- 0:01This is a Radio PA news update. Pittsburgh police are releasing security video of
- 0:07the suspect in a rate reported near the Pit campus this past weekend. The
- 0:12attack happened early Sunday morning in an alley on campus. Investigators described the man
- 0:18as about thirty to forty years old with a thin build, standing about five
- 0:22feet six inches tall. He was wearing a ski mask, a long sleeved
- 0:25black shirt, and cargo pants at the time of the assault. According to
- 0:29detectives, they're asking anyone with info to give them a call. The number
- 0:32of Pennsylvania children without insurance has been steadily climbing over the past few years.
- 0:39John Schaefer has the numbers. A report by the Pennsylvania Partnerships for Children says
- 0:44about one hundred forty five thousand kids across the Commonwealth are currently without health insurance.
- 0:49The rate ticked up from four point four percent in twenty twenty one to
- 0:53five point two percent just a year later. The report speculates that the number
- 0:57of insured kids will continue to decrease as more coverage offered during COVID continues to
- 1:02be phased out. A teenager in Allegheny County is in custody after police say
- 1:07he opened fire on a pair of plane clothes officers. This happened Tuesday at
- 1:12a location on Woodward Avenue in Stowe Township. Reports say the officers were in
- 1:17an unmarked vehicle when seventeen year old Devonte Woodson started shooting at them and faces
- 1:22charges including attempted homicide. And A woman is recovering from injuries following a bear
- 1:27attack in Butler Township. This was Tuesday night. Emergency responders called to the
- 1:33woman's home around eight thirty pm. She told officials she'd stepped outside to check
- 1:38on her dog and the bear came after her, mauling her until she was
- 1:42able to get back inside of her house. Butler Township Police Sergeant Thomas Vencel
- 1:46says State Game Commission officers euthanized the mama bear after it again became aggressive when
- 1:53authorities found it with three cubs in a tree. I'm Ryan Daniels and Europe

- 3:05City and Prince George's County are testifying to their support of expanding Maryland's organized crime
- 3:10legislation. Both testified before state lawmakers in Annapolis on Tuesday. City State's attorney
- 3:15Ivan Bates says the bill would lead to tougher consequences for those who profit from
- 3:21organized criminal activity. It expands the offenses that can be prosecuted and allows victims
- 3:24to sue. This legislation makes common sense improvements to empower victims to also hold
- 3:31offenders accountable, and restore fairness to critical facets of the criminal justice system that
- 3:38had needed improvement for quite some time. Similar legislation failed during last year's session,
- 3:43but supporters believe lawmakers may be more receptive this year. Folks on Maryland's
- 3:46Lower Eastern Shore bracing for the potential of high water. John Schaeffer explains.
- 3:52Forecasters say heavy rain is possible for the region Wednesday and Wednesday night because it's
- 3:57been so wet lately. This could result in some flooding of urban and poor
- 4:00drainage areas. A so called hazardous weather outlook covers Dorchester, Wacomico, Somerset,
- 4:06and Inland Worcester counties, along with the Maryland Beaches. A laundromat's stabbings
- 4:12left a woman dead and a man wounded. It happened late Tuesday near Joint
- 4:15Basse Andrews and Prince George's County. Police didn't make any arrests. The motive
- 4:19still unknown. Anyone with information is asked to call the police. Multiple suspects
- 4:25are now charged in connection with a fatal shooting in Annorundel County. Twenty year
- 4:29old Tyres Williams was fatally shot Monday in Brooklyn Park. The five suspects were
- 4:33apprehended, two handguns were seized. Two individuals aged seventeen and eighteen or face
- 4:39murder charges. Another suspect, aged twenty, was arrested on an open warrant
- 4:43from Frederick County. Insurance can be tricky. That's why the Maryland Insurance Administration
- 4:47will host a virtual open house next week. Residents could get answers to insurance

- 6:34It's time war war. Here's your host. One hundred percent raw truth,
- 6:41one hundred percent American. Made the from one coast to another. If you
- 7:36don't recognize the voice, my name is Lee Elsie. I always appreciate being
- 7:41on here on the USA Audio Network. It's always a lot of fun from
- 7:45one coast to another way. And we'll be back on Friday, I believe.
- 7:47So I'll be doing this tonight and tomorrow night also on Lyndel TV,
- 7:51so stick around. Hopefully we'll have a good show. I got some great
- 7:55guests coming up in the next couple of hours, and of course the third
- 7:59hour as well, part just me but center. Tony Wong, a Connecticut
- 8:03Center will join me this hour, but we're not gonna talk about Conneticut stuff.
