- 1:18Speaker 6: Pretty grassy, your mad dog, your sex son of the
- 1:21Speaker 6: bee and not a beautiful day in Paradise. Man, she's steamy,
- 1:25Speaker 6: she is steamy. You would have known and here the
- 1:28Speaker 6: conditioner has turned up to maximum effect.
- 1:30Speaker 4: And I'm loving it.
- 1:32Speaker 6: Man, insider out, It's a bloody treat as we count
- 1:35Speaker 6: down the final days to the end of the year.
- 1:37Speaker 2: Fels Yeah, that's true. Makes our keezy looking very smart,
- 1:42Speaker 2: very dapper. I call it chic, casual. Corporate.
- 1:47Speaker 3: She You've gotta stop adding corporate into every time you
- 1:50Speaker 3: describe my look. Nothing I own screams corporate, and in fact,
- 1:54Speaker 3: if anything does, I need to get rid of it.
- 1:56Speaker 4: Wow, I'm not corporate.
- 1:57Speaker 6: And sort of says I like fashion, but not as
- 2:01Speaker 6: much as I like playing by the rules.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Ah right, yeah, really that's not the look I'm going for.
- 2:08Speaker 3: I'm good Foreler's spit the entire day at the beach.
- 2:10Speaker 3: It's been great. Got a lot of D vitamin d
- 2:12Speaker 3: yeh yeah, and just really fizzed up for a big summer. Jace, Yes,
- 2:18Speaker 3: you look good, Thank you man. Today's bird shirt a
- 2:21Speaker 3: hero and shirt? Is it a heron or a stalk
- 2:24Speaker 3: or something?
- 2:25Speaker 4: What's the difference?
- 2:26Speaker 6: Really at the end of the day, James, I saw
- 2:28Speaker 6: something earlier on today, Old Pugson. There he was editing
- 2:31Speaker 6: a social clip and it showed you in about February
- 2:35Speaker 6: of this year. Yes, and you were in a T
- 2:37Speaker 6: shirt and can I just say it takes years off you?
- 2:41Speaker 6: T shirt takes years off you. I have to show
- 2:43Speaker 6: you some footage of it.
- 2:44Speaker 2: I bloated up a bit since then, so they tend
- 2:47Speaker 2: to sort of, you know, they grip around the buzzies.
- 2:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:51Speaker 2: But speaking of D, I got filled with.
- 2:53Speaker 4: It today, Vitamin D. You mean yes, you mean covered
- 2:57Speaker 4: with it. What's happening on the Big Show with Old mogis.
- 3:04Speaker 6: That's right, fellas another opportunity to get into the drawer
- 3:08Speaker 6: to head over to Los Angeles to see Green Day
- 3:11Speaker 6: and the old Ego iHeartRadio Cuemonger's competition. You'll have an
- 3:16Speaker 6: opportunity to call us to get into the drawer. Later
- 3:19Speaker 6: on the show, we'll probably have more than one opportunity
- 3:21Speaker 6: to be completely honest with you. We'll also be talking
- 3:23Speaker 6: to David Nika, who's got to fight. Another fight coming
- 3:26Speaker 6: up in fact is third for the year. Later in December,
- 3:29Speaker 6: around about the third eighth of memory serves me correctly,
- 3:31Speaker 6: So stick around for that and up next we'll be
- 3:34Speaker 6: talking about how you can slip it into neutral heading
- 3:36Speaker 6: into the holidays.
- 3:41Speaker 4: But Eliza pick us up let's go.
- 3:44Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodarky.
- 3:48Speaker 2: Indeed, the funky beats of Kings of Leon there on
- 3:53Speaker 2: the Radio Hodarchy Big Show. I'm just saying, you know,
- 3:57Speaker 2: funky beats, not funky A fat basin was pretty fair.
- 4:00Speaker 6: But I saw you there, Jo, because people didn't know this,
- 4:02Speaker 6: but Joe sitsy with his eyes closed and his headphones on,
- 4:05Speaker 6: pretending he's in the band.
- 4:06Speaker 4: Yeah, and I saw that you were playing the bass.
- 4:09Speaker 4: I was doing bass. I was slapping the base. He
- 4:10Speaker 4: was slapping that basse.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Hey know us and feelers. We're careering into Christmas. Now
- 4:16Speaker 2: we're on the downward slope. And I was talking to
- 4:19Speaker 2: one of the guys that's doing some building work around
- 4:21Speaker 2: no Place, the other name. I'm going to tell you
- 4:24Speaker 2: his name. I do know his name, but he might
- 4:28Speaker 2: not want to be named from now on. And what
- 4:31Speaker 2: he's saying, he's just doing in his spare time, a
- 4:34Speaker 2: bit of work around Hoodie Jay's place, Bob. But anyway,
- 4:37Speaker 2: he was saying, it's funny on the side. At the moment,
- 4:40Speaker 2: he's the foreman. He's like, we are we are definitely
- 4:44Speaker 2: winding it down, Jason, I tell you, and I was thinking, well,
- 4:47Speaker 2: that's what people do at this time of year. It's
- 4:50Speaker 2: what do you need to do to just wind down,
- 4:51Speaker 2: make it look as though you're working as per normal,
- 4:55Speaker 2: but actually you're just a neutral.
- 4:58Speaker 6: Certainly it happens around here, it doesn't really And MD
- 5:00Speaker 6: of me radio Herdeki. I mean most of the time
- 5:02Speaker 6: you come in here a lot of the time and
- 5:04Speaker 6: there's nobody here because it's down at the pub.
- 5:06Speaker 4: Now, they're always down at the pub.
- 5:08Speaker 2: Yeah, well why wouldn't you be You look at that
- 5:09Speaker 2: weather out there?
- 5:10Speaker 4: Absolutely right, Like we've coming today.
- 5:12Speaker 6: We're meant to have a meeting with our boss, as
- 5:15Speaker 6: we do sort of every tuesday.
- 5:17Speaker 4: Wee get in here.
- 5:19Speaker 6: Twenty minutes later, he sends us a message, sorry, fellas,
- 5:21Speaker 6: I'm in a meeting. It's gone over and by an
- 5:24Speaker 6: immediately means I'm on the pers down at the pub
- 5:26Speaker 6: and I'm going to keep on getting on the purse down.
- 5:28Speaker 4: At the pub. Geew what there was right at? You
- 5:31Speaker 4: got to read between the lines.
- 5:32Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I suppose we're asking on three four eight three.
- 5:36Speaker 3: You know, how do you shift things into neutral in
- 5:38Speaker 3: your workplace? Yes, every text through in the drawer for
- 5:40Speaker 3: a fifty dollar Reburg avoucher. I mean, there are signs
- 5:43Speaker 3: that this show, for example, might switch into neutral.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Do you see? This is the weird thing. I just
- 5:49Speaker 2: can't right, Like, I am so committed to quality content
- 5:55Speaker 2: and it's just against my nature. And you know, we've
- 5:57Speaker 2: got a massive audience out there. Little must be amazing.
- 6:02Speaker 4: Yeah, so you prefer to go at sort of like
- 6:05Speaker 4: undred percent of the time pretty much?
- 6:07Speaker 3: Yeah, Well, I just would have thought that, you know,
- 6:09Speaker 3: because you brought this topic to the table. I almost
- 6:11Speaker 3: thought that discussing shifting into neutral is our way of
- 6:14Speaker 3: shifting into neutral. You know, that's just sort of something
- 6:17Speaker 3: you'd talk about if you had nothing better to talk about.
- 6:19Speaker 6: Well, I mean it's interesting, is that, because we've got
- 6:22Speaker 6: about a week and a half left before or off here,
- 6:25Speaker 6: so we've got some big topics that we've got to
- 6:28Speaker 6: get through before the end of the year because we've
- 6:30Speaker 6: got so much and our sort of our WhatsApp chat
- 6:33Speaker 6: that we share around the joint. So for me personally,
- 6:36Speaker 6: I wouldn't be comfortable with sort of whining things down
- 6:38Speaker 6: too much.
- 6:39Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, Well, like talking to Bob, the foreman who's
- 6:42Speaker 2: doing work around my place, he was saying, for example,
- 6:46Speaker 2: for them, the old smoko is beginning to extend out
- 6:50Speaker 2: quite a way, and there's very little work between morning
- 6:53Speaker 2: SMOKEO and lunchtime smoko.
- 6:55Speaker 6: Yeah, and a lot more time spending the on site bogs. Yes, yeah,
- 7:00Speaker 6: a lot of the time, people hanging off their phones.
- 7:02Speaker 4: Someone saying, here, I start taking five p's a day.
- 7:06Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a trick.
- 7:07Speaker 4: That's one of the tricks, man.
