker 3: Yeah, I've never done it before, but yeah, I had
- 21:45Speaker 3: friends who went to see Dune like that and there's okay,
- 21:48Speaker 3: Sam blowing in their.
- 21:49Speaker 2: Face or something.
- 21:50Speaker 4: I feel like it's always the movies that you don't
- 21:52Speaker 4: actually want to be in.
- 21:54Speaker 5: I don't want to be in Dune. I don't want
- 21:56Speaker 5: to know what that feels like.
- 21:57Speaker 2: That's a good point. Right after bab We've got money.
- 22:00Speaker 2: There's a keyword come in eight ten.
- 22:02Speaker 3: You can get the thousand bucks on the ten, So
- 22:05Speaker 3: less than seven minutes your chance to win one thousand dollars.
- 22:08Speaker 1: Here on the river, Ricky is Zach and manno in
- 22:12Speaker 1: the morning on the river?
- 22:15Speaker 4: Is it rude to ask people for gifts without actually
- 22:17Speaker 4: inviting said people to the party. It's one O seven
- 22:20Speaker 4: five of the River. This just recently happened to Zach
- 22:23Speaker 4: with a graduation.
- 22:24Speaker 9: I literally got a graduation card asking for me to
- 22:26Speaker 9: send gifts, but no invitation to the party.
- 22:28Speaker 6: And I was like, that's weird.
- 22:30Speaker 4: No invitation to the graduation, the graduation party, nothing, Nope,
- 22:34Speaker 4: just like an Amazon wish list.
- 22:35Speaker 6: Yeah, And I was like, you want me to buy
- 22:38Speaker 6: them something?
- 22:38Speaker 3: What there might be something we're missing here that we're
- 22:41Speaker 3: not thinking about, Like if anybody wants to justify that,
- 22:44Speaker 3: or if you've done that, or if you've been on
- 22:45Speaker 3: the end of it that Zach has been on call
- 22:48Speaker 3: A six one, five, seven, three seven, nine, one oh seven.
- 22:51Speaker 2: Just kind of an.
- 22:52Speaker 3: Open hand waiting for gifts with no invitation in return.
- 22:57Speaker 5: An open hand waiting for gifts.
- 22:59Speaker 2: Is it weird?
- 23:00Speaker 5: What do you think?
- 23:01Speaker 1: Listen, thanks for being a part of our morning, Ricky,
- 23:04Speaker 1: Zach and Menno.
- 23:05Speaker 3: In the morning, Zach mentioned he got like an Amazon
- 23:09Speaker 3: wish list basically without being invited to this celebratory event.
- 23:13Speaker 3: Just hey, here, buy us some gifts. Theresa, what do
- 23:16Speaker 3: you think about this behavior?
- 23:18Speaker 11: I think it.
- 23:18Speaker 8: Scare there and I've had someone to know that did
- 23:23Speaker 8: the same thing. It was a baby shower and so
- 23:26Speaker 8: she did all the single people that don't have kids,
- 23:30Speaker 8: like myself and so on. We didn't get an invite
- 23:33Speaker 8: but the request for a gift. That's rude, girl, that
- 23:39Speaker 8: you said. And I was like, wait, you, I didn't
- 23:45Speaker 8: even get an invite for the baby shower. Her explanation was.
- 23:49Speaker 4: Well, what we thought.
- 23:50Speaker 8: We get all their folks that have kids, and you know,
- 23:54Speaker 8: the parents together. We're kind of doting a little different
- 23:57Speaker 8: whatever go by.
- 24:01Speaker 9: I was about to say, are you still friends with
- 24:02Speaker 9: this person? Because I think I would not be friends
- 24:04Speaker 9: with them any longer.
- 24:05Speaker 8: No, No, no, she is. She's on an islands.
- 24:11Speaker 5: On the island, the island with no friends.
- 24:14Speaker 8: Goodbye island friends.
- 24:17Speaker 3: Well, thank you for calling us, and yeah, agreeing with
- 24:20Speaker 3: Zach on this because something very similar happened to him.
- 24:22Speaker 2: Thank you for calling.
- 24:24Speaker 3: Everybody to Do you even want to share any more
- 24:28Speaker 3: information about what happened to you, Zach?
- 24:29Speaker 2: Or is that just you know?
