- 0:00SPEAKER_01: First thing I said to Allie when I walked through the studio door was, it's Friday, right?
- 0:07SPEAKER_01: It's Wednesday.
- 0:08SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 0:08SPEAKER_01: Hey, uh, by the way, welcome back to school, Pennsylvania, for many of you.
- 0:12SPEAKER_00: Yay!
- 0:14SPEAKER_01: We are glad to have you back with us.
- 0:16SPEAKER_00: So that means you guys gotta get back in the habit of messaging us.
- 0:19SPEAKER_00: Get on that app, the Wink 106 app, the Twin Tears Magic app, the My Radio Jams app.
- 0:25SPEAKER_00: When was the last time you said good, everyone, to us?
- 0:28SPEAKER_01: That's right.
- 0:28SPEAKER_01: You might have been on a later schedule or whatever.
- 0:31SPEAKER_01: I I already see Kenny734 gave us a good morning, everyone.
- 0:34SPEAKER_01: He kind of encapsulated everything.
- 0:36SPEAKER_01: Good morning, sir.
- 0:38SPEAKER_01: Uh Betty's in with uh, let's see.
- 0:40SPEAKER_01: Oh, what did she say?
- 0:41SPEAKER_01: At 5 40, my granddaughter's 13-year-old has uh uh let's see, his scream on TV.
- 0:47SPEAKER_01: I don't like horror.
- 0:49SPEAKER_01: Oh no.
- 0:49SPEAKER_01: Oh, that's a wake-up watching scream at 5 45 in the morning.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: Wow, and the fact that your granddaughter is already up.
- 0:57SPEAKER_01: But you can't wait for her to go back to school in New York.
- 0:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah, because I know that they're they're at Spencer Van Atten.
- 1:02SPEAKER_01: Three weeks, Patty.
- 1:04SPEAKER_01: Three weeks.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: That's all you gotta do.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: You gotta just just power through it.
- 1:07SPEAKER_00: It's weird because I saw so I always see this one house down the street from me that they've got like all the lights blasting.
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: I assume they're probably getting up for and ready for work.
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: Because you know, you have the same people who kind of are going to work around the same time.
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: Figure the schedules, yeah.
- 1:20SPEAKER_00: But it was it's an apartment house, and I'm just so glad I don't live in an apartment house anymore.
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: Because if you're the person living below her and she's blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 1:30SPEAKER_01: She's up and around, or he's up and around, you're like, oh my god.
- 1:33SPEAKER_01: Yes, go to bed.
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: Go back to bed.
- 1:35SPEAKER_01: Love what David 4310 said.
- 1:37SPEAKER_01: God, you guys have some good usernames all of a sudden.
- 1:39SPEAKER_01: Uh, I'm curious.
- 1:40SPEAKER_01: 4310, is that also your number?
- 1:42SPEAKER_01: No.
- 1:42SPEAKER_01: That's 2226.
- 1:44SPEAKER_01: Well, all right, whatever.
- 1:45SPEAKER_01: Uh, it's uh good, everyone.
- 1:47SPEAKER_01: Happy Wang Out Wednesday rocks with Scott and Alley.
- 1:50SPEAKER_01: That's the energy for you.
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: That's so sweet.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: Oh, and did you mention John 317?
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: No, only Ileana.
- 1:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah, there they are.
- 1:57SPEAKER_01: Um, okay, so I'm gonna make an observation, and I'm not ready for it.
- 2:02SPEAKER_01: I'm really having a hard time with the fact that it's so dark in the morning when we leave.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: I was thinking the same thing.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: And as of last night, it started to get dark earlier.
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: So, what did I do after work yesterday?
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: Not much.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: It really wasn't much.
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: It was just like unpacking from the weekend.
- 2:18SPEAKER_01: But you start feeling it.
- 2:20SPEAKER_01: And and now I'm not gonna be like Rhonda, the meteorologist on ETM who's like doing a daily countdown of how much summer's left and how the time is changing.
- 2:28SPEAKER_01: I'm like, Rhonda, let it go for a little bit, will you?
- 2:31SPEAKER_01: Um but this mor now, the mornings though, that's where I really notice it.
- 2:35SPEAKER_01: The evenings, yes.