- 7:08Speaker 2: One of the things that I you know, I'm not
- 7:10Speaker 2: happy about with that arrangement. I mean, if I'm going
- 7:12Speaker 2: to be a slack ass, I don't really want to
- 7:14Speaker 2: be doing it sitting in a bog. So you've got
- 7:17Speaker 2: to look like you're sort of out and about and
- 7:19Speaker 2: doing stuff, but at an actual fact, you're not. You
- 7:22Speaker 2: just enjoying the sunshine, having a vape.
- 7:24Speaker 4: That's right.
- 7:25Speaker 3: Three four eight three. What do you do at your
- 7:27Speaker 3: workplace to shift things into neutral? Just a bit of
- 7:29Speaker 3: a PSA public service announcement or the audience out there.
- 7:32Speaker 3: Radio stations when they shift things into neutral, they'll quite
- 7:35Speaker 3: often lean into like really long songs and yeah yeah, yeah,
- 7:38Speaker 3: bonus stuff.
- 7:41Speaker 2: Just to sort of draw out the time.
- 7:42Speaker 3: You mean, kezy yeah, Like where midyear they might play
- 7:46Speaker 3: a shorter song.
- 7:47Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, this time of the year, they might start
- 7:50Speaker 4: not a really long one.
- 7:50Speaker 2: That is unacceptable to me, you know what I not
- 7:54Speaker 2: on my bloody watch Kezy Guns and Roses November Rain How.
- 8:03Speaker 1: The Hold Acting Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio Hold.
- 8:08Speaker 2: At Gums Roses. There on the radio hold Akee Big
- 8:15Speaker 2: Show this Tuesday afternoon. We're talking about shifting into neutral
- 8:20Speaker 2: as a head into Christmas Fellers.
- 8:21Speaker 3: Yes, something that we won't be doing on this show.
- 8:25Speaker 3: A lot of texts coming through on three four eighty
- 8:26Speaker 3: three advice as to what you can do. Walk slower,
- 8:30Speaker 3: do everything slower, just slightly, and make lists of things
- 8:33Speaker 3: to do.
- 8:34Speaker 4: So that's quite good.
- 8:35Speaker 6: But that's in a complete contrast to this other text
- 8:37Speaker 6: to your keysy walk really fast around the office with
- 8:40Speaker 6: a stress look on your face. Well, that implies you're
- 8:42Speaker 6: flat out being productive at a notebook with lots of
- 8:44Speaker 6: pill pages under your arm and your set both of
- 8:47Speaker 6: them work.
- 8:47Speaker 3: That's the George Costanza move. Just look furious and worried
- 8:50Speaker 3: about really fast everywhere. Yeah, it's a good idea. Few
- 8:55Speaker 3: jobs that don't go into neutral at this time of year,
- 8:57Speaker 3: for example, when you're someone sticks through get a fellows
- 8:59Speaker 3: on a grease monkey. Definitely not shifting into neutral, as
- 9:01Speaker 3: everyone's worked out. The cars need to be serviced.
- 9:04Speaker 4: That's right. I'm not too dissimilar to the one.
- 9:06Speaker 6: I'm a courier, and we never go into neutral, especially
- 9:08Speaker 6: this time of Year's top gear overdrive all the way.
- 9:10Speaker 6: And that's from Jeff and South, a couple of backbone babones.
- 9:15Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, but getting a clipboard out. Somebody gets a
- 9:19Speaker 3: clipboard out, that's how they shift into neutral.
- 9:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:22Speaker 6: Somebody said earlier that they take five steamers a day,
- 9:25Speaker 6: which is for me about par.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Yeah, well you do take a lot of an extraordinary
- 9:30Speaker 2: amount of steamers.
- 9:32Speaker 4: That's a quadruple bogie for me. Stand that's par for
- 9:35Speaker 4: old moocers.
- 9:36Speaker 2: It was tell you what I mean. Because I can't
- 9:38Speaker 2: do it at work, because I'm a professional and I'm
- 9:41Speaker 2: dedicated to quality content, I do tend to do it
- 9:44Speaker 2: at home. What's that just I sort of chop it
- 9:46Speaker 2: down a few gears?
- 9:47Speaker 4: Oh right?
- 9:49Speaker 2: Love making only once a day for example.
- 9:52Speaker 4: From pardon from how many?
- 9:55Speaker 2: From oh two or three? Right?
- 9:58Speaker 4: Okay, I don't bother getting changed what I do. I mean, well,
- 10:02Speaker 4: I do from two strokes down to none.
- 10:04Speaker 2: No, it's like I'll wear some Mondays and some trackies,
- 10:08Speaker 2: you know, stuff like that. I uber eat everything.
- 10:13Speaker 4: That's not making any food.
- 10:14Speaker 3: So that cracker you sent a photo to us of today,
- 10:16Speaker 3: it had like salmon and tomato on it.
- 10:18Speaker 4: You uber eats that I did.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Yeah, you can get uber eats crackers. It's cool cracker,
- 10:26Speaker 2: all that sort of stuff. Because I don't know about you,
- 10:28Speaker 2: but if I'm going to have a holiday, I want
- 10:29Speaker 2: to relax, you know what I mean. I want to
- 10:31Speaker 2: just chill out and just do nothing. And you know
- 10:34Speaker 2: the lawns don't get moan all of that stuff.
- 10:37Speaker 6: Now, it doesn't mean it doesn't all need to happen.
- 10:38Speaker 6: It just means somebody else is going to have to
- 10:40Speaker 6: pick up the slack, right.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Oh totally yeah. Yeah. I mean I'm just saying I'm
- 10:45Speaker 2: not going to do it right. So I mean when
- 10:46Speaker 2: you say hang on, hang on, when you say someone
- 10:50Speaker 2: has to pick up the slack, I don't want anyone,
- 10:52Speaker 2: for example, picking up the slack on my love mate.
- 10:54Speaker 6: Oh, you can't pick and choose that slack needs picking up.
- 10:58Speaker 6: Someone's going to pick it up.
- 10:58Speaker 2: I would not be happy with that.
- 11:01Speaker 3: Does that mean that your wife is working overtime around
- 11:03Speaker 3: the house if you're you know, neutral, is she doing
- 11:06Speaker 3: more than usual to keep up with things?
- 11:08Speaker 2: Yes?
- 11:10Speaker 4: How do you feel about that?
- 11:12Speaker 2: Pretty good?
- 11:13Speaker 1: The whole archy big show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy
- 11:16Speaker 1: tune in on radio My Heart Radio Alter Ego. Let's
- 11:27Speaker 1: get another great New Zealand in the drawer.

- 11:35Speaker 2: to man.

- 11:37Speaker 3: mates or your partner. There, you get tickets for you
- 11:41Speaker 3: and your mate to head to the Alter Ego Festival

- 11:53Speaker 3: You also get a hotel on thousand dollars cash and

- 12:13Speaker 4: Both ah, you enjoy you enjoying the holidays.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Man, not yet, but we don't claim it into neutral
- 12:21Speaker 1: in the whole bit.
- 12:22Speaker 2: Of yeah, nice, hey been, what's for a year? What?
- 12:26Speaker 4: What?
- 12:27Speaker 2: Age?
- 12:30Speaker 5: Year?
- 12:30Speaker 7: Four nineteen?
- 12:35Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 12:35Speaker 2: Yeah, it's just so confusing these days.
- 12:38Speaker 4: Have you been? If you would win this camp, who
- 12:40Speaker 4: you're taking with.
- 12:42Speaker 5: Taking with me?
- 12:45Speaker 2: You've really got to do that in that scenario. I
- 12:47Speaker 2: just can't see you getting away with not doing that. Right,
- 12:53Speaker 2: good stuff, Good on your being sound the line and
- 12:54Speaker 2: our pack Sam will take care of you. Get a Paul,

- 13:09Speaker 4: What do you do for it?
- 13:13Speaker 5: Makes your build up? Yeah?
- 13:16Speaker 2: Bagbone?
- 13:19Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 13:19Speaker 4: Hey Paul, have you got a passport? Man?
- 13:24Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 13:24Speaker 5: Right?
- 13:24Speaker 4: And are you legally allowed to leave the country?
- 13:28Speaker 2: Yep?
- 13:29Speaker 4: Okay, cool, just a bit uncertain. They're but worried about Paul.
- 13:32Speaker 4: And if you win this, if you win this prize,
- 13:33Speaker 4: brow are you taking with you?
- 13:35Speaker 2: I take the ball and yeah, man, good on you man.
- 13:38Speaker 6: The old ball and chain I have the name for
- 13:41Speaker 6: your wife sort of drags you down, slows you down.
- 13:46Speaker 4: Just think of all the things you'll be out to be.
- 13:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I think I've heard that phrase a few times.
- 13:50Speaker 3: All right, Paul, you're in the draw mate, you hold
- 13:52Speaker 3: the line puck style?
- 13:53Speaker 4: Saw you out?
- 13:53Speaker 5: All right?
- 13:55Speaker 2: Good on your good on your pool?