- 8:05We're going to talk about AI with him, and that's fascinating stuff.
- 8:09Steven Bucci from the Heritage Foundation will be with us, and then a young
- 8:13lady running for a con senate actually, Mitt romneyc is going to join me
- 8:20in the second hour as well on Linde l TV, along with our good
- 8:22pal Tony DiAngelo. And with Tony will get into the housing of migrants and
- 8:28how much it's going to cost each and every one of us, etcetera,
- 8:30etcetera, etcetera. So that's what we got for the first couple hours.
- 8:33Here on the USA Audio Network, and again, as always, you can
- 8:35email me le elsradio at gmail dot com, like the Facebook page, subscribe
- 8:41to my YouTube. I'm actually filming myself right now with a psychedelic background,
- 8:46so it's kind of freaky here in the studio. I wanted to talk about.
- 8:50There's so many things to talk about, obviously, a million different things.
- 8:54And the House passes a four hundred and sixty billion dollar government funding bill,
- 9:03overwhelmingly passes at three thirty nine to eighty five in the House, and
- 9:09all the Democrats are celebrating, which tells me that this is a horrible bill.
- 9:13And actually Connecticut's Congresswoman Rosa Deloro, who's like three hundred years old but
- 9:20with the purple hair, she was waxing poetic about how the Republicans were defeated
- 9:26in this because they weren't able to get the conservative ideals through. And there's
- 9:30more spending and more spending, and more spending and more spending. My question
- 9:33to all of you to America tonight, when do you think this spending will
- 9:39stop? When do you think this madness will actually end? You know,
- 9:45we can talk about politics, we can talk about war, we could talk
- 9:48about immigration, We could talk about anything and everything, but we need to
- 9:56start talking about spending. We need to start talking about debt. I feel
- 10:03like I'm that lone wolf in the wilderness, yelling and screaming. I'm in
- 10:07screaming about the national debt, even before Obama became president, even before it
- 10:13actually became a dagger in the heart of America. Thirty three trillion dollars,
- 10:20thirty three trillion debt of service every year is over a trillion dollars. And
- 10:24the folks in Washington are all smiles tonight because they passed a bill with more
- 10:31spending. When will the spending stop? And Rep. Chip Roy had an
- 10:43interesting thing to say about this, and I grabbed this because it's echoes something
- 10:50that I've I've talked about and was very very important to me for a while.
- 10:54And I'll explain after. But here's chip Roy talking about why he votes
- 11:01no on bills like this. I voted no because we don't have any money.
- 11:05I voted no because we're lying to the American people, both sides of
- 11:09the isle. But with all due respect, particularly my colleagues on the other
- 11:13side of the isle who just blame it on tax policy and then ignore spending
- 11:18like drunken sailors and on our watch. The footnote in history for my tenure
- 11:26in the House of Representatives is going to be that I destroyed the country.
- 11:30I mean, I'm proud that I've voted no for most of this garbage.
- 11:33But for this moment in time, every member of this body, your legacy,
- 11:39your tombstone, is gonna be that you destroyed the United States of America,
- 11:43the greatest country in the history of the world. That's gonna be the
- 11:48legacy of this House of Representatives, of the next House of Representatives, of
- 11:52last Congress's House of Representatives, because we utterly refuse to responsibly do our job,
- 12:00so they're in itself. Is something I talk about a lot, which
- 12:05is the responsibility of being the last generation to enjoy this kind of freedom.
- 12:16And I say this often. I say it mostly towards the folks out there
- 12:20who are part of the electorate, not necessarily the politicians. I always feel
- 12:24like the politicians don't give a damn if you know they are the black mark
- 12:28on history. I give a damn if my generation is the black mark on
- 12:33history. I don't want to be part of something that five hundred years from
- 12:39now three hundred years from now, one hundred years from now, they look
- 12:43back at history and point to this time in the history of this country and
- 12:50say, those are the people that we're so self absorbed, so greedy,
- 12:56such narcissists that they toppled the greatest country that this planet has ever known.