- 24:30Speaker 6: No, I'm totally fine sharing it.
- 24:32Speaker 5: I just want to know, are you still going to
- 24:33Speaker 5: be friends with these people?
- 24:34Speaker 6: I don't know, honestly.
- 24:36Speaker 9: So it was like a friend that had lived in
- 24:38Speaker 9: Nashville for a while moved out of state and she
- 24:40Speaker 9: had a child. Her child is now graduating high school,
- 24:43Speaker 9: and so she sent me this graduation card of like, oh,
- 24:46Speaker 9: he's graduating high school. He's going to attend this university
- 24:49Speaker 9: in the fall. Here's his Amazon wishless no invitation to
- 24:54Speaker 9: the graduation.
- 24:55Speaker 6: Of state at a graduation party.
- 24:57Speaker 5: It would be kind of difficult for you to go
- 24:58Speaker 5: to the graduation.
- 24:59Speaker 4: Why they make Yeah, but you're gonna fly to someone's graduation.
- 25:03Speaker 6: Why would I not. I've gone to weirder things.
- 25:06Speaker 5: Yes, I feel like that's a lot, though.
- 25:08Speaker 9: I just feel like at least in the invitation instead
- 25:10Speaker 9: of just like, oh, here's his Venmo and his Amazon
- 25:13Speaker 9: wishless card.
- 25:14Speaker 3: I mean to me, I understand that that could be
- 25:16Speaker 3: a little tacky, but like, I don't know if they
- 25:18Speaker 3: have friends all over the country and just say it's
- 25:20Speaker 3: almost like the equivalent of a Christmas card, Like, here's
- 25:22Speaker 3: what's going on with him.
- 25:23Speaker 2: He graduated, we're proud of them, and.
- 25:26Speaker 3: If you want to contribute to his life, we're gonna
- 25:29Speaker 3: include these things.
- 25:30Speaker 9: I just think it's still so weird. Invite me to
- 25:33Speaker 9: the graduation party.
- 25:34Speaker 6: I would go.
- 25:36Speaker 4: Zach's gonna spend seven hundred dollars to go to this
- 25:39Speaker 4: graduation party as opposed to buying the kid a freaking
- 25:41Speaker 4: George Foreman.
- 25:42Speaker 5: Yeah, why in the world.
- 25:46Speaker 6: I feel like it's more important to be there and
- 25:49Speaker 6: support them.
- 25:50Speaker 5: Oh my god.
- 25:51Speaker 2: If you want to chime in, joy the conversation.
- 25:53Speaker 1: Six Ricky is Zach and Manno in the Morning.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Seven the River.
- 26:01Speaker 5: Welcome John to one of seven five the River.
- 26:04Speaker 4: You obviously heard Zach's dilemma that he's in with getting
- 26:08Speaker 4: a graduation card asking for gifts without any invite to graduation.
- 26:13Speaker 4: Is it rude to ask people for gifts without inviting
- 26:15Speaker 4: them to a party.
- 26:16Speaker 7: Maybe more than rude, it's a sign of a change
- 26:20Speaker 7: and evolution in our society because everything is so easy
- 26:25Speaker 7: to put together and send out. I mean, I've received
- 26:28Speaker 7: just digital whistless. I haven't even received like a card
- 26:31Speaker 7: with the list. It's really kind of personal preference as
- 26:37Speaker 7: to whether or not it's rude. But you can just
- 26:39Speaker 7: ignore it. You can choose to ignore it. It's I think,
- 26:42Speaker 7: just the new normal.
- 26:43Speaker 9: We're obsessed with materialistic things and personal connections. They don't
- 26:46Speaker 9: care about having a party or inviting me to their party.
- 26:49Speaker 9: It's about materialistic things, like their George Foreman for their dorm.
- 26:52Speaker 6: As Ricky would say.
- 26:54Speaker 7: Jack, honestly, if I ever had a party, you have
- 26:57Speaker 7: an open invitation. One of the all that ever happens.
- 27:03Speaker 4: You might want to get just like a little something
- 27:05Speaker 4: for someone and to kind of help out in some way.
- 27:09Speaker 6: The Amazon wishless and by the cheapest thing on there,
- 27:11Speaker 6: like and want to be petty. I'll be petty.