- 13:57Speaker 4: What phone that guy was? How you fell? Did you know?
- 14:01Speaker 8: Oh?
- 14:02Speaker 4: No?
- 14:02Speaker 3: Were the in New Zealand's NonStop Auckland to Los Angeles
- 14:05Speaker 3: service and seamless USA connections with the United Airlines. You
- 14:09Speaker 3: can experience it all literally everything. Wow, it can be experienced. Wow,
- 14:14Speaker 3: isn't that great?
- 14:15Speaker 2: That is so cool?
- 14:16Speaker 4: Keezy.
- 14:17Speaker 3: By the way, we're going to be calling up the
- 14:19Speaker 3: winner of this competition next week. Oh, it's only a
- 14:22Speaker 3: few more days left. Here yourself from the drawer. It's
- 14:24Speaker 3: a biggy, Yes, biggie, it's a monster.
- 14:26Speaker 4: If you hear that cutter call again, get ready to
- 14:28Speaker 4: call one hundred Hodarky.
- 14:29Speaker 2: In the meantime, let's get a bit of rage inside us.
- 14:33Speaker 1: The Darky Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy. Tune
- 14:36Speaker 1: in on Radio a MACA.
- 14:41Speaker 2: It exists there on the Radio Hodarky Big Show. This
- 14:44Speaker 2: Tuesday afternoon. Let's talk TV.
- 14:48Speaker 9: What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue.
- 15:04Speaker 4: Fellas.
- 15:04Speaker 6: Last night I watched a movie called Jake Kelly. It's
- 15:08Speaker 6: on Netflix here. It starts George Clooney, Adam Sandler and
- 15:13Speaker 6: big names Laura Dern, directed by Noah Bombok, and the
- 15:20Speaker 6: directory is sort of This New York guy has been
- 15:23Speaker 6: around forever. He's a bit of a institution there. He's
- 15:26Speaker 6: done some other films which I've really liked, including The
- 15:29Speaker 6: Squid in the Whale, which is the first one I
- 15:30Speaker 6: watched of his, I think, which had Jeff Bridge, isn't
- 15:32Speaker 6: it Greenberg Francis Marriage Story which was a big one
- 15:38Speaker 6: with Adam Driver and Scarlett Joe Hanson.
- 15:41Speaker 3: So he's done some good stuff. Funny story about those movies,
- 15:44Speaker 3: I've never heard.
- 15:45Speaker 4: Of any of them.
- 15:46Speaker 6: Had no surprises there casey or critically acclaimed and Academy
- 15:49Speaker 6: Award winners.
- 15:50Speaker 4: Wow, But yes, it's this is not a good film.
- 15:54Speaker 4: I'm sorry.
- 15:55Speaker 6: I'd love to say it's good, but once again I've
- 15:56Speaker 6: been met with a film that I don't like. Yeah,
- 15:59Speaker 6: my wife and I were in this ushions about last night,
- 16:01Speaker 6: so is it ours? So maybe it is us? I
- 16:02Speaker 6: don't know, but I used to love films, and now
- 16:04Speaker 6: everything I watch is not enjoyable.
- 16:07Speaker 3: What about when you watch films from back when you
- 16:08Speaker 3: used to love films that's still good.
- 16:10Speaker 6: They're still good. They don't get bad. But this one
- 16:13Speaker 6: no boino. It's he plays a movie star that is
- 16:17Speaker 6: sort of investigating his life. What has he done? He
- 16:21Speaker 6: hasn't raised his kids properly, So he goes on a
- 16:23Speaker 6: trip overseas and he's followed around by Adam Sandler, who
- 16:26Speaker 6: is his agent, and Laura Doing who's his publicist, and
- 16:29Speaker 6: they end up going on the train with the common
- 16:31Speaker 6: folk and all this sort of stuff while he tries
- 16:32Speaker 6: to track down his daughter so that he can hang
- 16:35Speaker 6: out with her and just be annoying.
- 16:37Speaker 4: It's super annoying.
- 16:40Speaker 6: Some good bits in it, but by and large, yeah,
- 16:43Speaker 6: we turned it off. Put it that way around at
- 16:45Speaker 6: Old Bogie's house. It's called Jay Kelly. It's on Netflix.
- 16:49Speaker 6: I give it two busies, but I wouldn't recommend you
- 16:52Speaker 6: watch it. But I'd love to know if anybody thought
- 16:54Speaker 6: it was good. It's not. It's not been reviewed very
- 16:56Speaker 6: well at all. Although George Clooney, who plays George Klue
- 17:00Speaker 6: in this movie, has been nominated for a Golden Globe
- 17:02Speaker 6: today for his for his performance as George Clooney.
- 17:06Speaker 2: Right, Okay, well, he's probably to do it today. I've
- 17:09Speaker 2: never quite I don't know how to take Adam Sandler,
- 17:13Speaker 2: all right, I just I don't know. I've just never
- 17:16Speaker 2: He's done some really good stuff, he has, and he's
- 17:19Speaker 2: done some absolute pepper as well.
- 17:21Speaker 6: Yeah, early comedies were great. His dramas like Punch Drunk
- 17:25Speaker 6: Love from Paul Thomas Anderson. That is an all time
- 17:28Speaker 6: great film and a great performance. He's good in this
- 17:30Speaker 6: as well. Yes, but it's just a mediocre film.
- 17:33Speaker 3: This Adam sand Are we talking winning singer, Happy Gilmore,
- 17:37Speaker 3: Little Nikky, that sort of stuff. Yeah, for me, mine's
- 17:40Speaker 3: Happy Gilmore, Pup Drunk.
- 17:41Speaker 4: Love and the early comedies, Yeah, Happy Happy, No, it
- 17:49Speaker 4: was the first one. Billy medicine, Billy Madison actually forgot
- 17:52Speaker 4: about billy medicine.
- 17:52Speaker 2: I watched a show last night called a movie last
- 17:55Speaker 2: night called The Correspondent with Richard Rocksburg who is an
- 18:00Speaker 2: Australian actor, and he did a series called Break which
- 18:04Speaker 2: I very much enjoyed. Actually back in the day, the
- 18:07Speaker 2: story of the arrest, trial, and imprisonment of Australian journalist
- 18:11Speaker 2: Peter Grest, who, while reporting on the Arab Spring uprising,
- 18:15Speaker 2: becomes entangled in a deadly game of rivalries. It's a
- 18:20Speaker 2: true story, and it's one of those classic situations where
- 18:24Speaker 2: he's a journalist. Obviously is a true story. He's a
- 18:26Speaker 2: correspond he's a correspondent. He's just reporting the news. And
- 18:30Speaker 2: in the country that he's in, Egypt, they don't like
- 18:32Speaker 2: the news he's reporting, so they basically arrest him and
- 18:35Speaker 2: he gets chucked in an Egyptian prison.
- 18:41Speaker 4: A pyramid or something.
- 18:42Speaker 2: It's very very miserable, and he doesn't know what he's
- 18:47Speaker 2: done wrong, and he's in there for months and months
- 18:49Speaker 2: and months. The trial is an absolute debarcle, like the
- 18:53Speaker 2: court system is completely correct. A kangaroo a kangaroo called
- 18:56Speaker 2: it very much so. Also, his brother is the actor
- 19:01Speaker 2: Froy who played the brother of What was Our Show
- 19:04Speaker 2: that We Loved Together?
- 19:05Speaker 4: Mogis no mister in between, Yes between right?
- 19:10Speaker 2: His brother? Yeah, isn't it as well? It's a very
- 19:13Speaker 2: good movie if you like that sort of thing. People
- 19:16Speaker 2: that go through this all around the world where you
- 19:19Speaker 2: just don't stand a chance, you know what I mean,
- 19:21Speaker 2: because it's just all rigged against you. But he keeps
- 19:24Speaker 2: his humanity and keeps finding a good film.
- 19:27Speaker 3: The Correspondent, Where did You watch it Netflix. How many
- 19:29Speaker 3: buzzies out of five do you give it?
- 19:31Speaker 6: I'll give it three point two buzzies. Why do you
- 19:34Speaker 6: talking about things? Is it always really good and then
- 19:36Speaker 6: it just scrapes through on a rishi?
- 19:38Speaker 4: Yeah, but I like that. Who knows what going on? Yeah?
- 19:41Speaker 3: I watched half of a comedy last night ten minutes
- 19:43Speaker 3: and my wife got tired and had to go to bed.
- 19:46Speaker 4: I know how she feels. She's very tired too. No, No,
- 19:51Speaker 4: I played PlayStation. Do you have to talk about that?
- 19:54Speaker 4: I was playing Dark Souls?
- 19:55Speaker 5: Man?
- 19:56Speaker 4: Have you heard a Dark Souls? Who is?

- 20:21Speaker 4: Let me just get the.

- 20:36Speaker 2: made to.