- 13:05I don't want to be part of that. But we're heading like a bullet
- 13:09train speeding out of site. Man to that inevitability. You can't continue to
- 13:18spend like this. You cannot continue to do this. We don't have the
- 13:22resources. We don't have the resources to bring in tens and tens of thousands
- 13:31of illegal immigrants every day, millions over the course of three years. We
- 13:35don't have the mechanism to house them, to feed them. There was an
- 13:43amazing audio clip that I cut, but I don't have it right here at
- 13:48my fingertips, But it was just a citizen in Colorado, Colorado took in
- 13:54forty thousand illegal immigrants, I think in the last calendar year, and she
- 13:58basically spelled out, on the very cheapest side, what it would cost to
- 14:03house and feed these forty thousand people. Somebody's got to do it, and
- 14:09just that alone crippled their their budget for everything else, just dealing with these
- 14:16folks who are coming across our border every day. So that in itself is
- 14:24crippling. But the fact that nobody wants to be a responsible adult, nobody
- 14:28wants to say, hey, wait a second, we have to stop,
- 14:31because it's it's the treasure that we spend. It's the goodies that we give
- 14:37the American people. We it's the goodies that the politicians promise the American people
- 14:41that make them go into the voting booth and vote for them. Right,
- 14:45Nobody wants to vote for somebody who says to you, well, you're're not
- 14:48getting that. I know, we're not going to give you that. No,
- 14:50that program's got to go. No, we've got to cut that.
- 14:54No, we've got to slice and dice that. No, we've got to
- 14:56manage this. No we can't build that. Nobody wants to vote for that
- 15:01person. Somebody wants to vote for the person. Oh no, I'll get
- 15:05you that new wing of the new gymnasium, of the new athletic field,
- 15:09or this new or sure that new program. It doesn't matter what a cost
- 15:11will get. It's for the good of humanity. But in the end,
- 15:18you can't sustain it, but people will vote for that person who makes the
- 15:22promises because well, it's in their self interest. And you know, over
- 15:28the course of this country, the dynamic I think of, you know,
- 15:33how people react and treat each other has changed significantly, and how people actually
- 15:37view themselves has changed significantly. And I think a lot of that, and
- 15:41we have this discussion often on my morning show. Is an absence of you
- 15:46don't call a god or a higher power. See, people now think that
- 15:48they are the center of the universe. Everything revolves around them instead of the
- 15:54collective or the greater good of everyone, or in the cases I think of
- 15:58generations past, the country for the very least. I mean, you know,
- 16:03God and country. We don't think like that anymore. We think about,
- 16:07you know, what what can I do to satisfy whatever thirst I have
- 16:11today? And the hell with every now? Everything else be damned. And
- 16:17you know, I don't have any kids, and I think I'm going to
- 16:19survive until you know, my my heart takes its last beat, and hopefully
- 16:25it's a long, long day, you know, a long long way down
- 16:26the road. I don't think the imminent demise of America is right around the
- 16:30corner. I do think if we continue on this trajectory, it's it's imminent.
- 16:34It's not imminent. It's it's an absolution an absolute problem. It's an
- 16:41equation. It's an absolute equation that's going to happen to us. I was
- 16:45searching for the right word. I'm not sure if I found it. But
- 16:48my point is I don't necessarily think tomorrow is the last day of America.
- 16:52But I do think your kids, and certainly your kids kids will grow up
- 16:56in an absolutely different, different society. But I don't want to be looked
- 17:00at back to the original thought as the group that was the initiator in the
- 17:07crumbling of America. And I guess maybe I am wrong. Maybe I could
- 17:10be part of this devastation. Maybe it does topple, Maybe you know,
- 17:15the stock market does crash, maybe the end takes over the dollar within the
- 17:18next ten years, and maybe, yes, maybe, just maybe I am
- 17:21part and you're part, and we're all part of the demise of the United
- 17:26States of America. Maybe it's possible. All right, listen, we'll take
- 17:29a short break once again. Welcome to the USA Audio Network. We'll be
- 17:32joined by Lindell TV. At the top of the hour. Wayne is off

- 25:02You know, I was perusing through some audio clips as I do almost every
- 25:07single day, and I ran into one I thought was rather interesting. Allow
- 25:11me to share it with you with our pal Gavin Newsome praising Nikki Haley sitting
- 25:18in with the one and only Jake Tapper on that mega power known as the
- 25:22End. Do you think that Haley or Trump would be easier to beat Hill?
- 25:27First of all, I think she's one of our better surrogates, so
- 25:30she stays in. I hope she does well tomorrow. Says about Trump.
- 25:33She's spot on on ninety nine percent of it. So I'm enjoying. I'm
- 25:37enjoying this primary, and I hope it continue. But look, Trump's the
- 25:41nominee. We all know that. You know that. Everybody out there knows
- 25:44that, and I think the polls are suggestive She's going to get well up
- 25:47tomorrow and then she'll make a case I guess just to continue in this.
