• 0:51
SPEAKER_03: We found out really quick, once they opened the doors and they pulled in all of the cars that are going through the ram display and the Jeep display that opened the doors.
• 1:01
SPEAKER_03: Had to get out in my jacket.
• 1:02
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 1:02
  SPEAKER_03: It's cold, man.
• 1:03
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 1:04
SPEAKER_03: You know, it's cold out there.
• 1:05
SPEAKER_03: So it's a great day to be indoors.
• 1:06
SPEAKER_05: Big boys are wearing shorts, but you've got a parka on.
• 1:09
  SPEAKER_03: I know.
• 1:09
SPEAKER_03: Well, they close the doors and it's nice and comfy in here.
• 1:12
SPEAKER_03: And I'm nice and comfy in my little parka.
• 1:15
  unknown: Parka?
• 1:16
  SPEAKER_03: Uh-huh.
• 1:16
SPEAKER_05: So you got your mucklucks on on there, buddy?
• 1:18
  SPEAKER_03: I don't have any mucklucks.
• 1:19
  SPEAKER_03: That's David's David's thing, mucklucks.
• 1:23
SPEAKER_03: Nobody knows down here, they don't know what mucklucks are.
• 1:26
SPEAKER_03: Did you ever have mucklucks?
• 1:28
  SPEAKER_03: I never had mucklucks.
• 1:30
  SPEAKER_03: His microphone's not on.
• 1:31
  SPEAKER_03: I think.
• 1:33
  SPEAKER_05: Do what?
• 1:33
  SPEAKER_05: There we go.
• 1:34
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
• 1:35
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
• 1:35
SPEAKER_05: I think you can get shots for that.
• 1:37
  SPEAKER_05: Mucklucks.
• 1:39
  SPEAKER_05: So Larry Booster.
• 1:40
SPEAKER_03: Larry Baldwin is with us, and uh Marshall Booker is with us as well, Texas Truckworks.
• 1:45
SPEAKER_03: So you work at Texas Truckworks.
• 1:48
SPEAKER_06: I've worked at Texas TruckWorks uh 17 years now.
• 1:51
  SPEAKER_03: 17 years.
• 1:53
SPEAKER_03: And they're still not getting shots that'll keep you from that.
• 1:56
SPEAKER_03: And and you um are a customer.
• 1:59
  SPEAKER_02: I am.
• 2:00
SPEAKER_02: You've been a customer for almost 15 years, and I help out these kind of events, and we travel to Moab and do some of the Jeep events, the truck events.
• 2:08
  SPEAKER_02: Absolutely, yeah.
• 2:09
SPEAKER_03: They get to go out and have all the fun.
• 2:10
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 2:11
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, he would be stuck in the streets.
• 2:12
SPEAKER_03: And you're stuck back at the store.
• 2:15
SPEAKER_06: You build what he drives.
• 2:16
  SPEAKER_06: Correct.
• 2:16
  SPEAKER_06: Exactly.
• 2:18
SPEAKER_03: So um, where are you guys located up at Texas Truckworks?
• 2:22
SPEAKER_06: We're at the back of the woodlands, between the woodlands and Magnolia.
• 2:25
  SPEAKER_06: Okay.
• 2:26
SPEAKER_06: And what what road is that?
• 2:27
  SPEAKER_06: 2978, just south of 1488.
• 2:31
  SPEAKER_06: There you go.
• 2:32
  SPEAKER_06: I've been up there.
• 2:34
SPEAKER_05: Uh you had a what you had the big truck.
• 2:36
SPEAKER_05: You had a monster truck at one time?
• 2:38
SPEAKER_02: Uh no, that's the owner, Scott Stevens.
• 2:40
  SPEAKER_02: Scott Stevens.
• 2:41
  SPEAKER_02: The King Crunch driver.
• 2:42
SPEAKER_02: His son now drives for Monster Jam, the Thunder Rorus truck.
• 2:45
  SPEAKER_05: Right, right, right.
• 2:46
  SPEAKER_05: So what truck?
• 2:47
  SPEAKER_02: Thunder Rorus.
• 2:48
  SPEAKER_05: Thunder Roras.
• 2:49
  SPEAKER_05: Thunder Aurorus.
• 2:50
SPEAKER_05: Now you all are coming here next weekend or in two weeks here?
• 2:53
SPEAKER_02: No, I think the next two weekends.
• 2:54
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 2:55
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 2:55
SPEAKER_02: There'll be a Monster Jam show at the NRG Stadium.
• 2:58
  SPEAKER_02: Gotcha.