- 20:36Speaker 4: Ask you a favor here for you man.
- 20:38Speaker 3: Yeah, it's just something that you know we've it's around
- 20:42Speaker 3: nicknames on the Big Show.
- 20:43Speaker 4: Yeah, and it's just one nickname. I think I just
- 20:45Speaker 4: need to nip in the button. Okay, sure, it's all good.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Is it to do with nips?
- 20:48Speaker 4: No, it's not to do with nips.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Ah. I mean, if we're going to get on that train,
- 20:52Speaker 2: I'm going to jump aboard.
- 20:54Speaker 4: What's that?
- 20:55Speaker 2: The nicknames?

- 21:45Speaker 2: No, it's good to learn new stuff every.
- 21:49Speaker 4: Day though, Thanks Jace. I appreciate what the time to
- 21:51Speaker 4: be alive.
- 21:51Speaker 2: Speaking of burgers, I'm making homemade burgers tonight.
- 21:54Speaker 4: Wait, so you're doing reburger out of a penny? Are
- 21:57Speaker 4: you what a backbone?
- 21:58Speaker 2: Yeah? Totally?
- 21:58Speaker 6: You even think about reburger men and perhaps they could
- 22:00Speaker 6: use your money there at times are tough out of there, brother.
- 22:04Speaker 2: Well, apparently because the food is so good. Yes, they
- 22:07Speaker 2: are thriving, so they don't want.
- 22:09Speaker 4: People to go.
- 22:10Speaker 2: I want people to go. Is what I'm saying. Is
- 22:13Speaker 2: they're doing so well. I don't need to help them, Okay,
- 22:15Speaker 2: And the food speaks for itself, doesn't it, fell us, Well.
- 22:18Speaker 3: It doesn't speak, doesn't speak for itself. The food doesn't
- 22:22Speaker 3: literally speak for it.
- 22:23Speaker 2: Are you getting prickly at me, Keysy because I picked
- 22:26Speaker 2: you up on feud?
- 22:27Speaker 4: No? No, no, no, I don't want to turn this into
- 22:29Speaker 4: some sort of feud, right? Is it food or few food?
- 22:34Speaker 4: I don't want to turn this into some sort of food.

- 23:09Speaker 2: like we should do. Because you asked for so many favors, you.
- 23:12Speaker 4: Are like a little bit of a chat sting or favor?
- 23:16Speaker 2: Can you favor?

- 23:36Speaker 3: Last night my wife got home late again. It sounds
- 23:41Speaker 3: to me like she's getting home right on time. What
- 23:44Speaker 3: do you mean, Well, she's getting she comes home later
- 23:46Speaker 3: and later, and it's not an accident.
- 23:47Speaker 4: She's not late.
- 23:48Speaker 3: No, I know because last night she played touch rugby
- 23:51Speaker 3: after work with her work to team.
- 23:54Speaker 4: I heard that that league finished weeks ago.
- 23:56Speaker 2: Yeah, what.
- 23:59Speaker 3: She came home with rugby boots and a little playing
- 24:02Speaker 3: bib thing.
- 24:03Speaker 2: I'm sure she had all the stuff.
- 24:04Speaker 4: Oh, she's got all the gears and she had a
- 24:07Speaker 4: visor on as well.
- 24:08Speaker 3: Do you say a bib like, yeah, a touch bib,
- 24:12Speaker 3: not like a bib that like you'd wear if you
- 24:14Speaker 3: were eating, like a like a.
- 24:16Speaker 2: You know, like a b the ones you're talking about.
- 24:18Speaker 4: I don't know if you do. But anyway, she comes home,
- 24:22Speaker 4: I'm cooking dinner because I was home first.
- 24:25Speaker 2: You were wearing an apron or anything.
- 24:31Speaker 4: And then she says, oh, so random.
- 24:34Speaker 3: Some guy comes up to me today and he goes, hey,
- 24:38Speaker 3: are you Are you married to old bird ship Kesy
- 24:43Speaker 3: And she has never heard that nick day before. Just
- 24:46Speaker 3: for the listeners out there. In high school, one time,
- 24:49Speaker 3: as a joke, a bit of water landed on my
- 24:51Speaker 3: shoulder and I went, it was what was that? And
- 24:53Speaker 3: then my mate went, oh, it was bird ship And
- 24:56Speaker 3: then they started calling me bird ship Chris.
- 24:58Speaker 4: Which is one of her greatest nicknames of all time.
- 25:01Speaker 4: It's one of the greatest nicknames of all time bird
- 25:03Speaker 4: shit Chris.
- 25:06Speaker 2: See that man, no what It just rolls off the
- 25:09Speaker 2: tongue for some reason.
- 25:10Speaker 4: It's the one man bird ship.
- 25:12Speaker 2: Chris.
- 25:14Speaker 3: Well was just wondering if maybe you guys wouldn't mind,
- 25:17Speaker 3: because my wife doesn't even has never even heard it,
- 25:19Speaker 3: you know, and we've got random guy I come.
- 25:20Speaker 4: Up and saying it to her, you know.
- 25:22Speaker 3: Just I'm just wondering if maybe we just park the
- 25:24Speaker 3: whole bird shit cres thing.
- 25:26Speaker 6: I don't think we've even gotten out of the park
- 25:28Speaker 6: completely at the moment. We've started the car, We've looked
- 25:31Speaker 6: over our shoulder, we're sort of pulling out into traffic
- 25:33Speaker 6: a little bit, but we haven't even got the engine warm.
- 25:36Speaker 5: Day.
- 25:36Speaker 3: Well, that's good. It's what I would like to do
- 25:38Speaker 3: is just sort of, you know, turn it off of
- 25:40Speaker 3: the ignition. They take the key out of the ignition,
- 25:42Speaker 3: hop out, lock the car, and just sort of throw
- 25:44Speaker 3: those keys down a drain.
- 25:45Speaker 6: It's a great idea. Keys, I'll tell you what, You're
- 25:47Speaker 6: absolutely right, big pole bird ship Chris Yes or no.
- 25:52Speaker 4: No no no, no, no no no.
- 25:53Speaker 3: I don't want to do a big pole on because
- 25:55Speaker 3: I know what the audience will say. They will say, yes,
- 25:57Speaker 3: I'm actually.
- 26:00Speaker 2: I don't mean to sidebar this right, but I'm just
- 26:03Speaker 2: curious how this dude who went up to your wife
- 26:07Speaker 2: knew that she was married to you.
- 26:09Speaker 3: I don't know, maybe social media, Yeah, that she was.
- 26:13Speaker 3: Actually she was ah. And then so the fact that
- 26:15Speaker 3: he recognized her and then said a nickname that she
- 26:17Speaker 3: had not heard of, but said keasy at the end
- 26:20Speaker 3: of it, she assumed it was something from the show.
- 26:22Speaker 3: She was right, Yeah, someone sticks three here on three
- 26:25Speaker 3: four eight three bird shit Tony.
- 26:26Speaker 4: So that still is the same. It's the it's the
- 26:30Speaker 4: first part I'm trying to just get rid of because
- 26:32Speaker 4: it doesn't really make sense. I have to explain the story.
- 26:34Speaker 4: It's a good story, though, that's back when you're at school.
- 26:37Speaker 2: Funnily enough, I think it's wretch that you're asking for that.
- 26:40Speaker 2: We were having a chat yesterday about my nickname?
- 26:44Speaker 4: Was your nickname? What one? Which is? But odge is?
- 26:47Speaker 4: But what's the other one? Janis Houghdy Janis?
- 26:55Speaker 2: Yeah, Janis.
- 26:56Speaker 4: Well how about this. Here's the deal.
- 26:57Speaker 3: I'll stop calling you hoidy Janis if we just get
- 27:00Speaker 3: rid of the whole bird ship Chris thing.
- 27:01Speaker 4: I don't think it's fear for.
- 27:03Speaker 2: I can live with I can live with that if
- 27:05Speaker 2: I can still call you bird ship Chris.
- 27:07Speaker 4: So your proposition is that we just we just keep everything.
- 27:10Speaker 2: We just hold on to it, Keysy, and we own it.
- 27:13Speaker 6: What about this one here from Gary on three for
- 27:15Speaker 6: three bird Ship Chris all day, all day, you see
- 27:21Speaker 6: no breaks?
- 27:22Speaker 4: Can I just leave it for the chilies?
- 27:24Speaker 2: Can I just suggest, Kesey, what you've done there and
- 27:27Speaker 2: asking for this favor, right is merely poor gasoline on
- 27:32Speaker 2: the flames. Yeah right, And now bird Ship Chris is
- 27:42Speaker 2: settled in the vernacular.
- 27:44Speaker 4: Mm hmm. Yeah, you're right. Yeah, Okay, you know what,
- 27:48Speaker 4: I just forget anything. It's all Gee Ellison, change, Jason,
- 27:55Speaker 4: I think drink.