- 25:51But again, I have no problem for as long as she wishes, because
- 25:55I think she's making a good case against Trump. I had the head poles
- 25:57suggest that she would clean Biden's clock, and it's a tougher race. Trum,
- 26:03Trump's the nominee. Everybody knows Trump's nominee with respect. There's no evidence
- 26:07to suggest, there's no polling to suggest there's nothing to suggest momentum otherwise that
- 26:12she can win any state in the Republican primary coming up. So it's just
- 26:18not Donald Trump is the nominee. No, I don't mean that to be
- 26:22dismissive. I have respect for the former governor a lot more than the former
- 26:26president Donald Trump. But as I said, I wish her luck in the
- 26:30context of being out there and making the case that we're making against Donald Trump
- 26:33equally. But the most important sentence that the governor of California says that NICKI
- 26:40Haley is their best surrogate, working, if you will, for and with
- 26:45the Democrat Party to topple Donald J. Trump. So interesting piece of audio,
- 26:52and I thought was something you should hear. I don't know if you'd
- 26:56heard that, but I figured i'd play that for you, sort of a
- 26:59maybe roddy and slip up sorts. And then he caught himself. He's so
- 27:03slick, you know. It's funny. If California wasn't such a dumpster fire,
- 27:08and if he hadn't run that state straight into the crapper, he would
- 27:14be dangerous, and he is still dangerous. Got the good looks, stresses,
- 27:18fancy, looks, sharp as attack and he's well spoken, very articulate,
- 27:23all of it. But man, he has just absolutely dismantled California from
- 27:32every single metric you can measure, whatever it is, whether it's you know,
- 27:37cost of living, value, taxes, whatever it is. However you
- 27:41want to measure success in a state, California is bottoming out and he's in
- 27:48charge, so he's responsible. But Gavin Knwsom looks like a politician. He
- 27:56looks like what somebody might think a president would look like. He's got all,
- 28:00as we would like to say, bells and whistles of being in that
- 28:04position. And the problem is he's a terrible leader and even worse state administrator.
- 28:11So there you have it, all right, So that's where we go.
- 28:15As far as Gavin Newsom and Nicki Haley, are they tied at the
- 28:18hip? Are they buddies? Are they pals? Is Nicki Haley in the
- 28:22pocket of Democrats? I tell you who really thinks? And so, without
- 28:26question, is the vek Ramaswami who has been hammering Nicki Haley from the beginning
- 28:30of this entire political campaign charade that she is on. All right, we've

- 36:20When I filled in for Mike Gallagher on the National Show a few months
- 36:22ago, and he's always spectacular. Hear him and see him every once in
- 36:27a while on CNN he pops up. His name is Jamille Jaffer, and
- 36:31he's the founder and executive director of the National Security Institute, and we really
- 36:37appreciate him carving out some time for us today. And I wanted to throw
- 36:39a couple things at you. You're sort of on cutting edge and a lot
- 36:42of this stuff, and I wanted to start with immigration. I don't know
- 36:45how frustrated you are. I'm in screaming about this for the better part of
- 36:47three years, the flood coming across the southern border, and now this one
- 36:52eighty flip from the Democrats as far as they want to get something done.
- 36:55I just wanted to get your thirty thousand foot view take of that. Yeah,
- 36:58I mean, look, obviously, the border is a huge issue.
- 37:01Our problems with the border are massive We've got this group of immigrants coming up
- 37:07from Central and South America. They're coming to this country seeking asylum or claiming
- 37:10to speak asylum. They're not being held back at the border that are being
- 37:14led into this country, and it's a real problem. I mean, we
- 37:15cannot survive with the flow of fentanyl and the flow of migrants across the border.
- 37:22Look, we're a country built on immigration. It's important that we have
- 37:24good legal immigration, but we also can't allow illegal immigration to overwhelm the country.