• 2:58
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
• 2:58
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 2:59
SPEAKER_03: We're across the street over here at NRG Center.
• 3:03
  SPEAKER_03: That's it.
• 3:03
  SPEAKER_05: It's just a massive competition.
• 3:04
SPEAKER_05: I get lost coming to the state.
• 3:06
  SPEAKER_05: It's huge.
• 3:07
SPEAKER_05: So Larry with me on that.
• 3:08
SPEAKER_03: Larry, let's talk about Texas Truck Works and find out about what you guys do up there.
• 3:14
SPEAKER_03: I know that you don't necessarily do nothing but trucks, because you do other things as well.
• 3:19
SPEAKER_06: Trucks and Jeeps are the hot item, but we really do anything.
• 3:22
SPEAKER_06: If you need uh commercial fleet work, we do that.
• 3:25
SPEAKER_06: If you need a trailer hitch, if you need a set of mud flaps, yeah, anything aftermarket, we do.
• 3:32
SPEAKER_03: What what is what is the number one thing that you guys do?
• 3:36
SPEAKER_03: That the biggest moneymaker that you have?
• 3:38
  SPEAKER_03: Probably bed covers.
• 3:40
  SPEAKER_03: Bed covers.
• 3:42
SPEAKER_03: I was waiting for you to say, well, uh, yeah, we do uh lifts.
• 3:45
SPEAKER_06: Lift, tires, wheels, leveling is much more popular than the lifts.
• 3:49
SPEAKER_06: There's so many trucks leveled.
• 3:51
  SPEAKER_03: What a level.
• 3:52
  SPEAKER_03: Leveling, yes.
• 3:53
  SPEAKER_03: Right.
• 3:53
  SPEAKER_06: So air suspensions?
• 3:55
SPEAKER_06: Yeah, we do a little bit of that for the heavy hauling loads.
• 3:59
SPEAKER_06: Uh the air helper bags to go in the back.
• 4:02
SPEAKER_06: Uh the level kit just brings the front end two inches so that the truck sits flat, or you can lower the rear two inches.
• 4:09
SPEAKER_06: Yeah, I see a lot of them with the back end.
• 4:11
SPEAKER_05: Is that against the law or something?
• 4:13
  SPEAKER_06: I don't know.
• 4:14
SPEAKER_06: It doesn't make sense to me to see it out here.
• 4:16
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, I see them though.
• 4:18
  SPEAKER_06: Yep.
• 4:20
SPEAKER_03: So tell me about you and how you got involved in this message.
• 4:25
SPEAKER_02: I've always loved four-wheel drive, jeeps, and trucks since I was a little kid, like most little kids.
• 4:30
SPEAKER_02: And uh just when I got enough to, you know, swipe the credit cards, and you know, we just it never ends what you start with, oh, I won't change the wheels or tires, and then the bumpers, and then lights, and you know, off-road lockers and things like that.
• 4:42
SPEAKER_02: I know all about all of that, yes, of course.
• 4:44
SPEAKER_02: Just when you think you're done, oh I think I'm done with it.
• 4:46
SPEAKER_02: You see something else somebody else has, oh, I want to do it.
• 4:49
SPEAKER_02: Or that doesn't go good with this anymore.
• 4:50
SPEAKER_02: I want to change it out.
• 4:51
  SPEAKER_03: I'm a Corvette owner, I know.
• 4:54
  SPEAKER_03: It's a slipway cloud, yes, sir.
• 4:55
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, exactly.
• 4:56
SPEAKER_03: So do you have a real job?
• 4:58
SPEAKER_02: I'm an airline pilot for uh United.
• 5:01
SPEAKER_02: I'm a captain on the 737 here at Intercontinental.
• 5:03
SPEAKER_02: Well, that's not here, that's up there.
• 5:05
SPEAKER_02: Well, I mean here in Houston.
• 5:07
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
• 5:07
  SPEAKER_02: But uh too technical.
• 5:09
SPEAKER_02: The day that feels like a real job, I'm gonna equip.
• 5:10
SPEAKER_02: So we have fun and do all the Jeep things, they're able to travel and flexible schedule, and it's a lot of fun.
• 5:15
SPEAKER_02: We've done the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab.
• 5:17
SPEAKER_02: It's always the week before Easter every year, it's whenever Easter is.
• 5:19
  SPEAKER_02: Right.
• 5:20
SPEAKER_02: And it's just Jeep is there with prototypes and all the vendors, and it's just a good time with off-roading we do rock crawling and overlanding, not the mudding.