- 28:00Speaker 1: The Hurdichy Big Show with Jace, Mike and Kezy. Tune
- 28:03Speaker 1: in week days at four on Radio Hodaki.
- 28:05Speaker 2: Who fighters there on the Radio Hodkey Big Show this
- 28:09Speaker 2: Shuesday afternoon. Now, feelers, we love a bit of boxing action,
- 28:14Speaker 2: don't we. Yeah, a bit of stage stage hey, well
- 28:19Speaker 2: exciting news. With that in mind, we've got the one,
- 28:22Speaker 2: the only David Nieka on the line, can I David
- 28:25Speaker 2: Gustallion house life? Well, good on you mate, Now I understand,
- 28:31Speaker 2: and I didn't know about this until today, You, my friend,
- 28:34Speaker 2: are stepping back into the ring this weekend.
- 28:37Speaker 7: Yeah, man getting busy again. We're going to catch the
- 28:39Speaker 7: year off with the banks and yeah, what better place
- 28:42Speaker 7: to have it than in our backyard. So I'm very,
- 28:45Speaker 7: very blessed to be able to fight here at home
- 28:48Speaker 7: and Gatton and have it televised and broadcasted back to
- 28:51Speaker 7: New Zealand on TV and Z.
- 28:53Speaker 4: Yeah, well that's the thing.
- 28:53Speaker 3: This Saturday, thirteenth of December, it is going to be
- 28:56Speaker 3: broadcast on TV and Z. The coverage on TV and
- 28:59Speaker 3: Z two and ten as it plus starts at seven
- 29:01Speaker 3: thirty pm, goes till ten thirty and Dave's fight a
- 29:03Speaker 3: scheduled to start at around about nine to thirty pm. Dave,
- 29:06Speaker 3: what can you tell us about your opponent mate Wujati
- 29:09Speaker 3: neur Lan.
- 29:11Speaker 7: Yeah, he's he's fluctuated in weight affair, but I think
- 29:14Speaker 7: he campaigned at super midiweight affair while back. But he's
- 29:17Speaker 7: he's blown up as big as two hundred.
- 29:19Speaker 4: And fifty pounds from what I've heard.
- 29:20Speaker 7: So I really have no idea what I'm going to
- 29:24Speaker 7: be looking at. Come come way and day.
- 29:27Speaker 4: Well, you've had a few different things go on there,
- 29:29Speaker 4: haven't you.
- 29:29Speaker 6: We were very privileged to see you have a scrap here,
- 29:33Speaker 6: and I believe it was an Awkland from memory, it was, yes,
- 29:36Speaker 6: and you had a late pull out and they had
- 29:37Speaker 6: to find some fellow from the States to come out,
- 29:39Speaker 6: and you you smack them around pretty good.
- 29:42Speaker 4: Actually, it made short work of him.
- 29:44Speaker 6: So you've had to sort of face late changes and
- 29:47Speaker 6: make adjustments throughout your career, haven't you.
- 29:49Speaker 7: Yeah, Yeah, that's that's kind of the whole art of
- 29:52Speaker 7: boxing really is being able to adapt and overcome, you know. So, yeah,
- 29:56Speaker 7: this'll be no different. I've got I've got a tough, tough,
- 29:59Speaker 7: durable opponent, and he's got thirteen knockouts out of his
- 30:02Speaker 7: seventeen wins. So I'm I'm I'm expecting him to come
- 30:06Speaker 7: out and just just engage in a firefight, and I'll
- 30:09Speaker 7: be ready.
- 30:10Speaker 2: I've had a look at him, David. I did some
- 30:12Speaker 2: study on him. I just wanted to see what kind
- 30:14Speaker 2: of fighter he was. I think he's weak in the kidneys, mate,
- 30:17Speaker 2: So kidney punch, kidney punch, massive uppercut de doo, he's
- 30:22Speaker 2: on the mat.
- 30:24Speaker 7: Oh sounds like a play. It sounds like I've done
- 30:26Speaker 7: more study than.
- 30:27Speaker 4: Another opportunity I saw for you. There was liver shot,
- 30:30Speaker 4: liver shot, liver shot, shot, kicking the teeth, the.
- 30:35Speaker 7: Liver king by the end of the night. Man, let's go.
- 30:39Speaker 4: Hey Dave, just doing some Instagram stalking. Man, I see
- 30:42Speaker 4: you've got chickens, bro, those at your house?
- 30:44Speaker 7: Yes, yeah, those are my my my baby raptors.
- 30:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:48Speaker 7: They're laying six eggs, six eggs a day at the moment.
- 30:55Speaker 5: What one?
- 30:55Speaker 7: H Yeah. I think I've been a fair few double
- 30:58Speaker 7: yocres lately, which meant would be good luck or treat
- 31:01Speaker 7: like a good omen.
- 31:02Speaker 4: I used to have chickens when I was a younger man,
- 31:05Speaker 4: and we used to hypnotize them. Have you ever got
- 31:07Speaker 4: into that.
- 31:08Speaker 2: I have tried once.
- 31:09Speaker 7: I've tried once. I think it takes a bit of
- 31:13Speaker 7: I've got a short attention problem.
- 31:16Speaker 6: There's a couple of ways you can do it. One
- 31:17Speaker 6: is that you forced a beak underneath their wing and
- 31:19Speaker 6: you and you rock them to sleep. The other way
- 31:22Speaker 6: is that you hold their heads down to the ground
- 31:23Speaker 6: and you draw a chalk line out from their beak
- 31:26Speaker 6: about six inches.
- 31:27Speaker 2: Uh.
- 31:28Speaker 4: It's a bloody weird sensation. God knows how they discovered it.
- 31:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I tried.
- 31:33Speaker 7: I tried the first one. I tried the first one
- 31:35Speaker 7: the beak under the wing. But yeah, Derek wasn't too
- 31:39Speaker 7: pleased about it.
- 31:40Speaker 4: I posh too hard mate.
- 31:43Speaker 2: Too. But you can get like a cone situation and
- 31:47Speaker 2: you put a bit of feed in it and they
- 31:48Speaker 2: shoved their heads in there and then because they can't
- 31:51Speaker 2: see anything, they just immediately lie down.
- 31:53Speaker 4: That sounds about right.
- 31:54Speaker 2: Yeah, that wouldn't surprise me there.
- 31:56Speaker 7: They're like, I'm the rooster, so they're like very very submissive,
- 31:59Speaker 7: so they just following me around. I'll take them. I
- 32:01Speaker 7: take them for a walk every day, walk them across
- 32:03Speaker 7: the across the field to go scratch some scratch and
- 32:06Speaker 7: bugs and stuff. So yeah, they're my best mate day.
- 32:09Speaker 3: Yeah, because I used to own chickens, Dave. We had Lemon,
- 32:12Speaker 3: we had Piggy, we had Beatrice and Gaale and then
- 32:16Speaker 3: they used to have scraps and stuff as well. But
- 32:18Speaker 3: is the reason you've got chickens for the amount of
- 32:21Speaker 3: eggs that you eat?
- 32:23Speaker 7: Pretty much? Pretty much? Yeah, like we've actually ended up.
- 32:27Speaker 7: There was a fear old shortage for a while, so
- 32:29Speaker 7: I was actually supplying the local the local cafes, which
- 32:33Speaker 7: is hilarious.
- 32:34Speaker 4: Right right, So you're an egg dealer, did you?
- 32:38Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 32:39Speaker 2: Did you ever feed the chickens?
- 32:41Speaker 5: Me?
- 32:41Speaker 3: Personally, that was my job was to feed the chicken,
- 32:44Speaker 3: So was feeding the chickens every single morning.
- 32:45Speaker 4: I beat you. Hey, but Dave, we didn't call you
- 32:49Speaker 4: up to talk about chickens, even though I'd love to. Man,
- 32:52Speaker 4: at this point in your journey, you know you've got
- 32:54Speaker 4: the fight this weekend. How diled and are you?
- 32:57Speaker 7: I'm dying, I'm dyning. We've We've had We've had a
- 33:00Speaker 7: fair bit of prep for this one. I had an
- 33:02Speaker 7: eight week camp thinking I was going to be fighting
- 33:05Speaker 7: on Joseph Parker's last cards, right, I pretty much just
- 33:09Speaker 7: backed that up with another four to six weeks of
- 33:11Speaker 7: work and I'm ready. Man. I'm just as ready for
- 33:15Speaker 7: the fight as I am for a holiday though.
- 33:17Speaker 4: Yeah right, absolutely, Well, what better way to kick into
- 33:20Speaker 4: a holiday than smacking some guy over Exactly.
- 33:26Speaker 3: That's the way I prepare as well. David Yuka fighting
- 33:28Speaker 3: this weekend once again. It's on tv z In two
- 33:30Speaker 3: and TVs Plus from seven thirty pm. The fight starts
- 33:33Speaker 3: at nine thirty. David Nica, thanks so much for talking
- 33:36Speaker 3: to us, mate, and good luck against Jati Yulang.