- 37:30And so to ensure that we pretend against that, we've got to have
- 37:32border security, which means we've got to prevent these There are terrorists that are
- 37:37coming across the border, especially to st aliums as well, and so it's
- 37:39important that we secure that border, and then we figure out what's the right
- 37:43immigration policy. How many legal immigrants do we want to have, how do
- 37:45we need to make our agriculture economy worth to make the rest of our economy
- 37:50worth and then get that right. And the truth is we're not quite there
- 37:52yet. So we've got to figure out that right full of immigration. But
- 37:55the first step is stopping the current flow at the border. So you know,
- 37:58there are some estimate accounts that we could be over ten million since twenty
- 38:01twenty. Would you say that's accurate or too high? Too low? Where
- 38:06are you on that? You know, the numbers have been so all over
- 38:07the map, it's hard to get a real good sense of what the exact
- 38:10right number is. But what I will say this is there's no question that
- 38:15the flow of illegal immigration's country is much too high and it's not sustainable,
- 38:19and so we've got to stem that flow. And look, this has become
- 38:22a national security issue because it's not just migrants, it's also terrorists and criminals
- 38:27come across that border. And the flow of fentandel across that border is literally
- 38:30killing tens of thousands of Americans. That's a huge problem. That's all coming
- 38:35from China. So does the president actually have the authority? I know he
- 38:37rescinded a lot of Trump's orders basically first day, he sort of rewrote some
- 38:43of those and did his own executive orders. But does he have the power
- 38:46with his pen and his phone to stop this without any additional legislation. Look,
- 38:52I think there's a lot the president could do that's not being done.
- 38:53We can go back to the remain in Mexico policy. There's a lot more
- 38:57we can do. We can transfer some amount of funds. There's a limited
- 39:00thority the president has to do that, transfer some amount of funds to border
- 39:02security. At the end of the day, he will need at least money
- 39:07from Congress. I don't Nelessari know he needs authority, but he's money from
- 39:10Congress to put more, more, more border patrol agents on that border and
- 39:15stop the flow. But there is a lot more that this White House could
- 39:17be doing that it undid from the prior administration. It could be doing to
- 39:22stem the flow. Yeah, Trump brought one on this, I think partially
- 39:24in twenty sixteen, But is this a real legit talking point for him in
- 39:30twenty twenty four Look, I think it is. I think the reality is
- 39:34that the Biden administration has not an affective job stemming the flow at the border.
- 39:37And as a result, President Trump has gotten good is going to and
- 39:42has already gotten a lot of miles out of it. And what you'll see
- 39:44is you already saw it just yesterday, both for both the president, the
- 39:47current president and the former president going to the border, making statements and calling
- 39:52on one another to do something about it. Right, Well, President Eden,
- 39:55though, has the authority to actually do something which he's not doing,
- 39:59and that end of the day is going to be what I think President Trump
- 40:01or President Trump is going to hang around his neck. Over the next few
- 40:05weeks and months, we head towards the presidential election in November, assuming,
- 40:08by the way, that both these you know, eighty seventy year old,
- 40:12late seventies year old men are in fact our candidates going forward in November.
- 40:15As it looks like it's going to be, well, let's get to that,
- 40:16because I think that's important. I think more people think that Biden his
- 40:22health will make him stumble. On the other side of the coin, people
- 40:24are saying, well, I mean, how many indictments and convictions can Trump
- 40:29withstand and still be presidents? Let's start with with Biden. I feel like
- 40:32I watch him and it's a real rapid decline. You really think he's going
- 40:37to get there? And if not, is it Michelle Obama waiting in the
- 40:39wings? I mean, look, it is painful to watch the president,
- 40:43you know. Look, I mean, look, I'm an American. I
- 40:45want our president to be successful. I wanted to be out there representing the
- 40:46world, representing Americans, the world and be strong, right, And it's
- 40:51just a challenge because Joe Biden is just he's clearly in failing health. Is
- 40:55an own administration can see that. They saw that when they put him out
- 40:59there to talk about the Special Counsel's report and he was just struggling. You
- 41:05know, this has been going on for a while, and I think the
- 41:07American voters are seeing that, as the American publicans seeing that. I think
- 41:10that is really helping Donald Trump because even though Donald Trump is only about three
- 41:14years younger than Joe Biden, he clearly has a lot more vim and vigor
- 41:19when he's out there speaking, you know, for good head daddy. I'm
- 41:21not a fan of Biden, but when I watch him, I'm cringed,
- 41:24cringe worthy because I don't want him to fall apart and fall the pieces,
- 41:30because that's not good for anybody. And I'm actually a little bit nervous about
- 41:32the State of the Union coming up. I can't imagine he can talk for
- 41:36an hour. I'm with you, I mean, you know it's in the
- 41:38evening. I mean, this is gonna be a real challenge. We'll see
- 41:40how he does, right. But you know your question about Michelle Obama,
- 41:45I do think there's something going on here. You know, I think a
- 41:47lot of a lot of Conservnas have been saying this. You've seen a lot
- 41:50of reports in various newspapers about this, but you just look at it.
- 41:52I mean, you've got David Axelrod, one of the chief strategists for Barack
- 41:57Obama, out there talking about how why is Joe Biden running for president?