• 5:28
SPEAKER_02: We don't do all that stuff.
• 5:29
  SPEAKER_02: That's a lot.
• 5:29
SPEAKER_02: You break stuff and you're you're cleaning for weeks.
• 5:31
SPEAKER_02: I was just gonna say is we've got to get the hose out all the time.
• 5:35
SPEAKER_02: You'll never get it all.
• 5:36
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, it's a different type of clientele.
• 5:39
  SPEAKER_05: It's a different exactly.
• 5:40
SPEAKER_02: They're out there and there's you know a need for it.
• 5:42
SPEAKER_02: So, what is your daily driver?
• 5:44
SPEAKER_02: Uh I have a 2014 Jeep that I use, and I have a RAM truck that I also drive.
• 5:48
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 5:49
SPEAKER_02: But we have everything we have is Mopar, Stellanus, Dodge, and RAM and Jeep.
• 5:53
  SPEAKER_02: Yep.
• 5:54
SPEAKER_06: He also has the new 392 Hemi Jeep.
• 5:58
SPEAKER_02: Two of the Jeeps are over at the Texas Truckworks display.
• 6:01
  SPEAKER_02: Okay.
• 6:01
SPEAKER_02: Oh, you got a display here.
• 6:02
SPEAKER_02: Yes, we're right on the back here.
• 6:04
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, on the other side, yeah.
• 6:05
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 6:05
  SPEAKER_03: Well that's handy.
• 6:06
SPEAKER_03: So it's wonder who, huh.
• 6:08
SPEAKER_03: Imagine you being over here by the Jeeps and the RAMs, and you've got your funny how that works out.
• 6:12
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's funny how that works out.
• 6:14
SPEAKER_03: Um so I've got a brand new theory or theoretically.
• 6:22
  SPEAKER_03: Theoretically, you do.
• 6:23
SPEAKER_03: I have a brand new RAM 1500 with a HEMI in it.
• 6:28
SPEAKER_03: Got a Hemi in it.
• 6:29
  SPEAKER_03: Yes, right.
• 6:30
SPEAKER_03: And I kind of want to, you know, make it my own.
• 6:34
SPEAKER_03: I want everybody to know, hey, that's Don's car.
• 6:36
  SPEAKER_03: Truck.
• 6:38
SPEAKER_06: Well, depending on how you're going to use it.
• 6:41
SPEAKER_03: I know, but you know, I don't have an unlimited budget here.
• 6:45
SPEAKER_03: And so I think that the first thing I want is I I want to get some tires and wheels.
• 6:50
SPEAKER_03: Because that seems to be the most popular thing to do to make it yourself.
• 6:53
  SPEAKER_03: Right.
• 6:53
SPEAKER_06: Again, put a little level kit to bring the front end up two inches, then brand new 20s.
• 6:58
SPEAKER_03: Okay, so how much does it cost to bring the front end up by two inches?
• 7:02
SPEAKER_06: There's different options way to do it, but it's less than a thousand dollars.
• 7:05
SPEAKER_03: Less than a thousand bucks.
• 7:07
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 7:07
  SPEAKER_03: Okay, got that.
• 7:08
SPEAKER_03: You can go more, you can go less, but a thousand bucks is generally speaking.
• 7:13
  SPEAKER_03: Yes.
• 7:13
  SPEAKER_06: That's it.
• 7:13
  SPEAKER_06: An average.
• 7:14
  SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
• 7:14
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 7:15
SPEAKER_03: Now I don't want to go some, you know, high dollar three-piece wheels.
• 7:19
  SPEAKER_03: I don't care about that.
• 7:20
SPEAKER_03: You know what I'm talking about?
• 7:22
  SPEAKER_03: I'm a regular guy.
• 7:23
SPEAKER_03: And now I'm gonna have to get something bigger, you know.
• 7:26
SPEAKER_03: So I'm gonna have to buy some new tires to go with it.
• 7:29
SPEAKER_03: You guys do that too?
• 7:30
  SPEAKER_03: Absolutely.
• 7:31
SPEAKER_06: Yes, and do some 20s with uh about a 33-inch tall tire.
• 7:35
SPEAKER_06: Uh depending on whether you're using it.
• 7:37
  SPEAKER_03: I don't like rubber band tires.
• 7:38
SPEAKER_03: No, no, we don't either.
• 7:40
  SPEAKER_06: We're not fans of the 24s to 26s.
• 7:43
  SPEAKER_06: That's what I prefer.
• 7:45
SPEAKER_03: This is old, this is just me talking.
