Federal Officials Deny Diddy Was Injured in a Prison Fight (10/16/26) · The Epstein Chronicles

Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome back to the program. Yesterday
• 0:04
Speaker 1: we were talking about Diddy and the fight that he
• 0:06
Speaker 1: got into in jail, allegedly with the drug lord, Christopher Koch. Well,
• 0:13
Speaker 1: the Department of Justice, the BOP, has clarified and said
• 0:18
Speaker 1: that that didn't happen. According to them, that is not
• 0:22
Speaker 1: something that occurred. And official sources are saying that the
• 0:27
Speaker 1: cause of the injury is private. and that they can't
• 0:31
Speaker 1: talk about what happened when it comes to inmates inside
• 0:34
Speaker 1: the facility. Now, I don't know if I buy that
• 0:36
Speaker 1: or not, but that's the official narrative. So, with that said,
• 0:41
Speaker 1: why don't we get updated and dive into this article
• 0:43
Speaker 1: from Deadline and see what's what. Headline, Diddy's Prison Head
• 0:48
Speaker 1: Injury Mystery Deepens. Fed deny fight with drug kingpin sent
• 0:52
Speaker 1: Grammy Award winner to the hospital. This article was authored
• 0:57
Speaker 1: by Dominic Patton. A dust-up with the drug lord was
• 1:01
Speaker 1: not what sent Sean Combs to the hospital with a
• 1:03
Speaker 1: head injury last week. The Bureau of Prisons insists. However,
• 1:07
Speaker 1: the actual cause of the injury and Combs' current status
• 1:11
Speaker 1: is under lock and key. Well, here's the thing. Christopher Koch, a.k.a. Dudas,
• 1:20
Speaker 1: just had another year tacked on to his sentence. Now,
• 1:25
Speaker 1: that could be a coincidence, right? Most certainly could be.
• 1:28
Speaker 1: But considering the high nature of what went down allegedly,
• 1:31
Speaker 1: I would think that you'd end up getting some more
• 1:34
Speaker 1: time for doing something like this. Now, there was no
• 1:38
Speaker 1: reason provided for that extension, but you have to think
• 1:41
Speaker 1: in the wake of what went down with Diddy that
• 1:43
Speaker 1: that might have played a role. So we'll have to
• 1:46
Speaker 1: keep an eye on that as well as far as
• 1:49
Speaker 1: what occurs with Mr. Koch and his punishment, right? That
• 1:54
Speaker 1: might give us some clues as to what went down
• 1:56
Speaker 1: with Diddy or what didn't go down with Diddy. So
• 1:59
Speaker 1: we'll have to wait for that to all shake out.
• 2:02
Speaker 1: One thing that we have to keep in mind is
• 2:03
Speaker 1: there's a lot of secrecy when it comes to federal prison.
• 2:07
Speaker 1: Not a lot of things are available. They're not going
• 2:09
Speaker 1: to give you much information. And even if you hit
• 2:11
Speaker 1: them with FOIAs, they're very reticent to turn over information.
• 2:16
Speaker 1: They'll claim that it's, you know, security, privacy, the whole thing.
• 2:19
Speaker 1: And look, that might be true. But it's also true
• 2:22
Speaker 1: that they don't want any outside eyes prying. While for privacy, safety,
• 2:26
Speaker 1: and security reasons, we do not comment on the conditions
• 2:30
Speaker 1: of confinement for any individual in our custody, we can
• 2:33
Speaker 1: tell you that the story you are referring to is
• 2:35
Speaker 1: false and did not happen. Officials at FCI Fort Dix
• 2:39
Speaker 1: in Jersey say of reports by TMZ and others that
• 2:43
Speaker 1: Diddy got in a fight on October 9th with fellow
• 2:46
Speaker 1: inmate Christopher Koch. The reports claim that the alleged brawl
• 2:49
Speaker 1: was over the spotlight in cell sweeps, a recent NBC
• 2:52
Speaker 1: News expose on Combs' contraband and high living had brought
• 2:56
Speaker 1: down on the minimum security facility, and it's more than 4,200 residents. Look,
• 3:02
Speaker 1: that is certainly a way to get the big dog
• 3:05
Speaker 1: on campus, if you will, pissed off. I mean, you
• 3:08
Speaker 1: have drug bosses in here, God knows who else, and
• 3:11
Speaker 1: they're running their businesses still. Don't think for a minute
• 3:14
Speaker 1: that these people don't have cell phones, access to the
• 3:17
Speaker 1: outside world, and access to anything that you or I have.