- 42:01This is weeks ago. Then all of a sudden, Michelle Obama's on TV
- 42:05with her hair all done up, looking good, saying I'm word about the
- 42:07state of the country. And now just this past week you've got you've got
- 42:10four former White House staffers from the Obama administries saying, you know, Joe
- 42:15Biden does Ata's ready for prime time? That feels like it's shive in the
- 42:19back. And look, these super delgates and Democratic conventions, unlike the Republican
- 42:22Party, can't actually make it happen at the convention. So you know,
- 42:25you might be seeing a real effort by the Democratic Party base to take Joe
- 42:30Biden out. And the crazy thing is they've got Kamala Harris, but they
- 42:34don't like her anymore than we like her, maybe even less, And so
- 42:37they're trying to put somebody else up. And you know, for them,
- 42:39their view is if it's gonna be knocking Michelle, it's not gonna be Kamala
- 42:43Harris. It's got to be somebody like a Michelle Obama or an Oprah Winfrey
- 42:46and over win three ain't running for president. So and it can't be Gavin
- 42:49Newsom because you can't use served Kamala, right, you got you have to.
- 42:52You couldn't do that, right that guy, and that guy has run
- 42:55California into the ground. I mean, I don't I don't understand how anybody's
- 42:58even talking about Gavin Newsom as potential presidential candidate. Literally, my home state
- 43:01of California is in the tank because of his leadership. There is no chance
- 43:07that actually can give you a serious contender for president, even though he is
- 43:09a very good looking man. And I think that's what he's got going for
- 43:12him, to be honest with you, that's about it. And let me
- 43:14ask you about the Trump side of it. Though all of these legal charges
- 43:16are beginning to mount, I mean, I think there are some big things
- 43:20that are going to be happening in May. For sure, does he make
- 43:23it to the finish line with all of this. I mean, look,
- 43:25I'll be candid with you. I think Donald Trump is going to face a
- 43:29lot of serious issues in these cases, right, particularly the classified documents case
- 43:32is gonna be a real challenge for him because it's going to be hard burning
- 43:36amount a successful defense. There. Now that being said, I will say
- 43:39that I think Donald Trump being even being convicted, you know, being on
- 43:44trial for one but being convicted of a crime, I think he actually benefits
- 43:47him with his voting base, and I think it actually, you know,
- 43:51ends up working in his favors. So I think he's perpectly happy to go
- 43:54forward and see how this thing plays out. I think he's actually gaining votes
- 43:59because of all what's going on, and so I don't think this is a
- 44:00negative for him. It may be that negative for the nation having a president
- 44:04who might be indicted, might be convicted, might even be in jail on
- 44:07the day he's elected, and it will only cause chaos if and when that
- 44:12happens. But look, at the end of the day, I think this
- 44:15actually is benefiting Donald Troup rather than hurting him. But you know, again,
- 44:19you got to ask yourself, you know, as a party right for
- 44:22conservatives or even as a nation. Do we want a man who brings that
- 44:25much chaos into play? I mean, we've got an eighty year old failing
- 44:30health president, another man who obviously has got a lot of challenges and brings
- 44:32chaos to the White House. Some people like, we'll talk about wanting chaos,
- 44:36but is that really what we want? Is a nation? Is that
- 44:38going to make successful? That's why I find hard to understand. Legally,
- 44:43can he serve if he is behind barsway he just they open the doors when
- 44:46he becomes president and he walks out. How does that work? You know,
- 44:50it's unprecedented. It never happened before, so we don't know. You
- 44:53know, back in the day, Eugene Devs, a socialist, ran for
- 44:57the presidency from a jail cell and said that he would take office. He
- 45:00was elected. He didn't even get close to anywhere near the number of votes
- 45:04he needed to get elected, but he did run from jail, and you
- 45:07know, so we'll see what happens again. I don't I don't think that's
- 45:10a likely scenario. But if it does come to pass, you know,
- 45:14I mean, you got to wonder yourself, is this the best we can
- 45:16do with a nation? You know, even if you are, even if
- 45:19you believe he's in jail on prumpt up charges on things that's never been brought.
- 45:22Whatever, is this The best we can do is the country an eighty
- 45:25year old man with failing health and a man who might be beyond bars on
- 45:29the day he's elected. It just seems crazy to me. Let me just
- 45:31say this. Can you imagine how much different we might feel about about the
- 45:36world, about the healthy United States if, in fact, you had a
- 45:39Michelle Obama Versusniky Alien race versus the Joe Biden versus Donald Trump race. It
- 45:44just feels a lot different for our country and for the world. Do you
- 45:47believe the entirety of the judicial system was weaponized against Trump? Look, I
- 45:53think I think some of these cases are hard to explain how haven't been brought.