• 7:47
SPEAKER_03: Um was it the Jeep?
• 7:49
SPEAKER_03: Was it a Jeep Wrangler or was it a truck?
• 7:51
  SPEAKER_03: I don't remember.
• 7:53
SPEAKER_03: But off-road, it was it had smaller wheels.
• 7:57
SPEAKER_03: Of course, they were three-piece, but I don't need that.
• 7:59
SPEAKER_03: Just the look is good.
• 8:01
SPEAKER_03: Smaller wheels with big fat tires on them.
• 8:03
SPEAKER_03: Looked like I could go anywhere there.
• 8:05
  SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
• 8:06
  SPEAKER_03: That's that's my look.
• 8:07
  SPEAKER_03: Right.
• 8:07
SPEAKER_06: Right, and on a Jeep, I'd say do 17s, not do the 20s.
• 8:11
  SPEAKER_06: Right.
• 8:11
  SPEAKER_06: But still a 33.
• 8:12
  SPEAKER_06: But no 35.
• 8:13
  SPEAKER_06: 35.
• 8:14
SPEAKER_06: Not on a Jeep, but one at 35, yes.
• 8:16
  SPEAKER_02: At least 35, 37, up to 42-inch tires.
• 8:19
  SPEAKER_03: I don't want any rubbing.
• 8:20
SPEAKER_03: I don't want to have to do any major modifications yet.
• 8:24
SPEAKER_03: But I want that look, you know.
• 8:26
  SPEAKER_06: Yep.
• 8:26
SPEAKER_06: But like I say, if you're doing the truck, the level kit just gonna run up and down the highway as good and perfect as they did when you drove it off the lot on the Jeep.
• 8:35
SPEAKER_06: You go a little taller, you make it your own.
• 8:37
SPEAKER_06: But if you still need to run 80 miles an hour to San Antonio and back, you can.
• 8:42
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah, that's what I want.
• 8:43
SPEAKER_05: You would need a winch because you're probably gonna get stuck.
• 8:46
  SPEAKER_05: We do sell winches.
• 8:47
SPEAKER_03: I am stuck, I'm stuck on this car show.
• 8:49
  SPEAKER_03: That's what I'm stuck on.
• 8:51
SPEAKER_03: Um so okay, so do you have guys like me that want to come in there and do that sort of thing?
• 8:56
  SPEAKER_03: That is our customer.
• 8:58
SPEAKER_02: Yes, that is what we do.
• 8:59
  SPEAKER_02: The everyday guys, yeah.
• 9:00
  SPEAKER_02: Wow.
• 9:01
SPEAKER_02: That's how you got started.
• 9:02
  SPEAKER_02: Yes, sir, yeah.
• 9:03
  SPEAKER_02: Shade.
• 9:04
SPEAKER_02: Drive it all week and then play on the weekends and be able to drive it home and do the trails you want to do and join a club.
• 9:10
  SPEAKER_02: Absolutely.
• 9:10
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, off the Jeep clubs.
• 9:12
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they're endless.
• 9:14
SPEAKER_05: I had a customer of mine that used to live in California.
• 9:16
SPEAKER_05: He's moved to Texas with a family business, big business, and he goes to Arizona with his Jeep.
• 9:22
SPEAKER_05: He's been to Moab, but he goes out there like once a month and does whatever they do, the trails, right, rock climbing and stuff like that.
• 9:29
  SPEAKER_05: He's got a couple.
• 9:30
SPEAKER_05: Uh they don't look like jeeps, they look like they're made to do they look like they'll hurt you, you know.
• 9:36
SPEAKER_06: Well, that's the beauty of the Jeep is you build it for what you do with it.
• 9:39
  SPEAKER_06: Exactly.
• 9:40
SPEAKER_06: If you need to go get groceries, or if you want to go climb the mountains, Jeep will do it.
• 9:45
SPEAKER_03: You know, and don't get me wrong, I mean I love brand new Jeeps.
• 9:50
SPEAKER_03: But gosh, I I'm good with one that's got about 35,000 miles on it.
• 9:54
SPEAKER_03: That no the person that owned it before, they haven't done a thing to it except drove it and changed the oil in it.
• 10:00
  SPEAKER_03: That's it.
• 10:00
  SPEAKER_03: Right.
• 10:01
  SPEAKER_03: That's where I want to start.
• 10:02
SPEAKER_03: So do you have customers that you help like that?
• 10:05
  SPEAKER_03: All the time.
• 10:06
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 10:06
  SPEAKER_03: Yes.
