- 0:00Speaker 1: Direct from Hollywood with Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Quentin Tarantino has got a reputation for being one of
- 0:05Speaker 2: the most gifted screenwriters of this generation. He's also been
- 0:08Speaker 2: the one directing his material for almost his entire career.
- 0:11Speaker 2: So he's used to nobody messing with his scripts. But
- 0:13Speaker 2: that changed dramatically with this upcoming movie. It's called The
- 0:16Speaker 2: Further Misadventures of Cliff Booth. Yeah, it's the.
- 0:19Speaker 3: Sequel to his movie Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,
- 0:21Speaker 3: both starring Brad Pitt. But this time, David Fincher is directing.
- 0:25Speaker 1: And David basically took a machete to Quentin's screenplay. He
- 0:29Speaker 1: chopped out 60 whole pages. And some fans who love
- 0:32Speaker 1: Tarantino movies have FOMO over what might have been left out.
- 0:36Speaker 2: Bud Fincher told Empire Magazine the original script was 230 pages.
- 0:40Speaker 2: And for perspective, most spec scripts come in at about
- 0:42Speaker 2: like 90 pages total.
- 0:44Speaker 3: Exactly. And David said that he would have to make
- 0:47Speaker 3: two movies to get everything in there. So he had
- 0:49Speaker 3: to make some tough decisions about what to keep in
- 0:52Speaker 3: there at all.
- 0:53Speaker 1: And even with those parts being removed, the movie still
- 0:55Speaker 1: runs two hours and 20 minutes. So it's not exactly short.
- 0:59Speaker 2: The further misadventures of Cliff Booth hits IMAX November 25th.
- 1:04Speaker 3: That's direct from Hollywood.