• 3:20
Speaker 1: They do. There's a lot of corruption when it comes
• 3:24
Speaker 1: to the American Bureau of Prisons. And there's a lot
• 3:28
Speaker 1: of guards that are on the take. Now, that doesn't
• 3:30
Speaker 1: mean all of them are. That's certainly not the case.
• 3:33
Speaker 1: There's a lot of honest, hardworking people that work for
• 3:36
Speaker 1: the Bureau of Prisons. But there's some bad apples. And
• 3:40
Speaker 1: those people cause all kinds of chaos. I mean, how
• 3:43
Speaker 1: do you think cell phones get into the prison? How
• 3:45
Speaker 1: do you think drugs get in there? Any contraband? It's
• 3:48
Speaker 1: not all being stuffed, if you will, and being, you know,
• 3:51
Speaker 1: mulled in by people who go to the bathroom and
• 3:55
Speaker 1: remove the package, right? This stuff's being brought in by
• 3:58
Speaker 1: corrupt guards. And then they're getting profit from what gets sold.
• 4:03
Speaker 1: And that's been going on in the prison system for
• 4:05
Speaker 1: a very long time. And if you have somebody like
• 4:07
Speaker 1: Diddy that shows up and disrupts all of that, there's
• 4:11
Speaker 1: going to be a lot of people that want to
• 4:12
Speaker 1: get some get back. Koch may not have been involved,
• 4:16
Speaker 1: but clearly something went down. because Combs was taken to
• 4:19
Speaker 1: a local hospital early on October 10th with something wrong
• 4:22
Speaker 1: with his noggin. You know, I was thinking that maybe
• 4:25
Speaker 1: it was one of Coke's guys. Like, Coke ordered the attack,
• 4:29
Speaker 1: and one of his henchmen carried it out. That's possible. Like,
• 4:34
Speaker 1: I had a hard time believing that Mr. Coke himself
• 4:36
Speaker 1: is going to put hands on Diddy, because that ends
• 4:39
Speaker 1: up getting him in big time trouble, right? Kind of
• 4:41
Speaker 1: hard to run your enterprise, your business, from the hole.
• 4:45
Speaker 1: So a lot of these guys obviously don't want to
• 4:47
Speaker 1: end up in solitary. So I don't know if it
• 4:51
Speaker 1: was Coke himself who put his hands on Diddy, but
• 4:54
Speaker 1: somebody that was associated with Coke, that's very possible too.
• 4:58
Speaker 1: And again, look, we're just spitballing. We don't have all
• 5:00
Speaker 1: the information. Now I'm sure that information is going to
• 5:03
Speaker 1: come out. Somebody in the jail is going to talk
• 5:06
Speaker 1: and we're going to get the real story at some point.
• 5:09
Speaker 1: But right now it's still touch and go. He returned
• 5:13
Speaker 1: to Fort Dix about 12 hours later without stitches or
• 5:17
Speaker 1: any noticeable treatment, I'm told. Since then, the whole situation
• 5:20
Speaker 1: has gone on lockdown, literally and figuratively. And originally, when
• 5:25
Speaker 1: this story came across my desk, they were saying that
• 5:27
Speaker 1: he hit his head on the top bunk. You know,
• 5:29
Speaker 1: stood up, hit his head, had to go to the hospital.
• 5:33
Speaker 1: But now we got this other story that Diddy got
• 5:36
Speaker 1: his ass beat. So I think that somewhere in the
• 5:38
Speaker 1: middle of all of that is the truth. What that
• 5:41
Speaker 1: truth is, well, I have no idea. Convicted by an
• 5:45
Speaker 1: NYC jury of two counts of transportation to engage in
• 5:48
Speaker 1: prostitution in July of 2025 at the end of a
• 5:51
Speaker 1: lurid and violence-detailing trial, Combs was sentenced in September 2025
• 5:56
Speaker 1: to a 50-month stint, with time served. With a release
• 6:00
Speaker 1: date that has gone back and forth since, Diddy currently
• 6:03
Speaker 1: scheduled to be released on March 2nd, 2028. So look,
• 6:08
Speaker 1: he's probably gonna get that Date, right? He's probably going
• 6:12
Speaker 1: to get out right around then. Now, it might get
• 6:14
Speaker 1: moved a little bit, one month here, one month there.