- 2:36SPEAKER_01: I mean, yeah, but uh, but the mornings, I'm like, No, which scares me about something.
- 2:40SPEAKER_01: I'm I'm not gonna lie to you.
- 2:41SPEAKER_01: Didn't you read to me from the Farmer's Almanac this winter, lots of heavy wet snow?
- 2:46SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 2:47SPEAKER_01: It scares me because I feel like we're getting darker earlier.
- 2:51SPEAKER_01: We're probably not, but it either my senses are picking it up, which makes me sit there and go, Oh, maybe we're gonna have a crap winter, which is an awful or awful early prediction for me.
- 3:00SPEAKER_01: But I'm just saying, it's like all this goes through my mind.
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: I even smelled a different smell yesterday.
- 3:06SPEAKER_01: I didn't get that yet.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: It wasn't the full-on fall smell, but um it was that just a waft of something is changing.
- 3:14SPEAKER_01: Could have been my trees coming down and all the sawdust.
- 3:16SPEAKER_01: I mean, that's a possibility.
- 3:17SPEAKER_01: It could have traveled to Corning.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: But then even this morning.
- 3:23SPEAKER_01: Why not buwdust?
- 3:24SPEAKER_00: But then this morning, it was still just like really chilly and it felt like back to school.
- 3:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: Which I wasn't really ready for because I still had my air on, which I really didn't need to have my air on.
- 3:36SPEAKER_00: But even yesterday, we got home from work.
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: Oh, I know what I did.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: I mowed my grass.
- 3:41SPEAKER_00: So I mowed my grass, I did all that kind of stuff, you know, getting back into the swing of things after being gone for the weekend.
- 3:47SPEAKER_00: And Zach came over, he started to grill, and for some reason I said, It's a really beautiful night, but I need to sit in front of the TV right now and watch tires.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: So watch what?
- 3:59SPEAKER_00: It's called Tires.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: Are you into racing shows now?
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: No, it's about a uh so it's a comedian named Shangillis, it's his show, and it's about how they work at a Valley Forge auto.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: So it's that like a sitcom.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: Like a minor key.
- 4:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's very sitcommy.
- 4:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's funny.
- 4:17SPEAKER_00: It's a great show.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: It's hysterical.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: Actually, I was dozing.
- 4:19SPEAKER_01: Now let me ask, does it have the crappy, shaky camera thing going on?
- 4:23SPEAKER_01: Because I know you love that back in the day.
- 4:25SPEAKER_00: No, it's it's not like the office, it's not like parks and rats.
- 4:27SPEAKER_01: Where they're trying to follow you around in real life and all you're doing is making me nauseous.
- 4:31SPEAKER_00: At least I no, I don't think so.
- 4:33SPEAKER_01: Okay, you've got to go back and check again.
- 4:35SPEAKER_00: The second we start watching it.
- 4:37SPEAKER_00: Zoom in, zoom out, you're like, I was I don't get that way.
- 4:40SPEAKER_01: I don't get like but I also horribly distracting.
- 4:43SPEAKER_01: And they did that, that was a huge thing in the middle of the 2000s.
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: Yes, we all watch The Office, Scott.
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: We all know.
- 4:50SPEAKER_01: That's one of the prime reasons I couldn't.
- 4:51SPEAKER_00: I know, I know.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: You can't, you will if if anyone brings up The Office, Scott will bring this up for a good five-minute combo.
- 4:58SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 4:58SPEAKER_01: Because the nausea, there's there's a huge section of people that were like thoroughly annoyed by that.
- 5:03SPEAKER_01: Then there's the people that are like, we like good humor.
- 5:05SPEAKER_00: Yes, it's fantastic humor.
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: So then I'm watching this show.
- 5:10SPEAKER_00: I'm laughing from the second it starts, but then I start to doze off.
- 5:14SPEAKER_01: Oh, that's typical.
- 5:15SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 5:16SPEAKER_00: It's after nine o'clock, it's about nine o'clock.
- 5:18SPEAKER_01: Now it's really dark.
- 5:19SPEAKER_00: Zach's laugh is waking me up.
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: I'm like, all right, I just gotta go to bed.
- 5:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you can knock that off.
- 5:24SPEAKER_01: Stop being so damn jolly.
