• 0:02
Speaker 1: US Live Gevin Good morning, Morning Ron. A thirteen year
• 0:06
Speaker 1: old girl has pleaded guilty over charges to do with
• 0:09
  Speaker 1: those riots.
• 0:10
Speaker 2: What for. Yes, this was for a protest at a
• 0:14
Speaker 2: hotel housing asylum seekers in Aldershot, to the south and
• 0:19
Speaker 2: west of London. It's a former army town, still got
• 0:21
Speaker 2: big army presence there and prosecutor said the girl was
• 0:24
Speaker 2: among a crowd gathered outside a hotel that was being
• 0:28
Speaker 2: used to house asylum seekers and she was seen punching
• 0:31
Speaker 2: and kicking at the entrance of the hotel. Of course
• 0:34
Speaker 2: the asylum seekers inside, I dare say it, were pretty terrified.
• 0:38
Speaker 2: A police officer was injured when disorder broke out at
• 0:40
Speaker 2: the demonstration. There were roughly two hundred protesters there dating
• 0:44
Speaker 2: back onto the thirty first of July. The girl can't
• 0:47
Speaker 2: be named for legal reasons. And at Basingstone Magistrates' Court
• 0:50
Speaker 2: she sat with her parents and it was a short
• 0:53
Speaker 2: hearing and the prosecutor said that actually, do you know
• 0:57
Speaker 2: what if this had been a girl of sentencing age
• 1:02
Speaker 2: in other words, not a young girl as she was,
• 1:04
Speaker 2: then she would have been recommending a two year custodial sentence. Yesterday, Ryan,
• 1:09
Speaker 2: two twelve year old boys, became the youngest to be
• 1:12
Speaker 2: convicted following recent disorder.
• 1:15
Speaker 1: Given a quick update on the wildfires that are riding
• 1:19
Speaker 1: near Ethens and Grace.
• 1:21
Speaker 2: Yeah, they've sort of peeped out into smaller hotspots which
• 1:25
Speaker 2: are still being fought. But sadly we now know that
• 1:28
Speaker 2: there has been at least one victim. It's a sixty
• 1:30
Speaker 2: three year old woman whose body was found in a
• 1:32
Speaker 2: burnt out factory just on the outskirts of Athens, the
• 1:35
Speaker 2: first confirmed victim of the fire that's torn through one
• 1:38
Speaker 2: hundred thousand acres of land, leaving dozens more injured. Colleagues
• 1:42
Speaker 2: said she'd been too scared to jump from the building
• 1:44
Speaker 2: as the flames came close, and she then became trapped
• 1:47
Speaker 2: inside and died. So this situation still very very tense
• 1:51
Speaker 2: in Greece, particularly around Athens, with the temperatures still very high.
• 1:58