• 6:17
Speaker 1: But I think at this point, that's around the time
• 6:20
Speaker 1: you can expect Diddy coming home. It's extremely rare for
• 6:23
Speaker 1: the BOP to reveal anything about a prisoner, no matter
• 6:26
Speaker 1: how high profile they are. Yet in the Combs case
• 6:29
Speaker 1: and leaks about what went down last week, it seems
• 6:32
Speaker 1: some information or misinformation allegedly was coming from inside Fort
• 6:37
Speaker 1: Dix and officials felt compelled And that's exactly what you
• 6:42
Speaker 1: should expect from the BOP. Like I was saying earlier,
• 6:43
Speaker 1: they very rarely give out any kind of information. Not
• 6:45
Speaker 1: something they're into doing. Because they don't want to open
• 6:48
Speaker 1: themselves up to legal trouble, right? They don't want people
• 7:10
Speaker 1: suing them, they don't want family members going after them,
• 7:13
Speaker 1: and they don't want the situation to mushroom and get
• 7:16
Speaker 1: out of control. So the policy is, keep your mouth shut.
• 7:22
Speaker 1: In fact, even those close to Combs have little information
• 7:25
Speaker 1: I've learned. We appreciate the BOP's clarification, which confirms our
• 7:29
Speaker 1: concerns about the accuracy of the initial reports. Combs spokesperson
• 7:34
Speaker 1: Judah Engelmeyer told Deadline on Thursday. I wonder if Judah Engelmeyer...
• 7:39
Speaker 1: is related to Judge Engelmeyer. Be an interesting link, huh?
• 7:45
Speaker 1: We have not independently verified the circumstances surrounding the alleged incident,
• 7:49
Speaker 1: and I don't want to speculate about what may or
• 7:52
Speaker 1: may not have happened. At this point, we have not
• 7:54
Speaker 1: verified information indicating that Sean was attacked by Christopher Koch
• 7:58
Speaker 1: or anyone else, or that he sustained injuries. So, kind
• 8:02
Speaker 1: of clouded, right? Two competing storylines. Did Diddy get attacked
• 8:06
Speaker 1: or didn't he? Did he have an accident? Did he fall?
• 8:09
Speaker 1: Did he hit his head? Or was he attacked by
• 8:11
Speaker 1: Christopher Coke or somebody else? And as of right now,
• 8:15
Speaker 1: we just don't have that information. Combs has been in
• 8:18
Speaker 1: solitary confinement since images of him with a smuggled in
• 8:22
Speaker 1: smartphone and other luxuries were made public. Stuck in the shoe,
• 8:26
Speaker 1: special housing unit as it's termed, Combs has very limited
• 8:29
Speaker 1: communication with the outside world. That communication is limited by
• 8:34
Speaker 1: design and by choice it seems. Yeah, once you're in solitary,
• 8:38
Speaker 1: you know, you're locked down basically. Now, of course, you
• 8:41
Speaker 1: have some rights still. You're going to be able to
• 8:44
Speaker 1: go eat. You got to go out every now and then.
• 8:46
Speaker 1: But when you're in solitary, there's a reason. More times
• 8:49
Speaker 1: than not, you've broken the rules and now you're being punished.
• 8:53
Speaker 1: Think about it like being grounded when you're a kid.
• 8:55
Speaker 1: You got to go to your room. Got to go
• 8:58
Speaker 1: to your room now. You're grounded for a week. Same
• 9:01
Speaker 1: kind of deal. Over the past week, Diddy has not
• 9:05
Speaker 1: used the daily call he's permitted to touch base with
• 9:07
Speaker 1: his attorneys, nor has he contacted other reps from Solitary.
• 9:13
Speaker 1: Because 56-year-old Combs is over 18, the Bureau of Prisons
• 9:17
Speaker 1: is not required to pass along any info to anyone
• 9:19
Speaker 1: about him. To put it simply, if Combs wants someone,
• 9:23
Speaker 1: anyone to know what's going on, it's his call to make.