- 45:57But that being said, the classified documents came. It doesn't seem like
- 46:00a hard case. Frankly, seems like an obvious thing. You just can't
- 46:02take a whole stack in class high keep you know, top secret compartment information
- 46:07out of a whiteout, bring it down and say well, I declass time
- 46:09in my head, I mean, come on, and nobody's buying that story.
- 46:13And so that's the biggest problem for him. The rest of it.
- 46:15You know, some of these other cases. Look the January sixth case to
- 46:19perform us. What you think about what happened on January sixth. It's they're
- 46:21good in charge of with the insurrection. They shouldn't just charge an insurrection.
- 46:23This whole conspiracy to whatever. It's really complicated. It's making their lives hard,
- 46:29it's making his life hard. It doesn't make a lot of sense if
- 46:31they thought they had the good they s brought that case. The founder and

- 52:06We are talking with Jamil Jaffers. You hear them and see them just about
- 52:08everywhere, including CNN, and we're talking about all kinds of different issues.
- 52:13And I want to switch gears. Talk Ukraine, talk Russia, a lot
- 52:15of different information. What's the latest Ukraine in Russia? Yeah, look,
- 52:20I mean I think that Russia has made some games at the state. By
- 52:22the same token, you know, the Ukrainians have made minor games as well,
- 52:27and so you've essentially what you've got is a frozen conflict, right,
- 52:30nobody's making massive gains one way or the other. There is a question whether
- 52:36the Ukrainians can sustain this fight without significant US support. That obviously is is
- 52:40held up in Congress over the over the debates between Ukraine AID Israel AID and
- 52:46this question about the border security and so so this is still the fight is
- 52:52still going on. But I do worry that if they don't get our weapons
- 52:55and they don't get resupplied, they are going to start losing a lot more
- 52:59along faster Russia will gain that territory, and then we'll be in a world
- 53:02to hurt because Russia is not going to stop at the Ukrainian border. We've
- 53:06already heard Poland say that they're ready to fight. They're already doing more than
- 53:09their part in NATO. They're doing four percent of their budget versus a two
- 53:13percent required. Right, They're willing to go to eight percent if they need
- 53:15you to fight Russia, but they are not gonna able to do it on
- 53:17their own. And I mean, you know, can you imagine a world
- 53:22in which Russian actually succeeds to take Ukraine and then starts to go further That
- 53:24is not a rule we want to live in. We've got it. We've
- 53:28got to win this fight. Ukraine's got to win this fight, and we
- 53:30got to give them everything it takes to win that fight. The problem is
- 53:34the Bide administration for two years has been leaking a weapon slowly, so we're
- 53:37just spending a ton of money and not really winning the war. We need
- 53:40a strategy to win this war. We should not give it up. We
- 53:43should put the money in, but we need if we need to double down,
- 53:45double down and let's Ukrainans win. So you honestly believe that Ukraine is
- 53:49step one in a process across Europe. I have no doubt in my look.
- 53:53They didn't stop at Crimea. When Barack Obama the take Crimea back in
- 53:58twenty fourteen, Everyone's like, well that's gone. It is what it is.
- 54:00And then they went in and probably take Kiev right and we were able
- 54:05to push them back with our weaponry and they're brave fighting, and now we're
- 54:08in a question whether they're gonna be able to sustain that. And the reality
- 54:12is that turns on us dollars, it turns on us weapons. By the
- 54:15way, I want to note this lee, which is to say, you
- 54:16know, everyone thinks this money is being spent in Ukraine. It is not
- 54:20the vast majority of our America's money that's going to this fight, as being
- 54:22spent here in the United States to buy American weapons. They buy American workers
- 54:27and then shoot them over to CCV Ukrainian so to be sure they're getting the
- 54:30benefit of that money. But it's being spent on American jobs and American defense
- 54:34units here in the United States. Putin threw out a threat of nuclear war
- 54:37the other day. Any thoughts on that, look, Lader Putin has been
- 54:40waving around the nuclear threat since the beginning of this conflict, and it's partly
- 54:45what's got the Biden administration on the run. They're very afraid that he might
- 54:47be tempted to do it, and we should all be worried about that.