- 27:14Speaker 2: I don't think that's petty.
- 27:18Speaker 7: I don't even think that's petty. I don't even because
- 27:21Speaker 7: if you buy something that's better than that's better than nothing,
- 27:26Speaker 7: would be petty.
- 27:26Speaker 3: Zech go on the Amazon wish list by the most
- 27:28Speaker 3: expensive thing for yourself and then like send a photo
- 27:32Speaker 3: of you using it and.
- 27:37Speaker 4: Kevin, Wow, John, thank you so much for your opinion
- 27:40Speaker 4: on this, because I think you're right. It seems like
- 27:42Speaker 4: that's where society is moving towards situations like this.
- 27:45Speaker 7: Well, thank you so much, Thank you, great day by friend.
- 27:49Speaker 5: Thanks.
- 27:49Speaker 4: I will say I've thought about giving out a registry
- 27:53Speaker 4: to people when I elope.
- 27:55Speaker 2: Yeah, what I think you should.
- 27:57Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm thinking about doing it, doing a registry for
- 28:00Speaker 4: the elopement.
- 28:01Speaker 5: I want to have a party later on in the year.
- 28:03Speaker 5: We just don't know if we can swing it because
- 28:05Speaker 5: it's expensive, but those party is expensive.
- 28:08Speaker 3: Those of us that love you and a j we
- 28:10Speaker 3: want to contribute to this new life that you're having together.
- 28:13Speaker 6: Atly chose to do. You chose to get married, and
- 28:16Speaker 6: you chose to elope, and now you want me to
- 28:19Speaker 6: buy you things. Yes, you chose to do this.
- 28:22Speaker 2: Yes, Oh he's mad, Mad, I'm on board with that, y.
- 28:27Speaker 3: I think that's a better idea than spending all of
- 28:29Speaker 3: your money on a big wedding, you know what I mean.
- 28:31Speaker 2: I just I think it's the smart play.
- 28:34Speaker 9: All your money wedding, but it's been neat has been
- 28:37Speaker 9: all my money on you For a.
- 28:39Speaker 6: Gift, bro, I'm not asking for you.
- 28:42Speaker 5: I'm asking for a blender maybe.
- 28:44Speaker 6: Nope, Nope.
- 28:45Speaker 1: And Ricky Zach and Men in the Morning on.
- 28:50Speaker 3: Daily Double Tap is something that happened in Nashville last night.
- 28:53Speaker 2: It's one of seven five the River.
- 28:56Speaker 3: Ricky really has a severe case of fomo for missing
- 28:58Speaker 3: the show, like real, because.
- 29:00Speaker 4: I tried to get tickets to Haley Williams show at
- 29:03Speaker 4: the Ryman and the Box beat me out.
- 29:06Speaker 6: Man.
- 29:06Speaker 5: They beat me out so fast and I was devastated.
- 29:09Speaker 4: And then I saw this last night as I was
- 29:11Speaker 4: about to, like, I got into bed and was gonna
- 29:14Speaker 4: go to sleep, and I was scrolling on Instagram, even
- 29:17Speaker 4: though they tell you not to do that before you're
- 29:18Speaker 4: gonna go to bed, and it pops up Noah Khan
- 29:21Speaker 4: on stage with Haley Williams.
- 29:24Speaker 5: And I screamed. AJ thought that I was dying.
- 29:27Speaker 4: I screamed so loud, and he went what And I
- 29:30Speaker 4: was like, I can't believe that I'm not there right now.
- 29:33Speaker 4: This is devastating. But what a cool moment for everybody
- 29:35Speaker 4: else who was there. So I'm like happy for you
- 29:37Speaker 4: and whatever.
- 29:37Speaker 2: Yeah, we're all happy for you, but we're sad for
- 29:39Speaker 2: Ricky here.
- 29:40Speaker 1: I'll keep me.
- 29:50Speaker 7: Up.
- 29:58Speaker 6: I loved together.
- 30:01Speaker 9: They sound so good together. Whoever was there last night,
- 30:04Speaker 9: You're so lucky.
- 30:06Speaker 2: Hayley Williams is awesome. She's like our number one fave
- 30:09Speaker 2: over here.
- 30:10Speaker 5: I love her so much. And then I just wanted
- 30:12Speaker 5: to see her.