• 10:07
SPEAKER_05: And my question is, do you what is a obviously it's more guys than girls coming in?
• 10:13
SPEAKER_05: Not as much as it used to be.
• 10:14
  SPEAKER_05: Okay.
• 10:15
  SPEAKER_05: It's catching up.
• 10:15
SPEAKER_05: That's my question is absolutely what is the balance?
• 10:17
SPEAKER_06: No, is the Jeep girls becoming more and more popular, and that's why you'll see the pink Jeeps running up down the highways.
• 10:23
SPEAKER_06: You go to the Jeep Club events and they'll be able to 50-50.
• 10:26
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we do when we do the trail stuff, we have multiple Jeeps.
• 10:29
SPEAKER_02: So my wife has been starting to drive some and get confidence, she loves it.
• 10:32
SPEAKER_02: And then there's women's runs that we do on some trails and you know, some charity events like that, uh things to do.
• 10:37
SPEAKER_02: But yeah, it's the women are really they're stepping up on uh catching us up on the city.
• 10:41
SPEAKER_05: That would be a good interview for future, you know.
• 10:43
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, some of the Jeep ladies put jeep in touch with that.
• 10:47
  SPEAKER_03: Yep.
• 10:48
SPEAKER_03: What's the most popular motor?
• 10:51
  SPEAKER_03: Not the 392.
• 10:53
  SPEAKER_03: That that's that's a weirdo.
• 10:55
  SPEAKER_03: That's the thing.
• 10:55
  SPEAKER_03: That's that's a Don Armstrong.
• 10:57
  SPEAKER_03: No, I got that.
• 10:59
SPEAKER_03: But um the V6 or the 4?
• 11:02
SPEAKER_06: The V6, and that's when in 2012 when Jeep JK went to that 3.6 finestar, that's when it had enough power, it rode good, it drove good, and Jeeps really started selling well.
• 11:15
SPEAKER_03: And what year is that?
• 11:16
  SPEAKER_06: 12.
• 11:17
  SPEAKER_03: 2012.
• 11:18
  SPEAKER_06: 2012.
• 11:19
SPEAKER_06: And are they still putting that in, or is it available?
• 11:23
SPEAKER_06: It's still the same motor.
• 11:24
  SPEAKER_06: Yep.
• 11:24
SPEAKER_06: Now there's multiple options there for a long time.
• 11:26
SPEAKER_06: That was the only option, but now there's the multiples.
• 11:30
  SPEAKER_06: Uh okay, okay.
• 11:32
  SPEAKER_03: We know the 392.
• 11:33
SPEAKER_02: 392, the turbo diesel for a while and the 2.0 liter.
• 11:38
SPEAKER_02: 2.0 and then the electric.
• 11:39
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, the four by E's.
• 11:41
SPEAKER_03: Okay, well that that's the thing.
• 11:42
  SPEAKER_05: That's a different conversation, correct.
• 11:44
SPEAKER_05: You know, you've been talking about maybe parting with your Corvette for a while.
• 11:48
SPEAKER_05: You've been talking about the code.
• 11:48
SPEAKER_05: Would I go back to a Jeep?
• 11:50
  SPEAKER_05: No.
• 11:50
SPEAKER_05: No, I was gonna say, maybe that's maybe that's just add it.
• 11:54
  SPEAKER_05: Absolutely not.
• 11:55
  SPEAKER_05: No.
• 11:56
SPEAKER_05: No, the Corvette's his baby, garage camp covered, and all this stuff.
• 11:59
SPEAKER_03: Well, yeah, it's 25 years old and it's got 35,000 miles on it.
• 12:04
  SPEAKER_03: It's okay for now.
• 12:05
  SPEAKER_03: Sure, sure.
• 12:05
  SPEAKER_03: You know.
• 12:06
SPEAKER_03: Uh the only big problem that I have is that left knee for the clutch.
• 12:09
  SPEAKER_03: Oh, sure.
• 12:10
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, there's that.
• 12:11
SPEAKER_03: Oh, you you don't have anything to talk about.
• 12:14
  SPEAKER_05: He's wearing shit.
• 12:15
  SPEAKER_05: He's a young man.
• 12:16
  SPEAKER_05: He's wearing shits.
• 12:16
  SPEAKER_03: He's a young man.
• 12:19
SPEAKER_05: He's a pilot, so he's got to have both feet going, you know.
• 12:21
  SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah.
• 12:22
  SPEAKER_03: This is true.
• 12:22
SPEAKER_03: Doing barrel rolls and I'm good.