- 33:38Speaker 7: Thank you very much, good talking.
- 33:40Speaker 1: Thanks guys the Hilarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy.
- 33:44Speaker 1: Tune in on Radio O.
- 33:47Speaker 2: We am there on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this
- 33:50Speaker 2: Tuesday afternoon. Just to remind it too, it's a Tuesday.
- 33:53Speaker 2: So you've seen through those texts on three four eight
- 33:56Speaker 2: three for what's on the dinner with me? I know
- 33:59Speaker 2: what's on the what is it?
- 34:02Speaker 4: What's on the tea with me? Dinner?
- 34:03Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that's it.
- 34:05Speaker 4: Let's just put it back to what it was called.
- 34:09Speaker 2: And on three four eight three, and everyone that texts
- 34:11Speaker 2: through what they're having for dinner goes in the drawer
- 34:13Speaker 2: for a fifty dollars reburg of voutcher Reburg Reburger.
- 34:16Speaker 4: But it fells I got breaking news.
- 34:21Speaker 2: This is breaking news.
- 34:26Speaker 4: In christ Church today.
- 34:28Speaker 3: Today, an adventurous yet persistent baby furst Seal was rescued
- 34:33Speaker 3: and released twice after being spotted wandering through suburban christ Church.
- 34:38Speaker 4: Did you guys hear about this?
- 34:39Speaker 2: Yes?
- 34:40Speaker 4: Oh you did, right?
- 34:41Speaker 3: Okay, Well, apparently it came from around there the Headland
- 34:44Speaker 3: past Taylor's mistake there, which is sort of about pass
- 34:47Speaker 3: Sumner Taylor's mistake.
- 34:49Speaker 4: That's what's called Ye got a great name that's great.
- 34:52Speaker 3: Yeah, cab was called I think a captain parked there
- 34:54Speaker 3: in sand or something blood.
- 34:56Speaker 2: Do you think his name was Taylor? I think so. Yeah,
- 34:59Speaker 2: just crashed into the into the corner of the reef
- 35:01Speaker 2: there or something.
- 35:01Speaker 4: There's no reef there.
- 35:02Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 35:03Speaker 4: I don't know, right, I don't know what. It's called
- 35:05Speaker 4: tailor's mistake. Yes, But anyway, the seals sort.
- 35:08Speaker 3: Of was work walking into suburban christ Church there and
- 35:12Speaker 3: had to be rescued twice. And the issue they're saying
- 35:15Speaker 3: is that baby seals are very impressionable, right, So like
- 35:18Speaker 3: if one just comes up, let's say, walking into a cafe,
- 35:21Speaker 3: you know, and you sort of serve it, you know,
- 35:22Speaker 3: you serve it and orders a coffee or something like that,
- 35:25Speaker 3: like a fluffy, like maybe as a fluffy or whatever.
- 35:29Speaker 3: They're saying, don't sort of go up to it, don't
- 35:31Speaker 3: pick it up, don't feed it, because then it will
- 35:32Speaker 3: become used to human connection and we'll start seeking it out.
- 35:37Speaker 4: They're very quick to assimilate, are they really?
- 35:40Speaker 5: Are?
- 35:41Speaker 4: They regards?
- 35:42Speaker 6: So it's one of those things that's like with birds,
- 35:43Speaker 6: isn't it The first thing a bird seeds when it
- 35:46Speaker 6: cracks out of the egg it regards as it being
- 35:48Speaker 6: its mother, right, and baby seals very quick to adjust
- 35:55Speaker 6: or alter who they regard as being a parental part
- 35:58Speaker 6: of their family.
- 36:00Speaker 2: This actually hits really close to home for me because
- 36:03Speaker 2: my wife, well we're in the same situation, but it
- 36:06Speaker 2: was in Dunedin actually, and we stumbled upon a little
- 36:10Speaker 2: baby seal and my wife is very compassionate, thoughtful person,
- 36:13Speaker 2: so she breast fed it, yes, and could we get
- 36:17Speaker 2: rid of the basket? I don't think so, I can't know.
- 36:19Speaker 6: And then it's the thing in that newsic article their
- 36:22Speaker 6: keysy where you say, you know, they said it free
- 36:25Speaker 6: and then it came back. There's an example of if
- 36:28Speaker 6: you love something, said it free, and if it comes back,
- 36:30Speaker 6: it's yours, and if it doesn't, then it was never
- 36:32Speaker 6: yours to begin with, which means the seal.
- 36:33Speaker 4: Is yours, guest, and the New Zealand low and you
- 36:36Speaker 4: can keep it.
- 36:37Speaker 6: So it's sort of as a finder's keeper finess keepers
- 36:40Speaker 6: lose a weepers situation, but sort.
- 36:42Speaker 10: Of more in your nautical animal sort of flora fauna
- 36:45Speaker 10: sort of thing, right, Yeah, yeah, I don't know what
- 36:47Speaker 10: it's got to do with flowers and birds. Flora fauna right,
- 36:50Speaker 10: well that as wildlife. Yeah, so what ended up happening
- 36:55Speaker 10: to that one?
- 36:55Speaker 5: Man?
- 36:56Speaker 2: Oh we still got it? Yeah, but it wasn't actually
- 36:58Speaker 2: a seal. It was a sea lion being bastard back
- 37:01Speaker 2: and bastard still breastfeed. No, it's hooked.
- 37:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:07Speaker 4: When was this that you first met the sea lion?
- 37:09Speaker 2: About seventeen years ago?
- 37:11Speaker 4: So you've been living with a sea lion for seventeen years.
- 37:14Speaker 2: Yeah, the duck doesn't like it.
- 37:17Speaker 3: Yeah, well look doc or doc yes, starts saying, don't
- 37:21Speaker 3: go near baby seals and just leave them to it
- 37:22Speaker 3: and you want it unless you want it.
- 37:24Speaker 4: Then you can go up and pare it. Yeah.
- 37:26Speaker 6: Yeah, fastest way to get yourself a new seal, going
- 37:29Speaker 6: pat it? You whateppened to the old one? Did you
- 37:32Speaker 6: blow a seal?
- 37:34Speaker 4: Wait?
- 37:34Speaker 1: What the hold? Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and
- 37:40Speaker 1: Keysy tune in week days and four on Radio.

- 38:24Speaker 2: Okay, well you yeah, I mean to ask you, actually, Mogie,
- 38:34Speaker 2: you were talking about how important your dinner was last
- 38:37Speaker 2: night after a big weekend. You have the you have
- 38:40Speaker 2: the sort of hangover dinner and the next dinner is
- 38:43Speaker 2: equally important. What what did you run with in the end?
- 38:47Speaker 6: Nothing of some leftover ravioli that my daughter had. Nothing
- 38:51Speaker 6: else was on the offering. I was offered to cook
- 38:54Speaker 6: some chicken with some asparagus and a salad. Said, I'll
- 38:59Speaker 6: just want to shut the because I can't be asked
- 39:03Speaker 6: cooking anything. Yeah, so it's a bit of a lit
- 39:05Speaker 6: nobody's fault, nobody's fault but my own.
- 39:07Speaker 2: Yeah, that's.
- 39:10Speaker 4: Devastating.
- 39:11Speaker 3: Hey, Jays, what you said earlier in the show that
- 39:13Speaker 3: you were making burgers and what kind of burgers beef burgers, right, cheeseburger.
- 39:20Speaker 4: Actually specifically, are you making the petties yourself?
- 39:24Speaker 2: I've already made the petties.
- 39:25Speaker 4: Would you make them mince and bread crumb and the.
- 39:28Speaker 2: Egg and salt and pepper onion?
- 39:30Speaker 5: No?
- 39:32Speaker 2: I put I fry off the onions separately and put
- 39:35Speaker 2: them in the burger.
- 39:36Speaker 4: Yes, right, do you caramelize them?
- 39:38Speaker 2: Yes?
- 39:38Speaker 4: Okay? And did you put any spices in the petties?
- 39:41Speaker 4: Just Sultan pepper right, okay, that sounds young.
- 39:45Speaker 2: Thanks man. Oh a bit of nutmeg? Really? Yes? A
- 39:50Speaker 2: bit of cinnamon, cinnamon, cinnamon. Yeah, that's weird, isn't it.
- 39:55Speaker 2: You'd be surprised, man, But a star and niece Savannah.

- 40:25Speaker 3: some reason it's were you texted what you're having for
- 40:28Speaker 3: dinner or tea and then I read it out and
- 40:30Speaker 3: then you're going to draw for a fifty dollars Reburg

- 41:28Speaker 4: the night.