- 54:51Right. This is a country with a tremendous number of nuclear weapons, but
- 54:53there's a reason why they've never used them. It's because we have a tremendous
- 54:57around of nuclear weapons and they don't want to start that fi It doesn't end
- 55:00well for anybody. It may even end and civilization as we know it.
- 55:04He's is not going to go down that road. Unless he sees an existential
- 55:07threat, we don't need to go down that road and make it extential for
- 55:09him. All we need to do is push him out of Ukraine where he
- 55:14is and push him back to his border. If we're able to do that
- 55:16and enable that Ukrainians to do that without putting troops on the ground, we
- 55:20should do that. The reality is we just have not put the weaponry in
- 55:22the fight. We've barely got M one Abrams tanks in the fight, barely
- 55:25got at sixteen's in the fight. We need to cripple down on that.
- 55:28That will cost money, to be sure, but that is money better spent
- 55:31than the Russians succeeding at this war and ultimately costing this Look, we've seen
- 55:36the story before World War One. We're hesitant to get in World War Two,
- 55:39we're hausbitan to get in, and each time that happened it costs US
- 55:43more troops, more money, more American blood pressure. Instead of doing it
- 55:46ahead of time and getting now has to fight the fight and putting our money
- 55:50in weaponry behind them. Russia Ukraine is not the only war. We've got
- 55:53a war happening on fronts and Gaza. I'm of the mindset that need to
- 55:58annihilate and get rid of Hamas. Are you in the Gaza Israel conflict?
- 56:02Look, there is not going to be a ceasefire until Hamas is destroyed.
- 56:07And that's perfectly legitimate for these really to expect that after they suffered the equivalent
- 56:10of a dozen nine to eleven attacks on a population adjusted basis on that day
- 56:15in October seventh. So they're they're well within their rights to take out Hamas.
- 56:19They're not going to stop fighting. There will not be a ceasefire.
- 56:22So anybody in America's things that's going to happen is living a mythical dream.
- 56:24The reality is that the only way this thing gets won is for the hostage
- 56:30to be traded back and ultimately a deal to be done where Hamask gives up
- 56:34its control over Gaza. That's the only thing that is really will accept.
- 56:36And that's a completely reasonable given what happened in the October seventh the US would
- 56:39start talking about that the bid administration you're talking about that is to talk about
- 56:43a ceasefire, that's chime, Eric, what's Gaza look like when this is
- 56:46all done? In your mind? Look, I mean, Gaza is has
- 56:51long been a very difficult situation. You got two milli impacked in a very
- 56:54tight space. Right, they're economically disenfranchised, They're having real challenges. Right.
- 57:00Israel's got to realize that at Gaza, that's that's not productive. It's
- 57:04not going to be successful sitting on its border, no matter how many,
- 57:07no matter how deep a zone, you create a dead a clear zone between
- 57:12Israel's border and Gaza. Until you can figure out a way to get the
- 57:15power, the West Bank and Gaza working together effectively, get them actually creating
- 57:20economic success, They're not going to succeed. That's going to require the Arab
- 57:23States to do their part. It's going to require Israel to create that separation
- 57:28and ultimately figure out how to get Gaza into the right place. It's just
- 57:30leaving in the hands of Hamas for the last ten years, fifteen years has
- 57:35not been a successful strategy. We've got to figure something better out. Jamail
- 57:37Jeffer, founder and executive director of the National Security Institute, And we you
- 57:43love when we get a chance to sit out and shot with him with Bed.
- 57:45I got one more, one more topic. What is China waiting on
- 57:49to move on Taiwan? Look, I think The lesson that China has taken
- 57:52away from the Russian War in Ukraine is if you're going to go in,
- 57:57go in full force and the off before anybody has a chance to get their
- 58:01four weaponss of the fight, or bring their own weapon, or bring their
- 58:05own groups to bear. So, look, the US has a lot of
- 58:07assets in the region, but not nearly enough in Taiwan, in the China
- 58:12region, in the in the South China Sea, in that area, We've
- 58:15got enough there to start a fight and not win a fight. And China
- 58:17knows that, and so they go in and end and end that battle for
- 58:22Taiwan in a week or two, knowing's ought to fight or resistance in the
- 58:24mountain, right, but in the primary battle, they know the US won't
- 58:28show up because we just can't get there in time. Jamil, I got
- 58:30to jump in. We're out of time. I thank you very much.
- 58:32I know you're slammed busy. You can see Jamil Jaffers just about everywhere.
- 58:37Sure break, we'll come back. We're on lin Dell TV. Next stick
- 58:39around. You're listening to the USA Audio Network