• 12:26
SPEAKER_03: I'm going the I'm going the route of uh, you know, a Cadillac CT.
• 12:32
  SPEAKER_03: Absolutely.
• 12:33
SPEAKER_03: That's where I am at the end.
• 12:34
  SPEAKER_03: Heated seats.
• 12:34
  SPEAKER_03: Yes.
• 12:35
SPEAKER_03: That's where I am at this point in my life.
• 12:37
SPEAKER_03: Something that's, you know, three years old.
• 12:39
  SPEAKER_03: I'm good.
• 12:39
  SPEAKER_03: I'm good.
• 12:40
  SPEAKER_03: Perfect.
• 12:41
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I'm not trying to impress anybody, but uh I could see you in a Jeep.
• 12:46
  SPEAKER_05: I could see you.
• 12:46
  SPEAKER_05: And I had a Jeep.
• 12:47
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah, I know.
• 12:48
SPEAKER_03: Uh a long time ago.
• 12:49
  SPEAKER_03: Gosh, about 1980.
• 12:52
SPEAKER_03: And I bought it off the showroom floor at Archer.
• 12:56
  unknown: Okay.
• 12:57
SPEAKER_03: With Archer Jeep on 59.
• 12:59
SPEAKER_03: Bought it off the showroom floor.
• 13:01
SPEAKER_03: White with a black vinyl interior, two-door.
• 13:05
SPEAKER_03: Of course, that's all they had back then.
• 13:07
  SPEAKER_03: Right.
• 13:07
SPEAKER_03: And it had the Pontiac four-cylinder engine in it.
• 13:10
SPEAKER_06: Yep, but it had square headlights and leaf spring.
• 13:13
SPEAKER_03: No, it did not have square headlights.
• 13:15
  SPEAKER_03: No.
• 13:15
  SPEAKER_03: No.
• 13:16
SPEAKER_03: No, well, no, no, not no square headlights.
• 13:18
SPEAKER_05: Well, only real jeeps have round headlights.
• 13:20
  SPEAKER_05: That's right.
• 13:20
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
• 13:21
  SPEAKER_05: I've learned that.
• 13:22
SPEAKER_03: How many years did they put those square headlights in?
• 13:24
  SPEAKER_03: Two, three?
• 13:25
  SPEAKER_03: Seven years.
• 13:25
  SPEAKER_03: Too many.
• 13:28
SPEAKER_05: We got a one-year answer over here.
• 13:30
  SPEAKER_03: Okay, well, whatever.
• 13:31
  SPEAKER_03: It was the wall.
• 13:33
SPEAKER_03: That's that that yeah, that's just wrong on every level.
• 13:36
SPEAKER_03: Um, and the four-cylinder engine, it was puny.
• 13:41
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 13:41
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 13:42
SPEAKER_03: It need it needed more oomph.
• 13:44
SPEAKER_06: Well, those were built for playing.
• 13:46
SPEAKER_06: Those were not built for driving.
• 13:48
  SPEAKER_03: Oh.
• 13:48
SPEAKER_06: And the new Jeeps are built for driving.
• 13:51
  SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
• 13:51
SPEAKER_03: Well, that particular one had uh locking front axles off.
• 13:55
SPEAKER_03: They had to get out and turn it and turn the knobs.
• 13:58
SPEAKER_03: What a pain that was.
• 13:59
SPEAKER_03: I had a pickup truck like that, yeah.
• 14:01
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so we're done with that.
• 14:03
SPEAKER_03: So do you guys do any engine work?
• 14:06
  SPEAKER_03: We do.
• 14:08
SPEAKER_03: What kind of engine work?
• 14:09
  SPEAKER_06: Tuning, mainly.
• 14:11
  SPEAKER_06: Mainly.
• 14:11
SPEAKER_06: So air boxes and things like that.
• 14:14
SPEAKER_06: A little bit of air boxes, a little bit of exhaust.
• 14:18
SPEAKER_06: More, we probably do more engine swaps.
• 14:21
  SPEAKER_06: Really?
• 14:21
  SPEAKER_06: Engine swaps.
• 14:22
SPEAKER_06: Putting the Hemis in the Jeeps.
• 14:24
SPEAKER_06: So do you do your own work or you take it to him and do it?
• 14:26
SPEAKER_06: I take it to them.
• 14:27
SPEAKER_02: Or do you don't wrench on your own?
• 14:28
  SPEAKER_02: I wish.
• 14:29
  SPEAKER_02: I'll mess it up.
• 14:29
SPEAKER_02: So I trust you're not going to be able to do that.