- 41:28Speaker 6: I would like it, probably with some sliced tomatoes in
- 41:31Speaker 6: it and on some kind of like a toasted sour
- 41:35Speaker 6: bro sour dough bun to hear of that, but that
- 41:41Speaker 6: was a sour bro someone who's really disappointed with their dinner,
- 41:44Speaker 6: which won't be this guy because it sounds we're one of.
- 41:46Speaker 4: The bros is had a bad dinners with sour I'd.
- 41:48Speaker 2: Be tempted to maga in that sense. A couple of
- 41:51Speaker 2: slices of avocado on the side. Yeah, absolutely, maybe a
- 41:54Speaker 2: little dollar of pesta.
- 41:55Speaker 6: I'll tell you what the thing that sets off an
- 41:56Speaker 6: avocado A slice of avocado like you're describing there, JS.
- 41:59Speaker 4: So yes, God it lifts the game of an evo,
- 42:02Speaker 4: actually on an evo on toast? Right, Yes, so you
- 42:05Speaker 4: put the ebbo down there, diced red onion, sprinkling of
- 42:09Speaker 4: salt as you mean it, and a few splashes of
- 42:13Speaker 4: sacha hot chili.
- 42:14Speaker 5: On it.
- 42:16Speaker 6: Overright, I find it over But I'm always got the
- 42:19Speaker 6: crack pepper. You've got to have the cracked pepper. We've
- 42:21Speaker 6: got tomato on the did you say no?
- 42:22Speaker 4: Tomato? Tomato? Okay? But happy to have it all right?
- 42:24Speaker 2: You see in that regard, if it's on my toast,
- 42:28Speaker 2: a little bit of salt and pepper and a bit
- 42:29Speaker 2: of aoli a.
- 42:33Speaker 3: Yuck, Yuck's disgusting. Get a there, feelers, Susanne here, bring Susan. Yeah,
- 42:45Speaker 3: that's Rosanna, but it is it's Toto. It's Rosanna, Toto.
- 42:50Speaker 3: Get a felers making a chicken palm. But it's actually
- 42:54Speaker 3: just a chicken schnitty with double cheese sizzlers on top
- 42:56Speaker 3: and a dollop of barbecue sauce cheese nizzles sizzlers sizzlers.
- 43:01Speaker 2: Do you remember those?
- 43:02Speaker 4: My god? Yeah, I do.
- 43:04Speaker 6: Meat the product they're called Jason not actually a sausage
- 43:07Speaker 6: meat product.
- 43:08Speaker 2: Yes, just well stuffed with cheese, the sort of thing
- 43:10Speaker 2: that cheese would.
- 43:13Speaker 6: We used to demo them ahead of them. They're bloody delicious,
- 43:15Speaker 6: but there's no way. Well, look, I don't want to
- 43:17Speaker 6: make any disparaging remarks about the sizzler, but I think
- 43:22Speaker 6: they might be shit. That's your opinion, yes, my one
- 43:27Speaker 6: man's opinion.
- 43:27Speaker 2: But also, what are you doing checking on top of
- 43:31Speaker 2: you know, a chicken chicken snitty?
- 43:33Speaker 4: Making a chicken palm parmasana. It's from Europe? Have you
- 43:37Speaker 4: not heard of them? Have you been there?
- 43:38Speaker 5: Man?
- 43:39Speaker 4: Was a little bit of ham. So the ham you've
- 43:41Speaker 4: got some chopped up sausages?
- 43:43Speaker 2: Oh yeah, okay is that European?
- 43:44Speaker 4: Is it? Parmashana is chicken with some cheese on it?
- 43:47Speaker 4: And to Marti, is it not in your ham?
- 43:49Speaker 5: In?
- 43:49Speaker 4: Then no, you're right, but the ham would be nice too.
- 43:52Speaker 4: Sounds there's a quart humble.
- 43:53Speaker 2: I like a chicken snitzy snitt.
- 43:57Speaker 3: You can't say I like you clearly don't, because no
- 43:59Speaker 3: one's never heard of it, like a chicken schnitzy. God,
- 44:03Speaker 3: sorry for to be such a sour bro about it,
- 44:05Speaker 3: but I think if you're going to say you like something,
- 44:07Speaker 3: you have to pronounce it right, get their feelers, toy there, ticker, Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 44:20Speaker 3: I'm having seal steak tonight.
- 44:23Speaker 4: Seal steak. Yeah, what do you mean? Have you ever
- 44:25Speaker 4: eaten seal if it's.
- 44:27Speaker 6: Been run over? I only have it if it's been
- 44:29Speaker 6: road killed. It's not about, you know, a seal that
- 44:31Speaker 6: swims in the ocean.
- 44:32Speaker 4: So yeah, I guess so yeah, okay, yeah, man, good eating,
- 44:36Speaker 4: good eating can be. Would you eat a seal? Oh
- 44:41Speaker 4: you've eaten one before?
- 44:42Speaker 2: Yes?
- 44:43Speaker 3: Right, okay, I wouldn't eat one personally, all right, last
- 44:44Speaker 3: one there, Feelers, get a Feller's.
- 44:47Speaker 4: Sally here Sally juicy refoel.
- 44:53Speaker 3: Dinner tonight boned chicken thighs, marinated and lime juice, chili, garlic,
- 44:58Speaker 3: fresh ginger, soy and fo sos and then on cooked
- 45:02Speaker 3: on the barbecue, served on a rice noodle cellar with
- 45:05Speaker 3: cucumber red caps can. Finally sliced carrots and bean sprouts,
- 45:08Speaker 3: topped off with lime and soy and garlic dressing.
- 45:13Speaker 1: The Hiarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio hod.
- 45:17Speaker 2: There on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show, there's a glorious Tuesday.
- 45:22Speaker 2: Even sorry, fellas, old pugs aren't just said something before
- 45:26Speaker 2: we went on here. Then it just put me off
- 45:28Speaker 2: kilter for a second.
- 45:29Speaker 4: Don't you mean he had Yeah, he had in that vein?
- 45:34Speaker 2: What vein?
- 45:34Speaker 4: That's disgusting, Jason put me off.
- 45:36Speaker 2: Now, this is what I'm saying, man, it's just it
- 45:39Speaker 2: just really true me.
- 45:40Speaker 4: You know what he's like though, it's just filth, constant,
- 45:42Speaker 4: constant disgust.
- 45:44Speaker 2: It's been it's been a revelation, I'll be honest with you,
- 45:47Speaker 2: learning about Pugs' sexuality. Anyway, Now listen, go Friday, we're
- 45:53Speaker 2: playing Ambrose together, fellas, how we're feeling around, guys.
- 45:56Speaker 4: I'm feeling good about it.
- 45:57Speaker 6: Many obviously it's three person explaining AMBROSEI for his key,
- 46:01Speaker 6: and also that you know, obviously I'm terrible.
- 46:04Speaker 4: I don't play at all, and so at some point
- 46:07Speaker 4: you're going to have to use one of my strokes.
- 46:08Speaker 4: I'm as human.
- 46:09Speaker 3: Yeah, well that's the thing I don't I haven't had
- 46:10Speaker 3: a rundown of the official rules. But basically, Chasing the
- 46:13Speaker 3: Fox is this Friday at Royal Auckland Grange. Earlier in
- 46:17Speaker 3: the day, we are competing in a sort of non
- 46:19Speaker 3: broadcast version of Chasing the Fox.
- 46:21Speaker 4: Going up against I think commercial sponsors and things.
- 46:24Speaker 3: I think the Herald's got a team, the ACC has
- 46:25Speaker 3: got a team, things like that, and it is the
- 46:27Speaker 3: three of us. Now Ambrose is where we each te
- 46:30Speaker 3: off and then whoever's ball is best, we then pick
- 46:34Speaker 3: up the other two and all hit from that spot.
- 46:36Speaker 4: That's how it works for the whole game.
- 46:37Speaker 2: And to be fair, Mourgie, I saw you play some
- 46:40Speaker 2: beautiful shots in FIGI, so you're going to be there mate.
- 46:45Speaker 4: Well, the fact that it's Ambrose is certainly going to
- 46:47Speaker 4: work in our favorite.
- 46:48Speaker 2: Well because basically what it means is, this is what
- 46:51Speaker 2: I discovered when we played it the other day. You
- 46:52Speaker 2: get three chances. Yeah, you know what I mean, And
- 46:54Speaker 2: so you can actually take a few more risks. You
- 46:58Speaker 2: guys can do your craze. He smashed down the line,
- 47:01Speaker 2: and I can play old man goal. Yes, so I
- 47:04Speaker 2: can just hit it straight in about twenty meters. We
- 47:07Speaker 2: can use that. A few guys go massively wayward.
- 47:10Speaker 6: I've got to say, I'm really looking forward to it.
- 47:12Speaker 6: We'll be out there a little bit earlier in the
- 47:14Speaker 6: day get a feel for the course. Apparently, by all accounts,
- 47:18Speaker 6: is a beautiful course, isn't it. It's going to be beautiful.
