MURDERED: John Fitzgerald Kennedy
On November 22, 1963, President John Fitzgerald Kennedy was shot and killed while riding in an open motorcade through Dealey Plaza in Dallas, Texas. A suspect was killed before trial, two official investigations reached opposite conclusions, and key government records remained classified for more than fifty years, leaving the question of whether Oswald acted alone still formally unresolved. As of 2023, a subset of CIA records relating to Oswald's pre-assassination contacts remains withheld from public release.