• 14:30
SPEAKER_02: You do not say LS.
• 14:32
  SPEAKER_02: Put LS's in Jeeps.
• 14:33
  SPEAKER_02: Absolutely not.
• 14:35
  SPEAKER_02: Absolutely.
• 14:36
  SPEAKER_02: Absolutely not.
• 14:37
  SPEAKER_03: I'm on your side.
• 14:42
  SPEAKER_02: What?
• 14:42
  SPEAKER_02: Yep.
• 14:43
SPEAKER_02: You'll see Jeeps with Corvette engines in them.
• 14:45
  unknown: Shh.
• 14:46
SPEAKER_05: Well, I could see that.
• 14:47
  SPEAKER_05: I would, yeah.
• 14:49
SPEAKER_03: Well, that's another world that uh I'm not part of that world.
• 14:54
SPEAKER_03: I believe it if it comes as a Ford, it needs to have a Ford motor.
• 15:00
  SPEAKER_03: And I like a coyote engine.
• 15:01
  SPEAKER_03: Why not?
• 15:02
  SPEAKER_03: Let's do that.
• 15:02
  SPEAKER_03: Absolutely.
• 15:03
  SPEAKER_03: I'm good with that.
• 15:04
SPEAKER_06: Not that I'm a Ford guy, but we've also done Hellcats in Jeeps.
• 15:07
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you can put a coyote in a Jeep.
• 15:09
SPEAKER_03: You can put a Hellcat in a Jeep.
• 15:10
  SPEAKER_03: That's fine.
• 15:11
  SPEAKER_03: It's the same bloodline.
• 15:13
  SPEAKER_03: I got all that.
• 15:14
  SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
• 15:14
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I just can't I can't do that.
• 15:16
  SPEAKER_03: It's too much.
• 15:18
SPEAKER_06: I'm under agreement with you, but if that's what the customer wants, I know.
• 15:22
  SPEAKER_06: I know.
• 15:22
  SPEAKER_03: It's a payday, and I get I get that.
• 15:24
SPEAKER_03: Oh, I got an LS.
• 15:26
  SPEAKER_03: No.
• 15:28
SPEAKER_02: We even had more like to do an old stroker engine in them, like a GM engine in older Jeeps.
• 15:33
SPEAKER_02: You see those are some rock crawlers.
• 15:35
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 15:36
SPEAKER_02: A little simple to work on, you know, like no tech or anything, so there are people like those because you can get anything off the shelf to repair.
• 15:42
  SPEAKER_02: That's true.
• 15:43
SPEAKER_02: Some people like that too.
• 15:44
SPEAKER_03: Something with a carburetor on.
• 15:46
  SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
• 15:47
SPEAKER_03: If you can find anybody that knows how to work on a carburetor, well, you know, I I'm not going to admit to that, but uh I've been known to mess with it a time or two.
• 15:56
SPEAKER_05: This is the wrong show to find that out.
• 15:58
SPEAKER_05: You need to go to a hot rod show or a cruise in to find out all those guys.
• 16:02
SPEAKER_05: Those guys do that in that world more than we do, absolutely.
• 16:04
SPEAKER_03: So you do you guys go to that uh that big uh truck show up at uh uh Codro?
• 16:09
  SPEAKER_03: Oh Long Star?
• 16:10
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 16:11
  SPEAKER_06: Yes.
• 16:12
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 16:12
  SPEAKER_03: Yep.
• 16:13
SPEAKER_03: So people that are listening that are into trucks, you can come in here and get you a truck.
• 16:20
SPEAKER_03: There's one right over there.
• 16:21
  SPEAKER_03: Right.
• 16:22
  SPEAKER_03: Yep.
• 16:22
SPEAKER_03: Take it right over there, do some wings bang magic to it over there.
• 16:27
SPEAKER_02: I didn't get your boat, we'll pull the boy, help you pull the boat.
• 16:30
SPEAKER_02: So it's funny you should have a lot of things.
• 16:31
SPEAKER_05: You know, maybe you should get a boat and put it on a trailer back here and say, this is your package.
• 16:36
SPEAKER_06: Well, if you haven't seen our display, we have a 53-foot trailer with three Jeeps on it.
• 16:40
  SPEAKER_05: I haven't been over there yet.

SPEAKER_03: That is not turned into the room.
• 21:30

• 23:42
SPEAKER_03: Uh they're probably fake, and uh this is probably not a stock car.
• 23:46
SPEAKER_03: My guess is it's a resto mod that looks really stock, but I don't think it is.