• 9:26
Speaker 1: So that's interesting too. Maybe Diddy's embarrassed. Maybe he doesn't
• 9:30
Speaker 1: want anyone knowing that he got his ass beat That'll
• 9:34
Speaker 1: kind of damage the image, right? The tough guy image
• 9:37
Speaker 1: that he tries to broadcast. Can't be getting your ass
• 9:40
Speaker 1: beat if you're some kind of tough guy. The Bad
• 9:44
Speaker 1: Boy Records founder has not been making that call. The
• 9:48
Speaker 1: mitigating factor might be when he's released from the shoe.
• 9:51
Speaker 1: Unless there's another incident, Combs will be in solitary confinement
• 9:54
Speaker 1: for at least one more week, sources say. So that
• 9:57
Speaker 1: has to do with the contraband, right? It has nothing
• 10:00
Speaker 1: to do with this fight. Now, if he gets some
• 10:02
Speaker 1: time added onto it, that might give us a little
• 10:05
Speaker 1: bit more of an idea of what went down. In
• 10:08
Speaker 1: the free world, and having failed to secure a pardon
• 10:11
Speaker 1: from old party pal Donald Trump, Combs is pursuing a
• 10:14
Speaker 1: fast-track appeal of his case. At the same time, the
• 10:18
Speaker 1: much-accused three-time Grammy winner is battling multiple civil suits and
• 10:22
Speaker 1: a possible sexual battery indictment by the LA district attorney.
• 10:26
Speaker 1: Now that's something I've been keeping an eye on. And
• 10:29
Speaker 1: I think that Diddy might be in some jeopardy. I
• 10:33
Speaker 1: think that it's going to be some very dangerous waters,
• 10:37
Speaker 1: if you will, for Diddy when it comes to this
• 10:39
Speaker 1: possible indictment. Now that doesn't mean that it's definitely going
• 10:43
Speaker 1: to go down, but I think they have enough information
• 10:46
Speaker 1: and they're building a pretty strong case. Now keep in mind,
• 10:50
Speaker 1: they had a pretty strong case against Diddy when it
• 10:52
Speaker 1: comes to the trafficking and Rico as well, and we
• 10:55
Speaker 1: see how that ended up. So there's nothing that's a guarantee.
• 10:59
Speaker 1: But it's certainly something that's troubling for Diddy, without a doubt.
• 11:05
Speaker 1: After a trial in the summer of 2025, the Southern
• 11:08
Speaker 1: District of New York U.S. Attorney's Office fell far short
• 11:11
Speaker 1: in its efforts to convince a Manhattan jury that Combs
• 11:14
Speaker 1: was guilty of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges. If
• 11:19
Speaker 1: Combs had been found guilty in the trial, full of
• 11:21
Speaker 1: film sex parties and freak-offs, Cassie Ventura beating, drug binges, threats,
• 11:26
Speaker 1: exploding cars, and allegedly hanging people off of balconies, the
• 11:30
Speaker 1: one-time mini-mogul could have received a life sentence. And look,
• 11:35
Speaker 1: that was certainly something that was on the table. The
• 11:38
Speaker 1: problem was, the prosecution couldn't get it done. Not having
• 11:42
Speaker 1: Coram come in, you know, we talked about this a
• 11:44
Speaker 1: little bit, but not having her up on the stand
• 11:46
Speaker 1: was a big deal. If you're going to say a
• 11:48
Speaker 1: guy's running a Rico enterprise, then you have to bring
• 11:52
Speaker 1: charges against other people, the co-conspirators, the captains, if you will.
• 11:56
Speaker 1: And we didn't see that. And not only that, they
• 11:59
Speaker 1: lost one of the accusers and her testimony. She decided
• 12:04
Speaker 1: she wasn't going to testify. And that was a big shot.
• 12:07
Speaker 1: And that really helped Diddy's defense out a whole lot.
• 12:11
Speaker 1: And we see what the end result was. So when
• 12:14
Speaker 1: it comes to Diddy, and charges against them, especially the
• 12:17
Speaker 1: second time around, they better have things locked in. But
• 12:20
Speaker 1: as far as what happened to Diddy in this prison,
• 12:23
Speaker 1: we just don't know yet. So we'll keep an eye
• 12:26
Speaker 1: on it, and when we get some updates, we'll get
• 12:28
Speaker 1: those added to the catalog as well. All the information
• 12:32
Speaker 1: that goes with this episode can be found in the
• 12:34
  Speaker 1: description box.