- 47:20Speaker 6: Have you played out there before?
- 47:21Speaker 5: No?
- 47:22Speaker 2: Never, never, it's going to be amazing.
- 47:23Speaker 3: I've never played out there. I've certainly I was out
- 47:25Speaker 3: there last year for Chasing the Fox. A bit of
- 47:28Speaker 3: a hazy memory of the day, to be honest, but
- 47:30Speaker 3: I remember having an absolute ball. Yes, and it is
- 47:34Speaker 3: one of the fancier golf courses that we will have
- 47:36Speaker 3: ever played on.
- 47:38Speaker 6: So it's just not you know, don't embarrass ourselves. Yeah,
- 47:42Speaker 6: and we're playing can a hole?
- 47:43Speaker 5: Is that right?
- 47:44Speaker 4: But there's only six hours? So should that be two
- 47:46Speaker 4: cans a hole? Oh that's a good point. I don't
- 47:47Speaker 4: know what as a can holes?
- 47:49Speaker 2: Yeah, so right, okay, so that's a six pack that
- 47:52Speaker 2: puts another spin on it all together. My concern is,
- 47:56Speaker 2: because it is going to be a beautiful golf course,
- 47:58Speaker 2: that we're going to hack the crap out of it,
- 48:00Speaker 2: massive divots everywhere before they start.
- 48:03Speaker 6: I mean, my my idea is that we make some
- 48:05Speaker 6: real damage to it before the competition prop up against
- 48:09Speaker 6: on the TV and.
- 48:10Speaker 3: Then they go, oh wow, what's that with the balls landed?
- 48:12Speaker 3: The old moggie was hacking away his corner. Yeah, yeah,
- 48:15Speaker 3: Mogi's mote. What would you say, your speciality is just
- 48:19Speaker 3: wandering around talking ship.
- 48:22Speaker 4: That's it's got to be my golf. Yeah, because you've
- 48:25Speaker 4: got to have one of those guys that sort of.
- 48:26Speaker 6: Wandering around a bit of chat chat bag and the
- 48:29Speaker 6: other guys putting them off your game. I think it's
- 48:31Speaker 6: going to be my specialty, and I don't care that
- 48:34Speaker 6: I'll be terrible as long as you guys are sort
- 48:36Speaker 6: of going good, you know.
- 48:37Speaker 5: Wow?
- 48:37Speaker 4: Right, Okay, I don't think I've ever gone a specialty?
- 48:40Speaker 4: Was your specialty probably putting?
- 48:42Speaker 3: Ah, Jace, Come on, man, your agree, Jay sat putting
- 48:47Speaker 3: is probably my specialty?
- 48:50Speaker 4: No, really, you don't agree?
- 48:52Speaker 2: Yeah, No, he's a pretty.
- 48:53Speaker 5: Good but.
- 48:54Speaker 4: He would be off the t, wouldn't you? Straight down
- 48:56Speaker 4: the gap?
- 48:57Speaker 2: Well, generally I'm gym. My biggest strength is I'm generally
- 49:02Speaker 2: pretty straight.
- 49:02Speaker 3: So you had it literally one hundred meters, did straight right,
- 49:05Speaker 3: and then we'll have wild swings at it trying to
- 49:07Speaker 3: go for two hundred meters. They will slice out of bounds,
- 49:09Speaker 3: and then we'll take Jason's shot every time.
- 49:11Speaker 4: Absolutely, that's how it works.
- 49:12Speaker 2: Great.
- 49:13Speaker 4: Yeah, looking forward to it.
- 49:14Speaker 3: Of course, the official event is going to be broadcast
- 49:16Speaker 3: on TV and Z, which is bloody exciting, the ACC
- 49:18Speaker 3: commentating it will be supporting Team Media Die Hendred and
- 49:21Speaker 3: also Jeremy Wells playing in Team Media and the big
- 49:23Speaker 3: show is going to be live from the Heineken Silver
- 49:26Speaker 3: Tint Can't Wait Feels off.
- 49:29Speaker 1: The hold Aching Big Show with Mike and Kezy. Tune
- 49:33Speaker 1: in week days at four on Radio Holdachi.
- 49:42Speaker 2: Well there you got your man, Barstards. That's a big show.
- 49:45Speaker 2: Done and dusted this Tuesday evening on the podcast Outra Today.
- 49:49Speaker 2: Good news. We didn't have to put a disclaimer on it.
- 49:53Speaker 4: It was our squeaky clean still good obviously, was it?
- 49:57Speaker 4: I remember a thing about it?
- 49:59Speaker 2: Neither.
- 49:59Speaker 4: No, the clip here is about boating. Boating. There's no
- 50:04Speaker 4: way boating could be filthy, could it?
- 50:07Speaker 2: I guess we'll find out when you play it to it.
- 50:10Speaker 3: Yeah, true, actually motor boating anyway, here's a club. He
- 50:15Speaker 3: literally we're just backing and let them go drive off,
- 50:19Speaker 3: park the trailer and then sit down again.
- 50:20Speaker 2: That's a great idea because the amount of debacles I've
- 50:24Speaker 2: seen at boat ramps.
- 50:26Speaker 4: Would you be of any use?
- 50:27Speaker 2: No, I wouldn't be. I'd be terrible. Yeah, that was
- 50:32Speaker 2: Keysy telling us about a dude that just sat at
- 50:35Speaker 2: the boat ramp with his tractor and just took everyone's
- 50:38Speaker 2: boat down.
- 50:38Speaker 4: What's it goes for? That? Is he getting paid?
- 50:41Speaker 3: I think you worked at the coast Guard or something,
- 50:43Speaker 3: and the particular boat ramp was on the beach and
- 50:46Speaker 3: so you couldn't use a vehicle.
- 50:47Speaker 4: You had to use a tractor. You don't know whether
- 50:49Speaker 4: people were paying for that or it was just there
- 50:52Speaker 4: and that was his job all day day.
- 50:54Speaker 3: But he was parking it under the Life Saving Club, right,
- 50:57Speaker 3: so it was like an official council vehicle, this big track.
- 51:00Speaker 2: How good you sold? A lot of problems?
- 51:02Speaker 4: I say smart, It is smart.
- 51:03Speaker 3: Guys.
- 51:04Speaker 2: Hey, Mogi, what are you getting up to you tonight?
- 51:07Speaker 4: Look, it's only Tuesday.
- 51:09Speaker 6: As we get closer and closer to the end of
- 51:10Speaker 6: the year, I feel like just putting my feet up
- 51:12Speaker 6: and having a few beers, But I know I can't,
- 51:13Speaker 6: so I'll be doing nothing.
- 51:15Speaker 4: Actually, I want to watch a movie tonight. What's it
- 51:16Speaker 4: called Train Dreams?
- 51:17Speaker 2: Train Dreams.
- 51:18Speaker 6: I'm going to try and watch that tonight. I've been
- 51:20Speaker 6: going through some issues with my daughter getting up. She'sn't
- 51:23Speaker 6: been about six thirty and she's lately she's been getting
- 51:26Speaker 6: up every ten or fifteen minutes until about nine o'clock
- 51:30Speaker 6: at night. Yes, it's too often. So last night I've
- 51:33Speaker 6: banned her from her speaker. She's got a little speaker
- 51:35Speaker 6: that's banned now for a week. So I said, but
- 51:38Speaker 6: if you for every night that you don't get up,
- 51:41Speaker 6: you get an extra day taken off that seven day band.
- 51:44Speaker 4: So I'm hoping I'll be able to get home at seven,
- 51:46Speaker 4: put it to bed, and then we'll be able to
- 51:49Speaker 4: watch a movie without a getting up and ruin that
- 51:51Speaker 4: every few minutes. You know what I mean. Yes, I'll
- 51:52Speaker 4: let you know how I go tomorrow. Fellers, I know
- 51:54Speaker 4: you'd be interested. Good stuff, mate, Kezy, what are you
- 51:56Speaker 4: having fatigued?
- 51:58Speaker 3: I think I'm making a pasta. I've just checked the
- 52:01Speaker 3: GPS located. My wife is at home currently, so she's
- 52:03Speaker 3: beaten me.
- 52:04Speaker 2: Home before she pops out.
- 52:05Speaker 4: Now she's stayed home, so she's got work to do
- 52:07Speaker 4: in the office, so she said, So I'm going to
- 52:08Speaker 4: make dinner and then we're going to probably watch the
- 52:11Speaker 4: second half of the twenty minute comedy we only got
- 52:13Speaker 4: halfway through last night.
- 52:14Speaker 2: Yeah, good stuff. What about you, man, I'm just going
- 52:16Speaker 2: to chill out tonight. Nice man, check to my wife.
- 52:19Speaker 2: Look for apartments, you know, stuff like that, eat food,
- 52:22Speaker 2: make love,