• 23:50
SPEAKER_03: How much do you think a 65 Chevy Corvette?
• 23:54
SPEAKER_03: Clean, it looks black, and it looks stock.

• 24:33
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's priceless and it's uh has no end to the length of it.
• 24:37
SPEAKER_03: Uh, how much do you think something like that would sell for?
• 24:41
SPEAKER_03: Now this looks like it's been around the block a couple of times.
• 24:44
SPEAKER_03: It's a parade car is what they did.

• 25:29
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 25:29
SPEAKER_03: It's the only version, but the Porsche Panamera.
• 25:32
  SPEAKER_04: What year is it?
• 25:33
  SPEAKER_03: It's uh 2014, so it's 12 years old.
• 25:36
SPEAKER_04: Main thing is it's four doors.
• 25:38
  SPEAKER_04: It's four doors.
• 25:39
  SPEAKER_03: I'm thinking.
• 25:40
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 25:40
SPEAKER_03: So what do you think something like that would sell for?
• 25:43
  SPEAKER_01: How many miles?
• 25:44
  SPEAKER_03: Don't have the miles.
• 25:46
  SPEAKER_03: Don't have the miles.
• 25:48
  SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna go 21.
• 25:49
  SPEAKER_03: 21.
• 25:50
  SPEAKER_01: David Lust says 59k.
• 25:53
  SPEAKER_01: 59k.
• 25:55
  SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna go 35.
• 25:58
SPEAKER_03: Okay, well, I selected this car because of the price.
• 26:01
  SPEAKER_03: It sold for$12,075.
• 26:04
  SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
• 26:05
SPEAKER_03: I that's what I that was my reaction, going, what?
• 26:08
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 26:09
SPEAKER_03: Next up, a 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge.
• 26:14
SPEAKER_03: And I will tell you, based on the price, it's probably uh uh original?
• 26:20
  SPEAKER_03: It's it's it's probably an original.
• 26:22
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's probably an original.
• 26:24
SPEAKER_03: It's probably had a repaint, would be my guess.
• 26:27
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, um, but it looks stock.
• 26:30
  SPEAKER_03: Pontiac Judge.
• 26:31
SPEAKER_03: However, it doesn't have those great big things across the wheel openings.
• 26:35
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, the uh the uh stickers, yeah.
• 26:38
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, whatever.
• 26:39
SPEAKER_03: Um so 69, Pontiac GTO Judge.
• 26:42
  SPEAKER_05: 32.
• 26:43
  SPEAKER_03: 32.
• 26:45
SPEAKER_03: Would you like to guess?
• 26:46
  SPEAKER_03: I don't have mileage.
• 26:47
  SPEAKER_01: It says 37,000.
• 26:48
  SPEAKER_03: 37,000?
• 26:49
  SPEAKER_03: Ben's going.
• 26:50
  SPEAKER_01: I'm going higher.
• 26:52

• 26:55
  SPEAKER_03: $63,000.
• 26:57
  SPEAKER_03: Ben!
• 26:57
SPEAKER_04: David Love came in at 29, so everybody was kind of under their okay.
• 27:02
SPEAKER_03: Next up next up is a white pickup truck, 1997 model year, Chevrolet K 1500.
• 27:10
  SPEAKER_03: Four by four.
• 27:11
  SPEAKER_03: Uh-huh, yeah.
• 27:12
  SPEAKER_03: Four by four.
• 27:14
SPEAKER_03: And uh I picked this because it is a standard two-door pickup truck.
• 27:20
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 27:22
  SPEAKER_03: And it's a 1500, so it's a half ton.
• 27:24
SPEAKER_04: It's got a big cover or something on it, Z71.
• 27:27
  SPEAKER_04: Whatever.
• 27:27
  SPEAKER_04: Whatever.
• 27:28
  SPEAKER_01: How many miles?
• 27:29

• 27:37
  SPEAKER_03: 12,000.
• 27:38
  SPEAKER_03: 12,000, Jeff says.
• 27:40
  SPEAKER_04: 17.
• 27:41
  SPEAKER_03: 17?
• 27:42

• 27:52
  SPEAKER_03: That's about it.
• 27:52
SPEAKER_03: Okay, next up, 1970 Plymouth Batacuda.
• 27:56

• 28:07
  SPEAKER_03: Don't be shy.

• 28:28
  SPEAKER_03: It sold for$187,975.
• 28:33
SPEAKER_03: That's why I made it a point to say I think it looks like it may be a Hall Original.
• 28:37
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 28:37
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, and it it could be a$440 or I don't know what it is.
